- 0:09Speaker 1: Troy.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show, the world's most trusted conspiracy
- 0:16Speaker 2: theory podcast, with your hosts, Adam Todd Brown and Olivia Hidar.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy the Show. I'm Adam Todd Brown,
- 0:38Speaker 3: who are you?
- 0:39Speaker 1: And I'm Olivia Hidar.
- 0:40Speaker 3: That makes us your hosts, and we are recording in person.
- 0:45Speaker 1: We are that's true in the new studio setup, which
- 0:49Speaker 1: no one at home would really know about.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I had one hole setup in here. Yes, sense
- 0:55Speaker 3: totally different. Yeah. I had four tables in here with
- 1:00Speaker 3: and now those are all out in the other room gone,
- 1:03Speaker 3: and it's just fucking couches.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Oh here, love it. I gotta say. So far, we're
- 1:08Speaker 1: just starting it out, but big fan.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels like an upgrade. It's definitely more comfortable. Yeah,
- 1:15Speaker 3: we are talking about some shit.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, some kind of shit.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Because here's the thing. An event just passed here in
- 1:25Speaker 3: Los Angeles, Pasadena, to be specific.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Maybe you noticed an unusual amount of unknown objects in
- 1:31Speaker 1: the skies over Pasadena.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, let me just say what. We went to
- 1:37Speaker 3: Alien Con, you know. And it's funny that you say,
- 1:40Speaker 3: if you noticed all the ships over the skies of
- 1:43Speaker 3: Los Angeles because people at home. I shit you not.
- 1:45Speaker 3: When we walked in, Oh yeah, there was a guy
- 1:48Speaker 3: just standing outside looking up at the sky and he
- 1:51Speaker 3: was like, I'm just looking to see if any UFOs.
- 1:53Speaker 1: He literally told the person that he was with you
- 1:56Speaker 1: go on inside. I'm gonna just say I hear it, chick, Yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 1: and then proceeded to look up and stay there.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah. It's like, is this guy cheating on his girlfriend
- 2:07Speaker 3: and he's just gonna go win someone at Starbucks?
- 2:09Speaker 1: When's happening?
- 2:10Speaker 3: No, No, clearly.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Not, because we saw him stay there.
- 2:16Speaker 3: He just hung out. Yeah. We tried to get press passes,
- 2:19Speaker 3: yeah for alien con.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Too hot for alien Con.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah. They shot us down.
- 2:24Speaker 1: They heard our episode about Chariots of the Gods and
- 2:27Speaker 1: were like, excuse us. Eric Vandale is a featured guest.
- 2:31Speaker 1: We don't want you coming here on our dime.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know if that's why we were rejected,
- 2:38Speaker 3: because we are pretty vocal about ancient aliens being some
- 2:43Speaker 3: white supremacy shit. Yes, it could be that, or they
- 2:46Speaker 3: could have just fallen on the well you're not big enough, yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 3: which sure that I would call bullshit on. We are
- 2:53Speaker 3: actually in the top I don't remember if it's one
- 2:56Speaker 3: percent or three percent among most followed and shared podcasts
- 3:01Speaker 3: on Spotify. Hell yeah, so we do, all right, So
- 3:05Speaker 3: I don't. I don't think. No, it's that we weren't
- 3:10Speaker 3: big enough. And here's the thing. All they had to
- 3:12Speaker 3: do was be like, hey man, sorry, you're hitting us
- 3:16Speaker 3: up late. Because I even I even gave him that out.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I was like, it's like two days before. I understand.
- 3:21Speaker 3: If I'm getting at you too late in the game,
- 3:23Speaker 3: I'll hit you up next year. They had me fill
- 3:26Speaker 3: out this form and I emailed to follow up because
- 3:29Speaker 3: I hadn't heard back in two days, and the person
- 3:32Speaker 3: just referred me to an faq and the FAQ says,
- 3:37Speaker 3: if you haven't heard back about your request for press passes,
- 3:40Speaker 3: you were declined. Oh and it's like cool, okay, you
- 3:43Speaker 3: couldn't have just said that.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have been easy.
- 3:47Speaker 3: And I wrote back and said, okay, I'm definitely coming.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Because here's the thing. Tickets were sixty five dollars a
- 3:53Speaker 3: shot Illuminati shit right, No, it's any shit.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I didn't know that it was A and E until
- 4:00Speaker 1: all of the press past thing happens.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah, same, because I guess I didn't realize a and
- 4:08Speaker 3: he owns the History Channel because the Ancient Aliens is
- 4:11Speaker 3: on the History Channel, right of course.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Of course, because it's history history, right, surely.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It's what we'll be taught in our school books as
- 4:20Speaker 3: country someday.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Probably, God, I.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Would not know.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I can't be You're not gonna put anything other than
- 4:26Speaker 1: the fucking Christian true Bible in there, Like, come on,
- 4:31Speaker 1: that's true.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's a good point. So yeah, we decided to go anyway,
- 4:35Speaker 3: Yes we did. We bought tickets, We hopped in the car,
- 4:38Speaker 3: my wife came along. Yeah, and we descended upon Pasadena, California.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We did Alien Con twenty twenty three two K twenty
- 4:48Speaker 3: three for short, and at first I was worried we
- 4:52Speaker 3: weren't gonna have that much to talk about.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, well we get there and it basically just seems
- 4:58Speaker 1: like sci fi convention and almost right, but with a
- 5:02Speaker 1: few more outsider vendors.
- 5:05Speaker 3: We should mention when we got there, initially, something else happened,
- 5:10Speaker 3: which is you turned to me.
- 5:11Speaker 1: God damn it, I really didn't want to talk about
- 5:14Speaker 1: this fucking story.
- 5:16Speaker 3: And to pairaphrase, you were like, I got a fucking knife.
- 5:21Speaker 3: They're not gonna let me in with this knife.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well, I I okay. So we get there and Olivia
- 5:26Speaker 1: didn't say it like that. I did it. I almost
- 5:30Speaker 1: almost did. We get there, and there's, of course, because
- 5:33Speaker 1: it's a huge event with a bunch of wacks going
- 5:38Speaker 1: to it, there's a security checkpoint with a bag check
- 5:42Speaker 1: and a metal detector. And part of my as the
- 5:46Speaker 1: kids would call it, everyday carry. Sure, part of my
- 5:50Speaker 1: everyday carry is tupocket, knives and a bunch of weed.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And I was like, I feel like they're not gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: like this stuff now.
- 6:01Speaker 3: No, I don't think we would have gotten through.
- 6:02Speaker 1: No, I don't. I don't think I would have. And
- 6:05Speaker 1: we're having this conversation within earshot of a security guy
- 6:08Speaker 1: who is watching us, where I'm like, look, I can't
- 6:11Speaker 1: go through the fucking meld.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I've got too many knives, pockets.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Look, I have a utility pocket knife that I use
- 6:21Speaker 1: for everyday uses in weed things, and I have a
- 6:26Speaker 1: personal defense pocket knife that is scary looking and makes
- 6:31Speaker 1: people go I'm not gonna talk to you anymore. And
- 6:36Speaker 1: so you know I need these things. And I don't
- 6:39Speaker 1: think about the country band, and.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So in those fashion wouldn't let us bring They said
- 6:47Speaker 3: no knives, and we said the second Amendment.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Uh no, we said, I guess we'll walk back to
- 6:53Speaker 1: where Angie parked the car and then walk back.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Fortunately it wasn't too funny.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It wasn't, but I will say it was my ass
- 7:01Speaker 1: is out of shape, and that was a tough way
- 7:04Speaker 1: to begin a day that was mostly going to involve
- 7:07Speaker 1: walking around.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, there was a lot of water.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So yeah, it was unfortunate.
- 7:13Speaker 3: But and even though they shot me down for press passes,
- 7:16Speaker 3: I'm not here to completely trash Alien con. My favorite
- 7:20Speaker 3: part of any convention like that is always that area
- 7:24Speaker 3: where the merchants set up their booths.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I mean that was the highlight. I mean, well, yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 1: that was the highlight. Like from a personal enjoyment standpoint
- 7:34Speaker 1: of the day was going around and talking to the vendors,
- 7:37Speaker 1: because I really enjoyed going around and talking to all
- 7:41Speaker 1: of these vendors.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and we, as people at home would expect, we
- 7:46Speaker 3: talked to some characters. Yes, there was a guy who
- 7:51Speaker 3: made CBD oil, but oh he was my Yeah. Somehow
- 7:54Speaker 3: it involved the sun.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Well it was no more specifically, it involved a giant
- 7:58Speaker 1: hollow pyramid.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yes, I guess is that they put that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They then put the CBD you know, mixture into with
- 8:08Speaker 1: the weed and chit, and then they put it in
- 8:11Speaker 1: the pyramid and he's like, the energy comes through the pyramid.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, sure, whatever, the energy goes through the pyramid.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And he's like, other tinctures, you know, they'll be yellow,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but this it turns to the nice golden color. Here.
