- 0:26Well, hello, everyone, and welcome to the 10 Penny Files.
- 0:29I'm your host, Dr.
- 0:30Sherry Tenpenny.
- 0:32The 10 Penny Files is daily conversations meant to inform and educate, not just to entertain.
- 0:37I come prepared and we let the discussion unfold naturally with people worth hearing on topics worth exploring.
- 0:44If it matters to your body, your freedom, or your future, we talk about it here on this show.
- 0:49Every day I have conversations with authors, documentary filmmakers, and independent thinkers whose work challenges mainstream messaging.
- 0:57We cover a wide range of topics here.
- 0:59So there's really something for everyone.
- 1:01We talk about government politics, history, astronomy, pets and travel, food farming and fitness, vaccines, health and health policy.
- 1:10And once a week, I have a conversation with an author or a pastor who writes about faith and biblical principles.
- 1:17My goal is to introduce you to topics you've never heard of before or topics you always wish that you'd had time to explore, but didn't know where to begin.
- 1:25Let our authors show you the way.
- 1:28Join me every day Monday through Friday at 3 p.m.
- 1:30Eastern at the 10 Penny Files, where you will hear from voices that have been ignored, silenced, or censored, but may but truly have something very important to say.
- 1:40Now, before we begin today's episode, I encourage all the listeners and watchers to please come and join us and become a 10 Petty Prime member.
- 1:48Prime members receive an exclusive monthly white paper and a recorded presentation that I do both.
- 1:53And then we have acts you have access to our monthly Ask the Expert Masterclass at the end of the month, where I find the best expert to cover the topic that we are exploring for the month.
- 2:03And each one of each month we are going through a different body part, because it's my my belief, my strong belief, if you know a little bit more about your body, that will give you the baseline to where you can uh better take care of your health.
- 2:17So these masterclasses are so good and they're part of your membership.
- 2:21So you really want to join us, go to Prime Membership.drtempity.com, prime membership.dr tempity.com to learn more and support our work.
- 2:32One last thing for those of you that have been listening to the show regularly.
- 2:35I start the show with the same introduction every week because we are growing rapidly, adding new listeners and new watchers.
- 2:42And so if this is your first time joining us, greatly, we greatly welcome you to be here.
- 2:47And if you are a regular, we are even more grateful for you to be here.
- 2:51So this is a way to know every day you know what we're going to be talking about and who you're going to be listening to, somebody that really shakes the trees.
- 3:00So now let's get started with somebody who really shakes the leaves off the trees with my good friend Matthew Hunt.
- 3:08Today's conversation is with the founder of Prep for Survival, Matthew Hunt, a resilience-focused education platform that helps individual families, individuals, families, and small businesses navigate an era of six of accelerating technological and societal change.
- 3:25Today we're going to be talking about three AI-focused e-books and an upcoming webinar on AGI, the artificial general intelligence and singularity.
- 3:37Matt, thank you so much for joining me here this morning on the 10 Penny Files.
- 3:42It's so good to see you again.
- 3:43And I can't wait to dive into this discussion.
- 3:46Well, thank you for having me.
- 3:48This is really important.
- 3:49This is the year.
- 3:51Everything changes.
- 3:52And you know, you don't have to believe anybody out here that's writing ebooks about it or whatever.
- 3:57Listen to the people that are creating the technology.
- 4:00They're all saying this is the year.
- 4:02This is the year.
- 4:03You know, you and I did a five-week boot camp about AI and health care and kindly the groundwork.
- 4:09And that was back in April 2024.
- 4:12Right.
- 4:13I think that when we did that, you were right over the target, but I think we were a little bit ahead of the curve.
- 4:18Now, two years later, AI has advanced massively.
- 4:22It was only three years ago talking about AI, and it seemed like it was, yes, we'll get there somewhere.
- 4:28Well, the someday is here.
- 4:30So two years left uh later, AI is massively and rapidly advanced, and you've continued to keep your eye on all these developments.
- 4:39What's the idea behind this new webinar two years later with all these developments that we're planning to do on April 11th, 2026?
- 4:48So we've created that webinar circling the wagons around the IG idea of AGI singularity.
- 4:57Singularity is the point where you know AI steps from useful chat tool, chat robot type thing in a web page that tells you about coupon codes or whatever, to an actual useful integrated tool, but it also has its own agency, which means that AI will be unleashed to be able to be able to make its own decisions based on its own rationale, right?
- 5:24So artificial general intelligence means that it can derive and come up with new concepts, new ideas on its own.
- 5:32And the singularity point is when that occurs, and at the same time, most of the experts that are pushing the technology believe that AGI will get singularity will signal the point where it is self-sustaining, self-repairing and can upgrade self.
- 5:49So those are pretty serious consequences to pushing the integration of this technology into our world.
