Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah that Uh, Chuck Norris was chasing the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- 0:05Speaker 2: The rex was not chasing the jeep. Murray, Murray, you there.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You love sandwiches. Huh, Let's go to uh eighty. It
- 0:14Speaker 2: was bo wow that Prime Time. Maybe I had a
- 0:18Speaker 2: crush on Betty Rubbell.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I honestly, until after the segment ended and we went
- 0:22Speaker 1: to a commercial break, had no idea that Jonathan Coachman
- 0:25Speaker 1: was black.
- 0:25Speaker 2: He caught them the game last night, although they won
- 0:28Speaker 2: the game.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You're listening to Stug Gottson Company, Stu Godtson Company, presented
- 0:33Speaker 1: by Fandel and the FanDuel Sports Book is real good
- 0:36Speaker 1: eras Mikey a Taylor on zoom a very sad looking tailor.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It is a very depressed looking tailor atired looking tailor.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And that's because the Knicks have lost for the first
- 0:45Speaker 1: time in fourteen games.
- 0:47Speaker 2: They did so last night and it's a series. Boys,
- 0:50Speaker 2: we have ourselves at NBA Finals.
- 0:53Speaker 1: How about that makes me and Taylor miserable, makes Mikey,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I think, happy because he's been trying to jinz us
- 0:58Speaker 1: the entire time, and it makes is real Goodyeirez, who
- 1:01Speaker 1: yesterday I tried to claim that He's a nick fan
- 1:03Speaker 1: because his grandma's building in New York was featured in
- 1:06Speaker 1: a movie. He is just a static because he loves
- 1:10Speaker 1: the NBA and now he knows we have a series
- 1:12Speaker 1: that's gonna go likely six or seven games anyway.
- 1:16Speaker 3: For ten grand Street. Ali Berry's in the scene. But uh, Taylor,
- 1:24Speaker 3: I'm curious. I have a lot of questions for you.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And the first question is what level of hatred you
- 1:31Speaker 3: now have for Victor Wenbinyama because he tried to punk
- 1:35Speaker 3: your boy, Jalen Brunson. He pushed him in the back
- 1:37Speaker 3: of the neck and it was clearly a foul that
- 1:39Speaker 3: didn't get called. And he's been getting away with some
- 1:43Speaker 3: stuff throughout the playoffs that if you really studied him,
- 1:46Speaker 3: you'd be like, that guy looks a little dirty. I'm
- 1:48Speaker 3: not calling Victor Wenbinyama dirty. I'm just saying he's gotten
- 1:51Speaker 3: away with a few things your thoughts.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Don't worry, I'll do it for you. Victor wen Banyama dirty.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Victor wen Binyama is a scumbag, the one played by
- 1:59Speaker 4: Stefan scum bag.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Hold on a scumbag. That's a bit.
- 2:03Speaker 4: He's a He's a scumbag.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Video evidence out there, all right, I mean listen, there
- 2:08Speaker 1: were some calls like Jalen Brunton sticking his foot under
- 2:10Speaker 1: a guy shooting a three point shot is not you know, I.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Mean yeah, when Wemby did it though it wasn't called
- 2:17Speaker 2: that's a bag.
- 2:18Speaker 4: The one played by Stefan Castle that they reviewed for
- 2:21Speaker 4: a flagrant where he just runs through Jalen Brunson's chest,
- 2:25Speaker 4: that's a fair play. That that's physical playoff basketball. Wemby,
- 2:29Speaker 4: on the other hand, he is he is like taking
- 2:32Speaker 4: like cheap shots.
- 2:34Speaker 2: The one.
- 2:34Speaker 4: This is back to back games now because there was
- 2:36Speaker 4: the play last game in Game two with Jose Alvarado
- 2:40Speaker 4: where Jose Alvarado tries to just box out when Binyama
- 2:43Speaker 4: and he like swipes at at Alvarado. I hate Wehn Binyama.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Like people are like, oh, this guy's the face of
- 2:50Speaker 4: the league. This guy's French, this guy's this, this guy's that.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I don't want to like Wen Binyama, Like go fuck
- 2:57Speaker 4: off we Binyama.
