- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40One of the biggest and unexpected perks.
- 0:44Of having. A globally recognised.
- 0:46Podcast. Is that I get a chance to work
- 0:49with very creative, successful people from all around the
- 0:53world. And this hypnosis session was
- 0:56actually created for a filmmaker.
- 1:00Filmmaker that had had Hollywood movies with major actors and
- 1:04they were working on a new screenplay.
- 1:07And I love movies. You've probably heard lots of
- 1:09movie metaphors in my hypnosis session.
- 1:12So what this was all about was getting them into a flow state.
- 1:18Where they could. Be really creative now.
- 1:20They had a specific story, a film, a screenplay that they had
- 1:25an idea for, but they wanted to emulate times in the past where
- 1:30they got in that state of flow where they were able to just
- 1:33dial in and create. Now there's a few things going
- 1:37on here. There is levels of regression to
- 1:40a resource state, disassociation.
- 1:43It uses this idea of a cinema screen, which any filmmaker has
- 1:47watched a lot of movies, so they can easily picture a cinema
- 1:50screen and access certain resource states from a
- 1:55disassociated third person perspective, but also an
- 1:58associated. They're stepping into and
- 2:00feeling those resources and then future pacing so they can get a
- 2:05sense of what the impact will be if they are able to tap into
- 2:09that flow. State develop a.
- 2:11Stream of consciousness. And what's really cool about
- 2:15this is that. I could.
- 2:16Visibly see the differences in the.
- 2:19Client. When someone is blocked or
- 2:21restricted, there's a lot of expressions around the kind of
- 2:25the shoulders and the neck that something is stuck because they
- 2:28feel conflicted. When people get in that flow
- 2:30state, they kind of relax a lot. Even after the session, their
- 2:34words were much more fluid. And that gave me an idea that we
- 2:37probably did create that change to enable them to get into that
- 2:42flow state and and develop that stream of consciousness.
- 2:46A stream of consciousness, by the way, is effectively where
- 2:50you almost become a channel for your fruition and your
- 2:53subconscious mind. And I'm approaching about 2000
- 2:58episodes for the Hypnotist podcast, and given that 99% of
- 3:03them come from real hypnosis sessions, I experienced that
- 3:07stream of consciousness a lot. Before a session.
- 3:10Starts. I'm making loads and loads of
- 3:12notes, typing them off my screen.
- 3:14I've got 2 huge screens in front of Maine.
- 3:17I'm making loads of notes, but generally when the hypnosis
- 3:20session starts I might look at my notes every now and then.
- 3:23But really what I'm doing is just allowing my subconscious,
- 3:26my intuition to do the hypnosis and I'm just the vessel.
- 3:31I'm the catalyst for that. Now, I would call that a flow
- 3:34state. I would call that an intuitive
- 3:36state. And generally people are at
- 3:38their best when they're in that state.
- 3:40If they have to mentally prepare something or force it, generally
- 3:45they're not in that flow state. Now it's unlikely.
- 3:49That you are a. Writer for Hollywood movies, in
- 3:53which case you don't have to in order to benefit from this
- 3:56session. But I would say that there is
- 3:58probably an area of your life that you would benefit from
- 4:01being either more creative in or getting into that flow state.
- 4:05And that flow state might be a sport.
- 4:08It might be a way of thinking. If you're into meditation, that
- 4:11might be your place to do that. And in terms of the stream of
- 4:15consciousness, these days, everyone can be a creator.
- 4:19You can create art, you can create music, you can create
- 4:23words on a page, you can have a podcast and get into that flow
- 4:28state. So there's lots of ways that can
- 4:30become an outlet for that. But I want you to think where in
- 4:33your life would it be most beneficial to be either in a
- 4:37flow state or develop this intuitive stream of
- 4:40consciousness? And just by thinking about that
- 4:43before the hypnosis starts, you're priming your subconscious
- 4:47to make the changes in the very area of your life that it would
- 4:51be most beneficial. So give that some thought.
- 4:53And by the way, if you are interested in working with me
- 4:56directly and, and by the way, this client had listened to me
- 4:59for years before actually reaching out.
- 5:02And when they reached out, we got them really well.
- 5:05And it was obvious that I could help them in the way that they
- 5:07wanted to be helped. But I think a lot of people
- 5:11listening, perhaps you right now have listened and it is just a
- 5:15podcast without realizing that we could.
