- 0:17Speaker 1: to see this so much this year. What a special treat.

- 0:21Speaker 1: see you with the Bachelorette. I get to see you podcasting.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I love you.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I love you too, And we get to see each.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Other Sunday this weekend.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I was going to say next week, but it's this week.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh yay, Yes, I'm I'm so excited that all of
- 0:37Speaker 2: this stuff is happening. As I think anyone who knows
- 0:40Speaker 2: me knows, I love my Bachelorettes, my betties as we
- 0:44Speaker 2: call each other, and and it's just it just fills
- 0:50Speaker 2: my heart with joy.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Had a beautiful post on social media last night. You
- 0:55Speaker 1: know what I mean, because I watched your social media
- 0:58Speaker 1: post where you were just talking about how how grateful,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and I you know me, I love a grateful heart too.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Maybe that's why we love each other so much. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: love a heart overflowing with gratitude. And I watched your
- 1:07Speaker 1: Instagram stories last night and heard you sharing how grateful
- 1:12Speaker 1: you are, and I just thought, oh man, I couldn't
- 1:14Speaker 1: have put it better myself. Like that's how I felt.
- 1:18Speaker 1: After we filmed. I came home and I was just like,
- 1:19Speaker 1: my heart is so full, like I could just vomit
- 1:22Speaker 1: fullness and gratitude because I just was so happy. I'm
- 1:25Speaker 1: really grateful. There was a period of time where I
- 1:27Speaker 1: wasn't necessarily grateful for my time on the show, but
- 1:30Speaker 1: I am now, and I'm so grateful for the relationship
- 1:33Speaker 1: that I have with the women on the show, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: just the fact that we get the opportunity to go
- 1:38Speaker 1: back so many years later. You know, I think yours
- 1:40Speaker 1: was twenty three years ago. Mine's been like eighteen years ago.
- 1:43Speaker 1: To be able to go back and film and reminisce
- 1:48Speaker 1: and welcome new cast members and just like have no
- 1:52Speaker 1: pressure whatsoever. I don't want Taylor Frankie Paul's position that
- 1:56Speaker 1: she's in right now, you know what I mean. But
- 1:58Speaker 1: just yeah, damn full of love and gratitude for the
- 2:02Speaker 1: women that we get to be surrounded with and call friends,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we truly, like I said in the post, we
- 2:10Speaker 2: are a sisterhood, people who have shared something that only
- 2:15Speaker 2: a very very very small percentage of the world's population
- 2:19Speaker 2: have been able to share, and so it just bonds
- 2:22Speaker 2: us and you know, like there's of course going to
- 2:26Speaker 2: be people who don't vibe with each other, but that's okay,
- 2:28Speaker 2: that's like any family, any sisterhood. So I just I
- 2:33Speaker 2: love each and every one of these girls, and to
- 2:36Speaker 2: be able to see it last night, Like I truly
- 2:39Speaker 2: was so emotional watching it because everyone has such an
- 2:44Speaker 2: amazing perspective and whatever happened on all of our seasons,
- 2:51Speaker 2: whether it was you know, a fairy tale that I
- 2:54Speaker 2: got to live through or not, everyone is just was
- 3:00Speaker 2: just so happy to be filming the Bachelorette before the
- 3:03Speaker 2: final rowse with Taylor and be able to welcome her
- 3:07Speaker 2: and just seeing it on the screen, knowing there's so
- 3:10Speaker 2: much that you all didn't get to see because of
- 3:13Speaker 2: course it ends up on the cutting room floor.
- 3:15Speaker 1: All my friends were like, oh, we can't wait to
- 3:17Speaker 1: watch it, and I was like, there was eighteen of us.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We're all probably on for two seconds, Like that's it,
- 3:21Speaker 1: Like no need you know. I kept getting all these texts.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm so excited I'm so excited. I was like, don't blink,
- 3:28Speaker 1: don't link.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I know, but I really actually think that they represent
- 3:35Speaker 2: Like I feel like everyone kind of got, you know,
- 3:39Speaker 2: a good little bit. I was noticing like Meredith didn't
- 3:44Speaker 2: have a lot of a part last night, and I
- 3:48Speaker 2: don't think like Ashley had a mean I wanted to
- 3:52Speaker 2: see more of Ashley.
