- 0:59Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:05Speaker 5: We have so much to get into and I am
- 1:08Speaker 5: very lucky to bring an expert in the field of everything.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Zach Peter of No Filter with Zach Peter is here.
- 1:18Speaker 5: And Zach, I mean, I was on vacation. And this
- 1:23Speaker 5: is how dutiful his life's work has come to a
- 1:28Speaker 5: climactic point. And I got a text from him. And
- 1:34Speaker 5: he was like, oh, my God, Heather, what did you
- 1:36Speaker 5: write me?
- 1:38Speaker 2: Blake's case has been dismissed. Well, it's been gutted. Most
- 1:40Speaker 2: of it has been dismissed at this point.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Blake suing Justin Baldoni for that she was sexually harassed,
- 1:48Speaker 5: which we have always questioned the validity and the facts
- 1:52Speaker 5: of that element of her claims for so many reasons.
- 1:57Speaker 2: And, you know, we covered it.
- 1:59Speaker 5: A lot here, but Zach was always, like, ahead of
- 2:02Speaker 5: the steps, reading all the stuff.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Really, in the forefront, it is.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I feel like when they do the made-for-TV movie, which
- 2:14Speaker 5: they don't do made-for-TV movies, when they do the streamer movie,
- 2:18Speaker 5: about your life, I think this is a pinnacle chapter.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Well, I hope that if they do a movie about
- 2:24Speaker 2: Blake and Baldoni, that there's, like, a caricature of me
- 2:29Speaker 2: that like is the YouTuber or the TikToker and there
- 2:33Speaker 2: should be a parody character that is based on me
- 2:36Speaker 2: because I was one of the only people that never
- 2:39Speaker 2: joined the Blake Lives Matter Coalition and believed her story
- 2:43Speaker 2: from day one. I was the only one that questioned
- 2:46Speaker 2: the New York Times article and I took my beatings
- 2:48Speaker 2: from the internet accordingly and I can now fully sit
- 2:52Speaker 2: in my vindication.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Do you feel like you're one of those people like,
- 2:55Speaker 6: I was on.
- 2:55Speaker 2: The right side of history? I'm always on the right
- 2:58Speaker 2: side of history.
- 2:59Speaker 5: And sometimes it takes a few years for the history
- 3:01Speaker 5: to catch up to Zach. And is there anybody that
- 3:05Speaker 5: you could see playing yourself? Because I want to warn you,
- 3:07Speaker 5: I've only had one time a person play me in
- 3:11Speaker 5: like a reenactment. And it was Hollywood Ghost Stories.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Oh.
- 3:17Speaker 6: And I told a story of where I thought I
- 3:18Speaker 6: was in a hotel with a ghost.
- 3:22Speaker 5: And part of my story was when I travel and
- 3:24Speaker 5: do stand-up, so there was a girl playing me.
- 3:28Speaker 6: And when I saw it, I.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Was not thrilled at all. With the choice.
- 3:36Speaker 5: They just picked what you would think would be a
- 3:39Speaker 5: brunette stand-up, but it didn't look like me at all.
- 3:42Speaker 5: And so I just want to warn you, who knows
- 3:46Speaker 5: what will end up being the zap.
- 3:48Speaker 2: It's going to be a lifetime movie, so I'm going
- 3:50Speaker 2: to get some low-budget, real TikToker that's going to be
- 3:54Speaker 2: grateful for five minutes of camera time. Okay, well, for
- 3:57Speaker 2: the people.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Putting it together, you know you can easily just... There
- 4:00Speaker 5: used to be a thing in castings... Where they would say,
- 4:04Speaker 5: we're looking for a Kathy Griffin type.
- 4:07Speaker 2: We're looking for.
- 4:09Speaker 5: And there was a story of Tracy Ellis Ross who
- 4:13Speaker 5: said she saw the breakdown and said, they're like, we're
- 4:15Speaker 5: looking for a Tracy Ellis Ross type.
- 4:18Speaker 6: And she's like, why can't.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It be me? No one's called me to do it.
- 4:22Speaker 6: So you could actually get the real deal.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I hope so. I'm available. So let's... I mean.
- 4:29Speaker 5: In this saga, explain, okay, so 13 of the things,
- 4:34Speaker 5: 10 were thrown out.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Correct.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Those all had to do with her claiming she was
- 4:38Speaker 5: sexually harassed on set during the filming of This and Us.
- 4:42Speaker 2: It Ends With Us, yeah. Sorry, It Ends With Us, yes. Yes,
- 4:46Speaker 2: so there were multiple claims that she was making, including
- 4:49Speaker 2: sexual harassment, toxic work environment, defamation, retaliation, all of these things,
- 4:55Speaker 2: and 10 of 13 have been dismissed. including the key
- 4:59Speaker 2: ones being sexual harassment thrown out.
- 5:02Speaker 5: So that's because the judge really looked at all the
- 5:06Speaker 5: evidence and there was nothing that would justify this going
- 5:11Speaker 5: further or what?
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yes and no. So it, because you'll hear a lot
- 5:15Speaker 2: of the Blake supporters say, oh, well, it was dismissed
- 5:18Speaker 2: on a technicality, which is sort of true, but also
- 5:22Speaker 2: not because the judge broke it down. And I think
- 5:24Speaker 2: it's 152 pages, his full ruling. And he goes into
- 5:28Speaker 2: each of her different claims and he makes it clear that,
- 5:31Speaker 2: you know, or he at least gives his professional opinion
- 5:34Speaker 2: as to why those specific allegations wouldn't stand at trial.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And so he dismissed it. The biggest piece of evidence
- 5:45Speaker 2: that really came back to bite her is this PGA
- 5:47Speaker 2: letter that she wrote where she was requesting. Producers Guild. Correct.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Producers Guild Association. And so she wanted the PGA credit
- 5:56Speaker 2: on this film by saying, I did all of these things.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And she broke it down and listed all 70 things
- 6:02Speaker 2: that she did. including overseeing HR on a daily basis.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That's one of the things that she wrote in the
- 6:08Speaker 2: letter as to why she deserved this credit.
- 6:09Speaker 5: And so then that is what combats her claims.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That she didn't have any power on set and she
- 6:14Speaker 2: wasn't a vulnerable employee. So he's like, well, no, she
- 6:17Speaker 2: wasn't an employee. She was an independent contractor. She wasn't
- 6:19Speaker 2: an underling. She wasn't, yeah. She had a lot of
- 6:22Speaker 2: power on the set. So she wasn't classified as an employee.
- 6:25Speaker 2: She was classified as an independent contractor who did yield
- 6:28Speaker 2: some power. on the set of It Ends With Us.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And he even gets more specific. Like there was one
- 6:32Speaker 2: allegation where she's like, Justin Baldoni described his genitalia to me.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And then you get into the context behind that conversation.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And it was before the movie even started, before she'd
- 6:41Speaker 2: even agreed to be in the movie. And it was
- 6:44Speaker 2: in regard, she was pregnant with her son and Ryan
- 6:47Speaker 2: Reynolds was there. The nannies were there. They were hanging
- 6:49Speaker 2: out at their house, which she likes to refer to
- 6:51Speaker 2: as Buckingham Palace, which we learned from the Taylor Swift
- 6:54Speaker 2: text messages that that's what she calls her house. And
- 6:57Speaker 2: they were talking about- Yeah. Well, she says because so
- 7:02Speaker 2: many famous people come in and out of there that
- 7:04Speaker 2: it's like Buckingham Palace, I believe, is the message that she... Okay,
- 7:07Speaker 2: that's annoying. Go on, yeah. But the conversation they were
- 7:10Speaker 2: having was about her baby boy, and it was her
- 7:13Speaker 2: first boy, and whether or not she was going to
- 7:15Speaker 2: circumcise him. And so in this conversation where Justin Baldoni
- 7:18Speaker 2: was not her boss at the time, I guess it
- 7:21Speaker 2: came up that he is circumcised. And so in the
- 7:23Speaker 2: context of talking about circumcision for a baby, the baby
- 7:27Speaker 2: that she was about to give birth to, So the
- 7:29Speaker 2: judge is like, well, no, that doesn't qualify as sexual harassment.
- 7:33Speaker 2: And so all of these pieces or all of these
- 7:36Speaker 2: different allegations just didn't rise to the degree of sexual harassment.
- 7:42Speaker 2: If you lump them all together, sure, but then you
- 7:44Speaker 2: factor in she was not an employee. She had a
- 7:47Speaker 2: lot of power on the set. So the sexual harassment
- 7:49Speaker 2: piece was one of the biggest ones that got dismissed.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, really in studying it too and going
- 7:53Speaker 5: through this for the last year and a half, it
- 7:55Speaker 5: was like every single thing really had a circumstantial reason
- 8:00Speaker 5: and explanation to it. And really what was the most
- 8:05Speaker 5: fascinating part was in myself and analyzing it was what she,
- 8:12Speaker 5: who she is as a person, as an actress, married
- 8:14Speaker 5: to Ryan Reynolds, as someone who's been married to someone
- 8:18Speaker 5: for 10 years, who's pushing 40, who has four kids, right?
- 8:22Speaker 6: Who is excited to have.
- 8:24Speaker 2: A little crush at work.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Who then.
- 8:29Speaker 5: What I like about what I do on Juicy Scoop,
- 8:31Speaker 5: whether it's Housewives or this, is these.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Stories are relatable.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They are relatable.
- 8:38Speaker 6: And so it's like she.
- 8:40Speaker 5: What I believe happened, it was a rolling effect of
- 8:45Speaker 5: where someone should have stopped the train. Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 2: And it was.
- 8:49Speaker 6: this whole thing happened. There was arguments or whatever.
- 8:52Speaker 5: And she let Ryan Reynolds know that he had come
- 8:56Speaker 5: on to her, that this was going on. And then
- 8:58Speaker 5: that sparked, I don't want him even near me at the, um, premiere.
- 9:04Speaker 5: And because Ryan Reynolds is more famous and because she's
- 9:06Speaker 5: the more famous face, they just wanted to like, keep
- 9:09Speaker 5: her happy. Let's get through this fucking thing. And, When
- 9:13Speaker 5: that press came out and everything, the movie still did well.
- 9:16Speaker 6: People were fine.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Then there was like a little bit of like, oh,
- 9:20Speaker 5: she's kind of a bitch on other shows and stuff
- 9:22Speaker 5: that popped up. And this is where you make a mistake,
- 9:26Speaker 5: whether you're a small content creator or Blake Lively. You
- 9:30Speaker 5: start listening and reading and thinking the entire world thinks
- 9:36Speaker 5: you're something that you're not. And you start spiraling, and
- 9:40Speaker 5: then you have a husband that's like, let's spiral together.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:44Speaker 5: And then fuck this guy, and now we're off to
- 9:48Speaker 5: the races. We're going to destroy him. And whether he
- 9:53Speaker 5: believed her or not, whether she believed herself, whether they exaggerated,
- 9:56Speaker 5: whether someone put it in their head that this is
- 9:58Speaker 5: a real thing and it's really happening— The fact that there.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Was no one to just go, stop.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:06Speaker 7: Stop.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Just chill a minute. You're all, you're going to be fine.
- 10:09Speaker 5: You're absolutely going to work again. Give it a fucking minute.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Louis C.K.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Is selling out Madison Square Garden. Give it a fucking second.
- 10:17Speaker 7: Yep.
- 10:18Speaker 2: People will forget that.
- 10:21Speaker 5: You have a little bit of a dismissive bitchy attitude
- 10:24Speaker 5: with a makeup artist.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Who cares? Had she just let this play out? Another
- 10:30Speaker 2: Simple Favor with Anna Kendrick was coming out the next year.
- 10:33Speaker 2: She'd already filmed it. And I think had she just
- 10:36Speaker 2: let the dust settle and went straight into another Simple Favor...