- 8:23Speaker 3: He whipped them out and it looked like every weed ticture.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But you know, I'm sure it was good. And I
- 8:29Speaker 1: was curious about one of his other items that he
- 8:33Speaker 1: was selling, and I didn't get the chance to ask
- 8:36Speaker 1: because we had to keep moving, but he was selling
- 8:39Speaker 1: it was a little ziplock sandwich bag full of what
- 8:44Speaker 1: looked like sunflower seeds and they had a big pink
- 8:48Speaker 1: sticker on the front that said sex seeds. Yeah, And
- 8:52Speaker 1: I really wanted to know what the sex seeds were.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, But I also didn't want to hear that
- 8:58Speaker 3: guy tell me no. He seemed he was nice.
- 9:01Speaker 1: We like, here's the thing about and I want to
- 9:03Speaker 1: be clear, basically, everybody that at least I talked to,
- 9:07Speaker 1: I don't know if you maybe talk to some some jerks,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but like basically everybody that I talked to was very nice.
- 9:14Speaker 3: There was one person who was also He was very nice.
- 9:17Speaker 3: He complimented my Mariah Carey sweatshirt.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that guy.
- 9:22Speaker 3: But that guy he was selling like a bunch of stuff.
- 9:26Speaker 3: But one of the things he was selling was Orgon blasters, Yes,
- 9:31Speaker 3: which is the thing I've talked about on the podcast
- 9:33Speaker 3: a bunch. And I actually bought one at one point,
- 9:35Speaker 3: and I keep forgetting.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It looked like a little plastic skull.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Yeah, the ones he had, he had some that were
- 9:41Speaker 3: shaped like pyramids also, and I went there kind of
- 9:45Speaker 3: thinking I would maybe buy a new one to bring
- 9:47Speaker 3: one to the studio because the one I have at
- 9:50Speaker 3: home is, you know, actively keeping ghosts, demons beds away
- 9:55Speaker 3: as Orgon blasters do. Absolutely, And he had one that
- 9:59Speaker 3: was either shaped you and I argued about this. It
- 10:03Speaker 3: was either shaped like the Millennium falcon or the Nation
- 10:07Speaker 3: of Islam mother ship.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Well, I don't know what that looks like. I've never
- 10:11Speaker 1: seen a picture of the Nation of Islam mothership.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You ever seen Independence Day?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:16Speaker 3: That ship is for.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Well, that ship is just the big ship is just
- 10:20Speaker 1: a circle, you mean, like the little guys yeah, I
- 10:23Speaker 1: don't know. I don't okay, but it was Millennium Falcon, Like,
- 10:28Speaker 1: what's the thing.
- 10:29Speaker 3: What's important is I picked it up and was like, oh,
- 10:32Speaker 3: that's cool. That does kind of look like the Millennium Falcon.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Maybe I'll buy it for Jeff as a gag gift
- 10:36Speaker 3: or something. And I was like how much and they
- 10:38Speaker 3: said seventy seven dollars and I said that's a little
- 10:42Speaker 3: more than I want to spend, and that man, fresh
- 10:45Speaker 3: off of complimenting my Mariah Carey sweatshirt, went, it's not
- 10:49Speaker 3: just a cute thing to look at, like, yeah, I know, goodbye.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He was very touchy. I got the feeling that maybe
- 10:56Speaker 1: it wasn't the first time that someone had questioned whether
- 11:00Speaker 1: it was worth set. And you know what, I didn't
- 11:02Speaker 1: send you any judgment coming off of you when you
- 11:06Speaker 1: said that, and like these are handcrafted items, like you
- 11:10Speaker 1: can charge seventy that's fine. It was funny to get
- 11:14Speaker 1: very touchy about it, I guess, but yeah, it was
- 11:19Speaker 1: the Millennium Falcon. Though it had the little cockpit off
- 11:22Speaker 1: the side of the little round cockpit.
- 11:24Speaker 3: I don't want to get the guy in copyright trouble.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I don't want well, George Lewis.
- 11:28Speaker 1: We're not saying his name, and I'm sure, I'm almost
- 11:31Speaker 1: positive he wasn't the only person selling Oregon blasters there.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Oh no, absolutely not, because there were multiple shops centered
- 11:39Speaker 1: around just around ancient golden starships, yes, or ancient golden jets.
- 11:46Speaker 3: I think it's called the Jaikara bird. Sure, I think
- 11:51Speaker 3: is one of the things they call that. Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And I didn't stop at any of those places because
- 11:55Speaker 1: I don't really care about any of that stuff. The
- 11:57Speaker 1: people that was the most excited talk to were the
- 11:59Speaker 1: peace people, like the CBD guy, the people who who
- 12:03Speaker 1: just had obviously just bought a booth in this convention
- 12:07Speaker 1: to be like I've got this stuff, you know.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yeah, And it wasn't even all like UFO types. Like
- 12:13Speaker 3: there was an artist there. I hate that I can't
- 12:16Speaker 3: remember his name, but he's at conventions all the time,
- 12:20Speaker 3: and like I have these Star Wars candles.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh, the pop art guy.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Like he had that really cool painting that looked
- 12:27Speaker 3: like a TOUTSI pop rapper.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That stuff was fine. It had very much the vibe
- 12:32Speaker 1: of like a farmer's market version of Spencer's Gifts.
- 12:36Speaker 3: A little bit like there was.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Just kind of a little bit of everything all over
- 12:41Speaker 1: the place.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Oh, the weirdest thing, speaking of copyright infringement. So we're
- 12:47Speaker 1: walking around and all of a sudden, the giant robot
- 12:50Speaker 1: version of Wally comes rolling by, and I was very
- 12:55Speaker 1: surprised to see that.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I have video of some of that. There was
- 13:00Speaker 3: R two D two also, and.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Then there was also R two D two and there's
- 13:03Speaker 1: like the five oh First, which is a very famous
- 13:06Speaker 1: Star Wars cosplaying group, a bunch of nerds. They were there,
- 13:10Speaker 1: and I'm like, I feel like the theming is totally
- 13:13Speaker 1: lost here. I was not expecting to see like Disney
- 13:16Speaker 1: like branded shit. It was very jarring to have like
- 13:20Speaker 1: these very specific characters.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they did seem out of place.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, because like almost everybody else is there because they
- 13:30Speaker 1: honestly believe in some sort of alien or occult or
- 13:35Speaker 1: alternate medicine type thing, right, So it's weird to have
- 13:40Speaker 1: like cosplayers and like robot builders playing around with R
- 13:44Speaker 1: two D two and shit.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm normally a sucker for those kind of situations,
- 13:50Speaker 3: those like marketplace things at a con, in that I'm
- 13:53Speaker 3: always gonna buy something. Yeah, and this time around. I didn't.
- 13:56Speaker 3: There were a couple T shirts. There was a really
- 13:58Speaker 3: funny T shirt that had a picture of a UFO
- 14:01Speaker 3: on it and it said weather balloon y underneath it.
- 14:03Speaker 1: It was a good one.
- 14:04Speaker 3: But also I can probably get that at six dollars
- 14:06Speaker 3: shirts or something. Yeah, I mean, why support small businesses?
- 14:10Speaker 3: But also I don't know how those motherfuckers voted, you know.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the thing, man. There was that one
- 14:17Speaker 1: booth for the Skimwalker ranch where they had children. That's
- 14:23Speaker 1: another thing.
- 14:24Speaker 3: I almost bought that Bangwalker ranch hoodie was.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Now really bummed me out, Like really.
