- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 3: These are things that are bugging you, our dear friends
- 0:10Speaker 3: of the program, we like to help you out with them.
- 0:14Speaker 3: So when you send things that must go to us
- 0:17Speaker 3: and we read them on the air, we put our
- 0:20Speaker 3: minds to it. We wish really hard that these things
- 0:23Speaker 3: will disappear from your life, and I think it helps
- 0:25Speaker 3: sometimes it might make you feel better anyway. So if
- 0:28Speaker 3: you have a thing that must go, just put it
- 0:29Speaker 3: in an email radio from hell at x ninety six
- 0:31Speaker 3: dot com and send it off to us. Put mustco
- 0:34Speaker 3: in the subject line. Let's see I'll start today. I
- 0:38Speaker 3: have one of my own news shows when they do this, So,
- 0:45Speaker 3: the anchor of the news show says, the prime interest
- 0:48Speaker 3: rate is likely to fall later on today, perhaps by
- 0:50Speaker 3: as much as two percent. That's according to the head
- 0:53Speaker 3: of the Fed. Bob Nelson has the story. That's right, John,
- 0:57Speaker 3: the head of the FED, said today that the prime
- 0:58Speaker 3: interest rate is likely to fall, perhaps by as much
- 1:01Speaker 3: as two percent. Please there more details there might be,
- 1:06Speaker 3: but you don't need to repeat that.
- 1:09Speaker 2: That just drives me crazy.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Well, I blame John for that. John, Yeah, the guy
- 1:16Speaker 4: who introduced him. Oh, that took his story he knew
- 1:20Speaker 4: that that's what the story was going to write, but
- 1:23Speaker 4: the guy who introduced him stole.
- 1:24Speaker 3: It from the Thunder's and it's probably somebody who's writing
- 1:28Speaker 3: it for them.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's that's what must go.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Anyway, let's see this one says, uh, Now, this opening
- 1:34Speaker 3: line is kind of confusing. I'm going to read it
- 1:36Speaker 3: as it's written, but I think it says what must
- 1:40Speaker 3: go is my new officemate being so nice and authentic
- 1:44Speaker 3: that I can't seem to say her the minor things
- 1:47Speaker 3: that bug me in our new shared space. I think
- 1:49Speaker 3: what she meant is I can't bear to tell her
- 1:51Speaker 3: the things about She's very nice, she's very authentic, and
- 1:54Speaker 3: I can't bear to tell her the things about her
- 1:56Speaker 3: that bug me. So here they are a very loud
- 2:00Speaker 3: keyboard that is teeth chattering when she bangs types all day,
- 2:05Speaker 3: and the keyboard is pink, with big gys speaking to her,
- 2:09Speaker 3: speaking her to do list out loud to herself, loud
- 2:14Speaker 3: talking on the phone. And then she wants to tell
- 2:16Speaker 3: me the conversation that I couldn't help but overhear the
- 2:20Speaker 3: deliberate laugh snort that is supposed to convey to the
- 2:24Speaker 3: other person she is trying to be funny. The absurd
- 2:27Speaker 3: amount of decorations now on her side of the office
- 2:31Speaker 3: and desks. Please make these things go away, or give
- 2:34Speaker 3: me the courage to risk telling her these peeves. I
- 2:37Speaker 3: would go back to the opening line. It says here
- 2:39Speaker 3: she's very nice and authentic. I don't think she's very
- 2:43Speaker 3: nice if she does all that stuff. This one says
- 2:46Speaker 3: you can use my name. What really must go is
- 2:49Speaker 3: listening people listening to music or watching videos in public
- 2:52Speaker 3: places without headphones. It happens everywhere, the airport, the doctor's office,
- 2:56Speaker 3: public transportation.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Enjoy your audio privately.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Pleased, normalize this that's from doctor Mike. And then finally,
- 3:04Speaker 3: this one page is stuck there. It is good morning,
- 3:09Speaker 3: lords and lady. You may use my name. It's Ruth.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I am fourteen, almost fifteen. I have a few things
- 3:15Speaker 3: that must go. One when you go to a sandwich
- 3:18Speaker 3: and soup restaurant and you see the option choice of
- 3:22Speaker 3: sandwich with soup of the day, and there are no
- 3:25Speaker 3: other options for soup, and then you check what the
- 3:29Speaker 3: soup of the day is and it's the most disgusting
- 3:32Speaker 3: thing you've ever heard of. This must go. And number
- 3:36Speaker 3: two my dad using Gina's full name instead of saying
- 3:40Speaker 3: Jesus Christ apparently so, instead of so, instead of swearing
- 3:46Speaker 3: instead when he when he wants to say, he says.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Gina Barbary really apparently. Wow, I'm gonna start doing that
- 3:54Speaker 2: Gena Barberry. All right, Kerry, Uh you go? Chin?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Okay, we save the phrase it broke my heart for
- 4:04Speaker 1: something really big, really tragic. Breaking your heart is like
- 4:09Speaker 1: that should be horrible if people use it like, oh,
- 4:12Speaker 1: they broke my heart. They had you know, it broke
- 4:15Speaker 1: my heart or the soup choice today it's broke my
- 4:19Speaker 1: heart broke. Let's save broke my heart for big things.