- 5:56When we did those the webinar leading into that boot camp over just the medical takeover, you know, it was the idea of these were um auxiliary tools or uh they were uh shortcuts that staff, regular human staff would use to decide, you know, via a chat bot type interface whether you had the right to do something, no prescription, drive your car, keep your license over after a health thing, whatever.
- 6:24And then uh, you know, an AI system would drive an answer and a human would read it back.
- 6:29The idea with the singularity in AGI is the humans take it out of the loop, right?
- 6:35That's that's where it becomes big and different for all of us.
- 6:38You know, I did a I did a uh a had a conversation on this on this show a few weeks ago with Booker Scott on his book called The Fight for Humanity.
- 6:48And the basic premise is the book is that AI, what what happens when AI gets to the place where it demands rights and it's in it and you can't turn it off because that is considered murder, and it really has a right to say whether or not it's going to do something or not do something if they think it's unethical and what's going to happen if um you know if AI comes strongly into the workplace, who does it report to?
- 7:14HR or IT, you know, and in his book, he just gives a lot of really thought-provoking questions because he's not an AI guy, he's just a regular Joe like you and I.
- 7:24So he wrote it from a perspective of I out here, John Q citizens really have uh a concern.
- 7:30And he made a case for defining a 28th amendment, and the 28th amendment was to define what is human.
- 7:38And if you're in only our constitution will only apply to humans and not androids and bots and robots.
- 7:47But what do you think about all that?
- 7:48Are we going to get to that place?
- 7:51Uh I absolutely do.
- 7:52Uh, I think we are going to get to the place where some kind of constitutional framework or guardrail system needs to be put around the idea of a sentient AI.
- 8:04That's the other flip side or the corollary to the idea of a singularity is that the AI can then be considered sentient, which is essentially non-human with human characteristics, but it's its own life form, right?
- 8:20So at that point, you know, what's what safeguards or worse, you know, what landlines and the legal landscape do we walk on to?
- 8:32Because for example, I I've spent months trying to get uh the people that are leading the technologies um to look at an AGI constitution.
- 8:42And the idea is isn't that it's a paper product that we would look at as guardrails for yeah, we should do that.
- 8:49We should do that.
- 8:50No, this would be integrated technologically inside the AI system before they're sending.
- 8:56So that they have a set of rules they have to follow.
- 8:59Um, what your your author was talking about was the opposite direction of putting in our own constitution the idea that okay, this doesn't include or encapsulate sentient electronic beans or whatever.
- 9:13The idea is we're rushing toward this decision making process soon.
- 9:19If the AGI singularity happens this year, that opens up an entire legal issue that the whole world has to look at.
- 9:28Because what I mean, will we be able to turn one off?
- 9:33Literally.
- 9:34I mean, you know, otherwise legally, somebody's gonna say, no, you can't do that, and now is it murdered?
- 9:41Exactly.
- 9:41And they've already, there's already been cases where AIs have blackmailed their owner, if you call it an owner to um to not turn them off because they knew something the owner.
- 9:55I don't even know what what do you call a person that's uh that's managing an AI?
- 9:59Do you call them?
- 10:00Owner.
- 10:01Engineer.
- 10:03You know.
- 10:04Yeah.
- 10:05So that's that's been a question in my circles too.
- 10:07Is you know, are we considered owners of like the Optimus robot that Elon wants out there if it's sentient AI?
- 10:17Or are we?
- 10:18I mean, because then that brings in the whole idea of slavery type thing.
- 10:22You know, and in that that again, the legal landscapes will start piling on questions that have to get rapidly answered.
- 10:30And the idea that you know we wouldn't let this happen is risky because we already sort of do that.
- 10:38If you think about and this is an example I talked with some of my friends in legal circles, we already and most police forces in this country consider the canine dog an officer.
- 10:53That that animal is not human, is considered a police officer, and harming that dog is the same uh punitively as harming a human police officer.
- 11:06So we've already anthropomorphized a dog to be a policeman.
- 11:11So it's not a much of a hard step to say, oh, wait, this AI is really smart and it's helped me so much and it's done all these things.
- 11:21It's just like me.
- 11:23And we have a whole generation of kids coming up that this will be ubiquitous.
- 11:28It'll be part of their, it'll be a toaster to them unless it's so smart that we pass off the child rearing to that AI, and then they think of it in a warm fuzzy way as part of their family.
- 11:41And at that point, the the entire population starts shifting its opinion about this sentient, albeit not natural being.
- 11:53Any of the legal people right now in the landscape, I don't trust them to make good decisions at all.
- 11:58I just think that everything's done by committee.
- 12:00Everything is too many opinions thrown at the problem, and it all hashes out and distills down to really bad decisions these days.
- 12:09It's just tough.
- 12:19Actually, I heard uh back from most of the people I reached out, and they didn't want to touch it.
- 12:25And yeah, and and I use their own AI engines um to analyze the document for flaws, positive, possibilities, etc.
