- 3:03Speaker 3: the Stone Age.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The Hierarchy, Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdiky.
- 3:09Speaker 3: He is indeed smashing Pumpkin's here on the Radio Hodankey
- 3:12Speaker 3: Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 3:15Speaker 4: The time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:17Speaker 3: And fellas, I saw something today on the streets of
- 3:20Speaker 3: Auckland City that I could relate to massively.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Were you in the city, Yeah, the big city, the
- 3:25Speaker 6: big city.
- 3:31Speaker 4: We're heading into autumn. It is autumn.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Wait is it?
- 3:36Speaker 4: It is autumn? We've had a not great summer um.
- 3:45Speaker 3: And I was walking up the street today coming to
- 3:49Speaker 3: work and there was a young fella, maybe about twenty,
- 3:54Speaker 3: coming down towards me, and he had a trolley, a
- 3:59Speaker 3: trolley four all of trays and trays of eggs.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Can I ask you if it is one of those
- 4:05Speaker 6: sort of those hand those hands trucks.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like a hand truck trolley, yeah, kind
- 4:10Speaker 4: of like that.
- 4:12Speaker 3: And it had a strap up, you know, to keep
- 4:15Speaker 3: all the eggs in place. And he was going down
- 4:19Speaker 3: the hill and I think the strap just kind of
- 4:22Speaker 3: snapped off.
- 4:23Speaker 4: He must have knocked it or something.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Was it like a bungee cord.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It was like a bungee cord exactly, Mogi keeping all
- 4:29Speaker 3: the eggs securely in there. I say about fifteen to
- 4:33Speaker 3: twenty trays of eggs, twenty four like the big squaze Yeah.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Yeah, the big square trays truth things. It must have.
- 4:42Speaker 3: He must have knocked it, because the strap snapped off,
- 4:45Speaker 3: and in a cascade, these trays of eggs just went dish,
- 4:55Speaker 3: no crap, hundreds and hundreds of eggs when you poor basted.
- 5:03Speaker 3: And then everyone that was around him just stopped and
- 5:06Speaker 3: he looked up at the sky and just stopped and
- 5:09Speaker 3: he looked at the sky for about ten seconds, and
- 5:11Speaker 3: I could tell he was saying to himself, this day
- 5:16Speaker 3: can just go.
- 5:17Speaker 4: And get royally. And we've all had those days, haven't we.
- 5:23Speaker 3: You know where you where things just go so badly
- 5:27Speaker 3: that you go, you know what the world can if off.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I'm not doing this anymore. I'm going to bed and hiding.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I'm hiding under the douve I've done.
- 5:35Speaker 6: With the shit I've had. That exact thing happen to me.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I used to be the vegy delivery boy at the
- 5:41Speaker 6: fruit shop, Easy veggie boy. I used to drive the.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Vegetable van on a Saturday morning at the fruit shop
- 5:49Speaker 5: and Todunga there and as part of that, I delivered
- 5:52Speaker 5: the eggs right And one day, while I was delivering
- 5:55Speaker 5: all the veggies and I had trays and trays of
- 5:56Speaker 5: those eggs, I forgot to strap them in and I
- 5:58Speaker 5: just went around a corner and all it probably would
- 6:01Speaker 5: have been like two hundred eggs the whole lot fell over,
- 6:03Speaker 5: an egg and yog and everything was everywhere, all throughout
- 6:06Speaker 5: the inside of the van, and the same thing.
- 6:08Speaker 6: You just look up and you just go, now, what
- 6:10Speaker 6: do I do? Did that seriously just happen? That's right,
- 6:12Speaker 6: there's a couple of things there. Not only have you
- 6:14Speaker 6: smashed them all, but now you have to tell your
- 6:17Speaker 6: boss yes, yes, then clean it all up.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Yeah, that was the other thing to us.
- 6:23Speaker 3: He just was and then he sort of bent down
- 6:25Speaker 3: and just started scooping it, scooping it with his arms
- 6:29Speaker 3: as I knock over a glass of water on the desk,
- 6:32Speaker 3: and I just went, oh god. I remember my daughter
- 6:36Speaker 3: when she became a runner on a film set. On
- 6:38Speaker 3: her first day in a van, she scraped the side
- 6:42Speaker 3: of the van on her first day in Bunnings and
- 6:45Speaker 3: just sent us a photo going what.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Do I do now?
- 6:50Speaker 4: Fortunately she was.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Very good at a job. They didn't fire her. But
- 6:53Speaker 3: I mean, we've all been there, haven't we?
- 6:55Speaker 6: Team?
- 6:56Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that is It happened to me today. I
- 7:00Speaker 5: was Infin and Jeff and inside my car putting my
- 7:02Speaker 5: hood lining back in. Yes, And and I managed to
- 7:06Speaker 5: get it all back in because it was saying and
- 7:07Speaker 5: got it repair. That's fine, putting it all back in,
- 7:09Speaker 5: putting it all back together. And I had my ratchet
- 7:12Speaker 5: tool set with me, which has all the sockets in it,
- 7:15Speaker 5: all the Imperial, all the metric. There's probably like fifty
- 7:17Speaker 5: little sockets in there. And as I hopped out, I
- 7:19Speaker 5: was holding the handle, but I only had one half
- 7:21Speaker 5: of the handle. I didn't ever closed. All of the
- 7:23Speaker 5: sockets fell out and then rolled under the car, and
- 7:26Speaker 5: I was just like, yeah, little thing like that.
- 7:30Speaker 6: I know that's that's a huge thing. And because then
- 7:33Speaker 6: I was lying on a little thing that's massive, and
- 7:35Speaker 6: I was lying on my stomach with my arm under
- 7:36Speaker 6: my car fishing them out. Yes, honestly, I would have
- 7:40Speaker 6: just gone, we're selling the house.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I'm done with this.
- 7:46Speaker 3: If you've had a day like that today it is
- 7:48Speaker 3: now I'm three four right three, or if you've ever
- 7:50Speaker 3: had a day like that, because I feel like we're
- 7:52Speaker 3: going to send some good energy to this young fella,
- 7:54Speaker 3: because he probably did get back to his bus and
- 7:57Speaker 3: he it was like, you did what Yeah, you did
- 8:00Speaker 3: what we needed those.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Three four eight three. Give us a text, every text
- 8:03Speaker 6: and the daw for fifty bucks cash thanks to Toledos.
- 8:05Speaker 6: You can also call us on eight hundred Hadarkey.
- 8:07Speaker 4: In the meantime, he's food Fighters.
- 8:11Speaker 1: The Hood Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Is indeed super groove there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
- 8:20Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon. Hope you're having a good one.
- 8:23Speaker 3: The time is four twenty six. We're talking one of
- 8:26Speaker 3: those days. So I was walking up to work today
- 8:28Speaker 3: there was a young fella coming down the hill with
- 8:30Speaker 3: a trolley full of trays of eggs, and his little
- 8:34Speaker 3: bungee cord snapped off there and hundreds and hundreds of
- 8:38Speaker 3: eggs smashed onto the pavement, and I went, we've all
- 8:42Speaker 3: been there, mate.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Yeah, and he's paused, you were saying, just looked up
- 8:45Speaker 6: into the sky for ten seconds, just.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Stopped and just went I knew exactly what was going
- 8:51Speaker 4: through his brain.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, And he couldn't say it in public, ice agest.
- 8:55Speaker 6: It's just that it would have sounded what was in
- 8:58Speaker 6: his mind would have sounded like what we hear from you,
- 9:00Speaker 6: quite a like haughty Jay, which.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Is one hundred percent. And there is something about doing
- 9:06Speaker 5: that that does kind of make you feel better.
- 9:08Speaker 6: Yeah. I shared a story earlier today. I was doing
- 9:11Speaker 6: some work on my car hopped out. I was holding
- 9:12Speaker 6: a ratchet set with all the sockets in there, my
- 9:15Speaker 6: wrenches and blah blah blah blah. Forgot to close it properly.
- 9:17Speaker 6: It opened.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Every single socket, which is about fifty sockets, rolled underneath
- 9:21Speaker 5: my car, and it had been raining and I was
- 9:23Speaker 5: lying on my stomach in the wet fishing them all out,
- 9:25Speaker 5: and then I had to put them all back in
- 9:26Speaker 5: their correct place, which is just so annoying.
- 9:29Speaker 6: A few people here. Adam Tickster, he's done the same
- 9:31Speaker 6: thing with his boss's set. However, if you open it
- 9:34Speaker 6: the wrong way, you sit it down. It's like a
- 9:35Speaker 6: toolbox thing.
