- 0:00SPEAKER_01: We tend to try to be perfectionists and we tend to view a lot of our experiences as a destination that we need to reach.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: And this living embodied in the truth of who you are, right?
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: And living in the present, it's not a destination.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: It's an ongoing journey.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: It is a devotion.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: It's a choice, a conscious choice to wake up every day and set that as your intention in everything that you're choosing to do.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: There is content being created and energetics being cultivated around things that cater to the ego specifically that hook people in.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I'm Elise Bassine, trauma and breathwork expert and creator of the Metamorphosis Method, the only methodology bridging the gap between spiritual healing and clinical trauma work.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: In this podcast, you'll discover my unique perspective on trauma healing and how it is the gateway to fully reclaiming your consciousness.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: You'll hear stories and teachings that expand your mind as you discover how every relationship challenge, business block, or limiting pattern is an invitation to reclaim the parts of your consciousness you unknowingly gave away.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So this week I have a conversation for you that I had with Jennifer Spohr, who I've been on her podcast before, but she's never been on mine.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And I have another episode coming out on her podcast soon.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: But she is a spiritual teacher and a coach.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And I've known her for a long time, basically since I started my business.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: We were in a mastermind together with Betty, which we'll you'll hear us talk about a little bit.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And um, we, you know, just sustained a friendship and we have a really powerful conversation about a lot of different things, mainly her take on what it really means to operate from your true authenticity.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And she has some really powerful thoughts around that that I think will really resonate with you guys.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: It did with me.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: And then we get into some of the dynamics that we experience together in the coaching space.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: And I think you're really going to enjoy this conversation.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And I would love to hear what you think.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: So please reach out to me either on Instagram at elise underscore breeds or email me at infodelisebreeds.com to let me know your thoughts because I love hearing from you guys.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And also don't forget to rate and review the show.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: When you do, just send me a screenshot and you'll receive a$250 credit to joining anything new in my world.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: So having said that, the Metamorphosis is starting up again next week on Tuesday, June 3rd.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: And that would be a great way to apply your credit to joining the Metamorphosis.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: You can get$250 off your first payment.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: If you have never done the Metamorphosis before and you don't know a whole lot about it, it is my flagship program.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: It is my body of work to heal, dissolve, and permanently shift the trauma that stops you from creating the relationships, the business, the career, the freedom, the confidence that you truly desire and know you deserve without spending years in therapy or reliving every childhood memory.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And the results speak for themselves.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: There's tons of testimonials on the podcast and on my website of women who've created miraculous transformation in the program.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: I absolutely love this program because I've made things as simple as possible for you to address the core, what I call your core wound, what is holding you back and change it efficiently and quickly.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: So that is starting up again next week, and it is a 12-week program.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: You receive a ton of support.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: I support you four days a week in Telegram.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: And the reason why I do that is because I strongly believe in for my work that supporting you daily in real time is what gets the best results.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So I never understood the whole therapy model of I just will talk to you once a week.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: That doesn't make sense to me because then if you have something come up and you're not sure how to handle it, or you have emotions coming up and you need support, you shouldn't have to wait an entire week to get that support or receive feedback or context for what's happening.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: So with all of my programs and ways that I work with people, metamorphosis, private, the mothership, you receive daily support.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: So I can walk you through exactly what's happening in real time and help you navigate triggers and also give you a context for what's actually happening.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: And I think that's one of the most valuable things about the program is you start to understand why you have the same patterns coming up over and over again, why you keep thinking the same thing over and over again, why you feel how you feel, why you have certain stories that you tell yourself that limit you.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And once you understand the context for that, and then you learn my process for shifting it, which is very simple, then all of these things become much easier to navigate.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't feel like you're banging your head against the wall or like it's something that is elusive to you and you don't know how to fix it or change it.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: Please reach out to me if you'd like to chat more about joining.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I'm happy to hop on a call with you.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I will link, I will put the link below to schedule a call with me if you are interested in joining and want to chat with me about your specific situation.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Also, don't forget, if you haven't already, to download my new private podcast.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: It's called the Core Wound Solution, and I explain my simple process of pinpointing and dissolving the one thing from your past that's impacting your present so that you can create the changes you want in your life now.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Okay, I will leave it there.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: I know you're gonna enjoy this episode with Jennifer.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Don't forget to reach out, don't forget to rate and review the show and send me your screenshot so you can get that$250 off the Metamorphosis.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I'm sending you lots of love.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Enjoy the episode.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited to introduce you to today's guest.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: I had to like literally just hit record because we were having the best conversation off the recording.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, wait, we have to just get on and talk about this.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: So today I have with me spiritual mentor and multidimensional healer, Jennifer Spohr.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Jennifer, welcome to the show.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: Thanks, Elise.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to be here and to reconnect with you.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: We go back a few years.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Like, I think you're one of the first people I met when I started my business and started working with the same coach that we both worked with.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: And it's actually the same coach that we've been talking about on the podcast that we won't say her name and we're calling her Betty.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna talk a little bit about that and also just about you and your amazing work and your perspective.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: So, should we just hick up where we left off before I hit record?
