- 0:06Speaker 1: Today could mark quite a big deal in terms of
- 0:09Speaker 1: crypto and all of this is going to be leaning
- 0:11Speaker 1: in on China. We'll break it all down for you
- 0:13Speaker 1: guys today. You don't want to miss it. My name
- 0:14Speaker 1: is Paul Bahre. Welcome back into tech Path. I want

- 0:46Speaker 2: help the channel.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I want to get into a couple of topics today
- 0:49Speaker 1: and some of the things that are happening just in general.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We have the CPI data coming out tomorrow. Remember that
- 0:53Speaker 1: the SUI event is happening next week. The Avalanche event
- 0:58Speaker 1: is happening next next week, have the Permissionless event going
- 1:01Speaker 1: on right now.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Also you've got.
- 1:04Speaker 1: The John Deaton debate, and of course the Robin Hood
- 1:07Speaker 1: event also happening in Miami. So there is a lot
- 1:10Speaker 1: of things happening in crypto in general here in the US.
- 1:13Speaker 1: But guess what China is on the verge of doing
- 1:16Speaker 1: something I think that could shift the tides of where
- 1:19Speaker 1: crypto begins to go. I want to go over to
- 1:22Speaker 1: a couple of topics here just to kind of frame it,
- 1:24Speaker 1: because remember the global impact of the economy, especially around
- 1:30Speaker 1: some of the G seven I think, is still led
- 1:33Speaker 1: by the Federal Reserve, and of course part of that
- 1:35Speaker 1: is going to be the rate cutting scenario for the
- 1:38Speaker 1: Federal Reserve. So the Fed minutes are going to be
- 1:40Speaker 1: coming in here shortly, and of course we're going to
- 1:42Speaker 1: get I think a coordinated effort into both November and
- 1:46Speaker 1: December in terms of rate cuts, most likely at twenty
- 1:49Speaker 1: five basis points both for November December that potentially could
- 1:53Speaker 1: get us at a full basis one point rate cut
- 1:57Speaker 1: in this year. So all of that course could be
- 2:00Speaker 1: very positive for risk assets and of course the markets
- 2:04Speaker 1: in general. And just don't forget the jobs data has
- 2:06Speaker 1: been continuing to climb. We had a big over jobs
- 2:10Speaker 1: report that just came in, overforming jobs report. However, I
- 2:13Speaker 1: do think there will be a downward correction on that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: They've been doing downward corrections for quite some time. I
- 2:20Speaker 1: still think some of that is very political, but that's
- 2:23Speaker 1: for another video. I want to go over to a
- 2:25Speaker 1: couple of things happening right now. This was the jobs
- 2:28Speaker 1: data that I was referencing. September jobs reports showed the
- 2:31Speaker 1: economy created seven or eighty five thousand new jobs. So
- 2:34Speaker 1: if this is the case, if we are seeing a
- 2:36Speaker 1: little bit of lightening the load on the economy prior
- 2:40Speaker 1: to the election, along with everything else that we have going,
- 2:44Speaker 1: this could be the scenario that is brewing for the
- 2:47Speaker 1: perfect storm as we start to see China stepping into
- 2:51Speaker 1: the game. China, the Shanghank composite, of course, fall fell
- 2:55Speaker 1: about six percent. This, of course as the stimulus space
- 2:58Speaker 1: rally comes to an end. This is one of the
- 2:59Speaker 1: things that they're concerned with. And the issue is is
- 3:02Speaker 1: the stimulus that has come into the market. We saw
- 3:04Speaker 1: that big boom last week on the Chinese stock market
- 3:08Speaker 1: and a lot of activity. But I want to go
- 3:10Speaker 1: a little bit further. I want to play a clip
- 3:12Speaker 1: for you. This will explain it a little bit better.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 3:14Speaker 3: You know, we talked yesterday about how everyone expected the
- 3:17Speaker 3: National Development and Reform Commission to announce some massive stimudus
- 3:21Speaker 3: package even though it's not their mandate, and there's big
- 3:24Speaker 3: disappointment in the market that this commission that doesn't denounce
- 3:27Speaker 3: stimulus had an announce stimulus. Well, the Finance Ministry now
- 3:30Speaker 3: has a briefing on Saturday, and they are the group
- 3:33Speaker 3: that is responsible for stimulus, so maybe we might get
- 3:35Speaker 3: something there. I think that overall, the more bullish backdrop
- 3:38Speaker 3: for China and Hong Kong absolutely remains compared to where
- 3:41Speaker 3: we were a month ago. Bulls have the stronger hands.
- 3:44Speaker 3: People who have heard the message from the Chinese government
- 3:46Speaker 3: that they're going to fix us. They will fix us.
- 3:48Speaker 3: They have many tools to fix this. They're the ones
- 3:50Speaker 3: who are in the stronger hands in the driving seat here.