- 2:58Speaker 2: There you go. That's all is he wanted? No, is
- 3:00Speaker 2: he listen to New York.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It's a great job by Israel Goodie eras because what
- 3:05Speaker 1: he's trying to establish it was all.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Funning games for the Knicks through two games, and you
- 3:09Speaker 2: know they.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Had all weekend a party like they won the NBA Finals,
- 3:13Speaker 1: coming home for a big game three at Mads that
- 3:15Speaker 1: square guarded and who's who showed up last night courtside
- 3:19Speaker 1: for the Knicks so many celebrities they had to put
- 3:22Speaker 1: some in the third and fourth rows. They just didn't
- 3:24Speaker 1: have enough room. And what is he wanted, and it's
- 3:28Speaker 1: old school, is to pull the hatred out of Taylor
- 3:32Speaker 1: because Wemby is not a guy until last night that
- 3:36Speaker 1: you went to sleep at night and said, you know what,
- 3:38Speaker 1: he's a scumbag.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I hate that guy. But now he is Wemby And
- 3:43Speaker 2: is he have drawn that out of Taylor? A Nick fan?
- 3:46Speaker 2: And that's exactly what is he wanted?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yes, I hated Michael Jordan, even while being impressed, but
- 3:52Speaker 1: I hated him because he was going to end my
- 3:55Speaker 1: team season just about every year?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Is he?
- 3:59Speaker 4: The popular thing today would be to blame the refs,
- 4:03Speaker 4: and that's exactly what I'm gonna do because they.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Were absolutely the rookie move.
- 4:08Speaker 4: This is the third straight game where it's been a
- 4:12Speaker 4: pretty pro Spurs whistle and some of them yesterday, like
- 4:16Speaker 4: that game was so choppy and it had no flow
- 4:19Speaker 4: to it, where I don't have a problem if the
- 4:21Speaker 4: refs aren't calling it on both sides. You just want
- 4:23Speaker 4: consistency from your referees.
- 4:25Speaker 2: To be fair.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I do believe that, Yeah, the referees had a problem
- 4:30Speaker 3: in this series. It's not been a very evenly called series.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It's not there's been a lot of fouls that you're
- 4:36Speaker 3: looking at it's like, okay. And then it's been this
- 4:38Speaker 3: phenomenon over the last couple of years, in particular in
- 4:40Speaker 3: the NBA playoffs where I don't know if you remember,
- 4:43Speaker 3: I think it was two years ago, it might have
- 4:44Speaker 3: even been three, where the players were complaining that the
- 4:47Speaker 3: fouls are too soft, the game was too soft, and
- 4:49Speaker 3: all of a sudden, the rest swallowed their whistles for
- 4:51Speaker 3: an entire playoffs, and it's like, okay, well, you can't
- 4:53Speaker 3: just go one extreme to the other. What was happening
- 4:56Speaker 3: in game two, I believe, is when you heard the
- 4:58Speaker 3: refs say, you heard thennouncer say, oh, they're really letting
- 5:01Speaker 3: him play, and then that's sort of carried over into
- 5:03Speaker 3: game three. That was that one play where Stefan Castle.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Had a layup.
- 5:07Speaker 3: He got fouled twice on the way to the rim,
- 5:09Speaker 3: once by Josh Harten, once by uh whoever was vertical
- 5:13Speaker 3: or thought he was vertical. I think it was og
- 5:14Speaker 3: and he just got to the floor and he was like,
- 5:17Speaker 3: how to the referees, how was that not a foul?
- 5:19Speaker 3: And I said at that moment, in my head, I
- 5:21Speaker 3: was like, they're gonna this game's gonna get away from them,
- 5:23Speaker 3: Like Stefan's gonna want to react and gonna want to,
- 5:26Speaker 3: you know, take somebody else out because he's not getting
- 5:28Speaker 3: any calls even though he's such an aggressor.
