- 0:00Hello and welcome to another episode of the Christian.
- 0:03We podcast, today's guest is a business, owner, brand manager
- 0:06and podcast hailing, all the way from Lebanon.
- 0:09His name is Sergio hella be welcome to the show.
- 0:13Hey, dude. Hi Chris, how are you?
- 0:16Thank you for having me. It's a pleasure.
- 0:18It's a pleasure. It's always good to have a
- 0:19fellow podcaster on the show. I've got plenty of questions to
- 0:22ask you, so I'm just going to jump straight into this.
- 0:24Really your the host of the Paradigm Shift podcast for those
- 0:28watching the video version of this podcast.
- 0:30We can see a big sort of graphic that you've got.
- 0:33There is that it like a canvas or what what is it looks like it
- 0:36is it is like it's like a canvas and I printed this on this
- 0:41printed a yeah it's very, very professional, very envious.
- 0:48I kind of got a Vibe for what you're talking about with the
- 0:51podcast, but I like to let my guests kind of say in their own
- 0:54words. So what exactly can you tell us
- 0:57about this podcast? What is the Paradigm Shift
- 0:59about? Yeah, so basically, my whole, I
- 1:04feel like my whole purpose in life, like something I've always
- 1:07yearned for and I always found very interesting is knowledge
- 1:10and seeking of truth, no matter what it is, and just The idea to
- 1:15ask questions that's basically even if the answer tends to be
- 1:19exactly what you already know. But as long as you ask the
- 1:22question or ask new questions or someone tells you something and
- 1:26you go like mmm never thought of that before, you know that to me
- 1:30is like you know, it's such a good feeling and when I decided
- 1:35to start my podcast, that was the aim basically just exploring
- 1:40different ideas, the exploring old thoughts and What people
- 1:45thought true at the time? What we could go back to and
- 1:48just you know, asking ourselves new questions seeing if a new
- 1:52answer comes up and then just go ahead and see what comes up from
- 1:56that. Like I always like to my
- 1:58favorite thing, my favorite thing whether it's on the
- 2:01podcast or that comment on my Instagram page or anything when
- 2:04someone says I never thought of that, you know.
- 2:07That alone is like yep. You just gave me everything I
- 2:10need. So that's all I want.
- 2:12I totally agree with you. I think that For me in my own
- 2:17life. Same thing, you know this your
- 2:19knowledge I think when you make that realization that, you know,
- 2:25you will never know, enough doesn't matter how intelligent
- 2:28you become, even if you become the absolute Master, a
- 2:31particular field, there's always something new to learn.
- 2:34There's always things to be questioned.
- 2:35So yeah, totally agree with that.
- 2:38It's still it actually applies to that.
- 2:40Like there's this joke, where the more, you know, the more,
- 2:42you know you don't know, right? Yeah.
- 2:45The morgue I get into deeper into any Rabbit Hole.
- 2:48I got like they still so much more and it just never ends but
- 2:52it's to me it's like the spice of life you know.
- 2:54That's that's why what's that fat?
- 2:56That famous quote possibly as Einstein but someone said that
- 3:03Knowledge is an inconvenience blanket, you know, like them as
- 3:09in. Yeah, the more, you know them,
- 3:11the more it's kind of like a it's just painful that's also
- 3:16taken into that. That's where that ignorance is
- 3:18bliss. Kind of mindset comes from and
- 3:21I've seen some of the happiest people I've ever met in my life.
- 3:24Exactly. Because it's like, it's and it
- 3:34never leaves you at like, makes you question.
- 3:36So many things all the time, you know, it's kind of like this,
- 3:40can I just shut my brain down for 5 seconds?
- 3:42And not think about everything? Okay, I got it.
- 3:45Would you rather all that topic? Then?
- 3:46So, would you rather your ignorant to everything?
- 3:51And you just, you don't know the truth.
- 3:53You know, you're just ignorant and you live a very, very
- 3:55simple, simple life. And, you know, nothing.
- 3:57So basically just a just an idiot and there's nothing wrong
- 4:00with being an idiot. I'm just saying that, you know,
- 4:01it's Yeah, right, or you know everything or know a lot but now
- 4:10you've got all the weight of the problems of having that
- 4:12knowledge and what comes associated with that and the
- 4:15responsibility as well. I'll choose the weight and the
- 4:18responsibility every day, like, I like, it just gives me so much
- 4:22gratification. I can't, I can't think of low.
- 4:26I sometimes I wish you'd just because it's in the moment.
- 4:30I need to, you know, relax or come.
- 4:32But most of the time. It's just like, yeah, I just
- 4:35need more of this. I think it's becoming quite an
- 4:38addiction. Like it's it fits something into
- 4:41me. I don't, I can't explain it now.
- 4:43I know what you mean. Knowledge is addictive.
- 4:46I found myself kind of learning about so many different fields
- 4:49some field. I never thought I would become
- 4:51knowledge about but I suppose through this podcast, especially
- 4:55after a lot of research in definitely guest.
- 4:57So I end up sometimes I read up on things so I would then better
- 5:00understand the top. Epics then I know what questions
- 5:03to ask as a result of that, sometimes you have to do that
- 5:07but I do find myself kind of having more intellectual
- 5:10interest in conversations with people now.
- 5:12But then you often find out you take things like I don't know
- 5:16conspiracy theories, politics Finance World issues, whatever
- 5:20the more and more and more, you know the more you just kind of
- 5:23sit there sometimes going oh no the world is is screwed.
- 5:27Oh yeah. Made me go like, oh, I wish, I
- 5:34didn't know this. You know what I mean?
- 5:35Like, like I was like, in that case, I was happy ignorant.
- 5:39But like, I got this book by John Perkins confessions of an
- 5:43economic Hitman and like it should, I'm like, I'm just a
- 5:47pawn. I'm just, I'm worthless, and
- 5:50this political Financial world, I'm nothing, you know, so that
- 5:53kind of, but I try to kind of Center or guide myself into
- 5:58specific topics, like, for me, the topics that I discussed in
- 6:01my own, On my own podcasts. It's simple like everything
- 6:07related to you know, ancient civilization in history.
- 6:10Some conspiracy theories here and there some philosophical
- 6:13ideas like I try to stay away from the dirty side of the world
- 6:18like when it comes to politics when it comes to, like I said
- 6:22finances and all that it's just to me I admit that I'm not so
- 6:27knowledgeable in that nor would I actually want to do that to my
- 6:31I My whole stick is to just stay within what has always
- 6:38interested me ever, since I was a kid, like first time, I switch
- 6:41TV and Discovery Channel and I saw, you know, documentary about
- 6:45the pyramids and I was like, this is it, this is, this is
- 6:48everything I ever want to know, you know, everything ancient
- 6:50just throw my way. Well that's that's push into
- 6:53that bit more. So like what are some of the key
- 6:55topics that you discussion on the Paradigm Shift podcast?
- 6:58Let? Well, what are the main things
- 7:00like? Okay, if you had to sum it up,
- 7:02Let's say, you know, this is your advert space and you're
- 7:05just going to sum it up with a paragraph per se.
- 7:09What exact why, what? Why are people listening?
- 7:11What are they looking out for? What can they find each week?
- 7:14Well, it took me a while to kind of come up with the tagline
- 7:17actually that they use for my for my podcast and other stuff
- 7:20but it's it's just exploring truth through forgotten
- 7:24knowledge. Forgotten is he here?
- 7:26So so what I what I like to do is go back in time and see what
- 7:32what? Have people built on like, when
- 7:34we look at the first civilization, when we look at
- 7:36the first Trilogy, and the first time, anyone thought of anything
- 7:39that to me feels more authentic than anything we have going on
- 7:42right now because because that to me, it feels devout of any
- 7:47political gain or any personal. Its it was just there, you know,
- 7:50as an expression of the culture that that was at the time for
- 7:54the first cultural, let's say let's talk about Somalia.
- 7:57For example, in Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq.
- 8:01You look at this. Civilization, that came from
- 8:03nowhere and it was the time where we moved from Humanity
- 8:08from being hunter-gatherers and just like walking all over the
- 8:11Earth and doing all that to become.
- 8:15We became settlers, we discovered agriculture, farming,
- 8:20and all that stuff. And to me that, that really
- 8:24asks, like it raises so many questions that no historian or
- 8:28an archaeologist. Or scientist has given me a and
- 8:32And so forth, you know, like the a a legitimate answer for I feel
- 8:36like there's something that is either forgotten.
- 8:40Like I said, or something that is being kept away from from
- 8:44from all of us now and that's where I like to delve into and
- 8:49ask new questions. Basically man, do I have
- 8:52questions for you on here? Wow.
- 8:54Okay yeah, I've wondered about the same things.
- 8:56Many times I do feel like there is this massive Gap because it's
- 9:00like, suddenly as you say, we go from hunter-gatherers or just
- 9:04hunters and then there's this big gap and then suddenly wear I
- 9:09guess you could sort of say civilized?
- 9:11Okay let's look at the word civilization really and
- 9:14truthfully. It generally refers to just like
- 9:16a community, you know, of people living together and they've
- 9:20agreed to live in a particular way, right?
- 9:24That's what we, you know and then there's of course when you
- 9:27spend loads of time like this say in the countryside and then
- 9:29you come back to like the city you say, oh, I'm back in
- 9:32Civilization and back where things are happening in such and
- 9:35it's like I wonder sometimes Ames because the human mind is
- 9:40an amazing thing. You know, I sometimes ideas can
- 9:43just come to us, you know, like I'm a creative person.
- 9:45So for instance, if I write a song, I get the feeling I get,
- 9:50you know, the idea comes to me, I see it as like, a gift from
- 9:53the universe and I just see myself more as a messenger than
- 9:56yeah, that's why I don't really take compliments from people
- 9:59because I believe that that doesn't come from me.
- 10:03I'm more just taking, what is being given to me and then
- 10:07turning it into something. Which is then there's actually a
- 10:10name for that. I don't know if you're familiar
- 10:12it's called the field. Have you ever heard of it?
- 10:14Nobody stumble their head that I thought you'd be interested.
- 10:18The field is this a theoretical plane?
- 10:21Basically of existence if you want to work all ideas flow and
- 10:27they kind of overlap sometimes over like let's say specific
- 10:30people or something and that's when you can like grab an idea
- 10:33and I don't know if you've ever noticed it, but it feels like
- 10:37when someone gets an idea. Dia like at the same time you
- 10:40know, like thousand books and at the same time, get the same
- 10:43idea. I don't know if you experience
- 10:45it that. Like I also have this, I noticed
- 10:48it because I own a coffee shop and at like it's so weird
- 10:53because sometimes when I'm sitting there and I see people
- 10:56come in, it feels like today, everyone wants to drink this
- 11:00specific drink, it's insane. Like it's like they it's not
- 11:04play seeing each other because they not at the same time but
- 11:08Out of nowhere. It feels like why is everyone
- 11:11suddenly interested in this specific thing or topic or
- 11:14whatever? And then the next day comes and
- 11:16something else happens. I actually imagine, like,
- 11:18there's something floating above, it's really weird.
- 11:22There's a person that I follow on Tick Tock and she's into,
- 11:27she's like, a I guess I guess a which I don't know, she's into
- 11:31like astrology and things like that and fair enough, if you're
- 11:34not into that stuff I get it me personally I have an open mind
- 11:38to things I've lived in Europe. I've lived abroad, I've kind of
- 11:41seen different ways of life met, lots of people from different
- 11:44walks of life. So my mind is very open to all
- 11:46the possibilities. So I'm open to it and she often
- 11:50talks about this thing that happens several times a year
- 11:54called. I think it's Mercury in
- 11:56retrograde, which is basically yeah, you know, to something.
- 11:59Coming up. It's like the idea that the
- 12:02planets when they align in a certain way can affect us and
- 12:06there's different things. You know, for instance there's
- 12:08there's arguments that the moon has an effect on our on the way
- 12:12we behave. So if there's a full moon,
- 12:14there's likely to be more crime or party, then we'll more and
- 12:18makes you feel something. And then you kind of get angry
- 12:21the few days before the new more, and I've heard of all of
- 12:23that. Yeah, but here's the thing.
- 12:26It can't be a coincidence because every time that she
- 12:28indicates Old Mercury is in retrograde right now.
- 12:31So you might be feeling this this, this this and this I kid
- 12:34you not every time it happens things.
- 12:36No, seriously things. Start going bad.
- 12:39The internet stops working. Like, everywhere in the world as
- 12:42well. Yeah, it's just a very strange
- 12:47phenomenon and it makes you wonder The end of the day we get
- 12:52told this is the frames of the existing to these things are
- 12:55ridiculous. This is ridiculous.
- 12:57I remember when I first learned about tarot and readings and
- 13:04stuff like that, I always I grew up thinking oh it's just BS, you
- 13:08know, because of America because there are charlatans in America
- 13:11that they do things like you know that you get brought into
- 13:14the work of the devil. Those people in America that
- 13:21like, they make it into a farce and they bring 50 people into a
- 13:24room. Let's say, oh my God.
