- 0:00Hello everybody, I think y 'all can see us. Oh
- 0:04my lordy We got some glitchery going on right
- 0:08now boys and girls We do we do I Don't see Manila
- 0:18I Don't see you. I think what's going on. I think
- 0:23that we are all Okay, so there I am I think that
- 0:28what it is is this So I think that we're all
- 0:32logged in as TMI, instead of being invited in
- 0:34as our normal Rumble channels. So there's Manila.
- 0:39Let me see if I can fix her. I wonder if we have
- 0:42multiple feeds. I don't know. I'm going to go
- 0:46look. I don't see multiple feeds. All right,
- 0:51good. I don't see any feed. Oh, I see. Yeah,
- 0:56no, we're on Rumble on YouTube. That's a blessing.
- 1:00Yeah, no, for sure. Now let's see how to get
- 1:02Manila on. Oh yeah, her. Hilarious. So what we
- 1:11need to do after this show is that we need to
- 1:14do a little dry run so we can. Clearly. Yeah,
- 1:18so we're sure how to use this. Where do you think
- 1:22Manila is? I don't know. She's like, how do I
- 1:26get on screen? There she is. OK. Oh, you're muted.
- 1:31Manila, you are muted. Just the way we like all
- 1:35our women. Facts. All right, guys, so we're trying
- 1:39out just using Rumble Studio. I think this is
- 1:45working. Hold on, let's... Yeah, it's working.
- 1:48Yeah, it's working. Yeah, it's working. It's
- 1:52all good. Yeah, looks great, too. Okay, can you
- 1:56guys all see it? You might want to change the
- 1:57layout so that we're side -by -side, but this
- 1:59is still cool. I don't know how to do that layout.
- 2:02That's too advanced for me. Also, we don't have,
- 2:04where's the, where's the stuff like the, the
- 2:08logos and stuff? I don't see any of that. That's,
- 2:10that's too advanced for me. Is that stuff not
- 2:12in the, I mean, I created the TMI room. It has
- 2:15all that shit. Did you create a new one? I don't
- 2:19know. I don't know. I was just setting it up.
- 2:27And you didn't even take 10 years to get your
- 2:29college degree like I did, so I don't understand.
- 2:32No, I did. I think I took like eight and a half,
- 2:34but that's in and out. That's a year and a half
- 2:36faster than me. I was in and out. OK, so I think
- 2:41you guys can hear us and see us. You should make
- 2:44Robbie and I both administrators so we can see
- 2:46what the fuck is going on. Well, the problem
- 2:49is that we are. Well, Ted, I think you're on
- 2:52the you're on your normal rumble. You're on the
- 2:54Ted Rawl account. Yeah, if you if you should
- 2:58be right. Yeah, ideally, because I'm on TMI.
- 3:02So what I will do is I will jump out and then
- 3:05I will come in as Putin, but then you just make
- 3:07me an administrator once. Yes. In the meantime,
- 3:10please make me an administrator. Click on me.
- 3:13You'll see little three little dots. Click me
- 3:16as a remote to moderator. Not moderator, administrator.
- 3:22It only says moderator. All right then, whatever.
- 3:24Okay, that works. Just give them all of the toys
- 3:28and I will go away then I'll come back. Okay,
- 3:30Robbie's gonna jump out and come back as Putinbot
- 3:33and then I can make that account a moderator.
- 3:36See, we're trying to figure out the glitches
- 3:39live because you guys can tell us in feedback,
- 3:42like you guys give us live feedback. So, does
- 3:46it look very clear? Oh, it looks fantastic. Oh,
- 3:50it's like night and day. Yeah, no question. Is
- 3:53it really? Yeah, it doesn't look like we're on
- 3:55VHS anymore. Okay. Oh, it's beautiful. Go ahead
- 3:59and jump out and I'll see if I can. You could
- 4:02probably read the titles on the books behind
- 4:04me. It's like amazing. Interesting. Okay. I think
- 4:08Robbie jumped out. Look. Robbie did jump out.
- 4:12Okay. Okay, but like definitely with us folks.
- 4:15Yeah, definitely when Robbie comes but see you
- 4:18didn't make me an Administrator did you I did
- 4:21though I did look Okay All right, let me add
- 4:27jaws in there Yeah, but I should be able to see
- 4:29the elements and stuff and I can't but all right.
- 4:31All right. It says make you a moderator That's
- 4:34all that's here. This is all right option. It
- 4:36gives me So anyway, we're I'll just say good
- 4:40morning. Good Tuesday to everybody out there.
- 4:43It's July 28th. I'm Manila Chan. That'd be Ted
- 4:46Raul. Producer Robbie is rejoining us after we
- 4:50figure out because normally we go through this
- 4:52roundabout way with a different program to run
- 4:56the show. Here comes Robbie. Let him in. There's
- 4:59Robbie. Promote to moderator. Okay. I think Robbie's
- 5:03in. You got to click on him. You got to click
- 5:07on him and let him in. Success. Okay, we should
- 5:11and what about the other TMI show wish we should
- 5:14kick out, right? No, that's fine because it still
- 5:18has to run the the that account has to run the
- 5:21program Yeah, it's cuz basically what we'll do
- 5:23is whenever we go to a new show. We'll just update
- 5:25this room every time This show doesn't but this
- 5:29room doesn't have the what happened to the bells
- 5:31and whistles. I don't know Rumble studio. Well,
- 5:34well because he I think no It's because you're
- 5:38on the wrong room. So So if you go into, so if
- 5:41you go into rumble, like I did a super cut last
- 5:44night as TMI super cuts, what you would have
- 5:48done is that you'd have clicked on that room
- 5:49that's already made, clicked on edit. Okay. Well,
- 5:53the listeners don't want to hear about this.
- 5:54Oh, that's what she did. She created a new room.
- 5:55She made a new room. That's why there's no elements.
- 5:57That's, you're not supposed to do that. Okay,
- 6:00well, none of you told me this yesterday. Well,
- 6:02that's like... Okay, we didn't know you were
- 6:05female. So, you know, yeah None of you told me
- 6:08this yesterday when I'm the so every day what
- 6:11you do is is very simple You always just edit
- 6:14the same room and which in this case is the great
- 6:17TMI supercut You always that's the room and it's
- 6:23always the same and you edit it every day And
- 6:25then the next day you just see yesterday's room
- 6:28and you edit that and then you schedule from
- 6:31there So I know how to do that part, but you
- 6:34guys can tell me that you have to reuse the room
- 6:36or whatever. Okay, well now you know. I'm trying.
- 6:39I'm trying this out. It's like a hotel room.
- 6:43I have the jaws in there. With all the spooge
- 6:47stains all over the sheets. So we do this right
- 6:51here live. 10 a .m. Monday through Friday. So
- 6:56please today somewhat less live than it should
- 6:59be. Yeah, it's not as lively. That's different
- 7:01Live is just a brain alive. That is well, okay
- 7:07before I jump to all the stories a couple of
- 7:09things that are worth mentioning Zelensky and
- 7:13BB both here where I am in Washington DC Yeah,
- 7:17you can you can keep them both as far as i'm
- 7:19concerned. They're they're both here and you
- 7:21know what? It is a cloudy ugly stormy looking
- 7:23day because they are both here and it's lindsey
- 7:27graham's first funeral service He will have tomorrow
- 7:31on wednesday. Wait, is he gonna be brought back
- 7:33to life and then killed again? What's the story?
- 7:35No, they're they're having the first funeral
- 7:37service Here today with all the dignitaries and
- 7:41whatever whoever else you know, whatever war
- 7:42hawks are gonna be at the National Cathedral
- 7:45or whatever. And then they're going to have his
- 7:49family services tomorrow in South Carolina. But
- 7:53Bibi and Zelensky will both take their time to
- 7:56meet with President Trump later after today's
- 8:00services. And Ted, we always talk about real
- 8:03estate on this show, right? We do. Guess who
- 8:07just moved into her luxury brand new mansion
- 8:11yesterday? Who? Former Vice President Kamala
- 8:16Harris has reportedly moved into her new mansion
- 8:19in the exclusive Malibu seaside community of
- 8:23Point Doom. D -U -M -E. Doom. She's in Malibu?
