- 0:15Speaker 3: about last year.
- 0:16Speaker 1: If the one and only do you.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Know the last last they picked with eagle double jib
- 0:20Speaker 4: in your face to me and in the place to
- 0:22Speaker 4: be and you're listening to John Jay and Rich wakes.
- 0:25Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich call us at eight seven seven
- 0:28Speaker 2: nine three seven one O four seven or text us
- 0:31Speaker 2: text jj R and whatever you want to say to
- 0:34Speaker 2: the number ninety six eight nine three. Here's a text
- 0:38Speaker 2: about yesterday's show. If you can remember yesterday's show. At
- 0:42Speaker 2: this time, Kyle was talking about how she lost it.
- 0:45Speaker 2: You are kids, right, yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Right, but love them, but sometimes they they kill me.
- 0:52Speaker 2: This texts, Oh my god, Kyle, this is probably the
- 0:55Speaker 2: most relatable thing I've heard on the show. I'm in tears,
- 0:59Speaker 2: laughing so hard because this is so real. You have
- 1:02Speaker 2: made so many of us feel seen this morning.
- 1:04Speaker 5: No, thank you. That makes me feel not alone.
- 1:07Speaker 6: So I like that.
- 1:08Speaker 5: I really appreciate that.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're just chewing out your kidscause they weren't
- 1:13Speaker 2: doing the work where they ever met the house of
- 1:14Speaker 2: the mess.
- 1:14Speaker 5: They were listening and then she said were you cleaning?
- 1:17Speaker 1: I was like, now they're toilets, those poor kids.
- 1:20Speaker 2: So that was about your kids. What's going on with oh,
- 1:23Speaker 2: you know at Peyton's wedding?
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't. You don't know what happened to Peyt's wedding?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Wait wait, okay, So my wife, Blake and I are
- 1:30Speaker 2: there and we're talking to your husband Scott, and he
- 1:32Speaker 2: says to Blake, he goes.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Hey, could you could you take a.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Dog into the left pup shelter because Blake and I
- 1:38Speaker 2: have the love pup shelter and Blake's you know, of
- 1:40Speaker 2: course of course.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 2: He's like, oh you starts describing it and it's your
- 1:44Speaker 2: dog popping and Blake's like, no, we're not taking Poppy yet,
- 1:49Speaker 2: so what is a poppy update?
- 1:50Speaker 1: So he's not sold yet on the dog.
- 1:52Speaker 5: He is not sold Unpoppy yet.
- 1:55Speaker 7: And in our living room we have a little playpen
- 1:58Speaker 7: for her so she can have like time and like
- 2:01Speaker 7: it's like sously when you're training a puppy, you need
- 2:04Speaker 7: to like force them to nap sometimes and force them
- 2:06Speaker 7: to like learn how to play on their own and
- 2:08Speaker 7: be independent. So we have a little playpen, and inside
- 2:10Speaker 7: the playpen she has a crate, and so we'll put
- 2:12Speaker 7: her in her crate at times. She really doesn't spend
- 2:14Speaker 7: a lot of time in her crate, but the playpen
- 2:16Speaker 7: has been pretty useful, especially to give Daisy, our other dog,
- 2:18Speaker 7: who is not.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Who is on the same page.
- 2:20Speaker 7: It's not quite into Poppy yet, and so just to
- 2:24Speaker 7: give Daisy some space for a little bit. So we
- 2:26Speaker 7: actually went over to our friend's house. Actually this was
- 2:29Speaker 7: the night of Peyton's wedding all that, so our friends
- 2:33Speaker 7: we were watching the kids, and so we went home.
- 2:36Speaker 7: We let the dogs out and we fed them and
- 2:40Speaker 7: they were like good to go or whatever. And then
- 2:44Speaker 7: we leave to go pick the kids up. And we're like,
- 2:48Speaker 7: not gonna be gone that long, so no big deal,
- 2:50Speaker 7: like maybe an hour, like we'll stay chat. So we
- 2:54Speaker 7: we go and we come back and Poppy Greets is
- 2:57Speaker 7: at the door.
- 2:58Speaker 5: They were like, wait a second, you were in a playpen.
- 3:01Speaker 8: What the heck?
- 3:02Speaker 5: So we went back.
- 3:02Speaker 7: We have a little camera on the playpen so we
- 3:04Speaker 7: can check in on her and whenever we're gone, And
- 3:06Speaker 7: sure enough, we have the video of her.
- 3:09Speaker 5: She jumped up onto her crate and out of the playpen.
- 3:13Speaker 8: No, she jumped up on my dogs out and then parkour.
- 3:18Speaker 7: Yeah, that is so funny because I want to post
- 3:21Speaker 7: a video and I'm posting it with that sound.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Thank you babe.
- 3:24Speaker 7: So she and then afterwards she sat outside of the
- 3:28Speaker 7: thing for like I don't know, like a full ten minutes,
- 3:31Speaker 7: just going like I'm out here, now.
- 3:34Speaker 5: What do I do? It's literally like a.
- 3:36Speaker 8: Person breaking out of prison.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So when you came home, she said, she greeted you
- 3:41Speaker 2: at the door. Was she like greet you like she
- 3:42Speaker 2: was happy that guy? So she was out for how long?
- 3:49Speaker 9: She was almost the whole time she behaved.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Well, we went and we searched the house. I was like,
- 3:56Speaker 7: there's got to be peace somewhere. There's got to be
- 3:58Speaker 7: something torn up, and from what we what we searched,
- 4:03Speaker 7: she was pretty.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Good a find area.
- 4:06Speaker 5: So Daisy was out and about.
- 4:07Speaker 7: And it's actually funny because Scott also found a video
- 4:10Speaker 7: of Daisy just like leisurely walking and like Daisy's not
- 4:13Speaker 7: a senior dog, but she walks like a senior dog,
- 4:16Speaker 7: like just kind of like everything's painful.
- 4:18Speaker 5: And she's walking and out of nowhere.
- 4:21Speaker 7: Poppy comes running one hundred miles an hour at her
- 4:24Speaker 7: and tries to start playing with her, and Daisy's just.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Like, why are you here?
- 4:32Speaker 10: So you know my kid? Audrey watches Kyle's Kids every
- 4:34Speaker 10: now and then. Audrey came home Saturday morning and she's
- 4:37Speaker 10: talking about Poppy. She's like that dog runs at a
- 4:40Speaker 10: thousand miles an hour in circles videos and she's like
- 4:43Speaker 10: her energy is ridiculous, and she thinks she's awesome.
- 4:48Speaker 7: She does the zoomies, but then she also has her
- 4:51Speaker 7: sweet times, and I feel like Scott's only focusing on
- 4:54Speaker 7: the wild psychotic moment.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You know, speaking rich, your wife wasn't gonna go, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: she ended up making it there.
- 5:03Speaker 10: Yeah, she had all kinds of events happening at her place,
- 5:08Speaker 10: but she made it home because I kind of pressured
- 5:10Speaker 10: her into it. I said, I'm gonna just go by
- 5:12Speaker 10: myself because if you're gonna have to be late, then
- 5:15Speaker 10: I'll just go represent and we can hang out later.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And you know, she showed up and that was awesome.
- 5:20Speaker 10: Because she was tired, but she wanted to give Peyton
- 5:23Speaker 10: and Kadeems a love and hang out for.
- 5:25Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 5:25Speaker 9: I was so happy to see her, especially because I
- 5:27Speaker 9: wasn't expecting her.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Well.
- 5:29Speaker 8: I made sure she had.
- 5:30Speaker 10: A drink that made her very, very happy, and then
- 5:33Speaker 10: as soon as we got in the car she went
- 5:34Speaker 10: to sleep right away. And then yesterday we were discussing
- 5:38Speaker 10: this thing that I mean, I love my wife's death.
- 5:41Speaker 10: I think she's the greatest person I've ever met, love
- 5:44Speaker 10: her conditionally. Having said that, there's something that she always
- 5:48Speaker 10: does that kind of hurts my feelings. In fact, she's
- 5:50Speaker 10: even said, Richard, you're being a tender little vitual.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You need it tough enough. And she's like, it's no
- 5:56Speaker 1: big deal.
- 5:56Speaker 10: And my problem is that she has never opened one
- 6:00Speaker 10: attachment I've ever sent her on a text thread, not one,
- 6:04Speaker 10: not one Instagram, like hey, you need to see this.
- 6:06Speaker 1: This is cool. We should try this. It could be anything.
- 6:08Speaker 10: It could be a funny new puppy that we should adopt,
- 6:11Speaker 10: or it could be a recipe that we could try.
- 6:13Speaker 10: It could be something funny. Politically, she has never opened
- 6:17Speaker 10: up one. And when I asked her about it Sunday,
- 6:19Speaker 10: she's like, yeah, I'm not really interested in attachments. So
- 6:22Speaker 10: she told me she purposely doesn't open them. It's not like, well,
- 6:25Speaker 10: we've texted so much that the thread gets up, you know,
- 6:28Speaker 10: past my vision and I don't see it. She's telling
- 6:30Speaker 10: me she doesn't care to open my attachments. My feelings
- 6:33Speaker 10: are still her even this morning.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Yeah, that was stinging because you're sharing that with her
- 6:37Speaker 7: because you want to, like it's like a moment of bonding.
- 6:40Speaker 10: Really, it could be it could be a delicious beverage
- 6:42Speaker 10: I'm trying to share. It could be something great that's
- 6:44Speaker 10: new at Trader Joe's, all these things. It could be
- 6:47Speaker 10: even a cute picture of the kids doing something.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Nothing she hasn't opened anyhow, Why like, why was she
- 6:53Speaker 1: why was she able a picture of this?
- 6:55Speaker 10: She literally says, I was going to, but then I
- 6:57Speaker 10: decided I did not want to.
- 6:59Speaker 1: That's exactly my wife does.
- 7:01Speaker 2: This thing now that they bring it up, where if
- 7:03Speaker 2: I send her pictures or anybody says her picture, she
- 7:05Speaker 2: never downloads them, so they're always on her phone on
- 7:08Speaker 2: her thread with a little arrow. And then if she
- 7:10Speaker 2: if she takes picture, Let's say she went away for
- 7:12Speaker 2: the weekend and she wants to show me pictures from
- 7:14Speaker 2: her weekend. She goes to the camera, the camera clicks
- 7:17Speaker 2: on the little thumbnail and then scrolls backwards instead of
- 7:19Speaker 2: going to the photo gallery.
- 7:21Speaker 11: Oh.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Extremely frustrating, and it takes forever. Might not open the attachment,
- 7:27Speaker 1: Might not just open up the thing?
- 7:29Speaker 2: Oh man, relationships you guys, it's.
- 7:34Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich and we will post.
- 7:36Speaker 2: You'll post the poppy video escaping prison break up on
- 7:40Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich on Instagram.
- 7:42Speaker 5: I want to talk or throw some shade.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Call John Jay and Rich eight seven seven nine seven
- 7:48Speaker 7: four seven.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You're trying for Peyton's predictions of horsecopes. What do you got, Peyton.
- 7:52Speaker 9: I'm gonna let you know what your ex would say
- 7:54Speaker 9: about you based on your zodiac sign. Also, if it's
- 7:57Speaker 9: your birthday today, you share a birthday with Johnny Depp,
- 8:00Speaker 9: Natalie Portman, Michael J. Fox, and May Whitman, and you
- 8:03Speaker 9: are a Gemini Geminis. The thing that your ex would
- 8:06Speaker 9: say about you. They would say, I honestly felt like
- 8:09Speaker 9: I was dating three entirely different people at the same time.
- 8:13Speaker 8: We all know are Geminis.
- 8:14Speaker 9: They have the sister sides, so they could be a
- 8:16Speaker 9: little two faced every now and then, but they will
- 8:18Speaker 9: complain to their friends that you spent your entire relationship
- 8:21Speaker 9: over explaining your daily chaotic thoughts, ghosting their phone calls,
- 8:25Speaker 9: and changing your mind about the future every other day.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Hilarious, bland God, good morning? What's your signs?
- 8:32Speaker 8: Okay? So Sagittarius.
- 8:34Speaker 9: The thing that your ex would say about you, they
- 8:36Speaker 9: would say they literally booked a solo flight to Europe
- 8:40Speaker 9: during the middle of a serious conversation.
- 8:43Speaker 8: They will expose.
- 8:44Speaker 9: You from running away from every single emotional boundary like
- 8:48Speaker 9: it was a federal crime, masking your deep fear of
- 8:50Speaker 9: commitment behind your unhinged midweek humor. Okay, is like I
- 8:57Speaker 9: don't want none of my ex is talking about me Sylvia.
- 9:01Speaker 12: Hey, guys, good morning.
- 9:02Speaker 1: What's your sign?
- 9:04Speaker 9: I am a Leo Leo's okay. The thing that us Leo's,
- 9:09Speaker 9: or that our ex would say about us is that
- 9:11Speaker 9: we weren't an actual partner. We just hired them as
- 9:15Speaker 9: lighting assistant for our social media feed. They will reveal
- 9:18Speaker 9: that we broke up with them simply because they didn't
- 9:20Speaker 9: compliment our outfit fast enough, and that we treat our
- 9:23Speaker 9: past relationship like a tragic celebrity documentary.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Yep, that's me.
- 9:29Speaker 13: I don't know my favorite You guys, you don't know
- 9:36Speaker 13: this was you don't feel like there's a morsel of
- 9:38Speaker 13: truth behind that, No.
- 9:39Speaker 9: Because my ex was the one that wanted to be
- 9:41Speaker 9: the center of attention, so I was the hired lighting assistant.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That great day. Sylvia, you too, Thanks, thanks for listening.
