- 1:33Speaker 2: podcasts on the web.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yes, indeed, it is.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Quite an honor to receive that email and the badge.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So y'all over ead Spot, We truly truly appreciate that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yes indeed, and thanks for joining us again. I'm Marcus Smooth.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And my name is miss Lyric Broodo.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Hey, you ain't text me back all week? We beat you? No,
- 1:57Speaker 2: I know what's been going on, You are right, I have.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I've just been consumed with things because I haven't just
- 2:07Speaker 1: been trying to get my work done. I have like
- 2:10Speaker 1: a couple of projects due on Sunday and they're not
- 2:14Speaker 1: like small so papers and power points and all types
- 2:19Speaker 1: of stuff for school. So I've been buckling down. And
- 2:21Speaker 1: then I haven't been sleeping that well, so I've been
- 2:25Speaker 1: like going to bed at like maybe four in the morning,
- 2:28Speaker 1: waking up around eleven something. So my sleep schedules are
- 2:32Speaker 1: thrown off all. Hopefully it's a brand new week, get
- 2:37Speaker 1: it too.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It is. I've always hated that about school though. It's
- 2:41Speaker 2: like when you get breaks spring break and winter break
- 2:46Speaker 2: or whatever, they always come back and load more work
- 2:49Speaker 2: on you. It's like, well, we needed a break because
- 2:53Speaker 2: we were overwhelmed. That don't need In the first week back,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you overwhelm me again.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Oh. They did not play around, and they was like
- 3:00Speaker 1: take this, this, this, this, and hold this while you're
- 3:04Speaker 1: at it. And I'm like, oh my gosh, this is crazy.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And this is a two course month to you. So
- 3:10Speaker 1: since it is a curriculum that's faster than a normal one,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you get bombarded like, oh my gosh, this is so much.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But I'm hanging on in there.
- 3:26Speaker 2: So I'm glad you got the resilience.
- 3:28Speaker 4: I'm so proud of you.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Thank you absolutely.
- 3:31Speaker 1: What about you? What's your week been? Like, My mood
- 3:34Speaker 1: has been chaotic.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Well, it's been so much going on this week, like
- 3:42Speaker 2: a whole lot to cram in less than a two
- 3:45Speaker 2: hour show. We'll try. I guess I would say I'm
- 3:48Speaker 2: in a decent mood. I was gonna say nice things
- 3:51Speaker 2: about the lights that I keep seeing stepping up to
- 3:54Speaker 2: the plate to defend democracy and check their friends and relatives.
- 3:58Speaker 2: But you know, every single time you say kind things
- 4:00Speaker 2: about white people or shit niggas for that matter, they
- 4:03Speaker 2: will turn around and double down on something extremely ridiculous.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So I'm just gonna say, hey, thanks, we see you,
- 4:09Speaker 2: We appreciate you. Keep doing what you do.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the rest of y'all away.
- 4:16Speaker 2: What do you want to be like when you grow up? Mama?
- 4:19Speaker 1: This twelve year old girl, pinola sha coombe. I hope
- 4:26Speaker 1: that I said that right?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Oh, how do you spell me? That sounds so fun?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Sho coombe skhokunbi.
- 4:34Speaker 2: That is how you say it?
- 4:35Speaker 1: All right, awesome, yay, all right. She out here solving
- 4:42Speaker 1: real world issues. She's in fifth grade at Commodore mcdoe
- 4:48Speaker 1: Stem Academy in Connecticut, where she was given a class
- 4:52Speaker 1: project to find a solution for future pandemics in school.
- 4:56Speaker 1: We're inspired by air quality issues exposed during COVID. She
- 5:00Speaker 1: built an air filter with just sixty dollars worth of
- 5:04Speaker 1: basic material a box, van, furnace filters, duct tape, and cardboard.
- 5:10Speaker 1: The results shocking. Her foot removed over at ninety nine
- 5:16Speaker 1: percent of airborne viruses.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I bet you it did, because y'all nasty. Wow.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He a confirmed it at safe, low costs and a
- 5:26Speaker 1: great solution. That is the Connecticut State Bond Commission approved
- 5:31Speaker 1: an eleven point five million dollars to bring her filters
- 5:35Speaker 1: to schools across the state under Yukon's safet CT program,
- 5:41Speaker 1: which focuses on improving air quality in classrooms. Twelve years old.
- 5:48Speaker 2: What can you say about these kids? Man? That is
- 5:51Speaker 2: incredible And to come out with something that is just
- 5:55Speaker 2: it's gonna be used like these babies out here doing
- 5:59Speaker 2: the apps. Wow. All right, Well I don't I'm not
- 6:04Speaker 2: talking about children this week. But when I grow up,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I want to be like Anne Colin Smith, who has
- 6:10Speaker 2: ushered quite a remarkable change at the New Orleans Museum
- 6:14Speaker 2: of Art or NOMA. Okay, she's been appointed as the
- 6:19Speaker 2: museum's first black Chief aid Curator so announced in March
- 6:24Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. Her role at marks a significant milestone
- 6:27Speaker 2: in the museum's history, where she'll lead the institution's curatorial department.
- 6:32Speaker 2: She'll be overseeing collections and exhibits that blend modern and
- 6:36Speaker 2: contemporary art with a focus on African American artistry. So
- 6:40Speaker 2: I think this is a particularly awesome thing considering the
- 6:43Speaker 2: overwhelming attempted ignorance and erasure of Black history by the
- 6:48Speaker 2: Trump administration. Seeing a piece of it resting in the
- 6:51Speaker 2: hands of this incredible black woman gives me the warm
- 6:54Speaker 2: and fuzzies, you know what I'm saying.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Well, nearly two decades of experience, including her previous position
- 7:01Speaker 2: as director of the Xavier University of Louisiana Art Gallery
- 7:06Speaker 2: and a long tenure at the Spelman College Museum of
- 7:09Speaker 2: Fine Art, smith is poised and let's see, she's supposed
- 7:14Speaker 2: to advance noma's mission to enrich its offerings. So according
- 7:18Speaker 2: to because of them we can and essences in essence,
- 7:22Speaker 2: she envisions her appointment as a chance to foster community
- 7:26Speaker 2: engagement and curatorial excellence work, while her ambitious plans include
- 7:32Speaker 2: reinstallation of parts of the permanent collection and retrospectives of
- 7:37Speaker 2: prominent artists. So I was listening to Joanne Reid's new
- 7:42Speaker 2: podcast that she does with her sister, and they were
- 7:45Speaker 2: having a conversation with someone from the Smithsonian. I can't
- 7:50Speaker 2: remember who the lady was, but basically what they're saying
- 7:53Speaker 2: is that they're taking pieces of our history, you know,
- 7:56Speaker 2: some of the more important parts, and they're talking about
- 8:00Speaker 2: having you know, people hate to store them elsewhere because
- 8:05Speaker 2: it's not safe. That the museums right now with what
- 8:07Speaker 2: the Trump administration is doing.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, so that's wild, But I'm not surprised though.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I figured something like that was gonna happen. He wants
- 8:18Speaker 1: to remove everything. You hear what they did, what I
- 8:24Speaker 1: read they removed Harriet Tubmant from yeah website.
- 8:28Speaker 2: But then they put that shit right back because everybody
- 8:32Speaker 2: was like, what are y'all doing?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Just the simple fact that y'all removed it, Like, it's
- 8:38Speaker 1: very telling to what's coming.
- 8:40Speaker 4: It's really telling to what always has been.
- 8:43Speaker 2: We keep shouting and y'all keep trying to sweep underneath
- 8:46Speaker 2: the rug. Except for now, in twenty twenty five, nobody's
- 8:49Speaker 2: playing that game anymore. Which okay, I'm fine with it
- 8:52Speaker 2: because now we can get down to the nitty gritty.
- 8:54Speaker 2: That's how I feel, how you feel about shit if
- 8:57Speaker 2: it were there, because up next you.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Ready praying, helping, singing spirituals. That's what they want us
- 9:04Speaker 5: to believe about all the people that were enslaved in
- 9:06Speaker 5: this country. But what they didn't tell you about is
- 9:08Speaker 5: that the people on the creole had a different idea.
- 9:11Speaker 5: They didn't wait for their freedom, They took it. Eighteen
- 9:15Speaker 5: forty one. The US ship Creole is hauling one hundred
- 9:18Speaker 5: and thirty five enslaved black people from Virginia down to
- 9:21Speaker 5: New Orleans because apparently trafficking human beings was just business
- 9:24Speaker 5: as normal. But the people chained below the deck. Oh,
- 9:28Speaker 5: they had other plans, led by Madison Washington, a man
- 9:30Speaker 5: who had already escaped once but got dragged back because
- 9:33Speaker 5: he tried to rescue his wife. They decided that this
- 9:36Speaker 5: was not going to be another quiet trip to the
- 9:39Speaker 5: auction block. They rose up, They took the ship, overpowered
- 9:43Speaker 5: the crew unlived one of the enslavers trying to fight
- 9:46Speaker 5: back and told the captain exactly where they were going next,
- 9:50Speaker 5: the Bahamas, because why settle for survival when you can
- 9:53Speaker 5: aim for freedom? And when they rolled up, the British
- 9:56Speaker 5: official said, oh, you're in the Bahamas now. Slavery is illegal,
- 10:00Speaker 5: so you're free. No debates, no begging, no papers. Free.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Of the one hundred and thirty five black men, women
- 10:07Speaker 5: and children on that ship, one hundred and twenty eight
- 10:10Speaker 5: walked into a future that America scored they would never see,
- 10:13Speaker 5: and the US government they lost it. They tried to
- 10:16Speaker 5: demand their property back the British basically said, you mean boo, yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 5: no funny. How fast property gets redefined when you don't
- 10:25Speaker 5: control the land. The Creole World ended up being the
- 10:28Speaker 5: most successful slaver role in US history. No asterisks, no
- 10:32Speaker 5: fine print success. The Creole story is not about patients.