- 3:53Speaker 1: She's so great. I love her. I love her. You
- 3:57Speaker 1: know what I think the next season of the Bachelorette
- 3:59Speaker 1: should be are is me and Ashley two older divorced
- 4:03Speaker 1: women where we just get a free for all and
- 4:08Speaker 1: like she and I go at it together like well
- 4:10Speaker 1: that sounds terrible, it weird, but you know what I mean.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That yeah, not that kind of show. This is a
- 4:17Speaker 1: a minute, I know.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Sorry, oh my gosh, I can't.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But you know what, before we talk about that, Trista,
- 4:27Speaker 1: there are some headlines this morning. It actually all started
- 4:31Speaker 1: last night after our special aired. There's some serious headlines.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And you know me and you know my story very well.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So I have lots of feels this morning, lots of
- 4:41Speaker 1: empathy boiling over for our girl.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I know. I'm sure you're all in your fields, that
- 4:48Speaker 2: is for sure. So on the Sun the US Sun website.
- 4:53Speaker 2: The title is or the headline is Bachelorette Taylor Frankie
- 4:59Speaker 2: Paul's ex calls nine one one after violent in quotes
- 5:03Speaker 2: fight as Mormon wives filming screeches to a halt.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm sorry you left at the part where it says
- 5:08Speaker 1: wives in crisis. That is so foul to me. It's
- 5:12Speaker 1: so fouls.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Oh, wives and crisis is yeah, above the whole title
- 5:17Speaker 2: whites and crisis, Like.
- 5:18Speaker 1: They just terniately without reading the article, they are blaming
- 5:21Speaker 1: a woman for this, like of everything, I am fired
- 5:26Speaker 1: up right now, I'm fired up? She is? Why is
- 5:29Speaker 1: that always the woman's fault? Why is it always a
- 5:31Speaker 1: woman's fault? Oh, you just preach yep.
- 5:35Speaker 2: So this was published last night after the special at
- 5:39Speaker 2: like eleven thirty seven pm the special aired here, I
- 5:44Speaker 2: want to say it was like ten ish around there.
- 5:49Speaker 2: So it definitely was published after the special aired. And
- 5:53Speaker 2: the reason we're bringing it up is, you know, we
- 5:55Speaker 2: can talk and we will be talking about the special
- 5:58Speaker 2: and how much fun we had and everything. But I
- 6:01Speaker 2: feel like, because this is breaking news, we don't want
- 6:03Speaker 2: to avoid it. We want to discuss it. And you
- 6:07Speaker 2: have had a history that has been in the headlines.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It's called domestic violence.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, yeah, So I want you to talk about
- 6:19Speaker 2: how you're feeling.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Man, I have all sorts of things when I am
- 6:22Speaker 1: scrolling this article, I have lots of things coming up
- 6:25Speaker 1: for me. I know when something this terrible happened to me. Man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: it was so hard to live out the darkest moments
- 6:36Speaker 1: of my life in the press, where something should have
- 6:40Speaker 1: been so private for me, For my ex Susan and
- 6:45Speaker 1: my children to live out every last court filing, everything
- 6:52Speaker 1: that happened in my life during that period of time.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I mean, was really fucking sick. I was like, really
- 6:59Speaker 1: really sick of it. Absolutely no privacy. I had no
- 7:02Speaker 1: time to kind of go through things on my own.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And my situation was a little different because mine played
- 7:09Speaker 1: out in real time, where like this article came out
- 7:12Speaker 1: last night, but it looks as though this happened a
- 7:14Speaker 1: few weeks ago Trista, which I find really interesting. All
- 7:18Speaker 1: of my stuff, the drama came out immediately. It is
- 7:22Speaker 1: interesting to me that this has not come out for
- 7:27Speaker 1: a few weeks later, and then play it into the
- 7:29Speaker 1: fact that the show starts last night, so there's a
- 7:33Speaker 1: few bear with me. I have a few feelings. I
- 7:37Speaker 1: am really really sad for both of them. Nobody was there,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and the truth of the matter is, and I am
- 7:43Speaker 1: speaking from personal experience here, there is his side, her side,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and the truth. I don't know who was there. I
- 7:50Speaker 1: don't know who was there to witness this, witness it.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I can see what's being reported that the children were there,
- 7:55Speaker 1: which is really unfortunate. I too can fathom and understand
- 8:00Speaker 1: and bear the heaviness of that. But really what goes
- 8:04Speaker 1: on between Taylor and Dakota. No one knows the truth.
