- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football freeze, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographical location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's a state of being.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_03]: My little podcast, it's the aftermath episode.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Chad Jensen with me, Mr. Producer himself, returned to the mic, Scott Kennedy.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, thanks for making time tonight.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_03]: Brother, great to have you on the, on the mic.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_03]: And look, yesterday was our gut reaction, not only to the results of the game, but you guys saw in real time how literally, like, it was a slobber knocker.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_03]: Like I was, what?
- 0:45[SPEAKER_03]: What, what Zach had to repeat it like 30 times my brain was not catching up.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_03]: What was your reaction to it?
- 0:51[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, how are you feeling about it now?
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, you know, one day removed that it was some parody account that that some that I was like we were being pumped on it, you know.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: I have some experience, this is a long time ago, but I actually had a broken ankle and it didn't bother me for like a week when I was a kid.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: And in the middle of the night, I'm just screaming, we're out of town and it turns out we go to the hospital and yeah, he's got a broken ankle.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's been like four days.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just, it's amazing to me.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I always get so frustrated when an answer says to me, we're not gonna speculate, but no, he got up and walked off that appears to be a good sign.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: He walked off under his own power.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't mean anything, especially with ligaments.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I broke in my ankle twice actually and one I didn't even know I broke it until while later.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: And the other time my hobbled off and was pissed off and I'm like, I'll see all in six weeks.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: I bought my hobbled off the, yeah, yeah, so I could feel and said, I'll see all in six weeks that, that, then I threw out an x-foot of that SOB just broke my ankle in six weeks before you're, you're, you're back out there, but it's a pretty easy recovery, which trains me those that, you know, what do you do that
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: So quickly, I mean, why are you getting surgery on your ankle, if it's a fracture?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that, I mean, you set it cast it and go.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: So that's, that's a little, the whole thing's just a little, not weird like the set of weird.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's just just a freak injury.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and it's just, and you know, my reaction to the whole thing is it just sucks.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: And part of my reaction on this is,
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: The, the England Patriots could go to the Super Bowl and win it.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: And we still might not have any idea if they are worth a damn.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, I mean, clear the deck.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, my reaction today is, if the Patriots are counting on five turnovers from Jared stood him in the Denver Broncos to win in Denver, forget it ain't going to happen.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: They'll play the the Broncos will play much smarter, much more conservative than that.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: And they've got a defense to back it up to.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_03]: very true very true my heart still breaks for bone next just going back and watching some of the stuff like the post game you know we're learning about this 45 minutes after the final gun and you can go back a lot of it's on my Twitter a lot of it's on my whole hotel twitter account but like just seeing him as there about as will lots is about to try to outscot to kick that game winner and he's standing there with this QB brother and in Davis web and
- 3:11[SPEAKER_03]: Sit in there and you could see him trying kind of test it like he's trying to convince himself He's okay, he tries and test it and then he tests it a little too hard And you can see him just wins in like absolute pain and yet then he goes out Does that interview with Tracy Wolves in a midfield and you could even see it then knowing only from the future what he knew then
- 3:32[SPEAKER_03]: that there was one little moment during that conversation with Wolfson where you see him kind of touches, hadn't realizing when he's thinking about the AFC championship game, I might not be there in fact I'm probably.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: Instinctually we kind of know Scott right like when something happens to our body like sometimes we can be impervious to things but most of the time when it's serious like our intuition tells us and I think it was clear so my heart breaks for him because look was
- 4:02[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_03]: just such a football tragedy.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's football, so let's not call it or tragedy tragedy within the scope of this is entertainment, but just tragic.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: No, but from a personal perspective, you know, this is what we put our fandom into.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: This is how we spend a lot of our free time and for him from a professional standpoint, being a football player has been most of his life.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he does.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so to get him there, they wouldn't be there without him, and if Jared stood them, two things for Jared stood them,
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: lots of things on Jared that I'm too just right now.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: If he gets him there one, he's going to have a whole lot of money because I think he's a free agent after this year and if he goes once two games in the Super Bowl, he's going to become a coveted free agent.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's got one more you.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: They were just barely.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, I couldn't remember.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: They did sign a three year deal, didn't they?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_03]: No, he signed a two, he signed a two year in 23, then they resigned a budget last year.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: Apologies.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was a free agent.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: Apologies.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: So that's good for that.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you get a nice, but exactly, I was
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: But it's nice having those assets, right?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: Davis Mills, and the other part of it is, is if the Broncos do go on to win it under jerseys, then I'm Bo Nick should celebrate as if he was out there at the exact same time, because it wouldn't be there without him.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt about it.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's a big part of it.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_03]: There's a part of me that as the fan about to grab David here, but as a fan, there's like that part of me that if they go all the way and just beat the odds and win it with a backup quarterback, how a rating that's going to be obviously just as a fan of the Broncos, but there's going to be an aspect of it that would be slightly.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know hollow an aspect only because one of the guys isn't there, but that's me count and chickens I was like I'd like to find out.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, find out how bad will feel I love the Super Bowl.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: I love to have that feeling.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: Let's but this is just so hard for me We want it.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: We want us to be purple and Bonax wasn't playing.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's not even count
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_03]: That's not even so much data.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's easy.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm the background.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, after I've been covering the Falcons again, professionally for five years and what a circus show they are.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, I'm just, I'm just rollin' my eyes.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, text to my friend, you should hear what these guys are saying about the Broncos and the pain they have felt for the last 10 years.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, that's a thousand, like, 10 good years.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: And they're 60 year history, spoiled brats.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it'd be so hollow.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: Bow was it out there to win the Super Bowl.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: What's a Super Bowl?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: There's an aspect like I don't know what it is like it would feel I know almost is I mean complete I don't know it's so hard to explain but let's grab a date and he's in his past 25 26 years old you know He's he's not 30 six years old true
- 6:49[SPEAKER_03]: Many moons, many games.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_03]: This won't be the first time he advances.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: David, brother, thank you for being patient.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for the Super Chat, too, Big Dog.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_03]: And also real quick, guys.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, and sorry for those that we kind of left hanging on the Super Chats.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think there's a little bit of a miscue.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_03]: I was hoping Zach would get them after I dipped off last night, but we had our wires crossed.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll make it up to you guys, trust on that.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_03]: David says, Pat's Advantage?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos O'Line is still intact and still have the best head coach in the league, and our defense is still one of the best advantage Denver.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they're at home.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_03]: The biggest difference like Bow is a playmaker he can create.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_03]: There's that aspect to his gain that, you know, we haven't seen a lot of that from Jared Stitham and his four starts, but the one thing Scott that worries me the most about what it'll look like.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_03]: with steady and not bow is just simply the clutch gene like you just kind of believe like even Mike McGlint she said after the last night's game before any of the players had any clue what was going on with bow that in that final possession in the fourth quarter four minutes and change and they had to get a touchdown and feel go would not suffice that they were all like yeah okay let's get out there we got bow let's see what happens like bow can make it happen
