Speaker 1: Tom Homan up there, I think is just a stroke
• 0:03
Speaker 1: of genius. I think Tom is exactly the right person. Why,
• 0:06
Speaker 1: because he is also a career law enforcement. He's an operator.
• 0:10
Speaker 1: He knows exactly what needs to be done there and
• 0:13
Speaker 1: where is the give and take. Ice is there to
• 0:16
Speaker 1: arrest criminal, illegal aliens, and it's much better to do
• 0:19
Speaker 1: that with local law enforcement. So if Tom Holman can
• 0:22
Speaker 1: get local law enforcement involved in assisting nights, however that looks,
• 0:27
Speaker 1: whether that's protecting them while they do the mission, whatever
• 0:30
Speaker 1: it might be, I think that's a win.
• 0:32
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: Good Tuesday morning. Nice to have you with us.
• 0:37
Speaker 4: On the forty seven Morning Update, Donald Trump acts and
• 0:41
Speaker 4: takes a phone call from the governor of Minnesota.
• 0:44
  Speaker 3: Governor Waltz.
• 0:46
Speaker 4: Trump says he wants Minnesota resistance and chaos to end today.
• 0:50
Speaker 4: He also said that he's hoping now there will be
• 0:53
Speaker 4: some sort of cooperation with a governor and federal law enforcement.
• 0:58
Speaker 4: So what is driving all of this? We'll explain it
• 1:01
Speaker 4: to you before we get to that, though. Can you
• 1:03
Speaker 4: buy real bitcoin in your retirement account? If not, it's
• 1:07
Speaker 4: time to upgrade to bitcoin Ira. You can buy and
• 1:12
Speaker 4: sell bitcoin with major tax advantages. Visit bitcoin ira dot
• 1:19
Speaker 4: com slash ben to learn more. Right now, that's bitcoin
• 1:24
Speaker 4: ira dot com slash ben or call eight six six
• 1:30
Speaker 4: six seven nine seven eight seven to one. That's eight
• 1:34
Speaker 4: sixty six six seven nine seven eight seven to one.
• 1:38
Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 1:41
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 1:43
Speaker 3: It isn't all out civil war.
• 1:45
Speaker 4: That's what the Democrats said they wanted in Minnesota. But
• 1:49
Speaker 4: now Tim Waltz is called President Donald Trump, and here's
• 1:52
Speaker 4: what we've been told about that conversation, Donald Trump putting
• 1:56
Speaker 4: up on true social The Governor Tim Waltz called me
• 1:59
Speaker 4: with request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It
• 2:03
Speaker 4: was a very good call and we actually seem to
• 2:06
Speaker 4: be on a similar wavelength. I told Governor Walts that
• 2:09
Speaker 4: I would have Tom Homan call him and that what
• 2:11
Speaker 4: we're looking for are any and all criminals that they
• 2:16
Speaker 4: have in their possession. This is exactly, by the way,
• 2:20
Speaker 4: what hundreds of other cities do when they catch a
• 2:23
Speaker 4: criminals a legal immigrant, and then they work with federal
• 2:26
Speaker 4: authorities ice to make sure that they are taken into custody.
• 2:30
Speaker 4: That's not what they do in sanctuary cities or states
• 2:33
Speaker 4: like Minnesota. Back to the President's own words, the governor
• 2:38
Speaker 4: very respectfully understood that, and I will be speaking to
• 2:42
Speaker 4: him in the near future. He was happy that Tom
• 2:44
Speaker 4: Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I. We
• 2:48
Speaker 4: have such tremendous success in Washington, d C. Memphis, Tennessee,
• 2:53
Speaker 4: and New Orleans, Louisiana and virtually every other place we
• 2:57
Speaker 4: have touched, and even in Minnesota, crime is way down,
• 3:00
Speaker 4: but both Governor Waltz and I want to make it better,
• 3:04
Speaker 4: signed President Donald J.
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: Trump.
• 3:07
Speaker 4: Now that wasn't all that the President had to say
• 3:10
Speaker 4: on this issue. He also hours before that, put out
• 3:13
Speaker 4: this statement on true social I'm sending Tom home into
• 3:17
Speaker 4: Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in the area,
• 3:21
Speaker 4: but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom
• 3:25
Speaker 4: is tough, but fair and report directly to me. Separately,
• 3:29
Speaker 4: a major investigation is going on with respect to the
• 3:31
Speaker 4: massive twenty billion dollar plus welfare fraud that has taken
• 3:36
Speaker 4: place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for
• 3:40
Speaker 4: the violent organized protests going on the streets. Additionally, the
• 3:45
Speaker 4: DOJ and Congress are looking at Congresswoman Ilamo mar who
• 3:49
Speaker 4: left Somalia with nothing and is now reportedly worth more
• 3:53
Speaker 4: than forty four million dollars. Time will tell all thank
• 3:58
Speaker 4: you for your attention this matter.
