- 0:14Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: drum Shooter, and it's Monday, which means my dear friend
- 0:19Speaker 1: Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garrett, are you there.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Oh yes, I am, Bobby. Good to see you. You're
- 0:24Speaker 2: looking fabulous as always.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Thank you, my friend. I feel fabulous, even though I've
- 0:28Speaker 1: still got this damn cold. Can you hear it in
- 0:31Speaker 1: my throat?
- 0:32Speaker 3: You are?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I would love you, know God willing in about one
- 0:36Speaker 2: hundred years from now, when you do pass, I would
- 0:38Speaker 2: love for you to donate your body to science.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I will have to do this either always sick and
- 0:43Speaker 1: I want. It's gonna be science or the Smithsonium. I
- 0:47Speaker 1: have not decided quite a science and I shall be
- 0:50Speaker 1: stuffed in the Smithsonian. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 0:54Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time
- 0:57Speaker 1: big story. At the top of the show, so Heller
- 1:00Speaker 1: Swift is telling her boyfriend Travis Kelsey to not respond
- 1:04Speaker 1: to some really ugly, ugly statements put out, unfortunately by
- 1:08Speaker 1: the President of the United States. So we're not a
- 1:10Speaker 1: political show, so we're not gonna get into that on
- 1:13Speaker 1: this show, although I'm sure we all have thoughts, well,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I want to focus on their Garrett. Is your boyfriend,
- 1:18Speaker 1: your girlfriend, your partner. If somebody comes after your partner,
- 1:23Speaker 1: you want to fight back. Now. Travis, i'm told, is
- 1:26Speaker 1: furious about this. He loves Taylor. This is his person.
- 1:30Speaker 1: They're gonna get engaged, they are gonna get married. And
- 1:33Speaker 1: then somebody, somebody very powerful with hundreds of millions of
- 1:38Speaker 1: followers on social media tweets, puts out something really nasty,
- 1:43Speaker 1: really sexist, saying that she's not hot and taking credit
- 1:48Speaker 1: for making her not hot, and so Travis, forget how
- 1:51Speaker 1: you feel about that. I know how I feel. But
- 1:54Speaker 1: Travis is livid right now. He would love to respond
- 2:00Speaker 1: a big following himself. So does Taylor Swift. She has
- 2:03Speaker 1: decided to say nothing, and I think that's probably the
- 2:08Speaker 1: right move. Inside as are saying, the President is now
- 2:11Speaker 1: her new Kanye West. He's somebody that's going to constantly
- 2:15Speaker 1: be niggling her. It's going to constantly be poking her.
- 2:19Speaker 1: She didn't support him. We know that he can be very,
- 2:22Speaker 1: very vengeful. We know he can carry a grudge, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: so let's not make it a bad him on this show.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let's talk about Travis and Taylor. If somebody came after you, Garrett,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and we're not love us, we're dear friends. I would
- 2:35Speaker 1: fight back. If somebody tweeted something really nasty about you,
- 2:39Speaker 1: particularly your looks, I would go mad. But I don't
- 2:43Speaker 1: think that actually helps what's going on. I think it
- 2:45Speaker 1: makes it bigger.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It adds fuel to the fire, and I think as
- 2:50Speaker 2: hard as it is, it is probably one of the
- 2:52Speaker 2: hardest things you'll ever have to do in your life.
- 2:55Speaker 2: But as long as you could bite your tongue as
- 2:57Speaker 2: hard as you can without it falling off, I think
- 3:00Speaker 2: it just infuriates the other side that much more because
- 3:03Speaker 2: what what said person is trying to do is just
- 3:08Speaker 2: stir the pot, you know, and poking the bear like yes,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and so as long as you don't poke back, the
- 3:15Speaker 2: bear will just continue to try to say the most
- 3:19Speaker 2: outlandish things possible, you know what I mean. Give it
- 3:21Speaker 2: a few weeks, watch and you know, with no one
- 3:24Speaker 2: responding back, a few weeks will go by and be like, hey,
- 3:27Speaker 2: whatever happened to that, Let me let me bring it
- 3:29Speaker 2: up again. And then and then it'll well, the circle
- 3:33Speaker 2: of life will go around and around again, and we'll
- 3:35Speaker 2: be back to the same point. Because Taylor has not commented.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It loses its power. It's the hardest thing in the
- 3:41Speaker 1: world to do, to have restraint. We're not Taylor Swift.
