Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi, everyone, Welcome back to Vanity Farah. My name is
- 0:05Speaker 1: Chris Fara, and I'm excited to talk to you today
- 0:08Speaker 1: about ninety Day Fiance. It's Before the ninety Days. It's
- 0:10Speaker 1: season eight, it's episode seventeen. Welcome to your destination. I
- 0:15Speaker 1: have no guest except for the Bengals on my arms.
- 0:18Speaker 1: They're back and they're going to you know, probably talk
- 0:21Speaker 1: as much as me. But I'm going to tell you this,
- 0:24Speaker 1: I want ninety eight Fiance producers to like take their
- 0:31Speaker 1: foot off the gas a little bit, because we're now
- 0:35Speaker 1: in episode seventeen of this again, season eight, Before the
- 0:38Speaker 1: ninety Days, and the stories are toggling between I mean
- 0:44Speaker 1: incredibly repetitive, like within each couple and trying so hard
- 0:51Speaker 1: to have like dramatic moments that are you know, falling
- 0:55Speaker 1: flat and also feel like fucking deja vu and also
- 0:59Speaker 1: are like what buddies and I really want to like
- 1:05Speaker 1: lean into less seasons of BS and you know, perhaps
- 1:12Speaker 1: a focus on what brought us here, which is like
- 1:15Speaker 1: authentic storytelling. Why am I talking about this? This is
- 1:18Speaker 1: why A Because we're about to get a brand new
- 1:20Speaker 1: season of regular ninety Day Fiance, which is supposed to
- 1:24Speaker 1: be the bread and Butter which started this, which is
- 1:26Speaker 1: this format we know ninety days, they get here, cultures,
- 1:30Speaker 1: fish out of water, people coming together, finding love, who
- 1:34Speaker 1: knows what's happening, dealing with families and the situations, and
- 1:38Speaker 1: that I think that the other thing that happened for
- 1:40Speaker 1: me is I watched Love on the Spectrum, which as
- 1:44Speaker 1: a docuseries format feels very different from ninety day and
- 1:48Speaker 1: it feels easier or more organic sometimes, and it's funny
- 1:53Speaker 1: because I want to care and be invested in couples,
- 2:00Speaker 1: like that's why we're watching this. But sometimes what feels
- 2:03Speaker 1: like the heavy handedness from the producers to make something
- 2:06Speaker 1: happen is giving us like a lot of similar bs.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So and for me, nothing is more boring than like
- 2:16Speaker 1: scene after scene of Forest having to confront Mollie, Like
- 2:20Speaker 1: how many times can we have that scene? How many
- 2:23Speaker 1: times can we have Molly yelling at Forest and then
- 2:28Speaker 1: like what, Forest stands up for himself a little bit
- 2:31Speaker 1: or sheena a little bit. It's like this is the
- 2:33Speaker 1: sixth conversation of that. Like I want to think that
- 2:38Speaker 1: producers sit down and they're like, well, this is what
- 2:41Speaker 1: happens in episode one of this couple and this is
- 2:43Speaker 1: what happens in episode two, and it's like they have
- 2:46Speaker 1: to realize that they're doing the same thing over and
- 2:49Speaker 1: over again. They got to know that is this all AI?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Come on? Like, so I'm going to start with them,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and I'm mad. Okay, so I'm mad, But I also
- 2:58Speaker 1: really need you to watch Love in the Spectrum. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: if you need like a pala cleanser of like maybe
- 3:03Speaker 1: a little more what feels like a softer and or
- 3:07Speaker 1: smaller and or more real and like a more nuanced
- 3:11Speaker 1: idea of people coming together loving, the Spectrum is going
- 3:15Speaker 1: to give it to you. At the same time, let's
- 3:17Speaker 1: start with Forest and Ghena I already have, and then
- 3:20Speaker 1: let's move on to you know, Anna and javaon and
- 3:23Speaker 1: you know, really it's like, what what can be done? Okay?
- 3:27Speaker 1: So with Forest and Shena, if you were going to
- 3:29Speaker 1: move the you know, past the point that the producers
- 3:33Speaker 1: decided to make it a storyline that he had never
- 3:36Speaker 1: been there. When the Internet exists and people saw that
- 3:39Speaker 1: he had been there before. That's confusing to me because
- 3:43Speaker 1: to me, it's not like such a big thing that
- 3:47Speaker 1: he either had or had not been there before. She's
- 3:50Speaker 1: still not living in America, so like it's still before
- 3:53Speaker 1: the ninety days. It just felt like an extra layer
- 3:57Speaker 1: of nonsensical, not real stakes that gets found out because
- 4:03Speaker 1: the internet's really big and people be doing things with
- 4:08Speaker 1: time on their hands. I mean, I feel like if
- 4:12Speaker 1: you should. I feel like the documentary Don't Fuck with
- 4:14Speaker 1: Cats also is like we do things on the internet now.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We're little sleuths, you know. Like I'm not saying we're
- 4:21Speaker 1: right or wrong, and we mean the entirety of the world,
- 4:24Speaker 1: but like people have an idea and they want to
- 4:26Speaker 1: find out an answer. It's like so not hard to
- 4:29Speaker 1: find it out now, and it's like sucky but true. Why.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I mean, because you really can just go up and
- 4:34Speaker 1: down people's social medias and then the friends of theirs,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you know, and really find out whatever the f you want.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You can find out what people's ex girlfriends look like
- 4:43Speaker 1: or ex boyfriends. You can find out what ex wives
- 4:45Speaker 1: look like. You can find out people are married, you
- 4:46Speaker 1: can find out what they've been doing. You know, people
- 4:50Speaker 1: can tell you, honey that they're an entrepreneur, but like
- 4:52Speaker 1: you can really find out that you know, no, they
- 4:55Speaker 1: they you know, God bless them. Trying to think of
- 4:57Speaker 1: a they're a task rabbit or something. I'm just saying
- 4:59Speaker 1: it's it's like, there is the ability to find out
- 5:02Speaker 1: the truth on the Internet with quite easy digging, and
- 5:06Speaker 1: so I really just want to challenge the producers to
- 5:10Speaker 1: sort of like get that, so lean back on the
- 5:13Speaker 1: laurels of like truth and reality. Okay, so here we
- 5:16Speaker 1: are Forest and Sheena are going to be sort of
- 5:19Speaker 1: this is their single scene, have another spa moment. That's
- 5:24Speaker 1: the best part, I guess. Really. I think about those
- 5:26Speaker 1: hot tubs a lot in the Philippines. Basically they get
- 5:29Speaker 1: wrapped in banana leaves kind of like thunderjackets and then
- 5:33Speaker 1: just like put out there. Now the ladies are like, yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 1: the banana leaves are really good for your skin, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: so it's confusing when yeah, Forest and Sheena just like
- 5:44Speaker 1: just go in fully clothed, so the banana leaves are
- 5:49Speaker 1: just laying on top of their clothes, you know. Like
- 5:52Speaker 1: He's wearing his trusty avocado shirt, the button down that
- 5:55Speaker 1: has little baby avocados on it. So I don't know
- 5:58Speaker 1: if like the banana leaf is supposed to penetrate into
- 6:00Speaker 1: the avocado shirt. But here we are Forest is like
- 6:04Speaker 1: it became you know, it's really highly recommended by the hotel.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Like okay, well at this point, go back to Sheena's
- 6:10Speaker 1: ARABNB and do like some due diligence around that community.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, if you're just gonna, you know, want to
- 6:15Speaker 1: bring business. So basically from episodes ago, we are like, oh, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you know, the lawyer said that he doesn't have enough
- 6:23Speaker 1: money for her to come to America and they're in love.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So he's like, well, you know, I think I'm gonna
- 6:27Speaker 1: stay here, but we gotta tell Mollie. And we're like,
- 6:30Speaker 1: oh no, this cannot be. It like you have got
- 6:34Speaker 1: like you've got to give us just something interesting that
- 6:37Speaker 1: they have, Like there's no drama in their lives. There's
- 6:40Speaker 1: no there's nothing. It's only Mollie. It feels like they
- 6:44Speaker 1: just put all of their ducks in the Molly basket,
- 6:46Speaker 1: you know. And Dev's giving hardly anything, but here we are.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So it starts after they're like, we gotta tell Molly
- 6:51Speaker 1: that Forest is gonna stay here. It cuts to Molly
- 6:54Speaker 1: yelling at Dev like well we haven't heard from him,
- 6:56Speaker 1: you know, and Dev's like, oh God, bless And then
- 6:59Speaker 1: for and Sheena come back from their romantification and they
- 7:03Speaker 1: go eat somewhere. We get a little scene of this
- 7:07Speaker 1: like interesting dance that looks sort of like a fun
- 7:11Speaker 1: version of double Dutch, but then we hear that it's
- 7:15Speaker 1: has its roots during this Spanish, you know, colonization of
- 7:19Speaker 1: the Philippines, and this dance was actually like born of
- 7:23Speaker 1: the punishment that people would inflict, like from bamboos and
- 7:27Speaker 1: hurting people's feet, and we're like, oh shit, they get
- 7:31Speaker 1: yemmy short ribs and then yeah, I mean I don't. Yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 1: there's another scene where Forrest gets yelled at by his mom. Okay, great,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I mean I'm you know, unwatchable truly at this point, unwatchable.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So that's what that happens. I came. It's so boring.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I can't And I feel bad because I feel like
- 7:46Speaker 1: Forrest and Shina probably probably want people to like be
- 7:49Speaker 1: on their side and probably want people to really care
- 7:51Speaker 1: about their storyline and stuff like that. And the truth
- 7:53Speaker 1: of the matter is they themselves are fine people, but
- 7:56Speaker 1: they have been, like Anna and Javonn, given a really
- 8:00Speaker 1: shoddy production that that is not interesting and it doesn't
- 8:05Speaker 1: let us really engage with like any authenticity that would
- 8:11Speaker 1: make us empathetic to them, which again is what feels
- 8:15Speaker 1: like the opposite of love on the spectrum, right, like
- 8:17Speaker 1: the authenticity of the people and love on the spectrum
- 8:21Speaker 1: like how open they are of what they're doing and
- 8:25Speaker 1: feeling feels so real that you fall in love with
- 8:28Speaker 1: them and you like want the best for them, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: you're like, you know, on their journey, even if they
- 8:33Speaker 1: were just going to the supermarket, and it's like can
- 8:35Speaker 1: they make eye contact with the you know, you're just
- 8:37Speaker 1: like they're really watching someone deal with like what could
- 8:41Speaker 1: be smaller things, but they are huge of importance because
- 8:46Speaker 1: you care so much about these people, their wants, their dreams,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and the truth of the matter is, you know, that's
- 8:52Speaker 1: just not happening here. So here's the thing. Having said that,
- 8:57Speaker 1: ninety day Fiance is coming up, and I'm excited about that.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Hunt for Love is also coming up, and I feel
- 9:02Speaker 1: mixed emotions, but you know we're gonna get into I
- 9:04Speaker 1: guess both things at some point, you know, if I
- 9:07Speaker 1: don't want to talk about a season or something that
- 9:09Speaker 1: might happen, because at the same time, I want to
- 9:12Speaker 1: be able to give you guys, like really excited and
- 9:16Speaker 1: or invested, not saying always positive, but like invested in
- 9:22Speaker 1: the story of whatever reality shows or docuseries I'm talking about,
- 9:27Speaker 1: Like it means a lot to me, and I don't
- 9:30Speaker 1: want to like just talk about superficial things, and I
- 9:32Speaker 1: can't just assign myself to bad production, boring storytelling. Like
- 9:39Speaker 1: the reason why I don't try and do Bravo shows
- 9:43Speaker 1: on here right is because it feels really fucking fake.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Bravo Real Housewives just feel so inauthentic that I just
- 9:51Speaker 1: like don't have the time in my day to watch
- 9:53Speaker 1: all of it, write notes and then want to talk
- 9:55Speaker 1: about it, like I think that this is all real.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And I'm not saying I think every moment of Nande
- 9:59Speaker 1: Fiance is, but there used to be, I swear to God,
- 10:04Speaker 1: semblances of truth and honesty. I mean, especially when you
- 10:08Speaker 1: get to meet new people, right, and it's their stories,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and like, the more and more I think that they
- 10:13Speaker 1: either reuse the same people, it gets just absolutely boring.
