- 0:00Hidden in the hills of Maharashtra, India, among a
- 0:03series of ancient rock cut monuments known as the Allora
- 0:06Caves, there stands a structure that defies logic, not because
- 0:11of how old it is, but because it shouldn't exist at all.
- 0:15Towering over 100 feet into the sky, sculpted with a level of
- 0:19precision and artistry that stuns modern engineers, the
- 0:22Kailasa temple was not built stone by stone.
- 0:25It was not assembled. It was carved, excavated
- 0:29vertically from the top of the mountain down out of a single
- 0:33piece of volcanic basalt. A free standing temple complete
- 0:38with pillars, sanctums, shrines, sculptures, stairways and
- 0:42drainage systems, all carved from a continuous block of
- 0:46stone. Over 400,000 tons of rock are
- 0:49estimated to have been removed, yet there are no piles of
- 0:53rubble, no construction debris, no carvings explaining how or
- 0:57why, no written records, no inscriptions, no blueprints.
- 1:02Just the finished product standing there in perfect
- 1:05silence. Mainstream scholars will tell
- 1:08you it was commissioned by Rashtrakuda King Krishna, the
- 1:11first in the 8th century. But the math doesn't work, not
- 1:15even close. At best estimates it would have
- 1:19taken hundreds of years with the tools said to be available at
- 1:22the time. Yet even by conservative
- 1:24academic timelines, it was allegedly completed in under 2
- 1:28decades. That's not just unlikely, it's
- 1:31impossible. So what are we looking at?
- 1:35A monument of genius craftsmanship lost to time?
- 1:38Or the remnant of a civilization whose capabilities go far beyond
- 1:41what we're allowed to believe? Local legend says it was built
- 1:45overnight by a divine architect, either Shiva himself or the
- 1:50demon king Ravana. But these are just myths we're
- 1:53told, just symbolic stories to explain the unexplainable.
- 1:58Maybe. Or maybe these stories are
- 2:01fractured memories, echoes of something real.
- 2:05Because when you stand at the foot of this temple and run your
- 2:08hand across the stone, you don't just feel age, you feel
- 2:12intention, you feel design. And you begin to wonder, was
- 2:17this temple created or uncovered?
- 2:21Was it shaped by human hands or by the technology of beings long
- 2:26since forgotten? And if it was left here for us
- 2:29to find, why? In this episode, we'll examine
- 2:33one of the most mysterious temples on Earth and follow the
- 2:37clues wherever they lead to ancient gods, cosmic wars,
- 2:40flying machines, and flood myths that stretch across time.
- 2:44Because some believe the Kailasa Temple is more than a spiritual
- 2:48monument. Some believe it's a relic, a
- 2:51beacon, a marker from a time when the gods still walked the
- 2:55earth. This is the Annunaki connection,
- 2:59and the mystery begins now. Music.
- 4:09According to conventional history, the temple was ordered
- 4:11by King Krishna, the first of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, around
- 4:15756 AD. The story goes that he wanted to
- 4:19recreate Mount Kailasa, the mythic Himalayan home of Lord
- 4:23Shiva, right here on earth. And so, using simple hammers and
- 4:27chisels, a team of stone workers allegedly spent 18 years carving
- 4:31it out of the mountain. That's the official story, but
- 4:34it doesn't hold up. Let's do the math.
- 4:37Over 400,000 tons of solid base salt rock would have had to be
- 4:41removed. That's roughly 200,000 cubic
- 4:44meters. If they worked non-stop for 18
- 4:47years, day and night, that would still require removing about 60
- 4:51tons of stone every single day. Not shaping stone, not carving
- 4:55decorations, just removal with iron chisels and hammers on
- 5:00volcanic basalt. A stone so hard that even modern
- 5:03machinery would struggle. And yet, not only was the rock
- 5:07removed with unexplainable precision, the resulting
- 5:11structure wasn't rough or basic. It was magnificent.
