- 0:09Speaker 1: And it's your favorite Ethiopian too, solo. Still wow, I'm
- 0:18Speaker 1: just so joyous today. I can't even do it right.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Why are you so happy to debut? Well, you know,
- 0:22Speaker 1: I made a business move this past weekend and it
- 0:24Speaker 1: was pretty good. I'm very excited about it. You know,
- 0:27Speaker 1: I can't go into a lot of detail, but what
- 0:29Speaker 1: I will say to my ladies is the Billionaire Boys
- 0:32Speaker 1: Club is not gonna let you in, so you gotta
- 0:35Speaker 1: fight your way through stas and when you get through that,
- 0:38Speaker 1: just continue to be graceful, mind your business and do
- 0:41Speaker 1: your thing. Girl, me too, Amen? And right, great was
- 0:47Speaker 1: your weekend though? You got some business done? We can great? Yep,
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm feeling good inspired. Um celebrated my girl, Elsa's birthday. Lisa.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I didn't say Alsa, I didn't say Alice. Least please,
- 1:00Speaker 1: at least happy birthday, at least. This is her first
- 1:04Speaker 1: official birthday in Atlanta. She's been here for almost a
- 1:07Speaker 1: year and she has done amazing. I'm super proud of you, girl,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and I could not imagine my group of girlfriends not
- 1:13Speaker 1: having you in it. I love you, sister. I saw
- 1:15Speaker 1: a Saturday, actually, but I didn't see you come down.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I was there? You are? Actually, how did you see her?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Because I feel like you were in the birthday I
- 1:25Speaker 1: saw Tanisha. They were walking out, sound like the police,
- 1:28Speaker 1: everything all right? How how you see? How do you
- 1:31Speaker 1: see her? And not me? Though? You know what I'm saying.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I see wifey and everybody where was you? I was
- 1:37Speaker 1: outside getting my money? Hey that fired on? Weekend was
- 1:44Speaker 1: great until Sunday, but I guess we'll get into that.
- 1:48Speaker 1: But yeah, my weekend was great. Great weekend, at least
- 1:52Speaker 1: toward the alert. We had some stuff from all alert.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Chase ripped to the party a little bit. Chase, you
- 1:58Speaker 1: come see you can you on five dollars? She got it.
- 2:02Speaker 1: She's into her hugging phase right now, which I think
- 2:04Speaker 1: it's super dark. She hugs you and then she rubs
- 2:07Speaker 1: her her back. That's love, That's sweet. I love when
- 2:12Speaker 1: babies do that. We can bring her for thirty minutes
- 2:14Speaker 1: because after thirty minutes she's gonna start she can run
- 2:17Speaker 1: around crazy. But outside and Katie Burns, I know you
- 2:21Speaker 1: said you just got back. Yeah, I just got back
- 2:22Speaker 1: from that, like y'all, I was that soon. You had
- 2:24Speaker 1: on was hard and we can't put it on the screen.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Damn go to what color? What color was that? The
- 2:31Speaker 1: rose gold? What the Sunday? Yeah, I just posted it. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 1: that was the that was at the try. So, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I hoped to try affect the galla in uh Louisville,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and we did a tempole event at the Four Seasons.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So we had a brunch and we invited out, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: people that could actually come and celebrate and uh, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: participate in the derby with us so hard once the
- 2:55Speaker 1: news broke, you know, to shake that energy, you know.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And the crazy thing is, it's like, so Thursday, I
- 3:00Speaker 1: started out, you know, Coca Cola Energy launch. You know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: we had Sweetie and St. John. It was dope, you
- 3:05Speaker 1: know energy right Friday, Jameson Miller's birthday party, a nice
- 3:09Speaker 1: guy Saturday at you and then literally Robin calls me
- 3:11Speaker 1: from downstairs Sunday saying, row im downstairs. I was like,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I'm coming down. She's like wait, wait, hold on. I'm
- 3:18Speaker 1: like what I'm thinking? Something happening right there. She's like, Yo,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant just died. I come down. I gotta And
- 3:23Speaker 1: so I get down to the car and she's literally
- 3:24Speaker 1: like showing me, like you know, she get videos she
- 3:28Speaker 1: getting pictured like no, wait, in my mind, I gotta
- 3:30Speaker 1: go host fifty people at the Four Seasons And I'm like, yo,
- 3:34Speaker 1: like I don't want to know this. And then on
- 3:37Speaker 1: top of that, but listen to me, I'm gonna tell
- 3:39Speaker 1: you how erie the morning was. I wake up, I'm
- 3:41Speaker 1: staying at the SLS and literally that's in the middle
- 3:44Speaker 1: of Hollywood, you know what I'm saying. And I'm like,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I mean, you know, in the middle of you know,
- 3:48Speaker 1: between Hollywood, and so I'm looking outside. You couldn't see
- 3:50Speaker 1: the building across the street, so you can imagine what
- 3:53Speaker 1: the fog was by the mountains, right, And I'm thinking
- 3:57Speaker 1: to myself, So I'm hearing and when I tell you,
- 3:58Speaker 1: everybody was calling me and like God rested day. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: was saddened, like I knew him, but I didn't even
- 4:03Speaker 1: know Kobe like that, and people were calling me and
- 4:06Speaker 1: I'm like yeo, and I'm literally at the gala, I
- 4:09Speaker 1: mean at the brunch and I'm literally talking to people.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm getting calls there. I mean it was, And to
- 4:15Speaker 1: be honest with you, the Four Seasons brunch is usually
- 4:18Speaker 1: pop popping, right, I mean our brunch, our portion of
- 4:21Speaker 1: it we had sections off was popping, but then like
- 4:24Speaker 1: it was like people, it was super heavy the impact
- 4:27Speaker 1: Kobe had. You know, I was at my Sunday brunch
- 4:31Speaker 1: and I got a text from my sister and I
- 4:32Speaker 1: was like, no, you know, there's just no way. So
- 4:36Speaker 1: immediately I go online and I didn't find anything, so
- 4:40Speaker 1: I was like, this can't it can't be real. Five
- 4:42Speaker 1: minutes later, that's when the articles, I guess, start you know,
- 4:45Speaker 1: popping up. And we always have the we always have
- 4:49Speaker 1: ESPN on at brunches, you know, on Sundays. And it
- 4:53Speaker 1: was so bad that you literally see the entire room
- 4:56Speaker 1: look up at the screens and everybody is in shocking.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The energy just went down. So about an hour or
- 5:02Speaker 1: so of that plan, I had to change the channel
- 5:05Speaker 1: you had. I had to change it was so much.
- 5:08Speaker 1: There were people crying in the bathroom. Like literally, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: went into the bathroom there were two women crying. I'm
- 5:13Speaker 1: thinking they're drunk, something wrong. I'm asking them are they okay?
- 5:17Speaker 1: And they literally were saying, I can't believe Kobe died.