- 10:40Speaker 2: Like the movie itself, like it's very campy and it's
- 10:43Speaker 2: a little cheesy, but it wasn't bad. Another Simple Favor.
- 10:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The sequel. I watched it. It wasn't bad. And I
- 10:48Speaker 2: think people, I mean, I think people are hating the
- 10:50Speaker 2: movie because they dislike her. But I think had she
- 10:52Speaker 2: just let that play out and that movie came out,
- 10:55Speaker 2: I think people would have, she would have won people
- 10:57Speaker 2: over again.
- 10:58Speaker 5: I actually was a huge fan of the first movie
- 11:00Speaker 5: of Simple Favor.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I loved it. I thought it was funny. I thought
- 11:03Speaker 2: she was really good.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Whether she was playing herself or not, who cares? Like
- 11:08Speaker 5: that's kind of interesting.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 2: She was great.
- 11:11Speaker 5: I originally didn't think she was terrible in the town.
- 11:14Speaker 5: I love that movie. Now I die at how bad
- 11:17Speaker 5: it is. I die at the parodies of people doing her.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Like how she's like, oh, you're the crime stopper. You
- 11:24Speaker 5: figure it out. God, you know I'm a drug addict.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Charlie's going to know what's going to happen.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Now I'm like, oh my God, that was really bad.
- 11:33Speaker 5: And then people look further into it and they're like,
- 11:35Speaker 5: why was Ben Affleck driving around at 2 a.m.
- 11:38Speaker 2: While he was married to Jennifer? Yeah. Affleck or whatever.
- 11:41Speaker 5: And you know, so then you're all those, but still
- 11:45Speaker 5: people move on so quickly. And even women who hate
- 11:50Speaker 5: on women and whatever, they move on so quickly. There's
- 11:52Speaker 5: a new story in a week and a half in
- 11:54Speaker 5: her case. God learn from it. Like relax, put your
- 11:59Speaker 5: phone down.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 6: Go on a vacation with your family. Like, like just chill.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I think, To that same point, I think she thought,
- 12:09Speaker 2: let's just do the New York Times article and we'll
- 12:11Speaker 2: bury him there. I think she thought that that's where
- 12:13Speaker 2: it was going to end. And then he just, he
- 12:15Speaker 2: called up Steve Sarowitz, his, you know, his, the executive
- 12:20Speaker 2: from his production company, who's a billionaire. And he's just like,
- 12:23Speaker 2: we're fighting this. And they did. And they fought back
- 12:25Speaker 2: and they came back swinging. And now, you know, here
- 12:28Speaker 2: we are. But it's interesting.
- 12:29Speaker 5: So do you think that she and Ryan and her
- 12:32Speaker 5: team never thought again, in strategizing what you want to
- 12:36Speaker 5: do and the team wanting to please her.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Okay, if that's what you want to do, you know,
- 12:41Speaker 5: and being a sycophant or not really saying or just
- 12:43Speaker 5: being too dumb to not go, okay, so Justin Baldoni,
- 12:48Speaker 5: he's best known for being.
- 12:49Speaker 6: The actor on, what was it called?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Jane the Virgin. Jane the Virgin.
- 12:53Speaker 6: He's cute.
- 12:54Speaker 5: He's done some directing. He's not, you know, Martin Scorsese.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So, fuck him.
- 12:59Speaker 5: We're going to bury him because you think, because really
- 13:02Speaker 5: he like wasn't into you and you think he called
- 13:04Speaker 5: you fat. Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Okay. Whatever.
- 13:06Speaker 6: And so let's do that.
- 13:08Speaker 5: So nobody said, but now wait a minute, honey, what
- 13:12Speaker 5: if he doesn't crawl back into a hole and start doing,
- 13:16Speaker 5: you know, a Hallmark movie on the side and move
- 13:18Speaker 5: to Canada?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:20Speaker 5: What if his partner who is a billionaire is like,
- 13:24Speaker 5: I'm a fucking billionaire, dude.
- 13:25Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 13:26Speaker 6: I know you're a good guy. We're going to fight this.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Do you think that's what happened?
- 13:28Speaker 5: Do you think nobody said there's someone behind him that
- 13:33Speaker 5: might not crawl into Canada's Hallmark?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Well, they always knew that he would that Sarowitz would
- 13:38Speaker 2: step in because they named Sarowitz in the lawsuit as well.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So they barked up that tree. They named Sarowitz. They
- 13:44Speaker 2: named Jamie Heath. They named Justin Baldoni, his publicist, Jennifer
- 13:46Speaker 2: Abel and his crisis manager, Melissa Nathan. all of whom
- 13:49Speaker 2: have now been completely dismissed. So the only defendants left
- 13:52Speaker 2: in this lawsuit are Wayfair, the studio, and it ends
- 13:56Speaker 2: with us, the LLC, that were producing the film. So
- 13:59Speaker 2: all of them have been dismissed personally. So it's not
- 14:01Speaker 2: even Blake's battle against Justin Baldoni anymore because he's been dismissed.
- 14:05Speaker 2: It's just his studio that stands as a defendant. But
- 14:08Speaker 2: I do think they knew that that would be a possibility,
- 14:12Speaker 2: but that's why they put so many of these legal
- 14:14Speaker 2: protections in place. They were really, really smart about how
- 14:17Speaker 2: they went about this lawsuit. I just don't think they expected,
- 14:20Speaker 2: because once you throw out allegations coming off of, you know,
- 14:24Speaker 2: Me Too and Time's Up and all that, once you
- 14:26Speaker 2: throw those allegations out there, there's kind of always that
- 14:28Speaker 2: stink on you regardless. And so I think they thought
- 14:30Speaker 2: that that would just be enough to, you know.
- 14:32Speaker 5: And also, do you think this will be like, you know,
- 14:35Speaker 5: crisis PR, like 101, like case study, like, what to do,
- 14:41Speaker 5: what not to do, like going forward in a digital
- 14:44Speaker 5: world when she said in her statement, like, this is
- 14:47Speaker 5: about digital violence. And I'm like, girl, then we're all
- 14:53Speaker 5: victims of digital violence. Anybody that, someone who has 200
- 14:57Speaker 5: followers and their best friend looked at their story but
- 15:00Speaker 5: didn't like it, they're a victim of digital violence.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Like, I mean, come on.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Well, that's the, so that's what's going forward to trial
- 15:07Speaker 2: now is that retaliation piece. So there are three claims
- 15:11Speaker 2: that are moving forward. It's the retaliation in part, it's
- 15:15Speaker 2: breach of contract, and it's breach of implied covenant. So
- 15:18Speaker 2: the case has really been reduced to a contract dispute
- 15:23Speaker 2: and whether or not the studio violated their contract by
- 15:25Speaker 2: retaliating against her. But so what she'll have to prove
- 15:28Speaker 2: in court now is, one, she has to prove that
- 15:31Speaker 2: she doesn't have to prove sexual harassment, but she has
- 15:33Speaker 2: to prove that she did formally bring allegations against them.
- 15:37Speaker 2: which as of right now, based off of all the
- 15:38Speaker 2: evidence we have, there's no evidence that she brought. There
- 15:40Speaker 2: are no HR complaints. There's no emails or text messages
- 15:44Speaker 2: to any of the Sony executives. We have one Sony executive,
- 15:46Speaker 2: Angie Giannetti, who has already come out and said that, no,
- 15:49Speaker 2: there were never any formal complaints that were brought against
- 15:53Speaker 2: Baldoni or any of the parties. So she has to
- 15:56Speaker 2: prove that there were legit claims that were brought. Then
- 15:59Speaker 2: she has to prove that retaliation did take place. And
- 16:02Speaker 2: this is where she's going to have to say the
- 16:03Speaker 2: smear campaign was real. And she's going to have to
- 16:06Speaker 2: prove that and not that he was just defending himself,
- 16:08Speaker 2: but that they were intentionally trying to harm her reputation.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And then three, she's going to have to prove that
- 16:15Speaker 2: they did and tried to harm her reputation specifically because
- 16:18Speaker 2: she brought these allegations and they were retaliating against her
- 16:22Speaker 2: for bringing forth those allegations. But even when it comes
- 16:25Speaker 2: down to the contract dispute, and this is what the
- 16:27Speaker 2: jury is going to have to determine, with the contract,
- 16:29Speaker 2: it's really riding on this 17 point list of demands
- 16:33Speaker 2: that she made. She halted production halfway through, and she said,
- 16:36Speaker 2: these are 17 points that I want to make sure
- 16:39Speaker 2: for the next phase of production are met. They said, okay, fine, whatever.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Give her whatever she wants. We'll sign the agreement and say, yes,
- 16:46Speaker 2: all 17 points of those we'll agree to. One of
- 16:49Speaker 2: them being we won't retaliate against you. What that means,
- 16:51Speaker 2: nobody really knows, which is what a jury is going
- 16:53Speaker 2: to have to define. But they say, okay, sure, we
- 16:56Speaker 2: won't retaliate against you. But that specific contract, the terms
- 17:00Speaker 2: of that are really going to be what the jury's
- 17:03Speaker 2: going to have to look at because it was in
- 17:05Speaker 2: relation to production. These things cannot happen during production. And
- 17:09Speaker 2: at the end of production, she signed an agreement saying
- 17:12Speaker 2: none of these things happened. The second phase of production
- 17:14Speaker 2: went by smoothly. And the alleged retaliation happened after production.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It happened during the promotional tour, so we don't even
- 17:22Speaker 2: know if that retaliation even would apply in this case.
- 17:25Speaker 5: I mean, and this is why people are like, maybe
- 17:27Speaker 5: AI in Hollywood isn't such a bad idea.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Like, seriously. Like, my God.
- 17:31Speaker 5: I mean, the movie was so not good. Like, it
- 17:35Speaker 5: made no sense that she has this flower shop that,
- 17:40Speaker 5: you know, is just all boarded up, but somehow she
- 17:43Speaker 5: manages to get the lease to do black dry flower
- 17:46Speaker 5: arrangements and And then the rich sister is like, I'm bored.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I'm just walking around with my Birkin and I just
- 17:52Speaker 5: want to like work anywhere. I just would like to
- 17:56Speaker 5: get a job. So I'm just knocking on a door
- 17:58Speaker 5: that's all boarded up and dusty. Do you want me
- 18:00Speaker 5: to help you? And I don't want to come in
- 18:04Speaker 5: once the place is clean. Let's not hire anyone to help.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Clean it up.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Let me just, let's turn on the music. And so
- 18:12Speaker 5: I have to say like, It was lame. There were
- 18:14Speaker 5: so many lame things about the movie. So it's just
- 18:16Speaker 5: like it wasn't even good.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Well, that's Colleen Hoover's problem.
- 18:20Speaker 6: Yeah, it's true. But it was lame.
- 18:23Speaker 8: So.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So, yeah, now it moves forward to trial May 18th.
- 18:27Speaker 6: And then the sequence, the sequel. What happens to that?
- 18:30Speaker 2: There is no sequel. I don't think I mean, he's
- 18:32Speaker 2: still technically.
- 18:33Speaker 6: There was a second book.
- 18:34Speaker 2: There's a second book. It's called It Starts With Us.
- 18:37Speaker 2: He owns the rights to the second book to make
- 18:40Speaker 2: it into a film if he wants to. I doubt
- 18:42Speaker 2: that he will. Oh, my God. His character isn't even
- 18:44Speaker 2: in it. Or is not really in it.
- 18:46Speaker 5: I wonder if he will, though, just to, like, be like,
- 18:49Speaker 5: you know what? This is the full circle moment. And
- 18:53Speaker 5: what if it was really fucking good? Like, what if
- 18:56Speaker 5: he got someone to rewrite it?
- 18:57Speaker 2: I mean, I guess he could.
- 18:58Speaker 5: And it turns out to be great. And he's like,
- 19:00Speaker 5: five years later, here is... The, you know, the cherry
- 19:03Speaker 5: on the shit sundae, but it actually tastes good.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I don't know. I think he would get support. I
- 19:08Speaker 2: think people would show up in theaters for him. Amazing.
