- 0:00Speaker 1: It felt like doing this concept again, but now it's reversed.
- 0:02Speaker 1: Since y'all seem to love if Naruto was a girl
- 0:05Speaker 1: so much, let's see if we can't make an even
- 0:07Speaker 1: more interesting story out of Saske. Saske being a girl
- 0:11Speaker 1: might change quite a few things. What will change, though,
- 0:14Speaker 1: is anybody's guess. Well, I guess anyone but me. I
- 0:18Speaker 1: know exactly how it'll change, cause well, I'm making the story.
- 0:23Speaker 1: But if you're expecting me just to tell you right
- 0:25Speaker 1: here and now, then you'll be gravely disappointed. So you'll
- 0:29Speaker 1: have to watch the video to know what will happen.
- 0:31Speaker 1: So let's go ahead and get to it, shall we.
- 0:33Speaker 1: But first, welcome to the Amagi. Only twenty five percent
- 0:37Speaker 1: of our viewers are subscribed, so if you're a fan
- 0:39Speaker 1: of the video, please like in double check if you
- 0:41Speaker 1: are subscribed. And with that out of the way, let's
- 0:44Speaker 1: get into the video. Makoto Uchiha had always wanted a
- 0:47Speaker 1: little girl, of course, like every parent. If you asked,
- 0:52Speaker 1: she would just say, I hope the baby's healthy, But secretly,
- 0:55Speaker 1: deep down she couldn't be more happy. Having a little
- 0:58Speaker 1: girl was something, ever, if mama wanted at least once
- 1:02Speaker 1: to have a little boy was a blessing, but as
- 1:04Speaker 1: a girl herself, mothers more easily understood little girls, just
- 1:08Speaker 1: like Papa's understood little boys, So deep down Makoto was
- 1:12Speaker 1: as happy as could be. The baby was named Setsko
- 1:15Speaker 1: or Suki for short. Makoto went all out on Suki
- 1:19Speaker 1: as a mother, always buying the tat new dresses, hair accessories,
- 1:23Speaker 1: and all manner of things that would make her squeal
- 1:25Speaker 1: like a deflating balloon to see the baby in. Itachi
- 1:28Speaker 1: and Fugaku didn't really get it, but they were happy
- 1:31Speaker 1: to see Makoto so interested in the new child. Not
- 1:34Speaker 1: to say that she forgot all about Ittachi. No, there
- 1:36Speaker 1: was always a special place in your heart for every
- 1:39Speaker 1: child you gave birth to, and Itachi was the first,
- 1:42Speaker 1: so Itachi always got the same number of nibbles that
- 1:45Speaker 1: Suki did. Makoto even kept a daily journal numbering how
- 1:48Speaker 1: many kisses she gave to both childs to make sure
- 1:51Speaker 1: neither felt left out. This journal keeping only stopped when
- 1:54Speaker 1: Itachi got too old for mom's kisses. Those were Itachi's words,
- 1:59Speaker 1: not Makota. Makoto would happily kiss her kids well into
- 2:02Speaker 1: their forties without even thinking. Heck, she'd kiss her kids
- 2:05Speaker 1: at the same time as her grandkids and even great grandkids.
- 2:08Speaker 1: There was no age when a kiss was weird, at
- 2:11Speaker 1: least not to her. But then again, when she was
- 2:13Speaker 1: a kid, she thought the same as Etachi. It was
- 2:15Speaker 1: strange how age could change you. It seemed that humans
- 2:19Speaker 1: aged forward and then reverse. The older and adult became
- 2:23Speaker 1: the more like a child they ended up even into
- 2:25Speaker 1: their old age. There were many things that elders and
- 2:28Speaker 1: babies shared, like a general lack of hair, lack of teeth,
- 2:31Speaker 1: need for diapers, irritability, daytime sleeps, and a need for
- 2:35Speaker 1: someone else to take care of you. Not that there
- 2:37Speaker 1: was any shame in this. When you've worked all your life,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you deserve to get to be a child again, a
- 2:42Speaker 1: wise child, to say the least, and Makota was getting
- 2:46Speaker 1: a head start. Having been a shanobi for so long
- 2:49Speaker 1: before retiring from motherhood made her feel like she'd lived
- 2:52Speaker 1: five lifetimes in the span of a few short years.
- 2:55Speaker 1: World wars will do that to you. She still had nightmares,
- 2:58Speaker 1: but waking up every day to see her husband and
- 3:01Speaker 1: babies made her forget it all. And now, as she
- 3:03Speaker 1: cradled the little girl in her arms. She knew that
- 3:06Speaker 1: her life was complete. If she died tomorrow, she could
- 3:09Speaker 1: do so happily. How foreshadowing am I right. So as
- 3:13Speaker 1: Setzko grew up, she never felt pressured to be anything
- 3:16Speaker 1: more than what she was. She had a taste for
- 3:18Speaker 1: becoming a shanoby, just as her mom was, but she
- 3:20Speaker 1: never felt that same rivalry with Iachi. As a boy light,
- 3:23Speaker 1: she wasn't compared to Itachi, and she was never expected
- 3:26Speaker 1: to be more than him. Instead, the only person she
- 3:29Speaker 1: ever had to compete with was herself as a girl
- 3:32Speaker 1: living in a misogynistic profession such as being a shanoby,
- 3:35Speaker 1: a profession where girls seemed to be viewed as medics
- 3:38Speaker 1: and were The one exception to excellence was Sunata herself.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Most kunoichi were trained and somewhat expected by their peers
- 3:45Speaker 1: to be mostly for show, to never excel. That was
- 3:49Speaker 1: the fate of most girls anyway, and due to this
- 3:51Speaker 1: they didn't expect Setsiko to be much. However, they were wrong.
- 3:55Speaker 1: She was just as much of a prodigy as before.
- 3:58Speaker 1: The only issue was she wasn't fighting to prove herself
- 4:01Speaker 1: stronger than it Tachi. No, she was fighting to prove
- 4:04Speaker 1: that any woman could be a great shnobi, regardless of
- 4:07Speaker 1: how the world viewed them. She was just as determined
- 4:10Speaker 1: now as ever to be a powerful shinobi. The social
- 4:13Speaker 1: pressures were on her, but not the pressures at home.
- 4:15Speaker 1: She had already declared her intent to become hokage, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: while Fugaku smiled kindly at the words, not yet convinced
- 4:22Speaker 1: of the possibility of the dream, Makoto cheered her daughter
- 4:25Speaker 1: on stick it to him. Setziko, her mother would shout.
- 4:28Speaker 1: But perhaps the one who believed in Setsko the most
- 4:31Speaker 1: was Itachi. Itachi had always been a prodigy himself, but
- 4:35Speaker 1: he never really was interested in becoming hokage, despite that
- 4:38Speaker 1: being what his father, teachers, and everyone around him groomed
- 4:41Speaker 1: him for. Often, Itachi found himself in awe of these
- 4:45Speaker 1: social expectancies. Men were expected to be exceptional, strong, surpassing
- 4:49Speaker 1: the last pressure was bored upon them to prove that
- 4:52Speaker 1: they were the strongest all the while women were expected
- 4:56Speaker 1: to be dainty and girly and holding tea parties quite stereotypical.
- 5:00Speaker 1: The Tachi was indeed glad to be a boy, but
- 5:02Speaker 1: all in all, he did envy the lack of social
- 5:05Speaker 1: pressures that would see him forcing himself to become more
- 5:07Speaker 1: than he thought he could. He did not envy the
- 5:09Speaker 1: lack of opportunity and fair treatment women in the male
- 5:12Speaker 1: dominated workforce had to face, but he did wish that
- 5:15Speaker 1: it wasn't as harsh for men. Expectation wise, these were
- 5:18Speaker 1: the things that he'd often thought about. He craved for
- 5:21Speaker 1: the world to be okay with his best and not
- 5:23Speaker 1: demand more, because that was a quick road to burn out.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And he further craved that his little sister would have
- 5:28Speaker 1: these same opportunities and equal respect as they both worked
- 5:32Speaker 1: the same job. Perhaps folks just weren't ready for that yet,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and so Brotato decided to give set to Goo a
- 5:38Speaker 1: leg up on the competition. Every so often he would
- 5:41Speaker 1: sneak her a technical skill booklet he picked up from
- 5:43Speaker 1: his time in the Unboo. Nothing top secret, of course,
- 5:46Speaker 1: only that which was cleared to be taken home and
- 5:48Speaker 1: even shared with little to no risk to national security.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Suki Ate up these booklets like candy on Halloween, committing
- 5:55Speaker 1: to memory every movement, every hand sign, and every point
- 5:58Speaker 1: in her Chokrushi needed to con she wasn't content with
- 6:01Speaker 1: good enough. She wanted perfection, and while such a thing
- 6:05Speaker 1: was impossible for any human to achieve, she aimed for
- 6:08Speaker 1: it anyway. Aim for the stars, the saying went, though
- 6:11Speaker 1: you could never reach them, your dedication to the task
- 6:13Speaker 1: would see you touch the clouds, which was far higher
- 6:16Speaker 1: than most ever made it. This dedication saw Suki growing
- 6:19Speaker 1: in strength, so much so that by the time she
- 6:22Speaker 1: entered the Academy she had already reached deeply into getting level,
- 6:25Speaker 1: and by the time she was to graduate the academy,
- 6:27Speaker 1: she might have already been considered Tuning level. But I'm
- 6:30Speaker 1: getting way ahead of myself here. Suki's physical growth was impressive,
- 6:35Speaker 1: but her body was not the only thing put under duress,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and this other thing might not have been so good
- 6:40Speaker 1: for her as a person. They say struggles helped to
- 6:43Speaker 1: build character, but this, this was just plain cruel. I'm
- 6:47Speaker 1: sure by now, if any of you have watched Naruto,
- 6:49Speaker 1: you know Saske's story well, and a lot of that
- 6:52Speaker 1: history won't change just because he is now a she.