- 8:28Malibu. I guess this is one of the ones that
- 8:29didn't go down. Is she going to be surfing? Maybe
- 8:34she got a killer deal because every all the other
- 8:36properties around or burnt down. I don't know
- 8:39Yeah, and what didn't burn down it's gonna be
- 8:42washed away in the next tsunami Yes, or the cliff
- 8:45is gonna fall down or whatever. Yeah So census
- 8:49records show that over 80 % of Point Doom residents
- 8:52are white, with black Doomers making up less
- 8:55than 3 % of the population. On a national level,
- 8:59roughly 14 % are black. Kamala's move does not
- 9:02change the racial demographics of Malibu. She's
- 9:07not black at all. She's as black as I am. She's
- 9:11as black as Clovis. She ran on being black? She
- 9:16never ever talks about being Asian. Yeah, because
- 9:17politicians never lie. She else around being
- 9:19human. Well, she never ever acknowledged being
- 9:24half Indian, ever, during her days of campaign.
- 9:25She meant on being joyful, remember? Yeah, that's
- 9:28true. Well, she did bring the joy to death row,
- 9:31by adding more people to it. By bringing the
- 9:33joy and shitting on black men for not supporting
- 9:36her. Look, some people believe in the death penalty.
- 9:39She's such a fervent believer in the death penalty
- 9:41that she'll even send you if you're innocent.
- 9:46You got to keep the death industrial complex
- 9:48going. Got it. Manila, you have a question from
- 9:52Daddy of Triplets. He wants to know, can you
- 9:54give your thoughts about Arizona State University
- 9:57offering a content creation degree? Oh, God,
- 10:02really? A whole degree on that? You want to get
- 10:05yourself in debt? No, I'm going to say that's...
- 10:08a whole bunch of bullshit. I don't know if it
- 10:11qualifies, if it's under the Walter Cronkite
- 10:15School of Journalism. If it is, shame. Why can't
- 10:17we be in what? Put us in the, put us in duo mode.
- 10:19Here we go. Wait, wait, we need more. Yeah, but
- 10:21then Robbie can't be there. Why can't we be all
- 10:23three in side by side? Robbie and I are like,
- 10:26are like mini me. And like, you're like, you
- 10:29get to be big girl there and you're like, I don't
- 10:32know how to do it. Well, I'm only one woman and
- 10:34there's two men. So there you go. In this room,
- 10:37again, we're disadvantaged. The issue is, is
- 10:40that with this room, we don't have the ability
- 10:43to go in and change layouts. Oh, I see. Okay.
- 10:48Well, I'll learn that. Well, wait, I do. That's
- 10:52not true. I do rumble studio. for D program and
- 10:56we're all three side by side. I know, but if
- 10:59you look here at the bottom where our boxes are,
- 11:03because typically, well, one thing I know, this
- 11:06studio is even completely weird. This is not
- 11:08the normal layout. No. And they're at the bottom
- 11:11where you have. Cheers to you. Where you have
- 11:14the boxes. They're just, they're not even there.
- 11:19So anyway, those are the two, those are the two
- 11:21stories. Um, or three, two, two. This is BB's
- 11:27eighth trip to DC. I was right. Number eight.
- 11:31It is actually a lucky number in the Asian culture,
- 11:33by the way. I will fix this after the show. Yeah.
- 11:38Yeah, you will. You and I both. I will need y
- 11:41'all to both log in with your personal accounts
- 11:44in the Team My Supercut room. So that way I can
- 11:47fix this. Yeah. Immediately after this show.
- 11:50Are you free to do that? Yeah, immediately. Yeah,
- 11:54we'll figure this out after the show. But for
- 11:56now at least I got the jaws in here Oh, Robbie,
- 11:59do we have to do an ad before we jump to stories?
- 12:02Let me see if I can How do I check this? I don't
- 12:04think there's gonna be an ad. I'm trying to learn
- 12:06the rumble room guys this room Well, this is
- 12:08not the room to learn because this room is all
- 12:10fucked up. Yeah, this is like this is like Spock
- 12:13with a beard. It's an alternate universe This
- 12:17rule this room will die like pains Do not learn
- 12:21this room. Okay, this room is like an alternate
- 12:24universe where the libertarian party is the dominant
- 12:26party or something. This room will die like a
- 12:28Palestinian child. It will just die. Right, it
- 12:32will die. It will die like the hopes of a recently
- 12:37college graduated Gen Z -er. Okay, I'm doing
- 12:41this. All right. So AccessMed powered by Trinova

- 13:50renamed everything that was named after him here.
- 13:53So. Well, all right. You just him, but he is
- 13:59one. He is one of my heroes. Know and that's
- 14:02why Robbie's mad that everything's renamed here.
- 14:04So Lee seventh grade ID All right, I'm gonna
- 14:15I'm gonna jaws it and get to the stories are
- 14:17we doing stories today we are I Didn't know we
- 14:21were doing stories today Okay, all right, so
- 14:26first story official story hence the thumbnail
- 14:29guys So some 9 -11 families want New York's mayor
- 14:34kept away from Ground Zero for this year's ceremonies.
- 14:38So a group of relatives of people killed in the
- 14:419 -11 attacks is campaigning to keep New York
- 14:44City Mayor Zoran Mamdani away from this year's
- 14:4725th anniversary ceremony at Ground Zero. He's
- 14:49the mayor. They can't stop him. Hold on. Hold
- 14:52on. A petition organized by Giovanni Galanti.
- 14:57by a guy called Giovanni Galanti, whose wife,
- 15:01Grace, was killed at the Trade Center, reportedly
- 15:04has more than 14 ,000 verified signatures, including
- 15:08roughly 350 relatives. It describes Mamdani as,
- 15:14quote, an unwelcome guest and argues that his
- 15:17political associations and past statements make
- 15:19his presence inappropriate for this solemn event.
- 15:23Critics have pointed to Mamdani's relationships
- 15:24with controversial political figures and his
- 15:28emphasis on anti -Muslim discrimination after
- 15:329 -11. Among the concerns raised for the organizers,
- 15:36were how the mayor, quote, blamed the United
- 15:39States for radicalizing Anwar al -Awlaki and
- 15:42al -Qaeda propagandists linked to the 9 -11 hijackers.
- 15:47They also noted that Mamdani appointed Ramzi
- 15:51Qassem, who previously represented Ahmed al -Darby
- 15:56convicted in an al -Qaeda tanker bombing plot.
- 16:00God forbid that someone should provide. legal
- 16:03representation, which is something that every
- 16:06American has a right to. And I guess this lawyer
- 16:09praised Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahaj, who has been
- 16:14linked to radical Islam and was named an alleged
- 16:17co -conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center
- 16:20bombing. So, all right, so this lawyer is being
- 16:22shit on for being a lawyer. As you know, I mean,
- 16:27there's there's a case to be made for that. Sure.
- 16:30But I get it. The National September 11 Memorial
- 16:34and Museum says the annual ceremony is intentionally
- 16:37kept free of politics. Elected officials traditionally
- 16:40attend, but they do not give political speeches.
- 16:44The focus remains on reading the victims names.
- 16:46Mamdani has already participated in official
- 16:499 -11 memorial events as mayor during a May visit
- 16:52with the city agency leaders. He praised first
- 16:55responders and called for New Yorkers to return
- 16:58to the unity demonstrated after the attacks.
- 17:02That leaves organizers with an impossible assignment.
- 17:04Preserve a non -political ceremony while deciding
- 17:07whether an elected mayor has become too political
- 17:10to attend it. 25 years later, Ground Zero, by
- 17:13the way, Mamdani was six years old when that
- 17:15happened, Ground Zero remains sacred ground.
- 17:19It also, still New York, meaning Even the guest
- 17:24list. If Ground Zero was sacred ground, they
- 17:26wouldn't have excavated it. They would have left
- 17:29it as is. Yeah, instead of building a memorial
- 17:33hole there. A beautiful, glorious hole. The glory
- 17:39hole? Yes, indeed. So, you know, at first blush,
- 17:46my knee -jerk reaction was, this is racist as
- 17:48shit. He is... He is... The first Muslim mayor
- 17:52of the city and I know a lot of people have a
- 17:55hard time with that because they link You know
- 17:57all Muslims to 9 -eleven Which is unfair obviously,
- 18:02but that's it. This dude was six years old when
- 18:05this happened He could not have helped planet
- 18:09people. He was six years old Racism I don't think
- 18:14plays in because Islam is not a race Islamophobia
- 18:19plays in. There's no such thing as Islamophobia
- 18:21either. That's bullshit. What are you talking
- 18:23about? There's no such thing as Islamophobia.
- 18:25What? Tell it to the Muslims who've been killed
- 18:28by people who hate them just for being Muslim.
- 18:30Pointing out the fact that Islam is a inherently
- 18:34violent religion that teaches conversion by the
- 18:37sword. Yeah, Christianity has never done that
- 18:39at all. There were Muslims who were killed. Christianity
- 18:40has always been nothing but peaceful. There were
- 18:43Muslims who were killed at 9 -11 and there are
- 18:45Muslim families that go to the 9 -11 ceremony
- 18:47every year. I understand that, but here's the
- 18:50difference. There are Muslim American soldiers
- 18:52who went and fought, you know, the people who
- 18:54were not responsible for 9 -11. Well, no, I get
- 18:56that. But here's the big difference, though.
