- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the EDS with Eddie Judge and Edwin Ado Yave.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Eds. My name is Eddie Judge,
- 0:07Speaker 1: I have my co host, and we have a guest
- 0:12Speaker 1: that's been on our show before. His name is Sean Turillo.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Hei guys, welcome back. Sean. We are gonna continue our
- 0:22Speaker 1: episodes of white Swap with the house husbands. Were really
- 0:26Speaker 1: interested to hear on your side. I got to see
- 0:29Speaker 1: the show this last week when it aired, and it
- 0:32Speaker 1: was it was a lot of fun to watch Angie
- 0:35Speaker 1: struggle with such an opposite lifestyle that she lives, and
- 0:41Speaker 1: you know, it was even more fun to watch how
- 0:43Speaker 1: you guys live in that beautiful home and your dynamics
- 0:47Speaker 1: as a family and your great relationship with your daughter,
- 0:51Speaker 1: and how cool this whole experience was. I mean, I honestly, Sean,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I enjoyed watching it. I enjoyed watching you. You were
- 0:59Speaker 1: so cool, so relaxed, so like in control.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And thank you.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I know that they edit stuff out that you know
- 1:07Speaker 1: should and shouldn't be on show, but they made you
- 1:09Speaker 1: life good brother.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Well thanks, yeah, I appreciate it. Yeah they did a
- 1:13Speaker 2: good job.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I was really entertained. So let's get started.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Sean, what what actually made you say yes to
- 1:22Speaker 3: the show? You and angew it actually made you guys
- 1:24Speaker 3: say yes?
- 1:25Speaker 2: You know, for us, it was kind of a no brainer,
- 1:27Speaker 2: you know when they asked us to do the show.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You know, obviously they got in touch with Angie and said, hey,
- 1:33Speaker 2: we've got this opportunity, and you're one of the first
- 1:36Speaker 2: people that we thought of. And you know, just like
- 1:40Speaker 2: anything else, we're usually game to do whatever. So you know,
- 1:44Speaker 2: it was plus, you know, just a curiosity to kind
- 1:47Speaker 2: of learn how, you know, somebody else lives their life
- 1:50Speaker 2: and to see if there's any uh, you know, juxtapositions
- 1:54Speaker 2: in terms of what the way they do things versus
- 1:57Speaker 2: the way we do things. And you know, we're we're
- 2:00Speaker 2: lifelong learners, so we're always we're always into kind of
- 2:04Speaker 2: you know, we're up for the task and we're always
- 2:06Speaker 2: into kind of learning new things.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So that's rightesome, that is awesome. You know. We had
- 2:13Speaker 1: Joe Gorga on the show last last week or two
- 2:16Speaker 1: weeks ago, and remember and it was so much fun
- 2:20Speaker 1: hearing him talk about the whole experience. One of the
- 2:22Speaker 1: biggest questions we had, you know, because the interesting dynamic
- 2:26Speaker 1: here is you and Angie have that awesome relationship where
- 2:30Speaker 1: you guys can do a lot of things together. You
- 2:32Speaker 1: obviously have a business together. Joe and Melissa spend a
- 2:36Speaker 1: lot of time together and they have great dynamics in
- 2:38Speaker 1: their relationships. And I think I have the same thing
- 2:42Speaker 1: with my wife, but I would I don't think i'd
- 2:44Speaker 1: ever wife swap, not even for four days. I don't
- 2:48Speaker 1: know if I could deal with that, you know.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I think it all depends on who you get. We
- 2:54Speaker 2: ended up plucking out, so, you know, but I think
- 2:58Speaker 2: it could go the opposite direction too. Gosh.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I can't imagine, like if you would have had the
- 3:03Speaker 1: complete opposite of or let's say Angie on steroids, right,
- 3:09Speaker 1: Because what I learned about Angie is she's very well organized.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You know, she gets shit done. Obviously. It resembles a
- 3:17Speaker 1: lot of what makes you guys successful. That she doesn't
- 3:19Speaker 1: let anything sit right yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And and to think, okay, what what if? Because one
- 3:28Speaker 1: of the biggest questions I don't know if you remember this,
- 3:31Speaker 1: d one, but we asked Joe like, what was the
- 3:33Speaker 1: first thing that went to buying? And I thought, what
- 3:36Speaker 1: if she's going to some billionaire's house and she's just
- 3:39Speaker 1: going to be, you know, flying across the ocean to
- 3:44Speaker 1: France to have lunch and come home, Like is she
- 3:47Speaker 1: going to come back?
- 3:48Speaker 3: Right?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Right? You know that I did wonder that myself, and
- 3:53Speaker 2: I was like, well, you know, if if she does
- 3:57Speaker 2: and he's a billionaire, it but you know, just no
- 4:02Speaker 2: give backs, you know, you can have her.
- 4:09Speaker 1: No warranty right right? Sold as is yep, yep.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Who's more nervous about the switch?
- 4:19Speaker 2: You know, I don't think either of us were that
- 4:23Speaker 2: that nervous. I think she probably her though, if I
- 4:27Speaker 2: were to guess, I mean, I was just kind of
- 4:30Speaker 2: up for whatever. But you know, she she was worried
- 4:34Speaker 2: about this opposite thing, and she kinda She's like, gosh,
- 4:37Speaker 2: what if I'm in the middle of the country or
- 4:39Speaker 2: what if I'm you know, the opposite like with the
- 4:41Speaker 2: billionaire or whatever. And she did end up in the
- 4:45Speaker 2: middle of nowhere, and uh, you know, I think she
- 4:48Speaker 2: was you know, Angie's always game for anything, but you know,
- 4:53Speaker 2: made her nervous for sure to find out where she
- 4:55Speaker 2: was going living off grid.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Well, I can't imagine what was going through her head
- 5:01Speaker 1: when she was standing there looking at the house and
- 5:04Speaker 1: absolutely no grass, you know, no running water.
- 5:09Speaker 2: How about that toilet, that.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Toilet, the outside bathtub, I mean that is roughing it.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's brutal.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Now, I have a big question for you. If the
- 5:21Speaker 1: roads were reversed and you were in her shoes, how
- 5:23Speaker 1: do you think you would have handled her situation?
- 5:27Speaker 4: Toilet?
- 5:29Speaker 2: You know, I grew up kind of an outdoorsman. You know,
- 5:32Speaker 2: my my, we went hunting, we did all that stuff.
- 5:35Speaker 2: So you know, I'm no stranger to roughing it a
- 5:38Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, and you know, me and electric we
- 5:40Speaker 2: still go. I mean, we've got a nice motor home
- 5:43Speaker 2: that we use nowadays. But you know, we like campfires
- 5:46Speaker 2: and we we have the ability to get through those things.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing, that the biggest challenge I
- 5:53Speaker 2: would have had was that toilet. Changing that toilet, that
- 5:56Speaker 2: was my god, that would have been the worst thing
- 5:59Speaker 2: for me.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I mean even the toilets in the RV are luxury
- 6:05Speaker 1: compared to what she had to do.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to see anything, you know. You know,
- 6:09Speaker 2: it's just it disappears, you know, there's it kind of
- 6:13Speaker 2: works on the modern in a modern way these days.
- 6:16Speaker 1: How funny how funny. Yeah, so I did. Really, another
- 6:21Speaker 1: thing I wanted to mention is I did enjoy watching
- 6:24Speaker 1: the dynamics between you and your daughter and Angie. You know,
- 6:28Speaker 1: what I learned from the show is that Angie spends
- 6:30Speaker 1: a lot of time just doing stuff, getting stuff done,
- 6:34Speaker 1: which takes away from time together as a family, right,
- 6:38Speaker 1: But the fact that you are there to take up,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you know, the support for your daughter. I find nothing
- 6:45Speaker 1: more valuable or more needed in this world than spending
- 6:50Speaker 1: time with your kids. Quality time with your kids, you know.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And if parents are always working because they have to
- 6:58Speaker 1: or because they want to or whatever, I think it
- 7:00Speaker 1: affects the kid's future, you know.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And I just found it so awesome that you guys
- 7:07Speaker 1: spend so much time together and do so many things.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And she's so cool, She's just like so chill. She
- 7:11Speaker 1: went with the whole thing. She had a few funny things,
- 7:14Speaker 1: as she said, and it was really fun to watch.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Well, thank you. Yeah, I mean, obviously she's my favorite
- 7:21Speaker 2: person to be with you and and uh, you know,
- 7:24Speaker 2: we we have a lot in common. You know, Edwin
- 7:28Speaker 2: knows she's she's a on the National Equestrian Jumping Circuit
- 7:34Speaker 2: and you know, I was raised with horses, and you know,
- 7:38Speaker 2: I get to relive my childhood through her eyes, albeit
- 7:42Speaker 2: a different discipline. But you know, we we just have
- 7:45Speaker 2: tons of fun together. We we joke around a lot.
- 7:47Speaker 2: We have a blast, you know. But you know, as
- 7:50Speaker 2: far as Angie goes, like, you know, she she does
- 7:54Speaker 2: stay busy. But you know, I'm just gonna paint the picture.
