- 0:01Unbelievable times in the gold and silver markets.
- 0:04The godfather of gold himself is calling for $17,250 per oz gold.
- 0:12But the real interesting part is how soon he sees this happening
- 0:17and we've got more and more people talking about a silver
- 0:21squeeze again, I don't know, maybe we'd prefer to call it a
- 0:25silver Stampede. Whatever the case may be, thank
- 0:28you for joining me down here in the the basement.
- 0:30We are the basement dwellers. We believe in the future of
- 0:34silver and gold because we understand history and basic
- 0:38mathematics. Let's go take a look at the
- 0:40silver price right now. Remember over the weekend when
- 0:44the silver price was a measly $80 per oz?
- 0:49We were very happy and I went out on a limb and predicted that
- 0:52by the end of this week, I thought that it was very likely
- 0:56we would have an $85 per oz silver price.
- 0:59Well, little did we, we know that we would get that on
- 1:01Monday. But the important thing here
- 1:03guys is we're looking at a five day chart in silver in my
- 1:07opinion is that we close this week somewhere between 85 and
- 1:13$87.00 per oz. I know we all wanted to go to
- 1:17the moon. We all want you know, 200,
- 1:19three, 104 hundred, $500 silver. I'm with you on that.
- 1:24But we really want it to happen in a steady, consistent manner.
- 1:29And if we can close about this week, even above $8384 per oz in
- 1:33silver wheat will be in good shape.
- 1:36But now they're talking about the silver squeeze again.
- 1:40Let's hit on that real briefly. We're going to go out the metals
- 1:43and miners who shares this with us is the silver squeeze here.
- 1:50China imports a record 836 tons of silver in March.
- 1:54We've got the sulfuric acid crisis in the straight killing
- 1:58copper and silver production and the six year deficit.
- 2:02Let's just hit a couple of their their key points here.
- 2:05Silver market is breaking, OK. The explosive surge in silver
- 2:09price is not a speculative anomaly, it's the mathematical
- 2:14consequence. Remember that's one of our key
- 2:16components to be in basement dwellers.
- 2:18We understand basic math of a supply chain that is
- 2:22fundamentally broken in a demand profile that is going parabolic,
- 2:28parabolic, parabolic. Anyway.
- 2:30The world is consuming silver at a rate that the mining industry
- 2:35simply cannot sustain. And the geopolitical events of
- 2:40the last few weeks have accelerated the timeline for a
- 2:43historic supply squeeze. Now we're in favor more of a
- 2:48squeeze, a long term squeeze, steady, consistent or a Stampede
- 2:54if you will. The the the window to acquire
- 2:58physical silver before it becomes functionally
- 3:01unattainable is closing rapidly. So we got the sulfuric acid
- 3:05shock, which will decrease copper production, which will
- 3:08decrease silver production because 70 to 75% of the world's
- 3:14silver comes as a by product of copper mining and lead and zinc.
- 3:19China is hoarding silver like crazy.
- 3:21We've covered that ad nauseam. the United States, we don't talk
- 3:26about this often enough, imports roughly 65 to 80% of its annual
- 3:31silver consumption to meet the demands of military, the
- 3:35electrical grid and the AI build out.
- 3:37Whoa, I forgot to warn you guys. I've got something next we're
- 3:40going to look at regards to AI that is absolutely shocking, not
- 3:45what you're expecting, I'll tell you that.
- 3:47And there's an inelastic supply response.
- 3:50Yes, of course, as we know and as we covered yesterday and many
- 3:54times in the past, the silver mining industry just can't turn
- 3:58a knob at the mill and start creating more silver.
- 4:02There is a a depleting pipeline of future silver supply coming
- 4:07from the mining sector. Why?
- 4:10Because they manipulated the price down for decades and
- 4:13decades. So very few people, only the
- 4:16true visionaries, people like Keith Neumeyer with a First
- 4:20Majestic. People like with the guy from
- 4:23Dali Varden, Sean Koon. Koon, though the list is not
- 4:28that long. Very few people actually
- 4:30invested in building, developing and exploring for silver.
- 4:34Now this is interesting. It has to do with AI.
- 4:39And it's not just that same old story.
- 4:41We've been hearing that OAI chips are going to demand
- 4:44silver, which they are. But wait until you hear this.
- 4:52This is from Bloomberg. And it says why silver power and
- 4:58chemicals will be the next Micron trade.
