Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:19Hello, friends, family and Christ, thank you so much for tuning in.
- 0:24Today, we're going to hopefully get to some recent news stories and then a very important
- 0:27topic that I've been meaning to talk about for a while, and one of the reasons I haven't
- 0:33is I've been censored, surprise, surprise, on YouTube or social media on this particular topic,
- 0:40but I'll just leave you hanging for a few minutes. So let's start with what's happening locally here.
- 0:46By the way, I was just told that we are still averaging at World View Matters a half a million
- 0:53downloads, podcasts downloads per month, per month, and we're excited to say, I think within
- 0:59about a month or so, roughly, we're going to have episode 500. So our 500th episode, which is
- 1:07astounding to me. Anyway, thank you for coming along for the ride, and thank you for supporting us,
- 1:12and as God is driving this and leading this thing, just praise him. Thank you, Jesus.
- 1:18So I want to mention a local conference is coming up February 28th. That's just in a few weeks.
- 1:23It's the Men of Iron Conference. We really need men in the area to go Green Bay,
- 1:28Northeast Wisconsin to check this out. So the website is men of ironconference.org,
- 1:35men of ironconference.org. You can register there. Their purpose is to equip men with biblical truth
- 1:43to stand in these last days. And boy, that's, that's my heart as well. Pastor David Roth,
- 1:50my pastor at one way Christian church, Green Bay, Wisconsin is hosting it. One of the speakers
- 1:56Pastor Matt Trewella. You may know him from missionaries to the pre-born and defy tyrants.
- 2:04So Pastor Matt Trewella also coach Dave Dobinmeyer. Most people know him just as coach Dave. He's a
- 2:10speaker and the founder of Pass the Salt. So this, again, is going to be in just a few weeks,
- 2:15February 28th between eight and four, just for men. And it's at one way Christian church in
- 2:21Green Bay. And again, the website men of ironconference.org. We'll be mentioning that just to make
- 2:28sure the men in the area are aware of it. A lot of people maybe are not aware. So now I want to
- 2:34mention before I give you a personal ministry update, let's talk about world view matters and our
- 2:41conference coming up because it's we're holding it at a hotel. And again, friends, the dates are
- 2:48May 1st and 2nd. If you're brand new to the podcast, you haven't heard or seen the video yet,
- 2:53the promo. We've got radio ads going on the family radio network in regionally,
- 3:00primarily in Wisconsin and online. But we're holding it at a hotel. Why?
- 3:06First of all, our church wasn't big enough. But second of all, some of the biggest churches,
- 3:12I think you can probably say this in most places around the country, sadly. Some of the biggest
- 3:18churches are more seeker sensitive and not tolerant of the true biblical world view. In other words,
- 3:27Christians that believe in not God as creator, that's pretty much any central of the faith.
- 3:35But male, female, they don't want to talk about gender issues. They don't want to talk about abortion
- 3:39because their congregations are maybe divided on abortion. That's right. On the murder of a pre-born
- 3:46baby human being in a mother's womb, that's right. Even the church is divided. We'll talk about that
- 3:51in just a few minutes and beliefs of the church. But we're holding it at a hotel
- 3:56so that churches would be okay with sharing it, trying to get pastors, trying to get churches
- 4:03to understand. This is important. We want you to check this conference out
- 4:09because a lot of churches are in our, they align with our biblical world view. And they may not
- 4:16promote it if it was held at another church. Does that make sense? Unfortunately, there's a
- 4:20competition factor. Churches can be kind of clicky sometimes. So the hotel is a neutral place
- 4:29where any, most churches that adhere to the biblical world view can say, yeah, we would tell
- 4:36our congregation to check this out. So please tell your pastor and please tell your church about
- 4:41the world view matters conference. That's number one. Number two, we just updated, we just started
- 4:48working on the sponsors for the conference. And I just want to mention the sponsors. By the way,
- 4:52the website is worldviewmattersconference.com. That's worldviewmattersconference.com. I want to thank
- 5:01the sponsors so far. We're now going to be approaching many, many more businesses, Christian
- 5:08businesses and ministries who would partner with us or that they also believe in the true biblical
- 5:14world view starting with freedom project academy, freedom project media. That's who hosts this
- 5:20podcast worldviewmatters and produces this podcast. FPEUSA.org is the website. But I just want to go
- 5:29or freedomproject.com. But I also want to mention Harbinger's Daily. They've been on board since the
- 5:34beginning. Praise God for Harbinger's Daily and Harbinger's.tv. Also lighthouse Christian books,
- 5:43Christian store that's in green bay, the family radio network. I want to thank legacy church.
