- 0:46Speaker 1: get to it. Today's title is called Embracing Forgiveness, Embracing Forgiveness,
- 0:51Speaker 1: Embracing forgiveness, Embracing Forgiveness. If you would tap the screen,
- 0:55Speaker 1: tap the screen, share it out, share it out, and
- 0:59Speaker 1: if you and sent your daily heart up, please send
- 1:01Speaker 1: your daily heart up for today. Again, We're gonna keep pressing,
- 1:06Speaker 1: keep pressing, keep pressing. So the scripture for today is
- 1:10Speaker 1: coming from Ephesians four and thirty two. Is said, be
- 1:13Speaker 1: kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just
- 1:17Speaker 1: as Christ forgave us. Again, be kind and compassionate to
- 1:21Speaker 1: one to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ
- 1:25Speaker 1: forgave you. Today's affirmation that you should be speaking over
- 1:31Speaker 1: your life. I forgive others as God has forgiven me.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I forgive others as God has forgiven me. That it's
- 1:37Speaker 1: our affirmation for today. So I'm gonna give a little
- 1:40Speaker 1: backstory on our scripture for today. Forgiveness can be one
- 1:45Speaker 1: of the hardest acts were called to as believers. Imagine Anna,
- 1:50Speaker 1: a devoted Christian betrayed by her closest friend, whom she
- 1:54Speaker 1: had known since childhood. The pain left her heart bitter
- 1:58Speaker 1: and her prayers hollow. She wanted to move on, yet
- 2:02Speaker 1: the wounds reminded her, and the wounds remained open. During
- 2:08Speaker 1: a Sunday sern, Anna's pastor spoke on Ephesians four and
- 2:13Speaker 1: thirty two, urging the congregation to remember how God thought
- 2:17Speaker 1: Christ God through Christ forgives us endlessly and cause us
- 2:23Speaker 1: to ex send the same grace to others. Anna realized
- 2:27Speaker 1: how unforgiveness not only blocked her spiritual growth, but also
- 2:31Speaker 1: robbed her of her inner peace. She began the journey
- 2:35Speaker 1: of forgiveness remembering that mercy that God has shown her
- 2:39Speaker 1: through prayer, honest reflection. In seeking God's strength, Anna was
- 2:44Speaker 1: able to truly release the hurt. As she forgave, she
- 2:48Speaker 1: rescovered freedom, joy, and the closeness of God. There's three
- 2:54Speaker 1: important things that I want you guys to remember for
- 2:58Speaker 1: the reason for the I poor forgiveness. First, we need
- 3:03Speaker 1: to know what forgiveness is. First, forgiveness is a conscious,
- 3:07Speaker 1: deliberate decision to release fears of resentment of vengeance towards
- 3:12Speaker 1: someone who has harmed you, regardless of whether actually they
- 3:18Speaker 1: if they actually deserve forgiveness or not. Biblically, it means
- 3:22Speaker 1: letting go offenses, just as God through Christ forgave us,
- 3:27Speaker 1: just as we said Ephesians four and thirty two. Forgiveness
- 3:31Speaker 1: does not mean forgetting or excusing the harm, but it
- 3:35Speaker 1: frees both the offender and yourself from the burden of
- 3:39Speaker 1: anger and bitterness. Why is forgiveness important? Forgiveness and vital
- 3:47Speaker 1: for several reason. It is vital for several reason. One,
- 3:49Speaker 1: restoring relationships, It hears broken relationships and fossil reconciliation Matthews five,
- 3:56Speaker 1: twenty three, and twenty four. It frees the forgiveness it liberally.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It liberates the person who forgives from anger, builtness, emotion,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and pain, leading towards peace and healing Colossians three and thirteen.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And it is in obedience to God. God tells us
- 4:15Speaker 1: to forgive. His forgiveness is a commandment from God and
- 4:19Speaker 1: a reflection of his nature. In us Mark eleven and
- 4:23Speaker 1: twenty five. It opens ways to God to forgive. Jesus
- 4:28Speaker 1: taught us that if we forgive others, we too are
- 4:33Speaker 1: forgiven in Matthew six, fourteen and fifteen. How does forgiveness
- 4:38Speaker 1: in fact impact our lives in our relationship? Again, I
- 4:43Speaker 1: asked this question, how does forgiveness impact our lives in
- 4:47Speaker 1: our relationships? When you forgive, we experience peace, letting go
- 4:51Speaker 1: of grudges, and it comes our inner world and allows
- 4:57Speaker 1: God's peace to reign inside. Again, letting go of grudges
- 5:02Speaker 1: calms our inner world and allows God's peace to raign.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That's Philippians four and seven. We build stronger relationships by
- 5:11Speaker 1: offering forgiveness. Forgiveness pays the way to restoration, to trust
- 5:17Speaker 1: into a deeper connection. Why we grow spiritually Forgiveness grows
- 5:24Speaker 1: our character, our humility, and our dependence on God through
- 5:29Speaker 1: transforming us to be more like Christ Loot six six
- 5:34Speaker 1: and thirty seven. Three things that I want you to ponder.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Think about this in your question of yourself. Think about this.