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: Sounds great.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Let's just dive in.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's just dive in.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: And again, because we're in the middle of this series and we both worked with this coach, and you came in and you we were talking about one of the things that's so important for you right now in your work with clients and also you're writing books.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: And and one of the things is really showing up and living your life as the embodiment of your truth, your authenticity, and not just saying it or knowing what that is, but also living it and like what that actually means.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And one of the things that occurred to me, and one of the things I've been processing in terms of this podcast series that's coming out and people reaching out to me is the way that I dropped my power in the presence of this coach and how as I reflect back on it, it still is puzzling to me because I am able to hold my power in so many situations.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: I know what my truth is, but in the presence of this person, it felt almost impossible for me.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: And I would love your perspective on that, not only from your experience with this coach, but also just your perspective in general as to like why we drop our power and how we can hold our power and our truth and embody that more, even in the face of something like this.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: They're both certainly interconnected, you know, why we choose not to show up on our truth.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: And the story I'm going to share about my own journey, I feel explains exactly that.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: So we were talking about this before we hit record, and this particular coach that I worked with, looking back on the experience after I chose to step out of that sphere, basically, I'll just call it, I realized that this person did have a real gift and a neat gift for tuning into people and to their energy and to their core wounds.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: And something I didn't mention before we hit record today also is that I've noticed, just knowing that there were other people besides myself who had this similar journey with this person, is that every person also is very gifted.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: So there was like this harvesting or this siphoning of energy as well.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: So, anyway, so my own journey, what I realized looking back on it after it was all over is that she was very good at tuning into people's energies and basically also tuning into what your core wounds would be and pinpointing specifically where there would be, I'll just call them openings.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: Everyone's heard that saying, pouring salt in the wound.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: And what would happen with that is that with my own wounds, there was a mother wound that still required some additional healing.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: There was a sisterhood wound as well.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: So, similar to what you were sharing with me about your own experience, Elise, I would not feel in my power, even though I had a pretty clear sense of who I was.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: It's just like the energetics would just shift whenever I was in an interaction with her.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: So that combined with my natural inclination to see the bigger picture of things and to be the person that's the bigger person, the person that's forgiving and all of that mixed together essentially was in a good combination at the time.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: And it took me a while to process all of that, but I learned so much from it in the sense of where there were parts of me that were coming forward that needed to be essentially fortified, more solidified in my sense of self.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm sharing this because I know so many of us, and I say us as a collective, experience this as well.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: We know we're on an ascension journey.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: We know that it's important to live our truth, to live authentically, to show up as who we really are.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: And that's not so much the question in this conversation.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: It's more about, okay, so you know that, but how much do you actually live that through your body?
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: You know that.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: But in what areas of your life do you still make exceptions to that, right?
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: Where you're compromising your integrity in your relationship with your mentor, you know, with your spouse, with family members, with clients, with other people.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: That whole experience back then really helped me to get even more deeply embodied in living the truth of who I am and not compromising that and also really sharpening my discernment around who I'm allowing into my field at all.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: And I want to elaborate on what I just said to say I am not saying that from a place of fear, and I'm not saying that from a space of where I'm telling your listeners, don't trust people.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: That's not what I'm saying at all.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: What I'm saying is be really fortified and embodied in the truth of who you are, in having clarity around your sense of self and using that as the basis to navigate your entire journey, right?
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So whether it's a new mentor that comes along, another soul sister, or whatever else it is, you immediately know in your being if it's a yes or a no, because you're really clear in the foundation of who you are.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love that.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of things that I wanted to ask you.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: But one of the things that I think I get questions like this a lot, and I'm curious about your perspective on it.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: So, for example, with this particular coach that we're talking about, when I heard her on a podcast, I immediately was like, I know I need to work with her.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: I need to work with this person, right?
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And that was my intuition.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of people could look at that experience and say, Oh, see, your intuition was wrong.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: You can't trust your intuition because that was a quote unquote bad experience.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: What do you say to that whole thing?
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that how we feel at whatever time or moment we feel it in isn't wrong.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: That is an extension of separation consciousness, beating ourselves up for it felt right at the time, and then it turned out this way.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: You know, what's wrong with me?
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: There's nothing wrong with you.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: You made the decision to the best of your ability at the frequency that you were at, where you were in your journey for that time.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: We're never ever wrong for the actions that we take or how we feel.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: They're all experiences.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: What it's more about is the perspective that we develop that we cultivate from those experiences moving forward.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's the nature of the journey that we have here in embodying our soul self and embodying our divinity in our human bodies.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: It's this whole journey of evolution and learning.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: We take the steps that we feel intuitively or believe we need to take at the time.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: And then, and then it's about how they are crystallized into wisdom moving forward.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: And then some of us feel guided, right, on a more global level to share those experiences with others.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: There's two more things I want to say in response to this.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: One is that sometimes our intuition, our soul will actually lead us into experiences that turn out in an adverse way because it's part of our blueprint, right?
