- 0:59Speaker 4: the way God intended or good old cafe wonna let
- 1:02Speaker 4: you the way I like it, and I do splendid
- 1:04Speaker 4: just to cut back on sugar. But let's dive into
- 1:07Speaker 4: the Locuda, the craziness that's unfolding right now. First off,
- 1:10Speaker 4: Uno Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, went to the
- 1:14Speaker 4: Senate today a Foreign Relations committee. He had a hearing
- 1:18Speaker 4: there and he dropped some serious truth bombs on Cuba
- 1:21Speaker 4: and Venezuela, testifying before the Foreign Relations Committee that defending
- 1:25Speaker 4: the takedown of narco terrorism was paramount to the United
- 1:29Speaker 4: States national interest. In fact, taking down the narco thug
- 1:34Speaker 4: excuse me, Maludu like it was a Sunday family barbecue.
- 1:38Speaker 4: This was no small task, even though the United States
- 1:40Speaker 4: made it look easy. He said, we're not looking to
- 1:43Speaker 4: invade Venezuela. Here's a quote. He said, We're not postured too,
- 1:47Speaker 4: nor do we intend or expect to have to take
- 1:49Speaker 4: any military action in Venezuela at any time. But he
- 1:52Speaker 4: made it crystal clear that Maludo's old regime was a
- 1:55Speaker 4: playground for Iran, for Russia and every bad actor in
- 1:59Speaker 4: the Hempere with the interim leadership cooperating, which are Maluto's
- 2:04Speaker 4: co thugs. Talking about oil deals that put American companies
- 2:08Speaker 4: first and the cheap oil handouts to Cuba that were,
- 2:11Speaker 4: you know, basically funding the Cuban regime in many ways
- 2:14Speaker 4: with their oil. They could barely keep the lights on, right,
- 2:16Speaker 4: You're talking thirteen hours a day without that oil. Who
- 2:18Speaker 4: knows what's going to happen in Cuba, right, So it's
- 2:20Speaker 4: only a matter of time before those guys get chased
- 2:22Speaker 4: out of town, because even the soldiers in the most
- 2:24Speaker 4: loyal comedies are going to say, hey, hold on a
- 2:26Speaker 4: sec You know, I thought if I was a bootlocker
- 2:28Speaker 4: for you, you were gonna hook me up. They can't if
- 2:30Speaker 4: they have nothing to go by. Maybe, just maybe we
- 2:32Speaker 4: might get some real change down there in Cuba, Mamba,
- 2:35Speaker 4: and we're going to see, right. Rubio also warned the
- 2:38Speaker 4: Cubans after seeing what happened to Maluto. He said, I'd
- 2:41Speaker 4: be concerned. I'd say, man, I've bee. I think that's
- 2:45Speaker 4: the straight type of talk that we need, right. We
- 2:47Speaker 4: need a leader that's talking like Secretary of Rubio. No,
- 2:51Speaker 4: we're playing mister nice guy. No, we're playing around with
- 2:54Speaker 4: dictators who flood our streets with fentanyl, who were, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 4: part of the narcosystem and are sitting on this treasure
- 3:01Speaker 4: that we could totally benefit from and help their people
- 3:04Speaker 4: be free. Seems like a win win, but it takes
- 3:07Speaker 4: the right type of leadership, the right type of courage,
- 3:09Speaker 4: like what we see coming from Editron Pitos and all
- 3:11Speaker 4: this magnus to forty fifth and forty seventh president of
- 3:14Speaker 4: these United States. That's one of those things that I
- 3:18Speaker 4: think is a good thing, right I do. Maybe I'm wrong,
- 3:20Speaker 4: you know, Maybe I'm just Maybe that's my inner authoritarian
- 3:23Speaker 4: shining through. Who knows. Anyway, I think Marco Rubio, the
- 3:27Speaker 4: good Secretary of State that we have. I think he's
- 3:29Speaker 4: out here doing the Lord's work. And the left is,
- 3:31Speaker 4: of course clutching their pearls like it's the end of
- 3:34Speaker 4: the world. Newsflash, it is the end of their world
- 3:37Speaker 4: and the beginning of America's comeback. But wait, it gets
- 3:40Speaker 4: better or worse, depending on if you're a Kammi sympathizer
- 3:43Speaker 4: or not. While Rubio's schooling the Senate on why we
- 3:47Speaker 4: can't let Narco States thrive, just ninety miles away from Miami,
- 3:51Speaker 4: you got ill han Omar getting a little taste of
- 3:54Speaker 4: her own chaos in Minnesota, which I would bet was staged.
- 3:57Speaker 4: But she was at a town hall meeting ranting about
- 4:00Speaker 4: abolishing ICE because apparently securing the border is racist now right,
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's racist, white supremacist, you know, all that calling for
- 4:07Speaker 4: Christy Nome to be impeached. Suddenly some guy rushes the
- 4:10Speaker 4: stage and sprays her with some mystery liquid from a
- 4:13Speaker 4: syringe boom. Tackled by security, she takes it off like
- 4:16Speaker 4: a champ, She says, Minnesota strong. Look, I don't condone violence,
- 4:20Speaker 4: full stop. But this is the same ill hand Omar
- 4:24Speaker 4: who spent years fanning the flames of the vision right
- 4:27Speaker 4: when she said things like some people did something right
- 4:30Speaker 4: when they attacked America, And now the tone in Minnesota.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Is it shifting? I don't know. I would hope. So.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I think people are fed up with the open border insanity.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I think people are tired of the Democrats protecting child
- 4:42Speaker 4: rapists and drug traffickers and all sorts of gangbangers and
- 4:45Speaker 4: trying to make it look like the Ice is out
- 4:47Speaker 4: there grabbing every last Tom Dick and Harry that works
- 4:51Speaker 4: in every last restaurant as a dishwasher, and is ignoring
- 4:54Speaker 4: these violent criminals that are seeking refuge here. You got
- 4:56Speaker 4: to remember Venezuela was emptying out their jail and sending
- 5:01Speaker 4: people to the United States so that they didn't have
- 5:02Speaker 4: to deal with that. Anybody forgot that part. I didn't
- 5:05Speaker 4: forget that part. Trump he says, Look, he's going to
- 5:08Speaker 4: escalate this. But when mayor's like Jacob Freyfry, say Minneapolis,
- 5:12Speaker 4: wont and forest federal immigration laws, who's the one playing
- 5:14Speaker 4: with fire here?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:15Speaker 4: I think it's ilhann Omar. Right. She's been Trump's at
- 5:18Speaker 4: least for the last couple of years. She's been Trump's
- 5:20Speaker 4: favorite pinata. Right, She's the foil. That's why people say
- 5:23Speaker 4: she's gonna get locked up. I said, there's no way
- 5:24Speaker 4: she gets locked up. What would Trump talk about, right?
- 5:26Speaker 4: He can't talk about AOC the same way he talks
- 5:29Speaker 4: about ill han r. He can't say we're gonna deport
- 5:31Speaker 4: her and all that. He can only do that, Hey,
- 5:33Speaker 4: that she married her brother and all these This is
- 5:35Speaker 4: this is this is great stuff, right from the perspective
- 5:39Speaker 4: of having a foil, of having somebody you can beat
- 5:42Speaker 4: up publicly, this is it. Right. Used to be Hillary
- 5:44Speaker 4: Clinton befoilos lock her up, lock her up, because you'd
- 5:48Speaker 4: be in jail. Right. These are golden moments in Trump's rhetoric.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So I don't see il han Omer going anywhere, and
- 5:55Speaker 4: I see her raising a ton of cash in the process,
- 5:59Speaker 4: right to all of her friends supporters who hate themselves
- 6:01Speaker 4: and hate America, so they're happy to send her a
- 6:04Speaker 4: check anyway, speaking of Minnesota, and I'm trying to not
- 6:08Speaker 4: do it, but it's like that's all we can get
- 6:09Speaker 4: lately is Minnesota, which is crazy. New video that dropped
- 6:12Speaker 4: of Alex Preddy. This one is of him eleven days
- 6:15Speaker 4: before he was shot by federal agents. It shows him
- 6:18Speaker 4: spitting at the cops, attacking them, kicking a taillight right
- 6:22Speaker 4: out of their police vehicle, and looking like he's got
- 6:25Speaker 4: a gun tucked in his waistband as he's doing it. Now,
- 6:28Speaker 4: this wasn't some peaceful nurse protesting, although my comments on
- 6:32Speaker 4: social media were, yep, mostly peaceful. This is a guy escalating, resisting,
- 6:36Speaker 4: turning a routine operation into a brawl. The left wants
- 6:40Speaker 4: to paint this guy, Alex Preddy, the nurse that was
- 6:43Speaker 4: shot by Ice or the Border Patrol, rather as a
- 6:46Speaker 4: marty or as a victim, but the footage doesn't lie.
- 6:49Speaker 4: He resisted, things went south, and tragically he lost his life.
- 6:53Speaker 4: That sucks, right, just like that lady. That sucks. And
- 6:56Speaker 4: I would say in both cases, I'll be very frank.
- 6:58Speaker 4: I don't know if that lady was trying to murder
- 7:00Speaker 4: the cop. I don't know. I think she might have
- 7:03Speaker 4: been under the pressure of her partner that was in
- 7:06Speaker 4: the seat next to her saying go, go go, and
- 7:09Speaker 4: she was confused if she should turn the wheel this way,
- 7:11Speaker 4: that way, straight forward, left, right. But what she did,
- 7:14Speaker 4: as a matter of fact, as a matter of video evidence,
- 7:17Speaker 4: she gunned that car straight ahead of a cop and
- 7:19Speaker 4: hit him. And he was within his full rights to
- 7:22Speaker 4: empty out that clip to stop that threat. And I
- 7:25Speaker 4: don't say that with any pride or happiness. I say
- 7:28Speaker 4: that with I'm glad I know that that's a fact,
- 7:31Speaker 4: and I'm glad I can teach my children that don't
- 7:33Speaker 4: get dead right, don't do things that are stupid that
- 7:36Speaker 4: can hurt you. I do my best to not do
- 7:38Speaker 4: that stuff, because listen, you only get one shot at
- 7:41Speaker 4: this game, right, It's like your teeth. You gotta take
- 7:43Speaker 4: here of your teeth. You get one shot, you get
- 7:45Speaker 4: one set of choppers. That's it. After that, you got
- 7:48Speaker 4: a fake ones. And unlike teeth, you don't really get
- 7:51Speaker 4: nine lives, right, unless you're a cat anyway, These are
- 7:54Speaker 4: the same and those that like to scream defund the police, right,
- 7:59Speaker 4: the same people that like Alex Pretty and the rest
- 8:02Speaker 4: of these guys. I think we need accountability. They want
- 8:05Speaker 4: the agents to leave, they want the investigations to continue,
- 8:09Speaker 4: but that's not something that can happen, right, That's just
- 8:11Speaker 4: this honest, it's hypocritical because the agents are only there
- 8:16Speaker 4: because the state isn't helping and the city won't help.