- 5:30Speaker 5: And that's kind of what started happening.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It's like a lot of physical play and not enough
- 5:34Speaker 3: whistles to match it. And I think that's probably going
- 5:37Speaker 3: to be as much as Taylor said, you know, it's
- 5:38Speaker 3: a popular thing and everybody, I don't care if you
- 5:40Speaker 3: get criticized for it. The officiating has been an issue
- 5:43Speaker 3: in this series. I'm not saying one team or the
- 5:45Speaker 3: other necessarily his favorite is getting favored.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Even though it kind of looks like it is.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I think it kind of is. I mean, isn't what
- 5:52Speaker 2: was it?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Twenty four to eight might have by coincidence, Yes, they
- 5:56Speaker 3: might be getting the who were.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Getting all the calls. They're up two games to one
- 6:01Speaker 1: and they're at home, I mean, so, I.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Mean it should be up four games to one.
- 6:07Speaker 3: That being said, this the beginning of this game, Taylor
- 6:10Speaker 3: and Stu was exactly what you were afraid of.
- 6:13Speaker 5: It was them going to the rim.
- 6:14Speaker 3: It was them having Ustefan Castle be hot and he's
- 6:17Speaker 3: not even you know, a guy you rely on every
- 6:19Speaker 3: every single night to get you the points.
- 6:21Speaker 5: And so they started off great and then Nicks.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Answered and I said to myself at some point there, Stu,
- 6:26Speaker 3: maybe this Knicks team is just a juggernaut, like it
- 6:29Speaker 3: doesn't matter what the Spurs do. And then you know,
- 6:32Speaker 3: maybe some of the whistles started going this first way.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So Izzy, it was interesting right in the second half,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and Mike Brown addressed it in the postgame press conference,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and you know, hopefully we'll help moving forward here in
- 6:42Speaker 1: game four. That's that's kind of the move for coaches
- 6:44Speaker 1: after they feel like they weren't on the better end
- 6:47Speaker 1: of the calls for most of the night.
- 6:49Speaker 2: So Mike Brown did what he had to do.
- 6:51Speaker 1: But is he to your point, You're right, Wemby in
- 6:53Speaker 1: that first quarter, that's exactly what you were talking about.
- 6:56Speaker 2: The things that make him special.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's not being able to shoot the three now naturally
- 7:00Speaker 1: like Steph Gurry from the logo. It's being able to
- 7:03Speaker 1: get in the paint like that, being taller than everyone
- 7:06Speaker 1: else and still being nimble enough and athletic enough to
- 7:09Speaker 1: make moves, drive to the paint on his own or
- 7:11Speaker 1: just get there via lobb or via pass. And he
- 7:14Speaker 1: was amazing in the first quarter, in the first half
- 7:17Speaker 1: last night, and really the entire game. But with all
- 7:19Speaker 1: that being said, and I couldn't believe it. The Knicks
- 7:22Speaker 1: were up seven or eight at halftime, and I'm like, man,
- 7:25Speaker 1: that was Wenby's best shot.
- 7:26Speaker 2: We're still up here. We're looking good. Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 4: The worst thing that happened to the Knicks is he
- 7:32Speaker 4: was the second quarter ending because they had all the
- 7:36Speaker 4: momentum halftime until rocking it. Let the Spurs go in
- 7:41Speaker 4: and reset and kind of refocus where their attention was
- 7:45Speaker 4: going to be in the second half. Because I thought,
- 7:48Speaker 4: even though the Knicks were only up seven at half,
- 7:51Speaker 4: I thought going into halftime that it had to be
- 7:53Speaker 4: too demoralizing for the Spurs to know that they've just
- 7:57Speaker 4: played probably their best you know whatever it was before
- 8:01Speaker 4: that Knicks run their their best stretch this series, and
- 8:04Speaker 4: to be down seven. And I think that's kind of
- 8:06Speaker 4: been a trend for this Knicks team this playoffs, where
- 8:10Speaker 4: even when the Spurs are playing their best basketball, you
- 8:13Speaker 4: look up at the scoreboard and you're like, oh, the
- 8:14Speaker 4: Knicks are only down like six, like one little run
- 8:17Speaker 4: by New York, and they're right back in this game.