- 9:51Speaker 1: How about for Pisces, which rich is a Pisces? I believe?
- 9:54Speaker 9: Yes, rich your ex would say that you were entirely
- 9:58Speaker 9: in love with this fantasy version of them that didn't
- 10:01Speaker 9: even exist. They will expose you for completely disassociating during
- 10:04Speaker 9: every single argument, floating through the relationship kind of in
- 10:07Speaker 9: this dreamy blur, almost like you didn't want to be
- 10:09Speaker 9: in it, and then rewriting.
- 10:11Speaker 8: The entire breakup story in your head.
- 10:13Speaker 10: Almost Richie definitely got out of that one.
- 10:21Speaker 8: Kyle, is there a libra in the room?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Kyle?
- 10:23Speaker 9: Your ex? They would say that you spent forty five
- 10:26Speaker 9: minutes choosing a dinner spot and then flirted with the
- 10:28Speaker 9: waiter anyway. They will complain that you were totally incapable
- 10:31Speaker 9: of committing to a single serious boundary because you're way
- 10:34Speaker 9: too busy people pleasing every stranger in the room.
- 10:36Speaker 5: That's probably accurate, John Jay.
- 10:40Speaker 9: Your ex would say that you literally tried to hand
- 10:43Speaker 9: them a quarterly performance review on their communication style. They
- 10:46Speaker 9: will tell everyone that dating you felt like being managed
- 10:49Speaker 9: by a strict corporate boss who couldn't chill out unless
- 10:52Speaker 9: the entire kitchen counter was totally perfectly organized, so that
- 10:58Speaker 9: they would say that you tried to hand them a
- 11:00Speaker 9: quarterly performance review on their communication.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I did that last night to my wife, star night.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Why would you do that to her?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Want to watch?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna says he here's the truth. It kind
- 11:12Speaker 2: of involves you a little bit of Peyton. Yeah, so
- 11:14Speaker 2: here's what happened. So she started taking this. So I'll
- 11:19Speaker 2: just tell you guys about these pepties.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I'm taken, right, and I'm taking. Uh.
- 11:23Speaker 2: There's this Tranzeppetide, which is a GLP two, and she
- 11:29Speaker 2: wanted some, so I give her a shot of it
- 11:31Speaker 2: once a week. She's on it now, right, So she's
- 11:34Speaker 2: been on it for the two weeks. We were driving
- 11:37Speaker 2: to Peyton's wedding reception and she said, did you notice
- 11:39Speaker 2: last night she goes Last night, I didn't have any dessert.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I stayed away from the dessert.
- 11:44Speaker 2: She said, I wasn't hungry at all, and I was like, nah,
- 11:47Speaker 2: I did now that you say that, yeah, I guess.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So we get the Peyton's wedding. I freaking hit the
- 11:51Speaker 2: barbecue and I'm crushed the barbecue and I go, do
- 11:53Speaker 2: you want.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Some of this?
- 11:54Speaker 2: She's like, no, no, I'm not hungry. I'm like, oh, okay,
- 11:58Speaker 2: so weddings. We leave the wedding and I'm it's I'm tired.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I want to go home. I want to watch some
- 12:03Speaker 2: TV and go to sleep. But it's an hour drive
- 12:05Speaker 2: home from Peyton's house, right, So we're on the freeway
- 12:08Speaker 2: and she goes, can you take me out to dinner?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I take you out the dinner. I'm like, it's like whatever,
- 12:14Speaker 2: eight or something like that. I'm like, dinner, I go.
- 12:15Speaker 2: You just said you weren't hungry, and you go. Now,
- 12:17Speaker 2: she goes, I want to go. There's this restaurant kind
- 12:20Speaker 2: of by you called Luna. You've been to Luna. It's
- 12:22Speaker 2: freak it fantastic. They have it in the airports in
- 12:24Speaker 2: a couple placess fantastic. She said, I want to go
- 12:26Speaker 2: to Luna. I go, you said you weren't hungry. You're
- 12:28Speaker 2: on the GLPO one and then she kind of says
- 12:30Speaker 2: she didn't like the vibe of the food there, right,
- 12:32Speaker 2: And she was like, I didn't want to eat.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I didn't want to eat that food.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I go, well, you just told me that you weren't
- 12:37Speaker 2: hungry because of the trizeppatide.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I go.
- 12:40Speaker 2: So that's where I was going, Well, why did you
- 12:42Speaker 2: ask me I for I wanted to go somewhere to eat.
- 12:43Speaker 2: We get this hute.
- 12:44Speaker 11: I go.
- 12:44Speaker 2: You were on You're talking about this GLP one making
- 12:47Speaker 2: you not hungry. So now I want to go home.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I go. But you're talking about wanting to go eat.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I go. So you get what I'm saying. I was like,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you need to communicate better this whole thing.
- 12:59Speaker 2: I'll commun again, not only that. And then this is
- 13:02Speaker 2: on the heels of this first part of the argument.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I'm in bed and I'm wearing my protective sunglasses.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Just that sentence alone.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Jay, She's having a problem with her phone and she
- 13:13Speaker 2: puts her phone in front of my face. I've been
- 13:15Speaker 2: forty five minutes away from Blue from the phone, right,
- 13:18Speaker 2: And she goes, can you get this thing on my phone?
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm like, I take off my protective sunglasses and I
- 13:22Speaker 2: go and I go to help her with her phone.
- 13:26Speaker 2: And then and then I put it, I fixed it,
- 13:27Speaker 2: whatever it is. I give it back to her and
- 13:29Speaker 2: I and I didn't fix it, and she goes, I
- 13:31Speaker 2: put the glasses back on, and she goes, you see
- 13:33Speaker 2: me irritated. I go, yeah, because I'm off my phone.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I go, I'm wearing my protective sung gasses so I
- 13:37Speaker 2: can go to sleep. And she's like, well, if you
- 13:39Speaker 2: would have told me that you didn't want, I got
- 13:41Speaker 2: more protective sun glasses that are why don't I have
- 13:44Speaker 2: to tell you? I go, You're looking at me wearing
- 13:46Speaker 2: sunglasses in bed at night.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I'm like, why don't you like you could?
- 13:51Speaker 2: I go, I'm not gonna say no to you, just
- 13:52Speaker 2: like I didn't say no to you when you want
- 13:54Speaker 2: to go to dinner last night.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I took you to dinner at eight o'clock at night,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I said, But now you did take her to get something.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I took her. I took her.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It is fantastic healthy food Luna Cafe. I think you
- 14:06Speaker 2: lost health, but it's Mediterranean.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I got sidetracked. So anyway, if you don't, if you
- 14:15Speaker 1: at least you took her to eat, so you're not
- 14:17Speaker 1: all you know you Finally you did.
- 14:19Speaker 2: The right thing. I'm backing up Peyton and what she
- 14:21Speaker 2: said Virgios did.
- 14:23Speaker 1: All right, there you go.
- 14:24Speaker 2: If you missed her science, I'll post on my website
- 14:25Speaker 2: John Jay and Ridge dot com.
- 14:27Speaker 14: I must have horned beat hope that way, then step
- 14:30Speaker 14: this way, step that way.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Jas.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Someone on Reddit asked what societal norm did you decide
- 14:42Speaker 2: to stop abiding?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Body?
- 14:44Speaker 2: And apparently people are done doing what's expected of them.
- 14:47Speaker 2: This is what's on on on Reddit. Are you guys ready?
- 14:50Speaker 6: Payton?
- 14:51Speaker 1: You started off?
- 14:52Speaker 3: I don't know what I would what I would.
- 14:55Speaker 8: Try to like, that's so hard.
- 14:57Speaker 5: I need an example, I know.
- 14:58Speaker 8: I'm like, that's such a hard question.
- 15:00Speaker 2: This person that I stop thinking. I can only eat
- 15:02Speaker 2: breakfast food for breakfast.
- 15:04Speaker 8: Okay, that's good, Okay, I have one. I don't have
- 15:08Speaker 8: to wear heels to the club.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Well, that's good.
- 15:11Speaker 8: I don't want to wear heels. I don't wear my
- 15:13Speaker 8: slides in my hoodie.
- 15:15Speaker 2: This person that I am very much a man and
- 15:18Speaker 2: I sit when I pee? Why because I stand all
- 15:20Speaker 2: day and that's my time. I mean, I mean, way,
- 15:27Speaker 2: that's dying on that hill. I'm all for that. This
- 15:29Speaker 2: person says there are lots of online tutorials about folding
- 15:32Speaker 2: fitted sheets.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I don't do that. I do not care if my
- 15:34Speaker 1: fitted sheet is wrinkled.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Same they're probably the fitted sheet though, is that you
- 15:38Speaker 2: don want to pop up off the heat.
- 15:40Speaker 10: But when you fold it for me, no matter what
- 15:41Speaker 10: I do, it always ends up in a ball some
- 15:43Speaker 10: type anyway, Well, then what you do is you foold
- 15:47Speaker 10: the non fitted sheet nicely and then you stick that
- 15:50Speaker 10: on top of your.
- 15:50Speaker 9: Messy And these.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Are societal norms that people are ditching.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Uh, this is I get this person this point of view,
- 16:00Speaker 2: but I have to do this or it's bad luck
- 16:03Speaker 2: in my opinion, saying bless you when people sneeze, Like,
- 16:05Speaker 2: what are we doing?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Does it really need to be acknowledged?
- 16:08Speaker 11: Well?
- 16:09Speaker 5: Why do we only say that for sneezing? Like why
- 16:12Speaker 5: not coughing? You know what I mean?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Are you okay? That's what you do with people?
- 16:15Speaker 5: Oh, you should say I'm gonna bless you.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I wonder if.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Sneezing, if you google sneezing, why they say bless you?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Is it because of some spiritual things.
- 16:23Speaker 1: In the Bible?
- 16:24Speaker 8: For sure, stop breathing when you sneeze, that's why you
- 16:26Speaker 8: say bless you. At least that's what I always thought.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It would.
- 16:28Speaker 10: It may be like in the Book of Odessa, some
- 16:31Speaker 10: somebody like a text.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Is there a Book of Odessa? I don't think that
- 16:33Speaker 1: feels like that should be a Bible.
- 16:35Speaker 10: Maybe it's because when you sneeze, maybe perhaps you allow
- 16:38Speaker 10: room for some kind of spirit to get inside you.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Are you Google Cale?
- 16:42Speaker 5: Why do we say bless you?
- 16:43Speaker 9: Mine says, Saying bless you after sneeze originated as a
- 16:47Speaker 9: protective or compassionate response, rooted in ancient superstitious religious practices
- 16:52Speaker 9: and historical health concerns.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Okay, one of my mine says, it was the first
- 16:58Speaker 7: back in the bubonic plague.
- 16:59Speaker 5: It was the first sign of having the deadly plague.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So people say, oh, so you're dying, dying, Good luck you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Later see, you wouldn't want to be.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Okay, So this person is I often sit on the
- 17:14Speaker 2: train with my phone in my pocket with no AirPods,
- 17:17Speaker 2: just staring out the window. I firmly believe boredom is
- 17:20Speaker 2: an enriching experience. This weekend I came up with I
- 17:24Speaker 2: was calling it be boord hashtag be board I wanted,
- 17:26Speaker 2: I told my wife and go ahead this. I think
- 17:28Speaker 2: kids need to be bored nowadays nobody's bored. I was
- 17:30Speaker 2: bored today and I freaking loved it. Hashtag be board
- 17:34Speaker 2: and I already saw me at conventions speaking to crowds
- 17:36Speaker 2: of people tell them to be bored, and I was
- 17:38Speaker 2: I wanted to start an Instagram.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I even went so far as to look at Instagram.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Accrount called be board and someone I already took it,
- 17:44Speaker 2: but they don't have anything posted on it, because.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I wanted to be people posting like.
- 17:49Speaker 2: You're just on the couch or you're reading, like I
- 17:50Speaker 2: think the problem Like if you're a kid on the couch,
- 17:53Speaker 2: most likely you're scrolling through TikTok. So I was like,
- 17:55Speaker 2: I just want to be bored. I think being bored
- 17:57Speaker 2: is healthy for you. That's my campaign. This personaid, my
- 18:01Speaker 2: husband and I have separate bedrooms. We have for years,
- 18:02Speaker 2: and we get the best sleep. Talked about that before,
- 18:04Speaker 2: but that's popular. This is societal norms that people are ditching. Peyton,
- 18:09Speaker 2: this is for you. We're not having an expensive wedding.
- 18:11Speaker 2: We bought a house instead.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I no longer eat three meals a day at standard times.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Now I just eat when I'm actually hungry without calling
- 18:19Speaker 2: it a specific name.
- 18:21Speaker 1: That's interesting, except when there's other people involved.
- 18:23Speaker 9: I know.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, like I could easily eat at four point thirty
- 18:26Speaker 2: and that's it. But everybody always wants to the oh
- 18:28Speaker 2: way we get So what would you say?
- 18:30Speaker 5: You want to go get a snack?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, well that sounds great. Who's going to say no
- 18:34Speaker 1: to that?
- 18:34Speaker 5: Right? Snacks are awesome.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Anyway, it's something you're ditching, let us know. Text it
- 18:39Speaker 1: to jj R whatever you want to say. In nine six,
- 18:41Speaker 1: eight ninety three.
- 18:45Speaker 15: John Jayne Rich are live on the free iHeartRadio.
- 18:47Speaker 2: App, this time for stacks and hacks. I have stacks
- 18:50Speaker 2: of the information Rich has life hacks. There's a new
- 18:54Speaker 2: trend called practice dating. Has anyone here ever heard of it?