- 3:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So that what that means quickly is if China does
- 3:56Speaker 1: recoup their stimulus idea and how they're going to this out,
- 4:00Speaker 1: the Ministry of Finance is going to hold the pressure
- 4:03Speaker 1: on Saturday. This is October twelfth, so this this weekend,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and they're going to be talking about a lot of
- 4:06Speaker 1: new policies, so consumption rather than investment. They're also looking
- 4:10Speaker 1: for guidance on the fiscal deficit up to a four
- 4:12Speaker 1: percent GDP. They're looking at longer economic management, dividing, fighting inflation.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They also want to go into the debt burden that
- 4:20Speaker 1: they're dealing with. So there's a lot of positive things
- 4:24Speaker 1: that could be lining up for China. And not only that,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's very possible we could see an unbanning of bitcoin
- 4:32Speaker 1: by end of year that I think would be the
- 4:35Speaker 1: maybe the holy grail in terms of crypto in general,
- 4:38Speaker 1: when you look at the Chinese impact on crypto in general.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I want to go to a couple more clips.
- 4:42Speaker 1: This is Tom Lee talking about the framework of what
- 4:45Speaker 1: this might mean not only the US economy, but the
- 4:47Speaker 1: global economy.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Tom, let me start with you. It was in April
- 4:51Speaker 4: on this program that you said you thought the S
- 4:53Speaker 4: and P five hundred could close at fifty seven hundred,
- 4:56Speaker 4: maybe even higher. Well looky here, look where it is today.
- 5:00Speaker 4: So the maybe higher part is still a part of
- 5:03Speaker 4: your formula.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Yes, not only has the economy survived extremely high interest rates,
- 5:09Speaker 5: but the FED is beginning to cut rates, and an
- 5:13Speaker 5: economy that has sort of been languishing has been China,
- 5:16Speaker 5: and now we have some stimulus and what looks like
- 5:18Speaker 5: some bazooka policies that is supporting that region, and we
- 5:22Speaker 5: have a lot of cash on the sideline. So I
- 5:24Speaker 5: think that this is a formula for stocks to do
- 5:28Speaker 5: pretty well the next three to twelve months. And that's
- 5:31Speaker 5: why we we think that we would be well beyond
- 5:35Speaker 5: fifty seven hundred before your end.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Are you looking at the S and P five hundred
- 5:38Speaker 1: right here on my chart, it shows the all time
- 5:40Speaker 1: high at fifty seven eighty one as we're filming this
- 5:43Speaker 1: right now. And what Lee is talking about is the
- 5:46Speaker 1: amount of capital that we've talked about many times here
- 5:49Speaker 1: on the show, and that is this wall of liquidity
- 5:52Speaker 1: that potentially could be coming once that the timing is right.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Key things have to happen politically here in the US.
- 5:59Speaker 1: China of course, has to stabilize that looks like it
- 6:02Speaker 1: might be underway, and of course you've got to see
- 6:04Speaker 1: some economic easing here in the United States. The only
- 6:07Speaker 1: thing that could really throw a wrench into this is
- 6:09Speaker 1: going to be continued global conflict that might still be
- 6:12Speaker 1: a problem, even though it is a problem currently. But
- 6:14Speaker 1: I think these are the factors that Lee is getting to,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and I do agree with him. Twenty twenty five might
- 6:19Speaker 1: be the stimulus for both markets, both risk and also
- 6:23Speaker 1: what we'll see in the traditional finance markets as well
- 6:27Speaker 1: bitcoin of course, looking at capital reallocation. A couple of
- 6:30Speaker 1: points from this analyst right here I thought were interesting.
- 6:33Speaker 1: On October eighth, this was QCP Capital predicting a new
- 6:37Speaker 1: capital reallocation to crypto markets in a bulletin to their
- 6:41Speaker 1: Telegram channel subscribers, this of course being a Chinese base,
- 6:44Speaker 1: so this could be a big deal because if you're
- 6:47Speaker 1: looking at a large amount of a population that has
- 6:49Speaker 1: been very active in crypto got clamped down when bitcoin
- 6:52Speaker 1: mining was removed in twenty twenty one, which I still
- 6:55Speaker 1: think was the thing that thwarted that bull run, and
- 6:59Speaker 1: of course re entering that with a stimulus package, China
- 7:02Speaker 1: could be setting things up pretty interestingly here going forward.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I want to run over to this clip real quick,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because this is the stimulus expectation.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Take a look, are you still expecting more fiscal measures
- 7:12Speaker 5: to come through then?
- 7:13Speaker 4: In the next few weeks from months.
- 7:14Speaker 6: The base case is still to follow true, right, I mean,
- 7:17Speaker 6: you look very bad if there was no follow true.
- 7:21Speaker 6: So everything is like, you know, the expectation has been
- 7:23Speaker 6: built in and if there's no follow true, it's not
- 7:26Speaker 6: just affecting global investors. I think the key here is
- 7:30Speaker 6: that the domestic investors are also in the market. Right now,
- 7:34Speaker 6: right people are opening account and they do not deliver.