- 8:19Speaker 4: They just didn't get that in the fourth quarter exactly.
- 8:22Speaker 3: That fourth quarter just started with a tiny Spurs running
- 8:25Speaker 3: all of a sudden, that seven point difference just felt insurmountable.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And they literally never never got again, and I never
- 8:32Speaker 3: got tied.
- 8:32Speaker 5: It up again.
- 8:33Speaker 3: And so it was, you know, shocking a little bit
- 8:37Speaker 3: to see the fourth quarter and the Knicks really.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Struggled to score.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I hate to say I told you so, but the
- 8:44Speaker 3: Michale Bridges hot streak was gonna end at some point,
- 8:47Speaker 3: and he, you know, barely shot the ball. I think
- 8:49Speaker 3: he's gotten to the point, Taylor, tell me if you
- 8:51Speaker 3: think I'm wrong here where because of his efficiency he
- 8:54Speaker 3: was only taking great shots and now in this game,
- 8:56Speaker 3: he again only took five shots, missed four, and it
- 8:59Speaker 3: was like, I'm good.
- 9:00Speaker 5: I don't get to be any more aggressive.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:03Speaker 4: I feel like as a whole, the Knicks didn't really
- 9:06Speaker 4: create a lot of high quality shot attempts like og
- 9:10Speaker 4: An Andobi was playing out of his mind, and a
- 9:12Speaker 4: lot of the shots that Ogi was taking were contested
- 9:15Speaker 4: shots where maybe a traditional basketball mine is like that's
- 9:19Speaker 4: not the best shot. But when Og had it going,
- 9:22Speaker 4: it's like, just just keep letting your offense go through Og.
- 9:26Speaker 4: All that being said, if you told me after Game
- 9:29Speaker 4: three the Knicks would be up to one, I would
- 9:32Speaker 4: take it every time.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the series that keeps starting. I mean I
- 9:36Speaker 2: was gonna say, what do you call a series that
- 9:38Speaker 2: won't stop starting?
- 9:42Speaker 1: It's now turned into like it has a chance to
- 9:44Speaker 1: be an all time series. Here, Taylor would prefer we
- 9:47Speaker 1: be up three to zero and a celebration be going on,
- 9:50Speaker 1: trying to close it out ones that night at the Garden.
- 9:52Speaker 2: We're not. We're going back to San Antonio. Sorry. Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Unfortunately, unfortunately San Antonio could write us a thank you
- 9:59Speaker 4: letter for their local economy for the next two months,
- 10:03Speaker 4: with how many New Yorkers are going to be in
- 10:04Speaker 4: Falty Game four as far as I'm concerned, Game four is.
- 10:08Speaker 5: For the series excel.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Huh, Well, they're going to have the life back, right,
- 10:13Speaker 3: the garden's not going to be blocked off because there's
- 10:15Speaker 3: not going to be the president at this game.
- 10:17Speaker 5: It's going to feel like a more natural game. It
- 10:19Speaker 5: is interesting though.
- 10:20Speaker 3: It feels like you blew the ogn Andob josh Hart
- 10:23Speaker 3: game right because josh Hart had four threes in that game,
- 10:26Speaker 3: and that's you know, that happens once every few games.
- 10:28Speaker 5: But you can't rely on that.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yes to get the Michale Bridges and Karl Anthony Towns
- 10:33Speaker 1: game though, right.
- 10:34Speaker 3: You didn't get enough of Cat and that to me
- 10:36Speaker 3: was a big difference. That guy was your you know,
- 10:38Speaker 3: he was the finals MVP going in. You got another
- 10:40Speaker 3: thirty piece from Jalen, but it wasn't very efficient. He
- 10:43Speaker 3: had the five turnovers. I think if you get you
- 10:45Speaker 3: know what you got close to in the first two
- 10:48Speaker 3: games from Karl Anthony Towns, I think they win this game.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Is could you could talk about how like inefficient the
- 10:54Speaker 4: Knicks were shooting, You could talk about the refs. For me,
- 10:57Speaker 4: the game comes down to the Knicks not really playing
- 11:00Speaker 4: up to their standard. Where the Spurs scored twenty one
- 11:04Speaker 4: points off thirteen Knick turnovers, the Knicks scored seven points
- 11:08Speaker 4: off eight Spurs turnovers. That really feels like where the
- 11:11Speaker 4: game was won and lost.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Well.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Definitely between games one and three, the Spurs have sort
- 11:16Speaker 3: of settled down on the turnovers and that's huge for them. Obviously,
- 11:19Speaker 3: eight turnovers in a finals road game, that's incredible.
