- 0:27Speaker 2: You need to break up with him. Please, give us
- 0:28Speaker 2: an update.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You have to break up with him. Do you want
- 0:30Speaker 1: to tell your children when they ask you, how did
- 0:32Speaker 1: you and dad meet? Oh, well, this happened, this happened,
- 0:35Speaker 1: this happened. No, you're going to fucking lie. You don't
- 0:37Speaker 1: want to lie about how you got with your fucking
- 0:39Speaker 1: future husband.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Relatable podcast is hosted by myself, Jay Craig, a.k.a.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Daddy.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And my partner in crime is Daddy Clark, a.k.a.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Mummy.
- 0:57Speaker 1: And you guys are the baddies because you're bad to
- 1:00Speaker 1: the bone, both men and women alike.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Have you noticed?
- 1:02Speaker 1: Trying to be more inclusive of the men lately.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Oh, shit. Nah, fuck them.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Have you noticed that we just start saying that really
- 1:10Speaker 2: quickly now?
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well, it's because it's just fully... You don't think about
- 1:14Speaker 1: it anymore.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Yeah, true.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I wonder if any of the baddies, like, just... We
- 1:17Speaker 1: were told actually by... Who was it? Lucy and Nikki.
- 1:21Speaker 1: They have an intro they do and they don't, it's
- 1:22Speaker 1: not an intro that's like, they just filmed two years
- 1:25Speaker 1: ago and use every day. They use, they say it
- 1:27Speaker 1: every time. They said, anytime they do a live show,
- 1:29Speaker 1: they'll be like, anybody want to do the intro for us?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Whole crowd does the intro word for word.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 1: And they could do ours.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 2: It was like, they had like a little spill. I
- 1:36Speaker 2: was just like, Jake, the related podcast is hosted by myself.
- 1:39Speaker 4: True.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Ours is probably easier.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Yeah. True.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But, Darcy's in the studio again. She's sleeping on my lap.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I have something embarrassing to, to admit to everyone.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So, I am here, right?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Anyway, I'm here and I am here from the Gold
- 2:04Speaker 1: Coast for a week on the Central Coast.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It took you so long to stop saying that. Sorry,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I was looking at my phone. I am here. I
- 2:11Speaker 2: was trying to look at my phone. I'm glad you're
- 2:14Speaker 2: here with me. I was trying to look at my
- 2:16Speaker 2: phone and multitask. Clearly, men can't do that. But- So,
- 2:19Speaker 2: I'm here for a week.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I'm staying in Sydney with best parents, but I'm... Anyway, we,
- 2:25Speaker 1: this week, were actually supposed to do a podcast swap
- 2:27Speaker 1: with You Wouldn't.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Right? And so, we were going to do it ages ago.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And then, Odi and I were going away, and they
- 2:33Speaker 1: were going on tour. It didn't work out. I, like,
- 2:35Speaker 1: got Pat Clifton's, like, number. So, I've got his number, right?
- 2:38Speaker 1: And blah, blah, blah.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It didn't work out.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And so, then, when I get home from Canada, I
- 2:43Speaker 1: message him again.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And he's like... I said.
- 2:47Speaker 1: One thing that would work for us is we're end
- 2:49Speaker 1: of September. We're in Sydney for a full week. He goes, actually,
- 2:52Speaker 1: that would work out well. We'll be in Sydney that
- 2:54Speaker 1: week too. And so we're going to go to their
- 2:56Speaker 1: studio to do it. And so then we left it
- 2:58Speaker 1: at that. We'd just been like, and I was like, cool.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I was like, I'll touch base near it because he
- 3:01Speaker 1: goes like, yeah, we're pretty loose and fast or whatever,
- 3:04Speaker 1: fast and loose. Like we can just, you know, they
- 3:06Speaker 1: record like 6 p.m.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Or some shit sometimes.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And so I actually in Canada started listening to their
- 3:12Speaker 1: podcast and really enjoying it. kept listening to the podcast
- 3:17Speaker 1: when I got home, send him that text message. And
- 3:19Speaker 1: then they do an episode where they talk about how
- 3:21Speaker 1: they're going to leave the company they're with and start
- 3:24Speaker 1: their own. So I was like, Oh, hectic, great time
- 3:26Speaker 1: to touch base. I send Pat a voice message. I
- 3:30Speaker 1: just said like, congrats on starting the new thing. Like
- 3:33Speaker 1: they said they were scared, you know, in the episode,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I was like, it's going to be scary, but I
- 3:35Speaker 1: think it's gonna be fucking hectic, like happy for you guys.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And then I said, you guys still good to do
- 3:41Speaker 1: the fucking pod swap.
- 3:43Speaker 2: At the end of September. And then he read it,
- 3:48Speaker 2: kept the voice message and hasn't responded. He kept it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It says in our text, Jay.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It says, Pat Clifton, you wouldn't kept an audio message
- 3:58Speaker 1: from you. And so he just fucking obviously was like,
- 4:02Speaker 1: fuck this guy.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And so here's my thing is what I'm overthinking, right?
- 4:05Speaker 2: So number one is.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I have voice messaged him before. And I said, sorry,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I'm a voice message guy. And then he goes, no, actually,
- 4:12Speaker 1: fuck it. I kind of like voice messages. But then
- 4:15Speaker 1: I get his number. We texted back and forth a bit.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And so on their podcast, they call him P.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Clitty.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Right.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And so I started the voice message.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I was like, yo, P. Clitty.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And then I said, sorry if that's weird, but I've
- 4:27Speaker 1: been listening to the pod. And then I went on
- 4:30Speaker 1: with my voice message. And I was thinking, did this.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Guy just be like, fuck, this guy's a weirdo. Such
- 4:34Speaker 2: a fanboy. Fuck him. And then he's just like.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Because I was keen as for it, especially since I've
- 4:40Speaker 1: been listening and enjoying their part.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I was like, fuck, I'm actually really keen for this.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I'm thinking like maybe. I was going to say he
- 4:48Speaker 2: was so gassed up by your message. Hopefully. When I
- 4:52Speaker 2: was smiling and he forgot to reply. Hopefully. But yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 2: he hasn't responded. I guess this is the call out
- 4:59Speaker 2: to you wouldn't reply to Jake. Please reply to me.
- 5:03Speaker 2: At least tell me you just don't want to do it.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I was like, no.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And I was so annoyed because I was like, I
- 5:11Speaker 1: sent the voice message and I expected a reply maybe
- 5:13Speaker 1: within the day.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, I waited a couple of days and
- 5:16Speaker 2: I was like, no. He's definitely just forgotten that.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 2: He's completely forgotten about it. Mustn't be very important to him.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Oh, that is funny though.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Oh.
- 5:26Speaker 2: So I've just been humbled.
- 5:27Speaker 4: All right.
- 5:27Speaker 2: So to start the episode, Jake.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 2: After that, a nice little white lie would have gone
- 5:33Speaker 2: a long way from Pat Clifton. Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Like, sorry, boys.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Busy. Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You know? Just busy. Starting the new business, starting the
- 5:39Speaker 2: new studio would have been great.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I would have believed it. I would have said, mate, valid.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Can't make it work. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Valid.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I'll hit you up next year. Jake's emotions saved.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Pat's winning. Right now, we're just in limbo. We don't
- 5:50Speaker 2: know what to do.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Oh, he hasn't fucking said a thing.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Can't believe it. So, we thought we could come
- 5:57Speaker 2: to the table with When would it be.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Appropriate to tell a white lie? Oh, you want to
- 6:01Speaker 1: know what's worse, actually, to add to that? I followed
- 6:04Speaker 1: him on Instagram recently, and he followed me back.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Mate, you're a fucking stalker, right? You need to chill.
- 6:08Speaker 1: No, well, it came up.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It was just on, like, suggested people, so I was like,
- 6:12Speaker 1: fuck it off, he follows me back. You'd think he
- 6:15Speaker 1: would have put face to name, name to face, and thought, fuck,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I never replied to that guy.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But he didn't they would 100% look us up before
- 6:23Speaker 2: they said yeah initially oh.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah yeah we know who we are but like you'd
- 6:27Speaker 1: think after I follow him and he follows me back
- 6:29Speaker 1: he'd think fuck I didn't reply to that guy.
- 6:31Speaker 2: You're in your own head eh well what's going on
- 6:34Speaker 2: you've been dating for too long I'm not dating this
- 6:37Speaker 2: is just close to dating I'm getting that's what I
- 6:39Speaker 2: mean oh you haven't been dating for too long you
- 6:41Speaker 2: haven't been dating for so long they're like this is
- 6:43Speaker 2: your spiral now your version of like what dating would
- 6:46Speaker 2: be like.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna post this as a clip and fucking request
- 6:48Speaker 1: to collab post.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It with him eh You're like stalking a mate.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Oh, fuck.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Now they're playing hard to get.
- 6:58Speaker 4: That's what it is.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not. Hey, I'm all about not playing hard
- 7:02Speaker 2: to get. You're playing needy.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking oath I am.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Please, Pat, go on a date with me. Please, Pat,
- 7:07Speaker 2: I want to fucking hang out with you so bad.
- 7:10Speaker 2: We'd be best friends, I bet. Pete Clitty, I'm fucking D-Diddy.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Oh, fuck.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Anyway. We thought we could come to the table with
- 7:23Speaker 2: when is it appropriate to tell a white lie? How
- 7:27Speaker 2: many you got? Four. I got four or maybe five too.
- 7:31Speaker 2: One wasn't that good, but you want to go first
- 7:32Speaker 2: on me? Do your bad one first if one's not
- 7:34Speaker 2: that good. Like bad as in meaning it's a bad
- 7:37Speaker 2: lie or bad?
- 7:39Speaker 1: No, just one you said that wasn't that good.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Oh, one that wasn't that good was like, would you
- 7:42Speaker 2: still love me if I went bald? And you just... Yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 2: you got to say yeah. Your partner's got to say yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 2: That was like... Just wasn't that good. I thought that
- 7:50Speaker 2: was an appropriate time to tell a white lie.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Well, the funny thing is... Yeah, it's an appropriate time
- 7:54Speaker 1: to tell a white lie.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 2: And look, I actually.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You know, they would.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Still love you. Surely. What's Beth say? Because I said
- 8:01Speaker 2: to Beth... Actually, I don't know. I'm starting to not
- 8:03Speaker 2: believe that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I said to Beth the other day, I was like.
- 8:07Speaker 2: If I shave.
- 8:08Speaker 1: My head, I'll see my receding hairline more. And maybe
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'll do something about it.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And then she goes.
- 8:17Speaker 1: She goes nah i don't think that's gonna work if
- 8:19Speaker 1: you wanted to you would you won't do it you
- 8:21Speaker 1: still just won't do.
- 8:22Speaker 2: It yeah now your lucky hat exists.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Because she goes she's like if you you've got dry
- 8:27Speaker 1: she actually hits me with a fucking another insult she
- 8:29Speaker 1: goes your skin's super dry and you do nothing about
- 8:31Speaker 1: that i was like okay shots fine Fucking bitch.