- 19:13Speaker 9: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 19:16Speaker 9: is so organized, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 19:20Speaker 9: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 19:23Speaker 9: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 19:25Speaker 9: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 19:27Speaker 9: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 19:30Speaker 9: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 19:35Speaker 9: click and collect.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So easy.
- 19:37Speaker 9: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 19:40Speaker 7: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 19:45Speaker 7: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 19:48Speaker 7: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 19:53Speaker 7: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 19:58Speaker 5: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 20:01Speaker 5: filed against me.
- 20:02Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:04Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:07Speaker 7: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:10Speaker 7: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:12Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:13Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 20:14Speaker 2: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:17Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:21Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:24Speaker 7: happens next.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:28Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm
- 20:30Speaker 2: not going to pull punches. You can use your voice
- 20:33Speaker 2: even if it's shaped.
- 20:34Speaker 7: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:37Speaker 7: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:48Speaker 5: Well, Savannah Guthrie, she spoke on Easter, a video that
- 20:55Speaker 5: was picked up a lot of places, I think knowing
- 20:57Speaker 5: that she was going to come back today to the
- 21:00Speaker 5: Today Show and saying, it's her home, I'm home. And
- 21:05Speaker 5: then some people in the comments were like, you're home.
- 21:08Speaker 5: That's kind of a weird thing to say since your
- 21:10Speaker 5: mother was taken from her home. I remember like thinking
- 21:15Speaker 5: if and when Yeah. Would she come back? People speculated
- 21:18Speaker 5: I would never want to be in the public eye again.
- 21:21Speaker 5: This was obviously related to her or not. Other people saying, yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 5: but when you lose someone in your life, whether it's
- 21:27Speaker 5: a parent or a child, you need to get back
- 21:30Speaker 5: into a routine. And why wouldn't you? It's an easy job.
- 21:33Speaker 5: It's a fun job that you liked. And I thought,
- 21:37Speaker 5: I think my prediction was like that she would go
- 21:40Speaker 5: back in September because I thought she'll take the rest
- 21:43Speaker 5: of the school year off. Then the kids and her
- 21:46Speaker 5: will like, go on vacation. And then once they go
- 21:48Speaker 5: back to school, she'll be like, okay. But it also
- 21:52Speaker 5: could be contractual and mentally, yeah, sometimes you just need
- 21:58Speaker 5: to move on, you know, and just go back to
- 22:00Speaker 5: your job, no matter what.
- 22:02Speaker 2: The tragedy is. I think September probably would have been
- 22:05Speaker 2: the smarter decision. And she didn't even need to go
- 22:08Speaker 2: back to the Today Show. She could have written a book,
- 22:10Speaker 2: you know, she would have gotten a good deal about
- 22:12Speaker 2: healing from grief and like she could have really turned
- 22:15Speaker 2: this into her next chapter in life. I predicted that
- 22:22Speaker 2: she was going to do a sit down with Hoda
- 22:23Speaker 2: Kotb before it was announced that that was going to
- 22:25Speaker 2: be the one on one. And I predicted that by
- 22:27Speaker 2: the end of that interview, that we would have a
- 22:30Speaker 2: date for her return, which we got April 6th, which
- 22:33Speaker 2: has now happened. She came back and joy is her protest.
- 22:36Speaker 2: That's the the tagline that they're going with joy is
- 22:40Speaker 2: her protest. Um, what do you mean? So it means
- 22:43Speaker 2: be happy. Like, don't like, you're not going to, you,
- 22:47Speaker 2: you robbed her of her mom, but you're not going
- 22:50Speaker 2: to rob her of her joy.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Her joy in life. Okay. All right. I mean, it's just,
- 22:56Speaker 2: not that I'm trying to judge her, but it is
- 22:57Speaker 2: very soon to be embracing the joy of life. Considering
- 23:00Speaker 2: you still haven't found your mother and you don't seem
- 23:02Speaker 2: very upset about the investigation into finding your mother. Um,
- 23:07Speaker 2: But yeah, listen, she's back. It is a little soon,
- 23:10Speaker 2: but I think Hoda Kotb was gunning for that spot.
- 23:14Speaker 5: I still think, now I do think it was not
- 23:18Speaker 5: something as calculating and weird and conspiracy about her and
- 23:26Speaker 5: what she's reported on and all that. I do think
- 23:29Speaker 5: it was just a crime that happened. like a JonBenet
- 23:36Speaker 5: that we might never know what happened, but it happened.
- 23:40Speaker 5: It happened and she's no longer with us. And it
- 23:42Speaker 5: was then they took her and then a fake people
- 23:45Speaker 5: did the ransom. And it was like, either they meant
- 23:48Speaker 5: to kill her or they didn't meant to kill her,
- 23:50Speaker 5: but they took her and they left the house and
- 23:53Speaker 5: in a panic and whoever that is, whether it's a
- 23:55Speaker 5: deviant essay or, or, they didn't mean to kill her
- 24:00Speaker 5: and they were just trying to rob the house. Or
- 24:02Speaker 5: they're just some weird dude that knew that a rich
- 24:04Speaker 5: lady lived down the street whose grandparents would watch her
- 24:08Speaker 5: daughter Savannah on the news every day. And he was like,
- 24:10Speaker 5: that house must be rich. And he was like, dumb
- 24:13Speaker 5: and did this.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think that's, I thought, I
- 24:17Speaker 2: don't think, well, they, the latest reports have come out
- 24:21Speaker 2: that the house was pretty clean. Um, So whoever did this,
- 24:26Speaker 2: I think, cleaned up after themselves, which makes the blood
- 24:29Speaker 2: on the porch a little more suspicious. And then the
- 24:31Speaker 2: back doors being wide open, also suspicious. I think the
- 24:34Speaker 2: family knows what happened. I do. And what do you
- 24:36Speaker 2: think happened? I think something happened to her. I mean,
- 24:41Speaker 2: I've played around with a few different theories, but I
- 24:43Speaker 2: think it all goes back to. the sister Annie, and
- 24:46Speaker 2: the brother-in-law Tommaso. They were the last ones to see
- 24:48Speaker 2: her alive. I mean, you do Juicy Crimes. You know
- 24:51Speaker 2: that statistically and with the pattern of crime, it's usually
- 24:54Speaker 2: somebody close to the subject, number one. And number two,
- 24:58Speaker 2: you have to look at what could the motivations be.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And then when you look at the traditional motivations, it
- 25:02Speaker 2: probably wasn't A crime of passion. Nobody was having an
- 25:06Speaker 2: affair with Nancy Guthrie. Yeah. You know, so it's probably financial. Well,
- 25:10Speaker 2: who had the financial motivation? Well, Annie is a poet
- 25:13Speaker 2: and Tommaso is a substitute teacher and they just bought
- 25:16Speaker 2: a house last summer. So how are they funding their
- 25:18Speaker 2: life if it wasn't motivate or if it wasn't linked
- 25:22Speaker 2: back to possibly Nancy, who was also they were also
- 25:25Speaker 2: her caretaker. Why do you think that?
- 25:27Speaker 5: Savannah, because it is her sister, she just doesn't want
- 25:30Speaker 5: to believe it. She doesn't want more pain to the family.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Because that's what I originally thought, too. I thought the
- 25:36Speaker 5: mother is helping them. Or even she secretly was helping
- 25:42Speaker 5: her son-in-law. He was convincing her that he was going
- 25:46Speaker 5: to do this great business in Bitcoin.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Who knows?
- 25:49Speaker 5: And she gave money or was giving money, and finally
- 25:52Speaker 5: they had that last meal, and she either told them
- 25:54Speaker 5: both or told him privately... I'm not going to help
- 25:57Speaker 5: you anymore. And then something happened, whether it was intentional
- 26:02Speaker 5: or not, but well, if she's gone, then we will
- 26:07Speaker 5: get the money. And there was something that happened with
- 26:09Speaker 5: the house recently where they're like, they, they are able to, um,
- 26:14Speaker 5: it doesn't have to just stay. It could go in
- 26:16Speaker 5: the trust in meaning now they could sell it and
- 26:20Speaker 5: stage it and then and then use the money or
- 26:24Speaker 5: they could clean it up and they could move into it,
- 26:28Speaker 5: the brother-in-law and the sister. And then they could sell
- 26:32Speaker 5: their house and they could live on that. And then
- 26:34Speaker 5: that way, if the mother ever came back, her house
- 26:37Speaker 5: is still there.
- 26:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And not sold. Yeah, no, I agree. I mean, it's
- 26:40Speaker 2: just there are too many unanswered questions and there's not
- 26:43Speaker 2: enough outrage, I think, from the family and not enough
- 26:46Speaker 2: utilization of all of these resources like the Today Show
- 26:49Speaker 2: and NBC that could have been used in the first two, three, four, five, six,
- 26:54Speaker 2: seven weeks of this case. And the whole the rest
- 26:58Speaker 2: of the world was more invested in finding answers. Nancy Guthrie.
- 27:01Speaker 2: So I think Savannah came because she believed her mother
- 27:04Speaker 2: was missing. And then, listen, if your sister comes to
- 27:07Speaker 2: you and is like, holy shit, we accidentally killed her.
- 27:11Speaker 2: We needed to get rid of her. Like, if it
- 27:13Speaker 2: was an accident, it was unintentional, something.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Would you cover up for your sister?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Well, look at the theory with JonBenet. I don't know, maybe.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Look at the theory with JonBenet Ramsey. The theory is
- 27:23Speaker 2: that they covered up for the brother for the son.
- 27:25Speaker 2: For the pineapple.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Pineapple.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But then you take it a step further, right? Could
- 27:29Speaker 2: she be covering up for Annie?
- 27:30Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But then you go a step further and you're like, well,
- 27:34Speaker 2: what other motivations would Savannah have outside of protecting her family?
- 27:38Speaker 2: You also have her job and her reputation. If she's
- 27:41Speaker 2: known as the woman whose sister murdered the mom, you're
- 27:45Speaker 2: forever going to live with that scandal. But if you're
- 27:47Speaker 2: the woman whose mom never was found, then everybody can
- 27:50Speaker 2: watch you come back to the Today Show in your
- 27:52Speaker 2: bright yellow dress. and joy cometh in the morning. You know,
- 27:55Speaker 2: joy is your protest. Like, you get to then just
- 27:57Speaker 2: be the lady who lost her mom rather than the
- 28:01Speaker 2: lady whose sister killed the mom.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Yeah, and when you think about, and when you think about,
- 28:03Speaker 5: because she's so aware of these cases, I think about it, too.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I was, like, watching, you know, these crime documentaries and things,
- 28:11Speaker 5: and I'm like, people don't realize that every time there's
- 28:14Speaker 5: an appeal, every time, like, then the poor victims, the
- 28:17Speaker 5: victims of the family have to go to the court,
- 28:19Speaker 5: have to live through it again, have to go through it.
- 28:21Speaker 2: So it's always like, oh, you know.
- 28:24Speaker 5: They were just about to catch the guy and he
- 28:26Speaker 5: ran into the woods and killed himself.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Thank God.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Thank God we don't have to live through a trial
- 28:31Speaker 5: in this. You know, it's because it's just, and then,
- 28:34Speaker 5: you know, and then people write about you and then
- 28:35Speaker 5: people talk about you and forever and they do movies
- 28:38Speaker 5: about it. And you don't like the person that played you.
- 28:41Speaker 5: And like, it does, it's like when you're, and people
- 28:45Speaker 5: don't realize like, you know, there's always, you always think of,
- 28:48Speaker 5: The mother or the child of a victim.
- 28:50Speaker 2: People don't think about the sibling.