- 10:17Speaker 1: And the more and more that they like in their
- 10:19Speaker 1: offshoots like Before the ninety Days and Love and Parrot
- 10:22Speaker 1: or like Hunt for Love and all that stuff, the
- 10:23Speaker 1: more that they try and manufacture what they think is
- 10:26Speaker 1: going to be like oh shit moments or talkable moments,
- 10:30Speaker 1: it's it's not working. And the funny thing is with
- 10:33Speaker 1: this season of Before the ninety Days, Emma and Zied
- 10:37Speaker 1: got a lot of you know, like fan and or
- 10:41Speaker 1: like engagement Forrest and Sheena did early on, and probably
- 10:45Speaker 1: Lisa and Daniel are like the stars of this season.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And by that I mean like where they've been on
- 10:51Speaker 1: almost every episode. And you know, for Lisa, this feels
- 10:55Speaker 1: like she is authentically trying to have relations with this
- 11:00Speaker 1: man and or be in love with this man, or
- 11:02Speaker 1: she is obsessed with this man and whether he is
- 11:06Speaker 1: you know, equally and truthfully and authentically you know, probably not,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but at least we have that. At least we have her,
- 11:13Speaker 1: you know, so here we are. So when Molly starts yelling,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you know, then we also get back to like Molly
- 11:19Speaker 1: being overly into like their sex, you know what I'm saying.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So for she's like we bonded in more ways than one,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and she's like you had sex, didn't you? And you
- 11:26Speaker 1: know her and dev like give a little like houray
- 11:28Speaker 1: for that, and it's like, okay, so yeah, we'd been
- 11:33Speaker 1: knowing that she you know, talks about sex too much.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Sina just sits there and just like takes it, you
- 11:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like Molly yells at Sheena, She's
- 11:39Speaker 1: been yelling at she know the whole time. Sheina runs
- 11:41Speaker 1: away crying forced sort of like half Switzerland, dances in
- 11:46Speaker 1: between pacifying his mom and then somehow you know, like
- 11:49Speaker 1: not just throwing Sheena to the wolf, you know, like
- 11:53Speaker 1: it's gosh, yeah, like feels familiar, right. Can you believe it?
- 11:58Speaker 1: I mean yeah, can you believe that we haven't like
- 12:00Speaker 1: hung out with her friends? Like I know she says
- 12:02Speaker 1: she likes animals, but like does she have one friend?
- 12:05Speaker 1: I mean, we didn't meet her mom, her sister. You know,
- 12:07Speaker 1: she's not close to like we I'd rather see her
- 12:08Speaker 1: at work. Who's her best friend at work? Is it
- 12:10Speaker 1: a dog? Give me something like it can't? I mean
- 12:15Speaker 1: it really just it is what it is, and so
- 12:17Speaker 1: got to change it up. Okay, I'm just going to
- 12:21Speaker 1: move on quickly to Anna and Javon. So we haven't
- 12:25Speaker 1: seen them in a long ass time. We pick up
- 12:27Speaker 1: on a carnival. We're supposed to believe everything's fine now, and
- 12:29Speaker 1: it's like we're doing really we're doing really good. So
- 12:31Speaker 1: now we're gonna have our anniversary party. And we're like, oh, okay,
- 12:34Speaker 1: who's gonna pay for the anniversary party? So their anniversary
- 12:37Speaker 1: party is happening, We're like, who's who's planning that? Who's
- 12:40Speaker 1: been planning that? Where is that happening again? Who's paying
- 12:42Speaker 1: for it? Who's coming? You know what I'm saying? Does
- 12:44Speaker 1: he know that he's having an anniversary party? Like member
- 12:46Speaker 1: his sister and stuff like that, Like Zebra gonna FaceTime
- 12:49Speaker 1: with any of them? How like the sister should have
- 12:51Speaker 1: been gifted a flight to fly out here. I mean,
- 12:53Speaker 1: the sister was the best part with those glasses. Oh
- 12:55Speaker 1: my god, he is the worst part of this. So
- 12:57Speaker 1: so then my love's after sposed to believe that suddenly
- 13:01Speaker 1: everything is really good, and we're supposed to and I
- 13:03Speaker 1: mean this care about them. We don't anna Like, if
- 13:07Speaker 1: you're watching this, you got a really bad atit. I
- 13:09Speaker 1: mean as like maybe you know charming as you've been
- 13:12Speaker 1: in certain moments, like this story has not been good.
- 13:16Speaker 1: He is like boring and cynical and negative all the time.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And when you guys are smiling at each other, it
- 13:26Speaker 1: doesn't really feel real. I don't quite understand how you
- 13:29Speaker 1: even connect. He just sort of plays at the idea
- 13:33Speaker 1: of having like a wife, but he and he wants
- 13:36Speaker 1: the wife. I guess to Anna to like let him
- 13:40Speaker 1: live easily. And at the same time, it's like, oh,
- 13:45Speaker 1: do you want a ring, Well, here's fifty dollars. And
- 13:47Speaker 1: I think that if you're going to be someone that
- 13:50Speaker 1: cares about getting married, like why get married and then
- 13:53Speaker 1: yell at someone for like wanting a ring, that's the point,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but don't get married. He's like, Gully, the ring means
- 13:58Speaker 1: something to you. Yeah, well, I mean, yes, okay, I guess,
- 14:02Speaker 1: so I gotta pick it up. So oh no. So
- 14:04Speaker 1: basically my loves after this incredibly fun carnival scene, Wow,
- 14:09Speaker 1: what fucking joy I mean, and then also just like
- 14:13Speaker 1: being like we're back, We're back on board, and everyone
- 14:16Speaker 1: should just really be like, oh hearts open, care bear
- 14:19Speaker 1: stare for this couple. Then they go ring shopping, and
- 14:23Speaker 1: he is cheap, because we've been knowing that he's cheap
- 14:26Speaker 1: the entire time. He has absolutely no money, and so
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure why, but she says that they
- 14:32Speaker 1: talked about going ring shopping. She says that he wanted
- 14:35Speaker 1: to go ring shopping. He's like, I bought a ring
- 14:38Speaker 1: once ads has silver in the middle, or like what's
- 14:41Speaker 1: on the outside paper? I don't want to what what's
- 14:44Speaker 1: on the Okay? So he's like, I got you a ring.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And what had happened was he sent her money and
- 14:49Speaker 1: then she bought a ring. It was under one hundred
- 14:51Speaker 1: and made her finger green, which happens. So they go
- 14:55Speaker 1: ring shopping. She finds a band it's two hundred and
- 14:57Speaker 1: sixty eight dollars, and he's like, nah, I uh will
- 15:00Speaker 1: come back for I just wanted to get an idea.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You're already married, buddy. If you wanted to get an
- 15:05Speaker 1: idea of the ring, why didn't you, I don't know,
- 15:07Speaker 1: do that over email. You're in this country, the you
- 15:10Speaker 1: know the party's supposed to happen. If you can't afford
- 15:13Speaker 1: a two hundred and sixty eight dollars ring, who is
- 15:16Speaker 1: paying for the anniversary party? It better not be her mom.
- 15:19Speaker 1: She's embarrassed, she says, and we are embarrassed for her, like, yeah,
- 15:24Speaker 1: I half of me is like maybe it's also like
- 15:27Speaker 1: his personality, maybe he is so unlikable that the producers
- 15:31Speaker 1: were like, oh no, went on, Amber, we're gonna make
- 15:33Speaker 1: this work, So we're just gonna kind of cut them
- 15:36Speaker 1: out of the majority of the season and then like
- 15:38Speaker 1: pop them in here and there. And they were like,
- 15:40Speaker 1: oh yeah, okay, I swear to God his sister better
- 15:43Speaker 1: come to this anniversary party. I mean, someone that we
- 15:46Speaker 1: care about, someone that we have met before, like makes
- 15:48Speaker 1: something happen. Because at the same time, it's like Anna
- 15:51Speaker 1: has a life here, Why aren't we seeing Anna's life more?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Like we only got the fact that she lives next
- 15:58Speaker 1: to her mom, and her mom smealls, sells cute snacks,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and she gets massages all the time. So in my mind,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I'm like, she lives a fabulous life. She has friends, right,
- 16:06Speaker 1: and like you know, like she wants, like to me,
- 16:09Speaker 1: there could be a lot more of her and him
- 16:12Speaker 1: like having to deal with the fact that his like
- 16:16Speaker 1: kind of shitty attitude towards life doesn't come up against
- 16:20Speaker 1: what can be the joy in life, Right. I would
- 16:23Speaker 1: love this storyline to have been that he sort of
- 16:28Speaker 1: he understands that a lot of like the negative feelings
- 16:32Speaker 1: that he has is his own perception of this world,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and that if he could have put himself outside of
- 16:38Speaker 1: his himself, his body and enjoy being in the Philippines
- 16:44Speaker 1: outside of your comfort zone, watching people live in a
- 16:48Speaker 1: way that you happened before, Like not just think about
- 16:50Speaker 1: the fact that they have a small dick and like
- 16:52Speaker 1: no bake account all the time, Like if maybe there
- 16:54Speaker 1: was a moment of Javon to like grow as a
- 16:57Speaker 1: person either like become somewhat appreciative of the things he
- 17:03Speaker 1: does have, of the fact that he supposedly has found
- 17:07Speaker 1: love in this world with a very beautiful fun at
- 17:12Speaker 1: times when we see her fun side lady that like
- 17:16Speaker 1: supposedly loves him. Could there have been any pockets of
- 17:20Speaker 1: moments where we could have seen him come against that
- 17:24Speaker 1: challenge or I don't know, like even a heart to
- 17:27Speaker 1: heart with like a translating with a translator with her mom,
- 17:30Speaker 1: because his sister is a great part of the story
- 17:34Speaker 1: and her mom is a great part of the story,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and I think, yeah, I would love to see him
- 17:39Speaker 1: have to deal with a reality of the fact that, yeah,
- 17:42Speaker 1: like it's not some like weird cynical in and out game.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He feels like he's dating her even though they're married.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Do they not get married? Maybe it's maybe the whole
- 17:52Speaker 1: thing was we're supposed to really like have lock stock
- 17:55Speaker 1: and barrel that they're married, but like everyone who talks
- 17:57Speaker 1: about it, it's like you can get married online? Did he
- 17:59Speaker 1: do it? Like a tax? Right off? I don't understand
- 18:03Speaker 1: why Javonne even got married to someone who he's like,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I don't know if I should be able to buy
- 18:09Speaker 1: her a ring? Okay, it's kind of the same thing
- 18:13Speaker 1: where I'm like, Rick, if you can't afford to have
- 18:16Speaker 1: like a child in America, I mean, I don't think
- 18:18Speaker 1: you can afford to like bring on, you know, a
- 18:20Speaker 1: whole grown woman who can't work, you know as well?