- 11:34Speaker 1: What was Landry Shamit thinking when he drove to the
- 11:36Speaker 1: basket of Victor weban Yama, like he thought that was
- 11:39Speaker 1: gonna end well, that was such a good defensive possession right.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Where the Knicks are just like, oh, let me close
- 11:45Speaker 3: this drive, let me close out this, let me drive
- 11:47Speaker 3: this close out, let me drive this close out. It's
- 11:49Speaker 3: like one of these has to be open. And sham
- 11:51Speaker 3: It's like, oh, nope, that that.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Was not the wood. That was not the wood.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Is he wasn't the big difference.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I guess the way San Antonio defended, they were way
- 12:00Speaker 1: more aggressive and then they had Wemby in the paint
- 12:04Speaker 1: in the middle for most of the night. But they
- 12:06Speaker 1: were just aggressive with those four guards and they were
- 12:09Speaker 1: so aggressive. Just Karl Anthony Towns wasn't really freed up.
- 12:12Speaker 1: They were playing Brunson so far out Castle was. He's
- 12:15Speaker 1: such an aggressive defender, he's such a good player, and
- 12:18Speaker 1: he was great last night. But that defense, for me,
- 12:21Speaker 1: was the big difference San Antonio's defense last night. And
- 12:24Speaker 1: getting Wemby back in the middle as opposed to being
- 12:26Speaker 1: out in the corner for me was the big difference
- 12:29Speaker 1: because when he's there, he just impassed your thoughts, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And it looked like in you know, the games in
- 12:35Speaker 3: San Antonio, especially in game two, they were still figuring out,
- 12:38Speaker 3: like you're saying, where best to position Wemby. There was
- 12:41Speaker 3: a couple of situations where they he got isoed on
- 12:43Speaker 3: Jalen Brunson because they ended up switching and as much
- 12:47Speaker 3: as he's got that size of event and that's not
- 12:48Speaker 3: a great matchup because he gives them too much space
- 12:50Speaker 3: and Jalen's just too smart with that. But yeah, they
- 12:53Speaker 3: did figure out some stuff. Let's see, Okay, he had
- 12:56Speaker 3: three blocks last night, so it feels like he's had
- 12:59Speaker 3: more of an packed in that game and and sort
- 13:01Speaker 3: of altering things. But again, the Knick shot forty five
- 13:04Speaker 3: percent from the floor, wasn't even their worst shooting performance
- 13:06Speaker 3: for the series.
- 13:07Speaker 5: And yeah, if you get.
- 13:09Speaker 3: A little bit more aggressive Mikhale Bridges, and if you
- 13:12Speaker 3: get anything out of Landry Shammitt, because you knew that
- 13:14Speaker 3: playing Landry Shammitt twenty five minutes a game, you were
- 13:17Speaker 3: gonna get one or two stinkers.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Yes, Now, I don't think it mattered because it looked
- 13:21Speaker 4: like Victor Wenbinyama was streaking to the basket and would
- 13:24Speaker 4: have got any put back. But for as bad as
- 13:27Speaker 4: Darren Fox was yesterday, I am shocked that he made
- 13:31Speaker 4: that pull up to kind of put the dagger in
- 13:34Speaker 4: the Knicks to go up five. Where if he misses
- 13:37Speaker 4: that and some for some reason, the ball kicks one
- 13:40Speaker 4: way and the Knicks get the ball and call all
- 13:41Speaker 4: time out, Nicks have a chance to shoot a three
- 13:44Speaker 4: and tie the game.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeaheah.