- 14:30Speaker 3: But I kind of disagree. I mean if you mean
- 14:34Speaker 3: from a child labor standpoint, no, I just means like
- 14:37Speaker 3: where I do disagree because that happens, like.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I don't know if that's an environment for la part. Yes,
- 14:43Speaker 1: a child, I'm not talking about teenagers or whatever, like
- 14:47Speaker 1: I'm talking about little kids.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more the thing where those kids are convinced
- 14:51Speaker 3: that there's a ranch in Utah that has like wormholes
- 14:54Speaker 3: to other dimensions.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that stuff bums me out. It bums me out,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but whatever, man, And you know, and like I was
- 15:01Speaker 1: kind of in a very go with the flow kind
- 15:04Speaker 1: of attitude at it, just trying to asking questions, being open,
- 15:09Speaker 1: like we're laughing now, but we weren't there making fun
- 15:12Speaker 1: of anybody or like laughing at anything. Like we were
- 15:16Speaker 1: taking everybody very seriously if we talk to them.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean my beef with alien con is ancient
- 15:24Speaker 3: alien theory exactly. Like that's that's what I will take
- 15:28Speaker 3: issue with, not so much like these are just people
- 15:31Speaker 3: trying to make a fucking living, right right, that I'm
- 15:33Speaker 3: not there to make fun.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And this is what we were saying about, Like, you know,
- 15:36Speaker 1: we're walking through this and we go to a bunch
- 15:39Speaker 1: of booths, we talk to a bunch of people, we
- 15:41Speaker 1: eat some lunch, and we're like, is there an episode here?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Right?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Because neither of us you know, it's fun to have
- 15:49Speaker 1: a little bit of laugh about the goofballs, but like
- 15:53Speaker 1: is that an episode?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah? And I think I even said that those aren't
- 15:57Speaker 3: the people I want to like make fun of, right exactly.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Comedy Conspiracy podcast, Yeah, yeah, that's just that's regular ass people, man.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Like I said, I had legitimately good interactions with basically
- 16:11Speaker 1: everybody that I talked to. Yeah, there, they were all
- 16:13Speaker 1: very genuine and forthright.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Before we move on to the other part of our
- 16:19Speaker 3: convention experience. I would just like to shout out anyone
- 16:23Speaker 3: who's planning to go to Alien Con next year. Sure,
- 16:26Speaker 3: if you're attending at the Pasadena Convention Center, order the
- 16:30Speaker 3: Chef's Special. Yeah, there's only one place to eat. Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 3: it's got like six things.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 3: The Chef's Special is a bottle of water and tater
- 16:40Speaker 3: tots with cheese and sour cream and jalapenos on them. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 3: and it is a delight. That was the highlight of
- 16:47Speaker 3: Alien Con for me.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say, don't order the chicken fingers. That
- 16:53Speaker 1: was a bad move.
- 16:54Speaker 3: They didn't even have barbecue sauce.
- 16:55Speaker 1: They didn't even have.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Did the fucking aliens take it? What do you mean? Yeah?
- 16:59Speaker 3: I have barbecue, they aliens. How are you selling chick
- 17:03Speaker 3: contators without one of the most important components. They didn't
- 17:07Speaker 3: even have ranch.
- 17:08Speaker 1: No, and I don't even like ranch. Yeah, so that
- 17:10Speaker 1: wouldn't have helped. But like, they were gross and tough. Also,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so those tater tots, let me tell you, Yeah, the
- 17:17Speaker 1: tater tots are good.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They were good times.
- 17:19Speaker 1: They look good.
- 17:20Speaker 3: So, yeah, we we had kind of a crisis on
- 17:23Speaker 3: our hands back to the convention. Yeah, that's actually a
- 17:28Speaker 3: sponsored ad for the Pasadena Convention Center concession stand. We
- 17:33Speaker 3: get fourteen fifty per one thousand listens.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Hey, there you go.
- 17:39Speaker 3: So we did have a little crisis on our hands
- 17:42Speaker 3: because we were like, shit, this isn't yet really an
- 17:45Speaker 3: episode because the other thing I was hoping they would
- 17:47Speaker 3: have one of my favorite things, like at La Comic Con,
- 17:52Speaker 3: which used to be called Kamakazi. I don't know why
- 17:54Speaker 3: they changed that name, or I went to when the
- 17:59Speaker 3: super Bowl was last year. Yeah, NFL always sets up
- 18:03Speaker 3: like a NFL convention kind of thing in this week
- 18:06Speaker 3: of and I went to that last year. And what
- 18:09Speaker 3: I like, as much as the marketplace thing is there's
- 18:12Speaker 3: always like exhibits at comic Con, they'll have you know,
- 18:16Speaker 3: comic book shit like Ironman suits and things and like
- 18:19Speaker 3: shit you can like look at and take pictures.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Absolutely, there wasn't.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Really any of that. No at Alien Con.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Not really. It was basically just a giant square marketplace and.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Show me a fucking moon rock already, come on.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And so we're desperately scrambling at the schedule, being like
- 18:36Speaker 1: we gotta find something to go to other than this marketplace, Like,
- 18:42Speaker 1: we don't want to leave feeling like we've left some
- 18:46Speaker 1: experience on the table.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and if we had left at that point, I
- 18:50Speaker 3: don't think we would have necessarily done an episode.
- 18:53Speaker 1: No, probably not. This would have been it.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah, the episode would be over right.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Because that's all I have to really say about at
- 19:00Speaker 1: the marketplace, because I don't want to be overly mean
- 19:02Speaker 1: to people.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Right, And that would have sucked because the tickets weren't expensive,
- 19:07Speaker 3: but they weren't cheap, Like I we didn't plan it
- 19:10Speaker 3: that well, but that's because they didn't promote it that well.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Well.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Sure, and I didn't know this was happening. And I
- 19:17Speaker 3: am such a conspiracy theory influencer, so I don't know
- 19:21Speaker 3: why I wouldn't know. But I didn't hear about this
- 19:24Speaker 3: until I was watching the local news like a fucking
- 19:27Speaker 3: grandpa one morning and they said it was going to
- 19:31Speaker 3: be in Pasadena, I think the following week. That's when
- 19:34Speaker 3: I like started reaching out and texted me. Yeah, we
- 19:38Speaker 3: ended up buying the tickets I think the day before,
- 19:41Speaker 3: So we didn't plan it out that well.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You know, it was a spur of the moment thing.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Right, And so we get through the whole marketplace and
- 19:50Speaker 3: we start looking at the schedule trying to figure out like,
- 19:53Speaker 3: because there's presentations, right.
- 19:55Speaker 1: That's all that's all you got for variety. All you
- 19:59Speaker 1: have is the marketplace. And then you can wait in
- 20:04Speaker 1: line and go sit in a room and listen to
- 20:07Speaker 1: some people talk to you, right, and that's it.
- 20:10Speaker 3: So first we headed to Jupiter and Venus. I don't
- 20:13Speaker 3: think either of us at this point have any idea
- 20:16Speaker 3: what that meant. Yeah, it was really I.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Mean, you know, it's their cute names for their exhibition halls,
- 20:22Speaker 1: right basically, and like and the lines were really long.
- 20:25Speaker 3: The lines were really long. I wasn't sure what we
- 20:29Speaker 3: were even going to see in there.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Like one of them was for something about very
- 20:35Speaker 1: up our alley, like what does the government know about aliens?
- 20:39Speaker 1: I mean, this sounds like a parody of a alien
- 20:44Speaker 1: you know, it's some panel about what the government knows
- 20:47Speaker 1: about aliens or something. And the other one was about cryptozoology, right,
- 20:52Speaker 1: and we're like, one of these will be fine, or
- 20:55Speaker 1: I guess we could go to the other building. Because
- 20:58Speaker 1: we hadn't been to the other building, we didn't really
- 21:00Speaker 1: know what the map was awful. It just showed what
- 21:04Speaker 1: the names of the buildings.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Were, even the signs, like it would be like Omni
- 21:09Speaker 3: Hall and it's just pointing at the ground. It's no,
- 21:11Speaker 3: it's not right there. What are you talking about? Right?
- 21:14Speaker 1: So, yeah, we kind of gotten both lines.
- 21:16Speaker 3: We stood in all the lines we could stand in,
- 21:20Speaker 3: like we wanted. I wasn't going to be robbed of
- 21:22Speaker 3: that rich experience of course of standing in various lines.
- 21:25Speaker 1: And you know what, the line that we settled on
- 21:28Speaker 1: for as long as it was, and it was very long,
- 21:31Speaker 1: it was the longest one, right, it also went fastest.
- 21:35Speaker 3: That's the thing. We kept deciding that the line we
- 21:38Speaker 3: were in was too long, and then unknowingly jumping into
- 21:42Speaker 3: longer lines.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Just continually escalating until we're just like, yeah, well, I
- 21:47Speaker 1: guess we're just here.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yeah. And now we're here and we're outside in.