- 18:25Speaker 1: And now maybe you can. I'm talking about Trici and Rick.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Trish will be able to work, I guess in two years.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But it doesn't make logical sense to me. And it
- 18:32Speaker 1: sort of feels the same way where like the insecurity
- 18:36Speaker 1: that men have like is palpable, and it comes out
- 18:40Speaker 1: as being kind of this weird like not wanting to
- 18:45Speaker 1: take accountability of their own choices in life because if
- 18:49Speaker 1: they if you know, if Javon's like, you know what,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I have such a shitty personality. I am negative. I
- 18:56Speaker 1: am like a black hole of energy. I suck the
- 18:58Speaker 1: life out of the room. I know that I am
- 19:02Speaker 1: wildly appreciative that this person would spend more than one
- 19:05Speaker 1: moment with me. I know I've treated her poorly. I
- 19:09Speaker 1: know that I want to make her feel you know, small.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I know that when I feel like I haven't made
- 19:15Speaker 1: enough money, or I feel broken this world, or I
- 19:17Speaker 1: think about my small dick, I know that I feel
- 19:19Speaker 1: bad about that, and I can see how my energy
- 19:22Speaker 1: and my words, you know, are stemming from that. And boy,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I wish that I could just feel better about myself
- 19:28Speaker 1: and then people around me will have a better experience
- 19:32Speaker 1: with me. Now, Rick could be like, oh, same, if
- 19:35Speaker 1: I feel better about myself and like either how either
- 19:39Speaker 1: my bank account numbers or you know, how I've moved
- 19:44Speaker 1: through this world with integrity and dignity. I think that
- 19:48Speaker 1: his like confidence in himself would be a more palatable
- 19:53Speaker 1: thing for everyone involved. But his insecurity, you know, makes
- 19:58Speaker 1: it so he needs an escape plan because he feels
- 20:02Speaker 1: like he is at the end of the day, someone
- 20:06Speaker 1: who can't sustain a relationship and therefore is going to
- 20:09Speaker 1: need an escape and usually an escape plan for someone
- 20:13Speaker 1: who wants female companionship and knows that they're not doing
- 20:19Speaker 1: enough to sustain an actual relationship. We'll just you know,
- 20:22Speaker 1: keep someone on the side options and that's basically I
- 20:26Speaker 1: think what happens with him. So but let's go back.
- 20:28Speaker 1: So obviously with Javon and Anna, he doesn't buy the
- 20:32Speaker 1: ring like I said, and she's embarrassed. I guess that's
- 20:34Speaker 1: the another story. So we guess we can want I
- 20:37Speaker 1: mean this is right, I mean I have him. He
- 20:39Speaker 1: is like, oh no, how do I make this good
- 20:41Speaker 1: for you? In this episode? But I think, if I'm
- 20:43Speaker 1: being honest, this wasn't a great episode and they really
- 20:47Speaker 1: need to pick it up because this is almost the
- 20:49Speaker 1: end of the season and these stories are wrapping up horribly. Okay,
- 20:53Speaker 1: so don't worry. I have some good I have some
- 20:56Speaker 1: choice moments. I'm getting past all the ones I can't
- 20:59Speaker 1: stand now I can at least get to you to
- 21:01Speaker 1: some you know, pockets of grace and joy. Don't even worry.
- 21:06Speaker 1: But here we are, all right, So we're freaking trish
- 21:09Speaker 1: because okay, so obviously we're in the middle of the
- 21:12Speaker 1: scene where her dad and uncle have to literally put
- 21:15Speaker 1: his whole fucking body to fire coals and be like,
- 21:19Speaker 1: have a child with our daughter, or leave sir, and
- 21:23Speaker 1: like Rick is tap dancing, you know, like just like
- 21:26Speaker 1: did did Diddy? And at one point he's like, well,
- 21:29Speaker 1: have you told them it's only been a year of
- 21:31Speaker 1: us talking? And I'd be like, but that's kind of
- 21:33Speaker 1: a long time. A year. Yeah, they've been knowing that
- 21:36Speaker 1: you've been talking a year, Like did you? A year
- 21:39Speaker 1: is a long time. A year is not like three months.
- 21:42Speaker 1: So anyway, she's like, bitch, fuck you. They're saying now
- 21:46Speaker 1: or never, you know, you can. You know. The good
- 21:48Speaker 1: thing about this moment, and the shitty thing about this
- 21:50Speaker 1: moment is that Rick is only forced to do something
- 21:56Speaker 1: by the pure act that other men are in the room,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and it forces him to make a choice. But if
- 22:01Speaker 1: the men weren't there, he wouldn't. Rick's not great. Rick's
- 22:05Speaker 1: hard is Rick's a hard pill to swallow and like
- 22:07Speaker 1: and by that I mean I would be like, no,
- 22:09Speaker 1: give me a fucking different prescription or I'll just die
- 22:12Speaker 1: from this disease. I can't take this pill. You know,
- 22:14Speaker 1: it's like a horse pill, honey, And like I don't
- 22:16Speaker 1: want to swallow it, and like it's coming back up
- 22:19Speaker 1: and you know, I don't think it's doing any good.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's a long bit about that pill, honey. You know
- 22:24Speaker 1: that's my that's my either comedic flaw is that I
- 22:28Speaker 1: will just well, I'll beat a horse to death with
- 22:31Speaker 1: a joke, you know. So my love he has the
- 22:34Speaker 1: audacity to be like her. Happiness is all I want.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Your happiness is all you want. Your happiness is all
- 22:39Speaker 1: you want. Okay, So anyway, I gotta remind myself that, like,
- 22:43Speaker 1: not all men are horrible. No, there are really lovely people,
- 22:47Speaker 1: not just people. There are bad women too. There are
- 22:49Speaker 1: horrible people in this world, and there are fine people
- 22:53Speaker 1: in this world, and there are great people in this world.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And the horrible people have great moments and the great
- 22:57Speaker 1: people have horrible moments. You're we getting a lot of
- 23:01Speaker 1: one type. And I guess like that kind of goes
- 23:03Speaker 1: back to maybe the storytelling of it all is because
- 23:06Speaker 1: people aren't one hundred percent good. People aren't one hundred
- 23:08Speaker 1: percent bad. Like I said, So, if everything is the
- 23:10Speaker 1: exact same that you're giving me about someone that's bad
- 23:13Speaker 1: writing bad storytelling, you have to give us like fatal flaws.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You have to give us like inside moments. You have
- 23:20Speaker 1: to give us like vulnerability, And it has to be
- 23:23Speaker 1: real because we can sniff it on us. We can
- 23:25Speaker 1: smell it on us. You know, it's interesting. I thought
- 23:28Speaker 1: a lot about this, and you can imagine that all
- 23:30Speaker 1: I do is just like have obsessive thoughts, intrusive thoughts
- 23:33Speaker 1: all day long. I haven't been sleeping. Everything is fine.
- 23:35Speaker 1: But let me tell you. I love theater so much,
- 23:37Speaker 1: right I love plays? And I thought about why do
- 23:40Speaker 1: I like like certain reality shows? And why did reality
- 23:42Speaker 1: shows become such a big thing, and what's happening? And
- 23:44Speaker 1: it's because a couple of things. Entertainment exists in the
- 23:47Speaker 1: wide variety, right like, and we need all types at
- 23:52Speaker 1: its core. Storytelling or theater is like this sort of
- 23:55Speaker 1: compulsive need to watch human behavior. We are humans to
- 24:00Speaker 1: watch authentic human behavior because at the end of the day,
- 24:05Speaker 1: it like makes us all feel seen, validated, not alone
- 24:09Speaker 1: part of it understanding. It gives us clarity, It gives us,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, perspective. It's like all of that. Now it
- 24:18Speaker 1: doesn't have to be when I say real authentic storytelling
- 24:21Speaker 1: or whatnot. There are so many styles and tones and like,
- 24:25Speaker 1: really great artists of certain mediums can tell an authentic
- 24:30Speaker 1: story about wants and human needs. While doing it in
- 24:34Speaker 1: like a hilarious way, you know, and that would be
- 24:37Speaker 1: like comedy, and comedy can be good or comedy can
- 24:40Speaker 1: be bad. It's funny, like there's I've talked about this
- 24:44Speaker 1: so Oh Mary right is a very campy, funny play
- 24:49Speaker 1: quick play on Broadway. I've talked about it. You know,
- 24:52Speaker 1: if you're a theater person, you've heard of it. Cola
- 24:54Speaker 1: Scola wrote this play. It's very funny, and now it's
- 24:56Speaker 1: done so well, has a bunch of different people, and
- 24:58Speaker 1: I think maybe mya Rudolph Steer right now, and it's
- 25:00Speaker 1: going to come to LA. It's great. It's can't be
- 25:03Speaker 1: camp it's can't be comedy. It's you know, and by
- 25:06Speaker 1: that I mean it's a highly stylized almost like it's
- 25:09Speaker 1: a farce right where the glass are coming and they're
- 25:13Speaker 1: big and it looks big. It looks with the timing
- 25:16Speaker 1: and everything, you can really lean into it being over
- 25:19Speaker 1: the top. Now, when you watch good comedic actors do this,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you will still feel empathy for the characters even though
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know it's not real. But because like there is
- 25:34Speaker 1: an the idea of how to showcase the human spirit
- 25:40Speaker 1: in smart and or nuanced and or very specific in
- 25:44Speaker 1: real ways, even if there's a wig, and even if
- 25:48Speaker 1: there is like a hahaha a little bit, it's like
- 25:51Speaker 1: the the empathetic watcher will cling on to this character's
- 25:59Speaker 1: desire most in their life and cares so much. Now,
- 26:02Speaker 1: obviously this free play we're seeing, you know, like a
- 26:05Speaker 1: piece of a narrative that we get to follow and
- 26:08Speaker 1: docu series formats, we're getting people in and out. At
- 26:10Speaker 1: the same time, there are story producers. So someone is
- 26:13Speaker 1: assigned to Trician Rick and they're going through the whole thing,
- 26:16Speaker 1: and they're going through you know, there was producers assigned to,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you know, Javonne and Anna. I mean personally, those people
- 26:24Speaker 1: should be fired. For Javon and Anna. I mean if
- 26:25Speaker 1: I was in and I would fucking sue them, be like, yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you're the made us boring af I mean, or maybe
- 26:31Speaker 1: that was Javon, I can't quite tell. But at the
- 26:33Speaker 1: same time, I wonder if the producers were like, this
- 26:35Speaker 1: is not really watchable. Let's bring back ben On, Let's
- 26:37Speaker 1: bring back Elise. So interesting. So Trician Rick, you know,
- 26:41Speaker 1: like he says that he wants only her happiness and
- 26:43Speaker 1: we're like no, but okay, and then as they're driving
- 26:47Speaker 1: away from her parents' house, they're going to go back
- 26:50Speaker 1: for a few days before he has to leave, and
- 26:53Speaker 1: she asks in the car, like, what if you change
- 26:55Speaker 1: your mind about wanting to have a kid? He's like, oh, baby,
- 26:57Speaker 1: I won't, and things still keep going the way they're going.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And even there, I was like, oh, it feels like
- 27:02Speaker 1: a threat. If things keep going the way they're going.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Is that your way of being like if you do
- 27:07Speaker 1: what I say? I thought it was very telling, and
- 27:10Speaker 1: I think that she knew it too. She's young, so
- 27:12Speaker 1: she's like, I think that she's young, so she's trying
- 27:14Speaker 1: to figure out what's real and Trisha is smart. So anyway,
- 27:17Speaker 1: so they get to the airport and their flight is delayed,
- 27:21Speaker 1: and as we're like filming, can't quite tell it's just
- 27:24Speaker 1: one person in the like airport area with them, an
- 27:29Speaker 1: hour goes by, and she's like, do you love me?