- 7:56Speaker 2: When Angie's you know, wiping off the count her she's
- 8:00Speaker 2: also talking on the phone to Mary or Heather or
- 8:04Speaker 2: something like that. So when I get things done, it's
- 8:07Speaker 2: done in like five seconds. When she does something, it
- 8:11Speaker 2: takes her like ten minutes because you know, she's talking
- 8:15Speaker 2: on the phone, and she's moving around, and she's you
- 8:18Speaker 2: know kind of like her mind's kind of going and
- 8:21Speaker 2: and so you know, it's one of those things.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That's hilarious because my wife would do the same thing,
- 8:27Speaker 1: and she would justify it as multitasking. She gives me
- 8:30Speaker 1: a hard time all the time because I can't do
- 8:32Speaker 1: two things more than two things I want. It drives
- 8:34Speaker 1: me nuts.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Right, I'm the same way.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Yeah, And I've read many studies and articles about this
- 8:41Speaker 1: whole multitasking bullshit. I think it is bullshit, because, like
- 8:45Speaker 1: you said, you just made a perfect point. You might
- 8:47Speaker 1: be talking on the phone getting stuff done better, it'll
- 8:49Speaker 1: take you an hour to wipe the car.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly exactly.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So that's funny. That's funny. Let's talk about you, your
- 9:00Speaker 1: temporary wife, Lindsay Lindsay, right, Yeah, I really I.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Really liked there.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think I thought, you know, I saw a very
- 9:08Speaker 1: down to earth like, humble person coming into your lifestyle
- 9:14Speaker 1: and not necessarily judging, but looking at all these amazing
- 9:19Speaker 1: things that you guys have in your life, that she
- 9:21Speaker 1: would be like, I can live without that. I can
- 9:23Speaker 1: live without that, I can live without that.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:26Speaker 1: What do you think was going through her head when
- 9:28Speaker 1: she was like staying with you guys, the real thing,
- 9:32Speaker 1: like not the TV stuff, right?
- 9:35Speaker 2: You know, she was super cool, you know, just she's
- 9:39Speaker 2: very very shy, you know, so you know there were
- 9:43Speaker 2: moments where it was kind of hard to sort of
- 9:46Speaker 2: I guess have that back and forth. But you know,
- 9:49Speaker 2: I think she warmed up and you know, being on camera,
- 9:53Speaker 2: I mean we had nineteen hour days, you know, and
- 9:55Speaker 2: it was just like, I mean, you guys know how
- 9:58Speaker 2: it is. Cameras every where they did the still cameras
- 10:01Speaker 2: in the house and outside of the house things like that,
- 10:04Speaker 2: so it was like you couldn't really go anywhere without
- 10:07Speaker 2: being filmed. And you know, while we're used to that
- 10:11Speaker 2: kind of thing, she was totally like, oh my gosh,
- 10:15Speaker 2: did I say something that wasn't you know, cool or whatever.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So she was kind of worried about how she may
- 10:22Speaker 2: have been viewed or may have been edited or whatever.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But you know, she is such a nice person. They're
- 10:30Speaker 2: they're just such a great family and we couldn't have
- 10:33Speaker 2: lucked out in a better way, you know. So we
- 10:38Speaker 2: had a great time. I think she kind of saw
- 10:41Speaker 2: the things that Angie does and the things that are
- 10:43Speaker 2: kind of part of her daily routine as you know,
- 10:48Speaker 2: well you know, not as not necessary. You know, it's
- 10:52Speaker 2: just like, okay, you know, these guys are are really
- 10:56Speaker 2: focused on just kind of living and haveing to to
- 11:02Speaker 2: it takes a lot of work to provide for their
- 11:04Speaker 2: families and to you know, just do simple daily things,
- 11:10Speaker 2: you know. So I think she saw a lot of
- 11:14Speaker 2: this situation is maybe there's a bit of excess and
- 11:19Speaker 2: and you know, and I empathize with that. I see it,
- 11:23Speaker 2: you know, I see it myself, you know, just walking
- 11:26Speaker 2: around the house like, oh god, do you know, it's like,
- 11:30Speaker 2: there's five bottles of pellegrino on the table right now,
- 11:33Speaker 2: and it's like, I know, Electra's the only one that
- 11:36Speaker 2: drinks it right now, so it's like, why are there
- 11:38Speaker 2: five open bottles? Right? And you start you start, you know,
- 11:43Speaker 2: the register starts clicking and it's like gosh, and then
- 11:47Speaker 2: I start drinking them, you know what I mean, So
- 11:48Speaker 2: we're not waste them exactly. So I certainly see what
- 11:53Speaker 2: she's what she was going seeing and what she was
- 11:56Speaker 2: thinking and that kind of thing.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So she was right.
- 12:00Speaker 2: She was very very cool.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I found it fascinating that you guys got the opportunity
- 12:15Speaker 1: to experience complete opposite lifestyles, right Like, you guys are
- 12:21Speaker 1: living in luxury and they're living in in minimal and
- 12:27Speaker 1: working their butt off every day. That's like. And one
- 12:30Speaker 1: of the interesting things they said is like it's their
- 12:32Speaker 1: daily gym. They go to the gym. They haul water
- 12:36Speaker 1: like Edwin. They were these were five gallon water buckets
- 12:40Speaker 1: that they had to go down the mountain to fill
- 12:45Speaker 1: and carry up to the house and dumping a fifty
- 12:49Speaker 1: gallon water container so that they have running water for
- 12:52Speaker 1: dishes and stuff like that, and drinking water. I mean
- 12:55Speaker 1: hard work, hard.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Hard work. And you know, I mean what we turn
- 13:02Speaker 2: on the faucet and get they have to they have
- 13:06Speaker 2: to haul it, just like Eddie said, and you know,
- 13:09Speaker 2: it becomes a thing that you really have to think about.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It's like, okay, you know, I can't waste this otherwise
- 13:15Speaker 2: I have to go to the stream, fill up this
- 13:17Speaker 2: bucket and bring it back up.
- 13:18Speaker 4: You know.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, So what do you think she she What do
- 13:23Speaker 3: you think she loved most about your home?
- 13:27Speaker 2: You know, I I would say, just you know, the
- 13:30Speaker 2: things that we take for granted, you know, the running water,
- 13:34Speaker 2: the toilets, you know, things like that. I mean, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 2: we have a lady that comes every week and cleans
- 13:40Speaker 2: our house, and you know there are things like that
- 13:43Speaker 2: that I think, you know, she would probably she probably
- 13:48Speaker 2: would think about and think, God, that that would be
- 13:50Speaker 2: pretty cool, you know what I mean. And but but
- 13:54Speaker 2: on the flip side of it, it's like, you know,
- 13:56Speaker 2: to just be able to walk into your place and
- 13:58Speaker 2: just throw your boots on the ground and you know
- 14:02Speaker 2: as where we you know, on the carpet on the
- 14:06Speaker 2: floor mat before you walk in. No, she you know
- 14:08Speaker 2: what I mean. So there are a lot there are
- 14:11Speaker 2: a lot of freedoms that that she has that that
- 14:14Speaker 2: we don't necessarily have or or that we're mindful of.
- 14:18Speaker 2: And then you know the things that I think she
- 14:20Speaker 2: would appreciate her just the the simple necessities that we
- 14:23Speaker 2: take for granted, like electricity for example, you know, they
- 14:27Speaker 2: use solar and and all that stuff, and and just
- 14:31Speaker 2: the running water.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Yeah, did you ever ask her like, would you go
- 14:39Speaker 1: back to living on the grid or do you have
- 14:41Speaker 1: any future desires to live on the grid or was
- 14:45Speaker 1: that never a subject of conversation.
- 14:47Speaker 2: No, we definitely, we definitely had a conversation about that.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But what their plan is is to just kind of
- 14:54Speaker 2: upgrade what they have. They want to they want to
- 14:57Speaker 2: build it all out in the current dwelling to where
- 15:01Speaker 2: you know, they have all the modern you know things
- 15:05Speaker 2: that the necessities, the running water, you know, a good
- 15:09Speaker 2: electrical grid, you know, like a higher powered solar system,
- 15:14Speaker 2: things like that. So their idea is to continue to
- 15:17Speaker 2: upgrade where they're at so they have those things.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Now it didn't reflect on the show, but Tamar
- 15:26Speaker 1: asked me this question, and I don't know how to
- 15:27Speaker 1: answer it, like do they do they not go to
- 15:30Speaker 1: work or is their job like taking care of the
- 15:34Speaker 1: house and the kids daily.
- 15:35Speaker 2: No, they have a they have a pretty cool small business.
- 15:38Speaker 2: They have a fishing gear company, so so they have
- 15:45Speaker 2: their own brand of poles and taxs and like you know,
- 15:50Speaker 2: just hats and all kinds of fishing gear. That's that's,
- 15:55Speaker 2: you know, and they do it all from casting rods
- 15:57Speaker 2: to fly fishing rods and and things like that. I
- 16:01Speaker 2: think recently, just over the last couple of weeks, they've
- 16:05Speaker 2: they've entered a bicell agreement with a partner, so they're
- 16:09Speaker 2: looking at some in that company and then kind of
- 16:12Speaker 2: pivoting to something else. But you know, they they have
- 16:14Speaker 2: had this company for a while now and for them, yeah, yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 2: so they're entrepreneurs on top of it.
- 16:21Speaker 4: You know.
- 16:21Speaker 1: That's so cool.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty cool Edwin.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Have you ever aspired to live off the grid like that?
- 16:28Speaker 3: No, I think I'd be the worst outdoor person ever.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Have you camped or done any of that?
- 16:37Speaker 3: I've done glamping, glamping, have never camped. Not made out
- 16:41Speaker 3: for camping and vote and I grew up pretty rough.