- 21:50Speaker 1: This line, and none of us knew what panel we
- 21:54Speaker 1: were even in line for at this point, because we'd
- 21:57Speaker 1: left the building that had the government won and the
- 22:00Speaker 1: cryptozoology one, and we're like, fuck it, let's go see
- 22:03Speaker 1: what's in the other building at least before relieve. And
- 22:06Speaker 1: so we get there and there's a big line and
- 22:08Speaker 1: so we're like, I guess we'll stand in this line.
- 22:10Speaker 3: The line was huge, but it was also a huge auditorium,
- 22:14Speaker 3: so that was promising.
- 22:15Speaker 1: It seems like we're really hammering home how random it
- 22:19Speaker 1: was that we ended up in this specific line.
- 22:22Speaker 3: If not, I'd like to drive home. I really would,
- 22:25Speaker 3: because there's a twist coming.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we had no idea what the panel was for,
- 22:31Speaker 1: who was gonna be on it, you know, and what
- 22:33Speaker 1: it was going to be about. And we're not gonna
- 22:36Speaker 1: ask anyone around us because I don't think any of
- 22:40Speaker 1: us wanted to talk to anyone who was well.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I also didn't want to get called a poser. No,
- 22:45Speaker 3: of course some guy that owns property in Roswell or.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean, I wouldn't talk to anyone who was around us,
- 22:51Speaker 1: but I will say, and this is this is so embarrassing.
- 22:54Speaker 1: There were so many women who were my type there.
- 22:57Speaker 1: As I'm walking through, I'm like, oh, there's a huge
- 22:59Speaker 1: way to Oh yeah, there's a really depressed weirdo. Cool, Hey,
- 23:04Speaker 1: how's it going?
- 23:06Speaker 3: Shoot?
- 23:07Speaker 1: And like it would have been a disaster.
- 23:10Speaker 3: So we're standing in this line, Yes, we're outside. Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 3: it's a huge auditorium. People are pouring in the line.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Okay, so when you're standing facing the building, the line
- 23:19Speaker 1: starts going around the corner of the building and disappears
- 23:24Speaker 1: and then reappears coming back around right the corner of
- 23:28Speaker 1: the building to the doors.
- 23:30Speaker 3: So it was long. You don't really I mean, I
- 23:32Speaker 3: guess we could have walked up and checked, but you
- 23:34Speaker 3: don't really know what's around that corner.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you just know that it's really long. You don't
- 23:40Speaker 1: know exactly how a log because it's part of it's
- 23:44Speaker 1: a mystery.
- 23:45Speaker 3: And speaking of mystery, I know we could have just
- 23:49Speaker 3: walked up and seen how long it was, but I
- 23:52Speaker 3: think the thing that kept us from doing that was
- 23:54Speaker 3: probably the alien line corralling technology that they had in place.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Okay, So, so as the line moves, it's you know,
- 24:03Speaker 1: because it's one of those theme park ride lines that
- 24:06Speaker 1: like snakes around. Yeah, it starts to move in and
- 24:10Speaker 1: it takes several minutes before anyone that we can see
- 24:14Speaker 1: on our side start moving. Right, and we get down
- 24:17Speaker 1: there and it goes down a stairwell with a handrail.
- 24:22Speaker 3: There's a railing between, and people.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Are going up one and down the other.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Right, you go down and then around and then back
- 24:30Speaker 3: up this ramp, but because of.
- 24:33Speaker 1: How the shape of the line had formed, apparently during
- 24:39Speaker 1: the waiting period, people were, for no reason whatsoever, still
- 24:45Speaker 1: maintaining the elongated walking line.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Fifteen to twenty feet out of the way, yeah, with
- 24:52Speaker 3: no barrier because the railing ends. And as I'm going down,
- 24:56Speaker 3: I was like, oh, we should just turn right now.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It's just very funny for group of people who probably
- 25:02Speaker 1: including myself, all consider themselves free thinkers and.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Like, it will never be as funny to the people
- 25:09Speaker 3: listening as it was. It's us and that men in
- 25:13Speaker 3: black looking gentleman who only one other guy kind of noticed,
- 25:17Speaker 3: who let me bust the alien technology joke, because it
- 25:20Speaker 3: was like we were all just walking around this invisible
- 25:23Speaker 3: barrier for no reason.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Funny. It was such a funny human psychology moment.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Be funny if I tried to turn right and it
- 25:31Speaker 3: just did that thing where it's like says brought to
- 25:34Speaker 3: you by skin Walker Ranch when it buzzes you said.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Someone look like in my beat. Like literally there were
- 25:42Speaker 1: like four or five guys cosplaying as men in black
- 25:45Speaker 1: costplaying is Federal Asian or whatever.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Fucking fed.
- 25:50Speaker 1: It's so weird. What a confused mythology.
- 25:55Speaker 3: So we make our way into this auditorium, still not
- 25:58Speaker 3: really sure what we're going to see, but.
- 26:00Speaker 1: We noticed it's a big haul, right, It's way bigger
- 26:03Speaker 1: than either of the rooms that we were waiting for.
- 26:05Speaker 3: And we sit kind of in the back for obvious reasons,
- 26:09Speaker 3: of course, we.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Sit as close to the exit as we're abel Basically,
- 26:12Speaker 1: this is.
- 26:12Speaker 3: An Alien Con convention.
- 26:15Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm sitting on the io. Please.
- 26:18Speaker 3: I wanted to be going to be a super liberal crowd.
- 26:20Speaker 3: I wanted to could jump off in there.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to be able to get out as
- 26:24Speaker 1: fast as I possibly can.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And so we're sitting there waiting for this presentation to
- 26:28Speaker 3: start and there's a video screen in all it says
- 26:31Speaker 3: is Alien Con twenty twenty three. We didn't really know
- 26:35Speaker 3: what we were to see.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Again, still no preface of get ready, I mean until
- 26:40Speaker 1: you know the show starts or whatever.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And so they finally come out and this panel that
- 26:46Speaker 3: we randomly stumbled into as a last ditch measure to
- 26:51Speaker 3: find something to talk about on the show.
- 26:53Speaker 1: One thousand percent on accident, to the point that I said,
- 26:56Speaker 1: I honestly would rather not see.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Bloe, right, So the first person who comes out is
- 27:05Speaker 3: the moderator and he's an executive producer on Ancient Aliens,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and I'm like, fuck off, I don't care. That's nothing.
- 27:12Speaker 1: This whole thing is like brought to you by ancients.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And then I also didn't get my hopes up when
- 27:18Speaker 3: the next guy came out. I didn't even write his
- 27:20Speaker 3: fucking name down. He was described as Robert Downey Junior's
- 27:24Speaker 3: spiritual guru, and it's like, I don't think you're doing
- 27:27Speaker 3: that good, Like Robert Downey Junior seems like a little
- 27:31Speaker 3: bit of a mess.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe he's Robert Downey Junior's career advisor.
- 27:36Speaker 3: And so I didn't give a shit about that. No.
- 27:38Speaker 3: But then, but then David Childress, who's people at home
- 27:42Speaker 3: who are familiar with Ancient Aliens know he is a
- 27:45Speaker 3: mainstay on that show. He's written a whole bunch of books.
- 27:48Speaker 3: So I was like, oh shit, that's cool. And then
- 27:52Speaker 3: the Aliens meme guy himself, Giorgio fucking suclos Yes, comes out,
- 27:59Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh man, we are at the panel. Yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 3: and then god damn it, they say there's one more
- 28:07Speaker 3: person coming out. Not for a brief second, I was like,
- 28:10Speaker 3: please bring out an alien, Please bring out an alien,
- 28:13Speaker 3: but even better, they bring out Eric von Danikin's Nazi. Yes,
- 28:18Speaker 3: my god.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I still can't really believe it.
- 28:22Speaker 3: It's like when I saw Springsteen and he brought Neil
- 28:25Speaker 3: Young out to play rocking in the Free World, and
- 28:27Speaker 3: I was like, what what's happening?
- 28:29Speaker 1: But like the inverse of that, the total opposite feeling,
- 28:35Speaker 1: because I mean, obviously I was like, well, we obviously
- 28:38Speaker 1: have an episode now.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I was like, we are for sure gonna have
- 28:42Speaker 3: some stuff to talk about.
