- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back to another episode in our her next chapter series where we're talking about topics we don't usually cover on the podcast.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: And today I'm joined by someone who has had a profound impact on my own journey, my mentor and friend, Ali Worthington.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: The world knows her as an accomplished entrepreneur, coach, podcaster, author, mother of five crazy gold retriever lover
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: But, I just wrapped up almost two years of interning with Ali, watching her coach women behind the scenes and seeing firsthand how she helps them move past fear.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: Recognize the gifts God has given them and then step confidently in what he's calling them to do next.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: Whether you've spent decades raising a family or serving your church or building a career or all of the above, it comes a moment when you begin asking Lord what's next.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_02]: Allie has dedicated her life to help in women grow and reach their full potential.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I can't wait for you to hear this conversation.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: Let's dive in.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome, Allie.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, hello, what a lovely intro.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, friend.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I, Allie and I were talking before I was showing.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, Allie, you don't even know how much you've impacted my life.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I get all choked up.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just talking about it.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: But this isn't about me.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't for you.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: Allie, we want to know what your fall looks like.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, I have, like, everyone fall, it gets just kind of bonkers, right?
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: And for me, it's of my own doing.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I have lots of great trips and catalyst mastermind trips and just lots of lots of fun, delightful things planned.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: I spent many years as a speaker on the road.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so, every fall, you know, almost every weekend,
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: Can I burn myself out in 23 or 24?
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I went, I think I'm about done speaking.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take one or two events a year if I really love the events and now I'm just planning my own trips, you know, with clients and like I said master minor treat and just having a wonderful fall and I'm lucky enough that my business allows me to plan trips that I want to go on.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm 50 this year.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm always coaching my clients like you get to decide what kind of business you want and you get to make decisions that that work with your preferences.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it's always just this like wildly fascinating thing to say to someone and when they go, what?
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: I can design this work and this business around what works for me.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like the idea never even occurred.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm taking my
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm telling you there's something that clicked when we turned 50.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'm 61 now, so look out.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a really revenue.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: I have this idea that somehow life becomes smaller, we become minimized, and I know that you do not believe that one bit.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know, Ali, why do you think that's so many women believe that their best years are behind them?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: And what you wish every midlife woman would
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's a really good question.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if anyone that's ever asked me that.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's because we tend to shrink ourselves as we're raising children, we get used to raising children and then the kids get older and the kids leave and then whether we have a career, we don't have a career, we go, okay, who am I now?
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: And unless we make a very concerted effort to grow and to develop ourselves and get ourselves into new places and do new things and push the way we push when we were 20 or the way we push for 30 or even 40, we are going to shrink our zone of comfort.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to shrink our zone of familiarity.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: And before we know it, we're eating at a denies on the Saturday night at four o'clock and we always eat at denies on a Saturday night at four o'clock, right?
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: If we don't go, I'm gonna develop myself.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna meet new friends.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna get in circles of women who care about me and inspire me to do more.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying past all and I'm not saying change who we are.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: But there's something magical when we're connected with other women who are like, what's got to do in your life?
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's got to tell on you?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I gave you this dream, I want you to go for it.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: Don't shrink back.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: That'll change your whole life.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: But if we don't put ourselves out there,
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: And we just do the same old, same old every year that we're comfortable with.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Life shrinks.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's the key.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, as I was launching my five kids, it took me to get to number four before I finally said, what actually really want to do for me.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: I hadn't given her the thought because I was just helped with everybody else and supporting everyone else.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm like, what do I actually want?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: And that's when I stepped into this whole world that's weird and online and most of us don't know anything about, but actually, like, lovely, that's how I met you.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I just think, wow, God, who knew?
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Who knew?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: What God had ahead?
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: And so I think I love that you get to help women see that.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: So recently, you've been talking about something called the Wise Women Method and you're helping women approach this season differently.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, I would love for you to tell us about the Wise Women Method over on Substack.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: What's it about?