- 5:01Top AI expert says this. OK Jordy Visser believes the AI
- 5:06build out is moving into a new phase where early cycle
- 5:10semiconductor winners, right? Those are all those big, you
- 5:13know, Micron, NVIDIA, all these companies that their stocks are
- 5:17like in bubbles, OK, hand off to late cycle physical bottlenecks.
- 5:23This is the AI investing guru saying this, including power
- 5:29chemicals and silver. This Sir has sold out of 2/3 of
- 5:34his Micron is now focusing on companies in the commodities
- 5:38that would be silver in chemical space, which he believes are
- 5:42more late cycle, late cycle in the AI cycle.
- 5:45This Sir, thanks Silver is attractive.
- 5:49This is from Bloomberg guys. This is the AI guru due to its
- 5:53role as a structural input to the AI build out and expects it
- 5:58to play catch up as the AI cycle moves into its late phase.
- 6:04So who is this guy Jordy Visser? Just quickly, so we know who
- 6:07we're talking about. He's a veteran macro investor.
- 6:11He's the head of a big research and investment firm.
- 6:15But hey, here's his background, having spent nearly 20 years in
- 6:20top executive roles, including president and CIO at a major
- 6:24multi strategy hedge fund and previously serving as a managing
- 6:29director at Morgan Stanley. He is operated at the highest
- 6:33compensation tiers of Wall Street for decades.
- 6:37OK, Remember, OK, this is a physical, a physical driven
- 6:44rally that we are experiencing right now in the silver market.
- 6:49AI is the hottest thing going right now.
- 6:52You know that it's like, I don't know, 60% of the total S&P 500.
- 6:57It's crazy. It's insane.
- 6:59That's a top AI guy saying, oh, by the way, everybody, I'm
- 7:03rotating my capital out of AI and into other sectors.
- 7:09And he specifically talks about silver.
- 7:12It's incredible. All right, It's absolutely
- 7:14incredible. What about, Oh, I want to say
- 7:18special thank you to Jordy, to the basement.
- 7:22Thank you for joining us. We're glad you're here.
- 7:25We think it's awesome that you're you've become a basement
- 7:28dweller and a silver lover just like us.
- 7:31Let's not forget, OK, we talked a lot about AI, but this is not
- 7:35changing either. Solar continues to eat silver.
- 7:392025 solar photovatallic consumed almost 200 million
- 7:43ounces of silver, roughly 17% of total global demand, even after
- 7:49heavy thrifting. Now thrifting means that is the
- 7:52silver price went up. They're looking for ways to
- 7:55substitute silver in the solar panels.
- 7:58Even with that going on, right, there is massive demand still
- 8:03and will continue for solar and silver.
- 8:07I've joked around many times and said don't call them solar
- 8:11panels, call them silver panels. When you're driving down the
- 8:14road in your woody wagon on the way to the local coin shop and
- 8:17you drive by one of those big massive solar panel farms where
- 8:21there's like thousands of them, don't look at those as solar
- 8:24panels. Look at those as little silver
- 8:26bars. And solar is not going anywhere.
- 8:29As the world develops, India, China, Africa, right is these is
- 8:34these economies continue to develop.
- 8:36People want electricity. There's no easier way for people
- 8:40to get electricity than to put solar panels on their house.
- 8:44You don't have to build a big power plant.
- 8:46You don't have to build a nuclear reactor.
- 8:48You don't have to run thousands of miles of expensive copper
- 8:52wire. Think about it, if you're a poor
- 8:55person in Africa and you finally scratched up together enough
- 8:59money and congratulations to get electricity right, it's going to
- 9:03be real easy for you to throw some panels on your roof in
- 9:06about 10 feet of copper wire to get the wire to where the light
- 9:11bulbs are. The cell phone chargers are the
- 9:13things that you want. Solar is, I think, hands down
- 9:18the most efficient and exciting future.
- 9:22Nuclear is great for countries that have big infrastructures in
- 9:25place, but nothing compares. And the other thing is we're in
- 9:28an energy crisis in the world right now.
- 9:30Think about this. Yeah, you can shut down the
- 9:33Straits of Hormuz, OK, No problem.
- 9:35It's happened. It's closed.
- 9:37It's created a massive energy crisis.