- 6:55Speaker 1: From the first year of life, Saske was part of
- 6:58Speaker 1: a clan that the village it was seemingly out to get.
- 7:01Speaker 1: The term scapegoat comes to mind. Whenever I think of
- 7:04Speaker 1: the Uchiha one rogue Shanobi's actions. A man with a
- 7:08Speaker 1: sharing goan amidst a world that could have so easily
- 7:11Speaker 1: taken a sharing goan during the war was chosen as
- 7:14Speaker 1: the one to blame for the nine tails attack. That's
- 7:17Speaker 1: pretty messed up social justice at its finest right. Guilty
- 7:21Speaker 1: until proven innocent. The Uchiha were labeled as traders to
- 7:24Speaker 1: the village, The children harassed in schools, the adults distrusted.
- 7:28Speaker 1: The Konaha police force faced protests and riots daily because
- 7:32Speaker 1: they maintained a position of power over the people who
- 7:35Speaker 1: felt that they had betrayed them. Pain begat pain and
- 7:38Speaker 1: anger begat anger. Internal issues within Konoha's governmental system saw
- 7:42Speaker 1: social perception take hold of important decisions based solely upon
- 7:46Speaker 1: personal bias. Some might say there was nobody to blame,
- 7:49Speaker 1: but this isn't true. Just because both sides were screwed
- 7:53Speaker 1: up didn't mean nobody was at fault for their own action.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They were. Konoha and its people mistreated the Uchiha, but
- 7:59Speaker 1: the Uchiha were also little whiny but toot farts as well,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and sort of made the personal decision to overthrow the government.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Gume Hell or high water, and both hell and high
- 8:08Speaker 1: water were on the horizon as many interested nations kept
- 8:11Speaker 1: their eyes in the political landscape, hoping to take a
- 8:14Speaker 1: pound of flesh like a buzzard waiting for an old
- 8:16Speaker 1: wildcat to keel over and die. Everyone knew this. Konoha
- 8:20Speaker 1: knew it, The Uchiha knew it. Everyone so compromises were
- 8:24Speaker 1: being devised. Counters to this new climate of hostility were
- 8:27Speaker 1: being devised by Konoha's leadership as well as select few
- 8:31Speaker 1: powerful individuals within the Uchiha themselves. This resulted in a
- 8:35Speaker 1: plan being cooked up that involved the Tachi Uchih, first
- 8:38Speaker 1: born of the current clan head, as well as his
- 8:41Speaker 1: best friend Shisuwi, the last surviving member of the bloodline
- 8:45Speaker 1: of Kagami Uchih. These two, through the powers of their Sharanghan,
- 8:49Speaker 1: came up with such a wonderful idea that heros In
- 8:52Speaker 1: was sure it would work well. He was cautiously optimistic,
- 8:55Speaker 1: keeping an Ambo detachment at the ready to quell any
- 8:58Speaker 1: uprising before it started. Neither side was really interested in
- 9:02Speaker 1: spilling blood. Frankly, the Uchiha were aiming for a bloodless coup.
- 9:06Speaker 1: While they did dislike the way they were being treated,
- 9:09Speaker 1: they didn't exactly hate heroes in or the others just disagreed.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And while Herazin really sort of disagreed with the path
- 9:15Speaker 1: they were following, he also understood that the Uchih were
- 9:18Speaker 1: being treated badly. Both sides were unwilling adversaries who were
- 9:22Speaker 1: only there due to duty, and it was Iachi and
- 9:25Speaker 1: Shisui's plan to break that stalemates before bloodlessness ended. Stained
- 9:29Speaker 1: crimson with life force. Claim it all as bloodless, however
- 9:33Speaker 1: you want, But when someone's life is on the line,
- 9:35Speaker 1: emotions are running high and you have two groups of
- 9:38Speaker 1: finely skilled assassins, someone will eventually die, and when that happens,
- 9:43Speaker 1: sides will blame each other, and anger will beget anger,
- 9:46Speaker 1: until the bloodless Coup became the Octoberfest of manslaughter. No,
- 9:51Speaker 1: this wasn't going to happen. Not well i Tachi had
- 9:53Speaker 1: a say he would make sure everything ended peacefully. No,
- 9:57Speaker 1: this wasn't going to happen. Not well done. Donzo had
- 10:00Speaker 1: a say he would make sure everything ended in blood,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and so deep systemic clanism took hold, originating from the
- 10:08Speaker 1: problem Hokage himself. Tobirama sends you the same guy who
- 10:12Speaker 1: not only thought the Uchiha were too untrustworthy to ever
- 10:15Speaker 1: hold office, but also learned to desecrate the graves of
- 10:19Speaker 1: his comrades and enemies alike by enslaving their very souls. Donzo,
- 10:23Speaker 1: the stalwart student of Tobirama, was everything Tobirama was if
- 10:28Speaker 1: he had a baby with Madera Uchiha, which Tobirama would
- 10:31Speaker 1: never do. Donzo was everything wrong with the Shinobi world,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and through his manipulation and the double thumbs up of
- 10:38Speaker 1: Obito Uchiha, who had been gunning for some death for
- 10:41Speaker 1: a long time, Itachi's plan was stripped of him through
- 10:44Speaker 1: the death of Shisui, and this new plan of genocide
- 10:47Speaker 1: was stuffed down his throat, telling him that the only
- 10:50Speaker 1: way to ensure World War four didn't break out was
- 10:53Speaker 1: by putting his own clan to the sword. Was Donzo right?
- 10:56Speaker 1: I don't know. That's up to you to decide, but
- 10:59Speaker 1: I'll say this. If Itachi felt there was another way
- 11:02Speaker 1: one Donza would go with. Do you not think that
- 11:05Speaker 1: he would have done that instead? Every story with the
- 11:08Speaker 1: hero needs a villain, and Itachi was the unwilling choice
- 11:12Speaker 1: for villain. To save the world, he had to sacrifice
- 11:14Speaker 1: his honor, his home and everything he loved, being allowed
- 11:18Speaker 1: one piece of solace and knowing that his sister, though
- 11:21Speaker 1: she would hate him, would be able to live in peace,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and so with a little help from a very specific person,
- 11:27Speaker 1: he would complete this mission. The last people he went
- 11:30Speaker 1: to being his own parents, who already expected his decision.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Sitting there in a humble, kneeling position, Fugaku looked like
- 11:37Speaker 1: a samurai ready for sepuku. Makoto had, much like the
- 11:41Speaker 1: wives of samurai of old, tied both of her legs
- 11:44Speaker 1: together to insure a proper dying pose and the presence
- 11:47Speaker 1: of those who found her, as well as for the
- 11:49Speaker 1: sake of her son. Itachi was surprised to see them
- 11:52Speaker 1: so willingly accept it. Tears ran down his face as
- 11:55Speaker 1: he spoke. So you're just going to accept this, he said.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I had hoped that you would hate me, that you
- 12:00Speaker 1: would fight back, you'd kill me. You're our son, Makoto said.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I would never be able to kill one of my children,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Fugaku said, And what if I killed Setsuko? Itachi asked,
- 12:10Speaker 1: What if she's laying in the other room, decapitated, her
- 12:13Speaker 1: blood spilling onto the carpet, staining my blade? Did you
- 12:16Speaker 1: kill her, Fugaku asked. Itachi waited for a moment before speaking, Yes,
- 12:20Speaker 1: I killed her and it felt good. Are you going
- 12:23Speaker 1: to fight me now? No, Makoto said, I don't believe
- 12:26Speaker 1: you did so, And even if you did and enjoyed it,
- 12:28Speaker 1: what punishment could we place on you worse than what
- 12:31Speaker 1: you will already experience living with what you've done. Makoto said,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I do not envy you, Itachi. Fugaku spoke, but damned
- 12:38Speaker 1: if I don't respect you. My son has truly grown
- 12:41Speaker 1: up to become a man. Though we don't see eye
- 12:43Speaker 1: to eye on our politics, I could be no prouder
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the man you've become, willing and able to do
- 12:48Speaker 1: anything and everything you feel is right for your village
- 12:51Speaker 1: at the sake of your own life. Stop praising me,
- 12:54Speaker 1: Itachi said. Fugaku spoke, you're a strong man. I Tachi,
- 12:57Speaker 1: do not falter now. Itachi gripped blade tightly. Do it,
- 13:01Speaker 1: Makoto said, her tone calm and chilling, as though they
- 13:04Speaker 1: eagerly awaited mutilation, as though it brought them joy and
- 13:07Speaker 1: pleasure to be rent apart by cold, uncaring steel. Etachi
- 13:11Speaker 1: wanted to puke. He didn't know how to feel about this.