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do there?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: It is midlife health.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we are in our wise woman era.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we know a singer too.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: We kind of have been around the block.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: We've lived a lot of life, but it's for women over 35.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going, I just don't feel good anymore.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel like myself, whether we're a Perry menopausal or menopausal, I wanted to give when in a place where they could go and it was science without hype, but easily understood, like, hey, the science has x, y and z.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Here's why it matters.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: Here's something easy you can do.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: As opposed to,
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: social media, health coaches and influencers who are just giving wild claims and then promoting anything with the 20% off code that they have from an affiliate.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I wanted to give women something smart and balanced to go, let's talk about sleep.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about why our genes don't fit anymore.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about hormones.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about how to actually lose those extra 10 pounds.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: without hype and without things being clickbait and and just full of affiliate links for garbage that we don't need.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: I actually went on a rant on one on one article because one of my coaching clients who's talking about her health with me, even though we were talking about business, and she said, oh yeah, I've been taking in a D+.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: And do you mind if I just say the name of the podcast you heard it on?
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I didn't put this in the article.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: She said, I'm taking NAD+.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because I heard Jenna Koocher talk about it on her podcast in a truster.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, first of all, I'm sure she had the Philly code.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: Second of all, the molecules of NAD+.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Our size that you actually cannot absorb them if you take them orderly.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like you could do in an IV.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: And so I was explaining precursors to her and all the science.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: And she just...
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad you said that because I was listening to a science podcast yesterday and they said the same thing and I was like, why did you trust someone that doesn't know anything about a health and she was like, she's so convincing.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's kind of, that's kind of my issue.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of cute convincing people out there who are making a lot of money promoting health type things to women that are helping women.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I got to put my flag in the ground and do something about that.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: You've got it because you've been on this journey and you've done the research.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, babe, when one knows about this about you, just how much you love research.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: As much as you love studying, you love learning.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: And then you just break it down in such a simple way.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: Or sometimes I go, ah, it's too much information.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to want to know about.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: You probably don't know this, but a couple of years ago, year and a half ago, I got certified as a nutrition coach and strength and conditioning trainer from the, from the International Sports Science Association.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: Even better.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: A talk about it because that's so boring, but yeah.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I like to nerd out.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's really helpful.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to know, Ellie, you have another book coming up later.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, is it this year?
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: It comes out as of right now and 363 days.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: I only know because it was a year from a couple of days again.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: Are you able to?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can't.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: I can't even say when it's coming out.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I did say that to you.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, cool, cool.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: And we will talk about it when it gets closer.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: Be really beneficial.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: Moving on, one of the most important lessons that I've learned from you, Allie, is about identity and the power of identity statements.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: For example, this year.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: And it just makes me tear up a little bit because in 2026, I decided that I'm becoming a woman who unerserbody.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: Because I've been a woman who has not.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: I've like pushed so hard my whole life.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_02]: I've just crowned, worked so hard and helped everyone and served to the detriment of myself.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_02]: And now that I've been on this kind of journey of illness that I never wanted, didn't wish that I have, but became time to honor my body.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I've learned that from you.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, was that your catalyst becoming saving in the year and it's been with you all year?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, Ali, I would like you to explain a little bit about the power of these identity statements and what they can do for a woman.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so the reason I wanted us all in the mastermind this year to have a statement, I'm becoming a woman who is because we tend to be really hard on ourselves because we're not that person yet we tend to be hard on ourselves because well, I'm not in shape or I'm still short tempered or you know whatever it is.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so this concept of I'm becoming a woman who is really liberating because it lets women cast vision for who God has put in their heart that they're becoming this year and we're always becoming someone there, you know, that's why we do sometimes these many becoming statements in a month when we're working through things, but we've got that overarching, you know, I'm becoming a woman that honors my body, that was you for it.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: And it helps us not be hard on
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm sure there were days when you were like, I don't feel like a woman who honors her body, but I'm becoming a woman who and that sort of identity statement that will guide the year helps you make great decisions throughout the year.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: So at the end of the year, like we'll do this thing in December, you don't even know yet.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: December is all celebration, right?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: And in December,
