  Hi, everyone. This is Angel. Today is Thursday, January 23rd, 2025.

  I got food poisoning Saturday, Saturday night.

  While in the process of recording a podcast with Dr.

  I had just finished eating a salad, and in the middle of recording,
• 0:27
  I felt my stomach turning into some crazy knots and we were on to the races.

  So yeah, I've never been in that situation before, never had food poisoning.
• 0:37
  If any of you understand what that feels like, you understand what I went through.
• 0:40
  I don't need to go into detail, but it really rocked me to the core so much that I.
• 0:49
  I still have people calling and checking on me. So that's a text.
• 0:54
  But yeah, it really rocked me to the point where even today,
• 0:59
  you know, I've been officially back at work since yesterday,
• 1:02
  but even today I'm very weak.

  I would say maybe like 65% better.

  It's not been easy. That combined with you know having to try to help out at
• 1:15
  home as best as i could big shout outs to my wife who really stepped up and
• 1:20
  took care of everything allowed me to rest as much as i could,
• 1:24
  and of course colleagues at work like nick and justin and everyone who stepped
• 1:28
  up and i appreciate all that you've done and all the phone calls and dr e of
• 1:32
  course reaching out to me and.
• 1:35
  But it really, it really slowed me down.
• 1:38
  So the reason why I'm on the air with you right now is because I'm in the parking
• 1:42
  lot, getting ready to go to work.
• 1:43
  And even today right now, you know, feeling weak in my stomach,
• 1:47
  not being at 100%. I said, you know what?
• 1:50
  The half-eighth letter B family definitely needs an update because they're probably
• 1:54
  wondering what is going on.
• 1:55
  This is definitely something that's unprecedented for us.

  We've been on the air for seven years. I've never been off the air without even
• 2:03
  giving you a notification.

  Of course, you know, there's times where I've been sick and I've at least said
• 2:09
  some kind of a message or I've missed an episode because of technical errors,

  but nothing like just radio silence.

  I will continue to keep you posted as I try to get better.