- 13:14Speaker 1: They were willingly throwing their lives away for him and
- 13:17Speaker 1: forcing him to do the deed all will, holding a
- 13:19Speaker 1: smile on their face. Was this some form of weakness,
- 13:22Speaker 1: a loss of the will to live? Did they think
- 13:25Speaker 1: they were doing a favor for him? He would have
- 13:27Speaker 1: preferred if they'd fight back, so that they might have
- 13:29Speaker 1: a chance to live. If they took him on together,
- 13:32Speaker 1: especially with his father's mongekio, maybe they could win, Maybe
- 13:35Speaker 1: they could survive and disappear with Sensko. But no, they
- 13:38Speaker 1: chose to die, and he was disgusted. Disgusted at their
- 13:42Speaker 1: lack of will. Their kindness to him was an insult,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and despite the love in his heart for them, he
- 13:47Speaker 1: used that disgust as an empowerment. He struck down his
- 13:51Speaker 1: mother first, so that she would be spared of the
- 13:53Speaker 1: sight his father would see. As the blade came down,
- 13:56Speaker 1: red liquid sprayed upon the weapon, upon the walls, the ceiling, carpet,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and last of all, i Tachi. As she fell forward
- 14:04Speaker 1: to the ground, Fugaku's gaze lingered on her lifeless eyes
- 14:07Speaker 1: for a moment before looking ahead. His conviction to die
- 14:10Speaker 1: strengthened all the more he had been separated from friends
- 14:14Speaker 1: and family. Before he had been separated from the firstborn child,
- 14:17Speaker 1: he and Makoto had never told Itachi and Setziko about
- 14:20Speaker 1: and now he was ready, ready to be reunited, and
- 14:24Speaker 1: Iachi would oblige. The disgust the lack of any form
- 14:27Speaker 1: of recoil from Fuganku, the disgust turning to anger, the
- 14:30Speaker 1: anger to hatred. Hatred of his father for putting him
- 14:33Speaker 1: in this position, for not caring enough to fight back,
- 14:36Speaker 1: for not recoiling at the words of Setziko's possible death,
- 14:40Speaker 1: for not recoiling at the sight of his wife's body,
- 14:42Speaker 1: Hatred toward the village for allowing this, Hatred toward Donzo
- 14:47Speaker 1: for causing this, Hatred towards himself for performing this. Looking
- 14:51Speaker 1: down at his father, face twisted in rage, eyes like
- 14:54Speaker 1: a demon, he spoke, you truly deserved this, he said.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You were clan head, and you could have s stopped
- 15:00Speaker 1: this with a wave of your hand and a word
- 15:02Speaker 1: from your lips, but you chose not to all along.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You chose this, just as you now choose death before me,
- 15:08Speaker 1: forcing me to do the one thing you were too
- 15:11Speaker 1: weak to do. I will never forgive myself and I
- 15:14Speaker 1: will never forgive you either, Itachi said. Fugaku then spoke,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I accept this last two words sentence was the cherry
- 15:22Speaker 1: on top, the last thing that pushed Itachi over the edge.
- 15:26Speaker 1: There was no taking this back, no walking back this moment.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Fugaku would die regardless of what he said, and now
- 15:33Speaker 1: the acceptance of Itachi's wrath had done nothing but anger
- 15:36Speaker 1: him more. I want you to hate me, old man.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Go to your grave cursing me. No do it, no
- 15:43Speaker 1: curse my name and die, Itachi shouted. God bless you, Itachi,
- 15:48Speaker 1: May your days be long and your life filled with
- 15:50Speaker 1: every joy imaginable. The worst curse Fugaku could ever utter
- 15:55Speaker 1: upon Itachi had just been said. With the strength that
- 15:58Speaker 1: brought him. I Tachi swung his blade, severing his father's
- 16:01Speaker 1: head from the neck. Blood sprayed everywhere like a geyser.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The head rolled, and for a moment I Tachi thought
- 16:07Speaker 1: he saw it blink. Maybe it was a trick of
- 16:09Speaker 1: the moonlight. It Tachi hoped it was witchcraft, a curse
- 16:13Speaker 1: so potent it would sap him of all health and
- 16:15Speaker 1: light him a flame spontaneously. But no, it was nothing,
- 16:20Speaker 1: not any more. Fugaku was dead. In that moment, I
- 16:24Speaker 1: Tachi considered killing himself too, just to make it all
- 16:26Speaker 1: count a true genocide. But that's when he heard something
- 16:30Speaker 1: behind him. Looking back, he saw her, the little sister
- 16:33Speaker 1: he loved so much, the one he would die for,
- 16:36Speaker 1: the one he would kill for, the one from which
- 16:38Speaker 1: his sanity now dangled by a thread. Setsko, his voice whispered.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Drenched in blood, He must have looked like a monster,
- 16:45Speaker 1: because her eyes gazed upon him with such awe and
- 16:48Speaker 1: terror that I Tachi no longer felt human. It was
- 16:51Speaker 1: as if her terror had transformed him, her imagination, changing
- 16:55Speaker 1: his very form into that which he needed to be
- 16:58Speaker 1: in this moment. Darting through the door her he smashed
- 17:00Speaker 1: into the drywall, leaving an Etachi shaped indentation in it
- 17:04Speaker 1: as she ran as fast as her little legs would
- 17:06Speaker 1: carry her. Sets Go, he shouted as he took one
- 17:09Speaker 1: hop into a skip, before letting his own guilt overtake
- 17:12Speaker 1: his rational thinking. The emotional strain, the inner turmoil. He
- 17:16Speaker 1: had sprung a leak, and everything that could be called
- 17:18Speaker 1: eachi had spilled out onto the floor with his parents' blood.
- 17:22Speaker 1: He was now filled with something new, something dangerous, something
- 17:25Speaker 1: akin to death incarnate. He had become war. He was hatred.
- 17:32Speaker 1: He was the physical embodiment of the Uchiha clan's own
- 17:35Speaker 1: curse of hatred. He was the curse, and as he skipped,
- 17:39Speaker 1: his mind allowed him to smile as though he were
- 17:41Speaker 1: a vampire. He chased down his own sister, blades, still dripping,
- 17:45Speaker 1: chuckling like a madman. She squealed and ran out of
- 17:48Speaker 1: the house, out toward the streets. They were so wide,
- 17:51Speaker 1: so straight, she was left in the open. The opportunity
- 17:54Speaker 1: was too much to resist. Pouring on the speed as
- 17:57Speaker 1: though it were a body flicker, he dashed forward, word
- 18:00Speaker 1: smashing her against the stone wall, pushing the air from
- 18:03Speaker 1: her lungs, lifting her up into the light of a
- 18:05Speaker 1: moon stained red. He craved blood, but as tears dripped
- 18:09Speaker 1: from her eyes and landed upon his cheeks, his mind awakened.
- 18:13Speaker 1: What am I doing? He thought? What am I doing?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Who did I do this for? I did this for you, Setziko,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I did this for you, he thought to himself. Setsko,
- 18:23Speaker 1: he screamed, his emotions having shattered into a thousand pieces,
- 18:26Speaker 1: seeping into the soil along with his dead heart. At
- 18:29Speaker 1: this point, he was just a little boy. Again, younger
- 18:32Speaker 1: in mind than even his sister. She had never seen
- 18:35Speaker 1: her brother cry before, She'd never seen anyone cry like this.
- 18:39Speaker 1: She was startled for a second. Pushing away, she saw
- 18:42Speaker 1: him covered in blood. It Tachi, what did you do?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Why did you do it? He sat there on his knees,
- 18:49Speaker 1: a thick layer of blood covering almost every inch of
- 18:52Speaker 1: his face. At this point, only one of his sharringgon
- 18:55Speaker 1: was a moongekio, spinning clockwise, while his other sharinggan but
- 18:59Speaker 1: a base threemoi, spun counterclockwise. His entire body was trembling.
- 19:04Speaker 1: He seemed so out of it. I'm covered in blood,
- 19:09Speaker 1: he said, as though his entire mind was trying to
- 19:11Speaker 1: block out what he'd just done. He had always known
- 19:14Speaker 1: killing was a part of the job, but he never
- 19:16Speaker 1: knew he would have to kill his own family. The strain,
- 19:20Speaker 1: the stress. He had killed himself too, in that house,
- 19:23Speaker 1: with only a fraction of who he was ever meant
- 19:25Speaker 1: to be surviving, and only living for Setsko, only living
- 19:28Speaker 1: for Konoha. It was as though he'd cast ganjutsu over himself,
- 19:32Speaker 1: as though he forgot entirely what he had done. Sister,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm scared, he said. She pulled a handkerchief from her
- 19:39Speaker 1: pocket and began to wipe the blood from his face
- 19:41Speaker 1: and from his hands, trying desperately to get him to
- 19:44Speaker 1: calm down. She didn't have time to think about her family,
- 19:47Speaker 1: only to think about her brother, and right now he
- 19:49Speaker 1: was in immense pain. What had caused this? The entire
- 19:53Speaker 1: clan was dead and it was Eachi alone who did this?
- 19:56Speaker 1: How was this even possible? What had driven him to this?
- 20:00Speaker 1: How could he do it? These were the questions she
- 20:02Speaker 1: needed answers to, though a part of her doubted that
- 20:05Speaker 1: he could ever truly answer this question. It tacI, why
- 20:09Speaker 1: did you do it? Do what? He asked? Kill everyone?
- 20:12Speaker 1: She shouted, a hint of her own anger peeking through,
- 20:15Speaker 1: causing him to jump Kill everyone, he repeated, as suddenly
- 20:19Speaker 1: a memory flashed into his head. I looking behind Suki,
- 20:23Speaker 1: he noticed the man and the tiger mask staring at him. No,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Itachi shouted as he pulled Setsko into his embrace. No,
- 20:30Speaker 1: he shouted as the man drew closer. The masked man
- 20:33Speaker 1: looked down upon I Tachi and growled, Is this your sister?