- 16:46Speaker 3: But camping, I that's just not my thing. Yeah, yeah, so,
- 16:50Speaker 3: but I appreciate people that can do it. That's why
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm I'm in awe of all this. It's pretty cool.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Before I met Tamra, I was like you and I said, Leo,
- 17:00Speaker 1: there's the four seasons I am not going. And when
- 17:03Speaker 1: she got me out to the desert and I got
- 17:05Speaker 1: hooked on the desert toys and you know, one of
- 17:08Speaker 1: the one of the most amazing experiences I enjoy about
- 17:12Speaker 1: camping is sitting there around the fire and just staring
- 17:16Speaker 1: at the fire and listening to the crackle of the
- 17:19Speaker 1: fire and just letting my mind calm down and not
- 17:23Speaker 1: think about anything other than what's in front of me.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's the most peaceful experience I could I could think
- 17:29Speaker 1: of when it comes to camping.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's almost a meditative experience, you know, when she's
- 17:35Speaker 2: kind of hanging out, just you know, you can think
- 17:38Speaker 2: freely and no distraction.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I don't know any other way of getting that,
- 17:45Speaker 1: because I do know, and I understand the whole transcendental
- 17:48Speaker 1: meditation and the value of it, but I I just
- 17:50Speaker 1: can't do it yet.
- 17:52Speaker 2: It's tough for me too.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 3: By the way, what was easier to film Housewives are
- 17:59Speaker 3: Over the wive swap.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I was curious about that too.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Well, you know, I think you know, I'll speak for myself.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I mean Housewives was easier because you know, I'm I'm
- 18:10Speaker 2: I have limited uh, I guess exposure on that show,
- 18:15Speaker 2: you know this one, Like I said, you know, we
- 18:17Speaker 2: had we had long days and it was just you're
- 18:19Speaker 2: you're up at you know, six thirty seven am and
- 18:22Speaker 2: you're going until the sun goes down. So you know,
- 18:26Speaker 2: it was a lot more rigorous and there was a
- 18:28Speaker 2: lot more I think a lot more expected, you know,
- 18:32Speaker 2: from me specifically, but I think Angie would say the
- 18:35Speaker 2: same thing too. I mean, even though you know the Housewives,
- 18:39Speaker 2: you know she's filming a ton and she's doing a lot.
- 18:41Speaker 2: But I think just the mere fact that you know,
- 18:44Speaker 2: there was just that those big days, you know, without
- 18:47Speaker 2: any break in between or whatever, it was was much tougher.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Guys, that does sound like a horrible day, you know.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was a great experience, don't get
- 18:58Speaker 2: me wrong, but you know, we were we were tired
- 19:01Speaker 2: by the end of the day.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I bet I did also appreciate watching you do her
- 19:06Speaker 1: hair and giving her the makeup or the like makeover.
- 19:10Speaker 1: That was pretty cool.
- 19:11Speaker 2: She pulled me out of retirement.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so could see you in action. Thanks?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Thanks. Yeah, I mean I haven't done that you know
- 19:19Speaker 2: stuff for quite a while now, but you know, like
- 19:22Speaker 2: I said, I still keep my hands kind of in
- 19:24Speaker 2: it with with like Electra or whatever. But yeah, she
- 19:28Speaker 2: definitely pulled me out of retirement on that one.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Now, they didn't show at least I don't remember if
- 19:35Speaker 1: they showed you guys actually getting your hands dirty in
- 19:38Speaker 1: the fish cleaning? Did you get did you get to
- 19:41Speaker 1: do that, did Electra get to do that? Or were
- 19:43Speaker 1: you guys just watching.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I got to do it. You know, it's something that
- 19:46Speaker 2: I was familiar with, so it was kind of easy
- 19:49Speaker 2: for me to just kind of go in and and
- 19:51Speaker 2: do what, you know, what I've been raised to do. Basically,
- 19:56Speaker 2: you know, we did We've done a lot of fishing
- 19:58Speaker 2: and stuff like that as as we grew up in
- 20:01Speaker 2: my household. But yeah, I got my hands dirty.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Your daughter get into it or she's no.
- 20:08Speaker 2: She was just like no, thanks, you know, I'm good.
- 20:10Speaker 2: You know, right when she was about to kind of
- 20:14Speaker 2: you know, when the Lindsay was going to try to
- 20:16Speaker 2: talk her into it, Marry walked in, so r he
- 20:20Speaker 2: kind of diverted that attention to to whatever she was doing.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So yeah, and you know, I appreciate the fact that
- 20:28Speaker 1: Mary came in and you know, kind of observed what
- 20:32Speaker 1: was going on while her best friend was you know,
- 20:34Speaker 1: yeah right rough in it.
- 20:37Speaker 4: It was.
- 20:38Speaker 2: She was genuinely concerned about both of us. You know,
- 20:42Speaker 2: She's like, I'm gonna go see what Shawn's up to,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and then you know, we need to see if we
- 20:46Speaker 2: need to go save Angie.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yeah, that's hilarious and funny because I have some friends
- 20:52Speaker 1: that do the same thing, Like when my wife goes travels,
- 20:55Speaker 1: they're like, would you like to come over for dinner?
- 20:57Speaker 1: You know, we can do this, we can do that.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not incompetent, you know, I could take
- 21:02Speaker 1: care of myself, right, but I you invited me over.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Well, it's nice that we have people to keep an
- 21:11Speaker 2: eye on us, right.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Yeah. Absolutely.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I also saw that you guys were making a garden.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I can't tell you how much I want to do that.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I just you know, living in a community association where
- 21:23Speaker 1: I live, and you know, I want to have chickens,
- 21:26Speaker 1: but you know, it will get kicked out if from
- 21:29Speaker 1: our joy if we writ chickens. But I just love
- 21:33Speaker 1: that whole part of living on the land, you know,
- 21:38Speaker 1: just as much and as little as possible. Like I
- 21:41Speaker 1: would never have cows, as much as I love cows,
- 21:43Speaker 1: but I when it comes, when it would come to, like,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you know, slaughtering them, I couldn't do it. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: it just couldn't do it. So but I I don't
- 21:52Speaker 1: even know if I could do a chicken if I
- 21:54Speaker 1: had to, But I think I would appreciate the fact
- 21:57Speaker 1: that i'd have, you know, some chickens, laying some AIGs,
- 22:00Speaker 1: some garden, creating some vegetables and fruits. What kind of
- 22:03Speaker 1: what kind of vegetation did you guys grow?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's one of those things too. Like
- 22:09Speaker 2: in our last house we had a little garden we
- 22:11Speaker 2: kind of do kind of the Greek necessities, you know,
- 22:14Speaker 2: like the cucumbers, the tomatoes, you know, the onion stuff
- 22:19Speaker 2: like that. And then when we moved to this house,
- 22:21Speaker 2: we haven't really had a chance to like get you know,
- 22:25Speaker 2: that thing going. So it was a it was great
- 22:29Speaker 2: to actually just kind of do this small box garden
- 22:32Speaker 2: that she recommended we do, and gosh, it didn't ended
- 22:36Speaker 2: up being on. I mean, we do a lot of
- 22:38Speaker 2: Greek salads, and you know it was cool to just
- 22:41Speaker 2: be able to walk out in our backyard grab whatever
- 22:44Speaker 2: we needed and then just bring it to the table.
- 22:47Speaker 2: So you know, that was that was one of the
- 22:49Speaker 2: highlights for me, and it was just kind of one
- 22:51Speaker 2: of those ongoing highlights that we could just go and
- 22:53Speaker 2: do that every day.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and I truly believe it. It teaches your children
- 23:00Speaker 1: and the value of real food, you know, absolutely, because
- 23:04Speaker 1: if they never see where food comes from, they think, oh,
- 23:07Speaker 1: everything comes out of a box. You know, let us
- 23:09Speaker 1: out of a box, right, It just sort that way.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Well it's like you know, you go eat you know,
- 23:15Speaker 2: at a restaurant or whatever. I don't really eat tomatoes
- 23:18Speaker 2: if they're not out of the gard They just don't
- 23:21Speaker 2: taste like anything. So it was good to just get
- 23:23Speaker 2: this natural product out of the ground and you know,
- 23:26Speaker 2: have it taste the way it should taste. And you
- 23:29Speaker 2: know it was it was great.
- 23:31Speaker 1: And then you're absolutely right if you can taste it,
- 23:35Speaker 1: you once, you'll never forget that. My wife and I
- 23:39Speaker 1: were at our big Bear house over the weekend and
- 23:42Speaker 1: we just took the dog for a walk, and we
- 23:43Speaker 1: walked by this house that had this tree with all
- 23:46Speaker 1: these apples on it, and they looked, you know, regular
- 23:49Speaker 1: sized apples. So I said, you know, I'm gonna grab one.
- 23:51Speaker 1: And I think she did a little video clip for Instagram,
- 23:54Speaker 1: because nothing happens in my household that doesn't make it
- 23:56Speaker 1: on Instagram, right. So I pulled the apple, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 1: cleaned it off with my shirt and all that, took
- 24:06Speaker 1: a bite and holy cow, it tasted so damn good.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I like apples, but like lately they have tasted more
- 24:14Speaker 1: like water than apples. Yeah, and it's it's amazing what
- 24:18Speaker 1: natural nature really can't provide without all these chemicals.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yep, it's just you know, it's completely different.
- 24:27Speaker 1: So are you guys keeping up with the garden?
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we kept it up and you know, starting to
- 24:33Speaker 2: get cold here. I had to clean it out last week.
- 24:35Speaker 2: But you know, we we kept it going through the
- 24:38Speaker 2: summer and we had plenty to to utilize everything that
- 24:43Speaker 2: we planted and and you know, we basically used it all.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So oh cool.