- 8:08Speaker 1: No one knows the truth. And when you're in a
- 8:09Speaker 1: toxic relationship, and I'm only speaking from experience here, when
- 8:14Speaker 1: you are in a toxic relationship like that, everything is hard.
- 8:19Speaker 1: They're probably living in fight or flight at every given moment.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And then you take them and put them on the
- 8:25Speaker 1: same television show and add camera crew, fans, TV, all
- 8:31Speaker 1: of the things. She is literally having to face her
- 8:35Speaker 1: trauma every single day, every single day. I'm telling you,
- 8:39Speaker 1: when she posts on her social media about her anxiety
- 8:43Speaker 1: and where she's struggling, like girl, I get it. I
- 8:46Speaker 1: have been there. I just was able to keep mind
- 8:49Speaker 1: quiet for the sanctity of my own personal wellbeing. She
- 8:53Speaker 1: is living this out in real time and filming a
- 8:55Speaker 1: television show, two shows at that two shows in real time.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Having to live in this trista. I'm telling you, Like
- 9:02Speaker 1: for me personally, I was sick every day, I could
- 9:06Speaker 1: not eat. Opening my phone caused me so much anxiety
- 9:10Speaker 1: to see what US Weekly or in Touch or Yahoo
- 9:13Speaker 1: would publish about me. The fact that I had to
- 9:16Speaker 1: live in constant fear that my mugshot, Yeah, how awful
- 9:20Speaker 1: is it to say that would be put in the press.
- 9:25Speaker 1: The sheer amount of anxiety that I felt going to
- 9:29Speaker 1: the grocery store when a woman stopped me and said,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'm really sorry for all the things that you're going
- 9:35Speaker 1: through to have to face other people. I was like
- 9:38Speaker 1: dead inside personally. So when I see this, and I
- 9:43Speaker 1: see this for Taylor, what should be one of the
- 9:47Speaker 1: happiest times of her life right now? You know, like
- 9:50Speaker 1: that poor girl is on a roller coaster. I feel
- 9:52Speaker 1: like I can see her in my head, riding around
- 9:55Speaker 1: in circles and flailing with their arms up saying please
- 9:58Speaker 1: help me, please help me, and we're all just watching
- 10:00Speaker 1: or go by, and she can't get off until the
- 10:02Speaker 1: time is right, you know. But you know there's the
- 10:04Speaker 1: other piece, Trista, where I'm like, oh, I'm a little
- 10:08Speaker 1: angry at the media that they are waiting until Whose
- 10:13Speaker 1: plan was this to release it the night she was
- 10:17Speaker 1: going to be at the Oscars, the night that the
- 10:19Speaker 1: special for her season was going to air. How sick
- 10:23Speaker 1: to me? How sick is it to play on someone's downfall,
- 10:27Speaker 1: her emotional capacity to handle things, his their child's Yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 1: for numbers, like, that's so sick. Yeah, And.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I feel like, if it happened a few weeks ago,
- 10:44Speaker 2: why wasn't it reported? Then? Did it get buried in
- 10:48Speaker 2: order to bring it up now when the press is
- 10:53Speaker 2: all over her and she's doing interviews on the red carpet,
- 10:57Speaker 2: or maybe they get less pressed because it's the Oscar
- 11:00Speaker 2: So the Oscars is going.