- 18:59Jesus taught peace. The Catholic Church is what
- 19:04taught war. That is a very distinct difference.
- 19:07Whereas if you go and if you read the writings
- 19:08of Mohammed, piss me upon him. He was a genocidal
- 19:13slaver. He was a warlord. He was a warmonger
- 19:17of the highest... He would fit in beautifully
- 19:20into the present administration. That's the point
- 19:22that I'm trying to make. So to say that Islam...
- 19:25is a peaceful religion, is laughable on his face
- 19:29when Emperor Alexios himself said Islam has always
- 19:31been propagated by the sword. The point is that
- 19:34Mamdani is not, why should the city mayor of
- 19:41the city of New York be excluded from such an
- 19:45important New York event? Well then let me answer
- 19:48the question. If you just like the two of you
- 19:52just now they just had to post me up on the on
- 19:55the teachings of Islam said this Islamophobia
- 19:58by teaching the history of Islamophobia. I mean
- 20:02Islamophobia is is is obviously just what it
- 20:05sounds like. It's not of Islam. It's the fear
- 20:10of Islamic people of Muslim people. Okay, so
- 20:14did anything I just say is any of it factually
- 20:17untrue? No, but it's not related to what we're
- 20:19talking about. But it is because... What does
- 20:22Mamdani have to do with that, though? He's the
- 20:24mayor. I understand. I mean, this is Islamophobic,
- 20:28no? It depends on how much you're trying to say.
- 20:31I mean, how I would go out and I would handle
- 20:33this and say, listen, I am a practicing Muslim.
- 20:35I was elected by the people of the city I'm going
- 20:39to attend. If you don't like it, that's a you
- 20:41problem, not a me problem. OK. Let me pose this
- 20:44to you. What if he were... Jewish mayor and and
- 20:50and he has the same the same background he appointed
- 20:53the same people to his administration what if
- 20:55he was a Jew a white Jewish kid from Brooklyn
- 20:57and he did all the other same things he appointed
- 21:01so -and -so this particular lawyer to chief counsel
- 21:04at New York and he did all this other stuff do
- 21:07you think they would welcome him if he were I
- 21:11don't know ma 'am Einstein Was it Jews that flew
- 21:18those planes into the World Trade Center or was
- 21:20it Muslims? Remind me. Again, what's the issue
- 21:24here? That's my point. Other than him being Muslim,
- 21:29why would you not want this to go? It's literally
- 21:31guilt by association by definition. It's literally
- 21:34like Muslims, literally, it's like all the racist
- 21:37shit I've been seeing on social media by people
- 21:40like Laura Loomer after 9 -11 and, you know,
- 21:44by Muslims, then how could New Yorkers have elected
- 21:47Mamdani? It's like, OK, so what is the presumption
- 21:52of that statement? And that question is that
- 21:56all Muslims are guilty by association for the
- 22:019 -11 attacks. And that had better not be true,
- 22:04because as a white male, I don't want to be guilty
- 22:07by association for everything that dumbass white
- 22:10dudes do all over the world. But you're guilty
- 22:13about that. If you point out that the rest of
- 22:17the world does not have the right to immigrate
- 22:19to Europe, then you're immediately called a racist
- 22:21or a xenophobe. If you point out the fact that
- 22:24while colonialism doubled the life expectancy
- 22:28of people in Africa, you're going to be called
- 22:31a racist and a white supremacist. Again, you're
- 22:34not addressing my point head on, which is to
- 22:36say that you are not responsible for people in
- 22:40your class. If some dumbass from Montana who
- 22:44used to be from Florida does something stupid,
- 22:47that doesn't mean everybody who used to be from
- 22:48Florida now lives in Montana, including you,
- 22:51is to be blamed for that. And so, similarly,
- 22:56I mean, what does Mondani have to do with 9 -11?
- 22:58Nothing. Except that he's a co -religionist of
- 23:01the perpetrators of the 9 -11 attacks. And so
- 23:05fucking what? Yeah. No, I get it. I have Mongolian
- 23:09ancestry. Should I be fucking blamed for Genghis
- 23:11Khan and all of his conquests? And if so, you
- 23:16should get the... Where's the credit? You should
- 23:18also control a mighty empire stretching from
- 23:22Samarkand all the way to Austria. I guess we
- 23:26just depend on the... on your take, right? Because
- 23:30white people were consistently blamed for slavery,
- 23:33despite being involved in the slave trade for
- 23:35300 years. And I call bullshit on that too. I
- 23:38understand. I think that's not fair. So why condemn
- 23:42Mamdani, who is the elected mayor of the city,
- 23:46why not allow him to go? Why would these families
- 23:49take offense of him being there? He's the freaking
- 23:52mayor. I understand. And no, listen, at the end
- 23:56of the day, though, If this is a private ceremony,
- 23:59if you don't have an invitation, he should honor
- 24:01the request of the families and not go. It's
- 24:02not a private ceremony. Is this watched by the
- 24:06city? If it is, then he should go. I mean, he's
- 24:10the mayor. Yeah. I mean, he's the mayor. Well,
- 24:13I think the city obviously gives permits and
- 24:16does whatever the city does. And then I think
- 24:19the 9 -11 families association or whatever, there's
- 24:23like an association or foundation or whatever
- 24:26they have. They put together the thing every
- 24:28year and they fly some people in and whatever
- 24:31So it's like a co -mix of the city and their
- 24:35association. Oh Thanks to PW Walker for the donation
- 24:39Walker says because people need something to
- 24:42be outraged over because outrage gives their
- 24:44lives meaning True. Oh, yeah, but the thing is
- 24:48I mean, it's also just racism, right? So there's
- 24:52that Yeah, it's good old good old good old -fashioned
- 24:56racism and and again, let me just say ma 'am
- 24:59Donnie was six years old at the time of 9 -eleven
- 25:03I Highly doubt highly. I'm not sure. Well, he
- 25:08could have been highly doubt. He could have been
- 25:09a member of it He I think he might have been
- 25:12a member of Al Qaeda. Oh Well, here's the thing
- 25:17I mean, we clearly don't have a problem with
- 25:19Al -Qaeda. I mean, we installed an Al -Qaeda
- 25:21head shopper to run Syria. So that's not even
- 25:23the issue. And I don't understand why y 'all
- 25:25keep saying racism. For one thing, New York elected
- 25:30a foreigner from India who practices Islam. South
- 25:35Africa, I think. No, Kenya, no. Uganda. Uganda.
- 25:39So you can't say that this is a reaction to racism
- 25:42because they elected this buffoon. But we're
- 25:45saying these people... The people of New York
- 25:49demonstrated non -racism by electing him. But
- 25:52these mooky 9 -11 asshole families... They're
- 25:57the specific ones here. Well, they're probably
- 26:00pissed off about the idea. I mean, just like,
- 26:02for example... By the way, he's also speaking.
- 26:04He purports to speak for all 9 -11 families.
- 26:07I'll give you this. If you can get like 95 %
- 26:11of all 9 -11 survivors to agree with him that
- 26:15like Mamdani shouldn't be there, then I'd be
- 26:16like, maybe Mamdani should bail out. Survivor
- 26:18families? Yeah. I don't think you're going to
- 26:20get that. I don't think so. I mean, I don't think
- 26:23it's these are like, there's there's a huge political,
- 26:26you know, split between the 911 families. A bunch
- 26:29of them are right wingers and a bunch of them
- 26:31are not. And child, thank you for the donation.
- 26:35I'm with you. Next story. Ted and I are two to
- 26:38one against Robbie here. Yes. Well, it's really
- 26:42one and a half to one half because of the size
- 26:44of the screen. Oh, it's more than that. I mean,
- 26:46I have definitely pissed off. I dominate the
- 26:48screen. With a unpopular. Opinion here. So but
- 26:52that's why I'm here. I guess it's Look the 9
- 26:55-eleven families like that is shitty of them.