- 5:50We just had pastor Steve Smotherman on recently. What a straight talking bold man of faith
- 5:55and a great leader. Now he has a mega church. I don't know how he does. I always joke about that
- 6:00with him. Say howdy, the way you're bold on every one of these issues and you've got a huge
- 6:05church. In other words, he doesn't care about offending people. Maybe a lot of people are attracted
- 6:09to that now. They didn't used to be. But legacy church is huge. They're sponsoring. They're in
- 6:14New Mexico. Hello. Hello. New Mexico. So I and of course one way Christian church in green bay
- 6:23Wisconsin. So I would love for you or if you have a ministry or your church, if your church is
- 6:31interested in sponsoring the conference, yes, we need help. So this is a big undertaking and we'll
- 6:37take all the help we can get. Go to worldviewmattersconference.com, click on sponsors. It's up at the top,
- 6:45click on sponsors and there's a page with information, different levels of sponsorship and what we
- 6:51will give you, what you give to us. So now I also want to mention Scott Sharers organization, our
- 6:58amazing grace. Thank you, Scott, Verlo mattress and green bay Wisconsin there. They got on board.
- 7:04They're a sponsor. NC LED lighting. NC LED lighting. Praise God. They're also a sponsor. American
- 7:13antiques and jewelry. Liberty Sentinel. Thank you, Alex Newman. Alex Newman is one of the speakers,
- 7:18of course. Liberty Sentinel is partnering with us and did I'm okay one more and that is his
- 7:26sword ministries. That's the latest his sword ministries. I think they may be based in Florida,
- 7:31but they're also in Wisconsin back and forth. So praise God. Thank you Todd, his sword ministries.
- 7:37So I think I mentioned all the sponsors. I just wanted to do that. We're going to do this from time
- 7:41to time just to give them a little shout out and of course we want to make sure they are blessed
- 7:45because they are blessing us by sponsoring the worldviewmatters conference. So we'll play the
- 7:52the conference promo about halfway through the podcast but I just wanted to update you on where we are
- 7:57and say one more thing. It's right now we just started advertising a couple of weeks ago. We're
- 8:04over a third sold as far as ticket sold and it's not a huge conference center at the Delta hotel
- 8:13in Green Bay. So I just want to give you a heads up if you're thinking boy we would love to go.
- 8:18I'm thinking I might do that. I'd encourage you to make that decision sooner rather than later.
- 8:24Now we've got two months or more to talk about it. We're going to be promoting it like crazy on
- 8:28social media where we're not banned your sensor shadow band squelched suppressed. It's fun. Isn't it
- 8:35being a Bible believing Christian in this day and age? The intolerance out there. So there you go.
- 8:42Worldviewmattersconference.com. Now I do want to before I get to some articles I wanted to talk
- 8:49today and and very touch on because we're going to talk about several different topics and one
- 8:54of them is Islam and we'll start with the church in a minute and beliefs in what what Christians
- 9:03in America believe. But I just wanted to open up my heart briefly and just share what's going
- 9:09on personally with my wife Rosanna and I as you know I'm her full-time caregiver you're going
- 9:16well how do you do a podcast and do all that I come into the studio here once a week once a week
- 9:24I come into the studio today we're recording five five podcasts in one day yes you know it's
- 9:30it's a lot of prep but I can do that from home. So if those of you that are newer listeners or
- 9:36viewers my wife took the I can't say the actual thing or we'll get censored I like what John
- 9:45Haller calls it Charlie Vector David one-niner CVD19 yeah I think you know what that means CVD19 he
- 9:55was Charlie Vector David one-niner but she took what I will call it the government recommended
- 10:04and the the big hospitals and the big pharma recommended solution to the problem we had worldwide
- 10:12about six years ago okay so I didn't take it but my wife did why because she wanted to go visit her
- 10:20family she grew up in Toronto Canada so she's from Toronto and she wanted to visit her family she
- 10:26could not get across the border unless she took this recommended solution to this
- 10:34the Scandinemic I can say that all right we'll probably get cancelled just for that one word
- 10:38but okay so she she did that and within weeks after that she started experiencing neurological
- 10:45issues and memory loss and confusion some might call it a brain injury and it has progressed or maybe
- 10:53progressed isn't the right word maybe it's she has regressed declined cognitively and we went
- 11:00through all kinds of tests oh my goodness and I had horrible insurance back then too but anyway
- 11:09we went through all that we went through detoxes we got her blood check we found you know we saw
- 11:14these little particles in her blood so we tried to do a blood cleanse we tried to change her diet
- 11:19we were on supplements vitamins and her medication that she was taking and it got to be too much
- 11:24this was about four years ago and she got so sick after doing all this her her stomach because she