- 8:01[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just that clutch gene Scott that I worry about, but at the same time his point here about the defense, those takeaways were great.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_03]: Don't give me wrong, like, holy cow, it's not easy to get five takeaways in a playoff game, but guys, they didn't make the bills punt.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_03]: They either got points or they turned the ball over, like, what do you make of that Scott?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: You're playing a Josh Allen lead offense that is Uber aggressive.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, they're either gonna get their big plays and move the ball in chunks.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: Or, you know, once you especially want you adjusted to the run, or they're going to make mistakes.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they made mistakes.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you don't want to catch them on a day when they're hot.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: When they're not making mistakes is when they run you out of the building.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: But it is it's a high risk, high reward type of offense at the time and frankly,
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: The way their wide receiver core was, they played an amazing game to make that a game.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, no doubt.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: The guys that they're running out there are, you know, waiver wire, pick up some practice squad guys and Josh Allen who, just, his arm level is, is so amazing.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when we just talk about, okay, watch the arm talent.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he makes throws it.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: maybe five quarterbacks that most can make, including one that's playing tonight.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: And you see it, but there's so much more to the game than that.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I say that quarterback is probably the hardest position to scout, because it relies so much on things you cannot measure.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: Most of this game is height weight speed, 40-time explosiveness,
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: Agility scores, et cetera, et cetera.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: If I've got a guy that's six, six, two, 60 runs a four, five, and has a four-one shuttle with a 30 vertical leap, odds are, he's going to be a pretty good football player.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, I was just watching, I was just scrolling through X, and it was like, oh, yeah, remember this throw, this may have been the best throw in NFL history.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, Anthony Richardson.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he doesn't know how to play the position.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's got a, he's, he's,
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: a ten on like four different positions on relative athletic score, but he didn't know how to play the position.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: So, and in some of that, what's nice is you've got Jared Stitham who's been out there, but I saw someone post today and appreciate you David.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for, thank you for the super chat that the Broncos of the only team in the NFL who's back up didn't take up didn't throw a pass this year.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: That seems
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's uh, you know, but that's also a good thing that that just means that they're the only ones who's quarterback state healthy all year, because quarterbacks don't substitute that often in this league.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's very rarely like, oh, we're up by 40 points.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: Let's throw in the number two that rarely happens in this league.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: So it's both healthy up until the second the last play of the division around.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_03]: Sam Brother, thank you for jumping in and for the generous super chat.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: My brother, great to see one of our Mount Rushmore superstars and deer members saying, hi guys, wow, what an incredible nerve-racking, heart pounding gain yesterday.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly, and then you get served that crap burger news almost an hour after your triumph.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_03]: You know, then he says, the Broncos are going to the AFC Championship game, unfortunate about bow, but I believe Sean Payton will have steady fully prepared for next week against the Pats.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_03]: Go Broncos.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, I do too.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: I'm confident that it's going to look all right.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm confident that the Broncos are going to be able to hang in there offensively, steady will move the ball.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, the only thing that gives me any doubts is, you know, if this is a close
- 11:40[SPEAKER_03]: is can steady conjure some mile high magic on the same level that Bo has with such astounding whack job consistency.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the flip side of this, though, also, is Ken Drake.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I mean, we don't, we don't know that much about him.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he was, he was okay today.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: But he wasn't, he wasn't the reason they won that game.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: CJ Stroudme had been the reason why the New England Patriots won the game.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Drake's really good.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't bring up memories to me of Joe Montana coming up.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: And when I was a kid, Joe had the ball, you were losing.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: That was just the way it was.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: So again, if you're counting on five turnovers from the Broncos to win the game on the road in Denver, you're not gonna win the game.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: So again, it's just what a season to be
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: I've said it a zillion times on my podcast and talking to me all.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's a great team out there.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't, I still feel like this Broncos team was a year away.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was supposed to be where you had a schedule y'all.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Last year was, get both is experienced.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, you made the playoffs.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: This year was, make the playoffs.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: Let's throw a 10 and set it on.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, you went number one seed, you were 14 and three.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: Next year was the year.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: You know, so I feel like this team is ahead, but you know what?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody else is taking a step back to and it's wide open.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's wide open.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: You've got a really good head coach, really good special teams, really good defense, and a really good quarterback.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's going to win you a lot of games.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, one of those is out now.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now you're going to have to rely on the rest of things.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully the running game will pick it up just a little bit.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: And count on some of your veteran receivers.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: that I'm will find Sutton, I think Sutton's going to be a big part of this next game.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: I do too.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm good to see you, brother.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, buddy.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: I do too, by the way.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: I think Sutton's about to make up for some lost time, some lost opportunities to really make an impact, but, you know, the same kind of storyline Scott, we were talking about.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_03]: It didn't really set in for me what I'm about to say, relative to Beau,
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: Until today after kind of the dust settled, but the same kind of things I was saying last week about Josh Allen's motivation, like finally he's in the playoff, he doesn't have to worry about Lamar, no my homes, no Joe burrow like this is his wide open shot if he's ever going to get one.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_03]: That finally getting over the hump and then he runs into bonus in the Broncos and bow you're looking at it like you said so many of those Lynch pin AFC teams took a step back You got all these second year teams both in the AFC and the NFC.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, look at what the bears are doing right now And so it's like man bow triums he gets over the hump to go to the AFC championship game so to speak the home and ends up not not gonna be able to go the distance and to me that's another thing where it's like man
- 14:33[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos still cannot let this opportunity slip through their fingers because there is no my homes.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_03]: There is no Lamar.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: There is no burrow.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_03]: You're going up against a second-year guy who, yes, he's kind of proving himself a little bit more in these playoffs and Drake may, but he only played two games against plus 500 teams in the regular season.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_03]: So now to his credit, Scott counting playoffs, he's three in one Drake may against plus 500 teams.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_03]: But man, it's still a great,
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: Scott for for the Broncos with even without both it is but the thing is that I think there's a little bit of a changing in the guard where you know the Patriots won what three and then it was ten years before they won another one because you know you you you're up on that level well there were some teams that were up on that level that were could have been I feel like it's Michael Jordan time you know that my homes kept a lot of guys from getting rings in the AFC that were
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: you know, well, they've taken a step back and it was going to take a little bit time for them to rebuild their roster.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's the way the NFL wants it.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to draft lower.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to lose your top guys to salary cap.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_02]: You only have 53 guys in your roster.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's forced parity.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_02]: No, so that's the way it's supposed to be.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_02]: Your windows only going to be there for so long.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_02]: And then these new guys, if things work the way they're supposed to, are going to come after you, including the Broncos.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: The
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: of their window right now.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, I still think they're a year ahead of schedule.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: They're at the beginning of this.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: We said a set of before.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: They're doing all this with another $35 million Russell Wilson money on there.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: What's 35 million?