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: It's part of our evolution.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: So there's that.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: And then the other part is from a marketing standpoint, definitely the person that we both worked with, and I've seen this happen in other spaces as well, is that there is content being created and energetics being cultivated around things that cater to the ego specifically that hook people in.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Money is a big one.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: I feel like the tide is turning around what I'm talking about.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: Like we're stepping in the industry as a whole.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: I see and feel that we're stepping into a place of more integrity around that.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: Especially when you're an entrepreneur and you're not feeling stable in your business, of course you're going to be concerned about money.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: It's all about what space you're choosing to step into that endeavor with another coach from.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: Are you stepping into that space from a place of fear?
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Or are you stepping into that space from a place of really wanting to learn and grow and cultivate?
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: There's a big difference in that.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: There's something that I say often, which is that when you make the paradigm shift from looking at something as a problem to solve to a skill to acquire, that's a game changer.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: So when you can start looking at making your decisions from looking at them as a skill to acquire.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: No, that's so true.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: I love that because I've been thinking about this too from the perspective of now when I hire people to help me, it's because there's a skill I want to acquire.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Like it's because they, there's a specific thing I want to learn from them.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: It's not because I just think they know more than me or they're all knowing.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And that's the dynamic that I feel like happened in these spaces where that's what it became about.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: And then it was not, there wasn't even a lot of like business coaching going on.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: It was more about this person is like proclaiming to know the truth about everything in the world.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: And I think that was the part that became dangerous.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: And I do agree with you.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: I think that a lot of the marketing tactics then were, well, we're out of integrity, in my opinion, but also focused really around money and talking about it in these ways that is just like, what?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Is that even possible?
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what hooked a lot of people in, especially during that 2020 era.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Because there was just so much upheaval going on such a global level.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: I just feel like the population was so vulnerable to manipulation because people's lives were being upended.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: They were losing their jobs or also becoming teachers when we know not all parents are resourced to be good teachers for their kids at home.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: People were so vulnerable, so much more vulnerable during that time.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: And I want to also say money is important.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: It's important to pay your bills, and money is the current valuation system that we use in this world.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: I can have a whole podcast episode to talk about how I believe that valuation system is shifting and changing, and there are big changes coming and happening.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: But it's important to just know that money is more of an energy.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: But what was happening with those marketing tactics is that people were being hooked in based upon their fears.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: Not based upon what they really wanted to do to grow and to cultivate their own skills.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: And just curious too, like, how do you see money evolving?
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: In terms of how it's evolving in a context that's more in our immediate future, right?
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Like you can see blockchain crypto is a perfect example of that, right?
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: I'm not an investment expert, and you don't have to be to be in tune to some of this stuff that's happening, just even looking at uh the regular updates as far as what's happening in the stock markets, what's happening with currency valuation.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're on the verge of a collapse.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: And eventually, when the currency does collapse, stuff like crypto, right, is a great example of an alternative way that we would be spending and conducting exchanges with each other.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: I've also had bigger visions about institutions collapsing, which some of them are already now.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: I've actually seen where we're living in like these awakened communities, in much smaller clusters of awakened communities, and there is a lot more trade happening, you know, beyond stuff like crypto as a currency.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: Yet our technology is very advanced as well.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: That's the thing, we've barely scratched the surface of our ascension as a collective humanity.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: And as we continue to ascend more and more, our perspectives and level of importance that we put on stuff like paper money and currency and many other institutions, it shifts.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: And there isn't as much of a need for it anymore because we're literally shifting our reality around it.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: I I agree with with a lot of what you said, and I and I see that too.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: I definitely think that even just looking at all of the astrology that's happening and from a human design perspective, like there like are major energetic shifts happening.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: And I definitely think there's gonna be more focus on the individual and like you said, like smaller-minded communities, and not everybody has to agree.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: Like it's already no one agrees, and it's like a ridiculous feat to try to get everyone to agree on like reality.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: Like basically everyone is walking around living in their own reality.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: So, like, so like, why not not everyone who basically agrees on some version of reality or just likes each other, get together and make their own community based on like their reality.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't matter if anyone else agrees with them, who cares?
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Then there's people that you know wanna believe other stuff, they can go, who cares?
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Everybody just do what makes you happy and build community with the people that you want to be with.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: And I think we're gonna see more of that, like those smaller like clusters of community.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I already see that in certain ways happening, but I think it's gonna be more and more.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: So I totally agree with you on that.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, the other thing that I think is is part of it too is when we talk about money, I think we used to have more of this like lack and scarcity mindset where it's like you have to stockpile it because what if something terrible happens?
