**ALERT!** 🦍🦍- SILVER & Gold Just had a MASSIVE Change... (Iran, AI, Solar, CNBC & More News too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Unbelievable times in the gold and silver markets.
0:04
The godfather of gold himself is calling for $17,250 per oz gold.
0:12
But the real interesting part is how soon he sees this happening
0:17
and we've got more and more people talking about a silver
0:21
squeeze again, I don't know, maybe we'd prefer to call it a
0:25
silver Stampede. Whatever the case may be, thank
0:28
you for joining me down here in the the basement.
0:30
We are the basement dwellers. We believe in the future of
0:34
silver and gold because we understand history and basic
0:38
mathematics. Let's go take a look at the
0:40
silver price right now. Remember over the weekend when
0:44
the silver price was a measly $80 per oz?
0:49
We were very happy and I went out on a limb and predicted that
0:52
by the end of this week, I thought that it was very likely
0:56
we would have an $85 per oz silver price.
0:59
Well, little did we, we know that we would get that on
1:01
Monday. But the important thing here
1:03
guys is we're looking at a five day chart in silver in my
1:07
opinion is that we close this week somewhere between 85 and
1:13
$87.00 per oz. I know we all wanted to go to
1:17
the moon. We all want you know, 200,
1:19
three, 104 hundred, $500 silver. I'm with you on that.
1:24
But we really want it to happen in a steady, consistent manner.
1:29
And if we can close about this week, even above $8384 per oz in
1:33
silver wheat will be in good shape.
1:36
But now they're talking about the silver squeeze again.
1:40
Let's hit on that real briefly. We're going to go out the metals
1:43
and miners who shares this with us is the silver squeeze here.
1:50
China imports a record 836 tons of silver in March.
1:54
We've got the sulfuric acid crisis in the straight killing
1:58
copper and silver production and the six year deficit.
2:02
Let's just hit a couple of their their key points here.
2:05
Silver market is breaking, OK. The explosive surge in silver
2:09
price is not a speculative anomaly, it's the mathematical
2:14
consequence. Remember that's one of our key
2:16
components to be in basement dwellers.
2:18
We understand basic math of a supply chain that is
2:22
fundamentally broken in a demand profile that is going parabolic,
2:28
parabolic, parabolic. Anyway.
2:30
The world is consuming silver at a rate that the mining industry
2:35
simply cannot sustain. And the geopolitical events of
2:40
the last few weeks have accelerated the timeline for a
2:43
historic supply squeeze. Now we're in favor more of a
2:48
squeeze, a long term squeeze, steady, consistent or a Stampede
2:54
if you will. The the the window to acquire
2:58
physical silver before it becomes functionally
3:01
unattainable is closing rapidly. So we got the sulfuric acid
3:05
shock, which will decrease copper production, which will
3:08
decrease silver production because 70 to 75% of the world's
3:14
silver comes as a by product of copper mining and lead and zinc.
3:19
China is hoarding silver like crazy.
3:21
We've covered that ad nauseam. the United States, we don't talk
3:26
about this often enough, imports roughly 65 to 80% of its annual
3:31
silver consumption to meet the demands of military, the
3:35
electrical grid and the AI build out.
3:37
Whoa, I forgot to warn you guys. I've got something next we're
3:40
going to look at regards to AI that is absolutely shocking, not
3:45
what you're expecting, I'll tell you that.
3:47
And there's an inelastic supply response.
3:50
Yes, of course, as we know and as we covered yesterday and many
3:54
times in the past, the silver mining industry just can't turn
3:58
a knob at the mill and start creating more silver.
4:02
There is a a depleting pipeline of future silver supply coming
4:07
from the mining sector. Why?
4:10
Because they manipulated the price down for decades and
4:13
decades. So very few people, only the
4:16
true visionaries, people like Keith Neumeyer with a First
4:20
Majestic. People like with the guy from
4:23
Dali Varden, Sean Koon. Koon, though the list is not
4:28
that long. Very few people actually
4:30
invested in building, developing and exploring for silver.
4:34
Now this is interesting. It has to do with AI.
4:39
And it's not just that same old story.
4:41
We've been hearing that OAI chips are going to demand
4:44
silver, which they are. But wait until you hear this.