- 27:31Speaker 1: And he's like yeah, babe, yeah, And another hour goes
- 27:34Speaker 1: by is their flight's delayed, and then we see her
- 27:37Speaker 1: grabbing his phone, and then we get him being like yeah.
- 27:40Speaker 1: She get asking me if I really loved her, and
- 27:43Speaker 1: I didn't understand why, and then she asked my phone,
- 27:45Speaker 1: and then I realized, oh shit, she saw that I
- 27:50Speaker 1: like had texted my ex. So she was testing you
- 27:54Speaker 1: to be like, why the fuck are you at my
- 27:56Speaker 1: dad's house telling me you're and to have kids? Why
- 27:59Speaker 1: are you saying you are like me? And then why
- 28:01Speaker 1: are you texting this X? And what he had texted
- 28:04Speaker 1: was this, So I guess his ex was like, you
- 28:05Speaker 1: never really loved me, and he was like some of
- 28:09Speaker 1: the most beautiful moments I had was with you, which
- 28:11Speaker 1: is interesting in itself because I'm like, well, he didn't
- 28:13Speaker 1: even say that he loved you. He's not even that's
- 28:15Speaker 1: not an answer. Some of the most beautiful moments I've
- 28:18Speaker 1: had were with you, like the moment in which you
- 28:21Speaker 1: thought that your current girlfriend was cheating on you. And
- 28:24Speaker 1: so this other ex girlfriend was like, yeah, come to Columbia,
- 28:26Speaker 1: and I'm like, God, I think she's from Columbia. I
- 28:29Speaker 1: can't remember where. I'm so sorry. It was like she's
- 28:32Speaker 1: from like a lot. I'm like, is it yeah, some
- 28:35Speaker 1: South American I believe country. Maybe not though, but I'm
- 28:38Speaker 1: just sorry she's not from Madagascar. So anyway, Goda blush.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So Rick's like, oh, should I got found out. Everything
- 28:45Speaker 1: was going so well. Then I fucked it up, is
- 28:47Speaker 1: what he says. Now at this point, Trish is like,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I can't. She gets up and goes to the bathroom
- 28:52Speaker 1: and we're like, girl, you know, you know this man
- 28:55Speaker 1: isn't shit. She He's picked so many fights with you.
- 28:57Speaker 1: He keeps blaming you and like saying that you're with
- 29:00Speaker 1: your ex like he's disgusting. Please please, when Rick has
- 29:05Speaker 1: the audacity, it's like, some of the most beautiful moments
- 29:07Speaker 1: were with you to this person that was like he
- 29:08Speaker 1: never really loved me, and it's not an answer to that.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It's so interesting because it's of course, like one question
- 29:13Speaker 1: is why even right back, why engage you never really
- 29:15Speaker 1: loved me? Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, but
- 29:17Speaker 1: I am in a relationship now, so I'm gonna honor
- 29:19Speaker 1: that one. Thank you so much, correct answer or block
- 29:23Speaker 1: even better answer. But no, he wants to like keep
- 29:26Speaker 1: this person in his life by not giving her a
- 29:29Speaker 1: straight answer that he ever loved her, because I don't
- 29:30Speaker 1: think he can love anyone. I think that he's truely
- 29:32Speaker 1: a selfish person who only operates for himself because his
- 29:36Speaker 1: happiness is all that he wants, and so His version
- 29:39Speaker 1: is to be like, again, I've had great moments with you,
- 29:42Speaker 1: and we know that those moments are in his mind
- 29:46Speaker 1: sexual sexual moments. Anyway, let's move on, my babes. Okay,
- 29:50Speaker 1: So feels like we got those people done and let's
- 29:54Speaker 1: have some fun, all right, So let's move on to
- 29:57Speaker 1: Elise and Joshua, which like now she calls him Joshua,
- 30:04Speaker 1: She's gonna go to the gym, and we're like hot
- 30:06Speaker 1: in the heels of her having a whole, uh spiraling
- 30:10Speaker 1: kind of meltdown over his well, let's talk about it.
- 30:15Speaker 1: She's like his relationship with Nat. Now, she's like, I
- 30:18Speaker 1: triggered because you lied about Nat. And the truth of
- 30:20Speaker 1: the matter is she is triggered because in her core,
- 30:24Speaker 1: she's like, I've been taken advantage of by men, and
- 30:28Speaker 1: you know, specifically, I, you know, want someone who has
- 30:33Speaker 1: like a financial stability about him, and josh is not
- 30:36Speaker 1: that has never been that. It wasn't for isn't gonna
- 30:39Speaker 1: be for release, wasn't for his ex that like you know,
- 30:42Speaker 1: complained that he didn't have enough money. He's not been
- 30:44Speaker 1: having enough money for anyone for him, for a lease
- 30:47Speaker 1: for you know, what seems like his ex wife and
- 30:51Speaker 1: the son. Like Josh knows that to his core and
- 30:53Speaker 1: it eats away at him and he feels shitty about it.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And then so anytime anyone actually like brings it up,
- 30:58Speaker 1: he is like he feels a mass. And the way
- 31:00Speaker 1: that Elise does it is loud and a lot. So
- 31:03Speaker 1: I mean, here's the thing. So Josh is like, yeah,
- 31:06Speaker 1: he's telling his friend Chris everything that happened and how
- 31:09Speaker 1: embarrassing it was, and Chris is like, yeah, that does
- 31:12Speaker 1: sound embarrassing. Also, it would be so much easier, buddy,
- 31:15Speaker 1: if you could just get a job that, like, you know,
- 31:17Speaker 1: you could just adhere to and like wouldn't try and
- 31:19Speaker 1: fuck up by getting you know, like taking joy rides
- 31:22Speaker 1: only because like if you are pushing what looks like
- 31:24Speaker 1: forty seven and you complain about money this much, like
- 31:28Speaker 1: might as well fucking put the beer can down, put
- 31:31Speaker 1: the vegamite can down, and then just do some due diligence.
- 31:35Speaker 1: If you love boats, find a better boat job. Josh
- 31:38Speaker 1: has like no responsibility in his life. Leise knows it,
- 31:42Speaker 1: and Elise instead of like taking care of herself and
- 31:45Speaker 1: then oh, that's the thing that I need and I
- 31:47Speaker 1: want is like a man that has like responsibility, integrity.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying it seems like that's what
- 31:51Speaker 1: she kind of was hinting at in the beginning. She
- 31:54Speaker 1: would have to realize that this person has told her
- 31:56Speaker 1: no and shown her no. Okay, basically, so she comes
- 32:00Speaker 1: back in the room and she's she says that she's
- 32:04Speaker 1: embarrassed for last night, and then she kind of like pauses,
- 32:07Speaker 1: and Chris is like, I'm sorry, it's an apology. And meanwhile,
- 32:10Speaker 1: Josh has like, you know, just a bunch of red
- 32:12Speaker 1: rye bread in his mouth. Those men love carbs, God
- 32:15Speaker 1: bless them. You know. She's like, I don't know if
- 32:20Speaker 1: that's an apology. So then she immediately bends over and
- 32:22Speaker 1: she's like, but are we still going to the zoo?
- 32:24Speaker 1: They do go to the zoo. Now, best part of
- 32:26Speaker 1: the episode, honey, is that we meet Camira. Camia is
- 32:31Speaker 1: a Koala honey that does not like to be touched
- 32:36Speaker 1: hands off. And at the same time, Elise looks that
- 32:39Speaker 1: and it's like a weird I can't imagine that. No
- 32:43Speaker 1: hands on for me, honey, Like, you know, meanwhile, Josh
- 32:47Speaker 1: is like, let'll tell you one thing about Koala is
- 32:49Speaker 1: that do carry chlamydia and we're like all of them
- 32:51Speaker 1: certain ones, how did they get it? And is there
- 32:54Speaker 1: some really gross things happening down under that made sure
- 33:00Speaker 1: that that was a known thing and that happened, And
- 33:02Speaker 1: does it cross species? Is that why it's a known fact.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I just don't want to think about that, but you're
- 33:08Speaker 1: gonna bring it up. I can't. So syphilis is the
- 33:10Speaker 1: one STD that makes people go crazy, right like kings,
- 33:14Speaker 1: like the kings in the past all had syphilis and
- 33:16Speaker 1: stuff like that. Anyway, chlamydia, I've got blessed chlamydia. I
- 33:20Speaker 1: mean that gross guy got chalmydia that you know, dated
- 33:24Speaker 1: faith from the Philippines. I shouldn't say that. I should
- 33:26Speaker 1: say STDs are a part of human life, so it's
- 33:28Speaker 1: not gross. You know, people get it or whatever. But
- 33:31Speaker 1: he was gross. That's what I meant. You know, is
- 33:33Speaker 1: chlemydia that kick the clap. I'll tell you one thing.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I think because I've had like such, you know, like
- 33:38Speaker 1: insecurity in my life, even though I've had a lot
- 33:40Speaker 1: of sex, I've just not God blessed had STDs like
- 33:43Speaker 1: I'm knock on wood, just have never had to deal
- 33:45Speaker 1: with it. You know, like that's the one thing that
- 33:48Speaker 1: being like so heavily Catholic indoctrinated into my soul that like,
- 33:52Speaker 1: you know, I really you know, can really hardly ever
- 33:56Speaker 1: enjoy you know, casual sex. It's like very difficult for me. Yeah,
- 34:00Speaker 1: I don't have to deal with that as much. And
- 34:03Speaker 1: now that I said that, God bless like hope, I
- 34:05Speaker 1: don't turn the tables. So we get to the zoo, honey,
- 34:10Speaker 1: as we said, and we met the koala. Who's the
- 34:12Speaker 1: best part. And by the way, also like in zoo
- 34:14Speaker 1: News and like animal news right now, it's like, you know,
- 34:17Speaker 1: we're coming off of Easter and then Orthodox Easters the
- 34:19Speaker 1: next week, my babes and in Big Bear in California,
- 34:22Speaker 1: there's like brand new bald Eagles. Well here's the thing.