- 5:20Speaker 1: It was insane to me. To be able to see
- 5:23Speaker 1: the sadness in real time was intense. Let's let's get
- 5:27Speaker 1: them and all the families. Let's work and talk about
- 5:29Speaker 1: Kobe a lot. But now it's time for in case
- 5:31Speaker 1: you misscard. Yeah, and I think to um, you know
- 5:38Speaker 1: the whole thing about you know, he traveled by helicopter
- 5:42Speaker 1: a lot. Let's just talk about that and let ball
- 5:44Speaker 1: the nation know that he traveled by hotel I'm sorry,
- 5:47Speaker 1: helicopter a lot because he lived in calabassid Or where
- 5:50Speaker 1: he lived, and he had to commute to the center
- 5:53Speaker 1: of the Staples Center a lot of time, and they
- 5:55Speaker 1: had you know, Russia I was crazy and LX. So
- 5:56Speaker 1: it was convenient for him versus an hour and thirty
- 5:59Speaker 1: minute exactly. So he got used to it and it
- 6:01Speaker 1: was convening and they did it all the time. It
- 6:03Speaker 1: was nothing new to the Bryant family taking a helicopter.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Now in this particular situation, as we mentioned there, you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: there was fog. There was all types of things that
- 6:12Speaker 1: I mean even when you watch the news, you're seeing things. Well,
- 6:14Speaker 1: they could have went towards the ocean and came back
- 6:16Speaker 1: in versus trying to go you know, into basically airspace
- 6:20Speaker 1: you could not see um, and then it was like
- 6:23Speaker 1: you know, um, they've been you know the police helicopters.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I watched was watching the news in l A. The
- 6:28Speaker 1: police chief got on was like they grounded their helicopters
- 6:31Speaker 1: because it was so foggy. And if the police helicopters
- 6:34Speaker 1: not flying and they have all the state of the
- 6:35Speaker 1: art everything, um, no one else should have been flying.
- 6:38Speaker 1: But people are going back and forth. But the thing
- 6:40Speaker 1: I saw today on an Internet that I loved the
- 6:43Speaker 1: most is that people are petitioning to have Kobe Bryant's
- 6:49Speaker 1: logo basically his body logo, I'm sorry, his his uh silhouette,
- 6:54Speaker 1: the NBA logo and now that was that was Jerry
- 6:57Speaker 1: West forever. He locally said that he never really wanted
- 7:02Speaker 1: that to be the logo, so I think it could happen.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But you know what, let me just say something real
- 7:07Speaker 1: quick about this helicopter before we get into the logo.
- 7:10Speaker 1: The pilot was actually super experienced, allegedly very experienced, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: there was no block box on this helicopter. But what
- 7:20Speaker 1: they did have was an iPad, so the iPad showed
- 7:22Speaker 1: them the weather and all these things. They were really
- 7:26Speaker 1: shocked that, from what it appears, the pilot didn't slow down.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He actually sped up, he went up higher. He missed
- 7:35Speaker 1: a mountaintop by a hundred feet. He literally cleared a
- 7:38Speaker 1: mountaintop on a hundred feet, and when he thought he
- 7:41Speaker 1: was in the clear of the mountains, he then began
- 7:43Speaker 1: to descend. But he is allegedly so experienced, especially in
- 7:47Speaker 1: that area. How would you not know to be cautious
- 7:50Speaker 1: of mountains in the fog. So it is. It's pretty weird.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's weird, and I do hope that more details come out,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and I hope that there is no I'll play whatsoever.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But most importantly, I'm just you know, sitting love and
- 8:04Speaker 1: positive vibrations to all the families affected. But okay, my bad,
- 8:08Speaker 1: y'all the logo, No, I mean I was fun. I mean,
- 8:11Speaker 1: uh to peggyback of what you said, I actually remember
- 8:15Speaker 1: wife and I was cleaning out our garage, just putting
- 8:17Speaker 1: up some new stuff and organizing and stuff, and um,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got a FaceTime call and I just didn't believe
- 8:25Speaker 1: it because I'm over here, like you know what I'm saying.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It was m J. Then I grew up with uh,
- 8:31Speaker 1: Kobe Lebron, d Wade's my favorite basketball player, Dwayne Wade,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Ali iverson Lebron and m J. I wasn't necessary of
- 8:38Speaker 1: Kobe fan, but I definitely respected him so much. I
- 8:42Speaker 1: was a fan of him, uh playing basketball and just
- 8:45Speaker 1: you know, followed him because he was great anyway. But yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 1: when when I first heard the news, man, I just
- 8:50Speaker 1: dropped to my knees. I started shed a tear, like
- 8:52Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Not because of the basketball though,
- 8:56Speaker 1: because he was a father. Yeah, but then somebody free
- 8:59Speaker 1: tweets something you tweeted along, Yeah, and eleven I said
- 9:03Speaker 1: that I had respect for his game, you know, because
- 9:05Speaker 1: I always I was the fan. I was the person
- 9:07Speaker 1: arguing with for Lebron, and you know they had Kobe
- 9:10Speaker 1: fans and Lebron fans. This is Miami. He won the
- 9:13Speaker 1: Chip our second chip with Lebron, and it was I
- 9:17Speaker 1: was always arguing with people about Lebron versus Kobe. But
- 9:21Speaker 1: I always gave Kobe respect. And that's what I had
- 9:23Speaker 1: posted on my Instagram. But man, like I got super
- 9:27Speaker 1: emotional because we found out his daughter was on me.
- 9:30Speaker 1: YEA man, that fucked me up, and it really bothered me,
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, because it kind of gave
- 9:36Speaker 1: me Dad vibes, Like you know how was he feeling on.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I know, Kobe, the man will probably kicked everybody out
- 9:45Speaker 1: of the helicopter and he would have went down by
- 9:46Speaker 1: himself if he has you know what I'm saying, like
- 9:51Speaker 1: him trying to protect his daughter in that moment. Were
- 9:55Speaker 1: just talking about that, Remember we were just talking about
- 9:57Speaker 1: that before Sue walked in. It was like, you know,
- 10:00Speaker 1: if you are a rising ascending. Basically, he was clearly
- 10:03Speaker 1: trying to get over something. He couldn't see it. He
- 10:05Speaker 1: was he knew something, so he's trying to get up
- 10:08Speaker 1: over whatever. And that was an immediacy. That wasn't no swirling.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I mean that the plane might have hit something that
- 10:15Speaker 1: came down. They said it was like two football fields
- 10:17Speaker 1: long of debris once it finally crashed, So you gotta
- 10:20Speaker 1: imagine the I just pray that they hit and blacked
- 10:24Speaker 1: out and was nothing else to you know what I mean,
- 10:26Speaker 1: Because they say it was so immediate that you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: it's like boom boom, and then it's you know, and
- 10:33Speaker 1: the thought like Robbery was saying, like what do you
- 10:36Speaker 1: do to protect whoever? Like? And I'm sure if he
- 10:39Speaker 1: had time, he trying to open the door and jump
- 10:41Speaker 1: out versus knowing you're gonna crash. I mean, you get
- 10:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Like, but I'm sure there wasn't enough
- 10:45Speaker 1: time for that. I guess at one point, well, the
- 10:47Speaker 1: alleged video, I don't know if this is the actual
- 10:50Speaker 1: video or not, but I could imagine that they probably
- 10:54Speaker 1: thought they were okay because it looked like the helicopter
- 10:57Speaker 1: landed safely for a quick second. Then it jumps back up,
- 11:01Speaker 1: the tail breaks and it spins and blows up. I
- 11:04Speaker 1: don't know, I don't know. I don't know if that
- 11:06Speaker 1: was because that one it kind of tales I used
- 11:09Speaker 1: to watch. It was I can't watch that used to watch.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I don't think that was the video. I heard it
- 11:15Speaker 1: out that it wasn't. Yeah, because and in that case,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I think somebody would have tried to get up out
- 11:20Speaker 1: of it. But then you're worried about the propellers and
- 11:21Speaker 1: all the other things, you know, not nothing. Then not
- 11:23Speaker 1: only that, it was other younger kids, families on the
- 11:27Speaker 1: helicopter coach of people. First I thought it was seven people.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Then come I was nine, and I think only three
- 11:35Speaker 1: people have been found, So that's even more scary. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: like to think, you know, but I mean I'm sure
- 11:40Speaker 1: they're searching high and low to find anything, but they
- 11:44Speaker 1: also know what happened to Yeah, they're also worried about
- 11:46Speaker 1: looters and people coming trying to get like artist, you're not,
- 11:51Speaker 1: that's disgusting. The Hall of Fame y'all has honored him
- 11:54Speaker 1: for their ceremony, which is definitely due. Um. We also
- 11:59Speaker 1: know that Lebron and finally spoke. I was very touched
- 12:02Speaker 1: by Dwayne Waves by the way too. That was so heartfelt.