- 18:59Speaker 1: No? I like it.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I like it a lot because you know, when you
- 19:03Speaker 2: start dating somebody, you start dating and you like, it's
- 19:05Speaker 2: not working for anybody. I think sometimes you gotta maybe
- 19:08Speaker 2: that person's or the type you're looking for, it's not
- 19:10Speaker 2: your type. So I always tell my friends I go
- 19:11Speaker 2: find somebody to do something totally different. Practice dating is this,
- 19:15Speaker 2: you go on casual dates with people that aren't your type.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's supposed to lower the pressure by helping you build confidence.
- 19:20Speaker 2: And improve your conversation skills. It's like when you go
- 19:23Speaker 2: out with someone that you don't know, you're just kind
- 19:24Speaker 2: of like practicing.
- 19:26Speaker 8: I don't like it.
- 19:27Speaker 9: I don't like it because what if you're on a
- 19:29Speaker 9: date with somebody and you are their type. Technically you're
- 19:31Speaker 9: just wasting their time, Like you could really let someone
- 19:37Speaker 9: down if they are really into and you're all in
- 19:38Speaker 9: there like, oh, I'm just chatting. So I could find
- 19:41Speaker 9: someone who's you.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Know, you know.
- 19:43Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 19:43Speaker 7: What could happen is you go, oh my gosh, you
- 19:49Speaker 7: are I never thought you were my type, but I
- 19:51Speaker 7: actually really like you.
- 19:52Speaker 5: That's something special.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yes, not exactly what I think.
- 19:57Speaker 2: New survey ask people why their devices aren't updated. Think
- 20:02Speaker 2: about that for a second, because my wife never updates
- 20:04Speaker 2: her devices.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So what do you think of the top answers? Why
- 20:07Speaker 1: you never update? For me?
- 20:09Speaker 10: Like other things don't work with it once you update
- 20:12Speaker 10: it like a whole.
- 20:14Speaker 5: New device, or like updates on your phone.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Updates on your phone.
- 20:17Speaker 7: Oh, they don't have auto update.
- 20:21Speaker 1: On that's right.
- 20:22Speaker 9: I would be like, because you don't like the new
- 20:26Speaker 9: features that are on the.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Phone, they forgot it's available.
- 20:28Speaker 2: They're worried it'll make things worse and they don't want
- 20:30Speaker 2: AI features added in like spywere you guys know what
- 20:33Speaker 2: Sherman Williams is or Sherwin Williams. The paint paint company
- 20:37Speaker 2: they just named and it's so funny. This is about
- 20:39Speaker 2: paint and I kind of had a little Oh. They
- 20:41Speaker 2: just named their loneliest color.
- 20:44Speaker 1: What is it?
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's the one that is rarely purchased, no one ever
- 20:47Speaker 2: gets it, but they still make it. The color is
- 20:48Speaker 2: called offbeat green. It looks like broccoli and asparagus soupe.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Who's using that lonely color?
- 20:58Speaker 1: They always have a gallon of it if you need it.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Have you guys ever heard of email apnea? Email apna
- 21:04Speaker 2: it's where you hold your breath while reading an email
- 21:07Speaker 2: or answering at text, and it could be quietly adding
- 21:10Speaker 2: stress to your day. So think about the next time
- 21:12Speaker 2: you read emailf you'll hold your breath. I don't think
- 21:14Speaker 2: I do. McDonald's is testing a new AI system that
- 21:18Speaker 2: can chat with customers, take orders in multiple languages, and
- 21:21Speaker 2: help run the restaurant operations behind the scenes. I saw
- 21:24Speaker 2: a video of It's pretty freakin' awesome, and he remembers
- 21:26Speaker 2: your order too. If you ever come back there you
- 21:28Speaker 2: say it's.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Kyle on Funny. Oh Heykyle, did you want the same thing.
- 21:30Speaker 1: It's all Ai, It's all I don't like it.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Seventy six year old woman in Florida has been sending
- 21:37Speaker 2: all her money to someone claiming to be Liam Neeson.
- 21:43Speaker 8: Po old people.
- 21:45Speaker 2: She's so insistent that she was arrested for punching a
- 21:49Speaker 2: family member in the face who took her phone away
- 21:52Speaker 2: to stop her from sending money to Liam Neeson's.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so sad. I guess.
- 21:58Speaker 2: A bunch of horses that in the racing world, you know,
- 22:01Speaker 2: like the Kentucky Derby stuff, they're being these top horses
- 22:04Speaker 2: are being successfully cloned and now it's complicating the world
- 22:08Speaker 2: that equestrian sports.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Why because are cloned? I guess, I don't know.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Why would that complicated? Is that illegal?
- 22:14Speaker 7: Is that like pets like performance enhancing Yes, I think
- 22:17Speaker 7: pets performance enhancing clones?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that was some dish.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Nicholas Cage's got that TV show called Spider Noir Spider
- 22:26Speaker 2: Man that's number one two on Amazon. And I guess,
- 22:29Speaker 2: did you know Nicholas Cage turned down the role of
- 22:31Speaker 2: Shrek in Shrek, Neo and the Matrix he turned down
- 22:35Speaker 2: Harry in Dumb and Dumber and are Aragon or whatever
- 22:39Speaker 2: the Lord of the Rings. Those roles went to Mike Myers, Canderives,
- 22:43Speaker 2: Jeff Daniels, and Vigel Mortensen.
- 22:45Speaker 8: Wow, I can't see him in an I know?
- 22:49Speaker 1: What do you have for life hacks? Rich?
- 22:50Speaker 10: You ever go to a work side and you see
- 22:51Speaker 10: the people in the vest and you're like, I wonder
- 22:53Speaker 10: what color those vests mean? Here's how you can tell
- 22:57Speaker 10: here's your life hack. Yellow commonly used by general workers.
- 23:01Speaker 10: I have a yellow vest. I know you have a
- 23:02Speaker 10: yellow best page.
- 23:03Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 8: I try to sneak in a Coachello.
- 23:04Speaker 10: With it well so they think you're a general worker.
- 23:07Speaker 10: Orange is traffic people, green safety officers, blue electricians, red
- 23:14Speaker 10: emergency responders. And if you ever want to see the
- 23:16Speaker 10: person in charge, the supervisor, white vest. Knowing the color
- 23:20Speaker 10: code can make it easier for you to find the
- 23:22Speaker 10: right person quickly when time matters and you are under
- 23:26Speaker 10: the gun. That live hack and many more can be found.
- 23:28Speaker 10: It's John Jaynrich dot com.
- 23:30Speaker 17: The next segment we're going to do is called second

- 23:35Speaker 17: get and that's what the bit is called. Second Date
- 23:38Speaker 17: Update starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
- 23:41Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich. It's not for second Date Update.
- 23:44Speaker 2: This is when you're trying to date. You go out
- 23:47Speaker 2: on the date, you find somebody, you think it's going
- 23:49Speaker 2: to work out, but for some reason they're blowing you off,
- 23:51Speaker 2: their ghosting or something like that.
- 23:52Speaker 1: So we got what do you got? Kennedy on the
- 23:54Speaker 1: lizis Kennedy Kennedy. Hello, welcome to John Jay and Rich
- 23:58Speaker 1: Second Date Update. What's your store?
- 24:00Speaker 16: So I recently went out on a date with a
- 24:03Speaker 16: sig named Cody and totally thought it was going great.
- 24:08Speaker 16: We had a great conversation, you know, good banter, thought
- 24:12Speaker 16: he was super cute. We you know, things got a
- 24:16Speaker 16: little spicy the end, like we ended up pooking up
- 24:19Speaker 16: and like it was so fun. So then I text
- 24:23Speaker 16: him later that night just to be like, hey, like
- 24:25Speaker 16: I had such a great time, and he didn't respond,
- 24:29Speaker 16: but like you know, he had like the read receipts,
- 24:31Speaker 16: so you can see that he's read it. And then
- 24:34Speaker 16: I like I did like just like one more follow
- 24:36Speaker 16: up and like I saw that he read it, but
- 24:38Speaker 16: he's not responding to me. So I'm just like really confused.
- 24:41Speaker 7: That's like the most frustrating zeeling, like to be left
- 24:44Speaker 7: on red like.
- 24:45Speaker 18: You're so great?
- 24:46Speaker 9: Why and you're like and after like I gave myself
- 24:49Speaker 9: to you, you don't even have the decency to like
- 24:52Speaker 9: hit me back.
- 24:53Speaker 8: That's crazy.
- 24:54Speaker 16: Yeah, Like if you're not feeling it, that's fine, but.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Like let me know, right, so when you say you
- 25:00Speaker 2: gave your she gave himself like you guys, you guys
- 25:02Speaker 2: went all the way you.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Guys did it?
- 25:04Speaker 16: Yeah, I mean like, yeah.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's pretty lame.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean that's a hit it and quit a moment.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Like that's you know, could he have been having phone problems?
- 25:16Speaker 1: That's a big thing right now.
- 25:18Speaker 2: There's a lot of phone problems really, yeah, like especially
- 25:22Speaker 2: with my iPhone.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Man, it can't make a freaking phone call. You ever
- 25:25Speaker 1: done that thing? Page? Does it have anybody else?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Like I'll I'll be I'll go to call my son
- 25:30Speaker 2: or my wife and it looks like it's gonna ring
- 25:32Speaker 2: and then just goes ax.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You get the little axes.
- 25:34Speaker 2: It failed call, failed call, failed caffails before I turn
- 25:38Speaker 2: off my phone and way a little bit and then
- 25:39Speaker 2: turn it back on like maybe you know, I'm just trying.
- 25:42Speaker 1: To give him the benefit of doubt because I hate
- 25:44Speaker 1: guys do that. He sounds like a jerk so far, don't.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I don't know if there's ever an excuse to not
- 25:50Speaker 2: call somebody, especially after you slept on them. I mean,
- 25:51Speaker 2: you could end it like be hey, sorry I didn't
- 25:54Speaker 2: feel it's move on.
- 25:55Speaker 1: But anyway, all right, well we can call Cody for you, Kennedy.
- 25:59Speaker 16: All right, sounds good.
- 26:00Speaker 2: All right, hang tight, Let's go put you out whole
- 26:03Speaker 2: for a second to get his phone number, and then
- 26:05Speaker 2: you will call you next second date. Update continues four
- 26:12Speaker 2: to seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich. We're in
- 26:14Speaker 2: the middle of second ate.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Update. Kennedy's calling us because he has her back of Cody.
- 26:19Speaker 10: Kennedy and Cody went on a first date. In fact,
- 26:22Speaker 10: according to Kennedy, things got spicy. There was a first
- 26:26Speaker 10: did hookup, and now she's stuck on red. Why did
- 26:31Speaker 10: Cody hit it and quit it? He sounds like a
- 26:34Speaker 10: total ass hat. Let's find out if we're right. That
- 26:37Speaker 10: was a good recap, right, Kennedy fought on honestly, Okay,
- 26:41Speaker 10: let's get him on the phone.
- 26:42Speaker 3: You guys, Hello, Hi, is this Cody?
- 27:05Speaker 17: This is she?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Oh I thought Cody was a guy. Me too.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Oh, so, Kennedy, you went out with the girl?
- 27:14Speaker 15: Well, Cody, are you trying to find my boyfriend?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Is his name Cody?
- 27:19Speaker 15: No, I'm Cody.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Okay, let me explain something. So you're on the radio.
- 27:23Speaker 2: You're on the John day Ridge radio show. You're on
- 27:25Speaker 2: the radio. Okay, Yeah, And we took a call from
- 27:28Speaker 2: Kennedy and Kennedy's on the phone right now, Kennedy, can
- 27:31Speaker 2: you say hi?
- 27:32Speaker 12: Hey?
- 27:33Speaker 2: So Kennedy told us that she went on a date
- 27:35Speaker 2: with someone named Cody and they slept together, and Cody's.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Not calling her back.
- 27:40Speaker 15: That would be my boyfriend.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It would be your boyfriend.
- 27:43Speaker 15: I just found his burner phone, like he said, it
- 27:45Speaker 15: was his work phone. There are three other girls in
- 27:48Speaker 15: there that he's hooking up with. Oh he's not the
- 27:52Speaker 15: only one.
- 27:53Speaker 1: So why is he still your boyfriend?
- 27:55Speaker 15: I just found this like two days ago. I am
- 27:57Speaker 15: processing it. I am just I can't even believe it.
- 28:01Speaker 15: I mean we've been dating for a year and I
- 28:04Speaker 15: knew nothing about any of this.
- 28:06Speaker 10: Well that's three, you know, about how many? I wonder
- 28:08Speaker 10: how many else there could be?
- 28:11Speaker 15: There's like three on this phone.
- 28:13Speaker 5: What a sneaky little scene.
- 28:15Speaker 8: What's your boyfriend's name?
- 28:17Speaker 15: My boyfriend's name is Billy.
- 28:19Speaker 5: And he's telling people your name.
- 28:22Speaker 15: I know he's using my name, apparent.
- 28:25Speaker 7: I wonder if that's actually kind of smart, because if
- 28:27Speaker 7: then a girl calls he he's like he can like
- 28:31Speaker 7: play it off like he's calling she's calling.
- 28:33Speaker 5: For his girlfriend.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Well, this does solve the mystery.
- 28:38Speaker 16: Kennedy, Yep, it definitely does, Tody, I'm so sorry that
- 28:43Speaker 16: that happened to you.