- 26:58Mom Donnie had nothing to do with it and it's
- 27:00it's just Like bottom line if he if he if he
- 27:03had its gales in and he was any other religion
- 27:06they wouldn't have a difficult time allowing
- 27:09the mayor to attend and and Make some you know,
- 27:13like nice comments and be done with it. That's
- 27:15it What? No Jaws? Alright Ted, I did the Jaws,
- 27:23but there was no sound. Well, it was Jaws. It
- 27:27was Silent Jaws. The deadliest of all Jaws. It's
- 27:32Shark Week, by the way. All right. Don't forget,
- 27:36we have to hang on after this and fix this room
- 27:38because it's driving me nuts. All right. Anyway,
- 27:40a Georgia dude is facing federal charges after
- 27:43allegedly giving border agents, I love this story,
- 27:47a password that erased his smartphone instead
- 27:50of unlocking it. Samuel Tunick was returning
- 27:54to the United States. I didn't realize he was
- 27:56an American. I think that matters. through the
- 28:00airport in Atlanta in January of last year, 2025,
- 28:04when CBP, Customs and Border Patrol Dick Beans,
- 28:08pulled him aside and demanded access to his phone.
- 28:12Prosecutors said that Tunick then entered a special
- 28:15duress password that caused the device to delete
- 28:19its contents and restart. He has pled not guilty.
- 28:25The feature comes from Graphene OS, G R A P H
- 28:29E N E O S, which should become a sponsor of the
- 28:33TMI show because we love you. A privacy focused
- 28:37operating system available for Google Pixel phones.
- 28:40Oh, that sucks. Nothing for Apple. If anyone
- 28:43knows if you can do this for iOS, let us know.
- 28:47Users can create an alternate pin that wipes
- 28:50the device when entered, essentially a digital
- 28:53self -destruct button. So you can be like Captain
- 28:55Kirk and fuck you Klingons, I'm blowing this
- 28:58up. Minus the smoke and dramatic countdown. federal
- 29:02prosecutors charged Tunick under a obscure law
- 29:05prohibiting the destruction of property intended
- 29:08for government seizure. That's amazing. By the
- 29:13way, it's not really government whatever. A conviction
- 29:17can carry up to five years in prison. Bring it
- 29:20bitches. But Tunick's attorneys argue that the
- 29:23governance search was unconstitutional from the
- 29:25beginning. They say agents detained him without
- 29:28allowing him access to an attorney and used supposed
- 29:31concerns about illegal imagery as a pretext to
- 29:36investigate his alleged connections to activists
- 29:38who opposed Atlanta's controversial cop city.
- 29:42police training complex. So in other words, he
- 29:45was targeted because he was a lefty. He's an
- 29:48activist. The case appears to be the first U
- 29:50.S. prosecution involving a phone's duress swipe
- 29:53feature, and it could force courts to confront
- 29:56an uncomfortable question. Does protecting your
- 29:58private data become a federal crime the moment
- 30:01an officer wants it? At America's border, constitutional
- 30:04protections have always been thinner within a
- 30:07hundred miles of the border, right? Two million.
- 30:10Now, I think it's 100. But that's where over
- 30:15half of Americans live within 100 miles of an
- 30:18international border. But prosecutors are testing
- 30:23whether your right to digital privacy disappears
- 30:25entirely when your phone lands in government
- 30:28hands. This is a fascinating story. Obviously,
- 30:34TMI show is totally on Team Tunic. and Team Graphene
- 30:40OS. Go Tunic. Can you guys please make an Apple
- 30:44version? Is there an Apple version? We have to
- 30:48find out. They're easy to find. Also, I'm curious
- 30:51to know if like the, you know, this inspector
- 30:53gadget self -destruct mode. Yeah, it's awesome.
- 30:57If you do that, like, is your stuff backed up
- 30:59to the cloud so you can have it self -destruct
- 31:02wiped, you know, when let's say a cop is trying
- 31:04to open the phone? Oh, I'm sure. But then you
- 31:05can redownload all your shit. It doesn't erase
- 31:07your cloud. Yeah. Now, I mean, what would happen
- 31:10is that as soon as let's just say you bought
- 31:12a let's just say you're like you either they
- 31:14give you back your phone or you buy a new one.
- 31:18If it's Apple, it would just automatically repopulate
- 31:20your phone as soon as you reconnect to the Internet.
- 31:22Yeah. So yeah. So I think the lawyer is absolutely
- 31:27right. By the way, if you don't have iOS, if
- 31:30you don't have Graphene, what you do when you
- 31:32cross a border like this is they can open your
- 31:36phone if it's powered up. So when you go through
- 31:41customs, power your phone down completely. They
- 31:44can't turn it on. They can't get it. on without
- 31:48the password, right? Right. Like, if it's on,
- 31:50they can get it without the password. They can
- 31:52hold it up to your face and turn it on. Right.
- 31:55I don't use that. But your point is that they
- 31:59need the password when it's starting from powered
- 32:02down. And if you refuse to give it to them, which
- 32:04if you have any ovaries or balls at all you don't
- 32:08do, then they're fucked and they can't get access.
- 32:13I would say. I don't use a facial recognition
- 32:15thing because of. Well, that's good. I don't
- 32:17like biometric stuff. But they will pressure
- 32:20you and they'll say like, oh, we'll keep you
- 32:22blah, blah, blah. I'd be like, keep me. Keep
- 32:24me. You guys are so. I need my lawyer. You guys
- 32:27are awesome. I love hanging with you. Like, yeah,
- 32:30I'm going to make myself comfortable right here.
- 32:33Yeah, like get my lawyer. Like, dude, this guy.
- 32:35I could sleep anywhere. Awesome. Good for him.
- 32:38Good for Tunik. I think his attorney is right
- 32:41that this This is an illegal search and seizure
- 32:44from the jump. Right, because first of all, there's
- 32:48no reason. First of all, there's no probable
- 32:49cause, right? I mean, right. Like what? And by
- 32:52the way, the fact is, I mean, the protections
- 32:54for a foreign national seeking to enter the United
- 32:58States, which is a privilege, are very low. But
- 33:01this is a U .S. citizen coming home, right? Now
- 33:05they do have the right to try to search your
- 33:07devices, but you have the right not to let them.
- 33:11You absolutely have the right, this is just a
- 33:14refusal is all it is. It's literally, if the
- 33:17same guy had done what I just advised and had
- 33:20the phone powered down and refused to turn over
- 33:22the password, they couldn't have touched him.
- 33:24So what this is about is about the specific technology.
- 33:27It pissed them off because he was totally like.
- 33:33Right. Right. He did the Bart Simpson. Nelson.
- 33:36Sorry, Nelson. Nelson. The Nelson. And that pissed
- 33:41him off. And you know, Ted, anytime you want
- 33:45up law enforcement, they really hate that. We
- 33:49are very angry. We will get you. They really,
- 33:52really hate that. But I would like to see this.
- 33:58It's illegal search and seizure from the jump.
- 34:01And it's against his constitutional rights. I
- 34:04think this is like gonna be fairly easy. I don't
- 34:07know what court this is gonna go to It's a federal
- 34:12federal prosecutors, I guess because he was with
- 34:16with CB more customs I guess right when you're
- 34:20coming through the airport so Federal so this
- 34:23would could end up in a federal court or it will
- 34:25end up in a federal court. Oh it will How which
- 34:29one though is what? matters. If it ends up here
- 34:32where I am in Northern Virginia. Well, I would
- 34:34imagine it's going to be, you know, whatever
- 34:37the district is for Georgia, right? I guess.
- 34:43I mean, how did this happen in Atlanta? Oh, did
- 34:45it? Well, it's a Georgia man. Oh, through Atlanta's
- 34:48airport. Okay. So it is, yeah. It'll be, I was
- 34:51going to say if he's like coming through here
- 34:52or something and he ends up in Northern Virginia,
- 34:56the court. Oh, so yeah, it'll be the Northern,
- 34:57there's a court in Atlanta. There's the Northern
- 34:59District of Georgia. Oh, OK. So federal court,
- 35:04I don't know what they sound like there, but
- 35:05if it were here in in Alexandria, Virginia, you
- 35:11know this court is notorious for siding with.
- 35:14It's pretty much a rubber stamp that you're guilty.
- 35:17Whatever the feds bring done. Have you come to
- 35:20Northern Virginia Federal Court? You're done.
- 35:23You're done, Zoman. That's true. But no worries.
- 35:26That's not going to be the issue here. Maybe
- 35:29I hope not. All right. No, I mean, it just won't.
- 35:31It won't. I hope. They just don't change jurisdictions
- 35:36like that. Illegal from the jump. Go Team Tunic.
- 35:41Like Cop City. I haven't thought about that in
- 35:43a while. I wonder how that's coming along because
- 35:45they are building it. And it means that he's
- 35:46on a fucking list, right? Oh, yeah. All of us
- 35:49lefties. Oh, there's a list for everything, Ted.
- 35:54Like, I always... Less so now, but definitely,
- 35:59you know, in the past 15 years, I was used to
- 36:04getting extra scrutiny going through the airport.
