- 0:15Speaker 1: What if some of the most powerful ways we create
- 0:18Speaker 1: change are also the most joyful? For Aaron Abelman, play, music, storytelling, wisdom,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and care for the earth have always belonged together. A
- 0:33Speaker 1: best-selling author, musician, multimedia storyteller, and United Nations award-winning artist,
- 0:41Speaker 1: Aaron has spent his life exploring how creativity can become
- 0:46Speaker 1: a force for both personal and planetary transformation. His work
- 0:52Speaker 1: has reached millions of young people in communities around the world,
- 0:56Speaker 1: bringing together education, ecology, music, storytelling, and social impact in
- 1:04Speaker 1: imaginative new ways. And perhaps what is most inspiring about
- 1:09Speaker 1: Aaron's work is the reminder that caring for ourselves, caring
- 1:15Speaker 1: for one another, and caring for the earth can all
- 1:19Speaker 1: be part of the same experience. Today, through Gaia's game,
- 1:24Speaker 1: he brings that philosophy into the world of play.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Please welcome Aaron Abelman.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:53Speaker 4: That's great.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Amazing.
- 1:54Speaker 6: You want another one?
- 1:55Speaker 7: You need a snap? Yeah, you can put that one there.
- 1:57Speaker 8: That sounds great.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Hello.
- 2:00Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 2:00Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 2:01Speaker 10: OK, that's got the reverb.
- 2:06Speaker 7: Oh, that's OK.
- 2:06Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 12: Let's just go right in there. But I'm going to
- 2:11Speaker 12: have to set it.
- 2:11Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 13: Just give me a second. Thank you.
- 3:18Speaker 7: Times Square, how y'all feeling? We still here? Let's see
- 3:24Speaker 7: if we can bring all of our presence, all of
- 3:27Speaker 7: our energy together as we celebrate the power of peace,
- 3:31Speaker 7: which is really just looking within. I'm going to do
- 3:35Speaker 7: my best to share some medicine with you all today.
- 3:39Speaker 7: It's an honor to be here. And thank you to
- 3:42Speaker 7: all the organizers and to all the ancestors and predecessors
- 3:45Speaker 7: of this land and to all the seven directions, north, south, west, up, down, within, east,
- 3:52Speaker 7: All the directions, all the directions, all the invisible, all
- 3:57Speaker 7: the energies. Isn't it amazing that 90-some percent of our
- 4:01Speaker 7: universe is invisible? That's wild. That's just amazing. So let's
- 4:05Speaker 7: not take ourselves too seriously and enjoy ourselves. What a
- 4:09Speaker 7: blessing to be here together as we get our technomology together,
- 4:14Speaker 7: you know? The original technology, T-E-K, traditional ecological knowledge. That's
- 4:19Speaker 7: what I'm about. How we doing?
- 4:21Speaker 9: Good.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Okay, okay, okay.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:50Speaker 7: It's a comedy. I told you it was a comedy.
- 4:52Speaker 7: He's taking it too seriously. You too. I think I
- 5:32Speaker 7: need a clap. Can we get a clap? Oh, I
- 5:36Speaker 7: meant with the rhythm. Let's get the rhythm. Ready?
- 5:39Speaker 12: Boom.
- 6:04Speaker 4: All right, all right, all right.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Let's get it going, sound man. Let's make some music.
- 6:38Speaker 7: Who out there likes original independent music? Hey, let's go. Yo,
- 6:45Speaker 7: this is your story from your head to your feet.
- 6:48Speaker 7: If you knew it's all a song, you'd rap to
- 6:50Speaker 7: the beat. Like 93, till infinity map in the streets.
- 6:53Speaker 7: Like a baby swigging on his dick. Suck on a tea,
- 6:55Speaker 7: it's a deep breath breathe. Life is a science based
- 6:58Speaker 7: on belief. Mind over matter, spirit is flesh. Cheese, pictures
- 7:02Speaker 7: of the present. Music weaponry, fighting the beast. This beast
- 7:05Speaker 7: of humanity grinding their teeth. Watching their own movie, fighting
- 7:09Speaker 7: for a seat. Paying for an obituary too late to read.
- 7:12Speaker 7: The blessing of life is like Carpe Diem to feel
- 7:14Speaker 7: the beat, beat, the beat, beat, the beat, beat, the beat, beat,
- 7:17Speaker 7: the beat, beat. Feel the light, feel the.
- 7:21Speaker 14: Light of your soul.
- 7:24Speaker 7: Times Square, how you feeling?
- 7:26Speaker 13: Hey!
- 7:29Speaker 7: All right, we're going to experiment today with some interaction.
- 7:33Speaker 7: Who likes interactivity? Actually, these folks out here, I think
- 7:38Speaker 7: we need to come in a little bit closer. I
- 7:41Speaker 7: want you all to try and experiment with me, okay?
- 7:45Speaker 7: Let's close our eyes. Close our eyes. Actually, if you
- 7:49Speaker 7: don't feel comfortable closing your eyes, just give yourself a hug.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Give yourself a hug. I see like three people giving
- 7:57Speaker 7: yourself a hug. Is it that hard, self-love? You can't
- 8:02Speaker 7: love another if you don't love yourself. So give yourself
- 8:04Speaker 7: a hug, and I want you to envision in the
- 8:07Speaker 7: midst of all this chaos that there is a ball
- 8:11Speaker 7: of light that that is untouched, as bright and as
- 8:14Speaker 7: brilliant as the sun, as the universe itself, right in
- 8:18Speaker 7: your heart. Envision that ball of light. You see it? Okay,
- 8:25Speaker 7: so with that ball of light, I want you to
- 8:28Speaker 7: invigorate that light and bring it forward. You are made
- 8:34Speaker 7: of light. Facts to fables, what you think you've become. Hey,
- 8:43Speaker 7: cats to Kratos, crochet truth and knit it, yeah. Head tomatoes,
- 8:50Speaker 7: if you blink, you're dreaming. Let your halo down, and
- 8:56Speaker 7: the angels win the pennant. Yo, bet on yourself. Don't
- 9:00Speaker 7: sweat the lemons. Let the games begin. Go independent. Let
- 9:04Speaker 7: the flames throw rain down into dependence. Like when kiddin'
- 9:07Speaker 7: play dance, they listen. Yeah, all the way back to
- 9:10Speaker 7: the bush indigenous. Tracks in the sand records come bear witness.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Act one needs five. Even God needs deviance. Ignorance means wisdom.
- 9:21Speaker 7: Free souls amazement. Math relates it. Art makes its greatness.
- 9:27Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 7: Apps can't rebuild the spider's web to patience. I'll take
- 9:32Speaker 7: analog over organic.
- 9:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 9:36Speaker 7: I'll take soup and bowls with the Buddha over Super
- 9:39Speaker 7: Bowl crazy. Come on, Buddha. If I told you you're
- 9:44Speaker 7: the gamer and the rules. Would you really be the
- 9:47Speaker 7: gamer and the rules? Would you really be the gamer
- 9:50Speaker 7: and the rules? None of us sing, we just ride
- 9:53Speaker 7: in the waves. None of us sing, we're just riding
- 9:58Speaker 7: the waves. Yo, are you too cool in the back?