- 28:45Speaker 15: He Hey, girl, I'm getting hold two of the other
- 28:48Speaker 15: girls and we're gonna pop up on him and like
- 28:51Speaker 15: surprise his ass and call him out for Wait, do
- 28:54Speaker 15: you want to join?
- 28:55Speaker 16: Oh my gosh, oh my god. Obviously I'm obsessed with
- 28:58Speaker 16: that idea.
- 29:00Speaker 5: I mean, yes, that is going to be amazing.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It is confirmed he is an asshat though we were
- 29:05Speaker 1: right about that.
- 29:06Speaker 8: Absolutely. Wait, Cody has so much leverage right now, that's.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Okay, Billy, you slept with a Billy Kennedy. I know what.
- 29:15Speaker 16: Listen, if I know his real name, probably wouldn't have
- 29:17Speaker 16: done it.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Kenny, do you want to prep Cody and like how
- 29:22Speaker 2: did you meet him? Like what's his How did you
- 29:24Speaker 2: guys connect?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Of course? Of course, of course.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Okay, all right, well hold on we can connect you
- 29:31Speaker 2: to right, So well you got you got.
- 29:35Speaker 1: You guys.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Well, thank you both for going on the radio with us.
- 29:37Speaker 2: What wows it expecting that at all?
- 29:40Speaker 1: Wow? Hang tired? Okay, all right that's second date update
- 29:45Speaker 1: with John Jane Rich.
- 29:48Speaker 10: Ja Rich.
- 29:51Speaker 1: What a second date update?
- 29:54Speaker 2: Kathy, good morning, bye bye, good morning, good morning.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Thanks for holding what's going on?
- 30:01Speaker 3: Well?
- 30:03Speaker 14: I was just this second date update kind of hit
- 30:05Speaker 14: a chord with me for a very random reason. But
- 30:10Speaker 14: I just was trying to have an explanation of why
- 30:14Speaker 14: he might not have called. I didn't hear this segment.
- 30:17Speaker 14: But everybody has dating protocols, and some of them are
- 30:21Speaker 14: hidden and.
- 30:21Speaker 12: Some are not.
- 30:22Speaker 14: And I had been doing some dating and I always
- 30:27Speaker 14: learned lessons from those things, and so the ones prior
- 30:33Speaker 14: to this were not good. They were not They were enlightening,
- 30:37Speaker 14: but they were not good. So I went on a
- 30:39Speaker 14: date with a guy. I thought it was awesome. We
- 30:41Speaker 14: had great chemistry, he indicated he liked me, that we
- 30:44Speaker 14: were gonna we were on for a potential second date.
- 30:48Speaker 14: And the next morning I was just being polite and
- 30:52Speaker 14: feeling optimistic. So I just messaged him real quick and
- 30:56Speaker 14: I said, hey, thanks again for a great date. I
- 30:59Speaker 14: hope you have of a wonderful day.
- 31:01Speaker 19: That's it.
- 31:02Speaker 14: Wasn't looking for a response, just being grateful for the experience.
- 31:08Speaker 14: So I'm ghosted and I'm thinking to myself, what's happening,
- 31:12Speaker 14: what's going on? And he wouldn't respond, and I finally said, hey, look,
- 31:16Speaker 14: this is a learning experience for me. I would really
- 31:20Speaker 14: appreciate understanding why it is you're ghosting me after such
- 31:23Speaker 14: a great date. And he did respond, and he said, well,
- 31:29Speaker 14: if I go out with a girl and it's a
- 31:31Speaker 14: really great date or whatever, but if she calls me
- 31:33Speaker 14: back or makes contact within three days, I don't call
- 31:37Speaker 14: her back.
- 31:38Speaker 20: And I went.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Say what now, No, you cut out, you said, and
- 31:45Speaker 2: I went and then you cut out?
- 31:48Speaker 14: Oh oh, and I and when I got his response,
- 31:51Speaker 14: I just said, okay, that's that's stupid.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it reminds me of back I think back in
- 32:00Speaker 2: the day before that whole thing that guys used to
- 32:03Speaker 2: have a rule about three days.
- 32:04Speaker 1: You don't contact the girl for three days after.
- 32:07Speaker 20: Day.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Soones have changed all that. Yeah, the text taing changes
- 32:11Speaker 1: all that. But I'm fascinated, Kathy, you just called in.
- 32:13Speaker 2: You didn't even listen to the seconds because when we
- 32:16Speaker 2: called so you didn't hear what happened.
- 32:21Speaker 14: No, I didn't even know what happened.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't that. It wasn't the rule. It was like, well, yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 1: girlfriend picked.
- 32:28Speaker 14: It was sort of it was sort of like I
- 32:31Speaker 14: told the guy. I'm like, well, okay, good to know
- 32:35Speaker 14: everybody have a thing. But I said, not only are
- 32:38Speaker 14: you missing out on me, but there's potential relationships you're
- 32:43Speaker 14: missing out on with that rule. But okay, thanks for responding.
- 32:48Speaker 14: But all of those during that time, all of the
- 32:52Speaker 14: situations that happened during that dating period, we're learning experiences.
- 32:58Speaker 14: That one one was one that kind and it just
- 33:00Speaker 14: threw me big time, and I went, okay, well, thanks
- 33:02Speaker 14: for responding. Again, have a great day and a great life.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Right, yeah, thank you for calling us, Kathy, Thanks for
- 33:10Speaker 2: sharing that with us at date.
- 33:12Speaker 14: Well, that's why I've been you do, but that's why
- 33:15Speaker 14: I've been single for six years.
- 33:17Speaker 1: All right, Well, that's not on you. You got to
- 33:21Speaker 1: listen to our segments, Kathy.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You got to listen to the segment Nick second, what
- 33:26Speaker 2: do you got Oh my.
- 33:28Speaker 4: God, I was swimming at the radio.
- 33:30Speaker 12: You guys have got to have.
- 33:31Speaker 15: Those girls, all four of them.
- 33:33Speaker 12: Now call back with an update.
- 33:34Speaker 15: After the top to that.
- 33:35Speaker 12: That is hysterical.
- 33:37Speaker 16: This is hysterical.
- 33:38Speaker 14: I was dying.
- 33:40Speaker 15: They have got to call back and tell us how
- 33:41Speaker 15: that went down. I know I'm not the only one
- 33:43Speaker 15: who wants to hear that update.
- 33:45Speaker 1: That's the team we want, right right.
- 33:48Speaker 12: That is great.
- 33:49Speaker 15: Please please if those girls are listening or do you
- 33:51Speaker 15: guys have a way to reach out to them again,
- 33:52Speaker 15: please call back after you guys get him. I want
- 33:55Speaker 15: to hear that one.
- 33:56Speaker 1: All right, Nick, thanks for calling in, Thank you, Thanks, bye. Hey,
- 34:00Speaker 1: we got to cheering tickets.
- 34:01Speaker 2: We need a contestant eight seven seven ninety three seven
- 34:05Speaker 2: one o four seven.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I think we're going to play a member the time.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Remember the time, So call us right now at eight
- 34:09Speaker 2: seven seven nine seven one four seven while we wait
- 34:11Speaker 2: to play. Remember the time. Peyton was talking about Love Island.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I know last season with Houdah, Yeah, it was the thing.
- 34:19Speaker 2: My son Duck was staying up all night watching it
- 34:21Speaker 2: all this season. Same vibe, not the.
- 34:23Speaker 9: Same vibe, not necessarily the same vibe. I'm in a
- 34:25Speaker 9: group chat with a couple of my girlfriends, and they're
- 34:28Speaker 9: not really into this season, but I am.
- 34:30Speaker 8: Really enjoying it.
- 34:32Speaker 9: There has been a couple of girls that have, you know,
- 34:35Speaker 9: the crazy eyes, and we're just waiting for them.
- 34:37Speaker 8: They're like a ticking time bombs.
- 34:39Speaker 1: See as soon as they enter the house.
- 34:40Speaker 9: Exactly, they just have this look a little bit. But
- 34:43Speaker 9: there's a couple of couples that are, you know, putting
- 34:46Speaker 9: all their eggs in one basket right now.
- 34:48Speaker 8: And we're only a week in, but I am really
- 34:51Speaker 8: enjoying it.
- 34:51Speaker 9: There's been a couple of cat fights, There's a couple
- 34:54Speaker 9: of girls on there that aren't necessarily really vibing. There's
- 34:57Speaker 9: been a few bombshells that have entered the villa, so
- 35:00Speaker 9: also a lot of theories because somebody just got voted
- 35:02Speaker 9: off the island or voted out of the villa last night,
- 35:06Speaker 9: but Arion and Maddox didn't say he got voted off
- 35:08Speaker 9: the island.
- 35:09Speaker 8: So people are thinking.
- 35:10Speaker 9: That they're going to bring him back as a bombshell
- 35:12Speaker 9: because he was one of those guys that really didn't
- 35:14Speaker 9: get his fair shot. But I don't think I don't
- 35:17Speaker 9: think he should be in there. I think he needs
- 35:18Speaker 9: to go in my opinion, but it's really good and
- 35:21Speaker 9: I'm enjoying you.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Did you watch the next game last night?
- 35:23Speaker 8: I watched a little bit of the next game.
- 35:24Speaker 9: Yeah, I was super close, and san Antotio came out
- 35:27Speaker 9: with the win. And I know it was pretty funny
- 35:29Speaker 9: because people were counting on Jordan Woods.
- 35:32Speaker 8: She has been carrying.
- 35:33Speaker 9: This good luck bag and I guess they won like
- 35:35Speaker 9: thirteen games in a row, every single time that she's
- 35:38Speaker 9: wearing this bag. And since last night, the president was there,
- 35:41Speaker 9: so you weren't able to bring in bags.
- 35:43Speaker 8: So she designed shoes.
- 35:45Speaker 9: To be able to wear her lucky bag. And they
- 35:48Speaker 9: still lost. So they're blaming the bag.
- 35:50Speaker 2: I said. I saw that they're blaming the president. I
- 35:52Speaker 2: said that yesterday. But I also said, right before the
- 35:54Speaker 2: game started, I said, the rumor is san Antonio is
- 35:58Speaker 2: going to win because this is all stage and look
- 36:01Speaker 2: what happened.
- 36:02Speaker 10: That's all over the internet right now, all the conspiracy
- 36:05Speaker 10: theories that is going to go seven games.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yep.
- 36:07Speaker 9: I gotta say I'm impressed with the with the series.
- 36:10Speaker 9: At first, I was like, I really wanted to see
- 36:12Speaker 9: an okay see in Spurs final. I thought those were
- 36:15Speaker 9: the best two teams in the league. But the New
- 36:18Speaker 9: York Knicks Jalen Brunson is killing it right now. So
- 36:21Speaker 9: it's been really fun to watch.
- 36:23Speaker 1: It's too bad they're not going to win because according.
- 36:25Speaker 10: To the script, script, we'll see I mean, it's it's
- 36:32Speaker 10: going your way as of last night.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Arissa, Good morning, Good morning, Hi Arissa. What are you doing.
- 36:41Speaker 2: On my way to work?
- 36:42Speaker 5: Where do you work?
- 36:43Speaker 1: What do you do for a living?
- 36:46Speaker 19: I just work at a law firm downtown.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, what part of town are you in right now?
- 36:53Speaker 12: Phoenix? Driving a downtown.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Phoenix, Like, what's set house traffic?
- 36:59Speaker 19: I'm on camelback and there was probably right house traffic.
- 37:07Speaker 12: Busy, it's busy for usual.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Okay, we'll drive safe while you're playing this game with us.
- 37:14Speaker 16: Oh yeah, I'm actually going to jokes to work today.
- 37:16Speaker 1: So oh that's good.
- 37:17Speaker 10: Okay, you can really concentrate then, all right, all right,
- 37:19Speaker 10: here's what we have for you, or Rissa. It is music,
- 37:21Speaker 10: it's TV, it's movies, it's pop culture, all mush up
- 37:24Speaker 10: by together into a montage. All you got to do
- 37:27Speaker 10: is tell me what year it all happened.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Players. Ready, let's remember the time.
- 37:33Speaker 9: I was asleep before.
- 37:35Speaker 5: That's how we let it happen. When they slaughtered Congress.
- 37:38Speaker 1: We didn't wake up.
- 37:39Speaker 17: When they blamed terrorists and suspended the constitution.
- 37:43Speaker 1: We didn't wake up then either.
- 37:46Speaker 12: Now in the week my name is offered, I ought
- 37:51Speaker 12: to do is send yes?
- 37:55Speaker 3: Come on, say.
- 38:04Speaker 5: What is your mission?
- 38:05Speaker 1: To stop the war? What wars? War? To end all wars?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Your rock?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Once every year our ancestors come back to our world.
- 38:22Speaker 8: Please have a saved.
- 38:25Speaker 1: All right, some big clues there.
- 38:27Speaker 10: Let me give you a couple of bonus clues here
- 38:29Speaker 10: as well. It was the year also of the fidget spinner.
- 38:33Speaker 10: It was the total eclipse where a bunch of us
- 38:35Speaker 10: were making stupid cardboard boxes to see the sun and
- 38:37Speaker 10: buying stupid sunglasses. An iPhone X or iPhone ten came out,
- 38:41Speaker 10: eliminating the home button on your iPhone forever ARESSA, what
- 38:45Speaker 10: did you hear? Would you recognize? What year do you
- 38:47Speaker 10: think that all happened?
- 38:54Speaker 17: I must say, needed.
- 39:00Speaker 1: An answer, gotta speak, twenty seventeen. What did you recognize
- 39:05Speaker 1: from there?
- 39:07Speaker 17: A fidget spinner?