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: And you'll look back and get to document and be really appreciative to yourself and to the Lord of all the things that turned you and to that woman.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Because by December you won't be becoming a woman who honors her body, you are a woman who honors her body.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, really beautiful.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned the catalysts mastermind.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: To our listeners, what that is and what it means and why you're so pumped about it.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like this is a passion project for you.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: So tell us about it.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: I love it so much, I always see these ads and I get promoted for people to target me to try to do my masterminds and it's almost like $15 or $30 dollars a year and I'm like, I don't know what y'all think you're going to teach me for $30 dollars a year.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's outrageous.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: But I had this group of coaching clients that I take on retreats, volunteer coaching clients, and they became really good friends.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: We have this group text, and then they're praying for each other.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're helping each other's businesses and ministries, and it was such a special thing.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: This was in 2025.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I need to give this experience to more women.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was my inspiration.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: So the catalyst master ran the first year was 26 and it's just as simple as you know every month you get like a 10 minutes audio for me in a quick playbook here's what we're doing this month and an interactive tool that's going to help you do it we're going to work on your life.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: You can do it 15 minutes.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then I place all the women and circles and small groups.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: And so you guys are going through the year together.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where that group text comes in.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's the Monday.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, here's my goal this week Friday.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, here's not how I did pray for me here.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: But there's such magic and getting women together, as you know, you can speak to this.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: have a calling, who are driven, who are building something, whether you're in the ministry or you're in a accountant or a teacher or you run your own business, if you are a woman who have driven and you have a dream, maybe it's to write a book, maybe it's to start a business, whatever it is, you know when you're around other women in your community and you share what you're working on.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: They normally look at you like you have a third eye on your forehead.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: And it's either, oh, that's nice or outright hostility, or can't you just be happy with what God gave you?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, there's something called holy ambition, right?
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm obsessed with helping people no matter if she lives in the middle of the out back in Australia or New York City, I am obsessed with getting the right women together.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: So with catalyst, we interview every woman, you have to be interviewed, you have to apply and then we prayerfully put women in groups and we spend that year together and we do group coaching and lots of other things.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: But it's super, super affordable because my passion with this is getting great information, great tools, helping women make moves in their lives, but letting it be super affordable, I want it to be accessible to everybody.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: I like it because it can be big, like and let a lot of women in, but it's small because you're in your circle.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm kind of obsessed with it.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's other than the one on one coaching that I do, it's my favorite thing in the world.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: We say our catalyst circle is the best we're getting together in Tennessee in October.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_02]: And we have watched each other grow.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: And the beautiful thing about catalyst is it's not difficult.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's not 500 assignments that Ellie gives you a focus.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: And all of the focuses are to help you move forward.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes we just need a little encouragement.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm like, what's next?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: I love that.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's been very light giving for everyone in our group and we're all at different phases where at different stages of growth, but yet we all have this like gumption, you know, and that's all you need is a little Holy Spirit gumption and see what God does.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: But when we offer that to the Lord and then do it in community, it's just so powerful.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love that what had you had a lot of those experiences with women who aren't a catalyst, sharing a dream or a goal or what you're working on and they look at you like you're crazy.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: I have a group of writers that have been praying with every Monday morning for five or six years, maybe six years.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like that.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: And so we get each other.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a real game-changer.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Mama, if your house feels too quiet and your heart feels too heavy after launching your child, I've created a guide just for you.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's called journaling through transitional grief.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: A gentle, faith-filled resource to help you process the deep emotions of letting go.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Inside, you'll find six reflection questions that will help you name your feelings,
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: Invite God into the grief and experience his comfort in the middle of change.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, transitional grief is only his season and God is leading you toward peace, purpose, and joy.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can grab your free copy at the link in the show notes.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let's get back to our conversation.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: You built businesses, written books, led teams, and now you've turned 50.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: What fears have you had to overcome in this season, and how has God met you in them?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, that is a great question.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thinking.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't say I've been dealing with fears.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: I will say, God has been working with me, showing me that there is time for everything.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because I do so much.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: I really like to operate it about 95% of my capacity all the time.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's my sweet spot.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I love it.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: I really love it.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: I I I just I love doing so much, but my husband and I we got these two puppies the summer and one of them has special needs and she had an arm amputated and we've had her and rehab and I do PT with her three times a day and you wouldn't think that my life's been completely turned upside down by these two little white golden retriever puppies.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: I guess my fear is that I'm not going to be able to do a good job with them and run my companies because there's just everything is such a stretch.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember a single time in my life where things where they're joyful, they're good, but they're actually really, really hard because of the puppies.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, again, found silly, but, but if you, if no one has ever had two puppies at a time, you can't imagine.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like the internet warned me, the internet said, breeders do not like to give two puppies at a time.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: It is a bad idea.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: One of them gets free home.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: It is not twice the work.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's 10 times the work.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I was, and me and my hubris, you're like, no.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: And knowing that little, that little disabled puppy, I was like, I have to have her too.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, my hubris, it's very humbling.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think I was afraid that I'm either not going to do a good job for them or not going to do a good job for work.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: And God is constantly reminding me that he is going to make sure, yeah, he's going to partner with me.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to partner with him and he's going to make sure that everything gets done.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll look back on this era and go, okay, that was that was a lot.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: I hope it's kind of like childbirth and when your kids are young and you forget.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I hope when I'm talking to you next year about the book, and you go, how are the puppies?