- 11:31was taking medication in the morning then she takes supplements then we were trying to change her
- 11:35diet and then she was supposed to take these things to detox her system between meals without food
- 11:42and I think that's what got her that's what made her sick one of them was natto kinase a lot of
- 11:46people take that and there were others nac and others but we still take some things but anyway so
- 11:53she has declined through the years it wasn't long before she couldn't drive the early signs were
- 11:59she would look at a grocery list and she would be staring at it with a confused look on her face
- 12:04she couldn't couldn't figure out the list then she would look at the calendar whatever month that was
- 12:10um September was it 2021 anyway she would look at the calendar and just just kind of stare and figure
- 12:17out so fast forward to today um she needs help with absolutely everything she might be eating a
- 12:25thing of yogurt I said it in her hand I get her food for her and sometimes after put the spoon
- 12:32in her hand and actually lift it up and get her started then she'll remember so it's a lot of
- 12:36connection with from her brain to her body and limbs and things she used to be able to do
- 12:42muscle memory I guess a lot of things she doesn't remember till I get her started so
- 12:46that's one thing um everything else she really needs help with everything and I mean everything you
- 12:52know bathroom and um so we have had a lot of prayers we have a lot of support and we've got
- 12:59a page for her if you're not familiar with it on Facebook called Rosanna's journey
- 13:03it's Rosanna's journey it's a private group but 3,000 people are in it but I wanted to share this
- 13:10I'm thankful for it when people send us gift cards for meals and people still deliver meals
- 13:16every now and then it's just such a blessing but I wanted to share this one of the most recent
- 13:20posts that I did I did an update on February 4 I'm gonna do another one uh in the next couple days
- 13:26so there's 3,000 people in that group on Rosanna's journey that's the page that we started to
- 13:31share about my wife's experiences and her decline in the cognitive issues um and I shared an update
- 13:38and 245 people liked it um gave a or commented less than that actually 245 so out of 3,000 so even
- 13:51on a group page where there's that many people that want to follow you they want to hear your
- 13:56or see your updates and they sign up to follow and see the updates but they're not making it in
- 14:01people's news feeds I don't think as far as that page goes now me personally my ministry page has
- 14:07been suppressed and sometimes censored shadow band is the word on Facebook but in this private
- 14:13group of Rosanna's journey on that page I don't think they're censoring I just think there's
- 14:18so much activity so much going on to keep up with on Facebook and it can only make it so far
- 14:24so I would love for you to go check that out if you want to keep up with the most recent updates I
- 14:28try to do that every couple weeks but um we are now going to be looking at in-home help because I have
- 14:36I have a questionable knee and if that's some low back pain and I do a lot of bending over and doing
- 14:41stuff all over the house you know cleaning everything else so um by the way thank you Tim for getting
- 14:48me that very very nice professional back brace that I put on belt brace whatever you want to call it
- 14:54support um so we're trying to work with a private home care agency now and get home in home care
- 15:02maybe four days a week for just three four hours at a time I'm starting to plan that work on
- 15:07that because I recognize that's a need it's there are times where I get completely worn out but all
- 15:12that to say look what we're doing here this podcast has been going for almost four years I think
- 15:17three and a half maybe and look at oh what was that number again I have a million downloads that's
- 15:22just audio on world view matters I have a million downloads a month so I am praising God I hope to do
- 15:29this as long as I can as long as we have an audience as long as God keeps being glorified and hopefully
- 15:34we are talking about issues and and subjects that you guys care about that are beneficial to the
- 15:40body of Christ so there's a lot more about our personal journey if you want to check that out on
- 15:46the the group page there on Facebook Rosanna's journey because it has been kind of like the
- 15:53roller coaster ride and it's been a the work kind of in a trial of wilderness but this is the way
- 15:58it is we're trusting God she can't read anymore she can't operate her iPhone anymore but I can talk
- 16:04to her she can kind of pray a little bit she can still sing songs but forgets the lyrics so she
- 16:09hums to like worship songs a lot so she used to be a worship leader for those that don't know she
- 16:15has two CDs out so I just wanted to give you a personal update now we got to take a brief pause I
- 16:21want you to see the world view matters promo video and then I've got a handful of articles and we're