- 28:44Speaker 1: But also I'm like, oh no, I'm in the same
- 28:47Speaker 1: room as Ericakin.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. And they were like selling pictures like you
- 28:53Speaker 3: could take pictures of Georgiosukulos. It's like, yeah, I'm not
- 28:57Speaker 3: having that pop up on my social media fifteen years now.
- 29:00Speaker 3: When people finally figure out what Ancient Aliens really is,
- 29:03Speaker 3: it's so fucked up.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Oh man. I kind of freaked out a little bit,
- 29:07Speaker 1: not in a good way. When Eric von Dannigan came.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Out, Yeah, it's like, is this a trap?
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'm like, oh no, But also this is the panel.
- 29:16Speaker 1: These are all of the heavy hitters that they advertised
- 29:19Speaker 1: from the Ancient Aliens. World on one panel, so you
- 29:24Speaker 1: know that it's gonna be interesting.
- 29:27Speaker 3: And it was right off the bat. The first thing
- 29:30Speaker 3: that happened. I don't know if you recall, but I
- 29:33Speaker 3: took detailed notes because you weren't allowed to film, right,
- 29:36Speaker 3: you weren't allowed to record.
- 29:37Speaker 1: And I bless you for your detailed notes because I
- 29:39Speaker 1: can remember the event, but like to say what happened
- 29:43Speaker 1: in what order? I don't think I possibly could. It's
- 29:45Speaker 1: a blur of just a bunch of overlapping, mildly worrying voices.
- 29:53Speaker 3: And the first of those worrying voices was Giorgio Sukulos, who,
- 29:57Speaker 3: as it turns out, has definitely heard your concerns America
- 30:01Speaker 3: about ancient aliens being racist, because at various points he'd
- 30:06Speaker 3: be like, is that racist?
- 30:08Speaker 1: And it's like, yes, two separate people, two separate people
- 30:13Speaker 1: on a four person panel.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Let's wait before we get into the full details of
- 30:18Speaker 3: the other one.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say anything else. I'm just saying two
- 30:20Speaker 1: people made those kinds of jokes to the same response.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Yes, applause fucking seals. So the first person to speak
- 30:31Speaker 3: is Giorgio Suclos, and yeah, I took notes. I wasn't
- 30:35Speaker 3: even sure if I was supposed to do that whatever,
- 30:37Speaker 3: but I had my phone down, and I think they
- 30:39Speaker 3: were just looking for people who had.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Their phone out exactly.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Georgio Suklos. He talked about pan spermia. Yes, right away.
- 30:46Speaker 3: I was like, sperm that's funny.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, like they say that word a lot,
- 30:53Speaker 1: they said it a whole lot. That seems to be
- 30:56Speaker 1: the new hotness as far as like the scientific sounding
- 30:59Speaker 1: where for this absolute bullshit?
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah, because if I grasp correctly, and I'm you know,
- 31:05Speaker 3: just spitballing here, going off the top of my head.
- 31:08Speaker 3: So if there's any pan spermia experts listening, fuck off.
- 31:12Speaker 3: It seems like the general idea of pan spermia is
- 31:15Speaker 3: like something just floats down from the heavens, sure and
- 31:19Speaker 3: lands on Earth, and that clash leads to life.
- 31:23Speaker 1: It's like have you seen Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Yes, which
- 31:28Speaker 1: is a great movie, and it begins with pan spermia.
- 31:32Speaker 1: It begins with an alien coming down to Earth and
- 31:36Speaker 1: drinking a thing and then dying and then becoming life.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Basically, now, that would be direct pan spermia, yes.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Which is they make very clear it's a different thing
- 31:48Speaker 1: than it just being random, I guess.
- 31:50Speaker 3: And that's what Giorgio Suklos wanted to talk about, right,
- 31:54Speaker 3: that's what he believes in direct pan spermia.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Yeah, look, it's a scientific I'm not good. I mean,
- 32:02Speaker 1: it's a fake scientific term. It's not like it describes
- 32:05Speaker 1: a real event.
- 32:06Speaker 3: But yeah, oh man, more like pangizia am I right,
- 32:11Speaker 3: because that's like a slang. Right, So yeah, he talked
- 32:15Speaker 3: about that for a bit, and then Eric von Danikin
- 32:18Speaker 3: basically did fifteen minutes of stand up comedy.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Eric Vondanakin. I'm not gonna say that Eric Vondanakan had
- 32:26Speaker 1: just taken cocaine before coming on stage. End of sentence.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I would never say Eric von Danikin was under
- 32:35Speaker 3: the influence of any stimulants.
- 32:37Speaker 1: No, not at all. But he liked to talk, he
- 32:40Speaker 1: sure did. And he liked to talk a lot, and
- 32:43Speaker 1: he liked to talk when at least once might have
- 32:46Speaker 1: happened more than once, a question is directly addressed to
- 32:50Speaker 1: one of the other panelists and Eric Vondanakin just answered it.
- 32:55Speaker 3: It was great it did happen twice because the first
- 32:59Speaker 3: time it happened, the audience was just like, oh, just
- 33:02Speaker 3: let that old coot right. Yeah. And then because it
- 33:05Speaker 3: happened to the same person like Eric Vankin for a
- 33:08Speaker 3: minute just thought his name was William because fucking iron
- 33:12Speaker 3: Man's advisor at the end of the line was named William.
- 33:17Speaker 3: And the moderator asked William a question and Eric von
- 33:20Speaker 3: Danakin took it. Yeah, and then when Eric von Danakin
- 33:23Speaker 3: got done talking forty five minutes later, I tried to
- 33:29Speaker 3: ask William another question and Eric von Danakin was like, William,
- 33:34Speaker 3: that's me Eric. Then everyone laughs. Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Now Eric von Danakan's answers to these questions do
- 33:40Speaker 1: they make sense?
- 33:41Speaker 3: No?
- 33:42Speaker 1: No, they didn't make any sense.
- 33:44Speaker 3: They were wild. He really did, just kind of seem
- 33:49Speaker 3: like he was rambling. Yeah, a little bit.
- 33:51Speaker 1: He dominated the panel basically.
- 33:54Speaker 3: He sure did. He talked about religious texts a lot.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 3: He is insistent that because the Bible says God needed
- 34:02Speaker 3: a vehicle mm hmm. He's like, well, my God doesn't
- 34:05Speaker 3: need a vehicle. Yeah, we're talking about something else. It's like, damn,
- 34:08Speaker 3: that's you built an entire industry on that leap.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Well, and that story that you're talking about, that's a
- 34:16Speaker 1: story that took place when he was in Catholic school.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so like when he was young, and he's
- 34:23Speaker 1: just that's what his whole life has been based on
- 34:27Speaker 1: that and lies.
- 34:28Speaker 3: He was never young.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's hard to believe. I bet he was probably pretty
- 34:34Speaker 1: old when Chariots of the Gods came out. It's very
- 34:38Speaker 1: funny that Chariots of the Gods exists and has been
- 34:42Speaker 1: thoroughly debunked in every possible way that it could possibly
- 34:47Speaker 1: be debunked, and yet A and E Entertainment hires this
- 34:52Speaker 1: man with no Nazi ties to come be just a
- 34:58Speaker 1: casual panel at their fun goofy alien convention.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Eric von Danakin was a question on Jeopardy not too
- 35:05Speaker 3: long ago. I texted you when it happened. Yeah, oh yeah.
- 35:09Speaker 3: The answer was Chariots of the Gods. But Eric von
- 35:12Speaker 3: Danakin's name was in the question. That documentary got nominated
- 35:16Speaker 3: for an oscar.
- 35:17Speaker 1: It's crazy, it was huge. We talked about it in
- 35:19Speaker 1: the episode and it was all bullshit.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we did a whole episode on Chariots.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Of the Gids. His theories have evolved though.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Oh yes, But we can't talk about Eric von danikin
- 35:32Speaker 3: the whole time as much as he would like it
- 35:34Speaker 3: if we did, because we also have to talk about
- 35:37Speaker 3: David Childress's bitch about Bigfoot.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Oh that was so weird.
- 35:42Speaker 3: He said, some of the weirdest things I've ever heard
- 35:45Speaker 3: about Bigfoot in my life. At one point, he says
- 35:49Speaker 3: Bigfoot is like us, but doesn't have speech ability. It's like, man,
- 35:53Speaker 3: you're describing every animal.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Oh my god, the Bigfoot thing. I didn't understand why
- 36:01Speaker 1: we were all of a sudden talking about Bigfoot. No
- 36:04Speaker 1: clue what it had to do with anything.