- 12:05Speaker 1: And then obviously le Bron you know, hadn't responded, but
- 12:08Speaker 1: he just he just responded. And to see the videos
- 12:11Speaker 1: of them with Team USA and just the camaraderie and
- 12:14Speaker 1: the All Star Games, just all the it's just like wow, man,
- 12:18Speaker 1: like and like I said, it was out of nowhere,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and just the camaraderie in sports alone, how these people
- 12:24Speaker 1: feel about their players, you know, and for one to
- 12:27Speaker 1: go down like this, it's just shocker for one. And
- 12:31Speaker 1: it's like, you don't know how to feel in all
- 12:33Speaker 1: these emotions coming out of everywhere. Yeah, man, but I think,
- 12:38Speaker 1: like Ari said, everybody respected him if you didn't like him,
- 12:41Speaker 1: because he was such an assassin and because they got
- 12:44Speaker 1: all the chips that's one thing, but you had no
- 12:47Speaker 1: choice but to respect him. My my family group chat,
- 12:50Speaker 1: Kyle sent like this is my second tattoo, and it
- 12:52Speaker 1: was mama mentality because their generation like that's all they
- 12:56Speaker 1: want to wear is Kobe's on the court, Like that's
- 12:58Speaker 1: all they love leg He's like to what Jordan was
- 13:02Speaker 1: to us, Kobe is to them. And you have to
- 13:06Speaker 1: respect this game. And I also feel I feel sorry
- 13:09Speaker 1: for him, And I'll tell you why I feel sorry
- 13:12Speaker 1: for him because publicly knowing him, meaning seeing his you know,
- 13:15Speaker 1: things that happened in his life, from his amazing NBA
- 13:20Speaker 1: career to the rape allegations back in the day, all
- 13:23Speaker 1: that seeing he was not a public person. He was
- 13:26Speaker 1: not the person like you know he was on the the
- 13:28Speaker 1: same thing with shock Shack was the jokes. They're the
- 13:30Speaker 1: fun guy. You know, you wanted the interview you had us.
- 13:32Speaker 1: But Kobe was always serious, serious and was perceived to
- 13:37Speaker 1: not be, you know, exactly right. And so and you
- 13:42Speaker 1: heard a bunch of broadcasters on on on TV throughout
- 13:46Speaker 1: the last couple of days saying that they had certain
- 13:48Speaker 1: relationships with him at one point and then they became
- 13:51Speaker 1: better relationships and they got a different side of him
- 13:53Speaker 1: and got to see it. But I just I feel
- 13:56Speaker 1: sorry and I feel horrible because I feel like I
- 13:59Speaker 1: really feel like he was coming into his own. I
- 14:00Speaker 1: really felt like, you know, his creative endeavor is winning
- 14:03Speaker 1: that Oscar, you know what I'm saying, Like his mom,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but academy, his daughter is him. He didn't have no sons.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all heard the broadcast, was like, yo,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, don't you gonna have a son? She's like,
- 14:14Speaker 1: and she was like, oh, I'm the next one. Like
- 14:17Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, I got this, you know
- 14:18Speaker 1: what I mean. So I just think he was finally
- 14:21Speaker 1: comfortable and happy and just you know free. Honestly, Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 1: I think I think he everything that he set out
- 14:28Speaker 1: to do, he just did it and became the best
- 14:30Speaker 1: at it. Yeah. I think that his job was well
- 14:32Speaker 1: done and Tom was well spent here and I felt
- 14:35Speaker 1: like he was content with that, even with just having daughters.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I love the way you put that last thing, the
- 14:40Speaker 1: last thing, the thing that really kind of just emotional
- 14:43Speaker 1: is like, you know, his last post and his last
- 14:45Speaker 1: tweet is about Lebron. His last Instagram post, he congratulated
- 14:52Speaker 1: his last tweet tweet he graduated Lebron Yeah, like and
- 14:58Speaker 1: I and I just I saw her in the video
- 15:01Speaker 1: clips somebody put together of her in heels and address
- 15:03Speaker 1: driven on the court, and that just sucked me. Oh
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm talking about when I say, I'm just like a babe,
- 15:09Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying. And then I was
- 15:11Speaker 1: also on a whole another note. Man, It's like people saying, like,
- 15:15Speaker 1: why would you take your helicopter because it was easy.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It's for him if that's the way he traveled. And
- 15:20Speaker 1: I want to say this, I want people to stop
- 15:22Speaker 1: apologizing for spoiling these kids and moving around away. If
- 15:27Speaker 1: you could do it, do it, because we are this
- 15:29Speaker 1: proof that life is not guaranteed. You know what I'm saying,
- 15:32Speaker 1: Like the other just the wrong thing. He also said
- 15:36Speaker 1: the reason why he took the helicopter so he could
- 15:38Speaker 1: be there for his kids more, because he said he
- 15:40Speaker 1: would um have so it was so much traffic trying
- 15:43Speaker 1: to get to practice, then trying to pick his kids
- 15:45Speaker 1: up from school. He wanted to be there to pick
- 15:47Speaker 1: them up from school, and his wife was like, I
- 15:49Speaker 1: could pick him up. He's like, no, I want to.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I want to spend that time with them as much
- 15:52Speaker 1: as I can as possible. It was just faster for
- 15:55Speaker 1: him to travel to practice and then get to his kids.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It's out to me that people are so concerned about
- 16:00Speaker 1: whether they think somebody is, whether someone looks personal, and
- 16:04Speaker 1: then why someone wants to travel the way they want
- 16:06Speaker 1: to travel, like it's they have the means to do it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: On top of that, the man takes his cray very seriously,
- 16:12Speaker 1: So if he wants to be serious on the court
- 16:14Speaker 1: or when he's handling business, that's okay. Nobody has to
- 16:18Speaker 1: make jokes for you to be comfortable. No one has
- 16:19Speaker 1: to smile for you to be comfortable. I respect that
- 16:22Speaker 1: he can allow himself to get in that zone, have
- 16:25Speaker 1: a ton of vision, and execute what he came to do.
- 16:28Speaker 1: So all you feel like if I work there hard
- 16:31Speaker 1: to get to that point, fly if I want to write.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And that's my point. I want to just say, everybody
- 16:35Speaker 1: in ball nation that can afford to do the things
- 16:37Speaker 1: they want to do do it. Don't feel but like
- 16:39Speaker 1: I used to. Honestly, when I was younger and I
- 16:43Speaker 1: didn't have it, I was like, you know, when I
- 16:45Speaker 1: get it, I'm gonna make him work. For now, I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: giving him everything I could give him with with stipulations
- 16:50Speaker 1: along the way that you have to do this, clean
- 16:51Speaker 1: your room and things. You know what I'm saying to
- 16:53Speaker 1: teach you almost because even like Jessica in the kitchen
- 16:54Speaker 1: this morning, she says, my my youngest son was going
- 16:57Speaker 1: crazy about his iPods or EarPods, right, And I guess
- 17:02Speaker 1: Kenny came like, yo, you know your attitude. You know
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's not gonna help you find This is what Kenny's
- 17:06Speaker 1: telling Kyle. And when they're both poor rotten, but you
- 17:09Speaker 1: can see the teachings come out. It's just a matter
- 17:12Speaker 1: of maturity, right. And I think that we get so
- 17:14Speaker 1: stuck in our head about what we're not supposed to
- 17:16Speaker 1: do because they didn't work for they don't know life
- 17:18Speaker 1: could be over tomorrow. I want to have them to
- 17:20Speaker 1: have jumped off boats. I want them to have traveled
- 17:23Speaker 1: the world following their greens. All that. I'm not being up.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm not apologized for none of that. Ship. I don't
- 17:27Speaker 1: get what you say. They can live where jewelry, they
- 17:30Speaker 1: can have tattoos, they can do whatever the funk they
- 17:32Speaker 1: want to do, as long as it's under our rules
- 17:34Speaker 1: and guidelines. That's all I'm saying. The point is you're
- 17:37Speaker 1: raising good human beings. Because I think people get it
- 17:40Speaker 1: confused that if if a child has some of the
- 17:43Speaker 1: materialistic things that they may not have had, you just
- 17:46Speaker 1: automatically assume the child is spoiled, or not a good person,
- 17:50Speaker 1: or has no compassion. I don't think that's always true.