- 5:15The Kailasa Temple includes 2 stories, a massive courtyard,
- 5:20multiple shrines, complex drainage systems, suspended
- 5:24bridges and sculpted reliefs that rival anything in Europe's
- 5:27cathedrals. And it's all perfectly
- 5:30symmetrical. Every pillar, every carving,
- 5:34every shrine meticulously aligned as if done with laser
- 5:39guided tools. But it gets stranger.
- 5:42There's no inscription anywhere on the site crediting its
- 5:45architect. No blueprints, no construction
- 5:48logs, and no records in any of the major Indian texts from that
- 5:52time. That's not normal.
- 5:56In ancient India, temples were sacred expressions of divine
- 5:59patronage. Kings would always inscribe
- 6:02their names on such structures. Entire epics were written about
- 6:06the construction of far less impressive shrines.
- 6:09But kailasa? Silence.
- 6:13It's as if it just appeared. And then there's the bigger
- 6:18problem, the absence of rubble. If hundreds of thousands of tons
- 6:22of basalt were removed, where did it go?
- 6:26There are no nearby debris fields, no piles of waste rock,
- 6:29no remnants of massive excavation.
- 6:32Some researchers have suggested it was vaporized or somehow
- 6:35melted away. Others believe it was removed
- 6:38using technologies we've lost or never had.
- 6:42Ancient texts do mention beings with the power to cut through
- 6:45stone with sound or raise mountains with a word.
- 6:50Legends, maybe. But when the physical evidence
- 6:54matches the myth, maybe the myth deserves a second look.
- 6:58Because what we're left with is this.
- 7:01A temple carved with impossible precision out of a single rock,
- 7:06built with unknown methods, lacking any construction trail
- 7:11and bearing no name. The deeper you go into the story
- 7:15of Kailasa and the more it begins to feel like a recovered
- 7:18artifact, one that may not have been meant for us to understand.
- 7:23One that whispers of something much older and much more
- 7:26advanced than anything we've been allowed to imagine.
- 7:53The official record says the Kailasa temple was carved around
- 7:57756 AD, commissioned by a king named Krishna the first.
- 8:02But the people of the land remember it differently.
- 8:05One of the most enduring legends comes from the Marathi speaking
- 8:09villagers who live near Illora. It begins with a queen.
- 8:13Her name is lost, her king gravely ill.
- 8:18In desperation, she makes a vow to Lord Shiva.
- 8:22If my husband is healed, I will build you a temple.
- 8:26And I won't eat until the shikhara, the crown of the
- 8:28temple, is complete. Shiva grants her wish.
- 8:32The king recovers. But now the queen faces a new
- 8:36dilemma. Temples take years to build, and
- 8:40she refuses to break her fast until the tower is finished.
- 8:44That's when the royal architect Cocasa, the Master of Stone, is
- 8:50said to have done the impossible.
- 8:52He orders the work to begin not from the base, but from the top,
- 8:57carving down through solid mountain cutting stone with a
- 9:00precision no one can explain. And by dawn the Shikara is
- 9:04complete. The Queen sees it and breaks her
- 9:08fast. That's the legend.
- 9:11But here's what makes it more than just a story.
- 9:14The temple really was carved top down.
- 9:17Modern archaeologists confirm it.
- 9:20No other temple in India was built this way.
- 9:22Why would ancient builders choose the most difficult,
- 9:25dangerous and irreversible method?
- 9:27Other versions of the story tell it differently.
- 9:30Some say it was built by Shiva, that the temple is a copy, a
- 9:34terrestrial echo of Mount Kailasa in Tibet, the sacred
- 9:38peak said to be his divine throne.
- 9:40Still others say the being behind it wasn't Shiva at all,
- 9:44but Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, half God, half human.
- 9:50According to the Ramayana, Ravana once tried to lift Mount
- 9:54Kailasa and carry it back to his Kingdom as an offering.
- 9:58Shiva, unmoved, pressed down with a single toe and pinned him
- 10:02beneath it in agony. Ravana cried out, not in anger
- 10:06but in worship. He composed A hymn so powerful,
- 10:09so pure, that Shiva forgave him. Some say that act of devotion,
- 10:14Ravana's submission, is what gave birth to the Kailasa
- 10:17temple. A strange detail also appears
- 10:20far from India, in a completely different tradition.