- 36:06I'd get the quadruple S's on my boarding pass.
- 36:09And I'm like, all right, here comes my anal cavity
- 36:12search. Some people pay good money for that,
- 36:16you know? Because I'm a journalist. And at one
- 36:21point, you know, I was in and out of the Middle
- 36:22East a lot. That probably seemed suspicious to
- 36:25them. And then I worked for RT for a decade.
- 36:29That was suspicious to them, obviously, and they
- 36:32go through everything. So there's always a list.
- 36:36There's always a list. If you're any sort of
- 36:40antagonist to whoever the ruling party is, which
- 36:45as a journalist, you should be an antagonist
- 36:49to any and all power. So I was always harassed
- 36:53at the airports, but less so these days, thankfully.
- 36:55But I also aren't playing very much. But yeah,
- 36:58there's a list for everybody. There's a list
- 37:00for everything. So if you're a lefty or a righty,
- 37:03it just depends on who's in power, Ted. Yep.
- 37:07Yep. That's it. And by the way, the audience
- 37:13says they can hear the Jaws sound. We can't.
- 37:16Oh, which is weird. Well, that's all that matters,
- 37:18really. I don't need to hear it. I know what
- 37:20it sounds like. I hear the jobs. You hear it?
- 37:23Yeah, I hear it. Oh, OK. OK, well, that's good.
- 37:28OK, back to my motherland of Los Angeles. The
- 37:32homeless population is rising again and the housing
- 37:36pipeline is clogged. Yay. The numbers are going
- 37:39up. After two years of modest progress, homelessness
- 37:44is rising again in Los Angeles. The homelessness
- 37:48shall rise again. Good. We need more homeless
- 37:51people. We got to have them. We got to have them.
- 37:54Nothing says advanced industrial democracy like
- 37:59people sleeping outside. Yes. 2026 homeless count
- 38:04found approximately. Approximately. And when
- 38:07I say approximate, I mean, it's not even approximate.
- 38:09This is like the loosest number that they can
- 38:12get their hands around. 73 ,000. unhoused people
- 38:16across most of LA County. That's up 1 .2 % from
- 38:21last year. Within the city of LA itself, homelessness
- 38:25has increased by 3 .4%. That's some 45 ,000 people.
- 38:31So just in the city proper, where I used to live,
- 38:33like I live downtown, that's like 60 % of the
- 38:38Southern California is like homeless population.
- 38:41The most troubling number is on the streets.
- 38:44Unsheltered homelessness. I feel like that's...
- 38:48Isn't it? No, that's opposed to sheltered homelessness,
- 38:51like people couch surfing at their friend's house.
- 38:54Oh, okay. Unsheltered homelessness is the term
- 38:58jumped by near jumped nearly 8 % inside the city
- 39:02meaning roughly 29 ,000 new people are now living
- 39:06in tents vehicles or other places not meant for
- 39:09Habitation officials say the problem is not simply
- 39:12that more people are entering homelessness It's
- 39:14that fewer people are getting out. Funding cuts
- 39:18forced LA to reduce enrollment in temporary rental
- 39:21subsidy programs that help people move from shelters
- 39:24into permanent apartments. Thankfully, my family
- 39:27member was one of those people some three years
- 39:30ago. And so I know about this, the programs that
- 39:35move you through, you know, whatever programs
- 39:37into a shelter, into like group housing and then
- 39:40permanent homes, or not semi -permanent. apartments.
- 39:44That number of people housed through those subsidies
- 39:47fell from more than 10 ,000 in 2024 to about
- 39:536 ,600 last year. That created a bottleneck when
- 39:57people cannot leave temporary shelters beds do
- 40:00not open for those still sleeping outside. Moves
- 40:04from interim housing into permanent homes dropped
- 40:0636 % while the number of people returning from
- 40:09temporary housing to the streets increased by
- 40:1224%. Meanwhile, LA remains catastrophically expensive.
- 40:17Officials estimate a household must earn approximately
- 40:21$110 ,000 annually to afford the county's average
- 40:26monthly rent This is the average of $2 ,745.
- 40:30$2 ,745 for rent. Yeah, cry me a river. In New
- 40:35York City, the average rent is over $5 ,000 a
- 40:39month. And in order to qualify for it, you must
- 40:43earn at least $200 ,000 a year and be able to
- 40:46prove it. Well, nearly 6 in 10 newly homeless
- 40:51residents blamed economic hardship, duh. And
- 40:55for every person LA permanently housed, more
- 40:58than two others entered or reentered the homelessness
- 41:01system. That's the larger lesson here. Clearing
- 41:04encampments may change what a sidewalk looks
- 41:07like, but unless people can move into stable
- 41:08housing, the problem is merely a problem just
- 41:13being rearranged. Yeah, you get shuffled around,
- 41:16right? That's really all it is. And this is going
- 41:18to prove to be a thing that's going to dog Gavin
- 41:22Newsom in 2028. Uh, this crisis, obviously with
- 41:27mayor Karen Bass, like who was still ahead in
- 41:30the polls, like for her reelection, right? For,
- 41:33forget, I don't, I don't want to re, relitigate
- 41:38the whole, um, Spencer Pratt and Nathia Ramen
- 41:41or whatever her name is. Her last name is Ramen.
- 41:43Um, how all these like midnight mail -in ballots
- 41:47came in and the homelessness, homeless encampments
- 41:51getting, you know, fake registered to vote. Um,
- 41:55but this is not going to look good for the people
- 41:58who are the status quo. Um, but because LA has
- 42:02that, that rank choice voter thing, the status
- 42:06quo, you can vote for status quo a or status
- 42:09quo B, but they're all part of the status quo.
- 42:12And then for Gavin Newsom, this is definitely
- 42:14going to dog him in 2028. Cause I assure you
- 42:18he will be the nominee. Well, I've got some good
- 42:20news. I can't do anything about homelessness.
- 42:22But the TMI show, and I'll go away after this,
- 42:25we are number nine on Rumble right now. We moved
- 42:29up. We're number nine. We're number nine. We're
- 42:34number nine. There's a, I think the real reason
- 42:37that we're trending is because of the whole Islam
- 42:39thing, the whole Islam angle. So while you and
- 42:42the chat are blasting me for being a right -wing
- 42:47fascist, Christian, Christo -Nationalist, whatever
- 42:50it is y 'all going to do. Rumble is showing us
- 42:54some serious love right here. So y 'all can,
- 42:57y 'all can love me against my populism, but this
- 43:00is a hell I will die on when it comes to, to
- 43:02religion. I want to get, I want to get Muslim
- 43:04saved and converted to Christianity. Look, the
- 43:08authenticity is there, Robbie. Everybody knows
- 43:10you mean what you're saying. That's why. That's
- 43:14why they watch and whether they hate what you're
- 43:17saying or not, one thing they cannot and no one
- 43:20will ever take from you is that you are authentic
- 43:23and that is who you be. And people know that.
- 43:27We are now number five. We are number five right
- 43:31now. All right, let's keep talking. Let's keep
- 43:33the needle moving, babes. Let's do it. Number
- 43:36five. All right, thanks. Number five, boys and
- 43:38girls. You got to take a screenshot of that.
- 43:41We got to frame it. We are number five. We're
- 43:44number five. All right. Jaws. Jaws it. OK, I
- 43:51guess I'm going to assume that I heard that.
- 43:54OK, so America's education gap is reshaping the
- 43:58marriage market, and women without college degrees
- 44:01are taking the biggest hit. A new working paper
- 44:05from the National Bureau of Economic Research
- 44:08finds that College -educated women are increasingly
- 44:12marrying men who don't have four -year degrees,
- 44:16but they're not choosing randomly. They're pairing
- 44:19up with the highest earning dudes in that group.
- 44:23So we'll have to break that down. The share of
- 44:25marriages involving a college -educated wife
- 44:27and a husband without a degree quadrupled across
- 44:32the generation studied, rising from 2 .3 % among
- 44:36women born back in 1930 to 9 .6 % among those
- 44:41born in 1980. Those husbands earned an average
- 44:45of about 68 grand a year. Meanwhile, Less educated
- 44:49dudes who didn't marry college graduates, averaged
- 44:53about 46 K, roughly 10 ,000 less than comparable
- 44:57men in earlier generations. So this is a little
- 44:59hard to follow, especially for those of us who
- 45:01are not college educated. In other words, college
- 45:04educated women are crossing educational lines,
- 45:07but primarily for guys with steady careers and
- 45:10solid incomes. They're going for - Billy Joel,
- 45:12hello. Uptown girl. They're going for - They're
- 45:16going for business owners, electricians, HVAC
- 45:19technicians, and podcasters, and other skilled
- 45:23workers who might lack diplomas but not earning
- 45:26power. That has sharply reduced the pool of economically
- 45:30stable guys available to women without degrees.
