00:21:58,800 --> 00:22:00,800 [Music] 143 00:22:00,800 --> 00:22:02,800 [Music] 144 00:22:02,800 --> 00:22:08,020 we haven't built up the midcard yet for a guy to kind of break through and ascend 145 00:22:08,020 --> 00:22:14,140 They really got to kind of push that card in 2026. Yeah. Yeah, they certainly do it's 146 00:22:14,140 --> 00:22:23,280 A lot on the table for a w this year and I'm excited to see where things go for them by year end here and what type of company will they be? 147 00:22:23,280 --> 00:22:29,740 They cannot plateau. They can't do what WWE did in 2025. They need to have another 148 00:22:30,380 --> 00:22:34,020 2025 with a little bit more emphasis by the end of this year as well 149 00:22:34,020 --> 00:22:39,100 I mean they really need to get back to solidifying themselves in that vein of where they were in 2019 150 00:22:39,100 --> 00:22:41,820 2022 as a company by year end 151 00:22:41,820 --> 00:22:50,680 Dr. Trey is there anything else outside of the world of professional wrestling outside of the WWE's and a W's of the world that you'd like to 152 00:22:50,680 --> 00:22:52,680 Preview here for 2026? 153 00:22:52,680 --> 00:22:58,940 I'm really excited to see what TNA does this year like getting that contract with with AMC 154 00:23:00,020 --> 00:23:04,860 Hopefully that also brings a little bit of influx of money into the company 155 00:23:04,860 --> 00:23:10,580 You know, they've done they also have done a really good job of not just 156 00:23:10,580 --> 00:23:19,220 Building up their young guys, but you know bringing in the nicknames bringing in the Matt Jeff Hardies bringing in the Cedric Alexander's the 157 00:23:19,220 --> 00:23:23,300 Mustafa Elise, you know really smart signings 158 00:23:23,780 --> 00:23:30,220 That add to your roster and help improve your locker room. So maybe the little bit more money now 159 00:23:30,220 --> 00:23:35,820 We actually can get to a point where we have three top tier companies and then it's gonna be just to see how the 160 00:23:35,820 --> 00:23:40,320 NXT TNA stuff kind of works itself out with 161 00:23:40,320 --> 00:23:45,740 TNA getting the AMC contract because they're not owned there. That's a different 162 00:23:45,740 --> 00:23:49,460 subsidiary different, you know company than what? 163 00:23:50,060 --> 00:23:56,380 WWE's under so that you know does that partnership come to an end and if that partnership ends 164 00:23:56,380 --> 00:23:58,940 Does that actually hurt TNA? 165 00:23:58,940 --> 00:24:06,660 Because they've kind of been a little bit of a feeding ground for WWE. We've seen you know Joe and Dury Jordan Grace 166 00:24:06,660 --> 00:24:09,700 You know make the moves from TNA to NXT 167 00:24:09,700 --> 00:24:14,420 We saw you know Leon Slater get feature of Sarah's made event a few weeks back 168 00:24:14,420 --> 00:24:18,540 You know is it is this one of those things where it's like hey this partnerships ending 169 00:24:18,900 --> 00:24:24,220 But we're still on good terms or you know does W start treating them like 170 00:24:24,220 --> 00:24:27,220 another rival company down the line so 171 00:24:27,220 --> 00:24:35,420 But you know we talked about a little bit earlier like if WWE let some younger guys go that might be another landing spot for them 172 00:24:35,420 --> 00:24:44,300 To capitalize on would be a place like TNA. We've seen you know the the West Lee Desmond Xavier go back to TNA after his release from WWE 173 00:24:44,820 --> 00:24:50,580 Does does that kind of trend kind of continue on if we see some NXT releases later this year? 174 00:24:50,580 --> 00:24:55,940 Yeah TNA to me is like the number one thing because you know in years when we used to do the show 175 00:24:55,940 --> 00:25:01,420 We would like preview R.O.H. We preview the independence and R.O.H. is a subsidiary now of a W 176 00:25:01,420 --> 00:25:06,780 And