- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome into Northside Territory. Foul Territory Networks Cubs Podcast. I'm
- 0:08Speaker 1: Sahadev Sharma with my partner Patrick Mooney. We are your
- 0:11Speaker 1: Cubs beat writers over at the Athletic Patrick, the Cubs
- 0:17Speaker 1: drop Game two of the Wildcard series to the padres.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Uh.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You know a lot a lot happened in that game.
- 0:25Speaker 2: It feels like and and I think it will be
- 0:29Speaker 2: one at least for some where. There's a lot of
- 0:33Speaker 2: second guessing of Craig Council. Uh, showed him Anaga did
- 0:38Speaker 2: not start and your Kittridge it comes out as an opener.
- 0:42Speaker 2: He gives up one run and then you see showed
- 0:47Speaker 2: him Anaga come in pitch pretty well. And then probably
- 0:50Speaker 2: the biggest question mark UH like this here. The setup
- 0:55Speaker 2: is he walks Fernando Tatis with one out and Mike
- 1:00Speaker 2: Shild decides to bunt him over with with Louise Luis
- 1:05Speaker 2: Arris and and instead of walking Manny Machado or bringing
- 1:11Speaker 2: in a right handed reliever to face many Matchado, he
- 1:15Speaker 2: has showed him and now I got pitch to him
- 1:17Speaker 2: and Machado unloads and sends two run shot into the
- 1:23Speaker 2: left field bleachers. One run, one nothing game becomes a
- 1:27Speaker 2: three nothing game. And with that Padre's bullpen and the
- 1:30Speaker 2: way Dylan Cees pitched, the game was over. H that's
- 1:36Speaker 2: I think that is the moment that we can focus on.
- 1:38Speaker 2: For me, I think the kid Ridge opener, it doesn't
- 1:42Speaker 2: bother me that much. I thought he pitched fine. I
- 1:44Speaker 2: thought they had really good at bats against him. So
- 1:47Speaker 2: I went back and watched those pitches. They were good pitches.
- 1:50Speaker 2: They just got some hits. The double steal is worse
- 1:53Speaker 2: than the hits.
- 1:53Speaker 1: In my opinion.
- 1:55Speaker 2: And then and then you know that I I still
- 1:59Speaker 2: don't fully get the pitching to Machado.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you're right. That home run, like it
- 2:08Speaker 3: felt like a Grand Slam like it it was only
- 2:11Speaker 3: like only three runs air quotes, It felt like way
- 2:15Speaker 3: more than that. Just the way Wrigley has played, How
- 2:20Speaker 3: good the Padres bullpen is, how that just kind of
- 2:24Speaker 3: flipped things for them.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Ah.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I didn't like love the Kiddrid's decision, to be honest, like,
- 2:34Speaker 3: but as long as it works, it's fine. Right, Like
- 2:38Speaker 3: we were talking after Game one about council, we wrote
- 2:41Speaker 3: it pressed all the right bullpen buttons, I mean, getting
- 2:45Speaker 3: you know, half a perfect game from your bullpen. Obviously,
- 2:49Speaker 3: you know they know what they're doing. I guess, at least,
- 2:56Speaker 3: you know, taking it from a cup's perspective, they have
- 2:58Speaker 3: been doing stuff like this all year. It's not like, oh,
- 3:02Speaker 3: they get to the playoffs and they did something totally different.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I think they've sort of laid the groundwork for decision
- 3:10Speaker 3: like that. And I do think that kind of by
- 3:13Speaker 3: bumping showed to back an inning, I think you start
- 3:15Speaker 3: kind of maybe overcompensate in that sense, you know, like
- 3:21Speaker 3: would you rather face Machado in the first inning with
- 3:24Speaker 3: nobody on or in that snare?
- 3:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I just don't get the Padres obsession with bunting. That's
- 3:31Speaker 3: not just reading our buddy Dennis Lynn's stories, like wait,
- 3:34Speaker 3: like that's just what they do, like more than any
- 3:37Speaker 3: other team by a wide margin.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And so.