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: Do if I got, if I went and looked at spot rack right now and set the line at $6 million, let's call it $36 million.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be six players at $6 million a piece.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: I bet there's only eight players with a cap hit above $6 million.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what it's like.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's people, you spend so much money at the top of things that you forget.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that what that money can actually do for your depth.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: True.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm going to set the over under at nine.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: Nine.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: And if I had Denver on six million dollars, Capit, it's a little more than that.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: There's been a little bit more than that.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: There's actually 15.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: Including Jared Stittham.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_02]: right.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: Jared Stone is a well paid backup for reason.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: Tom earned your money.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: He made.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't have to throw a pass this year.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: He made $8 million.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: Tom earned your money.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: Tom earned that.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, lots more we got to get to tonight including your comments that we haven't checked with the members yet.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_03]: We got more super chats.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to get to you here shortly.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_03]: But guys,
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: playoffs continue on and underdog remains the best place to get in on all that action time to get off the bench and into the game head over to underdog download the app and by the way, it's not just football, whether you're into basketball, hockey, any sport in between underdog is the best place to get in on that action all season long.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: Playing on underdog is easy.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: Just pick whether your favorite players will go higher or lower on stats like rushing yards.

- 18:46[SPEAKER_03]: I'm calling the hope line in New York.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm doing.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we need some hope here in New York.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: Eric Holt, good to see you.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: He says, I really hate the news for Bowie's coming with a super chat.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, my friend.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_02]: But back up, QBs have won the Super Bowl before.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Jeff Haussettler, Kurt Warner.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: We're back up technically showing the history back up QBs, but I believe in Jared Stitham let's go Broncos.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and the one that hit me originally was like, was Nick Folls.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: Was Carson Wentz to start around that team that was Nick Folls.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_03]: It came out of the headquarters as a way.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_03]: So Wentz got him about three quarters of the way.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_03]: Folls took him the last couple, two, three games of the regular season and into the playoffs.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and you know what what what's the what's the key there defense and running game?
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: And it's it's not out of the question.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the quarterback is the most important position in sports, other than maybe a dominant number one starting pitcher, but it's it's not the only one out there.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: And I could said, Stenom's got a good contract for a reason.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, John Peyton handpicked this guy and has kept him around for a reason.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, we've said before, you know,
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, just be a game manager.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: Somehow game manager became a bad word.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I'll take a game manager, manage the game, manage the clock, manage the turnovers, manage the down and distance.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_02]: And you can win this game, they'll doubt my mind.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the hostile, there's a little bit closer.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's hostile, there's such was a little bit closer to what the full thing was in 2017.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_03]: Warner.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he was a backup, but he started regular season week one because Tran Green got hurt in the, but anyway, it's semantics.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_03]: The point is backups have gone the distance and there are several several instances.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, let's maintain our confidence guys.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos are still the one seed.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_03]: Again, it's for me it's going to be the clutch factor can Jarrett make the same level kind of plays when it matters most that Bo has shown a pension for and then the only other thing and I'm not trying to throw water cold water on this I'm just saying just voicing some issues to watch for potentially is
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: Bo was the least sack quarterback in the NFL for a reason.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just his offensive line.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: He's a tough sack, so can Jared Stidham maximize his well-scot that excellent protection for the most part that the Broncos O'Line provides, the well-paid O'Line, and avoid those sacks slash negative plays.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: If thank you, Eric, got nods coming in too.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you, Nosh.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you were doing well.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Miss you, the series has brothers incredible feeling to be back where we belong.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: So proud of the team, bow in the fourth quarter is irreplaceable.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: Then don't let it come down in the fourth quarter, right?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: Feel awful for him and wish him a speedy recovery.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: We really need JK Dobbins back.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go get this.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: If JK Dobbins comes back,
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: what are we expecting really the guys been out for a while was it was a torn bicep so he's been able to do his legwork knows the designer fascia yeah see that's the thing you know i mean what can i if he's back what can i really expect from him
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm not expecting the world out of a guy that's been out for as long as he's been out.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: You know, find our James space.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's pretty good.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: Hold on to the ball.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: You got a couple lucky bounces.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, first in the last game.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: And it wasn't just him.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to put one on the ball, too.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, put one on the ground too.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: So you had a few lucky bounces there, hold on to the ball.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this one, this one comes out, you know, someone's coming.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: There's a Patriots person in here.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: I just happen to notice as the Broncos had five turnovers.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: Two, how does that help them?
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: If they're count on five turnovers, then you can't expect a win the game.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and there's,
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: Both these teams got lucky in a sense.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: And like I've said, I don't think anybody's great right now.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: If anybody plays a nice clean game with the two deepens is out there, they're going to win it.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's no juggernaut out there in the AFC right now.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_02]: There's there's a couple of flawed teams.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_03]: Well, Drake may did put the ball in the ground a lot today for what it's worth.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_03]: So like if you're the Patriots, no offense to you, my friend, Patriots fan that's in the chat coming against or going against a team like the Broncos defense that's coming off the five takeaway game.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit of a concern, but obviously,
- 23:15[SPEAKER_03]: Big part of that today Scott was the weather and then of course the insane edge rush that the Texans do have But the Broncos can replicate some of that maybe not as dominant as those two edges in Houston But pretty dang close especially Jonathan Cooper can kind of pull his head out and get back to playing the kind of ball that he should But no, his brother.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_03]: I'm with you.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos are back where they belong.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be hard replacing both fourth quarter magic But as Scott said
- 23:42[SPEAKER_03]: You don't think Sean Peyton knows that.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's rare, that kind of clutch ability.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos are, hey, Patriots are no joke, all right?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: But Broncos' best path to victory is to try and make it not a close game with under eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_03]: He's years said then done, especially Scott the way all these games so far in the playoffs have shaken out, which as I think actually, point-stored Scott's main opinion on that that there isn't
- 24:12[SPEAKER_03]: legit juggernaut in this playoff tournament on me in either conference.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's wide open, but the Broncos are the one seed for a reason and steady go get her done.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, and I think the best team right now, and I thought this going into it, not just with, you know, the results from the weekend, because Sam just go just ran out of bodies.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_02]: I still think it was amazing what they were able to accomplish, what they did, based on the person all that they had and lost throughout the season.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: But I think Seattle's the best team, and we all are just kind of sit back and wait for Sam Darnold to have one of these games.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, if he can, if he can just, he didn't have a great year.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: He was like a 25 to 13 touchdown interception ratio.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: He was okay, but not, you know, amazing.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: If he can lean on your running aim and your defense and not turn the ball over, I think Seattle's probably the best team there in the teams
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: but you just never know.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_02]: It was same, it's Arnold.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you go and you look at his boxboard, you're like,
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, oh man, three touchdowns, older sessions, four touchdowns, one of your sessions, so touchdowns, three interceptions.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: What would this come from?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just, you just never know what's sand on it.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's a little scary.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: What we do know though, Shannon Mills and I haven't gotten to say thank you.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure that I've been on here when you've become such a regular.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a chance for me, I see you coming every night basically and the huge support.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: She says good evening.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Broncos have dealt with adversity all season and this latest blow will be the catalyst for some major inspired football next week and especially from guys like bulls and Benito and Shannon that I didn't hear y'all talk about it last night.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to talk about it.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'll banged up with Sir Tan.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Sir Tan, there was some doubt where, you know, he went out and came back in, but he might not have played that whole game at a hundred percent, and they're not going to tell you that, you know, Sean Payton's not going to tell you that, they don't want, you know, we don't want to change anything, but, you know, Sir Tan was out there battling through it as well.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, you lose, um, Brandon Jones, who's been playing in a pro bowl level since he's been a Denver Bronco, you know, the, the, the, the
- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: You've lost offensive linemen, bend powers, the center.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_02]: You've lost, did you ever really have of an engrim?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's sheer.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: Lost running back.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good question.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: You faced a lot of adversity this year.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: And you keep on winning.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: And to me, it goes back to, I've joked around, and this goes way back from Broncos for breakfast.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: And Sean Payton is not a lovable guy.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: you know, he's just not hard to love.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, but he is one, but you love him when he's your coach.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, you know, from the outside looking in the guys, an unlikable person.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I've kind of said that what I've kind of said here recently is he was going to win this thing.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are going to win it because if Sean Payton's not the devil, they're on a first name basis.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: So you got Sean Payton and go back to when he was hired.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I got feisty with people that we're talking about him not being worth the first round draft pick.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: First and second, well, it was really the first that everybody was talking about because you know, as we were speculating and cost you first round draft pick.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's insane for a coach.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: You guys overvalue saying y'all Shannon.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: As folks, the hope of what a first round draft pick of what this draft pick could and couldn't have been the next big thing.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Payton is that guy, though, he's worth it.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: There's very few first round draft picks in the history of this game that are worth a Hall of Fame coach.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: And Hittononym is almost impossible.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_03]: Well, said, dude, you've maintained that from day one when Peyton was hired slash traded for and 100% agree with you, especially especially in hindsight, but Shannon to your point about this being an inspired team, I think they have already been through the crucible, you know, they've been through the refiner's fire, all those close games that came down to the wire and then not only that.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_03]: did it happen again in the divisional round, but the caliber of a opponent that they prevailed over
- 28:37[SPEAKER_03]: And then to be hit with something like this, I think Sean Peyton was right Scott to get this out immediately in a perfect world.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_03]: He would have rather have waited like if this was if yesterday was Sunday, he would have waited till Monday morning talked to the team, but because he knew he wasn't going to be seeing him for a couple days, he felt the best thing to do, you know, half the players according to him and already left and bailed from the locker room because, you know, it was like almost an hour later by the time they got the news.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's like I'm going to get it out there that you can get that diagnosed and a surgery scheduled in about 45 minutes.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: I know, I'm going, where did the, I mean, this doctor's on cell phone basis with a lower, when you're, when you're, when you're getting the phone call from the guy worth $75 billion, you pick up.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you pick up.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_03]: Fusho, fusho.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, my, my point here is I think Sean Peyton strategy to just get it out.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: Let the players deal with it immediately.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: Let the fan base and the press deal with it immediately so that he can turn his focus to what still matters, which is bigger not how to win this next game.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, but I think second TikTok world, it's it's no longer news by Monday when the team reports are practice.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, but Shannon.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm exaggerating a little bit.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, on this but thing.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not exaggerating when I say how awesome you've been to us Shannon and we we we appreciate I don't get to say that enough, but I am I am part of this show just in the background and means a lot to us Zach I'm going to I'm going to put this up here then I'm going to.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm going to probably bring it back down and read it.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so it doesn't cover everything, but we say to see the stars on Facebook so want to say thank you, but Zachary says good evening chatting Scott how you doing.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: Amazing win for our Broncos last night.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_02]: What a fun game to call me.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, people talk about the pace of play and stuff.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: You get games like that.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_02]: They go quickly, you know, they go really fast.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts on facing the Patriots?
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: My opinion, I'd rather play the Patriots with Stidum who hasn't played in no for 700 days than playing an amazing defense like the Texans.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: I've heard it to Broncos when it will depend on three things.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: The play calling, city, and our defense and the Broncos let a,
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: take it back to the Super Bowl.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: From my point of view, the way things are going right now, I don't care about the defense.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: I want to play against CJ Straud.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it was at 10 turnovers in two games.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: First time in history, most teams that get commit 10 turnovers, don't get to play more than
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: don't get a chance to play two games, they're gone.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the way I see it right now, but again, maybe he cleans things up and maybe they can imagine if they had pulled that game out and switched and put Davis Mills in.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there was a lot of, there was a, that would have been a ballsy move from Tamiko Riance, but it might have been the right one, you know, but you've got the whole off season.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: If you lose it, it doesn't work to try and build
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's still our guy and you can build that back up, but right now, the Patriots were clearly the better team because this isn't the first time the Houston Texans were given the ball away like it was.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: you know like they're giving stuff away yeah Scott kind of a hard segue but I got to do this this is epic you guys Nick falls ways in on the bone next injury and it's absolutely epic you guys ready for this note for the Broncos fans the Broncos and their fans
- 32:08[SPEAKER_03]: I know it's been an emotional 24 hours.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_03]: I feel for bowing the team and I'm sending prayers for a strong recovery.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_03]: Positive note going into the game versus the Patriots is that they struggle against backup QBs and championship type games.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: Drop the mic, drop the mic.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_03]: So moral support there, Scott from Super Bowl champion and MVP and former backup quarterback, Nick Fools.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, and it's certainly possible.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_02]: You put a system in place so that when Brock party goes down, you still win with Mac Jones.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the stakes are higher, but you've got arguably, and again, going back to that trading of first round pick for Sean Payton, there are very, very few people on this planet.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: I would advocate that for, but I say that Broncos country
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: to really know how good a job he did in New Orleans.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: He only won one Super Bowl Drew Breeze.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: I heard that I'm like, are you out of your mind?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know how hard it is to win in New Orleans?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: There were a 380 winning percentage before he got there.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: They only won double digit games like twice and 40 years.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be like taking the Browns and going on a 15-year run right now.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: And it was worse, it'd probably be harder than that.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: What he did in New Orleans,
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: was one of the best coaching jobs in the history of this league and he's going to go in the Hall of Fame.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: So for Sean Peyton, yes, the death of Lynn, well, that's ominous.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: This gives five mile high-huttle memberships.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: I need to figure out how to turn this on because Broncos Country and Mile High-huttle community y'all are awesome at this and I don't know if I've ever seen it done on my channel and y'all are really, really good about getting more and more people involved.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you the death of love you buddy.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you death of life of a main change tonight the triple C C cubed coming in says can the backup users legs to avoid the sacks?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: He got sacked at a higher rate when he came in for Russell Wilson.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: He got sacked at a higher rate than Russell Wilson did Things have changed a little bit since then around Broncos country including the culture and the mentality
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but he's not exactly a scramble.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_02]: I looked up when I saw the super I looked up and he all he ran for like 150 yards and three seasons as a starter and college.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Now stacks count against your rushing total, but he ran some RPO at Auburn, but not he, he's not a big running threat.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_03]: He's not as, I mean, that's, that's a, all quote, Nick, you know, our friend Nick Kendall, that's one of both superpowers is avoidance sack, you know, he's just, he's already proven it.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, how rare is it for first and second year quarterbacks to not get sack on a semi regular basis, let alone.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_03]: Last year as a rookie finished third few of sacks, bonyx, and then year two, a few of sacks in the NFL.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: So expecting, look, I know the Broncos offensive line is good.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_03]: You got two all pros, one on each side.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_03]: However, expecting Jared Stidham to replicate the zero sacks.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: Bonyx was not sacked yesterday, by the way.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that might be a bridge too far, but he can still do his thing.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: Like he,
- 35:36[SPEAKER_03]: He's got a strong arm.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_03]: He knows Sean Peyton's scheme.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, you're more dialed into all the recruiting stuff, even still that being your longtime expertise.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_03]: Is it true that Jared Stidham was the former, like, top ranked recruit coming out of high school when he signed to Auburn?