• 4:00
  Speaker 3: Donald J. Trump.
• 4:01
Speaker 4: Now you put that together with the White House Press
• 4:04
Speaker 4: Secretary as she laid it out today from the podium
• 4:08
Speaker 4: at the White House, exactly what the plan is and
• 4:12
Speaker 4: what the President's had to say about moving forward and
• 4:15
Speaker 4: keeping all Americans safe. The President wants law and order,
• 4:19
Speaker 4: not anarchy and chaos, which is what Governor wald and
• 4:22
Speaker 4: Mayor Fry have given us. Take a listen.
• 4:25
Speaker 5: It is President Trump's hope and wish and demand for
• 4:29
Speaker 5: the resistance in chaos to end today. That's why President
• 4:33
Speaker 5: Trump spoke with Governor Wals directly this morning, and he
• 4:36
Speaker 5: has outlined a clear and simple path to restoring law
• 4:40
Speaker 5: and order in Minnesota. Number One, Governor Waltz, Mayor Fry,
• 4:44
Speaker 5: and all Democrat leaders should turn over all criminal illegal
• 4:48
Speaker 5: aliens currently incarcerated in their prisons in jails to federal authorities,
• 4:53
Speaker 5: along with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known
• 4:56
Speaker 5: criminal histories for immediate deportation. Number two, State and local
• 5:01
Speaker 5: law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal aliens
• 5:06
Speaker 5: who are arrested by local police. And then thirdly, local
• 5:10
Speaker 5: police must assist federal law enforcement in apprehending, in detaining
• 5:15
Speaker 5: illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes, especially violent crimes.
• 5:20
Speaker 5: If Governor Wilson Marefry implement these common sense, cooperative measures
• 5:25
Speaker 5: that I will add have already been implemented in nearly
• 5:28
Speaker 5: every single other state across the country, customs and border
• 5:32
Speaker 5: patrol will not be needed to support ICE on the
• 5:34
Speaker 5: ground in Minnesota. ICE in local law enforcement can peacefully
• 5:38
Speaker 5: work together, as they are effectively doing in so many
• 5:41
Speaker 5: other states and jurisdictions. Additionally, President Trump is calling on
• 5:46
Speaker 5: the United States Congress to immediately pass legislation ending sanctuary
• 5:50
Speaker 5: cities once and for all. American cities should be safe
• 5:54
Speaker 5: sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only, not for dangerous illegal
• 5:59
Speaker 5: alien criminals who broke our nation's laws and do not
• 6:02
Speaker 5: belong here. We hope Governor Walls will do the right
• 6:05
Speaker 5: thing and continue to work with President Trump to keep
• 6:09
Speaker 5: the American people safe. Following their call this morning, Americans
• 6:13
Speaker 5: overwhelmingly want exactly what President Trump is delivering, strong borders,
• 6:18
Speaker 5: in strict immigration enforcement against the worst illegal aliens of
• 6:22
Speaker 5: which there are still hundreds of thousands to deport from
• 6:25
Speaker 5: the interior of our country. The most peaceful way to
• 6:29
Speaker 5: carry out this vital public safety mission is for Republicans
• 6:32
Speaker 5: and Democrats to do it together and force state and
• 6:35
Speaker 5: local law enforcement to work together with federal law enforcement.
• 6:40
Speaker 5: We want to let cops be cops. You wouldn't know
• 6:43
Speaker 5: this continues to be a very popular policy position from
• 6:46
Speaker 5: the biased media coverage over the course of the last
• 6:48
Speaker 5: few days, but polling shows huge support for this exact thing.
• 6:53
Speaker 5: President Trump is calling for. More than eighty percent of
• 6:56
Speaker 5: Americans favored deporting illegal aliens convicted of violent crime. A
• 7:00
Speaker 5: country unable to deport criminals who enter it illegally is
• 7:04
Speaker 5: no country at all. The Open Border's agenda of Kamala Harris,
• 7:08
Speaker 5: Tim Walls and the Democrats was already on the ballot
• 7:11
Speaker 5: on November fifth, twenty twenty four, and it was resoundingly rejected.
• 7:16
Speaker 5: President Trump will never back down from his promise to
• 7:18
Speaker 5: deport violent, criminal illegal aliens and make America safe again.
• 7:23
Speaker 3: Caroline Levit is absolutely right.