- 13:26Yes, yeah. I hate to think they get them to
- 13:28fill out a questionnaire before they come in, and they sit down
- 13:31and they go, your grandfather's name.
- 13:35Exactly. Andrew.
- 13:36And it's like, oh my God. Yeah.
- 13:40Oh my God, your grandpa's name. Like he says, does that mean
- 13:46anything to you? And she goes like my sister's
- 13:48brother. Someone who's like, you know,
- 13:51like, but like the British don't have that information before
- 13:54they walk in. So like yeah, but obviously
- 13:56that's six inches into society and it you know it makes you
- 14:00think that okay, for the most part it's BS.
- 14:02But then I remember when I say living in Europe and I got
- 14:06reading, I've never told anyone on this podcast this before, but
- 14:08here we go. Here's a, here's a new thing, I
- 14:11had readings over there and I was open to it, but I was very
- 14:14skeptical because, you know, I grew up in a very scientific
- 14:17mind of always been kind of like a Somewhere between an agnostic
- 14:22atheist. Again, I'm more like spiritual
- 14:24these days, but my mind is open. Yeah, I may even looking into
- 14:27religions now and taking bits and pieces and kind of looking
- 14:30at everything and see what I can learn.
- 14:32Because I think there's always just it's better to just learn
- 14:35as much as you can. Of course, of course.
- 14:37But when I was open to these these tarot readings and
- 14:40spirituality in Europe, there were certain instances where I
- 14:44had readings where it was absolutely impossible.
- 14:49Yeah. Them to have.
- 14:49The information that they had or to understand what I was
- 14:52thinking in that moment is impossible.
- 14:56Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:57Because I hadn't told them anything I hadn't told anyone in
- 15:00the room, or anyone associated with them, anything they just
- 15:03knew and it freaked me out. Yeah, but it also made me think
- 15:09I think that's a lot about being.
- 15:10Yeah, a human being that we do not understand.
- 15:12As you say, these planes of existence that are out there.
- 15:15These Des Des Des think that just going back to what you're
- 15:19saying about the ideas concept. You know, everyone having the
- 15:21same idea like whenever I create videos on on platforms like
- 15:27Tick-Tock. I do like these little shorts,
- 15:29these little funny skits, whatever, right?
- 15:31I know that like about a million other people in the world have
- 15:33had the same idea and I always find that interesting because
- 15:36it's exactly the same idea. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:39You know, it's the concept of an original idea.
- 15:43Quite frankly is impossible. I think what's happening.
- 15:46Is we get re-imaginings? We get weary.
- 15:50Tell the same stories again and again, and again.
- 15:54And again, and we relay that information to each other in
- 15:57different ways. And I think they're the only
- 15:58thing that really truthfully changes over time is
- 16:00communication. So if you look at the way,
- 16:03modern society is, now means, for instance, or a big thing and
- 16:07emoticons, we went back to the holographic Serie of.
- 16:12Yeah. Binds with like we can actually
- 16:14communicate with a me just now only.
- 16:17Yeah. Really?
- 16:19I imagine. Yeah, I mentioned but then they
- 16:20probably even had some form of meme.
- 16:23They probably made ya funny. Drawing know there's a.
- 16:26Get it by jokes. Yeah, yeah.
- 16:27Yeah. It's amazing how we have that as
- 16:31a species but you said something is interesting about originality
- 16:36and like there's the same but like nothing is new Under the
- 16:39Sun or something like that. And this is what Kind of drives
- 16:43me towards the study and researching of these ancient
- 16:46civilizations because it seems that out of nowhere.
- 16:50They created something that has never existed before and ever,
- 16:54since then, we have not been able to adapt duplicate
- 16:57something like this because everything we have done since
- 17:00then has been just an evolution of it.
- 17:03But there is this, like a point in time where something
- 17:07drastically happens. And it doesn't really align with
- 17:11what. Like, for example, you know how
- 17:12this Say, you can't imagine a new color, right?
- 17:15Look like if we physically can't imagine anything, we go through
- 17:18in our dreams or imagination is a build of several things that
- 17:23we have seen before or several ideas or thoughts that are
- 17:25coming together. So it's impossible for you to
- 17:29visualize something new. Even like for example when
- 17:32people because I've spoken about this in my on my podcast, about
- 17:36the near-death experiences and you have these people who expect
- 17:39to go through something, you know, for 45 minutes late.
- 17:42Officially dead. And they, when they come back,
- 17:45they say I've seen this and I've seen that and even they can't
- 17:49have works for what they've experienced they say, okay?
- 17:52So I'm going to try to explain it to you in the closest way
- 17:55possible, because there is no way for me to describe something
- 17:58like this. Now what that indicates to me is
- 18:02that like the first person who ever put a painting on a cave?
- 18:07For example, like the first one ever, how did that even happen?
- 18:12You know what I mean? Like you have created something
- 18:15that ever since that moment a million years ago till now we
- 18:19have simply tried to create and evolve and get better at but you
- 18:24were the first one to think. I'm just gonna express myself in
- 18:28a way. No one ever has expressed
- 18:29themselves before ever in history, right?
- 18:32And this jump that we had like they say Homo sapiens and the,
- 18:38the other family ancestors that we have near that long at all.
- 18:42As Homo erectus and all that was another one.
- 18:45Wasn't that there was three, there was her me sapiens.
- 18:48They are the toes. And then there's a third one
- 18:50that homo erectus possibly Europe and all over.
- 19:10And then basically the Modern Man.
- 19:13And we're was going to this like basically we have existed in
- 19:20that form for a long and 1.8 million years.
- 19:24That's the the lengths of all those and sisters living
- 19:27combined and until we will reach.
- 19:29And then they tell you that 10,000 years ago, all of a
- 19:33sudden they decide. Okay, let's just build cities
- 19:36and you know, Agriculture and and build monuments that till
- 19:40now we still don't know how they built.
- 19:42Like not only the the shift that they did a shifter to plug the
- 19:47shift that they did was Monumental that.
- 19:51It doesn't even aligned with the history that we are being
- 19:54taught, you know what I mean. So that puts a lot of questions
- 19:57and this is where I'm most interested in.
- 20:01Like a lot of people make fun of these ideas or yeah, like some
- 20:04people say, oh aliens built the pyramids really inside that and
- 20:07all that and these ancient astronaut theory is a no.
- 20:09But to me it's not so much about not knowing how These things
- 20:13were built. It's more about what these
- 20:15people were worshipping and how they describe things around
- 20:19them. That is the key to me, not in
- 20:22just The Monuments. They left behind which were
- 20:24incredibly amazing. And yeah, we tell now we stop.
- 20:28We have to only theories about how they were built, but just
- 20:31but when you look at their religions, you look at their
- 20:34mythologies and you you start to think about like when you just
- 20:38see them from a bit of a different point of view with the
- 20:40knowledge we have now over A science.
- 20:43And over other things, it really puts a huge question mark as to
- 20:47what these people were actually describing, you know what I
- 20:50mean? Like, like you have this this
- 20:54ancient Sanskrit, you know story that actually describes an
- 21:00atomic bomb. Like the way it describes, the
- 21:03vegetation dying from radiation, the way it talks about how its
- 21:09it has the power of a thousand suns exploding.
- 21:12Holding at the same time how it affected the world around it and
- 21:17how after that. Nothing grew for hundreds and
- 21:21hundreds of years. You go like how can a
- 21:24civilization, describe something?
- 21:26So accurately that we now know of this day and age, this is
- 21:32this is key his question for you relate to this because I've
- 21:36always been curious about this particularly when I look at
- 21:41civilizations like The Aztec sinkers Etc or the Egyptians
- 21:45even do you think it's likely or what are your thoughts on the
- 21:50concept that we have reached or even surpassed the level of
- 21:56intellect and technology that we currently have?
- 21:59But at some point for whatever reason, those civilizations were
- 22:04completely eradicated and hidden deliberately like buried and the
- 22:08knowledge of that buried. So like what I'm saying, but
- 22:11this debate is down to four. We won.
- 22:13We have got to the point that we are now or surpassed it, but for
- 22:18some reason, they decided to destroy that or we were wiped
- 22:21out or something and then we essentially rebuilt again.
- 22:24So basically, there's like stuff in history that's missing.
- 22:27What do you think about that? There's it's definitely.
- 22:30It's definitely the stuff that has been hidden.
- 22:32Not only we have because we are very technologically advanced at
- 22:37the moment, right? Like we're at the peak of
- 22:38humanity, know that, but we are not so much.
- 22:41So on a spiritual level. Evil, like, in terms of
- 22:44spirituality, these civilizations were much more
- 22:48advanced when you read the regulations, when you read.
- 22:55Trying to do exact understanding of of life and death and what
- 23:00comes after and all that it shows you that this has been
- 23:04they have they were much more advanced spiritually and
- 23:07mentally than we are now. So it does feel like at some
- 23:12point there has been a cover or like you said a reset button was
- 23:18clicked at the destruction of information which is Is key like
- 23:25information is how you advance there is literally no other way
- 23:29for any civilization or culture to advance other than knowledge
- 23:31knowledge is key. So so some knowledge some
- 23:35information have been kept. Like I said, either they were
- 23:38lost or have been kept on purpose away from us right now,
- 23:44living, all we have to do and that's what's weird to me
- 23:48because all you have to do is look open books that have been
- 23:51written and just to lead them in a new light.
- 23:54And you can completely like, it blows my mind.
- 23:57Like, I was Catholic brought up in my country and, you know,
- 24:02Catholic school, Catholic mom, everything and everything.
- 24:05So, I came back, I really understood and my mom studied
- 24:08Theology and she kind of passed it on to me as well.
- 24:11So I kind of have a very deep understanding of Christianity
- 24:14and Judaism and all that. And the country where I am now
- 24:16is, is a Muslim country. So, I've also spoken about
- 24:20people about Islam. So, and and when you, he look at
- 24:23the Abraham, Religions all three the abrahamic which is a
- 24:26Christianity Judaism and Islam. If you look at the Old
- 24:30Testament, for example of, in the Bible, both the Torah and
- 24:33Christianity, like these people were describing alien
- 24:37encounters. And not knowing it, like, I can
- 24:39read you right now, this paragraph.
- 24:42And it's from, from the book of Kings from the book of kings,
- 24:47and it talks about Elijah and I'll just read it for you.
- 24:51And, you know, see it from a A new encounter with someone and
- 24:57then tell me what you think says as they were walking along and
- 25:01talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared and
- 25:07separated the two of them. And Elijah went up to heaven in
- 25:11a whirlwind. At least I saw this and cried
- 25:15out my father, my father, the Chariots of Israel and Elisha
- 25:18saw him no more. So you you're talking Out this
- 25:24Bible and fucking about the specific Prophet Elijah and how
- 25:28he while he was talking with his son, suddenly something a
- 25:31chariot that had fired appeared in the sky and literally pulled
- 25:36him up whirling upwards. Okay, how many times have we
- 25:41heard about alien? Encounters?
- 25:42Or in? Abductions from people, whether
- 25:44they do or not is not the question here, I'm not debating
- 25:47whether this is happening. I'm debating description of the
- 25:50story, like if someone is writing at that time cup.
- 25:54Six thousand years ago he does they don't have the words to
- 25:57describe new things. Like if I see something flying
- 26:00in the sky, I would call it an airplane, I would call it a UFO,
- 26:03I would call it a helicopter but they didn't have.
- 26:05They had the only thing that would transport them is a
- 26:07chariot. So this Chariot that is
- 26:10supposedly made of fire flew above them, and literally took a
- 26:14person into it and that was never ever return to Earth.
- 26:17You know what I mean? Just like, when you start to
- 26:20eating stuff like this, you go like, what are They describing
- 26:25like, in real ugly reality. What are they talking about?
- 26:27And this is the basis of three of the biggest religions that we
- 26:31have in the world that we're not talking about some ancient stuff
- 26:35that have disappeared or no longer believes that.
- 26:37This is the basis of abrahamic, religions, right?
- 26:41Watch the series recently which I would implore everyone to
- 26:45watch it Sokka. Paranormal supernatural horror
- 26:49series but it's centered around a religion and it's Midnight
- 26:54mass so Netflix and it's really good.
- 26:58Yeah, go for it, go for it, man. Trust me.
- 27:00But the thing that really spoke out to me and okay, is there I
- 27:05forgive spoilers? I have to kind of explain it.
- 27:09Go ahead, go ahead. Sorry.
- 27:11So spoilers for anyone that hasn't she been like mess.
- 27:14Basically what happens is it's a small community living on an
- 27:19island and they're all religious.
- 27:23I guess fundamentalist Christians.
- 27:25I don't know that they're not like extreme but there's like,
- 27:27you know, in a typical Community you've got some people that are
- 27:30like really, really devoted and the rest of them are fairly
- 27:32devoted you whatever. Yeah.