- 17:53Speaker 1: So nonetheless, if if these luxuries improve your quality of life,
- 17:58Speaker 1: if they allow you to spend more time with your family,
- 18:00Speaker 1: they allow you to feel like you can be more available,
- 18:03Speaker 1: do it. It's cool. Do it. On another, onto another
- 18:09Speaker 1: uh NBA legend. Lady and gem All Iverson was robbed
- 18:11Speaker 1: the five hundred thousand dollars worth of jewelry at the
- 18:14Speaker 1: Sofa Tel and Philly. He was not actually walked up
- 18:17Speaker 1: on pistol drawn done. Okay, So I wasn't on him, okay,
- 18:21Speaker 1: because I was nervous for him. They stole the book
- 18:24Speaker 1: out of his hotel room, Yes, out of the Sofa
- 18:26Speaker 1: Tel and thing, you know, this is my thing. I
- 18:28Speaker 1: don't think it was. I don't know if it was
- 18:29Speaker 1: the actual hotel room, but it was in the Sofa Tel,
- 18:31Speaker 1: could have been in the lobby wherever. But the bottom
- 18:33Speaker 1: line is I hate a thief. Hated thief and a liar.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You might not you might
- 18:40Speaker 1: hold the truth and then when asked you have to either.
- 18:43Speaker 1: But you liars and thieves, you know what I'm sayings
- 18:49Speaker 1: do you give what? Thief? And it got you on tape?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Bro dear thief? They have your face. So it's not
- 18:56Speaker 1: a hotel employee. No, it's not a hotel. It is
- 19:00Speaker 1: a black man, which I am very disgusted with. But um,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I wonder if he knew that it was Alan's bad hunter,
- 19:08Speaker 1: Like I'm typing, my fucker, I'm not even gonna hold
- 19:10Speaker 1: you up. You ever seen the pranks on social media
- 19:13Speaker 1: when somebody walking by and dropped a big money and
- 19:16Speaker 1: supposed to be blind, and somebody like yo, yo, I'm
- 19:19Speaker 1: the guy, like yo, you dropped your money. I always
- 19:21Speaker 1: think in my mind, what if I found two men
- 19:23Speaker 1: in the briefcase? Now, if nobody was around in the
- 19:28Speaker 1: field and there was no hot you know what I mean,
- 19:31Speaker 1: maybe I would hold onto it, you know. But I'm
- 19:34Speaker 1: not just gonna walk in nobody room see a bag,
- 19:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean, or see someone drop So,
- 19:38Speaker 1: like I said, I was running doing running cane. I
- 19:40Speaker 1: dropped a thousand and I don't know why I had
- 19:42Speaker 1: it in my shorts, but I had a thousand dollars
- 19:45Speaker 1: cash and it dropped out, and the ladies excuse me,
- 19:47Speaker 1: you dropped your cash. I'm like, God, black like you know.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's why I don't That's why I don't do that either,
- 19:53Speaker 1: because I believe in carma. I feel like I want
- 19:55Speaker 1: somebody to give it back to. This guy dropped a while.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I had all these credit cards in the a gas
- 20:00Speaker 1: station and um, I got him. He drove off. I
- 20:02Speaker 1: got in my car and I was just honking him down.
- 20:04Speaker 1: He was like what I said, Hey, man dropped your wallet.
- 20:08Speaker 1: She was like, oh my god, trying to give me
- 20:11Speaker 1: a hug and everything. Yeah, that's good man. Call me something.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Somebody y'all thieve And asked mother, I actually did that
- 20:17Speaker 1: with kids. And the mom was watching her son and
- 20:20Speaker 1: she was like, Oh, I know, my child is gonna
- 20:22Speaker 1: return the money. My kid is a great kid. That's
- 20:24Speaker 1: how I put that money in his pocket. Mama was.
- 20:28Speaker 1: He wasn't worried about nothing. Speaking of savages, y'all. After
- 20:31Speaker 1: winning the Grammy Award, Tyler the creator calls out the
- 20:35Speaker 1: Grammys for reducing black artists to urban categories. I agree,
- 20:40Speaker 1: and I'm glad you said something. I'm glad you went
- 20:42Speaker 1: and got your award, and then I'm glad you said something.
- 20:45Speaker 1: A lot of people trying to give him flat for
- 20:46Speaker 1: even going and receiving award. Though, if you're in the
- 20:49Speaker 1: music business, you want a Grammy, It's okay, you want it. Hello, Hello,
- 20:54Speaker 1: you want it. But I am proud that he got
- 20:56Speaker 1: it and said something. And I know Susans I can
- 20:59Speaker 1: feel her face crunched up. But it's the truth. No,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I'm just saying, why would people be mad at what
- 21:04Speaker 1: he said? It is the truth. It's the truth, but
- 21:08Speaker 1: the truth, the holy truth. And I'll know this, it's
- 21:11Speaker 1: not new. I get so bothered that people get so
- 21:15Speaker 1: bothered when someone finally says the truth about how they
- 21:18Speaker 1: feel about something. Why are you so mad? We've been
- 21:21Speaker 1: talking about this with the Grammys for years at this point,
- 21:24Speaker 1: but you're mad? That is it? Because it was Tyler
- 21:27Speaker 1: that said it exactly and one of the best performances
- 21:31Speaker 1: of the Grammys. I'm not even a Tyler fan. I
- 21:34Speaker 1: don't listen to his music, but that performance he had
- 21:37Speaker 1: boys and men and Charlie was he murdered that performance,
- 21:43Speaker 1: and I think he's a rock star and I'm high
- 21:45Speaker 1: fiving him along the way. But also Puff had this
- 21:48Speaker 1: to say as he received his Icon Award at the
- 21:51Speaker 1: Clive Davis event at the Grammars. I'm speaking for all
- 22:01Speaker 1: the artists here and do some executives. This amount of
- 22:04Speaker 1: time that it takes to make these records, to pull
- 22:08Speaker 1: your heart out into it, and you just want to
- 22:10Speaker 1: even play in the great words and everybody too. We
- 22:20Speaker 1: are artists, We have sensitive about our ship. We are passionate.
- 22:25Speaker 1: For most of us, this is all we got. This
- 22:28Speaker 1: is our only hole. She'd be told. Hip hop has
- 22:32Speaker 1: never been respected by the grannies and music that's never
- 22:37Speaker 1: been disteffy about the m see a point of the ship,
- 22:43Speaker 1: so to right now, the dissurence of situation. It is
- 22:47Speaker 1: kind of regulation. This thing has been going on. Yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'm I'm happy Puff just said all that. I'm happy
- 22:53Speaker 1: Puff jumped out there too, because Puff historically has not
- 22:57Speaker 1: jumped out there for his fucking people enough. In my opinion,
- 23:02Speaker 1: the fact that he had that comment at the Clive
- 23:05Speaker 1: Davis probably was one of the most prestigious events during
- 23:07Speaker 1: the Grammy weekend and lit the fucking Grammys up, Like,
- 23:12Speaker 1: I salute him. I think he is using his superpowers
- 23:15Speaker 1: for good now and I wish that, I hope and
- 23:18Speaker 1: I pray that he continues to on the bigger level
- 23:20Speaker 1: because of that type of voice and that type of money.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Those are the type of comments I wanted. That's the thing.