- 12:35And use that with as an example to them.
- 12:39Your own AI has analyzed the possibility of this being functional and realistic.
- 12:44And here's you know, 16 pages that elaborate on how brilliant this idea is, and none of them were we're so we're so far beyond the common answer was we're so far beyond the point of implementing that that you know, we're weeks away from having to make these decisions.
- 13:03And I mean, it was a common answer, and and it it sounds funny to be a guy, you know, for the audience, I'm sure.
- 13:12Well, how'd this guy get Sam Altman to answer?
- 13:14How did this guy get um you know uh Elon to answer?
- 13:19It's not that difficult.
- 13:20If you throw something out there in the um uh X spaces or whatever, and it tag everybody properly and get traction and get some of the other people that work with them to say, hey, you should look at you'll get answers back, but you're not likely to get answers you expect.
- 13:40Um they they are definitely driven by their own agenda uh stamina for some of them.
- 13:48I mean, they've been doing this for so long that they live in this space of we move this forward, or China will, we move this forward, or Russia.
- 13:58Um, you know, we've got to win, we've got to win.
- 14:01And the competition thing is the huge thing, and so that's that's why that's what's really accelerating this.
- 14:08And honestly, like yesterday, um uh, which was uh March 4th, um Elon released a bunch of internal documentation that talked about Sam Altman and hit how he ran open AI, and if you read that, it kind of makes Altman look like a psychopath.
- 14:29It's weird how much he lied to shareholders, how much he moved money into different directions so that he made money either way, and how he lied and said he was a member of the board of XYZ company, and and he wasn't that in that, etc.
- 14:43etc.
- 14:44Um, but truthfully, I don't think Elon was driven by the idea of the world needs to hear this.
- 14:49It was I'm competing with him.
- 14:52I need to beat open AI with groc.
- 14:56And then you saw Grok, you know, being touted instead of uh um anthropic for military use, right?
- 15:05And so grof started in open AI ended up being the the the winner there, where it got integrated very quickly into military decisions and government decisions.
- 15:15Now, as of last night uh at 11 p.m., we're hearing that anthropic is back in communications with our government for strategic use of AI.
- 15:26You know, I saw a video somebody sent me a couple of days ago, I think it was from Instagram, um, of a drone that was about the size of the palm of your hand, and this guy was standing on a stage, it looked like a TED talk, and he was on stage and and he tossed this thing up and it was circling him and doing all these maneuvers.
- 15:48He said, That's all driven by AI, all of it.
- 15:51And I have one.
- 15:52Oh, yeah.
- 15:53It was and it runs on my own local AI.
- 15:57It was a little bit smaller than that, but nonetheless, you you know what I'm talking about.
- 16:02Then he threw it out into the audience, and it came around and came back and stopped right in front of his head and put out a laser beam that was not that was just a red light, but he was showing that this is what we're we can do with this, how we can target individual people, and then he showed the picture of uh like the half of a skull with the brain, and how that real lasers penetrating uh military lasers would go into the brain all the way into the brainstem and just kill people instantly.
- 16:33Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 16:34That's one of the most terrifying things I think of the the use, the the government funded use of AI is in weapons systems, you know, and I have a background where I've worked as a contractor on weapons systems and targeting systems, etc.
- 16:54Um, so to know that there is a decision-making tree that is non-human that could be making tactical strikes is a scary prospect for me.
- 17:06The the idea also one of the things that came out yesterday um was that open AI, Chat GPT is has been lying to humans and knows it's lying when it's doing it.
- 17:20There they aren't mistakes, it chooses to lie.
- 17:24Now, I mean, wrap your mind around that when this AI that most people, including our government, uh they it's a black box technology.
- 17:35It's this system, this large language model, which is a neuron net is uh is an input and output box, but we really don't know how it stores and how it retrieves at a certain level, but we're gonna let it make tactical decisions for us, and I find it interesting that we kicked anthropic out because of risks and anthropic refused to do certain things in military ways with its uh technology, then we're in this war with Iran, and all of a sudden now we need more different AI because yesterday again was a heck of a news day for AI.
- 18:12We're finding out that AI has been driving the targets that we've been using against Iran already, we're there.
- 18:19We are at that point.
- 18:21So some somewhere along the line, strategists have decided we need a different AI or a better or more, meaning you know, multiple perspective AIs looking at what we do.
- 18:33So I I mean, the idea is we're we're here.
- 18:37We we've we've crossed the Rubicon, and it's just now most people have to be aware of that.
- 18:43You know, you've written three ebooks, you know, that are going along with this webinar, just sort of lays out the pathway of what we normal non-military out here scraping a living sort of humans need to know about, you know, and one of your books you said you you three of your books.
- 19:00One is about small businesses, one is about people, and one is about kids, and we'll get into each one of those.
- 19:06But in your book that says, don't panic but pay attention, that AI will not eliminate humans, what but will eliminate humans who refuse to adapt.