- 10:03Speaker 7: Raise your arms up. Give yourself a hug. Give yourself
- 10:07Speaker 7: a hug right now. Let's go. I see you. None
- 10:12Speaker 7: of us sing, we're just riding the waves. None of
- 10:17Speaker 7: us sing. We're just riding the waves.
- 10:22Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 7: We are the game and the rules. We are the field.
- 10:30Speaker 7: We are the quantum field creating a love vortex for
- 10:35Speaker 7: humanity right now. Who knows the world needs love? Put
- 10:39Speaker 7: your peace signs up. Put your arms up. I'm going
- 10:43Speaker 7: to need some crowd participation here. Okay. Okay. my friends
- 10:47Speaker 7: and family, my fellow beloved community. You know, that's what Dr.
- 10:51Speaker 7: King spoke of. So as we have this ball of
- 10:55Speaker 7: light in our hearts, can you remember that ball of
- 10:57Speaker 7: light in your heart? You remember that? Okay, so now
- 11:01Speaker 7: I want you to take that ball of light and
- 11:04Speaker 7: I want you to try this. Let's try it with
- 11:06Speaker 7: Winston's help. This is Winston Chang, amazing community organizer, beautiful
- 11:13Speaker 7: human being. Amazing poet. With Winston's help, I want us
- 11:18Speaker 7: to imagine let's bring that ball of light now down
- 11:21Speaker 7: to our feet as if it's like an actual ball, okay?
- 11:26Speaker 7: Can we try this together? Everybody, let's stand up if
- 11:30Speaker 7: you can. I want you to pass, find a friend,
- 11:34Speaker 7: find a friend, and let's pass a ball of light
- 11:37Speaker 7: to each other with your feet, with your hands. Can
- 11:40Speaker 7: you pass a ball of light? Just pass it around. Yeah,
- 11:45Speaker 7: however you want. Just pass it around. You know, we're
- 11:48Speaker 7: all connected. Yeah, just pass that light around. We are
- 11:56Speaker 7: all interconnected, whether we like it or not. Yeah, we're
- 12:01Speaker 7: on a circular planet. We're peanut butter jamming from city
- 12:04Speaker 7: to the hamlet. All brothers, sisters, Janet or Michael. Like
- 12:08Speaker 7: water or land, it's all related. Yeah, in the same
- 12:11Speaker 7: sand pit. So don't hate, don't panic, even though these
- 12:14Speaker 7: stages are dramatic. Don't say that we're damaged. One world,
- 12:18Speaker 7: praying like a mantis, connected like the internet. Yeah, connected
- 12:22Speaker 7: like a kin. cameras so candid a great ship that
- 12:25Speaker 7: we're captain in work song turned to a ballad hit
- 12:29Speaker 7: everybody's happiness imagine yo imagine imagine this all of us
- 12:37Speaker 7: coming together dissolving the boundaries Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 12:44Speaker 13: Whoa, whoa, whoa. We are all connected.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Yeah, we are all connected.
- 12:53Speaker 13: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 13:00Speaker 7: We are all connected. I think this is just such
- 13:05Speaker 7: an amazing, amazing blessing that we get to exist at all.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Have you ever just tuned into the miracle of existence?
- 13:13Speaker 7: It's such a blessing. All of our challenges, all of
- 13:16Speaker 7: our changes, the times that we don't do it the
- 13:20Speaker 7: way we thought we would, the mistakes, and the triumphs.
- 13:25Speaker 7: That's what life is about. It's been such a blessing
- 13:28Speaker 7: to be here with OM. And Origin, I want to
- 13:32Speaker 7: give another shout out. Ourorigin.earth, y'all need to check that out.
- 13:37Speaker 7: It's very important that we come together for resilience and
- 13:40Speaker 7: support our farmers and our soil. And before I go on,
- 13:46Speaker 7: we just have one more. Winston, how you feeling?
- 13:50Speaker 16: Good?
- 13:52Speaker 7: Oh yeah, check out the kites. All right, let's just
- 13:54Speaker 7: keep it going. Anybody that, any dancers out there? It's like,
- 14:02Speaker 7: all right, yeah. Freestyle, Times Square. It's a circle, yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 7: Shine up like a flare. Come through with the rhythm
- 14:13Speaker 7: and the lyric. Yeah, I make the spirit. Physical, it's
- 14:17Speaker 7: a mystical. Miracle, metaphysical. Come through, what's true? Ain't no
- 14:22Speaker 7: lie when I come through. No, I don't know. Don't try.
- 14:25Speaker 7: Come through when I keep it real. Yo, what's the deal?
- 14:29Speaker 7: I keep it moving and grooving. Keep it with the music.
- 14:32Speaker 7: Sometimes I get lost, but I'm never going to lose it.
- 14:35Speaker 7: I'm never going to lose this music. It's music. It's
- 14:38Speaker 7: the heartbeat. It's the way that our feet move.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 7: Keep it grooving. Keep it moving. It's a freestyle. Come on, children.
- 14:45Speaker 7: We all just children. We all just children. We all
- 14:48Speaker 7: just child. Earth is a mysterious ball. It really is,
- 14:54Speaker 7: isn't it? Play fair all the rest on the call.
- 15:01Speaker 7: How y'all feeling?
- 15:01Speaker 13: You good?
- 15:03Speaker 14: This is live.
- 15:04Speaker 7: We are live. We got to take care of what
- 15:10Speaker 7: cares for us all. The planet, the mother earth, the plants.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Win or lose, life is full circle. Earth is a
- 15:25Speaker 7: mysterious ball. Yeah. I love seeing people dance all the
- 15:32Speaker 7: way in the back. So as you envision that ball
- 15:42Speaker 7: of light that you started in your heart and then
- 15:44Speaker 7: you passed it to a friend, now all of a
- 15:48Speaker 7: sudden that ball of light is starting to get bigger, okay?
- 15:52Speaker 7: And it's like maybe morphing, alchemizing, becoming a part of
- 15:58Speaker 7: a larger... ball of light. I call it the glow ball,
- 16:03Speaker 7: the Gaia ball. Oh wait, that's a good idea. The
- 16:07Speaker 7: Gaia ball. Maybe I should do something with that. So
- 16:13Speaker 7: I want you all to imagine this incredible ball that
- 16:16Speaker 7: we're on, this planet, okay? And as you're envisioning and
- 16:21Speaker 7: connecting to the planet Earth itself, what is yours to
- 16:26Speaker 7: give What is yours to give, dear audience, dear community members?
- 16:33Speaker 7: Is it getting out the vote? Is it starting a
- 16:36Speaker 7: community garden? Is it dedicating yourself to a meditation practice?
- 16:43Speaker 7: Is it not reacting but responding when somebody triggers you?
- 16:48Speaker 7: Is it being a better parent? What is your medicine?