- 3:45Speaker 3: This has been a great reminder of just how quickly
- 3:49Speaker 3: things shift within the playoffs. I mean, game one, Craig
- 3:53Speaker 3: counsel genius, this is why you fired David Ross and
- 3:57Speaker 3: sign them to a forty million dollar contract, like less
- 4:01Speaker 3: than twenty four hours later, it's like, oh, they're kind
- 4:04Speaker 3: of getting a little too cute with this, Like you know,
- 4:08Speaker 3: Andrew Kittridge kind of a reliever you picked up at
- 4:11Speaker 3: the trade deadline because you didn't like the cost of
- 4:14Speaker 3: all those closers, the type of pitchers that the Padres
- 4:18Speaker 3: went out and got. And then you know, do you
- 4:22Speaker 3: disrupt showeda just a little bit. I don't know, he
- 4:26Speaker 3: looked pretty good overall, but I think ultimately, and we'll
- 4:33Speaker 3: get into this eventually. The second segment, it's like, you
- 4:36Speaker 3: can't win if you don't score any runs, right.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's that is that we can't bury that.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And I made sure to put that up near Yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 2: My story, like I just didn't want it to be
- 4:48Speaker 2: the story is Craig Council making a decision that I
- 4:52Speaker 2: and the others disagree with it. It's the offense not scoring.
- 4:57Speaker 2: But I just really ruggle with this decision because it
- 5:02Speaker 2: felt like their obsession with bunting handed you in out
- 5:07Speaker 2: and now an easy decision.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And and when when you go.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Through the thought process of of going with Kittridge, it's
- 5:19Speaker 2: to keep Managa away from Tatise and Machado. Like it's
- 5:24Speaker 2: as simple as that. He's trying to get like limit
- 5:28Speaker 2: the amount of advts. He just gave you a reason
- 5:31Speaker 2: to limit the amount of times and Managa faces Machado,
- 5:36Speaker 2: he gave you an easy out. And and look, Jackson
- 5:40Speaker 2: Merrill is no pushover, but against lefties he is not
- 5:43Speaker 2: the same type of hitter.
- 5:45Speaker 1: He's just not. It's a it's a huge split.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Uh. And and I think I thought it was easy,
- 5:52Speaker 2: just put a four fingers and and and send him
- 5:55Speaker 2: to first base. Soroka was warming. I would have been
- 5:58Speaker 2: fine if he brought in Soroca. That The problem with
- 6:01Speaker 2: bringing Croka to face Machado is if say you walk
- 6:04Speaker 2: him or or he gets like an infield single and
- 6:07Speaker 2: the run doesn't score. Now you have to face Jackson Merrill.
- 6:11Speaker 2: And so I think I think intentionally walking was the
- 6:14Speaker 2: right move. Council said, he thought about it.
- 6:16Speaker 1: This is what I.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Find fans fascinating. Council said, what changed? Like, I guess
- 6:22Speaker 2: it didn't change his mind. But why he's stuck with
- 6:24Speaker 2: Imnaga's because he liked the way he looked.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He liked the ways he looked.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And this is what is what does counsol get, not
- 6:31Speaker 2: just council, but today's game of manager.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah, all these guys, oh they have everything. Uh, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 1: planned out.