- 9:40You can't turn off the sun. So when it comes to solar, if
- 9:45you're a person in Africa, if you're a person in Iowa, if
- 9:48you're a person in in rural India, China, that's the
- 9:52solution, right? The, you know, Iran or the
- 9:55United States can't shut off the sun, can't stop the sun from
- 9:59shining. And it all depends on massive
- 10:02amounts of silver. OK, let's move on here.
- 10:06Oh, the sheeple. What, are they going to wake up?
- 10:09Let's have some fun. We talk about the sheeple.
- 10:12This, the story for Silver is absolutely incredible.
- 10:16You know what, Before we go there, we're going to watch
- 10:18something interesting that proves to you that people in the
- 10:22United States have not woken up to what's going on with silver.
- 10:26You may have woken up. And if you have and you want to
- 10:28get your hands on some silver, please check out channel sponsor
- 10:32First Met. I got a message from one of our
- 10:34viewers just yesterday. I think I shared it even on the
- 10:37timeline where he said the only regret I have about First meant
- 10:41is that I hadn't learned about them earlier.
- 10:44What a great company they are. The silver specialist meant OK
- 10:48literally you get silver that goes from the mine to the meant
- 10:52to you. They're located in the United
- 10:56States in Las Vegas, NV. Unbelievable products.
- 11:00Check them out for yourself. You'll experience what everyone
- 11:03in the community is experiencing.
- 11:05Great prices, great selection and great customer service.
- 11:10And unbelievable like this, their year of the Horse round,
- 11:14just unbelievable. The beer of the Buffalo round,
- 11:17the year of the Dragon round. And they've got a special going
- 11:20right now on their new Liberty bar, $2 off.
- 11:23Check them out. Wow.
- 11:24This says silver is up 67 cents. Whoa, that's good news.
- 11:30You know what? Let's take a little detour.
- 11:32Thank you First Men, for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 11:35Let's go out and check on the spot price of silver.
- 11:39Unbelievable. Up $0.80 man, I tell you, do you
- 11:44feel it like I do? The silver price is just seems
- 11:49very healthy lately, very resilient, very strong, kind of
- 11:53reminds me of that December through January time period.
- 11:57But this time what we don't want to see happen is a big blow off
- 12:00mania. We didn't have a squeeze.
- 12:02We've not had a squeeze yet. We had a bit of a mania this
- 12:06time. Right now that we've built this
- 12:08incredible foundation and we stayed above what we talked
- 12:11about $72.50 and built a huge solid foundation with the silver
- 12:17price it's going to get. I think it's it's going to get
- 12:19real interesting and when just a few more people wake up and join
- 12:24us, it's going to be a wave of new money coming into the silver
- 12:28market. This is from a while back, but I
- 12:31love I want to share this with you.
- 12:33This is the the typical standard Americans when offered a choice.
- 12:39We'll watch just a few of these. Do you want a 10 oz.
- 12:42Silver bar worth approximately $900?
- 12:45Or do you want a Hershey's candy bar?
- 12:48This is what we're dealing with in the United States.
- 12:51It's your lucky day today. You win a free 10 oz silver bar,
- 12:56pure silver bullion or a free Hershey's King size chocolate
- 13:01bar. You'll take the chocolate bar.
- 13:04Who needs the 10 oz bar silver? Have a good day, it's your
- 13:08choice. This guy will do.
- 13:10It a free 10 oz bar, a silver bullion or a free king size
- 13:15Hershey bar? I think I'll take the Hershey
- 13:17bar. Go ahead.
- 13:18Oh my God, it's your lucky day. Just fresh out of the
- 13:20refrigerator. Thank you.
- 13:22Thank you very much. Who needs a 10 oz bar of silver
- 13:24when you can have a good, delicious bar of chocolate?
- 13:26Right. Yeah, exactly.
- 13:27OK. All right, thank you.
- 13:28Thank you. Rather have the Hershey bar than
- 13:31the Silver bar. Yes, I would.
- 13:32Oh, you would. OK.
- 13:33The Hershey. Bar you eat it, eat the.
- 13:35Silver bar. Yeah, that's right.
- 13:35Can't. Even find somebody.
- 13:38Just straight out of the fridge doesn't.
- 13:40Seem real? Or a free silver bar.
- 13:45It's 10 oz. It's a little tarnished.
- 13:48Which one do you want? I.
- 13:51Don't know. Go ahead.
- 13:55Oh my gosh, OK, we we don't need to watch anymore.