• 7:24
Speaker 4: The President was elected to do exactly what he's been doing,
• 7:28
Speaker 4: and that is getting the worst among us out of
• 7:30
Speaker 4: this country. That broke into this country illegally. And if
• 7:33
Speaker 4: you go back to exactly what the White House put out,
• 7:37
Speaker 4: they've made it clear and transparent what they are demanding.
• 7:40
Speaker 4: Number One, that Governor Waltson, Mayor Fryme, and all the
• 7:43
Speaker 4: Democratic leaders should turn over all criminal legal aliens currently
• 7:47
Speaker 4: incarcerated in their prisons and jails to federal authorities, along
• 7:52
Speaker 4: with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known criminal
• 7:55
Speaker 4: histories for immediate deportation. They also demand that state local
• 8:00
Speaker 4: law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal aliens
• 8:03
Speaker 4: arrested by local police. Now, again, this is all exactly
• 8:07
Speaker 4: what the law is state you must do. The President
• 8:10
Speaker 4: is not asking for anything outside of what the state
• 8:13
  Speaker 4: of laws.
• 8:14
Speaker 3: Say in this country.
• 8:15
Speaker 4: Number Three, local police must assist federal law enforcement and
• 8:19
Speaker 4: apprehending and detaining illegal aliens wanted for crimes. Ice and
• 8:25
Speaker 4: local law enforcement can peacefully work together, as they are
• 8:28
Speaker 4: effectively doing in so many other states and jurisdictions to
• 8:32
Speaker 4: remove violent criminals from American neighborhoods. There are literally hundreds
• 8:36
Speaker 4: of cities in America where what you're witnessing in Minnesota
• 8:39
Speaker 4: is not happening because law enforcement is working together.
• 8:42
Speaker 3: That's what it's supposed to be.
• 8:44
Speaker 4: Many times when you see tragedies where they say they
• 8:47
Speaker 4: say local law enforcement and federal law enforcement are working together. Right, Local,
• 8:52
Speaker 4: state and federal working together, especially when you're dealing with criminals.
• 8:57
Speaker 4: But these individuals like Governor Walton mayor Fry, refuse to
• 9:01
Speaker 4: do this. They put illegal immigrant criminals ahead of American
• 9:05
Speaker 4: citizens the other thing, the President said. Additionally, he's calling
• 9:11
Speaker 4: on the United States Congress to immediately pass legislation ending
• 9:16
Speaker 4: sanctuary cities once and for all, because he understands that
• 9:20
Speaker 4: every time there's a safe haven for these types of criminals,
• 9:23
Speaker 4: it cost Americans their lives. It allows them a safe
• 9:27
Speaker 4: haven to set up corruption and also to set up
• 9:30
Speaker 4: crime syndicates. It also allows for illegal immigrants to steal
• 9:33
Speaker 4: from American taxpayers. We've witnessed all of that in Minneapolis
• 9:38
Speaker 4: and the surrounding area. American cities, he said, should be
• 9:42
Speaker 4: safe sanctuaries for law abiding citizens only, not for dangerous
• 9:48
Speaker 4: illegal alien criminals who broke our laws and do not
• 9:51
Speaker 4: belong here. He said this, we hope Governor Waltz will
• 9:55
Speaker 4: do the right thing and work with President Trump and
• 9:58
Speaker 4: his team to keep America and the American people safe.
• 10:02
Speaker 4: So it is clear now the President of United States
• 10:04
Speaker 4: of America is saying, look, I am representing you. Americans
• 10:08
Speaker 4: overwhelmingly did exactly that an election day. They wanted strong borders.
• 10:14
Speaker 4: They wanted strict immigration enforcement against the worst criminal legal aliens,
• 10:18
Speaker 4: of which there are still hundreds of thousands to deport
• 10:21
Speaker 4: from the interior of our country. You wouldn't know it,
• 10:24
Speaker 4: the President says, from the bias media coverage, but polls
• 10:27
Speaker 4: show huge support for.
• 10:29
  Speaker 3: This very thing.
• 10:30
Speaker 4: More than eighty percent of Americans favored deporting legal aliens
• 10:34
Speaker 4: convicted of violent crimes. The most peaceful way to carry
• 10:38
Speaker 4: out this vital public safety mission, the White House says,
• 10:42
Speaker 4: is for Republicans and Democrats to do it together, and
• 10:45
Speaker 4: for local and state law enforcement to work with federal
• 10:48
Speaker 4: law enforcement to get it done together. President Trump also
• 10:52
Speaker 4: saying he will never back down from the promise to
• 10:56
Speaker 4: deport all violent criminal legal aliens and make America's safe again.