- 34:26Speaker 1: There's this like bald eagle couple. Okay, it's like a
- 34:29Speaker 1: whole thing. Once name Shadow on the other one is
- 34:31Speaker 1: like Jessica or something like that. I'm not quite sure.
- 34:33Speaker 1: It's like a normal name in Shadow. Okay. So they
- 34:35Speaker 1: have a whole story and you can like follow online.
- 34:38Speaker 1: There's stories that last year Babes they had two eggs,
- 34:41Speaker 1: two like bald eagle eggs and those babies were like
- 34:45Speaker 1: taken by predators. And so this year they had two
- 34:50Speaker 1: more eggs, and so like the whole internet and everyone
- 34:53Speaker 1: has been like, oh my god, it's gonna happen on
- 34:54Speaker 1: these eggs. And last weekend one of the eggs started
- 34:59Speaker 1: chirping like and broke forth, and so like that baby's out.
- 35:05Speaker 1: By the time you're hearing this, the baby's out. But
- 35:07Speaker 1: this whole week and people have been watching that baby
- 35:09Speaker 1: like come out of the eggs. And I had to
- 35:11Speaker 1: learn so much. Like so when a bird is in
- 35:14Speaker 1: an egg, there's like a whole mucous membrane and then
- 35:16Speaker 1: they got to poke through the mucous membrane, right, and
- 35:19Speaker 1: so once they start chirping, you re realize that they've
- 35:22Speaker 1: taken their first breath. Oh, isn't that so crazy? And
- 35:26Speaker 1: so then there's like the of course, like the kind
- 35:29Speaker 1: of like you know, a caterpillar coming out of the cocoon.
- 35:32Speaker 1: There's like the time it takes for the body of
- 35:36Speaker 1: this bird to get the strength and literally experience the
- 35:41Speaker 1: age to have its muscles like break through the egg.
- 35:45Speaker 1: And then it's like here I am world, I'm coming out. Oh,
- 35:49Speaker 1: it's like so eastery it's like so spring, It's so
- 35:52Speaker 1: great anyway, so love animals. Really feeling great about that,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you know, I mean, like camera, I feel like can
- 35:57Speaker 1: really tell probably so many tales. I love that she
- 36:00Speaker 1: loves people, but I also loves that she doesn't like
- 36:02Speaker 1: to be touched. And it's funny because the next thing
- 36:05Speaker 1: out of Alisa's mouth is like, it's so weird you're
- 36:07Speaker 1: not touching me to Joshua, who's like still, I guess
- 36:09Speaker 1: somewhat mad at her, because yeah, like Elise's and if
- 36:15Speaker 1: you're hearing this girl, your addiction to male attention is
- 36:21Speaker 1: only going to hurt you in the end. I mean
- 36:23Speaker 1: literally if you have a lot of anal sex ha
- 36:25Speaker 1: ha ha. No, but I mean straight up, she wants
- 36:26Speaker 1: to be touched. She wants to be like, you know,
- 36:28Speaker 1: like wanted, and she wants and she definitely wants, of course,
- 36:31Speaker 1: to be considered sexy. She wants men to like, you know,
- 36:34Speaker 1: bust a nut all over her and she's going to like,
- 36:37Speaker 1: you know, showcase that was he's her dressing later. But
- 36:39Speaker 1: at the same time, it's interesting, like Alise has to
- 36:43Speaker 1: me a lot of great qualities. And I want to
- 36:46Speaker 1: say this because the women on the show. There's a
- 36:49Speaker 1: I hate a lot of them men on the show, right,
- 36:51Speaker 1: like I really don't like Rick, and I really don't
- 36:52Speaker 1: like Javon, and on the show, Elise, Lisa and Emma
- 36:57Speaker 1: have gotten a lot of internet hate, like not like
- 37:02Speaker 1: so much more than Javon and Rick. Rick Is Rick
- 37:06Speaker 1: is to me like, I can't, I don't, I can't,
- 37:08Speaker 1: I don't have to tell you, like I don't have
- 37:10Speaker 1: to tell you except that he scares a living hell
- 37:12Speaker 1: out of me. Lisa to me has like some issues, right,
- 37:17Speaker 1: some challenges that she's working on, and you know, we
- 37:20Speaker 1: can talk offline of what she says those are. She
- 37:23Speaker 1: did an interview and she diagnosed herself or she said
- 37:27Speaker 1: that she has bipolar disorder. That's true. And she also
- 37:30Speaker 1: low Ki said that she got malaria while on the
- 37:32Speaker 1: trip and that's why she shot the bed. And that's
- 37:34Speaker 1: also confusing because we think that malaria is being like
- 37:36Speaker 1: not just like a one night thing. Okay. Alisa gets
- 37:38Speaker 1: a lot of hate online a because she dresses the
- 37:42Speaker 1: way she does, and she is she has a body
- 37:45Speaker 1: right like a like a super slender body, and she
- 37:48Speaker 1: dresses like a certain way and people for sure comfort
- 37:50Speaker 1: her the way she looks and also the way that
- 37:52Speaker 1: she presents herself, because you know, there's like a choice.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Now she's Miami esque and we're you know, blood to
- 37:58Speaker 1: believe that that's how you know, they operate down there.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And I will tell you I'm going to go and
- 38:02Speaker 1: I'll check it out myself, you know, and I better
- 38:04Speaker 1: get tanned beforehand because I'm going to, you know, really
- 38:06Speaker 1: look out a place. But Alise has really great qualities too,
- 38:09Speaker 1: And these are like great qualities. But Elise, she's fun
- 38:13Speaker 1: and she genuinely wants to, I think, be appreciated and loved.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And to me, if you're going to be someone who
- 38:23Speaker 1: accepts that, like there's many different bodies in this world
- 38:28Speaker 1: and that women are allowed to express themselves in the
- 38:31Speaker 1: way that they're allowed to express themselves, and if you're
- 38:34Speaker 1: going to like stand on all of that, you can't
- 38:37Speaker 1: be like hating on Elise one hundred percent all the time.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I have specific things, right, I'm gonna be honest. I
- 38:47Speaker 1: went through all of her purses, but to me, those
- 38:50Speaker 1: all can't be real just purely based on the fact
- 38:54Speaker 1: that the actual clothing and fabric that Elise wears is cheap, cheap.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I don't know if it's fashion no less, some people
- 39:01Speaker 1: say that there's just no way that a rich lady
- 39:04Speaker 1: who's gonna spend what looks like fifty thousand dollars at
- 39:07Speaker 1: least on purses, is going to also just put on
- 39:10Speaker 1: like a twelve dollar chi asked piece of fabric on
- 39:13Speaker 1: their body that like, you know, never like it always
- 39:16Speaker 1: is like puckered, and it's it's she really dresses like
- 39:19Speaker 1: horribly and that I mean cheaply. Now she does dress
- 39:24Speaker 1: like provocatively, and I don't mind it because I think
- 39:28Speaker 1: it's Miami. I just wish that I could see one
- 39:31Speaker 1: other side of my of like her wearing a different
- 39:34Speaker 1: style top that isn't like you know, pieces of like
- 39:38Speaker 1: napkins where she puts her boobs in them and stuff
- 39:40Speaker 1: like that. I mean, it's more so that it looks
- 39:43Speaker 1: the same all the time, or I'm like, give us
- 39:45Speaker 1: something else, because the truth of the matter is she
- 39:48Speaker 1: can wear so much. I'm like, if you had, you know,
- 39:51Speaker 1: you could be giving us like better fashion. And it's
- 39:55Speaker 1: funny because let's move on to Lisa. Lisa is someone
- 39:58Speaker 1: who has given us like look after look, I mean
- 40:02Speaker 1: this Lisa storylines a banana one, you know, like absolutely bananas,
- 40:06Speaker 1: but like she really does, like you know, change up
- 40:09Speaker 1: her looks and she really tries. And Emma, Emma also
- 40:13Speaker 1: is fun. Like sure she has a wig and I
- 40:17Speaker 1: talk about the wig all the time. She's not a
- 40:19Speaker 1: horrible person, she's just you know, she's she's absolutely Elys.
- 40:22Speaker 1: She's like an Elise. Elise is the same as you know, Vanya, Sorry,
- 40:29Speaker 1: Varya is it Vanya? It's Fanya. I can't remember her name.
- 40:33Speaker 1: This is my brain. Fog is the same to me
- 40:36Speaker 1: as Emma, and it's a little bit the same as Darcy. Right.
- 40:41Speaker 1: It's just like the desperate need of love and it's
- 40:44Speaker 1: the driving force and the driving want and you can
- 40:46Speaker 1: see it in her eyes and I'm not getting it and
- 40:48Speaker 1: it's it's heartbreaking for them. And like the fact that
- 40:51Speaker 1: it really means so much and they're either getting it
- 40:54Speaker 1: or not getting it is what makes them ultimately watchable.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I don't think Rick wants love, and that's why he's
- 41:00Speaker 1: not watchable. Rick wants a warm pocket, a hot pocket,
- 41:04Speaker 1: a wet hot pocket that can squored out. Like that's
- 41:07Speaker 1: what Rick wants, and it gives us all the ick rick.
- 41:11Speaker 1: So it's like not something that we care about. Okay.
- 41:14Speaker 1: So also, the thing about Elise is that she is
- 41:18Speaker 1: honest with her insecurity right, Like she's not pretending to
- 41:22Speaker 1: be wildly queenly like meanly confident. She's not mean towards others.
- 41:29Speaker 1: She doesn't like, she's she's completely to me, accountable to
- 41:35Speaker 1: some of the flaws that she has, Like she gets it.