I don't even know what's going on in R.O.H. for the most part anymore unless it makes its way to a W 177 00:25:06,780 --> 00:25:13,140 An independent wrestling unfortunately is is nowhere near where it was when we first started the show 16 years ago 178 00:25:13,340 --> 00:25:19,300 So outside of the WWE and AW bubbles the big thing for me outside of that scope is TNA 179 00:25:19,300 --> 00:25:28,060 I really really hope that they have another strong year. I love the buzz around them. I love the 180 00:25:28,060 --> 00:25:37,980 The image that they've created for themselves. It's not a negative one. It's a very positive one. They're putting some stars together that are making their way over to WWE 181 00:25:39,060 --> 00:25:45,980 It's it's great and I'm very happy for them. I'm happy for the longtime TNA fans like like our pal here Dr. Trey 182 00:25:45,980 --> 00:25:50,780 And that to me is the big one. I know you mentioned the AMC deal which kicks off very soon 183 00:25:50,780 --> 00:25:57,020 And in regards to the relationship with WWE both companies did come out and say that you know even with this TV partnership 184 00:25:57,020 --> 00:26:02,460 The WWE TNA partnership NXT partnership will continue moving forward. So 185 00:26:02,460 --> 00:26:08,180 That is a plus for for both sides. I feel like everybody has gotten a really good 186 00:26:08,820 --> 00:26:14,700 amount out of this and I hope that continues onward that this is this is how TNA is viewed 187 00:26:14,700 --> 00:26:22,580 in WWE and WWE's viewed favorably within TNA because I'm excited for where things go for them if there's 188 00:26:22,580 --> 00:26:29,220 Two things I'm most excited about in regards to trajectory and how they could capitalize off of a solid 2025 189 00:26:29,220 --> 00:26:35,820 It's certainly AW and TNA and probably more TNA and AW because we've seen AW do it TNA 190 00:26:36,540 --> 00:26:45,100 We haven't in some time and it would really be like a Phoenix coming out of the ashes, Dr. Trey because the 2010s were not content kind to them 191 00:26:45,100 --> 00:26:49,940 There were different points in that 2010s era that I thought that they were gonna be done 192 00:26:49,940 --> 00:26:52,020 I think they probably thought that they were gonna be done 193 00:26:52,020 --> 00:26:56,900 Hell there were multiple name changes from TNA to impact wrestling period of time 194 00:26:56,900 --> 00:27:03,300 They were global wrestling or global force wrestling for a very brief period of time and now back to TNA 195 00:27:03,300 --> 00:27:07,420 And they've had a strong two years and I hope it continues upward for them 196 00:27:07,420 --> 00:27:11,980 Because when I have tuned into the shows when I haven't tuned into the matches. I'm like wait what 355 00:39:29,980 --> 00:39:33,180 So and if we sat here and it's like cake and you 356 00:39:33,180 --> 00:39:40,300 Well one by one as I type it doesn't make for a great podcast so Dr. Tray you'll have to text me the card after you 357 00:39:40,300 --> 00:39:42,700 I'll mark off I'll mark off the ones I didn't give 358 00:39:42,700 --> 00:39:45,100 So okay, you can now it's fair 359 00:39:45,100 --> 00:39:46,620 All right, so what do you think man? 360 00:39:46,700 --> 00:39:53,260 I mean this is getting harder and harder to do this each year. It is I and I don't so how did you like I want to I want to ask you 361 00:39:53,260 --> 00:39:58,620 This is well, hey, I have two questions for you one is from earlier when you say we're getting older and you're turning 40 362 00:39:58,620 --> 00:40:03,260 Do genders get gray hair? I get white not gray so okay 363 00:40:03,260 --> 00:40:08,060 I was curious about that most genders. I know just go bald and then they don't have any 364 00:40:08,060 --> 00:40:12,060 Light hair. So I certainly don't have as much hair as I used to but yes 365 00:40:12,060 --> 