- 0:00Speaker 1: Katie, can you help us with this?
- 0:03Speaker 2: So we had our dinner and then we went to
- 0:07Speaker 2: see Draculia on Thursday night. And first of all, the
- 0:10Speaker 2: dinner was just great.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I mean, it was just... The food was great. Jimmy,
- 0:15Speaker 2: the wine guy, Jimmy Santangelo, was really great. He was
- 0:20Speaker 2: the star of the show. He was, yes. Carrie and
- 0:23Speaker 2: I and Gina as well, we circulated through the crowd
- 0:27Speaker 2: and talked to people.
- 0:28Speaker 1: And it was... And it's so nice. I mean, it's just....
- 0:33Speaker 2: Everybody there was just excited to be there and having
- 0:36Speaker 2: a good time. And our friends Sean Larson and his
- 0:40Speaker 2: wife showed up. Larson, HVAC, and Plumbing. And I think
- 0:45Speaker 2: they had a good time. And then we went to
- 0:47Speaker 2: see Draculia. And it was really cool.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I mean, it was just great.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But Dan from Evanston, God bless him. He always brings
- 0:56Speaker 2: us presents.
- 0:58Speaker 4: And I always say, you don't have to do that, Dan.
- 1:00Speaker 1: And I always say, Dan, yes, you do. Bill, Gina,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and Carrie, this is the card.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Better than Milk Creek Coffee, the Radio from Hell community
- 1:11Speaker 2: is so generous and warm. I don't understand that line.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It represents such a diverse group. Oh, he's talking about
- 1:19Speaker 2: the people at the event. It represents such a diverse
- 1:23Speaker 2: group and represents the show that you work so much
- 1:26Speaker 2: to deliver.
- 1:27Speaker 1: On a daily basis.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Uh, thank you for your continued service. The goodies are
- 1:33Speaker 2: for you and all those who support the program, um, production.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Enjoy Dan of Evanston, friend of the program. And there's some,
- 1:43Speaker 2: there's some, uh, pirate booty here. Some Nutella with a
- 1:48Speaker 2: little sticks, you know, you can, Oh, that's very handy.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Oh, little dipping thing.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I like those. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 1: No, it is lovely. Oh, My favorite, Barnum's Animal Crackers.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Oh, there you go.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:00Speaker 4: And, oh. Oh, these are the pretzel sticks. Those are.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Even better. Oh, he cut off the box. I'm going
- 2:11Speaker 1: to save that. I'm going to save that. I like that.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Did you know that Barnum's Animal Crackers are a good
- 2:17Speaker 1: source of calcium? See, they're healthy.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Why drink a glass of milk when you can.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Why ruin this lovely label by putting that on there?
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Right there. In the middle of it. That's stupid. Is
- 2:33Speaker 1: that it? Yeah, it's all just open. Oh, I see.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Some for you, too, right?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Oh, well, he, so a while ago, he gave you
- 2:43Speaker 3: ginger whiskey that you did not appreciate. And as I
- 2:47Speaker 3: always stand by my comments.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Don't say I didn't appreciate it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You appreciated it.
- 2:50Speaker 4: You did not like it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I appreciated the gift.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I didn't care for the whiskey.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 3: And as I've always said, gingers love their ginger. So I...
- 2:58Speaker 3: He said, you should have given it to me. So
- 3:01Speaker 3: he promised me that the next time. And he wrote
- 3:04Speaker 3: me a card. He's like, I have always remembered this
- 3:06Speaker 3: since the moment it was said. So he brought me
- 3:09Speaker 3: the ginger whiskey. And it happened to be my husband
- 3:12Speaker 3: and my anniversary.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Oh, on Dracula. So it was like an anniversary gift.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So you got drunk.
- 3:18Speaker 4: No, I had to work, technically.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I was taking photos and videos of you guys.
- 3:21Speaker 1: No, I mean after work.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Oh, no, I had to come back to work the
- 3:25Speaker 3: next day while you guys weren't at work.
- 3:27Speaker 1: How about Saturday? Did you get drunk?
- 3:30Speaker 4: No, I rested. She can just enjoy it without getting drunk.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I do want to enjoy it.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I have not opened it yet because I had a
- 3:35Speaker 3: lot of things going as I was trying to rest
- 3:38Speaker 3: this weekend and not get drunk.
- 3:39Speaker 4: That's how you know you're an adult, Katie. I know.
- 3:41Speaker 4: When you start saying, no, I have too much to do.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I'll have to put drinking on hold.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I think I'm an adult and I never say that.
- 3:48Speaker 3: You know, hey, to each their own. I guess I
- 3:51Speaker 3: just don't drink enough, but I am excited to try it.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I just haven't tried it yet.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Would you start drinking more, please?
- 3:57Speaker 3: Invite me over.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:00Speaker 4: But, yeah, it was nice seeing everybody. The ballet, it
- 4:04Speaker 4: will totally sell out, I'm sure. It's only around for
- 4:07Speaker 4: a week or so.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Only through the 31st.
- 4:10Speaker 4: It's very, very cool.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 2: People were flying, and it's... There's a carriage.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Renfield comes in in a horse-drawn carriage. Super cool.
- 4:24Speaker 2: The horses are people in kind of horse costumes, two
- 4:28Speaker 2: of them. And that Renfield guy.
- 4:30Speaker 4: He was great.
- 4:32Speaker 1: He's really small. I was wondering if it was a child.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It could be, I suppose.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I'm always amazed. So the ballet is quiet. They're jumping
- 4:42Speaker 4: and landing and And when that horse-drawn carriage came in,
- 4:46Speaker 4: it was silent. You can't hear it. I don't know
- 4:49Speaker 4: who builds props in that way that makes it so.
- 4:53Speaker 4: It's just silent.
- 4:54Speaker 2: What's fascinating to me sometimes at the ballet is that
- 4:57Speaker 2: what you can hear is the tap, tap, tap of
- 5:01Speaker 2: their toe shoes.
- 5:02Speaker 1: What? A lot of times.
- 5:03Speaker 4: But they still land very softly. Yeah. No matter what
- 5:08Speaker 4: they're doing. All right.