- 16:52Speaker 7: What's your gift right now? Because at the end of
- 16:54Speaker 7: the day, you know, life is so short. And at
- 16:58Speaker 7: the end of the day, it's not really how much
- 17:00Speaker 7: we got, how much fame or money or whatever. It's
- 17:04Speaker 7: how much we gave, right? That's what all the wise
- 17:06Speaker 7: people say. So I really want to impress on you
- 17:10Speaker 7: this sacred moment and this sacred opportunity for all of
- 17:15Speaker 7: us to be great givers, to be in the company
- 17:18Speaker 7: of givers. So please do check out. There's a couple
- 17:21Speaker 7: of opportunities to give. October 17th, Our Origin. The Origin launch,
- 17:31Speaker 7: where people all over the world are going to be
- 17:33Speaker 7: planting a seed and connecting in prayer and dancing and
- 17:37Speaker 7: sharing in their local bioregion, their local place, to make
- 17:41Speaker 7: it a better place. And following that, we have one
- 17:45Speaker 7: of our representatives from the Frequency School, Kingsley, on 11.11.
- 17:51Speaker 7: We're actually going to be activating globally. It's a new
- 17:55Speaker 7: United Nations Day. called World Frequency Day, and I just
- 18:03Speaker 7: wanted to give that shout out, because it's so important
- 18:06Speaker 7: that we uplift all the solutionaries right now. There's a
- 18:09Speaker 7: lot of us doing good work, and we often don't
- 18:11Speaker 7: get these platforms to elevate and amplify. You want to say,
- 18:18Speaker 7: we got to, you want to come out for 20 seconds? Yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 7: we have time. 20 seconds, yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Give it up.
- 18:28Speaker 17: Hello everyone, hello everyone.
- 18:30Speaker 13: I'm Kingsley.
- 18:32Speaker 17: I'm a grateful human being and I'm a co-founder of
- 18:35Speaker 17: the Frequency School. Thank you for Aaron and thank you
- 18:38Speaker 17: for all of the organizers. On 11-11, we're having World
- 18:43Speaker 17: Frequency Day in London and it's a fundraising initiative for
- 18:47Speaker 17: the Frequency School. The Frequency School is a organization that
- 18:52Speaker 17: pours into the youth, specifically with music and wellness. So
- 18:57Speaker 17: we're gonna be I'm doing our annual fundraising event in
- 19:01Speaker 17: London called World Frequency Day. So thank you, Erin, for
- 19:07Speaker 17: inviting me up here with my daughter as well. We're
- 19:13Speaker 17: all about music and wellness and providing the youth with
- 19:17Speaker 17: practical tools that they can help regulate their nervous system.
- 19:22Speaker 17: Thank you, Aaron, for providing this opportunity. Please tune in
- 19:25Speaker 17: to frequency.school. World Frequency Day is on 11-11. Thank you, Aaron.
- 19:32Speaker 17: Really appreciate it.
- 19:34Speaker 12: Thank you, everyone.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Thank you all so much. It's been a blessing to
- 19:38Speaker 7: be here. If you want to tune in to more
- 19:40Speaker 7: of my work, you can check out GaiusGame.com, the world's
- 19:44Speaker 7: first plastic-free compostable soccer ball and story where we're empowering
- 19:48Speaker 7: young people through sport and culture and consciousness. And it's
- 19:52Speaker 7: such an honor to be here. Thank you again.
- 19:54Speaker 18: One love.
- 19:55Speaker 7: Peace.
- 19:57Speaker 13: Thank you, Aaron.
- 20:02Speaker 1: What does it mean to consciously choose peace, not only
- 20:07Speaker 1: within ourselves, but within the places that we call home.
- 20:13Speaker 1: To learn from what has been, while choosing peace as
- 20:17Speaker 1: the guiding force for what comes next. This is part
- 20:21Speaker 1: of the story Alenka Slavonic brings us from Slovenia, a
- 20:26Speaker 1: young nation with ancient roots, where heritage, nature, and commitment
- 20:32Speaker 1: to peace are closely woven together. Alenka's own life and
- 20:38Speaker 1: work reflect that same journey, an exploration of what it
- 20:42Speaker 1: means to come more fully into presence and peace within.
- 20:47Speaker 1: An internationally recognized visual artist, filmmaker, and conscious researcher, she
- 20:54Speaker 1: has spent more than two decades exploring human dignity, identity,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and our relationship with the nature through art. Her work
- 21:04Speaker 1: bridges the seen and unseen inviting us to become more
- 21:08Speaker 1: fully present. Officially recognized by Slovenia's Ministry of Culture, her
- 21:14Speaker 1: work has developed through collaborations with some of the country's
- 21:18Speaker 1: most treasured institutions, including the Ljubljana Festival, her longstanding role
- 21:27Speaker 1: as a Lempi Sarnor Ambassador, and the Monument of Peace
- 21:32Speaker 1: at Serhe. Through Alenka and Slovenia, we are invited to
- 21:38Speaker 1: consider what the same conscious choice might look like in
- 21:41Speaker 1: our own lives, in our communities, and in the world
- 21:45Speaker 1: we're creating together. Please welcome Alenka Slavonek.
- 21:59Speaker 13: Hi.
- 22:03Speaker 14: Hello, Times Square. Have you ever heard that?
- 22:22Speaker 6: This is the sound of the celebration from Slovenia, but
- 22:27Speaker 6: on the day that we celebrate independence from Yugoslavia, I
- 22:32Speaker 6: was 14 years, and the next day they declared the war.
- 22:37Speaker 6: And that moment frozen my inner child that I'm going
- 22:41Speaker 6: to share now with you. So this become like a
- 22:45Speaker 6: work cry in the way, but today is a day
- 22:48Speaker 6: of peace. And here in Times Square, I went, the
- 22:54Speaker 6: first time I was driving the bike like completely free
- 22:57Speaker 6: and sing the song from Jimi Hendrix, cross the traffic.
- 23:00Speaker 14: To get to you. I had somebody else in.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Mind to get to you, but now today I know
- 23:05Speaker 6: that you was me.
- 23:09Speaker 14: Is this going? Sorry, it's supposed to be a video behind,
- 23:15Speaker 14: but it's okay. Slovenia is our home.
- 23:20Speaker 19: A land of magic beauty where different landscapes, cultures, and
- 23:25Speaker 19: histories meet. We are a young country with ancient roots.
- 23:32Speaker 19: Our land was shaped by conflict, and perhaps that is
- 23:36Speaker 19: why peace feels so intentional here at Tyria. The monument
- 23:42Speaker 19: of peace, which rises from land that carries this history,
- 23:47Speaker 19: it asks us to remember the past while turning our
- 23:52Speaker 19: attention toward a view into the future. For centuries, before
- 23:58Speaker 19: Slovenia became an independent nation, our Slovenian language held our
- 24:03Speaker 19: identity and our people together.
- 24:07Speaker 6: Even today, I'm standing here like a human.
- 24:12Speaker 19: That spirit lives in our national anthem, which imagines a
- 24:16Speaker 19: world where all people are free and nations live as neighbors,
- 24:23Speaker 19: not enemies. That spirit also lives in our relationship with nature.
- 24:28Speaker 19: We protect the right to drinking water in our constitution,
- 24:33Speaker 19: Slovenia's vision gave rise to World Bee Day, honoring the
- 24:37Speaker 19: smallest beings that sustain us all. And at Lipica, the
- 24:42Speaker 19: Lipicaners have carried our living heritage since 5080. They reflect
- 24:48Speaker 19: qualities we recognize in our people. Dignity, determination, freedom, love
- 24:56Speaker 19: and peace. These are not separate stories. Together, they reveal
- 25:02Speaker 19: a country learning from its past while consciously creating its future.