00:40:16,620 I'm not full bald, but I'm not I'm not bald either so yeah 366 00:40:17,420 --> 00:40:20,220 All right, well my question was what you were constructing your card 367 00:40:20,220 --> 00:40:25,100 How did you did you just pull up the rosters and mix match or did you try to go off the top of your head? 368 00:40:25,100 --> 00:40:28,620 Um, I try to go off the top of my head 369 00:40:28,620 --> 00:40:32,140 So in the last several weeks right after the saturday night's main event 370 00:40:32,140 --> 00:40:39,100 I think everybody's thinking Cody and Roman at Mania and I was fully in I was gonna go that direction definitely after war games 371 00:40:39,100 --> 00:40:40,860 but 372 00:40:40,860 --> 00:40:41,660 um 373 00:40:41,660 --> 00:40:45,820 There's a lot of people that are pointing out how emotional Cody roads was after the saturday night's main event 374 00:40:45,820 --> 00:40:49,980 I do believe it was legitimate because he's a road and Cody typically gets emotional 375 00:40:49,980 --> 00:40:53,820 But I do think that there is some storyline behind that where he is going to avenge 376 00:40:53,820 --> 00:40:56,460 John Cena from Gunther at 377 00:40:56,460 --> 00:40:58,460 WrestleMania, so 378 00:40:58,460 --> 00:41:02,140 I think that's where I got the Gunther part in there in Roman Reigns 379 00:41:02,140 --> 00:41:05,260 Basically like I had no idea where to put him 380 00:41:05,260 --> 00:41:10,940 In all honesty and I think put him in a triple threat with Cody roads and Gunther's is equally as good 381 00:41:10,940 --> 00:41:13,260 I don't want to see Roman and Brock Lesnar again 382 00:41:13,900 --> 00:41:18,940 But I thought that was on the table. I do think Bronn Breaker and CM Punk is on the table 383 00:41:18,940 --> 00:41:22,540 No matter I don't know who is gonna be the champion at that point 384 00:41:22,540 --> 00:41:27,740 Jade and Bianca seems like it's clear cut to me. I think AJ Lee needs to get in there 385 00:41:27,740 --> 00:41:30,700 Keep the title on 75 core. I had a tough time booking 386 00:41:30,700 --> 00:41:33,980 Roman Reigns Lesnar 387 00:41:33,980 --> 00:41:36,300 LA Knight Rear Ripley specifically 388 00:41:36,300 --> 00:41:39,020 Because I didn't know what to do with Reigns Lesnar 389 00:41:39,020 --> 00:41:42,060 I put with Jacob Fatou because I think that would be great for both guys 390 00:41:42,620 --> 00:41:46,620 And be a dogfight and LA Knight and by the time that this show drops 391 00:41:46,620 --> 00:41:48,620 It's possible that LA Knight is returned 392 00:41:48,620 --> 00:41:51,100 I thought that the angle that they ran 393 00:41:51,100 --> 00:41:56,460 Couple weeks back where LA Knight was on the car and Bronson Reed laid him out 394 00:41:56,460 --> 00:42:01,340 I thought that that was the beginning of a new feud for for both those guys 395 00:42:01,340 --> 00:42:04,540 I felt like this could be something that you see for the next four months 396 00:42:04,540 --> 00:42:07,900 Between the both of them and I'm fine with that with LA Knight and Bronson Reed so 397 00:42:07,900 --> 00:42:11,500 Um, and then other thing is I hope Elya gets on the car 398 00:42:11,500 --> 00:42:15,500 And I think Drew McAhtair would be really worthy opponent and then figuring out the Jericho stuff 399 00:42:15,500 --> 00:42:18,300 And you always have Randy Orton on there. What would you do with those guys? 400 00:42:18,300 --> 00:42:19,820 Well, let's put him together 401 00:42:19,820 --> 00:42:22,060 So it's uh the upper card 402 00:42:22,060 --> 00:42:24,780 I always feel like okay, this could work 403 00:42:24,780 --> 00:42:27,180 The undercard is always difficult 404 00:42:27,180 --> 00:42:30,380 But then again when we sat here a year ago and did WrestleMania 41 405 00:42:30,380 --> 00:42:32,780 When I did my bold predictions and WrestleMania 41 406 00:42:32,780 --> 00:42:37,020 