- 9:36Speaker 5: You put it down on the bench and if you've
- 9:37Speaker 5: accidentally got it upside down and you open it, yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 5: all that happens is everything just falls out straight away
- 9:42Speaker 5: all over the floor.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Night time, it is a nightmare. Heaps and texts coming
- 9:47Speaker 6: through though Fellers. I had one last week where my
- 9:50Speaker 6: daughter had her school bags up on our coat wrap, yes,
- 9:54Speaker 6: and she was trying to pack her bag in the
- 9:57Speaker 6: morning to go to school. She was putting her book bag.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Her bag is an absolute shock or been meaning to
- 10:02Speaker 6: get a new one for ages. It's an absolute it's
- 10:04Speaker 6: a disgrace of a thing. So as she's putting her
- 10:07Speaker 6: book bag in there in your water bottle and your
- 10:09Speaker 6: sneaky snack lunch box. They have two lunch boxes these days,
- 10:12Speaker 6: I don't know if you know about that, and then
- 10:14Speaker 6: another lunch box and she go she puts something again,
- 10:16Speaker 6: and then she'd reach for something else to put in
- 10:19Speaker 6: to the bag, and then that last thing would fall
- 10:21Speaker 6: out and so on and so on. And after about
- 10:23Speaker 6: an hour of watching her do that, I thought, just
- 10:26Speaker 6: let me do it might be a little bit quicker.
- 10:28Speaker 6: So I am putting the things into the bag. It's
- 10:31Speaker 6: still hanging on the hook. One of the things I'm
- 10:33Speaker 6: putting there is her lunch box, which is made out
- 10:35Speaker 6: of stainless steel ways about eight hundred kilos.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Wow.
- 10:40Speaker 6: So I put that in there, and then I go
- 10:43Speaker 6: to grab something else to put it in the bag,
- 10:46Speaker 6: and then that falls out, struck vertically, plummets at one
- 10:50Speaker 6: thousand miles per hour and lands on all five toes
- 10:53Speaker 6: on my right foot. Wow. The rage it was, I
- 11:02Speaker 6: went through my toes because it was feet was it
- 11:08Speaker 6: was like beer feet. The rage went threw my toes
- 11:11Speaker 6: up my leg and all the way up to my mouth.
- 11:14Speaker 6: And what I wanted to say I couldn't obviously say
- 11:16Speaker 6: in front of my daughter because I never keys, and
- 11:19Speaker 6: this will be you know, you've got a kid coming, man,
- 11:21Speaker 6: You should never swear in front of your daughter. Just
- 11:24Speaker 6: came out just pure. Yes, that moment is just like you.
- 11:33Speaker 6: I could have sworn that I had broken my toes,
- 11:34Speaker 6: but I had it. And then of course my daughter
- 11:36Speaker 6: to make it actually be at ultimately is just dying laughing.
- 11:40Speaker 7: That is yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 6: And that's the thing too.
- 11:42Speaker 5: I feel like if like if one of you guys
- 11:44Speaker 5: was there and you'd seen all the sockets, Yes.
- 11:48Speaker 6: You guys are crazy?
- 11:50Speaker 4: Is that better or word?
- 11:51Speaker 6: I think it's better. It can depends. It can't be
- 11:54Speaker 6: too soon.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it can be too soon.
- 11:57Speaker 6: And you're like with the guy with the eggs, Yes,
- 12:00Speaker 6: did anybody laugh or did everybody just feel for her?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Everyone seriously, and I'm not joking. Everyone around him just
- 12:06Speaker 3: stopped yeah, and was just like, oh.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 12:12Speaker 3: And then he had to try and scoop them all up.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And I'm not joking. There were hundreds of eggs and.
- 12:18Speaker 6: He was scooping them with his arms.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Well, he was just.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Trying to he was just trying to get it all
- 12:22Speaker 3: in one area, you know, because it was on the pavement.
- 12:25Speaker 6: And that's I hate my life. Heaps of great techs
- 12:29Speaker 6: coming through on three four eight three, every single one
- 12:31Speaker 6: of the draw for fifty bucks cash thanks to Toledos.
- 12:34Speaker 6: This is a good one from a plumber there feelers.
- 12:36Speaker 6: I had a good day, but there was one nightment
- 12:38Speaker 6: I'm a plumber, I'm under the floor, strapping up pipes.
- 12:40Speaker 6: I'm all done and I'm heading back to the manhole.
- 12:42Speaker 6: It's more of a boy hole, but my fat ass
- 12:44Speaker 6: managed to fit. I'm flinging my tools over so I
- 12:47Speaker 6: don't have to hold them, you know, so you throw
- 12:49Speaker 6: them up at the exit there, screw guns, strapping grips, everything.
- 12:53Speaker 6: They are all perfectly expertly aimed to land right by
- 12:56Speaker 6: the exit.
- 12:57Speaker 5: And then I threw a pack of screws which hit
- 13:00Speaker 5: the side of the wall there, and the screws just
- 13:02Speaker 5: went everywhere like that is. And how many screws are
- 13:05Speaker 5: in a big pack of the screws like hundreds?
- 13:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. And it's often not massive things. It can
- 13:11Speaker 4: be the smallest.
- 13:12Speaker 3: What do they say, It's not the boulders that will
- 13:14Speaker 3: kill you, it's the pebbles.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you know that tip you over the edge.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Hey, fellers, speaking of being tipped over the edge. The
- 13:23Speaker 6: Wars played on Friday, Boy and we're going to chat
- 13:25Speaker 6: to Charlie gub Next.
- 13:27Speaker 1: The Hidarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 13:30Speaker 1: in on.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Radio Chemical Brothers.
- 13:33Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 13:38Speaker 3: The time is four thirty nine and of course the
- 13:41Speaker 3: Wars played on Friday night, and with that in mind,
- 13:46Speaker 3: we've got our Rugby league professional and ex professional himself
- 13:51Speaker 3: a Warrior is legend, the one and only Charlie gab
- 13:55Speaker 3: on the line and Charlie.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Them's the break, say.
- 14:00Speaker 8: Mate body and Matt Buster. Thank you for the good intro. Yep,
- 14:05Speaker 8: that's that's footy and even competition. We all thought we
- 14:10Speaker 8: were going to win, and we did it. We came
- 14:12Speaker 8: into a red hot Tiger side and that's just the
- 14:15Speaker 8: way they cookie crumbled on Friday.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Can I just yeah, I just got this is all I'll.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Say about it.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'd like someone else to take that.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Wait, gubby wait, I was thinking and the boys, well, yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 3: they'll pooh pooh me on this when we were chatting
- 14:33Speaker 3: on Friday night. To win, yeah by less than twelve.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Though in the back of my mind, I was like,
- 14:41Speaker 3: this is like a classic banana skin for the Warriors.
- 14:45Speaker 4: They're flying high.
- 14:47Speaker 3: The expectation is that they're going to absolutely waste these
- 14:51Speaker 3: guys who talk of fairy plus and then deduce that happens.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe a bit of that crept in. But also
- 15:03Speaker 2: the Tigers are hot.
- 15:04Speaker 8: They're frigging hot, and they were all on, all the
- 15:07Speaker 8: young boys were on, and we were off, like we
- 15:11Speaker 8: that was.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Our worst game of the season. That was their best game.
- 15:14Speaker 8: And you look around the competition, not you know, not
- 15:16Speaker 8: trying to make too many comparisons, but a lot of
- 15:19Speaker 8: good teams lost to shit teams on the weekend.
- 15:22Speaker 6: Yeah, and what like in you know, Charlie, keesy here, man,
- 15:24Speaker 6: I hope you're.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Will Yeah, good to be talking to a code head.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Yeah, get on your mate, thanks mate, conehead games not
- 15:31Speaker 6: cone code jas.
- 15:33Speaker 5: It means rugby, Charlie. You're right there, man, Like who's
- 15:37Speaker 5: the Tigers? You know, in the opening sort of twenty
- 15:39Speaker 5: minutes where you got out to a ten tohering lead,
- 15:41Speaker 5: we were looking good and then we sort of just
- 15:43Speaker 5: started making those those mistakes just crept into our game,
- 15:46Speaker 5: whereas the Tigers really strengthened and grew in confidence.
- 15:51Speaker 6: So that in your experience, is there such a.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Thing as like a bad team having a good day
- 15:55Speaker 5: and a good team having a bad day resulting in
- 15:58Speaker 5: just a.