- 8:19Speaker 4: They're not honoring those ice detainer requests. Now, they would
- 8:23Speaker 4: have been there on other related matters like oh we
- 8:26Speaker 4: have a warrant for this one, we got a okay,
- 8:28Speaker 4: but those are isolated and fewer incidents. But the way
- 8:33Speaker 4: they're there, in the force that they're in now, they've
- 8:35Speaker 4: got no choice. They've got no choice but to be there.
- 8:40Speaker 4: So I'm glad Tom Holman's on the ground. Mayor Frey
- 8:44Speaker 4: Fry has been kind of quiet. Governor Wall seems to
- 8:47Speaker 4: love Tom Holman. He's saying he called me, called me immediately,
- 8:50Speaker 4: a Christy Noman didn't call me, So maybe there is
- 8:53Speaker 4: going to be a change. Right again, I've been around
- 8:55Speaker 4: politics long enough to know that you know, sometimes you
- 8:58Speaker 4: get other people to do your dirty Maybe that's what's
- 9:00Speaker 4: happening here, right, Maybe there will be some changes in DHS.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Right Listen, I know I would be looking at this,
- 9:07Speaker 4: and I like Christine. I think she's a skilled operator.
- 9:09Speaker 4: I think she's a good administrator. But I'm sure somebody
- 9:13Speaker 4: hear me say that and say, you think she's a
- 9:15Speaker 4: good administrator. You got dead people in the streets two
- 9:18Speaker 4: and two weeks, three shootings in three weeks, all right,
- 9:20Speaker 4: and how do you come back from that?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:22Speaker 4: And you could say, well, if these you know, of
- 9:24Speaker 4: course there are there's reasons, there are extenuating circumstances. I
- 9:28Speaker 4: get that. I'm not blaming her. I'm just saying somebody's
- 9:32Speaker 4: gonna blame her, right because I know how Washington works,
- 9:35Speaker 4: I know how politics are. That's just the facts of
- 9:38Speaker 4: life in this game. Somewhere, somehow, somebody's head is going
- 9:41Speaker 4: to roll. Don't know who's head, all right. I told
- 9:43Speaker 4: you this a while back too, when it was the
- 9:46Speaker 4: signal leak, right, not necessarily a head rolling, but movement.
- 9:50Speaker 4: You saw Mike Wallas, he was moved right out from
- 9:53Speaker 4: being National Security Advisor, got himself a nice cushy ambassadorship.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Good for him. What I would do to be an
- 10:00Speaker 4: ambassador to anything? Wow, what a great gig. First of all,
- 10:03Speaker 4: they call you your excellency. I think that's fantastic. That's
- 10:07Speaker 4: wonderful for my ego. Right, right, what's the other term
- 10:11Speaker 4: they have there, your excellency? There was another really fancy
- 10:18Speaker 4: term for them. Anyway, you can actually call them your eminence.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I think that's a little too much, and I'd feel
- 10:25Speaker 4: like I was some sort of pope or something. But anyway,
- 10:28Speaker 4: my point is what a great gig that is. And
- 10:30Speaker 4: I think Mike Wallas is qualified. But again, in that world,
- 10:33Speaker 4: accountability comes no matter what it looks like. Right you move,
- 10:38Speaker 4: they shift, even if it's just perceived. You can't stay
- 10:42Speaker 4: here today. You gotta go right, like the cops say,
- 10:44Speaker 4: you don't have to go home, but you can't stay
- 10:45Speaker 4: here anyway, let's continue. Oh, don't get me started on
- 10:50Speaker 4: this one. This one is Elliott foroehan Or. I guess
- 10:56Speaker 4: it's a silent age foreign but that sounds foreign. Ha ha.
- 11:01Speaker 4: This is the Ohio Democrat running for attorney general. He
- 11:04Speaker 4: posts a video saying I'm going to kill Donald Trump,
- 11:08Speaker 4: and then he clarifies. He says, no, no, I mean
- 11:10Speaker 4: through trial and capital punishment. Okay, what about this guy
- 11:14Speaker 4: is nuts. This is the same guy who trash talk
- 11:18Speaker 4: Charlie Kirk right after his murder. Threats like this, I
- 11:22Speaker 4: think will likely get you in trouble, right with the
- 11:26Speaker 4: Secret Service knocking at your door. But we'll see what happens.
- 11:29Speaker 4: I don't know how this ends up for this guy.
- 11:32Speaker 4: I think he's going to say, first Amendment, I'm a
- 11:34Speaker 4: political candidate. I said something. I misspoke, but he misspoke
- 11:38Speaker 4: for his benefit, right to get the headlines. He's getting
- 11:40Speaker 4: to get the coverage. He's getting to get me saying
- 11:42Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:43Speaker 4: He wants everybody to know his name, Elliott Fourhan for him.
- 11:46Speaker 4: All right, so now we know you Europe and the
- 11:48Speaker 4: next story. But we can't really move that quickly because
- 11:51Speaker 4: I think we have to talk about this. This is
- 11:53Speaker 4: part of their strategy. Right when I say there, I'm
- 11:56Speaker 4: talking about the left. The left wants to use the rules,
- 12:00Speaker 4: break the rules. They want to walk right up to
- 12:02Speaker 4: the line and not cross it. They want to use
- 12:04Speaker 4: the system to destroy the system. This is what they do.
- 12:08Speaker 4: This is how they specialize. This is the Marxist Leninist
- 12:12Speaker 4: wing of the Democrat Party. Remember it's the Marxist Leninists
- 12:18Speaker 4: that were the revolutionaries Stalin the rest of them, some
- 12:23Speaker 4: of them are the guys from the Fabian's school that
- 12:27Speaker 4: believe that we don't have to have a revolution. We
- 12:30Speaker 4: can just take over all the institutions. Take over the schools,
- 12:33Speaker 4: take over the unions, take over the government, take over this.
- 12:36Speaker 4: We'll have so many of our people there that will
- 12:39Speaker 4: just make it our way. A right. So who's a
- 12:40Speaker 4: good example of that. This man who just became the
- 12:43Speaker 4: mayor of New York City, all right, Zorai Mundani. He
- 12:46Speaker 4: doesn't call for revolution. He yells a lot, he smiles
- 12:50Speaker 4: a lot, He puts his hand on his heart a lot.
- 12:52Speaker 4: At the end of the day, he's talking about you know,
- 12:54Speaker 4: I'm going to put se Weaver in here talking about
- 12:57Speaker 4: home ownership as a racist and white supremacist. He's going
- 13:00Speaker 4: to get the person that was the criminal defense lawyer
- 13:03Speaker 4: for al Qaeda and ISIS and whatever it was they were.
- 13:07Speaker 4: If I'm getting those confused, forgive me to be part
- 13:11Speaker 4: of his legal team. These are the people that he
- 13:14Speaker 4: wants running New York City, so that we can become
- 13:17Speaker 4: the next Minnesota. I say no, thank you, but hey,
- 13:21Speaker 4: that's why I live across the river. And look, Jersey's
- 13:23Speaker 4: no better with I was gonna call her Abigail Spamberger,
- 13:28Speaker 4: but that's Virginia with Mikey Cheryl. Anyway, that's another story
- 13:32Speaker 4: for another day. But this is why we fight, because
- 13:36Speaker 4: the double standard is thicker than you know, like the
- 13:40Speaker 4: big owl at the bottom of a rocanandules, you know,
- 13:42Speaker 4: the bottom of the pot stick like that. Anyway, America
- 13:46Speaker 4: we are in some wild times, and Rubio laying down
- 13:50Speaker 4: the law with dictators is good. Minnesota continues to boil over.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Hopefully this starts to cool. I'm personally bored of it.
- 13:58Speaker 4: My ADHD is killing me. I don't want to talk
- 14:00Speaker 4: about this anymore. I really don't. I want something else.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I need something juicy here but not this. And the
- 14:05Speaker 4: videos are out there exposing everything on this pretty guy.
- 14:08Speaker 4: The radicals are openly fantasizing about executing the president. We
- 14:13Speaker 4: saw this years ago with Kathy Griffin, and it continues.
- 14:16Speaker 4: It's not getting better. It seems either to be the
- 14:18Speaker 4: same or worse because he's been shot since then. We've
- 14:21Speaker 4: got to take out the threats and put America first.
- 14:24Speaker 4: That's all I could say. But we have to be strong.
- 14:26Speaker 4: No more weakness, no more apologies. Anyway, let me know
- 14:28Speaker 4: what you think. Give me a call eight seven to seven,
- 14:30Speaker 4: valdest one. Let's keep the conversation going. There's more to come,
- 14:33Speaker 4: straight ahead, keep it locked right here. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 14:36Speaker 1: This is America, this is Aria.
- 14:55Speaker 4: All right, He goes, welcome back, Rich Valdes. Valdes with
- 14:58Speaker 4: an ask at Rich Valdeest on all of the social media.
- 15:01Speaker 4: And I want to start off with Marco Rubio. He
- 15:03Speaker 4: was in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today and he
- 15:06Speaker 4: had plenty of things to say about plenty of things,
- 15:09Speaker 4: and I want you to hear them. I got a
- 15:10Speaker 4: couple of clips. We're going to walk through them. Nothing
- 15:12Speaker 4: too crazy, nothing much too exejet here right e xc
- 15:17Speaker 4: G e T E exejet. We don't have to do
- 15:20Speaker 4: too much exegesis on this stuff. I'm using my twelve
- 15:24Speaker 4: dollars words today because he does a great job explaining
- 15:28Speaker 4: this stuff. But good for him, right, I'm really impressed.