- 3:45Speaker 1: We are not We're normal politicians living in the White House.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And yet when somebody comes at me on Twitter, on
- 3:53Speaker 1: Facebook and social media, I've actually got a remarkable amount
- 3:57Speaker 1: of restraint when it comes to myself. Now, if you
- 4:00Speaker 1: come at Bruce, my husband.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I am ab a bear vicious.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I am so protective over Bruce. What is it like
- 4:10Speaker 1: with you and your wife. Your wife is not a
- 4:11Speaker 1: public figure, Garret, She's very private, so I doubt she
- 4:15Speaker 1: has that that sort of response by anonymous people. But
- 4:18Speaker 1: you all know, if you have a Facebook account, you
- 4:20Speaker 1: all know people can disagree.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Oh they can, and I call them keyboard tough guys.
- 4:26Speaker 2: But but no matter what, like you come, you come
- 4:29Speaker 2: after me. I'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a writer.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Die as they say.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You come after my family, you come after my friends,
- 4:36Speaker 2: you come.
- 4:37Speaker 3: After Rob Struder.
- 4:38Speaker 2: For God's sake, I will run through the wall like
- 4:40Speaker 2: cool laid man and and and and make make your
- 4:44Speaker 2: life a living head.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Thank you. What would happen though, if I asked you
- 4:47Speaker 1: not to do that, because that's what's happening. Keev Taylor.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You want to do it, your instincts are to do it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but you can't be saying please, don't.
- 4:56Speaker 3: You know what?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Then, you know, out of respect for you or a
- 4:59Speaker 2: friend or a family member that does say and it
- 5:02Speaker 2: has happened, it has happened. I will restrain because that
- 5:07Speaker 2: is not my fight to fight, you know what I mean?
- 5:10Speaker 2: But if you say, hey, you know, I am letting
- 5:13Speaker 2: the the the animal out of the cage gain that
- 5:18Speaker 2: happened to my sister. My sister had to go through
- 5:20Speaker 2: some stuff too, and I easily was ready to just
- 5:25Speaker 2: pounce on my platform and impossibly go visit, said said
- 5:30Speaker 2: person at their at their low paying job.
- 5:35Speaker 3: But I see I'm getting into it, But I.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Get it into it. It trickis you? It triggers you,
- 5:39Speaker 1: doesn't it. I think I've fi got really really good
- 5:42Speaker 1: at this and it's a lesson I want us all
- 5:43Speaker 1: to learn not to because I promise you it actually
- 5:46Speaker 1: does does work. If somebody comes at you, they want
- 5:49Speaker 1: to fight, they want you to fight back, and you're
- 5:51Speaker 1: not going to ever change their mind. Know that. So
- 5:54Speaker 1: if you come at somebody. If you respond with reasons, well,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you know, actually, I'm still pretty hot. I've got twenty
- 6:00Speaker 1: million dollars in the bank, and I've got a billion
- 6:03Speaker 1: dollars of acids, and I've got the number one album
- 6:06Speaker 1: of all time, and I've got the biggest to it
- 6:08Speaker 1: like you hear.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Talk about you. For a second, I did not know this.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Taylor's said. If Taylor wanted to respond, it'd be very
- 6:17Speaker 1: hard to actually logically argue that she's not hot. She's
- 6:21Speaker 1: arguably the hottest pop star of all time. I really
- 6:26Speaker 1: she's got the biggest to her of all time. And
- 6:29Speaker 1: so if I came back with a logical, really smart,
- 6:34Speaker 1: well thought out, documented, factual response, it doesn't matter because
- 6:39Speaker 1: they're not looking for the truth. They're looking for a fight. Now,
- 6:43Speaker 1: if you think of it like that, it's easier to
- 6:46Speaker 1: restrain yourself because if you do respond, you're giving them
- 6:51Speaker 1: what they want. If you don't respond, you've won.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Here's what I think is gonna happen down the road,
- 6:57Speaker 2: And we know what Taylor is a brilliant writer and
- 7:00Speaker 2: almost a magical writer, where there will be a line
- 7:04Speaker 2: and a song that we're not made aware of, but
- 7:07Speaker 2: because of the Swifties are such intuitive detectives. They will
- 7:11Speaker 2: find a way to link it to the situation we're
- 7:13Speaker 2: in right now, and that will be the head response.