- 20:36Speaker 1: He asked? Are you going to kill her? Or shall? I?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Setsko shivered at the words with a muffled gasp. I
- 20:43Speaker 1: Tachi's single active mongek yo suddenly flared, attempting to set
- 20:47Speaker 1: the man on fire, though he missed and now set
- 20:49Speaker 1: alight the home of their late neighbor. So this is
- 20:52Speaker 1: the thanks I get for doing all the heavy lifting. Shame.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You are a shame, a shame to your village, to
- 20:59Speaker 1: your clan, to me. You aren't strong enough to stop
- 21:02Speaker 1: this from happening, and you weren't strong enough to complete
- 21:05Speaker 1: the task without smashing your own superego and with it
- 21:08Speaker 1: everything that you are. I don't know how much of
- 21:11Speaker 1: Itachi's even still left in there for me to use,
- 21:14Speaker 1: but perhaps I can put you back together again. With
- 21:16Speaker 1: a glint of his sharrghan, the man cast a powerful
- 21:19Speaker 1: genjutsu over Itachi, forcing him to pass out. As he
- 21:22Speaker 1: fell back to the ground, Setsko stood there. She wanted
- 21:25Speaker 1: to go to his side to check up on him,
- 21:27Speaker 1: but before she could move, her whole body seized up
- 21:29Speaker 1: in terror. Unable to move anything but her mind, she
- 21:32Speaker 1: felt as though the devil himself were in the room,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and perhaps he was. Obito stepped forward, moving like a ghost,
- 21:38Speaker 1: to look down in Itachi before turning to the girl
- 21:41Speaker 1: and lifting her up by the neck. She struggled and
- 21:43Speaker 1: cried and begged for her life. None of this mattered
- 21:46Speaker 1: to the masked man in the slightest as he looked
- 21:48Speaker 1: down on Itachi, he thought about how useful Setsko might
- 21:51Speaker 1: be one day to his plans as the last uchiha
- 21:54Speaker 1: and as the sister of Iachi. So long as she lived,
- 21:58Speaker 1: so too would i Tachi's need to protect And if
- 22:01Speaker 1: protecting her meant serving him, maybe this would all be
- 22:04Speaker 1: worth it. By this, the trauma of the night and
- 22:07Speaker 1: the turmoil caused by this whole situation had awakened her
- 22:10Speaker 1: sharing gon in spades, already developing the flower pattern within,
- 22:14Speaker 1: denoting the awakening of a power so great that few
- 22:17Speaker 1: children had ever been able to use its power, already
- 22:20Speaker 1: developing a mongek yo sharingan well, aren't you full of surprises?
- 22:25Speaker 1: The girl had such great power in her eyes, though
- 22:27Speaker 1: could not use it, not yet. She had yet to
- 22:30Speaker 1: explore them, yet to calm down long enough to listen
- 22:33Speaker 1: to them, to tell her how to use them, or
- 22:35Speaker 1: what they did. The man looked at them for a second,
- 22:38Speaker 1: considering whether it was worth it to let either of
- 22:40Speaker 1: them live. Or to just take their mongekyo sharingn for himself.
- 22:44Speaker 1: He made a decision that what mattered most of all
- 22:47Speaker 1: was playing the long game. After all, he always knew
- 22:49Speaker 1: where Setsko was and would always know where he Tachi was.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Maybe it was more profitable to let them live, and
- 22:56Speaker 1: if so, then that's what he would do. However, he
- 22:59Speaker 1: wouldn't be letting them remain the way they were. Itachi
- 23:02Speaker 1: had already expressed his wish that she would hate him,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and that's exactly what Obito would ensure she did. With
- 23:08Speaker 1: a single glance, he would cast her under genjutsu, which
- 23:11Speaker 1: would allow him to enter her mind. When he had,
- 23:14Speaker 1: he used his visual prowess to convince her mind that
- 23:17Speaker 1: everything about I Tachi's mental breakdown was unimportant info, and
- 23:20Speaker 1: convinced it to immediately and irrevocably forget that moment, effectively
- 23:25Speaker 1: erasing all of her memories of Etachi's outburst of pain,
- 23:29Speaker 1: replacing it instead with a twisted image of him threatening her,
- 23:32Speaker 1: telling her that he'd be back for her eyes one day.
- 23:35Speaker 1: He suggested this memory to her mind and let it
- 23:38Speaker 1: fill in the blanks as best it could, even letting
- 23:40Speaker 1: it use him as a basis for it to build
- 23:43Speaker 1: a figure of Iachi around. With her, now completely unconscious,
- 23:46Speaker 1: Obito dropped her to the ground. Turning to Iachi, he
- 23:49Speaker 1: lifted him up. Let's see if we can't recontextualize some
- 23:53Speaker 1: of your memories as well. See if we can't sweep
- 23:55Speaker 1: you up and glue your fragments back together, you crazy bastard,
- 24:00Speaker 1: And with that he disappeared into his Kammowe realm with Iachi.
- 24:03Speaker 1: To say that Obito was annoyed was an understatement. The
- 24:06Speaker 1: drama of it all. This was how he could tell
- 24:09Speaker 1: how young Itachi was, because only a young person could
- 24:12Speaker 1: be so irrationally emotional. Obito would know because he was
- 24:16Speaker 1: like that once, the difference being he didn't need anyone's
- 24:19Speaker 1: help picking up the pieces. He cleaned up his own
- 24:22Speaker 1: broken personality and formed it into something new, completely reinventing
- 24:27Speaker 1: himself from the ground up. And he did it all
- 24:29Speaker 1: by himself, and now it seemed he would have to
- 24:32Speaker 1: do the same for Itachi. But that was okay because
- 24:35Speaker 1: it meant that Obito would get to set the parameters
- 24:37Speaker 1: for who Itachi was, and that he would ensure that
- 24:40Speaker 1: nobody but he would give orders to Iachi. In the end,
- 24:44Speaker 1: maybe this was for the best. Not only had he
- 24:47Speaker 1: eradicated the clan that posed the most threat, but he
- 24:50Speaker 1: also gained a useful new puppet. Itachi was a strong
- 24:54Speaker 1: sharing gun user, and with this power he would be
- 24:56Speaker 1: able to set the table in his own favor. If
- 24:59Speaker 1: he were to borrow a phrase from another manga franchise,
- 25:02Speaker 1: he would be the one to take the left napkin.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Pain in turn, would also be forced to take the
- 25:08Speaker 1: left napkin. Everything was moving according to plan, and soon
- 25:12Speaker 1: nobody would be able to stop him from achieving his goals. Setsko,
- 25:15Speaker 1: on the other hand, didn't wake up for quite some time.
- 25:18Speaker 1: The Abu rushed in not long after. With the death
- 25:21Speaker 1: of Shisue, it had been decided that the best way
- 25:23Speaker 1: they could deal with this would be arresting the heads
- 25:26Speaker 1: of the klan for the time being, But upon entering
- 25:29Speaker 1: the compound, even the emotionally controlled Anbu were startled by
- 25:33Speaker 1: the brutality of what they'd seen. Searching the compound, they
- 25:36Speaker 1: began to wonder who could have done this. They searched
- 25:38Speaker 1: for any survivors, but found none until they found Setsko.
- 25:43Speaker 1: We got a live one one of the shnobi called
- 25:45Speaker 1: medical Abu showed up to check her out. Hey, sweetie, sweetie,
- 25:49Speaker 1: can you hear me? Setsko began to cry, are you hurt?
- 25:52Speaker 1: Can you tell us who did this? Why? Itachi? She asked,
- 25:56Speaker 1: why did you do with this? The Ambu was startled.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Itachi did this all of this by himself? Why? Setziko
- 26:04Speaker 1: could not answer. She was in too much shock to
- 26:06Speaker 1: be coherent. We're gonna help you, okay, sweetie, the Onnboo
- 26:10Speaker 1: nurse said. She looked to her comrades. We need to
- 26:12Speaker 1: get this girl to a hospital, and so that's what
- 26:14Speaker 1: they did. Setsko was transported to the nearest hospital, where
- 26:18Speaker 1: she underwent intensive scans and physicals to ensure that she
- 26:21Speaker 1: was healthy. She had a couple cracked ribs and a
- 26:24Speaker 1: few bruised vertebrae, but other than that, physically she was okay.
- 26:28Speaker 1: But mentally she was shattered, reliving the same events over
- 26:32Speaker 1: and over and over again on an endless loop without stop.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Whenever they managed to get her to sleep, she'd have
- 26:38Speaker 1: nightmares about it. Whenever she was awake, she couldn't help
- 26:41Speaker 1: thinking about it. She stopped eating for about a week.
- 26:44Speaker 1: They had to keep her fed via IV. Professional psychologists
- 26:48Speaker 1: within Konoha's ranks rushed to her aid in hopes of
- 26:51Speaker 1: not only helping the girl to cope, but also getting
- 26:53Speaker 1: proper intelligence in what she saw. Slowly, but surely, they
- 26:57Speaker 1: made progress. Setsko was changed for the worst day, no
- 27:01Speaker 1: longer herself. She would never allow herself to cry ever again.
- 27:05Speaker 1: She promised that and what was to be her dream.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Her hopes of being Hokage was completely and totally dashed.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Her new dream was a simple one, kill e Tachi
- 27:15Speaker 1: and restore the clan. From that point forward, she focused
- 27:19Speaker 1: so hard on her training that it was hardly even funny.
- 27:22Speaker 1: There was no time for play, no time for friends.
- 27:25Speaker 1: If her nose wasn't buried in a book reading up
- 27:27Speaker 1: on technical abilities, she was nose deep in the dirt,
- 27:30Speaker 1: putting those skills to use. She challenged other kids and
- 27:33Speaker 1: even adults to fights, picking fights with anyone she thought
- 27:36Speaker 1: she could antagonize enough to get a negative response from.
- 27:38Speaker 1: How many times had she ended up beaten? How many
- 27:40Speaker 1: times did she end up in the hospital, Perhaps too
- 27:43Speaker 1: many to count. She zoomed through the academy as if
- 27:45Speaker 1: it were nothing to her, But she never took time
- 27:48Speaker 1: to make friends. Nobody ever wanted to even try, for
- 27:51Speaker 1: fear that she would turn on them and beat them up.