- 10:36Speaker 5: It's not about waiting for somebody's signature on a piece
- 10:38Speaker 5: of paper. It's about kicking the door off the hinges
- 10:41Speaker 5: and daring the world to stop you. So the next
- 10:43Speaker 5: time somebody tries to tell you that enslaved people just
- 10:46Speaker 5: accepted their conditions, just smile and remember some of us
- 10:49Speaker 5: were busy steering ships straight into freedom.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Maybe not what you should, but evidently she would if
- 10:58Speaker 3: you weren't wreck Hello.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, it's sugar, miss Eric, and I am back
- 11:03Speaker 1: with my segment if it were lyric, where I discussed
- 11:05Speaker 1: your relationship, friendships, situationships and everything in between. And I
- 11:12Speaker 1: give my two cents about it. If you guys want
- 11:14Speaker 1: to continue sending me your stories, please send them to
- 11:17Speaker 1: my Gmail at Lyricpravado at gmail dot com. I no
- 11:19Speaker 1: longer take them, and my dms I've still been receiving some.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Please don't send them, I will not read them. Direct
- 11:26Speaker 1: them to Lyricpravado at gmail dot com. Thank you so much.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Now let's get started, shall we?
- 11:32Speaker 2: We shall?
- 11:33Speaker 1: All right? This first one is from Katie. Katie says, hey, Leric,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I need some help. I've been with my partner for
- 11:43Speaker 1: two years.
- 11:44Speaker 2: YE need help.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Now I'm putting and instead it happened. That's been weighing
- 11:48Speaker 1: heavily on me. I accidentally tripped and dropped our massage
- 11:53Speaker 1: gun on him while he was half asleep. Earlier that night,
- 11:57Speaker 1: we had an argument about where the baby would sleep,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and tensions were already high when the massage gun fell
- 12:05Speaker 1: on him. He accused me of throwing it intentionally out
- 12:08Speaker 1: of frustration. I said, yeah, I wish I really had
- 12:11Speaker 1: thrown it at you, and repeated it twice. He asked
- 12:14Speaker 1: me to repeat what I said, but I remained silent.
- 12:18Speaker 1: After asking me again, without getting a response, he seemed
- 12:21Speaker 1: to lose control, got up, and to my shock, hit me.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Later he said he heard me say I wished he
- 12:29Speaker 1: would die, which I never said. I made it clear
- 12:32Speaker 1: to him that wasn't what I said, and he was
- 12:34Speaker 1: visibly shocked by his own actions and has since apologized.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I know that his reason is not an excuse but
- 12:41Speaker 1: I am torn because part of me wants to leave him.
- 12:43Speaker 2: But I'm also.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Thinking, because we have a child, is it bad for
- 12:47Speaker 1: me to reconsider what would I do? Should I leave
- 12:51Speaker 1: or should I stay? A girl, if you don't run
- 12:52Speaker 1: for the hills, anybody who's that comfortable putting their hands
- 12:57Speaker 1: on you is going to do it again. Is not
- 13:00Speaker 1: know how to communicate. He has no conflict resolution. Obviously,
- 13:06Speaker 1: if the first thing he thought to do was put
- 13:08Speaker 1: his hands on you, now you would think, okay, that
- 13:11Speaker 1: is not okay. Run for the hills, Take your baby
- 13:14Speaker 1: and learn how to co parent, because this right here
- 13:18Speaker 1: is going to be the beginning of a toxic physical,
- 13:24Speaker 1: emotional relationship, and you do not want to put yourself
- 13:28Speaker 1: on that pathway red flag, it has presented itself to you.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Definitely take your baby and break up with him and
- 13:40Speaker 1: co parent. It does now.
- 13:42Speaker 2: It's a shame that mothers have to make these types
- 13:45Speaker 2: of decisions and still get the vitriol from the rest
- 13:49Speaker 2: of us about just being women. It's just just looking
- 13:53Speaker 2: at this situation she's faced with, Oh, well, maybe I
- 13:56Speaker 2: should stay because my baby needs a father. First off,
- 13:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna need you to think why with your baby
- 14:01Speaker 2: needs someone who is clearly abusive around them. Take, like
- 14:05Speaker 2: Lyrics said, take that baby and get that baby as
- 14:08Speaker 2: far away from this nigga as you can, because oh
- 14:12Speaker 2: my god, abuse shit that that. I don't like it.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I hate it.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's just to say he once the baby gets a
- 14:19Speaker 1: little older and he falls or does something and he
- 14:23Speaker 1: goes and tries to hit the fucking baby, like no,
- 14:26Speaker 1: then you're gonna have to like, Yeah.
- 14:30Speaker 4: This trauma they gotta unpack.
- 14:32Speaker 2: See. That's why again mothers get a reputation because then
- 14:35Speaker 2: they have to take their babies out of these horrible
- 14:40Speaker 2: That's why people have more respect for their mothers than
- 14:42Speaker 2: they do their fathers. In my humble opinion, that's it.
- 14:47Speaker 1: That's that is when I have to say, definitely plans
- 14:51Speaker 1: to find other alternatives in places that you feel safe
- 14:56Speaker 1: in because this is no longer a safe space for
- 14:59Speaker 1: you or your and he made it that way. So
- 15:02Speaker 1: if he has anything to say about it, he can.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He only has himself to blame because he had no
- 15:07Speaker 1: business putting his filthy, fucking hands on you.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Period. Call the cops. Okay, this one a little bit
- 15:16Speaker 2: more lighthearted. It says sup Lyric I've been listening to
- 15:20Speaker 2: some of the older episodes and some of your letters
- 15:23Speaker 2: can be a bit heavy, so I'm going to keep
- 15:24Speaker 2: mine a little light hearted.
- 15:26Speaker 1: That's not my fault.
- 15:28Speaker 2: That was like right on time. I do actually need
- 15:32Speaker 2: advice because I've heard this from at least three other
- 15:35Speaker 2: bitches and want to know what your take is on it.
- 15:40Speaker 2: After my husband passed about three years ago, I had
- 15:42Speaker 2: stopped dealing with men on a dating level altogether, but
- 15:46Speaker 2: through therapy and a solid circle of friends, I was
- 15:49Speaker 2: able to get back into the mix recently. But during
- 15:52Speaker 2: girl talk with my squad, something came up. One of
- 15:55Speaker 2: my friends started talking about how I need to make
- 15:58Speaker 2: sure the man I'm dealing isn't on the downlow, and
- 16:02Speaker 2: I've never had to deal with these types of words before.
- 16:05Speaker 2: They each had some pretty extreme short stories to share
- 16:08Speaker 2: with me about men they've previously dealt with, and one
- 16:11Speaker 2: of them went as far as to tell me that
- 16:14Speaker 2: it's easy to tell if a man is on the downlow.
- 16:17Speaker 2: This is where it gets funny to me, but they
- 16:19Speaker 2: were dead ass serious. They said a good way to
- 16:22Speaker 2: test a man is to give him head and slowly
- 16:25Speaker 2: work your way down between his legs, They said, keep
- 16:28Speaker 2: getting closer to his ass, and if he toots it
- 16:31Speaker 2: out or acts like he wants you to lick his ass,
- 16:34Speaker 2: that's a good sidey baby on the tawllow. Oh my god,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I wasn't more yesterday. I wasn't more yesterday. So I
- 16:42Speaker 2: know that some men like it, some men don't. But
- 16:46Speaker 2: they insisted that this is the best way to tell.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna let them listen to your response the next
- 16:52Speaker 2: time we kick it so we can all have a
- 16:55Speaker 2: good laugh. But you all are real talk radio, so
- 16:58Speaker 2: I know you will keep it real. If it were you,
- 17:01Speaker 2: would you take this as a red flag? Or are
- 17:03Speaker 2: there other ways to tell? You both bring me joy?
- 17:06Speaker 2: So please keep up the good work with love. Licked Linda.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Licked Linda is wild. Okay, it's wild, diabolical even for
- 17:17Speaker 1: your girlfriends even suggest that. First of all, people have
- 17:22Speaker 1: their own fetishes and like in the bedroom. Just because
- 17:31Speaker 1: somebody likes to get their butthole with it does not
- 17:33Speaker 1: mean that there are a dl individual. The easiest way
- 17:39Speaker 1: to know is to just ask. They might lie because
- 17:43Speaker 1: some people are embarrassed or some people don't want to,
- 17:48Speaker 1: you know, want to be judged. For the way that
- 17:53Speaker 1: they feel. And I would just ask there's no real
- 17:58Speaker 1: first of all, if you feel real freak and it
- 18:02Speaker 1: sounds like you are because you signed your name lickt
- 18:06Speaker 1: Linda work right. There are pornos right, oh ye? Are
- 18:11Speaker 1: Some men even like to be pegged, but by women.
- 18:15Speaker 1: That doesn't mean that they're gay. It just means that
- 18:18Speaker 1: that's something that they're interested in and.
- 18:20Speaker 2: They like it's not wrong. You know what's gay when
- 18:24Speaker 2: you do it with another man. You know what's gay
- 18:27Speaker 2: when you love another man. You know what's gay When
- 18:30Speaker 2: I lick another man's ass. That's gay.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Some of y'all really gotta understand, like, just because some
- 18:37Speaker 1: of you do a sexual act does not mean that
- 18:40Speaker 1: you are like considered a certain you're labeled a certain way,
- 18:44Speaker 1: like grow up like it is twenty twenty five. Honestly,
- 18:49Speaker 1: that has been I blame trick Daddy. I blame trick
- 18:53Speaker 1: Daddy for real, because he the one who popped this
- 18:55Speaker 1: shit off during the pandemic quarantine getting on live talking
- 19:01Speaker 1: about something I like to get my ass.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It wasn't him or was it Tank.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Because trick Daddy said it first, but then.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Fifty too because Vivica was in un cheeks. Damn everybody
- 19:12Speaker 2: out here looking ass.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So yeah, work, he made it. He made it like
- 19:17Speaker 1: a thing where where more and more celebrities were saying, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: I like to get my ass like it was a
- 19:22Speaker 1: whole ordeal. It was hilarious because he was making like
- 19:25Speaker 1: content videos and stuff talking about it, and he even
- 19:28Speaker 1: if you go on YouTube, he has like a cooking
- 19:31Speaker 1: show where he invites other celebrities on there and he
- 19:34Speaker 1: sometimes talks about it depending on who comes. So it's
- 19:38Speaker 1: it's pretty funny. But now, girl, that's not a way
- 19:41Speaker 1: to tell. The easiest way to tell is just acts,
- 19:44Speaker 1: like have adult conversation and be like, oh, have you
- 19:47Speaker 1: ever had experiences with the same sex?
- 19:50Speaker 2: This?