- 7:17Speaker 2: But you won't respond. She'll respond in lyric without saying
- 7:20Speaker 2: that it's the lyric. But if you know Taylor Swift
- 7:23Speaker 2: and you know her writing abilities, she will find a
- 7:26Speaker 2: way to weave it in there without without us really knowing,
- 7:29Speaker 2: and someone will uncover it and then we will be
- 7:31Speaker 2: back to square one. Oh, look at this line about me.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But she won't say that though.
- 7:36Speaker 3: We'll just have to assume it.
- 7:37Speaker 1: She's so great, Poor Taylor, My godness, she's just trying
- 7:40Speaker 1: to take some time off. My did her business and
- 7:42Speaker 1: she said, Blake Lively disaster and I'll visit.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I'm just like your body showing up at her house.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I mean, just leave Taylor alone, which brings us about
- 7:52Speaker 1: Paul questioned of the day, So Travis wants to defend
- 7:56Speaker 1: Taylor as an ugly political Really, this sort of attack
- 8:01Speaker 1: is escalating. Would you defend your partner? Would you? Would
- 8:06Speaker 1: you defend your partner if they asked you not to?
- 8:09Speaker 1: So the easy answer is yes, I would defend my partner.
- 8:12Speaker 1: What would you do if they said, please, don't, you're
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna make it worse. Please do nothing? Could you do that?
- 8:18Speaker 1: Let me know? Hey, go votes, Garrett, I'm not sure
- 8:21Speaker 1: about you. Go vote on our Twitter page. I'd naughty, nice,
- 8:23Speaker 1: rob our Facebook pages naughty and Michell. Let's check back
- 8:27Speaker 1: up a rival to hear your results. Hey, Garrett, what
- 8:30Speaker 1: are you looking on?
- 8:31Speaker 3: You know what?
- 8:31Speaker 2: I think this show should be all about life lessons.
- 8:33Speaker 2: What can we take from these celebrities and make them
- 8:35Speaker 2: into our own. So let's talk about Sondra Morgan Real
- 8:39Speaker 2: Housewives of New York. As you know, you know, she
- 8:42Speaker 2: had this idea that Real Housewives of New York would
- 8:45Speaker 2: last forever, but as we know, it's not. So she's
- 8:48Speaker 2: kind of in bad shape. She doesn't know how to
- 8:50Speaker 2: transition back into I guess normalcy or what's next. And
- 8:54Speaker 2: friends are saying from sources that we know that she
- 8:57Speaker 2: loved being on TV more than anyone else and it
- 9:00Speaker 2: was her it was her identity, and now that it's over,
- 9:04Speaker 2: she's she's struggling. And someone saw a few people saw
- 9:08Speaker 2: her down in Florida Palm Beach restaurant and in an
- 9:12Speaker 2: ambulance after after this crazy, chaotic scene outside of Echo,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and there was yelling involved, and people said that it
- 9:21Speaker 2: was kind of like they felt like she was trying
- 9:22Speaker 2: to recreate like some type of Housewives moment and drama.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And but what I I'm taking from this and the
- 9:32Speaker 2: reason why I said, what life lessons you can take
- 9:34Speaker 2: do not let what you're doing now, whatever job it
- 9:37Speaker 2: may be, become your full identity of who you are,
- 9:41Speaker 2: because you are a person at the end of the day,
- 9:43Speaker 2: whether you're on TV or you're a teacher or you're
- 9:47Speaker 2: the electrician. You know, that doesn't identify you. It identifies
- 9:52Speaker 2: you right now. But when that comes to an end,
- 9:55Speaker 2: what would.