- 11:01Speaker 1: To bury it? Well, you and I both know that
- 11:04Speaker 1: ABC has a huge team. There's a huge team of
- 11:07Speaker 1: course that works on the show is on ABC for
- 11:10Speaker 1: a reason. They like a certain amount of drama because
- 11:12Speaker 1: that's why people watch. But they also have a team, Yeah,
- 11:15Speaker 1: protects the Bachelorette. That's their for this season, that's their
- 11:19Speaker 1: golden child. They're going to go to great lengths to
- 11:22Speaker 1: protect her, so maybe this was the best way to
- 11:24Speaker 1: do it. It could get shuffled in all of the
- 11:26Speaker 1: stuff very quickly. When I open up my Instagram this morning,
- 11:30Speaker 1: it's all about Michael B. Jordan at in and out
- 11:32Speaker 1: with his oscar, you know what I mean. I didn't
- 11:34Speaker 1: actually see anything about Taylor Frinky Paul until our producer
- 11:37Speaker 1: Heather sent it over because I was buried by all
- 11:39Speaker 1: the oscar stuff. Like, maybe it was very calculated. Maybe
- 11:43Speaker 1: it is doing her a solid.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I was thinking this when you said this. They didn't
- 11:49Speaker 2: really protect mellowens though, so I think it depends on
- 11:52Speaker 2: who it is and if they're going to, you know,
- 11:55Speaker 2: go to great links to protect them. I want to
- 12:08Speaker 2: read what's in the article so that we can speak
- 12:11Speaker 2: about what was reported, or at least let you all
- 12:14Speaker 2: know it says. An officer said that when cops responded
- 12:17Speaker 2: to the thirty one year old mom of three's home
- 12:20Speaker 2: on February twenty third, there were allegations of violence. There
- 12:24Speaker 2: are allegations quote there are allegations of violence from him,
- 12:27Speaker 2: but it would be fair to say it was made
- 12:29Speaker 2: from both parties.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Quote.
- 12:31Speaker 2: The officer said, she's alleging other things as well. It's
- 12:35Speaker 2: a complicated one, very he said, she said. Another law
- 12:39Speaker 2: enforcement source confirmed it was a domestic incident, but no
- 12:43Speaker 2: arrests were made. The first officer, however, added that there
- 12:46Speaker 2: still could be an arrest, as the cops moved the
- 12:49Speaker 2: case over to the prose Prosecutor's office for review. The
- 12:53Speaker 2: case is still an ongoing and active investigation. The source
- 12:58Speaker 2: close to production told the Son that filming for The
- 13:01Speaker 2: Secret Lives of Mormon Wise has been paused for the
- 13:04Speaker 2: past two weeks, with the rest of the cast allegedly
- 13:08Speaker 2: refusing to film. Taylor is definitely in some hot water.
- 13:12Speaker 2: That was a quote, the insider said. The source claims
- 13:15Speaker 2: that Taylor and Dakota's relationship has been volatile for some time.
- 13:19Speaker 2: The insider claim that production has been protecting Taylor in
- 13:22Speaker 2: her relationship with Dakota, beyond her twenty twenty three arrest
- 13:26Speaker 2: for aggravated assaults against him. In the particular incident in
- 13:29Speaker 2: which Dakota called nine on one, the source claimed, this
- 13:32Speaker 2: makes me so sad that their toddler son ever was present,
- 13:36Speaker 2: and that is a big reason the rest of the
- 13:38Speaker 2: cast is refusing to film. Well, good for them. I
- 13:42Speaker 2: think that was the last straw for Dakota. He pretty
- 13:45Speaker 2: much just had enough, the insider explained.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Explained.