- 35:55[SPEAKER_03]: He signed with Baylor.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: Right, Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, and then Auburn.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: He signed, he was a very, very high well thought of.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_02]: recruit when he came out.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember exactly where he was, but he was a high recruit.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: That was right about when I was starting to get out of it in 2014 right before I moved up to New York from LA to New York.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: scout days the last stand of the scout days.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: The old scout days, what was I just looking up the, oh, stats on sacks.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, the stadium took a bunch of sacks.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: He was sacked at a higher rate in his starts than Russell Wilson wasn't Russell Wilson.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: We know it takes a bunch of sacks.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: Drake may with sack 47 times this year.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, that's a lot.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: He was he was sack 47 times in the regular season this year.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then I don't have the playoff numbers.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, look at it right now.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think he got sack three times today.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'll look at it right now.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_03]: So he was sacked board three times.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, three times today.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_03]: He was sacked one two three four five times today.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_03]: What am I looking at?
- 36:56[SPEAKER_03]: So that's against Houston.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at New England.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's the same team dummy.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_03]: The first game against the Steelers.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: One two three times.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: So eight sacks and two playoff games and he's about to go against the team that had more sacks than
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: So keep him contained because he's going to get his rushing yards, limit that if you can sack him, he'll put the ball in the ground, most quarterbacks do and you saw that turn over with Josh Allen, who went on six games without turning the ball over.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: of so yeah put some pressure on him he is more of the running threat though he's he's going to scare you more with his likes so real quick guys we touched on it very briefly but i'm seeing a lot of questions about jk
- 37:48[SPEAKER_03]: There are reasons to believe he could return this week.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_03]: We won't know until we get the first practice report on Wednesday, but the reason there's we have to kind of maybe hope not necessarily a sum or expect, but hope bears watching whatever you want to call it is that
- 38:06[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton has been hinting at it for a couple two, three weeks now, not only that, but last week for the first time, you know, he's been working on his foot rehabbing by himself.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_03]: Last week for the first time, he's out on the grass with the team, you know, not with the team, but adjacent, let's call it to the team, doing his workout routine and going through stuff.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_03]: So it would not shock me, but
- 38:29[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos can't bring him in if he's not ready.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_03]: Is he actually ready?
- 38:33[SPEAKER_03]: Is he really that close?
- 38:34[SPEAKER_03]: Scott brought that up earlier.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_03]: And if he is, how much can you rely on him?
- 38:39[SPEAKER_03]: Since he hasn't touched the ball since week 10, does he come in and be your 15 carry guy?
- 38:44[SPEAKER_03]: Like he was before he walked out the door with that injury, or as he just part of the rotation and five, six carry something like that, any JK dobbins, if you can get him, I think is better than none.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_03]: We'll know a little bit more, starting on Wednesday if they start his clock.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just hesitate to, you know, it's always the next guy that is the one that's most exciting.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_02]: We see that also, you know, the legendary AT Perry.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was an AT Perry out there because he's got two catches in his career.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: Who wasn't we were talking about yesterday, dude?
- 39:17[SPEAKER_02]: When were you texted me?
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: This was a good one though.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: This was from from now on.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: We will, was it the, the, the, the, the, the, the Broncos legend will Jordan Humphrey.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: From from now on, you know, just like Hall of Famer was at Kendall Hinton, Kendall Hinton, and Call of Famer Kendall Hinton from now on.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's Broncos legend, little Jordan Humphrey.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's his full name.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, a little aside there, but Mailman, Austin, Dorf, poppin' in, brother, thank you.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see another dear member.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: San happy we have a dominant D, a good game plan, and executing in big moments, can take us to the Super Bowl, playing in Denver will make it difficult for me.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: very difficult, very difficult.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_03]: And as Scott just did a really good job illustrating for everybody, the Broncos had 68 sacs.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_03]: They got after the quarterback yesterday.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they're credited for, well, well, I guess I got to come back to it now and tell you, but the Broncos were credited yesterday against Josh Allen.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_03]: with one, two, only three sacks, all right, three sacks, but the five takeaways, they're going to get after Drake May.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_03]: He's been sacked eight times in the two playoff games and 47 in the regular season.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's a lot.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, do you remember how much we were complaining about Russell Wilson's sacks the two years he was the starter?