- 15:58Speaker 6: Complete, you know, upset. Is that what we witnessed there?
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah? Definitely.
- 16:03Speaker 8: I think you know, if both teams played their best,
- 16:07Speaker 8: we were to hunt them. But we didn't, and then
- 16:10Speaker 8: that's just forty I don't know. I can't really put
- 16:12Speaker 8: it down to anything, but no one in the Warriors team,
- 16:15Speaker 8: you know, had their best game of the season.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Tanner Boyd was not perfect. No one was perfect.
- 16:20Speaker 8: And it didn't help that every time the Tigers got
- 16:23Speaker 8: down there later on in the first half, we just
- 16:27Speaker 8: they just found a way through. Their passes were finding
- 16:30Speaker 8: hand and they were finding little gaps and the Warriors
- 16:33Speaker 8: normally turn them away and get back down the other
- 16:35Speaker 8: end and build pressure.
- 16:36Speaker 2: But it was just no pressure getting built at all.
- 16:39Speaker 6: That was probably the worst thing about It's not just losing,
- 16:41Speaker 6: it's getting thirty two points put on you. That's always
- 16:44Speaker 6: what hurt me when I was out in the field
- 16:46Speaker 6: man putting in the hard yas, that's for sure.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Now.
- 16:49Speaker 6: A couple of things. One is I really liked Tanner
- 16:51Speaker 6: Boyd even though we lost. I liked he was bark
- 16:53Speaker 6: and he was passed off and he was telling everybody
- 16:55Speaker 6: about it. So I really enjoyed that. And I've just
- 16:58Speaker 6: stoked to have dw Z back. This is a d
- 17:00Speaker 6: W disease that I understand. The road cone, there was
- 17:03Speaker 6: a couple of there's a magnificent try that was scored
- 17:07Speaker 6: on his side in the second half where he jammed,
- 17:10Speaker 6: because that's what he does. He's the man. He'd be jamming,
- 17:13Speaker 6: you know. So he jammed in on the person with
- 17:15Speaker 6: the ball, but they didn't commit to that person. He
- 17:18Speaker 6: went for the space in between, not to try and
- 17:20Speaker 6: intercept it, just to confuse absolute no man's land and
- 17:25Speaker 6: got beaten. And then a try from forty meters out
- 17:28Speaker 6: because there's a lot of long range, long range tries
- 17:31Speaker 6: from really bad defensive reeds which we hadn't seen, which
- 17:35Speaker 6: we haven't seen. So I just wanted to point that
- 17:38Speaker 6: out to you, Gap because I know you love that shit.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Man a man.
- 17:42Speaker 8: See, I can't get into the DWDZ slander because he's
- 17:46Speaker 8: the man.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Oh, he's the man, don't get me wrong.
- 17:49Speaker 8: The ball, if the ball went to no man's land,
- 17:51Speaker 8: he would have got it. So my part is always
- 17:55Speaker 8: twenty twenty the other things when they look at of yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 8: Tanner boys the man, and of course when your team's
- 18:03Speaker 8: not going forward like they normally do the half, they
- 18:06Speaker 8: cain't gonna do the things that he's normally been doing
- 18:09Speaker 8: these other three games. Let's think about the teams that
- 18:12Speaker 8: were humped. They've all come out in won big games too.
- 18:16Speaker 8: The Knights just beat who do they beat.
- 18:19Speaker 6: The Knights this round? Just beat the Bulldogs the Bulldogs Wow.
- 18:25Speaker 8: Yeah, and we put the Nights away convincingly.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So it's just it's just the NRL. I think they
- 18:31Speaker 2: will definitely go to the video room.
- 18:33Speaker 8: And they'll be able to point out exactly what went
- 18:36Speaker 8: wrong and it'll just be small things.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Yeah. It feels like a classic thing of wanting to
- 18:41Speaker 6: get to the end result without putting the hard work
- 18:44Speaker 6: in first. And it felt like what they were doing
- 18:45Speaker 6: when they were on attack as well. But they'll be
- 18:48Speaker 6: back next week. Man, we'll be smashing because I think
- 18:50Speaker 6: we've got the titles week this week. I think we've
- 18:53Speaker 6: got Titans on Sunday Sunday four pm, which is great. Charlie,
- 18:57Speaker 6: do you have happy memories from the video room men?
- 19:04Speaker 8: Hy, Charlie, can you tell them?
- 19:08Speaker 6: Yeah? No, I think it'll be that one where you
- 19:11Speaker 6: gave yourself an eight.
- 19:13Speaker 8: There was one where the ANALYSISKU plaged this computer in
- 19:17Speaker 8: and on a tabb he had shaven milk.
- 19:21Speaker 2: He was a little bit of red tube up there.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Hey, Gabby, well let's hope the fellas, in the words
- 19:31Speaker 3: of the Great Steve Hanson, flushed the duney and just
- 19:34Speaker 3: move on to the next game, mate, who was your
- 19:36Speaker 3: porl loop player?
- 19:38Speaker 4: Porter King Jesus he said, bash.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Me for that Porta King, clar of the day, Portal
- 19:47Speaker 2: King Claire to day he didn't play to go.
- 19:48Speaker 8: But I'm still just going to give it to Luke
- 19:50Speaker 8: Metcalf because he's back and for us to have be
- 19:54Speaker 8: there in the end, you know, winning finals games when
- 19:56Speaker 8: need Metcalf at his back, so at his best, so
- 19:59Speaker 8: he can get road big about.
- 20:02Speaker 6: Yeah, good on your mate. Once again, if you're in
- 20:04Speaker 6: the Wellington area and you need a poor loo, hit
- 20:05Speaker 6: up Port King and Uncle Charlie will sort you out
- 20:08Speaker 6: until next week. Charlie, yep not, dear fellas, good on
- 20:12Speaker 6: you make your baby.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Here's Guns.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Roses the Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Guns Roses there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 20:29Speaker 3: Monday afternoon.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Let's talk TV.
- 20:35Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 20:41Speaker 6: Yeah, fellows, I don't really watch anything over the weekend,
- 20:46Speaker 6: I don't think, except for the WAZ and I missed
- 20:50Speaker 6: even miss israel O Sonia lose for the fourth time
- 20:52Speaker 6: in a row, so that was devastating.
- 20:54Speaker 4: What's happening there.
- 20:55Speaker 6: It's just for me. I wasn't worried about missing up
- 20:58Speaker 6: because I just feel I feel like he's lost his mojo.
- 21:02Speaker 6: He should stop and it makes me sad. And knowing
- 21:06Speaker 6: when to stop his difficult. It's got nothing to do
- 21:08Speaker 6: with me. You can do whatever he wants, but for me,
- 21:10Speaker 6: I just get a little bit sad when when they're
- 21:12Speaker 6: not at their peak. You know, I hate I love
- 21:14Speaker 6: them and I hate seeing them lose. Kills me, absolutely
- 21:16Speaker 6: hate it. But anyway, Fellers tomorrow and some sad news
- 21:20Speaker 6: for you guys. I've got tomorrow off, taking the day
- 21:23Speaker 6: off the show, So everybody out there still tuning, and
- 21:25Speaker 6: I know it's not the same. It's going to be amazing.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Big Dilly is going to come in for a bit
- 21:30Speaker 6: of chat. What's he into? What's Big Dilli into? You
- 21:32Speaker 6: don't want to know? It is that. But the reason
- 21:37Speaker 6: why I'm not going to be here is because I'm
- 21:39Speaker 6: going out for the tenth anniversary cast and crew sort
- 21:44Speaker 6: of screening for Hunt for the Wilder People. It's a
- 21:46Speaker 6: ten year anniversary of its first release. Wow, and you'll remember,
- 21:50Speaker 6: of course that I played a pivotal role in that movie.
- 21:52Speaker 6: You were one of the hunters. I was one of
- 21:53Speaker 6: the hunters. Cohen Holloway and Stan Walker and Stan Walker, Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 6: we were the three Hunters. And of course you're a me.
- 22:00Speaker 6: But my name and that keasy was old old Joe
- 22:04Speaker 6: the Hunter. Joe the Hunter. I'm amazed that he got
- 22:07Speaker 6: a name because you didn't have a hell of a
- 22:09Speaker 6: lot to say in the film. Oh he did a
- 22:12Speaker 6: lot of it. I don't know. Tiger said, it was
- 22:14Speaker 6: cutting room Floyd time. There's a really big storyline for Joe,
- 22:20Speaker 6: you know, falls in love, all sorts of stuff, but
- 22:21Speaker 6: they had to cut out just a bit short on time,
- 22:23Speaker 6: which is a shame. So I'll be out there, Tiger
- 22:27Speaker 6: will be there, along with all of the cast, Julian Dennison,
- 22:30Speaker 6: Rachel House, Troy Kingy, Cohen Holloway. I'll be missing people.