- 23:26Speaker 1: That's the question. What we're gonna do about it? Well,
- 23:28Speaker 1: we're gonna do about it. I remember, see our own Grammys.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm so ready for for all this because I'm just
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm tired of asking. We got the key players with
- 23:39Speaker 1: the money, Now, what we're gonna do about it? Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 1: let's prey our own I was just about to say,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I remember when Trump was running for office and I'm
- 23:46Speaker 1: working with him, and I'm like, yo, say something, you
- 23:48Speaker 1: know because we have our conversations. He's like, he's probably
- 23:50Speaker 1: gonna win. I'm like, well, if you know something we
- 23:52Speaker 1: don't know, say something, so come on, like we got
- 23:54Speaker 1: the power. You are. Ain't no bigger promoter, marketer, branding
- 23:58Speaker 1: motherfucker outside of me than you. Like you know what
- 24:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, but that but even like you know, like
- 24:04Speaker 1: seeing what Jay is doing. You know Jay and one
- 24:07Speaker 1: time for Jane the Rock Nation brunch, Like you know,
- 24:10Speaker 1: seeing the way that this is shaping up to be
- 24:13Speaker 1: like the corridor to whatever. Right, And if you're in
- 24:16Speaker 1: the music business is necessary. I mean if you're not,
- 24:19Speaker 1: it's still like watch them, see what they're doing. See
- 24:22Speaker 1: the alliances that are being made because you know, two
- 24:25Speaker 1: sus point to everybody's point in here, we have our
- 24:28Speaker 1: own who doing what to do it though it's the
- 24:31Speaker 1: profet died the cheers to Jay at the at the
- 24:34Speaker 1: thing like a black man did this. So being in there,
- 24:36Speaker 1: black man did this brunch for us. Everybody that is
- 24:39Speaker 1: in power in the business that we are in is
- 24:42Speaker 1: in this room. There's a big sense of endearment to
- 24:45Speaker 1: going on in that in that brunch. And they're white
- 24:47Speaker 1: people that want us to get they want us to
- 24:50Speaker 1: get our due too. I had to brunch, you know,
- 24:52Speaker 1: like the weed everything, Rob Weiss, he did Entourage Ballers.
- 24:57Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I had to dude, ninety
- 24:59Speaker 1: year old white man and who did the screenplay for
- 25:01Speaker 1: corn Bread and Earl, Like you know what I'm saying,
- 25:04Speaker 1: Like it was just they want it's some people on
- 25:08Speaker 1: the other side that wants us to have it too,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So we like figure out
- 25:13Speaker 1: these alliances and get it done. We have like the
- 25:15Speaker 1: Trumpet Awards, but it's kind of a lot. Yeahs we
- 25:21Speaker 1: have emphasized as a big deal. Yeah, we we have
- 25:25Speaker 1: to respect our stuff, like like we respect the Grammys.
- 25:28Speaker 1: We have to treat it that way. Talk about it
- 25:30Speaker 1: dressed like you're going to the grand It's like like promoted,
- 25:33Speaker 1: like you do that. What if we did that, it
- 25:35Speaker 1: would be so much bigger. I need to Baker performed,
- 25:40Speaker 1: she didn't air because she didn't something happened. It's like
- 25:43Speaker 1: this the Urban Honors, it's our ship. Cathy used forty
- 25:47Speaker 1: years in the business, and then it was people that
- 25:48Speaker 1: were supposed to come to didn't come, and that came
- 25:51Speaker 1: because they felt pressure that they wouldn't get their records
- 25:53Speaker 1: played on radio. When you have motherfucker, well, why why
- 25:55Speaker 1: does it have to get to that? They just treat
- 25:57Speaker 1: us and it kind of we treat us. We treat
- 25:59Speaker 1: each other any in a way, and ultimately it all
- 26:01Speaker 1: starts with us. It all. We all have to make
- 26:04Speaker 1: a conscious decision to put more effort into minority own things.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And I think this brunches is a is a great
- 26:10Speaker 1: starter because just like Clid Davis is his annual Grammy party,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I feel like with Jay doing this Rock Nations Lunch,
- 26:17Speaker 1: that's like an annual because it comes around only for
- 26:20Speaker 1: the Grammy. Yeah, and I think that's a great start
- 26:23Speaker 1: because not everybody is invited to that and if you come,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you got it's a prestigious event. You gotta show up
- 26:27Speaker 1: and show out. What I like about it too, is um.
- 26:30Speaker 1: They reported that they had a picture of Nipsey and
- 26:33Speaker 1: Lauren London from last year's Rock Nation Brunch, and the
- 26:37Speaker 1: floral designs were clearly inspired by their outfits. So I
- 26:41Speaker 1: love that Ja and and Beyonce always seem to do
- 26:44Speaker 1: these subtle things that they show us love. I love
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's very thoughtful and you would not know what it
- 26:53Speaker 1: was unless someone pointed it out, Like I was like,
- 26:55Speaker 1: you know what, There's no way you can tell me
- 26:57Speaker 1: that the floral um color and the core was not
- 27:00Speaker 1: inspired by nip and Lawrence Southfit last year. And yes, Rory,
- 27:04Speaker 1: we love jay z is here too, speaking of um, Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't know what in the white faces going on here.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Apparently Kanye West wants Danny Rides to betray him in
- 27:14Speaker 1: his biopic, and I thought it was a joke, but
- 27:17Speaker 1: clearly this you shocked. I think it was a joke whatsoever.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I think this is Kanye doing Kanye like. Kanye is
- 27:29Speaker 1: trying to prove a point that like, well, you know,
- 27:32Speaker 1: why can't a white man play playing black man? Like
- 27:35Speaker 1: like Kanye, you take it too far, man, that's what
- 27:40Speaker 1: that's what You'll take it too far. Like, I get it.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You want to talk about equality. It's about talent, it's
- 27:47Speaker 1: about creative It shouldn't matter about the skin. Man. You're
- 27:50Speaker 1: taking it too far exactly, man. That's why the Urban
- 27:54Speaker 1: Awards at the Grands right child, child, this is where
- 28:00Speaker 1: I think they laugh at us. No, no, they don't
- 28:03Speaker 1: know they laugh at Trump when they laugh for us.
- 28:04Speaker 1: My point is this, though, I do think this is
- 28:06Speaker 1: where Kanye takes away from his genius because he's a genius.
- 28:11Speaker 1: We cannot argue this, but he's a fucking retard at
- 28:15Speaker 1: the same time, I can say that word. As My
- 28:19Speaker 1: point is, Dan McBride has no black features. He cannot
- 28:24Speaker 1: pull off Kanye. He's not black, and you gotta have
- 28:29Speaker 1: musical time like Uptown Story, how happens? I would love
- 28:33Speaker 1: to see the finished product, but Uptown Andrea rail stories
- 28:36Speaker 1: coming out to BT, they're auditioning for people that saying
- 28:39Speaker 1: like Mary sing like Joe to see like Heavy d
- 28:42Speaker 1: look like Heavy. You can't when it's the best movies
- 28:48Speaker 1: to me too, when when the person actually kind of
- 28:50Speaker 1: looks like in favors, like like Selena, like Notorious Sea
- 28:55Speaker 1: she did it was awesome. But you know what this
- 28:58Speaker 1: is Kanye be a Kanye And like I said, this
- 29:00Speaker 1: man is standing in his truth. He is telling y'all
- 29:02Speaker 1: who he is day in and day out. Who is
- 29:06Speaker 1: he saying he is by saying he wants Danny McBride
- 29:09Speaker 1: to like give okay, please jump in. Who is he
- 29:13Speaker 1: saying he is? I need to know who is he saying?
