Nate's Week 2 NFL & EPL Wager 0915 · Nate's Daily Wager

• 0:18
Is Nate's daily wager for September 15th, 2024.
• 0:24
This is the Ides of September, I guess.
• 0:27
All right, so, or maybe not, I don't know.
• 0:30
Anyways, all right, last night got the win by a hook, just by
• 0:36
the skin of our teeth at the price that we got, I think it
• 0:41
actually came down to 25 1/2. We had 26 1/2.
• 0:44
So some of those 25 1/2 people, well, they got jammed so, but
• 0:49
hey, we didn't we got the win. Awesome.
• 0:53
All right, we got a big Sunday Week 2.
• 0:58
Everybody's back in the group here, too.
• 1:00
We got Gaffer coming up. We got Cousin Vinny winning you
• 1:04
  money. So.
• 1:06
I'm looking and you know me, I like to go to crappy teams when
• 1:11
I really need a win, and we got the Browns and the Jags playing
• 1:16
each other today. Those are two pretty crappy
• 1:18
teams. They haven't really put up a lot
• 1:21
of offense. They're supposed to have good
• 1:25
defense. At least you know, Browns are.
• 1:29
And you know, the Jags linebacker chord isn't too bad
• 1:33
either. So I'm looking at this total.
• 1:36
It's sitting at 41 1/2. And I mean, this to me, to me
• 1:41
just screams the under. So that's where we're going.
• 1:44
We have two crappy teams, some decent, decent defense, so I
• 1:49
just think it's going to stay under.
• 1:51
So we're going under 41 1/2 total points between the Browns
• 1:57
and the Jags In today's NFL football action, is anything
• 2:02
  better than that? Found it.
• 2:03
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:05
And boys, give it to the people. Ladies and gentlemen, the
• 2:12
English Premier League on Sundays is here.
• 2:17
We got a massive game in about a few minutes North London Derby
• 2:22
time. We got Arsenal, we got Tottenham
• 2:26
post the color blue against Arteta.
• 2:29
Raheem Sterling is not going to make a debut for Arsenal.
• 2:33
Can Sawn put some goals in for the Tottenham side?
• 2:38
Can kind of Saka put in some from the Arsenal side?
• 2:42
The next game later on is not that great, it's Newcastle Wolf.
• 2:45
So we're going to focus on this game, the North London Derby,
• 2:50
we're going to call it a draw today.
• 2:51
It's going to be a tie, like kissing your sister and no one's
• 2:56
going to get the three points, they're just going to get one.
• 2:59
Excited to hear that. Good pick from our buddy Cousin
• 3:02
Vinny later the fam is back together.
• 3:05
Good luck, you're going to need it.
• 3:08
You Colvin Vinny coming with your luck of the week for week
• 3:11
two NFL action, coming off a big, big victory, start the
• 3:15
season. Want to know Love the Cowboys
• 3:18
last weekend. Not only did they win the money
• 3:20
line, they blew the doors off the Browns.
• 3:24
Great way to start the season. Let's get the momentum rolling
• 3:27
here. Look at the slate of games.
• 3:29
One game really jumps out, and that is the New York Jets going
• 3:34
into Tennessee to play the Titans.
• 3:38
Titans are getting 3 1/2 at home.
• 3:40
So we got ourselves a home dog there.
• 3:42
But I'm going to go to the other way and I'm going to take The
• 3:44
Jets getting 3 1/2 points. And this might be the first time
• 3:47
that Cousin Vinny's taking The Jets in the history of this pod.
• 3:51
And so here we go. Right?
• 3:54
So. But here's what I like about it.
• 3:56
You know, the Titans last week just got by with a win against
• 4:00
the Bears just from running the ball.
• 4:02
That's all they did. Will Levis look terrible, Couple
• 4:06
ugly picks, less than 200 yards passing.
• 4:08
He just does not appear to be the answer.
• 4:12
And he's going to be going up against The Jets defense that
• 4:15
was pretty darn good last year, who had a little bit of a shaky
• 4:18
start to the season against San Francisco.
• 4:21
You got gashed a little bit on the ground.
• 4:23
But The thing is, is that Jets are going to be able to to bring
• 4:27
a lot of players down into that box and really focus and start
• 4:31
and stopping your run because quite frankly, the Titans just
• 4:34
do not have many weapons in the air.
• 4:37
You know, Will Levis going up against Sauce Gardner and and
• 4:42
Reed and that Jets secondary. I mean I just don't see if he
• 4:45
threw for 160 something yards last week.
• 4:49
Geez. I'm part of me wants us to take
• 4:51
the under on whatever is passing guards this week.
• 4:54
But we're not going to start with the props yet.
• 4:57
We're just going to assume that the Titans are going to be 1
• 5:00
dimensional and that The Jets defense is going to shut them
• 5:03
down. That coupled with Aaron Rodgers
• 5:06
shaky start, he did go up against a tough Niners defense
• 5:12
last week. It's not the start that The Jets
• 5:14
offense want to for The Jets team really want to start the
• 5:17
season off with, but I, I really think they're going to be
• 5:19
motivated to come back. They're going to play strong.
• 5:22
You know, Titans have a decent defense, have a good secondary,
• 5:26
but I still think it's going to be The Jets offense to be too
• 5:29
much with Reese, Hall, Garrett and looking for Rodgers to
• 5:33
bounce back. Once this game gets away from
• 5:38
from the Titans, they're just not going to be able to keep up
• 5:40
with The Jets. So that defense is not going to
• 5:42
be a hole. They're going to get tired.
• 5:44
And I'm expecting this one fully to be a route.
• 5:48
And the alarms are going to be going off in Tennessee after
• 5:51
Week 2. So take The Jets -3 1/2 and take
• 5:58
it to the bank and lock it up until next week, Cousin Bitty,
• 6:02
when you're locked over the week.