- 7:38Speaker 6: The credibility issue might be back again, right because we
- 7:42Speaker 6: have many false downs? Can the government another one? Right
- 7:47Speaker 6: and it's still not delivering. I think there is a
- 7:49Speaker 6: lot of frustration if that happens again.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yet, all right, So some key things he said there.
- 7:54Speaker 1: One is the government can't afford another one another downturn
- 7:59Speaker 1: in the Chinese To me, I'm wondering though.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I mean you could go, you know.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Devil's advocate here and look at is China setting something up?
- 8:08Speaker 1: Or is this truly them trying to get their economy
- 8:11Speaker 1: into the world stage again as one of the leading
- 8:15Speaker 1: GDP leaders when it comes to just the stimulus of
- 8:19Speaker 1: none only the growth in China, but also the investment appetite.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So I don't know, this is going to.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Be very interesting to watch very closely because I think
- 8:27Speaker 1: the factor that plays into this with China could lead
- 8:31Speaker 1: us into a very very active bull market for twenty
- 8:34Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Speaking of that, look at the chart right here, S
- 8:38Speaker 1: and P five hundred versus bitcoin. This is US elections
- 8:42Speaker 1: back in twenty twelve. There's the twenty sixteen you can
- 8:45Speaker 1: kind of see right there US elections spike. US elections spike,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and then there's the twenty twenty elections spike into the
- 8:52Speaker 1: next year. Then we had, of course the all time high.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And here we are right now. This could look very
- 8:58Speaker 1: similar to that little zoom in right there to what's
- 9:02Speaker 1: happening right there if you can get to see it
- 9:06Speaker 1: right there on that side.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So could we be in for.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Unbelievable market correction going into maybe the biggest bull market ever.
- 9:17Speaker 2: This is what we're watching very closely. Banner says, yeah, maybe.
- 9:21Speaker 4: So.
- 9:21Speaker 1: China is expected to lift the ban on bitcoin by
- 9:23Speaker 1: the end of year, and if that does happen, it
- 9:25Speaker 1: is going to be unleashed the krack and will definitely
- 9:29Speaker 1: be flowing out there at the next level. Don't forget
- 9:33Speaker 1: Avax getting ready to have their event. But this was
- 9:36Speaker 1: kind of interesting because there's some things happening with me
- 9:40Speaker 1: Wei and this is something we've talked about in term.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Remember these are our decentralized social media platform forms. And
- 9:47Speaker 1: this was kind of interesting because this has got Ava Labs.
- 9:51Speaker 1: That's John Wu right there, president of am Ava Labs,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and guess who he's there with. This is the chairman
- 9:56Speaker 1: and CEO of me We remember me we tied into
- 9:59Speaker 1: Polka Dot.
- 10:00Speaker 2: What's going on here?
- 10:01Speaker 1: I don't know what is brewing here, but is there
- 10:03Speaker 1: something happening in Asia around social media that could be
- 10:08Speaker 1: lining up into blockchain? If we get a decentralized blockchain
- 10:11Speaker 1: social media platform that could go viral, you could see
- 10:14Speaker 1: something that could be very similar to what we've seen
- 10:18Speaker 1: in terms of growth, similar to TikTok, so be on
- 10:21Speaker 1: the lookout for this right now. Speaking of that, if
- 10:24Speaker 1: you look at the virality of this right here's Off
- 10:28Speaker 1: the Grid game, which of course is on Avalanche just
- 10:30Speaker 1: flipped the meme token moodang.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Everybody remembers the little hippo.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Right well, that just now got flipped by of course,
- 10:38Speaker 1: what's happening with Off the Grid.
- 10:39Speaker 2: We did a full video on that yesterday. Go back
- 10:41Speaker 2: and check it out.
- 10:42Speaker 1: If you've never heard off the grid, don't understand the
- 10:44Speaker 1: connection into what Avalanche is doing in the gaming ecosystem.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You need to get caught up on all of that.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And of course, if you're not plugged into the Diamond Circle,
- 10:53Speaker 1: make sure and do that as well. It's one of
- 10:55Speaker 1: the greatest places to get additional content. And by the way,
- 10:58Speaker 1: if we don't hopefully we're going to be live here
- 11:01Speaker 1: because we're in Florida as Hurricane Milton is heading into
- 11:06Speaker 1: Tampa and kind of see just the active screen right
- 11:09Speaker 1: there on Tampa.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We're over in the Miami.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Area, so hopefully we'll be spared a little bit, but
- 11:14Speaker 1: there are tornadoes already touching down and high winds, so
- 11:17Speaker 1: we're actually our studio is going to be shutting down
- 11:19Speaker 1: a little bit here, but we may be back tomorrow,
- 11:21Speaker 1: definitely on Friday. We'll keep a close eye on all
- 11:24Speaker 1: of this. Be on the lookout on my Twitter and
- 11:27Speaker 1: also on PBTV over on Twitter as well. We'll try
- 11:30Speaker 1: to keep caught up there, and as I said, follow
- 11:33Speaker 1: me out there on X at Paul Barren.
- 11:34Speaker 2: We'll catch you next time right here on tech Path