- 27:53Speaker 1: So her life became quite lonely. But as she was
- 27:56Speaker 1: looking out the window one day, contemplating her goals and
- 27:58Speaker 1: how she would achieve them, someone walked up to her
- 28:01Speaker 1: desk and stood there. As she looked up, she saw
- 28:03Speaker 1: a young man with blonde hair and a large smile
- 28:06Speaker 1: standing there. Hi, I'm Naruto. Do you mind if I
- 28:09Speaker 1: sit with you? Gentle kind sweet the taste of ramen on. Damn,
- 28:16Speaker 1: this is so hard to write the taste of ramen
- 28:19Speaker 1: on The lips Naruto and Suki's lips were pressed against
- 28:22Speaker 1: each other. Sorry to ruin the moment, but I need
- 28:24Speaker 1: a second to catch the dry heaving hmmm. Okay. Suki
- 28:28Speaker 1: was shocked when she came to the Valley of the End.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She came here to kill, to kill everything, her past,
- 28:34Speaker 1: her heart, anyone who would stand in her way. And
- 28:37Speaker 1: even now, as the mark on her neck burned, her
- 28:40Speaker 1: visage transmorgified into the shape of a demon, an embodiment
- 28:44Speaker 1: of trauma and years of hatred, spilling out like liquid
- 28:47Speaker 1: flames from the lake of fire upon her flesh. And
- 28:50Speaker 1: despite this, despite the monster, she was the hand gripping
- 28:54Speaker 1: the kunei was restrained her back, gently and lovingly, supported
- 28:58Speaker 1: by an open palm and a pair of lips without words,
- 29:02Speaker 1: swearing now not to abandon the one they cared about most.
- 29:06Speaker 1: What was this feeling? This feeling was a lie. That's
- 29:09Speaker 1: what she told herself all her life. She told herself.
- 29:12Speaker 1: That told herself that love was a lie and a
- 29:15Speaker 1: convenient cover forgetting what you wanted out of someone else,
- 29:18Speaker 1: a selfish security that, regardless of what they said in actuality,
- 29:23Speaker 1: all they cared about was using you. Men used you,
- 29:27Speaker 1: claimed to love you and then took the best parts
- 29:29Speaker 1: of you, and ran. Siblings used you, claimed they would
- 29:33Speaker 1: protect you, and then were the ones who hurt you.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Most parents claimed to love you, saying they would never
- 29:38Speaker 1: leave you, and then would kick you out of the
- 29:40Speaker 1: house when you were old enough to go. It was
- 29:43Speaker 1: all a lie. And yet right now there was something else.
- 29:46Speaker 1: She tasted on his lips. Blood. She had stabbed him
- 29:50Speaker 1: over six times with this kuni in her hand, and
- 29:53Speaker 1: yet he was still kissing her. For all she knew,
- 29:56Speaker 1: he was on death's door, his knees quaking, his chuck,
- 30:00Speaker 1: struggling to keep him on the surface of the water,
- 30:02Speaker 1: stepping back with a smile on his face, his eyes
- 30:05Speaker 1: slightly glazed, as though staring through a haze, weakly speaking
- 30:09Speaker 1: I love you, I'll always love you, and then he
- 30:12Speaker 1: fell back. Setsko dropped the kunai and reached out, slowing
- 30:16Speaker 1: the fall into the water, laying him there gently coming
- 30:19Speaker 1: to his side, she was conflicted deep within. She wanted
- 30:23Speaker 1: to curse him, tell him how badly she hated him,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and yet she wanted to cry, seeing what she had
- 30:29Speaker 1: done to his body, the deep wounds, the tearing away
- 30:32Speaker 1: of flesh in an attempt to end his life, and
- 30:35Speaker 1: now as he lay there defenseless, she was unable to decide.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Was this a calculated effort, playing on her emotions because
- 30:42Speaker 1: he knew he could never win. His eyes rested on
- 30:45Speaker 1: her with a smile. If you really must go to
- 30:48Speaker 1: a rochi maru to get strong enough to face i
- 30:50Speaker 1: tachi to heal, then I'll be with you, even if
- 30:53Speaker 1: only in spirit, he said, before the darkness consumed him.
- 30:57Speaker 1: In terror, Suki reached down to check for a heart beat,
- 31:00Speaker 1: and when one wasn't detected, she began to work to
- 31:03Speaker 1: revive him, dragging him to the shore and performing chest compressions.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Come on, damn you, she shouted, pressing his chest thirty
- 31:09Speaker 1: times before clamping his nose, sticking her mouth to his
- 31:12Speaker 1: and pushing into breaths. She then went back to the
- 31:15Speaker 1: same chest compressions all over again, repeating the cycle for minutes,
- 31:19Speaker 1: but when nothing seemed to be happening, she took drastic measures.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Placing her hand against his chest right over his heart.
- 31:26Speaker 1: She cried out Chidori, funneling lightning nature to her hands
- 31:30Speaker 1: with enough energy to stimulate but not fry. It was
- 31:33Speaker 1: then that she detected a pulse. Pulling her pack open,
- 31:36Speaker 1: she found some bandages and began to bind his wounds
- 31:39Speaker 1: to ensure he didn't bleed out. Once she was done,
- 31:42Speaker 1: she pulled his coat back over him to keep him
- 31:44Speaker 1: warm before exhaustion, physical and emotional took over. Resting her
- 31:48Speaker 1: head on his chest to catch her breath, she sat
- 31:51Speaker 1: silently before looking up at him. You wait for me,
- 31:54Speaker 1: she demanded of him. Wait for me, and I'll be
- 31:56Speaker 1: back for you one day. She stood and began to
- 31:59Speaker 1: rush off. As she ran, she thought back to the
- 32:01Speaker 1: day she met him, how he sat beside her that
- 32:04Speaker 1: day in the academy when everyone avoided her for fear
- 32:07Speaker 1: she would hurt them. He approached regardless, There's no way
- 32:10Speaker 1: you can hurt me more than everyone else already has.
- 32:13Speaker 1: What a cheesy pickup line, and yet it worked. Whether
- 32:16Speaker 1: it was fate or some machination thought up by Naruto
- 32:20Speaker 1: or the powers that be, they ended up on the
- 32:22Speaker 1: same team together, under Kakashi training their hardest, they faced
- 32:26Speaker 1: trials and tribulations together. Setziko had almost died when she
- 32:30Speaker 1: was facing Hakku on that bridge. In the subtle lucidity
- 32:33Speaker 1: of her semi conscious state, she heard Naruto breaking down
- 32:36Speaker 1: over her, threatening to kill Haku. She felt a warmth
- 32:40Speaker 1: in her like flaming chakra. Despite the bitter cold brought
- 32:43Speaker 1: on by Hawku's ice release, Setsiko had been warmed by Naruto.
- 32:47Speaker 1: She had thought she might die. She never understood why
- 32:51Speaker 1: she did that. Love didn't really exist in a selfless manner,
- 32:54Speaker 1: so why did she do this? Was it out of
- 32:57Speaker 1: a desire for love to be real? Was this cell
- 33:00Speaker 1: fish in the way that she needed to be wrong
- 33:02Speaker 1: to be happy? These were questions that kept her up
- 33:04Speaker 1: a few nights after, and when they got back to
- 33:07Speaker 1: the village, the questions persisted. Fear crept in. She wanted
- 33:11Speaker 1: love to be real, but if it were real, it
- 33:14Speaker 1: caused everything she dreamed to suddenly be meaningless. She hated
- 33:17Speaker 1: the indecision she was facing. When the chune In exams started,
- 33:21Speaker 1: she and the rest of the team had entered in
- 33:23Speaker 1: hopes of proving themselves strong enough to be included in
- 33:26Speaker 1: higher tier missions within the Forest of Death. As Suki
- 33:29Speaker 1: was about to give into fear in the face of
- 33:31Speaker 1: a Rochi Maru, a legendary missing nin, it was Naruto
- 33:34Speaker 1: who kept her focused, telling her that she needed to
- 33:37Speaker 1: be stronger. Despite his own fear, Naruto moved in to
- 33:40Speaker 1: defend her, even to the point of coming between her
- 33:43Speaker 1: and a Rochi Maru, which resulted in the Old Snake
- 33:46Speaker 1: adding the five element seal to Naruto's pre existing one.
- 33:50Speaker 1: This limited Naruto's strength and left him unconscious for a time.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It was during this time that Setsko gained the curse mark.
- 33:56Speaker 1: They were both out of it, but when Setziko awakened,
- 33:58Speaker 1: she witnessed Naruto's standing above her, looking on nervously. Are
- 34:02Speaker 1: you okay, he asked, I'm fine, But what about you?
- 34:05Speaker 1: She asked in regards to his seal. Naruto showed it
- 34:08Speaker 1: to her, a new set of black markings appeared like
- 34:11Speaker 1: five flames wound the original seal. It's different now, and
- 34:16Speaker 1: I'm having a hard time accessing my chokra in general,
- 34:18Speaker 1: let alone the nine tails is. She seemed concerned, so
- 34:21Speaker 1: Naruto offered a smile to reassure her. From here on,
- 34:24Speaker 1: the rest of the tune in exams came about, and
- 34:27Speaker 1: Setziko made it to her fight with Gara. Since then
- 34:29Speaker 1: she had trained with Kakashi, as Naruto had trained with Juriah,
- 34:32Speaker 1: who managed to remove that restriction on his seal. But
- 34:35Speaker 1: during her battle with Gara, Suki found that wounding Ghara
- 34:39Speaker 1: sent him into a frenzy. The entire village came under
- 34:42Speaker 1: attack by Arochimru, and in the process of the attack,
- 34:45Speaker 1: the hokage was killed. Suki had been chasing Ghara down,
- 34:49Speaker 1: but when she cornered him, she realized she bit off
- 34:52Speaker 1: more than she could chew, and even her best, most
- 34:55Speaker 1: desperate of all measures failed to destroy him. Just before
- 34:58Speaker 1: death came for her, though Naruto arrived first and beat
- 35:01Speaker 1: the rogue Jingjerokee back. Suki was caught between two feelings here,
- 35:05Speaker 1: a feeling of swooning due to Naruto rescuing her, but
- 35:08Speaker 1: also the feeling of despair because Naruto had to rescue her.