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And not to say you shouldn't have savings or whatever, but I'm just saying I think it's gonna be more about the present moment.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: And I think one of the things that I've been called towards is really taking the value off of my circumstances to make me feel safe and stable, to just feeling safe and stable within myself.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: And then like my circumstances can always like line up to reflect that back to me.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: It's more about the feeling that you have within you in the present moment and not so much about needing things to be a certain way for you to feel okay.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: What you said about living in the present moment is really key.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure you've talked about this before, and and I talk about it all the time too.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: There really is only the now.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: The past, present, and future is all essentially just a way for our human mind to be able to wrap its isolated self around the enormity of creation, right?
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: When you're living really clear in your truth in the sense of who you are, you're automatically living much more in the present.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: And I also want to say that because our human selves, we tend to try to be perfectionists and we tend to view a lot of our experiences as a destination that we need to reach.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: And this living embodied in your in the truth of who you are, right?
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: And living in the present, it's not a destination, it's an ongoing journey.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: It is a devotion, it's a choice, a conscious choice to wake up every day and set that as your intention in everything that you're choosing to do.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: And it sounds so simple, and it is so simple, but it is a skill, right?
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: Working a muscle that you you choose to show up to on an everyday basis.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: And one of the things, like I was having, I don't even know if I would call it a download, but do you know how like sometimes you'll just all of a sudden, like in a minute, you see everything from this really higher perspective?
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: I had one of those, whatever you want to call, whatever you want to call that a moment, like an event.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or whatever.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: I'm always like, I'm like, feel like I'm tripping on acid all day.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know what I'm doing.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: But anyway, so I was like downstairs in the kitchen and like I had this like big feeling where I was like, oh my God, all the things I'm like trying to do, right?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Grow this business and get to this certain point with our finances and then the things we want to do, it's almost like I had this awareness that if I just figured out the key to the puzzle or something, or I just knew the key to the puzzle, then it would be like, what's the point?
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: I came here to play the game and figure out the game and like how to get to the next level.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: But if I didn't have to figure out the game, then what would I be doing?
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: And I was just like, oh, like it's not supposed to be easy.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: I'm like supposed to be, oh I'm supposed to be playing this game.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, like that's the thing too, is that even we are programmed to believe that we need to apply meaning and definition to everything.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Like we're really good at compartmentalizing everything, all of our experiences, which is also an extension of nurturing that separation consciousness, right?
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: It's what even is easy, right?
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Like when you decide that it's just going to be your experience and going back to looking at it as a skill to cultivate.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: And also like the other thing, too, is it's all relative, right?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Because, like, for example, like I always have these moments where if I think something in my life is hard, and then I see someone else who like I look at their circumstances, I'm like, oh my God.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: And this would happen to me a lot when I was a school counselor too, because I worked in really rough areas.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: But it's stuff like that where then I'm like, oh, like it's all relative.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: And then there's someone who has it way better than me who thinks their life sucks too.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: It's just, it's all perspective.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: And Robin and I were just talking about this on our live, because I think a lot of people, and I even said this when our first the episode came out last week of my story.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: And I kept saying to people, because all these people are reaching out to me, and I kept saying to people, yeah, but mine's the least bad out of everyone's.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Like everyone else is worse than mine.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: And I don't know why I felt the need to say that because it's not even actually true.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: But I feel like I was trying to like make it like mine wasn't that bad or something.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: It's all relative.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Just because I didn't have this one experience that maybe someone else did, it doesn't mean that it didn't impact me really deeply.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: And I think everyone has their own level of challenges or problems or things that come up for them to get over as just like part of the human experience.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: And there's no really comparing it.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's so true.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: There's no comparing it, and our comparing and our minimizing, which I've been there too, it's all a form of judgment and again, compartmentalization.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: Trying to make sense of it, I feel, is also like separation consciousness.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Our human mind, yeah, trying to make sense of it.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: And and I I feel guided to mention to everyone listening as well, right?
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: That our human mind is very valuable, our human mind has a purpose in collaborating with our soul-level self and having this experience here.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: But the reason why I'm sure you talk about this, and the reason why I talk about this so much, the importance of being acutely tuned into that intuitive voice and your soul's guidance, is because your human mind only has that kind of one-dimensional, that one perspective of your experience here based upon what's happened in the past or what's currently happening for you in your circumstances, where your soul-level self has that eternal perspective and it knows beyond your human mind why you're having the experience that you're having or why the deeper why behind the choices that you're making.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: And that's why comparison is really, it's literally just like banging your head against the wall because you really don't know because you're not the other person, right?
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: You don't know at a soul level what they've signed up here to experience, or for that matter, even what the collective of all of their human experiences have been here in their current life.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: You just can't know.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: It's impossible to know.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: No, it's impossible.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: And it's also impossible to understand someone's experience of what happened to them, too.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Because you could look at someone's like circumstances and make a judgment about what their experience is, but you actually could never know what their actual experience was of those circumstances.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: And to add to that, it took me a bit of space and time to process the experience I had with the person that we both worked with.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: I did reach a space where now I look at that situation and that person from a space of compassion because what must they be going through or having experienced to project that onto other people?