- 13:48Speaker 2: The insider claimed that since all the main cast members
- 13:51Speaker 2: are mothers, they are very upset over this and they
- 13:54Speaker 2: don't want to film until the issue is properly addressed. Quote.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Everyone is refusing to film unless they can actually talk
- 14:02Speaker 2: about Taylor and Dakota's incident, and production is not going
- 14:06Speaker 2: to allow that, the source added. The insider explained that Taylor,
- 14:10Speaker 2: who attended the Oscars on Sunday, is Hulu's quote unquote
- 14:14Speaker 2: prized child quote. That's why she gets all these opportunities.
- 14:18Speaker 2: No one can really go against her because she's so
- 14:20Speaker 2: protected by the production and Hulu and Disney, the insider said,
- 14:24Speaker 2: So now they're all like, we've had enough of this.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Everyone needs to know about this. We're not cool with this,
- 14:29Speaker 2: and we're not going to film until it gets aired out.
- 14:32Speaker 2: So that's essentially where things are at. The insider said,
- 14:35Speaker 2: despite the outrageous allegations, they don't believe Taylor has started
- 14:39Speaker 2: drinking again. Production has been begging everyone to film, the
- 14:44Speaker 2: insider continued, and everyone's like, no, we're not going to
- 14:47Speaker 2: do it. Until a statement gets issued about this incident.
- 14:50Speaker 2: The Insider claimed it keeps going. The Insider claimed there
- 14:54Speaker 2: was a similar incident that triggered Taylor's stay at a
- 14:56Speaker 2: retreat at the start of season three. SUN has contacted
- 15:00Speaker 2: attorneys and reps for Taylor, an attorney for Dakota, as
- 15:03Speaker 2: well as Hulu for this story. Dakota and Taylor have
- 15:06Speaker 2: been at odds for years and recently fought over custody,
- 15:10Speaker 2: as as exclusively revealed by The US Sun. The dispute
- 15:14Speaker 2: began in June when Dakota filed a petition regarding the
- 15:16Speaker 2: custody of their then one year old son. Ever, in
- 15:20Speaker 2: his filing, Dakota requested that the court formally established custody arrangements,
- 15:25Speaker 2: a visitation, visitation schedule, and child support requirements.
- 15:29Speaker 1: It's just going on about the sensitivity of the subject.
- 15:31Speaker 1: You know, I almost feel a little dirty even reading
- 15:34Speaker 1: it all because there is a child involved, and again
- 15:37Speaker 1: just this being so close to my heart, everything that
- 15:39Speaker 1: they're going through, custody, child sport, all of that. I
- 15:43Speaker 1: had to play all of this out in the media,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and the truth of the matter is, none of it
- 15:45Speaker 1: is anybody's business. None of it is anybody's business. The
- 15:49Speaker 1: fact that we go to court over real life things,
- 15:52Speaker 1: and because we are public people, these sickos just stand
- 15:57Speaker 1: on the stairs. If your name is recognizable, they write
- 16:01Speaker 1: an article and they sell it so that they can
- 16:03Speaker 1: hit ads like what's in here. I'm not saying that
- 16:06Speaker 1: these things might not be true, Trista. They could be
- 16:10Speaker 1: we don't know, but I'm saying from experience, this makes
- 16:13Speaker 1: me feel gross that we're reading about her life because
- 16:16Speaker 1: I had to do it too. The fact that people
- 16:19Speaker 1: published where I worked, how much money I made, what
- 16:22Speaker 1: I was worth, Like, it's just sick. It's none of
- 16:25Speaker 1: anybody's business. I asked for my court documents to be blocked. Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 2: No, I totally understand what you are saying, and to
- 16:34Speaker 2: an extent I agree.