- 41:38Speaker 1: She whether she is trying to fix it. I mean,
- 41:41Speaker 1: you know, I don't know, but I think the fact
- 41:42Speaker 1: that she likes somewhat open with some of her like craziness,
- 41:46Speaker 1: it makes her watchable to me. Okay. So here we are,
- 41:49Speaker 1: so after the zoo, you know, he is like, well,
- 41:54Speaker 1: she's making it up to me because Elise is going
- 41:57Speaker 1: to spring for it means pay for the two nights
- 42:01Speaker 1: stay somewhere. Now this is hilarious. First of all, she
- 42:06Speaker 1: got so mad at him for like not being able
- 42:08Speaker 1: to like live by himself, and he's like, what have
- 42:10Speaker 1: I made you pay for? You not to put your
- 42:12Speaker 1: you know, your hand in your pocket for anything except
- 42:15Speaker 1: that now you're going to like what pay for? Like
- 42:16Speaker 1: what is going to be a huge kind of industrial
- 42:19Speaker 1: looking mid century like modern mansion with a hot tub
- 42:24Speaker 1: to me, if you're gonna like sit there and be
- 42:26Speaker 1: like she embarrassed me by saying I don't have money,
- 42:28Speaker 1: and then you're also going to let this woman pay
- 42:30Speaker 1: for this Josh, who the fuck are you? No? No,
- 42:33Speaker 1: buddy at lease run as you could have used this
- 42:37Speaker 1: money for better clothes. Alise. I mean, you know, like, girl,
- 42:40Speaker 1: I love you, no, but I I don't love you,
- 42:43Speaker 1: but you know I want the best for everyone involved.
- 42:45Speaker 1: And really what I want to say is like your
- 42:48Speaker 1: discipline and your diligence for you know, really trying to
- 42:51Speaker 1: showcase what is you know, a very attractive body that
- 42:55Speaker 1: is highly dressable. You are doing everyone, including us, but
- 43:00Speaker 1: mostly yourself a disservice. Not getting like a stylist. Girl,
- 43:03Speaker 1: go to fucking Neiman Marcus and get someone who's classy
- 43:08Speaker 1: and just get a couple of like outfits that look
- 43:12Speaker 1: like you think you are worth more than fashion nova
- 43:18Speaker 1: Like please go and then like see what it feels
- 43:22Speaker 1: like to have like some quality fabrics, And I wonder
- 43:26Speaker 1: if there is like maybe some sort of bridge with
- 43:29Speaker 1: literally feeling what it feels like to have actual quality
- 43:34Speaker 1: garments and materials on you. And then sitting in that
- 43:38Speaker 1: and be like, I wonder what it feel like to
- 43:40Speaker 1: also be surrounded by quality people in my life, like suitors.
- 43:46Speaker 1: If Elise could get like a financially stable suit on
- 43:50Speaker 1: her body, could she also find a financially stable suitor.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Now I'm not going to say you have to have
- 43:57Speaker 1: like rich fabrics to like date rich men, but I
- 44:00Speaker 1: think that if you play the game, I'm assuming that
- 44:03Speaker 1: Elise wants to play in Miami of like dating wealthy men,
- 44:08Speaker 1: I think that there's also like a yeah, I think
- 44:10Speaker 1: there's something to what I'm saying, but mostly I'm gonna
- 44:13Speaker 1: say this, I don't want to make it around men,
- 44:15Speaker 1: even though I do think that the point of Lease
- 44:17Speaker 1: is that she is man centric. If she can you know,
- 44:19Speaker 1: decent deep she could decenter men in her life and
- 44:22Speaker 1: put the focused on herself, then she can you know,
- 44:24Speaker 1: I would hope to dress and you know, with clothes
- 44:28Speaker 1: of like someone who's you know, thirty five and like
- 44:31Speaker 1: doesn't need to be you know, in house of CB
- 44:33Speaker 1: all the goddamn time. You know, girl, Like, where were
- 44:38Speaker 1: you for the quiet luxury movement? You know, like do
- 44:41Speaker 1: you I don't know any part of like how Margot
- 44:45Speaker 1: Robbie dresses. Is that like that does that like feel
- 44:48Speaker 1: good to you or something? You know? I don't know.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, Margo. What Robbi always dresses well,
- 44:54Speaker 1: but like there's just we're not seeing, you know, like
- 44:57Speaker 1: the same pashmina titty shirt, you know. Okay, So in
- 45:01Speaker 1: this scene where we get fun scene, we get a
- 45:04Speaker 1: fun scene where she again is trying to make it
- 45:08Speaker 1: up to him, you know, and the way that she
- 45:10Speaker 1: is doing it, which is like throwing money at him
- 45:12Speaker 1: in this airbnb. But she also is like, I'm going
- 45:14Speaker 1: to cook, and her version of cooking is like a
- 45:16Speaker 1: packaged Caesar salad. Nothing says I don't care about anything
- 45:22Speaker 1: more in this world than a package salad. Salad is
- 45:25Speaker 1: the easiest thing to make. You don't cook it, you
- 45:27Speaker 1: just get different things and report in the bowl. Now,
- 45:31Speaker 1: I guess the hard part about a good salad is
- 45:35Speaker 1: a fresh dressing. But my god, if you just have
- 45:37Speaker 1: a little nutribullet, not even that. If you can just
- 45:40Speaker 1: get a tall glass my loves and get olive oil,
- 45:45Speaker 1: lemon salt and pepper, dijon mustard and a little honey,
- 45:48Speaker 1: then what the f are you doing with any sort
- 45:51Speaker 1: of package dressing disgusting. I don't know what it is
- 45:54Speaker 1: about package dressing. It's like the oils, the way that
- 45:57Speaker 1: package dressings, the way that the emulsifi come in with
- 46:01Speaker 1: the oils, and and the fact that the dressing ends
- 46:03Speaker 1: of becoming like super shiny to me is grotesque. And
- 46:09Speaker 1: it's like maybe like maybe a sensory thing, but it's
- 46:11Speaker 1: like I can't eat it. I would not be able
- 46:13Speaker 1: to eat. She can't eat it either, mostly because she
- 46:15Speaker 1: opens that packet of Caesar honey and I mean it
- 46:17Speaker 1: just becomes like a full comshot. I mean it's all
- 46:20Speaker 1: over her. I mean she just is like, isn't it
- 46:23Speaker 1: up with the cameras? You know, But it's funny, it's lighthearted.
- 46:28Speaker 1: He's into it, of course, you know, and like she
- 46:32Speaker 1: This is how you can tell that Elise is fun
- 46:34Speaker 1: Like Alise wants to have a good time, and like
- 46:37Speaker 1: to Josh's credit, so does he. You know, like he
- 46:39Speaker 1: sits in that fun time every day, every night. Maybe
- 46:42Speaker 1: a little too long, but like you could see a
- 46:44Speaker 1: scene where Anna would be like cooking for javaon maybe
- 46:47Speaker 1: and like trying to be lighthearted or funny too or whatever.
- 46:49Speaker 1: But your Javon would just said there the whole time
- 46:51Speaker 1: being like where Aliset Josh is engaging with Elise. So
- 46:56Speaker 1: now she does the other thing where she's like, I
- 46:58Speaker 1: gotta see it. This pasta is out, so I'm gonna
- 47:00Speaker 1: throw it at the wall. Now we're like, girl, you're
- 47:03Speaker 1: gonna pay the fucking cleaning for this airbnb. Could you
- 47:06Speaker 1: imagine being the homeowners of this gorgeous airbnb with like
- 47:10Speaker 1: a hot tub pool and is watching just like ross
- 47:13Speaker 1: pasta is being thrown at like the higher parts of
- 47:15Speaker 1: your wall. I'd be like, good, that'll be one thousand dollars.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I mean, it's just yeah anyway, So she also, like
- 47:24Speaker 1: you know, isn't that much of a cook. So it's
- 47:26Speaker 1: like the pasta that she makes, it has a bunch
- 47:28Speaker 1: of her hair in it. You know. God, I'd be like, babe,
- 47:32Speaker 1: can we just order pizza. There's just not any way
- 47:34Speaker 1: I would eat anything that she's cooked. But they get
- 47:39Speaker 1: into a hot tub, and now here is where a
- 47:42Speaker 1: lot happens. So I had said early on that I
- 47:45Speaker 1: thought it was so crazy that we had never talked
- 47:48Speaker 1: about his son with her, or like hardly any that
- 47:50Speaker 1: he had talked about his son and they really don't
- 47:52Speaker 1: have a lot of like what looks like personal conversations.
- 47:55Speaker 1: But we get a flashback that this actually did happen,
- 47:58Speaker 1: that she at one point was like, I don't know
- 47:59Speaker 1: how'm gonna leave with meeting your son, and he's like, well,
- 48:01Speaker 1: I don't know how you think you're gonna meet my son.
- 48:02Speaker 1: You're crazy, And he's like, just kidding, No, I'll let
- 48:05Speaker 1: you FaceTime him. And then we get the story of
- 48:07Speaker 1: how sad he is because the son's no longer with
- 48:09Speaker 1: this with him all the time and you know, love
- 48:10Speaker 1: bity Blue blahady blue. And then Ali says something that like,
- 48:15Speaker 1: especially if you're a female, you're like, no, he's crying
- 48:19Speaker 1: right because like his family's not together and he feels
- 48:21Speaker 1: like a shit person, and you know, he really has
- 48:23Speaker 1: to get his own life, like gather that's his own
- 48:24Speaker 1: due diligence, and he would resent anyone who try to
- 48:27Speaker 1: like do it for him or help him. And the
- 48:29Speaker 1: truth of the matter is you can't do it. But
- 48:30Speaker 1: she says, I want to help you. No, I want
- 48:34Speaker 1: to help make you feel like you're back together. You can't.
- 48:39Speaker 1: You can't fix someone, fix their life, make their life better.
- 48:43Speaker 1: You can't make them happy, you can't distract them. You
- 48:46Speaker 1: can't wildly change someone's emotional outlook or like the responsibilities
- 48:52Speaker 1: in their life. And I think there's two sides, Like
- 48:54Speaker 1: you know, there's like there are this is genderless. There
- 48:58Speaker 1: are a lot of people that want to save someone,
- 48:59Speaker 1: right Like if you're like this is in the very nineties,
- 49:01Speaker 1: but like remember when you would say, like this is
- 49:04Speaker 1: so gross, but you would be like a man. If
- 49:05Speaker 1: it was a man, you'd be like captain save a
- 49:06Speaker 1: ho or whatever, like you know, that kind of thing.
- 49:09Speaker 1: And then also there on the flip side, like and
- 49:12Speaker 1: this is I guess heterosexual, but you know probably at
- 49:16Speaker 1: this point whatever same for anyone dating anyone, but used
- 49:20Speaker 1: to be this captain save a whole thing was like
- 49:21Speaker 1: obviously man toward female. But also there was the thing
- 49:24Speaker 1: where like, you can't you know, mother someone, you can't
- 49:26Speaker 1: fix you know someone, And I'd be like something you
- 49:27Speaker 1: would say to a female who like you know, wants
- 49:30Speaker 1: to like take care and overly mother or whatever. And
- 49:33Speaker 1: that is honestly something I have dealt with too, because
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think that sometimes you want to fix someone and
- 49:40Speaker 1: sometimes people just want to have you hear them and
- 49:42Speaker 1: sometimes there is no fixing, and sometimes like the idea
- 49:47Speaker 1: that you have the power to do so almost further
- 49:52Speaker 1: separates the person from you, because if if you have
- 49:56Speaker 1: that power, that means they don't, and like the scales
- 49:59Speaker 1: are off, it's not even true they do have the power.