- 6:40Speaker 2: They never stray from they they don't watch the game,
- 6:43Speaker 2: they don't go with their gut, they don't go with
- 6:45Speaker 2: what they're seeing.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He went with what he was seeing, and it was
- 6:49Speaker 1: the wrong move. It was the wrong move. Uh, he
- 6:52Speaker 1: should have gone with the numbers. I think it's as
- 6:56Speaker 1: simple as that.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It's uh, don't I very you know me, I very
- 7:02Speaker 2: rarely think like I think it's important to harp on
- 7:07Speaker 2: a managerial decision, mostly because these are just coin flip decisions,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and these are just things that A. They have so
- 7:16Speaker 2: much more information than us. B. I think fans think
- 7:21Speaker 2: many of us think, not just fans. It shouldn't just
- 7:22Speaker 2: limited fans. Many people think it's just like, well, the
- 7:25Speaker 2: decision that I wanted to make was the right one
- 7:28Speaker 2: when it's like fifty point one percent to forty nine
- 7:31Speaker 2: point nine percent, like or like. These these are very
- 7:34Speaker 2: toss up decisions, and just because it went one way
- 7:38Speaker 2: doesn't mean absolutely the other way was the right way
- 7:40Speaker 2: to go. Baseball's crazy like that, and it's really these
- 7:43Speaker 2: decisions are really hard. This one felt like a little
- 7:46Speaker 2: bit more. Uh, he should have gone, you know, you
- 7:49Speaker 2: don't don't let the stars break out in the postseason,
- 7:52Speaker 2: it feels like, don't let them, don't let them shine.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Not that Jackson Merrill is a pushover again, it just
- 7:58Speaker 2: it just felt I felt like he had the decision
- 8:01Speaker 2: handed to him.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I mean, Jackson Merrill obviously had a great season last year,
- 8:07Speaker 3: but he is in reading Dennis Lyn's coverage and watching
- 8:10Speaker 3: that bunt in Game one, like he has not been
- 8:13Speaker 3: feeling it. And I still think, you know, Manny Machado
- 8:16Speaker 3: is just one of those names you circle in the
- 8:19Speaker 3: lineup of Machado and Tatis cannot beat us. I think
- 8:24Speaker 3: that's what you go into any of these series thinking.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And it did just feel inconsistent of like, Okay, if
- 8:34Speaker 3: you're gonna go to this sort of extreme even though
- 8:38Speaker 3: they've done it all year. It's very like we discussed
- 8:41Speaker 3: out of character kind of for the Cubs DNA about
- 8:44Speaker 3: how this, you know, kind of franchise was rebuilt into
- 8:48Speaker 3: a championship team obviously a decade ago, why you would
- 8:55Speaker 3: go to that length. But then when Machado rolls around,
- 8:59Speaker 3: not give him that open base. I'm with you, like,
- 9:06Speaker 3: if the Cubs lose Game three, I feel like that
- 9:09Speaker 3: will be blown out of proportion because if the Cups
- 9:12Speaker 3: lose this series. It's probably gonna because their offense just
- 9:16Speaker 3: didn't show up, but it's gonna be It's like, immediately
- 9:21Speaker 3: from showing up to the ballpark today, we knew like
- 9:23Speaker 3: this is going to be an angle a story one
- 9:26Speaker 3: way or the other, going with the opener and kind
- 9:29Speaker 3: of setting off that sequence. But yeah, the Padres won
- 9:36Speaker 3: because their stars, their best players, showed up in a
- 9:39Speaker 3: huge way.

- 11:26Speaker 1: Patrick. The stars for the Padres showed up on on Wednesday.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Manny Machado obviously we talked about him. Fernando Tatis led
- 11:38Speaker 2: the game off with the single, had a big walk
- 11:40Speaker 2: that set up the Machado home run. Dylan Cees was
- 11:43Speaker 2: really good. It didn't pitch very long, but he did
- 11:47Speaker 2: what he needed to do because he turned it over
- 11:48Speaker 2: to a star laden bullpen that was awesome. Mason Miller
- 11:55Speaker 2: threw a pitch one hundred and four point five miles
- 11:57Speaker 2: per hour and it was ridiculou and he is I think.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I turned to our buddy John Greenberg and said, how
- 12:05Speaker 2: has he allowed and he runs this season? Like, how
- 12:09Speaker 2: has he.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Given up a run? I don't understand.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Really impressive bullpen, really impressive group of stars that showed up.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You know, they didn't pound the Cubs. It wasn't like
- 12:21Speaker 2: some blowout, but the Cub stars haven't shown up. Kyle
- 12:26Speaker 2: Tucker had a nice line drive and then a single.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I mean that's the highlight of the the core group there,
- 12:34Speaker 2: says Azuki's hitting, But is anybody else? Nobody else is
- 12:38Speaker 2: a Nico Horner, says Azuki. They've shown up, but Ian
- 12:41Speaker 2: hap over and then of course Pca. Look, these are
- 12:46Speaker 2: bad matchups for him, but he does not. These are
- 12:50Speaker 2: not good at bats. These are bad at bats. He
- 12:52Speaker 2: doesn't look good. I'm curious. I didn't get to at
- 12:57Speaker 2: this point. I haven't read your story yet, and I wasn't.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I went to the to the postgame, you know, cup
- 13:04Speaker 2: press conferences instead of the clubhouse. So I heard what
- 13:07Speaker 2: Craig Counsel had to say. I didn't hear what Peter
- 13:10Speaker 2: Armstrong had to say. Why didn't you let us know?