- 10:24In the ancient Hebrew texts, King Solomon is said to have
- 10:27built the first temple without using metal tools.
- 10:30Instead he used a strange device, the Shamir, A mysterious
- 10:35force or entity capable of cutting through stone like it
- 10:38was paper. Guided, directed and controlled,
- 10:43it could shape even the hardest rock without leaving a mark, a
- 10:47tool so powerful it had to be kept in lead containers to stop
- 10:50its power from leaking out. Never mass produced and never
- 10:54replicated, it was passed down through priesthoods known only
- 10:59to a select few. Some say it was a lost artifact
- 11:02of the gods, others say it was alive, and some believe the
- 11:06Shamir wasn't a myth but a leftover technology from the age
- 11:09of the Anunnaki. Could Cocasa have used something
- 11:13like the Shamir? Could the temple have been cut
- 11:15not with iron, but with light, resonance or sound?
- 11:19Is that why there are no tool marks, no debris, no written
- 11:23instructions? What we're looking at may not
- 11:26have been built by hands at all. One possibility, and a theory
- 11:56that has been speculated for decades, is the idea that the
- 11:59builders used resonance frequency or vibration that
- 12:04could cut and shape the very rock of the mountain.
- 12:07This would explain why there are no tool marks.
- 12:10In Baalbek, Lebanon, we find stone blocks weighing hundreds
- 12:13of tons, all perfectly shaped and stacked together.
- 12:17No mortar. How were they moved?
- 12:20How were they shaped? In Petra, Jordan, temples are
- 12:24carved directly into cliffs with sharp, defined edges, as though
- 12:28the stone was sculpted using a technique we still can't
- 12:31replicate today. Across the world, we find
- 12:35ancient sites with stonework that modern tools can't even
- 12:38begin to match. A lost global civilization, or
- 12:43perhaps a precursor to our own? Modern scientists have already
- 12:48shown that certain frequencies of sound can actually move
- 12:52objects, even lift them off the ground.
- 12:59In labs around the world, researchers have demonstrated
- 13:02that sound waves can cause stone to levitate using ultrasonic
- 13:07acoustic levitation. Objects have been suspended in
- 13:11mid air without any physical contact, using nothing but waves
- 13:16of pressure. In 2015, engineers at the
- 13:20University of Tokyo used phased ultrasonic arrays to create a 3D
- 13:25acoustic field that could trap and move small objects in all
- 13:29directions. Sound can be used to counter
- 13:33gravity. In 1988, Swedish engineer John
- 13:37Stuart Reed built the Cymascope, a device that converts sound
- 13:41into visible geometric patterns on water and other media, a
- 13:46field called Cymatics. Reed and others have shown that
- 13:51sound can structure matter, organize it, direct it.
- 14:04What if ancient civilizations had mastered acoustic tools
- 14:08capable of focusing sound at specific frequencies, not just
- 14:12to lift objects, but to cut stone?
- 14:16In 2008, NASA researchers tested resonance based disintegration
- 14:21on stone using focused vibrations.
- 14:24They found that certain frequencies can cause fractures,
- 14:27cracks, or even vaporization with no visible damage to
- 14:31surrounding areas. Sonic drills are being developed
- 14:35that use vibration instead of rotation to bore through rock.
- 14:39These systems are quieter, faster and more efficient than
- 14:43traditional drills, and they're still in early stages.
- 14:48Which begs the question, if we're just now tapping into
- 14:51these tools, who used them before?
- 14:54In the Himalayas, Tibetan monks have long spoken of the ability
- 14:57to move boulders using sound. In 1939, Swedish explorer Doctor
- 15:02JAL wrote about witnessing Tibetan llamas using long
- 15:05trumpets and rhythmic chanting to levitate massive stones into
- 15:08place while building a monastery.
- 15:10He described it as ritualistic, precise and beyond explanation.
- 15:16His report was buried for decades.
- 15:31Pashupati, Lord of the beasts. Found.