- 8:38Speaker 2: All right. Girls like triple down. We're talking about my hairline,
- 8:42Speaker 2: not my face. For fuck's sake. Don't let me come
- 8:45Speaker 2: at you with your fucking imperfections. Me and Cassie were
- 8:47Speaker 2: having a disagreement. She doesn't like to call them an argument.
- 8:50Speaker 2: And we're talking about one thing. It had to do
- 8:52Speaker 2: with like me being really tired. And then she threw
- 8:55Speaker 2: something else at me that had nothing to do with
- 8:56Speaker 2: me being tired. I'm like, fuck, you want to say
- 8:59Speaker 2: anything else? Fucking let it all out while you're at it, hey?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. She slipped a few things under the rug.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 2: That was obviously fucking building up. Okay, here's a moment
- 9:12Speaker 2: that I think a little white lie would be appropriate.
- 9:16Speaker 1: When I know I didn't perform my best, I still
- 9:18Speaker 1: like to ask Beth if it was good for her,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and I fully expect her to just say yes.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You want a white lie? Yeah. You don't want the truth?
- 9:27Speaker 2: Give me a little white lie.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Cause if I have to, if I'm asking, if I'm asking,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I know that it's bad.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Oh no.
- 9:34Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? So if I need to ask.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Was that good?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Usually, you know, if it was good or not, if
- 9:40Speaker 2: I need to ask, was that good?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I'm expecting a little.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 1: That was good.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Keep it up pal. I suppose it's that confidence thing. Like,
- 9:48Speaker 2: you know, that was shit, but yeah. Gas me up
- 9:50Speaker 2: so I can do better. That's exactly what I'm saying.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Give me a placebo. I see what you're thinking now.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Yeah. I like it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Okay. So, um this is when you have to tell
- 9:59Speaker 2: a white lie one of your mates or family friend
- 10:02Speaker 2: or someone's had a baby baby's not good looking oh
- 10:05Speaker 2: you have to say it's cute.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You know what's so funny is the our friends that
- 10:11Speaker 1: had a kid recently when i went and met him
- 10:14Speaker 1: i did say like They're cute. Their baby is so cute.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I was like, genuinely, I think all babies are ugly.
- 10:20Speaker 1: This motherfucker's cute.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So I said, look, I would have been honest. I
- 10:24Speaker 1: would have been like, look, your baby's kind of ugly,
- 10:25Speaker 1: but he's cute.
- 10:26Speaker 2: You wouldn't have said that. Nah, that's a good point.
- 10:27Speaker 2: There's no way.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I like to think I would say it.
- 10:29Speaker 2: No, you can't say it. Biggest fear?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Biggest fear.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Having an ugly baby?
- 10:33Speaker 1: My baby comes out fucking fugly.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm scared, eh?
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm terrified of that.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I was thinking about this, actually. I was a cute baby,
- 10:42Speaker 2: ugly teenager.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So I'm hoping that one- Ugly baby- good teenager you want.
- 10:48Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I reckon I still want, fuck the teenager. Everyone goes
- 10:50Speaker 2: through shit then. And like, by then, like, I won't
- 10:53Speaker 2: love him as much. Bro, I'm telling you, if my.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Baby's ugly, I'm going to be very honest.
- 10:59Speaker 2: What, to him or her? To him, yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I'm going to be like, you as a baby? I
- 11:06Speaker 1: saw photos of Joanna, my older sister, when she was
- 11:09Speaker 1: a baby. So when she was first born, quite small,
- 11:12Speaker 1: she was.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Average, normal weight.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I was actually born huge very fat baby i was
- 11:17Speaker 1: like 10 pounds something ounces which is apparently huge but
- 11:21Speaker 1: joanna after for some reason four months she just was
- 11:27Speaker 1: hands down the fattest thing you've ever seen in your
- 11:30Speaker 1: life it's the i actually need i'm gonna ask you
- 11:33Speaker 1: to send me a photo of it because you're gonna
- 11:35Speaker 1: look at it and you're not gonna believe it you're
- 11:36Speaker 1: gonna think it's ai Dead fucking said you're going to
- 11:39Speaker 1: think it's AI.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Is it like fat concerning or like when they go
- 11:41Speaker 2: like Michelin man? No, proper Michelin.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I love that part.
- 11:44Speaker 2: It's like- I love that.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Dude, no. I'm telling you right now, she looks like
- 11:48Speaker 1: she got stung by 50 bees.
- 11:49Speaker 2: It's insane. I love a Michelin man, baby.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Really? Yes.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I don't know how it happens. The cheeks are so chubby.
- 11:58Speaker 2: She actually may have- Like their wrists have like a
- 12:00Speaker 2: little line around them because they're so chubby. Dude, it
- 12:02Speaker 2: looks like they're wearing a string around their wrists. Yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 2: I love that. I love that shit. Let me see
- 12:08Speaker 2: if she sent me a photo of it. She probably hasn't.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Nah.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So fucking funny though, bro. Honestly, it's, yeah. Do you
- 12:15Speaker 1: want to see? Oh, here's me as a baby.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Do you want to see me?
- 12:17Speaker 4: Nah, bro.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Is this me?
- 12:19Speaker 2: I've seen, I just need to look at a picture
- 12:20Speaker 2: of myself and your dad said we're the same. Mate,
- 12:23Speaker 2: I was an ugly kid. Weird looking nose. Your nose
- 12:26Speaker 2: like went up until now it's out. Is that me?
- 12:29Speaker 2: I don't even know if that's me or not. That's
- 12:32Speaker 2: a very different nose, eh? Like your nose is skinny
- 12:35Speaker 2: and pointy. Bro, is that you? That nose is like up. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 2: that's me.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I can't tell.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's me. I don't know. We've told on the
- 12:43Speaker 2: pod before, there was a photo of me when Jake
- 12:45Speaker 2: and I used to live together on his fridge and
- 12:47Speaker 2: I was like four.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And Jake's dad came over. Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So, when Joanna moved in with me, she's like, why
- 12:55Speaker 1: have you got a photo of yourself on the fridge?
- 12:56Speaker 1: And I said, that's Oddie. She goes, no, it's not.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, his mom gave it to him
- 13:02Speaker 1: and that's Oddie. She goes, no, no, no. And then
- 13:04Speaker 1: a couple weeks later, she said, dad was here. I
- 13:07Speaker 1: asked him, is that Jake or Oddie? And he goes,
- 13:10Speaker 1: that's Jake.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I was like, you're kidding. You fucking dumbass. Are you serious?
- 13:14Speaker 1: For fuck's sakes, bro.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It shows how much parents fucking look at their kids. Honestly,
- 13:20Speaker 2: I don't even think it looks like me. It actually
- 13:23Speaker 2: looks like you. But you used to have blonde hair.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I had blonde hair when I was younger. Funny, which
- 13:27Speaker 2: I miss.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I actually, I was born with black hair and then
- 13:31Speaker 1: I went blonde.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Oh, you went opposite to me. That's great, right?
- 13:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 2: All right. Is it my turn or your turn? No,
- 13:37Speaker 2: you're going to nowhere.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Hey, listen here, cunt. I'm going to get a fucking...
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'm going to go to Joel Creasy's hair transplant, guy.
- 13:49Speaker 4: 20 grand?
- 13:50Speaker 2: Mate, I'm going to.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Hit him up.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Bro, Turkey's cool. Go there.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I'm not flying to Turkey for a hair transplant.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It's a good start.
- 13:56Speaker 1: The only time I would do a hair transplant in
- 13:58Speaker 1: Turkey is if I'm in Europe for a trip. Finish
- 14:01Speaker 1: that motherfucker off in Turkey and fly home from there. True,
- 14:04Speaker 1: but like- I'm not going to- What is it?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Fucking 20 hours?
- 14:07Speaker 1: 19.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Brand transplant? Yeah, 19.
- 14:11Speaker 4: What am I doing?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Saving 10 grand? That's a lot of money, but fuck.
- 14:14Speaker 2: 10 grand. It's all inclusive. It's like an experience.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I don't want to- It's like a spa day.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Brandy or what?
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'll go with you.
- 14:23Speaker 1: If we got a brandy, I'd do 100%.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah. It's free. Should we get a brandy or- Hair
- 14:26Speaker 2: transplant on my beard. Imagine if you could. Can you? Surely.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It looks sus, but I reckon.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I wish.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Imagine being one of those people who gets a hair
- 14:35Speaker 2: transplant and it doesn't work. Like it doesn't take. Oh,
- 14:38Speaker 2: biggest fear.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Biggest fear. You'd have to just live with it then.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Spoke to a barber recently and I was like saying, yeah,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I probably need a hair transplant. He goes, nah, fuck that.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Like everyone gets hair transplants.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It's like, it's too perfect. It's too this, like having
- 14:50Speaker 1: a bit of a widow's peak. It's like natural.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And he had a widow's peak and I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 2: A couple of bros just, you know, being like, yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 2: gaslighting ourselves. I'll tell you what you should do. I
- 14:59Speaker 2: would do this maybe. Cheaper option and I reckon it's cool.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Tattoo the hairline on and like a couple of tattoos
- 15:06Speaker 2: around the ear and chin. So like where your widow
- 15:08Speaker 2: peak is, you just get black tattoos.
- 15:10Speaker 1: But then I always have to shave my head.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So I'm pretty much bald, but I have like, it
- 15:13Speaker 1: looks like I have a little bit of hair.
- 15:13Speaker 2: If you're losing the hair anyway, you have to shave it.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But that's a cooler option, I reckon.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I was going to go full Jude Law with this
- 15:18Speaker 1: shit if I never got a transplant though.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You like to look at Jude Law.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Well, bro, that motherfucker pulls it off. You've seen a
- 15:23Speaker 1: photo of him, right?
- 15:24Speaker 2: We saw him in LA. Yeah, bro. Wait, short. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Jude Law's fucking hairlines are so shit.
- 15:31Speaker 2: You reckon he rocks that?
- 15:32Speaker 1: But this motherfucker, like, pulls it off. Look, he just
- 15:34Speaker 1: rocks it, bro.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Fair. I reckon he rocks it. Even from, like, a
- 15:38Speaker 2: young age, he had it. That's better.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You actually kind of look like Jude Law.
- 15:42Speaker 1: One time I used to work with someone.
- 15:43Speaker 2: This is before I knew who Jude Law was.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I used to work with someone at a bar, and
- 15:47Speaker 1: she goes, you look like Jude Law, eh?
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And I was like, is that a compliment? And she
- 15:51Speaker 1: was like, I don't know. Went and looked him up.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And I was like, fuck.
- 15:57Speaker 6: You.
- 15:57Speaker 1: To be fair, Hollywood heartthrob when he was young.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Oh, look at him when he's young, bro. Trying to
- 16:02Speaker 2: hide that shit. He was quite cute. Good looking bloke. Anywho,
- 16:07Speaker 2: my turn. Little white lies.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Times that little white lies are appropriate. Sometimes I tell
- 16:16Speaker 1: Beth that I forget something in the house. But I
- 16:19Speaker 1: actually just run upstairs and do a quick poo.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Oh, do you actually?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, because she gets mad at me when I have
- 16:24Speaker 1: to poo.
- 16:25Speaker 3: What?
- 16:25Speaker 1: If we have to leave, she goes, and I'm like, oh, quick,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I need to poo. She goes, Jake, you've had all
- 16:28Speaker 1: this fucking time.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Oh, I get it.