- 24:48Speaker 2: That was great.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Sean. By the way, where did you you know you
- 24:52Speaker 3: you have obviously the cosmetology hair salon background, right, yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 3: and then you have this outdoor background that normally is
- 25:00Speaker 3: and they normally don't go together, right right, Horses cosmetatic
- 25:05Speaker 3: like that normally doesn't.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Go together, right, Yeah, they don't. What do they think
- 25:08Speaker 4: that from you?
- 25:10Speaker 2: Well? You know, I mean it was one of those
- 25:12Speaker 2: things where you know, I was always still kind of artistic,
- 25:16Speaker 2: like I love the paint, you know, and I loved
- 25:18Speaker 2: you know, fashion, you know, to a degree. You know,
- 25:23Speaker 2: I cared about, uh, you know, the way I looked
- 25:26Speaker 2: stuff like that. But and I always had that growing up.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I probably picked that up from my mom because she
- 25:34Speaker 2: always looks perfect, you know what I mean. It's like
- 25:36Speaker 2: I've never seen her without makeup or done up, and
- 25:40Speaker 2: you know, I think that rupped off. But you know,
- 25:42Speaker 2: it definitely doesn't go together. And the crazy thing is
- 25:46Speaker 2: is when I was like nineteen, I started dating a
- 25:49Speaker 2: hairdresser and she's like, man, you should think about doing
- 25:51Speaker 2: this because I was raised in construction, and you know
- 25:56Speaker 2: if after a year year and a half, I thought,
- 26:01Speaker 2: you know, this could be cool, you know what I mean.
- 26:03Speaker 2: I saw a documentary on somebody that this is this
- 26:06Speaker 2: guy that was working on supermodels and stuff like that.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I'm like Okay, that could be really good, you know.
- 26:12Speaker 2: So Mitchell, well, yeah, his name happened to be John
- 26:17Speaker 2: sa Hog. He was an editorial stylist back in the day.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And you know, I went signed up for school and
- 26:25Speaker 2: I knew. I knew the first day this is this
- 26:28Speaker 2: was my thing.
- 26:29Speaker 1: So that's awesome.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah, And you know, you do you deal with the stereotypes,
- 26:35Speaker 2: you know, working in that business, you know. But the
- 26:39Speaker 2: strange thing is is, you know, from day one, I
- 26:41Speaker 2: always had a girlfriend or something like that. But you
- 26:44Speaker 2: still deal with it, and you know, you get to
- 26:46Speaker 2: the point where you don't really care. You know, I'd
- 26:48Speaker 2: rather I'd rather do that than mix cement, you know
- 26:52Speaker 2: what I mean, so for a living, So you know,
- 26:56Speaker 2: I really didn't care what people thought, you know. I
- 26:59Speaker 2: just I feel so lucky, you know, over the last
- 27:04Speaker 2: thirty years, thirty two years, that I've been able to
- 27:07Speaker 2: wake up and love what I do.
- 27:17Speaker 1: One of the things I do to keep myself humble
- 27:20Speaker 1: is I haven't done it in a while, but I
- 27:22Speaker 1: go back to the neighborhoods where I grew up and
- 27:25Speaker 1: they're nowhere near where what neighborhood we live in now, right,
- 27:29Speaker 1: So it helps me kind of stay humble and realize
- 27:35Speaker 1: that I've struggled and this is where I used to live,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and I look at the apartment where I grew up.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's literally as big as my office, right, It's crazy. Yeah,
- 27:44Speaker 1: So having that balance you know, of I mean, I
- 27:49Speaker 1: won't I've never done it, but I can't imagine working
- 27:53Speaker 1: and hauling horses around is easy work. I'm sure it's
- 27:56Speaker 1: a lot of hard work. So unless you have you know,
- 28:02Speaker 1: seventeen staff members doing it all for you, you really
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't get the gist of what that culture is about.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And the experience of being around horses is about right, right.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So I love that balance you have where you still
- 28:17Speaker 1: kind of ref it, but you also enjoy the luxuries
- 28:20Speaker 1: of life, and I believe that helps us stay humble
- 28:23Speaker 1: right to understand and not just see, but feel what
- 28:28Speaker 1: it's like not having anything.
- 28:30Speaker 2: You know, it's true, you know, and you see, you know,
- 28:36Speaker 2: you hear it all the time. You know. It's like
- 28:38Speaker 2: people with new money can be a nightmare because they
- 28:41Speaker 2: forget about you know, they try to block out the
- 28:44Speaker 2: past and then some of the trials and some of
- 28:47Speaker 2: the things that tested them, you know, through their early
- 28:51Speaker 2: life or whatever. But you know, for me, I much
- 28:54Speaker 2: like you, I do the same thing. I go visit
- 28:56Speaker 2: my old house, I drive through my old neighborhood, I
- 29:00Speaker 2: go look at my old church, stuff like that, And
- 29:04Speaker 2: I think it really does just kind of bring you
- 29:06Speaker 2: back to center, right, and I think it brings you
- 29:10Speaker 2: back to a place of gratitude for sure. You know,
- 29:15Speaker 2: from day one, you know, I've always had to work
- 29:18Speaker 2: for what I have. You know, my parents, you know,
- 29:21Speaker 2: were entrepreneurs. There were ebbs and flows, and sometimes there
- 29:25Speaker 2: was a little bit more, and then sometimes there wasn't anything.
- 29:28Speaker 2: So you know, I knew if I if I wanted
- 29:32Speaker 2: a new bike or a new skateboard or some new shoes,
- 29:36Speaker 2: that I had to go out and figure out a
- 29:39Speaker 2: way to do it, you know what I mean. So,
- 29:41Speaker 2: and to this day, if there's a penny on the ground,
- 29:45Speaker 2: I won't walk over it. I pick it up and
- 29:47Speaker 2: I kiss it and I put it in my pocket.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, my own wife always says, you know, we don't
- 29:53Speaker 1: live in in the ghetto anymore. A penny is a penny, man,
- 29:58Speaker 1: even if it was a half a dam Yeah, that's dirty.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Don't pick it up now. I'm picking it up and
- 30:03Speaker 2: I'm kissing it and I'm putting it in my pocket.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Because you know what the value of copper is right now?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yeah, right, right, amazing how that stuff changes, Right.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Hey, Edwin, how do you stay humble?
- 30:17Speaker 4: I mean I think the same thing.
- 30:18Speaker 3: So I'd love looking at like going back, and uh,
- 30:22Speaker 3: you know, I still hang out with like all my
- 30:24Speaker 3: buddies that I grew up with. In fact, I just
- 30:26Speaker 3: took them to the Dodger game for the Championship series.
- 30:29Speaker 3: It was like six of us and and then we
- 30:31Speaker 3: ran into three other guys that we grew up with,
- 30:33Speaker 3: and just you know, those childhood friends, I mean, to me,
- 30:38Speaker 3: the the For whatever reason, I was telling them this
- 30:40Speaker 3: the other day, some of my best experiences were with them.
- 30:45Speaker 3: And I think as a child, because you really had
- 30:48Speaker 3: no worries back then, even though it was this humble
- 30:53Speaker 3: beginnings for me, Like I didn't have to worry about work.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I just was out there playing, having a good time
- 30:58Speaker 3: with the with the boys. Yeah, but stuff like that,
- 31:02Speaker 3: Like for me, the humility has always been sort of
- 31:04Speaker 3: for I've always felt like it could all be taken away. Yeah,
- 31:09Speaker 3: in a second, one bad move and it's all gone.
- 31:13Speaker 3: And I think That's why I've never taken it for granted,
- 31:16Speaker 3: you know, yep, and knowing what that other side tastes
- 31:19Speaker 3: like as well, Right, I want one bad movie, You'll
- 31:22Speaker 3: go back to that lifestyle.
- 31:23Speaker 1: So, you know, funny funny thing is, I've always told
- 31:28Speaker 1: myself I've been there. If I lose it all and
- 31:30Speaker 1: i have to start over, it's not a big deal
- 31:32Speaker 1: because I've done it before. And this was, you know,
- 31:36Speaker 1: most of my mentality growing up the last thirty years,
- 31:40Speaker 1: trying to make you know, something of myself. And today
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't want to start over. Fuck that,
- 31:48Speaker 1: I don't want to go backwards anymore.
- 31:50Speaker 2: The good part is you know where you you know
- 31:53Speaker 2: that you can you know, and I think, you know,
- 31:57Speaker 2: three of us guys here like we know we could
- 32:00Speaker 2: what if we had to, although we don't. But I
- 32:02Speaker 2: think a scarier place is preservation mode. You know, you
- 32:06Speaker 2: don't want to be so scared to take risks that
- 32:10Speaker 2: you know you're you're not in creative mind and building
- 32:14Speaker 2: something right, So but you know, it is great to
- 32:18Speaker 2: know that we could do it if we had to.
- 32:20Speaker 3: One of the things that I've appreciated over the years
- 32:24Speaker 3: has been, you know, when I first met Teddy, I
- 32:26Speaker 3: lived in the big house. It was probably six thousand
- 32:29Speaker 3: square feet, and I started staying at Teddy's condo, which
- 32:33Speaker 3: was like eight hundred square feet, right, And I found it,
- 32:38Speaker 3: like I enjoyed going from a big house to a
- 32:42Speaker 3: smaller condo. It's just something about waking up and just
- 32:45Speaker 3: being able to just go to the kitchen, like, yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 3: it's pretty cool.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Right.
- 32:49Speaker 3: And similarly, now, like the girl I'm dating, same things,
- 32:54Speaker 3: she lives in a nice little condo and it's nice
- 32:57Speaker 3: to just be able to just go and everything's right,
- 33:00Speaker 3: right it versus a big house. It simplifies things, right,
- 33:06Speaker 3: simplifies things to be said about it. I feel a
- 33:11Speaker 3: lot of peace, yeah, in in that.