- 5:43Speaker 1: What is holding you back from forgiving someone who has
- 5:46Speaker 1: hurt you? And how does holding on to hurt affect
- 5:50Speaker 1: your mind and your heart? How what personal barriers exist
- 5:57Speaker 1: and what personal impact does unforgiveness and your spiritual, emotional
- 6:01Speaker 1: and physical well being? Ask yourself that question. How can
- 6:06Speaker 1: forgiveness hold you back? How can that hurt hinder you God?
- 6:09Speaker 1: It can make you sick. It can hinder you in
- 6:12Speaker 1: making you sick. It can make your It can make
- 6:15Speaker 1: you have hot blood, It can cause different things amongst you.
- 6:19Speaker 1: If God never put limits on his forgiveness towards us,
- 6:22Speaker 1: what gives us the right to hold hold on to
- 6:26Speaker 1: forgiveness of others? If God will say he will forgive
- 6:30Speaker 1: us over and over again, why can't we forgive people
- 6:33Speaker 1: over and over again? Ask yourself this, How could your
- 6:37Speaker 1: relationships and your daily walk with God? Change if you
- 6:40Speaker 1: practice radical, consistent forgiveness. Imagine this. What would your life
- 6:46Speaker 1: look like if you may forgiveness a daily habit, even
- 6:50Speaker 1: for the small grievances, the small things that may come
- 6:53Speaker 1: up against you. I want you to think about this.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Forgiveness reflects God's character. Bear with each other and forgive
- 7:02Speaker 1: one another. If any of you has grievance against someone,
- 7:07Speaker 1: forgive as the Lord forgive you Colossians three and thirteen.
- 7:11Speaker 1: When we forgive, we mirror God's loving nature. God's forgiving
- 7:15Speaker 1: is not earned, it is freely given. Extending forgiveness shows
- 7:20Speaker 1: the Christ's live, Christ's love living inside of you. Unforgiveness
- 7:25Speaker 1: hinders our relationship with God. But if we do not
- 7:30Speaker 1: forgive others of their saying, your Father will not forgive
- 7:33Speaker 1: you of your sin Matthew six and fifteen Hobar and
- 7:36Speaker 1: unforgiveness blocks our prayers and disrupt our fellowship with God.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Releasing our fenses clears the way for blessings and spiritual growth. Y'all,
- 7:45Speaker 1: let it go. Let it go. Stop holding on to stuff.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Stop letting things harbor in you and causing you to
- 7:55Speaker 1: be sick, causing you to be angry, causing you to
- 7:57Speaker 1: have all these different emotions, he said, Here he heals
- 8:01Speaker 1: the broken party and binds up their wounds Psalms one
- 8:05Speaker 1: forty seventy three. Letting go of building it, builderness and
- 8:09Speaker 1: choosing to forgive allows God to heal and touch your
- 8:13Speaker 1: deepest hurt and bring peace and restoration. How can you
- 8:17Speaker 1: practice forgiveness? First you have to pray and ask God
- 8:21Speaker 1: for help. Call to me and I will answer. You.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Tell you great and unsearchable things that you do not know.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Jeremiah thirty three and three. Ask God for strength and
- 8:32Speaker 1: a willing heart. Sometimes forgiveness is a process persistence, prayer,
- 8:37Speaker 1: persistently praying for God's power to forgive, choosing to release
- 8:42Speaker 1: the offense. Daily love keeps no record of wrong. First
- 8:47Speaker 1: Caripi Corinthians thirteen and five, intentionally refusing to dwell on
- 8:52Speaker 1: the hurt or seeking revenge, practicing releasing that person or
- 8:57Speaker 1: that situation to God. Every time the pay surface, you
- 9:01Speaker 1: got to give it back to them, release it every
- 9:03Speaker 1: time you can't hold on to it. You can't carry
- 9:05Speaker 1: that around with you. Because we know that these things
- 9:07Speaker 1: are gonna come up. Because we are flesh, we are human,
- 9:10Speaker 1: We are in the flesh form so every day we
- 9:12Speaker 1: should be asking him to renew our spirit of forgiveness.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Renew that spirit of forgiveness in us. And then we
- 9:19Speaker 1: got to bless and pray for those who hurt us, y'all.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It said, But I tell you love your enemies and
- 9:26Speaker 1: pray for those who persecute you. Matthew five and forty four.