- 27:34And the sheriff on the island is Muslim and he has a Muslim son.
- 27:38So there's a dynamic days. It's very interesting, like, how
- 27:41they put this together. Interesting.
- 27:43Yeah. And based is the basically, it
- 27:45was a small community. You know, when you've seen them
- 27:47everywhere, small towns in different countries, right.
- 27:50Yeah. So what happens is, Um, this
- 27:56monster basically lucky it has like wings and it resembles an
- 28:01angel. And there's a particular scene,
- 28:06where they reveal this, Angel to the whole church and obviously
- 28:11they're all terrified. And one thing that I found,
- 28:14very, very interesting is there's this particular
- 28:16character and she, to be honest, she's like, the biggest villain.
- 28:20She's like your magic. Imagine that one.
- 28:23In in the church. That's just like constantly
- 28:25preaching. Constantly making everyone feel
- 28:28bad, constantly, cut that woman. There's always, I want the
- 28:31missed, you know, like that. Yeah, there's always that one
- 28:35person. And she's not, she's not even
- 28:37the preacher. She's like, yeah, quoting from
- 28:40the Bible, to justify everything.
- 28:42Like so she even know she's a bad person.
- 28:45She'll make it seem like she's the perfect Christian, and
- 28:48everyone else is a sinner. Kind of that value, right?
- 28:51Yeah. But interestingly, This ain't
- 28:56this. Angel is quite clearly, not an
- 28:57angel as we learn to, I guess, I guess it's vampires.
- 29:01I don't know what the five there is, but, you know, the
- 29:06interesting thing. There's two interesting things
- 29:07that I found one is that when they're talking about this alien
- 29:10and they're trying to get everyone in the church to like
- 29:13calm down and not be terrified of the alien.
- 29:15They say, don't forget in the Bible it says then you know do
- 29:19not be fearful of but I am with you and all that.
- 29:22Yeah, you know and and it Sense and it's like it kind of put
- 29:26this idea in my head that if you believe in that and you believe
- 29:31in the concept of angels, maybe Angels were terrifying creatures
- 29:35similar to demons and that would make sense, you know?
- 29:37Yeah it would follow and secondly as we dive into this
- 29:44story more and you quickly realize, okay, this Angel is
- 29:47not, it's a monster, it's bad. It's trying to basically wreak
- 29:50havoc that fundamentalist Christian, that the Lady.
- 29:54That's like really, really kind of trying to defend everything.
- 29:58She is blindly defending everything.
- 30:02The actions of the, the main priest who basically made all of
- 30:06this happen, the angel, everything like they are
- 30:09literally running around killing each other and then basically
- 30:13becoming essentially vampires. I guess, I don't know, it's
- 30:18really welcome, okay? But but they're they're selling
- 30:21this guy's of that, you know, old they are Born again, they
- 30:25are they are being given a gift from the gods.
- 30:28Etc. Yeah, yeah.
- 30:29And it really made me think about this, this concept of
- 30:31like, Tying in to what you just said about, you know, trying to
- 30:35make sense of things that are not within the Realms of what we
- 30:39consider to be normal. You know, be that religious
- 30:43spiritual paranormal, or even, I think there was probably a lot
- 30:52more as you say, back in the old times, there was more connection
- 30:57and more spirituality, and we understood things more and
- 31:00that's probably but we just maybe didn't have Words to
- 31:03articulate ourselves as clearly as we do now.
- 31:06But then obviously we've entered a more scientific age where
- 31:08things like that, I just reject it.
- 31:10Even to this day, you know, things like spirituality and the
- 31:13concept of the power of stones or whatever.
- 31:15Like, all these things are rejected because, you know,
- 31:19they've been mocked and movies. They've been mocked and
- 31:21literature. They've been mocked by see
- 31:23everything. That's that's my issue.
- 31:25When it comes to, like things being rejected by science, not
- 31:30only has science, you know, rejected so many.
- 31:33Ideas that later were proven. Correct.
- 31:34But that's fine. Let's say.
- 31:35Science is always in research and all that stuff.
- 31:39The problem with the approach that that people are having.
- 31:43Now like for example, if someone I thought about this a couple of
- 31:46months ago and like if someone says, do you believe in God?
- 31:50And let's say I say okay. Yeah, I believe in God and they
- 31:53say, Okay, prove that he exists, right?
- 31:55So my my response to that became that if our That God is the
- 32:04super, you know, entity that is outside of our physical world,
- 32:08right? And you're here asking me for
- 32:11the proof that he exists. You asking for a proof in the
- 32:15physical rules that you have for something that is outside of the
- 32:20physical world. You know what I mean?
- 32:21I can't prove something to you like even when it comes to these
- 32:25old stories, for example, because when we think aliens, we
- 32:28only we always think it's a physical presence, right?
- 32:33Like, it's something from another planet.
- 32:35But my, you know, movie reading into your apology and other
- 32:40stuff like that describe certain beings that are outside of the
- 32:44physical, they don't even work with them that.
- 32:46Well, that's what I'm saying. So you're basically saying or
- 32:50implying that perhaps alien life does exist, but not in the
- 32:54Physical Realm, not in the 3D necessarily.
- 32:56It could be something like if people encounter something and
- 33:00they can't really have any proof of it, they say.
- 33:03Thing left there is no that we are still looking for a physical
- 33:07proof for a non-physical entity. That's why a lot of people refer
- 33:11to them, as more extraterrestrial than they are
- 33:14aliens. Because there's something about
- 33:16these beings. For example, that is outside of
- 33:20what we Define as reality, and we know that our perception of
- 33:23reality is unbelievably limited, like they they are equipments
- 33:27that that detect like for example frequencies from the Sun
- 33:32that we cannot see. See, right, like we can.
- 33:34We expect them is so limited. There is things outside of our,
- 33:38the what, the ultraviolet, and the infrared.
- 33:41And outside of that Spectrum, there is exists a lot of things
- 33:46even on when we want to hear something, or when you are
- 33:50everything is vibrating in a specific way, throughout reality
- 33:54and we have a tiny taste of what it is.
- 33:59I've always thought. the reason that we've not had, I mean, we
- 34:05definitely had any encounters, I think, but I think that why they
- 34:10have not revealed themselves to us in a big way.
- 34:12Is I go back to and again, I'm a massive nerd.
- 34:14So sorry. But if anyone's ever watched
- 34:18like Star Trek next Generation or the Star Trek movies, one of
- 34:21the big things that they always push, is this idea that they
- 34:26never interfere with worlds that are still developing and that
- 34:29you know, for instance in one of the movies it's called Star
- 34:32Trek. First Contact Whole point of it,
- 34:34is they go back in time, Bubba, blah.
- 34:37And they go back to the point where humans first made contact
- 34:40with an alien race, being the Vulcans, and they basically,
- 34:45they only interjected. So they've been monitoring them
- 34:47for a long time, but they only interjected and met with humans
- 34:51when they discovered warp drive. So, the ability to travel faster
- 34:55than the speed of light. And just looking at that from
- 34:58like a logical perspective for a second, it stands to reason that
- 35:01if there are aliens that do exist out there, And speaking to
- 35:04what you said about, how maybe they don't operate within the
- 35:09realm of hard physical work. Yeah.
- 35:11That our physical world, the dimensions, Third Dimension.
- 35:13Maybe they are in existence, in the fourth, fifth dimension,
- 35:16Etc, and maybe they are waiting for us to get to that point
- 35:21again. Maybe we were in the past, maybe
- 35:24100 years ago, we were there, but something happened.
- 35:27Something. I don't know.
- 35:29I agree. I agree completely because even
- 35:31if you want to apply it to us right now, like You know, how
- 35:34those you see some pictures of this tribe that live with like
- 35:38very remote from. And they have no contact with
- 35:41anyone outside of their Island. I think there was one last year
- 35:45that came up like someone went there, and he was killed on the
- 35:48spot or whatever. I don't remember.
- 35:49But basically, like, you see pictures like, far from fog and
- 35:54you can see them living on this island, right?
- 35:57And think of that from their perspective, what are they
- 36:02expect to them? They die.
- 36:04Island is the whole world. Like there is nothing outside of
- 36:07it. They are incapable of perceiving
- 36:10buildings and cars, and the internet, and all that stuff so.
- 36:15And but to them, they are still functioning.
- 36:17We can see them from far. And we have we don't want to
- 36:20interfere and all that and this is as simple as just, you know,
- 36:24a neighboring Island that we can just travel to.
- 36:26And we're choosing not to because, you know, whatever want
- 36:28to keep them in all that stuff. But when you look at it, from
- 36:31their point of view, they are living there.
- 36:34Daya reality on this basis of idea, that the only thing that
- 36:37exists and matters is us this island this drive and that's it.
- 36:40There's nothing else outside of it so you can imagine what this
- 36:44infinite Universe. We live in so many different
- 36:47dimensions. So many different realities.
- 36:50That, of course, there's something that is your being,
- 36:55you know, watched monitored, someone knows, you exist.
- 36:57Something is, is there and whatever stories we hear from
- 37:02time to time throughout our history.
- 37:04A about encounters about someone experiencing something in the
- 37:08Paranormal, hearing your voice seeing something.
- 37:11It's based in someplace safe, some sort of reality that this
- 37:15is based on. And I have this theory, that
- 37:19kids children below the age of seven.
- 37:22They 100% Can perceive things that we as adults.
- 37:27Can't. I have experienced it firsthand
- 37:29and I'll tell you the story. But the reason why I believe
- 37:32it's before seven is because After seven and eight, that's
- 37:36when you become more socially conditioned to what is real, and
- 37:39what is not what is accepted and what is not, whether it's from
- 37:42society, whether it's from religion culture, people around
- 37:45you all that and you have these ideas.
- 37:48When children are asked specific questions that they give you
- 37:51like, sometimes give me goosebumps.
- 37:53I have a, my son is eight now and two or three years ago, I
- 37:59kind of just decided to ask him in the car.
- 38:02Guy was with him and he was like, but what do you Think
- 38:04happens before you are born. Like, where do you think your
- 38:08work before you were born? He looked at me and he was like,
- 38:13Well, I see this big space that is made of white light and I see
- 38:19in the middle of it, a golden light where I feel very
- 38:23comfortable and that's where I was living.
- 38:26Not like, that's incredibly specific for something.
- 38:29And then when I research near-death experiences and what
- 38:33people talk about, that's the exact description they have.
- 38:38I have this woman who are basically, like raised, Me and
- 38:43I've known her all my life and she did go through a negative
- 38:46experience when I was 19 or 20 and I sat with her and I spoke
- 38:52to her. And I was like, so, what did
- 38:53you, what did you experience? How was it, what did you see?
- 38:55And she described it in details about, like, being in a white
- 38:59space surrounded. By these creatures that she felt
- 39:01so much loved, she felt at home. She saw a golden light.
- 39:06This isn't like any look, my son.
- 39:08Who was 605 at the time, you know, was online to kind of Get
- 39:12this idea from someone else. Not this old lady who is 70?
- 39:16Also was online to get these ideas from someone.
- 39:18It's just like it's some sort of truth that is within us and and
- 39:23it's been you know covered with so much conditioning and so much
- 39:27thought Swag. Like science tells you know
- 39:29nothing happens. There is nothing.
- 39:30You were imagining you were hallucinating you exist and
- 39:33that's I think The reason why it's hidden from us is because
- 39:40it's power and that makes sense from a historical perspective.
- 39:45Because if you think about it, like if you take British history
- 39:48as an example before, money became the thing that everyone
- 39:53worships essentially. Well, as in the new Gods,
- 39:57whereas in the thing that I can control, you know, look yep.
- 40:00That's capitalism your money drives.
- 40:02Everything, if you have money, you have more power and
- 40:05influence. If you have no money, you
- 40:07Nothing like you cannot influence or change anything?
- 40:10Yes, that's how it works. But before that was religion,
- 40:15you know, that that's how you control people.
- 40:17That's how you know, people control the Church Controlled
- 40:21you with fear. Always if you do this you're a
- 40:22sinner and you're going to hell and that's how and they still to
- 40:25some extent have that power of people.
- 40:29Some church really believe in that concept.
- 40:31Yeah, I think Dirt, when you start tapping into spirituality
- 40:39and you start tapping into these things, you start lonely about
- 40:41these things and you learn about the possibilities, that's when
- 40:45things get interesting. And I think they're terrified of
- 40:49people. The people that control the
- 40:51world of, I don't, I don't think they want.
- 40:53They want people to get involved with that.
- 40:55They know all about that, I think.
- 40:56Yeah. Yeah.
- 40:57And that's why it's painted in such a bad way, like
- 41:00spirituality and then they would call it.
- 41:01Oh, this is the new age. Oh, this is hereditary.
- 41:04See, all this is And that and what's weird is that I haven't
- 41:09spoken with anyone including myself who has tried to apply a
- 41:13spiritual life about self-empowerment about things.