- 45:34The study estimates that the share of marriageable,
- 45:37I hate that term, non -college men... Marryable?
- 45:41Well, no, I mean, marriageable is the correct
- 45:44term grammatically. I hate the idea that someone
- 45:47could be considered not marriageable because
- 45:49of their socioeconomic status. Oh, I thought
- 45:52you meant the word itself. No, but it fell from
- 45:5573 % to about 35 % across the generations examined.
- 45:59Marriage rates among college -educated women
- 46:02remain above 70%. For chicks without degrees,
- 46:05they plunge from 79%, that's nearly 80%, to about
- 46:0952%. Researchers say one trend did not necessarily
- 46:13cause the other, but when working -class men
- 46:16lose economic ground, working -class women lose
- 46:20potential partners. Marriage may be personal,
- 46:23but macroeconomics is destiny. I gotta say though,
- 46:27Manoa, what's interesting here is think about
- 46:30like 50 years ago or a hundred years ago it was
- 46:35not at all uncommon for a man to have a college
- 46:37to have a nice job and Maybe working in office
- 46:40and have a college degree to be married to a
- 46:43woman who didn't It was like a waitress or something.
- 46:46Let's say sure. Yeah, she's and so that's that's
- 46:50it's interesting to me that like There are for
- 46:53the guys who are still left who are you know
- 46:57successful financially? that they're less willing
- 47:01to pair up with working class women, that white
- 47:05collar guys. Well, you want to marry up too.
- 47:08Yeah. By the way, marrying up is gay. OK, so
- 47:11I just want to say, like when I got engaged,
- 47:14the receptionist at my office, she was like,
- 47:18wanted to know what my fiance looked like. And
- 47:22I showed her. a picture and she said, oh, she's
- 47:25Asian. She said, that's the only way that you
- 47:28as a white guy can marry up. And I was like,
- 47:31what the fuck are you even talking about? And
- 47:34she's like, yeah, yeah, she was Latina. I'm sure
- 47:37she still is. And might not be these days, you
- 47:41never know. And so it was just it was so it was
- 47:45funny to me. But yeah, that idea is gross. Okay,
- 47:50like it's gross. I mean, people carrying off
- 47:53economically is disgusting. Look, I'm talking
- 47:56about like the class system, right? Like, yeah,
- 47:58the class system is disgusting. Like, not not
- 48:02by race, though, you're not inherently higher
- 48:05class because of race, I'm saying, like, by socioeconomic
- 48:08class. Right, right, right. I know. So like,
- 48:12like I've I've dated car salesmen, I've dated
- 48:17Cops I've dated whatever I've gone on dates with
- 48:20whoever like I've never been one to discriminate
- 48:22as long as you weren't stupid, right? About so
- 48:26in other words you weren't dating in the United
- 48:27States As long as they weren't as long as they
- 48:31weren't dumb. I look I've known guys I've dated
- 48:33guys that had college degrees that were fucking
- 48:36dumb as a bag of dicks like just dumb like Really
- 48:41dumb. Okay, so that's so interesting to me. I
- 48:45Like, as soon as I'd suss out that a chick was
- 48:47dumb, we're done. Like, like that date is finished.
- 48:53Well, I mean, no, no. You find out before the
- 48:55date, usually. Yeah, kind of. But but I mean,
- 48:59for a girl, you kind of you're like, well, but
- 49:01he's cute and he's sweet and he makes me laugh.
- 49:04Really? And yeah, I dated this guy and I was
- 49:08thinking about this story this morning as I was
- 49:10stirring my coffee and I was like, I'm not going
- 49:11to I'm not going to name him poor guy. But Name
- 49:15him, name him, name him. He was half, he was
- 49:17half Japanese, right? So he's, he's Hapa, right?
- 49:20Good looking guy, tall, good looking. Um, and,
- 49:25and I remember he, he chased me from California
- 49:28to DC. I moved out here and he chased. So I was
- 49:33like, sure, come out. You've never been to DC.
- 49:35Fine. You want to make a vacation of it. And,
- 49:38and we go to the natural history museum. We,
- 49:41we do the museum circuit, right? I'm fairly new
- 49:44here. He's never been. So I'm like, okay, let's
- 49:46go. We go. And when we're walking back to my
- 49:51apartment, first thing, first inkling where I
- 49:56was like, oh, he saw the EPA building. We're
- 50:02waiting to cross Constitution Ave. He sees the
- 50:04EPA building and he's like, environmental protection
- 50:08agency. I wonder what they do there. Oh, God.
- 50:12And I was like, what? He was joking, right? No,
- 50:15I was, I laughed and I was like, uh -huh. Was
- 50:17he fluent in English? He was born and raised
- 50:20in Hawaii. So, Pidge in English? No. No, but
- 50:25he's been on the mainland since college. So,
- 50:28I was like, I laughed and I thought he was being,
- 50:31you know, kind of smarmy and funny. So, I was
- 50:33like, I laughed and I was like, I was like, you're
- 50:37kidding, right? He worked for Toyota, Ted. And
- 50:41I was like, shouldn't you know what the EPA,
- 50:44it's on the window stickers of every fucking
- 50:47car. Like EPA suggested or mileage or whatever
- 50:52per gallon, right? And that was my first inkling.
- 50:56We're walking back to my apartment and I'm like,
- 50:59that's in my brain. So we get to my apartment,
- 51:02then he's like - But you're thinking like, he'd
- 51:04better be a good coxman at this point. So I'm
- 51:06like, gosh, like, is he dumb? No, he can't be
- 51:11dumb. He's, he's Japanese. He can't be dumb.
- 51:14That's true. Well, I did know I worked for a
- 51:17Japanese bank and I did have some dumb colleagues.
- 51:21Yeah. So I, you know, I, my agent there was this
- 51:24guy, I'll call him Kozaki because his name was
- 51:27Kozaki and he was dumb as a rock. Yeah. So, so
- 51:30get this. So, so I was like, so what did you
- 51:33think? What did you think of the, the, you know,
- 51:35like, um, the evolution? installation at the
- 51:39Smithsonian. And he was like, yeah, that was
- 51:43pretty cool to see, you know, like the figures
- 51:46and stuff, like the homo sapiens and whatever.
- 51:50He's like, but I don't get it. I was like, what?
- 51:53Oh no. We're having a cigarette and a drink.
- 51:55I'm like, what? Oh no. What don't you get? I'm
- 51:58scared. And he's like, yeah, I know. He goes,
- 52:02how do they even know how old these creatures
- 52:06were? and I was like what do you mean he's like
- 52:09the bones like the fossils like how how do they
- 52:12know how old these dinosaur bones and stuff were
- 52:15whoa thank you for the donation bh longbow thank
- 52:21you very much the heads up on rumble previous
- 52:24thank you very much um so he he's having the
- 52:27cigarette with me and i'm still looking at him
- 52:29perplexed because i'm thinking where's the punch
- 52:30line and he goes how can they tell how old these
- 52:34things are and i Again, I go, you're joking,
- 52:37right? And I said, there's this thing called
- 52:41carbon dating. And he was like, but yeah, but
- 52:45how do they know? I mean, I think it would have
- 52:47been so scary for these like Neanderthals to
- 52:49be running away from saber -toothed tigers and
- 52:52dinosaurs. And I was like, did you walk through
- 52:57the same installation? This could have been a
- 52:59devout, this is a Robbie question. This is a
- 53:03creationist. No, no, no. He wasn't religious
- 53:05at all. And so he was like, he was like, yeah,
- 53:08don't you think it would have been scary to run
- 53:10away from saber -toothed tigers and, like, dinosaurs?
- 53:13Well, I think saber -toothed tigers did live
- 53:15at the same time as human beings. I don't know.
- 53:19Saber -toothed tigers are not that old. But he
- 53:22said running away from T -Rex. I could be wrong.
- 53:25I'm gonna look that up. I could be totally wrong.