4:52
This is from Bloomberg. And it says why silver power and
4:58
chemicals will be the next Micron trade.
5:01
Top AI expert says this. OK Jordy Visser believes the AI
5:06
build out is moving into a new phase where early cycle
5:10
semiconductor winners, right? Those are all those big, you
5:13
know, Micron, NVIDIA, all these companies that their stocks are
5:17
like in bubbles, OK, hand off to late cycle physical bottlenecks.
5:23
This is the AI investing guru saying this, including power
5:29
chemicals and silver. This Sir has sold out of 2/3 of
5:34
his Micron is now focusing on companies in the commodities
5:38
that would be silver in chemical space, which he believes are
5:42
more late cycle, late cycle in the AI cycle.
5:45
This Sir, thanks Silver is attractive.
5:49
This is from Bloomberg guys. This is the AI guru due to its
5:53
role as a structural input to the AI build out and expects it
5:58
to play catch up as the AI cycle moves into its late phase.
6:04
So who is this guy Jordy Visser? Just quickly, so we know who
6:07
we're talking about. He's a veteran macro investor.
6:11
He's the head of a big research and investment firm.
6:15
But hey, here's his background, having spent nearly 20 years in
6:20
top executive roles, including president and CIO at a major
6:24
multi strategy hedge fund and previously serving as a managing
6:29
director at Morgan Stanley. He is operated at the highest
6:33
compensation tiers of Wall Street for decades.
6:37
OK, Remember, OK, this is a physical, a physical driven
6:44
rally that we are experiencing right now in the silver market.
6:49
AI is the hottest thing going right now.
6:52
You know that it's like, I don't know, 60% of the total S&P 500.
6:57
It's crazy. It's insane.
6:59
That's a top AI guy saying, oh, by the way, everybody, I'm
7:03
rotating my capital out of AI and into other sectors.
7:09
And he specifically talks about silver.
7:12
It's incredible. All right, It's absolutely
7:14
incredible. What about, Oh, I want to say
7:18
special thank you to Jordy, to the basement.
7:22
Thank you for joining us. We're glad you're here.
7:25
We think it's awesome that you're you've become a basement
7:28
dweller and a silver lover just like us.
7:31
Let's not forget, OK, we talked a lot about AI, but this is not
7:35
changing either. Solar continues to eat silver.
7:39
2025 solar photovatallic consumed almost 200 million
7:43
ounces of silver, roughly 17% of total global demand, even after
7:49
heavy thrifting. Now thrifting means that is the
7:52
silver price went up. They're looking for ways to
7:55
substitute silver in the solar panels.
7:58
Even with that going on, right, there is massive demand still
8:03
and will continue for solar and silver.
8:07
I've joked around many times and said don't call them solar
8:11
panels, call them silver panels. When you're driving down the
8:14
road in your woody wagon on the way to the local coin shop and
8:17
you drive by one of those big massive solar panel farms where
8:21
there's like thousands of them, don't look at those as solar
8:24
panels. Look at those as little silver
8:26
bars. And solar is not going anywhere.
8:29
As the world develops, India, China, Africa, right is these is
8:34
these economies continue to develop.
8:36
People want electricity. There's no easier way for people
8:40
to get electricity than to put solar panels on their house.
8:44
You don't have to build a big power plant.
8:46
You don't have to build a nuclear reactor.
8:48
You don't have to run thousands of miles of expensive copper
8:52
wire. Think about it, if you're a poor
8:55
person in Africa and you finally scratched up together enough
8:59
money and congratulations to get electricity right, it's going to
9:03
be real easy for you to throw some panels on your roof in
9:06
about 10 feet of copper wire to get the wire to where the light
9:11
bulbs are. The cell phone chargers are the
9:13
things that you want. Solar is, I think, hands down
9:18
the most efficient and exciting future.
9:22
Nuclear is great for countries that have big infrastructures in
9:25
place, but nothing compares. And the other thing is we're in
9:28
an energy crisis in the world right now.
9:30
Think about this. Yeah, you can shut down the
9:33
Straits of Hormuz, OK, No problem.
9:35
It's happened. It's closed.
9:37
It's created a massive energy crisis.