- 13:46Speaker 3: They then spurs got I mean, this is silly to say,
- 13:48Speaker 3: right because they'd be down three, but so obviously they'd
- 13:52Speaker 3: be in danger.
- 13:52Speaker 5: But I don't know if Daron Fox is just.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Like getting lucky, like you said, because he's been having
- 13:58Speaker 3: these terrible shooting performance his last night. Dylan Harper was
- 14:01Speaker 3: not as good You know, five of eighteen from the field,
- 14:03Speaker 3: one of eight from three, so not somebody that you
- 14:05Speaker 3: could say, hey, he should replace Darren Fox. But going
- 14:08Speaker 3: into this game, the numbers with Victor Winbinyama and Dylan
- 14:11Speaker 3: Harper on.
- 14:11Speaker 5: The floor together were fantastic.
- 14:13Speaker 3: They were outscoring the Knicks by twenty some points, and
- 14:17Speaker 3: Darren Fox is just leaving a lot to be desired,
- 14:19Speaker 3: especially early in the game. So I don't know if like,
- 14:22Speaker 3: it's probably not something to think about now, but Dylan
- 14:24Speaker 3: Harper starting over Darren Fox eventually has to happen, right,
- 14:27Speaker 3: Either that or they're starting next to each other and
- 14:29Speaker 3: making a smaller backcourt. But it just feels like Dylan
- 14:32Speaker 3: Harper has more of a handle of the game at
- 14:35Speaker 3: times than Darren Fox.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Taylor, we didn't get a good game from Shamitt, but
- 14:39Speaker 1: the game we wasted last night, we'll never get this
- 14:41Speaker 1: game again, was the Jordan Clarkson game.
- 14:44Speaker 5: I mean, well, they hadn't even been playing in the
- 14:47Speaker 5: first two games.
- 14:49Speaker 4: God was a couple of minutes away from getting a statue.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I mean Jesus when the Knicks signed Jordan. Jordan Clarkson
- 14:55Speaker 4: has always been on my like, you know, if you
- 14:58Speaker 4: guys probably don't know this because it's this kind of deranged.
- 15:01Speaker 4: But I just keep a list of running guys that
- 15:03Speaker 4: I would like my teams to sign. Jordan Clarkson is
- 15:07Speaker 4: always near the top of that list.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Second, where is this at all times? Twenty years ago?
- 15:14Speaker 3: Where is this list at all times?
- 15:16Speaker 5: Is it on your phone?
- 15:17Speaker 3: Is it like one of those Cleveland Browns quarterbacks lists
- 15:19Speaker 3: that you just keep adding to the bottom of It's.
- 15:21Speaker 4: A running list on my notesap and I don't speak
- 15:24Speaker 4: any of the names that are on the list because
- 15:26Speaker 4: I don't want to jinx them coming to the Knicks.
- 15:28Speaker 4: But right now I'll tell you I've got two of
- 15:31Speaker 4: them on my team, Jose Alvarado Wow and Jordan Clarkson.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Like guys with braids.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I have I have one of those lists too,
- 15:40Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes, Derrick Henry, I have one of those lists.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I got a list too, terrible.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Yet, of course.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I want to see this derange list. I want to
- 15:59Speaker 2: see that list.
- 16:00Speaker 3: And I still need to see the list of stugats
- 16:02Speaker 3: that in case he dies overnight, these are the people
- 16:05Speaker 3: who might be responsible.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I know the updated top ten.
- 16:07Speaker 1: It's a list I leave for the police in the
- 16:09Speaker 1: event that I go missing and people want to know
- 16:11Speaker 1: where I am, I give them clues.
- 16:13Speaker 2: To who might who may have done it.
- 16:16Speaker 4: So so I treat this list almost like a birthday wish,
- 16:21Speaker 4: where if I say it, it won't come true. The
- 16:24Speaker 4: only name I'll share on the list because I don't
- 16:26Speaker 4: think it's realistic that the Knicks could get this guy.