- 25:09Speaker 19: As a Slovenian artist born in the oldest city, Ptuj,
- 25:14Speaker 19: carrier of the secret ashes of eight fires of peace,
- 25:18Speaker 19: I believe art helps us make the journey. It carries
- 25:23Speaker 19: memory forward, builds bridges, and allows us to imagine peace
- 25:29Speaker 19: before it exists. Because every more peaceful future begins with
- 25:36Speaker 19: what we chose to create within ourselves. Peace truly, but
- 25:42Speaker 19: truly starts within.
- 26:01Speaker 14: It's supposed to be another video.
- 26:06Speaker 11: Hello, everybody. Did you hear me before? Sometimes we are
- 26:09Speaker 11: loud and we don't hear each other. Maybe it's time
- 26:12Speaker 11: to be peaceful and hear what is inside. So this
- 26:17Speaker 11: is supposed to be a cry, but I'm already on
- 26:20Speaker 11: the stage, so I will improvise for you.
- 26:23Speaker 5: Where is my.
- 26:37Speaker 7: Michelle.
- 26:43Speaker 14: Do you hear the horses or do you feel them?
- 26:46Speaker 14: Should I do one more time?
- 26:48Speaker 12: Okay.
- 26:55Speaker 6: So these are Lipitsaner horses, the white horses from Slovenia,
- 26:58Speaker 6: and they bring freedom, the feeling of freedom since long time.
- 27:11Speaker 12: Okay.
- 27:12Speaker 14: Okay, now we are back.
- 27:13Speaker 6: So, this is a picture of Ljubljana presenting year 1992,
- 27:21Speaker 6: Slovenia in us, love in us in the title.
- 27:24Speaker 14: And if I go back to the moment.
- 27:26Speaker 6: When I was frozen, that was the time I didn't
- 27:28Speaker 6: understand why we have to suddenly put the identity that
- 27:33Speaker 6: I was raised on and being just another day the
- 27:35Speaker 6: war and the next 10 days was freedom again. But inside,
- 27:41Speaker 6: we are talking of peace inside. What brings the peace
- 27:44Speaker 6: inside is.
- 27:49Speaker 14: It's not working. Okay.
- 27:54Speaker 6: So we have the man who lived 108 years. He lived,
- 27:59Speaker 6: but he was in Nazi camps, and he was a writer,
- 28:03Speaker 6: Boris Pacho. And a very big gratitude and privilege to
- 28:08Speaker 6: met him when he was Oh, you just passed the swing.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Okay.
- 28:17Speaker 14: That's him. So look at this man.
- 28:19Speaker 6: He is presenting that inner child that never died. He
- 28:24Speaker 6: saw the sorrows of the war cries, and he told me,
- 28:29Speaker 6: never forget what you're carrying inside, the human.
- 28:32Speaker 14: And that's how we connect.
- 28:34Speaker 6: So our life is between the swing of life and death.
- 28:39Speaker 6: And we should never forget that. So he chose life.
- 28:42Speaker 6: In today's world, we should choose peace and love.
- 28:52Speaker 12: Okay.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Here, we see him laughing. And he asked me if
- 28:59Speaker 6: I speak French. And I said, no, I only kiss French.
- 29:03Speaker 6: And he started laughing. And he remembered his childhood, his childhood.
- 29:09Speaker 6: his love, and he told me, you should never forget
- 29:12Speaker 6: a love. The love is what makes me survive in
- 29:18Speaker 6: those times. I never put the glasses of love down.
- 29:27Speaker 14: And why I'm here? I'm here as an artist, and.
- 29:32Speaker 6: Art basically brought me back to this beautiful heart that's
- 29:37Speaker 6: open today.
- 29:38Speaker 14: Also with you all.
- 29:40Speaker 6: To be able to stand here in Times Square where
- 29:43Speaker 6: the times is basically a time and where we should
- 29:46Speaker 6: forget the time because life is timeless with the soul
- 29:51Speaker 6: and he transformed every sorrow that he always been in
- 29:55Speaker 6: the in the in the heart hear all.
- 29:59Speaker 14: This and put it in the books.
- 30:02Speaker 6: On the Monument of Peace, where we were in the
- 30:04Speaker 6: video you saw, next weekend we're going to exhibit this
- 30:09Speaker 6: exhibition called 108 in his honor and also the view
- 30:16Speaker 6: into the future is the title of the Monument of Peace.
- 30:20Speaker 6: So I invite you all that you look into the
- 30:24Speaker 6: future Can you imagine what the previous generations imagined for us? Okay,
- 30:38Speaker 6: you see the generations between? And I think that's the
- 30:42Speaker 6: message of love. It's a message of between generations when
- 30:46Speaker 6: only soul speaks and your love. I will bring you
- 30:50Speaker 6: to that inner peace with the song Cilliam.
- 30:53Speaker 14: It's a cosmic.
- 30:55Speaker 6: Name that was given to me in Ibiza after 21
- 30:58Speaker 6: days on the cave, meditating in sunrise to the sunset
- 31:03Speaker 6: and sleeping in the olive tree for four nights. It
- 31:07Speaker 6: is experience of nature when it's calling back. It's a
- 31:10Speaker 6: nature that gives you back what you forgot. And I
- 31:16Speaker 6: invite you now into that moment of silence and to
- 31:22Speaker 6: feel what you might remember, that you are human. And
- 31:25Speaker 6: I came as a human. I'm sorry for not to
- 31:28Speaker 6: have a perfect one.
- 31:32Speaker 7: Okay.
- 32:01Speaker 16: See.
- 32:02Speaker 5: See.
- 32:23Speaker 13: See I am See I am See I am See
- 32:51Speaker 13: I am See I.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Am See.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Imagine that you are standing on the seventh floor of
- 33:41Speaker 6: the Monument to Peace in Slovenia, where you.
- 33:44Speaker 14: Are all invited.
- 33:45Speaker 6: You're just on the border. Imagine a border between Slovenia
- 33:50Speaker 6: and Italy. Become a bird with a left and right
- 33:54Speaker 6: wing because otherwise you can't fly.
- 33:57Speaker 14: Let's go beyond with that peace in the heart. Thank you, home.
- 34:01Speaker 14: Thank you, Times Square. And let's have fun.
- 34:04Speaker 6: I love you all.
- 34:07Speaker 13: Thank you.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Thank you, Elenka.
- 34:22Speaker 1: When an intention of peace is held within one human
- 34:25Speaker 1: being and is shared by thousands of people around the world,
- 34:30Speaker 1: it can become a collective force.
- 34:33Speaker 2: This is the spirit.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Behind Love, Peace, Harmony Foundation, a global humanitarian organization founded
- 34:42Speaker 1: by the world-renowned healer and humanitarian, doctor and master, Ji
- 34:48Speaker 1: Gong Sha.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Through a growing global.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Community and initiatives around the world, their work is rooted
- 34:57Speaker 1: in a simple vision, to help create a world of
- 35:01Speaker 1: greater love.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Peace, and harmony for all.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Here to share that vision with us are Richard Rogers,
- 35:10Speaker 1: Executive Director of the Love, Peace, Harmony Foundation, and Alexia Sito,
- 35:16Speaker 1: assistant director, and global spokesperson for Dr.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And Master Shah.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Around the world, there is a call for change.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Communities are in need.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Our planet is under increasing pressure and in a world
- 35:38Speaker 4: facing profound challenges. We believe there is another way forward.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Love Peace Harmony. Love, Peace, Harmony Foundation is more than
- 35:50Speaker 4: an organization. It is a global movement for positive change.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Founded by world-renowned healer and humanitarian, Dr. and Master Ji
- 36:00Speaker 4: Gang Sha. Our foundation is guided by three powerful pillars.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Nurture yourself, support others, and heal the planet. But the
- 36:12Speaker 4: world we dream of cannot be created by one person
- 36:16Speaker 4: or one organization.