- 36:07Speaker 3: He also said bigfoot doesn't eat cooked food.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that who.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Does besides us?
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Like that's a big part of our whole thing.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Like there's dogs out there fucking pan frying the scraps
- 36:19Speaker 3: they find on the street.
- 36:20Speaker 1: He's thinking about, like the dragons on Game of Thrones.
- 36:23Speaker 1: That's why they breathe fire because they need.
- 36:25Speaker 3: To cook their food. Yeah, they like a seared steak.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Honestly, listeners, if anyone has an example of an animal
- 36:36Speaker 1: that needs to cook their meat, please let me know.
- 36:38Speaker 3: And some nerdlinger is going to reply and be.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Like, actually, with what I would like to know. I
- 36:45Speaker 1: really don't think there is one. I mean needs to
- 36:50Speaker 1: cook like we need to cook.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I mean, it would be weirder if it was an
- 36:53Speaker 3: animal that just like science has no idea this happens.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like when like dolphins kind of seemed to
- 37:05Speaker 1: salt women for fun. Yeah, you know, it's like we
- 37:08Speaker 1: have no idea why it's some weird thing.
- 37:12Speaker 3: It's just their thing. It's it's just what they're into.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Let's name a football team after him.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Look, Dolphins are great. I got nothing against dolphins.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Did you catch any of iron Man's neo cortex activated stuff?
- 37:27Speaker 1: That seems to be a big deal. Just the idea
- 37:30Speaker 1: that the neo cortex represents like consciousness, I guess in
- 37:36Speaker 1: this theory, Like no, this is rooted in real science.
- 37:39Speaker 1: But like, you know, the idea is that when our
- 37:41Speaker 1: neo cortex is activated, which I guess means we evolved
- 37:46Speaker 1: it or what. I don't know what that means.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Sounds like evolution. Yeah, but like and I think he's
- 37:51Speaker 3: suggesting that no aliens came down and did that.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Sure, they like flipped the switch tea and yeah, and
- 37:58Speaker 1: gave us a neo cortex, But like, I don't know
- 38:00Speaker 1: that that's true. I'm gonna say I doubt you know,
- 38:05Speaker 1: pres X to doubt. It's a video gaming name.
- 38:09Speaker 3: So Eric von Danakin was just he was throwing spaghetti
- 38:12Speaker 3: at the wall to see if it sticks.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Maybe he went to go see his doctor earlier. I
- 38:16Speaker 1: don't know, doctor feel Good. He still goes to see
- 38:19Speaker 1: doctor feel Good. He's still in business. But just for
- 38:22Speaker 1: Eric von Danikin.
- 38:23Speaker 3: He said there are two kinds of people religious in science,
- 38:26Speaker 3: and it's like, yeah, listen to our lost podcast.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Sure of course, man of science, man of faith.
- 38:31Speaker 3: He said Neanderthals and humans were not the same. That's true, true. Sure.
- 38:35Speaker 3: He also brought up the hobbit people of Indonesia, and
- 38:37Speaker 3: I'm sure that's not an offensive way to put that
- 38:40Speaker 3: at all. Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I couldn't tell if he was referring to like people
- 38:45Speaker 1: who we would call pygmies, but I don't know. It
- 38:49Speaker 1: was very unclear. Obviously, anything having to do with race
- 38:53Speaker 1: was extremely loaded.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because this is the point where after Georgie Sukulos
- 39:01Speaker 3: gives this impassioned plea for ad the believers of the
- 39:07Speaker 3: Bible and evolution and believers of ancient alien theory, his
- 39:11Speaker 3: thing is, well, it's it's all correct, and we just
- 39:13Speaker 3: need to meet in the middle. It's like, I don't
- 39:15Speaker 3: think that's actually where you're going.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Actually can't be all correct. Yeah, that's unfortunately they're very incompatible.
- 39:21Speaker 3: And after that, Eric von Danakin goes off on this
- 39:25Speaker 3: spiel and he says, and I know we're not supposed
- 39:29Speaker 3: to say this word, yeah, but race and man did
- 39:34Speaker 3: a palpable tension fall over the room when Eric von dani.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Or at least our row. Yeah, I know I tensed up.
- 39:44Speaker 3: I think I audibly gas.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I tinsed up when he said and I know we're
- 39:48Speaker 1: not supposed to say this, because I'm like, oh no,
- 39:52Speaker 1: I was actually honestly a little relieved when it was
- 39:55Speaker 1: just the word race.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because he said like some nonsense.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he was just talking about it in like a
- 40:01Speaker 1: D and D term due it was kind of weird,
- 40:03Speaker 1: like like when he was talking about how giants was
- 40:06Speaker 1: him who exclaimed that giants were real?
- 40:09Speaker 3: I want to say that was David Children.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I just remember that being a big moment, well, because.
- 40:16Speaker 3: He had that whole thing about how people are actually
- 40:19Speaker 3: getting smaller.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Oh that was fucking bzarre. Oh. I forgot about that
- 40:26Speaker 1: part until just now.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Holy shit, Because I believe science says the opposite.
- 40:31Speaker 1: It's absolutely from based of the archaeological evidence, the opposite.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and I could tell that's a hill he will
- 40:37Speaker 3: die on.
- 40:38Speaker 1: He had a whole speech planned for this topic, and
- 40:45Speaker 1: I'm like, this topic.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Yeah, he was. He was fired out.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I don't remember any of the details of it because
- 40:52Speaker 1: it didn't make any sense to me at the time
- 40:55Speaker 1: and so my brain couldn't retain it.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Yeah. That felt like the moment where everyone else at
- 41:00Speaker 3: the table was like David's changed, guys.
- 41:04Speaker 1: He used to be cool, let's become of course. Eric
- 41:08Speaker 1: vandank And was like, oh, remember when Eric Vontanakin mentioned
- 41:12Speaker 1: destroying the Israelites. Yes, And I was like, man, in
- 41:17Speaker 1: that accent, that sounds bad.
- 41:20Speaker 3: That sounded very bad coming from even though he.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Was not talking about like he was talking about like
- 41:27Speaker 1: biblical stuff, but like it also felt vaguely anti Semitic. Anyway,
- 41:32Speaker 1: he kept claiming that he was Jewish.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Something like that.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That was really weird to me because he's definitely not.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't tell if he was like claiming he
- 41:43Speaker 3: was Jewish or.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Just because that's a weird defense against anti Semitism.
- 41:48Speaker 3: It sure is.
- 41:49Speaker 1: And I don't know if it's gonna play out for him.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Call that the George Santos defense.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I don't know. He kept referring to our Jewish faith,
- 41:59Speaker 1: and I think maybe what he actually meant was like.
- 42:02Speaker 3: The collective Judeo Christian right or Judaism.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Maybe sure, but it really felt like he was trying
- 42:10Speaker 1: to say that he was Jewish. But I looked, and
- 42:13Speaker 1: first of all, I knew that he was born a
- 42:15Speaker 1: German Catholic, but also I looked to see if there
- 42:19Speaker 1: had been updates, and I was not able to find
- 42:22Speaker 1: any information about it.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I forgot the part from David Childress's thing about
- 42:29Speaker 3: people getting smaller. Remember when he said it's because of war,
- 42:33Speaker 3: and he liked, yes, oh yes, that's the whole thing
- 42:36Speaker 3: that was.
- 42:37Speaker 1: That was the center of his whole argument. Now it's
- 42:39Speaker 1: coming back where he's like, yeah, because think about it,
- 42:44Speaker 1: we've had so many this guy, first of all, talk
- 42:46Speaker 1: about definitely not on any sort of like we've had
- 42:50Speaker 1: NonStop war throughout our history. And who do we send
- 42:54Speaker 1: to fight the war. The tallest, the biggest, and the
- 42:58Speaker 1: strongest of our society. They go out and fight and
- 43:03Speaker 1: die in the war. And that's why we're getting smaller, and.
- 43:07Speaker 3: It's like, what does this have to do with anything?
- 43:10Speaker 1: Didn't have to do with any of the things that
- 43:12Speaker 1: he was responding to, but it was definitely it was entertaining.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I didn't understand the single word of it, but man,
- 43:20Speaker 1: I remember that now because that's what he's saying, like,
- 43:22Speaker 1: you know, the giants, man, the giants. I'm making him
- 43:26Speaker 1: sound like fucking Shaggy from Scooby.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Se sounds good, Shaggy giants, that's his whole vibe.