- 16:30Speaker 2: So I'm kind of like valid. I get what you mean.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm kind of like valid, but so I'll be like,
- 16:34Speaker 1: oh shit, I forgot something.
- 16:36Speaker 2: But you poop like for a long time or do
- 16:38Speaker 2: you squeeze it out?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh, I'll rush this one out. Mate, I'll be pushing
- 16:41Speaker 1: so hard and my hernia's coming.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I thought you meant like you're in your house and
- 16:45Speaker 2: then you go to your parents' house because like, oh,
- 16:47Speaker 2: I forgot something out there. You go take a shit.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Because she doesn't like the smell. No, she's in the car.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I get you now.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And I go, oh, shit, picky.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I forgot something. Run upstairs, take a shit. And then
- 17:01Speaker 2: she'll text me.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Mr.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Piggy, hurry up. Are you pooping?
- 17:05Speaker 1: And then I was like, yeah.
- 17:07Speaker 2: You should take a photo of him and be like, no.
- 17:09Speaker 2: You tell me. You tell me. This one's for all
- 17:15Speaker 2: the ladies out there. Your partner's just started going to
- 17:18Speaker 2: the gym or has been going for a while or
- 17:20Speaker 2: any period of time, to be honest. And he's like
- 17:23Speaker 2: looking in the mirror at himself and he goes.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Do you reckon I've got bigger?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Have to lie. Really? I reckon have to lie.
- 17:28Speaker 4: I agree.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Guess him up. Feel that ego a little bit.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I feel like actually.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But if you tell the truth, is he going to
- 17:36Speaker 1: be more motivated to get big?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like, oh, it's working. I'll keep going.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Also, maybe if you lie, he thinks it's working, so
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'll keep going.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah. But true, then you might be feeding his poor
- 17:47Speaker 2: workout routine. The deluge. Maybe.
- 17:51Speaker 1: No, look, I save his feelings a bit.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I ask Cassie a fair bit to feel my arms.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Because I like it.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Because it's so hard. I was like, damn, that was good.
- 18:00Speaker 2: That was fucking good, eh? Shut up, eh? What? It
- 18:04Speaker 2: made me feel good. Shut the fuck up. Do you
- 18:06Speaker 2: want to feel them?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Nope.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Feel if they're hard. Actually, tell me if she's telling
- 18:10Speaker 2: the truth. No white lies or lying. You have to
- 18:13Speaker 2: tell the truth. That's pretty soft, mate. See, that was
- 18:19Speaker 2: an appropriate white lie to keep you humble. Sometimes. Sometimes.
- 18:24Speaker 1: If Beth stinks like BO, I don't tell her.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She works outside and walks dogs and shit. Sometimes I'm like,
- 18:36Speaker 2: was it you or? No, it was you. You like
- 18:39Speaker 2: had the biggest, like you didn't mean it. You're like,
- 18:41Speaker 2: you said something once like, oh yeah, Odi's more smelly
- 18:44Speaker 2: than me or something. You are.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You're smellier than me.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I can say it to you. You said it in
- 18:51Speaker 2: like a weird... I can't remember what the context was.
- 18:52Speaker 2: You go, oh yeah, he's just smellier than me. I
- 18:54Speaker 2: was like, what? You are.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 19:00Speaker 2: That one's funny. When someone gets a new tattoo... And
- 19:04Speaker 2: it's on their body for life.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Or you have to say it's good.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, fuck, that is sick. Yeah, nice one.
- 19:09Speaker 1: They spent $ 1, 200.
- 19:09Speaker 2: They were there all day. That's fucking hectic. Bro, I
- 19:12Speaker 2: love that sleeve. Hectic, bro. That wolf and clock go
- 19:16Speaker 2: together like bread and butter.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Fucking, you know, parents or family members, they'll ask me
- 19:20Speaker 1: about tattoos, you know.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Boom, boom, what does it mean?
- 19:23Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, nothing, nothing. And they're kind of like, nice, nice.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And I know for a fact that that's just like
- 19:28Speaker 1: a translation for that sucks.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 2: What the fuck are you doing? I hate the one
- 19:33Speaker 2: where they're like, oh, what does it mean? Because a
- 19:35Speaker 2: lot of mine do have meanings, but I'm just like, oh,
- 19:37Speaker 2: it's like the way it looks.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes explaining the meaning is like, you don't.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Feel like doing it. Maybe we should come up with
- 19:42Speaker 2: something crazy. Like I don't know.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Or anytime someone asks, could be an auntie, could be,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I don't know, could be a fucking someone, could be
- 19:53Speaker 1: our manager, just anyone, girlfriends, parents. Someone goes, oh, is
- 19:57Speaker 1: that a new tattoo? I haven't seen that tattoo. What's
- 19:59Speaker 1: that one for?
- 19:59Speaker 2: She'll be like, it's for you. That's actually not bad.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It's for you. It's for you.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And you know, never told you, I got one more
- 20:09Speaker 1: and that is appropriate times to tell a white lie
- 20:12Speaker 1: if someone gets a bad haircut yes you have to
- 20:16Speaker 1: have to have to.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Say no no it looks good yeah both genders too
- 20:21Speaker 2: yeah yeah yeah no no it looks good looks good 100% a.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Race actually a couple months ago beth goes and gets
- 20:26Speaker 1: her hair done right it's like one of those times
- 20:28Speaker 1: where it's 600 bucks.
- 20:29Speaker 2: One of those times every time for a girl it's so.
- 20:31Speaker 1: True um she gets a trim and you know the
- 20:34Speaker 1: coloring the toning whatever it is that takes all that
- 20:36Speaker 1: time she comes home She realizes, I shit you not,
- 20:41Speaker 1: there's a part of her hair. So her hair's down
- 20:43Speaker 1: past her shoulders. There's a part of her hair where
- 20:46Speaker 1: whoever was cutting her hair accidentally chopped it up like
- 20:50Speaker 1: real high. And so she must've tried to blend it
- 20:52Speaker 1: a bit, but Beth noticed it. One of her friends
- 20:54Speaker 1: maybe noticed it in the mirror. And so then when you,
- 20:58Speaker 1: there was a specific way she styled it and you
- 21:00Speaker 1: could see that it was short. And I was like,
- 21:02Speaker 1: what the fuck? And so she messaged him and I
- 21:05Speaker 1: don't know what ended up happening. I think she might've
- 21:07Speaker 1: got a bit of money back. I'm not entirely sure.
- 21:09Speaker 1: But next time, she just went and got her hair
- 21:12Speaker 1: done recently and she had to get it coloured in
- 21:13Speaker 1: a way where it's not noticeable. To be fair, to
- 21:16Speaker 1: be fair, I hadn't, ever since she pointed it out,
- 21:19Speaker 1: it's not something I had noticed. So it's like, it
- 21:21Speaker 1: was okay, but also how fucked is that from a
- 21:23Speaker 1: hairdresser charging like 600 bucks?
- 21:24Speaker 2: It must happen all the time though. That's crazy. I've
- 21:28Speaker 2: seen TikToks before, especially the colour, that's like being a scientist.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 2: And sometimes it just doesn't work and then they're leaving
- 21:34Speaker 2: here with pictures and they want to be blonde and
- 21:36Speaker 2: it's like fucking not that. That's awesome. I got my
- 21:40Speaker 2: hair cut. I'm not a fan of this.
- 21:41Speaker 4: One, eh?
- 21:42Speaker 2: When did you get it done? Like on Saturday. Didn't
- 21:46Speaker 2: even say anything, you dog. Didn't even notice, mate. I
- 21:48Speaker 2: don't like it. It's too long on the top. How
- 21:50Speaker 2: it flips over. Need to taper it in. I don't
- 21:52Speaker 2: like it. I'll get another one. I like the back.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I reckon the back looks good.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Wait, if you cut your hair, bud, isn't that going
- 21:57Speaker 1: to make your perm go away?
- 21:58Speaker 4: No. No.
- 22:00Speaker 1: You're cutting what's permed off. Yeah, but like- The hair
- 22:03Speaker 1: coming through from the bottom- I've got to cut my hair, Bart.
- 22:04Speaker 1: But the hair coming through from the bottom is going
- 22:06Speaker 1: to be just your back to your natural straight hair.
- 22:08Speaker 2: It's still curly in that. You should have grown it
- 22:10Speaker 2: out of it with the perm and kept permanent, bro.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I'm going to perm it in Bali when it's cheaper.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Oh, you're going to get a perm there?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know if I will. I'm a perm boy.
- 22:17Speaker 2: That's me. I'm a perm boy.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Baddies. You know what time it is. We've been doing
- 22:28Speaker 1: this for a couple of weeks now, and that is
- 22:29Speaker 1: our segment that we brought in where we talk about
- 22:32Speaker 1: nostalgic things while eating a nostalgic food.
- 22:36Speaker 2: And that food being Krispy Kreme donuts. Of course.
- 22:39Speaker 1: There's nothing better and nothing more nostalgic than walking into
- 22:42Speaker 1: a Krispy Kreme, smelling the freshly baked fucking delicious glazed donuts,
- 22:49Speaker 1: or whatever your favorite is.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Take a pick. I'm going to go for a little
- 22:52Speaker 2: chalky one. I'm going to go original glazed, I think.
- 22:56Speaker 4: You can't beat it, honestly.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I agree. Can't beat it. But what are we talking
- 23:01Speaker 1: about today, Odi?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Today, we're going to talk about road trips. Do you
- 23:06Speaker 2: have any sort of nostalgic road trips when you were
- 23:09Speaker 2: younger that you did maybe when you first got your
- 23:12Speaker 2: P's or when you were with your family when you
- 23:14Speaker 2: were younger?
- 23:14Speaker 1: I actually think, okay, I have one with my family,
- 23:17Speaker 1: but I think I might talk about one from when
- 23:18Speaker 1: we were maybe like 18.
- 23:22Speaker 4: And I.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Want to say, From about 18, when our friend group
- 23:28Speaker 1: really sort of like, maybe, yeah, 18, when our friend
- 23:30Speaker 1: group sort of formed and then for like a good
- 23:35Speaker 1: two or three years, I remember we would all randomly
- 23:38Speaker 1: be like, let's go to Crescent Head this weekend. Four
- 23:40Speaker 1: hour drive from us, right?
- 23:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Or we would go to Crescent Head, maybe somewhere in
- 23:44Speaker 1: between Crescent Head. Sometimes if it was a shorter trip,
- 23:46Speaker 1: it would be like a little spontaneous Seal Rocks trip.
- 23:48Speaker 1: You know, shout out Seal Rocks, shout out Crescent Head.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Those places are awesome.
- 23:51Speaker 1: But no matter what, I remember we would always either
- 23:54Speaker 1: drive in two cars or one car, depending on how
- 23:56Speaker 1: many people were going. And we would always stop at
- 23:59Speaker 1: Buller Dealer.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 24:00Speaker 1: And we would go there. And at Buller Dealer, small
- 24:03Speaker 1: little town, right? It's just off the freeway, small little town.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And there is a pub.
- 24:10Speaker 2: This pub, bro. This was our fucking place.