- 13:58I think that was from a few years ago.
- 14:00But guys just reminded me of the fact that we are really in a
- 14:04unique situation here in the United States.
- 14:06We have so few people who really understand what the value of
- 14:10gold and silver are. But that works in our benefit
- 14:13because when those people in that video wake up, right, and
- 14:17come into the silver market, again, the smallest increase in
- 14:21interest, we saw that back in December and January, OK?
- 14:26It creates like a mania within the silver and gold market.
- 14:30We like to affectionately refer to those people as the the
- 14:36sheeple and we'll welcome them with open arms.
- 14:39OK, Let's talk about the godfather of gold, 17,250 gold.
- 14:45Before we do that, let's talk about the Godfather son, Jesse
- 14:48Colombo. Right?
- 14:51That sounds like a mafia name almost.
- 14:53Anyhow, Jesse Colombo, King World News reminded us that he
- 14:58is projecting an unbelievable gold price, jaw-dropping 15 to
- 15:04$20,000. Why do we listen to Jesse
- 15:07Colombo? Because he is widely recognized
- 15:09as one of the sharpest newer analyst within the precious
- 15:13metal sector. His Bubble Bubble report is like
- 15:16the leading Substack. You can check it out.
- 15:19You can subscribe if you like, but Jesse has done some
- 15:22incredible work in the precious metal sector.
- 15:25Let's Scroll down here. He goes through all the
- 15:28different reasons why gold is looking good, right?
- 15:31The breakout of the wedge patterns, channel patterns talks
- 15:35about overhead resistance, horizontal resistance in the
- 15:405000 zone and 5600 zone. But then Jesse sums it up with
- 15:45this as a reminder, I believe gold is only about two years
- 15:51into a secular bull market that should last at least a full
- 15:55decade. That's like the second inning of
- 15:57a nine inning baseball game, ultimately driving prices to at
- 16:01least at least 15 to $20,000 per oz.
- 16:07OK, that's Jesse Colombo, highly respected, highly regarded, at
- 16:12least 15 to 20 K per oz for gold in the next 10 years.
- 16:17Michael Oliver is a friendly reminder.
- 16:20We get the says that silver may skyrocket 600% in a few months.
- 16:26600 a few months is which mining stocks will also do very well
- 16:31and to expect an explosive move in gold.
- 16:34Also who is the godfather though?
- 16:37The actual godfather of gold? Pierre Lassand, right?
- 16:42Super respected guy. Franco, Nevada founder.
- 16:46He's been in the gold and silver sector forever.
- 16:48These aren't people who walked around for decades putting out
- 16:53crazy high numbers for gold and silver.
- 16:56But Pierre Lassand is now predicting 17 thousand $2250
- 17:02gold. But the interesting part is when
- 17:05he sees that coming. Let's go out and see what Pierre
- 17:08has to say. This comes from Kitco and it's a
- 17:10synopsis of an interview he did on there with Jeremy Safran.
- 17:15He says the 40 trillion debt crisis is paving the way for
- 17:19gold to reach 17,250 again. How soon Pierre, are you going
- 17:24to tell U.S. financial architecture globally is
- 17:27undergoing A structural transformation that positions
- 17:30gold to reach $17,250 an ounce as it replaces the US dollar is
- 17:35the currency of last reserve of last reserve.
- 17:39The Co founder of Franco Nevada and former president of Newmont
- 17:43Mining details a macroeconomic framework mirroring the
- 17:48stagflationary era of the 70s, but warned that today's is
- 17:52extreme leverage. 40 trillion in debt for the United States alone
- 17:58makes the current cycle far more volatile.
- 18:03OK. Lassan pointed to the late 70s
- 18:06where gold saw a tenfold increase as inflation and
- 18:10interest rates climbed simultaneously.
- 18:13But this is interesting. The total debt in 1981, when
- 18:19Reagan was first elected, was $1 trillion.
- 18:24Today, that one trillion, that's the amount of money that the US
- 18:28has to pay in interest alone every year because the total
- 18:34debt is now approaching 40 trillion.
- 18:37With the US budget deficit projected to exceed 8% of GDP,
- 18:41Lasonde argued the Fed is effectively monetizing the debt
- 18:45in printing dollars, providing a permanent tailwind for gold and
- 18:52silver. OK, he says.