- 15:35On a seal dated to around 2500 BC.
- 15:38Deep. Within the ruins.
- 15:39Of the Indus Valley civilization.
- 15:41The image. Shows a horned seated figure
- 15:43surrounded by animals, legs crossed in yogic posture.
- 15:48Archaeologists. Labeled it Proto Shiva, but the
- 15:52symbolism. Is already complete.
- 15:55The serpents, the third eye, the connection to animals, fertility
- 15:59and trance states, it's all there.
- 16:01Thousands of years before the Hindu Vedas were ever written.
- 16:05And that raises a question, was Shiva not invented by Vedic
- 16:08tradition but inherited a pre Vedic God?
- 16:13Older than the caste systems, older than the texts worshipped
- 16:16by the earliest known civilization in India, and
- 16:20possibly one of the oldest continuously worshipped deities
- 16:22on earth. In Hinduism, the divine is split
- 16:25across three faces. Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the
- 16:30preserver. Shiva, the destroyer.
- 16:34In ancient Mesopotamia, the same pattern emerges.
- 16:37Anu the creator, king of heaven and leal, commander.
- 16:42Lawgiver, Lord of the wind and storm.
- 16:45Enki, master of the waters, keeper of wisdom, and creator of
- 16:49humanity through forbidden knowledge.
- 16:51The match is almost perfect. Brahma, like Anu, is remote,
- 16:55largely absent, more force than personality.
- 16:59Vishnu, like Enlil, descends to restore order, favors divine
- 17:02law, and intervenes only when balance breaks.
- 17:05And Shiva, like Enki, is wild, untamed, brilliant, often at
- 17:10odds with the others. A.
- 17:12Bringer of destruction. And transformation.
- 17:15A God who lives outside of time, surrounded by serpents.
- 17:19Keeper of mysteries. In Sumerian accounts, Enki
- 17:23descended to earth with 7 comrades.
- 17:25The Upkalu described as hybrid beings, part man, part fish or
- 17:30bird. They emerged from the sea to
- 17:32teach civilization. They taught agriculture,
- 17:34mathematics, writing and architecture.
- 17:37In India, Shiva also appears with mysterious attendants and
- 17:41sages. He is said to have taught the
- 17:42first yogis the Sapta Rishi, 7 immortal sages who appear in
- 17:47almost every Hindu cosmological cycle.
- 17:50They're. Linked to the stars of the Big
- 17:51Dipper, a connection also found in Mesopotamian and Egyptian
- 17:55myth. 7 Sages from the sky teaching humanity.
- 17:59Again the pattern emerges. The same cast of divine beings
- 18:03remembered by different names. Shiva.
- 18:05Wields the Trishula. A triple pronged spear said to
- 18:08represent the destruction of time itself in Mesopotamia.
- 18:11Enki's sacred object is the Rod of the Deep, often paired with
- 18:15serpents and water imagery. Shiva wears a serpent around his
- 18:18neck. Enki's symbol is the serpent
- 18:21rising from water. A memory or a cultural avatar of
- 18:25Enki worshipped under a new name in a new land.
- 18:52In the great Indian epics the Ramayana and the Mahabharata,
- 18:56there are gods, there are kings, there are demons.
- 19:01But there's something else. Technology.
- 19:04Craft that fly, Weapons that vaporize armies.
- 19:08Cities that float in the sky and descend to earth like Chariots
- 19:12made of light. These are not metaphors.
- 19:15These are vimanas. Ancient Sanskrit texts describe
- 19:18them in precise mechanical detail, circular or triangular
- 19:22in shape, manned by pilots capable of vertical takeoff,
- 19:26propelled by mercury engines, solar power, or even something
- 19:30called the anti gravity core. The Vimanaka Shastra, a
- 19:35controversial 20th century text allegedly based on ancient
- 19:38sources, details entire schematics, levers, propulsion
- 19:42systems, flight manuals. Skeptics dismiss it as
- 19:46pseudoscience, but if it's fiction, it's remarkably
- 19:50consistent with descriptions found thousands of years earlier
- 19:54in the Ramayana. Ravana's Pushpaka Vimana is
- 19:57described as a flying palace capable of speed, stealth, and
- 20:01vertical descent. In the Mahabharata, we find gods
- 20:05using weapons that resemble lasers, missiles, and even
- 20:08nuclear blasts. Mushroom clouds, hair and nails
- 20:11falling out. The land scorched for
- 20:14generations, their eyewitness accounts preserved in scripture.
