  SPEAKER_00: This is a moment to quiet your heart and draw near to God and receive encouragement from his word.

  SPEAKER_00: Today our message will be about when you're feeling bound, when you're feeling you can't move forward, when you're feeling that no matter what you do, you're not moving forward.

  SPEAKER_00: And the word for today is the book of John, chapter 8, verse 36.

  SPEAKER_00: It says, if the Son therefore shall make you free, you should be free indeed.

  SPEAKER_00: If God set you free, you are freed indeed.

  SPEAKER_00: That means it was not a partial um setting free.

  SPEAKER_00: It wasn't that He set you free just momentarily.

  SPEAKER_00: No, He who He set free is free indeed.

  SPEAKER_00: You are free, you are free, you are blessed, you have authority given by God, but you have to believe that as a child of God, you were made free and free indeed.

  SPEAKER_00: So this is for someone here today that feels that they want to move forward, they want to do so much, but somehow, some way they feel bound.

  SPEAKER_00: Have you ever felt like you wanted to move forward, but felt something just pulling you back?

  SPEAKER_00: Perhaps maybe something from the past.

  SPEAKER_00: Perhaps it's shame.

  SPEAKER_00: Probably a repeated habit that you cannot let go of.

  SPEAKER_00: You find yourself letting go of it maybe for a year, maybe for a few months, and here you are again, back to the same repeated habit.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe even in a relationship.

  SPEAKER_00: That belief in your mind is telling you you're not gonna change, you're gonna die in this sin.

  SPEAKER_00: You cannot let go of this sin.

  SPEAKER_00: But I got news for you.

  SPEAKER_00: Someone here that's hearing me today.

  SPEAKER_00: There is, there is hope because hope comes in Christ Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: There is hope that this too shall pass.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you're feeling bound and you're feeling exhausted, exhausted of feeling the way you're feeling.

  SPEAKER_00: But that feeling does not have to become the final word over your life.

  SPEAKER_00: No, it doesn't.

  SPEAKER_00: Jesus speaks about freedom from sin in this passage and this Bible verse.

  SPEAKER_00: And his freedom goes deeper than appearances.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, goes deeper beyond our imagination.

  SPEAKER_00: He does not merely teach us to look strong, he calls us into a new life with him.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's what he does.

  SPEAKER_00: He calls you into a new life with him, that you know that in Christ Jesus you are free and free indeed.

  SPEAKER_00: We begin by bringing the truth into the light instead of hiding.

  SPEAKER_00: Well, you hide today will control you.

  SPEAKER_00: Anything that is hidden will come out in the light sooner or later.

  SPEAKER_00: Instead of hiding it, sharing it with someone that you trust, sharing it because you have to confess that sin and let it go so it won't have power over your life.

  SPEAKER_00: I want you to ask yourself today, what keeps drawing me away from peace, from truth, and from obedience?

  SPEAKER_00: What is holding me back from that?

  SPEAKER_00: What is holding me back to live a life that is peaceful?

  SPEAKER_00: What is holding me back from walking in the truth?
• 3:59
  SPEAKER_00: What is holding me back from walking in obedience?

  SPEAKER_00: And name it before God honestly, name it to God.

  SPEAKER_00: Say, God, this is what's holding me back.

  SPEAKER_00: Then choose a practical step.

  SPEAKER_00: Do something different, pray over it, speak to God about it, surrender it to God.

  SPEAKER_00: That may mean changing your routine, removing the access to a temptation, seeking accountability, or asking a counselor or a pastor or a leader or someone that you can talk to for prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: Because let me tell you something, alone is hard.

  SPEAKER_00: But with God, it's possible.

  SPEAKER_00: God is the God of the impossibilities, God is the God that can see you through any difficult situation.

  SPEAKER_00: And maybe being set free may involve daily decisions rather than one dramatic moment.

  SPEAKER_00: If you stumble, return to Christ and reach for support.

  SPEAKER_00: He says seven times the righteous will fall, seven times the Lord will lift them up.

  SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter if you fell.

  SPEAKER_00: What matters is what you're gonna do now that you're down.

  SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna get up or are you gonna feel sorry for yourself and not wanting to move forward?

  SPEAKER_00: No, get up and know that God loves you so much that He tells you the same way He told the paralyzed man in the pool of Betesta.

  SPEAKER_00: Do you want to be healed?

  SPEAKER_00: Get up, lift up your mat and walk.

  SPEAKER_00: And God is telling you today, how much do you want it?

  SPEAKER_00: Do you want to be made healed?

  SPEAKER_00: Do you want to be made whole?

  SPEAKER_00: Get up, do something about it.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't just stand there.

  SPEAKER_00: Do not allow shame to convince you that there is no way forward.

  SPEAKER_00: The Lord, right now, is inviting you to follow Him today, right where you are.

  SPEAKER_00: Take the next step towards a life that reflects the truth of God.

  SPEAKER_00: And I want you to know that while you're alive and you still got breath in your lungs, there's still a new chance, a new day.

  SPEAKER_00: This is the day that the Lord has given you to rejoice and be glad in it.

  SPEAKER_00: Whatever it is, do not be ashamed to come to Christ and tell the Lord, Lord, I need you.

  SPEAKER_00: Lord, I need help and intervention in this problem.

  SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna see that the Lord will guide you and guide you where you need to be.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to say this prayer for you, and in Jesus' name, I believe that this word touched the heart of someone that is tuning in, someone that's needed this power word for today.

  SPEAKER_00: Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we bring to you, Father God, any truth, Father God, that is in the places where we feel trapped, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: You know what we think before we even think it, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: Receive your grace and take wise steps towards freedom and deliverance, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: Give us all the courage, Father God, to ask for help and strength to keep walking with you, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: Allow us, Father God, to understand that with thee we are already complete.

  SPEAKER_00: We're living in a wilderness.

  SPEAKER_00: We're living in a world full of so much, so many chaos, but we also know that we weren't left here alone.

  SPEAKER_00: You sent the comforter, Father God.

  SPEAKER_00: You sent your Holy Spirit to guide us and see us through all the way, Father God, until the time of redemption.

  SPEAKER_00: I ask you in Jesus' mighty name, Father God, that whoever is hearing this word today, Father God, saturate them with new strength, mighty God, from up above and allow them to see, Father God, and feel, Father God, that they're not alone.