- 28:52Speaker 5: The person that had to live through it and it
- 28:57Speaker 5: changed the trajectory of their life because someone close to
- 28:59Speaker 5: them was a victim. Yeah, very juicy. Very juicy because
- 29:04Speaker 5: we don't know. And that's why it is interesting. And
- 29:07Speaker 5: all these factors are something that we can never... There's
- 29:11Speaker 5: never been something like this before where a regular.
- 29:16Speaker 5: You know, one of the most famous faces in the
- 29:18Speaker 5: world because she does a national morning show. Not her child,
- 29:23Speaker 5: but her mother, you know, it's like the Lindbergh baby
- 29:26Speaker 5: from a long time ago.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Like these things are, yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 5: And, and Jean Monnet wasn't, they weren't famous, but they,
- 29:34Speaker 5: because she did the pageants because of all that. And
- 29:37Speaker 5: then what happens is they know that these magazines any
- 29:40Speaker 5: time for the last 30 years, well, there's some weird
- 29:44Speaker 5: guy in prison who says that he shared a cell
- 29:46Speaker 5: with some guy who talked about Jean Monnet. Okay, at
- 29:50Speaker 5: least you're bored, you're out there, you know, all right,
- 29:53Speaker 5: I'll buy that magazine, backboard magazines, or I'll click on that.
- 29:56Speaker 5: So they know that there's certain stories that no matter
- 29:58Speaker 5: how many years go by.
- 29:59Speaker 2: OJ, whatever.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 2: For 30 years.
- 30:02Speaker 6: Finally, the OJ articles have stopped because he's dead.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 5: But like it literally anytime there was a slow period,
- 30:08Speaker 5: it was like the story would come up again or
- 30:10Speaker 5: a new movie would be done.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Because everyone's like, oh, I know that one. And it's juicy.
- 30:15Speaker 2: And that'll be this. It's just I don't think.
- 30:19Speaker 5: Well, I don't think it will be, though, because it's
- 30:21Speaker 5: it isn't a beautiful blonde with who is married to
- 30:24Speaker 5: a famous football player. who maybe was selling drugs or
- 30:27Speaker 5: had a lover. Like the whole OJ was so, you
- 30:31Speaker 5: know what I mean? It's like those factors. It wasn't
- 30:33Speaker 5: a beautiful little dog. So I kind of think, I
- 30:37Speaker 5: think this story is.
- 30:38Speaker 6: Going to die. And I think it's dead already. Like
- 30:41Speaker 6: it's dead.
- 30:41Speaker 2: The sheriff keeps telling us this could take years to solve,
- 30:44Speaker 2: but she's probably still alive out there, which makes no
- 30:47Speaker 2: fucking sense. And then you have Savannah who's just like
- 30:49Speaker 2: moving on. I mean, her sit down with Hoda gave
- 30:52Speaker 2: us absolutely nothing other than remember I'm sad. And so
- 30:55Speaker 2: that when I go back to the Today Show, don't
- 30:57Speaker 2: judge me. Like that was the whole premise of that.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I just want to go work. Three parts.
- 31:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: We did three parts over two days. They milked the
- 31:05Speaker 2: hell out of that interview and gave us absolutely nothing.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 31:09Speaker 5: That's why there aren't any clips or anything, because there
- 31:11Speaker 5: was nothing to clip from it.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And even, you know, and Hoda was a tear. It
- 31:14Speaker 2: was a terrible interview from Hoda's end because she has
- 31:16Speaker 2: no fall, even easy follow ups. Like when Savannah's like,
- 31:19Speaker 2: we believe at least two of the ransom notes were real. OK, why?
- 31:23Speaker 2: What made you believe that two of them are real?
- 31:25Speaker 2: And also even the bigger fucking question is, why didn't
- 31:28Speaker 2: you pay them? The initial offering for the mom was $ 2, 500
- 31:33Speaker 2: before the FBI stepped in and then upped it to 50.
- 31:36Speaker 2: And then the FBI upped it to 100. And it took, what,
- 31:39Speaker 2: over a month before Savannah's like, you know what, okay,
- 31:41Speaker 2: I guess now I'll put in a million dollars and
- 31:43Speaker 2: go home to New York.
- 31:45Speaker 5: But didn't she also say, I did want to offer
- 31:47Speaker 5: a million like the first couple days and the And
- 31:49Speaker 5: the detectives or whatever said don't.
- 31:51Speaker 2: She hasn't said that, but that is the speculation, is
- 31:54Speaker 2: that it was likely the sheriff or the FBI that
- 31:58Speaker 2: encouraged her not to do that. But that's what we've seen.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I mean, the Ramsey's put that out there early on.
- 32:04Speaker 5: Every time there's a, you know, a kidnap ransom movie
- 32:07Speaker 5: type of thing, it's always like, go meet us at this,
- 32:11Speaker 5: you know, phone booth with a million dollars. And you're like, well,
- 32:14Speaker 5: if I do this. There's no, how do I, and then,
- 32:18Speaker 5: but if you call the police, we're going to kill
- 32:19Speaker 5: your kid. And you're always like, well, what do I do?
- 32:21Speaker 5: So it was always like, what do you do?
- 32:24Speaker 2: But the kidnapper is going to play it out on TMZ.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Like it just, it didn't make any, it didn't make
- 32:30Speaker 2: any sense. I mean, and also there was no search party.
- 32:36Speaker 2: There were no cadaver dogs. There was no family with
- 32:40Speaker 2: her face on the shirts going out, digging into the desert.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Like you traditionally see with high profile kidnappings. even to
- 32:48Speaker 2: this day, the sheriff is not even considering that this
- 32:50Speaker 2: could be a homicide. They still believe that there's this,
- 32:53Speaker 2: crazy old lady snatcher that just took her in the
- 32:56Speaker 2: middle of the night and poof, she disappeared. It's like,
- 32:59Speaker 2: you don't just lose a whole ass lady in 2026
- 33:03Speaker 2: with zero documentation, evidence, footage, GPS, anything. She had a
- 33:08Speaker 2: pacemaker that was connected to Bluetooth and poof, this lady disappeared.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Aliens had to have come and taken Nancy Guthrie at
- 33:15Speaker 2: this point. All we have are little drops of blood,
- 33:18Speaker 2: which also, mind you, the drops of blood There was
- 33:21Speaker 2: no splatter of blood. There was no footprint stepping the
- 33:24Speaker 2: blood in. It's just convenient little drops that are going
- 33:27Speaker 2: right out to the driveway. that Brian Enten was able
- 33:30Speaker 2: to come in in less than 48 hours to come
- 33:32Speaker 2: and film with his phone and post that on the internet.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I'm not accusing Brian of anything, but I'm just saying.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Who is Brian? Brian Enten. Oh, he's one of the
- 33:39Speaker 2: News Nation. He's the lead reporter that's kind of been
- 33:41Speaker 2: in Arizona covering this from the beginning. But the crazy
- 33:44Speaker 2: part is he was just able to, within the first
- 33:47Speaker 2: couple of days, walk right up to the crime scene
- 33:49Speaker 2: and film the blood on his phone. It's like, when
- 33:51Speaker 2: do you ever have blood in a crime scene that's
- 33:54Speaker 2: not closed off to the public? Like reporters are walking
- 33:57Speaker 2: up to her porch. It was just, yeah, the pool
- 33:59Speaker 2: guy in the first week going and cleaning her pool.
- 34:04Speaker 2: And it was so strange and so bizarre. Yeah, she's
- 34:06Speaker 2: going to have a pool party.
- 34:08Speaker 6: The whole thing was so weird.
- 34:09Speaker 5: And it's like, yeah, you wonder, like, is this just
- 34:14Speaker 5: the shoddest police work ever? Is it they actually do
- 34:18Speaker 5: have major scoop that they're keeping under wraps so that
- 34:22Speaker 5: they actually have a case? So they're acting like we're
- 34:25Speaker 5: not looking at the brother-in-law?
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Because, I mean, that happens a lot when, like, a
- 34:29Speaker 5: husband kills a wife. They act like everything's fine. And
- 34:32Speaker 5: it can be, like, two years later. And they were looking,
- 34:37Speaker 5: you know, so it's like, but they make the person relax.
- 34:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 5: They don't even call them anymore for interviews. They're just like,
- 34:45Speaker 5: we're getting our ducks in a row.
- 34:47Speaker 2: So we'll see. We'll see.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Maybe we'll never hear it about again, or maybe we will.
- 34:53Speaker 2: That's the only thing I'm thinking that.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Yeah, everyone's criticizing our stupid county, but we actually just,
- 34:59Speaker 5: you wait.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You know, like. I'm hoping. Bring the lady home.
- 35:03Speaker 5: So, Summer House, which is the hottest show to be
- 35:09Speaker 5: talked about since Vanderpump Scandival. This is where these kids
- 35:15Speaker 5: all go in the summer. They rent a house that's
- 35:17Speaker 5: been going on for 10 years. And many of them
- 35:20Speaker 5: date each other. They have these parties and they go
- 35:22Speaker 5: every weekend in the summer. And Kyle and Amanda met
- 35:26Speaker 5: on the show. They got married. Every summer they fight.
- 35:29Speaker 5: They don't have kids. And, you know, some people have
- 35:33Speaker 5: been on a little while. Other people come in. And
- 35:36Speaker 5: then a couple years ago, this guy named West came in.
- 35:40Speaker 5: Some people call him Wes. That's the biggest controversy. Some
- 35:42Speaker 5: people say, is his name Wes or West? He comes in,
- 35:46Speaker 5: not my type.
- 35:47Speaker 2: He's kind of cute. But he's kind of funny.
- 35:50Speaker 5: And so he's a good reality show person. And then
- 35:53Speaker 5: this beautiful girl, Sierra, comes in. She's black and gorgeous
- 35:57Speaker 5: and just one of the most attractive people. And they
- 36:01Speaker 5: have a flirty situation on and off this summer. Amanda
- 36:06Speaker 5: and Kyle, Kyle creates this liquor company called Loverboy, which
- 36:10Speaker 5: is like seltzer drinks. And he's like, you need to
- 36:13Speaker 5: help me more. And she's like, I hate working, but
- 36:15Speaker 5: I have a good body. I want to have bikinis.
- 36:17Speaker 5: And then he's just like, you don't support me. And
- 36:19Speaker 5: then he's like, you want to be a bikini designer? Well,
- 36:22Speaker 5: I want to be a DJ. And then she's like, what?
- 36:24Speaker 5: And then he becomes a DJ, which he was good.
- 36:27Speaker 5: We saw him at the show after BravoCon. I had
- 36:30Speaker 5: a good fucking time with him and he was very
- 36:31Speaker 5: nice afterwards and he DM'd me and he said, thank
- 36:34Speaker 5: you for your support. You had a good time and blah, blah, blah.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Everyone's like, I can't believe he's a DJ. He needs
- 36:40Speaker 5: to be staying home with his wife and being a
- 36:42Speaker 5: better husband. He shouldn't be at nightclubs. Thank God he
- 36:45Speaker 5: became a DJ because then Amanda was fucking West.
- 36:50Speaker 6: And they're going to get divorced.
- 36:52Speaker 5: And so thank God he has a DJ company because
- 36:54Speaker 5: the lover boy company is suffering financially. And then some people,
- 37:01Speaker 5: you know, then there's more speculation where people were too
- 37:04Speaker 5: harsh on Amanda that she's walking around the Hamptons with
- 37:07Speaker 5: a scarlet letter A, not for Amanda, but adultery. And then,
- 37:11Speaker 5: you know, Sierra was such a good friend to her.
- 37:15Speaker 5: And when she knows that Sierra was still pining for
- 37:17Speaker 5: her ex West, And then West, did he deceive his
- 37:21Speaker 5: friend Kyle? And why, you know, so what are your thoughts?
- 37:25Speaker 5: And then we'll get into some more elements. Is this
- 37:29Speaker 5: a Scandaval or no?