9:40
You can't turn off the sun. So when it comes to solar, if
9:45
you're a person in Africa, if you're a person in Iowa, if
9:48
you're a person in in rural India, China, that's the
9:52
solution, right? The, you know, Iran or the
9:55
United States can't shut off the sun, can't stop the sun from
9:59
shining. And it all depends on massive
10:02
amounts of silver. OK, let's move on here.
10:06
Oh, the sheeple. What, are they going to wake up?
10:09
Let's have some fun. We talk about the sheeple.
10:12
This, the story for Silver is absolutely incredible.
10:16
You know what, Before we go there, we're going to watch
10:18
something interesting that proves to you that people in the
10:22
United States have not woken up to what's going on with silver.
10:26
You may have woken up. And if you have and you want to
10:28
get your hands on some silver, please check out channel sponsor
10:32
First Met. I got a message from one of our
10:34
viewers just yesterday. I think I shared it even on the
10:37
timeline where he said the only regret I have about First meant
10:41
is that I hadn't learned about them earlier.
10:44
What a great company they are. The silver specialist meant OK
10:48
literally you get silver that goes from the mine to the meant
10:52
to you. They're located in the United
10:56
States in Las Vegas, NV. Unbelievable products.
11:00
Check them out for yourself. You'll experience what everyone
11:03
in the community is experiencing.
11:05
Great prices, great selection and great customer service.
11:10
And unbelievable like this, their year of the Horse round,
11:14
just unbelievable. The beer of the Buffalo round,
11:17
the year of the Dragon round. And they've got a special going
11:20
right now on their new Liberty bar, $2 off.
11:23
Check them out. Wow.
11:24
This says silver is up 67 cents. Whoa, that's good news.
11:30
You know what? Let's take a little detour.
11:32
Thank you First Men, for sponsoring Ron's basement.
11:35
Let's go out and check on the spot price of silver.
11:39
Unbelievable. Up $0.80 man, I tell you, do you
11:44
feel it like I do? The silver price is just seems
11:49
very healthy lately, very resilient, very strong, kind of
11:53
reminds me of that December through January time period.
11:57
But this time what we don't want to see happen is a big blow off
12:00
mania. We didn't have a squeeze.
12:02
We've not had a squeeze yet. We had a bit of a mania this
12:06
time. Right now that we've built this
12:08
incredible foundation and we stayed above what we talked
12:11
about $72.50 and built a huge solid foundation with the silver
12:17
price it's going to get. I think it's it's going to get
12:19
real interesting and when just a few more people wake up and join
12:24
us, it's going to be a wave of new money coming into the silver
12:28
market. This is from a while back, but I
12:31
love I want to share this with you.
12:33
This is the the typical standard Americans when offered a choice.
12:39
We'll watch just a few of these. Do you want a 10 oz.
12:42
Silver bar worth approximately $900?
12:45
Or do you want a Hershey's candy bar?
12:48
This is what we're dealing with in the United States.
12:51
It's your lucky day today. You win a free 10 oz silver bar,
12:56
pure silver bullion or a free Hershey's King size chocolate
13:01
bar. You'll take the chocolate bar.
13:04
Who needs the 10 oz bar silver? Have a good day, it's your
13:08
choice. This guy will do.
13:10
It a free 10 oz bar, a silver bullion or a free king size
13:15
Hershey bar? I think I'll take the Hershey
13:17
bar. Go ahead.
13:18
Oh my God, it's your lucky day. Just fresh out of the
13:20
refrigerator. Thank you.
13:22
Thank you very much. Who needs a 10 oz bar of silver
13:24
when you can have a good, delicious bar of chocolate?
13:26
Right. Yeah, exactly.
13:27
OK. All right, thank you.
13:28
Thank you. Rather have the Hershey bar than
13:31
the Silver bar. Yes, I would.
13:32
Oh, you would. OK.
13:33
The Hershey. Bar you eat it, eat the.
13:35
Silver bar. Yeah, that's right.
13:35
Can't. Even find somebody.
13:38
Just straight out of the fridge doesn't.
13:40
Seem real? Or a free silver bar.
13:45
It's 10 oz. It's a little tarnished.
13:48
Which one do you want? I.