- 43:33Speaker 1: But yeah, what a we're getting sore man. And look,
- 43:37Speaker 1: I feel bad about making fun of any vendors at
- 43:41Speaker 1: the marketplace. I don't feel bad at all about making
- 43:45Speaker 1: fun of any of these motherfuckers who make so much
- 43:48Speaker 1: goddamn money on this awful bullshit.
- 43:51Speaker 3: And it was such a preaching to the choir situation.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Which that's the thing, Like if that is why we
- 43:58Speaker 3: didn't get press passes.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I mean, this is the thing, Like that's why I
- 44:02Speaker 1: said it might be the cherry to the God's things,
- 44:04Speaker 1: but honestly, I don't know, who knows. Maybe they weren't
- 44:07Speaker 1: accepting anybody. We walked past the A and E press
- 44:10Speaker 1: check in desk, and it seemed pretty slow got to say.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that is true, and yeah, like Giorgio Suculos, he
- 44:18Speaker 3: kept going back to that kind of talking point.
- 44:21Speaker 1: He's just a fucking showbiz guy. Everything he said rings
- 44:24Speaker 1: so fucking fake to me. I don't believe for a
- 44:27Speaker 1: second that he actually believes any of this shit. Yeah,
- 44:31Speaker 1: everything he was talking about just seems so disingenuous. He
- 44:34Speaker 1: was kept, you know, egging for applause and shit.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Yeah, at one point he said, who's insulting who?
- 44:40Speaker 1: Yeah? Did you see the thing when he came out,
- 44:42Speaker 1: he like switched two of the name tags so he
- 44:45Speaker 1: was sitting in a different spot.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, what was that about?
- 44:49Speaker 1: I don't know. People laughed. So maybe it was a
- 44:51Speaker 1: joke about him wanting to sit between Eric and someone else.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe he's got like beef with David Childress.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Differing opinions, and you know.
- 45:01Speaker 1: What, I don't care about that at all. I care
- 45:04Speaker 1: about what they're saying at this bullshit thing.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Yes, but also this was around the point where I
- 45:10Speaker 3: stopped caring about what they were saying.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, I mean they talked for I didn't look
- 45:16Speaker 1: at a clock, so I wasn't sure. It could have
- 45:18Speaker 1: been ten minutes, It could have been an hour that
- 45:21Speaker 1: we had been listening to them just kind of re
- 45:25Speaker 1: associate about various topics relating to ancient aliens and things
- 45:30Speaker 1: of that sort, and then they got a Q and
- 45:34Speaker 1: a right.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Well, Giorgio Suklos brought it home talking about bottlenecks and yes,
- 45:41Speaker 3: evolutionary evolutionary bottlenecks, and how we've survived two of those,
- 45:47Speaker 3: that a third one is coming sure, and that we
- 45:51Speaker 3: might not survive that one. And I took that opportunity
- 45:54Speaker 3: just because people had been applauding at the weirdest point
- 45:57Speaker 3: throughout the night when he said we might not survive
- 46:01Speaker 3: the third, when I just started and no one joined me,
- 46:05Speaker 3: it was weird. But it seems like his opinion is
- 46:09Speaker 3: that we survived those because aliens came down and helped,
- 46:11Speaker 3: and now they're not gonna because we're not nice anymore,
- 46:14Speaker 3: sure because we're mean to Yeah, ancient.
- 46:18Speaker 1: He made a couple of right and left. They just
- 46:21Speaker 1: need to come together, man. He said that a few times,
- 46:24Speaker 1: in addition to like talking about like religion and science
- 46:27Speaker 1: coming together.
- 46:28Speaker 3: And like facts. But I don't want to hear that
- 46:31Speaker 3: from him, especially because of that documentary we covered a
- 46:34Speaker 3: while back where the guy was like, no, you can
- 46:36Speaker 3: see it in a person's DNA if they're like extra
- 46:39Speaker 3: enhanced and aliens and maybe people who've been impacted by
- 46:42Speaker 3: them deserve some reparations. And also Jena.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Side Yeah, I mean like, I don't know, I find
- 46:49Speaker 1: the whole ideology such a bummer, and it's so obviously
- 46:52Speaker 1: just money for him. I don't know, like he'll just
- 46:55Speaker 1: go with whatever bullshit theory that anyone wants to come up.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I've never really watched Ancient Aliens. I'm gonna say that now.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I've only watched maybe a full No, I don't think
- 47:07Speaker 1: I've ever watched a full episode.
- 47:09Speaker 3: I at one point had seen it all, but that
- 47:11Speaker 3: was like eighteen seasons ago. Because it's like seventy five
- 47:14Speaker 3: seasons of the show, I am going no idea.
- 47:17Speaker 1: How yeah, it's been going for so long. Every episode
- 47:20Speaker 1: I have to imagine is the exact same. I have
- 47:23Speaker 1: to imagine that every week they just air the same episode.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Well, we meaning me and Laura Crawford at one point
- 47:30Speaker 3: tried to do like what you and I did. I
- 47:33Speaker 3: remember Jesse Ventura think yeah and we got like a
- 47:37Speaker 3: few episodes here, and it's like it's just gonna be
- 47:39Speaker 3: the same thing every fucking time we talk about yeah
- 47:41Speaker 3: show we gave up.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Yeah. And also it's like all white supermassis. Shit. Yeah
- 47:45Speaker 1: it sucked, but yeah, it was a weird event.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Man.
- 47:49Speaker 1: The energy in the room was weird.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and then there was the Q and A.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Right, and then there was the Q and A. We
- 47:54Speaker 1: both kind of were like, oh, oh, this is where
- 47:58Speaker 1: it's really.
- 47:59Speaker 3: I fastened my seat they announced that was happening.
- 48:01Speaker 1: The event has finally begun. This has all been like
- 48:05Speaker 1: the twenty like at the movie theater, you know, like
- 48:08Speaker 1: it's not even the trailers. It's just like the little
- 48:11Speaker 1: ads beforehand.
- 48:13Speaker 3: And it was such a weird mix of like m
- 48:16Speaker 3: m people coming up and being like thank you for
- 48:20Speaker 3: everything you've done for society, and it's like, people, it's
- 48:24Speaker 3: a TV show, Yeah, what have they done?
- 48:26Speaker 1: What have they done for society?
- 48:29Speaker 3: And then there were also people who were asking questions
- 48:33Speaker 3: but in that way where they either knew what the
- 48:36Speaker 3: answer was gonna be or they were like trying to
- 48:38Speaker 3: impress everybody on the stage.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Honestly, I don't know if anybody actually ever asked a
- 48:44Speaker 1: question like, they would always say I've got a question,
- 48:47Speaker 1: and then they would ramble for a little while. Yeah,
- 48:50Speaker 1: and then they would stop talking and expectantly wait.
- 48:55Speaker 3: It was a lot like the Chris Farley sketch where
- 48:59Speaker 3: they'd be like, you remember when you and John Lennon
- 49:03Speaker 3: wrote that song? Yeah, that was cool. Yeah. Those are
- 49:06Speaker 3: the kind of questions people were thrown out there.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Right multiple times. The panelists and again, these are four
- 49:13Speaker 1: people who are fucking nut jups had to be like,
- 49:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I didn't understand your question.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Yes, And it was the only time me and that
- 49:24Speaker 3: panel really agreed on anything. Yeah, I also did not
- 49:29Speaker 3: understand most of those questions.
- 49:31Speaker 1: There were some like and I've talked about this on
- 49:33Speaker 1: the show before. There was a guy who was talking
- 49:36Speaker 1: about I was genetically modified, and like I've got micro
- 49:40Speaker 1: chips under my skin, and I'm like, oh my god,
- 49:43Speaker 1: I really hope that guy's okay.
- 49:45Speaker 3: And he was. He was also the one who was like,
- 49:47Speaker 3: in the aliens, they have a message right that I'm
- 49:50Speaker 3: supposed to deliver, which is that they're not coming here
- 49:53Speaker 3: to harm us. And I was like, that's what the
- 49:55Speaker 3: aliens who are coming here to harm us would say.
- 49:57Speaker 1: That's what they would do through your psychically hijacked.
- 50:01Speaker 3: If that's true, that was an alien inside.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I don't know that I trust that from that source.
- 50:07Speaker 1: But also like.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Part was awkward in a little second, that was that
- 50:12Speaker 3: was a bummer. It really that that happens every fucking alien.