- 9:30Speaker 1: If say, break the sight of resentment by praying for peace, healing,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and blessings over those who roam you, this open doors
- 9:38Speaker 1: for God's love to work in your heart. I'm gonna
- 9:42Speaker 1: leave you with this today, y'all know I'm not gonna
- 9:45Speaker 1: be before you long. Though I'm not gonna be before
- 9:47Speaker 1: you loan. I'd like to get on shad the word
- 9:51Speaker 1: and get on our So if we own fifteen minutes,
- 9:53Speaker 1: we'll be on fifteen minutes. But I want to challenge
- 9:56Speaker 1: you with this today. It says, or not defined by
- 10:01Speaker 1: your past hurts or the actions of others. God's forgiveness
- 10:05Speaker 1: is your freedom. His grace is your strength. Today, choose
- 10:09Speaker 1: forgiveness not because others deserve it, but because you are
- 10:13Speaker 1: called to reflect Christ. Every act of forgiveness is victory.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It sets your heart free, strengthens your spirit and draws
- 10:21Speaker 1: you closer to God's perfect peace. Step boldly into forgiveness
- 10:25Speaker 1: and watch God transform your pain into purpose. Let love,
- 10:30Speaker 1: not offense, be your legacy. I challenge you today as
- 10:34Speaker 1: sty to reveal any unforgiveness in your heart and take
- 10:39Speaker 1: one step towards forgiveness, however small. Just release it on today,
- 10:46Speaker 1: allow it to come forth, and trust Him that He
- 10:49Speaker 1: will heal you and that he will restore you. Know
- 10:52Speaker 1: that this is for you. It more than the next person.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Know that forgiveness is for you. Okay, So I leave
- 11:03Speaker 1: you with this on today. And y'all, I jumped in
- 11:06Speaker 1: today and I did not pray. I was jumped in
- 11:10Speaker 1: without praying, so y'all know I gotta pray on the
- 11:12Speaker 1: way out. So I'm gonna pray on my way out.
- 11:15Speaker 1: And again I want to thank you guys for jumping
- 11:18Speaker 1: on and for sharing because you could be anywhere. And
- 11:23Speaker 1: of course I was late on today, and I apologize
- 11:25Speaker 1: for that, but I jumped on another live and got
- 11:29Speaker 1: into the live. We were over there sharing the Word
- 11:32Speaker 1: of God, sharing testimonies, and I got caught up. But
- 11:36Speaker 1: I'm glad to be caught up in something of God
- 11:39Speaker 1: and not caught up in things of the world. So
- 11:41Speaker 1: if I can get caught up on Jesus and caught
- 11:43Speaker 1: up on his word, I'm always grateful to be in
- 11:46Speaker 1: a space and being caught up in that moment. So
- 11:50Speaker 1: if I don't, if I don't leave you with anything
- 11:54Speaker 1: that you can take from anything that I say, always
- 11:59Speaker 1: keep God first in your life. I don't care where
- 12:01Speaker 1: you are. I don't care where you think you are.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I don't care how you think you not in the will,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I don't care where you are. You are His child.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You belong to him. He loves you, and there's nothing
- 12:11Speaker 1: that you can do that he will not forgive you
- 12:14Speaker 1: from if you repent and turn from your ways. Just
- 12:17Speaker 1: as He's just to forgive us, he want us to
- 12:19Speaker 1: do the same for everybody else. So y'all have a
- 12:22Speaker 1: spirit of forgiveness on today, and I'm gonna pray, Father
- 12:26Speaker 1: God in the name of Jesus, Father, I thank you
- 12:28Speaker 1: for yet another hour that you allow us to come
- 12:30Speaker 1: before your throne. I thank you for the space that
- 12:32Speaker 1: you have allowed us to be able to come together,
- 12:34Speaker 1: to acknowledge you, to reference you, and to make our
- 12:37Speaker 1: requests known unto you, Father God. So Father I lift
- 12:39Speaker 1: up all those that are on our father in prayerless,
- 12:42Speaker 1: Lord God Father, knowing that you know everything about them,
- 12:44Speaker 1: all their concerns for God and Father. I lift up
- 12:47Speaker 1: those that are going to be added to the list
- 12:48Speaker 1: on today, Father god Father, asking that you will just
- 12:51Speaker 1: continue to have your way, Lord God Father, continue to
- 12:53Speaker 1: allow these platforms to be platforms that we could edify you,
- 12:57Speaker 1: that we can lift you up, that you can be glorified,
- 12:59Speaker 1: Lord God, people would come to know you in the
- 13:01Speaker 1: midst of all that may be going on, Father God,
- 13:04Speaker 1: for those that may be lost and don't know you