13:51
Don't know. Go ahead.
13:55
Oh my gosh, OK, we we don't need to watch anymore.
13:58
I think that was from a few years ago.
14:00
But guys just reminded me of the fact that we are really in a
14:04
unique situation here in the United States.
14:06
We have so few people who really understand what the value of
14:10
gold and silver are. But that works in our benefit
14:13
because when those people in that video wake up, right, and
14:17
come into the silver market, again, the smallest increase in
14:21
interest, we saw that back in December and January, OK?
14:26
It creates like a mania within the silver and gold market.
14:30
We like to affectionately refer to those people as the the
14:36
sheeple and we'll welcome them with open arms.
14:39
OK, Let's talk about the godfather of gold, 17,250 gold.
14:45
Before we do that, let's talk about the Godfather son, Jesse
14:48
Colombo. Right?
14:51
That sounds like a mafia name almost.
14:53
Anyhow, Jesse Colombo, King World News reminded us that he
14:58
is projecting an unbelievable gold price, jaw-dropping 15 to
15:04
$20,000. Why do we listen to Jesse
15:07
Colombo? Because he is widely recognized
15:09
as one of the sharpest newer analyst within the precious
15:13
metal sector. His Bubble Bubble report is like
15:16
the leading Substack. You can check it out.
15:19
You can subscribe if you like, but Jesse has done some
15:22
incredible work in the precious metal sector.
15:25
Let's Scroll down here. He goes through all the
15:28
different reasons why gold is looking good, right?
15:31
The breakout of the wedge patterns, channel patterns talks
15:35
about overhead resistance, horizontal resistance in the
15:40
5000 zone and 5600 zone. But then Jesse sums it up with
15:45
this as a reminder, I believe gold is only about two years
15:51
into a secular bull market that should last at least a full
15:55
decade. That's like the second inning of
15:57
a nine inning baseball game, ultimately driving prices to at
16:01
least at least 15 to $20,000 per oz.
16:07
OK, that's Jesse Colombo, highly respected, highly regarded, at
16:12
least 15 to 20 K per oz for gold in the next 10 years.
16:17
Michael Oliver is a friendly reminder.
16:20
We get the says that silver may skyrocket 600% in a few months.
16:26
600 a few months is which mining stocks will also do very well
16:31
and to expect an explosive move in gold.
16:34
Also who is the godfather though?
16:37
The actual godfather of gold? Pierre Lassand, right?
16:42
Super respected guy. Franco, Nevada founder.
16:46
He's been in the gold and silver sector forever.
16:48
These aren't people who walked around for decades putting out
16:53
crazy high numbers for gold and silver.
16:56
But Pierre Lassand is now predicting 17 thousand $2250
17:02
gold. But the interesting part is when
17:05
he sees that coming. Let's go out and see what Pierre
17:08
has to say. This comes from Kitco and it's a
17:10
synopsis of an interview he did on there with Jeremy Safran.
17:15
He says the 40 trillion debt crisis is paving the way for
17:19
gold to reach 17,250 again. How soon Pierre, are you going
17:24
to tell U.S. financial architecture globally is
17:27
undergoing A structural transformation that positions
17:30
gold to reach $17,250 an ounce as it replaces the US dollar is
17:35
the currency of last reserve of last reserve.
17:39
The Co founder of Franco Nevada and former president of Newmont
17:43
Mining details a macroeconomic framework mirroring the
17:48
stagflationary era of the 70s, but warned that today's is
17:52
extreme leverage. 40 trillion in debt for the United States alone
17:58
makes the current cycle far more volatile.
18:03
OK. Lassan pointed to the late 70s
18:06
where gold saw a tenfold increase as inflation and
18:10
interest rates climbed simultaneously.
18:13
But this is interesting. The total debt in 1981, when
18:19
Reagan was first elected, was $1 trillion.
18:24
Today, that one trillion, that's the amount of money that the US
18:28
has to pay in interest alone every year because the total
18:34
debt is now approaching 40 trillion.
18:37
With the US budget deficit projected to exceed 8% of GDP,
18:41
Lasonde argued the Fed is effectively monetizing the debt
18:45
in printing dollars, providing a permanent tailwind for gold and
18:52
silver. OK, he says.