- 41:17And I have witnessed the change in my life, the change in me and
- 41:22in other people. Whereas, all the abrahamic
- 41:26religions do is take the power away from you, like they'll
- 41:30physically, literally tell you. You are nothing, you are a
- 41:33sinner. You are not worthy.
- 41:35You are. Born like this.
- 41:36And the only way you can save yourself is if you listen to the
- 41:39church. If you read the Quran, if you
- 41:41read the toga, if you listen to the priest, Rabbi whatever.
- 41:44So there's this destruction of self from the day.
- 41:48You were born that your, that is little like in Catholics like,
- 41:52you are born with the original sin, right?
- 41:54Like I have you heard of that in terms of?
- 41:56Yeah, the other your bonus sooner and you have to repent,
- 41:59born a sinner, imagine imagine a god like it even contradicts
- 42:03what the religion teaches because their religion Stitching
- 42:06this all, loving, and pathetic. And compensating God has created
- 42:11everything through love and then oh, you know, this baby who just
- 42:14born. Yeah, he's born a sinner, you
- 42:16know, like it just it doesn't apply at all.
- 42:20And it's all about taking the power away from you because they
- 42:23don't want you to be powerful. They don't want you to ask
- 42:26questions and this even applies to this idea, came to me,
- 42:30recently about education in itself, not just in terms of
- 42:33straight line. Exactly what I was gonna ask
- 42:35you. Yeah, looks like it because you
- 42:44have to conform to everyone else.
- 42:46You should not have this specific ideas.
- 42:48Like I would try to you know, colored my hair or do something.
- 42:51No, individuality you supposed to look exactly like it want you
- 42:55to look and you supposed to think exactly, like we want you
- 42:57to think. And this idea came to me
- 43:00recently and it literally blew my mind because the idea of
- 43:04school in itself. Apparently came because they
- 43:08wanted people. I don't know if you've heard of
- 43:10this or not. So at the time of the Industrial
- 43:14Age people who falls out, we'll all like Farmers, they were
- 43:17living in villages, they were very uneducated and they needed
- 43:21people who can operate within the Industrial Age of go to her
- 43:26to the warehouse, go to the work within the industry machines
- 43:30operate and then go back home. So they don't want you to
- 43:33actually build your own self. And become your own boss and
- 43:37open a bit. They want you to study.
- 43:39So they made the education system because the killer just
- 43:42so that you can have enough intelligence to operate a
- 43:46machine of a great enough and then go home.
- 43:49And you know, you're going to be dead by the time you're 60
- 43:51anyway, so it's not like you're going to need it.
- 43:53After you retire the entire educational system that we have.
- 43:57Now does not help you for anything in life 00.
- 44:01Like, I look back at my school district, where was my, where
- 44:04where did they teach me how to Save money to buy a house.
- 44:07How to fix my card? How to have a relationship with
- 44:11someone without fucking it up? I'm sorry.
- 44:13Yes, without how to, you know, everything that you can that we
- 44:19need right now. Empathy understanding people
- 44:23learning sign language, for example, learning all the stuff
- 44:26that cooking cooking. Let's say, yeah, everything that
- 44:30you need to do on your own. You want thought that you were
- 44:33taught about this, you know? Math Vector.
- 44:36I don't know what like this function that it goes to the the
- 44:39infinity like who I is that I stagger assist theorems but who
- 44:44needs that other than people who are going to become math
- 44:46teacher? So it's like literally a pyramid
- 44:48scheme, you know what I mean? Like the only way to benefit
- 44:53from what you learn is to teach someone else cuz no one in real
- 44:55life is using it or unless very specialized in it.
- 44:59So yeah, everything is just geared towards, you know, become
- 45:04conformed. And like listen to the only
- 45:07truth. We tell you this is it any idea
- 45:10outside of it is wrong? Is going to be ridiculed, does
- 45:13not apply and you know, move on Yeah, totally agreement.
- 45:20Oh, they're just keep keeping this kind of Particular
- 45:26conversation going, where do you stand on the Paranormal ghosts
- 45:32and things like that? Yeah, I know.
- 45:35I I can't deny, I can't deny. It's that there's something I
- 45:40can't deny. I don't know if I would say.
- 45:43It's a ghost of someone who was living before or not.
- 45:46I can't really tell, you know, or be sure of anything like
- 45:50that, but I have experienced something that was really
- 45:53paranormal, like, it was very, you know, short, but it was
- 45:57insane. Like I was, I was around, I
- 46:02think, 17 or 18 and I was coming back home.
- 46:05I was with my sister in the car, she was driving and we got into
- 46:08this fight. Whether sister fight, I was
- 46:11really angry. She parked the car before she
- 46:14finished packing. I went down from the car guy.
- 46:16Went up to my house and opened the dog went and I'm alone.
- 46:21Very angry, like extremely angry.
- 46:23And I don't even remember why I just remember this this thing
- 46:26inside of me, I go inside to the kitchen, turn on the lights.
- 46:31Now from the switch towards the back, the light.
- 46:34Light bulb, is it needs like maybe five steps turn on the
- 46:37light. I walk in to the kitchen, still
- 46:40with this wage around me and the lightbulb above me explodes.
- 46:47I'm not saying it stopped working.
- 46:49You know, it actually explode like it shattered everywhere in
- 46:53the kitchen glass like completely shattered.
- 46:57And in this exact moment, I felt like something has left me, you
- 47:02know, like it was like like I was so shocked but at the same
- 47:05time I was calm was that just happened?
- 47:09And it's literally in my hair on the food on the table everywhere
- 47:12everywhere and I can't explain it.
- 47:15Like, it's literally felt like there is this something that
- 47:18left my body and went into it II?
- 47:21Can't, I can't explain it, nor do, I honestly care if people
- 47:24believe it or not and all that, you know, I I know it's like
- 47:28it's inside like this happened. I know, right?
- 47:32Yeah. Like I've always kind of been
- 47:35interested in this because I've never seen anything but I've
- 47:38definitely felt bad feelings going into.
- 47:41I remember when I was so I lived in a country called Estonia for
- 47:47about three years and I was visiting there a little bit
- 47:51before I actually started living there.
- 47:52And there was this particular prison, it's called one but that
- 47:57I'd prison it used to be an old C4 and then it was converted
- 48:01into a Soviet prison at some point.
- 48:04And at the time that we were visiting it.
- 48:08It was weird because like they didn't have like proper
- 48:11precautions so that you can walk through and there's like smash
- 48:13glass everywhere and books lying around that also yes, it's kind
- 48:16of amazing but also Kinda. Yeah.
- 48:18Yeah. And there was lots of quite cool
- 48:20art, installations and all this stuff put in.
- 48:22But I remember what was really interesting to me was, you know,
- 48:27I went to the areas like, the main Courtyard, the prison
- 48:31rooms, the doctor's surgery area that the light.
- 48:35Is that Frozen in time, and I remember even, Into the cutting
- 48:39block where they used to shoot people and I felt nothing in all
- 48:42those places. But okay, for some reason when I
- 48:47went downstairs with my then partner we both went downstairs
- 48:52and there's a very dark area so it really dark and dingy we went
- 48:56downstairs to what I guess would have been the showers the
- 49:00bathrooms whatever. Okay I instantly felt Terror
- 49:05like just a dark feeling like I just felt like we need to get
- 49:09out of here and she felt the same way like the only way out
- 49:13the same way as well. Yeah, the only way I can
- 49:15describe it is something bad happened there, and you can feel
- 49:21and that this is what people often talk about.
- 49:23When they talk about paranormal experiences, they say that
- 49:26whatever. Even if there is a ghost or
- 49:30experiences happening there, it's an echo of the things that
- 49:34happened. It's like a Perpetual replay.
- 49:38Of a memory stuck in time and it's the it is energy energy.
- 49:42Yes. What it is dark.
- 49:44And if the word Echo, I love the word Echo by the way that you
- 49:47used. Yeah.
- 49:48I feel like did it feel like something doesn't want you there
- 49:54or it felt more like I don't want to be near this feeling.
- 49:58I just I didn't want to be near it, but I felt more like
- 50:06Something just bad had happened. I just I felt you know, like
- 50:10whatever this area was obviously, it was showers
- 50:14toilet, like something bad happening, maybe someone got
- 50:16murdered there, may be other nefarious.
- 50:19Horrible things happened there. You know, you can make that in
- 50:22your head. Yeah, yeah, something bad
- 50:25happened and I felt in the energy was still fresh almost.
- 50:30This is very easy if you didn't feel it in the other places.
- 50:33No no. And that's the surprise ending.
- 50:35Don't like oh, surely. I'd feel something in the area
- 50:38where they used to shoot people and stuff.
- 50:39Yeah. Nothing nothing at all.
- 50:43I mean the whole thing would do. Give your own was a whole
- 50:45experience. It was, it was quite.
- 50:47I can imagine surreal, but, you know, I've been to other prisons
- 50:51and stuff and you don't always feel things but that was very
- 50:55telling, I think. Yeah, and I've, I've had it in
- 50:59other places. I remember there was this is
- 51:02just coming to me. Now I remember My great
- 51:06grandma's house. I was lucky enough to meet my
- 51:08great grandparents and this was on my dad's side.
- 51:13And she was kind of, not speaking of the dead, but let's
- 51:16let's just say she wasn't the best person that she wasn't, she
- 51:20wasn't the nicest person. She was always nice to me.
- 51:23She's lovely. Okay.
- 51:24And my mom but to everyone else that's so much and what I
- 51:28gathered is that she had not had a particularly happy life, you
- 51:30know, it is what it is. But I remember I always hated I
- 51:37was very young. That's maybe five six.
- 51:40I always remember hating to go upstairs to go to the bathroom.
- 51:43I always hated that, but I remember one time I walked into
- 51:46her room and it's just a typical old ladies from bear dinner the
- 51:53mirror, all that stuff. But I felt Scared like really
- 51:59scared. I like irrationally that there's
- 52:00no reason to feel shit. Like some people might just say,
- 52:03oh, well, you were young, you were on your own and it's like
- 52:05my parents were down known as you know what I mean?
- 52:07Like, yeah. Could just go downstairs.
- 52:10It's not like I was in some sense, the different types of
- 52:13fear, okay? Like I'm sure you they are like
- 52:15you could be afraid and then they stagger like the one that
- 52:19like is. Yeah yeah and it was it wasn't
- 52:21Terror was like I felt like someone else was there.
- 52:25Like, I felt like a present not a presence as I say, but I felt
- 52:29like I wasn't alone or something was wrong.
- 52:32I knew I just needed to get out of that room.
- 52:34I never said anything to my mom, but I just remember thinking
- 52:39That's not right. I don't want to be in there
- 52:40anymore, and I felt that quite a few times in my life.
- 52:44You know, you go to certain places.
- 52:47I did a lot of urbex, exploring when I was in Estonia so Urban
- 52:51exploring, where you go and explore abandoned places.
- 52:54Yeah. Yeah.
- 52:55And at night. Yeah.
- 52:57Yeah. All in the day, you know,
- 52:58wherever we explored tons of places that had these kind of
- 53:03dark Vibes about them and I remember one place we explored.
- 53:08Wasn't abandoned Bible school was very final place that we
- 53:12explored and there wasn't anything dark about it per se.
- 53:16But I remember, you know, the weather was terrible.
- 53:19It was in the middle of Autumn and it was really cold, and we
- 53:22broken into get in there and stuff and that we didn't smash
- 53:27anything. Like there was already said it
- 53:29was okay, we saw that there was like A window that you could get
- 53:35into that I'd already been smashed out and I think we found
- 53:38a chair and we're like someone's been here.
- 53:41Someone's already liking. We're not the first ones at
- 53:44school. When does practically open might
- 53:46as well just do. It wasn't something that the
- 53:48nineties of the mid-2000s circuit we debated just been
- 53:51left there to rot and we were just exploring it.
- 53:54I remember looking out of the windows in certain rooms and
- 53:59just feeling a very cock duct, a kind of felt like a feeling of
- 54:03death, it was like, being in a, in a cemetery or, you know, you
- 54:09get that weird feeling sometimes when you go to cemeteries, like,
- 54:12not like a bad feeling, but just kind of like I kind of empty
- 54:17nothingness feeling yeah. Had are kind of feeling.
- 54:21Yeah, that's how I felt in that place.
- 54:22And many of the places that we visited and they say, there's
- 54:25this famous not famous, there's like a saying that you shouldn't
- 54:30spend too much time in abandoned places because it's like, it's
- 54:35bad for you somehow supposedly, it can affect your energy in a
- 54:38profound way. Supposedly, this is what I've
- 54:41been told. Yeah, I don't know where I stand
- 54:44on that but like, The idea being that.
- 54:48In a way it's like that cursed place is because they've been
- 54:51abandoned on purpose and there's almost never a good reason for
- 54:56that but it but it's interesting how random places.
- 55:03Tend to end up because a lot of places just end up you know,
- 55:07destroyed battered, whatever you know.