Coming off that show and I feel like when you know when we listen back to it 407 00:42:37,020 --> 00:42:39,420 I thought I was gonna go like 408 00:42:39,660 --> 00:42:42,860 100% and I was gonna be like this not your dumbest for 409 00:42:42,860 --> 00:42:46,780 Uh, like figuring this shit out and I was completely wrong. So 410 00:42:46,780 --> 00:42:52,700 This year not too strong dr. Treble that was kind of like my thought process behind the WrestleMania 42 card build 411 00:42:52,700 --> 00:42:55,100 Yeah, I I 412 00:42:55,100 --> 00:43:00,140 Not gonna like I pulled up the rosters and went okay. Here's this person who can I see them with 413 00:43:00,140 --> 00:43:05,020 And it got hard because you start realizing it's like wow the raw roster has a lot of heels 414 00:43:05,020 --> 00:43:09,500 Um, and they don't that's where you get like the brawn breaker, brock, lezzer 415 00:43:09,500 --> 00:43:11,820 Like maybe these two guys are both heels right now 416 00:43:11,820 --> 00:43:15,180 Maybe that could be a good match of the WrestleMania 417 00:43:15,180 --> 00:43:17,740 And that was you're absolutely right like certain people 418 00:43:17,740 --> 00:43:24,220 And I don't want to say it's it's the icons or just just like the guys who have been a leaf for long time 419 00:43:24,220 --> 00:43:29,660 The Romans the brocks reas like you mentioned. It's hard to slot them in because you can go 420 00:43:29,660 --> 00:43:39,260 Hey, do we get Brock in a main event title match or do we get Brock and Oma or Omas like just like is it completely random and 421 00:43:39,260 --> 00:43:44,140 Just like else to giants for fighting it out or whatever like and that's where in 422 00:43:44,140 --> 00:43:51,900 Listening to our predictions from last year. I went okay. I can't need jerk too much off what I've just seen 423 00:43:51,900 --> 00:43:57,980 So I'm kind of having to project storylines out like I have Damien Priests at some point turning heel 424 00:43:57,980 --> 00:44:03,020 Because oh my god, I was like I don't know what to do with them 425 00:44:03,020 --> 00:44:07,260 And I'm like well that could be a challenger for a baby face champion 426 00:44:07,260 --> 00:44:13,660 So if he turns heel and they form like a house of darkness with him and Alster Black and then maybe somebody else that might be 427 00:44:13,660 --> 00:44:18,460 Something for the why it's to fight down the lines. I'm trying to project stuff out 428 00:44:18,460 --> 00:44:26,060 Like not just for Mania, but then post Mania and like I went I probably really over I probably really overthought this 429 00:44:26,060 --> 00:44:30,460 And I'm gonna go over 14 15 60 whatever I have on the sheet here 430 00:44:30,460 --> 00:44:36,940 Yeah, it's it's difficult because I left Damien Priests off there and I think Damien Priests is extremely talented and should be on the card 431 00:44:37,020 --> 00:44:40,460 And he was left off the card last year. I believe so it's 432 00:44:40,460 --> 00:44:45,740 It's difficult. No, he had the Drew McIntyre match. Oh, right. He had the Drew McIntyre match 433 00:44:45,740 --> 00:44:49,580 I mean was it the which is the one of the ones which is one of the ones I actually got right 434 00:44:49,580 --> 00:44:54,860 Yes, he had the Drew McIntyre match. Yeah, it's like Alster Black leaving him off there 435 00:44:54,860 --> 00:44:59,580 I think God I don't work in creative because I have no idea so um 436 00:44:59,580 --> 00:45:06,300 They're both here's another crazy thing you and I both left Penta off the card. Well, I think it's the injury right? 