- 29:16Speaker 1: I like the way you were he's saying. He's saying
- 29:19Speaker 1: he's saying who he is by saying who he's not?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Mm okay with your double entendres, I will say I
- 29:26Speaker 1: saw a video circulate about him, and it was very
- 29:30Speaker 1: motivating that he said, you know, in the future that
- 29:34Speaker 1: he would just one people to recognize him by his
- 29:38Speaker 1: first name. You would not have to say you know
- 29:41Speaker 1: Kanye West, but by just Kanye, and you do know
- 29:43Speaker 1: what Kanye means the only one? I listen, thank all
- 29:48Speaker 1: the nations. Did you know that? Because I did not
- 29:50Speaker 1: know that. I know him. I know baby, I did
- 29:54Speaker 1: not know that, and I know him well, he's expressed
- 29:57Speaker 1: to see. Like I said, I was like a Kanye
- 29:59Speaker 1: fan key word, but he's and he said in interviews,
- 30:02Speaker 1: you know what his name meant meant and it meant
- 30:05Speaker 1: the only one? All right. Yeah, before we go to
- 30:07Speaker 1: a word from my sponsor, I have to say this
- 30:08Speaker 1: because I was actually have a conversation from the way
- 30:10Speaker 1: in here and my friends were telling me that Nike
- 30:12Speaker 1: pulled all of Kobe stuff offline. Kobe right, but Kobe
- 30:18Speaker 1: sorry because because resellers people, no, no, no, they well
- 30:21Speaker 1: they said there were rumors prior to this note we
- 30:24Speaker 1: just got into ball alert. Nike says Kobe Bryant sneakers
- 30:27Speaker 1: are all sold out, not pulled from Nike dot com.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Because people were saying on Nike dot com like they
- 30:32Speaker 1: took everything down and they were like, na, everything sold out.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Because I was having back and forth with my friend
- 30:37Speaker 1: this morning, like yo, like why would they do that?
- 30:39Speaker 1: That all that goes to his family, you know what
- 30:41Speaker 1: I'm saying. And literally in one day, I thought it
- 30:44Speaker 1: was because people were buying in reselling to you know,
- 30:47Speaker 1: Nike just announced that the sneakers are all sold out,
- 30:51Speaker 1: not pulled from Nike dot com whoever. I'm sure the
- 30:54Speaker 1: resellers got in on that. They did, because there was
- 30:57Speaker 1: a reseller who had a signed Kobe jersey on Amazon
- 31:02Speaker 1: for six thousand dollars. Yeah, but keep in mind of
- 31:09Speaker 1: stuff like that has already been on sale, his signature
- 31:13Speaker 1: and stuff like that. That that's cool, But I feel
- 31:15Speaker 1: like of his passing, relax, that's very distasteful. So distasteful.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Humans are so disgusting. Rest in peace, Kobe being briant
- 31:27Speaker 1: And now a word from our sponsors. Now's time for
- 31:33Speaker 1: ball of male Dear Ball Alert crew. I want my
- 31:38Speaker 1: boyfriend back, Dear Ball Alert show. My boyfriend and I
- 31:43Speaker 1: stopped talking three months ago because we have a long
- 31:47Speaker 1: distance relationship and he didn't like that I have a
- 31:50Speaker 1: lot of male friends. He stated that it made him
- 31:53Speaker 1: feel uncomfortable that I had all these male friends at
- 31:56Speaker 1: work and in my and in my personal life and
- 31:59Speaker 1: he's an another state and unable to be there. With
- 32:02Speaker 1: me when these male friends are around. His thing is
- 32:06Speaker 1: he doesn't trust them. That's right. He thinks that they
- 32:09Speaker 1: like me, but I've told him in strictly friendship only.
- 32:14Speaker 1: We haven't seen eye to eye on it, and we
- 32:15Speaker 1: split up three months ago. I don't want to drop
- 32:18Speaker 1: my male friends, but I miss my man. What should
- 32:21Speaker 1: I do? Please help child? Let that man stay where
- 32:23Speaker 1: he at, like you cannot. I've always been a firm
- 32:27Speaker 1: believer of not excuse me, you know, canceling friendships with
- 32:32Speaker 1: people because someone I'm dating is insecure about it. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: will never turn my back on someone who is a true,
- 32:39Speaker 1: genuine friend. How many male friends? Of course, I have
- 32:43Speaker 1: quite a few male friends, and I'm in a male
- 32:48Speaker 1: but also culturally, I think this topic is as it's
- 32:52Speaker 1: perfect for me. Actually, go ahead. How many men would
- 32:57Speaker 1: you like? If you like you have big brothers. I
- 33:02Speaker 1: don't know that you have male friends, Like people you've
- 33:05Speaker 1: seen the club aren't your friends. I have some male
- 33:08Speaker 1: friends that I actually grew up. I need numbers because
- 33:11Speaker 1: you can't just say all the people you know are
- 33:13Speaker 1: your friends. But I literally have childhood friends or friends
- 33:17Speaker 1: that you know I'm still in connection, like male friends
- 33:23Speaker 1: that that okay, cool, Maybe like six or eight that
- 33:27Speaker 1: are like your house, be with you, You've got your
- 33:31Speaker 1: bondet on around that. You know, no friend to my friends,
- 33:35Speaker 1: A solid five of them come to so five five
- 33:38Speaker 1: male friends. Yeah, and you're saying that's probably high end
- 33:41Speaker 1: for not because you're not. I don't think you're the normal.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But let me just say outside of the industry though,
- 33:46Speaker 1: in our culture and habits culture, we don't. We're not
- 33:50Speaker 1: like Jen. It's not like that. Like you can have
- 33:52Speaker 1: friends of the friend they probably like you. She's in
- 33:58Speaker 1: the business, whether male dominated, it does different. But for
- 34:04Speaker 1: me it does come from from culture because growing up,
- 34:06Speaker 1: it wasn't weird for my mom's male friends to come
- 34:09Speaker 1: over and have the ceremonial coffee or like that. In
- 34:14Speaker 1: my industry also, like you know, I'm coming at it
- 34:17Speaker 1: from like both angles. But I think it's healthy to
- 34:19Speaker 1: have relationships from people of the opposite sex. But I
- 34:23Speaker 1: also understand American culture is a little bit That's what
- 34:27Speaker 1: I was. You can't tell me half the people outside
- 34:29Speaker 1: in five half or the men outside inside that you'll
- 34:32Speaker 1: be around with me trying to fun. You can't say that.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I can almost guarantee it. Shoot, they don't make me
- 34:39Speaker 1: feel like it. So I mean, yeah, there are some
- 34:43Speaker 1: people that I'm like, okay, you want to, but most
- 34:45Speaker 1: of them I've I've never gotten we got a phone.
- 34:48Speaker 1: That's what I was trying to say. Like she said,
- 34:50Speaker 1: her culture, you know, male flourished friendships are like so normal. Yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 1: like you said, but in this in America. Okay, what
- 34:57Speaker 1: about you? You got you got a lot of male friends.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I will say, though, but um, I understand too, like
- 35:04Speaker 1: a lot of them like me. But I understand what
- 35:08Speaker 1: she's saying. That with the girl. If my man is
- 35:11Speaker 1: uncomfortable with that, I don't have a problem with Yes, Yes,
- 35:18Speaker 1: if you know someone has feelings for you, you know
- 35:22Speaker 1: someone likes you, and you're just constantly trying to put
- 35:24Speaker 1: them in the friend zone. If you are really dating someone,
- 35:27Speaker 1: you can't even have that person in the friend zone
- 35:29Speaker 1: them or that there's in that situation that looks like
- 35:38Speaker 1: me and Sue was super close. But she probably communicates
- 35:41Speaker 1: with my My wife is just as much. We actually
- 35:45Speaker 1: have a group chat. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I think that's important. Um, with a male friend. So
- 35:52Speaker 1: to the topic of this, she's not including her boyfriend,
- 35:57Speaker 1: she can't into the male friendship live here. Yeah, but
- 36:02Speaker 1: if I have a female that's your partner, my wife
- 36:07Speaker 1: is going to be included. Yeah, and you're gonna have
- 36:10Speaker 1: each other like my wife and Sue has each other number.