- 33:16Speaker 1: So that's I got a funny story for you guys.
- 33:19Speaker 1: The last couple of years when we bought a house
- 33:21Speaker 1: in Big Bear. It's a small little house, probably twenty
- 33:23Speaker 1: five hundred square feet, four bedrooms, and we've redone it.
- 33:28Speaker 1: And that's because Tammer just loves that's kind of like
- 33:31Speaker 1: her escape, you know, just to redo the house inside
- 33:34Speaker 1: it out, and she just loves it. So we did
- 33:36Speaker 1: a great job with this house and now we've made
- 33:38Speaker 1: it our own. It's very cozy. It feels like at home,
- 33:41Speaker 1: and you know, we get when we have guests over,
- 33:43Speaker 1: they love the what she's done to it. So it
- 33:45Speaker 1: feels good that her creativity is you know, appreciated.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:50Speaker 1: So, now that we're done with that phase, we're like, well,
- 33:53Speaker 1: should we get a bigger house out here in Big Bear?
- 33:55Speaker 1: And the first thing I'm thinking, like, I'm the one
- 33:58Speaker 1: that has to clean this damn yard. Yeah, And this
- 34:01Speaker 1: last week, because of the season we're in, I had to.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I mean it's not a lot of work, but I
- 34:06Speaker 1: had to blow all the leaves and acorns off the
- 34:10Speaker 1: deck and just clean the damn yard. But normally I
- 34:14Speaker 1: do that when we get there and then it's done.
- 34:16Speaker 1: This last week, I was doing it every other day
- 34:19Speaker 1: because it was coming down that hard and I'm like,
- 34:21Speaker 1: I'm done with these trees. Were taking them out right.
- 34:24Speaker 1: But my thought was like, do I really want to
- 34:27Speaker 1: live up here? Because this is a lot of freaking work.
- 34:30Speaker 1: And then we went to a Octoberfest celebration, which is fun.
- 34:37Speaker 1: It's so unique up there because it's such a different environment.
- 34:41Speaker 1: And we met a young couple that were friends of
- 34:44Speaker 1: friends that live here in Madera and their parents own
- 34:47Speaker 1: one of the biggest houses that's near the slopes. There's
- 34:50Speaker 1: a street called Switzerland that's right by the slopes. Right
- 34:55Speaker 1: The actual street is a shithold. There's potholes everywhere. But
- 34:59Speaker 1: when we first moved up there, you know, we're kind
- 35:01Speaker 1: of looking around, walking around, and we walked by this
- 35:04Speaker 1: neighborhood and there's like five or six giant homes like
- 35:07Speaker 1: ten thousand square foot two acres, like you can see
- 35:11Speaker 1: it from the street, and you're like, who the hell
- 35:12Speaker 1: buys or owns a house that big, eight bedrooms, you know,
- 35:16Speaker 1: it's like giant. So they invited us over and sure enough,
- 35:19Speaker 1: it's that big, giant house that's for sale. It's eight bedrooms,
- 35:23Speaker 1: it's tall, tall, like twenty five thirty foot ceilings. It
- 35:27Speaker 1: was incredible to see. But what was the first thing
- 35:30Speaker 1: that I thought? Can you imagine the maintenance on this
- 35:33Speaker 1: fucking house?
- 35:34Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, no, thank you.
- 35:38Speaker 1: I don't want it.
- 35:39Speaker 2: It's a lot. It's never ending when you get into
- 35:42Speaker 2: that range, you know.
- 35:44Speaker 1: And again I also appreciate and understand. You know, if
- 35:48Speaker 1: you have that kind of money, you probably not blowing
- 35:52Speaker 1: your own down.
- 35:53Speaker 2: You know, you're probably right.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But and it's not that I can't afford it. I
- 35:58Speaker 1: just I like doing that stuff because it makes me
- 36:01Speaker 1: feel young, right. It makes me feel like I can
- 36:05Speaker 1: when I get stiff because I haven't moved, or I
- 36:07Speaker 1: haven't exercise or I haven't worked out. You guys know
- 36:09Speaker 1: that feeling. You feel stagnant, you feel sick, you feel
- 36:12Speaker 1: like you're getting old. So I like to move and
- 36:15Speaker 1: do things. And that's the main reason why I do
- 36:18Speaker 1: my own kind of lawn keeping at the house in
- 36:21Speaker 1: Big Beer. First of all, there's not a lot to do.
- 36:23Speaker 1: It's just blow leaves, right and during the winter, you know,
- 36:27Speaker 1: I have gone out there and blowing the snow off
- 36:30Speaker 1: the driveway. It took me two hours. But it makes
- 36:33Speaker 1: me feel young. It makes me feel like as long
- 36:36Speaker 1: as I could still dig a hole or ditch with
- 36:39Speaker 1: that shovelin, I think I'm doing pretty good health wise.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Well, I'm with you on that, you know, And it's
- 36:44Speaker 2: certainly not that you couldn't hire somebody to do it,
- 36:47Speaker 2: but you know, if you can do it, and you
- 36:51Speaker 2: can make time to do it, you feel you feel
- 36:54Speaker 2: responsible and capable, right, Like it makes sense, like if
- 36:59Speaker 2: you have the ability to fix something in your yard
- 37:02Speaker 2: or on your house. You feel capable, you know. So,
- 37:06Speaker 2: so I'm with you on that. I try. I try
- 37:08Speaker 2: to only hire out what I have to, right.
- 37:11Speaker 3: I think the keyword there, Sean, is if you can.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah for me, I watch those reels of like people
- 37:19Speaker 3: trying to do handyman shit and they always get hurt.
- 37:22Speaker 3: They'll fall from the ladder or some shit just happens.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I'm like, that would be me do some handyman stuff.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I would get hurt.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Well, when you get at my advanced stage, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 2: you definitely want to stay away from a ladder if
- 37:35Speaker 2: it's over ten feet, you know for sure.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I used to have no problem climbing trees when I
- 37:41Speaker 1: was a kid, and I didn't even think about the fall.
- 37:43Speaker 1: But now when I go up a big ladder like that,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I'm like, maybe I should hire somebody.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, when you hit the ground, it's going to
- 37:50Speaker 2: be a little bit different these you know, Sean, So,
- 37:54Speaker 2: did you after just going back to the show, is
- 37:57Speaker 2: there anything that you experienced on the show that you're
- 38:00Speaker 2: gonna implement now.
- 38:03Speaker 4: With with the wife swap?
- 38:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the household, Well, I'm definitely gonna keep that garden up.
- 38:11Speaker 2: There's no doubt about that. But you know, I think
- 38:13Speaker 2: in addition to that, you know, it's just me and
- 38:16Speaker 2: Angie coming together and seeing that you know, she doesn't
- 38:19Speaker 2: have to create so much busy work for herself. You know.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I think sometimes like at the end of the day,
- 38:25Speaker 2: you know, so so me and Electra like to sit
- 38:28Speaker 2: down and watch a movie or a series, you know,
- 38:31Speaker 2: at the end of the day, and it's just kind
- 38:33Speaker 2: of our way to chill. But more importantly, it's really
- 38:40Speaker 2: the only time I get to have Electra sitting right
- 38:42Speaker 2: next to me, and I love that, you know what
- 38:45Speaker 2: I mean. And it's like, even though we're watching something,
- 38:47Speaker 2: you know, we'll have a conversation about you know, a
- 38:50Speaker 2: scene or whatever. I'll tease her about something or you know,
- 38:55Speaker 2: if there's you know, right now, she's really into like
- 38:59Speaker 2: Cobra Kai and Stranger Things. And it's like when we're
- 39:03Speaker 2: watching that, I'm like, I'm like, so, so, who do
- 39:05Speaker 2: you have a crush on? You know, so I can
- 39:07Speaker 2: start doing things like that, you know what I mean.
- 39:10Speaker 2: And you know, it's just really a special time for
- 39:14Speaker 2: me because she's right next to me. I get to hugger,
- 39:17Speaker 2: I get to have my arm around her stuff like that. So, yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 2: it's such a.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Good point Sean, by the way, in regards to busy work,
- 39:25Speaker 3: like I've found myself prior to all the stuff with
- 39:30Speaker 3: Teddy's situation, in our situation, I was always creating busy
- 39:34Speaker 3: work for myself. And one of the things that I've
- 39:38Speaker 3: learned from going through this situation is I stopped with
- 39:41Speaker 3: the busy work and I've found myself with a lot
- 39:44Speaker 3: more time to enjoy stuff right right. It's interesting that
- 39:48Speaker 3: you said that, because it's a very true thing, like
- 39:50Speaker 3: you just start creating busy work and you're just busy,
- 39:52Speaker 3: Like I literally would look for stuff to do or
- 39:56Speaker 3: look for wrong things, like I've got to check on
- 39:58Speaker 3: this because some be going wrong herest part and I've
- 40:04Speaker 3: just kind of let go. And it's probably so much peace.