- 5:18Actually be. Working together bespoke to.
- 5:21You and your situation to help. You make breakthroughs in the
- 5:24quality of your life. So if you've been thinking about
- 5:27it but not taking action. On that really click the
- 5:30description. Button or the More info section
- 5:33scroll. Down see.
- 5:34Where it says schedule a consultation call, click that
- 5:37and within the next few days we could be having a chat in real
- 5:40life rather than just you hearing my voice on a podcast.
- 5:44So if that's of interest, check that out for now though, you
- 5:47might get some benefit from this.
- 5:48It's quite a creative session, quite a bit going on, very
- 5:51resourceful, very positive. So find a quiet, comfortable
- 5:55place, the kind of environment where you're not going to be
- 5:58distracted or disturbed. Relax and.
- 6:01Enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 6:29you breathe in, breathe in that feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 6:39And as you exhale, just allow any feelings of tension, any
- 6:49feelings of doubt, hesitation, to feel that they are slowly and
- 6:57incrementally leaving your body every time you breathe out.
- 7:04And when you breathe in, breathe in deeper than you normally
- 7:14would, but breathe in that feeling of distilled,
- 7:21resourceful relaxation. And as you exhale, just allow
- 7:32that outward breath to be almost twice as long as it normally
- 7:39would be, That slow, long, relaxing outward breath.
- 7:52And in doing so, you are calming the conscious mind and awakening
- 8:01the subconscious mind, the part that knows how many times your
- 8:09heart needs to beat per minute, if you need to breathe faster or
- 8:15slower, how to catch a ball without thinking about it is all
- 8:23your subconscious mind. And I want you to get a feeling
- 8:30that your subconscious mind can take ideas, thoughts and weave
- 8:38them together like connections. Isn't that what creativity is?
- 8:47Linking an idea, the situation to come up with something new,
- 8:59original, impactful? The deeper you breathe, the more
- 9:06relaxed you become, and the more relaxed you become, the deeper
- 9:12you breathe. And as your body relaxes, your
- 9:19imagination awakens. So just imagine keeping your
- 9:25physical body there, and allow your mind, your imagination to
- 9:33wander through space and time to the forests of Vietnam and
- 9:44wearing whatever clothing is appropriate to be in lush
- 9:49forests near streams and rivers, hills and holes.
- 10:00And almost while you're there, you're thinking about the rich
- 10:04history of this place. Different people at different
- 10:10times, each and everyone with their own unique way of looking
- 10:17at the world, experiences, perhaps even tragedies, all
- 10:27linked to this place in your imagination.
- 10:35And I want you to get a sense that there is treasure in the
- 10:41trauma, wisdom in the wounds. And just imagine finding a
- 10:51clearing in the lush forest. And right in the middle is a
- 10:57comfortable chair, perhaps the most comfortable chair you've
- 11:02ever seen. Imagine placing your body there
- 11:07on that chair, sinking into it as I countdown from 12:50.
- 11:15Just imagine feeling deeper and deeper.
- 11:20Relax there in that chair, in that forest, there in your
- 11:25imagination. 10 just releasing any tension around your eyelids,
- 11:32feeling them get heavier. That's in nine, focusing on your
- 11:38forehead. Now just imagine those muscles
- 11:43responsible for expressions like concern and surprise.
- 11:48Loosen, relax. Tension melts away as eight.
- 11:57That sensation of relaxation goes into your jaw.
- 12:03As you said, the intention to really release any tension there
- 12:07around the mouth and the jaw. That's it.
- 12:11And in doing so, feel that ripple of relaxation going down
- 12:17your neck as 8 becomes 7. And imagine your neck and your
- 12:23shoulders getting deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 12:32Seven becomes 6. Just imagine arms feeling limp,
- 12:36loose, heavy, really heavy. As six becomes 5, focus now on
- 12:45your breathing and imagine loosening every muscle connected
- 12:49to the breath, from your mouth, around your windpipe, down into
- 12:57your lungs, your chest, your diaphragm.
- 13:00Breathing becomes effortless, and as five becomes 4, spread
- 13:06that relaxation to your internal organs, your heart, your
- 13:12stomach, down into your gut and really feel that relaxation
- 13:18there in the gut as four becomes 3, rippling down to into your
- 13:24legs. Legs now feeling limp, loose and
- 13:30heavy, almost like your arms. And legs now like the limbs of a
- 13:37puppet with no strings. That's it.