- 24:13Speaker 4: It was.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You go, sit in the back. We would always go
- 24:16Speaker 1: around lunchtime. And then it's just rolling hills. I remember
- 24:20Speaker 1: everyone was just like, first time we went there, We're like,
- 24:22Speaker 1: let's just stop here. We'll get a feed. Lunchtime before
- 24:25Speaker 1: we get to Crescent Head.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Blah, blah, blah.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And then we're like, what the hell? This place is magnificent.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I don't know why we never ended up just like
- 24:31Speaker 1: camping there for a few days.
- 24:32Speaker 2: There's literally... We wanted beach, that's why. Yeah, but there's
- 24:34Speaker 2: a campsite on the back of the pub.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Literally.
- 24:37Speaker 2: And everyone goes there and stops there. It's so convenient.
- 24:39Speaker 2: And land's really cheap there. How come we should buy
- 24:40Speaker 2: there just for fun? I've thought about that. You can
- 24:42Speaker 2: get like fucking 40 acres for like $ 250, 000.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Why not?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Why not?
- 24:48Speaker 2: I suppose it's inland.
- 24:49Speaker 1: If you build a little house on it, does it
- 24:50Speaker 1: just go off in price heaps or no?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Nah, I don't know. It probably will. I mean, like,
- 24:54Speaker 2: there's nothing to do with this. The Hexen Bypass, mate,
- 24:57Speaker 2: probably increases the value of that place. You could live
- 25:01Speaker 2: in Buller Dealer working in Newey. Yeah, 100%. Hey. Probably
- 25:04Speaker 2: 45 minutes.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Shout out Buller Dealer.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 2: You know what they need there?
- 25:09Speaker 1: What? A Krispy Kreme shop.
- 25:10Speaker 2: They do.
- 25:11Speaker 4: That'd do well.
- 25:11Speaker 2: A lot of people stop in Buller Dealer. They do
- 25:13Speaker 2: need a Krispy Kreme. That would have added two. Imagine
- 25:15Speaker 2: if a Krispy Kreme shop was there. Imagine that.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Krispy Kreme, what are you doing?
- 25:19Speaker 2: We love you.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Get a Krispy Kreme shop in Buller Dealer.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Have you got one?
- 25:24Speaker 3: I do.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Well, I know that one would be nostalgic for you.
- 25:26Speaker 2: That was nostalgic for me.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Because I will stop at Buller Dealer with Beth now.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's our spot we stop at.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Me and Cassie do as well.
- 25:30Speaker 1: How good is that?
- 25:30Speaker 2: It's so good. Hopefully we get to do that with
- 25:33Speaker 2: our kids. And by then there'll be a Krispy Kreme there.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Nostalgic road trips for me would have to be age
- 25:43Speaker 2: period between, my memory forms are like eight or nine.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I'm going to say eight or nine through about 15.
- 25:49Speaker 2: My dad owned a farm in a place called Eureka,
- 25:52Speaker 2: which was- Eureka! 45 minutes from Byron Bay.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 25:58Speaker 2: And we would drive there from the Central Coast, which
- 25:59Speaker 2: back then felt like 10 hours. It was probably eight.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Probably was 10 hours. Stopped halfway because dad didn't want
- 26:06Speaker 2: to drive the whole thing. Me and my brother, I
- 26:08Speaker 2: have a core memory of my brother's friend. And my
- 26:11Speaker 2: brother is three years older than me and so is
- 26:14Speaker 2: a friend. So I was like, oh, I'm hanging out
- 26:15Speaker 2: with these guys for like two weeks. And they like
- 26:16Speaker 2: have to include you.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 2: They have to include you. We're going surfing. We're going
- 26:19Speaker 2: to like skate park.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Was the best part of that going back from like
- 26:23Speaker 1: school holidays when you've gone out there and saying to
- 26:24Speaker 1: your friends, yeah, let's go out to my dad's farm.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I remember being sick and like dad would pack the
- 26:30Speaker 2: trailer so we'd have a ute trailer surfboards skateboards and
- 26:34Speaker 2: we just drive up there and like not have a
- 26:36Speaker 2: worry in the world and like the farm was dingy
- 26:38Speaker 2: didn't really have a house had a shed on it
- 26:39Speaker 2: with like a drop toilet but it was just fun
- 26:42Speaker 2: and i loved it and i the core memory of
- 26:44Speaker 2: that trip was there it's still there we went to
- 26:47Speaker 2: it in the closest town can't remember what it is
- 26:51Speaker 2: there's a magic shop Oh, yeah, I remember going to here.
- 26:53Speaker 2: It's called Abracadabra.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I remember going there. That was cool. And we went there.
- 26:57Speaker 2: It wasn't as cool when we were adults, but as
- 26:59Speaker 2: a kid, man. I would have been nostalgic about it.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That place was going into Harry Potter. Oh, yeah, yeah, literally.
- 27:05Speaker 2: What's the wand shop in Harry Potter? Yes, yeah. What's
- 27:08Speaker 2: that called?
- 27:09Speaker 1: I forget, but that was what.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It was like. It felt like that, and it's still there.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I don't know how it makes money. Whenever I think
- 27:16Speaker 2: about nostalgia and trips like that, I think of that
- 27:18Speaker 2: Abracadabra place. Amazing.
- 27:20Speaker 4: How cool.
- 27:21Speaker 2: So, guys, look, couldn't recommend it more.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Sit down with your friends, talk about nostalgic road trips,
- 27:25Speaker 1: nostalgic things you used to do as kids, maybe nostalgic
- 27:28Speaker 1: things you did only a few years ago that bring
- 27:29Speaker 1: back good memories. Do it with some Krispy Kremes in
- 27:31Speaker 1: hand and enjoy.
- 27:33Speaker 2: If you could be bothered, go buy some Krispy Kremes
- 27:35Speaker 2: from your local shop, head to Buller Dealer, and then
- 27:38Speaker 2: experience like we've experienced.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 27:40Speaker 2: We'll let it go.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Baddies, time for dilemmas. If you want to get a
- 27:50Speaker 1: dilemma read, submit it via the link in the description.
- 27:55Speaker 1: They're all anonymous.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Before we get to them, Jake, have you had any
- 27:57Speaker 2: dilemmas recently?
- 28:00Speaker 1: No.
- 28:00Speaker 4: What?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Put a little bit of chocolate on my white pants.
- 28:03Speaker 2: That's a dilemma. I hate that.
- 28:05Speaker 1: One dilemma I'm experiencing at the moment is if I
- 28:07Speaker 1: went and sat on the toilet, I could shit, but
- 28:10Speaker 1: I don't want to just break up our.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Little rhythm here. I think I'm just going to hold it. Okay, go.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Darcy farted earlier too and I didn't want to say anything.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Kind of ruined my donut eating experience. You don't want
- 28:21Speaker 2: to get anything from upstairs quickly?
- 28:23Speaker 4: Look at her.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Her nose is in her butt and it stinks, bro.
- 28:26Speaker 2: How did she sit like that? Probably why she likes
- 28:28Speaker 2: me so much. Do you have any dilemmas? No, not really.
- 28:36Speaker 2: To be fair, life's been good. Oh, my tummy. But
- 28:38Speaker 2: that's a dilemma we always talk about on Patreon for
- 28:41Speaker 2: $ 8. 99 a month. If you want exclusive dilemmas, to hear
- 28:45Speaker 2: about Jake and myself's tummy issues, as well as you
- 28:48Speaker 2: get the book club five days early and the community
- 28:51Speaker 2: over there is absolutely insane. We've been doing a little
- 28:53Speaker 2: bit more chitty-chatty in the high group chat. So if
- 28:55Speaker 2: you join the Patreon, you get access to this group
- 28:57Speaker 2: chat where we'll be asking a few questions. Today I
- 29:00Speaker 2: asked just how are the baddies going? What are you
- 29:02Speaker 2: doing today? It's the only place you can actually have
- 29:04Speaker 2: a conversation with other baddies.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You can literally just put a thing in there and
- 29:08Speaker 1: talk to the baddies.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Yeah. Hectic.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Anyway, my dilemma.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Is yelling ever okay?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Hey boys, I'm a big fan of the show and
- 29:16Speaker 1: I love the friendship you guys have with each other.
- 29:18Speaker 1: My dilemma is in regards to partner yelling. I have
- 29:20Speaker 1: been dating someone on and off for 18 months, but
- 29:23Speaker 1: I feel I have changed a lot as a person
- 29:24Speaker 1: during that time and maybe not changed for the better. Oh,
- 29:28Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, I feel like I have stopped.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Oh, interesting.
- 29:32Speaker 1: I've had to stop training at my regular gym with
- 29:34Speaker 1: my coach because he was a male, which my boyfriend
- 29:36Speaker 1: found uncomfortable. Fuck him off.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Break.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Up agree i don't need to hear anymore uh.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Uncomfortable that he was a male so i stopped training
- 29:44Speaker 1: altogether he doesn't want me having male friends either so
- 29:47Speaker 1: i've had to cut off the few male friends that
- 29:48Speaker 1: i had he yells when we disagree or argue even
- 29:52Speaker 1: though i've told him i'm upset when he raises his
- 29:53Speaker 1: voice but he just but he says it's just words
- 29:56Speaker 1: am i in the wrong for asking my partner to
- 29:58Speaker 1: not yell when we disagree How do you guys handle
- 30:00Speaker 1: arguments or disagreements with Cassie and Beth? Any advice is appreciated. Okay, wait.
- 30:04Speaker 1: First thing I want to say is what he probably
- 30:08Speaker 1: doesn't understand is the sort of male privilege that he
- 30:12Speaker 1: is taking advantage of when he yells at you.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Yes.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Because, look, I assume you're not afraid. I'm assuming here,
- 30:20Speaker 1: but you might not be afraid that he is.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Sorry, let me rephrase this.
- 30:28Speaker 5: When.
- 30:29Speaker 1: a man yells, it is coming off obviously as anger,
- 30:35Speaker 1: but it's also like a violent thing, yelling, right? And
- 30:38Speaker 1: so if he's yelling at you, you're going to be
- 30:43Speaker 1: scared of him. And so what he's doing is he's
- 30:47Speaker 1: taking advantage of a bit of a power trip that
- 30:51Speaker 1: like yelling is going to scare you. So it's not
- 30:54Speaker 1: fair for him to yell when you're asking him not
- 30:57Speaker 1: to yell. Because he's taking advantage of a bit of
- 31:00Speaker 1: a male privilege there because men historically are so violent
- 31:03Speaker 1: towards women. And that would include yelling. So right now
- 31:09Speaker 1: he's doing something very fucked up, especially because you have
- 31:12Speaker 1: asked him to stop.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Well, it's another level of control. He's controlling and saying
- 31:17Speaker 2: who you can see, but then also that yelling. Although
- 31:20Speaker 2: it's just like words, like he says, that's also another
- 31:23Speaker 2: way of gaslighting you. But that is control because like
- 31:26Speaker 2: Jack said, men are bigger.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:28Speaker 2: And his way of feeling like he's in control is
- 31:30Speaker 2: to be louder than you, bigger than you. And that's
- 31:33Speaker 2: how he feels like a man. It's very toxic.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 1: And look, he may never get physical with you, but
- 31:39Speaker 1: that is just something that like you actually don't know.