- 15:32Speaker 4: I just want to take a moment to say I'm
- 15:33Speaker 4: really impressed with Marco Rubio. I've always have been I
- 15:37Speaker 4: was on the fence between Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and
- 15:41Speaker 4: Donald Trump during that primary, and I think about maybe
- 15:45Speaker 4: the third way, the fourth debate, whatever it was, where
- 15:47Speaker 4: Trump just went buck wild on everybody, and it just
- 15:49Speaker 4: seemed like he lined up everybody on that stage and
- 15:52Speaker 4: just smacked him down one by one. Just Toma, bothfe
- 15:56Speaker 4: do Toma. He just buffeted each one of them. And
- 16:00Speaker 4: I said, man, Trump's the guy. Trump is the guy.
- 16:03Speaker 4: He's bringing the aggressiveness that we need to change the game.
- 16:07Speaker 4: And listen. I liked Jeb Bush. I thought he was
- 16:09Speaker 4: a viable candidate. I wasn't a Jeb Bush hater. But
- 16:12Speaker 4: Trump made a lot of great points. Right. He marginalized
- 16:15Speaker 4: Mark Rubio, he lion ted lion ted, right, he went
- 16:20Speaker 4: after Cruise. I mean he went after everybody in a
- 16:23Speaker 4: way that in a language I spoke, coming up with
- 16:26Speaker 4: funny nicknames and making fun of people.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:29Speaker 4: It was like he was a talk radio guy. I said,
- 16:31Speaker 4: oh my goodness, this is great. I feel like I'm
- 16:32Speaker 4: listening to the radio and Trump is the host. Obviously,
- 16:34Speaker 4: and I was already a fan of Trump's, but I said, man,
- 16:36Speaker 4: this is it. He's got what it takes because he
- 16:39Speaker 4: is a TV guy and he knew what you needed
- 16:41Speaker 4: to do when you get on TV. Anyway, fast forward.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I love what they've done together. I love that they're
- 16:45Speaker 4: all working together. I love that we have such a
- 16:47Speaker 4: solid bench on the Republican side at least for you know,
- 16:51Speaker 4: really good candidates that can really hold their own, that
- 16:53Speaker 4: can really make concise and cogent arguments, because otherwise the
- 16:57Speaker 4: Left is just out there every day with the same story.
- 17:00Speaker 4: If you can condone this man being killed, don't talk
- 17:03Speaker 4: to me. You're inhumane. If you think this is okay,
- 17:06Speaker 4: then right constantly trying to wedge and pivot and divide
- 17:10Speaker 4: and wedge and pivot.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Right.
- 17:11Speaker 4: They don't want to have a conversation, They just want submit, submit.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Do you believe what I believe? Do you agree with
- 17:18Speaker 4: me on this topic? Yes or no? If you don't,
- 17:20Speaker 4: you're not allowed, right, You're not allowed to exist, You're
- 17:23Speaker 4: not allowed to be my friend, You're not allowed to
- 17:25Speaker 4: have an opinion, you are not allowed. Who's the real
- 17:28Speaker 4: authoritarian here when I'm the one saying, hey, let's talk
- 17:30Speaker 4: about it, well, let me tell you why I think
- 17:32Speaker 4: of the way I think. Mmm, yeah, no, maybe so no,
- 17:35Speaker 4: not at all. This is why I can never really
- 17:38Speaker 4: get down with the left, because they're never willing. It's
- 17:40Speaker 4: like they try to take this moral high ground like
- 17:42Speaker 4: they're somehow morally superior. But now again, yet again, right,
- 17:47Speaker 4: whether it was George Floyd or a million other situations,
- 17:49Speaker 4: now they are coming to the rescue of the guy
- 17:51Speaker 4: who's spat on the police, who who was at the thing.
- 17:55Speaker 4: And look, I don't care that he had a gun.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I want everybody to have a gun. If you've listened
- 17:59Speaker 4: to this show long enough, I think in armed society
- 18:01Speaker 4: is a polite society. Amen, Praise God, Hallelujah. I want
- 18:05Speaker 4: everyone to be armed. Lookay, I'm talking about Minnesota again.
- 18:08Speaker 4: I started with Marko Rubio. I'm in Minnesota. See what
- 18:10Speaker 4: I'm talking about Minnesota? Anyway, My point was they tried
- 18:13Speaker 4: to paint him as an angel, right, even using some
- 18:16Speaker 4: AI to soften his image, make him look like he's
- 18:19Speaker 4: smiling in some of the pictures, when he was actually
- 18:21Speaker 4: like had a scowl on his face. Anyway, bottom line is,
- 18:25Speaker 4: I don't think people are buying it anymore than people
- 18:27Speaker 4: can't look at the video in their face and go no, no, no, no,
- 18:30Speaker 4: that's not no, no, he had to do that. I mean,
- 18:32Speaker 4: wouldn't you be mad if they were, if ice were
- 18:35Speaker 4: kidnapping people, moms and dads and five year olds in detention,
- 18:38Speaker 4: wouldn't you be mad at spit at them, Nazis, Fascists?
- 18:44Speaker 4: Let me go die my hair blue. Anyway, we'll get
- 18:47Speaker 4: into that later, maybe, or maybe we'll just move on
- 18:49Speaker 4: because I really don't want to talk about that. I
- 18:50Speaker 4: want to talk about Marco Rubio and how he's laying
- 18:54Speaker 4: things down in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing today,
- 19:01Speaker 4: and I thought this is a good idea. He says, Look,
- 19:03Speaker 4: we can't let our foreign enemies, adversaries, however you want
- 19:07Speaker 4: to phrase it. I'll let you take your pick, become
- 19:11Speaker 4: the bullies on the playground that is Venezuela. Listen to this.
- 19:15Speaker 5: We just want it to be a normal, prosperous country again,
- 19:18Speaker 5: not a playground for Iran, Russia and China in our
- 19:20Speaker 5: own hemisphere. And we're going to try to help them
- 19:22Speaker 5: get there because we think it serves our national interest.
- 19:25Speaker 5: That will require actions on our part, not money, but
- 19:28Speaker 5: ultimately that will require them. This is ultimately going to
- 19:31Speaker 5: be on the Venezuelan people and Venezuelan society and Venezuelan
- 19:34Speaker 5: leaders to make this happen. We're going to be there
- 19:36Speaker 5: to help and assist and create the parameters for it.
- 19:38Speaker 5: And we feel like we're making really good progress. If
- 19:40Speaker 5: we make as much progress over the next four weeks
- 19:43Speaker 5: as we've made in the last three and a half weeks,
- 19:45Speaker 5: I'll feel very good about that.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Again, Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the Senate for
- 19:51Speaker 4: Relations Committee today, and I agree, right, Look, I get
- 19:54Speaker 4: it some people like rand Paul. Rand Paul made a
- 19:57Speaker 4: very eloquent argument today, very very very eloquent argument, and again,
- 20:02Speaker 4: not one that I am going to disagree with. I'm
- 20:04Speaker 4: not going to disagree because I think he has he
- 20:07Speaker 4: makes a point. He's just making the point from a
- 20:09Speaker 4: perspective that I think is not accurate, right, And I
- 20:12Speaker 4: think that there's a caveat here, and the caveat is
- 20:14Speaker 4: that we did not remove ahead of state. We removed
- 20:17Speaker 4: the pretender, right, somebody who was a pretender to the throne.
- 20:20Speaker 4: He was pretending to be the head of state. And
- 20:22Speaker 4: it wasn't just the United States that made that determination.
- 20:25Speaker 4: It was fifty four different nations that made that determination.
- 20:29Speaker 4: So when you have a good portion of the global
- 20:31Speaker 4: community saying, look, we agree with this, it doesn't mean
- 20:34Speaker 4: that it's right, but it means you have some ground
- 20:37Speaker 4: to stand on, some right. I mean, there's probably fifty
- 20:40Speaker 4: four nations that think that Yahoo's a war criminal because
- 20:42Speaker 4: they hate his guts and they hate what Israel is doing,
- 20:45Speaker 4: and they are sympathetic to the Islamo fascists. I get
- 20:49Speaker 4: that too. So listen, this cuts both ways. It can't
- 20:53Speaker 4: just be when it's convenient to me. I don't acknowledge maludo,
- 20:56Speaker 4: but when it's convenient to the others, well they're wrong, right, No, No,
- 20:59Speaker 4: I mean this is how things work. Right, we have
- 21:02Speaker 4: to be fair in our assessment, and I think that's
- 21:04Speaker 4: what rand Paul was trying to do. However, I think
- 21:08Speaker 4: this is the crux. I don't believe that we did that,
- 21:12Speaker 4: and I think Rubio answered this really well when he said, look,
- 21:15Speaker 4: we're always going to do what's in the best interest
- 21:18Speaker 4: of the United States, and that I think is the
- 21:21Speaker 4: right answer. Right. I'm not busting the kick, kicking down
- 21:25Speaker 4: the doorwave in the four four, right, I'm not doing
- 21:26Speaker 4: that to anybody. But guess what if you come to
- 21:29Speaker 4: my house. You may be very surprised if you're uninvited.
- 21:33Speaker 4: And I don't say that as a threat or as
- 21:35Speaker 4: an act of bravado or anything like that. I say
- 21:37Speaker 4: that as I feel like I have a duty to
- 21:39Speaker 4: do that or I must do this, because that is
- 21:43Speaker 4: what we are here to do, is to protect and provide.
- 21:48Speaker 4: But Rubio had a very interesting exchange with Senator Rand Paul,
- 21:52Speaker 4: a Republican from Kentucky, a libertarian, the son of Ron Paul.
- 21:56Speaker 4: And I want you to hear it. I'm gonna play
- 21:58Speaker 4: the clip. I think I have a minute and a
- 22:00Speaker 4: half clip. It's a really good clip. Check this out.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Foreign country bombed our air defense missiles, captured and removed
- 22:07Speaker 3: our president, and blockaded our country. Would that be considered
- 22:11Speaker 3: an active war?