- 55:09Like there's there's so many are abandoned hospitals that have
- 55:12like stuff. Oh yeah.
- 55:13You know, but then you get places like I've seen explorers
- 55:16in places like Japan where they'll be like an abandoned
- 55:20school and the Japanese have I think Chinese as well like all
- 55:24those kind of Asian countries, they have this thing of like if
- 55:27they leave, if they know they're going to abandon the place.
- 55:31They clean it and make it so But let's before they leave.
- 55:34Wow. So they won't get around this
- 55:36school and it's like a children's store.
- 55:39I guess for the kids between 5 to 10 or something and
- 55:42everything is spotless. All the chairs are neatly,
- 55:44stacked books, stacked neatly everything's that is completely
- 55:47abandoned hasn't been touched in probably 20 30 years but it's
- 55:50just sitting there. Mmm.
- 55:53You know, clean? Yeah, amazing.
- 55:57They must there's definitely something.
- 55:59Then within the culture that that understands this Right like
- 56:03understands what sort of energy maybe it is is kept behind or is
- 56:10residual if you want residual energy from those places and
- 56:14that's what I think. Like now everything around this
- 56:18topic is would be considered like, you know, pseudoscience or
- 56:22like, you know, imagination crazy and all that.
- 56:25But at some point like you would think something like let's say
- 56:28Wi-Fi was considered pseudoscience crazy of magic,
- 56:31right? Like as A magic is just not,
- 56:34it's something that science has not yet twitch, or has not yet
- 56:37detected or whatever. I feel like in the future we're
- 56:40going to be able to detect and to have, you know, measures and
- 56:44quantify forms of energy and then we'll be able to understand
- 56:49that there is something that, you know, either stay there or
- 56:53something that operates on that level, because you can't really
- 56:56explain how thousands and thousands of years different
- 57:01people, different cultures. All have an affiliation to this
- 57:05work to the Paranormal. Like, do you believe in magic?
- 57:12I believe it's it's something that we have not yet fully
- 57:18grasped really understood. So it's to me, I do believe that
- 57:24it's something that's real, but I'd rather not tap into it right
- 57:30now because it's not only scary, but it's something that I feel
- 57:36we have not yet fully controlled, you know?
- 57:38I mean, I don't like anything that Is outside of what we are
- 57:42capable of doing right now. Like the tools we have and all
- 57:45that, it's something a bit. Like, I'd rather, you know, get
- 57:50to know what's more, understand it more and all that.
- 57:52But yeah, in terms of whether it's real, it's definitely
- 57:55there's definitely something there.
- 57:56Of course, amazing stuff. Let's switch up the conversation
- 58:00and discuss the board games Cafe that you own, alright, in which
- 58:06you did mention earlier, it's called the Ravens Ravens nest.
- 58:11That right. Yes.
- 58:12And yeah, one of the most popular games and what can you
- 58:16tell us about this business and how it came to be?
- 58:20Well, I mean, the weight give to be is that I was actually at my
- 58:23old job. I'm a designer or director,
- 58:26whatever was in the field of agency and actually had
- 58:31something really bad happened to me.
- 58:32Because I went through this panic and anxiety attack while I
- 58:36was at work. It was the first time, something
- 58:38like that happened to me. Like, I've dealt with depression
- 58:40before and stuff, but when it came to this, I actually like my
- 58:44heart was like, pump neck. It was insane.
- 58:47My half of my face went numb and I was like, Going to die.
- 58:50Like I'm dying. I'm dying right now and called
- 58:55now my ex-wife and took me to the hospital.
- 58:58Got an EKG and you know, nothing, we know they were told
- 59:02me your hearts find, there's nothing going on.
- 59:04So I didn't believe them. And I went to three different
- 59:06hospitals in the same day. Like I wanted to get the test
- 59:09because I'm like I'm dying and the last one told me like you
- 59:12might want to consider that, this is more you know
- 59:14psychosomatic. Then it's actually something
- 59:17happening to you. Like you might be having an
- 59:18anxiety attack. The thing is, it's not okay
- 59:21with, you know, on a mental emotional level.
- 59:24I was like, hmmm interesting concept went to a therapist and
- 59:28all of that and follow and I realized that, you know, like I
- 59:32am not suited to this, you know, life of like going from morning
- 59:36staying till one day, I'm at my job, you know, barely seeing my
- 59:40son barely seeing having a life so on and so on.
- 59:43And then when it clicked, let me just do something that, I mean,
- 59:47the country where I am now is, I'm originally from Lebanon.
- 59:50But I can moved here 10 years, 12 years ago.
- 59:53I mean began right now. And if you know, it's a small
- 59:56cute island in the Arab Gulf and there's nothing like this in
- 1:00:01the, on the island here. So so I was discussing it with
- 1:00:05my wife at the time and you'll end.
- 1:00:07We both love board games and we like there's no way to go to
- 1:00:10play these things so, you know, might as well just make our own
- 1:00:13and we did it plus all our love for Fantasy movie.
- 1:00:19He is Lord of the Rings Game of Thrones everything know this.
- 1:00:23So, like let's say, yeah, it's like let's create a space for
- 1:00:26people who like the stuff to come and, you know, enjoy it
- 1:00:30too. It's like we're selling the
- 1:00:31experience more than just the sitting here like just in terms
- 1:00:35of decoration the music we play like I have a, which sword, you
- 1:00:40know, on the on the wall I have a Harry Potter stuff at like
- 1:00:44everything you can imagine. A fantasy lover would be like
- 1:00:47and like till now like now it's been three.
- 1:00:50Years. We don't talk about 2020 and
- 1:00:52when that happened, but it did not like when people like new
- 1:00:58people come in and they look around, like, it just makes me
- 1:01:01feel so proud. Like they like, this is the
- 1:01:03place we've been waiting for, so yeah, it's pretty awesome.
- 1:01:07We also host like, I don't know if you're familiar with Dungeons
- 1:01:09and Dragons. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:11So we have a dedicated space for exact.
- 1:01:13So like if people want to get introduced to the game, we get
- 1:01:17them. A specialized dungeon master and
- 1:01:19we sit And we said and all that. So yeah, it's pretty geeky nerdy
- 1:01:23place. What do you think both games are
- 1:01:25still popular? Like what's the main appeal?
- 1:01:27Them. I feel people want to escape his
- 1:01:32word, they want to, they want to invest their emotions and
- 1:01:35Imagination into something they want to live as a second life.
- 1:01:39You know what I mean? And I feel like that space
- 1:01:42creates something that is away from from social media, from
- 1:01:46your phone, from the internet, from all that.
- 1:01:48Like so many times I've seen like these large groups of
- 1:01:52people sitting for hours and hours and not a single person,
- 1:01:56grabs their phone, you know what I mean?
- 1:01:57Like, they all just So in the moment and we will actually
- 1:02:01debating, whether we should provide internet at the start or
- 1:02:05not like when you're opening the what just yeah.
- 1:02:08Like it was like it came up. We do, we do give it out, but it
- 1:02:13just feel like everyone is in the moment.
- 1:02:15Like, my favorite thing to see is when people are just like
- 1:02:18laughing and just having such a good time and I've been told how
- 1:02:22much they go like after a while and they want to come, you know,
- 1:02:25I can pay and everything and they go like, you know, we God,
- 1:02:28that we are in this country. Like we forgot that we're here,
- 1:02:31you know, like and that to me is the most gratifying feeling like
- 1:02:35I was able to give them this space where they are not
- 1:02:40thinking about how shitty everything is, and I'll how bad
- 1:02:44the world is and how, you know, just like completely disconnect
- 1:02:47from everything and just, you know, lucky like children like
- 1:02:51like, how we were when we were kids and we were all playing
- 1:02:53outside and just like, without a worry.
- 1:02:55That's the idea to create that space.
- 1:02:58You mentioned that you that you suffer from anxiety.
- 1:03:02So do I quite badly? Oh well, I'm just wondering how
- 1:03:07do you manage anxiety, level, how do you tackle it, or what
- 1:03:12advice could you give to people? Well, so, the first thing that
- 1:03:18that actually helped me manage it when it was really kicking
- 1:03:21in, like, really motivate me at the time through my therapist
- 1:03:25was when she told me that, All you need to do like basically in
- 1:03:30my in my situation. My anxiety came from the place
- 1:03:33that I didn't see any future for myself.
- 1:03:35Like where am I going with life? Like this is my job, I have a
- 1:03:39job. I have a, I have a son and
- 1:03:40everything but that's it. Like there is nothing that is
- 1:03:44pushing me to do something extra.
- 1:03:47And he told me that all you have to do is give yourself in your
- 1:03:53head, a project. And if you spent five minutes a
- 1:03:57day, Five minutes a day, dedicated to this project.
- 1:04:01It's going to help you set. That's crazy.
- 1:04:04Talk like this is way too much, but I applied it and the project
- 1:04:09was my coffee shop and it's actually from the moment of the
- 1:04:13anxiety, hit to the moment. I opened the coffee shop was a
- 1:04:16full year, one full year, okay? I didn't think I'm gonna make it
- 1:04:20through that year, like, I stayed at my job and everything,
- 1:04:23but just the fact that I was dedicating like in the middle of
- 1:04:27I work, I will be like, okay, I'm done with everything.
- 1:04:30I just opened like how about how much, how budget, you know,
- 1:04:33what's my budget for this place? Like how much am I going to
- 1:04:36spend money? Let me research, what would a
- 1:04:38fake chimney cost? And I would do that.
- 1:04:41I'll do that and that's it. And it would give me this push.
- 1:04:44Like, I couldn't believe it, like it just feels like I just
- 1:04:47left this space for 10 minutes and came back to it, to do my
- 1:04:50job and get paid and everything. And then another time, she told
- 1:04:54me this thing, which I to me, this kind of changed my life,
- 1:04:56where she told me, Like, you know, having any sort of mental
- 1:05:01issues is the same as having any physical issues.
- 1:05:05So let's say someone who has diabetes should, if you have
- 1:05:07diabetes, I would tell you, okay, take your insulin shots,
- 1:05:10right? But if you don't change your
- 1:05:13diet and your way of life, nothing's going to happen, you
- 1:05:16still cannot suffer through a lot of things.
- 1:05:18The same way she said, you need to change the diet of your mind.
- 1:05:23This is when it comes to encourage like, as long as you
- 1:05:27think, Differently than you were before, that's all it takes.
- 1:05:31Nothing needs to happen on the physical place.
- 1:05:33Just change that diet of your brain, eventually you'll get to
- 1:05:39it and, you know, speaking for myself, it worked, that's it.
- 1:05:43I can't say this works for everyone.
- 1:05:45I can't say that, you know, this is the recipe and all that but
- 1:05:48to me as long as I was able to shift their thinking and it
- 1:05:52pushed me into my own coffee shop, it was me into my own
- 1:05:55podcast pushed me into a million different directions.
- 1:05:57Actions. All I had to do was just give it
- 1:06:00space. Give it space that this thought
- 1:06:04might happen. One day, I just have to feed it
- 1:06:07and feel it and feel it. And that's it, like, share and
- 1:06:11great stuff for in you. Also suffer from sleep
- 1:06:16paralysis, which is something I suffer to combination.
- 1:06:20So I actually stopped the from sleep paralysis, and sleep
- 1:06:23apnea. And, yeah, for those who don't
- 1:06:27know, Quickly explain. So sleep paralysis is where You
- 1:06:33just before you wake up because obviously when you go to sleep,
- 1:06:38your body puts your, what your mind, your brain puts your body,
- 1:06:42in a state of paralysis that stops you from, you know, like
- 1:06:45slapping yourself in the face and waking yourself up in the
- 1:06:47night. That's, that's how you fell
- 1:06:48asleep. Yeah.
- 1:06:49But sometimes, this is period, just before you wake up where
- 1:06:54there's like a delay. So, even though your brain is
- 1:06:58awake, your body is not so and then that's basically Secondly,
- 1:07:02what sleep paralysis is a nutshell so you can't move.
- 1:07:05It's actually very terrifying. Now, I sleep apnea comes into
- 1:07:09play is that's when you stop breathing.
- 1:07:12So I had it even two nights ago. Wow, same thing as every time I
- 1:07:20am about to wake up. I know I'm awake.
- 1:07:22I'm, I guess I'm sort of dreaming.
- 1:07:25I'm sort of dreaming of myself in the room, trying to wake up
- 1:07:30and I'm trying to like Always the same thing.
- 1:07:32I'm trying to push myself. Yeah, wake up and try to push my
- 1:07:36energy. Push me up and then I start
- 1:07:38panicking a little bit. Yeah.
- 1:07:40Because I can't do it and then I stopped breathing a little bit
- 1:07:45and I've learned over time now to just relax.
- 1:07:49Go again, I get a bit stressed and then as that moment I feel I
- 1:07:54start to panic. Usually, that's when I wake up
- 1:07:58you and I can and I sort of it's not like that.
- 1:08:01Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's yeah.