- 16:28Speaker 4: And it can't be like it can't be the star
- 16:31Speaker 4: star players because obviously you take any of those star players,
- 16:35Speaker 4: right Jad McDaniels, Is he, oh.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Wow, wow you got an up and coming star.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yes, you kind of turned into a store this postseason.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that you just want to take all the
- 16:46Speaker 3: Minnesota Timberwells good players.
- 16:49Speaker 4: And then another classic crazed fan instance here is he
- 16:56Speaker 4: after your team loses, you have to propose some rules
- 17:00Speaker 4: changes that you didn't see that went your way. I
- 17:03Speaker 4: have two rule changes that I think the NBA needs
- 17:05Speaker 4: to enact after Game three. The challenge rule. It's crazy
- 17:11Speaker 4: that you get one challenge. If you get it right,
- 17:13Speaker 4: you get a second. Why do you not get a
- 17:15Speaker 4: third if the second is right.
- 17:17Speaker 3: It's the stupidest thing in the world. The referees can
- 17:20Speaker 3: only be wrong twice. Per team, which is absolutely insane.
- 17:24Speaker 5: I magin the.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Feeling when they're the refs must feel so good when
- 17:28Speaker 3: those challenges are over and done with, it's like, finally nobody.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Can question me.
- 17:31Speaker 5: Whistle whistle. It's gotta be crazy, but yees.
- 17:34Speaker 3: The fact that they can't be corrected again is so stupid.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It's I love how much detail the referee was given
- 17:40Speaker 2: last night, Like he's naming names.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know, Wemby pulled on his elbow and so he
- 17:44Speaker 1: was like, do him play by play?
- 17:46Speaker 5: Also, how about call him by his name. It's not Wenby, it's.
- 17:50Speaker 1: No, no, no, I like the nicknames all redoing right,
- 17:55Speaker 1: it feels like favoritism.
- 17:57Speaker 5: You're calling him by his nickname.
- 17:58Speaker 2: No, they're like Carl.
- 17:59Speaker 1: He's like Carl grabbed Webb's arm under his arm He's
- 18:02Speaker 1: like giving you play by play as to why he
- 18:04Speaker 1: called it the way he called it and how we
- 18:06Speaker 1: saw it After reviewing it, I thought it was great.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I want him to call him the alien grabbed the
- 18:10Speaker 1: alien's army ummy.
- 18:14Speaker 4: The second rule is he that I want changed the
- 18:18Speaker 4: Mitch Johnson sending somebody to the scores table because he
- 18:25Speaker 4: just there. They have no intention some time Yeah, they
- 18:29Speaker 4: never have any intention to sub there. It's just put
- 18:31Speaker 4: a guy there by some time so the analytics guys
- 18:35Speaker 4: can look at their iPads and tell you if you
- 18:37Speaker 4: should challenge or not telling those guys really neat, Yes, exactly.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Dylan Harper walks onto the court the Knicks. The refs
- 18:47Speaker 4: let the Knicks inbound the ball. There's six men on
- 18:49Speaker 4: the court. Now. I don't think it should have been
- 18:50Speaker 4: a technical foul because I don't think it was the
- 18:53Speaker 4: Spurs fault. I think it was just a miscommunication between
- 18:56Speaker 4: the refs. But but because of Mitch j installing tactic,
- 19:01Speaker 4: it just causes so much confusion.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's absolutely ridiculous that they allow it. It's a
- 19:05Speaker 3: delay a game penalty. It should be every time. They'll
- 19:08Speaker 3: probably fix that this offseason, but yeah, it's I think
- 19:12Speaker 3: the whole challenge system is odd because.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Yeah, the game happens fast.
- 19:16Speaker 3: You inbound the ball, you get the ball to the
- 19:18Speaker 3: ref and go, and if you have to stall the
- 19:20Speaker 3: game just to see that, I hate that idea. And
- 19:23Speaker 3: this is where you know, I feel like maybe replay
- 19:25Speaker 3: has gone too far in the game that because it
- 19:27Speaker 3: plays so fast that you just can't really slow it
- 19:29Speaker 3: down for replay, but that part they're probably just going
- 19:32Speaker 3: to take that out. It's like, hey, if you bring
- 19:33Speaker 3: up a sub, that sub has to go into the game.