- 22:12Speaker 5: Well, I think your question is about the and I
- 22:15Speaker 5: will acknowledge you have been very consistent on all these
- 22:17Speaker 5: points the entire career. So let me let me no
- 22:21Speaker 5: matter who the who's in charge. So I will point
- 22:23Speaker 5: the two things. The first is it's hard for us
- 22:25Speaker 5: to conceive that an operation that lasted about four and
- 22:28Speaker 5: a half hours was a law enforcement operation to capture someone.
- 22:31Speaker 5: We don't recognize as a head of state indicted in
- 22:34Speaker 5: the United States, wanted with a fifty million dollars.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Bout would be if it only took four hours to
- 22:38Speaker 3: take our president.
- 22:39Speaker 2: It's very short.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Nobody dies on the other side, nobody dies on our side.
- 22:43Speaker 2: It's perfect. Would it be an active war?
- 22:46Speaker 5: We just don't believe that this operation comes anywhere close
- 22:48Speaker 5: to the constitutional definition.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Of Well, would it be an active warf someone did
- 22:52Speaker 3: it does nobody dies, few casualties, their in and out, boom,
- 22:56Speaker 3: It's a perfect military operation.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Would that be an active war?
- 22:59Speaker 4: Of course, it would be an act of war.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I'm probably the most anti war person in the Senate,
- 23:04Speaker 3: and I would vote to declare war if someone invaded
- 23:07Speaker 3: our country and took our president.
- 23:09Speaker 2: So my next question would.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Be, now, before you go anywhere, Senator, I just want
- 23:13Speaker 4: to say I agree with that statement, right. I agree
- 23:16Speaker 4: that if someone came here and kidnapped Donald Trump and
- 23:21Speaker 4: left and try to make it look like, oh yeah, no, no,
- 23:25Speaker 4: we just win. He's ours. He broke international law. We're
- 23:28Speaker 4: just enforcing our warrant. We got your guy, and that's
- 23:30Speaker 4: a I don't think it's possible, but let's just presume
- 23:32Speaker 4: it was, I would say, oh no, no, no, we're coming,
- 23:36Speaker 4: and we're coming hard. However, the difference here is our
- 23:39Speaker 4: president is elected. And although Hillary Clinton said that he
- 23:42Speaker 4: was not the right president, he was not the legitimate president.
- 23:45Speaker 4: And so many others said, oh, he won't leave if
- 23:48Speaker 4: he's not elected, and watch out, they're gonna have to
- 23:50Speaker 4: force him out of the White House. All that was lies.
- 23:53Speaker 4: He happily left. He got on Marine one. He flew
- 23:55Speaker 4: to Marrow Lago, a house much nicer than the one
- 23:58Speaker 4: he lives in Washington. And this is my point that
- 24:01Speaker 4: rhetoric is a beautiful thing, right. It's great, it's persuasive,
- 24:05Speaker 4: it can attack, it can do lots of things. But
- 24:08Speaker 4: it's actions that speak louder than words, and those actions
- 24:11Speaker 4: aren't there. We do have a legitimate president. We wouldn't
- 24:16Speaker 4: need a foreign government to arrest our fake president. We
- 24:19Speaker 4: would do it on our own. We have the best
- 24:21Speaker 4: military on the planet. And that's the point that I
- 24:24Speaker 4: think the Senator is missing. He's this is an esoteric argument,
- 24:28Speaker 4: but I understand his premise because he is true to
- 24:31Speaker 4: the game. This is what he believes in.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Go right ahead, Let's say it's not a war we're
- 24:37Speaker 3: just going to define it away and say it's not
- 24:38Speaker 3: a war.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That's one of the arguments. So it's a drug bust.
- 24:42Speaker 3: What if a foreign country indicts our president for violating
- 24:46Speaker 3: a foreign law, should we extradite our president or should
- 24:50Speaker 3: we be okay if they come in and get him
- 24:52Speaker 3: by force.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Look, I think ultimately we're always going to act act
- 24:54Speaker 5: in our national interest, and so if somebody comes after
- 24:57Speaker 5: our national interest like the case you've described, which obviously
- 25:01Speaker 5: it does not exist at this time, but the case
- 25:03Speaker 5: you've described, the US always has the right to act
- 25:05Speaker 5: in its national interest and to protect itself. So I
- 25:08Speaker 5: don't know about this equivalency. Does this justify them doing it?
- 25:11Speaker 5: We're always going to do what's best for the United
- 25:12Speaker 5: States in America. We're always going to protect our system.
- 25:14Speaker 3: But the point isn't then you're exactly right. We will
- 25:17Speaker 3: act in our national interest.
- 25:19Speaker 2: We should.
- 25:19Speaker 3: So I'm not disagreeing with you at all. What I'm
- 25:21Speaker 3: saying is though, that our arguments are empty. Then the
- 25:24Speaker 3: drug bust isn't really an argument.
- 25:26Speaker 2: It's a ruse.
- 25:28Speaker 3: The war argument, not a war is a war is
- 25:30Speaker 3: a ruse. It's not a real argument. And we do
- 25:34Speaker 3: what we do because we are we have the force,
- 25:36Speaker 3: we have the might.
- 25:37Speaker 2: We do it because it's in our interest, So we wouldn't.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Let I'm gonna pause right here because I'm going to
- 25:42Speaker 4: say no, and Secretary Rubio is going to respond, but
- 25:45Speaker 4: I'm going to say no, that's not just a ruse.
- 25:48Speaker 4: When President Obama issued strikes, and I use him because
- 25:51Speaker 4: he's an opposing figure, he's not on our side per se,
- 25:55Speaker 4: at least not in mine. When he did zone drone strikes,
- 25:59Speaker 4: when he did all the different military actions that he
- 26:02Speaker 4: took in his presidency, these were not acts of war, right,
- 26:05Speaker 4: even though it may look like war by the definition
- 26:08Speaker 4: that the United States has now ran. Paul back then
- 26:11Speaker 4: was saying the same thing he's saying now, don't use
- 26:14Speaker 4: our military without Congress saying it's okay, period bond if not.
- 26:18Speaker 4: That's Rand Paul's position, but all of his friends believe that, yes,
- 26:23Speaker 4: you can have these limited types of surprise strikes without
- 26:26Speaker 4: having to go to Congress, Mother may I every single time.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Because the president, as the chief executive of the country
- 26:33Speaker 4: and the commander in chief of the armed forces, has
- 26:36Speaker 4: to have that flexibility in leeway to do things in
- 26:38Speaker 4: the national interest, and you can't do that, especially if
- 26:42Speaker 4: you have an opposing party that could slow you down
- 26:44Speaker 4: and slow down the interest of the country, especially if
- 26:47Speaker 4: it's sensitive, highly classified information. And what are you gonna do? Convene?
- 26:52Speaker 4: All right, we found out the Chinese just left Maduro's
- 26:55Speaker 4: house in Mitra Flores, and we're gonna go. We have
- 26:58Speaker 4: twenty minute window to the vice president who turned States
- 27:02Speaker 4: on him, just told us he's going to be here,
- 27:04Speaker 4: and we've got fifteen minutes to get in and out.
- 27:06Speaker 4: There's going to be guards on this wall, the north wall,
- 27:08Speaker 4: the south wall. How do you do that? Go all right, quickly,
- 27:11Speaker 4: convene a session of Congress. Oh but they're in the district.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Oh but they're sleeping. Oh but they're at the local brothel.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Oh they're at the local bar. Oh they're you know,
- 27:18Speaker 4: hanging out with lobbyists. How are you going to convene
- 27:21Speaker 4: this group of Congress to get this going? You can't.
- 27:24Speaker 4: It's not feasible. This is why the president, any president,
- 27:28Speaker 4: has these powers. And that's to me, the bottom line
- 27:31Speaker 4: answer to this. It's just not an act of war.
- 27:34Speaker 4: We didn't go there to invade. We went there quickly
- 27:37Speaker 4: surgical extraction and we left boomtleef. You now very clear
- 27:41Speaker 4: to me, go right ahead, Senator.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Let anybody come in bomb us, blockade us and take
- 27:47Speaker 3: our president.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Let's call it what it is, and let's vote on
- 27:50Speaker 2: these things.
- 27:50Speaker 3: But I think we're in violation of the ghost of
- 27:52Speaker 3: spirit in the law of a constitution by bombing a capital,
- 27:56Speaker 3: blockading a country, and removing.
- 28:00Speaker 4: If we went to a different city, would you feel
- 28:02Speaker 4: better right? You see? That to me is an empty argument.
- 28:04Speaker 4: And again I like Grandpa a lot. I met him
- 28:07Speaker 4: last January. Very nice guy, very nice guy, very smart guy,
- 28:11Speaker 4: and I support a lot of what he does and says.
- 28:13Speaker 4: But I think on this point, I think there's a misunderstanding.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Elected officials, and we certainly wouldn't tolerate it, nor would
- 28:20Speaker 3: I if someone did it us.
- 28:21Speaker 4: But we didn't remove an elected official.
- 28:24Speaker 5: We removed someone who was not elected, and it was
- 28:26Speaker 5: actually an indicted drug trafficker in the United States and
- 28:30Speaker 5: their as system.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Our laws indicted under our laws.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Look, Bolsonaro says that Dasil.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Sir, indicted under our laws? Yes, because we are what
- 28:41Speaker 4: laws are we going to hear? By Venezuelan law?
- 28:44Speaker 3: We're not Venezuelan's is not really the president of Brazil.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Our president said, Biden wasn't really the president. Hillary Clinton
- 28:52Speaker 3: said in twenty sixteen, Trump wasn't the president.
- 28:54Speaker 2: So you have these arguments, and I.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Agree with you him it probably was, and most likely
- 28:59Speaker 3: was most as surely was a bad election.
- 29:01Speaker 2: He wasn't really elected.
- 29:03Speaker 3: But at the same time, if that's our predicate, and
- 29:05Speaker 3: you don't have to come to us because as it's
- 29:06Speaker 3: a drug bust, we're just removing somebody, you can see
- 29:09Speaker 3: where it leads to, and it leads to chaos. And
- 29:14Speaker 3: that's why we have rules like the Constitution, so we
- 29:16Speaker 3: don't get so far out there that president.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Hold on, where is the chaos? Though? To me, this
- 29:21Speaker 4: is one of the cleanest things I've ever seen. I
- 29:22Speaker 4: don't see anybody besides Rampaul and a handful of Democrats
- 29:26Speaker 4: that are complaining.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Suits can do whatever they want.
