God looked inside of you and me and saw that there was nothing we could do to save ourselves. There was absolutely no way we were ever going to be able to meet his demand for perfection. As a result, our eternal future didn’t look very good. So, God did something about it. He took it upon himself. He sent his son. He had Jesus live the perfect life we never could. He then had his son give his life in payment for your sins and mine. As a result of Jesus’ death and resurrection, the ransom has been paid. Our sins are gone! We are once more…