- 40:07Speaker 2: No, it really does. And you know, and I think
- 40:10Speaker 2: the other we get, the more more knowledge we gain
- 40:13Speaker 2: in terms of like this situation in general, not having
- 40:17Speaker 2: the busy work. It's like, you know, there's always something
- 40:21Speaker 2: that can be done or whatever, but do you need
- 40:24Speaker 2: to does it have to be done right now? And
- 40:26Speaker 2: is my special time with my daughter more important than
- 40:30Speaker 2: sweeping the garage or whatever. And I you know, what
- 40:33Speaker 2: I hope Angie kind of finds or has found, you know,
- 40:38Speaker 2: is is that you don't have to be doing shit
- 40:41Speaker 2: twenty four to seven, right, like, come and have a
- 40:45Speaker 2: seat with us, you know, and experience what I experience,
- 40:49Speaker 2: you know. And she's definitely been a little bit better,
- 40:54Speaker 2: you know, obviously you know she's airing right now, so
- 40:56Speaker 2: she's on the phone still with but you know, it's
- 41:00Speaker 2: like I think it used to drive her, not its
- 41:02Speaker 2: when she used to see us sitting there, you know,
- 41:05Speaker 2: kind of doing this thing, and it's like, look, this
- 41:08Speaker 2: is special to me. I'm not changing it. You know.
- 41:10Speaker 2: You can call me lazy whatever you want, but I'm
- 41:13Speaker 2: doing it still. Yeah, so I'll get I'll get my
- 41:16Speaker 2: shit done, you know.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Because it takes us five seconds, you know, five minutes.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you do that five minutes. Yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate the scene where I think you guys
- 41:30Speaker 1: were on the couch and you're invited to come watch
- 41:32Speaker 1: TV with you and she looks back. Angie looks back
- 41:34Speaker 1: and goes, I got a good d laundry, and I
- 41:38Speaker 1: gotta do this and I gotta do that, Like, oh
- 41:41Speaker 1: my god, what a great scene.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, you know, it's funny because that scene, you know,
- 41:46Speaker 2: she's spraying off the counter and I'd done up five
- 41:49Speaker 2: minutes before that. It's like, all right, whatever, that happens
- 41:55Speaker 2: a lot, you know, it's just like, dude, I just
- 41:56Speaker 2: did that.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 1: One of the things that I remember was said on
- 42:10Speaker 1: the show was that she wanted to at the end
- 42:13Speaker 1: of this experience, wanted to wanted you guys to really
- 42:18Speaker 1: miss her and and and appreciate how much she does
- 42:21Speaker 1: for you. And how how accurate or or how how
- 42:27Speaker 1: was that after she had, you know, been to the
- 42:31Speaker 1: farm and came back. How was that effective in her thought?
- 42:36Speaker 1: Or did she completely decide, you know what, that's not
- 42:39Speaker 1: what I want my kids or my family to do.
- 42:42Speaker 1: It's miss me while I'm gone. Does that make sense?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Does that question make sense?
- 42:47Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, so, you know, I mean, here, here's the thing.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Here's the thing about this, this this whole process was
- 42:57Speaker 2: like it was pretty fast. I think it was over
- 42:58Speaker 2: three or four days is yeah, and we were grinding
- 43:02Speaker 2: the whole time, you know what I mean. So, so
- 43:06Speaker 2: like it seemed like it was so quick there really
- 43:12Speaker 2: wasn't enough time to to think about like oh I
- 43:15Speaker 2: miss Angie or anything like that, you know, I think so,
- 43:20Speaker 2: I think it was a little bit too fast.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Now.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Had it been like you know the old wife swap
- 43:24Speaker 2: days where they go for like a couple of weeks,
- 43:27Speaker 2: I think that would have given us a big enough
- 43:30Speaker 2: break to actually, Okay, we need mom back now, because
- 43:34Speaker 2: you know, although I think I would have had a
- 43:37Speaker 2: great experience either way. You know, there's something about getting
- 43:41Speaker 2: back into your routine and it's like, Oh, can't wait
- 43:44Speaker 2: for Angie to get back and I can go and
- 43:46Speaker 2: do my thing, you know what I mean.
- 43:48Speaker 1: So, was there one or two or three things that
- 43:55Speaker 1: in the short period of time you were apart that
- 43:57Speaker 1: you wish, like you realize, oh, I do miss this
- 44:01Speaker 1: about her other than her presence, right, you know, what
- 44:05Speaker 1: was that one thing, if any, that you remember, like
- 44:08Speaker 1: I wish Angie was here?
- 44:10Speaker 2: No, I mean, you know you mentioned the biggest thing,
- 44:13Speaker 2: and I think her presence, you know, is always missed.
- 44:18Speaker 2: You know, her humor, Lindsay Lindsay, although I think she's
- 44:23Speaker 2: got a great sense of humor, I think she was
- 44:25Speaker 2: just kind of a deer in headlights in the process,
- 44:28Speaker 2: So you didn't see a lot of that but you
- 44:30Speaker 2: know the sense of humor and and just you know,
- 44:33Speaker 2: I think Elector would tell you she would miss eavesdropping
- 44:37Speaker 2: on the conversations that she's having with Mary or or
- 44:42Speaker 2: Heather one of those girls, because I think that's always
- 44:45Speaker 2: fun for Electra to kind of want to be a
- 44:49Speaker 2: part of you.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Know, that's funny.
- 44:51Speaker 3: What was it like meeting the family? The Flake family?
- 44:55Speaker 3: You guys had a watch party, right, What was that like?
- 44:57Speaker 2: We did? Yeah, we had a watch party.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Was that the first time I met the husband?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, that was the first time I'd met the
- 45:03Speaker 2: husband and kids, and it was awesome. Like, you know,
- 45:07Speaker 2: when Angie came back, she just she just fell in
- 45:09Speaker 2: love with the kids, and she loved Tanner, you know,
- 45:13Speaker 2: just such a great guy, just a you know, just
- 45:16Speaker 2: a good old boy. Yeah, and you know, she really
- 45:21Speaker 2: really fell in love with those guys. And when she
- 45:23Speaker 2: told me that they were going to come and do
- 45:24Speaker 2: this watch party, I was like, and spend the night
- 45:27Speaker 2: at our house. I was like, oh, that's you know,
- 45:31Speaker 2: for a minute, they're actually going to spend the night, Okay,
- 45:34Speaker 2: all right, cool, I get that. And then you know,
- 45:38Speaker 2: they got here and they're just a warm just They've
- 45:41Speaker 2: got a very healthy, dynamic family dynamic. They all work
- 45:46Speaker 2: together daily and and it shows in their relationship, you know.
- 45:51Speaker 2: So we had a blast. It was fun to have
- 45:54Speaker 2: him here, and I have him here over and over again.
- 45:57Speaker 1: That's so cool. I remember unseen where I think you
- 46:03Speaker 1: had to do with the rules. And Angie took them
- 46:06Speaker 1: all out to dinner because she couldn't eat at home anymore.
- 46:10Speaker 2: She didn't want any more ox tail.
- 46:12Speaker 1: You didn't want any more oxtail? Yeah, no thanks, And
- 46:15Speaker 1: then she gave the kids ice cream or an ice
- 46:19Speaker 1: cream Sunday or something like that, and they're like, it's
- 46:21Speaker 1: not good for us, but it was so good, right,
- 46:25Speaker 1: And they're young, they're little kids like thinking like that already,
- 46:28Speaker 1: Like I am not putting chunk in my body, I
- 46:31Speaker 1: mean exactly. You know they're going to be pretty healthy.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Yeah. They truly live off the land. You know. If
- 46:36Speaker 2: you can cool, you can kill it, pick it out
- 46:39Speaker 2: of the ground, or pull it off a tree. That's
- 46:41Speaker 2: what they do. You know.
- 46:43Speaker 4: So did you.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Were you surprised or confirmed when you saw them, you know,
- 46:49Speaker 1: the family over did you understand Lindsay a little bit
- 46:52Speaker 1: better now that you saw the family dynamics when you
- 46:54Speaker 1: guys did that watch party?
- 46:56Speaker 2: No, you could definitely, you know, I definitely had a
- 46:59Speaker 2: better understand you know, I think I had my head
- 47:03Speaker 2: wrapped around it. But when you see them together, you
- 47:06Speaker 2: can you know there's just something special there that they
- 47:10Speaker 2: really have together. And like I said, I think it's
- 47:14Speaker 2: you know, it's one of those things where they wake
- 47:16Speaker 2: up together and then they do everything throughout the day
- 47:19Speaker 2: together and you know, it really just it definitely builds
- 47:24Speaker 2: like a lot of I don't know, I think there's
- 47:27Speaker 2: a lot of love and a lot of character, and
- 47:30Speaker 2: you know, they they they're a great family.
- 47:32Speaker 4: Did you do the watch party at your house?
- 47:34Speaker 2: We did? Yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 4: We make them take off their shoes.
- 47:37Speaker 2: You know. You know what's funny is they do that anyway.
- 47:40Speaker 2: We don't make you know, if we're gonna have people over,
- 47:42Speaker 2: we don't. We never tell people to do that, you know.
- 47:45Speaker 2: But the boy they walk in, they drop their shoes,
- 47:49Speaker 2: and you know, they're so polite, well mannered and just
- 47:52Speaker 2: great people.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see how strong the family can be
- 48:00Speaker 1: when they're going through what they're going through. Not that
- 48:03Speaker 1: they have to, but by choice, right, they made a
- 48:06Speaker 1: choice to do this together because we all have a choice.
- 48:09Speaker 1: And the thing that stuck out was they have a
- 48:13Speaker 1: choice to just simplify their life and make their family
- 48:17Speaker 1: core unit the most important thing, because one thing I
- 48:22Speaker 1: learned about having a gym is when you experience something
- 48:26Speaker 1: hard like a spartan race or even in the CrossFit world,
- 48:30Speaker 1: right when you experience something really really tough in life
- 48:34Speaker 1: like picking up something heavy, or for that matter, if
- 48:37Speaker 1: you go hunting and you kill a big giant animal,
- 48:40Speaker 1: you bond with that person and you have this life experience.