- 31:43Speaker 2: All these are warning signs though.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 1: A hundred percent warning signs.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Think of the.
- 31:47Speaker 1: So he's like, he's starting to already control you, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 1: with the thing of you not training anymore because he
- 31:55Speaker 1: doesn't want you training with a male coach.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So.
- 31:57Speaker 1: 100% breakup with this guy.
- 32:01Speaker 2: This is 100% breakup worthy. Outside of that, conflict resolution
- 32:06Speaker 2: in relationships, we can talk about that. I think this
- 32:09Speaker 2: one's completely unhealthy and you need to get out before
- 32:11Speaker 2: it does hopefully not turn into an issue, but it
- 32:13Speaker 2: could turn into an issue. But conflict resolution, I remember
- 32:16Speaker 2: when I first started dating Cassie, I think I've said
- 32:18Speaker 2: it before, we had our first ever fight and she
- 32:20Speaker 2: yelled at me. And I don't yell. And I make
- 32:24Speaker 2: the conscious choice not to do that. And I just, like,
- 32:27Speaker 2: we're having a conversation, disagreement, whatever, arguing, which is fair,
- 32:30Speaker 2: happens in relationships. And she yelled at me. And I said, hey,
- 32:33Speaker 2: I was like, stop. We're allowed to have a fight.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Don't ever raise your voice at me. We love each other.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Don't do that. That doesn't win anything. I know the
- 32:42Speaker 2: emotions are there. And then she, like, I don't think
- 32:45Speaker 2: she'd ever had a man not arc back up at her.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I took a step away from the issue and said, like, No,
- 32:52Speaker 2: this isn't... We can resolve the problem, but we're not
- 32:54Speaker 2: doing it this way. And ever since then, we've never
- 32:56Speaker 2: ever yelled at each other ever again. Yeah. I've raised
- 32:59Speaker 2: my voice by accident when I didn't think I have,
- 33:02Speaker 2: but apparently I have. He's like, hey, don't you fucking
- 33:04Speaker 2: yell at me. But I think there's never ever an
- 33:08Speaker 2: appropriate time to yell at someone in a relationship if
- 33:10Speaker 2: you love them.
- 33:11Speaker 1: No, yeah. And then in terms of conflict resolution, I
- 33:14Speaker 1: would say, you know, if you're having an argument or
- 33:19Speaker 1: a disagreement with the person you love.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Something that you got to try and do is stop
- 33:26Speaker 1: and think this isn't, you know, we're not against each
- 33:29Speaker 1: other here.
- 33:29Speaker 2: We love each other.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You know, we're not against each other here. Let's try
- 33:32Speaker 1: and separate ourselves from the problem. It's us two against
- 33:35Speaker 1: the problem. And so if you can kind of think
- 33:37Speaker 1: of it like that, then it's a lot easier to do.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I would say with Beth and I, when it comes
- 33:42Speaker 1: to conflict, like we've had disagreements. We've never had huge fights.
- 33:51Speaker 4: We....
- 33:54Speaker 1: I just like, I listen. She's good at articulating things.
- 33:58Speaker 1: And so if I just, it's pretty rare that I
- 34:01Speaker 1: would say something and then she says that that hurts
- 34:05Speaker 1: her feelings and tells me why. It's pretty rare for
- 34:06Speaker 1: me to be like, that's invalid. I'm quite often like, oh,
- 34:09Speaker 1: that makes sense.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 34:11Speaker 1: And that's how it usually ends like that.
- 34:13Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 34:14Speaker 1: So I think some people just aren't open to listening.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Which is unfortunate for a lot of people in relationships.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I also just hate fighting. Like, I just don't like it.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Neither do I. I just hate it. I think, like,
- 34:26Speaker 2: it's fine to fight in a relationship, like, here and there.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Oh, 100% it's fine.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's just, like, I think when the fighting becomes, if
- 34:33Speaker 2: you're in a heated argument and you're thinking, like, I
- 34:35Speaker 2: fucking hate this person, and there's, like, a sort of
- 34:38Speaker 2: a vendetta or your mindset is I need to win this,
- 34:41Speaker 2: that's when there's an issue. But if you're just, like, no,
- 34:43Speaker 2: I feel this way, you feel that way, and there's
- 34:44Speaker 2: a disagreement, I think that is perfectly healthy. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:48Speaker 1: You're allowed to disagree on things, too.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, 100%.
- 34:51Speaker 1: You are allowed to disagree on things.
- 34:52Speaker 2: You're not the exact same person.
- 34:53Speaker 1: But I want to reiterate that you really need to
- 34:56Speaker 1: break up with this guy because it's the beginnings of
- 34:59Speaker 1: a very controlling relationship. And once again, when a man
- 35:03Speaker 1: yells at a woman, he is taking advantage of a
- 35:06Speaker 1: power trip because that is scary for a woman inherently.
- 35:10Speaker 2: So it is not fair.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 35:12Speaker 2: And if you're thinking, I don't know if you said
- 35:14Speaker 2: anything like, oh, he's a nice man or whatever. He
- 35:16Speaker 2: wants you to stop getting PT'd by a male because
- 35:19Speaker 2: he only sees women sexually.
- 35:22Speaker 1: And he thinks that... So, he's basically, in a way,
- 35:28Speaker 1: saying that, like... So, it makes him uncomfortable because, number one, he's, like,
- 35:32Speaker 1: very insecure about it, right? But it's making.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Like, what it is.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Is it kind of not saying, you know, if you
- 35:40Speaker 1: keep getting PT'd by this guy, like, he just wants
- 35:44Speaker 1: to fuck you.
- 35:45Speaker 2: And so, but.
- 35:46Speaker 1: what he is then saying is I'm with you because
- 35:49Speaker 1: I just.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Want to fuck you.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Well, he's saying any woman in the world I look at,
- 35:53Speaker 2: I just want to fuck.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 2: That's what all men think. Yeah. Which is wrong.
- 35:56Speaker 1: And I know we've been on the record saying guys
- 35:58Speaker 1: and girls can't be best friends, but like, we actually
- 36:02Speaker 1: have had a few baddies comment from past episodes being like, no, no,
- 36:05Speaker 1: it works for us, work for us. And then I've
- 36:07Speaker 1: replied being like, oh, look, I mean, if it works
- 36:08Speaker 1: for you.
- 36:08Speaker 2: What's the best friend, but this is also a professional thing.
- 36:11Speaker 2: If I'm a PT and I'm PTing a woman, There's
- 36:14Speaker 2: not a single thought in my brain that I want
- 36:15Speaker 2: to fuck her.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Here's the thing, right?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 36:20Speaker 1: He also, you know, you've stopped hanging out with the
- 36:22Speaker 1: small amount of male friends that you did have, right? Now, look,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I know Odie and I are on the record saying
- 36:29Speaker 1: guys and girls can't be best friends. I still think
- 36:32Speaker 1: it doesn't work.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Out often, right?
- 36:34Speaker 1: But if Beth had friends.
- 36:38Speaker 2: That are guys, right, before we met, a platonic thing,
- 36:44Speaker 2: Give a fuck.
- 36:44Speaker 1: If she wants to hang out with them.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Like, that's fucking insane. It comes back to the controlling thing, too,
- 36:50Speaker 2: because when you get isolated, making the decision to leave
- 36:53Speaker 2: is more scary because you have no one. And he's
- 36:55Speaker 2: isolated you from everyone.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Yes, that's what he's doing. Oh, my God. You need
- 36:59Speaker 1: to get out of this. You need to break up
- 37:00Speaker 1: with him.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Please.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Give us an update. You have to break up with him.
- 37:02Speaker 2: All right, my turn. I'm 19, and I've been seeing
- 37:06Speaker 2: this guy for about six months. We're not officially boyfriend
- 37:09Speaker 2: and girlfriend, but we've basically been acting like it. We
- 37:12Speaker 2: sleep together, stay at each other's houses, see each other
- 37:15Speaker 2: most weekends, and I've met his friends and family. The
- 37:18Speaker 2: problem is that a few weeks ago, I found out
- 37:21Speaker 2: he had slept with another girl while we were seeing
- 37:23Speaker 2: each other. When I confronted him, he said that because
- 37:27Speaker 2: we were never officially together, he technically didn't do anything wrong.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I was obviously hurt, but I decided to give him
- 37:35Speaker 2: another chance because I really like him. The part that's
- 37:38Speaker 2: making me feel insane is that he now gets jealous
- 37:41Speaker 2: whenever I talk to other guys and has even questioned
- 37:44Speaker 2: me who I'm texting, while still refuses to actually make
- 37:48Speaker 2: things official with me. Then last weekend, I went out
- 37:52Speaker 2: with my friends and ended up kissing another guy.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Hell yeah.
- 37:55Speaker 2: I haven't told him because technically we're still not together,
- 37:58Speaker 2: but I feel guilty because I know he'd be furious. Now,
- 38:02Speaker 2: I'm stuck because part of me thinks I have no
- 38:05Speaker 2: right to be upset about what he did if I've
- 38:08Speaker 2: technically done the same thing. But another part of me
- 38:11Speaker 2: feels like there's a massive difference because I only did
- 38:13Speaker 2: it after finding out he had already slept with someone else.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Do I tell him what happened and risk ending everything
- 38:20Speaker 2: we have or keep quiet because we were never actually exclusive?
- 38:24Speaker 2: And at this point, should I even be trying to
- 38:26Speaker 2: make this relationship work when he clearly wants all the
- 38:29Speaker 2: benefits of having a girlfriend without actually calling me his girlfriend.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to lie. Like, I'm so sorry.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I'm going to just like be so mean and honest
- 38:40Speaker 1: right now. I understand these things can be hard. You
- 38:43Speaker 1: can think you have something, but you genuinely have nothing.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I'm so, so sorry. Read back the dilemma you just
- 38:49Speaker 1: sent and pretend it's one of your friends sending a
- 38:52Speaker 1: dilemma to us. And then you're listening to Odi read
- 38:55Speaker 1: that out. And you're just thinking to yourself, What the
- 38:58Speaker 1: fuck are you doing? Have some self-respect and leave this guy.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Like, I'm sorry.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I understand these things are going to happen, right? And
- 39:08Speaker 1: it's going to happen all the time. But like, it's
- 39:11Speaker 1: very annoying when someone sends in a dilemma like that
- 39:15Speaker 1: and you've been so like manipulated or, I don't know,
- 39:19Speaker 1: just maybe love bombed.
- 39:21Speaker 2: And then and then manipulated.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Like he's full telling you, like I did nothing wrong
- 39:26Speaker 1: because we weren't technically technically together. And then you're like, okay,
- 39:30Speaker 1: well I'm hurt, but whatever, I guess you're right. Like, no,
- 39:33Speaker 1: that's fucked up. And then you're now like, Oh, like,
- 39:37Speaker 1: do you want to fucking be on your deathbed? Or
- 39:41Speaker 1: do you want to think about this? Would you want
- 39:43Speaker 1: to be a mom and have your daughter be Be like, oh,
- 39:46Speaker 1: this is what this guy's doing, but I really like him.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Should I give away everything we have.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Or should I leave? And you're going to be like,
- 39:50Speaker 2: what the fuck's wrong with you? Would you want that
- 39:52Speaker 2: guy to be the fucking father to your children?