- 9:56Speaker 3: You do next?
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's really smart. A certain very famous pop star who's
- 10:00Speaker 1: ends with my husband once told me what I do
- 10:04Speaker 1: is not who I am, really big, and what he
- 10:07Speaker 1: does is pretty damn big. But he said what I
- 10:10Speaker 1: do is not who I am, and I feel the same.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I love my life, I love my job, I love
- 10:15Speaker 1: the gossip, I love you Naughties, I love you Caro.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I have a great life, but it's not who I am.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And if all of this went away, I'd still have Bruce,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I'd still have my friends, I'd still have Derby Sonya
- 10:26Speaker 1: has got nothing else. I used to be really close
- 10:28Speaker 1: with Sonya full disclosure. I would go to her town
- 10:31Speaker 1: house at least once a week, would have drinks, would
- 10:33Speaker 1: have dinner, would go out to a local bar, would
- 10:35Speaker 1: send karaoke together. She helped me too. I've got to
- 10:38Speaker 1: be honest here. She was a really kind friend. When
- 10:40Speaker 1: I did a pilot, I got a morning show on
- 10:42Speaker 1: v H one and we needed a celebrity to do
- 10:44Speaker 1: a pilot, and Sonya did it. We didn't pay her.
- 10:47Speaker 1: She turned up, she did her own hair and makeup,
- 10:48Speaker 1: she did the pilot. It never aired. She gave me
- 10:50Speaker 1: an afternoon of her time to do it, so I
- 10:52Speaker 1: was very grateful for that. I had to stop hanging
- 10:55Speaker 1: out with Sonya, and I told her this, this is
- 10:57Speaker 1: not a secret. I just couldn't keep up with that life.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I couldn't keep up with that amount of party and
- 11:03Speaker 1: that amount of drama, that amount of screaming and shouting.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And they do try to recreate the Housewives in their
- 11:11Speaker 1: personal life. The boundary, the line between reality and TV show,
- 11:17Speaker 1: which Iran ironically they call reality, it's not it gets
- 11:20Speaker 1: very united. They forget, they forget what that line is.
- 11:23Speaker 3: You know what. I had two ideas.
- 11:25Speaker 2: First, is the pop star that you speak of, the
- 11:28Speaker 2: one that sings the themes keep moving along. I'm just
- 11:32Speaker 2: saying if there was any association, no names, I'm just
- 11:35Speaker 2: saying pop star might be. But so you're just saying
- 11:40Speaker 2: how they go out and recreate moments, and I know
- 11:42Speaker 2: they do the Bravo cons And what if you know
- 11:46Speaker 2: everybody loves the photos and you get a photo with
- 11:48Speaker 2: your your favorite you know, housewives.
- 11:50Speaker 3: This is what we need to do.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And here's our million dollar idea, rob Shooter. After this
- 11:53Speaker 2: is our this is our after podcast life we take
- 11:56Speaker 2: we create these photo moments. Imagine being able to look
- 12:00Speaker 2: like you're flipping a table while you're hanging out with
- 12:02Speaker 2: your housewife, a favorite housewife in a photo so it
- 12:06Speaker 2: looks like you and the housewives are flipping tables, even
- 12:08Speaker 2: though it's like a prop.
- 12:09Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 12:10Speaker 1: They would do it. If you pay those housewives, they
- 12:12Speaker 1: will recreate any funny thing.
- 12:13Speaker 2: How much people would pay it easily pay two hundred
- 12:16Speaker 2: and fifty dollars every great?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Are they ever ever gonna move on? We see so
- 12:20Speaker 1: many enough housewives and they're still just grasping at it,
- 12:23Speaker 1: and you just want to say it's over. It was great.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Be grateful that you had a decade of really successful television.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You made a lot of money, you became the famous person.