- 50:16Speaker 1: And what did they say? Thank you for sharing your story,
- 50:19Speaker 1: thank you for your courage, Thank you for your courage.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Now please don't go and cut your skin open trying
- 50:25Speaker 1: to dig the micro chips out.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, that was rough. Yeah, remember the guy talking,
- 50:31Speaker 3: what's the record? The guy kept bringing up and like.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Oh the Akashak Record. Oh that was so funny. Oh
- 50:37Speaker 1: my god. So this guy had this really long rambling
- 50:40Speaker 1: question comment thing about like how about AI?
- 50:45Speaker 3: About AI hacking or using AI to access.
- 50:49Speaker 1: The Akashak Record Kahak record for people at home who
- 50:52Speaker 1: don't know, the Akashak Record is a collective psychic history
- 50:57Speaker 1: of the entire species' consciousness supposedly exists and the ether
- 51:02Speaker 1: literally a e t e art of the world, like
- 51:05Speaker 1: in the occult sense, right, and so basically it's a
- 51:09Speaker 1: library of all human existence. And he's saying, yeah, like
- 51:13Speaker 1: the way that we use AI to like search for
- 51:16Speaker 1: porn on the cloud? Can we use AI to access
- 51:20Speaker 1: the Acacak record? And he said that and then they
- 51:23Speaker 1: were like, I'm sorry, we didn't understand. You know, they
- 51:26Speaker 1: would kind of talk a little bit. They weren't doing
- 51:28Speaker 1: the we didn't understand what you were saying, but they
- 51:30Speaker 1: did keep saying over and over having him repeat a
- 51:33Speaker 1: Kashak record. He said it like four times, and then
- 51:38Speaker 1: Georgio was like, oh, you mean the Acacak record And
- 51:43Speaker 1: the guy was like, yeah, that's what I've been saying.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Like everyone except the panel heard him say as record
- 51:50Speaker 3: a million times.
- 51:51Speaker 1: It was really funny.
- 51:54Speaker 3: And that was another of those questions where when he
- 51:57Speaker 3: finally spit it out, it was just like what do
- 52:00Speaker 3: you think of that?
- 52:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 52:01Speaker 3: And they were like, I don't know.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Can we get out of supervise? Yeah? Like that's the
- 52:05Speaker 1: thing about the Q, and it was it was like
- 52:07Speaker 1: every bad Q and a thing that you could do
- 52:10Speaker 1: in a row, one after the other. There was the
- 52:13Speaker 1: girl who was like, I am new to the show.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I was sick recently, so I caught up on ancient
- 52:20Speaker 1: aliens and I'm learning about all this and I was
- 52:24Speaker 1: just wondering if you'd ever thought about talking about the
- 52:28Speaker 1: impact of hallucinogenics on the human brain and evolution and
- 52:32Speaker 1: that sort of thing, and they were like, yep, we've
- 52:35Speaker 1: done that. Yeah.
- 52:36Speaker 3: She made it clear that she hadn't watched the entire
- 52:39Speaker 3: show yet, and she didn't even say have you ever
- 52:43Speaker 3: thought about It? Was almost kind of like, well, why
- 52:47Speaker 3: haven't you talked about?
- 52:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 52:49Speaker 3: That was the gens and psychedelics, Like that's a thing
- 52:52Speaker 3: that people talk about in terms of aliens all the time.
- 52:55Speaker 3: And they were like, we did. They named the episode
- 52:58Speaker 3: that's such a desk plea for attention. Yeah, to be like,
- 53:02Speaker 3: how come you're not talking about psychedelics even though I
- 53:04Speaker 3: haven't seen the whole show.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I kind of feel like maybe she was not psychedelics
- 53:08Speaker 1: at the time. It seems like she was really into it.
- 53:10Speaker 1: So that was a funny one. And then there was
- 53:13Speaker 1: let's see, who were some of the other good questions?
- 53:17Speaker 3: There were no good questions?
- 53:18Speaker 1: Well, you know what I mean, like like stand out.
- 53:21Speaker 1: So I'm trying to remember we did record audio of
- 53:25Speaker 1: not to say we did, but I didn't we did.
- 53:29Speaker 3: I didn't record any audio of anything.
- 53:31Speaker 1: But it's not like anything that we could play in
- 53:33Speaker 1: the episode, because that would not be good.
- 53:36Speaker 3: No, but we could access the Akashak record and like
- 53:41Speaker 3: go back and watch and then maybe do a separate
- 53:43Speaker 3: episode where we attempt to answer all of those questions.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Jugiedo famed horror manga artist. He did a really great
- 53:53Speaker 1: story that involved the Akashak record. It was just really good.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Didn't that sort of come up? I have something along
- 54:00Speaker 3: those lines in the notes?
- 54:01Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't. I don't remember June Edo, Yeah, I
- 54:04Speaker 1: don't know, but yeah, what a time. It was wild.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I just can't believe that we stumbled into the fucking
- 54:10Speaker 1: panel with Eric von Danakin. Yeah, and he was a maniac. Yeah,
- 54:15Speaker 1: he was at everything that I thought he would be.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Yeah. It would be like going to a music festival
- 54:19Speaker 3: and they don't tell you who's on what stage, right,
- 54:22Speaker 3: just like randomly see the headliner.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Right exactly, Yeah, exactly.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Because it could have gone so many other ways.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it could have been awful, but we might not
- 54:31Speaker 1: be having an episode.
- 54:33Speaker 3: But because of the celestial intervention of our alien overlords,
- 54:40Speaker 3: everything worked out. Yeah, and we got a whole episode
- 54:43Speaker 3: out of our trip to Alien con.
- 54:45Speaker 1: We should just watch Prometheus. I mean that would be good.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Even if not for an episode. We should just fucking
- 54:50Speaker 3: watch Prometheus. Yeah, it's a good movie.
- 54:52Speaker 1: It is it to me just is a total annihilation
- 54:56Speaker 1: of ancient alien theory as something that is desira or
- 55:00Speaker 1: interesting or because it's just like, yeah, okay, sure, yeah
- 55:04Speaker 1: aliens made us and then what right, Oh it turns
- 55:08Speaker 1: out maybe that's awful.
- 55:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so I think that's our episode. Right, Do we
- 55:13Speaker 3: have any final thoughts? Would you go back to alien
- 55:15Speaker 3: Con next year?
- 55:17Speaker 1: Maybe? I feel like I've gotten everything that I need.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I feel like it's gonna be like ancient Aliens in
- 55:23Speaker 3: that you go back next year, right, pretty much the same.
- 55:26Speaker 1: It'll just be a different Q and A right, and
- 55:29Speaker 1: maybe maybe And I don't know if that's worth the
- 55:32Speaker 1: price of admission. But for the one time it was interesting.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I enjoyed the marketplace a lot.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, if you're into alien stuff, yeah, sure,
- 55:42Speaker 3: I gets in town.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Even if you don't believe in any sort of alternative
- 55:48Speaker 1: healing or whatever, like any sort of a cult or
- 55:52Speaker 1: alternative thing that you can think of, if you have
- 55:54Speaker 1: an interest in it at all, like as a curiosity
- 55:57Speaker 1: that's basically the most constant and traded different kinds of
- 56:02Speaker 1: that energy that you can get in one place. Yeah,
- 56:05Speaker 1: but it's all sponsored by A and E, which is
- 56:07Speaker 1: so fucking weird.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Oh, should we just get a booth there next year?
- 56:11Speaker 1: Fuck?
- 56:11Speaker 3: You know, we should get a booth at a lot
- 56:14Speaker 3: on next year. Adam, we would get murdered in the
- 56:16Speaker 3: parking lot, but we should absolutely try to get I.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Would actually be it. That would be fun.
- 56:23Speaker 3: I think we might.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I think that would be really fun.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll keep our eyes okay.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I mean if the fucking fibo first, can they're just
- 56:30Speaker 1: cohos players come on now?
- 56:33Speaker 3: Either that or we'll just get concession stand jobs and
- 56:36Speaker 3: then quit at work that day.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I'm good, not even for a joke. True, No, unless
- 56:45Speaker 1: like you get like fifty dollars an hour working there,
- 56:49Speaker 1: and I doubt it.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Free Chef's Combo, get so Chef's Special. Sorry, yes, so
- 56:56Speaker 3: I think that's our episode. Yeah, we did it.
- 56:59Speaker 1: We did do it.
- 57:00Speaker 3: We did go to Alien Con.
- 57:03Speaker 1: The things we do for you people are Oh man,
- 57:06Speaker 1: you better thank us, Olivia, thanks so much.