- 19:50Speaker 1: That, and the third? Like, there's nothing wrong with that
- 19:52Speaker 1: being open and honest. I'm not Now that don't mean
- 19:56Speaker 1: you're gonna get that true. Sure, let's let's be real here.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Regardless if you get the truth or not. Everybody needs
- 20:05Speaker 1: to protect themselves right. Stop freely giving up your body
- 20:09Speaker 1: and having these exchanges with any and everybody because you
- 20:14Speaker 1: don't know what people's sexual history is until they tell you,
- 20:18Speaker 1: so protect yourself. Have fun. Stop thinking too hard about
- 20:22Speaker 1: it and tell your girlfriends know that it's not an
- 20:24Speaker 1: easy way to town.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Linda. Lay that man down on the bed, pull them
- 20:30Speaker 2: to the edge, throw them legs up, and go to town. Mama.
- 20:35Speaker 2: If that's what you want to do, make sure he
- 20:38Speaker 2: washed though, because some of y'all be getting surprises. If
- 20:41Speaker 2: your friend's circle is doing that ship, I wonder how
- 20:44Speaker 2: many of them got a face full of button balls,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you know, a dingle Berry's surprise.
- 20:56Speaker 1: That's all I got to say about that. Y'all engrossed
- 20:58Speaker 1: me out for enough. I'll see it. Talk to y'all
- 21:05Speaker 1: next week. I'm bye.
- 21:07Speaker 2: All right, let's stroll this timeline. Oh it's been incredible
- 21:12Speaker 2: two weeks.
- 21:15Speaker 6: For all my people who've been following the Sanders stories.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Listen to me. You didn't just watch a draft.
- 21:19Speaker 7: You witness a lesson in how control disguises itself as evaluation.
- 21:25Speaker 7: And follow me, because in America, talent isn't threatening. Independent
- 21:30Speaker 7: minds are because they love black excellence as long as
- 21:34Speaker 7: they can coach it, as long as they can contain it,
- 21:36Speaker 7: and as long as they can cash out on it.
- 21:39Speaker 7: They celebrate the gifted, but fear the ones who know
- 21:42Speaker 7: they're gifted. Without needing validation. That's the difference. Because y'all
- 21:46Speaker 7: remember when Archie Many said terms for his songs, they
- 21:49Speaker 7: actually called that strategic parenting, right, But when Deon Sanders
- 21:53Speaker 7: does the same thing for his sons.
- 21:54Speaker 6: It's called over bear rink.
- 21:57Speaker 7: Matter of fact, when Peyon Manning show swagger, it was
- 21:59Speaker 7: leader material, but when Sadr Sanders shows composion confidence, it's cockiness.
- 22:05Speaker 8: Right.
- 22:06Speaker 6: See, the rules never change, only the faces did.
- 22:10Speaker 2: But here's the.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Part they don't want to say aloud.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Because America loves black success as long as it looks
- 22:15Speaker 7: like survival, not strength, as long as it stays humble,
- 22:19Speaker 7: not heavy, as long as it acts for a seat,
- 22:22Speaker 7: not build its own table. Because they're not afraid of
- 22:26Speaker 7: your talent, they're afraid of your awareness.
- 22:29Speaker 6: Remember this.
- 22:30Speaker 7: They love black talent when it sings, they love it
- 22:33Speaker 7: when it dance, They love it when it entertains quiety.
- 22:36Speaker 7: But let it think, let it build or walk in
- 22:38Speaker 7: unapologetic confidence, and suddenly is labeled cocky, difficult or risk
- 22:46Speaker 7: because the real threat or the real risk is in
- 22:49Speaker 7: what you can do.
- 22:51Speaker 6: It's what you know. You see, they didn't even pa
- 22:54Speaker 6: we thinking about this.
- 22:55Speaker 7: They didn't pass on Shadur Sanders because he wasn't good enough.
- 22:59Speaker 7: But they pass on him because he wasn't dependent enough. See,
- 23:03Speaker 7: he came into their room already crowned, and they didn't
- 23:06Speaker 7: know how to handle a king who didn't ask for
- 23:09Speaker 7: their permission.
- 23:10Speaker 6: So let's be clear. Let's be clear.
- 23:12Speaker 7: They're always draft submission faster than sovereignty. They always promote
- 23:16Speaker 7: what they can manage and blacklist what they can control. See,
- 23:21Speaker 7: survival stories make them feel charitable. Dynasty stories make them
- 23:25Speaker 7: feel irrelevant.
- 23:27Speaker 6: And that's the issue.
- 23:28Speaker 7: But here's the wisdom, because something I learned from all this, Right, See,
- 23:32Speaker 7: when you stop auditioning for broken systems, you start threatening them.
- 23:37Speaker 7: When you walk like you're already chosen, you irritate every
- 23:40Speaker 7: room that thought you needed their approval.
- 23:42Speaker 6: So let them pass, let them label, let them lie.
- 23:46Speaker 6: Shuder doesn't need their draft board.
- 23:49Speaker 7: He's already on board, and sooner or later they'll have
- 23:52Speaker 7: to play on his field, not the other way around.
- 23:54Speaker 6: I'm telling y'all what I know. See, you can't blacklist
- 23:57Speaker 6: to chosen. I mean that's just truth. This facts.
- 24:01Speaker 7: You can only delay your own access to it. So
- 24:04Speaker 7: the more of the story. When doors close on kings.
- 24:08Speaker 7: Dynasties are born in fields. They forget de fence off.
- 24:14Speaker 2: All right, niggis were black and it's time to get
- 24:17Speaker 2: in this time line, Miss Lyric, you are a first.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's talk about what's going on with Trump
- 24:25Speaker 1: and ease terraffs, Walmart, Walmart, Target, and Home.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Depot a Trump.
- 24:34Speaker 1: That tariffs could lead to empty shelves. Oh all these
- 24:40Speaker 1: have previously cautioned that terroriffs could result in higher prices.
- 24:45Speaker 1: After Trump's election, Walmart CFO John David Rainey acknowledged that
- 24:52Speaker 1: there would be a likelihood of price increases due to tariffs.
- 24:56Speaker 1: More recently, Target CEO Brian Cornell highlighted that tariffs on
- 25:01Speaker 1: Mexican imports would likely drive up prices, particularly for produce
- 25:07Speaker 1: during the winter months.
- 25:08Speaker 2: You know what, I'm sorry, go ahead, No, I was
- 25:13Speaker 2: gonna say Target CEO he needs his whole entire face
- 25:16Speaker 2: slap because did he do this before or after he
- 25:19Speaker 2: met with Al Sharpton and was like, oh, please send
- 25:21Speaker 2: the niggas back, Like, come on, you'll ever sponsor that
- 25:24Speaker 2: you've had as of late has been a responsive How
- 25:28Speaker 2: about we be proactive about that.
- 25:37Speaker 1: The Trump administration has implemented one hundred and forty five
- 25:40Speaker 1: percent tariffs on Chinese goods and ten percent tariffs on
- 25:44Speaker 1: most other countries, and President Trump added the final tariff
- 25:50Speaker 1: rates would come down substantially from one forty five, saying
- 25:54Speaker 1: it won't be that high. Why is this our fucking president, y'all?
- 25:59Speaker 1: He like a politician. He don't present himself as a politician.
- 26:04Speaker 1: He has no business being in the highest fucking office
- 26:07Speaker 1: of the United States.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Like r VP. He wrote a book called He'll Billy Elegy.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, what are we doing?
- 26:16Speaker 1: This is wild?
- 26:17Speaker 2: This is wild, wild, wild, well wild.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Well. I haven't been in Target since they pulled that
- 26:25Speaker 1: DEI shit.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So yep.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I don't care about y'all shelves.
- 26:30Speaker 2: But it's not going to Unfortunately, it's not going to
- 26:33Speaker 2: just be targeted in Walmart and the people that acted
- 26:37Speaker 2: against us. It's going to be all of us. The
- 26:40Speaker 2: Trump hariffs are stupid. We've been saying that they're stupid.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Before he even got elected. We said they were stupid.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Speaking of the Trump administration, it has been two weeks
- 26:52Speaker 2: full of nonsense. But I narrowed my personal list down
- 26:55Speaker 2: to these two things that I want to talk about politically,
- 26:59Speaker 2: but I'll start with Pete Hegseth. Okay headline, hedgset shared
- 27:04Speaker 2: detailed military plans and second signal chat that included his
- 27:10Speaker 2: wife and brother. According to CNN, in a recent incident,
- 27:16Speaker 2: Defense Secretary Pete Hedgseth, who niggas have been calling whiskey leaks,
- 27:21Speaker 2: which cybars fucking Larry's what that dead ass looking gerbil
- 27:26Speaker 2: on South Park called wiki back in the day.
- 27:28Speaker 4: That was like telling everybody business h.
- 27:31Speaker 2: So they've been calling this whiskey leaks. So Whiskey Leaks
- 27:35Speaker 2: shared sensitive military plans concerning and operation against the hoofies
- 27:41Speaker 2: in Yemen through a second signal group chat. This chat
- 27:46Speaker 2: included not only military advisors, but also his wife, brother,
- 27:51Speaker 2: and lawyer, which raised significantly you know, significant security concerns. Again,
- 27:57Speaker 2: this is not the first time he did this again,
- 28:01Speaker 2: So this highlights the ongoing issues with the Defense Department
- 28:07Speaker 2: regarding information security critics, former military officials. They all have
- 28:12Speaker 2: expressed outrage over Headsets casual personal you know setting, like
- 28:18Speaker 2: emphasizing like the potential risks that it poses to national security.
- 28:23Speaker 2: And while Headsets remains in his position still for now,
- 28:28Speaker 2: the incident has sparked discussions about the protocols surrounding the
- 28:32Speaker 2: sharing of sensitive military information. Listen, it's not just keep
- 28:36Speaker 2: our secrets on the downlow. You're sending You're sending Americans,
- 28:41Speaker 2: American soldiers into situations where enemies may already know that
- 28:48Speaker 2: they're coming. So you're putting their lives in danger. The
- 28:51Speaker 2: people that put their lives on the line, you're personally
- 28:54Speaker 2: putting in danger. Not because of some like legit kind
- 28:59Speaker 2: of security risk. You're doing this because you want to
- 29:03Speaker 2: sit there and paraded around with your brother in white like,
- 29:06Speaker 2: oh look, guys, isn't this cool? This is the administration
- 29:10Speaker 2: that we have run in this country right now? Come on, do.
- 29:15Speaker 1: We care about your little little young scrappy or whatever
- 29:19Speaker 1: his name is.