- 16:26just going to touch on these because I took so much time updating you on everything locally and with
- 16:31the conference and personally so thank you for your patience and we'll be right back on world view
- 16:35matters register now for the world view matters conference may first and second in green Bay
- 16:42Wisconsin expert speakers include Alex Newman Brianna Clawson Olivier Melnick
- 16:49Tim Chaffee Mark and Amber Archer Laura Perry Smalls Jake Jacobs Jay Seagard Gary Caw Scott
- 16:59Shara and Elijah Abraham Delta Hotel Green Bay may first and second go to worldviewmattersconference.com
- 17:09that's worldviewmattersconference.com okay friends let's talk about the church first and I have
- 17:16had Dr. George Barna on this podcast I've had Adam Rasmussen on from the cultural research center
- 17:22at Arizona Christian University and they do some amazing work but I want to go back and touch on
- 17:30this study that came out at the end of last year toward the end of last year and the headline is
- 17:36faith without understanding majority of us Christians believe good works contribute to salvation
- 17:47a majority of Christians believe good works contribute to salvation now this was a
- 17:54Barna study and Christian research center cultural research center I want to emphasize something
- 18:02I I understand that the average American or the average human being in other religions I mean
- 18:09most other religions you have to do something to get God's approval or to get it get to another
- 18:14level of consciousness or spirituality you have to do do do do do do what does Christianity say
- 18:21done done Jesus said it is finished the work was completed on the cross we don't have to do
- 18:29anything but believe accept his sacrifice repent of your sins confess your sins to God and believe
- 18:38and you will be saved now it sounds simple but then if your conversion is authentic then you will
- 18:47see your life change then you will see fruit of the Holy Spirit love joy peace patience kindness
- 18:54goodness faithfulness gentleness self control you'll see good what you'll do good works because
- 18:59you're authentically saved by God thankful that you have a hope that the most of the world doesn't
- 19:06understand you don't have to work for it Jesus did it for us so this is an interesting study that
- 19:13it says a majority of us Christians believe good works contribute to salvation so the survey found
- 19:2384% of adults now including 95% of self professed Christians here's another thing from the study
- 19:32believe there is such a thing as sin so that's a good thing okay most Christians believe you know
- 19:38there is sin in the world millions of Americans do not believe their sinfulness will and get them
- 19:45sent to hell in other words they don't think they'll be punished for their sins that's millions okay
- 19:51so there's just some of these one of the thing out of those who say their Christian
- 19:58three out of four 77% say they will enjoy heaven three out of four but again back to that original
- 20:06one more a majority of Christians think they have to work for it so there's some confusion
- 20:11isn't there I just wanted to emphasize that our good friend JB Hickson is going to be back on with
- 20:16this in in a little bit a few weeks his ministry not by works we are saved by the grace of God
- 20:24through faith and it's only Jesus by Christ alone right so we need to be better students of
- 20:32Scripture and we need to be able to understand understand this and then explain it to people
- 20:37because I understand that you're the thinking yeah we have to be better we have to work harder
- 20:44I think that's just a human thing we're just human beings we think we need to do that but
- 20:48that's God's mercy and grace isn't it isn't it it's amazing to me so the good thing about that
- 20:56for people that are far from God rebelling or they're just living their own there's still hope for
- 21:01that person as long as they're alive right but then there's two different destinations so I
- 21:06just wanted to share that one with you and then I want to go to a couple other briefly
- 21:13okay let's talk about this recent court case and I'm sorry I'm jumping around here a little bit
- 21:17but we're gonna run out of time quick New York a New York jury awards a detransitioner in other words
- 21:23someone who was convinced that they were transgender then all that they realized no I guess I'm not
- 21:28I was lied to a New York jury awarded this awarded this detransistor two million dollars
- 21:35and it's now a historic malpractice trial so this is going to send signals to a lot of other
- 21:42court cases it could uh I don't know that it's going to set set a precedent but it was a civil
- 21:48jury and awarded this person two million in damages one point six million for past and future
- 21:55suffering and four hundred thousand for future medical expenses from all the physical and the
- 22:02cosmetic surgery and all the mutilation it's just so sad that we got here right in America it's so
- 22:08sad now I need to jump to another article quickly to understand where we're at as far as the value
- 22:13of human life assisted suicide comes to the heartland this came out at the very end of last year
