- 0:00Speaker 1: Kyle, what do we need to know today? All right.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I think when the guy running one of the biggest
- 0:06Speaker 2: AI companies is saying, maybe we're moving a little too fast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I kind of feel like we should probably listen to
- 0:12Speaker 2: that guy. So Anthropic CEO Dario Amadei says AI development
- 0:17Speaker 2: needs to slow down because the technology is advancing way
- 0:21Speaker 2: faster than our ability to control the risks. including cyber attacks, bioterrorism,
- 0:26Speaker 2: a major job at economic disruption. He's even warning that
- 0:30Speaker 2: sufficiently powerful AI could potentially cause hundreds of billions of
- 0:35Speaker 2: dollars in internet damage in a matter of months. So
- 0:38Speaker 2: maybe let's just take his advice and just slow it down.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Didn't he quit too?
- 0:45Speaker 2: It's going to take companies to just take that initiative
- 0:48Speaker 2: on their own. We can't wait for government regulation. And yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 2: he was like, I'm out of here. If you have
- 0:53Speaker 2: an iPhone, get ready for that little red update notification
- 0:57Speaker 2: because iOS 27 drops today with some tricks that you
- 1:00Speaker 2: may actually use. Siri is getting a major AI upgrade.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Your phone is going to help split a restaurant bill.
- 1:07Speaker 2: You can just scan the receipt and it'll do it
- 1:09Speaker 2: for you. Oh, that's fun. Safari will alert you when
- 1:12Speaker 2: web pages change. And this is an Android feature. It's
- 1:16Speaker 2: been for a while, but apparently you guys haven't had this. Finally,
- 1:18Speaker 2: you will get separate volume controls for alarms and ringtones.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So enjoy that. You know what else? Remember how you
- 1:24Speaker 2: were talking about that new phone, the Duo?
- 1:26Speaker 1: The Duo?
- 1:27Speaker 2: It's a foldable phone that iPhone dropped.
- 1:28Speaker 1: The Dua Lipa? Yeah, it's like bad for left-handed people.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Oh, really? Because it's like everything's right.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't think that makes sense. I wonder if you
- 1:37Speaker 1: could flip it. I actually was just looking online because
- 1:39Speaker 1: I think I want to get the Duo. Really? Yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I just want to see what's up. And if I
- 1:43Speaker 1: don't like it, I can just go get it. I
- 1:44Speaker 1: hope you're not left-handed. No, I'm not.
- 1:46Speaker 2: They do also say it's harder if you have smaller hands.
- 1:48Speaker 2: because it is pretty thick. So they say it's, yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 2: it's just hard to do things one-handed. Like if you
- 1:54Speaker 2: text one-handed or if you're using your phone one-handed and
- 1:57Speaker 2: you have a smaller hand, it will be a little
- 1:58Speaker 2: bit more difficult for you to navigate. Just a heads up.
- 2:02Speaker 2: ASU lost to No. 10 Texas A & M, 48-20,
- 2:06Speaker 2: which sounds really bad, but if you were watching the game,
- 2:08Speaker 2: it was really close until the fourth quarter. ASU is
- 2:11Speaker 2: now 1-1. They had to London this weekend to play
- 2:13Speaker 2: Kansas at Wembley Stadium, which should be pretty cool. Meanwhile,
- 2:17Speaker 2: the other Texas team, Texas Longhorns, had an unbelievable comeback
- 2:21Speaker 2: to beat No. 1 Ohio State. It was so insane
- 2:24Speaker 2: that their coach... who, by the way, is like required
- 2:27Speaker 2: to do interviews like before and after the game and
- 2:29Speaker 2: stuff like that, was approached to get an interview. And
- 2:32Speaker 2: this moment is now going viral because I think he
- 2:35Speaker 2: was just so excited. He didn't want to participate. So
- 2:38Speaker 2: you can hear him like basically saying Texas fight. That's
- 2:42Speaker 2: called Texas fight. Hook him. And that was the whole interview.
- 2:52Speaker 1: They barely escaped that game. And Holly Rowe was not happy.
- 2:59Speaker 1: She rolls her eyes at him, walks away. Actually, she
- 3:03Speaker 1: stomped away. I was like, it was loud, though, in there.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It was probably hard to hear her anyway.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Holly Rowe broke.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Me one time a mean DM.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 3:14Speaker 1: She is very, very spicy, but she is very loved
- 3:17Speaker 1: in the WNBA community.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Meanwhile, our Cardinals played. They won. They looked so good.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We were like, wow, we're going to have a great
- 3:27Speaker 2: team this year. They beat the Chargers 26-14. And our rookie,
- 3:31Speaker 2: Jeremiah Love, scored on just his third NFL carry, which
- 3:34Speaker 2: is awesome. And we mentioned this earlier, but Mike LaFleur
- 3:38Speaker 2: became the first Cardinals coach to win his debut since 1973,
- 3:43Speaker 2: which is pretty awesome. Meanwhile, our Diamondbacks, it's not a
- 3:45Speaker 2: great time to be joking. We're not doing great. We
- 3:48Speaker 2: lost again, which means, and then like we're behind the
- 3:51Speaker 2: Padres for this run. We're trying to get into the
- 3:54Speaker 2: playoffs and we're like neck and neck with the Padres,
- 3:56Speaker 2: but the Padres keep winning. So now we're two and
- 3:58Speaker 2: a half games behind them, which isn't the end of
- 4:00Speaker 2: the world, but there's only like 12 games left. So
- 4:03Speaker 2: every loss really hurts. So we really just need to
- 4:05Speaker 2: cheer on our D-backs and that's what you need to know.