- 53:26He said running away from fucking T -Rex. And
- 53:28I said, you know, they didn't live at the same
- 53:31time he goes but how do they know and i said
- 53:33carbon dating oh i'm totally i'm totally wrong
- 53:35yeah i didn't think they did but so again i go
- 53:38carbon dating did you walk through the same installation
- 53:41that i walked through actually no i'm not wrong
- 53:44they they lived um the the until about eight
- 53:48thousand years ago so yeah but the dude said
- 53:51he was like i mean saber -toothed tigers have
- 53:54attacked human beings they have but dude was
- 53:56talking about running away from t -rex like this
- 53:59is in the jurassic park movie and i was like
- 54:01right and i'm now i'm mortified right and i feel
- 54:05bad because the guy flew cross country to have
- 54:09a date with me like he well you know i've got
- 54:12to ask did he get lucky no i was so turned off
- 54:17it was like the biggest boner kill ever because
- 54:20i realized he's sweet and he's funny and he's
- 54:23thoughtful and the few dates that we went on
- 54:25back in California. Did you think like he's so
- 54:28cute maybe I could educate him? No it was such
- 54:32a turn off that I just suddenly the smells that
- 54:35emanated from him that just the way he spoke
- 54:38I saw every little spittle of saliva everything
- 54:40suddenly was like oh no I can't stand you and
- 54:45then we got in an argument about fucking carbon
- 54:48dating. And I went, I'm sorry, this is not going
- 54:51to work out. Like, you got to go. So then you
- 54:55said there'd never be a future with you and me
- 54:58then. If you guys both get divorced. You know
- 55:03what the EPA is. You know what? Look at what
- 55:06happened to to to Morning Joe after Nika and
- 55:11Joe got together. You know, that show never that
- 55:14great to begin with only got worse. Yeah. Well,
- 55:17the thing is... Look at what happened when Chrissy
- 55:21Hynde married Jim Kerr. Again, two great bands
- 55:24got destroyed, the Pretenders and the Simple
- 55:26Minds. If it was one thing, it might be like,
- 55:31okay, well, everybody has a brain fart. But it
- 55:33was like a series of things all compounded into
- 55:35one day when I realized, oh, he has a college
- 55:39degree. but he has a blue collar job so it was
- 55:42kind of a toss -up and I was like oh we have
- 55:44like the the ethnic thing going for us I don't
- 55:46have to explain anything about culture and Asian
- 55:48like he gets it right like food's not gonna be
- 55:50weird Japanese people are are racist and they
- 55:55have racial superiority and they look down on
- 55:58you guys they're like oh Laotians are just there
- 56:01to be eaten or whatever yeah but he grew up in
- 56:03Hawaii so you know he's from Hawaii so So he
- 56:06looked at me as like a local girl, like a brown
- 56:10Asian girl. So he's like, oh, you look like home.
- 56:13And no, no. So I would advise though, don't take
- 56:19my story, every single woman out there, that
- 56:22look, he was college educated and made good money,
- 56:28but he was still dumb. Yeah, dumb is a non -starter
- 56:32if you're Because I mean, it's just, it's depressing,
- 56:36right? Like, it's okay if someone isn't well
- 56:42-versed in your particular area, right? It's
- 56:45totally like... I don't need them to be a political
- 56:47or whatever, right? Although there has to be
- 56:50equal respect. I dated a lady who was a very
- 56:53accomplished scientist and she was... incredible,
- 56:57not very smart about politics, but she was always
- 56:59asking me about politics. So that helped her.
- 57:02But when I was asking her about science, she
- 57:05kind of like didn't want to talk about it, because
- 57:06basically, she thought I was a science tard.
- 57:09And compared to her, I was. And so, you know,
- 57:13it wasn't things weren't equal there. And I was
- 57:15kind of feeling like, you're just like, You're
- 57:18like a brain. You're like a brain tumor. You're
- 57:21just sucking my brains out for your own greater
- 57:24glory. But I'm not getting anything out of this
- 57:26relationship. I'm not learning anything. OK,
- 57:29so I've got so I've got to know. And I'm trying
- 57:35to think of a way to phrase this, it doesn't
- 57:36make me sound like your Japanese friend who is
- 57:38a complete and utter retard. Neither of you believes
- 57:44in carbon dating, so you have that. Well, I mean,
- 57:46that's where I'm going, right? So I mean, where
- 57:48do you draw that line? Because there's plenty
- 57:51of people who would go out of their way, because
- 57:54they have, to call me stupid, because I don't
- 57:58believe in carbon dating. I don't believe in
- 57:59the idea of an old earth. I believe that the
- 58:01earth is young. It was created. So in the scale
- 58:06of retardation, Where do I land on that spectrum?
- 58:12I don't know. It's not that he believed in it.
- 58:13I'm so happy I don't have to answer this question,
- 58:15Manila. You do. It's not that he had to believe
- 58:19in carbon dating. That's different. He didn't
- 58:22even understand where to begin with what carbon
- 58:26dating was. He didn't know what the EPA was.
- 58:29He didn't understand the theory of it, or even
- 58:31that it existed. He didn't even understand. He
- 58:35didn't believe it. He didn't believe in the new
- 58:37the new the young earth. Right. So he just didn't
- 58:40understand it. He had no wherewithal of like,
- 58:46I guess he slept through this part of like, science
- 58:49or history class or something in high school
- 58:51or I don't know. But that's when I realized I
- 58:54was like, Oh, my God, we walked through the same
- 58:57thing and we did not see the same installation
- 59:01like I was like, did you read the plaques on
- 59:05the thing? Like, did you, did you read English?
- 59:09That's what I'm saying. That's why with, with
- 59:13college educated women, like I've, I've dated
- 59:17a Burger King worker. I've never discriminated
- 59:20as, cause I've known very smart people to come
- 59:22from all walks of life, right? Like surprisingly,
- 59:25like, hello, like Robbie, very smart dude, right?
- 59:28True, true. Some redneck from. from the gulf
- 59:31side of florida who'da thunk one of the most
- 59:35intelligent people i know true ditto so i've
- 59:37never discriminated but for what i find fascinating
- 59:42about this story is that the college let's say
- 59:44she's a lawyer let's say you know manila you're
- 59:46ducking robbie's question though well you're
- 59:49what was what was my what was the question i
- 59:51answered it no you didn't robbie's question was
- 59:54do you know do you because robbie doesn't believe
- 59:57in carbon dating Would you look down on him as
- 1:00:01a, you know, someone like him as a potential
- 1:00:05dating partner because he believes the earth
- 1:00:08is 6 ,000 odd years old. Believing in something
- 1:00:11is different than not even being aware of it.
- 1:00:15That's very different. I'm going to be mean here.
- 1:00:20He's rejecting carbon dating. So in other words,
- 1:00:23you would say it's okay to understand something
- 1:00:26and then reject it. and reject it, than it is
- 1:00:30to just be too stupid to understand it. Okay,
- 1:00:33I get that, actually. Be completely unfucking
- 1:00:35aware. You're unaware of what the EPA is. Well,
- 1:00:38he never even heard of carbon dating. He didn't
- 1:00:40even know. It was like you were like, so there's
- 1:00:42a thing called... You're like in your 30s, and
- 1:00:44you'd never ever heard of carbon dating? Like,
- 1:00:48what's that? And I literally got so mean. And
- 1:00:51it's not dating carbon. Yeah, I literally got
- 1:00:52mean. Dating carbon -based creatures. I felt
- 1:00:55so bad after I said this like before I told him
- 1:00:57to get out. I was like, what the fuck are you
- 1:01:00talking about? I was like You know, the Flintstones
- 1:01:03is not a documentary, right? I Literally said
- 1:01:07that to him and the moment it's tumbled out of
- 1:01:10my mouth. I felt I Felt so bad. I was like, oh
- 1:01:15no, like I mean and he said I could see the look
- 1:01:18on his face He was just crushed and I was like
- 1:01:21but no No, this cannot go any further. No, I
- 1:01:26cannot procreate with you. I do not want to have
- 1:01:29sex with you. No. No. Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy.
- 1:01:35Bye. Meow meow. Guys, speaking of this, this
- 1:01:39segues well with our breaking news about my favorite
- 1:01:42California governor and also least favorite California
- 1:01:46governor, Gavin Newsom. So an aide who had an
- 1:01:49affair with Gavin Newsom. More than 20 years
- 1:01:52ago, when he was the mayor of San Francisco,
- 1:01:55has written a detailed account of the relationship
- 1:01:58for Vanity Fair. The first person essay by the
- 1:02:02aide, Ruby Rippey, who was his appointments secretary
- 1:02:06at the time. And he was like, will you, will
- 1:02:09you, can you pencil him in my pencil? Was published
- 1:02:15just as he finishes his final year blah blah
- 1:02:18blah prepares to run for president blah blah
- 1:02:20blah blah blah blah so He had an affair with
- 1:02:25Rippy She was the wife of Alex Tork a close friend
- 1:02:29who was then serving as his reelection campaign
- 1:02:32manager After previously working as his deputy
- 1:02:35chief of staff. No was he married to Kim Guilfoyle
- 1:02:37at that time? Probably not Turk had just told
- 1:02:41Newsom he was resigning after learning about
- 1:02:43the affair from his wife. In her essay, she doesn't
- 1:02:46describe she doesn't use Newsom's name, but she
- 1:02:49describes him as the mayor of San Francisco and
- 1:02:52a man often described as Kennedy -esque. Obviously,
- 1:02:55it's him. She blames herself for betraying her
- 1:02:58husband and says that her life spiraled out of
- 1:03:01control because she was drinking a lot and she
- 1:03:03was coked up. She also Appears to blame Newsome
- 1:03:07for holding so much power over her I'm getting
- 1:03:10bored with this narrative ladies and for proceeding
- 1:03:13with the affair. Anyway, she writes that Me too
- 1:03:16everybody that their relationship began in the
- 1:03:19summer of 05 went on for a few months off and
- 1:03:22on I always go to him his penthouse in Russian
- 1:03:24Hill a private back room at a North Beach bar
- 1:03:27the W in Los Angeles she writes in her essay
- 1:03:30we meet and we drink there is sex but it isn't
- 1:03:33the point the point is proximity to power to
- 1:03:36being chosen. So there's more and more detail.