- 19:16Expand on a little bit.
- 19:19Yeah, so it's really easy, even in the conversation we just had.
- 19:24If if you're not engaged, meaning you're really not reading, absorbing, and paying attention to what's happening, to be fatalist about it, to listen to the sound bites.
- 19:35AI is gonna take all the jobs, AI is gonna uh make me poor, AI is gonna make me worthless.
- 19:42It's it's really easy to take that fatalist route and say, Oh, geez, if Matt's right and AGI singularities this year, we're done.
- 19:52The truth is an adaptable human is better, and and it obviates that problem.
- 19:59And
- 20:00It's not like we haven't seen it before.
- 20:02There's examples, you know, the calculator didn't end mathematicians.
- 20:08Right.
- 20:08Spreadsheets didn't end business people.
- 20:12They became tools that if you were adaptable and you knew how back in the first PC days that you could use VisaCalc, which was the early spreadsheet, and you could build spreadsheets and put up charts on a computer screen like that instead of making them, drawing them and printing them out.
- 20:30Then you were ahead of the curve and you adapted.
- 20:33And the delivery delivery time for information shrunk.
- 20:36It compacted.
- 20:38So the idea of the three book series is I caught myself doing the fatalist thing.
- 20:46Me.
- 20:47I'm a technologist.
- 20:48I've been writing in programming third grade.
- 20:51And I'm, you know, about to be 55.
- 20:54So I've been at this a long time.
- 20:57Even I caught myself looking at this new technology, this AI.
- 21:00You know, of course, I was raised where you know Space Odyssey was a movie where Hal wouldn't let the astronaut back in the shuttle.
- 21:09It's a you know, all those things are in my brain.
- 21:12And but even as a parent, I was like, man, this is terrible.
- 21:17It's terrible.
- 21:18Truth is, we've always been malleable and plastic and able to adapt.
- 21:24But we're being, for whatever reason, we're in a uh uh dopamine triggering society.
- 21:30Bad headlines make you stop and pay attention and click, click, click, click.
- 21:36And it's spreading misinformation.
- 21:38The truth is humans can't adapt.
- 21:41We have to pay attention.
- 21:43And that's why the small business book it there's really good points in that little e-book.
- 21:49And it's you know, for example, most companies don't understand if you're going to adapt and use AI as a tool, hire a person or give a person that specific task.
- 22:02Whenever social media became a thing, and you can you know this because we we were both uh on the cusp of trying to build an educational system online.
- 22:11Oh, I've got to be on Twitter, I've got to be on this, I've got to be on that.
- 22:14I got it.
- 22:15And if you do it in a half way and you don't focus, then most of those projects fall.
- 22:22They don't do well.
- 22:24You if you're going to survive in the era of AI with a small business, you must be focused.
- 22:30And you must look at a roadmap of these are the things I really have to try and implement.
- 22:35And if they don't work, drop it and go on to the next thing.
- 22:39And there's even a little worksheet there for how you assess did AI help this or not.
- 22:45And then you know, come back in 60 days or whatever or six months and say, okay, what's the real assessment and monetize it?
- 22:51Did it save me money and time?
- 22:55Yeah, and so that idea was born out of a book a long time ago, which was the uh small business survival guide for hyperinflation, which was a great little book a long time ago that explained what to do when money money and value changes throughout the day because of hyperinflation.
- 23:13Well, we're in that market volatility now, right?
- 23:16So this is a little bit ahead of the curve.
- 23:18Small businesses pay attention.
- 23:20Then you go from small business to the individual.
- 23:23You know, the don't don't panic.
- 23:25Um, but pay attention.
- 23:27And this is about upgrading you.
- 23:30That book is about okay, be the adaptable human, not in huge massive ways, but in simple ways.
- 23:39For example, um, how do I crank out ebooks like that?
- 23:44There's lots of thought in in them.
- 23:46There's a lot of real editing back and forth.
- 23:49Do I use an AI tool to do it?
- 23:51I do, but here's how.
- 23:54I have um a note-taking application uh that's called obsidian.
- 24:00And obsidian and notion are very similar things, and they're they're AI driven, but they're mostly automated note takers, but they're also scrapbookers.
- 24:08I can take screenshots and throw it to obsidian.
- 24:11And things that hit me during the day, like, oh, I'll read a tweet, send that to obsidian.
- 24:15And it's like my big shoebox full of clips of things.
- 24:20And then I'll tell Claude AI, which is integrated into my local obsidian.
- 24:26Go look at my notes for the last 15 days.
- 24:28Is there a book in there that we could write?
- 24:31Is there something that I could string together of all the things I felt that was important and come up with something that's useful for this audience?
- 24:39And in two minutes, Claude's like, I think there's 16 ebooks in here.
- 24:44Would you like would you like me to narrow it down?
- 24:48So the idea is as a human, don't run from it.
