  Speaker 1: in prayer to be able to have the Holy Spirit

  Speaker 1: be able to speak through this mic and go through

  Speaker 1: the listeners' ears and be able to reach their hearts

  Speaker 1: and minds and be able to apply these verses to
• 0:19
  Speaker 1: their lives.

  Speaker 2: In the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And before we get into the verse of the day,

  Speaker 1: as I prayed that prayer, I didn't close my eyes.

  Speaker 1: I didn't put my hands together. Nowhere in the Bible

  Speaker 1: does it say that you have to do that.

  Speaker 2: Come as you are. Speak as you are. Who you are.

  Speaker 1: Don't try to act like you are something when you're

  Speaker 1: coming to Jesus. Because that's the one thing.

  Speaker 2: He knows you. He knows your heart. He knows your

  Speaker 2: mind more than you even do. Just remember that.

  Speaker 1: So we're going to get into the verse of the

  Speaker 1: day and I'm going to give you a little bit

  Speaker 1: of time to be able to grab your Bibles or

  Speaker 1: hear along. We're going to be in Psalms chapter 46

  Speaker 1: verse 10 and we'll probably get a little deeper into that.

  Speaker 1: Allowing the Spirit to have the floor. Now I want

  Speaker 1: to make this clear that when I let the Holy

  Speaker 1: Spirit have the floor, that does not mean that I

  Speaker 1: will not come in After or before.

  Speaker 2: Okay?

  Speaker 1: I want to make that clear. And it's a choice

  Speaker 1: to be able to put that consciousness of Christ on.

  Speaker 1: Be able to have the Holy Spirit. And it is

  Speaker 1: almost like a pet. You have to continue to keep
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: feeding it. If you don't, then it dies. You have
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: to keep.

  Speaker 2: Not only just feeding it, but making sure that it's healthy.

  Speaker 1: Because we all have a tendency to get away. We're

  Speaker 1: very easily distracted these days. So I've given you enough

  Speaker 1: Psalms chapter 46 verse 10 states. Verse of the day.

  Speaker 1: He says be still and quiet forever. Understand that I

  Speaker 1: am God. I rule as king over the nations. All

  Speaker 1: the world will say that I am great. You notice

  Speaker 1: how it says I rule as a king over the nations.

  Speaker 2: It's not just the nation. It's not just.

  Speaker 1: Jesus isn't just for America. Jesus isn't just for Europe.

  Speaker 1: Jesus isn't just for Africa. Jesus isn't just for Australia.

  Speaker 1: And so on and so on. It's for the nations.

  Speaker 1: For the nations. I rule as a king over the nations.

  Speaker 2: We go back to the first sentence.

  Speaker 1: Be still and quiet. I have done this. During a

  Speaker 1: kind of a paranormal kind of event. And this is

  Speaker 1: just my experience. Obviously, like I've stated.

  Speaker 2: I will intervene sometimes. We all have a story to tell.

  Speaker 1: And there was a time when I was at my cousin's.
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: Kind of a new trailer slash home.

  Speaker 1: And we were indulging in drugs and drinking and all
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: that and.
• 3:45
  Speaker 2: That's the gateway to hell. It really is.

  Speaker 1: And being able to be in A situation that not
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: only tested my faith. But also confirmed my faith.

  Speaker 2: Amen. Because I was laying there on the bed.

  Speaker 1: And I've seen these figures.
• 4:03
  Speaker 2: I've seen things outside. And... The spirits were definitely in
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: that house.
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: And there was noises. There was different things. And there
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: was a point in time where I did get into prayer.
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: And then there was a time... But soon after that,
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: I just laid there and I was quiet and I
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: closed my eyes. And it's not that I necessarily went
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: to sleep right away. I just was quiet.
• 4:32
  Speaker 2: And you want to know what happened?
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: Like not even five minutes after I started looking around,
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: all the spirits were gone. And being it as a
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: follower of Christ now, during that time I was a believer.
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: So let's get into Psalms chapter 46 a little bit.

  Speaker 2: more deeper.

  Speaker 1: I hope that everybody has had a great evening, morning, afternoon,

  Speaker 1: Psalms chapter 46. Let's jump into it.

  Speaker 3: 46. 46. Okay, bear with me, bear with me. Bear

  Speaker 2: And that is... Psalms 46.

  Speaker 1: and I'll repeat it.

  Speaker 2: He says, be still and quiet. Be still and quiet.

  Speaker 2: Understand that I am God. I rule as king over

  Speaker 2: the nations.

  Speaker 1: All the world will say that I am great. Verse 11.

  Speaker 1: The Lord Almighty is there to help us. The God

  Speaker 1: of Jacob keeps us safe.

  Speaker 2: Amen. And that's the best way to end a gospel.

  Speaker 1: There's a lot of, there's a lot of unfortunate events

  Speaker 1: that have happened in our lives. Whether it was self-inflicted,

  Speaker 1: whether it was put upon us. But we can be

  Speaker 1: able to be safe knowing that when we are divinely
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: connected to the Holy Spirit through having that relationship with
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ that the peace goes past our understanding.