18:54
I reiterate that my $17,250 per oz gold price is as solid as can
19:02
be. And he added, I'm convinced we
19:07
will see this in the next three years.
19:11
OK. Thank you.
19:12
Pierre Lassand, look him up. Read about him.
19:16
If you don't know, you probably know who he is.
19:18
You're probably familiar with him.
19:19
He is the godfather of gold and silver.
19:23
And what he's talking about is quite simple.
19:26
I won't harp on it very long, but it's so key for us to
19:30
remember with the current financial situation in our
19:33
country, the Fed cannot raise rates.
19:35
Inflation is going through the roof.
19:38
As a matter of fact, we got PPI numbers this morning, the
19:42
producer price index, the wholesale inflation that are
19:45
indicating this is now just beginning.
19:48
Inflation will rule the day. the Fed doesn't need to raise rates.
19:52
the Fed can actually raise rates.
19:55
But if inflation continues to go higher, which it will, it will
19:59
be the dominant force which continues to to to provide an
20:04
unbelievable tailwind to the gold and silver market.
20:08
We got more good news, global ETF bond buying.
20:12
We're going to run through some quick data here from the Kobesi
20:16
letter. Global physical Goldback ETFs
20:20
posted 6.6 billion inflows in April.
20:25
OK, why is this a big deal? Because in, in March, there was
20:30
a $12 billion outflow that which was the largest withdrawal on
20:34
record. OK, now there's a couple reasons
20:37
why this is important. If we look back to March, which
20:42
you see here, the dark blue is North America.
20:46
Look at all the money that was taken out of the gold ETS, that
20:50
one outlier April, we went back to the positive, but barely any
20:55
coming from North America. The reason why we can be excited
20:59
about this guys, is because by most means and measures, the
21:03
overall sentiment in the precious metal sector in March
21:07
was completely in the gutter. OK, we can smile about that now.
21:12
It wasn't a lot of fun, no doubt about it, but we kept showing up
21:14
every day. But the good news is, from that
21:17
horrible sentiment, we can improve incredibly.
21:22
OK, Sentiment does not stay in the gutter.
21:24
Sentiment moves and cycles up and down and we saw that
21:28
happening and we're seeing it happen in the Comex.
21:31
But right now with open interest now starting to go up and
21:34
trading volume also starting to go up, which is being reflected
21:38
in more positive moves for both the metals, gold and silver.
21:43
Next we're going to look at some hatred on gold and silver from
21:47
CNBC. Before we do that, thank you to
21:49
1st Mining Gold for making this live stream possible, sponsoring
21:53
Ron's Basement. They're a Canadian gold
21:55
development stage company with two huge multi million ounce
21:59
projects. Big gold in the ground in
22:02
Canada, spring pole in Ontario, du parquet in Quebec.
22:06
There aren't a lot of big multi million ounce development stage
22:10
projects guys in great jurisdictions.
22:13
And 1st Mining Gold has two of them.
22:15
Let's go now. Learn more about First Mining
22:18
Gold at their website, firstmininggold.com.
22:21
Let's go see. Because we believe in fair and
22:24
balanced reporting, our friends at CNBC put out a little hatred
22:28
on gold and silver. This comes from their Fast Money
22:34
segment and they were talking about the gold mining stocks.
22:37
But two interesting things they say here that I don't agree
22:41
with. Let's see what your thoughts
22:43
are. All right, Carter.
22:52
Yeah, many things are. Yeah, 49 minutes of the show is
22:55
in the past. It was a great listen.
22:58
Valuations are not a problem, although it's more expensive
23:00
than a Newmont, for example. And that head and shoulders is
23:03
scary. That uptrend line looks
23:05
extraordinarily vulnerable. So I hear what he's saying.
23:07
And if rates continue to go higher here, that's going to be
23:10
a bit of a headwind for gold as well.
23:12
So unfortunately, I'm sort of with Carter on this one.
23:15
Yeah, Julie. Does gold have a place in your
23:17
portfolio? No, I mean, we just, we're
23:20
really not interested in things that don't cash flow and that's
23:23
always been a thing that that's sad.