- 36:14Speaker 1: She feels free that she has to to be comfortable with.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You can tell me at any time of the day,
- 36:18Speaker 1: any time of the night. But what happens if you're
- 36:20Speaker 1: dude is the type of dude that's like, I don't
- 36:22Speaker 1: want to know what this an't gonna about now. I'm like,
- 36:24Speaker 1: because you know, it's a lot of y'all out here
- 36:26Speaker 1: to be like, I don't care. That's what hurt. I
- 36:30Speaker 1: think she's dealing with distance and not and I agree
- 36:34Speaker 1: with you guys. She should try to find a way
- 36:35Speaker 1: to include him something the next time he's in town.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Go out for drinks, go out for topics or something.
- 36:41Speaker 1: But yeah, and like have him a round your people
- 36:43Speaker 1: and don't hand him around nobody you fucked. Yeah, that's disrespectful,
- 36:48Speaker 1: But like, if there's someone who is really giving him uncomfortable,
- 36:52Speaker 1: I want to be with your woman vibes, and he
- 36:54Speaker 1: communicates that you too, and you care about your relationship
- 36:57Speaker 1: that yeah, you know, is that one thing that's if
- 37:00Speaker 1: you have sex with the motherfucker, y'all could be friends.
- 37:02Speaker 1: And that's a lot of that's not that's a no,
- 37:07Speaker 1: y'all know, we will never agree with stuff like this
- 37:09Speaker 1: one because I think it just depends on the relationship.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I think it just depends what you know. Hey, hey man,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you said a child with someone and you have that
- 37:21Speaker 1: type of relationship, you have to have some type of
- 37:24Speaker 1: common But if you do not child, if you just
- 37:27Speaker 1: sunk with somebody and your besties and he's coming over
- 37:30Speaker 1: to the crib and I'm oh, that ain't that's not
- 37:33Speaker 1: part of the game. That's not part of the game.
- 37:36Speaker 1: It got nothing your best your besties used to smash no, no,
- 37:40Speaker 1: no guts, especially if we're doing what we do, because
- 37:48Speaker 1: that's the white people's stuff. It's like you you have
- 37:50Speaker 1: a group of white friends and they all husband walking
- 37:57Speaker 1: the current the ex. The next thing you know, you're
- 38:01Speaker 1: drunk in a bathroom getting you know what I'm saying
- 38:05Speaker 1: this is. I can't remember who it is, but there's
- 38:10Speaker 1: a Caucasian female actress who let her ex boyfriend move
- 38:14Speaker 1: into the house with her her husband and a new baby.
- 38:17Speaker 1: So I'm going to tell you all the craziest scenario.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Come on, and I had a day job. My co
- 38:22Speaker 1: workers name is Tom. I'm not gonna say his last
- 38:25Speaker 1: name because he's a fan of me. He's a fan
- 38:27Speaker 1: of the show. He found of my radio show, The
- 38:28Speaker 1: Whole Night Um. Him and his ex him and his
- 38:31Speaker 1: ex wife divorce, X wife got a new boyfriend him,
- 38:35Speaker 1: next wife's got gets married to a new guy. Him
- 38:38Speaker 1: and the new husband become cool and then they hang out. Yeah.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I have seen this in my childhood. Came to my job,
- 38:48Speaker 1: the day job. They're going to lunch together. Hey, dog,
- 38:52Speaker 1: and he's married to your ex. What the hell type
- 38:57Speaker 1: of fool ship is that? But if they that cool,
- 39:01Speaker 1: if the ex wife, okay, what on one time to look,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't understand. I can understand that if y'are Jada
- 39:10Speaker 1: type of man, but it's still no still boundaries. If
- 39:14Speaker 1: you got killed, I'm saying. I'm saying very Jada, and
- 39:18Speaker 1: and and will ex wife they still James said that
- 39:21Speaker 1: Will and his ex wife still go on vacations. Now
- 39:24Speaker 1: that's see, that's a see Will. I don't know if
- 39:27Speaker 1: I love that they do that. I think I think
- 39:29Speaker 1: it's for the days to see a healthy relationship with
- 39:32Speaker 1: with the parents. I think it's a dynamic. I gotta
- 39:34Speaker 1: steal yet to unravel your role. Smile dude in the
- 39:40Speaker 1: stepdad cool cool, y'all ain't tight nigger, y'all don't hang
- 39:44Speaker 1: out that don't come on, let's define role. Yeah, friends, friends,
- 39:50Speaker 1: it's great to have that because he's around your daughter.
- 39:52Speaker 1: You want to know, I actually respect him a lot
- 39:55Speaker 1: of you respects me a lot. Communicate that came more
- 39:58Speaker 1: than man. Uh, you know baby moms, which I think
- 40:02Speaker 1: is dope because we both are raising you know, I
- 40:06Speaker 1: have to share my daughter with him. Absolutely. I respect.
- 40:10Speaker 1: It was his birthday. I told him happy birthday. You
- 40:12Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. That was cool. Yeah, before the
- 40:14Speaker 1: young lady, I think y'all should all get together. If
- 40:17Speaker 1: he's not a cool may him feel comfortable at least,
- 40:19Speaker 1: But if you want you if you want your man back,
- 40:21Speaker 1: if you don't want to uh, if you don't want
- 40:23Speaker 1: to deal with him and him being you know, slightly jealous,
- 40:26Speaker 1: because all friends ain't friends. They could just be trying
- 40:28Speaker 1: to slide up, just waiting on the opportunity. I know
- 40:32Speaker 1: a lot of men are calculated and they will Wait,
- 40:36Speaker 1: have you ever seen a lion stalkers praise? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 40:42Speaker 1: you go, you want to make a mad girl? Yea,
- 40:50Speaker 1: who's listening. You have to use this in your next
- 40:53Speaker 1: relationship as a lesson. If you're not going back and
- 40:57Speaker 1: not getting back with him, you have to your next
- 40:59Speaker 1: man has to know your male friends, have to know
- 41:02Speaker 1: your immediate male friends. That's gonna be in your life,
- 41:04Speaker 1: in his life too. I was gonna say, be honest.
- 41:06Speaker 1: The thing is, people meet people and they introduced like
- 41:11Speaker 1: the better version of themselves or you know, the censored
- 41:14Speaker 1: version of themselves. I'm very open, Like I tell any
- 41:17Speaker 1: man that wants to potentially date me or I'm interested
- 41:21Speaker 1: in whatever the case is, Like, hey, twice a day,
- 41:24Speaker 1: like this is what I do. Like yeah, Like I
- 41:29Speaker 1: get phone calls late at night from guy's you know,
- 41:31Speaker 1: who need help or who want tables or want to
- 41:34Speaker 1: know what's popping or I run a dope as Sunday
- 41:38Speaker 1: brunch event. I am right now, and you know it's
- 41:42Speaker 1: just like it is very important. Like you're not going
- 41:46Speaker 1: to make me feel awkward about my job. You're not
- 41:48Speaker 1: going to make me feel awkward about my career goals
- 41:51Speaker 1: and the fact that I have to have relationships with
- 41:53Speaker 1: people of the opposite sex. You will never have to
- 41:55Speaker 1: be around they want I feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we're in
- 41:59Speaker 1: that end of her immediate space. She don't have to
- 42:04Speaker 1: have them in her media space. And if it's business,
- 42:07Speaker 1: they got to have rules. No, that's cool. They've been
- 42:09Speaker 1: calling you for a certain guidelines, so that's don't don't
- 42:12Speaker 1: don't be so freezy. This is what this way I
- 42:14Speaker 1: have the issue. What are the rules. They don't understand
- 42:17Speaker 1: that people gonna call They call you in the middle
- 42:19Speaker 1: of night. No, no, Kenny, they are going to call night.