- 39:09Speaker 10: Okay, Arissa says, twenty seventeen, John Jay, You're.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'm guessing a risk of googled fidget spinners, and it's
- 39:15Speaker 2: probably right because it took her a long time to
- 39:17Speaker 2: say fidget spinners, so she was google. Am I right,
- 39:20Speaker 2: that's okay, But did you google it? Because you're not driving.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I was thinking that.
- 39:24Speaker 14: I was thinking about the cliffs thing because I know
- 39:26Speaker 14: that happened in twenty twenty three, but also it happened when.
- 39:29Speaker 12: I was in seventh grade.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'm not faulting you for googling. I think that's fair.
- 39:34Speaker 2: But I heard Handmaid's Tale in there. I heard zed
- 39:38Speaker 2: and Alyssa Kara, Alysia Kara, and I remember interviewing Zeddi's
- 39:42Speaker 2: my first interview with dogs right where we did it
- 39:45Speaker 2: with puppies with our dog Rescue.
- 39:46Speaker 1: And I wrote down.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Twenty sixteen or twenty seventeen Handmaid's Tail. And there's something
- 39:52Speaker 2: else I wrote down, and I can't read my handwriting,
- 39:54Speaker 2: so I don't know what that word is.
- 39:55Speaker 1: So I'll go twenty eighteen, twenty eighteen for John Jay Kyle,
- 40:01Speaker 1: your move.
- 40:02Speaker 7: I immediately wrote down twenty sixteen when I heard the Handmaid's
- 40:06Speaker 7: Tale because I thought we were all watching at it,
- 40:09Speaker 7: obsessed with that. Before my son was born, he was
- 40:11Speaker 7: born in twenty seventeen, and then like nothing else really
- 40:15Speaker 7: super came to mind.
- 40:16Speaker 5: I mean, I remember the solar eclipse.
- 40:18Speaker 7: We all got glasses here and walked downstairs while we
- 40:22Speaker 7: were at work and looked into the sun and it
- 40:24Speaker 7: was like so anticlimactic. But so since twenty sixteen was
- 40:31Speaker 7: my initial, I'll just pick that year.
- 40:32Speaker 9: Okay, Peyton, I only caught the Stay Song, the Body
- 40:36Speaker 9: Like a back Road, fidget Spinner, fidget Spinner, and the
- 40:38Speaker 9: eclipse to me off, so I'm going twenty twenty three
- 40:40Speaker 9: since that was our last eclips.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Well was twenty twenty three? You say when I wrote down,
- 40:44Speaker 2: someone said I could read my hand running. Yeah it
- 40:46Speaker 2: was Sam Hunt.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Yes, Sam Hunt, Body Lack a Back Road.
- 40:50Speaker 10: You guys got most of the clues in there, Zed
- 40:51Speaker 10: and their Handmaid's Tail. The movie you guys had mentioned
- 40:54Speaker 10: was wonder Woman. In there that was the preventing of
- 40:57Speaker 10: the thing. And we do have a winner among four,
- 41:01Speaker 10: and it is the Googling Arisso with two thy seventy.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Job, all right, you're gonna go see edgeheer and congratulations.
- 41:12Speaker 18: Oh my gosh, Okay, I'm so excited.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Hold on the line.
- 41:17Speaker 2: An hour from now, we got Louis Tomlinson tickets Louis
- 41:19Speaker 2: Tomlinson from one direction.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I wonder if he does one direction songs, I would think.
- 41:23Speaker 5: So, I would think you'd have.
- 41:24Speaker 2: To you have to, yeah, but that'll be an hour
- 41:26Speaker 2: from now, and you also get tickets in the pit.
- 41:28Speaker 2: We're also gonna do ed cheer and tomorrow at this time.
- 41:32Speaker 2: By the way, when we were doing the clues there,
- 41:33Speaker 2: Sam Hunt, I think I've told this, sir before. I'll
- 41:36Speaker 2: never forget this. So you know, in this building we
- 41:39Speaker 2: our company owns lots of radio stations, so there's like sports, news, country, whatever.
- 41:45Speaker 2: And I was in the elevator and there was this
- 41:46Speaker 2: dude in the elevator with jeans and a white T
- 41:49Speaker 2: shirt and he was so good looking. And I was
- 41:51Speaker 2: in the and this might be why I stopped taking
- 41:53Speaker 2: the elevator. I take the stairs now. And I said
- 41:55Speaker 2: to my going, I got to take something. You are
- 41:57Speaker 2: really good looking, and he goes, oh, thanks. I turned
- 42:00Speaker 2: out it with Sam Hun. He was coming here to
- 42:03Speaker 2: do something in the building, and I was.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Like, they have a guitar in his hand. I don't remember.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I don't think he had a guitar. I think I
- 42:08Speaker 1: was just looking at it was as a dude.
- 42:10Speaker 2: His people might have been up here already with the guitar,
- 42:11Speaker 2: and I was like, and he just started it was
- 42:13Speaker 2: that song because I remember the next day everyone was
- 42:16Speaker 2: talking about.
- 42:16Speaker 1: It and I was like, oh, the good looking guy.
- 42:18Speaker 1: That was really good. This was a good looking guy
- 42:20Speaker 1: in the elevator. Anyway, So I wanted to tell you
- 42:25Speaker 1: exactly something I was doing yesterday. Remember I told you
- 42:28Speaker 1: the other.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Day I was driving in and I saw a flock
- 42:30Speaker 2: of birds, and I want to know what he came
- 42:31Speaker 2: up with the word flock.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yes, So.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Yesterday I was driving in and I was thinking about
- 42:37Speaker 2: words and how they come up with words thing, and
- 42:40Speaker 2: I was thinking about words that are silent, and so
- 42:42Speaker 2: I started pronouncing all the words with the silent letters
- 42:46Speaker 2: in it.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I was trying to think about silent words, but silent
- 42:49Speaker 1: letters in.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Yeah, like Stephanie, and I was trying to incorporate those
- 42:55Speaker 2: because I said, I had this interview on the highly
- 43:00Speaker 2: successful podcast jo Ja Vans Podcast with Molly Miller, the
- 43:03Speaker 2: A Issue Women's Coach, and I was so stressed about it,
- 43:06Speaker 2: and I was practicing, and I was practicing questions to
- 43:10Speaker 2: ask her and I said the words subtle, and I
- 43:12Speaker 2: said instead, I said subtle. But this didn't happen. It
- 43:16Speaker 2: was just in my head, right. So then I was
- 43:18Speaker 2: practicing other words, and I'm going to try to say
- 43:19Speaker 2: these in sentences. Okay, So I started think about people
- 43:21Speaker 2: name if your name is pillop, Like, why are these
- 43:26Speaker 2: words silent? You know, like pharmacy, right, thumb, thumb thumbumb, salmon.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Mm hmm, I hear that a lot actually list ten man, listen,
- 43:41Speaker 2: receipt and I wrote down a whole bunch knife kannock
- 43:49Speaker 2: kannock knife.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Sure.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Uh, anyway, those are just words, so I'm trying to
- 43:55Speaker 2: incorporate them more in my language.
- 43:57Speaker 7: The things that occupy your brain time, Judge, it's baffling
- 44:00Speaker 7: to me.
- 44:01Speaker 1: It was hard to come up with those peoples.
- 44:02Speaker 10: I wonder how much time you spent coming up with
- 44:04Speaker 10: those words, like a lot to drive.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I was like trying to come and I know there's
- 44:09Speaker 2: a lot more, but I couldn't think of anymore.
- 44:11Speaker 10: Well, if anybody has any words, as John J. Says,
- 44:13Speaker 10: silent words, they're actually silent letters, silent letters in words.
- 44:16Speaker 10: A silent word would be.
- 44:17Speaker 1: This if we don't need that on the idea. No,
- 44:21Speaker 1: I can't stand that, you know, I can't stand the silence.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Oh oh, here's a text. I don't know which call
- 44:27Speaker 1: this is is John Jay and Rich.
- 44:29Speaker 2: The award for the most boring phone call into the
- 44:31Speaker 2: radio station goes to Kathy not to be rude.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Oh, she's the one who's called that second eight about dating,
- 44:36Speaker 1: which she didn't hear a second. He goes, not to
- 44:38Speaker 1: be rude, but my goodness, she didn't even listen to
- 44:40Speaker 1: the segment.
- 44:40Speaker 2: And then she calls in to pick it apart, like,
- 44:42Speaker 2: get there faster, Kathy.
- 44:45Speaker 7: We just appreciate when people participate, quite.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Honestly, that's hilarious.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Okay, so crowd, there's something I think somewhat exciting going
- 44:54Speaker 2: on in Kyle's world, and to me, it's exciting and
- 44:58Speaker 2: you but you were kind of nervous about it legitimately.
- 45:00Speaker 7: Actually, I'm very nervous about it, and I don't I
- 45:02Speaker 7: don't understand why I'm nervous about it, but I was
- 45:05Speaker 7: asked to be interviewed on a podcast today and that's
- 45:10Speaker 7: never happened, and I feel like, I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 45:13Speaker 7: I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 45:14Speaker 5: Because they sent me an email, and in the email.
- 45:17Speaker 7: Was like all these lists of like five batches of
- 45:21Speaker 7: questions and I had to pick three questions in each batch.
- 45:25Speaker 5: And normally that would help me.
- 45:27Speaker 7: Prepare, but it only made me more nervous because the
- 45:30Speaker 7: questions are like so deep. It's like what lived experience
- 45:37Speaker 7: do you carry with you and carry into every story
- 45:40Speaker 7: you tell?
- 45:41Speaker 5: And I'm like I don't, I don't that and.
- 45:43Speaker 6: I'm like.
- 45:47Speaker 8: I can't pick that one.
- 45:48Speaker 7: And it's like it's just like like the private thing
- 45:51Speaker 7: you do before going on air or on camera that
- 45:55Speaker 7: nobody knows about. And I'm like, I get ready and
- 45:58Speaker 7: I watch TV, like there's like a private thing that
- 46:01Speaker 7: I do. I'm like, I can't answer any of these questions.
- 46:03Speaker 7: I think I'm gonna be the worst podcast intern ever.
- 46:07Speaker 1: So you gotta come up what private thing do you do? Well?
- 46:10Speaker 5: A couple of things those questions it's.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I don't want to share with you.
- 46:15Speaker 5: You I pick those ones.
- 46:17Speaker 7: So I was like, I don't want my answer to
- 46:19Speaker 7: be like I don't do anything that people like. One
- 46:21Speaker 7: one of things like what what's one thing about you
- 46:24Speaker 7: that would surprise your audience?
- 46:25Speaker 5: And I'm like, pretty much share everything around you.
- 46:27Speaker 10: Well, that's true, but that's a good question. What sort
- 46:30Speaker 10: of podcast is it?
- 46:31Speaker 1: Kyle?
- 46:31Speaker 7: You know, I don't even really know a friend. Okay,
- 46:35Speaker 7: so a friend asked me to do it, and this
- 46:38Speaker 7: friend is working with the person that does the podcast.
- 46:41Speaker 5: Okay, and I actually got to meet.
- 46:43Speaker 7: The host of the podcast at the Love Dog Mom's
- 46:46Speaker 7: Day at Love Pop Dog Mom's Day, but because everything
- 46:49Speaker 7: was kind of hectic, we.
- 46:51Speaker 5: Didn't really have a chance to have a conversation, which.
- 46:52Speaker 7: I think I would have loved to have done because
- 46:55Speaker 7: it would have mentally prepared me.
- 46:57Speaker 5: But just be prepared to.
- 47:00Speaker 7: If if this happens that I will probably never be
- 47:03Speaker 7: asked to do a podcast.
- 47:04Speaker 2: No, I think what she says, what if she says
- 47:06Speaker 2: to you, this is weird. I think is to pick
- 47:08Speaker 2: the questions you want them to ask you. That's that's
- 47:11Speaker 2: I've never had that happen.
- 47:12Speaker 7: I actually appreciated that, because if she asked me some
- 47:15Speaker 7: of the questions that I passed on, it would actually
- 47:17Speaker 7: really be a very boring interview. So it's like I
- 47:20Speaker 7: think they I think they sent this out so that
- 47:23Speaker 7: it could invoke like stories like what things can you
- 47:25Speaker 7: share that aren't just a yes or no answer.
- 47:27Speaker 2: So she says, what private things do you do before?
- 47:29Speaker 2: Because hey, I usually do about fifteen car wheels in
- 47:31Speaker 2: the backyard and no one's ever I've never told you
- 47:35Speaker 2: about that before.
- 47:37Speaker 5: This is why.
- 47:37Speaker 7: John Jay is a really good podcast interview, because if
- 47:41Speaker 7: he didn't have an answer, he would just say something like.
- 47:43Speaker 1: That, right, does any commit to it? Later?
- 47:45Speaker 10: If he came to his house, he would find a
- 47:47Speaker 10: way to do fifteen car exactly. So are they did
- 47:50Speaker 10: they come to you because you are Kylon thug of
- 47:54Speaker 10: the John Jay and Rich radio show?
- 47:55Speaker 1: Or is it? Is it something? Yeah?
- 47:57Speaker 5: I don't think I don't think there'd be another reason someone.
- 48:00Speaker 10: They should ask you, like, tell us something that annoys
- 48:03Speaker 10: you the most about each person that you do the
- 48:05Speaker 10: show with, something annoys you about John Jays.
- 48:07Speaker 5: I could take up the whole problem.
- 48:10Speaker 1: That's what I would ask you.
- 48:13Speaker 2: What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?
- 48:16Speaker 2: And why are they already demanding an oscar?