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for sure.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm curious to know, speaking of making sense and not needing to make sense, I'm curious though, as you processed it, because I know for me it took a really long time to process, and it would be like random times I would think of something, like an interaction or something she said, and be like, oh my God, that was so fucked up.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: And then it was like a gradual connecting the dots.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm curious, like what that was like for you.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: First of all, what made you leave?
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: And then also like, how did you start to make sense of it in your mind?
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, what made me leave, I had a feeling.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: I'm really tuned into my body, and I I had this feeling and this knowing that the space that I was in at the time, I was feeling guided to step out of it.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: First, I was what I was teaching at the time was in alignment with that space.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: And so I had this feeling and this knowing about at first it was neutral.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: At first, it was just like, you know what?
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: I just think it's time to move on to something else.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: And that's all there was to it.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And then as it went on, then it was like, oh, okay, well, now I'm feeling guided to step out of this group, to step out of this space.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: And then even after that, more and more of like you were saying, those memories of certain instances and reactions to things and circumstances around things started becoming a lot more clearer to me.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: And around the same time, I was also having other people reaching out to me with the intent to just reconnect and catch up.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: But then naturally, this would come up in the topic of conversation.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: And I was just reflecting on that, thinking to myself, feeling to myself, that's not right.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: That just doesn't feel right.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: And then after that, more of those memories around certain instances would come up.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: And as each one did, I would cultivate that space of like curiosity and humility to go, okay, this was the experience, like it's coming up.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: What can I learn from this?
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: And then I did an actual ceremony for myself, also with the dynamic of this particular relationship to formally close it out.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: That's a great idea.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm just curious, is there an example that comes to mind of one of these instances?
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: And then also, was the relationship like reminiscent of your mom?
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: Are you aware of what that dynamic was for you?
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: It was interesting because I would say the the relationship was was reminiscent of a hybrid of a mom relationship and a sister relationship because of the behavior.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: So there was like a an angle of superiority, and at the same time, there would be instances of a behavior like a sister, or if that makes sense.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, that totally makes sense.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of dynamics have multiple currents running through of different relationships.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: I feel like I was starting to go off on a tangent too.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: So did I totally answer your question?
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Or the only other thing was any specific like examples that come to mind of like things that you were like, whoa, that was messed up.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so a simple one, but I'm trusting there's a reason why this particular example is coming forward.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: So this person that we both worked with, they were very, I don't know what the word is I'm looking for, very almost like hyper fixated on the rules and the guidelines of their spaces.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: And so there was this one occasion that I unknowingly, a rule or a guideline, to my knowledge, wasn't communicated with me.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: And I did something that was not in alignment with that.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: And they actually posted in that group publicly, what were you thinking, or this wasn't the right thing, or I don't remember what the exact wording was.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: I saw that and I was like, wow, okay, I'm sorry.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: Genuinely, I wasn't aware of that.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: But then I thought it was over.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: And then after that, then they turned around and sent me a private message continuing on to say, What were you thinking?
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: And it was just like a rule of the spate, like, yes, don't do this unless you're this or something like that.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, then then they messaged me and and continued after that to berate me in in the message, what were you thinking?
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: And and I felt like they were coming at me.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: And because I am who I am, I did respond to it.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: I said something like, as I said to you in the post that you made, right?
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: I apologize for this.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: And what else do you want from me at this point?
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: Is there something that you are wanting to discuss or talk about?
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: And then they responded saying, basically, there was like this berating, and then they just responded saying, okay, I suppose we can move on and thank you for being the bigger person.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: I definitely have been on the receiving end of that type of thing.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: And to me, it feels like a gut punch because it's like you feel like you did something wrong and you didn't really do anything wrong.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: I feel like then she'll sometimes make it about this must mean that you're A, B, and C.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Like you must not be whatever.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: Like that's that's how I feel like it would show up for me, where she would be like, you must not be whatever, living in your integrity or something, whatever it is.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: There was a lot of that.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: And at the same time, there wasn't a lot of clear communication to begin with.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: And that's the thing.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: I think we brought this up in one of the other episodes was like, there was never any clear communication as to like when calls were or where you could find things or when things were happening.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: And then if you asked, you got in trouble.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: And it was like, you need to lead yourself, but you don't communicate anything.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: You don't even have a platform for all of your stuff.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: You put it all on Facebook.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: How is anyone supposed to understand this?
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: And you're saying to yourself, I am leading myself by reaching out to you.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: And also like you should, whenever someone reaches out to me, I'm like more than accommodating because I want them to feel comfortable and have a good experience.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: And I want them to know how to navigate it.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: Like, why would you yell at somebody?
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's not a great feeling.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: And going back to something I talked about earlier, it puts salt in any unhealed, like vulnerable areas that you have, right?
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: So for me, yeah, I had a very traumatic childhood.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: I was on my own at 16.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: So my living in survival mode roots were like very deep, right?
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: And there was being yelled at and a lot of other things that happened.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: And so that kind of behavior would just poke at anything that was still, you know, vulnerable for me.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: And that was part of the learning experience from that particular relationship, right?