- 12:33Speaker 2: You all have money too, you know what I mean,
- 12:35Speaker 2: most of them have a lot, a lot of money.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Why not use it? Why not go enjoy yourself?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I don't get it. Oh Son, you were sending you
- 12:42Speaker 1: our best. It's sloppy, It's messy, messy, messy, Okay, Gail
- 12:45Speaker 1: King is distancing herself from this rocket disaster member. Gail
- 12:49Speaker 1: went to space? What's going on there?
- 12:51Speaker 2: So, so here's what our sources are saying that what
- 12:55Speaker 2: I thought, what I think Gail King thought this was
- 12:58Speaker 2: going to be was a.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Very instant firing.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Experience to turn into positivity, and it kind of fell
- 13:05Speaker 2: flat on its face once everyone just took it as
- 13:08Speaker 2: a as a big joke of a bunch of people
- 13:11Speaker 2: going into space and rich people calling themselves astronauts. So
- 13:17Speaker 2: what Gail is doing is probably the smartest out of
- 13:20Speaker 2: everyone in that one into space. She's kind of doing
- 13:23Speaker 2: damage controls. So she's kind of distanc herself from Laurence Sanchez,
- 13:28Speaker 2: which makes me think, will she show up at the
- 13:30Speaker 2: wedding for.
- 13:32Speaker 1: For Jeff Bezos.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I know it soon, but will she show up or
- 13:36Speaker 2: if she does, will she show up undercover?
- 13:38Speaker 3: So so the.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Whole Blue Origin backlash, Neil like just not. I don't
- 13:43Speaker 2: think it's like ruined Gail's brand, but it kind of
- 13:47Speaker 2: gave a little black and blue, you know, as a
- 13:50Speaker 2: as a journalist. But she's definitely going nowhere near the
- 13:55Speaker 2: rocket crowd ever. Again, I could tell you that, but
- 13:59Speaker 2: but so, I mean, you got Lauren Sanchez, you got
- 14:01Speaker 2: Katy Perry Kimgardashian. They were all photographed together toasting in Paris,
- 14:07Speaker 2: in Paris, but you know, Gail wasn't there.
- 14:11Speaker 1: You know. It's also two, Gale does have a real job.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm not saying she has a real job too. I
- 14:21Speaker 1: shouldn't say she doesn't never a real job, but she
- 14:22Speaker 1: doesn't have to be at a certain place five days
- 14:25Speaker 1: a week for three hours, does she? Lauren sant Katie
- 14:29Speaker 1: Katy is sort of busy. But so this is a
- 14:31Speaker 1: a I think, a really smart thing that that Gail's doing.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And let's remember too, they worked together for I think
- 14:37Speaker 1: eleven minutes. One That is not relationship building. Think people
- 14:42Speaker 1: together for maybe they were together once for eleven minutes.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So let's not overestimate this friendship. Okay, quickly before we
- 14:51Speaker 1: get a break, A little bit of sad news here,
- 14:52Speaker 1: but I don't think we should get too crazy about
- 14:54Speaker 1: this year. George and maul clooney are living pretty much
- 14:57Speaker 1: separate life. So he's in New York, is here for
- 14:59Speaker 1: at least months doing his Tony nominated play It is
- 15:03Speaker 1: Fantastic on Broadway. I was looking enough to see him.
- 15:06Speaker 1: She didn't turn up for the opening strange. She's not
- 15:09Speaker 1: here now during the Tony season. Strange. And we just
- 15:12Speaker 1: spotted her at the cam Film Festival. So what I'm
- 15:14Speaker 1: told is she's in France with the children. The children
- 15:18Speaker 1: argue they get to school in.