23:25
I I love to wear it. So, you know, that's how it
23:27
shows up. Yeah, I love to wear it.
23:30
Did you hear how she said that she loves to wear it?
23:34
Gold doesn't cash flow. No, it doesn't cash flow, but
23:37
it's performed better than the S&P 500 over like what, the last
23:41
1020 even 30 years? Case closed.
23:45
Now, Guy Adami, who I like a lot, he brought up this point
23:48
that O gold's going to face headwinds because interest rates
23:51
are going up. Wrong guy.
23:53
Wrong. OK, As long as inflation goes up
23:57
faster than interest rates and interest rates probably aren't
24:00
going to go up. They may even go down and it
24:03
doesn't even matter. Interest rates in the Fed don't
24:05
matter anymore, guy, trust me. The the the, the best we could
24:10
hope for is that they cut interest rates by maybe one 2%
24:15
in an extreme scenario, which probably isn't going to happen.
24:18
What matters is inflation. Inflation, everything else is
24:23
now enslaved to inflation. There's no other way to say it.
24:27
And that will be what will drive the boat for gold and silver as
24:32
we move out. OK, now we got Deutsche Bank,
24:35
man. We got a lot more to cover,
24:36
guys. I'll, I'll do it as quickly as I
24:38
can because the world's biggest, not the world's, Germany's
24:42
biggest bank has something very interesting to say about gold
24:46
and a prediction. They had an article came out
24:48
that says return to history. And I love this because what
24:52
they're saying that gold is rapidly not claiming but
24:57
reclaiming its role is a primary reserve asset from the
25:02
weaponized U.S. dollar. Gold is reclaiming.
25:08
Gold never went anywhere. Gold has always been the world's
25:12
reserve asset. Why?
25:13
Why is why Deutsche Bank saying this again, Germany's biggest
25:17
bank, like 1.4 trillion in assets because of geopolitical
25:23
shifts. Now that I have the right screen
25:25
up the dollar, the dollar sharing global reserves has
25:32
changed from 60 to 40%. Gold's resurgence, Gold share of
25:37
central bank reserves has tripled from the low 30s.
25:40
OK, driven by EMS, the weaponization factor, Yes,
25:44
everybody knows they weaponized the dollar.
25:47
So people are afraid of the dollar, right?
25:49
People of countries like Russia, other countries are fear, are
25:52
afraid that if, oh, if we go against the US, they'll just
25:56
seize our dollars and price projections.
25:59
Here we go. Under a framework where emerging
26:02
market countries can target a 40% gold share, the authors
26:06
simulate potential gold prices rising as high as $8000 per oz.
26:15
Next, let's talk about this, which becomes even more
26:21
interesting. We're back to AI.
26:23
But this is interesting, right? The AI everybody's screaming
26:26
about a the great cash flow divergent from metals and
26:33
miners. Gold and silver miners hit all
26:36
time high free cash flow as big tech burns 715 billion on AI and
26:45
free cash flow always predicts predicts the next big bull
26:49
market this will bring. This is what we can expect in
26:52
the next 5 to 10 years. What they point out what the guy
26:56
earlier, what was his name? Oh shoot the guy.
27:01
Hold on one second. The guy the the the what was his
27:04
name? Darn it, hold on, I'm going to
27:05
pull it up. Visser, Jordy Visser, same thing
27:10
he said earlier, right? He's rotating out of AI.
27:13
This shows cash flow, hyperscaler, free cash flow,
27:17
margins. This is margins they're
27:19
generating on their free cash flow.
27:21
Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, right down the tubes guys.
27:25
While at the same time, the gold and silver miners are creating
27:31
record free cash flow as the general markets wake up and
27:35
start to move, rotate more and more capital.
27:38
Jordy Bisser is like the pioneer in doing this.
27:41
He's the AI guy who said bye bye AI, I'm going to go to silver.
27:46
He's not giving up on AI, but he's realizing that there's
27:50
something else going on that's critical to AI being successful.
27:54
And that would be silver is more and more people make that move.
27:59
It's going to bring more and more eyeballs into the precious
28:01
metal sector. Now, on top of that, I have a
28:04
degree in accounting. I actually work for a BIG4
28:06
accounting firm. At the end of the day, whether
28:09
you're talking about your personal finances, my personal
28:12
finances. All right.