- 29:19Speaker 2: No, we don't even know his name.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, okay, let's see. Oh, let's talk about this.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Did you know that there is a spray called Appeal
- 29:44Speaker 1: that Bill Gates backed, that is sprayed on produce that's
- 29:48Speaker 1: about to go bad. It's being able to continuously be
- 29:54Speaker 1: sold in grocery stores.
- 29:57Speaker 2: All of the spray that masks the smell of rotting fruit.
- 30:04Speaker 1: No, I don't know. It's like a it's like a
- 30:07Speaker 1: coating that keeps it looking fresh. Oh so okay, right,
- 30:13Speaker 1: So however, you cannot wash this stuff off. You can't
- 30:17Speaker 1: wash the coating off. It doesn't really come off. The
- 30:20Speaker 1: chemicals are hazardous to humans. They damage internal organs. And
- 30:27Speaker 1: this has been approved by the FDA to be used.
- 30:30Speaker 2: The twenty twenty five FDA, let's be clear.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And they're saying that this damages internal organs and causes cancer.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Wow, wow, more more from this administration. But you know,
- 30:45Speaker 2: real talk. They've been putting uh fucked up shit and
- 30:48Speaker 2: chemicals in our foods for years at this point. I mean,
- 30:52Speaker 2: for it's always been. There are countries that do not
- 30:56Speaker 2: put like the ship that we have in our food.
- 30:58Speaker 2: If we just do you and shit maybe like nah,
- 31:02Speaker 2: that shit can't even come over here, right, So I get.
- 31:05Speaker 1: It to me, it's a form of population control, and
- 31:09Speaker 1: that is a real thing. And I don't understand why
- 31:11Speaker 1: people don't get that that is a real thing. You
- 31:16Speaker 1: got what you do?
- 31:19Speaker 2: Headline, ABC News. Secretary nomes bag was snatched from a
- 31:24Speaker 2: DC restaurant with three thousand dollars in cash inside. So again.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Accord to ABC News, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Christy
- 31:34Speaker 2: Noms had her bag stolen like her purse, while dining
- 31:37Speaker 2: in a restaurant in DC. The theft occurred when a
- 31:40Speaker 2: masked man approached her table it snatched the bag, which
- 31:44Speaker 2: apparently contained three thousand dollars in cash, her passport, a
- 31:50Speaker 2: DHS access card, and other personal items. A DHS official
- 31:56Speaker 2: noted that Nome was carrying the cash to treat her
- 31:59Speaker 2: family who visiting for Easter celebration, including her children and grandchildren.
- 32:04Speaker 2: But get this, she had Secret Service people with her lyrics.
- 32:08Speaker 2: So if you're your administration is supposed to be protecting
- 32:13Speaker 2: this country and me, I could fully say, I have
- 32:18Speaker 2: zero confidence in your ability to do so. If y'all
- 32:21Speaker 2: can't even protect the people you will saw to protect, you're.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Supposed to be looking dead.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Are you supposed to be watching this bitch? It's funny
- 32:28Speaker 2: with not only stole her hers, but stole her purse
- 32:32Speaker 2: with a mask on. This nigga just strolled over with
- 32:34Speaker 2: a mask and was like, take sat thank you, this
- 32:38Speaker 2: is nice. I mean what and again this is the
- 32:42Speaker 2: Secret Service? Come on, what do we this administration, all
- 32:48Speaker 2: them appointees, y'all voted for this and here we sit.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It's getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Every time you turn around, you got something else. So
- 32:59Speaker 2: we're gonna talk about fant of shark.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Because how China has has is coming uh making all
- 33:09Speaker 1: these tiktoks. Yes, can I just say I'm here for
- 33:23Speaker 1: I am here for China letting the cat out the
- 33:26Speaker 1: fucking bag. Do you understand what I'm saying that they said, Oh,
- 33:32Speaker 1: you put in some tariffs on us. Okay, let me
- 33:35Speaker 1: let y'all know, you Americans know you're you have been
- 33:38Speaker 1: bampo results. Let us pray just so you know comes
- 33:45Speaker 1: from us. Those burking bags bitch that you that you
- 33:49Speaker 1: buy for fifty six thousand dollars and that you get
- 33:52Speaker 1: doo dooo do on in Dubai. Yeah, they come from us.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Secrets hannies on the dollar. When I tell you, chef's kiss,
- 34:02Speaker 1: all the videos I've seen, yeah, sooff jokes, This is
- 34:08Speaker 1: a knockoff. This is the this is the thing. These
- 34:11Speaker 1: are things that I have always tried to educate people on.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I always tell them, I said you, this is what
- 34:19Speaker 1: I have a problem with. In the black community. We
- 34:23Speaker 1: spend so much of our resources on designer things from
- 34:28Speaker 1: from people who don't even want us in their products.
- 34:33Speaker 1: They don't They don't want us buying it, they don't
- 34:37Speaker 1: want us wearing it, but we still continue to do so.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I told a lot I try to tell people, you're
- 34:44Speaker 1: buying a name all of that stuff that you think
- 34:47Speaker 1: is luxurious and high quality and thing. It might be
- 34:51Speaker 1: high quality, but you're paying for the name. That's it.
- 34:54Speaker 1: You're paying the label.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Bitch.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I could buy the same joint and I'm going to too.
- 34:59Speaker 1: By the way, China, all them China videos A yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: I definitely save them because I'm to be ordering a
- 35:05Speaker 1: couple of things.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Work.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Got my own freaking name on there. Guess what it's
- 35:10Speaker 1: still worth. It still has the same quality as y'all
- 35:13Speaker 1: who let y'allself get shitted on in Dubai. Yes, and
- 35:19Speaker 1: all I had to do was order it from China.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I love it. I love it, love it, love it.
- 35:26Speaker 2: It's so delicious, it's wonderful. It's given me so much joy.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And it's not only that, but it's the fact that
- 35:35Speaker 2: so much of this is starting to be less easy
- 35:39Speaker 2: to hide. And you know, for the for the longest time,
- 35:43Speaker 2: they've hid behind Fox News and the Fox brand, and
- 35:48Speaker 2: now even Fox is finding like they're looking to twist
- 35:53Speaker 2: news stories like they do and they can't twist certain ship.
- 35:57Speaker 2: So now they're even starting to report things for what
- 36:00Speaker 2: they are, Like they're starting to report holes that we
- 36:04Speaker 2: previously had side eyeable results, but now things are starting
- 36:10Speaker 2: to reflect a lot more consistently across the board.
- 36:13Speaker 1: So I'm gonna be on Ali Express, I'm gonna be
- 36:17Speaker 1: on Timu, I'm gonna be on all them little site
- 36:20Speaker 1: you hear me. Yeah, louis for almost free.
- 36:27Speaker 9: Because it's all coming from the same place. Yeah, it's oh,
- 36:31Speaker 9: and there's nothing wrong with wanting a brand name on things.
- 36:35Speaker 9: But again, y'all are paying and I've said this ship.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Y'all getting robbed.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Y'all getting robbed for years. Y'all label queens, y'all. Okay,
- 36:45Speaker 2: I'm leaving Carter like.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Mm hmmm, if it's if it's not a black designer,
- 36:53Speaker 1: miss me with that bullshit, because nine times out of ten,
- 36:56Speaker 1: like Timmy Hill figure said older years ago, I don't
- 37:00Speaker 1: don't designed for blacks.
- 37:02Speaker 2: You know what? I get that shit? All right, girl,
- 37:05Speaker 2: let's talk about Shannon Sharp lads, all right, TMZ Sports.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Shannon Sharp I offered millions to keep intimate details private.
- 37:17Speaker 2: TMZ Shannon Sharp had b D s M about one
- 37:20Speaker 2: hundred times with a WAYE percues. Their sources say, okay,
- 37:24Speaker 2: mm hm, y'all's uncle Shannon Sharp. See when I when
- 37:29Speaker 2: I be saying these niggas of bombs, y'all be forever
- 37:33Speaker 2: quickly sliding down the bat poles to put on capes
- 37:36Speaker 2: to defend them. And I'm glad they keep doubling down
- 37:39Speaker 2: on who they really are improving y'all wrong. So I
- 37:42Speaker 2: pulled this story from BBC because you know, irony, and
- 37:46Speaker 2: I'm petty if I get an article and it's this
- 37:57Speaker 2: kind of ship. I'm pulling it from all right, and
- 38:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna read it to y'all verbatim so we can
- 38:05Speaker 2: unpack it, all right. So because I want, I want
- 38:08Speaker 2: to be clear. According to BBC, Shannon Sharp, a Super
- 38:14Speaker 2: Bowl champion and host of a popular podcast, has been
- 38:17Speaker 2: accused of sexual assault in Nevada in a Nevada lawsuit.
- 38:22Speaker 2: The lawsuit was brought by a woman who alleged mister
- 38:25Speaker 2: Sharp used his fame to quote manipulate, control, subjugate, and
- 38:30Speaker 2: violate women end quote. The accuser, who was nineteen at
- 38:34Speaker 2: the time she met Sharp in twenty twenty three, says
- 38:38Speaker 2: an illegal filing that the pair had a nearly two
- 38:41Speaker 2: year relationship, during which time mister Sharp was aggressive and
- 38:47Speaker 2: allegedly raped her. Mister Sharp has denied the allegations and
- 38:51Speaker 2: said he is a target of a quote shakedown which
- 38:56Speaker 2: is mostly y'all, neverma. The suit seeks more than fifty
- 39:00Speaker 2: million in compensantory and punitive damages. The accuser is the
- 39:06Speaker 2: only person suing, and she does not provide details on
- 39:10Speaker 2: her accusation that mister Sharp hurt more than herself. According
- 39:13Speaker 2: to the suit, the woman met mister Sharp, currently aged
- 39:17Speaker 2: fifty six and I Los Angeles Jim, and had a
- 39:21Speaker 2: quote rocky consensual relationship quote. After many months of manipulating
- 39:27Speaker 2: and controlling the plaintiff, a woman more than thirty years
- 39:31Speaker 2: younger than he, and repeatedly threatening to brutally choke and
- 39:35Speaker 2: violently slap her, Sharp refused to accept the answer no
- 39:38Speaker 2: and raped plaintiff despite her sobbing and repeated screams of
- 39:43Speaker 2: no end quote the complaint allegence. The woman alleges that
- 39:47Speaker 2: mister Sharp raped her as recently as January. In addition,
- 39:52Speaker 2: she alleges in the suit that mister Sharp insisted on
- 39:55Speaker 2: recording some of the sexual encounters, sometimes without her consent
- 39:59Speaker 2: or knowledge, shared the videos with his friends and associates.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Mister Sharp has four million subscribers to his Club Shayshay
- 40:07Speaker 2: podcast and is reportedly in negotiations on a one million
- 40:12Speaker 2: dollar deal for his network of shows. Quote this is
- 40:15Speaker 2: a shakedown, he said in a video posted into Instagram
- 40:19Speaker 2: a late Tuesday, addressing the lawsuit. Quote I'm going to
- 40:23Speaker 2: be open, transparent and defend myself because this isn't right.