- 37:30Speaker 2: It's not the level of Scandaval. And it's certainly not
- 37:33Speaker 2: like these players aren't important enough. Like we watched Vanderpump
- 37:36Speaker 2: Rules for 10 years and like Vanderpump Rules had Lisa
- 37:40Speaker 2: Vanderpump attached to it. It had Real Housewives of Beverly
- 37:42Speaker 2: Hills attached to it. So it had this cultural element.
- 37:44Speaker 2: pop culture relevance that I don't think summer house has
- 37:47Speaker 2: ever peaked. Um, and even though like, yeah, Sierra is
- 37:50Speaker 2: a pretty girl, but I don't think she's, she was
- 37:52Speaker 2: on the traders season three and nobody remembers that. Like
- 37:54Speaker 2: she's been very forgettable when it comes to anything outside
- 37:58Speaker 2: of summer house. I think that this was like a
- 38:00Speaker 2: Lindsay Hubbard or a page to Sorbo who are, I
- 38:03Speaker 2: think the breakout stars of the show, or I mean,
- 38:06Speaker 2: Kyle cook, I guess Kyle is the star of the show. Um,
- 38:10Speaker 2: but yeah, I think Sierra just, you know, she wasn't
- 38:13Speaker 2: the star. And Amanda's also not that interesting. And West
- 38:17Speaker 2: is so new to the franchise that he's not that interesting.
- 38:20Speaker 5: No, I mean, West is just a typical, he's a
- 38:23Speaker 5: triple star. a triple thirst bucket.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:27Speaker 5: He wants to be, he wanted to be a reality star.
- 38:31Speaker 5: And so he was, he is a player. He flirts
- 38:34Speaker 5: with women. You know, he's flirted with other women in
- 38:39Speaker 5: the Bravo world that I know for a fact. In
- 38:42Speaker 5: which he, like, was writing them saying, like, we could
- 38:46Speaker 5: have a PR moment, like, when a younger person goes
- 38:51Speaker 5: for an older Real Housewife.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 38:53Speaker 5: So, yeah, let's fuck. But also, like, we could also
- 38:57Speaker 5: play this out. So he's very publicity hungry. And he's
- 39:01Speaker 5: a player. And he's been DMing other women.
- 39:04Speaker 2: So she.
- 39:05Speaker 5: left who everyone thought was a an annoying child Kyle
- 39:09Speaker 5: to be with the one you know she's just that
- 39:12Speaker 5: girl that a guy shows interest in he's a love
- 39:15Speaker 5: bomber and she went for it and people were speculating
- 39:18Speaker 5: if this was true and then they came out with
- 39:20Speaker 5: a statement it is wild and everybody was like oh
- 39:23Speaker 5: my god and then Sierra there was something being that
- 39:27Speaker 5: she is a black woman some people felt that this
- 39:32Speaker 5: made it extra bad because sometimes white guys just want
- 39:35Speaker 5: to experience a beautiful black woman. I think it was
- 39:39Speaker 5: a typical fling in which.
- 39:43Speaker 2: He was a player.
- 39:45Speaker 5: She wanted more. He's just a fuck boy. I don't
- 39:48Speaker 5: think that meant anything. But as her friend and Sierra
- 39:53Speaker 5: was such a good friend to Amanda when Amanda's crying
- 39:55Speaker 5: every day about being with Kyle and not knowing if
- 39:59Speaker 5: she's going to owe $ 2 million and love her boy
- 40:01Speaker 5: or not because they don't have a prenup and they
- 40:02Speaker 5: kind of want to get divorced and everyone's tired of
- 40:04Speaker 5: hearing them fight. That's where it was like, it was deceptive.
- 40:09Speaker 7: Yes.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I think the deception is Amanda and Sierra. I mean,
- 40:12Speaker 2: but People are really putting a lot of pressure on
- 40:15Speaker 2: this relationship between Sierra and West. Sierra and West dated
- 40:19Speaker 2: for a summer in 2023. It's been three years. Yeah.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And they dated for a little bit. And since then,
- 40:27Speaker 2: we have seen West be abhorrent and, you know, be
- 40:30Speaker 2: a whore and sleep with all these women. And he's
- 40:33Speaker 2: a douchebag player. He's not the prize that either of
- 40:35Speaker 2: them should be fighting over. But I do agree. I
- 40:38Speaker 2: think Amanda's betrayal of Sierra is the worst part of
- 40:41Speaker 2: it all. But I also think Amanda's been in a
- 40:45Speaker 2: loveless marriage for a long time where she's never been
- 40:48Speaker 2: emotionally fulfilled. Call Alison Dubois. He'll never emotionally fulfill you.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And Kyle never did. And so now she's technically single.
- 40:55Speaker 2: And West is also single, even though he was still
- 40:57Speaker 2: kind of keeping Sierra on the burner. They were, you know,
- 41:01Speaker 2: Sierra hated him after they dated. And then she blasted
- 41:04Speaker 2: him at the, I think, season eight reunion. And they
- 41:06Speaker 2: weren't friends throughout season nine. And then season 10 comes
- 41:09Speaker 2: in and now she's kind of giving him a second chance. And,
- 41:12Speaker 2: you know, and he's not committing to her because he's
- 41:14Speaker 2: not the commitment type of guy. And I think Amanda
- 41:18Speaker 2: got I think he likes to go after the girls
- 41:19Speaker 2: that are unavailable. Amanda was unavailable because she was married
- 41:22Speaker 2: to Kyle. And that's where we see her and Wes
- 41:25Speaker 2: be kind of flirty and have this really flirty relationship
- 41:28Speaker 2: throughout season 10. And then now Amanda's out of her
- 41:31Speaker 2: relationship is looking for some sort of emotional connection, which
- 41:35Speaker 2: I think Wes being a love bomber was giving her.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And he also knew like, I probably shouldn't go for
- 41:41Speaker 2: her because She's, you know, she's friends and she just
- 41:44Speaker 2: came from my friend Kyle's marriage and like now she's
- 41:47Speaker 2: technically single. So I think it was just forbidden fruit.
- 41:50Speaker 2: They fell, they fell for each other and it's more
- 41:52Speaker 2: infatuation than anything. And now they have to commit because
- 41:55Speaker 2: they blew everything up.
- 41:56Speaker 5: And then the lemonade of it is that they have
- 42:00Speaker 5: this spinoff called The City and Kyle, who now was
- 42:04Speaker 5: always the villain. Everyone hated him. Now women are feeling
- 42:08Speaker 5: sorry for him. They're saying, how can we support Loverboy,
- 42:11Speaker 5: your alcohol can company? What can we do? Can I
- 42:15Speaker 5: have it at my baby shower? Can we support the
- 42:18Speaker 5: scorned woman of Kyle? I saw somebody did a little...
- 42:24Speaker 5: funny Photoshop of him being the next Roxy Hart in Chicago.
- 42:30Speaker 6: And I thought that was brilliant.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Whosever joke it was, it's not mine. I
- 42:34Speaker 2: thought it was really funny. Anyway, it's good.
- 42:38Speaker 5: I'm glad that you are a DJ making 20,000 a year.
- 42:41Speaker 5: Lover boy might make it or not. And now everyone's
- 42:45Speaker 5: going to watch your spinoff.
- 42:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 6: And you guys had a horrible marriage anyway.
- 42:49Speaker 2: He doesn't even seem... that mad about it.
- 42:52Speaker 5: I think he's like, well, you know, and then they
- 42:55Speaker 5: go meet, um, to walk the dogs and the, this
- 42:59Speaker 5: is the, uh, 30 AF club put this together and
- 43:05Speaker 5: Amanda's wearing his, uh, hat that Wes used to wear
- 43:08Speaker 5: a shirt that Wes has the same headphones. She's got
- 43:13Speaker 5: all his clothes on to go meet Kyle to walk
- 43:15Speaker 5: the dogs. And he's telling, you know, reporters like, leave
- 43:20Speaker 5: her alone.
- 43:21Speaker 6: You know, she's mentally, she has mental health issues.
- 43:25Speaker 5: You cannot be on a reality show if you can't
- 43:28Speaker 5: take the mean bitches on the internet and, you know, learn.
- 43:31Speaker 2: From Blake Lively. Learn from Blake Lively.
- 43:34Speaker 5: He's like, But now you've been on the show for
- 43:36Speaker 5: 10 years. What else are you going to do? Get
- 43:38Speaker 5: a job at, you know, Neiman Marcus, which is closing.
- 43:41Speaker 6: What are you going to do? So I get it.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Stay on the show. Who knows, though?
- 43:46Speaker 5: Sometimes, listen, sometimes affairs happen or whatever where someone.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Very close to you.
- 43:53Speaker 5: This is why in the Bible it says thou shall
- 43:56Speaker 5: not covet. covet thy neighbor's wife. It's oftentimes someone, you know,
- 44:01Speaker 5: that's in your circle that, you know, you're going to
- 44:04Speaker 5: swing with that. You're going to do whatever that lives
- 44:06Speaker 5: next door. That's the, the mom that you acted like
- 44:09Speaker 5: your best friends with. I'm always fascinated by the woman
- 44:12Speaker 5: who goes after her best friends, dude.
- 44:16Speaker 6: That's why we were fascinated by Scandival.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 5: And she's, you know, and Sierra had shown us being
- 44:23Speaker 5: such a good friend. Now, the other thing that came
- 44:25Speaker 5: up is, um, Wait, hold on. Let me just, okay.
- 44:29Speaker 5: So first of all, I want to ask about these parties.
- 44:31Speaker 5: So they always have these parties every weekend and it's
- 44:34Speaker 5: always a theme. And this one was let's be old
- 44:37Speaker 5: people or whatever theme, but they had like prosthetics and
- 44:41Speaker 5: all that stuff.
- 44:41Speaker 2: So clearly, right.
- 44:42Speaker 6: The producers have to come in and give them all
- 44:44Speaker 6: this costume.
- 44:45Speaker 5: I mean, it was like, it was like complete makeup
- 44:48Speaker 5: and awful theme for a party.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it was somebody's birthday, and so they're like, oh,
- 44:54Speaker 2: you're getting old, so let's all dress.
- 44:55Speaker 8: Up as old people.
- 44:56Speaker 5: But then everybody else at the party, nobody dressed up
- 44:58Speaker 5: as old. So it's just the stars of it doing
- 45:02Speaker 5: the walkers and the tits.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I get it.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Vanderpump started to do everything was a theme. Let's be
- 45:08Speaker 5: in drag and whatever. It was just lame. Okay, so then,
- 45:13Speaker 5: and Carl is looking older, but he launched his non-alcoholic, restaurant, drink.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Place, and maybe it'll do okay.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Maybe it'll do okay. But I wanted to wait.
- 45:25Speaker 6: I wanted to say that this was interesting.
- 45:27Speaker 5: So then this girl, Toronto Pop Zone, people think that
- 45:33Speaker 5: it was interesting when Paige was dating Craig, and she
- 45:37Speaker 5: was on the show, and Craig and Amanda were very huggy,
- 45:41Speaker 5: very supportive, and at one moment someone also caught an
- 45:45Speaker 5: old episode where Paige is sitting across from Craig her
- 45:50Speaker 5: boyfriend and Amanda is sitting next to Craig at a
- 45:54Speaker 5: dinner and they're holding hands I have never in my
- 45:58Speaker 5: life hugged a man like this that's not my husband
- 46:01Speaker 5: or son or gay best friend or whatever I have
- 46:06Speaker 5: never hugged someone else's man like that or or held
- 46:09Speaker 5: another man's hand like that in my life.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Dorit hugged Mauricio after her burglary right she kissed his
- 46:17Speaker 2: his His head, right? No, his like shoulder or something.
- 46:22Speaker 2: So it's weird. I think Amanda is just that kind
- 46:25Speaker 2: of girl that is very like she doesn't know boundaries
- 46:29Speaker 2: with guys. And she just doesn't realize.
- 46:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 5: She's the girl that gets does the piggyback ride.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Oh, you're carrying me on your shoulder. He's like my brother.