- 13:06Speaker 1: and the deepness of their sins. Lord god Father, just
- 13:09Speaker 1: if you've done it for me and many many, many
- 13:11Speaker 1: many more before me, and many many more, you're gonna
- 13:14Speaker 1: do after me, Lord god Father, that person that's standing
- 13:16Speaker 1: in need today, Father asked they draw on to you. Father.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I'm asking that you will draw on to them, Lord God,
- 13:21Speaker 1: because your word shall not return to your lore. You
- 13:24Speaker 1: will watch you over into its performing perfecting it each
- 13:26Speaker 1: and every one of our lives. And Lord, we thank
- 13:28Speaker 1: you just for that, Lord God, because you truly didn't
- 13:30Speaker 1: have to, Lord God. You could have left us in
- 13:32Speaker 1: our sin. But Father you thought enough of us to
- 13:35Speaker 1: bring us out. And according to your word Jeremy twenty
- 13:37Speaker 1: nine and eleven, your word said that you declared that
- 13:40Speaker 1: you had a plan for us, and it was to
- 13:42Speaker 1: prosper us, not to bring us home, but for us
- 13:44Speaker 1: to be in your health, for us to have hope
- 13:46Speaker 1: in the future. So Father, we stand on your word.
- 13:48Speaker 1: We know that your word, we will not return to
- 13:50Speaker 1: your voy And Father, we ask that you would just
- 13:52Speaker 1: allow your Holy Spirit to leave God and direct us
- 13:55Speaker 1: as we go out into the world. Father, your word
- 13:57Speaker 1: said we had to be in this world, but not
- 13:59Speaker 1: of the world. And Father, we thank you on today.
- 14:02Speaker 1: We thank you on today, and these things are asking
- 14:04Speaker 1: your son Jesus name a man a man a man
- 14:08Speaker 1: a man a man a man. I thank him. I
- 14:10Speaker 1: thank him for yet another opportunity. I thank him for
- 14:13Speaker 1: yet another day that we have to just come before him,
- 14:16Speaker 1: to just acknowledge him, to just let him know that
- 14:18Speaker 1: he's king, a king, and that he's all in all,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and to re mind outselves that we have no power,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but through him we have our power. So learn to
- 14:28Speaker 1: lean and depend on him. If you don't know, asks him, y'all,
- 14:32Speaker 1: he will reveal it. To you. He said, acts and
- 14:34Speaker 1: you shall receive. He said, knock and it shall open.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Y'all seek him, and I guarantee you you should find
- 14:40Speaker 1: every answer that you desire. If you lack wisdom, acts
- 14:43Speaker 1: and he'll give it to you. If you lack discern
- 14:46Speaker 1: and acts and he'll give it to you. He's left
- 14:48Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit to be with us, to leave God
- 14:50Speaker 1: and direct us. So there's nothing that we should be
- 14:53Speaker 1: in need of that we shall not receive. So ask
- 14:56Speaker 1: and you shall receive, walking your blessing on today, walking
- 14:59Speaker 1: that day he is ordained for you. It's not a coincident.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It's not an accident. Everything that he has for you,
- 15:05Speaker 1: it shall be. He will not keep a good thing
- 15:07Speaker 1: from you. And that great work that he's already started,
- 15:10Speaker 1: he's gonna watch over it. Untiwar's performed and perfected in
- 15:13Speaker 1: each of every one of your lives. He has no
- 15:16Speaker 1: respect of a person, y'all. Just as he's done it
- 15:18Speaker 1: for me, he's gonna do it for you on today.
- 15:20Speaker 1: You gotta believe it and you gotta receive it. So
- 15:23Speaker 1: I want you to remember to speak the affirmation of
- 15:25Speaker 1: the day over your life, speaking into someone else's life, y'all,
- 15:29Speaker 1: when we come into the knowledge of these words, it's
- 15:31Speaker 1: not just for us, but it's for us to share it.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So I encourage you to share it with someone else.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Let someone else know that, Hey, I forgive others just
- 15:40Speaker 1: as God forgive me. And share it with somebody, let
- 15:43Speaker 1: them know that forgive yourself. It's okay to forgive yourself.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Forgive yourself, because as you forgive yourself, God forgives you,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and He forgive those that have done anything against you.
- 15:54Speaker 1: So today go and forgiveness. Move and forgiveness, Move and
- 15:58Speaker 1: love because God is loved and I love y'all. Y'all
- 16:02Speaker 1: have a great day. Love, y'all, be blessed.