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Was where there were opportunities for me to further just love myself more and also to know where there's an opportunity to be more discerning as well, to essentially redefine what it means to have a healthy mentor, mentee, coach, client, whatever you want to call it relationship, right?
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: I just feel like what we're talking about, this experience that we've had, it's one of the deepest forms of betrayal, also.
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: And then you have your own wounding and experiences from that relationship to process through because aside from maybe an unconditionally truly loving parent or a grandmother, grandfather figure, your coach, your mentor is that's a sacred relationship.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: And you're also giving this person access to your consciousness.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: And you're trusting that they are gonna have your best interests at heart.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: And then when they don't, it is really hurtful.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: And not only that, it's like you're trusting them to have your best interests at heart.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: And not only do they not, but they're also like harming you or hurting you.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: It's really hard to reconcile that.
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: And I think like when you think about the question of if I wanted to ask you, as soon as she berated you, if you said, peace out, that's not cool.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: I'm out of here, why didn't you?
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: Or why didn't I all of those times?
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why is because like you already have this relationship and you're like, wait, but you're supposed to be having my best interests at heart, and it's hard to like reconcile that.
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: And it's also our giving nature, our naturally sensitive giving nature.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: It's that also being manipulated.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: That person is also a narcissist.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a hundred percent.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: And that's part of the reason I know from my own experience staying in the relationship as well, because the first thing I would go to is okay, it starts out as, well, she's human too, right?
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: She's you're having compassion, she's having a bad day, a freak out about something or whatever.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna condemn her for it.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: But then you start recognizing that there's a pattern.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: And then you start talking to other people and you really realize there's a pattern.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: And I think as you mentioned, and I know for me, that's when I really started to realize it because like you really realize that everyone has had the same experience, that it really is a pattern.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, I just want to thank you for sharing that because I know it's not easy to talk about these things and it's like it's raw, but I'm curious to know too, as you've processed all of this and grown, how do you feel like it's impacted, you know, just how you've evolved in your work and just as a person in general?
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've become even more fortified in my own sense of self and who I am and what my truth is.
- 42:13SPEAKER_01: And I can truly, transparently and honestly say I am unwavering and unstoppable now in my path and in choosing to pursue what aligns with my truth and not pursuing what doesn't, and not having any attachment to that, right?
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: Any fear-based attachment to that.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: And it is also cultivated within me an even deeper desire than I had to begin with to support people, other people on their own path to living in their truth too, because I don't want other people to experience that.
- 42:56SPEAKER_01: And I have no problem saying at this point, yes, it's it's raw and it's stuff that's not easy to talk about.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: But that person wasn't the only one, actually.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: I had someone else, there's a particular, it was pretty crazy.
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: I had someone else in particular.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: I remember signing up for their program.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: And around the time I signed up for their program, this was like years and years ago when I was first starting out in my business.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: My husband's mom had died.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: And we were literally on our way to Montana, and this person was like calling me and saying to me in this particular moment, she was saying, you need to stop waffling around and just start making more taking decisive action and making better decisions.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: Like she knew my circumstance in that moment and was saying that to me.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: What?
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: Like in that moment.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: I don't get how that what is your like theory.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Thinking that you would think that was okay.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: That's what I don't understand.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: And at the time, in that particular moment, I was so vulnerable.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: I was my husband, was we were like literally on our way there.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: And I didn't want to deal with it.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: So I I joined your program, which ended up imagine you're watching a NASCAR race, and one of the cars crushed.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: That was about what happened at the end of that relationship because oh my God.
- 44:34SPEAKER_01: I reached a place on my journey with that relationship where the behavior was so similar in terms of the berating and everything that I just had an outburst one day on an actual like mastermind call.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: Because I just had reached my limit, you know, and then obviously I apologized for my own behavior after that, but I ended the relationship because I was just like, this is crazy.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: What triggered the outburst?
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: Because it was that constant feeling of being berated.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: And even it was on a mastermind call, and there was a group of us, like seven to ten of us, and the speaking that was happening was very similar to what you were describing earlier, around you just have to lead yourself, or the answer to everything wasn't a learning experience.
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: The response to every question, and it wasn't just mine.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: I was just the one who had the outburst.
- 45:36SPEAKER_01: But the response to everybody's questions was, you're just not leading yourself, or you're just not doing this right, or you're just not doing that, like throwing out comments, but not a okay, this is a learning moment for the group, right?
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: Let's walk through what's happening and let's shift it right here and now.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: I don't get these people.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: Aren't you supposed to be helping?
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: How do you think that's helping?
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like there were so many things that this other coach said to me that were so profoundly unhelpful that I'm just like, wait a second, aren't you supposed to be helping me?
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: Because this shit is not helping.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: It's making me feel worse.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: Like it's making me more confused and it's making me doubt myself even more when like I'm trying to go to you for help.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: That's the thing that gets me.
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, absolutely.