- 35:12Speaker 1: How could she ever surpass Iachi when she couldn't even
- 35:15Speaker 1: surpass Naruto. This question became all the more upsetting when
- 35:18Speaker 1: Itachi came back to town, specifically to find Naruto, and
- 35:22Speaker 1: faced Suki again. Suki had tried her best to take
- 35:25Speaker 1: him by surprise, knowing her strength was far from enough
- 35:28Speaker 1: to destroy him head on, but in that moment, she
- 35:31Speaker 1: thought it didn't matter. Being direct wasn't needed. Only the
- 35:34Speaker 1: end mattered. Itachi's end, and Iachi caught her, humiliated, her,
- 35:39Speaker 1: tortured her. It was in that moment that everything changed.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Everything that had dulled with time. Every wound was reopened,
- 35:47Speaker 1: and even Naruto's kindness couldn't close them again. With the
- 35:50Speaker 1: sound fore cornering her and offering power, there was no
- 35:53Speaker 1: other choice in her mind, and even now, as she
- 35:56Speaker 1: fled away from the wounded Naruto quickly moving to the
- 35:59Speaker 1: village in the sound, Suki couldn't help but make that decision.
- 36:03Speaker 1: She would eventually return to Konoha to be with Naruto,
- 36:06Speaker 1: but not until she could be sure Itachi was dead
- 36:09Speaker 1: and her clan avenged then she could focus on rebuilding
- 36:13Speaker 1: her clan through birthing the next generation. And as corny
- 36:16Speaker 1: as it sounded, she secretly hoped that Naruto would be
- 36:19Speaker 1: the one to help her do that. Only he understood her,
- 36:22Speaker 1: and only he was worthy to help, But that was
- 36:24Speaker 1: for later. As she crossed the border into what had
- 36:27Speaker 1: once been the land of rice patties, she knew that
- 36:29Speaker 1: she would soon reach the hidden village a rochi maru
- 36:32Speaker 1: had formed with no other choice but to grow stronger
- 36:35Speaker 1: than she was. Her potential would carry her through every
- 36:38Speaker 1: glass ceiling until she hit the sky. Like Willy Wonka.
- 36:41Speaker 1: The future was laid bare for her, and all she
- 36:44Speaker 1: had to do was take it. All she needed was
- 36:46Speaker 1: the courage, and leaving Naruto behind was the first display
- 36:50Speaker 1: of that courage. She would return, but only after she
- 36:54Speaker 1: accomplished her mission. Now was the time to forget everything
- 36:57Speaker 1: else and dedicate herself only to sell improvement, no matter
- 37:01Speaker 1: the cost. After arriving at the village hidden in the sound,
- 37:05Speaker 1: she found a Rochi Maru there. Though he looked far
- 37:08Speaker 1: from the same man he was only a few weeks earlier,
- 37:11Speaker 1: possessing a different hair type. Entirely it was the strangest,
- 37:15Speaker 1: oddest thing she had ever seen. In his fear of
- 37:18Speaker 1: death and his obsession with immortality, he was becoming something
- 37:22Speaker 1: outside of human, and she didn't know if that scared
- 37:26Speaker 1: her or if instead should scare a Rochi Maru himself.
- 37:30Speaker 1: He was just a man in the body of another person,
- 37:33Speaker 1: a parasite leeching off the power of someone else, and
- 37:36Speaker 1: Setsko knew that he would more than likely target her next.
- 37:40Speaker 1: After all, she was one of the last legitimate bearers
- 37:43Speaker 1: of the Sharanghan. There's no way he would pass this up.
- 37:47Speaker 1: After all, there was no doubt a cost to this training.
- 37:50Speaker 1: But hopefully she'd be able to grow just strong enough
- 37:53Speaker 1: that she might kill a Rochi Maru before he killed her.
- 37:57Speaker 1: But then again, that would require high potential and dedicate,
- 38:00Speaker 1: and she was planning to show him both. Setsiko started
- 38:03Speaker 1: her training attempting to grow strength, muscle, and chakra reserves.
- 38:08Speaker 1: On top of the daily physical training, she relied on
- 38:10Speaker 1: various drugs to boost the gains she received from them.
- 38:14Speaker 1: For years, she trained under a Rochi Maru, focusing not
- 38:17Speaker 1: only on strength in chakra, but also on skill and technique.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Muscle and power meant nothing if you didn't know how
- 38:23Speaker 1: to use them, and she desperately wanted to be able
- 38:26Speaker 1: to use it to destroy the men who killed her clan.
- 38:29Speaker 1: As she trained, she would befriend others within the group. Karin,
- 38:32Speaker 1: a scientist that a Rochimru had taken in due to
- 38:35Speaker 1: her intellectual potential. Despite the fact that she was not
- 38:38Speaker 1: a viable candidate for his spirit transfer technique, she was
- 38:42Speaker 1: intelligent enough to be able to help him conduct experiments
- 38:45Speaker 1: that would see him gaining all ninjutsu in the world.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Besides her, Setsiko met Suegetsu, a young fellow from Kidi
- 38:51Speaker 1: with the peculiar ability to turn his body from a
- 38:54Speaker 1: solid into a liquid at will. His dreams of wanting
- 38:58Speaker 1: to become a member of the Seven Ninjas the Swordsmen
- 39:00Speaker 1: were very entertaining, and through their training together, Setziko found
- 39:04Speaker 1: herself growing even more technical. Finally, there was Jugo, and
- 39:08Speaker 1: Jugo was perhaps the most intriguing of the bunch. He
- 39:11Speaker 1: was a man of a certain clan that possessed the
- 39:13Speaker 1: ability to naturally draw in natural energy. He had a
- 39:17Speaker 1: naturally gentle spirit, but due to his own inability to
- 39:20Speaker 1: control his power, it resulted in him having violent episodes
- 39:23Speaker 1: where he'd become a danger to any and all around him.
- 39:26Speaker 1: It was this power that spawned the curse marks that
- 39:29Speaker 1: they used. He was the original template from which all
- 39:33Speaker 1: cursemarks came from, and due to that, he was stronger.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But that didn't stop Sexiko. Even though he was dangerous
- 39:39Speaker 1: and though he on occasion attacked her, Setziko found herself
- 39:42Speaker 1: befriending this man, admiring his love for nature and his
- 39:45Speaker 1: determination to become in control of his emotions, to the
- 39:49Speaker 1: point where he would volunteer to work for a Rochi
- 39:51Speaker 1: Maru just to achieve it. Setsiko saw a lot of
- 39:54Speaker 1: herself and these three, which is why they became so close.
- 39:58Speaker 1: For about three years, she trained with Rochi Maru. Towards
- 40:01Speaker 1: the end of it, though she found herself about to
- 40:03Speaker 1: be attacked by an odd boy from the Ambou. Setsko
- 40:06Speaker 1: had gotten lucky. She was asleep when he approached, but
- 40:09Speaker 1: it seemed that he hesitated, which allowed her to pacify him.
- 40:12Speaker 1: As the base that she was staying at began to
- 40:15Speaker 1: come apart, she rendezvoued with a Rochi Maru inside. It
- 40:18Speaker 1: was then that she realized that she had been tracked
- 40:20Speaker 1: down by Konoha's forces led by Naruto. As she stood there,
- 40:24Speaker 1: she spoke, Naruto, why did you come? Naruto smiled, I
- 40:29Speaker 1: came to rescue you. I don't need rescuing, she said.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I already told you. I'm not going to stop until
- 40:35Speaker 1: I kille Tachi. She said. Her mongek yo sharing got active.
- 40:38Speaker 1: She was attempting to scare him off, but Naruto saw
- 40:41Speaker 1: right through her. You won't use it. You won't use
- 40:43Speaker 1: amatarasu on me, he said. She grit her teeth and
- 40:46Speaker 1: clenched her fists. Indeed, she wouldn't, but she didn't want
- 40:49Speaker 1: him to know that. Come Setsko, we've wasted more than
- 40:53Speaker 1: enough time here, a rochi maru said, Naruto raised a hand.
- 40:57Speaker 1: What did it mean? Was he hoping to get her attention?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Or was he simply waving goodbye? Suki couldn't know and
- 41:03Speaker 1: didn't care. She turned and ran alongside a rochi maru
- 41:06Speaker 1: in Kabato. She needed to be sure she squeezed all
- 41:09Speaker 1: manner of usefulness out of a rochi maru before she left. That,
- 41:12Speaker 1: and she also needed to kill him before going. Frankly,
- 41:15Speaker 1: she didn't know how much longer she had, so when
- 41:18Speaker 1: a rochi Maru's teachings seemed to slow down. When he
- 41:20Speaker 1: wasn't teaching her anything complicated or special anymore, she assumed
- 41:24Speaker 1: she had hit the plateau to what a Rochi Maru's
- 41:27Speaker 1: teachings could provide, and so she made her move. She
- 41:30Speaker 1: broke through into the bedroom where a Rochi Maru lay sick.
- 41:33Speaker 1: His body was rejecting him, and it was time for
- 41:36Speaker 1: him to jump into another. Setsko knew that the body
- 41:39Speaker 1: he would choose would be hers, so she decided that
- 41:42Speaker 1: since he would come for her anyway, she wanted the
- 41:45Speaker 1: first move to be hers, and so she snuck into
- 41:48Speaker 1: the room with a Roachi Maru, and there, before he
- 41:50Speaker 1: had time to retaliate, she slew him, Or so she thought.