- 13:41Feel them that way and they become that way.
- 13:48And as three becomes 2, feel that rate relaxation going down
- 13:52into your calf muscles and then your ankles.
- 13:56And as two becomes one, just feel relaxation from the tip of
- 14:00your toes, rippling all the way up your legs, torso, top of your
- 14:05head and then back down to your fingertips.
- 14:09And just imagine drifting off into a dream like sleep.
- 14:18And in that dream like sleep, I want you to imagine there is a
- 14:21door leading into your own private cinema.
- 14:26Maybe it's an old fashioned cinema or maybe super modern.
- 14:31Your unconscious decides. You walk through the door into
- 14:35the cinema. But instead of watching the
- 14:38film, I want you to see a memory.
- 14:43I want you to see a memory of you when you were in that
- 14:51creative, prolific flow state, almost like a stream of
- 14:58consciousness. Maybe you can remember the time,
- 15:06place, even the project and just.
- 15:11Be an observer. Seeing yourself like someone
- 15:13else this time, looking for clues.
- 15:19What was it about that time? What were the ingredients that
- 15:24led to that state? Maybe your belief?
- 15:31Maybe the lack of distractions, maybe a crystal clear intention.
- 15:41Maybe it was the music, or a connection to a story, a
- 15:45character, an idea. Maybe it's because you already
- 15:52had the road map. You can consider the idea, the
- 16:00concept, the structure, almost like architectural blueprints.
- 16:10And the writing, well, that's just building what's already
- 16:15been mapped out. Consider that the writing
- 16:19becomes easy when you have a clear idea of how things are.
- 16:28And when you see that version of you, prolific, creative in that
- 16:34flow state, imagine floating into the screen, into your body,
- 16:41and imagine taking possession of that version of you,
- 16:46reactivating all of those resources within you now, neural
- 16:52pathways, firing, awakening. Feel that intention.
- 16:59Feel the clarity. Feel the belief that a
- 17:06combination of inspiration, clarity just means that all the
- 17:14right ingredients are there. The turn thoughts into things,
- 17:22ideas into reality, returning The Mirage into something real.
- 17:34And I want you to breathe how you would breathe if that was
- 17:36true. Feel the posture, the sense of
- 17:42certainty. And I want you to feel that flow
- 17:49state somewhere in your body, maybe your heart, your head,
- 17:54your gut, or somewhere else. And when you feel where that
- 17:59flow state exists, take your hand and place it on that
- 18:05location. That's it.
- 18:11Keep it there and imagine a shape in that very location.
- 18:18Give it a colour and turn it the brightness.
- 18:21Make that colour glow. Make that 3 dimensional shape
- 18:26move and notice how it's moving, rotating, pulsating, vibrating.
- 18:36Increase the speed, increase the brightness until you have a
- 18:40moving or spinning brightly coloured shape there.
- 18:45Give it a sound. This is now a way of reaccessing
- 18:53this feeling that whenever you think of that shape in that
- 18:58colour, at that brightness, with that sound in that location, you
- 19:05are giving a suggestion to your unconscious mind.
- 19:09You are priming it to create a flow state.
- 19:14And maybe that state manifest immediately or maybe it takes
- 19:20minutes or even hours, but it will come.
- 19:24It will come when you act as if you are already in that state.
- 19:34I want you to get a feeling that emotions are like two way
- 19:39streets. Do you smile because you're
- 19:43happy or are you happy because you smile?
- 19:48Are you in the flow state because you have a clear
- 19:53intention, you're prepared, you have no distractions, and you're
- 19:58working in a focused way? Or are you doing those things
- 20:03because you've already found that state and notice how it
- 20:08doesn't matter? It doesn't matter if you feel
- 20:12the feeling and do the things, or do the things and feel the
- 20:17feeling. And since it doesn't matter, why
- 20:22not do it by design? Float back to that cinema, but
- 20:28this time imagine yourself in your future.
- 20:34That could be hours in your future days, in your future,
- 20:39perhaps further. But I want you to see you with a
- 20:46specific project or intention in mind, something specific, and
- 20:52think of where you would need to be to increase the probability
- 20:58of being prolific, focused, tenacious in that flow state.