- 39:55Speaker 4: No.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Do you want to tell your children when they ask you,
- 39:57Speaker 1: how did.
- 39:58Speaker 2: You and dad meet? Oh, well, this happened, this happened,
- 40:01Speaker 2: this happened. No, you're going to fucking lie.
- 40:02Speaker 1: You don't want to lie about how you got with
- 40:04Speaker 1: your fucking future husband.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Exactly. You know what I mean? I'm sorry.
- 40:09Speaker 1: You need to like have way higher respect for yourself
- 40:12Speaker 1: and fuck this guy off.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Oh, I couldn't agree more.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:15Speaker 2: And showing empathy. She's young. She's dumb. This is what
- 40:20Speaker 2: happens when you're young and dumb and you've never loved before.
- 40:22Speaker 2: But like Jake said, think about... For love to work,
- 40:28Speaker 2: you have to be one, be confident in yourself. Two,
- 40:30Speaker 2: be confident in the other person. This motherfucker doesn't know
- 40:34Speaker 2: what he wants. You don't know what you want. And
- 40:36Speaker 2: you're not showing yourself self-respect.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Yeah. It's very, very... it's hard to hear.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Like when those things get read out it's hard to
- 40:45Speaker 1: hear and here's the thing right it's like the difference
- 40:47Speaker 1: between the dilemma I read and the dilemma Audie read
- 40:49Speaker 1: is like there is so this girl is actually like
- 40:54Speaker 1: she's been on and off with this guy but like
- 40:55Speaker 1: they're dating dating right even though they've been on and
- 40:58Speaker 1: off and then he is like practicing this guy it's
- 41:02Speaker 1: like he's practicing like a sort of I don't want
- 41:05Speaker 1: to say I don't think it's coercive control I don't
- 41:08Speaker 1: think that's it I could be wrong I would love
- 41:10Speaker 1: for someone to correct me in the comments but like
- 41:13Speaker 1: To be fair, I guess we said to her, like,
- 41:14Speaker 1: get out of that fucking relationship.
- 41:16Speaker 2: But, like, you're not even in one. It's hard.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It's hard.
- 41:20Speaker 2: It's hard. This one's, like, just manipulation.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:23Speaker 2: And it's, like, because I'm struggling to articulate what's in
- 41:28Speaker 2: my brain.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Try.
- 41:31Speaker 2: When you love someone and, like, let me think about this.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Here, let me say something while you think about this.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I don't know if this is what I was going
- 41:39Speaker 1: to say, right? But. This is me going back to
- 41:42Speaker 1: being mean. And I hope I'm not making you cry
- 41:44Speaker 1: or anything, but I'm just trying to be super brutally honest.
- 41:45Speaker 1: This guy doesn't love you, right? Because if he did,
- 41:49Speaker 1: you would be together, right? He wouldn't have slept. Like
- 41:53Speaker 1: you would have been fucking dating within a couple months
- 41:55Speaker 1: of seeing each other. He wouldn't have slept with someone
- 41:58Speaker 1: else because he would have been like, no, I really
- 41:59Speaker 1: like this girl and I want to be with her
- 42:01Speaker 1: and I don't want to ruin that, right? So that's
- 42:04Speaker 1: one thing to think about.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Or that's basically where I'm getting with this. Like when
- 42:09Speaker 2: you know you know, And you'll do everything in your
- 42:11Speaker 2: power and a good person, a good man will do
- 42:14Speaker 2: everything in their power to make that relationship work because
- 42:16Speaker 2: they're falling in love. You don't just go sleep with
- 42:19Speaker 2: someone because, oh, we weren't exclusive. fuck off then yeah
- 42:22Speaker 2: if you like someone you don't sleep with someone else
- 42:24Speaker 2: yeah it's very simple there's no like oh we didn't
- 42:27Speaker 2: actually put a title on it so i did nothing
- 42:28Speaker 2: wrong that's when you say fuck off you dumb cunt yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Like dead set like if someone says to you oh
- 42:35Speaker 7: i didn't actually technically do anything wrong because we aren't
- 42:38Speaker 7: officially dating i know we've been like hanging out for
- 42:41Speaker 7: six months and i'm getting all the girlfriend benefits on
- 42:43Speaker 7: a fucking like little situationship fucking, what a payslip, whatever
- 42:48Speaker 7: people say with their little.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Acronym or their little fucking metaphor about it. It's like,
- 42:51Speaker 1: how about fuck off? Go experience the male loneliness epidemic,
- 42:54Speaker 1: you fucking loser.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Go have a cry. Go be alone.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Go get broken up with every girl because you're just like,
- 42:59Speaker 1: I don't ever want to put a label on it.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I don't ever want to put a label on it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: And now I'm so lonely and women hate me.
- 43:05Speaker 2: And why do women hate me? I'm such a good guy.
- 43:07Speaker 1: How about take a look in the.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Fucking mirror, you loser. For fuck's sakes. It's so annoying.
- 43:14Speaker 2: And it's sad that you have been, as a result,
- 43:18Speaker 2: affected by this guy, this man's poor actions.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 2: But you just need to step up and be like, no,
- 43:22Speaker 2: I deserve better. You're way better off being alone, not
- 43:26Speaker 2: dealing with any type of this shit at all. So
- 43:29Speaker 2: much better.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Be alone and, yeah, respect yourself much higher. Go tell
- 43:34Speaker 1: your mum about this. See what she says.
- 43:35Speaker 2: She's going to be like, oh, sweetie.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Oh, sweetie.
- 43:38Speaker 2: This is how you learn. This is how you learn.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Baddies, we are back with Oddy's VC. Yeah, let's go.
- 43:50Speaker 2: What's that, Jake? Oddy Venture Capitalism. Yeah, and it's eventuated
- 43:55Speaker 2: from Oddy's Shark Tank, where Jake came to me months
- 43:59Speaker 2: and months ago with business ideas, and he hit on
- 44:01Speaker 2: week two with some type of divide in a bed.
- 44:06Speaker 2: We've landed on the name The Bed Divider.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Somebody actually commented somewhere. I didn't go reply to it
- 44:12Speaker 1: because I was like, fuck no. I just like came
- 44:15Speaker 1: on my phone. Someone was like, I fear this is
- 44:18Speaker 1: a thing already.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Nah.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Surely, nah. There's no way. No, there's a, remember how
- 44:23Speaker 2: I brought to the pod one week and there was
- 44:25Speaker 2: a company called like Bed Border.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that was the thing on the outside.
- 44:29Speaker 2: On the outside. There's nothing on the middle and there's
- 44:31Speaker 2: no technology out there. We'll patent that shit when it
- 44:33Speaker 2: comes out.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Actually, that border thing that you found, I actually think
- 44:37Speaker 1: it's cool.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Off that's competition what are you talking about that's.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Not competition they're not dividing us yeah.
- 44:42Speaker 5: But i feel like they're in the bad game we
- 44:44Speaker 5: should do is actually we should get this idea right
- 44:46Speaker 5: yeah what we should do is we should make this
- 44:48Speaker 5: idea we should trademark it and then sell it to
- 44:50Speaker 5: them for a couple mil make a quick buck.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah we'll give sarah her 30 you're.
- 44:55Speaker 5: All about a quick buck uh we're in for the
- 44:57Speaker 5: long run yeah quick buck quick fuck.
- 45:02Speaker 2: I know about a quick fuck, I do. Yeah, you
- 45:04Speaker 2: do know about a quick fuck. How do you know?
- 45:05Speaker 2: Because I've asked Cassie. Oh, yeah. So, baddies, as Jake mentioned,
- 45:12Speaker 2: Sarah is not actually a part owner in this. She's
- 45:16Speaker 2: just helping us out. She is the baddest baddie who
- 45:18Speaker 2: won the competition about a year ago, and she's been
- 45:21Speaker 2: working in the background on making this bed divider happen. So,
- 45:25Speaker 2: we're just going to give her a ring and catch
- 45:27Speaker 2: up with her and see where she's at with it.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. Hello.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Sarah, how are you going?
- 45:33Speaker 6: Good, thanks. How are you guys?
- 45:35Speaker 2: We're good. We're excited. We're very excited. First things first
- 45:40Speaker 2: is how did you go in handball?
- 45:42Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 45:43Speaker 6: It was good. We came fourth out of the seven teams,
- 45:48Speaker 6: which this is the first time New Zealand's got a
- 45:50Speaker 6: team to the Oceania champs, and I think the first
- 45:53Speaker 6: actual Oceania champs.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Hey, that's pretty good.
- 45:56Speaker 6: We got smacked by Australia, though, which.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Sucks, but.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Let's go! We are good at sports, to be fair.
- 46:07Speaker 2: We love that.
- 46:08Speaker 6: Yeah, and actually, Australia is training for the Olympics because
- 46:14Speaker 6: when you're hosting in, I think, it's 2032, you get
- 46:17Speaker 6: a free entry for the handball team.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Oh, do you get a free entry if you host?
- 46:21Speaker 2: That's such a scam. I mean, no, think about World Cup.
- 46:24Speaker 2: They get a free entry. If they host. True.
- 46:27Speaker 1: And they never do well.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Well, up Australia. Is there.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Before we move on, actually, what is New Zealand's national sport? Rugby.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Rugby. Rugby, yeah.
- 46:37Speaker 2: They are good at rugby.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 2: What's the team called again?
- 46:41Speaker 1: What's the team called again? It's the All Blacks, mate.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Come on.
- 46:44Speaker 2: No, what's the... The Haka. Is that what it's called?
- 46:45Speaker 2: How do they go? No, they do that.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah, they do the Haka at the start. Yeah, I
- 46:49Speaker 2: used to love that as a kid. I thought it
- 46:50Speaker 2: was scary as fuck.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Hands down, biggest aura moment for any sports team ever.
- 46:55Speaker 1: across the entire world is like, it would be so
- 46:59Speaker 1: scary to be facing them when they do the Haka.
- 47:00Speaker 1: You'd be like, what are we going to do now?
- 47:03Speaker 1: We don't have anything. Anyway, sorry, Sarah.
- 47:06Speaker 6: Actually, when we versus Tahiti in our third, fourth final,
- 47:09Speaker 6: they started with one and it was incredible to see.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Did you guys do one? Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 6: We didn't actually do one. But we opened with a
- 47:21Speaker 6: waiata and closed the ceremony with a waiata, so like
- 47:24Speaker 6: a song. Yeah, the Tahiti team opened, started the match
- 47:28Speaker 6: with a haka and it was just incredible to be
- 47:30Speaker 6: standing there having them facing you doing that.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Did you win? Did you beat them?
- 47:35Speaker 6: No, we were up by like six in the first
- 47:38Speaker 6: half and then they came back in the second half.
- 47:41Speaker 4: So it worked. Yeah.
- 47:42Speaker 1: It worked.
- 47:43Speaker 2: They got in your head. They got in your head.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Well, Sarah, have you been listening to the pod and
- 47:49Speaker 2: our feedback we mentioned on one of the episodes to
- 47:53Speaker 2: your diagrams?
