Campaigners Refuse To Give Up On Kilkee Wastewater Challenge
Campaigners say their legal challenge against the proposed Kilkee wastewater treatment plant is “not over by a long shot”. Uisce Éireann welcomed a decision this week upholding planning permission for the plant and refusing leave to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeal. The Save Kilkee Cliff Walk Campaign says it is now seeking legal advice on what options remain open to it. Spokesperson Ellie Byrne says the latest legal setback does not mean the campaign is surrendering.