- 22:34Speaker 6: I Sam Neil, he's a big one. So they've got
- 22:37Speaker 6: these big screenings happening, and they've got them happening all Easter,
- 22:40Speaker 6: so you can go along and watch them. I think
- 22:43Speaker 6: they start on from Wednesday and then go all the
- 22:46Speaker 6: way through till Sunday or Monday. Can I just say,
- 22:49Speaker 6: if you're sitting here listening to this and you haven't
- 22:51Speaker 6: seen Hunt for the Wilder People, it is my all
- 22:53Speaker 6: time favorite New Zealand film? Is it really? Undred percent?
- 22:56Speaker 6: Because I went and saw it at the pictures with
- 23:00Speaker 6: my wife and I went in there going, oh, this
- 23:04Speaker 6: will be fine. Yeah, And I left there being like
- 23:06Speaker 6: that movie ruled, And we went again the next weekend
- 23:08Speaker 6: and watched it again pictures. That must have happened quite
- 23:11Speaker 6: a lot because it's the highest grossing New Zealand film
- 23:14Speaker 6: of all time, and I think there was a lot
- 23:16Speaker 6: of repeat watchers. Yes, and like it's not just funny,
- 23:18Speaker 6: but it's really heartwarming and at the start and the
- 23:21Speaker 6: songs and stuff and like and the whole time when
- 23:23Speaker 6: I'm watching it, I'm like, I reckon I could I
- 23:25Speaker 6: could survive as a Wilder person with Sam Neil and
- 23:28Speaker 6: Julian the Hunters made it look easy. I can imagine.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Yeah, But my favorite was by far Joe the Hunter.
- 23:36Speaker 5: I wanted more from.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Him so good.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I didn't like it, Fellows.
- 23:42Speaker 6: What I was going to say is, if you haven't
- 23:43Speaker 6: seen it, go and see it this weekend.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Totally.
- 23:45Speaker 3: It's a great film. It is a great film. I
- 23:47Speaker 3: watched a home movie last night.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Hey here he is.
- 23:51Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:52Speaker 6: Gross? How long was it?
- 23:59Speaker 4: Yeah, good question, Margie. I mean there was no measuring
- 24:03Speaker 4: going on. I can tell you that much.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Was it a pawn?
- 24:06Speaker 4: Pardon?
- 24:07Speaker 6: What was the home video of it?
- 24:09Speaker 3: Was actually my wife's mum and she knew that's weird.
- 24:19Speaker 3: He made a home movie about her dad.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Who was Actually he was a war here. He was
- 24:31Speaker 4: a war hero.
- 24:32Speaker 6: I don't want to know the scenario.
- 24:34Speaker 4: He was a war hero, true story. There's been a
- 24:36Speaker 4: book written about him as well.
- 24:38Speaker 6: I don't tell me. He got taken captain over.
- 24:40Speaker 4: And over in Italy.
- 24:42Speaker 3: There he became like a He got captured in the
- 24:44Speaker 3: escape and became a lone wolf from a small village
- 24:48Speaker 3: and the small village in Italy and became famous amongst
- 24:51Speaker 3: the locals.
- 24:52Speaker 4: They called him Franco. His name was Frank.
- 24:55Speaker 3: And he blew up you know German installations, blew up railway,
- 25:00Speaker 3: got rid of all the bad Nazis around the place
- 25:03Speaker 3: pretty much by sound. He left the good Natzis alone
- 25:07Speaker 3: and blew up the bad ones. But in all seriousness,
- 25:09Speaker 3: he he was a hero. There's been a book written
- 25:12Speaker 3: about him, and so my wife's mum, who's dad it was?
- 25:17Speaker 4: He went over there and.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Sort of retraced his steps, Wow, and made a movie
- 25:20Speaker 3: about it.
- 25:21Speaker 6: It's very good. How many buzzies out of five?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Two The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 25:32Speaker 3: You're welcome back here, massive backbones. Hope you're surviving your Monday.
- 25:36Speaker 3: You're listening to.
- 25:37Speaker 4: The Big Show, brought to you by the one and only.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Toledo Rehydrate the right way with Toledo's.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Real ingredients and natural colors, Toledo's.
- 25:51Speaker 6: How you do it?
- 25:52Speaker 3: Have we had any feedback from Toledo's about this new
- 25:55Speaker 3: sort of sting that we're running here?
- 25:57Speaker 6: Yeah, they take through? Can you stop it? That was
- 26:00Speaker 6: last week?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Yeah, we're going to make it work. Fellas,
- 26:05Speaker 3: we are going to make it work.
- 26:07Speaker 6: I know a good thing when I hear it.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Totally, Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Hey, huge hour coming up. Feelers, mog you went out
- 26:13Speaker 6: on Saturday. I sure did, Holy moldly, I'm sure did.
- 26:16Speaker 4: You're right man?
- 26:17Speaker 6: Not really, man, I'm sure recovering. I reckon Wednesdays should
- 26:20Speaker 6: be about right. And Jay Scott his hair washed.
- 26:24Speaker 4: It was hot, man, seriously, what it was hot?
- 26:29Speaker 3: And I It's funny, isn't it, Because you guys are
- 26:33Speaker 3: usually so observant when I get something new happening today,
- 26:39Speaker 3: not a word.
- 26:40Speaker 6: No, what about your new haircut?
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah? Not a word.
- 26:43Speaker 6: Yeah. Is that a new hat that you wearing on
- 26:45Speaker 6: top of your new haircut?
- 26:47Speaker 4: No, Magie, do you not have X ray vision?
- 26:49Speaker 6: Magi? Also, keep your ears peeled.
- 26:53Speaker 5: It's not the same. Yes, it's keeping your eyes peeled.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Keep your ears pierced. Because at some point soon the
- 27:00Speaker 5: magic ground Quit car will play. And if you get
- 27:02Speaker 5: on the old horn there and give us a call
- 27:03Speaker 5: on oh eight hundred Hadarchy, you could get yourself in
- 27:05Speaker 5: the drawer beautiful.
- 27:07Speaker 4: In the meantime, here's the Killers.
- 27:09Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 27:12Speaker 6: Tune in on.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Radio Lucky stink this there on the radio, Holdankey, Big
- 27:18Speaker 3: show by Tool.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Wasn't that your nickname in high school? Jase? Jase? I
- 27:26Speaker 6: went out on Saturday night. Man, I meant Tool. By
- 27:28Speaker 6: the way they school, we.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Did you, MURGI.
- 27:35Speaker 6: Let's how you do it? Fellas I did, and against
- 27:38Speaker 6: my better judgment because I also went out alone. I
- 27:40Speaker 6: didn't go out with my wife. Yes, she managed to
- 27:42Speaker 6: avoid it. Now, I don't like leaving the house on
- 27:47Speaker 6: the weekends generally speaking, especially at the moment, but well
- 27:49Speaker 6: only at the moment because I'm not drinking, so if
- 27:51Speaker 6: I'm leaving the house, so it can be a bit tempting.
- 27:55Speaker 6: So I'd just like to stay in by about nine o'clock,
- 27:58Speaker 6: you know, but I'll go out now. It was miles away,
- 28:02Speaker 6: is another thing, So take about half an hour to
- 28:04Speaker 6: get there, half an hour forty minutes, and then when
- 28:07Speaker 6: I get there, I don't even want to really do
- 28:08Speaker 6: the thing that I've got to do. So it's sort
- 28:10Speaker 6: of like one of those things where you know, it's
- 28:13Speaker 6: like with family and friends and things, you've got obligations, duties. Yes,
- 28:17Speaker 6: you don't want to do it, of course you don't. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:19Speaker 6: but you do it because you have to do it.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Because you do it because not because not because you
- 28:25Speaker 6: want to, not because it's got to the merit, but
- 28:28Speaker 6: because it's the right thing to do. Yes, what was it?
- 28:31Speaker 6: I had to go and see Jason's wife's play, seed
- 28:37Speaker 6: Seed Seed. Now it was out at the Titsy Playhouse
- 28:42Speaker 6: or theater. I've not seen a play there before. Yeah. God,
- 28:47Speaker 6: she's a long bastard of a drive if you don't
- 28:49Speaker 6: live out there. If you live out there, it's fine
- 28:51Speaker 6: because it's right on your doorstair.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Totally to that used to be my trip home every day.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Mate did it, yeah, of course, and then.