- 50:02Speaker 1: They actually are the only ones that have the power
- 50:03Speaker 1: to fix their own lives. Right, you can't do it
- 50:06Speaker 1: for anyone. But it's funny because if he already feels
- 50:08Speaker 1: less than, if he already feels emasculated, if he already
- 50:10Speaker 1: feels whatever he says to have her be like I
- 50:13Speaker 1: want to be the one that actually helps you fix
- 50:14Speaker 1: your life, then it really goes to show that like
- 50:17Speaker 1: she thinks she can, which she can't, and that she
- 50:20Speaker 1: thinks that he can't, which that's true. It's like the
- 50:22Speaker 1: psychology of that is interesting to me, right anyway, So
- 50:27Speaker 1: you know, don't do a girl, don't do it girl
- 50:31Speaker 1: like that. TikTok okay um. So let's move on to
- 50:36Speaker 1: Laura and beer cant So he is sitting, honey, pensively
- 50:40Speaker 1: by the water, I mean, existentially having a fucking full
- 50:43Speaker 1: on crisis. I'm still here, is what he says, which
- 50:45Speaker 1: for any Sondheim Follies fan, or for any person who's
- 50:48Speaker 1: ever seen Postcards from the Edge, good times and thumb times.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I've seen them all, and my dear, I'm still and
- 51:00Speaker 1: that is what that made me feel like so hardcore. Yes,
- 51:04Speaker 1: for my non musical theater nerds, God bless you, I
- 51:07Speaker 1: hope that you've had full lives. There is like this
- 51:10Speaker 1: great song, like I said, from Sondheim's Follies, which is
- 51:13Speaker 1: a weird ass musical, but for some reason, that one
- 51:15Speaker 1: weird ass musical has a bunch of great songs. I'm
- 51:18Speaker 1: still here as one of them. Broadway Baby is one
- 51:21Speaker 1: of them. Who's that woman? Great? Whre's so many great
- 51:26Speaker 1: songs from Follies? Right, kind of like Godspell, You're like,
- 51:28Speaker 1: what a weird play, but what great music anyway. And
- 51:32Speaker 1: then for the movie Postcards from the Edge with Meryl
- 51:36Speaker 1: Streep where you know she's carry Fisher in the movie,
- 51:40Speaker 1: please go watch it if I know you've already watched it,
- 51:42Speaker 1: because I know my target demographic is people like me
- 51:45Speaker 1: and older my age, God bless One of the best
- 51:47Speaker 1: scenes is you know, Sherlin McLaine at like a fancy
- 51:52Speaker 1: party singing that song in a like to a piano,
- 51:56Speaker 1: and it's it's a song of survival, and it's a
- 52:03Speaker 1: song about age, and it's a song about like being
- 52:08Speaker 1: that kind of like you cannot fucking keep a good
- 52:12Speaker 1: person down, that like I'm just going to keep going
- 52:16Speaker 1: like a terminator, you know, like whatever's happened, I've been
- 52:21Speaker 1: like dealt whatever cards, you just cannot stop me. And
- 52:26Speaker 1: alone that sentiment is. So it's such an awesome, hopeful
- 52:32Speaker 1: sentiment because I think that, you know, sometimes when bad
- 52:36Speaker 1: things happen, right like and surely we've had them, there's
- 52:40Speaker 1: this idea of like what now or what next? Or
- 52:43Speaker 1: will I come back from this? And the truth of
- 52:46Speaker 1: the matter is, and I mean this, there is nothing
- 52:49Speaker 1: that you cannot come back from because like there's a
- 52:52Speaker 1: resilience in the human spirit. It's like built into like
- 52:55Speaker 1: DNA code. And so when we see people that just
- 52:59Speaker 1: keep chugging a lot, they just keep going, it's inspirational
- 53:02Speaker 1: because it speaks to a part of us that like
- 53:05Speaker 1: we want for ourselves, which is at the end of
- 53:07Speaker 1: the day, to operate somewhat, to operate in a way
- 53:11Speaker 1: that is self survival because you love yourself and because
- 53:14Speaker 1: this is it and like, nothing can take away that
- 53:17Speaker 1: from you. You can't. You know, the world, no one knows.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Certainly experience or situation can take away your power, or
- 53:23Speaker 1: can take away your life for us, or can take
- 53:25Speaker 1: away whatever your magic. You're light, whatever it is, and
- 53:28Speaker 1: if you have the kind of spirit that just fucking
- 53:32Speaker 1: keeps going, then it's like instilled in you. That's why
- 53:36Speaker 1: I love the song I'm Still Here. It's such a
- 53:38Speaker 1: great song anyway, But here we are, beer Cuns, you know,
- 53:40Speaker 1: he's still there, and then you know, Laura, you know,
- 53:43Speaker 1: comes up and at this point I'm like, Laura, are
- 53:45Speaker 1: you wearing White Islander? It looks like she's like just
- 53:47Speaker 1: like for some reason doing like a full Trixie motel,
- 53:50Speaker 1: just like White island Er moment just right there, honey. Okay,
- 53:53Speaker 1: So you know he's hot on the heels of this
- 53:56Speaker 1: like Michael thing where Michael was like, why are you
- 53:58Speaker 1: so such a bitchy bitch to me? And beer CON's like,
- 54:00Speaker 1: why are you in love with my woman? And Michael's like,
- 54:02Speaker 1: oh what, no, no, no, no, I'm not in love with her?
- 54:05Speaker 1: When made you think that? And Michael's like her, you,
- 54:08Speaker 1: I mean you being here and mostly her and Michael
- 54:12Speaker 1: was like, oh, not she, buddy, she liked me and
- 54:15Speaker 1: of course beer con here's that. And it feels, you know,
- 54:18Speaker 1: betrayed by that. Now some of these things he says
- 54:20Speaker 1: were like all right, buddy, So he's like, she lied.
- 54:23Speaker 1: She lied to me about this. I can't believe it.
- 54:25Speaker 1: If she lies about this, what is she gonna lie
- 54:26Speaker 1: about her? Like, buddy, well, fifty thousand dollars in debt.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I mean, was that a lie? Or is that something
- 54:30Speaker 1: you just didn't tell her? I mean, it's a lot.
- 54:32Speaker 1: So when she shows up, she is upset that this
- 54:38Speaker 1: piece of information has been found out, and it feels
- 54:41Speaker 1: like she's upset about it because it tears down like
- 54:46Speaker 1: the fantasy that she has had, which feels like Laura's
- 54:50Speaker 1: whole journey was like a sort of toxic need to
- 54:56Speaker 1: feel wanted. By creating the somewhat literary, you know, love
- 55:04Speaker 1: triangle that we've been knowing from, especially if you're you know,
- 55:07Speaker 1: like me, huh a check off lover, that she is
- 55:11Speaker 1: at the center of two men fighting over her. Now
- 55:13Speaker 1: she's got the first person to want that, you know,
- 55:16Speaker 1: she's not the first person to enjoy like people, you know,
- 55:19Speaker 1: like fighting over like her and wanting like wild displays
- 55:24Speaker 1: of you know, lust and love and whatnot, and to
- 55:27Speaker 1: sort of feel like a tinge of I'm a commodity,
- 55:31Speaker 1: a wanted commodity, because you know, I'm creating turmoil for
- 55:36Speaker 1: other people in my life to think that, you know,
- 55:39Speaker 1: at the same time, it's not just her. It's like
- 55:41Speaker 1: I think kind of like remember how Javon kept being
- 55:44Speaker 1: like with Anna, like you're getting too comfortable, Like you know,
- 55:46Speaker 1: I want you to think that I can just cheat
- 55:47Speaker 1: on you at any time. It's kind of like that
- 55:49Speaker 1: where you're just like you want to destabilize the other
- 55:56Speaker 1: person in your relationship to not feel secure with you
- 56:00Speaker 1: you why obvious reasons, because you don't feel secure or
- 56:04Speaker 1: because this kind of need to feel like jealousy is
- 56:09Speaker 1: like a loud enough feeling that sort of like takes
- 56:12Speaker 1: away what is like actual human connection and love. Does
- 56:16Speaker 1: that make sense? It's like and it's also like playing
- 56:19Speaker 1: at the idea of something like Laura really wanted to
- 56:22Speaker 1: create like a triangle with her in the middle where
- 56:24Speaker 1: like beer Kana Michael will be like you you and
- 56:26Speaker 1: she can be like it's just so hard my pickle
- 56:28Speaker 1: loving my pickleball loving bff and my you know, tall, dark,
- 56:32Speaker 1: mysterious person in debt, you know, like what picks and
- 56:36Speaker 1: which what am I going to choose? And it isn't
- 56:39Speaker 1: that right? Like Michael's like, oh I didn't I didn't
- 56:41Speaker 1: want her. No, she literally threw herself at me and
- 56:44Speaker 1: I was like absolutely no. This is a confusing thing.
- 56:47Speaker 1: And I want to give Laura some grace because Laura
- 56:49Speaker 1: says it this way. Laura says that they were drinking
- 56:52Speaker 1: and they were on the couch, and she says that
- 56:54Speaker 1: they were laying on top of each other and that
- 56:57Speaker 1: she went in for a kiss, like, Michael, were you
- 57:00Speaker 1: Was she laying on top of you? Because the truth
- 57:02Speaker 1: of the matter is she's like, I think you're in
- 57:04Speaker 1: love with me. The way she says it is this,
- 57:07Speaker 1: so make go back? So okay. So after I'm so sorry,
- 57:12Speaker 1: she has a conversation with beer Can where he's sitting
- 57:14Speaker 1: by the river and he tells her what he's you know,
- 57:16Speaker 1: what he found out, and she's upset and he's like,
- 57:18Speaker 1: I wish I never met you. And she's like, oh well,
- 57:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna leave and he's like good, okay, leave, and
- 57:22Speaker 1: then she's like ah. So she goes to Michael and
- 57:24Speaker 1: she's like would you tell him that? For you know.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Michael's like, I'm sorry the truth and she's like, well,
- 57:28Speaker 1: what'd you say it like that? I thought you said
- 57:30Speaker 1: the truth because I think that you did it this
- 57:32Speaker 1: sabotage my relationship because you love me so much. And
- 57:34Speaker 1: he's like, oh my god, no, I don't love you
- 57:37Speaker 1: like that. Now I have to say it to your face.