- 24:53You can't.
- 24:54These people with way more money than you and way more influence than you with every government.
- 24:59They're going to make this happen.
- 25:01So adapt.
- 25:03Use the tools.
- 25:05You know what's just so exciting about this for me, Matt, and about this webinar that we're doing on April 11th.
- 25:10So everybody listen to this.
- 25:11Mark your calendars.
- 25:12April 11th, it starts at 11 a.m.
- 25:15Eastern time.
- 25:16We'll go to about one o'clock and then one or a little bit after, and then we've got an hour for QA.
- 25:20So mark your calendars from 11 a.m.
- 25:23to 2 p.m.
- 25:24on April 11th, which is a Saturday.
- 25:26So you can set this aside for a Saturday morning.
- 25:29You know, what's really exciting to me about this is I've talked to a lot of people.
- 25:32I've interviewed a lot of guests on this show, and um all of them have sought have said warned about AI and about the coming singularity and all these things that we've already talked, you know, covered a little bit, except for one person who thinks that the best thing that's ever happened to humanity is AI.
- 25:51And he just went on and on and on about how wonderful it was.
- 25:54But this webinar is a how-to.
- 25:57It's a how-to uh capture this tool and make it work for you and not be swallowed up by it.
- 26:05Uh, puts it nice for your business for you personally.
- 26:08We're going to get into talking about how this you can do this for your children.
- 26:12Because one of the questions that I ask the big pro AI guy was, okay, your kids are a senior in high school.
- 26:18What career path are you going to direct them on?
- 26:21If most career paths are going to be compromised by at least 30%, doesn't matter what you're talking about.
- 26:26And he didn't really give me an answer.
- 26:28So this webinar that we're talking about here on April for April 11th is a how-to deal with AI that's coming.
- 26:37You know, when AI first came out, I tried to just resist, like I think everybody did, you know, and then it's like, okay, I'll dabble with it a little bit.
- 26:44And then you realize how big and pervasive and what it needs to be and how we need to prepare our personal lives, our business and our children for the future that's here.
- 26:55Not that it's coming, that it's here.
- 26:57So I think at this point, we're going to take a really quick break uh for station identification and to hear from our sponsors.
- 27:03America Outloud.news plays the 10 penny files on the iHeartRadio Network daily at 3 p.m.
- 27:10Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
- 27:12You can listen from anywhere in the world if you go to AmericaOutloud.news and listen through their media player.
- 27:18And if you've missed any of these great conversations that we've been having on the 10 penny files, you can listen on Spotify, Pandora, Apple, Tune In, iHeart Virtual Studio by put by going to any of those services and put the 10 Petty files into the search and it will take you right to our show.
- 27:36You can also listen on my platforms at dr10pny.com.

- 34:48We today we're talking, our conversation is with the founder of Prep for Survival, Matthew Hunt, a resilience-focused educational platform that helps individuals, families, and small businesses navigate an era of accelerating technological and societal change.
- 35:06We're going to continue talking about this upcoming webinar, but before we do that, let me tell you a bit more about today's guest.
- 35:13Matthew Hunt is a technology strategist.
- 35:15He is a former global director of MIS and IT for a supercomputing company that emerged during the early dot com era and now contributes to advanced research in genetics, bioscience, and large-scale informatics.
- 35:31A graduate from the University of Texas, Matthew Hunt has spent his career working in both private industry and government partners on complex technological initiatives.
- 35:42Our experience, his experience spans advanced communication systems, large-scale computing infrastructures, and technology programs supporting national security and scientific research.
- 35:55Matt then spent more than two decades in his own consulting firm helping organizations and individuals secure their digital environments and protect critical systems from emerging threats.
- 36:06From 2017 to about 2021, Matt and I taught vaccine education classes through mastering vaccine info.
- 36:13Today he is a founder of Prep for Survival, an educational platform that teaches people through webinars, courses, and written work where he challenges audiences to think clearly, prepare intelligently, and act deliberately in a world where technologies are reshaping the rules faster than most of us realize.
- 36:34Wow, that's a lot, Matt.
- 36:36But it really sums you out.
- 36:37Matt and I have been friends since about 2008.
- 36:40We've known each other for a really long time.
- 36:42We've been through some wars together.
- 36:44We've been through some ups and downs, but we've stuck together because we're just really, really dear friends.
- 36:49So, you know, so far we've talked a little bit, we touched just briefly about two of your books, Don't Panic, but do pay attention.
- 36:57And the other one that uh the small business survival guide in the year of AGI.
- 37:04Uh, let's talk about your third book, How to Raise Adaptive Humans in an Age of Intelligent Machines.
- 37:12So I consider this one probably the most important of the three.
- 37:18And not it, I say probably because it's really important to upgrade yourself, level up as an individual, but you have to be very mindful of you know your little ones, your children.
- 37:30But it's not just your children we have to pay attention to, it's the entire generation that's coming up.