- 46:39Speaker 5: Shut up.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Well, then you're a brother fucker.
- 46:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 46:43Speaker 2: That was from Simple Favor.
- 46:45Speaker 6: That was such a good– that was so good.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:50Speaker 5: This guy came across, Kurt Walker, and I loved this
- 46:54Speaker 5: little video he did. He said, I have some scoop
- 46:58Speaker 5: on West. He didn't say scoop, but it's okay if
- 47:01Speaker 5: you did. I want to tell you about it. And
- 47:03Speaker 5: I do think this says anything. It says something about
- 47:07Speaker 5: a person. And when I tell you, I think everyone
- 47:10Speaker 5: will agree. that this says a lot. He said they
- 47:15Speaker 5: were at the summer house party at the house.
- 47:17Speaker 2: He goes, which are not fun and lame. And I
- 47:19Speaker 2: think we can tell.
- 47:21Speaker 5: And the party ended and a couple of them, including
- 47:25Speaker 5: West said, yeah, we want to go out with you
- 47:27Speaker 5: guys at the local bar. So lucky for him, I
- 47:31Speaker 5: can imagine how hard it is. He got the table.
- 47:33Speaker 5: He knew somebody that had, they got on the VIP
- 47:35Speaker 5: table behind the DJ booth and they give them wristbands
- 47:39Speaker 5: and And everybody, when you go to stagecoach or, you know,
- 47:43Speaker 5: anything like that, or Coachella coming up this weekend, everyone
- 47:46Speaker 5: knows not to do it super tight in case you
- 47:50Speaker 5: want to skip out on the third day, whatever. They
- 47:53Speaker 5: make it really, really hard. You have to have a
- 47:56Speaker 5: very tiny rest or whatever. But this was just, he
- 47:59Speaker 5: gives them the wristband and is like, don't tighten it
- 48:02Speaker 5: so that, you know, we can go back and forth
- 48:05Speaker 5: or bring someone into the thing. He said he gave
- 48:08Speaker 5: it to Wes. who immediately tightened the shit out of
- 48:12Speaker 5: it on his own wrist.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Of course.
- 48:15Speaker 6: And I think that says everything.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Yeah. It wasn't your night. You didn't get the table.
- 48:20Speaker 5: You didn't buy the wristbands. But you're so entitled because
- 48:24Speaker 5: you're this big star that you think that you're allowed
- 48:29Speaker 5: to do that. And so then this cat couldn't leave
- 48:32Speaker 5: the booth, couldn't get a piss, couldn't go say hi
- 48:35Speaker 5: to a friend. And he was the one that hooked
- 48:37Speaker 5: up the whole fucking thing. So I think that says
- 48:39Speaker 5: it all.
- 48:40Speaker 2: And West is that guy, you know, he's not. And
- 48:43Speaker 2: he also like, you know, he I think he knows
- 48:46Speaker 2: how to pander to the Bravo audience. He knows how
- 48:49Speaker 2: to say like when before all this scandal, like the
- 48:53Speaker 2: girls did like him because of his personality or he
- 48:55Speaker 2: was funny. And I just always saw him as a
- 48:57Speaker 2: hack and he just always knew what to say and
- 49:00Speaker 2: like how to, you know, get them to like him,
- 49:02Speaker 2: which to me just always came across very disingenuous. But
- 49:05Speaker 2: I mean, he is cute. I think he's a cutie.
- 49:08Speaker 2: I like his little belly. All right. Good for you.
- 49:10Speaker 2: I also love Austin Kroll. I love all the bad ones. Yeah.
- 49:15Speaker 2: He's fun. Madison! That was my favorite era of summer.
- 49:20Speaker 2: of Southern Charm. Real House of the Beverly Hills.
- 49:24Speaker 5: Okay, so they're in Italy and it comes down to Dorit,
- 49:28Speaker 5: which by the way, I've noticed she does this thing
- 49:30Speaker 5: that's kind of annoying where she's always like, she's always like,
- 49:35Speaker 5: whenever she's talking, she's like, well, I'll tell you. Like,
- 49:39Speaker 5: it was, like, she's always, like, parched a little bit
- 49:43Speaker 5: and trying to get it out. And she's always like,
- 49:46Speaker 5: why is it that Kyle was so determined to make
- 49:51Speaker 5: everyone realize that I was an issue and let me
- 49:54Speaker 5: know that everybody is against me?
- 49:56Speaker 2: That is what Kyle did. And to me, that is inexcusable.
- 50:01Speaker 5: And then for Erica to get so upset because Bose has.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Like, I don't know.
- 50:06Speaker 3: So.
- 50:08Speaker 5: Everyone is like, bitch, you've been late a lot. And
- 50:10Speaker 5: it's been really fucking annoying. And then she's like, I'm
- 50:13Speaker 5: going through a very hard time, Erica. And Erica's like,
- 50:15Speaker 5: so have I.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Why?
- 50:17Speaker 6: What's been going on with you?
- 50:18Speaker 2: What's been going on with me?
- 50:21Speaker 5: I still live at a rental. I am still being
- 50:24Speaker 5: sued for like a billion dollars. My husband... Is in prison.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Screwed everybody over, including me. And it is in prisons
- 50:32Speaker 5: with Alzheimer's.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I don't know. Like, I don't know. Like, it was...
- 50:36Speaker 2: When she said that, I was like, oh, my God.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Well, you don't talk about it, Erica. Don't talk about it.
- 50:43Speaker 5: Because I had to talk about it for the last
- 50:46Speaker 5: three years. But you can still check in with me.
- 50:48Speaker 5: You don't think it's fucking stressful? Yeah.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Like, oh, my God.
- 50:51Speaker 6: And so then she.
- 50:54Speaker 6: They've just had it with.
- 50:55Speaker 5: Her and she is a smoker and she's been smoking
- 50:59Speaker 5: the whole time she's been on. And that's another thing
- 51:02Speaker 5: that they couldn't reveal. But now that smoking's in, they can.
- 51:06Speaker 5: But that lots of times she'd be off, not checking
- 51:09Speaker 5: on her kids, but having a cigarette break.
- 51:11Speaker 6: And I remember that back in.
- 51:12Speaker 5: The old days of working at Robinson's May that I thought, wow,
- 51:17Speaker 5: the smokers get to leave the building. They get to
- 51:20Speaker 5: leave the building and have a break. And I was like,
- 51:23Speaker 5: at one point, do I develop smoking? Do I say
- 51:27Speaker 5: I have an elderly mother that I have to get
- 51:29Speaker 5: home to because I don't have a kid? Like when
- 51:31Speaker 5: I was single as a non-smoker, you got no fucking
- 51:35Speaker 5: breaks at a regular job.
- 51:36Speaker 6: And I've said it over and over again. This is
- 51:38Speaker 6: a job.
- 51:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 5: And the longer they're on it, the more they're like,
- 51:42Speaker 5: I was at that boring fucking dinner. For four hours
- 51:45Speaker 5: and 32 minutes. And you left at three hours and
- 51:48Speaker 5: 51 minutes. Therefore, I'm fucking mad. Why couldn't I be
- 51:52Speaker 5: in my bed scrolling TikTok 40 minutes earlier? This is
- 51:56Speaker 5: why these shows.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Do need to be. And they had to go to
- 51:59Speaker 2: all the homeless, not toothless dinners.
- 52:02Speaker 6: Yeah, all that stuff.
- 52:03Speaker 2: They did all that for Dorit. They did all those.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Things for Dorit. And, you know, so that's her deal.
- 52:11Speaker 2: What do you think? I enjoyed Erica laying into Dorit. Oh, loved.
- 52:16Speaker 2: It was because I think there's just like, it was
- 52:19Speaker 2: a fatigue that I think the audience has felt of
- 52:21Speaker 2: being like Dorit, like we get it. You're going through
- 52:24Speaker 2: a hard time, but also like Kyle's going through a divorce.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Rachel Zoe's going through a divorce. Bose is having fertility issues.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Sutton's going through this identity crisis where her kids are
- 52:33Speaker 2: growing up and she's wanting to change her name. The
- 52:36Speaker 2: Catholic annulment. And her friend's dating him.
- 52:38Speaker 5: Her old friend might marry her husband in the Catholic church.
- 52:41Speaker 2: I wish we were able to. I know that like
- 52:43Speaker 2: legally she has trouble getting into that type of stuff
- 52:46Speaker 2: because of her ex. Yeah, that's so interesting. That's still
- 52:48Speaker 2: so much that she's like everybody's going through something. But
- 52:51Speaker 2: Dorit just sucks up all of the oxygen. in the room.
- 52:54Speaker 2: And then when we had him watch.
- 52:55Speaker 5: And then why should we feel sorry for you that
- 52:57Speaker 5: PK wasn't paying your bills? And then you go buy
- 53:00Speaker 5: four Gucci bags.
- 53:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 53:01Speaker 6: Which, come on.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Like, You don't need four Gucci bags. You don't need
- 53:05Speaker 2: the Kelly.
- 53:06Speaker 5: I wasn't like, this was the one thing they make
- 53:07Speaker 5: in Italy and I've been wanting it my whole life
- 53:10Speaker 5: and it's going to go up in value. So yes,
- 53:12Speaker 5: I did spend $ 30, 000 on this thing because I see
- 53:15Speaker 5: it as a little bit of a nest egg. No,
- 53:17Speaker 5: it was just like, no, I'm going to show you
- 53:19Speaker 5: that I can buy four Gucci bags.
- 53:21Speaker 6: And I was just like, ew.
- 53:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I don't want to hear you bitch about your money.
- 53:25Speaker 5: It's like when you lend somebody money and then they're like,
- 53:27Speaker 5: I'm going to actually, could you add lobster to that Caesar?
- 53:30Speaker 2: And you're like, Yeah.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 53:32Speaker 2: I thought you were broke.
- 53:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Cause I'm just having the regular Caesar.
- 53:35Speaker 2: So like, why? Anyway, it was, it's frustrating.
- 53:39Speaker 5: And I like, yeah, I, I think that, and then
- 53:43Speaker 5: when Andy brought up, like when she was on what
- 53:45Speaker 5: comes live about the being late, being late on the plane, um, it's,
- 53:51Speaker 5: you are never late. I'm not a late person. I
- 53:55Speaker 5: believe there's three types of people in this earth.
- 53:57Speaker 7: Okay.
- 53:58Speaker 5: There's the people who are 10 minutes early or always
- 54:01Speaker 5: on time. There's the people that are always 15 minutes late.
- 54:06Speaker 5: And then there are the people that are an hour
- 54:08Speaker 5: plus late who never feel bad about it.
- 54:11Speaker 8: No.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Who don't.
- 54:12Speaker 5: It's like, I'm here. It's such, it's the most arrogant thing.
- 54:18Speaker 5: And the fact that she left them on the plane,
- 54:20Speaker 5: walked in and was like, where do I sit? I mean,
- 54:23Speaker 5: if that was me and I found myself in that
- 54:26Speaker 5: position and it was something related to my kids i
- 54:28Speaker 5: would be bawling i would be like i'm a piece
- 54:32Speaker 5: of shit i cannot believe i made you guys wait
- 54:34Speaker 5: i'm fucking a shell of my human self like i
- 54:37Speaker 5: i tried to tell the producers they told me to
- 54:39Speaker 5: wait like i would have just said it all i
- 54:41Speaker 5: would have been like i can't imagine her just being
- 54:44Speaker 5: like well no now i do feel badly now.
- 54:48Speaker 2: You feel badly it's a fucking job it's a job
- 54:52Speaker 2: yeah even her apology, again, a job that she needs.
- 54:55Speaker 7: Right.