- 4:22Speaker 1: How about let's see this from Katie, not our Katie,
- 4:27Speaker 1: different Katie. One thing that must go with strangers who
- 4:30Speaker 1: stand way too close to you in line. I was
- 4:32Speaker 1: shopping this weekend and I always leave extra room in
- 4:35Speaker 1: front of me, hoping the person behind me takes the hint. Nope,
- 4:38Speaker 1: the lady behind me was still too close. Do we
- 4:40Speaker 1: not remember COVID it's cold seasoned? People back off. Also,
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'm with Gina and no Christmas till after Thanksgiving. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: just decorated for Thanksgiving. Last night, I decorated for Thanksgiving
- 4:50Speaker 1: this weekend too. Thanks for letting you listen.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Oh let's see. This is from Mabel.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Dear lords, typing on behalf of my beautiful golden pe.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Here is her thing that must go. The cranky lady
- 5:04Speaker 1: at the dog park, please stop yelling at me. I'm
- 5:06Speaker 1: just a puppy, let's see. And finally, this my thing
- 5:12Speaker 1: that must go is when you're eating nuggets. I can
- 5:14Speaker 1: identify with this, okay right away, something dippable and you
- 5:18Speaker 1: go to open the sauce cup and it rips in
- 5:20Speaker 1: a weird way so not all of it comes off
- 5:22Speaker 1: all at once, and you sit there picking at it,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and then you end up getting sauce all over your
- 5:26Speaker 1: fingers trying to open the cup.
- 5:28Speaker 2: This is a big problem. We need to do something better.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Technology is what we need. Okay. This a few from
- 5:36Speaker 2: the foot of Mount Doom your boom.
- 5:39Speaker 4: When watching cooking videos. People that use metal utensils in
- 5:44Speaker 4: their nonstick pans that'll scratch your coating and leach all
- 5:48Speaker 4: kinds of who knows what in pieces to the pan
- 5:51Speaker 4: in your food. Also delivery men that deliver your twin
- 5:54Speaker 4: mattress to the wrong address so you have to play
- 5:57Speaker 4: detective and use the picture of the proof of delivery
- 6:00Speaker 4: to compare the houses in the neighborhood to see which
- 6:03Speaker 4: of your neighbors got it, and then having to carry
- 6:05Speaker 4: it home because it's too close to drive.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Oh that's horrible.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that was.
- 6:12Speaker 2: My day.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Also remembering to take an Adville when I have an
- 6:18Speaker 4: ache and being happy that we actually have some advilla
- 6:20Speaker 4: in the house, but seeing that it expired six years ago.
- 6:24Speaker 1: All right, you don't take a lot of advil.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Austin.
- 6:29Speaker 4: This is a feel free to use my name. Hotels
- 6:32Speaker 4: often post a sign that says, to save water and
- 6:35Speaker 4: energy costs, please hang your towel if you plan.
- 6:38Speaker 2: To reuse it. So I try to do the right thing.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I hang it up. What must go is housekeeping just
- 6:44Speaker 4: replaces those towels anyway. The amount of time it takes
- 6:47Speaker 4: for oh, this is a separate one. The amount of
- 6:49Speaker 4: time it takes for people to get off an airplane
- 6:52Speaker 4: must go. So many people as act as as if
- 6:55Speaker 4: it's a complete surprise when it's time to collect our
- 6:57Speaker 4: things and get off. This one not having a full
- 7:01Speaker 4: week off for Thanksgiving break. I'm a teacher, and I
- 7:04Speaker 4: know both students and teachers need a full week. My
- 7:07Speaker 4: district only has Wednesday through Friday. Let's see, Hello, Lords
- 7:12Speaker 4: Kelly of Eagle Mountain. What must go is the magazine
- 7:16Speaker 4: subscription from the previous owner of my home.
- 7:20Speaker 2: It's for fences. Could it at least have been something interesting?
- 7:26Speaker 2: How do I make it stop and me?
- 7:29Speaker 4: Shack's neighbor in Tawila writes, My thing that must go
- 7:33Speaker 4: is when a contestant plays Frank Chris Presents and responds
- 7:37Speaker 4: with anything when asked other than I'm fine, I'm just fine.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Thanks. That must go on the radio show.