- 40:28Speaker 2: End quote. Mister Sharp then accused the woman's lawyer, Tony Busby,
- 40:32Speaker 2: of filing a fraudulent lawsuit and threatened to sue her
- 40:35Speaker 2: for defamation. Mister Busby represented a plaintiff, the same plaintiff
- 40:41Speaker 2: who accused rapper JYZ of misconduct and ultimately rescinded her allegation.
- 40:47Speaker 2: He also worked with several female massage therapists who accused
- 40:51Speaker 2: NFL star Deshaun Watson of sexual assault. Quote. I believe
- 40:55Speaker 2: he's going to release a thirty second clip of a
- 40:58Speaker 2: sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and
- 41:02Speaker 2: play into every stereotype you could possibly imagine, Sharp said,
- 41:06Speaker 2: that video should actually be ten minutes or so, hey, Tony,
- 41:11Speaker 2: instead of releasing your edit, put the whole video out.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I don't have it, or I would myself. End quote.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Last year, mister Sharp livestream audio of an intimate encounter
- 41:23Speaker 2: with his millions of followers on Instagram and later apologized,
- 41:27Speaker 2: saying he had mistakenly turned on the apps live feature.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Mister Sharp played in the NFL for fourteen years and
- 41:35Speaker 2: won three Super Bowls. He went on to be inducted
- 41:38Speaker 2: into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and has had
- 41:41Speaker 2: a long sports broadcast and curage. That is the article.
- 41:46Speaker 2: H Yeah, I wanted to give the article before I
- 41:51Speaker 2: give my opinion. But where are you with this? There?
- 41:55Speaker 8: Chow?
- 41:55Speaker 1: It's so much other things coming out about this man
- 41:59Speaker 1: and weird shit he was into, like race play.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Okay, so go ahead.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what to say about this man, Like,
- 42:16Speaker 1: oh my gosh, you asked for this. You're a fifty
- 42:20Speaker 1: seven year old man and having relations with someone who
- 42:29Speaker 1: is not even old enough to drink.
- 42:32Speaker 2: All right, you had no business, you didn't. She's in
- 42:37Speaker 2: her twenties and was nineteen when they first started doing this.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Ill you big black bitch, I get it legal, and
- 42:47Speaker 2: that seems to be the threshold for a lot of
- 42:49Speaker 2: y'all predatorized niggas out here brying on young people like
- 42:53Speaker 2: there's no reason a fifty plus year old man with
- 42:57Speaker 2: Shannon Sharp's access and influence should be doing bumping uglies
- 43:01Speaker 2: with somebody thirty years younger.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Than ninety years old.
- 43:05Speaker 4: I don't care what y'all say legal or not.
- 43:08Speaker 2: That ship is and has always been creepy in.
- 43:13Speaker 1: You old enough to be that girl's grandfather, and are like,
- 43:17Speaker 1: get the fuck out of my face, you nasty yes
- 43:19Speaker 1: nigga for one for two play, So that means you
- 43:25Speaker 1: was you was letting her call you nigga and her master,
- 43:30Speaker 1: and you a type of ship, Like what the fuck
- 43:33Speaker 1: is wrong with you?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Y'all? You wanna sneak out a slave master's dead and
- 43:37Speaker 2: come on letting her.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Like I just you know what, people have to be
- 43:45Speaker 1: humbled because if the scandal of you, of that leaked
- 43:49Speaker 1: footage sex tape thing, he wasn't enough that you need
- 43:52Speaker 1: to chill the fuck out and stop, you know what
- 43:54Speaker 1: I'm saying, using your dick and and being a grown
- 43:58Speaker 1: up for once, Maybe the situation will make you realize
- 44:01Speaker 1: that there's more to life than chasing Assuring seven.
- 44:06Speaker 2: But you know what, niggas keep doing that ship and
- 44:08Speaker 2: being all I am the real victim when they get
- 44:11Speaker 2: caught up just like this. And however this developing story
- 44:15Speaker 2: pans out, I'll stand on that.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Monique warned you.
- 44:19Speaker 2: She call.
- 44:24Speaker 1: She called it exactly to the d When people are
- 44:27Speaker 1: in your life or or around you that they give
- 44:30Speaker 1: you solid, valid advice and you don't listen, that's on you.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Your career is done. Fuck that podcast, which was starting
- 44:39Speaker 1: to take off, like what the fuck he was gonna do? Well,
- 44:44Speaker 1: cancel that ship? Your legacy gone.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Yeah, ESPN said.
- 44:50Speaker 2: With you, we're not doing whatever. This is.
- 44:55Speaker 1: A chance because even after the sex scandal thing, you
- 44:58Speaker 1: still was able to.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Keep your job, even after you hit live on that.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Uh you know when you was fucking that girl Michelle
- 45:06Speaker 2: and niggas had shirts and merchant ship.
- 45:09Speaker 1: That was a warning. That was your warning. That was
- 45:12Speaker 1: your warning. You said, fuck all that. I'm a nineteen
- 45:16Speaker 1: year old you. I meant it'd be hitting.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Okay. So when I heard the lawyer was Tony Busby,
- 45:25Speaker 2: I was like, oh yeah, that's the same grimy ass
- 45:28Speaker 2: lawyer that tried to come for jay Z and I,
- 45:30Speaker 2: you know, I immediately back down, you know, I was like,
- 45:34Speaker 2: but then the audio drop where we could hear old
- 45:37Speaker 2: girl talking about how she didn't want to be manipulated,
- 45:40Speaker 2: and then Shannon gets mad at.
- 45:41Speaker 10: Her and he's like, I'm gonna choke you the next
- 45:43Speaker 10: time I see you. And then that white woman was like, um, hairtuck,
- 45:49Speaker 10: I don't want to be choked.
- 45:52Speaker 4: It's not gonna be your choice.
- 45:55Speaker 1: I mean, even that still could have been a center
- 45:57Speaker 1: because I mean, if you read the if you if
- 46:00Speaker 1: you've seen the text message threads that came out, you
- 46:03Speaker 1: could really tell like all of that shit was not
- 46:07Speaker 1: put in the entirety. It literally reads us if things,
- 46:11Speaker 1: some things were deleted.
- 46:12Speaker 2: No, I get I read another headline. I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 46:17Speaker 1: But but my thing is like, if it's a setup
- 46:21Speaker 1: and you basically asks for it, you think what yourself?
- 46:26Speaker 1: The universe and God tried to warn you so many times,
- 46:33Speaker 1: like he gave you an out, like I'm trying to
- 46:36Speaker 1: help you. I'm trying to stop this from happening, because
- 46:38Speaker 1: this was gonna happen, and you have another path, and
- 46:41Speaker 1: you said, man, I listen to none of that. We're
- 46:44Speaker 1: a nineteen year old master at like here, man, y'all
- 46:49Speaker 1: tripping out here your.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Slave master's daughters. That's what you said.
- 46:54Speaker 1: That's crazy, crazy, And you probably had a whole narrative
- 46:59Speaker 1: like you was gonna bring again, and probably told her
- 47:02Speaker 1: to stream a little bit, probably told her to call
- 47:05Speaker 1: you Toby or some wow, what the fuck out Toby
- 47:11Speaker 1: Wild And I'm sorry, like you gotta suffer consequences.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Work, But you know what I did read you know
- 47:23Speaker 2: on TMZ he had bds M about one hundred times
- 47:27Speaker 2: with this woman. Yeah, okay, you know, I guess I'm
- 47:33Speaker 2: gonna close this out by point out that a this
- 47:36Speaker 2: story is still developing, and b that it could have
- 47:39Speaker 2: been all avoided if, like Lyrics said, you just did
- 47:45Speaker 2: what Monique told Joe did goofy ass to do in
- 47:48Speaker 2: the first place when she came on your podcast, Stop
- 47:50Speaker 2: messing with these teeny bobbers and get you a grown woman.
- 47:54Speaker 2: And you know what, I don't even fo Monique like
- 47:55Speaker 2: that because she is a horrible mother and she showed
- 47:58Speaker 2: the rest of us that she was but broken clock
- 48:02Speaker 2: twice a day. There you go, Hmmm, anything else we
- 48:06Speaker 2: care about this week cult.
- 48:10Speaker 1: A little bit because he's on the hell for me,
- 48:16Speaker 1: you know, I'm talking about Uh.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm right over there with Tim Scott. Uh the
- 48:25Speaker 2: mother Coon's coon, stephen A. He in good company with
- 48:29Speaker 2: stephen A. They can drop both of them niggas. Yeah,
- 48:33Speaker 2: unseasoned behavior up back.
- 48:35Speaker 11: The Trump administration just announced that the black folks in
- 48:37Speaker 11: Alabama will no longer be receiving an improvement on the
- 48:40Speaker 11: waistewater treatment because then receiving that is a ill legal
- 48:44Speaker 11: DEI and environmental justice policy for the people in the back,
- 48:48Speaker 11: pointing out that black folks for the seventh eighth benefiti
- 48:50Speaker 11: of your DEI does not account for how our proximity
- 48:54Speaker 11: to that criminalizes the way that black people get improvement
- 48:57Speaker 11: on their waistewater. Even when we have statistics and study
- 49:00Speaker 11: they show that this community is harmed by raw sewage.
- 49:03Speaker 11: They say, hey, you're receiving an improvement on that. That's
- 49:06Speaker 11: considered an illegal d I think that's environmental justice policy.
- 49:10Speaker 12: And you supposed to have dirty water?
- 49:11Speaker 11: Why have legitimate criticisms of DEI? And I was always
- 49:14Speaker 11: trying to account for the failures the integration. Yes, but
- 49:17Speaker 11: I can also be critical about how the criminalization of
- 49:19Speaker 11: pathology around DI is leading to black people getting less access,
- 49:24Speaker 11: less resources, less opportunities to receive things like clean water
- 49:28Speaker 11: showing y'all the blue friend is saying anything that black
- 49:31Speaker 11: folks is getting is some type of illegal d y'all policy.