- 54:56Speaker 2: She needs the job because PK's not paying rent. And also, now,
- 55:00Speaker 2: not that I'm Team PK, but not that I'm not
- 55:02Speaker 2: Team PK, but I understand him not paying rent on
- 55:06Speaker 2: the house because he's like, you just got your book.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Her thing is like, well, the arrangement was you were
- 55:12Speaker 2: supposed to always pay for the house and you were
- 55:14Speaker 2: supposed to always pay for the bills. And after a
- 55:16Speaker 2: while of her just draining all of the money, I
- 55:19Speaker 2: would be- Well, also, and no matter how good a
- 55:22Speaker 2: divorce is and how rich you are.
- 55:24Speaker 5: The spending that you had when you were in love,
- 55:27Speaker 5: if that's your transactional marriage that you can shop and he,
- 55:31Speaker 5: you know, love you, I want this.
- 55:34Speaker 6: That's going to change. No one's fucking.
- 55:36Speaker 5: They're all living together. He's in an apartment. If you're
- 55:39Speaker 5: going to keep the house, like curtail the glam. Curtail
- 55:43Speaker 5: the shopping.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Look, I get it. I get it.
- 55:49Speaker 6: Mauricio is in this family drama.
- 55:53Speaker 5: His father, who I guess he and his mother, the
- 55:57Speaker 5: father and the mother divorced a long time ago. He's
- 55:59Speaker 5: had this girlfriend, the father, for 18 years.
- 56:02Speaker 2: 18 years.
- 56:05Speaker 5: And my understanding is they, he and his sister, are
- 56:09Speaker 5: now suing this girlfriend of 18 years for, you know,
- 56:14Speaker 5: like they don't think she's taking care of the elderly
- 56:17Speaker 5: father who has Alzheimer's well enough.
- 56:19Speaker 6: And they're suing her for.
- 56:21Speaker 5: $ 400, 000, which were gifts over the years that the father
- 56:24Speaker 5: gave her and also that she spent the money on
- 56:27Speaker 5: a facelift. I don't have all the details, okay?
- 56:33Speaker 6: I'm telling you what I think. Fuck you if I
- 56:37Speaker 6: was the girlfriend.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Fuck you. 18 years is not 18 months. No.
- 56:39Speaker 2: 18 years is significant.
- 56:44Speaker 6: You're going after $ 400, 000. I would hope that if someone... You're.
- 56:48Speaker 5: Going after some fucking jewels that he gave her and
- 56:51Speaker 5: that she got a facelift. Most women in Beverly Hills
- 56:55Speaker 5: get a facelift after a certain age. Your own wife
- 56:57Speaker 5: has gotten one. So has your sister-in-law. Your daughters have
- 57:00Speaker 5: had work done.
- 57:02Speaker 6: What does it matter?
- 57:03Speaker 5: So the woman that took care of your dad for
- 57:06Speaker 5: 18 years.
- 57:08Speaker 5: And if he has Alzheimer's or whatever... Oh, it's not
- 57:11Speaker 5: up to the... So now... She's not a good enough character.
- 57:14Speaker 5: You go visit your dad who doesn't know who I
- 57:17Speaker 5: am anymore.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Yeah. She took care of him for 18 years. I'm
- 57:21Speaker 2: sure he wasn't in pristine health 18 years ago. I'm
- 57:23Speaker 2: sure he's slowly been deteriorating.
- 57:25Speaker 5: And if they were never married, guess what?
- 57:28Speaker 2: Asshole, that's why you marry the girlfriend.
- 57:31Speaker 5: Because one day you might need her to actually really
- 57:35Speaker 5: take care of you. If you don't marry her, she's
- 57:38Speaker 5: free to go.
- 57:39Speaker 2: She's free to say, hey.
- 57:41Speaker 5: Your dad needs you guys to visit him and you
- 57:44Speaker 5: need to put him in a home because I'm not
- 57:46Speaker 5: in the will. I only got a few pieces of
- 57:49Speaker 5: jewelry over the last 18 years.
- 57:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Isn't there a law in California, though, where if you're
- 57:56Speaker 2: together for 10 years, there's like common.
- 57:59Speaker 5: No, that changed when gay marriage passed. That's my understanding.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Oh, the gays ruined it.
- 58:03Speaker 6: It was called palimony doesn't exist.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Palimony doesn't exist anymore. We may need to reverse it sometime.
- 58:11Speaker 5: My understanding is there was a time where palimony, when
- 58:14Speaker 5: you're with someone for seven years, you could sue for
- 58:17Speaker 5: palimony saying, I've become accustomed to this lifestyle.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:20Speaker 5: Then I believe, and a lot of gays would use
- 58:23Speaker 5: that because they couldn't get married.
- 58:25Speaker 6: And then my understanding is once they got married, that
- 58:27Speaker 6: kind of went away.
- 58:28Speaker 5: And so if you are in a non-marriage and you're
- 58:30Speaker 5: in a transactional thing where one of you makes the
- 58:33Speaker 5: money and maybe one takes care of the home or
- 58:35Speaker 5: the kids or the pets, you've got to make sure
- 58:38Speaker 5: that there is a, if you're not married, some type
- 58:40Speaker 5: of agreement where you're like for every year we're together,
- 58:43Speaker 5: I get a million dollars or, um, Buy me this
- 58:47Speaker 5: piece of property.
- 58:48Speaker 6: It's called real estate for a real reason. It's real property.
- 58:52Speaker 5: It can't be jewelry that can be stolen.
- 58:54Speaker 6: It can't be lost on a trip on the sea.
- 58:57Speaker 6: It can't be revoked.
- 58:58Speaker 5: You know, like put my name on a real piece
- 59:00Speaker 5: of property and then your nasty kids can't take it
- 59:04Speaker 5: from me when you die. And they act like I
- 59:06Speaker 5: never I never was there for 12 Christmases.
- 59:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Then he was seen with, he's got a girlfriend, some
- 59:15Speaker 5: girl from love Island.
- 59:17Speaker 2: I'm tired of him and all his little 23 year
- 59:19Speaker 2: old girlfriends.
- 59:20Speaker 6: Well, she was, she has a house.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Kyle has a house in Nashville and she's been spotted
- 59:25Speaker 5: by many people enjoying a cute lunch with Morgan Wade.
- 59:30Speaker 5: I'm going to make you love me. Well, she came
- 59:32Speaker 5: and bought a house in Nashville. I said, I don't
- 59:34Speaker 5: know why you're living here. We're just friends.
- 59:36Speaker 2: But good for her. Good for her.
- 59:39Speaker 6: Nashville's a fun town.
- 59:40Speaker 2: She's Sierra chasing West.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Or they just have a good time together. I could
- 59:48Speaker 5: see her moving on from the housewives. I'm very curious
- 59:50Speaker 5: to know who will be in the cast next season.
- 59:52Speaker 5: I think there'll be a big shakeup in Beverly Hills.
- 59:54Speaker 2: I think there has to be at this point.
- 59:56Speaker 5: And they're moving towards such younger cast now, like Rhode
- 59:59Speaker 5: Island just premiered.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Very young cast.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Besides, I think this one woman who looks like Dolores,
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: who from New Jersey pops over to like bring it
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: together but they had one episode and the juiciest part
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: of it is there's this really pretty girl who's like
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: 30 who is a um lives in an enormous gorgeous
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: home and she's had this boyfriend for like 10 years
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: or something and they're not married and she doesn't have
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: kids and he just goes lives in Miami for six
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: months when it's better to be in Miami than Rhode
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Island and And then when it's nice in Rhode Island,
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: then he's her boyfriend. And she just waits around for
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: six months, but she doesn't have to work.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: So it pays off.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: And she comes out with a story right away because
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: she's like, this is probably why they picked me.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: And I think because they're not married, either he doesn't
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: even know she's doing this. And she's like, well, if
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: you break up with me, at least I've got a job.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Or... he, or she's like, well, you're going to realize
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: how great I am and you're going to get rid
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: of Miss Miami. But I mean, now everybody knows who
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: he is, who probably they've figured out who the woman
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: he spends with in Miami. I mean, you know, and
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: his dad was some famous judge or something. And so he's,
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: they're very, very wealthy and he's, so that I think
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: is pretty juicy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think she was like, I mean,
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: it's at this point, the playbook has become so transparent, right?
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Like Bronwyn, you, you're in a weird situation. So you
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: go on the show to give you your second leg
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: and then you can leave the relationship.
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: And you know, you either get your real estate license
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: or you get on the real housewives.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: And then sometimes you have to do both.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: Sometimes you have to do both.
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I mean, I don't, I honestly don't know if Rhode
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Island has legs. That's my hot take.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: I wasn't, I kind of, I'm like, look, I'm, I'm curious.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: I think it's interesting groups of people. I think that
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: people have said you're going to die. There's so much
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: like juice behind it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: That's what they said about Dubai. That's what they said
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: about the Roni reboot. Well, we'll see. That's what they
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: said about the Vanderpump reboot.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: I like the Ashley Eye is interesting.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: She's from The Bachelor. I was a fan of her
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: because she was like an old virgin. And she then
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: falls in love with the other guy she met on
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: that was in The Bachelor franchise. They have two of
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: the most beautiful boys. They kind of both, they kind
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: of look like brother and sister, first of all. And
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: then they made like these beautiful like eyes or like,
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: I don't know. They're just really cute. And so she's
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: in the thick of it now. She's two little boys.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: They run this coffee shop. But he was from Rhode Island.
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: So like she.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Gets in it.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: And I think that's interesting.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: But it's a lot.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: It's like they're skewing it all so young now that
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: it's just a lot of child rearing.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: And I'm like, I don't know.
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: I mean, I think the sweet spot of housewives is
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: you are married and you have some kids, but they're
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: kind of older and they're not really part of it.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: Like maybe they're like 12 and above.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: And so you have time to go out and go
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: on things and you're not looking like a bad mom.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: If you go spend a week in Ireland or whatever,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: like there.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: And I just feel like right now there's a lot
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: of shows that are a lot about little babies and
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: little kids, but.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Whatever. Might be good. I don't think it has legs.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: All right. I think it needs a scandal to keep
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: it around. Otherwise, it's going to die like Dubai. All right.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: The Valley came back. On the poster, there's 13 people.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: That doesn't include Jesse's girlfriend that's come to the play.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Lacey.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: The juiciest part was Lala, who her second daughter Sosa,
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: she went and you know, they shared it on Vanderpump
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: Rules and everything that she, after having the breakup of
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: her relationship with her ex who produced her daughter Ocean,
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: then she wanted to have another baby.
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: So she went to a sperm bank. And when I was.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Talking to Lala back then, and she was telling me
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: about it, I go, are you gonna buy the whole lot?
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: And she goes, what do you mean?
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: And I said, if you can afford to, or if
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: they can give you a deal, you should buy the
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: whole lot because I have friends who have done this.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: And- Then they find out, you know, that, oh, well,
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: maybe it's nice, but maybe it's not. My kid actually,
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: there's 13 other people. But you could also not know
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: and possibly those two people could fall in love, whatever.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: It's just so if you can. So she did do that.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: And they have this scene where she's joking with Luke,
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: who's Kristen's fiance, and they have a baby together. that
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: Sosa looks like him. And then he goes, I actually
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: did donate sperm. And she's like, ha ha, but not
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: to my sperm bank. And he goes, no, I did.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: And then they go back and they're like, she's like, he's,
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: he's this, he has a business degree. And he's like,
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: I do have a business degree. Like, but I think
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: did it, did a followup that they actually did a
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: test eventually.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: And it's not his kid, right? Well, it's definitely not
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: his kid because she saw what the guys looked like.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: You have to see.
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: No, she didn't.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: This is what you don't know. Really?
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: They give you only baby photos.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Oh, that's weird.
