- 0:48Speaker 1: Famous podcast feed to Infamous. Sometimes roses are red flags.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Infamous is an idea that I think listeners and viewers,
- 0:58Speaker 2: past viewers of the show and viewers today have been
- 1:01Speaker 2: kind of asking for They're wondering what is going on
- 1:05Speaker 2: with the show, and a lot of these questions that
- 1:08Speaker 2: have been even made into television shows like Unreal that
- 1:12Speaker 2: have lasted seasons. A lot of these big questions of
- 1:14Speaker 2: how's the show actually made? Why do people kind of
- 1:17Speaker 2: look the way they look after coming off the show,
- 1:19Speaker 2: and maybe why is somebody a villain on the show
- 1:22Speaker 2: that I meet them in person, they're so nice and
- 1:24Speaker 2: friendly and welcoming. What is actually happening on this show
- 1:28Speaker 2: to make people this way? This has been questions that
- 1:31Speaker 2: so many viewers have asked for years.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Right, Yes, everybody always asks is it real?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Did they make you say that?
- 1:39Speaker 4: And now something's happening in the Bachelor background. The crew
- 1:45Speaker 4: that we have known for so many years pretty much gone.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I know one person that remains. And because they're all gone,
- 1:53Speaker 4: Ben and I, to be quite honest, have not so
- 1:58Speaker 4: many ties there, not so many loyalties left.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Is that why you're willing to do it now?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:04Speaker 4: See, I find myself to be just a little bit
- 2:09Speaker 4: more honest about the things that you and I have
- 2:11Speaker 4: been so protective of because we were protecting the people
- 2:13Speaker 4: who worked there.
- 2:15Speaker 3: We love them.
- 2:16Speaker 4: They gave us so much in life, Like ever, so
- 2:20Speaker 4: much of what we live today is thanks to the
- 2:22Speaker 4: people that work there. And now that nobody works there,
- 2:25Speaker 4: it's like, yeah, I can kind of tell some more stories.
- 2:27Speaker 4: We can give you guys, a little bit more juice.
- 2:29Speaker 2: The juice is necessary now. I will still hold on
- 2:32Speaker 2: to it. I've been lying to anybody for nine years
- 2:35Speaker 2: by saying I do not blame editing for all of
- 2:37Speaker 2: the cast members' mistakes. I refuse to do that. I've
- 2:40Speaker 2: been on this show. Editing has been a problem for
- 2:44Speaker 2: a few but a lot of times it's the decisions
- 2:46Speaker 2: that people are making, or maybe I should say it differently.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I think what we're going to find is it's the
- 2:53Speaker 2: input of trusted producers who help cultivate the decisions that
- 3:01Speaker 2: we then look back on and say that felt like
- 3:04Speaker 2: a mistake.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Okay, So Ben is going to take this side, and
- 3:07Speaker 4: as a victim of Malia may I say editing I
- 3:12Speaker 4: am probably going to be a little bit more lax
- 3:15Speaker 4: when people do want to blame the storyline that they
- 3:18Speaker 4: were fit into.
- 3:19Speaker 2: It's so many different perspectives. Ashley and I can agree
- 3:23Speaker 2: to disagree on this, but here's what we're going to
- 3:25Speaker 2: get into. The show has changed, it has It has
- 3:29Speaker 2: changed over the years that Ashley and I have been
- 3:31Speaker 2: doing the almost famous podcast. We've talked here recently about
- 3:36Speaker 2: how we think the show could be better. A lot
- 3:39Speaker 2: of that is kind of an off hands approach to producing. Also,
- 3:44Speaker 2: the show has changed in the fact that people's pursuits
- 3:47Speaker 2: are different than maybe they used to be. I think
- 3:50Speaker 2: that's obvious to any viewer. The show has changed also
- 3:54Speaker 2: in the lack of viewers that are watching this show.
- 3:58Speaker 2: And part of infamous is going to be digging in
- 4:00Speaker 2: to ask the question why have people stopped watching?
- 4:05Speaker 4: I must admit that since people have stopped watching, there
- 4:08Speaker 4: hasn't been really any infamous moments. You know, think about
- 4:13Speaker 4: the last infamous moments.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, if you look it up online, what are the
- 4:17Speaker 2: most infamous moments of The Bachelor, I think you would
- 4:21Speaker 2: be hard pressed to find any in the last five times.