- 29:29Speaker 3: If a foreign country bombed our air defense missiles.
- 29:32Speaker 4: And nobody's bombing anything, sir, Now we're playing you know,
- 29:35Speaker 4: what if? What if? What if? And again I don't
- 29:37Speaker 4: mean to sound snide or anything. It's not how I
- 29:39Speaker 4: feel at all, Like I said, nothing but respect for Rampaul.
- 29:41Speaker 4: I really like the guy, but on this one, I
- 29:43Speaker 4: just think this isn't this is inaccurate, it's not right
- 29:46Speaker 4: at all. All Right, let us continue, because I thought
- 29:49Speaker 4: that was a fantastic discussion. Truly was, in my opinion,
- 29:52Speaker 4: a fantastic discussion and one that needs to be had, right.
- 29:57Speaker 4: I don't think we should not have those discussions. I
- 29:59Speaker 4: think we should have more of those discussions because I'm
- 30:02Speaker 4: with Rand Paul. I don't want the government to have
- 30:04Speaker 4: the power that they have, right, But that's a different
- 30:07Speaker 4: argument than the one being made. The one being made
- 30:09Speaker 4: is that we don't have it now, and good for
- 30:11Speaker 4: him for making it. Look I support his descent here,
- 30:14Speaker 4: I don't agree with it right now because, and I
- 30:16Speaker 4: say right now, because I think we have a lot
- 30:18Speaker 4: of established precedent teaching us that presidents of every stripe
- 30:25Speaker 4: of every political party have had, at one way, at
- 30:28Speaker 4: one time or another, in one way or another, use
- 30:31Speaker 4: military might in a non active war capacity. It happens, right,
- 30:38Speaker 4: It's just part of being a nation state. And I
- 30:43Speaker 4: don't believe that this was one of those cases. But
- 30:46Speaker 4: Rand Paul is an ideological purist, which I respect the
- 30:49Speaker 4: heck out of and that's his position on this, and
- 30:52Speaker 4: good for him. And it's the same way the grace
- 30:54Speaker 4: that I'm extending to him here, Right, some people don't
- 30:56Speaker 4: want to be so graceful. It's the same grace I
- 30:59Speaker 4: give to Bernie and the rest of those people. They
- 31:02Speaker 4: see things differently than I do. And I could sit
- 31:05Speaker 4: here and go, they're stupid every time? How could you
- 31:06Speaker 4: see it like that? What's wrong with you? Right? I've
- 31:09Speaker 4: got news for you. I happen to believe my own
- 31:13Speaker 4: preconceived notion that communism is a bad thing, to bad
- 31:19Speaker 4: ideology that leads to nothing good. I happen to believe
- 31:24Speaker 4: that the social economic theory known as socialism is also
- 31:31Speaker 4: a bad thing. There are many people who think socialism
- 31:36Speaker 4: is a good thing. That we should all play play,
- 31:40Speaker 4: pay sixty percent sixty five percent in taxes so that
- 31:45Speaker 4: everyone in society can be okay. Why should you make
- 31:49Speaker 4: four hundred k year and that guy only make eighteen thousand.
- 31:54Speaker 4: These are fundamental disagreements that I have. Right, I can
- 31:58Speaker 4: say that you're wrong, but I'd rather just say I disagree,
- 32:02Speaker 4: because the reason I say that is because I do
- 32:05Speaker 4: think it's wrong. But ultimately a You're not gonna get
- 32:08Speaker 4: that much done by telling somebody they're wrong, and b
- 32:11Speaker 4: the person that's wrong may end up one day in
- 32:13Speaker 4: power I e. Mamdani. Then what Right, Then we're gonna
- 32:19Speaker 4: freak out and get scared and go, my god, call Cuomo.
- 32:22Speaker 4: We'll take Cuomo back. He can kill more Grandma's let's
- 32:24Speaker 4: put a Democrat at office. No, no, we got to
- 32:28Speaker 4: stand on what we believe. Ten toes down and keep
- 32:32Speaker 4: it real. Keep a gangster. Come on, we lost, that's it.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Take the l move on. Let him do his COMI thing,
- 32:40Speaker 4: show people the contrast. That's it. There's not much else
- 32:45Speaker 4: we can do about it. If we believe in our system. Right,
- 32:47Speaker 4: you won fair and square, You did your thing. That's it.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 32:50Speaker 4: I could come back and say, yeah, come on, do
- 32:51Speaker 4: you really think he won? I do really think he won? Listen,
- 32:55Speaker 4: you tell me somebody. It's election day. My brother. My
- 32:58Speaker 4: brother's a doorman on Madison Avenue. He wants to vote
- 33:02Speaker 4: on election day. But you know what he wants to
- 33:03Speaker 4: do more than vote on election day. Make sure he
- 33:06Speaker 4: makes it to the f train on time. Make sure
- 33:08Speaker 4: he gets to work on time, sticks with his schedule,
- 33:11Speaker 4: gets to where he's got to go, gets back home
- 33:13Speaker 4: on time. Right, So if it's an inconvenience for my
- 33:17Speaker 4: brother to go and vote, because he's got to do it.
- 33:19Speaker 4: It's a duty and it's a right and now hopefully
- 33:21Speaker 4: it's an honor, but it is an inconvenience. It gets
- 33:23Speaker 4: in the way of his day, of his life in
- 33:26Speaker 4: that day. Right now, let's turn it around and look
- 33:30Speaker 4: at the Mamdani voter. These people spend three hundred and
- 33:33Speaker 4: sixty four days in the streets with Palestinian flags, gay flags,
- 33:40Speaker 4: you name it, whatever the latest victimhood flag is. They're
- 33:45Speaker 4: doing that. They're in the streets. They're having these protests peaceful, right,
- 33:49Speaker 4: mostly peaceful, with rocks and frozen water bottles and all that.
- 33:53Speaker 4: This is what they dedicate their lives to election day.
- 33:57Speaker 4: They live for election day. So yeah, when you tell
- 34:01Speaker 4: me that all these people voted, I believe it. What
- 34:03Speaker 4: else did they have to do? They work from home,
- 34:06Speaker 4: the ones that work, the ones that don't work, they
- 34:08Speaker 4: don't work. This is what they do do. They have children.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Many of them choose not to have children because they're
- 34:14Speaker 4: afraid to bring children into a world where somebody might
- 34:19Speaker 4: you know, have a carbon footprint right, AOC AOC is
- 34:23Speaker 4: afraid to have a kid. She said she's afraid to
- 34:26Speaker 4: bring a kid into this world. She's not alone. I
- 34:28Speaker 4: don't think that's hyperbole from her. I think there's a
- 34:31Speaker 4: lot of people like that. I'm in the dating world
- 34:33Speaker 4: a little bit when I do go out, and I've
- 34:36Speaker 4: met women that are my agents, slightly younger that don't
- 34:40Speaker 4: have children, Women between thirty six and forty seven, that
- 34:44Speaker 4: don't have children, never been married. Imagine that, right, And
- 34:47Speaker 4: it's not a critique. That's just I didn't see that
- 34:50Speaker 4: a few years back, now more prevalent. That's just how
- 34:54Speaker 4: people choose to live their lives. So it doesn't come
- 34:57Speaker 4: as a as a shock to me if somebody's not
- 34:59Speaker 4: had being a kid. It doesn't come as a shock
- 35:01Speaker 4: to me that people are waiting around to go and
- 35:03Speaker 4: vote and dragging everybody they can. And it also doesn't
- 35:05Speaker 4: surprise me if people are cheating their butts off. We've
- 35:07Speaker 4: seen so many cases of that with ballad stuffing and
- 35:11Speaker 4: the like. So anyway, you get the point, right. So
- 35:15Speaker 4: I'm team Rubio all the way. I support Ram Paul
- 35:19Speaker 4: and I think the left sucks. Is that something up right?
- 35:22Speaker 4: I think so. All right, taking a pause right here,
- 35:23Speaker 4: we're coming right back. We're gonna talk a little bit
- 35:25Speaker 4: about this guy who says he's gonna kill Trump and
- 35:27Speaker 4: a couple other things I got up my sleeve. Don't
- 35:29Speaker 4: go anywhere. I'm Rich Veldesk.
- 35:31Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 35:38Speaker 4: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 35:41Speaker 4: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Oh, very good, Rich, The honor is all yours.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 35:58Speaker 4: All right, I mean he goes. Welcome back, Rich Valdes

- 37:03Speaker 4: updates at Richfaldesk on all of the social media. And
- 37:06Speaker 4: I say that I hope that it's actually hitting right.
- 37:10Speaker 4: I hope people are actually going to the social media
- 37:12Speaker 4: and you know, clicking following whatever notifications because this way,
- 37:16Speaker 4: if there is something I want to say, I can
- 37:18Speaker 4: reach you right. All too often, if things happen in
- 37:21Speaker 4: this business that we're in, there are all sorts of
- 37:24Speaker 4: programming changes, right.
- 37:25Speaker 1: You know.
- 37:25Speaker 4: I spent many years on a couple of different radio stations.