- 40:36[SPEAKER_03]: 45, 55 times.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_03]: Those were the two sack totals he finished with.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_03]: If memory serves off the top of my head, Drake May is right up there, dude.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_03]: He's right
- 40:47[SPEAKER_03]: If you get pressure on him, he is a quarterback that's, I mean, it's hard for almost any quarterback to avoid it.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_03]: They're not impervious to pressure, but he is a quarterback that will make mistakes if you start hitting him if he's filling that pressure you saw today.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_03]: So that's going to be tough for me, but then again, guys.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos, you could still see it a little bit of tackling issue yesterday against the bills seemed like on first glance some communication breakdowns in coverage as Scott brought us back down to earth though and at the top of the show got to keep that in the context of who the Broncos were playing.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_03]: all that pre-snap motion and all the crazy stuff and the aggressive play calling the bills so much not only the window dressing they were thrown I mean they call the frickin' hook and latter dude not on top of and beyond Scott everything else they were doing to just like over trying overwhelmed the Broncos and Josh Allen hunts you know he's gonna push the ball downfield he's he is greedy I like that in the quarterback honestly but it's it's kind of like
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: I never liked it at an all three-point shooting team in the NCAA Tournament because one night of shooting, you're out, you know, one off-night in the playoffs of being greedy and you're out.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you can beat anybody on any given day, but the promise you can get beat on any given day.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_02]: If you've got a bad day or the ball doesn't found you're aware of the weather starts making having an effect.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_02]: So mailman Austin Dorf, great to see you, boo, boy.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: We got to talk, we got to talk, boo, boy off the ledge here.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's just to be honest, I'm cut it.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_02]: I debated coming into work and hitting the bar instead.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be lying if I said it was any bit confident instead of this sucks.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's not like you're playing, you know, peak mohomes and the chiefs right now.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the Patriots could be that team.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: The things we just don't know, you know, the S they've won, they've beaten the teams that are foot in front of them,
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: You don't, you're not counting on your quarterback to go out and win the game for you.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: Just don't lose it.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and you can win this game.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_02]: I guarantee you'll keep him in it as long as he is not making the big mistakes.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if I am,
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: If I who's there with their defensive coordinate, our fellow goes a name, we had heard before I guess I'll watch in the bears.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_02]: I was like wait a minute, Delse, Dennis Allen's the defensive coordinator of the bears.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: We know that name, if I'm the Patriots, I'm bringing heat.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm loading the lines and I'm bringing heat.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm stuffing the run.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Tara, I'm bringing heat.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm forcing you.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: And if you get up to scores on me, then I'll adjust.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I am pressuring.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_02]: the heck out of Jared Stadium.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_02]: See how quickly the game, see how fast the game goes for him and how quickly he can process and get up to a playoff atmosphere speed.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: I am bringing heat.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's a lot of unknowns guys, Josh, I understand how you feel because as soon as the news came down like that was the most unique feeling I'd ever I'd ever felt as a fan.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_03]: It's almost like you win the lottery and then someone calls you 45 minutes later and says your grandma died or something like that feeling it's hard to explain that
- 44:10[SPEAKER_03]: does this the peak, the high, the emotional, and especially after a game is exhausting is that one was yesterday and then to be brought so low and yet with the perfect knowledge of my team still in it.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_03]: What am I doing here?
- 44:23[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos are in the AFC Championship game.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_03]: So we got to try and keep it in perspective.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_03]: It definitely hurts our odds, guys.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_03]: It sets us back.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_03]: He's not the starting quarterback.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: Scott, speaking of odds, I saw that the Patriots were favored, but I expected that after Bowen down.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: And frankly, before he didn't, they may have been favored.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_02]: But I haven't looked at the total yet.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think it is?
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: 46.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, not the over under.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think the the the spread is?
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh Two.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, I was at two and a half.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: So let's see.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm curious what ESPN has it at if I look at conference championship Wow, it starts at five and a half.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_02]: I bet that comes down
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: I need to, it opens at five and a half.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it opened at one minus one and a half buffalo.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_02]: It changed three points over the course of the week.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: I expect that to be down to two and a half or three by the end of the week.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_03]: So here's my message to you, Josh.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_03]: It is gutting to know that Bow's not going to be there to see this through.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_03]: However, it shakes out.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_03]: Bow won't be there.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_03]: But guys, the Denver Broncos are in this.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_03]: Not only are they in the AFC Championship games, not like guys they're having to go on the road to Gillette Stadium.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: They're at home.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_03]: We're there.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos countries there, who, by the way, great job yesterday with the noise, insanely loud, but I would say keep your chin up.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: Sean Payton,
- 45:57[SPEAKER_03]: spookily confidence, not just last night after he's in his somber moon, he's in but steady will be ready, but you know, I could sit and read to you some of the things he said today, guys from the his conference call, he did this morning, but he's doubling down on it's did him.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_03]: He's really doubling down and he said, look, guys, he's going to be ready to go, he's going to be ready for the moment.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_03]: What else is he going to say you might know that's something for example's equity.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what else is he going to say that?
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: Who knows?
- 46:25[SPEAKER_03]: Let's hope he can win.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_02]: What's he supposed to say?
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he's not supposed to say I got a Super Bowl team in August.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's true policy.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_02]: So, but no, I'm I'm with you on this.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: I just I've set up before.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't just because it's a Broncos podcast.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: I keep the same message now.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: I might not always say everything the same.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when I'm here as a guest or with some more else, but I would say on a Patriot's podcast, I would say the same thing, I don't know how good this Patriot's team actually is.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: They're good.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_02]: They don't beat themselves, typically.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_02]: good special teams, good young quarterback, who can send plays with his leg.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: He took care of the ball this year, 31 and 8.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: They've got an underrated receiving core.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_02]: I would want to get a weapon for him in, but I think if I'm not mistaken, booty, there were some questions around him coming out of college and he fell some, but he was a pretty high round talent and he looked it today.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but speaking of being a year ahead of schedule, I would put that on them too.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_02]: Who expected the Patriots to be where they are?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, in order to be, you're not beating anybody, well, you got to beat them.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, well, we weren't any buddy.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that I'm familiar with that, that we weren't any buddy.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't mean we haven't beat anybody.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: We're nobody.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: So, to me, it's, it's not necessarily, I know what I would have asked you.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, talking about the, you know, the advantage, this is why you win 14 games.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: They win that game yesterday, if it's in Buffalo.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_02]: Probably not.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't think so.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the swings were so wild and there was that moment Scott that it was a stretch after that field goal.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_03]: at the early third quarter that turnover, the Broncos got it back stalled, kicked a feel go.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_03]: There was that, it lasted about a full quarter's worth at time, but almost all of the third and about half of the fourth.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe even a little bit more than a full quarter, where it felt like for a second that Buffalo game in Buffalo last year, where the Broncos were letting the momentum go, like they were starting to doubt that they could hang in and get this done.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_03]: And they kind of ended up punching in right at the last second, you know, holding the bills to that field goal drive that gave him the four point lead in the fourth quarter, then Bo gets the ball back four minutes to go.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_03]: And everything about what would transpire that outcome of that game was dictated purely on, phonics not only driving down and getting the points, but the energy lift that he provided through that result from there.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos were like, yeah, what were we thinking?