- 48:20Speaker 5: That's a fun one.
- 48:21Speaker 1: What's your most irrational fear? You got a lot of those?
- 48:24Speaker 7: I do have a lot of those, but I think
- 48:26Speaker 7: they're not Ira go say, I don't know if.
- 48:28Speaker 6: For that.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I shouldn't care for the.
- 48:31Speaker 6: Present cotton balls.
- 48:33Speaker 7: I'm scared of somebody coming and killing, murdering that fad.
- 48:35Speaker 2: That's good, this is a good one. This is good,
- 48:38Speaker 2: and she should ask you. This would be a great
- 48:40Speaker 2: one to ask you because of the stuff that happens
- 48:42Speaker 2: in here. If your search history was read out loud
- 48:45Speaker 2: on stage, how concerned would you be? You cannot say
- 48:49Speaker 2: that it's stuff we ask on the air. It's be like,
- 48:51Speaker 2: what is your search history?
- 48:52Speaker 7: Because it'd be like, damn, because of working here and
- 48:56Speaker 7: the things we've talked about on the air, the search
- 48:57Speaker 7: history would probably be pretty mortifying, and then I'd have
- 48:59Speaker 7: to explain.
- 49:00Speaker 5: But wait, that is because actually I was searching it.
- 49:04Speaker 1: What is one thing your listeners think they know about
- 49:06Speaker 1: you that is completely false? Oh that's good, I see.
- 49:10Speaker 5: I don't think I have that. I don't think I
- 49:12Speaker 5: have I don't think I have that.
- 49:13Speaker 2: What is the weirdest compliment you've ever received? That's a
- 49:16Speaker 2: good one. What's a weird compliment you got?
- 49:19Speaker 5: I don't really get comforts.
- 49:22Speaker 1: You gotta start expt what they say.
- 49:24Speaker 2: You're gonna have to think fast and fast.
- 49:27Speaker 9: It's gonna be her toasties or her feet or something
- 49:30Speaker 9: that's very common though, I know, but like.
- 49:34Speaker 8: Some crazy things said about it.
- 49:35Speaker 9: Okay, Okay, now do you see why I'm nervous.
- 49:39Speaker 7: Like it's weird, Like I think it's weird that I
- 49:42Speaker 7: am nervous because we do this every.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Day and here you're totally chill in your.
- 49:46Speaker 7: Fast and I'm not nervous at all ever to go
- 49:48Speaker 7: on the air because I'm like just in here with
- 49:50Speaker 7: my friends and we just kind of rap about whatever,
- 49:52Speaker 7: and it's the focus usually is it.
- 49:54Speaker 5: Really like on me and asking me like about stuff?
- 49:56Speaker 5: So I'm kind of like, I don't know.
- 49:58Speaker 7: Like can I just can I when she asks a
- 50:01Speaker 7: question just answer with a question and turn the interview.
- 50:04Speaker 8: Back on her.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good idea.
- 50:06Speaker 2: So I've noticed lately in a bunch of interviews I've done,
- 50:09Speaker 2: and also when it's funny too. And I was in
- 50:11Speaker 2: Los Angeles last week and I was at this party
- 50:13Speaker 2: in LA and I noticed something that nobody ever asks
- 50:18Speaker 2: like me questions, Like I'm talking to people at this
- 50:21Speaker 2: party and no one's saying anything about me, and I'm
- 50:24Speaker 2: like volunteering stuff because I was just testing them out.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'm never gonna see these people again.
- 50:28Speaker 2: And then like I do interviews and no one ever
- 50:29Speaker 2: says to me, like when I do an interview on
- 50:31Speaker 2: a podcast, I'm usually going right back at him asking
- 50:33Speaker 2: him questions, So no one ever does that.
- 50:35Speaker 1: So I found that interesting.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Here's a question for you, if calories didn't count, what
- 50:39Speaker 2: would you eat every day?
- 50:40Speaker 5: Candy? All the sour things, really candy?
- 50:45Speaker 2: What piece of advice do you give others that you
- 50:47Speaker 2: completely ignore yourself.
- 50:50Speaker 1: That's a good question too.
- 50:51Speaker 5: What advice do I give other people? I try not
- 50:54Speaker 5: to give other people advice.
- 50:55Speaker 7: No, just kidding, I don't know, because I advise people
- 50:58Speaker 7: to try to see the positive and everything, and I
- 51:00Speaker 7: always try to see the positive and everything, so I
- 51:02Speaker 7: kind of feel like I don't necessarily not take my
- 51:05Speaker 7: own advice.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Netflix number one presenter, Kyle, what's a show or movie
- 51:13Speaker 2: you defend it to the death that everyone else on
- 51:15Speaker 2: the show roasted you for?
- 51:17Speaker 5: Did you guys roast me for a show?
- 51:18Speaker 1: Just one show was on show I roasted you for?
- 51:21Speaker 5: You did?
- 51:22Speaker 7: But I will say that I suggested succession for about.
- 51:25Speaker 1: A year a child.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Did you roast me? And then you watched it and
- 51:28Speaker 5: loved it?
- 51:29Speaker 2: No, you came in here for the longest time, watching
- 51:31Speaker 2: some weird Rob Low show that came out like a
- 51:33Speaker 2: twenty seven raised a judge as a.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Lawyer was something.
- 51:37Speaker 2: It was something coming in and be like Kyle, No
- 51:39Speaker 2: one's talking about it.
- 51:42Speaker 1: What was that show?
- 51:44Speaker 5: To watch it again? Double down on this Rob Low show?
- 51:49Speaker 2: If aliens arrived tomorrow, what is the first thing you'd
- 51:52Speaker 2: volunteer John Jay to explain to them?
- 51:58Speaker 1: You gotta think fast. You got to think of You're
- 52:00Speaker 1: not like Kathy.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Right, No, I don't want to do that. I should
- 52:03Speaker 5: probably call guys.
- 52:06Speaker 1: What's the household chore you hate doing laundry? How many
- 52:10Speaker 1: times have you googled yourself?
- 52:11Speaker 5: Never?
- 52:12Speaker 1: Just kidding?
- 52:13Speaker 5: Probably three.
- 52:13Speaker 2: If your life had a warning label, what would it say, Uh,
- 52:18Speaker 2: watch out.
- 52:18Speaker 7: I'm going to ask you to take a fun one.
- 52:23Speaker 2: If you had to survive on only gas station snacks
- 52:26Speaker 2: for a month, what's your strategy?
- 52:28Speaker 5: Easy?
- 52:28Speaker 7: Very easy, you get salty and Sweet's a nice little balance.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Is parallel parking hard for you? Oh? Because you got
- 52:36Speaker 1: a car that doesn't Huh?
- 52:37Speaker 5: No, I just.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Describe your relationship with your phone battery in one word,
- 52:48Speaker 2: not caring. If your life as a radio co host
- 52:51Speaker 2: was a reality show. What would the title be, mom Life, Mayhem, Deal,
- 52:55Speaker 2: Queen Drama, or your.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Own or your own one of those you name?
- 53:01Speaker 1: What would you name the show if it was just
- 53:03Speaker 1: me your reality show?
- 53:05Speaker 7: My reality show would be Kyle's Chaos.
- 53:10Speaker 2: What's one skill you learned from your early days? Is
- 53:12Speaker 2: an intern that saves you daily? And one embarrassing habit
- 53:14Speaker 2: which you wish had stayed in the intern closet?
- 53:17Speaker 11: Uh?
- 53:20Speaker 5: My habit is crutches? Like things that I say on
- 53:23Speaker 5: the air, I think I say like too much? And
- 53:26Speaker 5: the one thing what was.
- 53:28Speaker 7: The first part of the question, I would say, always
- 53:33Speaker 7: continue learning, never think you know everything.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Always continue learning?
- 53:37Speaker 6: Yes, acl acl ac.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Luh Peyton and I interviewed the ASU women's coach yesterday,
- 53:44Speaker 2: Molly Miller. She's awesome and she came up with a
- 53:46Speaker 2: phrase called energy, which is the energy on the bench
- 53:49Speaker 2: bench energy.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Acl could be Kyle's thing.
- 53:52Speaker 2: People are buying hats and shirts to say a cl
- 53:55Speaker 2: but like ohud you tear your sale?
- 53:56Speaker 1: No, always continue learning? Is it always contain the same thing?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Good morning, start your day with John Jay and Rich.
- 54:05Speaker 21: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 54:06Speaker 5: Hey, this is Sabrina.
- 54:08Speaker 1: What's up guys?
- 54:08Speaker 6: This is post blow spencon boone.
- 54:10Speaker 5: As you're waking up with John, Jay and Rich.
- 54:12Speaker 1: It's hot.
- 54:13Speaker 2: It's really hot. It's starting to get hot. And every time,
- 54:15Speaker 2: every year my entire life, I always go, oh, so
- 54:18Speaker 2: just get hot. And I threw this up on my
- 54:20Speaker 2: Facebook last week Jess for funzies. I was like, what
- 54:23Speaker 2: did you accidentally leave in a hot car? And I
- 54:27Speaker 2: couldn't believe the comments and the responses and thought we'd
- 54:30Speaker 2: bring it up on the air.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Lindsey, what did you leave in a hot car?
- 54:36Speaker 19: Good morning everyone?
- 54:38Speaker 17: So I am.
- 54:39Speaker 19: I have fightly a diet coke addiction, and I was
- 54:43Speaker 19: heading to Tampa. I live out here in Florida and
- 54:46Speaker 19: decided to put a thirty five pack of diet coke
- 54:49Speaker 19: from Sam's Club in the back of my car. Not thinking.
- 54:53Speaker 19: I went into my meeting in Tampa, Florida, and pulled
- 54:56Speaker 19: out after the meeting, and all of a sudden, I
- 54:59Speaker 19: hear a explosion. It's like, oh, my goodness, what is that?
- 55:03Speaker 19: Six of them exploded in the back of my car,
- 55:06Speaker 19: But because it was covered with a plastic, it was loud.
- 55:10Speaker 19: So I get to the hotel, I go to unload
- 55:12Speaker 19: the diet coke, this grenade, the diet coke. I pulled
- 55:16Speaker 19: them all out and the last one exploded all over
- 55:19Speaker 19: the front of me, in front of the whole group
- 55:21Speaker 19: of people. It was a mess. It was an absolute disaster.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Now that's something I did.
- 55:26Speaker 10: I don't think I knew that that cans of soda
- 55:28Speaker 10: would explode in a hot car, but I guess it
- 55:30Speaker 10: makes sense.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Bobs body. It was a mess.
- 55:34Speaker 19: The only bright side of it is the plastic contained it,
- 55:37Speaker 19: so it wasn't too big of a mess in my car.
- 55:39Speaker 19: But I was definitely covered in diet coke, and of
- 55:42Speaker 19: course in front of all my coworkers in front of
- 55:45Speaker 19: the hotel, just diet coke everywhere.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's very funny and sad at the same time.
- 55:49Speaker 2: By the way, Tampa, Florida on the list of the
- 55:52Speaker 2: ten sweatiest cities.
- 55:53Speaker 1: It's number six.
- 55:55Speaker 19: Absolutely. Hey, and I actually know all of you. I
- 55:58Speaker 19: have a love Pup dog. I actually did the event
- 56:01Speaker 19: at your house back in twenty seventeen for Love Pup
- 56:04Speaker 19: with caras.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Oh, Lindy got that black dog that really keep black
- 56:09Speaker 1: dog from us?
- 56:10Speaker 19: Yep, I got Hannah. She is nine years old and
- 56:13Speaker 19: she has two four year old brothers right now, two
- 56:15Speaker 19: Golden retrievers. Are you still well?
- 56:18Speaker 1: Are you still with Carabas?
- 56:20Speaker 19: I am actually with Bonefish Grill now, the same umbrella
- 56:24Speaker 19: of restaurants, and that's how I ended up out here
- 56:27Speaker 19: in Florida.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Well, thanks for listening Lindsey and participating.
- 56:30Speaker 19: Oh my gosh, I listened to your podcast as I
- 56:32Speaker 19: drive across the state every day.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Wow. Thanks Lindsey. We'll have a great day stare from
- 56:37Speaker 1: that day of coke.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 19: Absolutely.
- 56:40Speaker 2: She listened to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or
- 56:43Speaker 2: wherever you get podcasts. You search John Jay and Rich
- 56:45Speaker 2: on demand. Abby, Abby, good morning.
- 56:48Speaker 20: Hey, how are you guys?
- 56:49Speaker 1: What did you accidentally leave in a hot car?
- 56:52Speaker 3: Well?
- 56:53Speaker 20: I live in Glendale, Arizona, so it's very very hot
- 56:57Speaker 20: most days, and I am a respite for artistic children,
- 57:02Speaker 20: and in order to transport them, by law, you have
- 57:06Speaker 20: to have a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher
- 57:08Speaker 20: in your car at all times when you're transporting them.
- 57:12Speaker 20: So two summers ago was my first summer. I go
- 57:16Speaker 20: out to the car and I didn't even read the
- 57:19Speaker 20: directions when they gave it to me, so I just
- 57:21Speaker 20: put it in the cup holder. Of my car door
- 57:24Speaker 20: and just called it good. And it's been there for
- 57:27Speaker 20: you know, eight months at this point, and I go
- 57:29Speaker 20: out to my car open it up, and at this point,
- 57:33Speaker 20: this poor little elderly couple was walking across the street
- 57:36Speaker 20: when I was doing this, and when I opened it up,
- 57:39Speaker 20: it just exploded. The whole cap fell off. The whole
- 57:42Speaker 20: cap just went like fifty feet in the air. The
- 57:44Speaker 20: fire expquencor fell out of the car. I thought we
- 57:47Speaker 20: were getting shot at, and us in the the elderly
- 57:51Speaker 20: couple both like hit cover. And then in the middle
- 57:55Speaker 20: of the street here comes the little cap just blocked
- 57:59Speaker 20: in the middle of the street. And then we realized
- 58:01Speaker 20: that it was the fire extinguisher that just exploded out
- 58:05Speaker 20: of my the thank goodness, it was the car door
- 58:09Speaker 20: that was open, because it just went straight up in
- 58:12Speaker 20: the air instead of.