- 18:54I reiterate that my $17,250 per oz gold price is as solid as can
- 19:02be. And he added, I'm convinced we
- 19:07will see this in the next three years.
- 19:11OK. Thank you.
- 19:12Pierre Lassand, look him up. Read about him.
- 19:16If you don't know, you probably know who he is.
- 19:18You're probably familiar with him.
- 19:19He is the godfather of gold and silver.
- 19:23And what he's talking about is quite simple.
- 19:26I won't harp on it very long, but it's so key for us to
- 19:30remember with the current financial situation in our
- 19:33country, the Fed cannot raise rates.
- 19:35Inflation is going through the roof.
- 19:38As a matter of fact, we got PPI numbers this morning, the
- 19:42producer price index, the wholesale inflation that are
- 19:45indicating this is now just beginning.
- 19:48Inflation will rule the day. the Fed doesn't need to raise rates.
- 19:52the Fed can actually raise rates.
- 19:55But if inflation continues to go higher, which it will, it will
- 19:59be the dominant force which continues to to to provide an
- 20:04unbelievable tailwind to the gold and silver market.
- 20:08We got more good news, global ETF bond buying.
- 20:12We're going to run through some quick data here from the Kobesi
- 20:16letter. Global physical Goldback ETFs
- 20:20posted 6.6 billion inflows in April.
- 20:25OK, why is this a big deal? Because in, in March, there was
- 20:30a $12 billion outflow that which was the largest withdrawal on
- 20:34record. OK, now there's a couple reasons
- 20:37why this is important. If we look back to March, which
- 20:42you see here, the dark blue is North America.
- 20:46Look at all the money that was taken out of the gold ETS, that
- 20:50one outlier April, we went back to the positive, but barely any
- 20:55coming from North America. The reason why we can be excited
- 20:59about this guys, is because by most means and measures, the
- 21:03overall sentiment in the precious metal sector in March
- 21:07was completely in the gutter. OK, we can smile about that now.
- 21:12It wasn't a lot of fun, no doubt about it, but we kept showing up
- 21:14every day. But the good news is, from that
- 21:17horrible sentiment, we can improve incredibly.
- 21:22OK, Sentiment does not stay in the gutter.
- 21:24Sentiment moves and cycles up and down and we saw that
- 21:28happening and we're seeing it happen in the Comex.
- 21:31But right now with open interest now starting to go up and
- 21:34trading volume also starting to go up, which is being reflected
- 21:38in more positive moves for both the metals, gold and silver.
- 21:43Next we're going to look at some hatred on gold and silver from
- 21:47CNBC. Before we do that, thank you to
- 21:491st Mining Gold for making this live stream possible, sponsoring
- 21:53Ron's Basement. They're a Canadian gold
- 21:55development stage company with two huge multi million ounce
- 21:59projects. Big gold in the ground in
- 22:02Canada, spring pole in Ontario, du parquet in Quebec.
- 22:06There aren't a lot of big multi million ounce development stage
- 22:10projects guys in great jurisdictions.
- 22:13And 1st Mining Gold has two of them.
- 22:15Let's go now. Learn more about First Mining
- 22:18Gold at their website, firstmininggold.com.
- 22:21Let's go see. Because we believe in fair and
- 22:24balanced reporting, our friends at CNBC put out a little hatred
- 22:28on gold and silver. This comes from their Fast Money
- 22:34segment and they were talking about the gold mining stocks.
- 22:37But two interesting things they say here that I don't agree
- 22:41with. Let's see what your thoughts
- 22:43are. All right, Carter.
- 22:52Yeah, many things are. Yeah, 49 minutes of the show is
- 22:55in the past. It was a great listen.
- 22:58Valuations are not a problem, although it's more expensive
- 23:00than a Newmont, for example. And that head and shoulders is
- 23:03scary. That uptrend line looks
- 23:05extraordinarily vulnerable. So I hear what he's saying.
- 23:07And if rates continue to go higher here, that's going to be
- 23:10a bit of a headwind for gold as well.
- 23:12So unfortunately, I'm sort of with Carter on this one.
- 23:15Yeah, Julie. Does gold have a place in your
- 23:17portfolio? No, I mean, we just, we're
- 23:20really not interested in things that don't cash flow and that's
- 23:23always been a thing that that's sad.
- 23:25I I love to wear it. So, you know, that's how it
- 23:27shows up. Yeah, I love to wear it.