- 49:06[SPEAKER_03]: We're winning this game and they went out and they did it.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_03]: If that's in Buffalo, Scott would have been a lot harder to pull back and re-center like they did in the fourth.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, when you got a game that goes to overtime with those kind of swings and you win it at home in overtime after a couple of possessions, home field could be the tipping point, could be the could be the different.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: So I do believe Broncos Country.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: that you them earning that game and being in Denver.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_02]: In Mile High, let's not forget the altitude and what an advantage it is to play in Denver.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's, there's gonna be a few things that add up, but they play the game in Buffalo.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a different outcome.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think it tips just the other way.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: Michaela coming in so deflated, it also heard that
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: Bryant has been shut down after another concussion, Franklin II and Outland was early.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: Bryant looked like he was going to be a big part of this game plan.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Catch Bryant, catch Bryant, catch Bryant, Bryant out, like, well, that was fast.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: And is it his second one this year?
- 50:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, that's scary.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_02]: You circuit in multiple concussions in less than six months.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: I started thinking about your long-term well-being y'all.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_03]: Definitely.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_03]: Um, it's a concern.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_03]: It could shake out that way.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know that for a fact yet in terms of no reports, Sean Peyton today was straight up like, don't, hey, I'll tell you whatever you'd need to know.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: I guess about Bo, like, here's what, here's the story I'll answer a couple of questions.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_03]: Don't ask me about any of the other major players because I'm, I'm not going to tell you anything.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see, but the Broncos do have some other wide receivers on the roster as we know in terms of the practice squad, Elijah Moore, Michael Bandy, I mean, they're not on the roster for a reason Pat Bryant is, but yeah, that's that was a bummer and look, it's just like champagne said last night, man, we've lost players all year long.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's football.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_03]: That's what happens.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_03]: And we've consistently found a way to overcome.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_03]: And so all we can hope Michaela is that they can do so again, that they can overcome not just the loss of Pat client possibly Troy Franklin hamstrings or tricky things, but obviously the the dagger to our hearts last night the Bone X news that's the biggest thing and that's why you're feeling deflated and my message last night before we knew about Bone X, I'm going to still impart it to you tonight and I promise you I say it with the utmost confidence and that is
- 51:39[SPEAKER_03]: faith precedes the miracle.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's never the other way around.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_03]: So, hey man, the Broncos have given us nothing, but reason to have faith, and I'm nothing but reasons to believe.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_03]: They just got their 15th one of the season.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_03]: Their first playoff victory since hoisting the Lumbardi trophy.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_03]: What do we got to lose in terms of keeping up keeping the faith?
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: So, we expect, they'll be expecting the Broncos the win now.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos just lost and they lost both
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: Here's your narratives, those, I almost called you Zach Chad.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think Bonyx was any good.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: So what difference does it make if you lose him, right?
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_02]: Use a word back in the playoffs anyway.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: So what's the big deal?
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: He could play, yeah, we all know different and so does everybody else, and there just be in dishonest.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_02]: But Michaela, thanks for being here.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's good to see you again.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_02]: And that'll all go away once, once tip off,
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: will be excited and you know it'll go for a week and we'll get better um Glenn.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yes I'm good to get in to Nucci that's right.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah um I was no fans Glenn I was trying to click on Sue and then the chat jump we'll grab you Glenn don't worry.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um we'll also hit yeah sign Ben to Nucci as a as a third I believe.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: Practice squad though let's yeah as a third he'll he might be you know get an elevation and be a third emergency quarterback.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah um Doc is also in great to see the priest and the deacon and city we trust also glad it's a Patriots.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: Me too.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, my pick from going back and I looked it up.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_02]: Chad, it was like, I downloaded it just in case it was you for facing the Texans because the last time I was on here.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was like two months ago, watch the Texans man watch the Texans.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_02]: I like them.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I did like them and I still like them.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: I just didn't think their quarterback was going to.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_03]: And quarterback sitch they have like not good man.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's hard to overcome.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, appreciate you dog.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: Zach I'm gonna come back in.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna read this one again.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: I agree with Scott.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think we are a year away.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: See, this is these are the things that bother me.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't say you are a year away.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're you're like no, no, no.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're a year ahead of schedule.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think you would be here this quickly, right?
- 54:02[SPEAKER_02]: Now, this might not be the best team that you've got and I don't expect to be.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think your arrow is on the way up, but there's no reason, obviously.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_02]: But you're in it now.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: You can win this.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: You can go to the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl this year.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think you can.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_02]: So to say that you're a way would mean that I don't think you can't, you can do that.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_02]: you're a year ahead of schedule of what I think all of us expected to be last year was hey, let's find out what we've gotten our rookie quarterback this year was let's make the playoffs and then you're three, let's do it.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do this thing.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: No doubt, the rest money's coming off the books.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: You've still, you know, you've got another year of you've got a team that people are going to want to play for and you've got a bunch of free agency money.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_02]: And another full set of draft picks again isn't that nice.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_03]: That is nice.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_03]: Real quick, some interesting news.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_03]: Drake may went on record today after the game, knowing that, of course, the Broncos, or the Patriots are advancing to play the Broncos, he said about the Bonix injury, quote, the news was heartbreaking.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: praying for bow, I know Hillbounds back.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_03]: He's a great player in this league.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_03]: So Drake made tip in his cap to Bonyx, given him some support, very classy.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: I get there's the QB club.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: They're all part of the QB club and it's the fraternity and they look after each other.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: And even though he's three years younger, they're still classmates as far as that's concerned.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: They came out in the same
- 55:37[SPEAKER_03]: I'm I'm going to read this real quick guys.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_03]: Then we got to get going here pretty soon Glenn from Australia says good morning Chad Scott Broncos country after some tears last night some sleep Jackson his boy wore his next jersey with pride to his swimming club I have confidence in patents did him we really need the D to tighten up.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_03]: uh... broken tackles got to be cleaned up dobbins back would be extremely helpful two more wins state of being hashtag next man up bring on the pets well said buddy and uh... yeah i mean it was tough it was tough i i when i went to uh... bed last night i was trying to explain to my wife the weird moon that i was in i was trying to convey to her in the whole but i was about three quarters the way through explaining what i wanted to try to explain
- 56:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I just stop because I saw the look in her eye.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_03]: She knows how I live.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_03]: She lives it herself because I'm her husband.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_03]: But I could see the look in her eye where she's like, we're talking about a game.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's football.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: glazing the eyes and glazing all the time.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: My wife said to me, she said she sounded like the, she sounded like the town expert.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: She was at her tennis today and they're like, oh, you know, the women are talking about the, oh, some good games this weekend, yeah.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_02]: And like, yeah, but didn't somebody get hurt on the Denver.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_02]: I guess you were happy.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, until someone got hurt and that nobody knew what it was.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_02]: And she just starts whipping off.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, bonics.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: They're they're quarterback.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_02]: A second your quarterback got hurt on the second last play of the game.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's out for the season.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_02]: That surgery.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, wow.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, smart.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_02]: She knows her stuff.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm like, she does a great job of at least listening to enough pretend she's paying attention.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't grow up into just an old man talking to myself because no one listens, just walking out of the kids don't listen to me, dogs listen to me, wife doesn't listen to me, I'm just going to talk to him, that's why I talk to y'all.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_03]: All right, real quick guys, I'm going to do some flashes here of the members, rock, let me see, well, that's given some props to someone else.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_03]: So Chase says, what do we see coming for Stiton?
