Transcript
- 0:00Hey, I'm sitting on Starbucks You know what you gotta you gotta appreciate a good Starbucks,
- 0:10coffee shop because they let you sit with your computer for many hours without,
- 0:17bothering you about you know buy sheets buy this and this and It's a lot of
- 0:23cafes and I totally get that that does not want you to have your computer there.
- 0:32But it's just so nice that Starbucks actually still exists because you can always
- 0:42count on a Starbucks that it has Wi-Fi,
- 0:46it has room for you, you know.
- 0:48When you just want to stop by and just check something with your computer or
- 0:54your phone or you just need a coffee and it's not you know the best coffee in
- 1:01the world but it's reliable like Starbucks is reliable I am.
- 1:09I wasn't, this is not a Starbucks ad. Why am I not hired?
- 1:15Why have Starbucks not hired me yet? Like, I, yeah.
- 1:21But either way, I am, you know, it's been a week since Trump teabag is back to work.
- 1:29And I was just, you know what, let's just go out and ask people how they feel.
- 1:34So that's what i did um yeah here's what people said.
- 1:42I'm super against it okay so
- 1:46trump has been he's back to work yes i'm not gonna comment but yeah it's fine
- 1:52okay it's terrible that's a tragedy okay so how has this week been for your
- 2:04heart Really, really hard.
- 2:06Yeah, mental health-wise. It's really concerning.
- 2:09And I wish he wasn't back in office. Yeah.
- 2:13So hopefully he's not for too long, if you know what I mean.
- 2:15Trump is back. He's been back for a week. What do you think?
- 2:19I like it. I think he has a lot of momentum behind him right now.
- 2:23I think that the people who elected him expect that there is going to be some
- 2:27sort of maybe like a rough transition. that there's going to be some like economic
- 2:31difficulties like from the tariffs, from the loss of migrants.
- 2:36But I think ultimately what that's going to do in the long run is bring manufacturing back to the U.S.
- 2:42So I think in the long run it's going to pay off. I don't think it's good.
- 2:46I think it's bad, really bad, especially with this mass deportation.
- 2:49It's just like horrible. What do I think?
- 2:52I don't know. I haven't had time to digest all of it yet.
- 2:56Yeah. I don't know. We'll see what happens. so he said he would do a lot of things.
- 3:02I'm sorry. I feel scared to answer, to be honest with you. Oh, OK. OK.
- 3:06I was just wondering, how do you think this week has been after Trump got back to his office?
- 3:12It's devastating. It's terrible.
- 3:16He's been impeached twice as our president, and he's also a convicted felon.
- 3:22And he should not be our president.
- 3:24And I don't know what else to say. It makes it feel that half of our country
- 3:30feels a different way than I do. Yeah.
- 3:34So we hope that the world will not continue to be following his footsteps.
- 3:41That's all. Good luck in Norway. Thank you.
- 3:44Well, I think he's doing a lot of things that I would prefer he doesn't do.
- 3:49And I can say
- 3:52I work in a hospital and I have
- 3:55families and parents that are undocumented that are afraid to come see their
- 4:00kids in the hospital now because they're worried about being picked up so I
- 4:06think that I'd prefer someone else does this job yeah what about you well said Allison,
- 4:14I have so many spiraling thoughts I
- 4:18think I was talking to my brother last night and I
- 4:21think the invitation I see for us like I'm just not answering your question
- 4:25about Trump himself but in response to him like seeing ways that we can look
- 4:31out for one another more than ever is so crucial right now because if our leader
- 4:34is not going to look out for us like we have to rally together and like care
- 4:38for one another yeah that's good.