- 28:58Speaker 6: Did it Yeah, bloody moles, I don't know you lived
- 29:01Speaker 6: in the.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Tits Well just down from the tits.
- 29:07Speaker 6: Beautiful little township relatively recently for a mate's fiftieth and
- 29:12Speaker 6: drove through there. But it was fear of bustling when
- 29:15Speaker 6: I when I went to the play there, there's a
- 29:16Speaker 6: few different bars and things. Of course, when I came out,
- 29:19Speaker 6: the whole place was dead.
- 29:20Speaker 4: She was all over it shut down pretty early out west.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Yeah. So I got in there to the play there,
- 29:26Speaker 6: and I thought I'd go and get myself some treat
- 29:31Speaker 6: from the candy counter there. A couple of old time
- 29:33Speaker 6: classic you know, sort of small small, sort of suburb theater,
- 29:37Speaker 6: A couple of old timers there, Yes, lovely, lovely people.
- 29:41Speaker 6: I got myself a small thing of pringles and a
- 29:45Speaker 6: chocolate bar for seven bucks. That's that's way more enjoyable
- 29:48Speaker 6: than booze making. It's like a time warp out there, totally.
- 29:52Speaker 6: You can't buy anything for seven bucks.
- 29:54Speaker 4: It's incredible.
- 29:56Speaker 6: So I headed on to the manager. I said, listen
- 29:58Speaker 6: to me, you arediots leaving money on the You've got
- 30:01Speaker 6: a captive audience here. You need to double all your prices.
- 30:04Speaker 6: So they've taken that on board. So that's happening moving forward,
- 30:06Speaker 6: so possibly going to be less people going to the theater,
- 30:09Speaker 6: moving too expensive. But it was sold out, man, Yes,
- 30:11Speaker 6: it was absolutely rammed. Now I understand Hodak. He had
- 30:15Speaker 6: had a bit to do with getting more people through
- 30:17Speaker 6: the doors because we weren't talking about it on here
- 30:19Speaker 6: so much. But there was not a backbone to be seen.
- 30:21Speaker 6: It was all sort of your blue hair set or
- 30:25Speaker 6: sort of teenagers actually quite a lot of teenagers. Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 6: that's interesting, Yeah it was.
- 30:30Speaker 3: It was well that's kind of our audience though, teenagers
- 30:33Speaker 3: and the blue head set.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally. And if I had I watched
- 30:40Speaker 6: the play, of course, yes. My review is long, bastard, yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 6: duration wise, starting with that startle at eight right and
- 30:52Speaker 6: finished at ten thirty. I got eleven.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that's rough.
- 30:56Speaker 6: Yeah, that's too long.
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree.
- 31:00Speaker 6: So that's my main sort of note. But I mean
- 31:03Speaker 6: you have to give the play credit because it builds
- 31:06Speaker 6: up and it builds up and it is long. But
- 31:07Speaker 6: then when you get to the end of the payoff,
- 31:08Speaker 6: is worth it? No, I was gone by the payoff.
- 31:11Speaker 6: You need to beat the traffic I find it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 6: absolutely Well if I have left it, then all of
- 31:19Speaker 6: those old people would have left. Yeah. I would have
- 31:21Speaker 6: been stuck behind those bastards going thirty back to the city.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Yeah that's a fair point.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Mag old. Oh yeah, yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Well, as I said to you.
- 31:32Speaker 3: When I went on the opening night, I ended up
- 31:34Speaker 3: having to leave my car because I got locked in
- 31:36Speaker 3: by the library out the gate down.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah that was blood right.
- 31:41Speaker 6: Oh it's good stuff. Well anyway it was. It was
- 31:44Speaker 6: nice to be out, but even better to be home.
- 31:47Speaker 6: I highly recommend to go along to see the play
- 31:48Speaker 6: if you can finish, Yeah, finish on sold out, sold out. Man,
- 31:54Speaker 6: I got to park right outside.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Yeah, of course you did.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Keasy, not to brag or anything.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Hey, here's Pluto the Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 32:08Speaker 1: on Radio Hodarchy.
- 32:09Speaker 3: This is indeed sound Garden there on the radio Hodarchy
- 32:12Speaker 3: Big Show, This Moody Monday afternoon.
- 32:16Speaker 6: Hey failers. Last week we did this thing where we
- 32:22Speaker 6: set up with this thing called a pot for the
- 32:23Speaker 6: warriors taking on the tigers. And then they put Old
- 32:26Speaker 6: Kezy in charge of this thing called the pot, and
- 32:28Speaker 6: then listeners could use their own money put it in
- 32:31Speaker 6: the pot, and then I would place bets and then
- 32:34Speaker 6: the listeners would reap the rewards.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Of my bets. First we've ever done it. I've never
- 32:39Speaker 5: been involved with it. Thought it would be really fun,
- 32:41Speaker 5: and it was very fun. There was a group chat going.
- 32:44Speaker 5: We raised a wee bit of money, put it in
- 32:46Speaker 5: this pot. Guess how much money was in there?
- 32:49Speaker 6: Was that quite high by the time.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd go fifteen hundred dollars exactly what was in
- 32:54Speaker 5: the fifteen hundred and one dollars. And this is listener's money.
- 32:57Speaker 5: And of course when you put money in and it's
- 33:00Speaker 5: run by me, you are basically putting your financial investment
- 33:04Speaker 5: into a guy on the radio.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're about to tell me that you bought
- 33:07Speaker 3: some lego, I'm going to be furious.
- 33:10Speaker 6: No, No, I couldn't extract the money and use it to
- 33:12Speaker 6: buy Lego. Oh what if I could? Man, what if
- 33:14Speaker 6: I could? Now there's a group chat.
- 33:17Speaker 5: It was running all day for a few days even,
- 33:19Speaker 5: and I basically was like to everyone, Hey, what bits
- 33:23Speaker 5: do you think I should place on this Warrior's game?
- 33:24Speaker 5: And everyone was giving me advice. I then placed took
- 33:28Speaker 5: what they had to say into account, and then placed
- 33:31Speaker 5: some bits with the listener's money with.
- 33:33Speaker 6: One and a half thousand dollars.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Yes, did you spend? Did you place bits for all
- 33:38Speaker 4: of it?
- 33:38Speaker 6: That's what you're supposed to do?
- 33:39Speaker 4: Yeah, right, okay, one hundred percent.
- 33:41Speaker 6: Now, so what I'm going to do is if I
- 33:44Speaker 6: got the bit correct and if I got it wrong.
- 33:48Speaker 5: Okay, so here are my bits. Now, let's just remember
- 33:52Speaker 5: that the Warriors lost.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I was on our show. I predicted that the
- 33:55Speaker 6: Warriors would win by thirty. Yes, we lost by twenty. Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 6: one hundred percent. I I was definitely thirtyen plus Wars.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Everyone was on the same everyone's on the same wave link. Okay,
- 34:04Speaker 6: so what do we got here? The very first bet? Now,
- 34:08Speaker 6: this was my safe bet. Yes, half the money, all right?
- 34:13Speaker 6: Jackson Ford to have over one hundred and fifty run
- 34:15Speaker 6: meters over thirty one points total that the Warriors would score,
- 34:23Speaker 6: and it was Lequa Huller seeming to score a try.
- 34:25Speaker 6: That was my safe bet. That was all three of
- 34:27Speaker 6: those things they had, daben. Yeah, it was a multi.
- 34:29Speaker 6: It was gonna be my safe bet. That was your
- 34:31Speaker 6: safe one. Yes, seven hundred and fifty dollars. That was
- 34:35Speaker 6: seven hundred and fifty dollars.
- 34:36Speaker 5: And guess what the first comment under it was, come on, CAZy,
- 34:40Speaker 5: this is vanilla.
- 34:41Speaker 6: We don't want lights off missionary. Give us something good. Well,
- 34:45Speaker 6: you know in hindsight that is lights out a shocker,
- 34:49Speaker 6: but they were saying it's a safe boring. Yeah, that's
- 34:51Speaker 6: what I mean. Yeah, one hundred percent. And so okay,
- 34:54Speaker 6: I was like, okay, cool, let's spice it up. And
- 34:56Speaker 6: then I put two hundred dollars on Luke Metcalf to
- 34:58Speaker 6: be the first try scorer first game back. You could
- 35:01Speaker 6: see the narrative. If it was a runaway and he
- 35:03Speaker 6: was there, that's right to him to score on his return.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Totally.