- 58:13Speaker 12: Into the car.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Was there foam everywhere?
- 58:15Speaker 13: There?
- 58:15Speaker 20: The absolute crap out of me.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Huh, was there foam everywhere like you know in the.
- 58:19Speaker 20: Movies and they show No, it was just the cap
- 58:23Speaker 20: and the Yeah, no, there was just no foam everywhere.
- 58:26Speaker 20: So now I have to keep I got another one,
- 58:28Speaker 20: and I have to keep it in my backpack. And
- 58:30Speaker 20: I just bring my backpack whenever I have to transport
- 58:33Speaker 20: one of the kiddos, but I don't keep it in
- 58:34Speaker 20: my car anymore because you know, obviously it's not not safe.
- 58:40Speaker 20: But I thought I was getting shot at.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Well, thanks for calling in, Evie, Thanks for listening.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Cinnamon. What did you accidentally leave in a hot car? Cinnamon?
- 58:53Speaker 14: Oh, hey, hi, good.
- 58:54Speaker 18: Morning you guys.
- 58:55Speaker 4: Sorry, I didn't even hear you say my name.
- 58:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry, well, good morning.
- 58:58Speaker 4: An onion backtally, it had rolled out of a grocery bag,
- 59:02Speaker 4: but I didn't realize it at the time. I just
- 59:04Speaker 4: could understand why my car smelled like Italian.
- 59:11Speaker 14: Yeah, and it had gotten.
- 59:13Speaker 4: Somehow between the second roast seat and the third roast
- 59:15Speaker 4: seat because I had my third row seats down and
- 59:17Speaker 4: I've always left them down, so I would search the
- 59:20Speaker 4: car and I'm like, I don't understand where the smell
- 59:22Speaker 4: is coming from. Until I went to the car wash
- 59:25Speaker 4: and they had actually pulled up my seats and they're like, ma'am,
- 59:27Speaker 4: there's like an underneath your seat and I was like
- 59:31Speaker 4: what And the smell lasted for minds like well, I
- 59:34Speaker 4: had gotten the vanilla like air freshener spray in there,
- 59:37Speaker 4: so it smelled like Italian vanilla.
- 59:41Speaker 11: It was. It was awful.
- 59:43Speaker 4: But that's the one thing I missed about Arizona is
- 59:45Speaker 4: the car wash. We don't have those out here in Georgia,
- 59:47Speaker 4: where they detail your car when you bring it through.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Thanks. Thanks for listening to Georgia.
- 59:53Speaker 14: Oh I love it.
- 59:54Speaker 4: I've been listening to you guys since the early two thousands,
- 59:56Speaker 4: and so if it wasn't for iHeartRadio, I don't think
- 59:59Speaker 4: i'd be able to like have a little piece of
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: home with me.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: That's great.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Thanks for calling me this morning, though, I appreciate it.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Thanks. Good morning, Celeste, Good morning. Would you leave.
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: I'm in Colorado and I left edibles like gummy edibles
- 1:00:17Speaker 12: in my car. They all melt, They will melt together
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: in like one big block of edible.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: You just eat it like an.
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: Apple pretty much. At that point, you just passed it
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: around and everybody takes a bike.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: You created a game without even knowing it.
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: Yeah, you don't know if you know you're gonna get
- 1:00:40Speaker 13: a bunch of it, or if you're not going to
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: get a bunch of it, or if it all melted
- 1:00:43Speaker 13: into the other bite but it's kind of a game
- 1:00:46Speaker 13: of roulette at that point.
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: How long does that take fifteen minutes or so to
- 1:00:50Speaker 10: figure it out once it gets through your system?
- 1:00:53Speaker 12: No, I think it's more like an hour thirty minutes
- 1:00:57Speaker 12: to an hour or so for win it, you know,
- 1:01:00Speaker 12: actually tries to kick in. But our tolerance in Colorado
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: is pretty high, so we don't. I don't think that
- 1:01:08Speaker 12: you know, it affects us as much. But yeah, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 12: so now it's like no chocolate, you can't buy chocolate bars,
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: and yeah, don't leave your Demie edibles in your car
- 1:01:20Speaker 12: either when it's one hundred degrees outside.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Thanks Alas, thanks for listening.
- 1:01:25Speaker 12: Thank you guys, have a great take.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: What did you accidentally leave in a hot car?
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: So I put on my Facebook and this I can't
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: get this visual out of my head because I want
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: to know what happened. But Sarah says, a stick of
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: butter in my cup holder, like what you dip your
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: lobster in the cup holder?
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: And I sauce.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Peter says, a gallon of contact adhesive. The lid blew off,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: tipped over and spilled on all over my back seat
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: of my truck. Oh, Jennifer's is not me, but a
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: girl I went to cosmetology school with left a thing
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: of hairspray in her car and it exploded. It went
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: through her windshield. Whoah, camera says. A whole chicken fell
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: out of the grocery bag and sat in the Tucson
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: sun for a full day. I bet that smelled awful, totally, Kevin,
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: good morning, what did you leave in a hot car?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: About thirty year.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I can't hear you, Kevin. Oh, I think you got
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the phone to your throat. You're right?
- 1:02:26Speaker 11: Is that better?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: All right, I was on a head, said cheap heads head.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: About thirteen years ago, we had gone grocery shopping and
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: my two oldest were unloading the groceries. Well, they felled
- 1:02:40Speaker 11: to grab a whole chicken that was in the car. Now,
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: I don't drive this car. It was my wife's car.
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: So a couple of days later she kept telling me
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: how bad the car smelled. I'm like, okay, I didn't
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: think much about it. So I said, okay, I'll drive
- 1:02:58Speaker 11: it to work and i'll see what it is. Get
- 1:03:01Speaker 11: in the car and it's It was the most horrific
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: smell I have ever. It was just awful. So I
- 1:03:11Speaker 11: get out of the car and I am like digging
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: through everything in this car not finding the thing. So
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: I rolled all the windows down, drive to work, and
- 1:03:20Speaker 11: it's just my head is like half out of the
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: car because it's just that bad. I get to work
- 1:03:28Speaker 11: and I decided to pop the trunk. Well, that's where
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: the kicken was discovered.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Would you say that the smell was foul?
- 1:03:39Speaker 11: Oh, it was beyond foul. It was it took I
- 1:03:43Speaker 11: mean we got rid of the car three years, oh,
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: never fully went away everywhere.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: But he didn't pop the trunk. Well, I checked the
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: whole car. Nothing not my car.
- 1:03:57Speaker 11: So but yeah, it was just and I would say
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: I I had to. I ended up ripping a carpet out.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Ess was I think the bomb?
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: You can like put like an odor bomb in your car,
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: and it's supposed to take out even the like even
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: burning hair smell. If like it's supposed to kill everything.
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: Now they can do it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 11: Well, A friend mine worked at a dealership and he
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: put no zones in there.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Ozone doesn't I did to my car. It didn't work, Kevin,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: thanks for calling in.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I let somebody borrow my car one time and they
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: and they smoked a cigar in it and wore a
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: bunch of cologne and it wouldn't come out, and I
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: got rid of the car.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: There's nothing I can do. I did the ozone thing.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I did everything too. Really, it was surprising.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Hey, we're gonna play a minute to win it. We
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: need to contest it right now. Eight seven seven nine
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: three seven one o four seven. While we wait for
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: a contestant, I was going over speaking of heat, because
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I'm talking about the there's a list of the the
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: sweatiest cities in the United States.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Okay, so, and you would think that Arizona's in there.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Better it should be.
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: It's not because we have a dry heat, I know,
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: somewhere with the humidity.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: Yeah, it's Florida, Georgia.
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: Yeah, that's true. New Orleans is pretty pretty nice. Always
- 1:05:10Speaker 10: joke about the dry heat, but it's legit. Yeah, because
- 1:05:13Speaker 10: if you it could be one hundred and ten and whatever.
- 1:05:15Speaker 10: And then when you go like when it's dark outside,
- 1:05:17Speaker 10: it's nice, yeah, right, Or if you jump in a
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: pool and get out and go stand in the shade,
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: it's cold, it's freezing.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: It's such a it's such a blessing to live here.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: But here are the top ten sweatiest cities. Number ten
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: is Jacksonville, Florida. Number nine is Houston, Texas. I lived
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: in for four years. It was miserable.
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: I went to go visit John Jay in Houston. It's
- 1:05:36Speaker 10: like he can't to be a slice of air. It's
- 1:05:38Speaker 10: so humid here you go.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Houston at one point it still might be is the
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: most air conditioned city in the United States.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Number eight is New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Ye then Orlando, Florida, Melbourne, Florida, Honolulu, Whwaii is number four.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Fort Myers, Florida. Miami, Florida is number two, and the
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: number one sweatiest city in the United States is West
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Palm Each, Florida. Uh tracks, it's because I'm watching this
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: show on Peacock called Mia, and it takes place in
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Florida in Miami, and it's like every time I see footage,
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: I'm like, Wow, that looks so cool, Like it looks
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: so beautiful. It kind of cool to go if it's there,
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: take a vacation there. And then I'm like, but everybody
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: there's in the cartel or hides all their bodies and
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: kills everybody. According to all the shows I watch, so
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: maybe not, yeah.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Because that Dexter's around there too, isn't it.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I mean. Dexter Like
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: the show right now is like when they kill people.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: Sometimes they kill people they drop them. They dropped them
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: off in the in the certain bay, remember the bay
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: harbor butcher like, and there must be if that's true,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: that's basically there must be a lot of dead bodies.
- 1:06:40Speaker 10: Now they say the Gulf stream takes it out to
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: the Atlantic, so they all drop them there, so it'll
- 1:06:44Speaker 10: carry the bodies out to sea and then you never
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: find them.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Okay, you got one thousand dollars of Pat Hickey's money.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: We need to contest.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: You just got to answer ten of riches questions in
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: a row. You can't pass. You have to answer. You
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: got to do it under a minute.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: And Dallan, good morning, Hey, good morning guys. What are
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you doing right now? Where are you going?
- 1:07:06Speaker 21: I am driving to work. I work for an autism school.
- 1:07:09Speaker 21: I'm in the marketing director.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Oh and what part of town are you in right now?
- 1:07:14Speaker 15: Matha?
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Are you on the freeway?
- 1:07:17Speaker 21: I'm pulling into my shop in about two seconds. On tower,
- 1:07:22Speaker 21: do you want us?
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Do you want us to wait for you to park,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: or do you want to do it now?
- 1:07:26Speaker 21: I'm ready, I'm parking right this second.
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: Okay, Dallan, I can already tell you sound like a
- 1:07:30Speaker 10: smarty You're gonna do really good on this. Let's get
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: you a thousand dollars sixty seconds on the clock. You
- 1:07:34Speaker 10: can't pass. You gotta get them all right, we will
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: go fast. This newlywed is the singer of levitating and
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: don't start now.
- 1:07:45Speaker 21: Uh, oh my gosh, what the heck is her name?
- 1:07:51Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:07:51Speaker 19: Maybe it's a boy.
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:07:55Speaker 19: She just got married to styles.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Oh no, oh man.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: I first that it was a girl looking for dual?
- 1:08:05Speaker 21: No, it's is it the girl off a pitch perfect.
- 1:08:07Speaker 12: That blew up?
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: No?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: It is duala?
- 1:08:12Speaker 18: Isn't that?
- 1:08:12Speaker 19: The girl up a pitch perfect three?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Was due a Leapan pitch perfect three?
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:08:19Speaker 21: For like a split second, or maybe the one with
- 1:08:22Speaker 21: the European people.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: And the Yang.
- 1:08:30Speaker 21: You guys, you know what, rich This is your fault
- 1:08:32Speaker 21: because you said that I sounded smart.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: If I said you said stupid, you probably would have
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: crushed it. But you do sound smart.
- 1:08:40Speaker 19: I needed to knock on wood.
- 1:08:42Speaker 10: I think the smart people know all the tough ones,
- 1:08:44Speaker 10: but the pop culture ones flip them out.
- 1:08:48Speaker 21: Well, thanks for that down.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: You were a lot of fun though. You were a
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: lot of fun. And thank you for doing what you do.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: It's very important works. Thanks for listening.
- 1:08:56Speaker 10: Thanks guys, I want to say you wow.
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: Tap it and say what's up?
- 1:09:02Speaker 22: Sure, opened the bree Ie Heart radio app and tap
- 1:09:05Speaker 22: the talkback Mike to send John, Jay and Rich a message.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Now, So Peyton Guy's gonna break down whatever's trending right now?
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 1:09:11Speaker 9: So crazy news that low key kind of broke the
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: internet because after nearly three years together, Ariana Grande and
- 1:09:19Speaker 9: Ethan Slater.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: Have officially split.
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: The breakup actually happened quietly a few months ago, but
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: apparently it was completely amicable. They apparently just realized they
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: were better off as friends. But it's crazy because I
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: feel like she already was leading this, like leading this
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: news to us because she dropped her song hate that
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: I Made You Love Me just a few weeks ago.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: This good dumb good goods. Wasn't he married just had
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: a baby?