- 41:54Speaker 1: He took on the form of a mass of snakes,
- 41:56Speaker 1: ready to consume her and become her. So this is
- 42:00Speaker 1: your true form, huh. I'd be afraid of committing murder,
- 42:02Speaker 1: but then again, I'm pretty sure you can only murder
- 42:05Speaker 1: a human, and you're far from that, she said. Arochimru
- 42:08Speaker 1: tried to cast her under genjutsu and consume her, but
- 42:11Speaker 1: in return, Setsko cast him under genjutsu instead, and then,
- 42:15Speaker 1: as he was unable to fight, she cast a matarasu,
- 42:17Speaker 1: burning the slither of snakes to ashes. She then linked
- 42:21Speaker 1: up with her friends korem, Swegetsu, and Jugo. The four
- 42:24Speaker 1: of them set out to face I Tachi, but along
- 42:26Speaker 1: the way, Setsiko is confronted by Toby and Data. Due
- 42:30Speaker 1: to her mongek yo shargan though and her ability to
- 42:33Speaker 1: control the flames of Amatarasu, she proves that Datera's explosives
- 42:36Speaker 1: are ultimately meaningless against her, as she can just set
- 42:39Speaker 1: them aflame and blow them up before Data has the
- 42:42Speaker 1: chance to use them. Further, she learns that lightning release
- 42:45Speaker 1: can deactivate the explosives, meaning Setsko has many ways to counter.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Even when Dada takes flight, Setsko's second stage cursemark allows
- 42:53Speaker 1: her to fly. Considering that Setsko has so many counters
- 42:56Speaker 1: to Datora's abilities, she finds defeating him to be somewhat easy.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Having killed Datara, she moves on, eventually finding an Okotsky hideout. Inside,
- 43:05Speaker 1: they find I Tachi, or at least a clone of him.
- 43:08Speaker 1: After a short match, Itachi seems proud of how much
- 43:11Speaker 1: Setsko has grown. In return, he tells her where to
- 43:14Speaker 1: find the real hymn and asks her to come alone.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Setsko obliges and finds him in the old Uchiha hideout.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Entering in, she sees Iachi there, but instead of seeming
- 43:23Speaker 1: concerned or antagonistic, he seems almost glad. He smiles melancholically
- 43:28Speaker 1: and speaks, my you've grown so much. You've become a
- 43:32Speaker 1: beautiful young woman, Setsiko, you look just like our mother.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Save it, weasel, Suki said, I didn't come here to
- 43:38Speaker 1: let you manipulate me into giving you what you want.
- 43:40Speaker 1: What I huh? You want my eyes so that the
- 43:44Speaker 1: light in yours will never go out. But I won't
- 43:46Speaker 1: give them up to you, not without a fight. Itachi
- 43:48Speaker 1: seemed confused. He never asked for her eyes, He never
- 43:52Speaker 1: wanted them. Who told you I wanted these things? He asked,
- 43:55Speaker 1: you did the night you killed everyone? You said that
- 43:57Speaker 1: you wanted to take my eyes. Itachi looks back at
- 44:00Speaker 1: that night and thought about it. Did I say that? Really?
- 44:03Speaker 1: He questioned, the whole night somewhat of a blur. Looking
- 44:06Speaker 1: back to her, he stood, Setsko, I don't want to
- 44:09Speaker 1: take your eyes. I merely wanted to speak with you
- 44:11Speaker 1: and tell you save it. There's nothing that you can
- 44:14Speaker 1: say or do that's going to stop me from taking vengeance.
- 44:16Speaker 1: I'll avenge the clan I loved, and I'll destroy you
- 44:19Speaker 1: for betraying the love I gave you. That last phrase
- 44:22Speaker 1: cut into Iachi like a knife. He had done that,
- 44:25Speaker 1: he had betrayed her, and as he looked at her,
- 44:27Speaker 1: old feelings returning the knight that once was so hazy,
- 44:31Speaker 1: the things his mind attempted to block out began to return,
- 44:34Speaker 1: and with it knowledge of what happened. Setsko, he said,
- 44:38Speaker 1: as he thought about it, do you truly know what
- 44:40Speaker 1: happened that night? I do you killed everyone? Itachi nodded,
- 44:44Speaker 1: You're correct, I did. But do you understand why I
- 44:47Speaker 1: killed everyone? For what reason? I would slaughter everyone we love?
- 44:51Speaker 1: Setsko seemed distraught. I never knew, I always wondered and
- 44:55Speaker 1: questioned it. Itachi sat there silently for a moment before
- 44:58Speaker 1: finally speaking, I did it for you. The words hit
- 45:02Speaker 1: like an eighteen wheeler me. When did I ever ask
- 45:05Speaker 1: you to murder my parents, my family, she shouted, demanding
- 45:09Speaker 1: an answer from the man. When you were too young
- 45:11Speaker 1: to understand? The village came under attack by the Nine Tails,
- 45:14Speaker 1: and the assault was not random. The eye of the
- 45:16Speaker 1: sharinggan was seen reflected in the iris of the nine Tails,
- 45:20Speaker 1: meaning that it was under someone else's control. The only
- 45:23Speaker 1: ones in the village with the Sharanghan were the Uchiha.
- 45:25Speaker 1: That people began to fear our clan, not just because
- 45:28Speaker 1: they were suspected of letting out the Nine Tails, but
- 45:30Speaker 1: because it was understood that the Nine Tails could be
- 45:33Speaker 1: controlled by them. This created fear in the hearts of
- 45:36Speaker 1: the villagers, and they began to treat us differently, and
- 45:39Speaker 1: our clan didn't like it. Setsko continued to listen to
- 45:43Speaker 1: her brother's words. Itachi continued, it began to seem like
- 45:46Speaker 1: we were being excluded from the village more and more,
- 45:49Speaker 1: and so our father, Fugaku and the elders of the
- 45:52Speaker 1: clan began to consider taking advanced maneuvers to ensure the
- 45:56Speaker 1: safety and survival of our clan. The plans hatched were
- 45:59Speaker 1: that of a revolt a coup against the Hokage. We
- 46:02Speaker 1: planned to seize the office of Hokage, the leadership of
- 46:05Speaker 1: the village, and force a transfer of power to Fugaku himself.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Setsko was finding this hard to believe. You slander my
- 46:12Speaker 1: clan by sowing seeds of doubt in my mind. As
- 46:15Speaker 1: to their loyalty. Look into my eyes, Setziko, you know
- 46:18Speaker 1: I'm not lying. I can never know who is or
- 46:20Speaker 1: isn't lying, she said. We live in a world of shinobi,
- 46:23Speaker 1: of spies, of espionage. The truth and the lies are
- 46:26Speaker 1: one and the same to us, and only testing them
- 46:29Speaker 1: can we truly know what happened. Itachi nodded, perhaps, but
- 46:33Speaker 1: I will continue to explain if you'll give me the chance.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Setsko nodded to allow him to continue on the off
- 46:39Speaker 1: chance that what he was saying was actually true. Itachi
- 46:42Speaker 1: then continued. The clan began to formulate a coup, one
- 46:45Speaker 1: that they claimed was bloodless, but word got out to Konoha.
- 46:49Speaker 1: The Hokage himself called me in, along with a friend
- 46:51Speaker 1: of mine, Shisui Uchiha. We began to discuss with heros
- 46:55Speaker 1: in the next steps. The truth that our father was
- 46:57Speaker 1: too blind to see was that nokup would be bloodles,
- 47:00Speaker 1: especially now that Konohan knew what was happening. The element
- 47:03Speaker 1: of surprise was lost, and any coup now would turn
- 47:06Speaker 1: into a civil war. I tried to tell father this,
- 47:09Speaker 1: but he wouldn't listen, and so a plan was hatched
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the office of the hokage a plan to defeat
- 47:14Speaker 1: the purpose of the plot to overthrow Konoha. My compatriot
- 47:18Speaker 1: Shisui possessed a powerful genjutsu in his mongekyo sharingan one
- 47:22Speaker 1: that would allow us to cast the entire clan under
- 47:24Speaker 1: a subtle illusion that would suggest an idea that they
- 47:27Speaker 1: would think they came up with by themselves. But before
- 47:30Speaker 1: we could go through with it, Shisui was assassinated by
- 47:34Speaker 1: the Uchiha. Setsko asked no by a rogue councilman who
- 47:38Speaker 1: believed that the plan was too dangerous. Shisui was too dangerous.
- 47:42Speaker 1: The Uchiha were too dangerous. Against the wishes of the village,
- 47:46Speaker 1: Donzo Shimura had Shisui killed, taking his eyes for himself,
- 47:50Speaker 1: dashing out the only hope of ending the coup peacefully. Donzo,
- 47:54Speaker 1: at that time was the head of the village's Ambu agency,
- 47:57Speaker 1: and I was under his command. He approached me and
- 47:59Speaker 1: told me that he yet a new plan, one that
- 48:01Speaker 1: hero is In would never be strong enough to carry out,
- 48:04Speaker 1: one that none of the council could, a plan to
- 48:07Speaker 1: eradicate every Uchiha in existence. He said that if we
- 48:10Speaker 1: spared the civilians, they would grow to hate the village,
- 48:13Speaker 1: and it would only buy time. Everyone needed to die
- 48:17Speaker 1: in order to end the curse of hatred before it
- 48:19Speaker 1: could fester and kill the village, and so I was
- 48:22Speaker 1: selected to carry out this mission, as I was the
- 48:25Speaker 1: one who possessed the most knowledge of the Uchiha and
- 48:28Speaker 1: was one of the strongest warriors Donzo had. Why didn't
- 48:31Speaker 1: you just tell heroes in, then, Suki asked, because Donzo
- 48:34Speaker 1: wasn't a pure man. He claimed to have the village's
- 48:37Speaker 1: best interests at heart, but truly he only cared about himself.