- 16:36Speaker 1: But I also feel like people.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Are going to want to know what's happening because Taylor
- 16:43Speaker 2: and Dakota have been on a reality show, Like their
- 16:46Speaker 2: relationship is part of a reality show. So you were
- 16:50Speaker 2: not part of a reality show. It wasn't like your
- 16:53Speaker 2: daily life, your real life with Taylor and Dakota. I
- 16:56Speaker 2: feel like it's a little bit different, and a part
- 16:59Speaker 2: of me is understands where the rest of the cast
- 17:03Speaker 2: for Mormon Wives is coming from because they want it
- 17:06Speaker 2: out in the open. They want to be able to
- 17:08Speaker 2: talk about it, because it's like the elephant in the room.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Like if they don't eat that even that it doesn't
- 17:14Speaker 1: mean just because they're on a show and they met
- 17:16Speaker 1: on a show and they put their life out there,
- 17:17Speaker 1: that they have to share every last dirty detail with
- 17:20Speaker 1: the public or with me. And yeah, it just doesn't.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And honestly, you know, the media as well as I do.
- 17:25Speaker 1: A source, a source who is sharing these details, who's
- 17:29Speaker 1: doing that. I'm sorry. These girls are getting paid money.
- 17:32Speaker 1: There's no why they're standing There's no way they're standing
- 17:35Speaker 1: around going oh, I'm not going to film today and
- 17:37Speaker 1: make my three hundred thousand dollars unless Taylor stands up
- 17:39Speaker 1: and says I hit him in the face again, I
- 17:42Speaker 1: don't know that to be true. I'm just I'm exaggerating
- 17:44Speaker 1: a bit, but like, I just don't see that happening.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And it has to be a little bit more serious
- 17:51Speaker 1: than what we are reading. Because production is money. Trista,
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know that as well as I do. They don't
- 17:58Speaker 1: just shut down for anything.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Talking this is significant, this is there's a big reason
- 18:05Speaker 2: why they're not filming, and this is I would assume
- 18:08Speaker 2: this is it, but they are. We know for a
- 18:10Speaker 2: fact that they are not filming right now, So I
- 18:13Speaker 2: think it's I. I mean, I hear you. I as
- 18:17Speaker 2: someone we both have been in the public eye. There
- 18:20Speaker 2: are a lot of things that I'm like, just leave
- 18:23Speaker 2: us alone, like it's none of your business. But she is.
- 18:28Speaker 2: She is a different case altogether because she this reality
- 18:33Speaker 2: show Mormon Wives is part of her real life. And
- 18:36Speaker 2: I get that you're you're thinking of it in like
- 18:39Speaker 2: terms of a salacious like let's gossip about it and
- 18:43Speaker 2: talk about their business when we shouldn't be. But I
- 18:46Speaker 2: feel like if someone I'm trying to put myself in
- 18:49Speaker 2: the place of one of the other cast members of
- 18:51Speaker 2: Mormon Wives, and you can't act like you can't go
- 18:55Speaker 2: about like everything is okay. If she's your friend, then
- 19:00Speaker 2: in real life I would talk to you about what
- 19:04Speaker 2: is going on if you're my friend, because I want
- 19:07Speaker 2: to make sure that you're okay. So I look at
- 19:10Speaker 2: it more of a not sillacious, but this has got
- 19:14Speaker 2: to be all encompassing, like taking over their life. As
- 19:19Speaker 2: you said, it's super stressful. It is involving every aspect
- 19:24Speaker 2: of everything that they're doing, and probably the second that
- 19:27Speaker 2: they wake up in the morning, that's what they think about.