- 4:23Speaker 4: In the Brown season was probably the last one people
- 4:26Speaker 4: would call infamous, whether it's the podium move or her
- 4:32Speaker 4: just relationship with Tyler Cameron.
- 4:36Speaker 3: There was one more.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Thing, the windmill.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Oh, the windmill.
- 4:41Speaker 4: We had sex four terms the windmill thing, Yes, exactly.
- 4:44Speaker 3: What's his name? What was his name?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Peter?
- 4:47Speaker 4: Peter was in the windmill, Yes, but Luke was the
- 4:49Speaker 4: one that she was coming at saying, guess what. I
- 4:52Speaker 4: had sex the windmill four times and Jesus still loves
- 4:56Speaker 4: me and it was amazing. And that was probably one
- 4:59Speaker 4: of the last infamous moments that we've had and ever
- 5:02Speaker 4: since then it's been a downlold sprial. But hopefully we
- 5:04Speaker 4: do have Hannah Brown coming on the show in a
- 5:07Speaker 4: couple months, and we're gonna have to get into those
- 5:10Speaker 4: since her season is filled with those moments that we'd
- 5:13Speaker 4: love to dig into further.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I'm sure she would love to talk about all those moments.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I'd probably be a blast.
- 5:17Speaker 3: For her in prep for her wedding.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You touched on a few things as we close here
- 5:23Speaker 2: and get started in this infamous journey that I think
- 5:26Speaker 2: is really really important for us to speak to. When
- 5:30Speaker 2: we were on the show many years ago. The staff,
- 5:35Speaker 2: a lot of the staff had been around for twenty years.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Like they the camera and the audio had been around
- 5:41Speaker 2: since the beginning episodes of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. The producers,
- 5:46Speaker 2: a lot of them grew up within the franchise. They
- 5:49Speaker 2: started as junior producers and moved their way up to
- 5:51Speaker 2: EPs hosts of the show. Chris Harrison was around forever, right.
- 5:57Speaker 2: He was known for The Bachelor and Bachelor for the
- 6:01Speaker 2: first time ever, for the first time in Bachelor history.
- 6:06Speaker 2: There is one person, one person we're still on this show,
- 6:11Speaker 2: still around that we are familiar with and know of
- 6:16Speaker 2: everybody else is new and that happened this offseason. That's
- 6:20Speaker 2: a big deal. And so a big of the question
- 6:22Speaker 2: there that I want to get to the bottom of
- 6:25Speaker 2: is why, like why the change, why the switch? And
- 6:30Speaker 2: then what what are they hoping has done differently to
- 6:33Speaker 2: make this show back to what it was?
- 6:37Speaker 3: And can we actually get it back to what it was?
- 6:40Speaker 4: Will there one be a day in the future where
- 6:44Speaker 4: Along Gale is back producing it and Chris Harrison is
- 6:48Speaker 4: back as the host, perhaps after a couple of years break,
- 6:51Speaker 4: and then it relives somewhere else like American Idol Dead.
- 6:53Speaker 4: But we're going to get into this and we're gonna.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Get as many.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Juicy details about what happened in front of the camera
- 7:00Speaker 4: and what happened.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Behind the camera here for you guys.
- 7:04Speaker 4: So what we'll be doing is having some of your
- 7:06Speaker 4: favorite casts come on to talk about what you saw
- 7:10Speaker 4: on TV as an infamous moment, but also what they
- 7:12Speaker 4: experienced behind the scenes, all the conversations that they had
- 7:15Speaker 4: with the producers, how long it got for them to
- 7:19Speaker 4: get to the point in which the dramatic moment was made.
- 7:22Speaker 4: And then we're also and this is when it gets
- 7:25Speaker 4: special guys. We're also going to talk to producers. We're
- 7:28Speaker 4: going to try to make them as incognito as possible.
- 7:32Speaker 4: We want to know why the franchise has seemingly fallen
- 7:35Speaker 4: apart over the past few years. We want to know
- 7:38Speaker 4: not just that, but also how these huge moments were
- 7:45Speaker 4: produced and how your favorite seasons were produced, because sometimes
- 7:51Speaker 4: it's even more dramatic behind the scenes than it is
- 7:55Speaker 4: in front of the camera, as you see from shows
- 7:58Speaker 4: like Unreal This.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Will Be Infamous. Sometimes roses are red flags.