- 20:19And behind these sky machines were the Devas and Asuras, the
- 20:23gods and their rivals, divine beings locked in an endless war
- 20:29over control of the earth. In one age, the devas rule.
- 20:34In the next, the asuras rise over and over, across yugas and
- 20:39cycles. The asuras are described as
- 20:42offspring of the gods, sometimes birthed through unions with
- 20:46humans or otherworldly women. Gigantic, brilliant, rebellious.
- 20:52They sound a lot like the Nephilim.
- 20:55In the Book of Enoch, we're told the sons of God descended to
- 20:58earth and mated with human women, producing hybrids,
- 21:01giants, warriors. They taught forbidden knowledge.
- 21:06They corrupted the earth. And for that, they were haunted
- 21:10by the archangels, just as the Devas hunt the Asuras, just as
- 21:15Enlil tried to wipe out the offspring of the Watchers.
- 21:18And many of these hybrids, these giants, these divine kings, were
- 21:23worshipped. Take Gilgamesh, king of Uruk,
- 21:272/3 God, one third man born of a divine bloodline.
- 21:32He defied the gods. He sought immortality, and in
- 21:36the great flood that came, he was one of the few to survive.
- 21:39Compare him to Rama, Arjuna, Karna, heroes of Indian myth,
- 21:45all born of gods, all given divine weapons, all manipulated
- 21:49by powers beyond their control. But their story always ends the
- 21:53same way, with a reset. A flood.
- 21:57In India, it's Manu, warned by a mysterious fish, an avatar of
- 22:02Vishnu, of a coming cataclysm. The fish instructs him to build
- 22:07a boat to gather the sages, the seeds of all living things, and
- 22:12wait for the waters to subside. In Mesopotamia, it's Ziosudra,
- 22:16Atrahasis and Utna Pishtim. In the Bible, it's Noah.
- 22:21The pattern is identical. The gods grow angry.
- 22:25The earth is corrupted by unnatural beings.
- 22:28A flood is sent to wipe the slate clean.
- 22:32One family survives, guided by a God who chooses knowledge over
- 22:36destruction. In summer, that God is Enki.
- 22:40In India, it's Vishnu, A preserver but also a figure who,
- 22:44like Enki, defies the will of the others.
- 22:47The story ends with survival, but not without loss.
- 22:52The skycraft are gone, the giants are no more, the gods
- 22:56vanish into myth, and the world begins again.
- 23:00Until the next cycle, until the next war, and perhaps until the
- 23:06gods return. Was Kailasa Temple built to
- 23:28shelter knowledge or technology from the flood?
- 23:32Why go to the impossible lengths of carving downward through
- 23:36solid mountain? Why design a structure with no
- 23:39inscriptions, no construction trail, and no clear religious
- 23:44origin? What if Kailasa wasn't meant to
- 23:48be seen in its time? What if it was meant to last
- 23:51through something? In nearly every flood myth,
- 23:55whether it's Manu, Noah, or Zayasudra, we're told that not
- 23:59just people were saved, but knowledge.
- 24:02What if some of that wasn't stored on boats, but in stone?
- 24:07If the Anunnaki really were here?
- 24:09If beings like Enki or the Apkalu ceded human civilization
- 24:13before the flood, then it would make sense for them to protect
- 24:17that knowledge. Somewhere it couldn't be washed
- 24:19away. Somewhere like this.
- 24:22A temple that can't be burned, buried, or erased.
- 24:25Maybe that's why there's no written explanation.
- 24:29We were never meant to understand it with words.
- 24:32We were meant to preserve it until the time came to remember.
- 25:13The. The.
- 26:16The.