- 48:44Speaker 1: And that's what this family has been doing together to
- 48:48Speaker 1: build that core strength of their family. Right right, they
- 48:53Speaker 1: could easily make a right turn and live off their
- 48:56Speaker 1: business and go spend a bunch of money on how
- 49:00Speaker 1: and struggle like most of America live on debt and
- 49:02Speaker 1: all that, But that's not the same. That doesn't build
- 49:06Speaker 1: the core unit of the relationship that you need to
- 49:09Speaker 1: be a strong family. Like I doubt they'll ever get
- 49:13Speaker 1: divorced because they're so strong, And I doubt the kids
- 49:16Speaker 1: will ever stop talking to them or hate them because
- 49:19Speaker 1: they made them go through this. You know that the
- 49:22Speaker 1: strength and experience they had together as a family, I
- 49:26Speaker 1: think is gonna build for the rest of their lives.
- 49:29Speaker 1: They're gonna they're gonna kids, are gonna get older, They're
- 49:31Speaker 1: gonna look back and like, yeah, I grew up in
- 49:33Speaker 1: a farm kind of you know, living off the land,
- 49:36Speaker 1: and now I'm a you know, financial executive making a
- 49:40Speaker 1: ton of money, But I appreciate where I came from, right.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I agree. I think I think
- 49:47Speaker 2: the bond is definitely different when you're with your family
- 49:51Speaker 2: twenty four to seven. You know, it's like, you know,
- 49:54Speaker 2: you live in the routine that we live in, and
- 49:56Speaker 2: you know, I drop Electra office school, and you know
- 50:00Speaker 2: what am I missing? You know what kind of like
- 50:02Speaker 2: little subtleties am I missing when she's at school, Like,
- 50:06Speaker 2: you know, these guys get to maybe be a part
- 50:08Speaker 2: of or overhear maybe you know, they're boys talking about
- 50:12Speaker 2: a girl or you know, or things like that. You
- 50:15Speaker 2: know that that I'm going to miss, you know, when
- 50:18Speaker 2: she's at school talking about boys with her girlfriends, right, Like,
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'm not going to be able to overhear and engage
- 50:23Speaker 2: in those conversations. So you know, there is something special
- 50:27Speaker 2: and I think, you know, people that choose to kind
- 50:29Speaker 2: of live that way you know, if all those children
- 50:32Speaker 2: don't do it, at least a couple of them will,
- 50:35Speaker 2: and it carries on this strong family bond, you know,
- 50:40Speaker 2: for generations.
- 50:41Speaker 1: I think I believe too. I believe one hundred percent.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I Like one situation that comes to mind right now
- 50:49Speaker 1: is kind of what Edwin is going through. And he
- 50:52Speaker 1: has to split his time, you know, with the kids,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and I know that affects the time you miss right when,
- 51:00Speaker 1: like when you're not with the kids, even though it's
- 51:02Speaker 1: kind of nice to have that freedom to go do
- 51:05Speaker 1: what you're doing with yourself, you know, to to try
- 51:09Speaker 1: to get through this hard part of your life. Do
- 51:12Speaker 1: you miss those times? And how do you make up
- 51:15Speaker 1: for those times when you're not with the kids.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Well, it hasn't happened.
- 51:19Speaker 3: I mean it was going to happen, and then with
- 51:21Speaker 3: the situation that happened, everything was sort of changed. Now
- 51:25Speaker 3: I pretty much see them every day because I come
- 51:29Speaker 3: I typically come home around five thirty and then I
- 51:33Speaker 3: take Cruise to football practice, and when I come back,
- 51:37Speaker 3: I get to hang out with the kids. Oh it's
- 51:39Speaker 3: almost like I'm here from like five thirty to nine,
- 51:42Speaker 3: and then I go back home. So I'm seeing them
- 51:45Speaker 3: every day. So but I know before that, you know,
- 51:48Speaker 3: we were planning the whole seven days in s out.
- 51:52Speaker 3: We never got to that part, so I still haven't
- 51:56Speaker 3: really you know, but like that said, like I was
- 51:59Speaker 3: able to go away for a weekend. You know, I'm
- 52:01Speaker 3: still able to do like those kind of things, but I.
- 52:03Speaker 4: Used to do that before.
- 52:05Speaker 3: So as far as like time schedule with the kids, like,
- 52:08Speaker 3: none of that is really changed yet, although as Steady
- 52:13Speaker 3: gets better, we'll probably you know, start going that route again.
- 52:17Speaker 4: But obviously right now, the main thing is making sure
- 52:20Speaker 4: she's healthy.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 52:22Speaker 3: But yeah, and Sean, I had a question for you,
- 52:25Speaker 3: just kind of back to what you said earlier about
- 52:29Speaker 3: housewives being a little tougher for you. Then I'm sorry
- 52:33Speaker 3: how a wife swap being tougher than the housewives because
- 52:37Speaker 3: in housewives you're not sort of the main character.
- 52:40Speaker 4: You don't have as much dialogue. It's part of that.
- 52:43Speaker 3: And part of the question is my own experience was
- 52:46Speaker 3: you know, when I was on Housewives, I was so
- 52:48Speaker 3: worried about what I didn't want to say the wrong thing,
- 52:51Speaker 3: so I.
- 52:52Speaker 4: Just chose to stay quiet because.
- 52:54Speaker 3: I'm like, man, if I say something wrong, my business
- 52:57Speaker 3: is gonna you know, go downhill or people off, and
- 53:01Speaker 3: what if I pissed some of the wives off that
- 53:03Speaker 3: work that that work with where their husbands work with me.
- 53:08Speaker 3: You know, I was in my head in that, so
- 53:09Speaker 3: I just chose to stay quiet. Was that one of
- 53:12Speaker 3: the reasons why I was sort of tough? Like did
- 53:14Speaker 3: you have to like second guess what you were going
- 53:15Speaker 3: to say? Were you're in your head like that or
- 53:17Speaker 3: was that well you pretty just open with the whole. Hey,
- 53:22Speaker 3: I'm I'm I'm the star of the show here.
- 53:24Speaker 4: I got to speak up and I got to do
- 53:26Speaker 4: some stuff, you know, I got to perform, perform.
- 53:30Speaker 2: You know. It's interesting, you know when you choose to
- 53:34Speaker 2: to kind of dive into this TV thing, like like
- 53:37Speaker 2: initially you think, you know, I do I have to
- 53:40Speaker 2: be careful, but you know I thought for myself, like
- 53:43Speaker 2: you know, first season of Housewives, I was like, I
- 53:48Speaker 2: just got to be me.
- 53:49Speaker 1: You know.
- 53:49Speaker 2: And I think at the end of the day, you
- 53:51Speaker 2: get criticism, right, so you're damned if you do, and
- 53:54Speaker 2: you're damned if you don't. And you know, and I
- 53:58Speaker 2: just told Angie, like we have disagreement that we're just
- 54:01Speaker 2: going to be authentic no matter what you know, so
- 54:04Speaker 2: and you know not to say that you don't second
- 54:07Speaker 2: guess yourself in a certain scene or whatever. But you know,
- 54:11Speaker 2: screw it. You know, we're in this information age where
- 54:14Speaker 2: you know, even if if you do say something or
- 54:18Speaker 2: maybe behave in a certain way, I mean, shit, within
- 54:22Speaker 2: twenty four to forty eight hours, they're onto the next
- 54:24Speaker 2: dramatic thing. So you know, for me, I was just like,
- 54:28Speaker 2: I'm just gonna be me. You know, that's it. Like
- 54:30Speaker 2: what you see is what you get. If you like it, great,
- 54:32Speaker 2: If you don't, I'm too old to care.
- 54:34Speaker 1: You know. That takes a lot of pressure off, for sure.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it does. I just you just got to do
- 54:41Speaker 2: your thing.
- 54:42Speaker 1: And that's funny you say that, because that was the
- 54:44Speaker 1: exact same mentality I had going into filming the show
- 54:47Speaker 1: the first time, The Housewife show. Yeah, and I normally
- 54:52Speaker 1: I don't learn very quick when it comes to relationships.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I don't know why, but there's sometimes I learned really
- 55:00Speaker 1: really fast, and in this particular instance, I learned really
- 55:03Speaker 1: really quick that it doesn't matter what I say, you know,
- 55:08Speaker 1: going back to Edwin's point, like I don't want to
- 55:10Speaker 1: say the wrong thing because it might affect me. What
- 55:14Speaker 1: I learned is it's how it's edited. So you could
- 55:18Speaker 1: say the right thing at the right time to be
- 55:21Speaker 1: the perfect guy, but somehow they willk you. I don't
- 55:25Speaker 1: know how, but they have a good way of just
- 55:28Speaker 1: making you look like an asthma. So I said, all right,
- 55:30Speaker 1: I'm shutting up and I'm staying out of it.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you're not going to win this, this whole
- 55:36Speaker 2: online stuff. It's like, you know, you could, you could
- 55:39Speaker 2: say the right thing ten out of ten times, and
- 55:43Speaker 2: you're still going to have trolls that just decide that
- 55:46Speaker 2: they can't stand you, right, and it's like whatever, you know.
- 55:51Speaker 2: You know.
- 55:52Speaker 1: A funny thing is I've recently made a hard decision
- 55:56Speaker 1: that two things. I started taking time off of Instagram,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and for some reason, I don't know why, I felt
- 56:02Speaker 1: compelled to post that I'm taking a break okay in
- 56:07Speaker 1: case you guys you know, miss me for a week.