  Speaker 2: The shields that are put up.
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: There's so many times as a believer and follower of
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: Christ where I just, I knew that was the Holy Spirit,
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: whether it gave me the way out, always gives me
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: a way out of a tough situation, or it speaks
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: through me, or it.
• 7:43
  Speaker 2: Just, it warns me.
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: And my intuition has been off the past six months
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: a little bit because I kind of.
• 7:55
  Speaker 2: Went against my intuition, against my gut.
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: And now that this person has been removed or they
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: removed themselves, it's kind of been a clean of house
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: when it comes to my intuition. And I still miss
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: this person, don't get me wrong. And this person is
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: my person, but they are sick. And what I've also
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: heard tonight, sick people hurt people. There's just no other
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: way around it. And the more and more that I
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: continue to follow Christ, the more and more that I
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: continue to do what's right.
• 8:40
  Speaker 2: I have a hunger for righteousness. I have a hunger
• 8:47
  Speaker 2: for learning. And I kind of just want to let
• 8:51
  Speaker 2: the Spirit kind of do its thing.
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: And really speak to the listener.
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: Which I'm a listener as well.

  Speaker 1: I want you to understand that.
• 9:04
  Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit.
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: Is one spirit. When you drink and you use drugs.

  Speaker 1: You're putting in multiple spirits. And no matter how strong of.

  Speaker 2: Character you really think you are.
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: Your pride and ego will get in the way. And
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: you might be able to function for a while. But
• 9:29
  Speaker 1: I'm not even just talking about alcohol and drugs.

  Speaker 2: There is... You can be addicted to sex.
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: You can be addicted to porn.
• 9:36
  Speaker 2: You can be addicted to overeating. You can be addicted
• 9:38
  Speaker 2: to shopping. These things do not glorify God. Yet, we
• 9:43
  Speaker 2: still do them. And I said we. Because it's me
• 9:48
  Speaker 2: as well. Of course... I'm in my repentance stage... As
• 9:55
  Speaker 2: of recently. But this is what I also want to
• 9:58
  Speaker 2: make sure that you understand. the listener. I am no

  Speaker 2: better than you.

  Speaker 1: You can do this exact same thing I'm doing right now.

  Speaker 1: This doesn't cost me anything. Only about my time, my efforts,
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: my energy. But it's also rejuvenating. Oh, that's a lovely word.

  Speaker 2: Rejuvenating. When I do... These episodes... And... With less than

  Speaker 2: five minutes to go... I also want to... Leave some time...

  Speaker 2: For me to be able to express how I feel...

  Speaker 2: And what I'm going through... I am.

  Speaker 1: Very devastated with... The breakup of me and my girlfriend.

  Speaker 2: It was just so impactful... Not... Talking about the toxicity. But...

  Speaker 2: Talking about... Just the... The in and out. You know? And...

  Speaker 2: It's just.
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: It's just unfortunate. Because also I see my wrongs in

  Speaker 1: it as well. Maybe rushing the meat. Maybe rushing... The

  Speaker 1: sexual part.

  Speaker 2: And... The obsession, right? The obsession. Being it is at
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: two and a half.

  Speaker 1: Years ago, I was living completely different. And I'm just
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: very thankful that I am where I am today.
• 11:45
  Speaker 2: Mentally, physically, spiritually.
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: A whole lot Has not changed on the outside. I
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: might have a little bit more glow to me.
• 11:54
  Speaker 2: But... People have come.
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: And people have gone. The Lord has never left me.

  Speaker 1: Since I was 16, 17 years old. And then when
• 12:06
  Speaker 1: I was 18. I also was given a gift. Of
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: being able to rap. And that led into doing this.
• 12:15
  Speaker 2: Podcasting.

  Speaker 1: And.
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: My interest in being outdoors, I'm actually recording this outdoors
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: if you don't hear the crickets. There's a lot of
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: times I record my music outside. I record these episodes,
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: like I stated, outside. I'm outside majority of the time.
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: And I believe that's how it's supposed to be.
• 12:37
  Speaker 2: A home is.
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: Meant to rest, sleep. You know, get ready, eat. But
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: it's not meant to just be a place where you...

  Speaker 1: get too comfortable and too lazy. Because it's so easy
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: to get in that procrastination state of mind when you're
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: constantly inside.

  Speaker 2: Constantly inside.

  Speaker 1: It's not good for you. It's not good for your mental.
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: It's not good for your blood pressure. I mean, we
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: can keep going down the line. And you can do
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: your own research. But I also want to talk about.
• 13:19
  Speaker 2: The Spirit.
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: And the fruits of the Spirit in this last minute.

  Speaker 1: I have been able to tap in to my spirituality
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: to the point to where nothing, not even myself, can
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: shake myself out of what God has for me.
• 13:41
  Speaker 2: He can do the same for you. You just have
• 13:43
  Speaker 2: to be consistent in prayer. Consistent And praise.
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: And consistent in reading the Bible. It's three things. It's
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: three things. And I kind of lined them up for
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: you in the right order. The most important is prayer.

  Speaker 1: Praise God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And get into
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: the word that is illustrated by God's people.
• 14:10
  Speaker 2: So. Ooh, the Holy Spirit.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: It's something that comes to.
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: The understanding of the Bible. You don't have to necessarily
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: understand the whole Bible. You just have to believe it.
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: You just have to believe it. There's a lot of
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: things in the Bible that's going to confuse you. And
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: it's not going to make sense. Because it's in a
• 14:34
  Speaker 1: whole other time.