- 19:30Speaker 2: When they go to bed at night, that's what they're
- 19:32Speaker 2: thinking about. So how can you not talk about it?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? Just from a like,
- 19:37Speaker 2: let's be real, let's be real, this is a reality show.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Let's be real, and let's talk about it at least
- 19:43Speaker 2: at least just bring it up and say, you know what,
- 19:46Speaker 2: I'm not comfortable talking about it or whatever, but I
- 19:50Speaker 2: feel like it needs to be addressed in order for
- 19:52Speaker 2: them to film. I see why that maybe.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And that looks like where they take some time to
- 19:58Speaker 1: figure some things out. I don't know what this looks
- 19:59Speaker 1: like like for either one of them. They obviously need
- 20:01Speaker 1: some help. They're obviously in the center of a very
- 20:04Speaker 1: toxic scenario and a very toxic relationship, and honestly, until
- 20:10Speaker 1: the two of them can get help for whatever, that
- 20:12Speaker 1: looks like they're not going to be able to take
- 20:13Speaker 1: a step back and stop jumping in the cycle of unhealth.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I had to take a very hard look at my
- 20:20Speaker 1: life and step back and work on me and stop
- 20:24Speaker 1: jumping on the crazy train. I had to stop, like
- 20:26Speaker 1: for my own sanity, for my own well being. Look
- 20:28Speaker 1: at where my life had become. And maybe for whatever reason,
- 20:31Speaker 1: Taylor's just not there yet. For whatever reason, She's got
- 20:35Speaker 1: to be broken a little bit more, or him for
- 20:37Speaker 1: that matter. It's just ah, man, it just is so
- 20:41Speaker 1: hard when there's kids involved. It's so hard when there's
- 20:44Speaker 1: kids involved, you know. And then you take a mom,
- 20:47Speaker 1: a mama bear who wants to protect her children but
- 20:50Speaker 1: also is crazy. Let me tell you, when I was
- 20:54Speaker 1: in the thick of it, I was crazy, Trista like
- 20:56Speaker 1: I was crazy. So you add life, life and our
- 21:01Speaker 1: children on top of that, react flipping crazy. I will
- 21:05Speaker 1: go off the rails. And it is so hard to
- 21:09Speaker 1: come down from that state a fight or flight. When
- 21:11Speaker 1: you are there, when you are so deeply triggered by
- 21:14Speaker 1: pain and unhealth and a toxic relationship, it is so
- 21:18Speaker 1: hard to bring yourself back down to reality without the
- 21:22Speaker 1: help of some professional, some therapy, some distance. And that's
- 21:26Speaker 1: the truth. They're filming a television show. They can't. I
- 21:29Speaker 1: can literally I put cameras up everywhere, and I can
- 21:31Speaker 1: tell my ex not to come to my home. I
- 21:35Speaker 1: can do that. They're filming a television show where she
- 21:39Speaker 1: has to show up every day and look him in
- 21:42Speaker 1: the face for whatever has happened that we may or
- 21:45Speaker 1: may not know. She's got to look at him every
- 21:48Speaker 1: day and film a show and pretend like it's not
- 21:51Speaker 1: eating her alive on the inside.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I know it's got to be so hard. My heart
- 21:57Speaker 2: goes out to her. I cannot image the show itself,
- 22:14Speaker 2: the Bachelorette itself, take Away Mormon Wives, I mean, just
- 22:19Speaker 2: the Bachelorette itself can be hard because you are thrust
- 22:22Speaker 2: into the public eye. But she's got two reality shows,
- 22:26Speaker 2: and she's got whatever is happening with the coda going
- 22:29Speaker 2: on and any other drama. Like I from what I understand,
- 22:34Speaker 2: the show is not without drama.
- 22:36Speaker 1: So I feel like.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It's got to be so so hard. And I'm just
- 22:41Speaker 2: sending all the positive vibes to Taylor and really praying
- 22:48Speaker 2: that she can just stay strong for her kids, like
- 22:50Speaker 2: because bottom line, that's that's what's most important I know,
- 22:54Speaker 2: and I know that's what's most important to her too.
- 22:57Speaker 2: And yeah, actually I also have to say positive vibes
- 23:01Speaker 2: to Dakota too. We none of us know what happened
- 23:05Speaker 2: that day because we weren't there, and so who knows.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I feel like, as just a parent, it's got to
- 23:13Speaker 2: be just so hard thinking about your kids and wanting
- 23:17Speaker 2: to protect them, and being in the public eye just
- 23:21Speaker 2: throws a whole huge wrench into that.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I wish I could say that. I can't imagine Trista,
- 23:25Speaker 1: but I have a pretty good grasp of how awful
- 23:28Speaker 1: it might be for the two of them today, you know,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and then right there's a baby. There's a baby. There's
- 23:34Speaker 1: children that you have to consider there, and that's the
- 23:38Speaker 1: you know, end all, be all right there right there.
