SPEAKER_01: God's plan for you is always progress, God's plan for you is always promotion, God's plan for you is always brighter and brighter.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, like look at this Proverbs chapter 4, verse 18.

SPEAKER_01: The path of the just shines brighter and brighter.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, Genesis 26, 13, talking about Isaac and God blessed him.

SPEAKER_01: In verse 13, it says, and the man waxed great and went forward till he became very great, right?

SPEAKER_01: New King James said, and he prospered, he began to prosper and he continued prospering till he became very prosperous.

SPEAKER_01: God's plan for you is promotion, God's plan for you is bigger, better, all of that stuff, right?

SPEAKER_01: Now it's all to the glory of his name, and it's all to serve him, and it's all for all of that.

SPEAKER_01: So I am designed to move forward, I am designed to make progress, I am designed for bigger and bigger, I am designed for better and better.

SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter what the world is saying, doesn't matter the experience they're having, it doesn't matter what experience anybody else has had, this is the word of God.

SPEAKER_01: I am going to show you how to activate supernatural promotion in your life, where you set the stage every day.

SPEAKER_01: You're setting the stage for promotion for bigger, for better, for brighter, for all of that.

SPEAKER_01: And they're always like, What do you what do you mean?

SPEAKER_01: I'm like, because there's always more.

SPEAKER_01: We cannot exhaust our potential, we cannot exhaust God's resources on this side of real side of eternity.

SPEAKER_01: And I know that somebody's gonna be thinking, oh, but that's greed and all this stuff.

SPEAKER_01: It's greed if you live for yourself.

SPEAKER_01: If you live for God, no matter how much no matter how much progress you make, you are so deeply rooted, and the progress is outside of you.

SPEAKER_01: The number one thing for you is your walk with God and your obedience to what he wants you to do for your life.

SPEAKER_01: So you can afford to be bigger, you can afford to go forward, you can afford to become 10 times better, you can afford to do all of those things and be rooted in God and be grounded and have a solid relationship with him, and have the fruit of the spirit as your character and still be humble.

SPEAKER_01: We looked at this verse um a few weeks ago, 1 Timothy chapter 6, verse 17, where it says, warn those who are rich in this world not to be arrogant.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so it means you can be rich and humble and not to put their trust in uncertain riches, but in God, which means I can be wealthy and humble.

SPEAKER_01: I can be wealthy and have my rich, my my trust not in riches, but in my God.

SPEAKER_01: And it goes on to say, who gives us richly all things to enjoy, right?

SPEAKER_01: So don't allow, don't allow the thoughts of, oh, and that makes me greedy, and all of those things stop you.

SPEAKER_01: When God created the earth, he put the gold there.

SPEAKER_01: When he created the earth, he put Adam in charge.

SPEAKER_01: Adam didn't lobby for this position, God put him there.

SPEAKER_01: And so I partner with God and set myself up for this said promotion every single day.

SPEAKER_01: All right, so now in this community, in the Horizonshine community, we have stumbled on a secret.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's not really a secret, it's just that we haven't we haven't been using it like we could have, right?

SPEAKER_01: We have stumbled on a secret um um um strategy that God has given, and that is the strategy of meditation.

SPEAKER_01: We know that God told Joshua, Joshua is not a priest, Joshua is not a pastor, Joshua was a political leader who was called to take the children of Israel into their promised land.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, he was he that that's who he was.

SPEAKER_01: He was a military leader, if you if you want to put it that way.

SPEAKER_01: He was what we would consider a marketplace person, right?

SPEAKER_01: And in this impossible task that he hit he had, God gave him a strategy.

SPEAKER_01: Now God told him about the attitude to have.

SPEAKER_01: He constantly said, Be strong, be courageous, be bold, be very courageous, be very courageous, and all of those things.

SPEAKER_01: And then he went on in verse eight to say, This book of the law shall not depart out your out of your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that thou mayest observe to do all that is written therein, and then you'll make your way prosperous, and then you'll have good success.

SPEAKER_01: So when we meditate and we meditate to do, we are setting ourselves up to have good to make our way prosperous and to have good success.

SPEAKER_01: So this is designed to turn your world right side up.

SPEAKER_01: So, what we're going to do is we're we're meditating together.

SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do a live meditation together, if you will, and we're gonna look at four scriptures because that's what we're doing.

SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna have one core scripture, we're gonna have three supplemental scriptures, and you're gonna look at this, you're gonna meditate, you're gonna receive it for yourself.

SPEAKER_01: When and I say I say this all the time because we have so lost the art of meditation that when I talk to Christian, I'm like, So do you meditate?

SPEAKER_01: They're like, Yeah, you know, yeah, I you know, I have this app that I that I use, and I have these moments of silence and all.

SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, uh-uh, no, that's not that's no, no.

SPEAKER_01: And like I empty out my mind.

SPEAKER_01: No, we don't empty out our mind.

SPEAKER_01: We fill our minds with the word of God, okay?

SPEAKER_01: So meditation for a Christian is bathing your mind in the word of God, immersing yourself in the word of God.

SPEAKER_01: It is it is making the word of God come alive, it's making it your dominant thinking, the same way there used to be thoughts of fear and failure and all of these things that are dominant thoughts.

SPEAKER_01: Now you're making the word of God your dominant thoughts, right?

SPEAKER_01: So we don't do that by emptying our minds, we do it by filling our minds and filling our minds with the word of God, okay?

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so what are some of the things we do to fill our minds with the word of God?

SPEAKER_01: We have a framework we use for meditation here, right?

SPEAKER_01: So one is that we pray.

SPEAKER_01: Like, please don't assume because the Bible you have is written in English and you understand English that you understand the Bible.

SPEAKER_01: Like, please don't assume that.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so we pray, we ask God for understanding, help us to see this through your lens, help us to see the application in our lives.

SPEAKER_01: If you're here, there's a scripture you just don't get.

SPEAKER_01: Like you can read the words, but you can't imagine how it's possible for you.

SPEAKER_01: There's no problem.

SPEAKER_01: You pray and you're like, Lord, open my eyes, let the veils be torn.

SPEAKER_01: Give me understanding.

SPEAKER_01: Help me to see this the way you see.

SPEAKER_01: Then we read it and we read for understanding.

SPEAKER_01: We read to so that's why we would read it in multiple translations.

SPEAKER_01: We will read it and we look up words in the dictionary.

SPEAKER_01: We would read it and apply it to our life.

SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, how did that happen?

SPEAKER_01: We read it and even connect you with other scriptures.

SPEAKER_01: We write it, we write it, especially if you're like me and you think super fast.

SPEAKER_01: So you're you're immersing yourself in this stuff, right?

SPEAKER_01: So you literally say, Okay, if this scripture were true in my life, what could it look like?

SPEAKER_01: So we do all these movies.

SPEAKER_01: And so it's like, oh, I'm not able to do that.

SPEAKER_01: No, we we're all able.

SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, back in the day when worrying was our thing, right?

SPEAKER_01: When worrying was our thing, we we would make movies of all the things that will happen when all the bad things happen.

SPEAKER_01: Like we made whole movies of this stuff.

SPEAKER_01: So you you can't imagine.

SPEAKER_01: And then the last thing there is uh well, we speak it, right?

SPEAKER_01: We declare it out of our mouth, and we're gonna practice that today.

SPEAKER_01: And then the final thing is we get ready to act.

SPEAKER_01: So, based on this scripture, what should I then be doing?

SPEAKER_01: We don't meditate to meditate, we don't meditate to feel good, we don't meditate, we meditate so yes, we'll understand who got more of who God is, who we are, and all of those things, but we meditate so we can observe to do.

SPEAKER_01: God did not tell Joshua, meditate and you'll make your way prosperous.

SPEAKER_01: He said, Meditate that you observe to do, and then you will make your way prosperous and you have good success.

SPEAKER_01: So when we leave out the doing, we leave out the result.

SPEAKER_01: So we meditate to do.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, we that's why you see on the app, you meditate, then when you're done meditating, you say, What action will I take based on this?

SPEAKER_01: So now that we're all on the same page, let's look at these four scriptures, okay?

SPEAKER_01: And I want you to look at it through the lens of your vocation.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I am an entrepreneur, that's what I do.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm a retired physician, I'm an entrepreneur, and um I look at this through this lens.

SPEAKER_01: Now, of course, this applies to all areas of your life.

SPEAKER_01: So when we talk about your vocation, that's one area, right?

SPEAKER_01: But your spouse, maybe, you're a parent, maybe, um, you your mentor, maybe, you have all these other roles that you have, your ministry, all of this stuff, then this applies for that too.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, but we want to focus on one thing so we understand it and then we can extrapolate.