- 48:41Speaker 1: He possessed many secrets that could destroy the village, and
- 48:44Speaker 1: he was willing to share them all to ensure that
- 48:46Speaker 1: Knoha would be destroyed should he be threatened. Donzo was
- 48:50Speaker 1: not a man of honor. He held his beliefs tightly
- 48:53Speaker 1: that he knew what was best for Knoha and only
- 48:55Speaker 1: he could lead, and if anyone else tried to usurp him,
- 48:58Speaker 1: he would destroy them, even if that meant destroying the village.
- 49:01Speaker 1: If he couldn't protect it, nobody could for that purpose.
- 49:05Speaker 1: He said, the death of the Uchiha was imminent for
- 49:07Speaker 1: national security purposes, but I alone could decide how many
- 49:11Speaker 1: people would die if I did nothing, I would not
- 49:14Speaker 1: have to kill anyone, but in return, the Ambu would
- 49:17Speaker 1: launch an attack and kill every Uchiha, including me. In
- 49:20Speaker 1: that way, many of my Ambu brothers would die, and
- 49:23Speaker 1: if the plan wasn't successful, the village may suffer casualties
- 49:26Speaker 1: that could lead it to being far more weakened than
- 49:28Speaker 1: it needed to be. It could risk a fourth Shinobi
- 49:30Speaker 1: world War. But if I fought and killed them before
- 49:33Speaker 1: they could retaliate, not only would I save the lives
- 49:35Speaker 1: of those in the village, I would save the lives
- 49:37Speaker 1: of others around the world, possibly the whole world. And further,
- 49:42Speaker 1: he agreed to allow me to save the life of
- 49:44Speaker 1: someone I held dear you. Setsko was shocked by this information.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Itachi continued, I chose you and the world. But when
- 49:52Speaker 1: Hirazin found out about it, he was not happy. He
- 49:55Speaker 1: wished to punish Donzo, have him imprisoned and disgraced, but
- 49:59Speaker 1: Donzo said he agents everywhere who were loyal to him
- 50:02Speaker 1: and him alone, and that he would spread all of
- 50:04Speaker 1: Konoha's secrets to the other villages and destroy Konoha if
- 50:08Speaker 1: Heroes and destroyed him, and so Heroes and did the
- 50:11Speaker 1: only thing he could, and began to systematically strip him
- 50:14Speaker 1: of as much power and influence as he could. To
- 50:17Speaker 1: that end, the Anbu were transferred out of Donzo's control
- 50:20Speaker 1: and answered only to the Hokage, but Root remained a
- 50:24Speaker 1: secret force that doesn't officially exist. They answer only to Donzo.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Donzo escaped justice that day because he held the world hostage.
- 50:33Speaker 1: The events that transpired were unfortunate. The Uchiha were to
- 50:36Speaker 1: blame for some of this, but even still they had innocence. Konoha,
- 50:40Speaker 1: too attempted their best, but Donzo alone stood up and
- 50:44Speaker 1: took command, victimizing everyone. I know you hate me for
- 50:47Speaker 1: what I've done, but there are others in the Yakontski
- 50:49Speaker 1: who wish to use your hatred of the village to
- 50:51Speaker 1: sabotage it for their own gains. I tell you this
- 50:54Speaker 1: now so I can set you free from their control,
- 50:56Speaker 1: he said. With Herosin's death, few people remain alive. I've
- 51:00Speaker 1: in Konoha who know the truth. But it doesn't have
- 51:02Speaker 1: to be that way. I know you seek vengeance, Suki,
- 51:05Speaker 1: but please don't let your need to kill put the
- 51:08Speaker 1: entire village at risk. This isn't the same as joining
- 51:10Speaker 1: a rochi Maru. This is more. He pulled a scroll
- 51:13Speaker 1: out from behind his back. This is a dossier. I
- 51:16Speaker 1: knew I couldn't trust Donzo to protect you, so I
- 51:19Speaker 1: played his game and found enough information to bring him down.
- 51:22Speaker 1: This was insurance to make sure he didn't double cross me.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I'm giving it to you, though. This is everything I
- 51:27Speaker 1: have on him and everything it'll take to bring him down.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Use it carefully. He tossed it to Suki. She opened
- 51:34Speaker 1: it up and began to read. She was appalled to
- 51:37Speaker 1: find out that there were sources corroborating I Tachi's story.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Why are you only now bringing this up. Why didn't
- 51:43Speaker 1: you mention it before? She asked, I couldn't, Itachi said,
- 51:46Speaker 1: I didn't want to risk your safety, but now you're strong,
- 51:49Speaker 1: and besides, I wanted to set things right before I die,
- 51:52Speaker 1: Before you die, Suki asked. Itachi nodded, I'm sick, Setsko,
- 51:57Speaker 1: really sick. I'm going to die very soon. But I
- 52:00Speaker 1: didn't want to go out without letting you know that
- 52:03Speaker 1: without he began to break into tears. I didn't want
- 52:06Speaker 1: to go without letting you know that I love you.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I know you can't forgive me, and I know that
- 52:11Speaker 1: you hate me, but I love you, and I just
- 52:13Speaker 1: wanted you to know that Setsko's whole world was upside down.
- 52:17Speaker 1: She didn't know what to say. For years, she had
- 52:19Speaker 1: hated her brother for what he had done, and now
- 52:22Speaker 1: to realize he wasn't even the one who made the decision.
- 52:25Speaker 1: It was all too much. Iachi then spoke, I want
- 52:28Speaker 1: you to take this information and use it however you
- 52:30Speaker 1: see fit. Beware the true enemies, Beware Donzo, and beware
- 52:34Speaker 1: the Yukatski. Setsko nodded and turned to leave. She couldn't
- 52:38Speaker 1: believe she was doing this, that she was walking away
- 52:40Speaker 1: from her vengeance against her brother, But things had changed
- 52:43Speaker 1: and now she needed to figure out the next steps.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Stopping just for a moment, she looked behind her. Iachi,
- 52:49Speaker 1: the blackened scarecrow of a figure, raised his head to
- 52:52Speaker 1: look at her. If what you told me is true,
- 52:54Speaker 1: she said, then I forgive you, and with that she
- 52:59Speaker 1: was gone. Naruto was searching for Setsko. Still hints had
- 53:02Speaker 1: come about that she had killed the Rochi Maru and
- 53:04Speaker 1: was now searching for Ittachi. Naruto led a team comprised
- 53:08Speaker 1: of himself and the rest of the Konoha eleven to
- 53:10Speaker 1: find her. Little did he know that she would find
- 53:13Speaker 1: him first. Set's go, he called out. She drew closer
- 53:16Speaker 1: to him. This was the first time the two had
- 53:18Speaker 1: seen each other since Setsko had killed the Rochi Maru.
- 53:21Speaker 1: It's good to see you again, Naruto said. This coaxed
- 53:24Speaker 1: a smile from Suki's face. She brought herself back to business.
- 53:28Speaker 1: She held up the scroll and gave it to Naruto.
- 53:30Speaker 1: What's this, he asked? The truth? Suki said, I found Itachi.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I didn't kill him because he revealed to me the truth.
- 53:38Speaker 1: He wasn't responsible for my clan's destruction. Someone else was.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Naruto looked through this. This implicates Councilman Shamora, he said.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Suki nodded, yeah. As it turns out, he's the one
- 53:49Speaker 1: responsible for the destruction of my clan. He manipulated Itachi
- 53:53Speaker 1: and the village for his own personal gain. He needs
- 53:56Speaker 1: to go down hard, and so they returned with the
- 53:59Speaker 1: information to the village. Despite having gone rogue, Setsko was
- 54:03Speaker 1: pardoned for killing a Rochi Maru. She further gave the
- 54:06Speaker 1: information she had on Donzo to Sunate, who looked it over.
- 54:09Speaker 1: With the help of Si, they managed to apprehend all
- 54:12Speaker 1: of the root agents to stop information from leaking out.
- 54:15Speaker 1: They then arrested Donzo with this information and had him
- 54:18Speaker 1: executed for treason against the village and from mass genocide
- 54:22Speaker 1: against the Uchiha. Setsko then told Sunate and Naruto about
- 54:25Speaker 1: the threat of the Yakatski and what she had learned
- 54:28Speaker 1: about them from Iachi. Together, they went about facing down
- 54:31Speaker 1: the group. With Setsko and Naruto together, they managed to
- 54:35Speaker 1: defeat the Yakatski far more easily, and with Iachi's help
- 54:38Speaker 1: on the inside, they were able to bring the organization
- 54:41Speaker 1: down before it became a real issue. Peace reigned, and
- 54:44Speaker 1: with her return to Konoha, so too did Suki return
- 54:47Speaker 1: to Naruto. For a time, the two tested the waters further,
- 54:51Speaker 1: but eventually the bond between them grew so deep that
- 54:54Speaker 1: they couldn't consider themselves as separate beings anymore. This resulted
- 54:58Speaker 1: in them marrying and starting a line together, and once
- 55:01Speaker 1: again in the vast cosmos, Hagoromo Otsutsuki was questioning the
- 55:06Speaker 1: sanity of everyone who wanted to see his sons kiss
- 55:09Speaker 1: each other. And that's the end of the story. I
- 55:12Speaker 1: hope you enjoyed it. Honestly, how much would really change
- 55:15Speaker 1: if narit Orsoske were girls. I'd argue that almost nothing would.
- 55:19Speaker 1: But that's not too interesting now, is it. So I
- 55:22Speaker 1: thought i'd add in a few extra spices to make
- 55:25Speaker 1: this one really pop. I hope I did well enough.