- 13:13Speaker 3: You could tell Pete was a little edgy after the game.
- 13:21Speaker 3: He's still always great to listen to. It's very professional
- 13:27Speaker 3: and introspective, and he wasn't as kind of expansive as
- 13:34Speaker 3: he normally is, but he sets a pretty high standard
- 13:40Speaker 3: in that regard, and you could just tell like he
- 13:45Speaker 3: kind of looked around and he's like, you guys want
- 13:46Speaker 3: to talk to me. As he was leaving the locker
- 13:51Speaker 3: room area, he kind of threw something in the garbage
- 13:53Speaker 3: can kind of with a little more force. It felt
- 13:56Speaker 3: like I'm reading into some of this stuff. But you
- 14:00Speaker 3: that's why we have clubhouse access, and you know you
- 14:06Speaker 3: saw it all out there on the field when he's
- 14:08Speaker 3: slamming his helmet when he grounds out. I think, you know,
- 14:12Speaker 3: there was a point this year where the idea of
- 14:15Speaker 3: intentionally walking Carson Kelly to get to Pete crow Armstrong
- 14:19Speaker 3: would have seemed kind of far fetched. It was pretty
- 14:25Speaker 3: quick at bat he got caught in between on the
- 14:28Speaker 3: first pitch.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You're right, tough matchup.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Like no one's gonna look good, as he pointed out,
- 14:33Speaker 3: like if he's throwing one hundred and four with a
- 14:37Speaker 3: nasty slider and you're talking about like the velocity separation
- 14:42Speaker 3: of like fourteen fifteen, sixteen seventeen miles an hour, kind
- 14:47Speaker 3: of like no chance. And I referred to Suarez as
- 14:50Speaker 3: like the padres like change of pace closer because he
- 14:53Speaker 3: throws like one to one. I mean, like good luck
- 14:57Speaker 3: with that. Uh, you got a good quote for me
- 15:00Speaker 3: from from council of just like they're doing a really
- 15:04Speaker 3: good job of exploiting Pete's holes, which probably speaks to
- 15:08Speaker 3: the game planning, the scouting that they're doing on Pete,
- 15:12Speaker 3: and the high level of execution that really almost every
- 15:17Speaker 3: Padres pitcher has done to almost every Cup sitter, And
- 15:20Speaker 3: obviously the Cubs have done the same too. I mean,
- 15:22Speaker 3: it's obviously one to one, low scoring series thus far.
- 15:27Speaker 3: But this postseason was framed as this could be PA's
- 15:34Speaker 3: sort of coming out party in October, and that still
- 15:39Speaker 3: could happen. I think if you're circling one player on
- 15:41Speaker 3: the Cubs in an elimination game, who might do something
- 15:45Speaker 3: that blows her mind, it's probably Pete. But these first
- 15:48Speaker 3: two games have not looked great. Obviously his defense, I
- 15:52Speaker 3: don't want to like shortchange that, like he does stuff
- 15:56Speaker 3: out there, and that was his point as well, of like,
- 15:58Speaker 3: I'm focused on being a great center fielder, doing my job,
- 16:03Speaker 3: like I'm not gonna ride the ebbs and flows. That's
- 16:06Speaker 3: why I go to the batting cage every day and
- 16:08Speaker 3: follow my routine and put all that work in. But
- 16:13Speaker 3: until he snaps out of it, it's hard to imagine
- 16:17Speaker 3: the Cubs keep playing and playing series after series, postseason
- 16:22Speaker 3: round after postseason round.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I think these matchups have just been rough.
- 16:30Speaker 2: In general, these are guys that the starters are guys
- 16:34Speaker 2: that throw really hard up in the zone and then
- 16:37Speaker 2: have nasty breaking balls. Dylan Seats has had a rough
- 16:42Speaker 2: season on the road this year, but they kept it short.