- 46:26SPEAKER_01: And then the other party's response, I'm sure, was you're just not doing this or or doing that, which to me is is just like a form of gaslighting.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: Because the thing is, sometimes as a mentor or coach or practitioner, yeah, sometimes you have to deliver a hard truth to somebody.
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: But I also feel like if you are not following up with that truth with helping them deal with it.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: For example, if it is that they're not leading themselves, let's say, okay, let's figure out why that's happening.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: And then let's give you a roadmap to change your behavior and then support continuing to change that behavior.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: Because to me, if you're not doing that, then you're not really in integrity as a coach or a practitioner.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: You're just yelling at somebody and shaming them and then nothing, and then that's it.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: Like that, how is that helping?
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: And for some who are listening to this conversation, for those listening, they may not have had this experience with another coach or mentor.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: They may be resonating with this in another relationship dynamic, and it can apply.
- 47:40SPEAKER_01: What you and I are talking about here can apply to any relationship dynamic, right?
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: It could be a spouse, it could be someone else that's close to you, and something that is very simple, but that I teach to people often, and it's not for people who are just starting out on their intentional ascension journey either.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: It's anything fear-based, anything, anything negative or fear-based, no exceptions, is not good.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: It's not a healthy dynamic.
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: That's the red flag.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: There's nothing you're doing wrong.
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: If you're ever having anything projected on you that is negative or fear-based in nature, no matter what, it's not healthy.
- 48:28SPEAKER_00: No, definitely not.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it's our job as practitioners to meet people where they're at.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: I have such a reverence for any woman who steps into one of my spaces because I know that this work is hard and it takes a lot of courage.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: It takes a lot of bravery, and it takes you have to be like a badass.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: You have to, because you have to be willing to face things that are painful.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: And anytime someone steps in, I feel that way about them because I'm just like, I'm not gonna shame you.
- 49:05SPEAKER_00: No matter where you're at, you're doing something incredible for yourself.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: And we need to honor that.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: And I think that is like the energy that needs to be there to really recognize what is truly happening.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: And I think that whenever there's, like you said, fear or shame brought into the situation, it just completely like sucks the life out of it and then also doesn't give the opportunity for growth.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: I I agree with you.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: And I said this earlier too, and you really can't say it too many times.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: I view the mentee-mentor, client-coach relationship as one of the most sacred relationships.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: And I'm with you.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: I have the utmost respect and really hold in high regard every person that chooses to step into my space.
- 50:02SPEAKER_01: I'm honored to support them in that way and celebrating them and witnessing them because, like you said, it is, it takes a lot of courage.
- 50:12SPEAKER_01: We're living in a society, although shifting, right?
- 50:16SPEAKER_01: We can see, I think now more visibly, things are shifting with all of the upheaval that's happening.
- 50:23SPEAKER_01: But you're literally living in a society where everything around you externally is telling you the opposite of what you're being guided to do.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: Yet you're choosing to follow your guidance.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: And and that's something to be commended, absolutely.
- 50:40SPEAKER_01: And and it's something also important to acknowledge that for those listening to what we're saying here today, you have a lot of courage for following that guidance and know that you're you're here for this time, especially for this time.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: It's you, you're one of the people that is meant to follow that guidance and meant to aid in contributing to creating a higher consciousness way of being and living, anchoring that in for all of us.
- 51:10SPEAKER_01: So I'm honoring everybody for that.
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 51:14SPEAKER_00: And what would you say to people to look for as far as noticing any like red flags or what to look for when you do know you need support and you do want to hire a mentor?
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: Like, what advice would you give either direction of what not to do or what to do?
- 51:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: So even if you feel an intuitive hit right away that you want to work with a person, create a little bit of space to look at their content, not just the whatever program they're promoting that you want to step into, but just looking at their content as a whole, like what they're sharing and what space they're sharing from.
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: And is that coming from any kind of negative, fear-based, judgmental kind of space?
- 52:01SPEAKER_01: Or are they really coming from a space of truth and love?
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: Because you can be controversial, right?
- 52:08SPEAKER_01: But still be coming from a space of truth and love.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: In fact, that's one of the highest forms of love, I believe, is speaking out.
- 52:18SPEAKER_01: So really creating the space just to look at that to get a feel for what they're how they're showing up in the world.
- 52:24SPEAKER_01: And obviously, anything fear-based or negative is a red flag, right?
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: And also really looking at what their proposal is around the program, you're feeling the space you're feeling guided to step into.
- 52:40SPEAKER_01: And is it speaking to your soul-level self, to your intuition, or is it speaking to your ego?
- 52:48SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 52:48SPEAKER_01: Which the ego is the aspect of us that is the fear-based aspect.
- 52:53SPEAKER_01: Are you reaching out to join this to step into this person's space because you feel like something's missing?
- 52:59SPEAKER_01: Or as we said earlier, is it a skill that you want to cultivate, which is tied to the last thing I want to recommend as a suggestion, which is that be really, really honest with yourself, radically honest with yourself about why you want to step into the space, right?