- 36:18Speaker 2: It takes all of us.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Hi, everybody.
- 36:25Speaker 8: My name is Richard Rogers. I'm the executive director.
- 36:28Speaker 20: I'm Alexia Sito, the assistant director.
- 36:31Speaker 8: And we represent the Love Peace Harmony Foundation. Each and
- 36:40Speaker 8: every one of us have the power to create change.
- 36:44Speaker 8: change in our lives, for ourselves, for one another, and
- 36:50Speaker 8: for the planet.
- 36:51Speaker 20: Let's create greater love, peace, and harmony for everyone, everywhere.
- 36:58Speaker 8: With volunteers in 40 countries around the world, we take
- 37:03Speaker 8: compassion and put it into positive action, supporting people, supporting communities,
- 37:10Speaker 8: and supporting the environment.
- 37:13Speaker 20: We have a song that was received by our founder, doctor,
- 37:16Speaker 20: and master, Zhigong Sha, called the Love, Peace, and Harmony Song.
- 37:21Speaker 20: And it's to uplift the frequency and vibration of humanity
- 37:26Speaker 20: and Mother Earth. The lyrics are, I love my heart
- 37:31Speaker 20: and soul.
- 37:32Speaker 8: I love all humanity.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Join hearts and souls together.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Love, peace, and harmony.
- 37:42Speaker 18: Love, peace, and harmony.
- 37:47Speaker 8: And now, we invite each and every one of you
- 37:50Speaker 8: to lend your voice to positive change. And all the
- 37:56Speaker 8: way from Toronto.
- 37:59Speaker 12: Times Square, are you ready?
- 38:03Speaker 21: Make some noise!
- 38:06Speaker 8: For the ancient youth!
- 38:19Speaker 22: Hello, we are the ancient youth.
- 38:33Speaker 14: Can you hear me okay?
- 38:35Speaker 15: Awesome.
- 38:37Speaker 14: We are the ancient youth.
- 38:39Speaker 15: We're going to be singing an original called Remember. It's
- 38:43Speaker 15: about reconnecting to our ancestors, to walking with truth and integrity.
- 38:52Speaker 15: And it will be followed by the Love, Peace, Harmony song.
- 39:06Speaker 10: Hello.
- 39:11Speaker 14: Hello.
- 39:12Speaker 22: Could we get a little more leveling, more volume in
- 39:14Speaker 22: my mic?
- 39:15Speaker 14: Just a little more in my mic, please. Could I
- 39:20Speaker 14: have this one be a little louder, maybe in the monitor?
- 39:33Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 39:34Speaker 18: Hello.
- 39:35Speaker 13: Thank you.
- 39:36Speaker 10: Thank you.

- 40:10Speaker 3: Ancestors With childhood, the moon.
- 40:19Speaker 10: Rose We're chasing.
- 40:23Speaker 23: Paths and paths and lands we won't let go.
- 40:27Speaker 13: Remember, rivers that flow. Currents taking us back home to.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Discover our glow. Come back to love. Come back to love.
- 40:51Speaker 18: Feel free to sing with us.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Come back to love. Come back to love. Come back
- 41:02Speaker 3: to love. Come back to love. Come back to love.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Come back to love. And I Shine, shine your light.
- 41:24Speaker 13: You can shine, shine, shine your light.
- 41:32Speaker 24: Safe to shine, shine, shine your light. You can shine, shine,
- 41:43Speaker 24: shine your light.
- 41:48Speaker 13: Remember the wings you have Hiding beneath the shields.
- 41:59Speaker 3: You built on your back.
- 42:04Speaker 10: Remember you are.
- 42:08Speaker 13: Safe Remember the child that lives.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Inside can come out to play.
- 42:19Speaker 13: Remember coming back home, finding your family from lifetimes ago.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Come back to love. Come back to love. Come back
- 42:43Speaker 3: to love.
- 42:45Speaker 13: Come back to love. Come back to love, come back
- 42:54Speaker 13: to love.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Come back to.
- 42:59Speaker 13: Love, come back to love.
- 43:05Speaker 25: Turning back the time when we were one under the
- 43:08Speaker 25: sun dancing together. We remember, ah, taking back the nights
- 43:14Speaker 25: when we were all around the fire singing together. We remember, ah,
- 43:21Speaker 25: turning back the time when we were one under the
- 43:24Speaker 25: sun dancing together. We remember, ah, taking back the nights
- 43:30Speaker 25: when we were all around the fire singing together.
- 43:34Speaker 23: We remember, ah, coming back to life. We remember I
- 43:45Speaker 23: loved my heart and soul.
- 44:12Speaker 13: I love all humanity. Join hearts and souls together.
- 44:20Speaker 10: Love, peace, and harmony. La, la, la, li, la, lu.
- 44:28Speaker 13: Lu, la, ha, lu, la, la, li. Lu, la, ha, lu, la, li, lu, la.

- 44:44Speaker 13: All humanity Join hearts and souls together.
- 44:50Speaker 21: Of peace and.

- 45:09Speaker 27: I love my heart and soul. I love all humanity.
- 45:17Speaker 27: Join hearts and souls together.
- 45:21Speaker 13: Love, peace, and harmony.
- 45:24Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 45:26Speaker 18: Thank you. We are the ancient youth. Thank you so much, Om.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Happy World Peace Day.
- 45:37Speaker 14: Thank you, Love Peace Harmony.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Absolutely beautiful.
- 45:46Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Thank you, ancient youth. Thank you, Love Peace Harmony. Now,
- 45:53Speaker 1: as we move into this final segment of our gathering,
- 45:56Speaker 1: we begin a more immersive and interactive journey together.
- 46:01Speaker 2: A journey through sound, frequency, meditation.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Ritual, and music, each offering us another doorway into our
- 46:13Speaker 1: own inner experience and into the experience we are.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Creating here together.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Sound has been part of human ritual for thousands of years.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Across cultures and traditions, we have used the voice, the drum,
- 46:31Speaker 1: the bell, mantra, and music itself to shift our state,
- 46:38Speaker 1: focus our attention, and bring us into presence, and mostly
- 46:43Speaker 1: connect us with something beyond ourselves. Modern science and technology
- 46:49Speaker 1: are now giving us new ways to explore what ancient
- 46:52Speaker 1: traditions have understood for a long time. Sound can profoundly
- 46:57Speaker 1: influence our state of consciousness. One of the organizations at
- 47:03Speaker 1: the forefront of that exploration is the Monroe Institute. For
- 47:08Speaker 1: more than five decades, the Monroe Institute has been exploring
- 47:12Speaker 1: human consciousness and the ways sound can support different expanded
- 47:17Speaker 1: states of awareness. Founded by Robert Monroe, their pioneering work
- 47:23Speaker 1: has evolved into what is known today as Moreau Sound Science.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Sophisticated sound technologies that include brainwave entrainment and are designed
- 47:35Speaker 1: to support the exploration of consciousness.