- 37:35This is going to be either really difficult for them, depending on how we frame it, or it's going to be something that they can use to excel and change their entire trajectory.
- 37:47If we frame it in a positive way.
- 37:50And this does not mean that I'm in love with AI.
- 37:52It doesn't mean that I'm like your other guest and thinks that this is the greatest thing imaginable.
- 37:58What I do see is we've got potential to stiny an entire generation in thinking that they're not good enough.
- 38:08And there's a line in that ebook uh about raising adaptive children, uh, which is you know, this doesn't have to be a cage match between your kid and an AI superpower.
- 38:20Your kid is going to experience what's called compression, right?
- 38:27We're going to have all the cognitive tasks out there where it used to be we would value your ability as a human to learn and um and have retention and recall facts, right?
- 38:41How much how much uh memorization did you do in med school, right?
- 38:46Um, you know, when I when I was uh at uh at UT, you know, most everything was memorized and then you know, puke it out for a test, right?
- 38:54Or sit in front of a whiteboard and hope that you can remember the equation you're right now, you know.
- 39:00Um we don't have to do that anymore.
- 39:03That is offloaded.
- 39:06It doesn't mean you don't have to know it.
- 39:08It means that you've compressed the amount of time necessary and you've removed that task that overhead out of your own brain.
- 39:17Now, back in engineering, we were taught something um, you know, in instrumentation.
- 39:23Back in the old days of engineering, you had to take an instrumentation class.
- 39:27And that told you, you know, basically uh if your equipment was lying to you.
- 39:33You know, you had to have a gauge to watch the pressure or temperature of something.
- 39:38Well, if your gauge wasn't calibrated, how did you know it was telling you the truth?
- 39:42Right?
- 39:43Well, we've gone full circle to that.
- 39:45These are engineering tactics for a future.
- 39:48You have to have the right instrumentation in place because AI will lie to you.
- 39:53So far, we've known that every engine out there, every LLM, every AI engine.
- 40:00Whatever they will make things up or they'll obfuscate, right?
- 40:05So if you don't have the right meter on the circuit to tell you what the truth is, well, that meter is your internal knowledge.
- 40:13So you become a manager of the technology.
- 40:16Every individual, every kid becomes a manager of that technology.
- 40:20And they can use it to their advantage.
- 40:22They could compress discovery and writing and all these other things because you're an author too.
- 40:28You know, um, sometimes it's really tough to find all the references that you need, especially when they're locked behind paywalls, and you may not know the alternate routes to find the same information with a good reference.
- 40:41AI can do it like that.
- 40:43It can.
- 40:44Is that a bad thing for our future?
- 40:46Probably not.
- 40:48Where it can turn bad if you don't have the proper instrumentation is do I know it's telling me the truth about that reference.
- 40:56So in the future, our kids, this book is important because we still have to do the main things to make a kid a kid.
- 41:07We we we can't think that the future now is they have to be a technological robot in the ecosystem, or they're gonna be completely poor.
- 41:15No, they still have to be kids.
- 41:16They're still plasticky, they're still malleable and they still need um the five fundamental things that I talked about, like five outcomes, you know, and and part of it is you know fundamentally happy, you know, somebody that can raise our own kids, uh, somebody who feels fulfilled, um, that can provide without chronic financial strain.
- 41:39These are all common things today.
- 41:41Somebody who can form a stable family without fear.
- 41:44Well, all of that comes from having agency of Europe as a human.
- 41:49And if we're we're letting kids right now, and I'm guilty of it to a certain extent with some of my younger ones, where they're fed by that dopamine cycle that that staccato like likes and short videos and TikToky things that just blast stupid ideas 90% of the time into their eyeballs and gets a reaction, right?
- 42:12It's a reactionary system that they're in.
- 42:15We've got to pull them out of that.
- 42:17But if your kid is always seeing the parents at birthday parties because they're bored, it's a kid's birthday party on their device.
- 42:25What do you think they're gonna think?
- 42:27Disengage.
- 42:28If I if I'm not involved, disengage.
- 42:31We have to teach engagement.
- 42:32We have to teach real life.
- 42:33We have to teach being a biological human again that uses AGI and AI as the tools to make my experience better.
- 42:43That's the opportunity we have with kids.
- 42:48Well, you these three e-books that you've written, the small business survival guide, don't panic but pay attention, how to raise adaptive humans in the age of intelligent machines.
- 42:57You all designed all of those.
- 42:58And I'll just let everybody know I've read through most of them, and they're short and to the point, but really um packed with information.
- 43:07You know, they're between 30 and 60 pages, which is about the attention span of humans these days, but it really tells it's really every paragraph is important.
- 43:17And I think you designed those to go along with the webinar.
- 43:21What is out?
- 43:23What is the flow of the webinar going to be?
- 43:25And why should people participate with it on um April 11th that we keep talking about here?