- 35:06Speaker 6: The sensible way to look at it would be he
- 35:08Speaker 6: hasn't played a game for almost a year. He hasn't
- 35:12Speaker 6: even come back into reserve grade. He's only been at training.
- 35:14Speaker 6: He's probably going to be pretty rusty. Yeah, take a
- 35:17Speaker 6: while again.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Yeah, So Luke Mtcarr first try scorer, two hundred dollars listeners.
- 35:24Speaker 6: Money, that's nine fifty down nine and the whole. Okay,
- 35:28Speaker 6: I haven't. I haven't gambled one thousand dollars in my life.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Neither have I. Next trys and once again I was taking.
- 35:36Speaker 6: Everyone was messaging the group telling me what I should
- 35:38Speaker 6: bet on. Someone was like, I've got a good feel
- 35:39Speaker 6: about James Fisher Harris.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Okay, so fifty bucks James Fisher Harris anytime try scorer
- 35:44Speaker 5: seven dollars twenty five that was.
- 35:46Speaker 6: Paying, So that didn't that's a grand gone. Yeah right,
- 35:53Speaker 6: really good feeling. Everyone had a really good feeling about
- 35:56Speaker 6: these good feelings that a lot of people base it
- 35:59Speaker 6: on knowledge. Yes, stay exactly, but we're going with feelings.
- 36:07Speaker 6: Everybody has got different feelings so happening at the same time.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Give them a value of nothing. My safe value multi
- 36:15Speaker 6: was based on knowledge. That was based on knowledge of once.
- 36:18Speaker 6: So the rest of them are all feelings. Yeah. So
- 36:20Speaker 6: Jackson Ford to score a try two hundred bucks. Jackson
- 36:24Speaker 6: for He's scored tries in the last two games.
- 36:27Speaker 4: You know he's not going to he used them all
- 36:29Speaker 4: up easy.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:30Speaker 6: And I know the Tigers are really good defensively through
- 36:32Speaker 6: the middle two and I was like, I don't think
- 36:33Speaker 6: and then they were like key And then the rest
- 36:37Speaker 6: of it? What are we at the three bucks to
- 36:39Speaker 6: get three? Yeah? The rest of it.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I must have missed one bet, so I'll just the
- 36:46Speaker 5: rest of it. I put on Tennis hours Smith to
- 36:48Speaker 5: score a try off the bench because they wanted me
- 36:49Speaker 5: to put the rest of the money on the highest
- 36:51Speaker 5: paying player.
- 36:52Speaker 6: To score a try. I lost all of the money.
- 36:58Speaker 6: All of the money is gone.
- 36:59Speaker 5: The listeners gave me one thousand and five hundred dollars
- 37:02Speaker 5: and I got I lost all of it, and the
- 37:05Speaker 5: group chat went from very supportive and very fun to
- 37:09Speaker 5: just a deluge of people absolutely giving it to me.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Can we do another break with the comments? Is that possible?
- 37:16Speaker 6: Because I've got more to talk about with this, so
- 37:18Speaker 6: I'm not done with this, Okay, sure, Yeah, let's drag
- 37:20Speaker 6: this out.
- 37:22Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Holdiking Radio Head.
- 37:27Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hold Archy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 37:30Speaker 3: It's twenty minutes to six o'clock. And we were just discussing.
- 37:33Speaker 3: In the previous voice breakal Keys. He had a pop
- 37:37Speaker 3: put together that he could gamble with the punter's money.
- 37:41Speaker 4: There was fifteen hundred dollars in the pot.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Fifteen hundred dollars and I had to place the bits
- 37:45Speaker 5: on the Wars game from Friday night. Yes, And there
- 37:47Speaker 5: was a group chat going and everyone you know, I
- 37:50Speaker 5: reckon Litdle been about between thirty and fifty people in
- 37:52Speaker 5: this pot, yes, and they each would have put, you know,
- 37:54Speaker 5: fifty off. I don't know, but it was really funny
- 37:57Speaker 5: because everyone's got funny nicknames in the group chat and
- 37:59Speaker 5: everyone's cheer opening and suggesting bets.
- 38:02Speaker 6: I lost all of it, every every penny. God was
- 38:05Speaker 6: funny about these is. There's a few radio shows and
- 38:07Speaker 6: things around the joint that do this, do this thing
- 38:09Speaker 6: that Keezy did last week, and every single one of
- 38:12Speaker 6: them loses every single week. Yeah, sometimes they don't, and
- 38:15Speaker 6: it's a big deal. It's very very rare.
- 38:17Speaker 4: I could.
- 38:17Speaker 6: I couldn't even tell you how many times because I
- 38:19Speaker 6: listened to a few of them, obviously, and they just
- 38:23Speaker 6: that every man is an idiot and you can no
- 38:25Speaker 6: offense Keezy. But the bets that have been made here
- 38:29Speaker 6: are a disgraced because you're talking about I had a
- 38:31Speaker 6: feeling people in the chat had a feeling, correct, that's how.
- 38:34Speaker 6: And then next thing, you know, oh you've got sweet
- 38:37Speaker 6: seven hundred and fifty bucks on that feeling that one
- 38:41Speaker 6: sanity that one wasn't educated.
- 38:44Speaker 5: There was an educated bit there. That was my safe
- 38:46Speaker 5: bet that go. No lost obviously, but okay, so here's.
- 38:52Speaker 4: In the lead up.
- 38:53Speaker 6: Everyone was very supportive of suggesting bets, and you got
- 38:55Speaker 6: to take what they say into account. They bought in
- 38:57Speaker 6: that shierholder one hundred percent, and so I'm like, yeah, sure,
- 38:59Speaker 6: I play it for you, and blah bla blahlah blah,
- 39:01Speaker 6: and we put it all together, we lose everything and
- 39:03Speaker 6: then instantly the you know, the flick of a switch,
- 39:07Speaker 6: the group chat changes. It changes from being quite entertaining
- 39:11Speaker 6: to quite the opposite.
- 39:13Speaker 5: It reminded me of when I accidentally had a massive
- 39:15Speaker 5: commentator's curse on Harris Devita when he was about to
- 39:18Speaker 5: catch and I said, surely not even he will miss
- 39:20Speaker 5: it from here two years ago, and then we lost
- 39:21Speaker 5: the game and it was a deluge of hate texts.
- 39:25Speaker 6: Yes, this was very similar. So people here.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Apple Crumble says I have lost an unfeathiable amount of
- 39:31Speaker 5: money on Keezy's Shiit bets here G eighty eight, Keysy,
- 39:35Speaker 5: you suck smart Tactics three ninety eight looks like I'm
- 39:39Speaker 5: walking to.
- 39:39Speaker 6: Work our year now. Wife is spewing. Told her Keysy's
- 39:44Speaker 6: got us? Anyone got a spear pair to crash at
- 39:48Speaker 6: broke Boys. I think I speak for everyone here when
- 39:52Speaker 6: I say I'd like to have an apology live on
- 39:53Speaker 6: air on Monday. That's from Josh for one. Two.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Let me just find the next ones here because it
- 39:58Speaker 5: just does not stop. Oh you now one out of
- 40:01Speaker 5: five buzzies, Keyzy if if you meet Paddy nipped bastard, and.
- 40:06Speaker 6: That is from t Roy Lucier seven says ice Cube
- 40:11Speaker 6: sandwich for dinner tonight.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Cheers for that mate. It is Yeah, just went on
- 40:16Speaker 3: and on and on, and I'm not surprised. I mean,
- 40:19Speaker 3: you couldn't have done any worse. No, you you literally lost.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Every bit that would play.
- 40:27Speaker 6: Yes, that's right, you may eight or nine bits.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Surely maybe one of them comes through.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Well, this is the issue is someone on the group
- 40:35Speaker 6: Chet was like, have we not been on the tigers
- 40:36Speaker 6: at all yeah, and I am like, I will never
- 40:39Speaker 6: bet on the Tigers ever against the Warriors, absolutely not.
- 40:42Speaker 6: Like do I have to consider do I now have
- 40:44Speaker 6: to have happiness insurance? Well, yeah, there is that idea
- 40:48Speaker 6: of you generally would put some money on whom ever
- 40:50Speaker 6: is marking d w Z.
- 40:52Speaker 5: Yeah, because he jams and he does a little bit.