- 16:45Speaker 2: They kept it short because they knew they could just
- 16:48Speaker 2: a shilt is thinking elimination game.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'm going to my best arms as soon as i can.
- 16:54Speaker 2: And they have this type of bullpen that's just nasty.
- 16:58Speaker 2: You darvish, is not you darbish of twenty twenty? This
- 17:02Speaker 2: is not the guy Cubs fans fell in love with.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Great guy, great like. I enjoyed listening to him, and
- 17:10Speaker 2: I think he has a lot to share to the
- 17:13Speaker 2: game and bring like he's he's I don't know if
- 17:18Speaker 2: he's a Hall of Famer, I don't. I'm not one
- 17:20Speaker 2: hundred percent sure on that, you know, but it feels
- 17:23Speaker 2: like it as far as people that have covered, he
- 17:25Speaker 2: feels like he's high up there, you know.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Pretty close. If he's not for his ballot, he's kind
- 17:32Speaker 3: of hanging around.
- 17:33Speaker 1: There for Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he should get credit for his career
- 17:36Speaker 2: in Japan and all that stuff, and maybe he gets
- 17:38Speaker 2: in it.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I think they can get to him. I think lefties.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I mean, I know he gives up more home runs
- 17:47Speaker 2: for lefties as your just more production against lefties. Lefties
- 17:51Speaker 2: can hit him. The stuff is not as nasty. He's
- 17:54Speaker 2: about you know, from when he was with the Cubs
- 17:57Speaker 2: to now. He's about two miles per hour down on
- 18:00Speaker 2: his fastball. He's coming back from an elbow injury. I
- 18:04Speaker 2: think I don't know if he's you know, you could
- 18:07Speaker 2: probably say he wasn't fully there when he came first
- 18:10Speaker 2: came back.
- 18:10Speaker 1: He's probably fully healthy now.
- 18:12Speaker 2: My guess is he's he's fully healthy, but I think
- 18:14Speaker 2: he's just you know, he's older now, he's not like
- 18:17Speaker 2: he's just not the same guy. They have to get
- 18:20Speaker 2: to him early. I don't know what my shield is
- 18:23Speaker 2: going to do with his bullpen. He didn't rule out
- 18:27Speaker 2: going back to those guys like Marijane and and uh
- 18:30Speaker 2: and Mason Miller. It'd be kind of crazy to go
- 18:33Speaker 2: to Marojone in my opinion, because he's just thrown like
- 18:36Speaker 2: three in a third inning, three four and a third whatever,
- 18:39Speaker 2: it's it's a lot. He's thrown a lot. They all
- 18:42Speaker 2: have like thirty plus pitches over the past two days.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You know, Suarez is probably the only one that has
- 18:48Speaker 2: n't pitched a lot of strata. But look, it's an
- 18:52Speaker 2: elimination game. If he has to, he may throw them
- 18:54Speaker 2: out there. Maybe it's the right move. I just think
- 18:58Speaker 2: these guys can hit you, Darvish, but they just need
- 19:03Speaker 2: to they have to. That's I think that is the key.
- 19:06Speaker 2: First Threeish innings. You want to see them put some
- 19:08Speaker 2: runs on the board.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I'm sure the Padres feel the same way about jameson
- 19:14Speaker 3: Tyn of just like and leaving Wrigglely tonight, I was
- 19:18Speaker 3: kind of talking to someone and it feels like we
- 19:22Speaker 3: haven't had one of those crazy Wrigley games yet, Like
- 19:29Speaker 3: it's hard to imagine that it'll be like kind of
- 19:34Speaker 3: twenty seven innings of it this sort of like tight
- 19:37Speaker 3: and contained and low scoring.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Maybe maybe it is.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Maybe the shadows are such that it happens, or just
- 19:46Speaker 3: the matchups kind of lend itself to that low scoring environment.
- 19:51Speaker 3: It just seems like someone is going to break out
- 19:55Speaker 3: or some pitcher is going to break down, like like
- 19:59Speaker 3: you're saying, and to me, that's where you know. I
- 20:03Speaker 3: wrote Pa tonight because he is so magnetic.