- 42:22Speaker 1: If this is your big I am going to answer
- 42:25Speaker 1: the phone. If it's if it's if it's someone I have,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I am going to answer the phone. You need to something,
- 42:31Speaker 1: you have to call her. You know what I'm saying.
- 42:33Speaker 1: But he's saying as him. But that's what she say,
- 42:36Speaker 1: that's what she has to tell her due. But what
- 42:38Speaker 1: I'm saying to the people that call her that are
- 42:40Speaker 1: not her male friends. Yeah, it's different. If somebody was
- 42:45Speaker 1: a table at compound on Saturday night and they didn't
- 42:47Speaker 1: decide to do it until PM. They're gonna call me.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I'm going to answer those of my business that I'm
- 42:54Speaker 1: talking about, the ones that are your friends that aren't
- 42:56Speaker 1: your friends. Yeah, No, that's cool. I I'm only talking
- 43:01Speaker 1: about like, because I did date someone who in the
- 43:03Speaker 1: beginning told me he was comfortable with my career, he
- 43:07Speaker 1: didn't mind what I did, and then all of a
- 43:09Speaker 1: sudden he started having problems with do you have to
- 43:12Speaker 1: go to work tonight? Can you just say, yeah, I
- 43:14Speaker 1: gotta go to work tonight? Like what do you what
- 43:16Speaker 1: do you mean? Let me just say this to all
- 43:17Speaker 1: the women out there listening. Your man sees things you
- 43:21Speaker 1: don't because he's a man, just like y'all. Y'all I agree.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I'm just saying, see me see the fact that I
- 43:30Speaker 1: got this. We're a certain detector though women it's known
- 43:38Speaker 1: to man trust us, trust trust the woman you're with, Like,
- 43:43Speaker 1: just trust that. We're just giving scenario because this young
- 43:46Speaker 1: ladies clearly still in love with her man. More than
- 43:49Speaker 1: likely she she is how I used to be, and
- 43:52Speaker 1: she wasn't honest about her friendships, Like she wasn't honest
- 43:55Speaker 1: about the people in her life. She probably only talked
- 43:57Speaker 1: about girlfriends for a while or loosely talked about, you know,
- 44:01Speaker 1: her male relationships. And that's why I feel like you
- 44:03Speaker 1: have to be upfront and honest because the more information
- 44:06Speaker 1: you give somebody, you allow them to make a decision
- 44:08Speaker 1: on how they want to be involved and stuff again,
- 44:11Speaker 1: and like that that says a lot about the person.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I just want to know how much does honestly really
- 44:17Speaker 1: play a part in day nowadays, because I don't think
- 44:19Speaker 1: anyone gets the truth. I think it's so spotty until
- 44:24Speaker 1: you know. But then it's like you don't got so
- 44:26Speaker 1: many holes and gaps in the truth telling that by
- 44:30Speaker 1: the time you get to the serious part there's a
- 44:32Speaker 1: whole bunch of ships in the back. That I used
- 44:35Speaker 1: to that person being spotty with with what I gave,
- 44:38Speaker 1: and I realized that did not benefit me in the
- 44:40Speaker 1: long run. So now I don't care I tell you,
- 44:43Speaker 1: And if you don't like it, great, like great, because
- 44:45Speaker 1: at least we know now, like cool, all right, I
- 44:48Speaker 1: wanta we gotta get this. We're giving the phone number again.
- 44:51Speaker 1: We gotta get this, you know. Yeah, when they do that,
- 44:53Speaker 1: I don't have them. We need them to want to
- 44:54Speaker 1: have this conversation on the air. You can come to
- 44:57Speaker 1: the ball Alert show and you can get down with
- 45:00Speaker 1: to get down and we can have some real off
- 45:01Speaker 1: thing because I think we give answers, but I think
- 45:05Speaker 1: it's some ship we don't be knowing that we could
- 45:07Speaker 1: get to the bottom the details. So people in the
- 45:10Speaker 1: land to y'all, what's the number, y'all? Three oh five,
- 45:13Speaker 1: eight seven six sixty six. That is three oh five
- 45:17Speaker 1: eight seven six sixty six thirty one. And now a
- 45:21Speaker 1: word from our sponsors, and now it's time for comment. Creeping.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Oh my lord, Okay, you guys. So about two weeks ago,
- 45:36Speaker 1: former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Durant,
- 45:41Speaker 1: we're going back and forth on social media. They were
- 45:44Speaker 1: having a public feud, all right. Everybody knew about it,
- 45:48Speaker 1: and it was really unfortunate. Um, nobody wanted to see
- 45:52Speaker 1: these two former teammates go through this, especially so publicly.
- 45:56Speaker 1: And if you didn't know, Kevin Durant is actually out
- 45:59Speaker 1: right now, isn't he? Is he? Is he not? Is
- 46:01Speaker 1: he not? Playing? So still out? So it's you know,
- 46:05Speaker 1: he had time, he was sitting there healing, he had
- 46:08Speaker 1: time to go back and forth on social media. But
- 46:11Speaker 1: shortly after Kobe's death, which I think this is really
- 46:16Speaker 1: really important. Um At Kendrick Perkins went on Twitter to say,
- 46:21Speaker 1: just wanted to tell you I love you, my brother,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and whatever I did to hurt you, I'm sorry, bro,
- 46:26Speaker 1: and hope you forgive me. I love you, bro real
- 46:29Speaker 1: talk At k D Trey five, I can only imagine
- 46:33Speaker 1: his emotions were sky high and he realized whatever it
- 46:36Speaker 1: is that we're feuding about is not important. Life is
- 46:39Speaker 1: not promised tomorrow, let alone today right now. And I'm
- 46:43Speaker 1: glad that he made that apology public because their feud
- 46:47Speaker 1: was public. I don't know if Kevin Durant has accepted
- 46:51Speaker 1: his apology. I don't know if he has responded, but
- 46:54Speaker 1: I will stay on it and hopefully they can make amends.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I want to see these two black men work it out. Yeah.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I think time is not guaranteed, and the longer you
- 47:05Speaker 1: let it fester in your soul, the longer you will
- 47:09Speaker 1: hold onto the bullshit. I think if, like you said,
- 47:11Speaker 1: even this last segment, Susan, what you know, I'm gonna
- 47:14Speaker 1: tell the truth what it is. If you defends somebody's
- 47:17Speaker 1: at least get it up out of your system, get
- 47:20Speaker 1: it off your chest. Hey, you guys. If y'all want
- 47:24Speaker 1: to call us and share some of your baller mail,
- 47:27Speaker 1: or you see a crazy comment creeping situation, feel free
- 47:30Speaker 1: to give us a call at three zero five eight
- 47:33Speaker 1: seven six six six three one call us. Don't be skirt,
- 47:38Speaker 1: and now it's time for balling Nation. We lost a
- 47:46Speaker 1: great one. We post these comments on my b Honest
- 47:50Speaker 1: Lifestyle page to motivate and inspire, and this one by
- 47:54Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant should be a two you use in your
- 47:58Speaker 1: everyday life. Every a negative pressure, challenges is all an
- 48:03Speaker 1: opportunity for me to rise. What he's saying is dedicating

- 48:19Speaker 1: from our fallen angel. God bless your peace because there's