- 23:40Speaker 1: They need to do everything that they can to protect
- 23:43Speaker 1: their child right now in this moment. And if that
- 23:45Speaker 1: means they're separate or one is not seeing the child
- 23:49Speaker 1: over the other for whatever reason, first and foremost, those
- 23:52Speaker 1: children need to be protected. And if what we're reading
- 23:54Speaker 1: is true that this happened with a child in presence,
- 23:57Speaker 1: we're talking a whole other scenario, Trista. We're talking child
- 24:00Speaker 1: protective services. We're talking a completely different scenario with this,
- 24:04Speaker 1: When children are involved in domestic violence, it is completely
- 24:08Speaker 1: completely different. I was actually shocked to see that they
- 24:12Speaker 1: didn't take anyone to jail in the state of California,
- 24:14Speaker 1: when there is domestic violence, one person has to go
- 24:17Speaker 1: to jail. Because you've told me that. Yeah, because of
- 24:20Speaker 1: the oj Simpson case. He never went to jail, never
- 24:22Speaker 1: went to jail, and then ultimately Nicole ended up being murdered, right,
- 24:27Speaker 1: So they changed it after that. When there is domestic
- 24:30Speaker 1: violence in the state of California, someone always We saw
- 24:33Speaker 1: this with the Gabby Petito case, you know what I mean,
- 24:37Speaker 1: she was taken to jail and people were in an
- 24:38Speaker 1: uproar that she was the one taken to jail. They
- 24:40Speaker 1: do that in a means to protect someone so that
- 24:42Speaker 1: once the police leave, things don't escalate further and someone
- 24:46Speaker 1: gets really really hurt. So in a domestic violence case,
- 24:49Speaker 1: someone goes to jail.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:51Speaker 1: In my case it was me, we won't go there.
- 24:55Speaker 1: But I was really shocked when we read that article
- 24:58Speaker 1: that neither one of them went to jail. And I
- 25:01Speaker 1: don't know, you know Idaho laws.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Was it in Idaho or was it in Utah?
- 25:06Speaker 1: I think it was in Utah, Oh, Utah, Okay, whatever, Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I know laws in California because I've had to pay
- 25:11Speaker 1: a lot of money for them. I don't know the
- 25:14Speaker 1: laws in Utah. But I found that very very interesting
- 25:17Speaker 1: that neither one of them had to go to jail
- 25:19Speaker 1: when it was domestic violence and that there was a
- 25:23Speaker 1: child involved. I found that very interesting.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I agree, I think that that is wise.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I know that you struggled with that because when they
- 25:31Speaker 2: arrested you, you had done nothing wrong and it was
- 25:34Speaker 2: on video from what I understand, So I don't know. Anyway,
- 25:42Speaker 2: we don't have to go down that road. I feel like,
- 25:45Speaker 2: you know, we are very sympathetic empathetic to tailor in
- 25:51Speaker 2: Dakota's situation, and we send them all the love and
- 25:57Speaker 2: and hope that they can just focus on the kids,
- 26:01Speaker 2: which I know Dakota is doing. He did just his
- 26:04Speaker 2: last post he was with ever in Idaho. So it
- 26:10Speaker 2: seems like they're making memories and are happy.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And that's all we want. In the grand skin, that's.
- 26:15Speaker 2: All we want.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That's all we want. That's a healthy relationship for dad,
- 26:18Speaker 1: a healthy relationship for mom. Hopefully she finds love, Hopefully
- 26:22Speaker 1: he finds something else, and then within time and it
- 26:24Speaker 1: always takes time, hopefully there is some healing in that
- 26:28Speaker 1: relationship for the sake of the children. That's what you
- 26:30Speaker 1: hope that I'm a year makes a world of a difference.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'll promise you that.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Okay, that was a lot to cover with
- 26:39Speaker 2: the breaking news with Taylor and Dakota. We are going
- 26:43Speaker 2: to be back really soon with more from the Before
- 26:45Speaker 2: the Final Row Special