- 1:08:04And I just sit there and I'm like, how I'm just glad I'm
- 1:08:06alive. I glad I didn't die.
- 1:08:08Thank the Lord. I don't know.
- 1:08:10Well, who is this? It's on sleep paralysis.
- 1:08:20How you deal with it and so much.
- 1:08:22I have suffered with sleep paralysis for seven years from
- 1:08:27the age of 12 to the age of 19 every week every week.
- 1:08:33If not once twice, yes, it was a constant torture most time I
- 1:08:39wouldn't want to go to sleep because of that that because I
- 1:08:43know what was going to ask was waiting for waiting for me
- 1:08:48actually. And I would probably say that
- 1:08:51going through personal appearances makes like the
- 1:08:55feared, I would get in a sleep paralysis is worse than anything
- 1:08:59I've ever experienced ever since.
- 1:09:01Then till now ever like the doc, I'm talking together, I'm
- 1:09:04talking fear, you know, the feel that that the grabs me that that
- 1:09:09paralyzes me and it became so common.
- 1:09:13That I knew it was going to happen before, it happens like
- 1:09:16like the moment I would in that moment where your Find wakes up.
- 1:09:20I would know that, oh, it's gonna happen.
- 1:09:23And then it happens. And I'm talking like full-on
- 1:09:26seeing Shadow creatures at my dog and all that.
- 1:09:29I know if you go through that, but but I've read about it a lot
- 1:09:33and I've no other people have experienced stuff like that,
- 1:09:35like, I've experienced things where it's like, so so I would
- 1:09:41feel the upper like everything above what I'm sleeping is chaos
- 1:09:47and is going through like tag. Hug and everything and
- 1:09:50everything below is my regular bedroom.
- 1:09:52So I would actually see my room. I would see it like if I have
- 1:09:56left a cup of water next to my, you know, I would see it.
- 1:09:59I would if there's a light coming through the window, I
- 1:10:01would see it. So so I'm definitely awake to an
- 1:10:03extent to what's happening around me.
- 1:10:05But then everything above the level of my eyes is completely,
- 1:10:09you know, into chaos and 99% of the time I would see this duck
- 1:10:14shadow creature at the door and When it's like, it's it became
- 1:10:21the sort of like a relationship, where if I see them, if I see
- 1:10:26it, they will turn around, and come towards me, and then sit on
- 1:10:32my chest. And I discovered that this is
- 1:10:35actually has a name in German folklore.
- 1:10:38It's called the Maga. I know if you've, if you've
- 1:10:41heard of it wear something sits on you and kind of like, you
- 1:10:47know, is hurting you or wants to do.
- 1:10:49Something and that is where the name of nightmare actually came
- 1:10:53from originally. It was like, I can't pronounce
- 1:10:57it in German but it's like Nick Maga which is like the night
- 1:11:01creatures that desires mother. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:05So so basically like it's an it's a description of something
- 1:11:09that people used to see or experience or whatever where
- 1:11:12they would see the shadowy figure and it would literally
- 1:11:16come and sit on their chest. People, people, people tend to
- 1:11:20call it sleep, paralysis demon and for a long time, I didn't I
- 1:11:25didn't believe in it because my experience is sleep, paralysis
- 1:11:28started. When I think I was 9 or 10, I
- 1:11:32was staying over at my father's house and I was sleep.
- 1:11:36I'm in both sleeping on because he didn't have a, you know,
- 1:11:39wasn't didn't have a lot of money back then.
- 1:11:42So I would sleep in the living room on a sofa and they sleep in
- 1:11:46the bed and stuff and don't worry it was It was perfectly
- 1:11:48comfortable - but it wasn't. It was like it was leather and I
- 1:11:53remember my face was like stuck to it like I couldn't okay and
- 1:11:58so a, but here's the thing, I thought I was awake because I
- 1:12:01didn't know what it was and I just couldn't lift my head up.
- 1:12:04Like I was trying to forcefully push my head up and I was
- 1:12:06terrified and then I realized it was in the dream but I still
- 1:12:10felt quite even when I was awake like quite heavy, you know,
- 1:12:15like, you know, there's a lot of weight to it. anyway, fast
- 1:12:19forward to again, Estonia This is the only time I've ever
- 1:12:25experienced this in my life and the only time.
- 1:12:28Yeah. That I've never experienced this
- 1:12:29since then. So, I'm sleeping on.
- 1:12:35Like a sofa is not comfortable at all, but you know, whatever.
- 1:12:40And I always sleep on my side, I've learned over the years.
- 1:12:47That one way to combat sleep paralysis is to sleep on your
- 1:12:50side, never sleep on your back back because citizen.
- 1:12:54Yeah, because apparently is worse.
- 1:12:57I don't know. And I've started doing that and
- 1:12:59it does help quite a lot. It's reduced it.
- 1:13:01Yeah, This particular place it was, I don't know.
- 1:13:05I was sometimes I'd sleep on my back and this one particular
- 1:13:09night. I remember this figure.
- 1:13:14Same thing sitting on my chest. She resemble it was a woman.
- 1:13:20She resembled the woman out of the ring if you've ever seen,
- 1:13:22you know. Okay.
- 1:13:23Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:13:24Hair and her face white. Yeah.
- 1:13:26Sounds scary. You know?
- 1:13:29And I it was the only time that I felt any like she sat on me
- 1:13:34like Australia me but not in a fun way like in a like I'm gonna
- 1:13:37kill you way and she was choking me.
- 1:13:40Yeah. And I remember Being like
- 1:13:42terrifies. I just I didn't know what to do
- 1:13:46and then I just suddenly woke up and is a middle of the night and
- 1:13:50I was like, what the fuck was that?
- 1:13:53Yeah. Well I live that for years.
- 1:13:56She look at what do you think that is just on mine fucking
- 1:14:02with us or is that something paranormal?
- 1:14:05Because there's so many theories on this and I don't know what to
- 1:14:07believe. Yeah, of course.
- 1:14:08I mean that's that's the thing because like Okay, if you want
- 1:14:11to say it's only like the mind or psychology or something like
- 1:14:15that, but I mean, there wasn't an actual.
- 1:14:19Like it's not like a pattern in a way like if I'm as if I was
- 1:14:21having a bad day, I would go through something like that.
- 1:14:25If I'm extremely tired, just like a random random and it's
- 1:14:29like everyone describes it the same way, you know what I mean?
- 1:14:32Like, everyone talks about seeing a shadowy figure feeling
- 1:14:36that fear sitting on your chest, all that like I would get to
- 1:14:40away with. At a point where I need to wake
- 1:14:43myself up when this thing is on me, and I remember, like, I
- 1:14:47always do this, you should do this work.
- 1:14:50I would just like, like take it all in accept, what's happening,
- 1:14:54right? And then just like kind of
- 1:14:55gathered all my power and all my strength and then like I would
- 1:14:59wake myself up. Like I would make a sound in
- 1:15:03real life. Like I would like scream in a
- 1:15:05way or like to kind of like wake myself up, but it would carry on
- 1:15:09for like a minute or two. Where I'm just sitting there and
- 1:15:12I'm taking it all in, like this. Like, it feels like I'm getting
- 1:15:15beaten, but I'm like, I'm just gonna, you know, gathered all my
- 1:15:19strength, all my thing. And then wake myself up.
- 1:15:22And I've read this thing like one time, one time I tried it
- 1:15:27and it worked because it happened recently.
- 1:15:28And again, this is you want to call paranormal, you want to
- 1:15:32call it imagination. Do you make whatever doesn't
- 1:15:34matter. But I've read that you can
- 1:15:37actually segue this into an out-of-body experience.
- 1:15:40Have you I heard of that or know what about of body extends.
- 1:15:44Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:15:46One time I had what I can only describe as like astral
- 1:15:50projection. I'm a for many years growing up.
- 1:15:53I had the falling dream where I went.
- 1:15:56I felt like I landed in my bed or something.
- 1:15:58Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Landing in your bed.
- 1:16:01Yeah. So out of body is literally like
- 1:16:04you, you jump out of your body. So I've had people, you know,
- 1:16:07talk about it and it but I had never experienced that
- 1:16:10personally. Myself and I read that if you go
- 1:16:15through sleep sleep, paralysis, try to move that into and out of
- 1:16:20black. Do certain steps in terms of
- 1:16:22like, you know, not calming yourself down because at like,
- 1:16:26you start knowing where you are you start knowing you're going
- 1:16:29through a steeper line. So it's no longer just fear of
- 1:16:31the unknown, it's kind of like I know I'm going through this.
- 1:16:34If it happens so many times, like eventually it became a
- 1:16:36habit to me. So this was only like maybe last
- 1:16:42Earlier this year or something. Where I had met about it.
- 1:16:44That if you feel the sleep paralysis coming in, move your
- 1:16:49body in a specific way. Move yourself in a specific way,
- 1:16:52breathe think about certain and then you know, kick you jump out
- 1:16:57of your body and it actually did happen.
- 1:16:59I don't know how to explain it or if I was dreaming or
- 1:17:02whatever. But what was crazy is that so
- 1:17:06I'm in bed and I'm feeling like my whole body's shaking and
- 1:17:10that, you know, This, the fear and the paralysis and
- 1:17:13everything's good again and I was like, okay okay, you know
- 1:17:16what just let me try it. Let me try to see if it works.
- 1:17:19Then you just do it and I kind of like pushed myself out and
- 1:17:23when I pushed myself out I immediately looked down and I
- 1:17:27saw I was sleeping like I saw the bed and it was night just
- 1:17:32like when and it was you know, in real life it was night and
- 1:17:36everything I was doing was so calm to so-called I didn't even
- 1:17:40feel anything in my body. You and I was like, holy shit
- 1:17:44like it's actually I think it's happening and then like I got
- 1:17:47scared from that, thoughts that it's actually happening that I
- 1:17:51decided like, I just threw myself into my body and I woke
- 1:17:55up in real life. And I woke up and I was like,
- 1:17:58and it was night and it was everything.
- 1:18:00And I was like, is that it like, is that it that, that just
- 1:18:03happened? I don't know, because I also saw
- 1:18:05like there were other things in the bedroom and I saw them like,
- 1:18:09it's like a top view of of my bedroom and I saw things work on
- 1:18:13the floor, you know, when you throw like your sock or whatever
- 1:18:15and everything and it was, there it all happened, like, within
- 1:18:20five ten seconds. And then, you know, it ended, it
- 1:18:24was like and dislike vocalist was doing.
- 1:18:25I was like, that's, you know, like, I don't know, you know, I
- 1:18:29don't know what just happened. It's like, I want to know more.
- 1:18:33I won't understand that. I want to ask people about it,
- 1:18:36but a lot of people have talked about this.
- 1:18:39They have a lot of the they've mentioned, Out-of-body they have
- 1:18:42mentioned, segueing from a sleep paralysis to that states.
- 1:18:47So, you know, I don't know, I don't know, it's feels like
- 1:18:50there's something there. You know what I mean?
- 1:18:51Like something that you can't really describe.
- 1:18:55You can't really convince anyone with such a personal experience.
- 1:18:59Something, so deep that, you know, whether it happened or
- 1:19:04not, you know what I mean? It's crazy but I just But
- 1:19:09whenever I try to do that as well, like one of the most
- 1:19:11terrifying aspects of sleep paralysis and I kind of detailed
- 1:19:15this before. But is this idea of just not
- 1:19:18being able to move like I try, I really try to move my body and
- 1:19:22just get it going. Yeah, I just nothing seems to
- 1:19:26work until that moment when you wake up and it's and you wonder
- 1:19:32sometimes, like, am I going to wake up?
- 1:19:34I'm gonna yeah, you know because it's not for sure.
- 1:19:39Scary stuff. And he also won the like just on
- 1:19:42from a biological point of view. Like, if there is, why would the
- 1:19:48body goes through something like this?
- 1:19:49You know what I mean? So even like, if we, if we not
- 1:19:53gonna talk Supernatural, paranormal that there's
- 1:19:55something out there outside of our body.
- 1:19:59Why would your body make you like?
- 1:20:01It has no benefit to you from on any survival level, you know
- 1:20:05what I mean? So it does beg the question as
- 1:20:08to To, why would you do that or do him in general?
- 1:20:12Like for example, there's so many people in the world
- 1:20:14experience it. I think it's just like a I think
- 1:20:20it's a scientific thing. I don't believe in the in the
- 1:20:25Paranormal aspect of it, I think that's just looking at mind
- 1:20:28messing with you. Not because I'm not open to the
- 1:20:31concept, just that like I've experienced both and they both
- 1:20:35felt the same. So I mean, I think in that
- 1:20:38instance, where I felt that presence, I think it was more My
- 1:20:44body, like jolting or something, I don't know.
- 1:20:47Like then again I don't know. It really didn't feel like a
- 1:20:50pretty felt like a weight on me. Yeah.
- 1:20:53And there was no one in the room so I don't know.