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, they're just, because there's a six year old puppy too.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll be like, they're just three lazy dogs to sleep in at my feet.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: I can't imagine, because right now, if they were awake, away from me, one would be chewing through a wall.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, this is been crazy, legitimately crazy.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how people have twins.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a twin, and are you, your poor mother, and my brother was not one when we were born.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Can you imagine, my mother is a saint, I can't imagine.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I can't imagine.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think I heard it on when your pot castry recently where you were talking about busyness and that you're really careful to guard your inputs.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what gives you the energy to keep going because you're making time for fun.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: You're making time to go and roll a ghosters.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: You're making time to get together with girlfriends or your catalyst members or your team members or your coaching clients or whatever.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: You are a high capacity woman, but you're doing it the smart way.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's a lesson that we all can learn from you.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm really intentional about inputs.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's there's not a lot of Not a lot of disturbances in my day.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: There's no news feed.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: There's no This is crawling.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, didn't sprawling.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: No, there's none of that.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: There's none of that.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so, Ali, let's end with this.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: If a woman let's feel like she's standing at the beginning of her own next chapter, but isn't sure where to start?
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: What would you encourage her to do this week to begin moving forward?
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: Even beginning to have the desire to grow and change.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: I would recommend something I wrote about and I think it was remaining you while raising them in my last book and that's the magic question.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: I would start asking myself the magic question which is what do I need right now?
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you ask a woman, what do you need to be like, I don't know, nobody's ever asked me what I need.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think about what I need.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I think about what I need?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: You're crazy.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: I got so much to do.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: So, not what do you need globally, what do you need right now and start getting in touch with that question and then I think the most important thing is to pray into how she can grow and be supported in the future.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: I remember end of 2020 beginning of 2021.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: I was in really rough shape.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: My husband has a really bad chronic illness and two of my sons were struggling with migraines.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, COVID-air, no one was the driving ended for me, 20, you'll put it that way.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: But I prayed and I said, though, we're just telling me what you want me to do.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: And he said, get help.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: And you know how sometimes he gives you a word and he illuminates all the contacts.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: And the contacts for that was, get your back in therapy, hire your business coach again, and get a housekeeper in here.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I knew I get help, man.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I wasn't doing it.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I think I'll live the rest of my life, reminding women, go get help, go get in a group of women who are going to love you and support you and move you forward or find a Christian therapist to talk to and help you move forward or hire that housekeeper, you know.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: If there's any reason at all, you don't have to do those floors, don't do those floors.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think women need to be reminded that they are worthy and deserving of how the same help they give other people they can get it to.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's beautiful.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Ellie, I would love it if you could tell my listeners where they can find you online and also about the wise woman method, Substack.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's so nice.

- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: She equips them to take faithful practical steps toward the life gods inviting them into.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: I've experienced it personally to her coaching and I've watched countless women discover new confidence and courage because someone believed in them and challenged them to grow.

- 25:33[SPEAKER_02]: So this week, I just want you to answer that big question or the magic question is that what you called it?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what do you need?
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then think about it and then go ahead and let someone know what you need.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure it happened.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: If today's conversations stirred something in your heart, don't ignore it.

- 26:01[SPEAKER_02]: If this episode encouraged you, would you take a moment to share it with a friend who needs to remind her that her best days with God are not behind her.