- 1:03:40So what is wrong with like a mechanic guy marrying
- 1:03:44the uptown girl like Billy Joel says? Nothing.
- 1:03:50Nothing at all. I mean, women for centuries have
- 1:03:52done this for millennia have done this. Well,
- 1:03:55no, it's usually gone the other way around. Historically,
- 1:03:58it's always been, you know, most, I hate this
- 1:04:02term, but most men have married down class -wise.
- 1:04:05It's not been the other way around. But nowadays,
- 1:04:08it has to be the other way around because men
- 1:04:10and boys have fallen off a cliff. Women have
- 1:04:12historically married up, right? Like a waitress
- 1:04:16marries a lawyer, right? A flight attendant.
- 1:04:20But now the wrinkle is you're marrying down,
- 1:04:23but here's the question. What is class? Right?
- 1:04:26So If a dude makes $500 ,000 a year, like I know
- 1:04:31a dude who makes $500 ,000 a year. He's technically
- 1:04:34a working class guy, but what's his job? He repairs
- 1:04:37yachts and super yachts for people in the Hamptons,
- 1:04:40OK? And he's one of the few people in the world
- 1:04:43who can do this, right? So he's making bank.
- 1:04:46He's a very smart guy, but he doesn't have a
- 1:04:48Harvard degree. If you marry him, are you marrying
- 1:04:52down because he's working class or are you marrying
- 1:04:54up because he's rich? I mean, I don't know the
- 1:04:56answer to that. Or if you marry a poet who makes
- 1:05:00no money at all, but, you know, has a PhD from
- 1:05:04and, you know, went to Iowa Writers Program,
- 1:05:07blah, blah, blah, has a bunch of books. Are you
- 1:05:09marrying up even though, you know, he's making,
- 1:05:12you know, $20 ,000 a year? I know guys like that
- 1:05:14too. Yeah. I look, I'm a realist. And I know
- 1:05:20that that you also can't marry just a forever
- 1:05:24dreamer like let's say an out of work actor right
- 1:05:27and and let's say you are a high powered attorney
- 1:05:30or whatever no you can but it ain't gonna work
- 1:05:33because you're at some point gonna feel sick
- 1:05:36as a woman you're gonna feel sick and tired of
- 1:05:40of carrying the burden and i think a lot of men
- 1:05:42feel this way too but less so more for the woman
- 1:05:45because of a millennia of training women to feel
- 1:05:50like They're the ones that should be taken care
- 1:05:52of so even if you are the one quote wearing the
- 1:05:55pants and you're a girl You're the one wearing
- 1:05:57the pants and your dude is like some dreamy poet
- 1:06:00He's so cute and he's so like romantic, but he
- 1:06:04earns like, you know Ten bucks a day, you're
- 1:06:08reading poetry outside of the 87 87th Street
- 1:06:11Metro exit subway exit then Like you're probably
- 1:06:15going to get sick of that. Like it just might
- 1:06:17not. You might be like I knew a girl. She she
- 1:06:20went to Harvard. She has a great job. She's a
- 1:06:23top executive at a major NGO. She's making money.
- 1:06:27She married a dreamy pot smoking, very good looking,
- 1:06:32very sweet man. And, you know, and they have
- 1:06:37lots of sex and he takes great care of their
- 1:06:39kid. He's a stay at home dad. He just smokes
- 1:06:42weed and plays video games. That's it. That's
- 1:06:46the exception. He's a weed smoking kept man.
- 1:06:49I know people like that too. The very rare rare
- 1:06:54rare times you ever meet people like that. Those
- 1:06:56are the exceptions Not the rule generally speaking
- 1:06:59money is the number one reason people get divorced.
- 1:07:02So while I While I support Women to not Not pigeonhole
- 1:07:12anyone based on what they speak like what they
- 1:07:15do for a living what they whatever I've always
- 1:07:18been very open -minded about who I dated you
- 1:07:20know went on and when i say dated i don't mean
- 1:07:23like necessarily as my boyfriend but i mean going
- 1:07:25on dates um i've never been closed minded about
- 1:07:28that or any race any color there's some disabilities
- 1:07:32in there i've never like it's never that's never
- 1:07:35bothered me but for us girls we have to troubleshoot
- 1:07:38rumble rumble studio we have to troubleshoot
- 1:07:40um but this is what we're doing and ted you know
- 1:07:43why they're marrying not cartoonists hey you
- 1:07:49know why Because we're po because fucking AI
- 1:07:53is stealing all the white collar jobs. So she
- 1:07:56is going to want to marry the HVAC repair man.
- 1:07:59She is going to want to, you know, that guy will
- 1:08:01always have a job with the younger generation.
- 1:08:04They know this might be a coxman. Did you all
- 1:08:07see that? Don't pay the bills. Ted, the pain.
- 1:08:11Don't pay the bills. Did you all see Elon's interview
- 1:08:14that he did? I think it was last week talking
- 1:08:16about he's predicting, but then 10 to 15 years.
- 1:08:19There'll be no need to work at all. Yeah, AI
- 1:08:22robotics. Well, no need to work. I mean, sure,
- 1:08:26but they're just not going to give you any money
- 1:08:28because we live under this horrible system. That's
- 1:08:30an important prop. Seriously, Robbie, put a put
- 1:08:33a pin in that. I want to talk about it like tomorrow.
- 1:08:36I'm with Matina. Matina says I expect a man to
- 1:08:39lead in the relationship. My sister. Though is
- 1:08:43the boss in her family. She married for money
- 1:08:45and now he's laid off. That happens too. That
- 1:08:48can happen. Marrying for money is a mistake because
- 1:08:51money may or may not last. Yep. And you know
- 1:08:54what? Good looks fade. Stupid is forever. Yeah,
- 1:09:00but coxmanship is forever too. You can't pay
- 1:09:04the bills with the peen, Ted. I don't care how
- 1:09:07well you lay pipe. If you ain't out on the street
- 1:09:10or at a construction site doing it, I don't I
- 1:09:12don't want to hear about it. The end. All right.
- 1:09:15All right. So hit the thing and then we'll stay
- 1:09:18on. We'll stay on. I'm learning. So the big red
- 1:09:22button that says end stream. End stream. And
- 1:09:25then does that kick us all out? No, we'll all
- 1:09:27be here. If I hit end stream, does that play
- 1:09:30the outro video or do I have to play the outro?
- 1:09:32No. So here's how this is going to work. It's
- 1:09:34an abrupt end. Yeah, because we don't have the
- 1:09:37stuff in this room. No, I have it. So what we're
- 1:09:40going to do. Uh, we're going to end the stream.
- 1:09:43I'm going to log into, uh, to the TMI channel.
- 1:09:46Manila. You log into Manila. You log into your
- 1:09:49personal account, Ted being your personal account.
- 1:09:53I will send you both the invite. I'll make you
- 1:09:54both admins and I will fix this clusterfuck.
- 1:09:57Thank you. Okay. Okay. I'm going to play. I'm
- 1:09:59going to play the outro and then hit the end
- 1:10:02stream. Yes. And it's hitting the end stream.
- 1:10:05Manila is a two -part process. You hit the button
- 1:10:07and then it's going to be like, are you really
- 1:10:09sure? And you have to hit that. Want to end?
- 1:10:12No, I want to keep talking forever on rumble
- 1:10:14the whole fucking day. Happy Tuesday, guys. Bye.
- 1:10:19See you tomorrow. Bye. You got to hit that button.
- 1:10:30You got to push. It's not playing. It's playing.
- 1:10:34Yeah, it's playing. We don't even see it. I see
- 1:10:37it.