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: They give you baby photos or childhood photos so you
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: can kind of see. Like I told her, my friend
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: who did it, okay, but she did it 22 years,
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: 20-something years ago. As a single woman, she was 40,
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: and I go, how did you choose? And she said,
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: I chose a sperm that, I mean, I chose a man.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: which I only saw baby photos that looked like me
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: because she was blonde and fair. And she's just like,
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: I want the baby to look like me if I'm
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: going to have a baby. And so I said that
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: to Lala too. I'm like, you might want to like,
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: you know, choose somebody that really kind of looks like you.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: And I said, and she said, they only show you
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: the like childhood photos. So you could kind of go, oh,
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: this sort of looks or whatever, because you could run
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: into them. You could find them. You might recognize them
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: from Tinder. Like it's to protect the donor.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Interesting. So I don't.
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: Know if that works the same with eggs.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: It doesn't.
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: But at least and I think maybe any place could
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: have their own rules.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Yeah. You know what I mean?
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: I think if if it's like, hey, if you're willing
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: to show your you. at every stage of your life,
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: then your egg will go more because go for more
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: because people kind of really want to see how you
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: grew up to be me. I think anything can be negotiable.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: It's just up to your thing.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess so. Yeah.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: And like, so anyway, um, I think we, I think
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: I read somewhere that eventually they're, Spoiler alert, they do do.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: A DNA test or something.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Probably.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: But the reality of them springing on her in that
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: moment was beautiful reality TV. And then when they reveal
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: it on the after show and the guys didn't know,
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: that is not acting.
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: No.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: And that was really... And they put them side by
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: side and it's like.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: And he looks exactly like the little girl.
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: Yeah, like sparkling blue eyes and fair and.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Who knows?
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: But, you know, it's good right now.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Kristen and she are.
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: Getting along and Kristen is not getting along with.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: What's her name?
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: What's the girl's name? Michelle. Janice. Janet. Janet. Janet.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: And I thought this was it.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: They have a pool party off camera and Brittany invites everybody.
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: It's hot as shit.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: It's summer.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: I really felt for Janet in this story. So she
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: invites Janet and she invites Kristen. And Kristen's like, Janet
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: better not be coming. And Brittany's like, oh.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: God, she's probably not going to come. She always flakes.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: Don't worry about it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: She won't come. She won't come. Just come.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: She won't come.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Janet, it's fucking hot as shit.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: It's the valley.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: Brittany has a nice pool.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: She has a toddler.
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: All kids want to do is go swimming.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Okay, that's the scary part because many of them can't swim.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: So it's like not a good time for you until
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: they're like 10.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: But they want to go swimming.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: And she goes, I went there and Kristen's immediately like,
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: what's she doing here? So she had to get her
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: kid and leave. And when Janet said, and wrote Brittany
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: and was like, why did you invite me? Now my
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: baby is crying. And like, I just thought, Brittany, I
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: know you have a heart, the heart the size of Kentucky,
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: but like, Don't fucking do that when it involves kids
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: and a pool.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Well, I don't think she thought it was. But you
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: don't invite two people and then, and no, like you
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: need to go.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: Like I, we've all had that situation where you either
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: invite one or you go, are you guys cool to
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: be together?
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: And one says yes.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: And one says no.
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: And one goes, you know what? invite them I'm gonna
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: bow out you don't and then say.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Bring your kids where a toddler is like all with
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: his like little wings on it's like come.
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: On that's awful anybody Janet doesn't have a pool Janet
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: I want to invite you to my pool party I
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: feel so bad like I really feel badly And then
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: Brittany goes and she has fun with a guy that
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: she's no longer with.
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: But they went to Cabo and.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: She's like, I got my sparkle back.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: I mean, but I do, what I now, what I
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: actually really like about featuring Cruise is I'm thinking, like,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: he runs up to the camera.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: He has autism.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: And he runs up to the camera and she's laughing.
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: I actually think in his case, it will be interesting if,
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: Having the cameraman around, maybe that's beneficial. I think some
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: people might have been like, this baby isn't—I don't know.
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: Nobody's ever really tried it before. Like, having other people around,
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: and he seems to like them. Like, he seems to be, like.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Going up to them. Well, we saw it with Jacqueline
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Loretta with her son on Jersey Housewives.
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: Remember?
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: We didn't—I feel like we didn't see him that much.
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: I don't know, because your brother has autism.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: So I kind of wanted to ask you, like— I
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: don't know.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: I thought when she did the sensory room, I thought
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: that was really cool.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: That's coming up, I think. I don't know if you.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: She does... She goes, I did.
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: I put everything in his playroom the way they do
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: it at the therapy.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: And I thought that is really cool because there's people
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: at home that might really get some great ideas from her.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: I think that's the biggest beneficial piece. And I think
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: even with Jacqueline, you know, I remember when she was
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: going through that. And I'm still really good friends with
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Jacqueline to this day.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: When.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: you see someone going through it. You just, you feel seen,
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: like you get it, you understand. And then you see
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: things that they're doing and, you know, you're able to,
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: to kind of support each other, even though it is
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: kind of through the TV and Brittany and I have
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: DM about it a bit. Um, and you know, I
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: just told her, I was like, listen, I have every
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: resource you could ever want. Just, you know, let me
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: know what you need. And I'm here to help you
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: at any point. Cause I mean, it's tough. Um, And
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: it's nice to see Cruz at least reacting in a
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: positive way and not being overwhelmed by the cameras because
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: it can go either way. But it seems like, you know,
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: he's enjoying himself. And I would imagine that also, you know,
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: makes things easier for her, too.
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, she's just positive and doing it her own.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: I mean, do we know where Jax is?
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Last we heard, he was, what, living in Tom Schwartz's
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: apartment building? Remember when he moved in there?
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: I just wonder, like, I mean, it sounds like she's
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: not getting support from him.
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: No.
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: And it sounds like he doesn't have an income.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. His podcast is gone. His tour
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: got canceled. I don't know what he's doing. I mean,
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: he's probably— I could see him doing, like, a Cam Soda deal.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: You know, Cam Soda's always reaching out to the reality
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: stars to have— So it's Cam Soda. Yeah.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: Is this a joke?
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: What is cam soda? It's streaming, like adult streaming. Oh,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I thought you meant like a soda.
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: No.
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: I was like a soda drink.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: No.
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: And I'm like, you know, like Poppy or something. I
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: was like, what are you talking about?
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Oh, well. I could see him going, who is the-
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I hope not. Chad, bad Chad from The Bachelorette. He
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: pivoted to OnlyFans. I could see Jax going in that direction.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Jen Shah.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: She did her People magazine, which, by the way, I
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: predicted that. I think I only said it at my
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: live show in Salt Lake. But she was on the
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: cover of People or did a People interview, which they filmed.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: And the little bit that I saw, you know what?
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: Don't miss you.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: No.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: Don't miss you at all. Don't want her back on
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: the show. Don't need her back. She still felt very little,
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: still no accountability. Like, not until I was, you know,
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: walking to the courthouse did I realize that there were
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: actual real victims. She's still not saying, like, We were
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: scamming people, but I didn't think it would lead to,
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: you know, them ending their life or being destitute. I
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: just thought we were scraping from the top from a
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: lot of people.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Just be honest.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: Yeah. Like, you're not being honest, so I don't want
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: to see you ever again.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, that's right. She's just like, you know, I
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: didn't realize that what I was doing was wrong. And
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: then I had to take accountability once I did realize
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: it was wrong. It's like, no, you knew it was
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: wrong because the feds were investigating you for years. And
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: we saw the messages where you're instructing your team. to
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: get rid of the servers. You moved your operations over
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: to Kosovo. I mean, they.
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: Don't bring you, they don't put together a federal case because,
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: you know, they were like, oh, she's on the Housewives
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: and has a Gucci bag.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Like, there's a lot. Yeah, they'd investigated, and she knew
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: that they were going to come to her because all
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: the other people that were doing part of this part
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: of the other pieces of this fraud scheme they were
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: all going down and they were all flipping on each
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: other so she was inevitably going to get pulled into
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: it and that's why she was like I'm innocent and
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: I'm fighting for people that don't have the means and
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: it was just it was such a.
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: Bad look I don't think anyone is this is my
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: prediction and they're not always right I don't think she's
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: going to be picked up for other shit no I
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: don't think there's anything funny juicy compelling Teresa won our
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: hearts over.
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: She was interesting.
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: Her case was different. And Teresa was bamboozled. And it
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: wasn't a malicious thing that she was actively doing like this.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: That was your whole business. And you're walking around bragging
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: that you're a businesswoman. And she was always screaming. And
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: I always thought it was performative. So I never liked her.
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: And I'm just like, I don't care about you and
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: Coach Shaw and the Polynesian Cultural Center.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: I don't care what your life. I don't care about you.
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: Please.
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: Please.
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: Please don't come back to Salt Lake.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I watched the full interview, and there were moments where
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: she's charismatic, and there were moments where I was like, oh,
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: you know? And then I was like, no, Zach, she's
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: a con woman. Wait, what part turned you on?
- 1:15:12Speaker 5: No, I don't... About the hemorrhoid pads that she put
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: on her face?
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Oh, that was funny. She was like, I was the
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Ulta of prison. I learned how to get hemorrhoid pads
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: and use them as an astringent for your face. Like
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: there were just moments where I believed that she, you know.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: She looked good. She looked really pretty. She does look good.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Where she's like, you know, the restitution, we're paying everybody.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Like there were just little moments where she would just
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: come across soft. And then I was like, no, that's
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: literally her whole thing. She's a con woman. She knows
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: exactly what to say and how to, you know, how
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: to lower her voice and like how to do all
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: of these things to make you, you know, like her.
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: Taylor Franker-Paul, the latest is she says she's moved away
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: from the Mormon church, but she does believe in Jesus.
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: And she did a whole thing that got, you know, 100,000 likes.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: She went away with her older kids and thanked some
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: company that I guess sponsored her. And many people have
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: been subpoenaed for the temporary restraining order that Dakota has
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: tried to put on her.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: So they are going forward with that.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: Dakota's also been cut out of the villa footage of
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: where the dad talks went to the villa, which is
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: coming out.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: That happened.
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: And also Jesse, who does hair, who had an, who
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: had a affair with Marciana from the villa, they're posting
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: that they're a couple now. And everyone's just like, exactly.
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: Everyone is like, I think I'm tired.
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: I'm exhausted. When I saw Jesse and Marciano at Sola
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Gave in Salt Lake City and I, and then Harry
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Jowsey's jumping in and he's like, like commenting and posting
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: like his text thread with them being like, what's going on?
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: I was just like, I I'm tired. Like you guys
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: are doing too much. And it's just like, it's, it's fatiguing.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Like the only one I like is Whitney. Cause she's
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: just like, I'm out of this drama. I'm doing Broadway.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: I'm with Mark Ballas and we're doing Roxy Hart. And like,
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: we want no part of that drama. And I'm like,
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: you're the only one that I actually like even like
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: right now. Cause the rest of them are doing Tik
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: TOKs and doing videos and like trying to like, The
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Jessie stuff just looks so bad. Like, we don't like Jordan.
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: The Jessie stuff, I think, is she's, like, scared that
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: the show's going to go away completely from Salt Lake
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: City and only film in Orange County with the other
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: girls that have moved and their new cast.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Well, that's not even a real show yet.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: Okay, well, I think she's striving, and I understand why.
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: She's got kids. She has, you know, a couple baby daddies,
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: I think, or maybe she only has one. But anyway,
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: she has a couple kids. She has this huge business.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: She cannot go pick up and go to L.A. for $ 100, 000
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: a year to be on a show. So she's got
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: to keep the filming in Salt Lake City. So I
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: think she's doing whatever it is. And in the meantime,
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: she was attracted to Marciano, so let them walk around
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: and party.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: I want to thank you so much for coming. Zach,
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: tell everybody where they can follow you.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: You do great work. Yeah, great work taking down Blake Lively.
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: The smear campaign. No, I'm just kidding. Zach Peter all

- 1:18:29Speaker 5: Bye.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: before bed.
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: Or two.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: You know, nobody's watching.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: You deserve a treat.