- 23:30Did you hear how she said that she loves to wear it?
- 23:34Gold doesn't cash flow. No, it doesn't cash flow, but
- 23:37it's performed better than the S&P 500 over like what, the last
- 23:411020 even 30 years? Case closed.
- 23:45Now, Guy Adami, who I like a lot, he brought up this point
- 23:48that O gold's going to face headwinds because interest rates
- 23:51are going up. Wrong guy.
- 23:53Wrong. OK, As long as inflation goes up
- 23:57faster than interest rates and interest rates probably aren't
- 24:00going to go up. They may even go down and it
- 24:03doesn't even matter. Interest rates in the Fed don't
- 24:05matter anymore, guy, trust me. The the the, the best we could
- 24:10hope for is that they cut interest rates by maybe one 2%
- 24:15in an extreme scenario, which probably isn't going to happen.
- 24:18What matters is inflation. Inflation, everything else is
- 24:23now enslaved to inflation. There's no other way to say it.
- 24:27And that will be what will drive the boat for gold and silver as
- 24:32we move out. OK, now we got Deutsche Bank,
- 24:35man. We got a lot more to cover,
- 24:36guys. I'll, I'll do it as quickly as I
- 24:38can because the world's biggest, not the world's, Germany's
- 24:42biggest bank has something very interesting to say about gold
- 24:46and a prediction. They had an article came out
- 24:48that says return to history. And I love this because what
- 24:52they're saying that gold is rapidly not claiming but
- 24:57reclaiming its role is a primary reserve asset from the
- 25:02weaponized U.S. dollar. Gold is reclaiming.
- 25:08Gold never went anywhere. Gold has always been the world's
- 25:12reserve asset. Why?
- 25:13Why is why Deutsche Bank saying this again, Germany's biggest
- 25:17bank, like 1.4 trillion in assets because of geopolitical
- 25:23shifts. Now that I have the right screen
- 25:25up the dollar, the dollar sharing global reserves has
- 25:32changed from 60 to 40%. Gold's resurgence, Gold share of
- 25:37central bank reserves has tripled from the low 30s.
- 25:40OK, driven by EMS, the weaponization factor, Yes,
- 25:44everybody knows they weaponized the dollar.
- 25:47So people are afraid of the dollar, right?
- 25:49People of countries like Russia, other countries are fear, are
- 25:52afraid that if, oh, if we go against the US, they'll just
- 25:56seize our dollars and price projections.
- 25:59Here we go. Under a framework where emerging
- 26:02market countries can target a 40% gold share, the authors
- 26:06simulate potential gold prices rising as high as $8000 per oz.
- 26:15Next, let's talk about this, which becomes even more
- 26:21interesting. We're back to AI.
- 26:23But this is interesting, right? The AI everybody's screaming
- 26:26about a the great cash flow divergent from metals and
- 26:33miners. Gold and silver miners hit all
- 26:36time high free cash flow as big tech burns 715 billion on AI and
- 26:45free cash flow always predicts predicts the next big bull
- 26:49market this will bring. This is what we can expect in
- 26:52the next 5 to 10 years. What they point out what the guy
- 26:56earlier, what was his name? Oh shoot the guy.
- 27:01Hold on one second. The guy the the the what was his
- 27:04name? Darn it, hold on, I'm going to
- 27:05pull it up. Visser, Jordy Visser, same thing
- 27:10he said earlier, right? He's rotating out of AI.
- 27:13This shows cash flow, hyperscaler, free cash flow,
- 27:17margins. This is margins they're
- 27:19generating on their free cash flow.
- 27:21Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, right down the tubes guys.
- 27:25While at the same time, the gold and silver miners are creating
- 27:31record free cash flow as the general markets wake up and
- 27:35start to move, rotate more and more capital.
- 27:38Jordy Bisser is like the pioneer in doing this.
- 27:41He's the AI guy who said bye bye AI, I'm going to go to silver.
- 27:46He's not giving up on AI, but he's realizing that there's
- 27:50something else going on that's critical to AI being successful.
- 27:54And that would be silver is more and more people make that move.
- 27:59It's going to bring more and more eyeballs into the precious
- 28:01metal sector. Now, on top of that, I have a
- 28:04degree in accounting. I actually work for a BIG4
- 28:06accounting firm. At the end of the day, whether
- 28:09you're talking about your personal finances, my personal
- 28:12finances. All right.