- 20:09Speaker 1: He is the star.
- 20:10Speaker 3: He's driven this team to another level. But you know,
- 20:15Speaker 3: he's only twenty three years old. This is his second year,
- 20:18Speaker 3: like he is, this is not a one man show.
- 20:21Speaker 3: And yeah, I'm curious to see what Kyle Tucker does.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Is this his last game in a Cubs uniform. He's
- 20:31Speaker 3: been sort of a non factor. I know he got
- 20:34Speaker 3: that that single late, but it didn't really lead to anything.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And then it's gonna be like who who runs into
- 20:42Speaker 3: the home runs? I think that's kind of how most
- 20:45Speaker 3: of these postseason games work. And you know, it could
- 20:50Speaker 3: it could look a lot different because I don't I'm
- 20:53Speaker 3: with you, like Darvish is a magician, just a one
- 20:59Speaker 3: of the most interesting kind of guys that we've covered,
- 21:04Speaker 3: I feel like in our time in Chicago. But that
- 21:07Speaker 3: was also a long time ago when we covered him,
- 21:09Speaker 3: and he already had a very long professional career before
- 21:13Speaker 3: everyone showed up in Chicago, and so yeah, got got
- 21:17Speaker 3: to get to him early. And you know, you gotta
- 21:21Speaker 3: think Shilt's just gonna kind of unload everything they have
- 21:25Speaker 3: in that bullpen and worry about tomorrow if.
- 21:28Speaker 1: There is one.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know, the Cubs bullpen is mostly that
- 21:34Speaker 2: the big guys are are available. Yeah, you know, no Keller,
- 21:39Speaker 2: Pomerantz or Palencia. Today Kittridge has a rubber arm like
- 21:43Speaker 2: he'd be going on three days to ret I mean
- 21:46Speaker 2: three days in a row. I don't think it matters
- 21:49Speaker 2: for him. It's the playoffs. This guy, this guy doesn't care.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He's gonna go out there if needed. Uh So, you know,
- 21:56Speaker 2: I think their bullpen's pretty in pretty good shape.
- 21:58Speaker 1: They just need to score. They need to get to
- 22:00Speaker 1: Darbish and I think they can.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The wind, I don't think is going to be the
- 22:07Speaker 2: type of day where it's knocking the ball down.
- 22:09Speaker 1: It could be kind of a crosswind.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'm just looking at what the weather is predicting like
- 22:16Speaker 2: it predicted to be. It could be kind of a crosswind,
- 22:18Speaker 2: but it also looks like it's kind of going out.
- 22:20Speaker 1: So we'll we'll see what it is when we get
- 22:22Speaker 1: there and what we.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Don't even know what time the game's gonna be as
- 22:26Speaker 2: we're recording, so uh so who knows. Uh it's it,
- 22:31Speaker 2: you know, win or go home.
- 22:32Speaker 1: That's that's what it is.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And uh these moments are fun, but I think fans
- 22:38Speaker 2: are going to be stressed. Hopefully they bring the energy too,
- 22:40Speaker 2: because that's they certainly have that both games. Cubs fans
- 22:45Speaker 2: have been into it. Wrigley was electric in Game one.
- 22:48Speaker 2: They there was no shortage of energy. The Cubs just
- 22:50Speaker 2: didn't provide enough reasons to get excited. Uh, So we'll see,
- 22:54Speaker 2: we'll see who can do some damage. I think they
- 22:58Speaker 2: should be able to get to you darbish, but baseball's weird,
- 23:01Speaker 2: and you darbish is like you said, he's a magician.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So I'm not going to rule anything out of him,
- 23:06Speaker 2: like kind of you know, reaching into his bag of
- 23:09Speaker 2: trips tricks and pulling off a nice game. All right, Patrick,
- 23:14Speaker 2: we will be back at it, either wrapping up the
- 23:17Speaker 2: season and previewing the off season or talking about what's
- 23:20Speaker 2: going to happen against the Breweries.
- 23:22Speaker 1: One of the two. We'll be talking soon and coming
- 23:25Speaker 1: back at you with another episode.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Thanks for so much for listening. This is Northside Territory.