28:17
OK, Thank you upstairs, Susie. OK, thank you upstairs, Susie.
28:22
The end at the end of the day, what matters is free cash flow.
28:28
You can do all types of accounting trickery.
28:30
Trust me, if you're a company, if you're a bank especially, you
28:34
can do all types of, of accruals and deferrals and I, I call it
28:39
Disneyland accounting. There's nothing that matters to
28:43
a business or to you or to me. Then cash flow in the mining
28:48
sector is generating unbelievable free cash flow.
28:52
A gold miner who can sell gold at 4007 $100 per oz that only
28:58
cost them $1700 per oz to dig up is generating $3000 per oz in
29:04
free cash flow. There is no other industry on
29:07
the face of the earth right now generating the amount of free
29:11
cash flow and profit like the mining sector and the general
29:16
markets will catch on to that and they're starting to catch on
29:20
to that. And when they do, it will bring
29:22
many, many more eyeballs back into the gold and silver sector.
29:27
All right, we got some quick warnings just to show how
29:29
screwed up things are out there and something very funny that
29:33
I'm going to share with you as well.
29:35
But guys, this is absolutely shocking, OK?
29:40
S&P 500 at all time highs, while U.S. consumer sentiment is at
29:44
all time lows. Look at this chart.
29:47
This is insane and proves that we really are living in
29:50
fantasyland. OK, the red line is consumer
29:53
sentiment way down here, OK, the white line, and it's even higher
29:59
now, is the S&P 500 something very?
30:04
Why is that a big deal? Because the United States
30:07
economy is a consumer driven economy.
30:10
It makes no sense. OK, And then we get this from
30:13
Kraft, you know the company Kraft.
30:16
Wait till you hear what their CEO had to say recently to tell
30:19
us about what's going on right now in the United States.
30:24
Kraft Heinz slashes prices as consumer affordability hits
30:28
breaking point. That's not it.
30:29
This is the interesting part in yellow.
30:31
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, their CEO said
30:36
packaged food companies strategy includes price cuts on items
30:40
that have become expensive, more promotions, new smaller packages
30:47
and lower prices shrink flation. Anyway, this is what's crazy, he
30:52
said. Quote in red.
30:55
Consumers are literally running out of money toward the end of
31:00
the month. Well, it's OK guys, get ready to
31:03
laugh because we can all move to Canada because in Canada this is
31:07
what you get when you go buy a porterhouse steak at the growth.
31:12
Those are the new smaller packages coming from Kraft.
31:18
There was something else. Oh, that what I wanted to point
31:21
out the reason I was showing this, right?
31:23
Yeah. The price of beef.
31:24
If you tried to buy a steak lately, well, guess what?
31:28
Think about it. The price of silver, right?
31:31
The dollar has not kept up with the price of beef.
31:34
The price of silver has kept up and then some.
31:39
Hold on. I have a quick drink of water.
31:45
OK, All right. And one, one final and then
31:47
we're going to get to the comments and the Super chats and
31:50
say thank you. One more incredible thing going
31:52
on right now that shows us things are not good out there in
31:58
the US economy. Uh oh.
32:00
Oh, Here we go. Well, we got two more.
32:02
Michael Bury. That's the guy who did the Big
32:05
Short. He's like the famous guy that
32:06
made a movie about him. He says the market today feels
32:09
like the last months of the 1999 to 2000 tech bubble.
32:14
I was around back then. I agree.
32:17
He's best known for predicting the US housing crash.
32:19
Said stocks are uh oh, uh oh. Hold on, guys.
32:25
Here we go. Are you looking at me?
32:28
There you go. All right, now we got him.
32:31
He says that stocks are no longer reacting.
32:34
Thank you, Susie. Logically to economic data,
32:37
stocks are not up or down because of jobs or consumer
32:41
sentiment, Bury wrote, feeling like the last couple months of
32:45
19992000. And he compared that to the
32:48
trajectory of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index.
32:52
Yeah, that is incredible. I looked it up.
32:55
It's the SOXX. It looks like a complete.