SPEAKER_01: First verse here, Proverbs chapter 22.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, love my Bible, love the word of God, love God, love being a Christian.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so Proverbs chapter 20, 22, verse 29.

SPEAKER_01: Um, Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you for revealing the secret, secret tool called meditation.

SPEAKER_01: Thank you for showing us how to do it, how to get us deeper in it.

SPEAKER_01: Father, I pray that as we look in your word, that you shine your light in all our lives, shine your light, open our eyes so we understand this, we understand how to apply it, we understand your plans for us, we understand you better, we understand who we are, who you who we are and you better, we understand your ways better, and that Lord, that these next seven days, even on the replay, whoever is watching, like these next seven days would be days of promotion after promotion after promotion that we will get so many testimonies, so many testimonies of what has happened because we now know what your plan is and we've observed to do in Jesus' name.

SPEAKER_01: It seems like the verse has three parts if you want to break it down.

SPEAKER_01: The middle says he will stand before kings.

SPEAKER_01: A man who excels in his work.

SPEAKER_01: So I can stand before kings.

SPEAKER_01: Like now, when we talk about kings, let's talk about this because when we talk about kings, in the old testament, in the old times, it would be just kings.

SPEAKER_01: We don't really have a lot of kings anymore, right?

SPEAKER_01: Like, of course, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, places like that, Jordan, they have kings.

SPEAKER_01: But we don't have that, right?

SPEAKER_01: So if we want to say what does that mean for my time, it means the people in authority, the people who are the rulers, the people who are the influencers, the people who are the gatekeepers, the decision makers, these are the kings, which means in whatever your vocation is, who are the kings there?

SPEAKER_01: It is it is the leaders, it is the decision makers, is the gatekeepers, is the places where is the people before who is like, oh, normally I can't talk to somebody, I can't reach this kind of person.

SPEAKER_01: There are only certain people who can reach that person, right?

SPEAKER_01: Type I see them if you're like, oh, I got it now, right?

SPEAKER_01: So we're not thinking, you know, king and making it abstract.

SPEAKER_01: Okay, so your speaker is like, oh, you these kind of people will never invite you for their event.

SPEAKER_01: I can have this life where I stand before kings, number one, and I don't stand before unknown men, which means my circle is a circle of kings.

SPEAKER_01: Joseph was in Potiphar's house, and then he was in the prison, and then he was in second command.

SPEAKER_01: And now he was no longer standing before the prison guard, he was no longer standing before Potiphar, he was standing before the kings and the before Pharaoh and the senators of of Egypt and all these people.

SPEAKER_01: Like his circle became the circle of kings, the people he served, the people he had conversations with is the kings.

SPEAKER_01: Like, which means in your organization, you can go to the top, in what you do, you can go all the way to the top, in your vocation, you can go all the way to the top.

SPEAKER_01: Where you you now the people you fellowship with are the decision makers, the gatekeepers, the influencers, the leaders, all of that stuff.

SPEAKER_01: Because wait a whole minute, my entire life can change, my entire vocation can look different.

SPEAKER_01: I like I can be the one percenter, like really, and what is it tied to me excelling, me excelling at what I do, which means if that's the case, if I want to stand before kings, like I'm gonna confess it.

SPEAKER_01: So one of my confessions is I excel at my work, I stand in honor, because there's a translation that says, I stand in honor before kings, I don't stand before ordinary men or unknown men, right?

SPEAKER_01: That's my declaration, and I see myself called to the biggest stages, like producing work that nobody else can create results like what I create.

SPEAKER_01: And when people have high-level problems at a national level, at a state level, and all this stuff, they send for me.

SPEAKER_01: And guys, you like serving kings, like if you're an entrepreneur, for instance, serving kings, that's where the cha-chang is.

SPEAKER_01: Whether you're a student, whether you're a stay-at-home mom, whether you're in full-time ministry, whatever that is, please hear me when I say this.

SPEAKER_01: Whatever your vocation is, I want you to think I choose to excel.

SPEAKER_01: So this attitude of they don't pay me enough for this, and you do the bare minimum.

SPEAKER_01: Now, the Bible says in Isaiah chapter 60, verse 1, it says, Arise and shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

SPEAKER_01: Una translation, because you don't have the light, God has the light, is arise and reflect the glory of God, right?