- 40:55Speaker 5: Well he did it the weekend. He'd been good prior
- 40:56Speaker 5: to that, Yeah, he would have. That would have paid
- 40:59Speaker 5: quite a bit.
- 41:00Speaker 6: I think we should keep it telling as well. Ja,
- 41:01Speaker 6: so far I'm at I've gambled nothing and I'm at
- 41:05Speaker 6: zero dollars. So you're yeah, I'm even, You're even, You're
- 41:08Speaker 6: even as well, I'm even easy as sitting at minus
- 41:11Speaker 6: thirteen hundred.
- 41:12Speaker 5: Fifteen hundred and one dollars. But we'll be back in
- 41:15Speaker 5: a month's time. We could do it all again. There
- 41:16Speaker 5: feels and I'm not feeling the pressure at all. So
- 41:20Speaker 5: we're just keeping her out for that good stuff.
- 41:23Speaker 6: Mate.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Here's the Black Crows.

- 45:12Speaker 3: the moment about what's for dinner because my daughter is
- 45:15Speaker 3: still with us, and so we've been doing a lot
- 45:17Speaker 3: of eating out team. In fact, there's been very little
- 45:20Speaker 3: cooking whatsoever. It's just ah, let's go here next, and
- 45:25Speaker 3: let's go here next.
- 45:26Speaker 6: Is there your daughter suggesting that?
- 45:28Speaker 3: My daughter absolutely is obsessed with food. She loves good food.
- 45:36Speaker 3: It's her joy in life. There is no exaggeration. We
- 45:39Speaker 3: had this amazing meal on Friday night, and she was
- 45:43Speaker 3: so excited that she was.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Literally bouncing in her chair. When she gets really good food,
- 45:49Speaker 4: she actually starts bouncing in her chair.
- 45:51Speaker 6: Goes, oh my god, oh my god. That's what toddlers do.
- 45:57Speaker 3: But she's just so into good food and she's a
- 46:00Speaker 3: bit of a gourmet her show.
- 46:01Speaker 6: Hence why she's insisting on not eating at your place.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Sex out of ten, Sex out of ten for your food,
- 46:09Speaker 6: jakes ten out of ten for that comment. Keysy, thank you?
- 46:14Speaker 2: What are you?
- 46:15Speaker 6: What are you having? Moggie? Absolutely no idea whatsoever. It's
- 46:20Speaker 6: a mystery meal for old Maggie tonight. My wife and
- 46:23Speaker 6: I still work. I don't care what.
- 46:24Speaker 4: I don't care what you're having. Key, we're still working.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Don't keep it to yourself, pal pal.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Don't pal me, Oh buddy, old Pound. I was just
- 46:34Speaker 6: joking around, Jason, mate, watch out, he's going to do
- 46:37Speaker 6: it again. No, I'm not.

- 47:07Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. The time fourteen minutes past six o'clock and
- 47:12Speaker 3: fellas over the weekend. I had quite a deeply erotic experience.
- 47:19Speaker 2: And.
- 47:22Speaker 3: It came from a place I wasn't expecting it to
- 47:24Speaker 3: come from. Took me by surprise, which I guess is
- 47:27Speaker 3: what made.
- 47:28Speaker 4: It quite erotic.
- 47:29Speaker 6: Where did it come from?
- 47:32Speaker 4: I was walking with my wife and my daughter.
- 47:35Speaker 3: We just had lunch in the little marketplace down at
- 47:38Speaker 3: Britain up there markets there every Saturday, apparently just for
- 47:41Speaker 3: the record sixty music.
- 47:42Speaker 6: Until the family are out of the.
- 47:45Speaker 4: And we're walking through a little alley way. Yeah you
- 47:51Speaker 4: know what I'm talking about, feels we were walking through it.
- 47:55Speaker 6: I actually just walking, yes.
- 47:58Speaker 3: And as we were walking through, Sure, and I saw
- 48:00Speaker 3: a pretty cool funky looking barbershop.

- 48:11Speaker 6: let's take a knee for a cent old captain just
- 48:15Speaker 6: needs to.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Yes nice, And I said, would you guys mind if
- 48:26Speaker 3: I just whip it and get a quick fade?
- 48:30Speaker 4: That's what I see. I did that.
- 48:34Speaker 3: And they were like, yeah, that's fine. We'll go and
- 48:36Speaker 3: do a bit of a shop around. Go and get
- 48:38Speaker 3: another coffee.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Say great, break, high five, high five everybody.
- 48:46Speaker 3: So anyway, I went into the barbershop and there's a
- 48:49Speaker 3: young fellow there and there was no one in the
- 48:51Speaker 3: in the barber shop. And then he said good a mate,
- 48:54Speaker 3: and I said good mate. Just after a hecut, I
- 48:55Speaker 3: said all good, and he said, oh, just give me
- 48:57Speaker 3: a second. He checked his book, no bookings, because he
- 48:59Speaker 3: asked me if I booked and I said nah, So
- 49:02Speaker 3: he said yeah, that should be fine man. And then
- 49:06Speaker 3: I was sitting there and my hair had already been
- 49:08Speaker 3: made up for the day. Feelings, Oh yeah, you know,
- 49:10Speaker 3: it was looking good. It was looking pretty sharp. I
- 49:12Speaker 3: didn't even know that I needed a haircut, but I
- 49:14Speaker 3: wanted to get a bit of I wanted to get
- 49:16Speaker 3: a fade action going on on a Haughly jay there
- 49:19Speaker 3: and he said what he after?
- 49:21Speaker 4: I said, a fade man.
- 49:23Speaker 6: Number two and he went, sorry, the toilets out of order.
- 49:27Speaker 3: No, no problem at all, man, no problem at all.
- 49:30Speaker 3: And a bit of length off the top there. I said, yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 3: why not just an inch or two? And he said
- 49:34Speaker 3: if you put products in your hair today?
- 49:36Speaker 4: And I said the sixy part. But getting to that casey,
- 49:41Speaker 4: this is typical of you. You just want the sex
- 49:43Speaker 4: straight off the back. Three minutes into this you've got
- 49:46Speaker 4: no four You've got no sense of foreplay at all.
- 49:50Speaker 6: Yeah, true, carry on?
- 49:52Speaker 3: And he said have you got product in your hair?
- 49:54Speaker 3: And I said, oh, yes, I do. Actually he said,
- 49:56Speaker 3: we better give it a wash then, and I true story.
- 50:02Speaker 3: No one's ever washed my hair for me before. And
- 50:06Speaker 3: it took me to the and film.
- 50:07Speaker 6: They would have washed you here. No really, no, it's
- 50:11Speaker 6: so good.
- 50:12Speaker 4: They put that dry shampoo and you know where it
- 50:15Speaker 4: just it's like a powder. But anyway, my dog.
- 50:20Speaker 3: He took me into a back room and he's he
- 50:23Speaker 3: just laid back here, old chum, and I lay back
- 50:29Speaker 3: in this specially designed sync there.
- 50:32Speaker 4: Poor, he's not too hot, is it? And I was like, nah, man,
- 50:35Speaker 4: that feels good. Nice, it feels good. And he leathered
- 50:39Speaker 4: me up. He leathered me up so good, truth, so
- 50:44Speaker 4: good man, and he had quite firm hands. And I,
- 50:50Speaker 4: I don't know, I just I felt good, fellas, no good,
- 50:54Speaker 4: real good. It's a been a strain going on.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Then he washed it out, put it a conditioner, and
- 51:01Speaker 3: I see conditioner as well.
- 51:02Speaker 4: Conditioner, yeah, and I just heard.
- 51:06Speaker 6: It pretty conditioner. What kind of sicko conditions is here?
- 51:14Speaker 4: At least I think it was conditioner.
- 51:19Speaker 1: The hold Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 51:22Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Aki.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Is indeed the cure.
- 51:26Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hold Aki Big Show this Monday evening,
- 51:30Speaker 3: let's give out some advice, fellows.
- 51:35Speaker 6: St.
- 51:39Speaker 4: Get in touch with their feelers.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Can you stop ruining the sting so much? It's actually
- 51:48Speaker 6: better than the questions? I think so, especially lately. See
- 51:51Speaker 6: if it's different today.
- 51:52Speaker 5: Okay, now, fellows, this one came through from a bloke
- 51:55Speaker 5: called Dave Rennie and I've got the I've got the segments.
- 52:01Speaker 5: So this one comes from anonymous, and it's one hundred
- 52:05Speaker 5: percent anonymous. Me patting up sixty nine gmail dot com.