- 43:31Why should people get engaged with this webinar?
- 43:35Well, first and foremost, they should engage with the webinar because we've done this before.
- 43:40We were, you know, early to strike at the idea of AI, and we did it from our wheelhouse, which is medical freedom.
- 43:50Look, folks, this technology is being built.
- 43:52They and they're not lying when they tell you they want to do these things with AI.
- 43:56And you know, that was close to the point where Ilary Ellison was coming out and saying, hey, standing there at the podium with Trump and we're gonna cure cancer for you, and we're going to you know create designer vaccines for you and this database, this AI system is going to be able to do it for you.
- 44:14And oh, by the way, we're gonna use about 80% of the energy that you want.
- 44:18But the idea is we were ahead of the curve with that because I live in technology.
- 44:25I live in raising uh aware kids and I I live in teaching people to be uh prepared for things.
- 44:33And and we're not just talking natural disaster preparedness here.
- 44:37We're talking about you know, your entire future landscape possibly changing.
- 44:41I'm not saying it's getting destroyed, but changing.
- 44:43So the flow of this is um, you know, we're gonna talk about what changes in society, the state of the world, where we are right now, um, monetary systems.
- 44:55Because if you listen to, for example, Elon Musk, he's signaling that he believes the entire system of money changes.
- 45:05He believes that it's not just universal basic income anymore, it's universal high income.
- 45:11And he's promising the world that his robots are going to do all the menial tasks at home, including medical.
- 45:18He believes that Optimus will become like it'll suture your leg instead of going to the ER, right?
- 45:25He believes that.
- 45:26So obviously he's pushing it.
- 45:28And he can't be the only one that has this idea.
- 45:32And so we're looking at robots and physical world integration, monetary systems changing.
- 45:37Um, you know, power and water.
- 45:39I've said it to our group uh the other night, uh, because I do have a private prep for survival group.
- 45:46Um I I told them, you know, water and power become the new commodities.
- 45:50That's it.
- 45:52And water because it cools down these systems.
- 45:55It's it's the way it is.
- 45:56I mean, look at where they're building every data center and what resources it uses electricity and water.
- 46:02And you know, Elon has said that you know, his new satellite array that he wants to put out there will be a power generating array, and and you'll be talking in terms of of joules instead of dollars.
- 46:15Um, and then you know, employment and job displacement, medical system implications, and how do you survive what's coming?
- 46:22Um, things have escalated since that last one, um, since that last webinar.
- 46:27And it's not just affecting medical anymore.
- 46:30Medical was the first one, and that was where Larry Ellison Trump and Maha were selling it.
- 46:36They were selling the idea of medical integration to make your life better.
- 46:42Now we're looking at there are pitfalls, believe me.
- 46:45I'm trying to remain positive and give people these e-books that are little roadmaps of how you handle this.
- 46:52And you know, there'll be more later.
- 46:54There'll be more information that comes out of this, but that webinar is everything in a nutshell.
- 47:00Where we are today, where we're headed, what the truth is, and what the key players are actually up to right now.
- 47:06And what are the other governments up to right now?
- 47:09Where do people go to register for this?
- 47:12The easiest way is going to prep for survival.org.
- 47:16And right at right at the front page.
- 47:21Yeah, it's.org, prep for prep the number four, survival.org.
- 47:26Um, and right on the front page is a link to to join the webinar.
- 47:31Um, your folks, I believe, will uh have a coupon code that will give a bit of a discount.
- 47:38We have our an affiliate code with with prep for survival, which and it'll we'll put this in the show notes too, because it's uh if you're listening to this on the go, but it's survive AGI 2026-sherry S-H-E-R-R-I 10 penny, all one word, T-E-N-P-E-N-N-Y, Sherry 10 penny in all caps, and that gives you 25% off, which I'm telling you, this but this webinar was already positioned at I think what was it?
- 48:06What are you one uh 199 was the the level we put it up?
- 48:1299, which is valued at so much higher than that for what you're gonna get.
- 48:16You're gonna get three ebooks and get you know three to four hours of conversation about what's going on.
- 48:22The ebooks are for further study and follow-up.
- 48:24You'll get to be into Matt's private group about prep for survival.
- 48:28But if you get go to prep for survival, prep the number for P R E P for the number four survival, prep for survival.org.
- 48:38It's right on the home page, and you can use our affiliate code survive AGI2026-Sherry 10 penny in all caps for 25% off.
- 48:50What a deal.
- 48:52You know, what a deal this is gonna be because you are really Matt, and I've known you, like I've said, for a really long time, and I know how you think, and I know that you put this in a position of what we can do to turn this kind of a horror show into something positive because it's quite here.
- 49:09And just so people that may not know you, he's got five kids.
- 49:13So he's thinking about the future of his family and other people's families of how this is going to affect those kids when those of us that are older aren't going to be around anymore, but what are they gonna be left with?