437 00:45:06,620 --> 00:45:11,980 Yeah, but then you don't also like where does he slot in like where do you put him like if he's if he's 438 00:45:11,980 --> 00:45:14,300 Recover because you guys remember Mania still 439 00:45:14,300 --> 00:45:19,180 Four months away. Yeah, and Ray Phoenix is is left off the card as well 440 00:45:19,180 --> 00:45:24,460 I'm that I didn't that didn't surprise you because he really hasn't done a whole lot. No, unfortunately 441 00:45:24,460 --> 00:45:28,140 So yeah, yeah, I brought a thing really kind of screwed it all up 442 00:45:28,140 --> 00:45:31,820 And we don't have mr. Guana on the card. Oh God 443 00:45:31,820 --> 00:45:35,020 Yeah, how could we 444 00:45:35,260 --> 00:45:41,500 Um, yeah, it's it's really really tough and it's gotten tougher and tougher tougher as the Rossers expanded and you try to figure things out 445 00:45:41,500 --> 00:45:45,420 And we will see dr. Trey we will open up the vault of 446 00:45:45,420 --> 00:45:52,860 SRT you on December 24th 2025 and we shall see how our bold predictions uh looked 447 00:45:52,860 --> 00:45:58,620 A year from now or less than a year from now. I I'm assuming that we look back and go what the hell were we thinking? 448 00:45:58,620 --> 00:46:04,700 I mean if it's anything like last year the uh the audience will be like what the hell are these guys thinking? 449 00:46:04,940 --> 00:46:06,300 It was obvious guy. I mean 450 00:46:06,300 --> 00:46:10,940 Have we got any negative like I'm waiting here on this plays out like I want to hear what people 451 00:46:10,940 --> 00:46:16,060 Like say after left to hear the cars are like what were these people thinking like what are they on drugs? 452 00:46:16,060 --> 00:46:21,660 Like what god it was so obvious that Gunther was gonna fight LA night at wrestle mania. How did you guys miss that? 453 00:46:21,660 --> 00:46:24,300 Well, what's funny is I think last year 454 00:46:24,300 --> 00:46:30,380 So we always try to do this around the holidays as I mentioned before on previous shows or the dr. Trey and I can get a couple weeks off during the holidays 455 00:46:30,380 --> 00:46:33,500 recoup rebuild all that good stuff and um 456 00:46:33,820 --> 00:46:39,500 I remember last year like we had Josh Alexander going and I see the both of us and I'm pretty sure 457 00:46:39,500 --> 00:46:42,620 Like he landed in a w before that show dropped 458 00:46:42,620 --> 00:46:48,060 Or it was like right around it. It was either right after or just before it 459 00:46:48,060 --> 00:46:53,500 That's because Josh Alexander loves making me look like an idiot despite my weird man love for him 460 00:46:53,500 --> 00:46:58,940 Um, and we're friends on Facebook and I even I didn't know that he was going to a w and I'm like 461 00:46:59,820 --> 00:47:05,100 No, he just likes to do that out of spite just to kind of make me look like an idiot. So that's yeah, that was him like going oh 462 00:47:05,100 --> 00:47:09,580 Oh, the yeah, if you guys are putting in the bull prediction, I'm gonna go to a w week early 463 00:47:09,580 --> 00:47:13,900 Yeah, after dr. Trey. This is what I'm doing. I'm signing here now. Yeah the nx contract in his hands 464 00:47:13,900 --> 00:47:18,460 SRT using the background in here's dr. Trey say I think it's gonna go to nxc and he's like rip 465 00:47:18,460 --> 00:47:21,180 See you. Yep. So there you go 466 00:47:21,180 --> 00:47:23,820 That is our 467 00:47:23,820 --> 00:47:31,660 1026 preview our wrestling preview special we will be back next week to get you ready for the royal rumble oddly enough 468 00:47:31,660 --> 00:47:36,140 We will be recapping everything that happened with the big first raw of 469 00:47:36,140 --> 00:47:38,700 2026 on Netflix you've got 470 00:47:38,700 --> 00:47:46,620 Rearplini a sky defending or taking on the kabuki warriors for the women's acting championship bron breaker versus CM punk for the world heavyweight championship 471 00:47:46,620 --> 00:47:51,740 Will we recap that and more all on next week's edition of SRT you on January 8th? 472 00:47:51,740 --> 00:47:57,660 So until what wait, but I gotta do our plug plugs and sponsors doctor.