- 19:35Speaker 3: There's no way to just pull them back, or they
- 19:37Speaker 3: just call it delay a game.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I think it's bothersome when it impacts your team, but
- 19:41Speaker 1: when it helps your team, you don't hear a word
- 19:43Speaker 1: about it.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Last night, I mean Wemby.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Did Wenby have a three overturn because a defender was
- 19:49Speaker 1: pushed into him and then the Knicks came down.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So it was a five point swing in that spot.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm certain you like the refs takeing their time and
- 19:55Speaker 1: doing it and doing all the replay and interrupting the
- 19:57Speaker 1: game at that point.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Right, No, because they got the Now, they got that
- 20:01Speaker 5: one wrong. I thought the shot should have counted because
- 20:03Speaker 5: the foul was.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Occurring as Victor women Yama was going up for the shot.
- 20:07Speaker 3: He did not get that shot off as a result
- 20:09Speaker 3: of the offensive foul, nor did the offensive ful happen first.
- 20:12Speaker 3: So to me, three points should have been good.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But I hear what you're saying to So this is
- 20:17Speaker 1: how these NBA series work. Where Taylor or both of
- 20:20Speaker 1: us were mikey A, we're celebrating, like, you know, we're
- 20:23Speaker 1: about to win an NBA title, and now you can
- 20:26Speaker 1: see the other side is he I couldn't see it
- 20:28Speaker 1: until last night, until after the game.
- 20:30Speaker 2: And the other side is, oh, we.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Could also lose this NBA Finals because this Burs team
- 20:37Speaker 1: is really good.
- 20:37Speaker 2: And it's how the series works.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Yes, if you told Taylor before the series, after three
- 20:42Speaker 1: games you're up to one with a home game at
- 20:44Speaker 1: the Mecca, of course you.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Would take it.
- 20:46Speaker 1: But how you get up to one with a home
- 20:49Speaker 1: game at the Mecca is also very important. And so
- 20:52Speaker 1: it's gonna be a very nervous night for Nick fans
- 20:55Speaker 1: and San Antonio fans coming up here on Wednesday night.
- 20:58Speaker 3: You know who doesn't seem nervous the guy who's at
- 21:00Speaker 3: Central Park drawing before the game, Victor Miama, Like, I
- 21:04Speaker 3: don't know what you guys thought about that, but I'm
- 21:06Speaker 3: just like, well, I mean, he no matter what he
- 21:09Speaker 3: does in public, he's not gonna be able to hide.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Everybody's gonna see him. And it's like if.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Dude's just trying to kill time, It's like you were
- 21:14Speaker 3: talking yesterday, Stude, the clock was going way too slow,
- 21:17Speaker 3: and for Victor, he's like, yeah, I'm just gonna go
- 21:18Speaker 3: outside and draw.
- 21:19Speaker 5: When I saw that, I was like, yeah, this person
- 21:20Speaker 5: winning this game.
- 21:23Speaker 4: I'm an unnecessary correction Grammercy Park.
- 21:26Speaker 5: So it's completely unnecessary. I don't even know where grammar
- 21:28Speaker 5: Suy Park is.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But how do you feel about the drawing, Like is
- 21:31Speaker 1: that is that a regular thing for him? Did he
- 21:33Speaker 1: do it like just you know, for aesthetics, Like, Hey,
- 21:36Speaker 1: look how relaxed I am. I'm out in the park.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm drawing before the biggest game in the history of
- 21:40Speaker 1: the NBA. I mean, get over yourself. Serious fucking French.
- 21:44Speaker 1: He's probably never drawn before. It's serious as first time. Hey,
- 21:48Speaker 1: someone get me a pan of paper and some pencils
- 21:50Speaker 1: and let me go draw so I could look like
- 21:52Speaker 1: a calm before the game.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Enough, you can draw my middle finger Wenby.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I