- 28:17OK, Thank you upstairs, Susie. OK, thank you upstairs, Susie.
- 28:22The end at the end of the day, what matters is free cash flow.
- 28:28You can do all types of accounting trickery.
- 28:30Trust me, if you're a company, if you're a bank especially, you
- 28:34can do all types of, of accruals and deferrals and I, I call it
- 28:39Disneyland accounting. There's nothing that matters to
- 28:43a business or to you or to me. Then cash flow in the mining
- 28:48sector is generating unbelievable free cash flow.
- 28:52A gold miner who can sell gold at 4007 $100 per oz that only
- 28:58cost them $1700 per oz to dig up is generating $3000 per oz in
- 29:04free cash flow. There is no other industry on
- 29:07the face of the earth right now generating the amount of free
- 29:11cash flow and profit like the mining sector and the general
- 29:16markets will catch on to that and they're starting to catch on
- 29:20to that. And when they do, it will bring
- 29:22many, many more eyeballs back into the gold and silver sector.
- 29:27All right, we got some quick warnings just to show how
- 29:29screwed up things are out there and something very funny that
- 29:33I'm going to share with you as well.
- 29:35But guys, this is absolutely shocking, OK?
- 29:40S&P 500 at all time highs, while U.S. consumer sentiment is at
- 29:44all time lows. Look at this chart.
- 29:47This is insane and proves that we really are living in
- 29:50fantasyland. OK, the red line is consumer
- 29:53sentiment way down here, OK, the white line, and it's even higher
- 29:59now, is the S&P 500 something very?
- 30:04Why is that a big deal? Because the United States
- 30:07economy is a consumer driven economy.
- 30:10It makes no sense. OK, And then we get this from
- 30:13Kraft, you know the company Kraft.
- 30:16Wait till you hear what their CEO had to say recently to tell
- 30:19us about what's going on right now in the United States.
- 30:24Kraft Heinz slashes prices as consumer affordability hits
- 30:28breaking point. That's not it.
- 30:29This is the interesting part in yellow.
- 30:31In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, their CEO said
- 30:36packaged food companies strategy includes price cuts on items
- 30:40that have become expensive, more promotions, new smaller packages
- 30:47and lower prices shrink flation. Anyway, this is what's crazy, he
- 30:52said. Quote in red.
- 30:55Consumers are literally running out of money toward the end of
- 31:00the month. Well, it's OK guys, get ready to
- 31:03laugh because we can all move to Canada because in Canada this is
- 31:07what you get when you go buy a porterhouse steak at the growth.
- 31:12Those are the new smaller packages coming from Kraft.
- 31:18There was something else. Oh, that what I wanted to point
- 31:21out the reason I was showing this, right?
- 31:23Yeah. The price of beef.
- 31:24If you tried to buy a steak lately, well, guess what?
- 31:28Think about it. The price of silver, right?
- 31:31The dollar has not kept up with the price of beef.
- 31:34The price of silver has kept up and then some.
- 31:39Hold on. I have a quick drink of water.
- 31:45OK, All right. And one, one final and then
- 31:47we're going to get to the comments and the Super chats and
- 31:50say thank you. One more incredible thing going
- 31:52on right now that shows us things are not good out there in
- 31:58the US economy. Uh oh.
- 32:00Oh, Here we go. Well, we got two more.
- 32:02Michael Bury. That's the guy who did the Big
- 32:05Short. He's like the famous guy that
- 32:06made a movie about him. He says the market today feels
- 32:09like the last months of the 1999 to 2000 tech bubble.
- 32:14I was around back then. I agree.
- 32:17He's best known for predicting the US housing crash.
- 32:19Said stocks are uh oh, uh oh. Hold on, guys.
- 32:25Here we go. Are you looking at me?
- 32:28There you go. All right, now we got him.
- 32:31He says that stocks are no longer reacting.
- 32:34Thank you, Susie. Logically to economic data,
- 32:37stocks are not up or down because of jobs or consumer
- 32:41sentiment, Bury wrote, feeling like the last couple months of
- 32:4519992000. And he compared that to the
- 32:48trajectory of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index.
- 32:52Yeah, that is incredible. I looked it up.
- 32:55It's the SOXX. It looks like a complete.
- 32:58It looks like the silver price in January, which again, is why
- 33:03we don't really want or need that silver price to go
- 33:06parabolic. We're shooting for 85 or so.