- 49:34Speaker 11: We're gonna termin that and cut it right there.
- 49:36Speaker 3: You said what we're going with this, Marges has your glib.
- 49:43Speaker 2: If you listen to the show back when we were
- 49:45Speaker 2: on Uncensored Network or any of our older platforms back
- 49:48Speaker 2: in the day, you already know you know how I
- 49:51Speaker 2: personally feel about Trant. Now, I won't say that I'm
- 49:54Speaker 2: a dramaphobe exactly, but lyric you could speak to when
- 49:59Speaker 2: we used to carry like we used to have lightsil
- 50:02Speaker 2: cans for the mics and everything from Trump's first term.
- 50:06Speaker 2: You remember that.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Shit hand sanitizer Byrah Jail and all of that, and
- 50:12Speaker 1: still do because lives.
- 50:15Speaker 2: And again, I'm not gonna say that I'm a germaphobe,
- 50:18Speaker 2: but Trump's last term and the way he mishandled COVID
- 50:22Speaker 2: certainly has made me ten times worse. Like It's truthfully
- 50:26Speaker 2: one of the reasons I don't go out as often
- 50:28Speaker 2: as I did anymore. That being said, as of last week,
- 50:31Speaker 2: there have been eight hundred measles cases in the US
- 50:36Speaker 2: this year, higher than any point since twenty nineteen, where
- 50:42Speaker 2: there were one thousand, two hundred and seventy four cases,
- 50:45Speaker 2: being the highest number of cases since nineteen ninety four.
- 50:50Speaker 2: If things keep going the way that they're going, we're
- 50:52Speaker 2: gonna end up with the highest number of measles cases
- 50:55Speaker 2: in thirty years. And a few doctors, physicians, whatever you
- 51:00Speaker 2: want to call them, are as committed to helping the
- 51:03Speaker 2: United States beat that record as doctor Ben Edwards. Have
- 51:08Speaker 2: you heard about him? He was recently praised by a
- 51:13Speaker 2: Robert F. Kennedy Junior as quote an extraordinary healer for
- 51:20Speaker 2: the bangup job he's doing. He's loading measles infected Texas children.
- 51:26Speaker 2: He's loading them up with co liber oil and medications
- 51:29Speaker 2: designed for afflictions other than measles. This is according to
- 51:34Speaker 2: an article posted by Robert Paninsia on substat So. This
- 51:39Speaker 2: should be a reminder to all of us are the
- 51:41Speaker 2: consequences of neglecting public health measure. This is not yo,
- 51:45Speaker 2: Mama and anien, this is the entire country. And with
- 51:50Speaker 2: that we have to talk about the importance of vaccinations,
- 51:55Speaker 2: the fact that the resurgence of measles, a disease that
- 51:58Speaker 2: was once it was nearly gone, like it was eradicated
- 52:03Speaker 2: in most parts of the world. So he's been going around,
- 52:06Speaker 2: you know, Robert F. Kennedy, he said himself, and I
- 52:09Speaker 2: don't know if you've heard the interviews there. He said like, oh, well,
- 52:13Speaker 2: you know, the best way to get it is to
- 52:14Speaker 2: get it, let your body develop the communities against it,
- 52:19Speaker 2: which is so problematic on so many level. But the
- 52:24Speaker 2: danger of this ideology encouraging treatments that lack scientific backing
- 52:31Speaker 2: during an active measles outbreak. They they don't just mislead people.
- 52:38Speaker 2: They don't just mislead one or two people. These are
- 52:42Speaker 2: desperate parents, but also they're people that hang on to
- 52:46Speaker 2: your every word. You have power, and you're using this
- 52:50Speaker 2: as just some kind of like science experiment. You're going
- 52:54Speaker 2: against all of this knowledge and math and words and
- 53:00Speaker 2: just to push your own personal agenda. And when you
- 53:04Speaker 2: bring up population control, it's y'all come up with your
- 53:08Speaker 2: own conclusion.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I would just say this, do your research. Do your research,
- 53:14Speaker 1: because as far as COVID is concerned, I am not vaccinated.
- 53:17Speaker 1: It never have been, never will be. I did not
- 53:21Speaker 1: sit right with me. That's my own personal decision. But
- 53:25Speaker 1: I find it real funny how all of these issues
- 53:28Speaker 1: are starting to pop up with not only the COVID
- 53:33Speaker 1: vaccination but also the testing kits. I'm not very trusting
- 53:39Speaker 1: with certain things, especially how quickly they were like forcing
- 53:44Speaker 1: people to do so. I don't like the fact that
- 53:46Speaker 1: y'all were offering people cheeseburgers to get vaccinated and all
- 53:50Speaker 1: of this other wild shit. It didn't sit right with me,
- 53:54Speaker 1: so I didn't do it. Months down the line, you
- 53:57Speaker 1: see healthy children dropping dead on athletic fields from heart attacks,
- 54:04Speaker 1: no previous conditions, health conditions, because that was one of
- 54:10Speaker 1: the things that people were trying to say, Oh they
- 54:11Speaker 1: must have had a previous health No healthy children dropping dead. Now,
- 54:18Speaker 1: nobody better ask me, do you shit? You know how
- 54:21Speaker 1: I got through COVID How I drank something called soursopti.
- 54:27Speaker 1: It is a care caribbean plant that has cancer fighting properties.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I drunk that for three days straight and was and
- 54:36Speaker 1: tested negative on the third day.
- 54:38Speaker 2: And you know what, there's nothing wrong with the remedies.
- 54:42Speaker 2: There's nothing wrong with your memedies and stuff. There's nothing wrong. Yeah,
- 54:48Speaker 2: but here's the thing. You can't use your influence and
- 54:51Speaker 2: power to then turn around and enact your personal belief
- 54:55Speaker 2: instead of beliefs onto the rest of everybody else. That
- 54:59Speaker 2: doesn't make sense.
- 55:00Speaker 1: That's true.
- 55:00Speaker 2: If you don't believe in vaccines, then bitch, remove yourself
- 55:04Speaker 2: from the equation and leave the rest of us alone,
- 55:06Speaker 2: because you're going in forcefully trying to make people adhere
- 55:09Speaker 2: to again your belief systems, and you're gonna cost people
- 55:13Speaker 2: their lives with your little science experiment. Get these delusional,
- 55:17Speaker 2: unhinged people out of these government offices and into asylums
- 55:22Speaker 2: for some and jail for the rest.
- 55:25Speaker 1: And that's and that's another thing too. A lot of
- 55:28Speaker 1: these people don't do research. They just they just see
- 55:31Speaker 1: something somebody can make it like a video on YouTube
- 55:35Speaker 1: and put some shit together and be like, hey, I'm
- 55:37Speaker 1: gonna take this. No no no, no, no no no.
- 55:40Speaker 1: You mix the wrong herbs. Your dad, nigga, your organs
- 55:45Speaker 1: are shutting down. This ain't know for a fact. You
- 55:47Speaker 1: got to be very careful of people's influences, like you said,
- 55:54Speaker 1: and suggestions on home remedies.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Because people cad liver oil.
- 56:00Speaker 1: They're talking about.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Cod liver oil is about caliver oil?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Is you know what card liver oil is.
- 56:08Speaker 2: It's oil, That's what it is.
- 56:10Speaker 1: It's your immune system. Yes, ship people give it to
- 56:16Speaker 1: their kids when they're constipated.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Go ahead, I mean.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Maybe it's gonna be right over there.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Still, Uh got bumps and.
- 56:35Speaker 2: All right, So that's it. That's all. I guess my
- 56:39Speaker 2: thought's up next. Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 11: Absolutely, So y'all are just start realizing that straight women
- 56:44Speaker 11: are homophobic?
- 56:45Speaker 6: Can I get it?
- 56:45Speaker 8: Because men are typically the most violent and vitriolic with
- 56:49Speaker 8: their homophobia, and we also live in a patriarchy that
- 56:52Speaker 8: gives them the right to govern society. So even systemically,
- 56:56Speaker 8: if there's one group that is the most harmful to
- 56:59Speaker 8: queer people, well it has been sins head men.
- 57:01Speaker 1: I'll give y'all that, but none of that in the case.
- 57:03Speaker 8: The fact that as a collective, cis head women are
- 57:06Speaker 8: just as homophobic and transphobic as the men they fuck,
- 57:11Speaker 8: date and marry. And one other thing that sets them
- 57:13Speaker 8: apart from their boyfriends is that typically, at least homophobic
- 57:18Speaker 8: men aren't going to fake the funk. Even dl men
- 57:21Speaker 8: typically won't do anything that could be perceived as gay
- 57:24Speaker 8: or feminine.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Including befriending gay people.
- 57:27Speaker 8: By the way, this is why I laugh when y'all
- 57:29Speaker 8: call men DL for doing things that you perceive as feminine,
- 57:32Speaker 8: because most DL niggas are actually hyper masculine as a
- 57:36Speaker 8: defense mechanism, and you sassy apocalypse girlies are their main
- 57:40Speaker 8: targets because your devotion to rigid gender roles gives them
- 57:43Speaker 8: a cover.
- 57:44Speaker 1: But I digress.
- 57:45Speaker 8: Typically, with homophobic men, you're not going to be surprised
- 57:48Speaker 8: when they reveal their true nature because they lead with it.
- 57:51Speaker 8: Whereas a lot of homophobic women will be friend queer people,
- 57:55Speaker 8: namely gay me. I'll talk about how funny and lively
- 57:59Speaker 8: y'all are, the go to drag shows.
- 58:01Speaker 1: They'll use ballroom language.
- 58:03Speaker 8: Oftentimes you won't even know they're homophobic. Sometimes they don't
- 58:07Speaker 8: even know they're homophobic until a a gay man does
- 58:10Speaker 8: something that pisses them off. B they speak about religion,
- 58:13Speaker 8: see their son does something that they perceive as feminine
- 58:17Speaker 8: or gay, pardie. They're confronted with a person or concept
- 58:20Speaker 8: that is really really queer in a way that goes
- 58:23Speaker 8: beyond simply being gay, such as gay men that wear
- 58:26Speaker 8: makeup and wicks. This is how we arrived at who's
- 58:29Speaker 8: going to be the boy from Girlies.