- 21:05And then imagine you have everything you need and nothing
- 21:10you don't. No distractions, only resources.
- 21:17Might be notes, images, transcripts or even music
- 21:25playing, but I want you to imagine yourself in that future
- 21:29situation with everything you need and nothing you don't.
- 21:35But there is a clarity in your eyes.
- 21:39That version of you will not leave until they've done what
- 21:46they need to do. They will not back down and
- 21:52whether they find that flow state or not, they will not back
- 21:59down and if you can see that future version of you being in a
- 22:07state conducive. To producing.
- 22:10Great work. Let me know by nodding your head
- 22:17and then float into the screen. Feel that you're floating into a
- 22:21future version of you that is ready to do whatever is
- 22:27necessary. And maybe you're typing or
- 22:32writing or recording audio. Maybe you're mapping things out
- 22:38on a big white board, or maybe maybe you're just typing in
- 22:48linear form. Imagine doing whatever you need
- 22:52to to turn thoughts into things, ideas into reality, a vision
- 23:04into a script. And I want you to imagine that
- 23:13distractions try and lure you off course.
- 23:19Just like the sirens outside Troy, luring you to the rocks,
- 23:27luring you to wasted time, luring you to mediocrity.
- 23:34You know the game. The distractions will not deter
- 23:41you. I want you to feel that resolve,
- 23:46that focus that nothing can steer you off course.
- 23:53And then imagine that shape in that location, in that color
- 23:58with that sound glowing in that way, moving in that way is
- 24:03within you. You feel the flow state or
- 24:06maybe? The second wind.
- 24:11And it almost feels like you're channelling something from your
- 24:15subconscious into existence in almost just feels effortless.
- 24:23And don't be surprised if time gets distorted like you're in a
- 24:30wormhole, like you're in the 4th dimension, that the rules don't
- 24:39apply in this moment. And then imagine looking down
- 24:44and seeing what you've done, and it almost feels miraculous.
- 24:51I want you to feel that power that comes from being a creator.
- 24:58Something didn't exist and now it does because of you.
- 25:04And then imagine how this could ripple through time, ripple
- 25:09through the world. What people could get involved?
- 25:15What responsibilities and doors will lit open for you?
- 25:21Who will see it and how will it impact people and where could it
- 25:26go? And then you realize all of
- 25:32those things are possible once The thing is created.
- 25:39And if the creation is never created, all of those things are
- 25:44just figments of your imagination.
- 25:48So why not do the thing, create the outcome, and allow life to
- 25:57ripple through space and time to create wonderful, powerful and
- 26:05significant consequences? They say you reap what you sow,
- 26:10so enjoy sowing knowing that you will enjoy.
- 26:20The fruits. Of your labor when the time
- 26:23comes and if this feels that you are priming your mind, brain and
- 26:33subconscious to do whatever is necessary to take your life in
- 26:39the very direction that you desire and deserve, let me know.
- 26:42But nodding your head and then imagine floating out of the
- 26:48screen into a chair, leaving the chair and leaving that private
- 26:56cinema, walking out of a door. And just imagine finding
- 27:03yourself on a chair in a clearing in a forest in Vietnam.
- 27:14But imagine a manuscript or a screenplay printed, bound in
- 27:19your hands. It exists now, and I want you to
- 27:28imagine how many pages, how heavy it feels.
- 27:34But just get a deep seated conviction, unshakable belief
- 27:41that this is an incredible piece of work.
- 27:47Work you're proud of, something that will create a chain
- 27:56reaction that will be wonderful for your future.
- 28:01As you leave the chair, imagine walking towards a river and
- 28:08seeing a reflection of you in the river with qualities that
- 28:13were always there but are now more obvious.
- 28:21This is the version of you that you are unlocking, amplifying,
- 28:29and you're looking forward to see what this version of you can
- 28:31do. But it's time to leave this
- 28:34place in your imagination, knowing that this has been a
- 28:39journey of thoughts that's within thoughts, ideas within
- 28:44ideas, and dreams within dreams as I now count from 1:00 to
- 28:5110:00 to take you from where you are to fully in the present.
- 28:57Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 29:01nose. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your
- 29:04toes. Connect and calibrate into the
- 29:07here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken
- 29:16you. Starting to count 123 waking up
- 29:24456 more alert 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 29:29Open your eyes 910. Wide awake.
- 29:34Wide awake. Wide awake.