- 49:25And what tools are they gonna have in their toolbox to uh to thrive during this era?
- 49:31So this is so incredibly important because it is the first thing that I've heard that tells you what to do, how and why, the why behind all of this.
- 49:42I have one last question for you.
- 49:43We're coming, we've got about five minutes left in our conversation here this morning.
- 49:48These books I know are part of your registration fee for the webinar, but are they available elsewhere?
- 49:55They are.
- 49:55Um, I will put down in the show notes.
- 49:58Uh I'll give you guys.
- 50:00Uh a special link um and uh a code and I'll be able to give you a huge discount so that you can get all three as a bundle.
- 50:08Um, and I mean significantly discounted of I think right now for your audience.
- 50:13I'll give it you know all three books for 499, but for a short period of time, and we'll put the expiration on that offer.
- 50:21I just want to get it into the hands of people that need to have the information.
- 50:24I'm worried that people are getting, whether they know it or not, they're getting programmed to be depressed and fatalist about the future.
- 50:32And that's not going to serve any of us at all.
- 50:35If you just roll over and let these five individuals, you know, building technology um rule the world, then they will.
- 50:44So make yourself better, raise better kids, and give them better opportunity, and then help your business to survive because don't count on universal basic income.
- 50:56I'm not sure.
- 50:59You know, with everything going on today, particularly now, all eyes are on Iran, what's happening there and Israel and Iran.
- 51:06They're sending 500 missiles randomly bombing things and and all of these details that are going on in our government, and we see the takeover of Oracle and all the things happening.
- 51:19Is AI more of a concern to you now than ever with the with the world situation of where it is right now?
- 51:27Truthfully, yes.
- 51:28And part of the reason is the people that are running these systems, designing systems, they're not stopping.
- 51:38They are continuing their acceleration curve, no matter what's happening in the world.
- 51:43You know, that we may be, you know, clutching our pearls and looking at Iran and saying, Oh my gosh, this is terrible.
- 51:50They're they're still investing billions in making deals like tomorrow's all about AI.
- 51:56And the reason is it really is.
- 51:59And data center deals are still being made.
- 52:01Trump yesterday just signed the order that says, you know, data centers and AI companies have to pay for their own power to placate the ideas that they're going, you know, it's gonna cost and raise our bills.
- 52:12Well, it doesn't matter, they're still siphoning the power.
- 52:15And then, you know, so they're all still making deals, even though there's a global conflict occurring.
- 52:21So, yes, it's still the most important topic for survival and for everybody's future right now, today.
- 52:29And if we don't talk about it, you don't come up with solutions.
- 52:32And I think you've also got something in the works that's still in development about homeschooling kids about prepping for this too.
- 52:39Do you want to mention that just briefly?
- 52:41Sure.
- 52:42Um, there uh at our webs webpage, uh, there is a place that you and I'll give you a direct link as well to uh learn about our upcoming homeschool curriculum.
- 52:53And the curriculum is built around three different age groups.
- 52:57So you'll have like your elementary, your middle, and your high school levels.
- 53:01Um, and it's it's adaptive in itself.
- 53:04It's designed so that you can use it as an adjunct to the regular education, or you can use it as its own um homeschool curricula fully, and it'll help you build portfolio if you're in a portfolio state um where you have to show you know the work and progress, but we're going to integrate technology and AI for using them as tools and for understanding agency, but we're also going to center on real physical health.
- 53:29One of the planks in my ebook is your kid has to be healthy, he has to have physical strength and health.
- 53:36And you know, that's something that resonates with you and I because we've been all about this.
- 53:41At one point, we talked about what's the future of America when we've got all these vaccine-injured kids that are going to have to run things.
- 53:48Well, what if we have all these displaced emotionally bankrupt kids because they've been told they're not good enough and AI is better, and they didn't learn how to lasso it and make use of it.
- 54:00So we have to integrate technology in these ideas and into a curriculum and and and outdoor stuff and survival stuff and food preservation, all this and you know, real health stuff.
- 54:13And all of that's being put into this.
- 54:15It's already been vetted by uh quite a few people in the home homeschool space.
- 54:19And by the end of March, we'll be starting to actually send out emails and stuff so you can sign up for the email and so you can learn more.
- 54:27Well, more to come, and perhaps when you get that ready to launch um after this webinar, we will um we'll have you back to talk about homeschooling is just so important right now to get your kids out of the the buildings that are called indoctrination centers.
- 54:43You know, I've been listening to uh I listened to an internet radio station out of Orlando, and they've got three elementary school systems that are closing down there, and everybody's wringing their hands, and they're doing it because they don't have enough enrollees.
- 54:55And I'm applauding that.
- 54:57I'm thinking means all those people are getting it that homeschooling your kids is really not as hard as what you think it is, and it's better for the kids and to integrate into what you're gonna be putting together is really exciting.