- 58:31Speaker 6: That y'all thought knew better.
- 58:32Speaker 8: You expect that homophobia from Miss Ernestine in the church,
- 58:36Speaker 8: but it's things a little more when it comes from
- 58:38Speaker 8: Jasmine who follows Santana on social media but would beat
- 58:41Speaker 8: the shit out of her son if.
- 58:43Speaker 1: He was gay. Same thing, Krisha said Clockett.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Why do you have why? Why file?
- 58:52Speaker 4: Why hate me?
- 58:54Speaker 3: Are real radio?
- 58:57Speaker 2: Why do I?
- 58:58Speaker 1: Vaginavine is out.
- 59:01Speaker 2: There explaining the unexplained. We're answering why to the questions.
- 59:06Speaker 2: You want to know by taking your skeets over on
- 59:08Speaker 2: Blue Sky at WRTR Radio, and we also take your
- 59:12Speaker 2: emails over at WRTR Radio at gmail dot com. This
- 59:16Speaker 2: is the wad files. Remember the truth is out there.
- 59:20Speaker 2: You're up, Miss alric My.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Why comes from me? And I want to know? Why
- 59:26Speaker 1: do people have so many freaking opinions when you post
- 59:30Speaker 1: like say you I say this because I just saw
- 59:33Speaker 1: a video. Somebody posted a cute video. Two second video,
- 59:38Speaker 1: Well I'm exaggerating, like thirty second video of their kid
- 59:41Speaker 1: doing something funny.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Okay, The comments.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Section is always chaotic. Why do people feel like they
- 59:49Speaker 1: have to give their unsolicited fucking advice? And concerns about
- 59:55Speaker 1: a thirty second fucking video about everything like dissecting the
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: whole thing. Oh my gosh, I wouldn't have did that.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Oh that poor kid, This that and the third and
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: you don't know these people y'all have made. Y'all have
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: made stories about people being abused because a father came
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: in and told their kid to go to bed. He's
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: being abused. I just watched a video like that yesterday.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: The mom was like, you need to go to bed.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: It's time for you to go to bed. She's going
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: back and forth, and the dad came in there, snapped
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: his fingers and said, come on, now, let's go. That's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: all he did.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: The comments was talking about CPS and he has I
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: took psychology and that's a fair response. And somebody did
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: something to that boy. I'm just like, are y'all for real?
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Yeah? They are?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Because unfortunates go outside and touch grass. Because this can't
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: like for real? It gets on my nerves. Why because
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the truth is out there?
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I guess it is. And y'all do get extreme with
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: some of the comments and keyboard gangsters get carried away
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: on a regular basis. But I will say though, if
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: you put something out on the Internet, you set that
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: ship to public instead of deprivate or instead of your
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: select group of friends. People are going to have opinions.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: They like assholes, And that's and.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: That's even cretzier because you could say it's a private
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: somebody can always screen record your whole video, post that
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: shit in a group somewhere else, and that shit go
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: y when you like, what the fuck like? You can't
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: even like share like happy moments with your family like normal.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, lyric this is the perfect segue into
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: what I was about to talk about. So this why
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: comes from anonymous in Maryland. So I was debating about
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: how I wanted to approach this story right because it's
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: not really a main headline in you know, the news,
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: but it involves an old associate of mine that I
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: met through one of my besties back when we were teenagers. Yeah,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: I want to say rip to my associate, Stephanie Brookman.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: I've literally known her since I was since she was
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: a kid, and since the CA since we were kids
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: sixteen ish, you know, I want sugarcoated. That girl had
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: it rush from John and a large part of that
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: reason was her family and I could spend another ten
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: minutes dragging them for the shit that I know to
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: be true. What I won't. I will instead answer the
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: question Anonymous wrote in asking why do people post intimate
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: details of the cause of someone's death on social media?
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: I was always taught that these things are usually taboo,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: uncalled for, useless, and ultimately tasteless an Anonymous I couldn't
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: agree with, thank you more. A screenshot was sent to me,
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: and I'm gonna just read it to you. I've spent
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: my whole life trying to protect all of my kids,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: but one thing I could not protect her from was drugs,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: and now just taken her life. And I do not
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: know where to go or what to do. I just
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: hope and pray that the Lord Jesus has her in
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: her arms now. Rest in peace, Stephanie Brookman, I love
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: you so much, my firstborn daughter. Shortly after, another post
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: was made with the picture of Stephanie's sun that says
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: this is what she left behind, a bunch of emojis
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: sweet you know his name. There is a very fine
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: line between grieving and doing shit for clout and social
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: media attention. Stephanie lost her battle with addiction satisfactual. Why
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: we everybody else needed to know that it was because
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: of drugs is beyond me, and I get this notifying
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: friends and family of someone's passing, but the details of
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: someone's passing, in my opinion, should be reserved or omitted
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: in some instances. I'd be lying if knowing the backstory
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: of all of this, of how horrible these people were
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: too and around her, I would be lying if I
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: said that that didn't play a part. And some of
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: my vitriol for this, but I wanted to definitely mention
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: it because I see it often, and it's not just
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: from her family. People often use somebody's death to don't like,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: elevate their own public perception after they lose somebody. But
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: that's why you need a therapist and not a keyboard.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: To those of you that listened to this show from
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: the old crew that knew her, my heart goes out
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: if you're grieving, and their struggles weren't a secret if
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: you knew her. But this was just some garbage and
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: it did not set well with me. So I'm glad
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: you wrote in anonymous. I'm glad you did, and take
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: your time getting through it, because the truth is out there,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: and that wraps it up for this week's WI Files.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: You know the socials. Well, I wish I could say
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: that we were gonna bring up the beat, but news
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: may not up next and you don't know where that
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: could go, so right, we'll see.
- 1:05:14Speaker 12: Never refriend or refamily a person who try to destroy
- 1:05:18Speaker 12: your character, your life, who you are, your money, your finances,
- 1:05:21Speaker 12: your family, or your relationships. Stop refriending and refamilying these people.
- 1:05:26Speaker 12: I get it. You got a big heart, right, you
- 1:05:28Speaker 12: love giving second chances. But stop giving second chances to
- 1:05:31Speaker 12: the devil. Stop re entering and giving people another opportunity
- 1:05:35Speaker 12: to hurt you, to break you, to throw you, to
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: throw you down to the wolves right, to hurt you,
- 1:05:39Speaker 12: to betray you. Stop giving people second chances. Right, A
- 1:05:42Speaker 12: lot of people they haven't learned for the first time,
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: and especially if they try to destroy your character and
- 1:05:46Speaker 12: who you are and the relationships you have with yourself,
- 1:05:49Speaker 12: having you healing from these things, all right, Stop refriending
- 1:05:53Speaker 12: and refamiling these people who are out here just to
- 1:05:56Speaker 12: destroy your life, your character, and the relationship you have
- 1:05:59Speaker 12: with yourself.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Used to make you nauseous. On w RT our Real
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Talk Radio, Let's.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Go Hey, these are some of the stories you might
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: not read about in the New York Times, the Washington
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Post of the Wall Street Journal. It's news to make
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: you nauseous. I guess I will go first, since you
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: took the wild house first.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Say what San Carlos Park, Florida. Say Why it's Florida again?
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Mistler oh Lord, a twenty year old woman has been
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: arrested on charges related to wait for it, festiology, I'm
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: hanging out. According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: woman allegedly engaged in sexual acts with at least one
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: of her two dogs and recorded these acts on a video.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: The investigation was superheaded by the agency's Animal Cruelty Task
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Force and the Special Them Unit, which uncovered the horrific
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: abuse occurring within her residence. Following her arrest, the woman
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: was taken to the Lee County Jail, where she faces
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: charges not only for sexual activities involving animals, but also
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: for producing pornographic images or videos featuring animals. That's right, kids,
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: she videoed it because no red neck ash dig would
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: be complete without home movies of fucking the family dog. Anyways,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: both of her dogs, a cur and a Dutch home
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: have been removed or doc sound is how do you
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: pronounce that word? I always get that one confused. Anyways,
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: both of them bitches have been removed from her custody
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: and are currently being cared for by Lee County Domestic
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Animal Services. Legal team has initiated a petition to secure
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: custody of the dogs until they can be placed into
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: a rescue organization. Blah blah blah, you nasty bitch. What
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: the fucks is happening Florida again? White people again? I
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: don't know for certain, but I'd be willing to bet
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: money on who she voted for this past November because
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: this kind of mentality is what we see going mm hmmmm, oh.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: My gosh, what so mine? It's also about, but in
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: this particular occurrence, the animals received justice. Okay, all right,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: say what Las Vegas?
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Say what?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: A Las Vegas veterinarian who went missing in early April,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: shortly after a video after him brutally kicking a horse
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: in the face just online, was found dead in a
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: lake Friday.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Oh from what did the horse found him? The beating?
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: Because you know that's what happened with that cow? You
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: remember that's what happened with that bull and that woman.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Was it a cow or a bull, but that woman
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: had sucked with it and then she got and then
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: the bull came and like turned over casket.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: You remember that ship.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I don't know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: So I'm just imagining that.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: I'm just imagining like BoJack Horseman rolling up in a
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: hell cat and like fighting somebody is.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Just interesting, Okay. So doctor Sean Freshner fifty six, was
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: recovered from Lake Mead, a reservoir spanning from Nevada to Arizona.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Or These combed the reservoir after finding his truck and
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: multiple personal belongings near the water's edge last week. He
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: originally disappeared on April sixth after he was captured physically
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: abusing a horse he was supposed to be treating. He
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: later apologized on Facebook after the video went viral and
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: defended his actions before vanishing. I did not latantly haul
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: off and kick this horse as it appears in the video.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: That was not my intention at all.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: It was just hodgings.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Fuck. It was done simply to get the horse in
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: a better position so that he could breathe and get
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: up and move so I can again, try anesthesia. But yes,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I did kick him right in the chin, and I
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: very much do apologize in which this never happened. Garshner
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: was set to face felony charges for animal abuse at
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: the time of his disappearance, So I think that he
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: probably committed suicide, y'all, and out of shame and avoidance.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: But you could have just paid your fied And then
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: the horse, the horse winds.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: In the end. No, I'm telling you that horse met
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: up with him that night, right, because nobody, nobody was
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: It was the horse, right. The horse was like, all right, gotcha,
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: waited till his ass was there, and.
