- 0:25Speaker 3: They're just jealous.
- 0:26Speaker 4: I guess.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I don't really do that too much anymore.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I do.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Mostly because I'm like, people don't care that this burrito
- 0:32Speaker 2: looks awesome.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I care.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:34Speaker 3: You're the only one I know.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I really care. The phrase, I did a thing.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Oh, barf.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Skinny jeans because it reminds them of Gru from Despicable Me.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I like my skinny jeans. I like the way they
- 0:47Speaker 2: feel against my legs.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Shut up.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Saying LOL out loud.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Are we saying LOL?
- 0:55Speaker 2: I guess somebody out there is going, LOL! I thought
- 0:58Speaker 2: that was just something we typed. In their skinny jeans.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Open-toed shoes, I guess, are super cringe right now. Okay, whatever.
- 1:06Speaker 2: The term adulting. Ooh, I'm adulting.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Side parts in your hair. Although, didn't we just talk
- 1:11Speaker 1: about how they were coming back?
- 1:12Speaker 3: We did.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 3: It's cyclical.
- 1:15Speaker 2: High-waisted jeans. Gosh, what type of pants are acceptable right now?
- 1:19Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:19Speaker 2: All right. And then finally, one that.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I have been guilty with, associated with since about 1998.
- 1:26Speaker 1: People who do Jim Carrey face. Those people are automatically cringy.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They're stuck in the 90s and refuse to grow up.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's unoriginal and makes people feel uncomfortable.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I know that is so you. I do it all
- 1:41Speaker 3: the time. That is so you.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I certainly do.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 1:46Speaker 3: You really do.
- 1:48Speaker 1: They say Jim Carrey face is embarrassing for you and
- 1:50Speaker 1: your friends.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Who's coming for Jim Carrey face? Well, you know what?
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm going to put my skinny jeans on today. I'm
- 1:59Speaker 1: going to make that face. And after I do it,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm going to be like, I did a thing.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you did.
- 2:04Speaker 2: And then I'm going to post a picture of a
- 2:05Speaker 2: cheeseburger online.
- 2:06Speaker 3: A cringy thing.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Y'all can suck it, Jinzy.
- 2:08Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Funny.
- 2:09Speaker 6: All right.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Speaking of being youthful and kid stuff, this lady with
- 2:14Speaker 1: the roller skates, huh?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Possibly cringy, too.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I don't know how I feel about this yet. I mean,
- 2:20Speaker 3: it's kind of cute.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I didn't like it at first, but now I'm kind
- 2:25Speaker 5: of coming on board.
- 2:25Speaker 3: So here's the story. There's a woman.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Her name's Heather. And she posted a flyer in Cheeseman Park.
- 2:31Speaker 5: And what it says on the flyer is, my name
- 2:34Speaker 5: is Heather, and I'm going to try and roller skate
- 2:37Speaker 5: for the first time in my life.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Come watch. Is it safe? Probably not. Can I do it?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Probably not.
- 2:45Speaker 5: August 22nd at 7 p.m., Cheeseman Park at the Pavilion.
- 2:48Speaker 5: And people showed up. A lot of people showed up
- 2:51Speaker 5: to see Heather skate for her first time ever. And
- 2:55Speaker 5: they loved it. It's all over TikTok. She made so
- 2:57Speaker 5: many people happy. And I think that's, again, like when
- 3:00Speaker 5: I saw the flyer, I'm like, what are we doing now?
- 3:03Speaker 1: What?
- 3:04Speaker 5: But she brought a lot of joy to people. Like
- 3:07Speaker 5: a lot of people showed up to see what she
- 3:09Speaker 5: was going to do. It made a lot of people laugh.
- 3:12Speaker 5: They put it all on TikTok. It was a big
- 3:14Speaker 5: turnout and so funny. People are commenting on the post
- 3:20Speaker 5: and they laughed. are loving it. They're like, this is
- 3:23Speaker 5: the bravest thing I've ever seen. She did a whole
- 3:25Speaker 5: photo shoot. This story has been giving me life. I'm
- 3:30Speaker 5: following on Instagram. Thank you so much, Heather. And everyone
- 3:34Speaker 5: just really commending her. What a good idea. And then
- 3:38Speaker 5: even we have a quote on the flyer.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I'm worried about her safety, signed Heather's mom. She tried
- 3:44Speaker 3: really hard to just make it fun, cheeky. And, you know, but,
- 3:48Speaker 3: you know, she's a grown woman. She's not a teenager
- 3:51Speaker 3: or anything.
- 3:51Speaker 5: I think they said she's 34 or something like that.
- 3:54Speaker 5: So she's a grown woman doing her, living her life.
- 3:58Speaker 5: And I just thought, you know, this is a way
- 4:00Speaker 5: that you can do something that Um, you know, it's
- 4:03Speaker 5: a way of putting yourself out there, but going viral
- 4:07Speaker 5: trending for not a bad reason.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I liked it for that.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's got a cute factor of 9.7. It does.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It does. It's up there.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I like the cute factor.
- 4:16Speaker 3: She's making people smile. And, you know, we love that.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That's our job. So I just thought, oh, hey.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That's on our LinkedIn profile.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Yes, we do.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yes, I like it, especially in a world where everything
- 4:27Speaker 1: is so serious and murder, death, kill, and everybody's down
- 4:32Speaker 1: in the dumps.
- 4:33Speaker 2: It's just something kind of silly and kind of stupid.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 2: To get people out, having fun.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Not to mention you get to meet other people in
- 4:40Speaker 1: the community, make some new friends, and then you get
- 4:42Speaker 1: to watch this goofy lady roller skate.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I like this. And you had the haters.