- 37:28Speaker 4: I spent the last almost four years on hundreds of
- 37:31Speaker 4: different radio stations. And sometimes they make changes, right, Sometimes
- 37:36Speaker 4: they sell soros about a bunch of those radio stations,
- 37:39Speaker 4: and they make changes, they want to do different things,
- 37:41Speaker 4: they want to go in different directions. I was on
- 37:44Speaker 4: his one legendary station in Chicago, WGN, and they loved
- 37:50Speaker 4: my radio predecessor, Jim O'Hannon, because he was moderate, and
- 37:54Speaker 4: he was very kind, and he was a lot of
- 37:56Speaker 4: things that I was not right. He was very gentlemanly,
- 38:01Speaker 4: and I have a very different approach. Jim is a
- 38:05Speaker 4: newsman and a fifty year veteran on the radio, and
- 38:10Speaker 4: I am a guy that worked in politics and worked
- 38:13Speaker 4: in marketing, and we're different people. So of course my
- 38:17Speaker 4: approach to things is different, and my outlook and my
- 38:20Speaker 4: approach on how I analyze these things is going to
- 38:22Speaker 4: be different. And the WGN audience was very liberal, center left,
- 38:27Speaker 4: and they tolerated Bohannon at night, but they wouldn't tolerate me,
- 38:32Speaker 4: you know. They sent me packing as soon as I could,
- 38:34Speaker 4: and guess what, I landed so nicely there on another
- 38:37Speaker 4: legacy station right across the street, WLS in Chicago. And
- 38:42Speaker 4: let me tell you what it was. One of the
- 38:44Speaker 4: highlights of my radio career is that is being on
- 38:48Speaker 4: both of Chicago's biggest radio stations that both happened to
- 38:52Speaker 4: be centennial stations, legacy radio stations both more than one
- 38:56Speaker 4: hundred years old, that only have three call letters in
- 38:59Speaker 4: their hall sign WGN and WLS. Anyway, just a quick
- 39:04Speaker 4: thought on that. But again, people were freaking out on
- 39:06Speaker 4: WGN said where's Rich, Where's Rich? Where you go? What'd
- 39:09Speaker 4: you do? You know? Meanwhile, I was putting updates saying, hey,
- 39:12Speaker 4: that was on a Friday. Next Monday, we're starting at
- 39:15Speaker 4: nine pm at night or whatever, ten o'clock at night
- 39:18Speaker 4: on on WLS. But yet as much as I was
- 39:21Speaker 4: tweeting about it and putting it on Facebook and making
- 39:24Speaker 4: those mentions, people don't read right. So I want to
- 39:28Speaker 4: urge you. You know, it's not like they're going to
- 39:30Speaker 4: force it into your feed. You're gonna have to take time,
- 39:31Speaker 4: go check out the page, make sure you hit the
- 39:33Speaker 4: little bell notifications. Do what you got to do, right.
- 39:36Speaker 4: I always say, subscribe and turn on the notifications if
- 39:38Speaker 4: you're interested in this program and you want to hear it,
- 39:41Speaker 4: and you like to hear it every day, because you know,
- 39:43Speaker 4: all sorts of things happen, and you never know. There's
- 39:46Speaker 4: upload delays, there's this delay, things happen. So the more
- 39:50Speaker 4: connected you and I are, the better. Matter of fact,
- 39:52Speaker 4: I might start an email list because I think people
- 39:54Speaker 4: still use email. Maybe it's my fault for alying relying
- 39:57Speaker 4: too much on the various social media because that's how
- 39:59Speaker 4: I keep in touch with most of my friends. And
- 40:02Speaker 4: maybe that's something we'll take note of. So to the
- 40:04Speaker 4: production team who's listening, please make note of that to
- 40:07Speaker 4: maybe start an email list so we can start capturing
- 40:10Speaker 4: those emails. And oh, of course your calls are welcomed.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Eight seven to seven val Desk number one, eight seven
- 40:16Speaker 4: seven Valdesk number one. Okay, Now I want to get
- 40:18Speaker 4: into this conversation that is going on with this Attorney
- 40:23Speaker 4: general candidate in Ohio. Now, this guy he's uh, I guess,
- 40:28Speaker 4: but for lack of a better word, truly, right, I
- 40:31Speaker 4: don't think it was a better word. This guy's up
- 40:32Speaker 4: in THEIL. And his name, let's see if I can
- 40:36Speaker 4: find it here? What is his name? Oh man, I
- 40:42Speaker 4: had it right here. Now it's gone farhand something right,
- 40:47Speaker 4: Elliott Farhan forehand fo r h A n foreign All right,
- 40:54Speaker 4: So this is cut number twenty and this is again,
- 40:59Speaker 4: this is what our discourses come to and these things,
- 41:03Speaker 4: in my opinion, should be discouraged on both sides. Right,
- 41:08Speaker 4: If if a Republican were to make these comments that's
- 41:12Speaker 4: running for office, I think President Trump or some other
- 41:16Speaker 4: prominent Republican or the RNC chair or somebody should should
- 41:22Speaker 4: weigh in and say, look, you know, in the nicest way,
- 41:24Speaker 4: I would pick Mike Johnson to make this admonition, right
- 41:28Speaker 4: to say, look, look, look, we appreciate your zeal, we
- 41:31Speaker 4: appreciate their energy. But the bottom line here, right, you
- 41:34Speaker 4: can there's so many ways that you can correct someone
- 41:37Speaker 4: without having to, you know, publicly admonish them and you know,
- 41:41Speaker 4: beat them. It's it's it's fine, but it should happen.
- 41:45Speaker 4: We should say, look, we do not stand for telling
- 41:49Speaker 4: the electorate that we're going to kill the opposition. Right,
- 41:52Speaker 4: And I don't mean using that word figuratively. I mean,
- 41:55Speaker 4: wait till you hear this audio. Then you're gonna say,
- 41:57Speaker 4: what's going on? Now? Something're gonna say, Rich, I thought
- 41:59Speaker 4: you were a free speech I am and in the
- 42:01Speaker 4: same way I'm saying, and in the free speech of
- 42:04Speaker 4: those that are the powers that be, they should say, look,
- 42:07Speaker 4: you're free to say what you want, but I think
- 42:08Speaker 4: you should say this. Check this out.
- 42:12Speaker 7: This is Elia Fourhand, candidate for Ohio Attorney General. I
- 42:16Speaker 7: want to tell you what I mean when I say
- 42:19Speaker 7: that I am going to kill Donald Trump. I mean
- 42:23Speaker 7: I'm going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury
- 42:27Speaker 7: of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a
- 42:31Speaker 7: reasonable doubt, based on evidence presented at a trial conducted
- 42:36Speaker 7: in accordance with the requirements of due process, resulting in
- 42:41Speaker 7: a sentence duly executed of capital punishment. That is what
- 42:46Speaker 7: I mean when I say that I'm going.
- 42:49Speaker 1: To kill Donald Trump.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Now listen again, I think this guy, somebody should say
- 42:55Speaker 4: something to him. Shouldn't be the government, shouldn't be anybody
- 42:59Speaker 4: else saying you can can't say that. He can say
- 43:02Speaker 4: whatever he wills, right, whatever his desire is, he should
- 43:06Speaker 4: say it. But we have the right to say it too.
- 43:09Speaker 4: So I'm going to be the first one to say,
- 43:12Speaker 4: mister Foreand it seems like a low rent strategy to
- 43:15Speaker 4: get your name out there. Not like you want to
- 43:17Speaker 4: be taken seriously as a chief law enforcement official for
- 43:20Speaker 4: any state, Not like somebody that wants to be taken
- 43:23Speaker 4: seriously as a jurists as a state Attorney General. To me,
- 43:28Speaker 4: it seems like you are using a cheap marketing ploy
- 43:32Speaker 4: to try and gain some political points, to either stand out,
- 43:36Speaker 4: to gain and listen, a lot of people are doing it.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Trump is great at this, He says things. It's natural
- 43:41Speaker 4: for him. He knows how to cut through the noise
- 43:43Speaker 4: and get those headlines. There's another candidate in Texas that
- 43:51Speaker 4: she does similar names, Valentina Gomez. She's fascinating to watch, right,
- 43:56Speaker 4: She's very, very creative. I would say, look to take
- 44:01Speaker 4: my own advice. I would say, Valentina, do not go
- 44:05Speaker 4: burning the Koran with a blow torch. But she did,
- 44:08Speaker 4: and it was a social media sensation for a lot
- 44:11Speaker 4: of the people that enjoyed that. I'm gonna say I
- 44:14Speaker 4: think that misses the mark. But that is a central
- 44:16Speaker 4: part of her campaign, so it's on brand for her. Ultimately,
- 44:19Speaker 4: I think that is not the message. But guess what
- 44:24Speaker 4: she's delivering the message she needs to deliver in the
- 44:26Speaker 4: most inescapable way, just like mister Forehand is. So, everybody's
- 44:31Speaker 4: within their rights, within our free speech to do what
- 44:34Speaker 4: they want. Right, they can burn our flags, she can
- 44:36Speaker 4: burn some Korans. I get it. But what I'm saying is,
- 44:40Speaker 4: if we want to attract a civil diffscourse, if we
- 44:44Speaker 4: want to have a conversation where people are willing to
- 44:48Speaker 4: listen to your opposing viewpoint, put the blowtorch down right,
- 44:53Speaker 4: they might actually, you know, instead of running for cover,
- 44:56Speaker 4: they might listen. That doesn't mean it's not effective. From
- 44:59Speaker 4: the marketing standpoint. Her social media is absolutely on fire,
- 45:03Speaker 4: and should she not get elected to Congress, she's gonna
- 45:06Speaker 4: be commenting on politics. I'm pretty sure for a very
- 45:09Speaker 4: long time. She's got a lot to say, and she's
- 45:12Speaker 4: got a lot of courage and a lot of bravery.
- 45:14Speaker 4: And this guyforehand, I wouldn't say he's got courage and bravery.
- 45:18Speaker 4: I would say this is a cheap trick. And the
- 45:21Speaker 4: reason I say that for him and not for her
- 45:25Speaker 4: is because I really think there is substance behind her message,
- 45:28Speaker 4: and I think for him, Trump has done nothing, nothing
- 45:32Speaker 4: to warrant capital punishment. So this guy truly is just
- 45:36Speaker 4: talking smack. It's fake, it's phony, it's fraud. Ms Gomanz
- 45:40Speaker 4: is really talking about the dangers of radical Islam and
- 45:43Speaker 4: how the associated costs of that are weighing heavily on
- 45:48Speaker 4: society and not just in America, right, I mean she's
- 45:50Speaker 4: talking about in Texas, but in real life. I was
- 45:55Speaker 4: at lunch today with a couple of my buddies and
- 45:58Speaker 4: let's see, we were talking about local stories and then
- 46:06Speaker 4: a couple of national stories, and the conversation centered on
- 46:11Speaker 4: current events, and there was so many different opinions on
- 46:16Speaker 4: things on should ill han Omar be deported? And for me,
- 46:21Speaker 4: the question is not should she be deported? I guess
- 46:24Speaker 4: the answer to that for me is if ill hand
- 46:26Speaker 4: Omart is convicted of a crime and she loses her citizenship,
- 46:34Speaker 4: she can be deported. I don't know that any of
- 46:38Speaker 4: those things are true right now. I don't think that
- 46:39Speaker 4: she's lost her citizenship. I don't think she's been convicted
- 46:42Speaker 4: of any crimes. And I don't think she's even really
- 46:44Speaker 4: being considered for deportation because we don't typically deport people
- 46:49Speaker 4: unless there's some serious issue, right, And that would be
- 46:53Speaker 4: a nightmare I think for this administration. Right talk about
- 46:56Speaker 4: swimming upstream. You got to do that when you have
- 47:00Speaker 4: the political will and the win that your wings, and
- 47:04Speaker 4: not when it's against you. And right now, with this
- 47:05Speaker 4: ice stuff, nothing's really going for us right. The economy
- 47:09Speaker 4: would be reported that much better if we didn't have
- 47:12Speaker 4: this big domestic thing going on my opinion, Right, that's
- 47:15Speaker 4: my critique. I think it's a necessary thing, but I
- 47:17Speaker 4: think we got to I would try and clean it up,
- 47:19Speaker 4: and I think they're doing that now. I think that's
- 47:20Speaker 4: why Homan is there. They got Christy nomout because she
- 47:23Speaker 4: likes the cameras and she's good at it. And Greg Bovino, right,
- 47:27Speaker 4: the mean green board tack machine, right, he's out of there.