- 15:20Speaker 3: France stability I called stability.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And so yes, so she's with the kids. Some people
- 15:25Speaker 1: are pointing out, with all their money, she could jump
- 15:28Speaker 1: on a private plane and shoot over to New York
- 15:30Speaker 1: for the opening night. I sort of get that. My
- 15:32Speaker 1: husband had an opening night on Broadway and I wouldn't
- 15:34Speaker 1: have missed it for the world. It was really important
- 15:37Speaker 1: to him, And so I think here, Garrett, I don't
- 15:39Speaker 1: want to get ahead of ourselves here, but This is
- 15:41Speaker 1: how we start to see these little cracks emerge, not
- 15:44Speaker 1: just in celebrity marriages, but also in your own. If
- 15:46Speaker 1: your wife, if Bruce stopped turning up to things that
- 15:49Speaker 1: were really important to me, I'd be like, m.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I definitely would question it.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But it's such a weird dynamic because and I think
- 16:00Speaker 2: you and I know this too, that George and themal
- 16:03Speaker 2: have tried to lead a normal life for their children.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You know, they are the exception because they're they're they're
- 16:10Speaker 2: big megastars, but I think they've tried to for their
- 16:13Speaker 2: children's sake, tried to keep them as normal possible. So, uh,
- 16:18Speaker 2: you know, they're not gonna take them out of school, yes,
- 16:20Speaker 2: given maybe a day or two, but you know, I
- 16:23Speaker 2: think at the end of the day that they're most
- 16:25Speaker 2: importantly looking out for their kids. So however they got
- 16:28Speaker 2: to do to keep their kids on a normal nine
- 16:30Speaker 2: to five schedule, which, once you get your kids off
- 16:32Speaker 2: of a schedule, is so.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Hard to That's why you hate summer.
- 16:34Speaker 2: That's why I hate summer because once summer is right
- 16:37Speaker 2: around the corner and it's like, like structure.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I'm a structure guy.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Structure that's structure too, maybe a babysitter saying no more,
- 16:45Speaker 1: don't to this. We're going to take a quick break.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Can we be right back? Welcome back to the naughty
- 16:51Speaker 1: but Nice Share in your House film. Shoot, Hey, Garret,
- 16:53Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Yeah, last year we took
- 16:56Speaker 1: to Anna to add saying that and tom Cruise are
- 16:58Speaker 1: one hundred percent dating. So do you like these two
- 17:01Speaker 1: as a new couple. Let's someone look. Seventy two percent
- 17:04Speaker 1: said yes, you do like Tommy again? Mission impossible. You
- 17:07Speaker 1: saw him last night, Garrett. Yes, he's a superstar. He's
- 17:10Speaker 1: a superstar.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I mean, however you want to say it. He can
- 17:15Speaker 2: charm the pants off of literally anyone. Even if you're
- 17:18Speaker 2: not wearing pants, your pants will be charmed off. He
- 17:22Speaker 2: has this way, and maybe this is something you all
- 17:24Speaker 2: could take as you go throughout your day.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Listening to us. Right now, when you're.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Having a conversation with someone, even if it could be
- 17:30Speaker 2: the most boringest, dullest conversations, look that person straight in
- 17:35Speaker 2: the eye, because what that person who was listening to
- 17:38Speaker 2: you will take away from it is, Wow, they are engaging.
- 17:42Speaker 2: They they they are they are hanging on to every
- 17:44Speaker 2: word that I have, even if it's a sentence or
- 17:46Speaker 2: two that they're saying, look them straight in the eye,
- 17:49Speaker 2: even if you're not listening, fully look them straight eye,
- 17:51Speaker 2: because that connection alone will go as far as anything
- 17:55Speaker 2: else with that.
- 17:55Speaker 3: That's right, And that's what Cruise does with everyone.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Nobody does it better than Tommy. When you go to
- 18:00Speaker 1: do these red carpets, these big premieeres that Garrett was
- 18:02Speaker 1: at last night, I've done a lot of them too.