- 1:20:57That's when we'd like to rationalize these things.
- 1:20:59Yeah. Looking for a physical reason
- 1:21:02for the non-physical. That's the point.
- 1:21:05And I think Humanity has been trying to do that for as long as
- 1:21:09we have existed. Let's move it on.
- 1:21:14So you're an entrepreneur and you got, you got an app, you got
- 1:21:18a background in brand identity in advertising.
- 1:21:21So, that's one of a kind of explore this a little bit.
- 1:21:23So, what would you say? Are the key aspects of brand
- 1:21:25identity that everyone should know?
- 1:21:29Well, I mean, I think one of the most important things is
- 1:21:33understanding the world. We live in today.
- 1:21:35That it's not the same as before when it comes to how people see
- 1:21:40your brand. How they interact with your
- 1:21:42brand, how personal they feel to it like before it was more of.
- 1:21:48Well, this is the only thing that's available.
- 1:21:49So I'm going to go for it. This is now it's more like what
- 1:21:52speaks to me more than others? So, like to me, when it comes to
- 1:21:56any new brand that starts, I always go for understanding
- 1:22:03Like, You Know, Carl Jung's personality, the personality
- 1:22:08types, and know that the archetypes And I feel like this
- 1:22:14is the new way to kind of approach.
- 1:22:16Anything? Like even whether you're
- 1:22:18creating your own van, or you're working for someone else's
- 1:22:21brand, to kind of understand who you are.
- 1:22:24What is the personality that you give off?
- 1:22:27What is that, you want? Ask who you're talking to, who
- 1:22:32is your target, but not just in terms of like age, group, or
- 1:22:36culture. I'm talking who these people are
- 1:22:39because within the age group to have a Different type of people.
- 1:22:42You have people who are looking for this, something like that,
- 1:22:45they want to speak to you, they won't understand you.
- 1:22:47They want to know that they are being understood and so on.
- 1:22:51So to me when it comes to that like The Branding is definitely
- 1:22:55not, you know your logo or any visual, it's more like this over
- 1:23:02encompassing thing, you know like well what does it speak?
- 1:23:06What who does it speak to? How do you want to approach it?
- 1:23:10And that Makes things so much easier is if you like, for
- 1:23:13example, when I, when I created my coffee shop, okay.
- 1:23:17Vince Nest, just the name. When we came up with the name
- 1:23:21and we post it on Instagram first before the logo before
- 1:23:25everything, we immediately got a call from someone like asking.
- 1:23:28Hey, so do you have like Harry Potter stuff and all that?
- 1:23:32And I was like, like I didn't even post anything and someone
- 1:23:36already understood where I'm going with this.
- 1:23:38I mean, like, the brand is sold. Self before I even told them
- 1:23:43anything so that to me is the mark of a good brand or a good
- 1:23:48start basically. Okay.
- 1:23:50This kind of ties into my point. My next question is, you kind of
- 1:23:53already half on step but what would you say are the main
- 1:23:56differences between a positive brand identity and a negative
- 1:24:00brand identity? So I guess we'll focus more on
- 1:24:02the negative side of things for now.
- 1:24:04Yeah, yeah. Exactly.
- 1:24:05Like like, I think - Grant is something that is still stuck in
- 1:24:09the past like he still doesn't Understand, like I said, the
- 1:24:13world that we live in today, it doesn't necessarily mean how it
- 1:24:16looks, but it's mostly about how it communicates like, you know
- 1:24:19how, for example, for a while. Like we had, you had this
- 1:24:23Wendy's account on Twitter who are like, they would just like,
- 1:24:27tall everyone and me and all that, like that to me, is
- 1:24:30someone who understands to this work.
- 1:24:32You know, like it shows that it's not like oh, you know,
- 1:24:36we're not supposed to talk like this using that language or
- 1:24:38we're not supposed to trash our custom, not yours.
- 1:24:41Supposed to communicate whatever it is you're supposed whatever
- 1:24:44the word is in now. You know like be self-aware.
- 1:24:47Be understand that. You know no one sees Brands
- 1:24:54today. Like they used to before way
- 1:24:56like this all these perfect congregations that you know like
- 1:24:59know exactly what we want and we're gonna sell it to us.
- 1:25:02No no everyone now is like oh I got this is you know this brand
- 1:25:06is messing up here they doing this bad they're not
- 1:25:09communicating well and so on and so on. and so, just I think this
- 1:25:14a lot here, especially in the Arab world, like the Arab world
- 1:25:16is still a step behind when it comes to be self-aware.
- 1:25:21You know what I've been like, just kind of taking it taking it
- 1:25:24easy, except that things have changed understand the youth
- 1:25:30better, whether it was gen Z, whether it was the meals with
- 1:25:34all that stuff. So, yeah, I think it's a very
- 1:25:37bad thing. When a brand is still stuck in
- 1:25:40the old ways like the old ways communication.
- 1:25:42They is red that that's definitely a recipe for
- 1:25:45disaster. You know what's kind of leads me
- 1:25:46into my next question. What do you think the future
- 1:25:50holds for the brand identity space?
- 1:25:52Where do you think we're headed in the future with the
- 1:25:55Definitely more, like, what they say, user-generated content.
- 1:25:59Like, I think that is definitely the future that is gonna sell
- 1:26:03itself. Like it's the more Brands,
- 1:26:06accept their the customer base, the more that they allow them to
- 1:26:10express themselves within your grand, the more it's going to
- 1:26:14access to other people, that's how I see it.
- 1:26:16I think it's everything is headed in our direction to be
- 1:26:21much more personal. Like, I need like why, for
- 1:26:24example, Someone chooses PlayStation versus an Xbox.
- 1:26:27It's not because they have different games and all that,
- 1:26:29like, this is like a thing of the past.
- 1:26:31It's about like this. This thing you have presented to
- 1:26:33me, or not. This is it, it's all about
- 1:26:36representation, it's all about work.
- 1:26:37I see myself. Why do I go to this restaurant?
- 1:26:40Other than this, when they both sell me, you know, the same
- 1:26:42burger, for example, it's because I see myself in that
- 1:26:45space more, that's what gets me to tell my friends to go with me
- 1:26:49to that space, so on, and so on. So everyone is selling the Like
- 1:26:55even phones. For example, like everyone has
- 1:26:57basically the same stuff like when you look at, you know, I've
- 1:27:00not the say not Apple but between Samsung and Google.
- 1:27:05So the same phone, you know what I mean?
- 1:27:06At the end of the day but it's the brand that I'm going after.
- 1:27:09It's the brand that feels represents me.
- 1:27:12That's what so this is the future is definitely much more
- 1:27:15user into integrated work, understanding them.
- 1:27:22And yeah, that's how I see it. And move it onto advertising.
- 1:27:27What would you say? Are the key aspects of
- 1:27:28advertising? Their everyone should know.
- 1:27:33That's what I think. I think I think people need to.
- 1:27:39I think we kind of like as consumers that whenever I get
- 1:27:41any project advertising and I think about it from a consumer
- 1:27:46point of view first, and I feel like I'm tired from being told
- 1:27:53to buy something. You know what I mean?
- 1:27:55Like, it's so saturated all the time by this by this.
- 1:27:58This is better for you. This is better for you.
- 1:28:00So, it's advertising is of. I feel like it's a weird place
- 1:28:05right now because with the guise of social media and how brands
- 1:28:10have embraced it and you know stuck to it, you can feel that
- 1:28:15they'll not selling you the product anymore that they
- 1:28:18selling you the experience, you know, like like they just have
- 1:28:23like specifications may be at the bottom or something of a
- 1:28:25specific product or whatever. But it's mostly about how you
- 1:28:29all feeling. When when you, when you buy
- 1:28:32something how you are and that to me feels like a very
- 1:28:36different approach than it was before when it came to
- 1:28:39advertising before. It was like, you need this
- 1:28:42because we are the best or we are the only one doing it
- 1:28:45because you have a problem that we found the solution for in of
- 1:28:49that. Now, it's all about emotions,
- 1:28:51how do you feel when you when you buy our product?
- 1:28:55What does it give you in terms of social status in terms of
- 1:28:59emotions emotions? Terms of so, yeah, I think, I
- 1:29:03think it's much more emotional. It kind of works together will
- 1:29:07live the brand itself, like with how everything is going.
- 1:29:10More personal advertising is also driving that, and you kind
- 1:29:16of already answered this. But and I imagine most of us
- 1:29:19listening already kind of know where this is headed.
- 1:29:21But what where do you think the future of advertising is?
- 1:29:25Yeah, it's what I said. It's again, it's following the
- 1:29:30branch. And following what people feel
- 1:29:35when they get when they have your product.
- 1:29:38That emotion. That that's why I think of a
- 1:29:41koala was always, like a very, like, a trendsetter and was
- 1:29:45always at this, you know, sleeping when it comes to this,
- 1:29:50like we're talking 20 30, 40 years ago, like they were not
- 1:29:54selling you the water to drink, the whatever it has in it, they
- 1:29:58were selling you, the experience you get So when you do that, you
- 1:30:02know what I mean. So I think they were like they
- 1:30:04really saw the future and I feel like now everyone is headed in
- 1:30:08that direction and it will continue going there.
- 1:30:11It's it's emotions, it's emotions.
- 1:30:13It's what matters to everyone right now.
- 1:30:17And what advice could you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
- 1:30:26Well, I mean there's something that bad at all ways to lose me
- 1:30:30when it comes to seeing new people entrepreneurs or whatever
- 1:30:34is that seeing what the trend is and then jumping on the
- 1:30:37bandwagon. Like I feel like the worst thing
- 1:30:40you can do, you know what I mean?
- 1:30:42Like here and began. So only like two or three months
- 1:30:46ago, there's a new trend of, you know, the tennis pedal that
- 1:30:53small. It's like a, it's like a spa.
- 1:30:55It's of tennis but smaller and it has like a sort of limited S
- 1:31:01mix between tennis and squash that name.
- 1:31:06So no table tennis. No, no, no, no itself.
- 1:31:10It's a tennis court, but a bit smaller, okay.
- 1:31:13And, you know, people play them, it's for someone.
- 1:31:16It's for people who don't want to learn tennis because it's
- 1:31:19Advanced and don't want to play, you know, table tennis, it's
- 1:31:22somewhere in the middle but fragments in it.
- 1:31:25Between it's a second badminton, but a tennis so it's like the
- 1:31:28size of a badminton court, okay. And it's called the paddle
- 1:31:32tennis paddle and and like, because of the trend.
- 1:31:38It tell you that that's around, 19, chords opened in this
- 1:31:43country where people are going and playing and everything and
- 1:31:47Texas. The guys was like 2,000 percent
- 1:31:50or something in interest and and, and all that.
- 1:31:53And now three to four Slater you the ante, the completely empty.
- 1:31:58It's like a lot of these entrepreneurs, so that all now
- 1:32:02everyone is interested in best. Let me open the code.
- 1:32:05Let me open a space. Let me give this a done now.
- 1:32:08Literally, literally six months later, it's gone.
- 1:32:10It's gone like no one is going anymore.
- 1:32:13That to me is the issue with with following the trend and
- 1:32:17jumping on the bandwagon because you're supposed to think what is
- 1:32:21missing in the market. Like where is the gap?
- 1:32:24I'm gonna go there. You know what I mean?
- 1:32:25And even if it's a risk, even if it's a Financial Risk, it's a
- 1:32:29risk. Your reputation is whatever.
- 1:32:31It's a risk. That's, that's the idea of
- 1:32:35starting something. When I opened the, the Raven's
- 1:32:38Nest, for example, the the Board Game Cafe, there was no one in
- 1:32:41behind like this. No one in the country had this
- 1:32:44and because we did it first and because we did so.
- 1:32:48Well, other places try to copy and they try to do something
- 1:32:53like this, but they will always Compared to us, you know what I
- 1:32:56mean? Like we would hear people saying
- 1:32:59like oh so you're like that place.
- 1:33:01Are you like the Ravens? Nice.
- 1:33:02And then like eventually it stopped going and they steeple
- 1:33:06stops going and they don't have customers and all that because
- 1:33:09it didn't feel as authentic as the first one who does it, you
- 1:33:12know? Like like when you're passionate
- 1:33:14about something and you put everything in it and to me it
- 1:33:17was never about making money like it.
- 1:33:19I didn't open that place to make money.
- 1:33:21I opened that place because I needed to surround myself with
- 1:33:24people. People who are like me, who I
- 1:33:26love people, I love talking to them getting to know their
- 1:33:29stories teaching them the games, you know just seeing how happy
- 1:33:33they are. This to me is the reason why I
- 1:33:36made that guys like I still have my job.
- 1:33:37I still have other things going on.
- 1:33:39Wow, really? Yeah to me that place is pure.
- 1:33:44It exists for my mental state, you know what I mean?
- 1:33:47But how do you have the time to run a cafe and work full-time?
- 1:33:52Very difficult. But I do it.
- 1:33:56But would you did? Yeah.