32:58
It looks like the silver price in January, which again, is why
33:03
we don't really want or need that silver price to go
33:06
parabolic. We're shooting for 85 or so.
33:09
One more piece of crazy news, The blue dot do you have?
33:13
Do you have the blue dot fever? What is blue dot fever?
33:18
It's play play plaguing musicians like Post Malone,
33:21
Meghan Trainer Zane as a growing list of artists cancel tours due
33:26
to lagging ticket sales. The Pussycat Dolls, where do
33:30
they get these names from? Are the latest music artists to
33:33
cancel swaths of US arena or stadium tours amid lagging
33:38
ticket sales. It's part of a spreading
33:40
epidemic the industry is calling blue dot fever after the blue
33:45
dots that represent unsold seats at the Ticket Masters website.
33:50
So things are not good out there.
33:52
Beware and please don't buy a porterhouse steak in Canada.
33:56
Oh, that was shared by one of our great basement dwellers,
33:59
Timothy Zoob. He sent me that picture.
34:01
And I also want to say thank you to Mr. M, who's another great
34:05
community member who provides us with a lot of the information
34:09
that I'm able to share. I appreciate when you guys send
34:12
me very interesting things. Let's go out and say thank you.
34:16
Oh, I forgot to beg you. Please subscribe to the channel
34:18
if you haven't already. Let's go out and look at the
34:21
comments. And we got a couple super chats,
34:24
this one from ZTKRC. Do you think we could see
34:29
another rotation out of crypto in the silver like we did in
34:33
October and January? Was that coincidence or is there
34:37
more to the story? Love the show.
34:39
I think that was more of coincidence.
34:42
I am of the firm belief. Look, I love silver, I love
34:45
gold. I also love crypto.
34:47
I am of the firm belief that all three silver, gold and crypto in
34:54
general can do very well and will do very well as we move
34:59
into the coming year and 10 years.
35:02
OK. So I don't think that it's there
35:04
were a lot of crypto people. I can tell you that from
35:07
experience that that became very interested in silver and gold
35:11
back around kind of the December to January time frame.
35:14
But there were also a lot of people that weren't in crypto
35:17
that also were new to gold and silver who came around.
35:21
I think this next wave, I think this neck, the big, I think the
35:25
biggest catalyst that will bring what will feel like a massive
35:31
amount of people into the gold and silver sector will be
35:34
inflation will be literally when you go to the gas station or you
35:39
go to the grocery store in a gallon of gas or a gallon of
35:42
milk cost $10. That's when people finally wake
35:47
up, right? I think people kind of dealt
35:49
with what happened in the post C-19 inflation wave 910% that we
35:55
got. But I think we're going to see
35:57
inflation coming like we, when you look at the energy crisis
36:01
going on and when you look at I won't go down this path too long
36:04
and you look at the fundamental fiscal and monetary situation in
36:09
the world, we got a Rep recipe for massive inflation and a
36:14
stagnant economy. It's going to be stag
36:17
hyperflation. I think we just invented a new
36:20
world. Thank you for the Super chat, my
36:22
friend, and thank you for your super chat.
36:26
Thank you upstairs, Susie. And here we go.
36:29
Got another super chat. Hold on, I can't love Ron's
36:33
basement. Hey, thank you.
36:34
Main coin and gold. Thank you, main coin and gold.
36:38
And I'm going to put you up on the up on the big screen.
36:40
You're famous on the Internet. We're all famous.
36:43
We love this guys. It's going to be such an
36:45
interesting journey. Think about the next 10 years
36:49
together, everything that's going to happen in the world,
36:53
but in particular with silver and gold.
36:56
I just think that we are in for some incredible times.
36:59
It's going to be turbulent at times, no doubt about it.
37:02
But I think we're going to be very happy that we did what we
37:05
did and on behalf of it, to honor you, Yeah, you, each and
37:09
everyone of you. Today, we're going to press that
37:11
subscribe button right now. That's all we ask.
37:14
Leave a comment, Press subscribe.
37:16
I'm going to ring the Golden gong 3 * 4.
37:20
Good luck. All right guys, have a great
37:25
day. Thanks for being with us down
37:27
here in the basement and we will look forward to seeing you.
37:31
Yes, you will see you soon. Bye bye.