- 53:17SPEAKER_01: And where that's coming from.
- 53:19SPEAKER_01: Because sometimes we can feel like I keep having this problem, or I'm not learning from this pattern that keeps coming up.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: And then we can get into a place where we feel desperate, like I need the answer.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: And then at that time, that person is speaking to that part of us, and then we choose to step in from that space.
- 53:42SPEAKER_01: So obviously, like never making the decisions to step into spaces unless you're in an energy of neutrality and in your own kind of like truth, your own leadership energy.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: I think that's really true because a lot of marketing does speak to those like problems or pain points that a lot of people have, and you can get pulled into that, and it might not actually be something that's gonna work for you.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: And I think that it is important to also remember that if you are a business owner, it's really helpful to learn from people, but also ultimately you just gotta figure this shit out on your own because it's not- Yes, you do.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: That's the thing, is it's so funny you bring that up because I'm always thinking about what are the most important messages that I'm feeling called to share with people.
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: And lately I've been thinking about that very thing a lot, which is there are coaches and healers and people that I have the utmost respect for that believe that there's always value in having a long-term mentor.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: And it may not be a popular opinion, but I am not of that.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: I believe that we do go through seasons where it serves us to step into a container with someone for a year or whatever, but there are also times where it serves us to be in a season of integration.
- 55:17SPEAKER_01: And that's something that you and I were talking about that we didn't touch on it too much in this conversation today, which is the importance of not only intellectually understanding something or being aware of something, but living it, but embodying it.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: And what you were saying about figuring out on your own, you're the only one who can do the work on that.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: You're the only one who can figure that part out, who can integrate that.
- 55:45SPEAKER_01: So there are times where it is best for us to be on our own, to be in a space of doing the work that's necessary to become embodied in that higher version of ourself.
- 56:00SPEAKER_00: I totally agree.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: And like you, in order to become embodied, you have to kind of walk through the experience to come out on the other side.
- 56:09SPEAKER_00: Like I always give that example with pricing.
- 56:11SPEAKER_00: Well, charge what you want.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: And then when you see you get the money and you do the thing and you feel like it's not enough, then you charge more.
- 56:18SPEAKER_00: And then you're embodied in it because you felt it and then you didn't like it.
- 56:21SPEAKER_00: So you changed it.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like exactly, yes.
- 56:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's what it's about.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 56:28SPEAKER_00: That's what it is.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: You have to walk it.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: So, would you be able to share just like what it is that you particularly love doing with clients and how people can get in touch with you?
- 56:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:40SPEAKER_01: So I more than anything love supporting clients in becoming deeply embodied in their own truth and their purpose and mission.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: Something that's probably gonna sound cliche, but it's just so true.
- 56:56SPEAKER_01: A quote that I reference back to a lot is one from Joan of Arc, which is I am not afraid.
- 57:03SPEAKER_01: I was born to do this.
- 57:05SPEAKER_01: And you can feel the frequency in that.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: There's a neutral, deep knowing in all of your bones and your being who you are and what you're here for.
- 57:16SPEAKER_01: And that is how I love supporting clients.
- 57:20SPEAKER_01: And I do that in varying ways, right?
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's channel guidance, sometimes it's frequency healing, sometimes it's good old-fashioned.
- 57:30SPEAKER_01: Let me help you figure out how to better manage your time.
- 57:35SPEAKER_01: Before I started this business and got into this work years ago, I was a director and oversaw about 1200 stores and operations.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: So I happen to be very good at managing time and helping people to really eliminate the overwhelm that can so easily be experienced on the journey of a way shower, which is which is who I am, which is I know who you are, and probably a lot of the people that are listening to this, right?
- 58:07SPEAKER_01: So the more grounded and embodied you can be in who you are, if you're looking for a solution, that's it.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: That's how to navigate your entire journey.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 58:21SPEAKER_00: And thank you for sharing that.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: And and thank you for being here today and sharing so openly and sharing your wisdom.
- 58:28SPEAKER_00: It's been so great connecting with you.
- 58:30SPEAKER_00: And can you just share where people can connect with you?
- 58:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the best place to go is my website, jeniferspore.com.
- 58:37SPEAKER_01: So for those listening, that's J-E-N-N-I-F-E-R-S-P-O-R.

- 58:46SPEAKER_01: So all of my private offerings and my podcasts and and all of the goodies are all in one spot for those who are feeling guided to connect more deeply.
- 58:58SPEAKER_01: And there's also under the free resources category there, there's a few free resources, but one in particular called Highest Destiny is a free guided channeled meditative journey.
- 59:13SPEAKER_01: So if you're in a space where you've been navigating all these rapid identity shifts, right?
- 59:19SPEAKER_01: And you're being called to what's next, that's an amazing journey to aid you in gaining more clarity and confidence around that.
- 59:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that.
- 59:31SPEAKER_00: That's a recording.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a recorded, guided meditation journey.