- 18:04Speaker 1: The celebrities don't really want to be there, and they
- 18:05Speaker 1: look at the floor, they look at the toes, so
- 18:07Speaker 1: they look at the hands, or they look at their publicists.
- 18:10Speaker 1: They don't look at the person talking to them. Look
- 18:13Speaker 1: people in the eye and don't forget to know. On
- 18:15Speaker 1: today's Paul going to Twitter page, ad Ordianized Rama Facebook
- 18:18Speaker 1: pages and audi your zip and be sure to check
- 18:20Speaker 1: back to my road to results.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Let me tell you something real quick.
- 18:25Speaker 2: So last night at the premiere, so they were talking,
- 18:27Speaker 2: tom Cruise was talking about big movies outside of his
- 18:30Speaker 2: and the first movie that he shouted out was Ballerina,
- 18:33Speaker 2: the one that is.
- 18:36Speaker 3: And like it's going to be a big action film.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Like for for him to take time out He also
- 18:42Speaker 2: gave a shout out to Brad Pitt for F one,
- 18:44Speaker 2: but that was the first movie he mentioned when they
- 18:47Speaker 2: were generous.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's so generous. Celebrities don't do this, not at their
- 18:50Speaker 1: own premiers. It's all about my project. That premiere is
- 18:52Speaker 1: about selling your project. It's like with QBC for five minutes,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you just sell, sell, sell. Tommy took a moment. It's okay,
- 19:00Speaker 1: now that should be a Nicest the day now our
- 19:02Speaker 1: official nicest of the day. Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Wow, Well payback is a bee as they say. Right.
- 19:08Speaker 2: So over the weekend we can SNL closed up their season,
- 19:12Speaker 2: their fiftieth season. Scarlett Johansson was the host and Weekend Update.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Her husband Colin Joe's hosts that segment every every week
- 19:20Speaker 2: with Michael Jay. And during Christmas and the last episode
- 19:24Speaker 2: of the season, Michael Jay and Colin Jos do this
- 19:27Speaker 2: thing where they swap jokes. They write jokes for each other,
- 19:31Speaker 2: but they cannot read them until they're live on the air.
- 19:33Speaker 2: So over Christmas, Michael Chay wrote some jokes about about
- 19:39Speaker 2: Scarlet for Colin Jos to read live on the air,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and it was about Scarlet's private areas.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Yes, very very racy.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So Colin got his payback by having his wife Scarlett,
- 19:50Speaker 2: sit right next to Michael as he read a formal
- 19:53Speaker 2: apology pretty much about Scarlet, about Scarlett and college and
- 19:59Speaker 2: how he came up from using crack in the bronx.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I love I love it, I love it, I love
- 20:08Speaker 1: they can laugh at together really great and nice of
- 20:10Speaker 1: the day. Now, and she's the Duchess of York, Sarah
- 20:14Speaker 1: Ferguson is claiming the Queen's dogs are talking to her.
- 20:16Speaker 1: So when the Queen died, Sarah and her husband Andrew
- 20:19Speaker 1: got the corky smart idea, because they're not going to
- 20:21Speaker 1: kick the corgies out of that house. As long as
- 20:22Speaker 1: the Queen's dogs are still alive, they'll keep that palace.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Now Sarah's claiming the dogs are talking to her. Let's
- 20:31Speaker 1: end with a moment of r there's no secret formula,
- 20:35Speaker 1: there's not You just got to show up. There's no
- 20:37Speaker 1: magic hack, there's no overnight trick, and there is no
- 20:40Speaker 1: shortcut to success. When you show up. You've got to
- 20:44Speaker 1: do it when you're tired, you've got to show up
- 20:45Speaker 1: when you're unsure, and you're got to show up with nobody.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Nobody is clapping for you, because that is how you
- 20:53Speaker 1: find success. That's all it is. There's no formula. You're
- 20:56Speaker 1: not going to be an overnight success. Just keep showing
- 21:00Speaker 1: and I promise it will happen. Hey, that is it
- 21:02Speaker 1: for today. Thank you so much for listening to They're Notody.