- 47:31Speaker 4: Homan's also great on camera, but I think he's here
- 47:34Speaker 4: now to bring that professionalism, that pit bull that you know,
- 47:37Speaker 4: I'm not playing. We're going to do what we got
- 47:38Speaker 4: to do. We could do it the hard way, the
- 47:40Speaker 4: easy way, you decide, right, because that's one thing he's
- 47:42Speaker 4: really good at is giving options. So we'll see how
- 47:45Speaker 4: that works out and hopefully nobody else sends up dead.
- 47:48Speaker 4: And again, this is not the result of ICE. I
- 47:49Speaker 4: don't think ICE is killing anybody on purpose. Right, They're
- 47:52Speaker 4: doing what they have to do within their rights and
- 47:54Speaker 4: within the scope of the law. For sure. This is
- 47:57Speaker 4: a political arm twisting that has to happen, in my opinion,
- 48:01Speaker 4: from the White House or whomever has the power to
- 48:04Speaker 4: say to Mayor freyfry and to Governor Wallas, Listen, Tom
- 48:07Speaker 4: and Tim, put the tampons down, show me your hands.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Let's make a deal, right, And we have to make
- 48:13Speaker 4: this deal in order to get the peaceful resolution that
- 48:17Speaker 4: we need. Right, ask what is it that you want?
- 48:19Speaker 4: Trump's so good at making deals, and I think that's
- 48:21Speaker 4: what he's done and that's why things are going smoothly now.
- 48:24Speaker 4: So anyway, those are my thoughts there, but I feel
- 48:28Speaker 4: like I was making a point and I kind of
- 48:29Speaker 4: stopped midway. Anyway, Mayor Frey Frye and the other Bendel,
- 48:34Speaker 4: the guy who wants to kill Trump. These guys are
- 48:37Speaker 4: a sham. They're stupid, and this is not the type
- 48:40Speaker 4: of thing that we need to be focusing on. But
- 48:42Speaker 4: yet it seems like we are dumbing down our public
- 48:46Speaker 4: discourse more and more, right, instead of focusing on real issues,
- 48:50Speaker 4: things that matter. You know, just compare and contrast Marco
- 48:54Speaker 4: Rubio's testimony earlier in front of the Foreign Relation Committee
- 49:00Speaker 4: and then this idiot who's talking about I'm going to
- 49:03Speaker 4: build a capital case against Trump and have him killed.
- 49:07Speaker 4: I mean, clearly, night and day. One guy's up in there.
- 49:09Speaker 4: One guy's a serious person. Understood and listen. I don't
- 49:12Speaker 4: even claim to be a serious person, but I could
- 49:14Speaker 4: tell the difference. Keep it locked right here, coming back,
- 49:16Speaker 4: more to come. I'm Valdez.
- 49:18Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's got the best
- 49:28Speaker 1: head of hair and podcasting. This is America with Rich Valdenz.
- 49:34Speaker 4: All right up, migos, welcome back. It is Rich Valdenis
- 49:37Speaker 4: Valdez with an s at Rich Valdez on all of
- 49:40Speaker 4: the social media. Happy to be here with you. Thank
- 49:44Speaker 4: you for I been seeing a lot of new followers
- 49:45Speaker 4: coming in. So for those of you who are just
- 49:47Speaker 4: starting to follow the program, thank you for those of
- 49:50Speaker 4: you that are sharing the program right. I know a
- 49:51Speaker 4: lot of you via text message. People write me and
- 49:54Speaker 4: they tell me, hey, I got a text from my
- 49:55Speaker 4: friend with a link to your show. Absolutely loved. Thanks
- 49:58Speaker 4: for keeping me company on my way to work and
- 50:00Speaker 4: every day on the way to work or back and
- 50:01Speaker 4: forth whatever. And which is again why I love radio,
- 50:05Speaker 4: and I love streaming, and I love the fact that
- 50:08Speaker 4: people can listen when when they're able to listen. But
- 50:11Speaker 4: nothing is better, and I can't lie on this. Nothing's
- 50:15Speaker 4: better than when we're all listening together. Right when you
- 50:18Speaker 4: turn on a radio and I say something and you
- 50:20Speaker 4: laugh and you call and then you get to talk
- 50:22Speaker 4: to me, that is beautiful. And I love live radio,
- 50:25Speaker 4: and yeah, maybe one day I will continue with my
- 50:29Speaker 4: live radio stuff. But the financial upside that I needed
- 50:34Speaker 4: to be there wasn't quite there the way I wanted
- 50:37Speaker 4: it to be there. And I think, you know, they
- 50:40Speaker 4: wanted a certain level of control over the content that
- 50:43Speaker 4: we create, the videos and the YouTube channel that they
- 50:46Speaker 4: had created, which wasn't really video, right. It was a video,
- 50:50Speaker 4: but it was a static image of me, and I
- 50:52Speaker 4: wanted a real video because it's hard to compete in
- 50:54Speaker 4: the video marketplace when you don't have videos that are
- 50:57Speaker 4: up there. Right, Some people were listening very happily to
- 50:59Speaker 4: the show, but the numbers weren't where they needed to be,
- 51:02Speaker 4: in my opinion, because they needed a video, right like
- 51:04Speaker 4: everybody else that's doing this, you see them talking into
- 51:07Speaker 4: a microphone. And I've always resisted that truth be told
- 51:11Speaker 4: because I feel like there's a degree of magic that
- 51:13Speaker 4: goes with the radio that you have to imagine things right.
- 51:17Speaker 4: You have to use the mind's I what we call
- 51:20Speaker 4: theater of the mind in broadcasting. And I think that's
- 51:24Speaker 4: part of what I love, is that I could do
- 51:26Speaker 4: all these fun things. You know. For example, if I
- 51:30Speaker 4: were to tell a story, and you know me, I'm
- 51:32Speaker 4: full of stories and I wanted to. Earlier, I mentioned
- 51:36Speaker 4: my friends and I were out at lunch, right and
- 51:39Speaker 4: I was there with my buddy Henry, another friend of mine, Kalani,
- 51:41Speaker 4: another friend of mine Anthony. And if I were to,
- 51:46Speaker 4: you know, use my my impressions to recreate this thing,
- 51:53Speaker 4: it would sound like this. So rich, Joe, what do
- 51:56Speaker 4: you think about ilhan Omar? I think they're gonna lock
- 51:59Speaker 4: her up and throw away to key. What do you think?
- 52:00Speaker 4: And I, well, you know, Henry, I think that I
- 52:03Speaker 4: think that they don't have much of a case on
- 52:05Speaker 4: il hand Omar. If they did, they wouldn't be talking
- 52:08Speaker 4: about it. They would be bringing it. That's my personal belief.
- 52:11Speaker 4: I think that it's always good to have a foil, right.
- 52:14Speaker 4: I don't have any case against AOCI, but I'm always
- 52:16Speaker 4: gonna say, ah, see all lot crazy, my least favorite
- 52:19Speaker 4: congressman for the Bronx and Queens, because having a foil
- 52:21Speaker 4: on my show is great radio. So you know it.
- 52:26Speaker 4: Trumpito does politics like he does radio, and he has
- 52:30Speaker 4: a foil in illen omar oh ill end. She should
- 52:34Speaker 4: be deported. She married her brother. Really bad people, bad ombres.
- 52:38Speaker 2: You know.
- 52:39Speaker 4: He's terrific at that. So he loses all of that
- 52:43Speaker 4: if he doesn't have this person. Right. But as long
- 52:46Speaker 4: as you get to keep talking about it, you've got
- 52:49Speaker 4: material that you can use in front of the crowd
- 52:51Speaker 4: that you're talking to. So I think that that is,
- 52:54Speaker 4: you know, And that was the response I gave him.
- 52:56Speaker 4: Then my buddy Anthony, He's said, no, you crazy, rich,
- 52:58Speaker 4: just not how it is. It's not like that. It's
- 53:00Speaker 4: not like that at all. She's going to jail, she should.
- 53:02Speaker 4: You just got to follow the money. I say, all right, well,
- 53:05Speaker 4: maybe they do need to follow the money, right. And
- 53:09Speaker 4: then then my buddy Colin, he said, well, you know,
- 53:12Speaker 4: maybe maybe, but I think you might be right. If
- 53:15Speaker 4: they had something on they probably locked her up already.
- 53:18Speaker 4: I think you're right. So I could not have re
- 53:21Speaker 4: enacted that conversation on video as well as I just did,
- 53:26Speaker 4: because you couldn't see me making all these voices, right,
- 53:30Speaker 4: And that's the theory of the mind that I'm talking about.
- 53:33Speaker 4: That I love what comes at audio, whereas when you
- 53:37Speaker 4: see me doing it, you lose. You know, It's like
- 53:39Speaker 4: watching the magician from from backstage. It's not as good
- 53:43Speaker 4: as watching the magician from you know, the front row.
- 53:46Speaker 4: That's the point I'm making. Anyway, what's next on my
- 53:49Speaker 4: hit parade? Here? There's two more things I wanted to
- 53:52Speaker 4: talk about. Bear with me, Bear with me. We're extremely
- 53:56Speaker 4: prepared here. All right, here we go. I have the
- 54:00Speaker 4: next clip lined up. I don't really have a line up.
