- 0:01The inspiring goddess entered Immortal's breast, made there
- 0:07her study of divining thought and sanctuary of prophetic
- 0:11speech, and sat upon the tripod seat of mind.
- 0:16All was made wide above, all lit below in darkness.
- 0:22Course she dugout wells of light and the undiscovered depths
- 0:27imposed a form, lent A vibrant cry to the unuttered vasts, and
- 0:33through great shoreless, voiceless, starless breaths bore
- 0:38earthward fragments of revealing thought.
- 0:42Hewn from the silence of the ineffable, A voice in the heart
- 0:47uttered the unspoken name. A dream of seeking thought,
- 0:51wandering through space, entered the invisible and forbidden
- 0:55house. The treasure was found of a
- 0:59supernal day in the deep subconscient glowed her jewel
- 1:04lamp lifted. It showed the riches of The Cave
- 1:09whereby the miser traffickers of sense unused guarded beneath
- 1:15Knight's dragon paws in folds of velvet, darkness draped they
- 1:20sleep whose priceless value could have saved the world.
- 1:26A darkness carrying mourning in its breast looked for the
- 1:31eternal wide returning gleam, weighing the advent of a larger
- 1:35ray and rescue of the lost herds of the sun.
- 1:42In a splendid extravagance of the waste of God, dropped
- 1:46carelessly in creation's spendthrift work, Left in the
- 1:50Chantiers of the bottomless world, and stolen by the robbers
- 1:56of the deep, the golden shekels of the eternal lie hoarded from
- 2:01touch and view and thoughts, desire locked in blind anters of
- 2:08the ignorant flood, lest men should find them and be even as
- 2:14gods. A vision lightened on the
- 2:18viewless heights. A wisdom illumined from the
- 2:22voiceless depths. A deeper interpretation.
- 2:26Greatent truth. A grand reversal of the night
- 2:30and day. All the world's values changed,
- 2:34heightening life's aim. A wiser word, a larger thought
- 2:40came in than what the slow labor of human mind can bring.
- 2:45A secret sense awoke that could perceive A presence and a
- 2:50greatness everywhere the universe was not now this
- 2:55senseless whirl borne round, inert on an immense machine.
- 3:00It castaway its grandiose lifeless front, a mechanism no
- 3:04more or work of chance, but a living movement of the body of
- 3:10God, a spirit hid in forces and informs was the spectator of the
- 3:15mobile scene. The beauty and the ceaseless
- 3:18miracle let in a glow of the unmanifest.
- 3:23The formless everlasting moved in it, seeking its own perfect
- 3:27form. In souls and things.
- 3:30Life kept no more a dull and meaningless shape in the
- 3:34struggle and upheaval of the world.
- 3:36He saw the labour of a Godhead's birth, a secret knowledge masked
- 3:41as ignorance, fate covered with an unseen necessity, the game of
- 3:47chance of an omnipotent will, a glory and a rapture and a charm.
- 3:53The all blissful sat unknown within the heart.
- 3:57Earth's pains were the ransom of its prisoned delight.
- 4:01A glad communion tinged the passing hours.
- 4:05The days were travellers on a destined Rd.
- 4:09The Knight's companions of his musing spirit.
- 4:13A heavenly impetus quickened all his breast.
- 4:17The trudge of time changed to a splendid March.
- 4:21The divine dwarf towered to unconquered worlds.
- 4:25Earth grew too narrow for his victory, once only registering
- 4:31the heavy tread of a blind power on human littleness.
- 4:35Life now became a sure approach to God, existence, a divine
- 4:42experiment, and cosmos, the soul's opportunity.
- 4:47The world was a conception and a birth of spirit and matter into
- 4:51living forms, and nature bore the immortal in her womb that
- 4:57she might climb through him to eternal life.
- 5:02His being lay down in bright, immobile peace, and bathed in
- 5:07wells of pure spiritual light. It wandered in wide fields of
- 5:11wisdom, self lit by the rays of an everlasting sun.
- 5:19Even his body's subtle self within could raise the earthly
- 5:22parts towards higher things, and feel on it the breath of
- 5:26heavenlier air. Already it journeyed towards
- 5:30divinity, up buoyed upon winged winds of rapid joy, upheld to a
- 5:37light it could not always hold. It left mind's distance from the
- 5:42truth supreme and lost life's incapacity for bliss.
- 5:48All now suppressed in US, began to emerge.
- 5:55Thus came his soul's release from ignorance, his mind and
- 5:59body's first spiritual change, a wide God.
- 6:03Knowledge poured down from above, a new world.
- 6:07Knowledge broadened from within. His daily thoughts looked up to
- 6:11the true and one. His commonest doings welled from
- 6:15an inner light awakened to the lines that nature hides.
- 6:21Attuned to her movements that exceed our Ken, he grew one with
- 6:26a covert universe. His grasp surprised her
- 6:31mightiest energy springs. He spoke with the unknown
- 6:35guardians of the worlds forms he described.
- 6:39Our mortal eyes see not his wide eyes bodied viewless entities.
- 6:45He saw the cosmic forces at their work and felt the occult
- 6:49impulse behind man's will. Time's secrets were to him an
- 6:55OFT read book. The Records of the Future and
- 6:58the Past outlined their excerpts on the etheric page.
- 7:04One and harmonious by the maker's skill, the human in him
- 7:08paced with the divine. His axe betrayed not the
- 7:12interior flame thus forged the greatness of his front to earth.
- 7:20A genius heightened in his body's cells that knew the
- 7:23meaning of his fate, hedged works akin to the March of
- 7:27unaccomplished powers beyond life's arc and Spirit's
- 7:32immensities, a part he lived in his mind's solitude, a demigod
- 7:39shaping the lives of men. One soul's ambition lifted up
- 7:44the race. A power worked, but none knew
- 7:48whence it came. The universal strengths were
- 7:51linked to his filling earth's smallness with their boundless
- 7:56breaths. He drew the energies that
- 7:59transmute and age immeasurable by the common look.
- 8:04He made great dreams, a mould for coming things, and cast his
- 8:09deeds like bronze to front the years.
- 8:12His walk through time outstripped the human stride,
- 8:16lonely his days and splendid like the sun's.