- 57:39Speaker 1: How awkward. And she's like, well, he's not the only
- 57:42Speaker 1: person that thinks that you're in love with me, which
- 57:44Speaker 1: is like, yeah, you know, I get that you think
- 57:47Speaker 1: I'm in love with you. And here's the thing. She
- 57:50Speaker 1: could be like, well you came here and he's like
- 57:51Speaker 1: yeah because the producer has told me to. Also, because
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know, you kept telling me that you didn't know
- 57:56Speaker 1: what was happening, and he might be like really fucking
- 57:58Speaker 1: you up? And you have no one else in your
- 58:00Speaker 1: life but me, your bff, and so you used what
- 58:02Speaker 1: like my my friendliness and like my like you like
- 58:06Speaker 1: stirred me up with feelings of you not being safe
- 58:09Speaker 1: and you like needing a second opinion, and then told
- 58:13Speaker 1: him that It's like this guy just wants to come.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I don't know why he wants to come. You know,
- 58:18Speaker 1: like Laura is caught in this and it's I mean,
- 58:21Speaker 1: it's not a good look for Laura. Laura Godless has
- 58:24Speaker 1: gone through a health journey and she's lost a bunch
- 58:26Speaker 1: of a bunch of weight. And I understand that this
- 58:29Speaker 1: really you can be on my YouTube channel look Back
- 58:31Speaker 1: my Loves. I understand that, and so it This is
- 58:35Speaker 1: my now expert opinion of someone who has lost like
- 58:38Speaker 1: over one hundred and twenty pounds and spent most of
- 58:41Speaker 1: their life bigger. And if you like, there's a lot
- 58:44Speaker 1: of people who met me in the past five years
- 58:46Speaker 1: where I if they see a picture of me from
- 58:48Speaker 1: like ten years ago, they're like, who is that? And
- 58:49Speaker 1: I'm like, well, it takes all time. It takes all
- 58:52Speaker 1: kinds to make a world. You never know where someone
- 58:55Speaker 1: goes and where they're gonna come from. Laura, it seems
- 59:00Speaker 1: like she had lived a life where she wanted a
- 59:02Speaker 1: sort of romance that she only saw in fairy tales
- 59:06Speaker 1: and stuff. And I think that also, when you feel insecure,
- 59:10Speaker 1: there's a way where you maybe think that everyone's having that,
- 59:14Speaker 1: like everyone has like romance in that kind of way
- 59:17Speaker 1: and maybe you know, I know that there are definitely
- 59:20Speaker 1: people that have people fighting over them. That's a true thing.
- 59:24Speaker 1: And I think that Laura secretly has wanted to feel
- 59:28Speaker 1: wildly wanted, wildly sexually, you know, like irresistible, wildly hot,
- 59:35Speaker 1: attractive and or like you know, just like needed by
- 59:39Speaker 1: men that for her own self esteem. She like tried
- 59:43Speaker 1: to concoct that storyline and it's like disintegrating in front
- 59:49Speaker 1: of her. And at this point, now the streets of
- 59:53Speaker 1: none of the fiance know that her and Michael are
- 59:56Speaker 1: not friends anymore, and she has like levied you know,
- 59:59Speaker 1: like angry accusations at him, and for some reason, he's
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: really good friends I think with Molly. I don't even
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: understand why. I don't know if that happened before. It's like,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I think this is all going to come out during
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the tell all or after the tell all, but it's
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: really confusing. So you know, Michael's yeah, I mean, I'm
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: so sorry if I don't love you, but I had
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: made that clear then, and now that I realize that,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: like you tried to make it seem like I was
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: in live with you, now I Michael has to maybe
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: do some accountability of what he has done to lead
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Laura on. Because Michael seems to be wildly at least
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: emotionally invested in Laura, and I think that there is
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: like a part of a human that also has to
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: be like accountable to this. If you are best friends
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: with someone and you know that they've gone on like
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a journey of themselves of like loving themselves or not
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: loving themselves based on the way they look, and Michael has,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: you know, definitely been open about some vulnerabilities he has
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: because of you know, the ways that he looks, like
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: these are two people that you know feel a certain
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: way and you know, I think have also felt like
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: a rejection. Then he has to have the sensitivity that
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: if a year ago, if Laura tried to kiss him,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: then for him to be so emotionally invested in Laura
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a year later is fucking with her? Why is Michael
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: fucking with her? If Michael doesn't love Laura romantically, why
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: is Michael fucking with Laura like he does? And he
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: could be No, I'm just a really good guy and
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: that was my really good friend. And it's like psychologically,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you know this woman has tried to kiss you. You
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: are getting something Michael from being around someone like Laura,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: who in the back of your mind you're likes she
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: wants me, and it makes you feel good because I
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: think there are times in which you don't feel like
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: women want you. So you've kept Laura. You'll go play pickleball,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: or you'll get drunk with Laura and then just like
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: watch her look at you and you know, with like
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: wanting eyes, and then you'll probably go home and be like, well, Lise,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I have Laura, and is that right. I think that
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: we all know, like the there's like the subtle emotional
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: energy that you are giving off, and it's the same
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: reason why ber Khan's mad at Laura. Laura can be like,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I don't understand why you're mad at me. I tried
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to kisshim a year ago. It's not a big deal.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: And beer Coan's like, no, your emotional energy was that
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you wanted him a year ago and you weren't honest
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: about it, right, Just like Rick's emotional energy with rix
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: X was that when rix X texted him while at
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Tricia's dad's home that he never really loved her. His
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: emotional energetic response to her was disrespectful, was not right,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and he knew it right, it's the same Michael, what
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: the fuck are you doing with Laura? Then she's not
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: wrong when she's like, what are you? Why are you here? Now?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I think that she knows two things. I think that
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: it's an unclear situation. I think that she wants him
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to love her. I think that she was given a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: mixed signal, and instead of like clarifying that for herself
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: in like an emotional responsible way, she was like, only
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: too happy to facilitate this love triangle that ends ends
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: up looking making her look bad and somehow making beer
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Con look good. So anyway, God bless so. So then
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: basically she's like, Okay, well I don't know what to do.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna call beer Con And so she does and
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: she's like, Hi, can we talk? And he's like no.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: And she's like, okay, well can I come back to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the airbnb that I'm paying for? And he's like no, No,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I want some space. She's like, oh, okay, we were
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: led to believe that she's paying right for their place
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to live. Now me and you we're like this this
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: conversation makes me feel like no production is because I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: cannot imagine a space between this earth and the next
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: where I am paying for an airbnb and I get
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: in a fight with someone who lives in that country
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: who tells me I can't go back to the place
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I'm paying for in a foreign country. Nobody, you leave
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: if you don't want to talk to me, that's that's
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: your choice. Pack your bags and go to one of
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: your Sheisha friends' homes, smoke it all night and gamble buddy. Anyway, Uh, weird, weird, weird, weird, weird,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: weird to me weird, and I don't night, can't condone it. Okay,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: So let's move on to do we have? I think
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: we have Lisa and Daniel left my goodness, gracious, yeah,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I've talked about them. Okay, yeah, we have Lisa and Daniel.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Guess what, honey, it's the morning of her leaving, and
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Lisa is back to Lisa is back to business. Lisa's
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: back to square one, where she has rid herself of
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: all the lies, and she's back to having someone devour her,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: except that it's his penis devouring her vagina, and really
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: what she wants come close because you don't want me
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: to say it twice, so you're gonna hear it once.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: She wants him to go down on her and eat
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: every morsel of Nina. That's what she wants devoured. She
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: wants downstairs eating up honey. I mean like it's it's
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: like it's a package. Sees her dressing salad. You know,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: she wants it all over his face. You, Chris, stop it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: It's not my fault. So anyway, so it's not my fault. Okay,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: So it is. So she wakes up and she's like, Babe,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: you did it, you really, you know, gave me what
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I wanted with the dick and everything, but here's something else.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: You promised me that you would go down on me.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: And he's like, oh, I know, I said that, but
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I don't like to do I don't do it. Then
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: he says a whole bunch of things. A. I don't
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: like to do it. I don't do it. B I
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: don't know how to do it. And then he says
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: and I believe that. And then then he says, I'm
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a guy, you know, I can only give her what
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I got, my dick. But he also says that she's
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: gone down on him, and I want to be like,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: well all she then, if all you have is your dick,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: then all that she has is you know, her vagina,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: because you both definitely have moles and tongues attached. I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: don't know why I said mouths like that. I hate
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Anyway, he doesn't want to go
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: down on her, And you know what, I'm very happy
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: that she was like, oh no, I require it. It's
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: part of the requirements for riding this ride. You have
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: to be above fifty two inches or whatever most rollercoasters say,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: and you have to like eat the box hungrily. You
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: better enjoy it and on a timely fucking basis. Yeah,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: when Lisa stands up for herself, it's the best parts,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: besides the fact that she really can dress herself. Okay,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: So then she does this so great. She's like, here's
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the thing, and I'm gonna get back to America. I'm
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: gonna have to like use the money that I've been spending.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I don't go to send you like clothes, clothes money
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: to like pay for a lawyer and immigration. Da da,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: dada da. She's like, so hear me when I say that,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I will not be able to send you any more
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: money because every penny that I have is going towards immigration.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: When you're getting to America. And his face is not amused,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fine. You can
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: tell me that I'm not gonna you won't be able
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to send any money. But what I'm telling you is
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I'm still going to ask me. You have to send
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: it to me. It really is a conversation where she's like,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I won't be able to send you anything else for money,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: so stop asking. And he's like, yes, but I'm going
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to keep asking and please send it to me. And
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: then I don't know how they decide to end that conversation.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: It feels like both of them just say their point
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and then she's like, okay, well I'm just gonna listen.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I'm going to showcase that I definitely know how to
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: put that hat wrap on. Now. I mean, she gets
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: in full regalia. Meanwhile he gets in a shirt that
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: says I have a wife, so you know, please keep away.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: She started not being able to wrap her hair up, honey,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: and I mean she is now doing full fucking what
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: looks like roses. Is this one piece or did she
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: wrap it this way? You know? Good for her, I'm
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: gonna give her some grace also here. So when they
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: go to the airport. He cries. She cries, for sure,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: he cries. We're like, oh my gosh, he's crying. And
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: then he says, yeah, you know, I I hope she
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: doesn't change her mind. She can get back there and
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: change her mind about getting me the visa. And we're like, oh, yeah, Danielle, okay,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: because this is not something you say if you're crying
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: over someone leaving. I'm going to miss her so much.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I can't. I don't want to see her again. I
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: love her. I've just enjoyed being with her so much,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: like her smells, her tastes, you know, like when she
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: even pooped the bed. I missed it. I loved it
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: so much. I can't. I can't stand being without it.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I'm crying because, yeah, my soulmate's leaving. Yeah. He's like,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I'm just crying because like what if she changes her
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: mind about the visa, not the marriage, not her life
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: with you, the visa. Yeah, He's just like, ah, yeah,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I just love that she's doing that for me so
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: we don't have to do it for myself. I love
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: that she's getting me to America so I don't have
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: to worry about it. I love that for her and me.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: That's why I like her, that she does this one
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: thing for me. Who it's hard. It's hard to hear,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: you know, it's hard watch, you know, but it's easy
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: to talk about. Babes. Thank you so much for listening.