- 54:02Speaker 4: I'm about to line it up for you. Oh, this
- 54:04Speaker 4: is it. So you know, part of my career I
- 54:07Speaker 4: did some weekends and even some weekdays recently. Earlier this year,
- 54:11Speaker 4: twenty twenty six, I did a couple of afternoon drive
- 54:14Speaker 4: shows for my friends at WPHT. And there's always a
- 54:20Speaker 4: lot to talk about in Philly because a crime is
- 54:23Speaker 4: through the roof, and b they have this horrible George
- 54:27Speaker 4: Soros type of prosecutor named Larry Krassner. Larry Krasner yesterday
- 54:34Speaker 4: said some crazy stuff about ice officers that I thought, man,
- 54:38Speaker 4: even for Krasner, this is beyond the pale. Listen to this.
- 54:42Speaker 6: This is a small bunch of wanna be Nazis. That's
- 54:46Speaker 6: what they are in our country of three hundred and
- 54:49Speaker 6: fifty million, we outnumber them. If we have to hunt
- 54:54Speaker 6: you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades,
- 55:00Speaker 6: we will find your identities, we will find you, we
- 55:04Speaker 6: will achieve justice.
- 55:06Speaker 4: So Marco Rubio, he's like, yeah, I think you know,
- 55:10Speaker 4: we're not gonna do the regime change in Cuba, but
- 55:11Speaker 4: I think we should have regime changing in Cuba. Right,
- 55:13Speaker 4: he said that, He said lots of things very eloquently.
- 55:15Speaker 4: Then you've got this guy forehand that says, yeah, I'm
- 55:18Speaker 4: gonna kill Trump, and I'm gonna kill him by locking
- 55:20Speaker 4: them up and killing them in a capital punishment scenario
- 55:23Speaker 4: with a conviction. And now you've got Krasner saying, these
- 55:26Speaker 4: guys are a bunch of Nazis and the Ice agents.
- 55:28Speaker 4: We're gonna track you down just like they track down.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Then who's the authoritarian here? Who is the autocrat? You
- 55:34Speaker 4: tell me if there's not a trend on the left
- 55:37Speaker 4: with the Democrats and the way they talk about Republicans.
- 55:39Speaker 4: And then you listen to how Republicans talk, and they're
- 55:41Speaker 4: talking about solutions, they're talking about ideas, they're talking about
- 55:44Speaker 4: making America great again. And while they're creating a picture
- 55:47Speaker 4: for what they think that should look like, the Democrats
- 55:50Speaker 4: are just so when was America ever great to begin with?
- 55:52Speaker 7: Pal?
- 55:53Speaker 4: I mean, how do you have these conversations many In
- 55:55Speaker 4: many ways you can't have them. You can try, which
- 55:57Speaker 4: is what I try to do on a daily basis,
- 56:00Speaker 4: but I also realize, Look, there's certain people you can't
- 56:02Speaker 4: talk to when you have people that are caught up
- 56:04Speaker 4: in the emotionality of things. And whether this guy is
- 56:07Speaker 4: doing this because he wants to use this strong, harsh
- 56:10Speaker 4: rhetoric to evoke emotion, because he knows exactly what it'll
- 56:14Speaker 4: do to people, or because he truly SIPs that kool
- 56:17Speaker 4: aid and believes that Ice officers are Nazis putting Jews
- 56:22Speaker 4: in ovens. I mean, I feel bad for the guy.
- 56:25Speaker 4: The guy's nuts, but whatever the case is, it's stupid.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Again within his riots, he's the top cop in Philly.
- 56:33Speaker 4: He gets to decide who gets locked up and who doesn't.
- 56:35Speaker 4: Elections have consequences, for sure. Obama taught us that one.
- 56:39Speaker 4: But man, should we have something called integrity? Should we
- 56:43Speaker 4: have something called an internal locust of control where we
- 56:48Speaker 4: decide what's right and wrong? In our lives, and perhaps
- 56:52Speaker 4: he does have one and he's decided that was right. Again.
- 56:55Speaker 4: This is why I say the people that disagree with us,
- 56:58Speaker 4: because I could tell him they're wrong, and they'll just
- 57:00Speaker 4: tell me, Nope, you're wrong, Nope, you're wrong, and it's
- 57:02Speaker 4: a pointless debate that doesn't get anywhere. To me. You
- 57:06Speaker 4: just got to get to the people that are willing
- 57:08Speaker 4: to have the conversation, and sometimes it's more than one conversation.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 57:12Speaker 4: It's why, thankfully I do this thing five days a week.
- 57:16Speaker 4: I understand there was a problem with the Monday show,
- 57:19Speaker 4: so it'll eventually load. I don't know what happened there,
- 57:22Speaker 4: and that was a glitch or something with the snow,
- 57:24Speaker 4: but anyway, that's just a quick programming note. Bottom line here.
- 57:30Speaker 4: We have to be responsible for ourselves. We have to
- 57:33Speaker 4: live our life according to the things that we believe
- 57:36Speaker 4: are right and wrong, not the things that others believe
- 57:40Speaker 4: are right and wrong. Right, that's just facts. Otherwise, how
- 57:46Speaker 4: else does it work. I'm gonna sit here and go, well,
- 57:48Speaker 4: they poked my eye out. Oh, then eye for an eye?
- 57:51Speaker 4: What's the old saying? If everybody does an eye for
- 57:53Speaker 4: an eye, we're gonna have a blind society. Nobody's gonna
- 57:55Speaker 4: have any eyes left. Somebody's got to take the high road.
- 57:59Speaker 4: Somebody's got you know, follow christ say turn the other cheek,
- 58:03Speaker 4: or how about turn the other cheek because I don't
- 58:05Speaker 4: want to hear this. I'm out of here. Whatever your approaches,
- 58:10Speaker 4: we can't continue to fight, right, is what Charlie Kirk
- 58:13Speaker 4: talked about. He said, let's talk, because the minute we
- 58:15Speaker 4: stopped talking, that's when the fighting begins. That's civil war,
- 58:19Speaker 4: all right. I mean he goes, coming right back our
- 58:21Speaker 4: final segment, don't go anywhere.
- 58:23Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 58:36Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez. All right.
- 58:42Speaker 4: I mean he goes, welcome back. And if you didn't
- 58:45Speaker 4: hear my interview with White House Economic Advisor Steve Moore,
- 58:50Speaker 4: who is one of the guys who architected the big
- 58:53Speaker 4: beautiful bill tax cut program, make sure you check it out.
- 58:56Speaker 4: That was last night, So comes next on your if
- 59:00Speaker 4: you are catching up, but very good conversation. I want
- 59:04Speaker 4: to recommend that you listen to it, and I'll be
- 59:06Speaker 4: bringing more guests on. I got to tell you I
- 59:08Speaker 4: got into this business doing a talk show, mainly by myself.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 59:12Speaker 4: That was what Mark Levin taught me, because Mark told
- 59:15Speaker 4: me that he was taught by Rush. You don't need callers,
- 59:19Speaker 4: you don't need guests. You just do your show. Just
- 59:25Speaker 4: give them your thoughts. You are the show. And that
- 59:29Speaker 4: was how I came up in this business, right, and
- 59:31Speaker 4: in the biggest market in America is where I cut
- 59:33Speaker 4: my teeth on talk radio. I had to quickly realize
- 59:37Speaker 4: if I'm going to hold the attention of an audience
- 59:40Speaker 4: for a full hour, right, a full hour of live
- 59:43Speaker 4: air and my voice, and I better have a lot
- 59:46Speaker 4: of interesting things to say, or things that at least
- 59:48Speaker 4: are interesting, entertaining and informative. And that's how I learned
- 59:53Speaker 4: how to do radio. And then I had this opportunity
- 59:56Speaker 4: to host the nationally syndicated show on Westwood One, and
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: this was fantastic. This was a show that was once
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Larry King's show and then Jim Bohannon's show, and Jim
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: kept the format that Larry had with you know, an
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: our long guest in the first hour, hour long guest
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: in the second hour, and then the third hour being
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: open phone in America, right, And I love that until
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: they you know, changed our clock a little bit, and
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: then we had to kind of modify each hour because
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: they were not always running in succession, and every hour
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: had to be, you know, two or three segments of
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: a guest followed by a segment of open phone America
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: at the end of the hour, and I got used
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: to that after a while. But I did love the
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: straight hour of calls because it was just like, here's
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: what's going on in America at night, right. It really
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: was fantastic to get that perspective. Plus that hour used
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: to be from midnight to one am, so it was
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: really late night and it was different. But either way,
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: my point is, as you know, we grew with radio stations.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Each year, we added dozens each year, we had earlier slots,
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: And the point I'm making is I loved that. I
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: love that, but it took me a long time to
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: get used to doing the interviews because I got into
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: radio and podcasting at the same time, and podcasting was
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: me sharing my thoughts kind of like I'm doing now,
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: you know, having this conversation with you guys. And then
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: it was radio, and then it was more interactive with
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: phone calls and whatnot. And then when I integrated with
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: allowing others to share my platform right to me stop
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: talking and start listening. That was a nuance for me
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: that I had to get used to and I enjoyed
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: as well, because Mark always said, look, listen, Richie, if
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: you're going to bring a guest, to make sure they
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: know more than you, because if you could say something
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: better than they can, then they don't need to be
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: on your show. And I said, you know what, Mark,
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: You're right. It's one hundred percent right. So I try
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: to follow that model to bring you people that I
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: think are the best guests possible, that will give you
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: something of value that you're gonna walk away with something
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: saying wow, I didn't know that, and I learned a
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: lot here. So that's what I intend to do. So
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: some of you looking for guests, we'll have more of them.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: You know, we have a lot of our regulars that
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: should be coming back. I just haven't called them, Honestly,
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: I've been catching up getting a lot of my thoughts
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: out there. Anyway. That's all I wanted to say. A
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: star Aproshima, make sure you stand for something, because if
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything. And the
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: people like you to sit there and do nothing. So
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: do something. Take care, good night, and God bless you America.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: I'm rich Valdez and this is America.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: This is America.