- 47:54Speaker 6: Of course I've been listening to the pod.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Imagine if she just goes, no, I haven't been listening. Yeah. Well, firstly,
- 48:02Speaker 2: thank you very much for the drawings. They're very detailed
- 48:04Speaker 2: and good. And we landed on either the magnet with
- 48:09Speaker 2: the cushion or the rope. We've kind of combined those
- 48:14Speaker 2: two ideas, the rope and the ratchet, into one. One idea.
- 48:17Speaker 2: What did you think about those two? Yeah, I loved it.
- 48:20Speaker 6: I was kind of on the same line with thinking
- 48:22Speaker 6: it was going to be those ones. The proper ones,
- 48:24Speaker 6: I wasn't thinking it would work, but I added it
- 48:27Speaker 6: just in case you were like, actually, this is how
- 48:29Speaker 6: it could.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Good idea with the ratchet, eh? Yeah, the ratchet is brilliant.
- 48:35Speaker 2: And we had one sort of advancement maybe. It came
- 48:39Speaker 2: to me when I was falling asleep one night. Development.
- 48:42Speaker 2: My girlfriend was sitting next to me and she was
- 48:44Speaker 2: moving around. Kicking him. Kicking me. Choking him. Pulling the dude.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Literally choking me. Literally choking you. I had this thought
- 48:51Speaker 2: when I was fucking dying. I was like, how can
- 48:53Speaker 2: I solve this issue? And so I think Jake and
- 48:57Speaker 2: I love the ratchet idea.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Because with the magnet and the cushion thing, That idea
- 49:03Speaker 2: kind of worked with we have to sell our own sheets, correct?
- 49:08Speaker 4: Pretty much.
- 49:09Speaker 2: To slit the magnets in. So that one's a bit like.
- 49:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I think there would be a way to attach
- 49:14Speaker 6: the magnets that isn't selling on cheap but i think
- 49:16Speaker 6: it would be a bit more complicated.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Yes yes yes but my i set it on i
- 49:21Speaker 2: don't know if the episode comes out because the way
- 49:22Speaker 2: we do things is like it's.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Just it's just a pillow bit around the.
- 49:27Speaker 2: The ratchet yes so it has came out that's my idea.
- 49:30Speaker 6: Yeah and And actually, Steph Price commented on, I think,
- 49:33Speaker 6: YouTube suggesting the same thing on the episode before.
- 49:36Speaker 1: So you're stealing Steph's idea and claiming it is your own,
- 49:40Speaker 1: you dog.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Hands down, organic idea. You liar. Hands down, organic idea
- 49:44Speaker 2: from my brain.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Liar.
- 49:46Speaker 1: 100%. What do you mean? I had it before the
- 49:48Speaker 1: episode was published. Coincidence, I think not. If Steph posted
- 49:52Speaker 1: a comment. Before that, nah. We don't know it was before.
- 49:56Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure it was different.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Anyway, I thought it was organic, but maybe it was
- 50:01Speaker 2: one of those times where you see something and you
- 50:03Speaker 2: think it's your own. It says you. I'll say something
- 50:06Speaker 2: and then two hours later, you'll be like, I've got
- 50:08Speaker 2: an idea. I fucking already told you about it. It
- 50:10Speaker 2: went after me, mate. This is about you, not me.
- 50:13Speaker 4: So, yeah.
- 50:13Speaker 2: So, to reiterate to everyone who maybe hasn't been listening,
- 50:18Speaker 2: the idea is a ratchet strap that attaches to the
- 50:21Speaker 2: front and back of the bed. And then along the rope,
- 50:24Speaker 2: maybe you can slide it up and down, is a
- 50:26Speaker 2: nice soft pillow. One, to create that divide. Two, also
- 50:30Speaker 2: can be used for sexy time. Ticks every box, Sarah.
- 50:33Speaker 2: What do you think? Any issues?
- 50:35Speaker 6: I think it's great. And I remember in one of
- 50:38Speaker 6: the episodes, you suggested a three-part one that you could
- 50:41Speaker 6: actually fold over as well instead of having to slide
- 50:43Speaker 6: it through the rope.
- 50:44Speaker 2: That was Jake, yes.
- 50:44Speaker 6: So I'm thinking let's Add that in as well.
- 50:48Speaker 4: I like it.
- 50:49Speaker 6: And then you've got the pillow, but then you can
- 50:51Speaker 6: unfold it as well into, like, a three-part thing.
- 50:53Speaker 4: I like it. It'll be great.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Okay, this is great. This is great.
- 50:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Also, can this at any point, like, could this double
- 51:00Speaker 1: as one of those things that keeps your fitted sheet
- 51:03Speaker 1: on the bed? You ever get really annoyed with the
- 51:05Speaker 1: fitted sheet, like, kind of, like, flicks up over one
- 51:07Speaker 1: of the corners?
- 51:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh.
- 51:09Speaker 6: That is a great idea.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Yes, there we go.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I'm glad you're here, because Odi probably was going to
- 51:15Speaker 1: steal that in about two weeks.
- 51:17Speaker 2: I was about to say different issue. We'll fucking solve
- 51:20Speaker 2: that later. It probably would keep, because it's so tight
- 51:23Speaker 2: on the middle, though. It might just keep it from moving. Okay.
- 51:27Speaker 1: That's a good point.
- 51:28Speaker 2: We'll see what happens.
- 51:28Speaker 1: And then if we get one and it doesn't fix
- 51:30Speaker 1: that issue, you know what?
- 51:31Speaker 4: Fuck it.
- 51:31Speaker 2: We'll fix that issue while we're at it. I do
- 51:33Speaker 2: know a company.
- 51:33Speaker 6: Well, I'm just thinking, is there a way to add
- 51:35Speaker 6: a rope thing that goes around the corners then with
- 51:38Speaker 6: it that keeps the corners down?
- 51:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Just rope the whole bed. Yeah.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Mummify let's just wrap a bed in glad wrap and
- 51:47Speaker 1: just not use it let's do what old people do
- 51:51Speaker 1: with their lounges they put plastic around the thing and
- 51:52Speaker 1: just be like you're not allowed.
- 51:53Speaker 2: To sit on it put that on our girlfriend's side
- 51:57Speaker 2: be like you can't sleep there yeah yeah the floor
- 52:00Speaker 2: there's a floor there all right so this is where
- 52:05Speaker 2: we're a little bit stuck Where do you want to
- 52:08Speaker 2: go from here, Sarah?
- 52:09Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Making sure it's still fun, you're enjoying it, you're enjoying
- 52:12Speaker 2: your time, part of the bed divider team. Oh, 100%.
- 52:15Speaker 4: I'm enjoying it.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Awesome, awesome. Okay, that's good. That's tick number one. So
- 52:18Speaker 2: we're thinking a prototype probably is the next step.
- 52:21Speaker 6: Yep, sounds good.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Would you be happy to initiate the build process? Yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 2: of course.
- 52:29Speaker 6: In the next two weeks, I actually have a bit
- 52:32Speaker 6: of a study break so I can focus more on
- 52:35Speaker 6: getting this prototype done.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Bloody oath, send us a bill.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Perfect. Fucking oath.
- 52:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 2: We'll pay you. Sarah didn't want to be paid last time.
- 52:41Speaker 2: She's like, we'll wait. Nah, you got to take money. No, no,
- 52:43Speaker 2: she does. But she didn't want to be like paid
- 52:45Speaker 2: last two weeks ago. She's like, we'll wait to get
- 52:47Speaker 2: the final product. She's there for the long run. Right, okay.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I like it. The commitment. Yeah, the commitment.
- 52:51Speaker 6: Well, I didn't want you to think that I was
- 52:53Speaker 6: just going to come up with some ideas. You pay
- 52:54Speaker 6: me and then I'm done. Oh yeah, I'm done now.
- 52:56Speaker 6: So I was like, I'm waiting for that to get
- 52:58Speaker 6: to the prototype.
- 52:59Speaker 1: To be fair, even if you did and then we
- 53:00Speaker 1: took your idea and made money, all we had to
- 53:01Speaker 1: do was pay for the idea.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 53:04Speaker 2: That is true. But no, I feel like this has
- 53:07Speaker 2: been a great group effort and... Not really.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Sarah did most of it.
- 53:11Speaker 4: I feel like.
- 53:13Speaker 2: You came up with the idea, mate. That's a good point.
- 53:15Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 53:16Speaker 1: We wouldn't be here without Oddy's idea for Shark Tank,
- 53:18Speaker 1: my idea for the business and then Sarah's ideas for
- 53:20Speaker 1: making it.
- 53:20Speaker 2: There we go. Team effort. And then, Oddy, I guess
- 53:25Speaker 2: we could get the product working and then would you
- 53:27Speaker 2: be willing to test it with your partner?
- 53:29Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what I figured I'd do. So I'd make it,
- 53:32Speaker 6: test it and then... find a way to somehow get
- 53:37Speaker 6: it to you guys as well so then you can
- 53:39Speaker 6: let us know.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Would love a voice message from your partner like a
- 53:43Speaker 2: zero input from us just what he thinks about it
- 53:45Speaker 2: yeah yeah yeah I will let him know it'll be
- 53:49Speaker 2: the first review yeah yeah.
- 53:50Speaker 6: I am partly worried because I realised planning all of this.
- 53:54Speaker 6: This is not helpful for me though, because I really
- 53:56Speaker 6: like to be able to lean over and just have
- 53:58Speaker 6: my kid.
- 53:58Speaker 4: On the floor.
- 53:59Speaker 2: We're helping him.
- 54:00Speaker 6: I'm like, what am I actually planning against myself?
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, yes. But sometimes in relationships, you've got
- 54:06Speaker 2: to sacrifice your partner. And this might be one of
- 54:10Speaker 2: those times. Yes, you guys can do 50-50 with the
- 54:13Speaker 2: bed divider, without the bed divider.
- 54:16Speaker 1: All right.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Well, we'll leave it there, Sarah. We'll text you some details.
- 54:20Speaker 2: And if you have any questions as well about the
- 54:21Speaker 2: finalization of what we actually... think of how this could work.
- 54:25Speaker 2: We'll make that happen. But firstly, thank you very much
- 54:28Speaker 2: and we'll talk to you soon.
- 54:30Speaker 6: Yeah, look forward to it.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Thanks, guys.
- 54:31Speaker 4: Perfect.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Have a good day.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Bye.
- 54:32Speaker 3: See you.
- 54:35Speaker 2: I'm so excited. Sarah's a weapon.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I'm so excited for this because Beth's been, ever since,
- 54:41Speaker 1: I don't know if I, I think I told the
- 54:42Speaker 1: story about Henry eating his hair. Ever since then, Beth's
- 54:44Speaker 1: been too scared to let him, to keep him in
- 54:46Speaker 1: his crate. She's just like being a bit of a
- 54:48Speaker 1: worrywart about it, right? And so he's just been chilling,
- 54:50Speaker 1: sleeping on the end of the bed.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Henry, I can, do you reckon, now you've just said that,
- 54:54Speaker 2: Henry's a fucking little brat. He's probably ate his hair
- 54:57Speaker 2: to do exactly what Beth's doing.