- 1:11:28Speaker 13: All you hear is crickets, and like from the from
- 1:11:31Speaker 13: the west, you hear the Yeah, I cannot an ominous
- 1:11:39Speaker 13: wind rolls through.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: All of a sudden, you have posted around your neck,
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: and it's.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Just it's all downhill from there.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: What makes us even worse is because I just watched
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: that Death of the Unicorn movie. I could actually picture
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: it because it is crazy.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: News stories. Make sure you follow us over on Blue
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Sky at w r t R Radio. I'm also over
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: there at m R C U S S M O
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: O T. That is market smooth. I am not skeating.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: So y'all can find me on my regular dagla, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: about to be because I'm getting tired of y'all hose
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: over there, so block.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: I'm glad you got there, Frank.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: What we're talking about on real talking to choose.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: So what we're talking about is public humiliation as a punishment.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Do we feel as though it is just or do
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: we feel as though it is played out? That's what
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: we'd be talking about.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: That man that got murdered by the horse.
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: In the United States, black entertainers, athletes, and celebrities often
- 1:13:03Speaker 14: walk a tightrope. They are rewarded when they align themselves
- 1:13:08Speaker 14: with white dominated cultural norms and punished when they challenge them.
- 1:13:13Speaker 14: This pattern is not new. It's been part of the
- 1:13:16Speaker 14: entertainment and sports industries for decades. Take Sydney Portier. In
- 1:13:22Speaker 14: the nineteen sixties, he was celebrated as the first black
- 1:13:25Speaker 14: actor to win an oscar, but he was also expected
- 1:13:30Speaker 14: to be a safe figure for white audiences. Even at
- 1:13:35Speaker 14: the height of the civil rights movement, he was careful
- 1:13:39Speaker 14: about how he engaged in activism, knowing that stepping too
- 1:13:43Speaker 14: far out of line could cost him roles. Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali,
- 1:13:50Speaker 14: who refused to fight in Vietnam and spoke openly about racism,
- 1:13:54Speaker 14: was stripped of his heavyweight title and vilified in the media.
- 1:13:59Speaker 14: In the nteen nineties, Michael Jordan became the face of
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: basketball corporate America, but part of his success was tied
- 1:14:08Speaker 14: to his political neutrality, famously summed up in his alleged
- 1:14:12Speaker 14: remark Republicans by sneakers. Two contrasts that with Colin Kaepernick,
- 1:14:18Speaker 14: who knelt during the national Anthem to protest police brutality.
- 1:14:23Speaker 14: His career ended overnight, not because he couldn't play, but
- 1:14:27Speaker 14: because he refused to conform. We see this pattern in
- 1:14:31Speaker 14: entertainment too. Will Smith was Hollywood's golden boy for decades,
- 1:14:36Speaker 14: known for his clean cut image and box office appeal.
- 1:14:41Speaker 14: But the moment he stepped outside of expectations, reacting emotionally
- 1:14:45Speaker 14: in a space that demanded he remained composed, his career
- 1:14:50Speaker 14: took a major hit. Meanwhile, Dave Chappelle walked away from
- 1:14:54Speaker 14: a multi million dollar deal with Comedy Central because he
- 1:14:59Speaker 14: saw how his comedy was being consumed by white audiences,
- 1:15:04Speaker 14: and they called him crazy, They called him difficult. This
- 1:15:07Speaker 14: isn't just about individual choices. It's about a system that
- 1:15:10Speaker 14: rewards black visibility only when it remains non threatening. Step
- 1:15:17Speaker 14: outside of those boundaries and the backlash is swift. So
- 1:15:22Speaker 14: the question isn't just who is allowed to succeed, but
- 1:15:26Speaker 14: on what terms. Until black celebrities can exist in their
- 1:15:31Speaker 14: full humanity without being punished, America's celebration of diversity remains
- 1:15:39Speaker 14: conditional at best.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: One hundred It's Real Time RGIRE, Real Talk Radio.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: We keep it real.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: It is time for real talk. And what prompted me
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: for this week is I watched a video last night
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: of this lady going into the mall with her young
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: baby and her husband. But her husband was wearing a
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: cardboard box sign and at first I was like, Oh,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: maybe she's trying to get, you know, something for one
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: of one of them homeless people or something signs you know.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: They do that irritates me too, the homeless, Just help
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: them up them m But he.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Wasn't just holding a sign, he was wearing it. The
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: sign read I am a cheater, I was an affair
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: for two years.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Awful.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: While she's pushing the baby carriage, she proceeds to start
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: yelling in the mall, bringing attention to themselves talking about
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: this is my husband. Everybody, Look, he had an affair
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: while he told me he wanted a second child. I
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: had his second child while I was pregnant. He was
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: having a two year affair on me the whole time.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: And I found everybody, look, look at this man. He's
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: a cheater. Everybody look at the cheater. And I'm just like,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: what the fuck did I just watch?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Was over? Oh? This was on Caucasian TikTok. Yeah.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Sometimes I get some of those Oh.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: No, wait, this is Facebook, you said.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Okay, so no that the actual video that I watched
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: last night was on TikTok. I found one on Facebook
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: just to give you an example, and that one recently
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: happened too. I'm like, I didn't know. First of all,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I didn't know that this was a thing. Do still like,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: I'm you know, you hear people do stuff like that,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: but I'm like, I've never seen it, So, okay, why
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: are doing this instead of doing healthy work? If they
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: have been in a situation like this within your relationship
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: or your marriage, if you choose to stay this is
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: not healthy.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: I don't understand why the rest of us need to
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: know about your relationship, and you know what.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I'm saying, for the husband to agree to it, that's
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: not going to make her feel better.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Well, I'm looking at the video and it almost seems
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: like one of those kind of staged kind of situations. However,
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: I will make the point that in all of these situations, again,
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: I do see more and more videos with people taking
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: things to the rest of us instead of working them
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: out with the person they have the issue with. Mm hmm.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: That's the bigger issue here because these, yeah, humiliation videos
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: as a form of punishment, but I don't say healthy.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: It's very much not healthy, just like the ones where.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I mean, I don't feel like you're gonna get where
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: you need to be here, Like what what's the point?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Like the ones with the parents too, y'all are not
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: exempt from this dragging either.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: I don't like what you mean the parents. What's happening
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: with the parents?
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: The parents do humanly public humiliation videos too, and I
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't like that ship either. I feel the way about it.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Like one I saw a while back, this mom. I
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: saw two like this, This mom cut her daughter's braids
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: off because she was bulinging another little girl.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: They're still doing that, you know, there was that video
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: years ago like that, and then.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: A dad took his son to the barbershop and cut
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: all of his hair off because he was bullying a
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: kid with cancer in.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: His class, making his bald head.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I get that you all want to instill these lessons
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: in your kids, but putting this on social media, on
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a platform where this can stay.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Forever once you put it out there is so much.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: More damaging than you teaching them this lesson of humility
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: and giving people grace and being kind to people. And
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I don't understand why I think that this is going
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: to be something that's going to solve a problem. As
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned, all this does is a resentment,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: possibly hatred, and might turn your little kiddo into a
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: little psychopath. You might want to sleep with one eye
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: open because some or some like, but the majority, you
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: got to be really careful in the ways that you
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: do things. This is not one of them. Communication is
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: always major key therapy works utilize it. It's there for
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: a reason. A lot of people think that it's bullshit.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: It is not.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: It is not. You need somebody that you can talk
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: to to get you to make decisions, even to help
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: with your decision making and how you process certain things
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to give you different ideas of how to stress. Believe
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: when you are in like certain situations like marriage with
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: infidelity or relationship with infidelity, or how to deal with
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: your child who's doing this. Take them to therapy, yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: show that you could have showed them like a movie
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: with people with who who are dealing with cancer, or
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: take them to like an old folks home or something
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: like a hot like something, or for them to see
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: for them. So like, this is not a joking matter. Like,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: there's so many things that you could have done.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I think this a lot of things that I
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: see with people that you know, raise children. It's like
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: like for this, you would think that, Okay, yeah, making
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: fun of someone with cancer is wrong in so many ways.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: We know that as adults, But to convey that to
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: a child, I get. The more extreme the circumstance, you
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: kind of want to create an extreme consequence that kind
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: of mirrors the impact that you think that your child
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: is making.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: But here's the thing.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: If it is an extreme offense, then it takes extreme
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: diligence to work them through why this is wrong. You
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: have to show people without humiliating them. Now, you're tacked like,
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: oh my god, there's so many things wrong with just
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: the way that people think. And you know, I've heard
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: so many parents over the years say things like, well,
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: I mean, my daddy cut this, that and the third
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: in my head and I turned out just fine. Let
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: me stop you right there. You're not just fine because
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: you're an outwore dumb ass to the rest of us.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: But when you put somebody, like Lyrics said earlier, when
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: you put something on the internet, it stays forever. So
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: that brief humiliation you felt back in the sixties, seventies, whatever, eighties, nineties,
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: that was exclusive to that particular social circle and really
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: only the niggas that know you know about it, is
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: now amplified to an audience to where, like again, she said, earlier,
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: people have comments of plenty. You got some people defending you,
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: got some people shooting you down, you got some people
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: coming in with the jokey jokes. It's so much when
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: you are teaching someone a lesson. And it's one of
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: the reasons that I don't believe in Ayama's particularly you know,
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: a unique brand of therapy. But it's because you don't
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: you're not teaching the lesson. You're doing things for sensationalism.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: You're doing things to like, you know, exploit somebody.
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: Stop this.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: Everything is not everybody's business. Everything ain't meant to be
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: shared with the rest of us. I agree certain things.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Just have the conversation. Y'all want these extreme measures, people
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: tattooing niggas on their face.
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: Relax what I'm doing.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Oh, I've said that, we're at least seven times and
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: show I'm gonna relax. Com It's crazy. It's crazy. It's like,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: y'all go to the extreme. And I don't know if
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: it's really your child that you're trying to teach this
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: lesson to, or you're trying to get popular on the
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: internet to show people that, oh, look look what a
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: great parent I am. Look what I'm doing. When it
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: in reality, it makes you look it makes you horrible,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: It makes you look crazy. And I don't rock with
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: parents who do that and people who do that, like
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: settle your differences in private. Everything does not need to
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: be publicized.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: It's not for us.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: It's not for us. Keep us out the group chat.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: We don't need to be there. Like for real, you
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: can make moves in life and nobody has everything you
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: do does not have to be documented.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Man.
