Trooper Hurt in Work Zone Collision | Richmond News
A Virginia State Trooper was injured Monday night in a chain collision on I-95 during a work zone, after a speeding Toyota Camry slammed into a VDOT vehicle, which then struck the trooper’s patrol car—still with lights flashing. The Camry’s driver, from North Carolina, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with reckless driving, while the VDOT worker and trooper (released with back pain) were otherwise unharmed.