- 47:39Speaker 2: For our gathering here.
- 47:41Speaker 1: In Times Square, the Monroe Institute has worked closely with
- 47:47Speaker 1: us to curate the immersive sound experience that will unfold
- 47:51Speaker 1: through this final segment, bringing decades of research and exploration
- 47:56Speaker 1: in sound and consciousness right here in the heart of
- 48:00Speaker 1: Times Square. And here to guide us into that experience
- 48:05Speaker 1: is Kaz Coronel, a music producer, composer, DJ, teacher, and
- 48:15Speaker 1: explorer of consciousness whose life and work are devoted to
- 48:20Speaker 1: exploring states of beauty, awe, transcendence, and joy. Her journey
- 48:28Speaker 1: has taken her around the world, drawn to sacred sites,
- 48:32Speaker 1: and places of extraordinary natural beauty, always with a curiosity
- 48:38Speaker 1: that moves between the scientific and the spiritual. It is
- 48:43Speaker 1: from this place that Kaz creates. She describes her process
- 48:49Speaker 1: as coming from three places, the gut, the heart, and
- 48:56Speaker 1: the head. Intuition to guide her, feeling to inform the sound,
- 49:02Speaker 1: and science to give it form. Through brainwave entrainment, spatial audio,
- 49:09Speaker 1: and immersive sound, she creates experiences that invite us to
- 49:13Speaker 1: explore different states of awareness.
- 49:16Speaker 7: It is this.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Unique meeting of music, science, and consciousness that has brought
- 49:22Speaker 1: her into collaboration with pioneering organizations such as the Monroe Institute, HeartMath,
- 49:29Speaker 1: and Syntropy. Kaz's work invites us to become explorers of
- 49:34Speaker 1: our own consciousness, to listen deeply, to remain curious, and
- 49:41Speaker 1: to discover what may become available to us when we
- 49:45Speaker 1: enter more fully into the experience of the present moment.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Please welcome Kaz Korenen.
- 49:58Speaker 12: Hello. Thank you so much for that beautiful and long
- 50:04Speaker 12: introduction that I really needed.
- 50:08Speaker 7: Hi, good to see you all.
- 50:12Speaker 12: So today I'm going to be talking about brain entrainment
- 50:16Speaker 12: from the Monroe Institute and about how and why I
- 50:19Speaker 12: make music. So as Jayma said, I make music at
- 50:24Speaker 12: sacred sites. I have been doing that for many years.
- 50:29Speaker 12: And I do that because it brings me awe and
- 50:31Speaker 12: peace and presence and I get into the right state
- 50:34Speaker 12: of mind to be able to create there. But I
- 50:39Speaker 12: didn't always do that. Before that, I was a DJ.
- 50:42Speaker 12: I still DJ a bit, but very kind of commercial DJ,
- 50:45Speaker 12: making different kinds of music. And I wasn't purpose-driven in
- 50:51Speaker 12: the way that I am now. So it wasn't until
- 50:55Speaker 12: I got invited to the Monroe Institute that everything turned
- 50:58Speaker 12: around for me and it took my life in a
- 51:00Speaker 12: completely different direction. So, thank you.
- 51:05Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 51:06Speaker 12: Ah, yeah, these are some sacred sites, some places that
- 51:09Speaker 12: I've been to, some really magical places and scary places.
- 51:13Speaker 12: That ladder was 30 foot long. It's terrified of heights
- 51:17Speaker 12: under the pyramid. Anyway, this is the Monroe Institute. So
- 51:22Speaker 12: the Monroe Institute was started by this gentleman here, Bob Monroe.
- 51:27Speaker 12: And it was about 60 years ago. He started having,
- 51:31Speaker 12: maybe 70 years ago now, he started having spontaneous out-of-body experiences,
- 51:36Speaker 12: and he did not know what was going on. But
- 51:39Speaker 12: he's a wealthy man. He was a TV producer and
- 51:43Speaker 12: a radio producer. He had a lot of money, so
- 51:45Speaker 12: he wanted to investigate it. And at the time, I
- 51:50Speaker 12: think he was investigating how to learn using sound technology.
- 51:56Speaker 12: So he had come up with this way of... learning
- 51:59Speaker 12: in your sleep, basically, through sound. So he was kind
- 52:02Speaker 12: of already delving in that. But in order to understand
- 52:05Speaker 12: what was going on with his out-of-body experiences, he needed
- 52:09Speaker 12: to get some scientists in, and they needed a way
- 52:12Speaker 12: of having them, because otherwise, how could they test what
- 52:14Speaker 12: was going on? And they came up with this technology
- 52:18Speaker 12: called binaural, which some of you might have heard of.
- 52:22Speaker 12: Has anyone heard of that? There's a few people. Well,
- 52:25Speaker 12: I'm going to tell you about it in a minute.
- 52:28Speaker 12: We'll get to that. No, I'm back.
- 52:31Speaker 7: No, other way.
- 52:32Speaker 12: Thank you. So this is how it started. I got
- 52:35Speaker 12: invited to do a course there called Creation Station. They
- 52:40Speaker 12: were just trialing it. And whilst I was there... Oh,
- 52:45Speaker 12: so they use these sound technologies in their courses. This
- 52:48Speaker 12: is like now 70 years later. They discovered that this
- 52:52Speaker 12: audio technology could be used not just for going out
- 52:54Speaker 12: of body, but basically for putting the brain in any state...
- 52:59Speaker 12: to do anything you might want to do. Not like
- 53:02Speaker 12: in a mind control way, but a way of like
- 53:05Speaker 12: gently moving the brain into the optimum state for various things.
- 53:10Speaker 12: So I got invited to trial this course that was
- 53:13Speaker 12: to help creativity. And whilst I was there, this chap here,
- 53:18Speaker 12: like every person on this page is called Bob. I
- 53:23Speaker 12: don't know why Bob seemed to be attracted to this place,
- 53:26Speaker 12: but this guy here, we're going to call him Robert,
- 53:29Speaker 12: the tall guy, he asked me, kind of as a joke,
- 53:33Speaker 12: if I could make him a track that would put
- 53:34Speaker 12: him in an enlightened state. And I said, well, that's
- 53:39Speaker 12: a very big ask, but, you know, I'll think about it.
- 53:44Speaker 12: So I went to do the meditations there. That's what
- 53:47Speaker 12: they have. They have lots of meditations and you listen
- 53:49Speaker 12: to these audio frequencies and they put you in the
- 53:51Speaker 12: right state. In this particular one, there was no music,
- 53:55Speaker 12: just tones. We're going to have a listen to a
- 53:56Speaker 12: tone soon. And whilst I was there, this piece of
- 54:00Speaker 12: music dropped into my consciousness and I came out and
- 54:03Speaker 12: I said, Robert, I know how to make your piece
- 54:06Speaker 12: of music. So he said, whatever you need to make it,
- 54:10Speaker 12: just do it. So I started making it. It had
- 54:14Speaker 12: some singing in and I thought, oh, I'll record this later.