- 56:09Speaker 4: Oh god, I don't know.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Why do I have to ask permission? But the other
- 56:13Speaker 1: thing is I started really using the whole blocking tool
- 56:19Speaker 1: before they I didn't use it because it was about
- 56:22Speaker 1: having numbers, you know, followers and all that. When you
- 56:25Speaker 1: block them, it reduces it, and it was just stupid
- 56:27Speaker 1: shit to think about. Like, I don't need numbers. It's
- 56:30Speaker 1: all about engagement, right, And so I can't tell you
- 56:33Speaker 1: how gratifying it is to just block these idiots, these
- 56:36Speaker 1: trolls you're talking about. I mean, it feels so good.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:40Speaker 1: And even if they are not saying anything about me,
- 56:43Speaker 1: maybe they're saying something about my guests. Like when we
- 56:45Speaker 1: do our podcast and you know, we have you on
- 56:47Speaker 1: the show and somebody says, oh, he's gay.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Yeah block.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You know, I don't need any of this negative shit,
- 56:53Speaker 1: because that's exactly how I live my life, right, you know,
- 56:57Speaker 1: when I'm around people that are negative answer is and
- 57:01Speaker 1: just hate everybody else. I don't want to be around
- 57:03Speaker 1: that absolutely blocked.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I do it too. I do the same thing.
- 57:09Speaker 2: It's just like, you know, but what's interesting though, is
- 57:12Speaker 2: like you know, you'll click on a person who has
- 57:15Speaker 2: something negative to say, zero followers, zero post It's like,
- 57:19Speaker 2: who's trolling?
- 57:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 57:20Speaker 2: It's like if you're gonna, you know, put your money
- 57:23Speaker 2: where your mouth is, Like if you feel this way
- 57:25Speaker 2: about me, show me who you are. Yeah, you know
- 57:27Speaker 2: what I mean. But you know a lot of these
- 57:29Speaker 2: people It's like, who knows, maybe it's one of the
- 57:31Speaker 2: other housewives that has a troll account, you know what
- 57:34Speaker 2: I mean.
- 57:35Speaker 1: And you know that's more common. That's coin now, you know.
- 57:39Speaker 1: And it all started in New Jersey and it's made
- 57:41Speaker 1: its way to California and the east the West coast.
- 57:44Speaker 1: But it is it is true that these guys, you know,
- 57:47Speaker 1: will create these fake accounts just just just to harass you, right.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, bananas. I don't understand that mentality. You know,
- 57:56Speaker 2: if I have something to say to somebody, I'll just
- 57:58Speaker 2: call them. Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, it's bizarre.
- 58:04Speaker 3: As we wrap up, Sean, if you were allowed to
- 58:06Speaker 3: choose a wife from the Housewives, which one would you
- 58:11Speaker 3: do a swap with?
- 58:13Speaker 1: And we don't count Are you talking Salt Lake.
- 58:18Speaker 4: Any enfranchises?
- 58:19Speaker 1: Yeah, except because you know we're friends.
- 58:22Speaker 2: So gosh, you know that is something that I've never
- 58:30Speaker 2: thought about, But you know, I will say that, you know,
- 58:37Speaker 2: somebody like Meani Leaks or somebody like that would be
- 58:41Speaker 2: a riot, I think to my house or yeah it
- 58:46Speaker 2: could be it could be awesome, or it could be
- 58:50Speaker 2: an absolute disaster, But somebody like that would be I
- 58:54Speaker 2: think hilarious to kind of have in my house and
- 58:58Speaker 2: kind of hit her in the gym and you know,
- 59:02Speaker 2: get the leaf flower out, clean up the yard, the
- 59:05Speaker 2: you know, just stuff like that.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I could see the finding that. I could totally see
- 59:09Speaker 1: that that could be fun. Now, last question, and I
- 59:13Speaker 1: will let you go. Would you do White Sweat again?
- 59:17Speaker 2: Oh? Definitely, you know, I think it was such a
- 59:20Speaker 2: great experience and I think even in a worst case scenario,
- 59:24Speaker 2: you're going to learn something. So I would absolutely do it.
- 59:27Speaker 2: We had a great, great time doing it.
- 59:29Speaker 1: And yeah, absolutely, Well maybe if we can produce a
- 59:35Speaker 1: girlfriend swap show, Edwin, would you do something like that? Sure?
- 59:42Speaker 3: It actually does sound pretty fun. I mean it's the
- 59:44Speaker 3: experience sounds pretty gnarly. It sounds pretty cool. Yeah, experience
- 59:48Speaker 3: that you know, just someone that's totally opposite of what
- 59:52Speaker 3: you are. You know.
- 59:53Speaker 4: Yeah, but I wonder what it would be like.
- 59:55Speaker 3: If it's not as opposite, if it's kind of similar.
- 59:58Speaker 3: You know, for instance, Uh, they swap you with dark
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Kemsley or something. Yeah, you know, uh, and she comes
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: into your house, it's the same, you know.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Well, you know, when I saw the Gorgas episode last night,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: it was like, you know, if they swapped us with
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: those guys, Like it's pretty much the same, right, like
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: your organization the tight you know, So I don't know
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: if there would be a lot of story there. You know,
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: you have to you have to have a juxtaposition to
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: create that uh that story, you know.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Yeah, right, Yeah, you're absolutely right. And and I do
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: see that and appreciate that of the producer as the
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: producers make those decisions, because otherwise it'd be like watching
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: paint dry. And I always say that about myself, like
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I'm not good TV because I don't like drama and
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I don't know how to manifest drama. My wife's really
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: good about it, but I don't know how to do
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: any of that shit.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: So yeah, the drama, and it would be the personalities,
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: right if you you know, you might live the same
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: way right now, you might have a totally different personality.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: You know, that's true. That's true. Yeah, point, I.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Could see like I think, I don't know why I'm
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: thinking to reap, but I could see Boston Sean around
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: like do this, We're gonna go do this and shot quin.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Uh no, yeah, we probably wouldn't last five minutes together.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Now that you.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Mentioned it, Now, let me ask you this because obviously
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I don't know about you, Edwin, but that the whole
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Bravo network has been about how you know, I'm gay
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and and Sean's gay, and you know the guys that
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: take care of themselves on TV are gay, right, and
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it's mostly a gay network. So would you wife swap
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: with the gay couple?
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: What what I want? Swamp with the gay couple?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: A gay married couple.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: That'd be interesting.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Idea. I better get my fifteen percent commission show because
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: that would be funny.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: That very funny. Yeah.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I mean, I've had enough gay friends in my life
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: that they're just so much fun. They're so funny to
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: be around, and they're just so easy going, right, I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: think it would be a whot like maybe take them
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to a biker bar to see how they act, or
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: they take us to a gay bar, or see how
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: we act. Like He's funny, right, you should be a producer.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: This is some good ideas.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you? Anyways, do you have any questions
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: for us Shaw and anything else you want to say
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: about the show?
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: No, I just just what a great experience it was.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Thanks for having me on. I really like you guys,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: and you know I feel I feel like family, you know,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: and I just appreciate you guys having me on.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Oh, it's always great having you on.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Yeah, we've had some great guests and you're on top there, like,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: it's so much fun chat with you, and you know,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: we were fortunate to meet you in person in San
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Francisco and spend some quality time with you.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that was fun.
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I think that's where you really get to know the
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: person versus what you see on TV. Right sure, So are.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: You going to Brabo Khan?
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: By the way, we're trying to figure that out. We're
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: kind of having a hard time finding a place for
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Elector to stay right now. So I think it's going
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: to be a last minute decision for me whether I
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: go or not. So we'll see, we'll see. Yet to
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: be determined.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: All right, Well, if you go, we look forward to
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: seeing you.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you, appreciate it.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Thanks again, Take care, guys, let's see everyone.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: That was fun. That was a lot of fun. I
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: really enjoy Sean. He's such a cool guy. Just I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: just like his personality and you know, the way he
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: handles himself.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's one of my favorite guys. As well.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he's just so cool, genuine Yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Parent we've again hung out in San Francisco with him,
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: hung out in Vegas with them. Yeah, and one of
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: my favorite guys from the shows.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think that was a good point you
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: brought up, Like what if it's the same, Like if
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you swap with somebody with the same lifestyle and the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: same kind of life issues and challenges and goals, Like
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: how different would that be?
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Yeah, the personality is everything, right, I mean, it's it's
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: some personalities match and some don't, you know, And I
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: think that's what that's what makes it fun.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Right, Well, if you get a chance that when you
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: got to watch the show, it's it's going to rare
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: that I actually find a show that I'm actually enjoying watching,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you know, and how I watch it is not one
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: of them. But this show is a lot of fun.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: And I really you got to watch Joe Gorga and
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Melissa and there swap. I think it's going to be
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: very entertaining because we all know Joe, you could have
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: his own TV show. He's so much fun for sure.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And yeah, let's let's touch base. Do you watch it
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and maybe we'll bring it up in our next podcast
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: and talk about it, because I really am enjoying it.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: It's it's I'm gonna watch it.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: It seems a lot of fun.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Awesome. What's always great seeing you brother have a great day.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I know you got a big ye po thing going
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and that's always fun. A lot of pressure.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it should be a fun day. And we're going
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: to World Series today, so.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Oh cool, the whole the whole group orches your forum.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: Uh no, I'm actually gonna take my brother and some
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: executives from the from the company.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Oh very cool.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: So hopefully drink them again.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: We'll have a good time.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Brother, brother, We'll talk to you