- 54:59Speaker 4: I know.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Fuck her, right? Anyway, sleeps in between her legs or
- 55:02Speaker 1: maybe something like that. So if he's sleeping in between
- 55:05Speaker 1: her legs, she sleeps like a triangle.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Yeah. And I have dead set. We have a king
- 55:10Speaker 2: bed at the moment.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I genuinely have this much space. And to everybody that's
- 55:14Speaker 1: just listening, it's like 300 millimeters.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Bro, I'm telling you, like when I'm older, or next
- 55:19Speaker 2: time I, why do beds last so long? Like 10
- 55:22Speaker 2: years or whatever.
- 55:23Speaker 1: They can last as long as you want them to last.
- 55:24Speaker 2: True, but we have like an expensive, shout out to Koala.
- 55:27Speaker 2: They have this actually great bed. Good bed. 10 out
- 55:31Speaker 2: of 10 bed. I might hit them up for when
- 55:33Speaker 2: I move out of my parents' place. I want two
- 55:34Speaker 2: king singles next to each other. How big of a
- 55:39Speaker 2: space between? I don't even care because the way a
- 55:43Speaker 2: bed like- No, Odi, don't. That would just totally make
- 55:46Speaker 2: our idea useless. No, but that's a $ 3, 000 idea. Oh,
- 55:52Speaker 2: our idea is like one bed instead of two beds.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Ours will be hopefully $ 89. 99. Obviously, it's going to be $ 69.
- 56:00Speaker 4: 99.
- 56:00Speaker 2: True, true. And also, guess where else you can buy it?
- 56:03Speaker 2: Depends on materials.
- 56:04Speaker 1: You can buy it at Adair's, Meijer, David Jones. Maybe
- 56:07Speaker 1: Kmart can pick it up.
- 56:08Speaker 2: We don't know this. Now, fuck Kmart. That is dropship stuff.
- 56:11Speaker 2: An adult shop. An adult shop.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 2: I like that. Let's start there. I want to be
- 56:17Speaker 2: one of those people. You know, back in the day,
- 56:18Speaker 2: how like when you had a product, you'd just go
- 56:20Speaker 2: into like, A general shop and be like, hey, I
- 56:22Speaker 2: sell the bed by now. Do you want to stock
- 56:24Speaker 2: it for me? I can get you 50 units.
- 56:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Let's start doing that with sex shops.
- 56:28Speaker 1: That's a good idea.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Baddies, it's time for comments. If you want to get
- 56:37Speaker 2: a comment read, simply comment on the episode you are
- 56:40Speaker 2: listening to. I've got episode 41. He's so fucking hot.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Ella Hopeskin. Okay. Thoughts on the bed divider. I think
- 56:50Speaker 2: the magnets could be tricky to wash in the machine
- 56:54Speaker 2: if sewn into the sheet. Magnets in the washer or dryer,
- 56:56Speaker 2: question mark? Nah, good idea. All right, but I don't know.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Unlucky for you, you haven't listened to this episode yet,
- 57:02Speaker 1: so we've got an even better idea. I got YouTube,
- 57:05Speaker 1: episode 42, all men want is sex. Ashley Allen. Hey,
- 57:10Speaker 1: so I found you guys through your Throne of Glass recaps.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Hectic.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Enjoy your respect for each topic you discuss from books
- 57:17Speaker 1: to submitted questions. You maintain empathy while deep diving and
- 57:20Speaker 1: providing advice.
- 57:21Speaker 2: It is powerful.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I didn't really have any empathy this fucking week. To
- 57:25Speaker 1: the girl, such anyone being pressured by your partner. I've
- 57:28Speaker 1: been with my now husband for 10 years. I have
- 57:30Speaker 1: my own hangups around intimacy due to PTSD. He has
- 57:34Speaker 1: never pressured me for more, even when we go through gaps.
- 57:37Speaker 1: There are men out there that will understand whether you
- 57:39Speaker 1: have a diagnosis or not. There are men who will
- 57:42Speaker 1: stop mid hookup just because you asked them to. Do
- 57:44Speaker 1: not settle for a man who makes you feel pressure
- 57:46Speaker 1: to do anything you aren't comfortable with no matter how
- 57:49Speaker 1: long you have been together.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 57:52Speaker 5: Yes.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Very well said. That was in relation to someone's partner
- 57:56Speaker 2: wanting to have sex with him five times every week.
- 58:01Speaker 2: That was last week's dilemma.
- 58:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Five out of seven.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Two weeks ago. Bro, that pissed me off too. Oh,
- 58:06Speaker 2: All right, baddies, it's time for one of you to
- 58:08Speaker 2: sign off the episode. The link will be in the
- 58:11Speaker 2: description and we can call you and ask for a
- 58:13Speaker 2: riddle or a quote or you can tell us a joke.
- 58:16Speaker 2: You can do whatever you want. Literally. Jake, today, who
- 58:20Speaker 2: are we going to call?
- 58:21Speaker 1: Brady. And we're actually... This will be the second time
- 58:24Speaker 1: we call Brady because I believe we called him once
- 58:26Speaker 1: and he was driving.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and he said he couldn't pick up his notes. Yeah.
- 58:30Speaker 1: That's all right.
- 58:30Speaker 2: We'll fucking.
- 58:31Speaker 1: We'll give Brady another try, see what happens. What if
- 58:33Speaker 1: it's like Brady that we.
- 58:35Speaker 4: It was.
- 58:36Speaker 1: There's two men that we've called. One of them we
- 58:37Speaker 1: needed to call back.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Was it Brady? We're going to find out.
- 58:42Speaker 1: We're about to find out.
- 58:43Speaker 2: I know Brady's on Patreon, but... Legend. I see his name.
- 58:46Speaker 4: Hello, this is Brady.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Brady. It's Odie and Jake from the Relatables podcast. We're
- 58:49Speaker 2: calling you back.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Oh, hey. How's it going?
- 58:52Speaker 2: Really good.
- 58:53Speaker 1: How are you?
- 58:53Speaker 4: I'm doing good. I'm doing good. How are you, boys?
- 58:56Speaker 4: We are.
- 58:57Speaker 1: We're doing very well. And we were actually conversing before
- 59:00Speaker 1: we called you, and we were wondering if... we've called
- 59:05Speaker 1: two men in the last couple of months, right? One
- 59:07Speaker 1: of them we needed to call back because they were
- 59:08Speaker 1: driving and we were wondering if it was you it
- 59:11Speaker 1: was not me that's all right any of anyway do
- 59:14Speaker 1: you want to start the episode again.
- 59:16Speaker 4: Who was sure i'll give it a go yeah no.
- 59:18Speaker 2: No no yeah brady you're on patreon.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Buddy yeah i'm patreon yeah.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I see where are you from i see your comments
- 59:26Speaker 2: I'm in Perth. Perth? Hell yeah. Let's go. The men
- 59:29Speaker 2: in Perth like us, eh? Yeah, we need to go
- 59:31Speaker 2: to Perth. Yeah, we do, eh?
- 59:33Speaker 4: You do. I think you need to do a live
- 59:34Speaker 4: show here.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Scary, Brady. Wait, Brady, what would you want to see
- 59:40Speaker 2: at a live show?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Because we're like mad scared to do it because we've
- 59:42Speaker 1: been to live shows where they're like really funny. So
- 59:44Speaker 1: we think, oh, a live show needs to be funny,
- 59:45Speaker 1: needs to be like entertaining, blah, blah, blah. What would
- 59:47Speaker 1: you want to see at a live show?
- 59:50Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 59:50Speaker 3: I guess it's just like a live podcast like you
- 59:53Speaker 3: guys just being you guys and just doing your thing.
- 59:56Speaker 4: And I'm sure you can get some crowd interaction involved. Yes.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: We'll call you at the end, Brady. We'll get Brady
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: on stage.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: Yeah, get him up.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Keep signing up.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I don't know if I can get on stage with
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: your voice next to mine. You've got a deep, sexy voice.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Are you like 6'7? You sound tall. Yeah, how tall
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: are you?
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: I am actually 6'7. Fuck off!
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: No, you're not. You're not coming on stage with us, Brady.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: How did I guess that? You're lying.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Yeah, Jake. Jake, you can stand in between me and Odi. No. No, bro.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Imagine Brady's like 5'4. So, yeah, I'm 6'7.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: 6'7.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: No, we've got to meet Brady. Brady, are you single?
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: I am figuring it out.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Oh, Brady! Let's find Brady a lady!
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: He's 6'7!
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: That would be Perth's segment.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: Find and love Brady. Shit. I gotta say, Brady's not
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: looking for a lady. He's looking for a man.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: He's looking for a man. That's alright. We can help
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: you with that. Yeah, we can help you with that.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Sorry for assuming. No, we can help you with that too.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Even with your limited male audience?
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Hey, mate.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: If they're listening to us, at least they're hopefully healthy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: They're probably good men. Six, seven.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: Oh, six, seven.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Go do the hand thing.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Sorry. So, yeah, sorry for putting you on the spot again,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: but are you happy to sign off the episode with
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: a riddle, a quote, anything you live by again?
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I found my notes from when you last
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: called me and what the riddles I had prepared.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: So, I guess we're going with another riddle.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: You made us laugh. I remember that comment.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Okay, let's go. Okay. All right. It's another dirty one.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I'm sorry. Sorry.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: You are a man.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: You are a man, Brady.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: It's all right.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: to get me up. I get wet before you do.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: What am I?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: I got this.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: A tent. Oh, thanks.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Oh, shit.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: The poles thing.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: As soon as you said it, I was like, oh.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: As soon as you said tie me down to lift
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: me up, I thought I'm done.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: I've got this.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I didn't have that idea. Well, Brady, thank you very
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: much for saving the episode.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: Thank you. Thank you for the call. It's been great.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: And we'll see you in Perth, hopefully.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: We've got your number, Brady, so we'll be calling you
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: to meet up.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: Can't wait. Thanks, boys. Have a good day. You too.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: He'll just have to wear some flat shoes for you, mate.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: I'm just going to get some heel juice. What are
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: you talking about? I'm going to have to get stilts.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Six foot seven. It'd be so funny. He's definitely six, seven,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: but like live show, get him up, have a full segment.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: And then like, he's not six, seven. Six, seven deep voice.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I guess that off his voice. I swear to God,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: if he's ripped, I'd walk off. We've talked to two
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: men from Perth who we've met through the podcast, haven't
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: met Brady in real life. How tall is Harry? 6'5.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: 6'5.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: What's 12 and Harry? What are they eating? Harry has
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: a deep voice too. What are they eating in Perth?
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Harry has a really deep... What's in the water over there, bro? Yeah,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: what the hell? It's the desert heat. Get some, bro.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: It's not really the desert. I thought it was. Is
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: it considered... No, it's not. Everyone in Perth just lives
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: on the water.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Bro, you can have a desert that meets the ocean.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Can you?
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Doesn't it kind of go the opposite of a desert then?
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: No.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Desert means like Desert. You can have desert that meets
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: the water. Let us know below. And then while you're
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: doing that, baddies, on YouTube, we are going for 50,000 subscribers.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Be sure to sub, hype, like, comment. Thank you very much.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: And stay bad.