- 54:17Speaker 12: But I did maybe like 70% of it.
- 54:21Speaker 7: I left.
- 54:23Speaker 12: About a year later, a year and a half later,
- 54:26Speaker 12: I still hadn't finished it. So I sent it back
- 54:28Speaker 12: to this guy called Bob. And I said, can you
- 54:30Speaker 12: put some of these Monroe frequencies in there? And he
- 54:34Speaker 12: did that. And I was hoping he'd send it back
- 54:36Speaker 12: to me, but what he didn't tell me is that
- 54:38Speaker 12: he played it to a workshop when it wasn't even finished.
- 54:42Speaker 12: I hadn't even finished re-recording the vocals. But whilst that happened,
- 54:48Speaker 12: this lady had this spiritual experience that so fundamentally changed
- 54:52Speaker 12: her life that she told me that it helped 2,000 people.
- 54:56Speaker 12: I'll show you that in a minute. And she just
- 54:59Speaker 12: happened to have my phone number. I don't have enough
- 55:03Speaker 12: time to tell you the story, but it was a
- 55:04Speaker 12: mad coincidence. She'd asked, who made this piece of music?
- 55:07Speaker 12: And he had said, it's this person called Kaz. So
- 55:10Speaker 12: I was in Nepal, climbing up a mountain at the time,
- 55:14Speaker 12: and I got this text message from her. One more thing,
- 55:20Speaker 12: when you help me, and you did, I get to
- 55:22Speaker 12: help around 2,000 people. Have you ever heard the saying
- 55:25Speaker 12: that one person makes a difference? You made a difference.
- 55:29Speaker 12: I couldn't believe it right because I was climbing this
- 55:31Speaker 12: mountain and I was talking to my partner at the time.
- 55:34Speaker 12: And literally as this message came in, I was saying,
- 55:37Speaker 12: it's so frustrating making music. Like you put it out
- 55:40Speaker 12: there and maybe one person hears it. You know, it's
- 55:43Speaker 12: very hard to like get it out there. But when
- 55:46Speaker 12: I read that, I was like, wow, you know, a
- 55:48Speaker 12: piece of music could affect one person and have that
- 55:50Speaker 12: much of an effect. Like that's worth it. Anyway, I
- 55:54Speaker 12: later listened to her voice messages and she said, you
- 55:58Speaker 12: changed my life so much with this piece of music.
- 56:01Speaker 12: She said, when I was listening to it, something popped
- 56:03Speaker 12: and it just like, she had this experience. She said
- 56:07Speaker 12: that I want to pay for you and your partner
- 56:09Speaker 12: to come and do the Gateway Experience, which is Monroe's proprietary,
- 56:16Speaker 12: the first course that you do there, you know, before
- 56:18Speaker 12: you go further in all their other courses. That was
- 56:21Speaker 12: like 6,000 pounds worth of course, you know, I couldn't
- 56:25Speaker 12: believe it. And she only knew I had a partner
- 56:28Speaker 12: because I sent her that photo. And immediately she said,
- 56:31Speaker 12: I want you both to go because it will be
- 56:32Speaker 12: more of a profound experience if you both do that.
- 56:37Speaker 12: And so I went there and I learned about their technology.
- 56:40Speaker 12: And her and her partner, Craig and Sheila, they said,
- 56:44Speaker 12: not just this one course. For the rest of your life,
- 56:47Speaker 12: we will support you. We want you to learn everything
- 56:49Speaker 12: you can about this technology because it changes lives. And
- 56:53Speaker 12: we want to support you to make music like this.
- 56:56Speaker 12: And that's what they did. And so after that, I
- 56:58Speaker 12: was like, wow, okay, this is what I'm going to
- 57:01Speaker 12: do now. So, next one, please. That's the track, in
- 57:07Speaker 12: case you're curious. I'm not going to play it today
- 57:09Speaker 12: because I don't have time, but that is the track.
- 57:12Speaker 12: Next one, please. So, yeah, I got on a mission then.
- 57:15Speaker 12: I'm like, I'm going to make more music like this.
- 57:17Speaker 12: How do I do it? You know, what was it
- 57:22Speaker 12: in there that made this difference? And I think all
- 57:25Speaker 12: music expands consciousness, but I think anything that moves you
- 57:32Speaker 12: expands consciousness. So that was part of it. Music facilitates presence.
- 57:37Speaker 12: I wanted to make things that enhanced well-being, inspired others,
- 57:41Speaker 12: sounded good, hopefully, and was enjoyable, and opened up positive
- 57:44Speaker 12: conversations like this. and put more love in the world.
- 57:48Speaker 12: I thought, if I could just inject all this love
- 57:50Speaker 12: into the music I'm making, hopefully people on the other
- 57:53Speaker 12: side who are hearing it will feel it. So I
- 58:00Speaker 12: was like, how did this happen?
- 58:02Speaker 7: What were the ingredients?
- 58:04Speaker 12: And in the Monroe Institute, it's on a mountain that's
- 58:07Speaker 12: full of crystals underneath. I really felt like the energy there,
- 58:11Speaker 12: it was amazing. I felt definitely in presence and awe.
- 58:14Speaker 12: I had a positive intention. I wasn't attached to the
- 58:17Speaker 12: outcome because I didn't even think I was going to
- 58:19Speaker 12: finish it. It was all unexpected. There was a lot
- 58:23Speaker 12: of meditation and presence going on at that institute. It
- 58:27Speaker 12: was made with love and intuition. And it wasn't perfect.
- 58:31Speaker 12: I was really like not happy with my vocals. I'm
- 58:34Speaker 12: never happy with my vocals. And when I asked her,
- 58:36Speaker 12: where in the track was it that you had this
- 58:40Speaker 12: thing that, like she said something popped. She said, it
- 58:43Speaker 12: was when you were singing and you didn't quite hit
- 58:46Speaker 12: the note. That was it. And I was like, my
- 58:50Speaker 12: bad singing was the thing that made her have that experience.
- 58:54Speaker 12: It made me realize like, okay, it doesn't have to
- 58:57Speaker 12: be perfect. You know, maybe just the feeling we tried it,
- 59:00Speaker 12: it was what was needed. So it had brain entrainment
- 59:06Speaker 12: in it because Bob had put it in. So let's
- 59:08Speaker 12: talk about brain entrainment.
- 59:10Speaker 2: What does it do?
- 59:11Speaker 12: It guides the brain into specific states. And like I
- 59:16Speaker 12: said before, it's not like brainwashing. It's like a gentle
- 59:19Speaker 12: breeze that you feel and you're encouraged to move with
- 59:23Speaker 12: it into that state. How does it work and which
- 59:32Speaker 12: states can you entrain any of them? So if you
- 59:34Speaker 12: take a person doing a thing like climbing a mountain
- 59:38Speaker 12: and you put an EEG machine on their head, you
- 59:41Speaker 12: would see that they had certain levels of different frequencies
- 59:44Speaker 12: going on. You know, the gamma would be so high,
- 59:47Speaker 12: the beta, the alpha. And you could then use sound
- 59:51Speaker 12: technology to reverse engineer it and help to move someone
- 59:56Speaker 12: into that state. And the way it works is, so
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: you have all these different brain waves. They indicate the
- 1:00:06Speaker 12: speed of the brain waves. So gamma waves are very fast,
- 1:00:08Speaker 12: delta very slow. Delta is the ones you have when
- 1:00:11Speaker 12: you sleep. And the brain entrainment is a rhythmic modulation.