- 52:07Speaker 5: If you get in touch with an advice question we
- 52:09Speaker 5: read it on the show, you get a prize.
- 52:11Speaker 6: Get out there feelers. You were recently chatting about family
- 52:14Speaker 6: cheek issues, which reminded me of a family oddity of
- 52:17Speaker 6: my own. And when he says that, he means the
- 52:19Speaker 6: whole do you go in for a kiss on the cheek?
- 52:21Speaker 6: How does that work? Which has been a topic before.
- 52:24Speaker 5: My wife's family has a bit interesting that from Hamilton,
- 52:26Speaker 5: And a great example of creepiness came with my mother
- 52:29Speaker 5: in law's friend. I know direct family blood connection was
- 52:32Speaker 5: first introduced to me and while going in for the
- 52:35Speaker 5: requisite polite haugen maybe a cheek grays, she lined me
- 52:38Speaker 5: up like a sniper lining up a target and aimed
- 52:41Speaker 5: for a direct kiss on my lips. I saw it
- 52:44Speaker 5: coming at an instant. At the last instant turned my
- 52:47Speaker 5: head just fast enough to protect my lips, an area
- 52:49Speaker 5: reserved only for my wife. But there was still some
- 52:52Speaker 5: ancillary side lip on lip contact.
- 52:56Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, sorry, what was this relationship? So that was
- 53:00Speaker 6: a friend of his mother in law?
- 53:02Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:02Speaker 6: Thank you?
- 53:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 53:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I found this invasive and appropriate and a wee
- 53:05Speaker 5: bit creepy. I'm mid Fortyes, she's about seventy. When the
- 53:09Speaker 5: topic was later raised, I was told by both my
- 53:11Speaker 5: wife and her mother, too hard en up, and it's
- 53:13Speaker 5: just what this person normally does and it's no big deal.
- 53:15Speaker 6: What do you guys think that was funny? When he
- 53:18Speaker 6: was saying the things, I was thinking to myself, hard
- 53:19Speaker 6: on't it? It was really weird, but not in so
- 53:23Speaker 6: many words. But I was like, co mate, what were
- 53:25Speaker 6: the words he was using there? And vasive what was
- 53:27Speaker 6: the other thing? I can't remember?
- 53:28Speaker 4: Creepy?
- 53:29Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a few words. Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, yes,
- 53:32Speaker 6: it's you reckon. It's all g. No, I don't think
- 53:36Speaker 6: it's all g I think it's funny and gross. Well,
- 53:41Speaker 6: exactly right. So he's just like he's a bit grossed out. Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 6: that's right, and that's all good. But it depends. I
- 53:46Speaker 6: don't know the way that he's framed it there. I
- 53:48Speaker 6: can understand why there's missus and the mother in law Ago,
- 53:50Speaker 6: now Jesus, he goes autonymous. Dave Well, I just feel
- 53:55Speaker 6: bad because I've acidentally named him and now we're kind
- 53:59Speaker 6: of bagging him a week. He's anonymous. He Well says
- 54:04Speaker 6: here that it's his name.
- 54:06Speaker 4: You know the thing is keys.
- 54:08Speaker 3: If Dave's got a problem with that anonymous, he can
- 54:11Speaker 3: write us another letter, but we probably won't read it
- 54:13Speaker 3: because he needs to harden up a win once.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right, Jay, it's just confirming it's an email.
- 54:19Speaker 6: Yeah cool. You didn't think people were writing letters into
- 54:23Speaker 6: the show, just judge. And to meet email you went
- 54:29Speaker 6: into the post. You just put a stamp on it
- 54:32Speaker 6: and meet petty nips on the front.
- 54:33Speaker 4: We need to bring that back, man.
- 54:35Speaker 6: I think personally, a kiss on the lips is a
- 54:37Speaker 6: bit it's crooked.
- 54:40Speaker 4: You don't do kiss on the lips.
- 54:42Speaker 6: No, No, okay, for nobody except your partner, I feel,
- 54:47Speaker 6: and for me, for me that includes your kids.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah no, I don't know. I would never kiss make.
- 54:54Speaker 3: You see people do, but I don't kiss make. I
- 54:56Speaker 3: hugged them, but I don't kiss them.
- 54:58Speaker 6: No kiss on the cheek cheek, Yeah, yes, because I
- 55:01Speaker 6: know it was. I think it was.
- 55:02Speaker 5: David Beckham was like famously getting kisses from his kids
- 55:05Speaker 5: on the mouth, even once they were like you know,
- 55:07Speaker 5: laid into the teens.
- 55:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that's that's weird.
- 55:12Speaker 6: It is to me, it's odd. And also, yeah, mother
- 55:15Speaker 6: in law's friend, random friend. Wait, yeah, wife's friend. Yeah, actually, yeah,
- 55:22Speaker 6: you're right. I hope that helps, Dave, I mean anonymous and.
- 55:28Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Well, then you go your mad mad bastards. That's a
- 55:44Speaker 4: big show. Got industed for you Monday. We got through
- 55:47Speaker 4: it as a team. As a team. What's the podcast
- 55:50Speaker 4: out tro clip today? Keasy?
- 55:52Speaker 5: The clip of today's outro just says idiot and it
- 55:55Speaker 5: comes out at seven thirty pm tonight.
- 55:56Speaker 6: Where you get your podcasts from?
- 56:00Speaker 3: Interesting family dynamics Like I am definitely the idiot of
- 56:04Speaker 3: the family, an idiot, and they just.
- 56:08Speaker 4: All look at me like an idiot. Yes, you know
- 56:11Speaker 4: that you are an idiot? And I go, okay, that's it.
- 56:16Speaker 6: Yeah, one hundredcent true. Though, are you the idiot of
- 56:20Speaker 6: your family, Mike? I think, sir, Yeah, I think so.
- 56:25Speaker 6: I don't think I am. I think I'm kind of
- 56:28Speaker 6: like that. There's not enough people in your family though
- 56:30Speaker 6: to work it out. Once the kids get here and
- 56:32Speaker 6: all that sort of stuff. You need to be viewed
- 56:35Speaker 6: as an idiot, and you can only really be viewed
- 56:37Speaker 6: as an idiot once you've got children. Yeah, right, I
- 56:39Speaker 6: think so. You become ridiculous. Yes, because right now I
- 56:43Speaker 6: feel like me and my wife are a good team.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Do you know, We're both you know, go getters, and
- 56:47Speaker 6: we like you know, and then the kids come along
- 56:49Speaker 6: and then you become an idiot.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Yes, right, Well, it's amazing to me the amount of
- 56:53Speaker 3: times my daughters crack up about something I say and
- 56:56Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 56:57Speaker 6: Yeah, and do they tell you, No, they just go worrying.
- 57:01Speaker 4: It's just don't worry about it, dad, It's it's good.
- 57:04Speaker 6: It's like the age thing, the keezy where you're like,
- 57:07Speaker 6: you think you consider yourself a young man, but as
- 57:09Speaker 6: soon as you have a kid, yeah, you're so old. Yeah,
- 57:13Speaker 6: you're you're you're even if you're that kid was born
- 57:15Speaker 6: today and I know it's not literally today, it's a
- 57:18Speaker 6: little while. Yeah, yeah I'm not. My wife is not pregnant.
- 57:21Speaker 6: That kid is going to be thirty four years younger
- 57:23Speaker 6: than you at least, So you are so old. Yeah,
- 57:26Speaker 6: sou're the worst? Is there any way to sort to
- 57:29Speaker 6: be cool in your kid's eyes? Keep wearing that Tony
- 57:32Speaker 6: Denham jacket.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Brother, and that other prison jacket you've got. Hey, mogi,
- 57:40Speaker 3: what time are you going to bed tonight?
- 57:46Speaker 6: About are going about eight in an hour? Yeah, honestly, Okay,
- 57:50Speaker 6: I'll walk home and I have something to eat, and
- 57:53Speaker 6: I'll probably have a shower and i'll go to bed.
- 57:54Speaker 6: That'll be I've got to get back on the camera.
- 57:56Speaker 6: Mold tees. Yeah, man me tonight. I'll let you know how.
- 57:58Speaker 6: I'll go crazy.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Kezy. What are you doing?
- 58:03Speaker 5: Quickly watching the final of the Amazing Race Australia Celeberty edition.
- 58:08Speaker 6: What are you doing?
- 58:08Speaker 4: I'm about to meet my wife and daughter for burgers.