- 1:33:57Share the time with your wife or something like that.
- 1:34:01X naught. So for like, I have a full-time
- 1:34:07job. Okay.
- 1:34:08And I, when I opened the place, I took six months off from the,
- 1:34:14from the job I was in, I was completely devoted to the to the
- 1:34:17coffee shop, to get it up and running to get it like, you
- 1:34:20know, automated in a way set the tone for the customers,
- 1:34:23understand where we are, what? Do we do and all that stuff?
- 1:34:26And once it turns itself, in terms of operation, I just I
- 1:34:31went back to my job, I have a full-time job and once like, for
- 1:34:36example, let's say I'm done with my job.
- 1:34:39I you know, get myself in the car, go to that place.
- 1:34:42Everything's okay. Sit with people talk to them,
- 1:34:45stay till like 11 or 12 and then go back home and all that it
- 1:34:49didn't even feel like a job to me, you know what I mean?
- 1:34:51It didn't feel like, oh, I don't want to go.
- 1:34:54I'm tired. And Because I enjoy it so much
- 1:34:57that sometimes, I like I spoke with my current employer, that I
- 1:35:01would actually take my laptop, go to the coffee shop and work
- 1:35:04from there, as class monitor things and all that.
- 1:35:11Yeah, yeah. So so it's just because it's
- 1:35:14such a passion for me. It doesn't feel like, like, I'm
- 1:35:17tired. And it takes most of my time and
- 1:35:19all that, but it doesn't matter to me.
- 1:35:21I like it. See you, yo, Your job is working
- 1:35:27in Digital Arts that correct like creating art.
- 1:35:31It's an not know. It's mostly, I'm a senior.
- 1:35:36So it's basically like social media and design, and branding,
- 1:35:40and logos, and everything. So, bit of everything.
- 1:35:43Okay. Well, took us through your
- 1:35:45process of working with clients to create digital or to help
- 1:35:49them with their brand identities.
- 1:35:53Yeah, so like I said before, so basically the first thing that
- 1:35:58comes to when it's a it's a new brand.
- 1:36:00For example, is making sure that the client knows what brand he
- 1:36:05has or what he wants. So they would come and say, for
- 1:36:09example, okay, so we want to open this kind of restaurant,
- 1:36:12okay? The restaurant, but I sit with
- 1:36:15them, understand from them through certain, you know,
- 1:36:18questions to certain, you know, exercises and stuff.
- 1:36:21Like that, like, who is their target?
- 1:36:24What do they see themselves as and so on?
- 1:36:27And then, once we both have that clear, and we both agree on it,
- 1:36:31that's when we move to the visual States.
- 1:36:33So creating mood boards, understanding the style of it,
- 1:36:38the colors, who are we targeting?
- 1:36:40And so on with this stuff moving on from that we go to the
- 1:36:44creation of the logo itself. Several options, have a good
- 1:36:48stuff. We create that again with the
- 1:36:51logo. The entire brand.
- 1:36:52So I make sure I make the client understand that your logo is not
- 1:36:56the brand, your logo is a very small communication device, but
- 1:37:00it's nothing compared to the Blanche.
- 1:37:02It's to the ground. So even when I present the logo,
- 1:37:05I have this technique work. I don't show that, like, okay,
- 1:37:08this girl go, I show them like, this is logo, how it's like,
- 1:37:11let's say, for example, it's a restaurant, right?
- 1:37:15So I tell them, this is how you logo to look like, on a takeaway
- 1:37:17cup. You know what I mean?
- 1:37:18It's like, it's there, you know, Because most clients don't,
- 1:37:23don't have the imagination. See they just but it's the logo
- 1:37:27I mean okay yeah it's nice to know.
- 1:37:29Like I completely go out as if this plant already exists and
- 1:37:33it's operating like once they see that even if the logo is
- 1:37:37crap which I don't make but you know like even if it is they
- 1:37:40just like completely understand it.
- 1:37:42So I present them like even on the detail stuff like the first
- 1:37:46image would show again, let's say it's a restaurant, it would
- 1:37:49show the It's a, the chef, in the, in the kitchen cooking but
- 1:37:54he has the logo on his uniform. You know what I mean?
- 1:37:57Like, that's how they see it. So they see that it's actually
- 1:38:00happening. Okay, I'm so, you know, I gotta
- 1:38:03ask man, have you had any like bad experiences where?
- 1:38:09I don't know, maybe you were pitching stuff to someone and
- 1:38:12they just didn't get it or like, I don't know.
- 1:38:14They would maybe this is a better one, so they asked you to
- 1:38:18create something for them, which is just like ridiculous.
- 1:38:21Yes, or, you know, is going to be shit or something like that.
- 1:38:24Like generally expect stories, you can tell us about clients.
- 1:38:27You've worked with got a salmon that back.
- 1:38:30I've been doing this for like I'm 13 years now so you can
- 1:38:32imagine the amount of different clients and different.
- 1:38:36Yeah, I've had I've had stuff but my issue is not a destroyed.
- 1:38:40Like when they because when at the start they tell me what they
- 1:38:43want and I tell them. Okay.
- 1:38:45So I'm going to give you an option of what you want.
- 1:38:47Then I'm going to give you like two or three options of what I
- 1:38:49want, what I think is better and so on.
- 1:38:51Problem comes towards the end because it's like, after the
- 1:38:54creative process and after you, you're done being so, you know,
- 1:38:58happy and I was creating and everything is one, that's when
- 1:39:01the comment starts. But yeah, we wanted to add the
- 1:39:04entire identity is based on it, being organs, for example, but
- 1:39:08still like you'll get what does it different?
- 1:39:10You know, it's not so much and it just kills everything.
- 1:39:12So towards the end, let's say were several clients.
- 1:39:15What I told them, let you know, like I'll give you this but I'm
- 1:39:19not going to even put it on my portfolio.
- 1:39:20Like I'm gonna be very This with you, this is not something that
- 1:39:23I'm proud of is not that. That Honesty covariance getting
- 1:39:27paid or anything so they can't go back.
- 1:39:29But yeah it's like it's you know, I've definitely had work
- 1:39:33done like where I wasn't proud of it at all.
- 1:39:36It's just reaches a stage where you know like the file is named
- 1:39:40you know, final final one to finally like you know how many
- 1:39:43times we went through that. Yeah.
- 1:39:46It's a disaster. It's sometimes I go through
- 1:39:49really bad. That's why I kind of create Like
- 1:39:52my stuff like on my Instagram page or stuff like it's a place
- 1:39:56for me where I can be unbelievably creative and just
- 1:39:59the way I want things, you know. And it took me a long time to
- 1:40:03disconnect and I think a lot of people in my field don't have
- 1:40:07that I don't have it yet because I had to learn it you know for a
- 1:40:12long time it took me a long time to learn what I need to
- 1:40:14disconnect personally from what I'm giving you know, because my
- 1:40:19field takes so much personal work.
- 1:40:22Everything is about me and how I am putting, you know, part of me
- 1:40:26into every design. I create every idea, I came up
- 1:40:29with, it literally comes from me and I needed to accept that
- 1:40:34that's not going to go through that client.
- 1:40:36Has a different Vision, so on and so on.
- 1:40:39And just accept the idea that, you know, I do this for money.
- 1:40:43I do this as a job as a career, but it does not, you know,
- 1:40:47reflect who I am. So I need to express myself in
- 1:40:51different Areas. But I do need to express myself
- 1:40:54that's key as well. So it's not just about
- 1:40:56understanding. I need to disconnect know I
- 1:40:58because there's a part of me that needs to express, so I
- 1:41:01might as well just do it in places where no one can tell me
- 1:41:04that change the this colored purple to Blue, for example, or
- 1:41:08whatever. You know, what I mean?
- 1:41:09Very sensible. That's very sensible.
- 1:41:14What's the biggest life lesson that you've learned so far?
- 1:41:20That's a heavy one. I think this game recently very
- 1:41:27reasons, I think that One of the biggest things I've learned is
- 1:41:34that I can't control everything in my life.
- 1:41:39It's that, that idea to let go and accept that there are things
- 1:41:47that I have no power of over, is definitely one of the hardest.
- 1:41:53And one of the recent most recent things that that I've
- 1:41:57learned. And I've learned that Very
- 1:42:01difficult, you know, it's went through something very
- 1:42:04difficult. But, you know, as as they say
- 1:42:06that's what the universe does. Like, it keeps pushing you in
- 1:42:09the same because I there's this pattern in my life that keeps
- 1:42:12happening and keeps happening and all that.
- 1:42:14And it had to be that it had to be this to let go of this
- 1:42:20control that I have, because I don't have control over other
- 1:42:24people of things that happen. Just, it's not so much
- 1:42:28acceptance because I feel like that's small of toxic
- 1:42:31positivity. Like everything happens, you
- 1:42:33know, it's happy. We're happy.
- 1:42:34No, no. I'm okay with being upset.
- 1:42:36I'm okay with being angry being sad, reacting to different
- 1:42:41things. No problem.
- 1:42:43I embrace all the emotions, but to kind of let go.
- 1:42:47Yeah, that to me is my biggest life lesson.
- 1:42:52Thanks for sharing. Thank you.
- 1:42:54As we draw things to a close for today.
- 1:42:56Do you have any upcoming projects or final thoughts that
- 1:42:58you had to sleep with our listeners?
- 1:43:01I do have an thought that that makes people Go Hmmm.
- 1:43:06As I said at the start and it is related to, you know, the topics
- 1:43:11I discuss on my podcast and all that stuff.
- 1:43:12So I would yeah whatever. Yeah, but you stay.
- 1:43:17So you know how? Because I discuss ideas on my
- 1:43:22podcast about ancient civilizations, ancient
- 1:43:25mythologies, have we encountered anything of Alien or
- 1:43:33extraterrestrial, something not from this reality, something not
- 1:43:36from this Earth and so on, and so on.
- 1:43:38And this is this question that I haven't seen anyone asked, to be
- 1:43:43honest. So I don't have an answer for
- 1:43:45it, but I will leave that with you.
- 1:43:48So I believe based on different thoughts and ideas.
- 1:43:51I believe that at some point Humanity was kind of basically
- 1:43:59like, It to an extent on a physical and biological level.
- 1:44:04Okay? So if you read some of the
- 1:44:07ancient mythology is even the the Old Testament in the Bible,
- 1:44:11they talk about something within man that has been altered.
- 1:44:15There is a sort of like, on a very DNA level.
- 1:44:20We have been manipulated basically or bread if you want
- 1:44:23like like as if humans have been bred to a work to to a certain
- 1:44:28thing in the Bible they said To create it to work in the garden
- 1:44:33and all that stuff and other mythologies they say like for
- 1:44:36example, in the Sumerian mythology of the ancient gods of
- 1:44:40state known as the Anunnaki, they say that humans were
- 1:44:44created to work because the gods themselves were too tired to
- 1:44:48work. They were working for thousands
- 1:44:49of years. They got too tired, they
- 1:44:50rebelled against their own, you know, leaders and then you know
- 1:44:56someone said let's create man and you know take actually let's
- 1:44:59take I was on Earth as human or whatever closest is to, which is
- 1:45:03the homo sapiens manipulate them, get them to work.
- 1:45:08Of course, people say this science fiction fantasy,
- 1:45:10whatever, whatever mythology. But I have a question when it
- 1:45:12comes to mankind because Mankind, we, as a species, we
- 1:45:16have something which is extremely unique to us on a
- 1:45:19physical level and that is related to our hair.
- 1:45:24O'Hare, the head of about her head.
- 1:45:27Yes, we are the only species on the planet that has ever existed
- 1:45:34where our hair goes and cannot stop growing unless we cut it,
- 1:45:40okay? So it gives going and going
- 1:45:43without control until it. Everything else in our body.
- 1:45:46Like our eyebrows, the hair on her body different areas.
- 1:45:50It goes to a certain length and then it stops other than the
- 1:45:53head. egg on her body and four men will be able to Now, there
- 1:45:58is no evolutionary reason for something like this to happen,
- 1:46:03especially with the fact that Evolution react to the
- 1:46:07environment around you. So, for example, we need a tool
- 1:46:11that is outside of our body to cut our hair.
- 1:46:16Okay, so that means that on a biological level, there was no
- 1:46:20reason for us to evolve into growing hair in this way.
- 1:46:25Unless something has manipulated us the only other species on the
- 1:46:30planet. That does that is the
- 1:46:32genetically manipulated sheep. A sheep will die.
- 1:46:37If you don't cut their hair off of the wool, but they will not
- 1:46:41like this. We have made them into this.
- 1:46:45So my question or my wondering about the hair that is on our
- 1:46:49head and our face is, why is it that still goes uncontrollably?
- 1:46:54If we were not at some point genetically, manipulated into
- 1:46:58that I am, what a funnel thought.
- 1:47:05Wow, thank you for sharing that. I think that really sets the
- 1:47:08tone for for your podcast and why people should listen.