- 22:19and this article came out because Illinois governor JB Pritzker signed a bill into law at that time
- 22:25that made his state the 13th jurisdiction in the nation that that allows assisted suicide
- 22:35it's already lawful in 11 other states and the District of Columbia Washington DC now Illinois
- 22:42Pritzker signed that so this permits a physician a doctor who was supposed to do no harm right
- 22:50but it permits a doctor to assist someone to kill themselves
- 22:55and this is also referred to as made MAID that's what they call it in Canada
- 23:00MAID is medical assistance in dying so the United States now has its first heartland state
- 23:08meaning middle of the country kind of Illinois even though Illinois has always been blue and lefty
- 23:13but you know the West Coast we can understand the East Coast New York and other states
- 23:18Vermont everything Massachusetts we can understand but now Illinois so this is an interesting
- 23:23development okay because the value of human life we know the abortion has been a battle
- 23:28but I think we have not really paid attention to euthanasia and assisted suicide it's still
- 23:35man taking control of her life and death when God should have the say over life and death now
- 23:41okay this is a couple other things I wanted to get to and this is Islam I'm sorry guys we're
- 23:45down to four minutes but there's two articles I'm just going to direct you to Virgil Walker puts out
- 23:50some great stuff you can look him out on Facebook you can look him up on sub-stack but one of these
- 23:56articles is the quiet conquest Islam's advance and the collapse of a sleeping church now this came
- 24:05out last November I've held on to this for a while why because one time we were censored with one
- 24:12of the guests we've had on world view matters YouTube actually deleted the program with with no
- 24:17the podcast no warning so this is a sensitive topic but nonetheless there's some truth tellers
- 24:23out there that I want to make sure you understand what's going on because this there's a lot of lies
- 24:29and Islam is not peaceful the name Islam means submission if you look at the life of Muhammad
- 24:35he was a violent warrior he believed in conquest he believed in military campaigns pretty much
- 24:41violent campaigns to take over territory and what they're doing in America not they're not
- 24:47assimilating interesting word now we keep coming back to the the our desire that people would come
- 24:53to America freely it's a free country but assimilate come legally migrate here immigrants can
- 24:59come here anybody can come here but if you don't want to adopt our constitution our laws
- 25:07you don't have to be a Christian although we hope to have more say in that in the church be more
- 25:12influential but I just want to direct you to this there's so many great points and he
- 25:18Virgil Walker goes into history about when a nation becomes Muslim and he shares all these things
- 25:25that happen and some societies decay freedoms are eliminated women are treated horribly so there's
- 25:33and there's a lot of scripture he shares from the surah and the Quran about what Muhammad says about
- 25:41violence about justifying violence for their means to advance Islam so we have to have a better
- 25:48understanding of this friends and he said you cannot reconcile the irreconcilable so that's one
- 25:55we have a blind spot here in America in the church out of the desire to be compassionate which is
- 26:02not a bad thing and the desire to be tolerant which is not a bad thing we have allowed or affirmed
- 26:08things that we should never allow or approve of in this country and that's all I'll say right now
- 26:16with without going into too much but look up Virgil Walker he does great work and a lot of people
- 26:21do on this topic one other one I want to point point you to and we're out of time but I want to
- 26:26point you to this one it's called the rise of political Islam in America what Christians
- 26:32must understand look this one up I know it's it's the end of last year several months ago but look
- 26:38this one up political Islam in America it is not just a quote unquote religion certainly is not a
- 26:45religion of peace it is a socio political and economic system look up what Sharia law means okay
- 26:54and that's yeah I just want to make sure you guys are aware that there's a lot of great writing on
- 26:58this topic um we've done a few programs on this with Tony Garoule those weren't censored by the way
- 27:06because I think he contrasts Islam and Christianity Allah or Muhammad and Jesus are not the same I
- 27:16can't emphasize that more we're out of time but sorry couldn't get into this topic a little bit more
- 27:21we will learn willing to do another one if this one doesn't get censored just for me mentioning
- 27:25that little bit so pray for us friends thank you so much again for your support and I appreciate
- 27:30you allowing me to give the updates here at the beginning make sure to check out the men of iron
- 27:34conference if you're a male sorry but the world view matters conference anyone can go to that green
- 27:39bay Wisconsin god bless you guys and as always keep speaking the truth about things that matter see
- 27:47you next time