- 33:09One more piece of crazy news, The blue dot do you have?
- 33:13Do you have the blue dot fever? What is blue dot fever?
- 33:18It's play play plaguing musicians like Post Malone,
- 33:21Meghan Trainer Zane as a growing list of artists cancel tours due
- 33:26to lagging ticket sales. The Pussycat Dolls, where do
- 33:30they get these names from? Are the latest music artists to
- 33:33cancel swaths of US arena or stadium tours amid lagging
- 33:38ticket sales. It's part of a spreading
- 33:40epidemic the industry is calling blue dot fever after the blue
- 33:45dots that represent unsold seats at the Ticket Masters website.
- 33:50So things are not good out there.
- 33:52Beware and please don't buy a porterhouse steak in Canada.
- 33:56Oh, that was shared by one of our great basement dwellers,
- 33:59Timothy Zoob. He sent me that picture.
- 34:01And I also want to say thank you to Mr. M, who's another great
- 34:05community member who provides us with a lot of the information
- 34:09that I'm able to share. I appreciate when you guys send
- 34:12me very interesting things. Let's go out and say thank you.
- 34:16Oh, I forgot to beg you. Please subscribe to the channel
- 34:18if you haven't already. Let's go out and look at the
- 34:21comments. And we got a couple super chats,
- 34:24this one from ZTKRC. Do you think we could see
- 34:29another rotation out of crypto in the silver like we did in
- 34:33October and January? Was that coincidence or is there
- 34:37more to the story? Love the show.
- 34:39I think that was more of coincidence.
- 34:42I am of the firm belief. Look, I love silver, I love
- 34:45gold. I also love crypto.
- 34:47I am of the firm belief that all three silver, gold and crypto in
- 34:54general can do very well and will do very well as we move
- 34:59into the coming year and 10 years.
- 35:02OK. So I don't think that it's there
- 35:04were a lot of crypto people. I can tell you that from
- 35:07experience that that became very interested in silver and gold
- 35:11back around kind of the December to January time frame.
- 35:14But there were also a lot of people that weren't in crypto
- 35:17that also were new to gold and silver who came around.
- 35:21I think this next wave, I think this neck, the big, I think the
- 35:25biggest catalyst that will bring what will feel like a massive
- 35:31amount of people into the gold and silver sector will be
- 35:34inflation will be literally when you go to the gas station or you
- 35:39go to the grocery store in a gallon of gas or a gallon of
- 35:42milk cost $10. That's when people finally wake
- 35:47up, right? I think people kind of dealt
- 35:49with what happened in the post C-19 inflation wave 910% that we
- 35:55got. But I think we're going to see
- 35:57inflation coming like we, when you look at the energy crisis
- 36:01going on and when you look at I won't go down this path too long
- 36:04and you look at the fundamental fiscal and monetary situation in
- 36:09the world, we got a Rep recipe for massive inflation and a
- 36:14stagnant economy. It's going to be stag
- 36:17hyperflation. I think we just invented a new
- 36:20world. Thank you for the Super chat, my
- 36:22friend, and thank you for your super chat.
- 36:26Thank you upstairs, Susie. And here we go.
- 36:29Got another super chat. Hold on, I can't love Ron's
- 36:33basement. Hey, thank you.
- 36:34Main coin and gold. Thank you, main coin and gold.
- 36:38And I'm going to put you up on the up on the big screen.
- 36:40You're famous on the Internet. We're all famous.
- 36:43We love this guys. It's going to be such an
- 36:45interesting journey. Think about the next 10 years
- 36:49together, everything that's going to happen in the world,
- 36:53but in particular with silver and gold.
- 36:56I just think that we are in for some incredible times.
- 36:59It's going to be turbulent at times, no doubt about it.
- 37:02But I think we're going to be very happy that we did what we
- 37:05did and on behalf of it, to honor you, Yeah, you, each and
- 37:09everyone of you. Today, we're going to press that
- 37:11subscribe button right now. That's all we ask.
- 37:14Leave a comment, Press subscribe.
- 37:16I'm going to ring the Golden gong 3 * 4.
- 37:20Good luck. All right guys, have a great
- 37:25day. Thanks for being with us down
- 37:27here in the basement and we will look forward to seeing you.
- 37:31Yes, you will see you soon. Bye bye.