- 57:39[SPEAKER_03]: Feel like you can be a game manager, play it safe, Paul.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that's just hopeful thinking.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk, hold on, sunny, third concussion.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, you're right, dude.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_03]: You're right, you're right, third concussion.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_03]: My bad on that.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_03]: Asus for Pat Bryant.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_03]: Sue Gibson will be fine with Stiton.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, let's see, rock says, uh, Mace Andrew Mason said today, Brian's doing well.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_03]: Again, I haven't seen anything any reports yet, uh, from sources I trust that there's reason to believe they're gonna shut him down.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_03]: It wouldn't be a surprise, though.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_03]: It was saying, considering the number.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, let me see, Pearl, good to see a Sunday, will be 45 degrees in sunny.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure it'll be a nice football environment.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_03]: And yet, M. Black's Gucci,
- 58:23[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_03]: There's some folks real quick.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_03]: Sonny also says here Texan strad is the worst QB that was in the playoffs three picks in the first half along I was four four I was trying to see that yesterday guys that I was pissed off that outlets were calling bone next ranking him the eighth best quarterback remaining in the playoffs All right, let me see well we're about out of time triple C he was grabbing in paying grabbing the bet
- 58:49[SPEAKER_03]: He was in pain grabbing his back on that touchdown catch talking about Marvin Mims who did get banged up yesterday.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_03]: And as I was saying, before we knew the world was coming crashing down also temporarily with Beau, man, Marvin Mims screaming once again in a big game high stakes clutch moments, I need to be more involved in what's going on.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_03]: But something was said, I'm trying to remember who was.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was Evan Ingraham mentioned it post game last night because he
- 59:18[SPEAKER_03]: You know, MIMS, it was great to see him do what I'm trying to paraphrase here.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_03]: Do what he did.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_03]: He's had a tough season with a lot of issues taking care of his body.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_03]: So we know that MIMS had the concussion, but I think maybe there have been some other things he's been dealing with physically that the team didn't necessarily tell a cast to the world.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_03]: But members, we love you.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_03]: The Times already flown by Pro-16.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's only two games.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, what's Todd saying?
- 59:45[SPEAKER_03]: What's Todd saying?
- 59:46[SPEAKER_03]: Todd, he'll be fine.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he's, you know, the doubts about Stitham, which are justified.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_02]: and uh... lean on the defense in the home field run the ball yep and blacks this is like the twenty of the two thousand five season where any of the final four can win it and there's no dominant team that's actually a really good comparison really good comparison and deeper than that too you know i mean the jaguars are out the bills are out i mean obviously that we saw the the bills in the jags came down to the last play
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_02]: the bills in the Broncos came down to the last play.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: So any one of those three teams on any given day have beaten one of the other.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think having that by week, the home field advantage, which you earned, made the difference.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's the things are talking about, you know, they're lamenting all of these things about.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they're.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know, on a day, they had one less day of rest because they played on this day and another plan on Saturday and, you know, having to come to mile high above a lot, I'm like, that's why you get the number one seed, y'all, you know, do you want us to pay attention to anything in the regular season or not?
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_02]: This is, this is why you win those games, the Broncos, under this.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_03]: Mike, the Patriots don't have the same massive line that the bills do, that's true, that old line man.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_03]: They were given the Broncos and problems running the ball.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_03]: But hey, listen guys, we're about out of time.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_03]: So before we dip on out, I want to give a mile high salute and especially shout out to all the super chat super stars, supporters and members helping us keep the lights on tonight.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_03]: And then also I want to least shout out the folks we missed last night with our abrupt ending.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_03]: But tonight, David Yunkin, Sam Van.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_03]: Eric Holt, Zachary Heints, hints, Nigel Toff, the legend, Death of Flynn, Shannon Mills, Mount Rushmore, and Nodge, Mount Rushmore, and Sam Bam Mountain, Mount Rushmore, and Young and by the way.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_03]: So just FYI, the triple C, Melman, Austin, door.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_03]: Chaos Josh and Blacks.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, do we get M. Blacks two wins and Stitham gets a statue.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_03]: But you stick dumb, Blacks, apologies.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_03]: Make it happen.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_03]: Word, word, brother.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_03]: Doc JC and the Duchess last but never least.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, Michaela.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_03]: Keep your chin up, my friend.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_03]: And then real quick guys, before we dip last night.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, if I miss someone here in this shout out for give us, uh, we're, we're doing the best we can, but to the best of our knowledge, money more Dr. C. Chris par Scott Eaton, uh, ex agent Anthony Edwards, Flatter, Trinney, DJ Capo, Shilohish, Drew Hudick, Colin, down him, of course, Brian McGay, he, uh, Yulika, and I think that covers it.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_02]: Pardon and clay wise on Facebook.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_02]: Those are, thank you for, thank you for coming in the last night.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: It was hectic last night, yeah.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_02]: And we, we ended up cutting just a little bit short, but don't think that it doesn't mean the world to us that, that you still, we're supporting us.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely, we didn't quite get to you.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you very much.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: You know that we, that's something we pride ourselves on here at MHH and when there's some time here is to make sure that you guys get seen because it's, it gets busy, you know, with 10,000 views and 5,000 live streams and all the chat.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it gets busy, but that's one of the reasons I'm here is to make sure that you don't get missed and we apologize, you got missed.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_03]: Guys, last thing, connect with Scott on X at scout Kennedy myself at chat in Jensen.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to go through all the other callouts except to remind you, come join the discord server with this.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_03]: The links in the description of this stream.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_03]: Love you guys.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_03]: Scott, thanks for making time short.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_03]: Notice Big Dog is always great to hear your thoughts on the Broncos and let everyone else hear your thoughts on.
- 1:03:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, happy to talk.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't watch all of the games, but I watched all four of these.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_02]: Watching the Rams and Bears over here.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_02]: uh right now so um it's been it's been a good post season and this thing is wide open.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_02]: I mean I'm gonna end up going 3 and 1.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the Texans would win but uh I'd probably should have looked at a weather report and I didn't expect CJ Straud to just completely implode but not that bad.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos and the bills made harder than I was expecting.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the Broncos were gonna win that a little bit easier but they want it in the end and that's all the matters.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks again, guys.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_03]: I love you and listen, everybody.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_03]: Keep your chin up because your Denver Broncos are hosting, what?
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_03]: The AFC Championship game.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I will see you tomorrow.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's gonna be so loud.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, it's gonna be an amazing atmosphere.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_03]: So I'll see you tomorrow, though, guys.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_03]: So for Scott, for Zach, I'm Chad.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_02]: Go Broncos.