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: And the brain follows that rhythmic modulation. And that's called
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: a frequency following response. So we talked about binaural. Binaural
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: is just one of their technologies. This is just one
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: way of modulating sound. But the way it works is
- 1:00:36Speaker 12: that you send one tone to one ear and a
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: slightly different one to another. In this example, you have
- 1:00:42Speaker 12: 315 hertz and 325, and you have this 10 hertz
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: in the middle. The brain doesn't like the discrepancy. Like,
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: it's not quite right, you know? And so it pushes
- 1:00:54Speaker 12: certain brain waves in that direction. I use the analogy,
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: if you were ever in a cafe and there was
- 1:01:02Speaker 12: music playing and at the same time there was a
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: video with a music video, but it's a different music video,
- 1:01:08Speaker 12: your brain can go, oh, it looks like they're dancing
- 1:01:11Speaker 12: to the music that's playing even though you know that
- 1:01:13Speaker 12: they're not because your brain just wants it to sync.
- 1:01:16Speaker 12: So the brain kind of moves for that. That's one
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: example of it. So I was in Thailand and I
- 1:01:26Speaker 12: went to ask the monks in a Tibetan monastery, what
- 1:01:33Speaker 12: frequencies do you use when you sing? What note are
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: you on? And he said, it doesn't matter about the note.
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: He said, what matters is the modulation. This music, this
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: is music, and this demonstrates how they're supposed to modulate
- 1:01:49Speaker 12: their voice. You know how they kind of go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 1:01:53Speaker 12: That's what that shows. So these guys were on that
- 1:01:57Speaker 12: brain entrainment, they probably don't use that word, a long,
- 1:02:01Speaker 12: long time ago. There are other forms of brain entrainment.
- 1:02:07Speaker 12: You can use light and flashing light. But another one
- 1:02:11Speaker 12: is geometric shapes. This is Angkor Wat. And in that picture,
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: I'm looking very sweaty. I had a terrible fever. I
- 1:02:20Speaker 12: almost couldn't get out of bed, but I didn't want
- 1:02:21Speaker 12: to miss Angkor Wat. When I was there... this shape
- 1:02:26Speaker 12: is absolutely everywhere. It's in the art, it's in the
- 1:02:30Speaker 12: tiny details, it's just everywhere. And because I had this fever,
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: when I closed my eyes, I was just visualizing this shape,
- 1:02:38Speaker 12: hallucinating it almost. And it made me wonder, did they
- 1:02:43Speaker 12: try and entrain the brain to make you feel a
- 1:02:46Speaker 12: certain way through this architecture? I don't know the answer,
- 1:02:50Speaker 12: but I feel like maybe they did. So after all
- 1:02:57Speaker 12: my travelings, I finally settled for a bit because I
- 1:03:01Speaker 12: got a scholarship to do a degree. And this is
- 1:03:04Speaker 12: very difficult for me because I love traveling. But recently
- 1:03:08Speaker 12: we went to Bosnia and Slovenia just in my summer holidays.
- 1:03:13Speaker 12: And there something came to me, which is. that the
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: present moment is sacred. And that actually that state that
- 1:03:21Speaker 12: I get into in those beautiful sacred sites is something
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: that I could get into any moment. Like even here
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: with all the noise and the hustle and bustle and
- 1:03:31Speaker 12: all the craziness going on, it's just about like centering
- 1:03:35Speaker 12: and like really tuning in. For me, it's about tuning
- 1:03:39Speaker 12: into all the senses and becoming really present with it.
- 1:03:42Speaker 12: And I found that I could find that peace doing that.
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: So today we're going to listen to one of these
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: tones and I'm going to create a track completely spontaneously
- 1:03:56Speaker 12: from scratch. And I have, thank you. I have my
- 1:04:01Speaker 12: beautiful sister, Alyssa, who's going to do some singing. And
- 1:04:05Speaker 12: Rebecca's got these beautiful sound bowls. We've never rehearsed together.
- 1:04:09Speaker 12: We don't know what we're going to sing. We only
- 1:04:11Speaker 12: know the note of the tone. And I've got a
- 1:04:15Speaker 12: keyboard here. We're going to create something. But let me
- 1:04:19Speaker 12: tell you about this tone. Go back one. This tone
- 1:04:22Speaker 12: has been created by the Monroe Institute, by Ignacio. And
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: it's heart-based. It's to create a feeling of heart-centeredness, love,
- 1:04:34Speaker 12: and peace. Just for you guys. Just for this day.
- 1:04:39Speaker 12: It doesn't exist anywhere else. You know what? Monroe do
- 1:04:44Speaker 12: this thing called resonant tuning, where everybody just makes a
- 1:04:50Speaker 12: sound to this sound that they're hearing. It's like a
- 1:04:54Speaker 12: way of, I don't know, getting everything out of your
- 1:04:56Speaker 12: system and just getting ready to do the meditations.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: So.
- 1:05:04Speaker 12: How do you guys feel about that? Would you like
- 1:05:09Speaker 12: to do some resonant tuning?
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: Yeah? Okay. Okay.
- 1:05:15Speaker 15: Nice.
- 1:05:16Speaker 12: Okay, so basically just, you can do om's or ah's
- 1:05:19Speaker 12: or ha's or he's. We'll start you off. And it
- 1:05:25Speaker 12: can be, just, you know, try and harmonise a bit,
- 1:05:28Speaker 12: you know, it can sound nice, but don't worry if
- 1:05:30Speaker 12: you can't, do your best.
- 1:05:33Speaker 13: You go first.
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: Ah.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: Ah.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Ooh Ooh Join us.
- 1:06:50Speaker 21: We've got some loops on here.
- 1:07:04Speaker 15: Sorry.
- 1:07:05Speaker 12: Mark was quite the right moment for that.
- 1:07:24Speaker 18: Open your hearts.
- 1:07:25Speaker 13: Let's hear you.
- 1:07:26Speaker 20: Oh.
- 1:07:39Speaker 13: .
- 1:08:10Speaker 10: .
- 1:08:13Speaker 28: .
- 1:08:24Speaker 13: Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey, hey.

- 1:09:33Speaker 10: Hey, hey. Hey, hey. Hey, hey.
- 1:09:43Speaker 13: Ooh, ooh.
- 1:09:43Speaker 29: Whoa, whoa. .
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: .
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: Oh, oh, oh.

- 1:17:50Speaker 18: Vibrate om.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: Om.
- 1:18:03Speaker 10: We have to wrap it up.
- 1:18:04Speaker 13: So there's our little spontaneous creation for you.
- 1:18:36Speaker 12: So I'm very excited to pass the mic over to Rebecca,
- 1:18:40Speaker 12: who will be doing something amazing, as always.
- 1:18:45Speaker 14: Thank you so much, Kaz and Alyssa.
- 1:18:47Speaker 18: What a beautiful.
- 1:18:49Speaker 14: Let's put our hands together.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Together for Kaz.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: How incredible was this?