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Wow, she tore apart that whole family.
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: Well he's the one that left for her.
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: But she obviously knew what it was, and if you
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: listen to the lyrics of the song, she's literally.
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: Like, hate that had made you love me?
- 1:10:04Speaker 9: Sorry that I made you like my type?
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: So what happened they? After three years it just wore off.
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: She's like, oh, we're not doing wicked anymore.
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: Yeah, but she's like, somebody looks like.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Like they had the sexual chemistry or whatever it was.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: They did it. Then they left each other's face like
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: was she was somebody too?
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:10:30Speaker 8: Yeah, she left.
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: She was engaged her husband Dalton, so they basically blew
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: up both of their stuff to be together.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: I don't know if it was three years. It wears
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: off and then she's like she woke up one more like.
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: Hey, I just then of her next song is I
- 1:10:45Speaker 10: just saw what you looked like we have to break down.
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: If you guys remember all the way back to February,
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: Nicki Minaj, she was on one of her rants on
- 1:10:54Speaker 9: X after the Grammy Awards completely blasting Lizzo's weight loss,
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: mocking her for Luseki bringing up her spal lawsuits. So
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: the beef started because Lizzo actually criticized Nicki Minaj for
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: attending a political event and Lizzo has officially broken her
- 1:11:08Speaker 9: silence on this. Basically, she said she doesn't know why
- 1:11:11Speaker 9: she was hating on her or talking about her that way.
- 1:11:13Speaker 9: She made it clear she's choosing to ignore the personal
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: digs and just focusing on her music and her health journey.
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: She was also in that same interview she was focusing
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: on the music because they asked her like, Okay, of
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: all the greats, who would you pick Michael Jackson or Prince?
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: And She's like, no, we can't even argue about this
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: because those two are just down a whole nother level
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: of their own.
- 1:11:33Speaker 18: How lucky are we to be able to witness the
- 1:11:38Speaker 18: kind of artistry that Michael Jackson and Prince.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Gaze in real time?
- 1:11:42Speaker 18: This is mozart level that in one hundred and fifty
- 1:11:45Speaker 18: years people are still going to be talking about these artists.
- 1:11:48Speaker 18: And I honestly feel like, there's just no, it's not
- 1:11:51Speaker 18: even possible to.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Be like that.
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: Nomore she went into how it's like now there's too
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: many distractions, people are on the phone, people have like whatever,
- 1:11:58Speaker 7: So it's like are different, So we're not going to
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: have an artist.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Like I think she's right, except for Taylor Swift exists.
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: Yeah, Taylor Swift does exist, but she also existed before
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: that too, a little bit maybe not, I don't know,
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: but yeah, that's a good argument, Taylor Swift. Only alex
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: Earl could get punched in the face somehow turn.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: It into a funny story and make the best of it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: So she was out on a night out with the
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: girls in Monaco doing alex Earl things and this guy
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: was trying to get securities attention and her face was
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: in the way.
- 1:12:29Speaker 20: So we were leaving and the one was going to
- 1:12:33Speaker 20: get I guess like the securities attention or something.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: He was like, can you help these girls go wrong?
- 1:12:43Speaker 12: The last thing I have is like an image of
- 1:12:45Speaker 12: like a fist.
- 1:12:46Speaker 16: That was my first time getting punched in the face,
- 1:12:48Speaker 16: and it was like it for some reason, like brought
- 1:12:50Speaker 16: the vibes up immensely.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: She's like, how did it make it a better night?
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: Like more fun?
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: That's so funny. I truly love alex Earl.
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: I think she's so real, Like she hops on the
- 1:12:59Speaker 9: Internet and she does not shy away from her being
- 1:13:01Speaker 9: a hot mess or her having all these things.
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: I think she's really fun to I do think that's
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: like what people absolutely love about her being vulnerable and
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: Pete Davidson's ex Elsie Hewits being vulnerable. She's given her
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: followers a real look at life as a single mom.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: She shared a TikTok where she was like talking about
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: her sleepless nights and how she was trying to squeeze
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: in a pilates class.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I don't see that up here, Elsie.
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: Elsie, We'll move on.
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: Savannah got three you guys that she got really emotional
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: on the show. Her mom's been missing for four months
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: and she had to go back to work, and she's like,
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: the show must go on. I have to be here,
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: but I'm not gonna lie. There are times that that
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: are difficult.
- 1:13:47Speaker 22: And I've been trying so hard to hold it together,
- 1:13:50Speaker 22: and I promise I will. The show in this hour
- 1:13:52Speaker 22: especially's like about joy.
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: But I'm happy to be.
- 1:13:56Speaker 22: Back, and it's like the two hours of my day
- 1:14:00Speaker 22: that it's not that I'm not thinking about it because
- 1:14:03Speaker 22: I am. Yeah, but it's something to do. It brings
- 1:14:06Speaker 22: me a lot of joy to be with everybody. But no,
- 1:14:09Speaker 22: it's not easy.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: You can see it when you watch that show. No
- 1:14:13Speaker 10: matter what she's doing, you can see the heaviness of
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: that moment. Yeah, in her, in her everything she does
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: kind of sad.
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: I just feel so bad for her too, because you
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: know how people are. There's like people on the internet,
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: the trolls that are like, how dare you smiling on
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: TV and your mom's missing? It's like, you know, so
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: she I think she almost had to do that because
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: she's had haters tearing her down for being back at
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: work and it's like you're saying she has to pay
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: her bills, like she has to go back to work,
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: and like it's the police that are supposed to be
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: investigating every time it's disappearance.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: Her on TV or a clip and like she's interviewing somebody,
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: you know, and it's an interview is going well. I
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: wonder before they start rolling, if the guest sits down
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: and goes, I'm so sorry about your mom and then
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: they start the interview, Yeah, like I would, and that
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: must if that, if that does happen, And if you're
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: the guest, how do you not do that?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: But then if you're her, that hits you before you
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: have to be on.
- 1:15:04Speaker 20: Show.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, right, it's gonna be just like that.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it so difficult.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: By the way. I want to tell you, guys after
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: we play this game.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: I'm following a current celebrity fight that I think is
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: going to blow up. I'll tell you after the game.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: It's really good. It's really good. Curtis, what's the dog?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: What's up?

- 1:19:24Speaker 17: points today, half as many as John J. Can't win,
- 1:19:28Speaker 17: but that was a good effort.

- 1:20:41Speaker 17: this is your shot. At another point you could go
- 1:20:43Speaker 17: see Louis Tomlinson right now, but you have to get
- 1:20:46Speaker 17: this right. Let's go.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Stretch out, but you're going to the pit add chance

- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Thanks for playing, Curtis cheer.
- 1:21:08Speaker 11: Thank you guys.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: All right, so I'm gonna tell about celebrity fight. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: it involves John Summitt. Do you guys know anyth about
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: the John Summon fight.
- 1:21:16Speaker 9: No, but I know John Summitt is a DJ.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he's huge.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: He's huge, and he was performing in like Kyle said,
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Monaco recently, huh, and he's rocking the state. The video
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: footage is unbelievable. And then Travis Scott shows up. Travis
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: Scott was late, he was supposed to perform earlier, and
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: he just gets up on stage and takes over while
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: John Summitt's performing.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Big fights started like he was late.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: And then John Summitt made a post on Instagram saying
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: I'm sorry to everyone that came out. Another artist crashed
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: my performance and they kicked me out. And on the
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: post he's playing Travis Scott's music. He doesn't say, but
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: all the listeners and all the people that were there
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: are pissed and they're posting all this.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Travis Scott stuff. So I would not want to be
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a fight with Travis Scott.
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: I was going to say, poor John Summon may have
- 1:22:06Speaker 9: poked a bear, right, So.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: I'm saying watch this story because I think it's going
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: to be a big one. I think those two going
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: at it is going to be something very interesting.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: Blame of him though, to cross the set.
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: That's super much.
- 1:22:17Speaker 18: I know.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: He just gets up on stage and takes a mic
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: and starts doing his thing and people getting all like whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: We're in middle. When you watch the footage, everybody there
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: is very excited about John summon my bat.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Also, we got a text. I been listening since two
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: thousand and one when I was eleven. I moved to Northeast,
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: Ohio in two thousand and six, and I'm currently on
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: my way through Phoenix with my family, headed to the
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Grand Canyon, listening live for the first time in twenty years.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Shout out to the Petrie family. Oh right on, So
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: thanks for listening. Kyle's come up with three things you
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: need to know.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: Instagram just made a big change and a lot of
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: people are super pumped about it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: So I'll tell you what it is next with John,
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: Jay and Rich.
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: Wake up with that Get up Rich.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: Earlier this morning, we're talking about hot thing Love, you
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: left something in a hot car. This text says something
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: I left in a hot car my duty belt as
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: a police officer. During training, the mace expanded and exploded.
- 1:23:10Speaker 10: Oh disact man, you probably open up that door and
- 1:23:13Speaker 10: get a face full of mace.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: That's no good.
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: Yeah, during your training too, you definitely don't. That's not
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: a good look.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Got the three things we need to know.
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: So, just when it looked like the Knicks were about
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: to run away with this thing, Wemby had other plans.
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: He dropped thirty two points and helped the Spurs.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: Pull out a one fifteen to one eleven win in
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: the NBA Finals, cutting New York's lead from two to one.
- 1:23:36Speaker 9: Did you guys see that there was a huge brawl
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: outside of the arena. Yes, twenty one people got detained. Woh,
- 1:23:42Speaker 9: twenty one people for this huge fight. I mean people,
- 1:23:45Speaker 9: you know, the drinks are flowing and people are super
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: passionate about.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Their sports tea.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Just stay out.
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: But I'm like to the point where you're like getting arrested.
- 1:23:52Speaker 8: You know, it's never that suit.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: I think if the next win, this whole thing that
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: New York's gonna get like destroyed. You think so the
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: way yeah, they celebrate, they tear everything down. They're going crazy.
- 1:24:04Speaker 10: When I was in NYC for my kids graduation. She
- 1:24:07Speaker 10: lives right across the street from Madison Square Garden, and
- 1:24:10Speaker 10: that was the win. That was just a win in
- 1:24:13Speaker 10: the last series, not a giant win, just a win,
- 1:24:16Speaker 10: and that town was going nuts to like eight a m.
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: Oh, I'm sure she should try to go to a
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: game if she can, because that's like could be once
- 1:24:23Speaker 9: in a lifetime. Not many times you get to go
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: to a finals game.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Oh, a finals game would be huge. She's home now, ye.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: Do you guys know why it's called Madison Square Garden?
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I know my son can't ask me this yesterday why
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: I don't know. I made it up? Oh, I said,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I think Madison Avenue is a shopping place, and then
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: I said it's named after the president, James Madison.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: But I don't even know if James Madison was the president. Cool?
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Can you have a rectangle garden? I've got to be
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: square guard. I feel like Madison Avenue is a shopping thing.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I just I've only been to New
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: York once.
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: That's pretty genius on the fly.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I'm sure I could google it.
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: The next game will be tomorrow night in New York,
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: so hopefully they can keep it together whether they win
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: or lose, and no one gets arrested. So Instagram is
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: finally letting you rearrange your profile grid without deleting or
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: reposting everything. So I best you go into your profile
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: and you can actually drag and drop posts into whatever
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: order you want, which is huge news for anyone who
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: has ever been obsessed over the aesthetic of their fee.
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: This is very big for like a lot of influencers.
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: I'm I don't know, I have like I think that's great,
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: but then also I'm like I kind of like to
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: see the order, Like when I go back to my grid,
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: I'm like, oh, that's my timeline.
- 1:25:29Speaker 10: Almost, what a great job for somebody. I will I
- 1:25:31Speaker 10: will organize your grid for you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: Yeah, I know that's probably that could be a new
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: business ideat right there.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I tried to do it yesterday.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: I just kind of looked at that thought this could
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: be fun, and then I as soon as I started,
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: I was like, I don't want to do this. I
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: don't I don't know why you'd want to do it.
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: Aesthetically, if you have a business like a home, like
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: home decorating or fashion or something like that, the aesthetic
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: of your grid is actually really important.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: But like us, we're just like our life. I don't
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: think it is important.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Because I was going I was like, yeah, what am
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I doing? Why do I want to do it?
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: But I get it, you know, yeah, because you also
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: want to I want to see the most recent stuff.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: But I'm glad they have the option there in case
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: you want to.
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: Option is great.
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: It turns out those random office chats you thought were
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: really annoying may have actually been really good for you.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: So they did this study and found remote workers, people
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: who are working from home, spend way more time alone
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: and are way more likely to report mental health struggles
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: than people who actually work in person.
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: Working from home maybe making you just really lonely.
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: So they say, if you do feel that way, if
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: you are feeling like that, make sure you just make
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: it intentional to add connection to your day with other
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: human beings. Sometimes that can be difficult. But that's not
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: scrolling and messaging people online. That's face to face interactions.
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: And that's three things you need to know.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: I was right. Madison Square Garden was named after the
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: fourth President of the United States, James Madison.
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: Really yeah, just pulling that out of mind.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Literally, we've already run out of time again. Oh well, kids,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: that's all the time we have for today.
- 1:27:02Speaker 12: We had lots of lot a lot a lots lots
- 1:27:05Speaker 12: of fun.
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: But now the time has come, see you to go.
- 1:27:10Speaker 9: And we'll see what happens tomorrow.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: After all, tomorrow is another day.
- 1:27:15Speaker 9: To tomorrow, I'd be in heaven, still doing this show.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: See you some other time.