- 4:47Speaker 3: There were a few people.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh, you always will.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I know. And they're like, you know.
- 4:50Speaker 2: We get those on our text line all the time.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Absolutely. I mean, that's just life, right?
- 4:54Speaker 5: So there are people saying that she was like fake
- 4:56Speaker 5: falling and making it a bigger deal than it was.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But then there are other people. Did you see a video?
- 5:00Speaker 5: No, I didn't see videos yet, but I'm just reading
- 5:02Speaker 5: the comments and people are defending her to the max.
- 5:05Speaker 3: They're like, no. This was not staged.
- 5:07Speaker 5: You could tell she was just having a really good time,
- 5:09Speaker 5: and she wanted people to.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Be a part of it.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Roller skates, roller blades.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Roller skates.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Skates, okay.
- 5:14Speaker 5: The first time in her whole life.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I hope she had a helmet on.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Says Mary on next door.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I hope Heather was safe.
- 5:21Speaker 5: But I just, again, what a way to bring joy
- 5:25Speaker 5: to the masses in an effortless way and really just
- 5:28Speaker 5: poke it a little fun at yourself.
- 5:30Speaker 3: But, you know, you had a good time.
- 5:32Speaker 6: I love it.
- 5:32Speaker 1: It reminds me of a few months ago, there was
- 5:35Speaker 1: a guy that had the big bin of cheese balls
- 5:39Speaker 1: that he picked up from Costco or Sam's Club.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And he posted on like a Reddit thread or something, hey,
- 5:45Speaker 1: come to the park and watch me eat this entire
- 5:47Speaker 1: jug of cheese balls. And people showed up to watch
- 5:50Speaker 1: the guy eat the jug of cheese balls.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Shoot.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And he accomplished it.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I'd show up to ask him on a date.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You're like, hey, can I lick your fingers?
- 5:58Speaker 3: Exactly my idea. The perfect date, my dude.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'd like to lick your fingers, please.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Let's be friends at least.
- 6:04Speaker 2: My name's Katie. You might know me from the radio.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm hard up for love. Um, I like it.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It's cute.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I can see this expanding into other things where people
- 6:13Speaker 1: will be like, you know, come out and watch me
- 6:15Speaker 1: learn how to fly a kite or learn how to
- 6:18Speaker 1: ride a bike.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Um, Watch me learn how to swim.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Well, I think that that's where it might..
- 6:22Speaker 2: That one might be a little derailed.
- 6:24Speaker 3: It might get a little played out, right?
- 6:26Speaker 2: It might get played out.
- 6:27Speaker 5: The fact that she did it first and she created
- 6:29Speaker 5: such a fun atmosphere, I'm.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Just all about it. Yeah, where does it end, right?
- 6:33Speaker 3: I can see a lot of people copying Heather here.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Don't go in the deep end!
- 6:37Speaker 1: Watch me walk across Legos with no socks or shoes on.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You want a date?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Jeez, off the air we go. Katie's like, ooh, ooh, ooh,
- 6:48Speaker 2: speaking of dating, speaking of dating, she.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Got all fired up after we talked about sucking on
- 6:52Speaker 1: that guy's fingers.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You aren't dating right now, are you?
- 6:56Speaker 3: No, I mean..
- 6:57Speaker 4: Not really.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I mean, you're looking, but you're not with.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Well, the thing is, after Chicago guy, I really stopped
- 7:04Speaker 5: hyper-focusing on somebody because I didn't realize how everything I do.
- 7:08Speaker 2: It's all-consuming, right?
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah. Was to kind of get his attention or impress him.
- 7:11Speaker 2: My wife's like that a lot with me.
- 7:13Speaker 3: With you?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Well, when you're in a relationship, it's different. She obviously
- 7:16Speaker 3: wants to do things that make your life better.
- 7:18Speaker 2: She's all over me constantly.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Well, can you blame her, Jer?
- 7:21Speaker 5: I'm good. I'm good.
- 7:22Speaker 2: She hates me.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Hey, really quick, before we get into your story, that
- 7:24Speaker 1: reminds me, I want to read you just a quick
- 7:26Speaker 1: text that came in from her.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 3: What'd she say?
- 7:30Speaker 1: What's Nicknack got to say today? She messaged me just
- 7:33Speaker 1: a little bit ago before 8. She goes, hey, what's
- 7:36Speaker 1: the green goo I just stepped in in the basement?
- 7:40Speaker 2: It's super sticky. I just go, where? She's like, I
- 7:44Speaker 2: don't know. It was in a plastic holder, she said.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I go, I have no idea. I go, don't get
- 7:48Speaker 2: it on the carpet. And she wrote back, no S word.
- 7:51Speaker 1: She says, I'm hopping on one foot right now.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm dying to know what the green goo was in
- 7:58Speaker 2: my basement. Yeah, what was it?
- 7:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Nobody knows right now.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You better figure that out. That is apropos of nothing, right?
- 8:06Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So speaking of dating, what's this dating thing you got?
- 8:10Speaker 5: Okay, so it's a term that's floating around on the socials,
- 8:14Speaker 5: and it's called de-centering men. OK, and really, it's just
- 8:18Speaker 5: a fancy term for doing what I just said, not
- 8:22Speaker 5: being completely obsessed with a man or trying to find
- 8:26Speaker 5: a man or being on the apps and looking for
- 8:28Speaker 5: one and looking pretty for one.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Like, it's all consuming.
- 8:32Speaker 2: It really is. So it's like it's self-focused self-worth.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Intentionally, though.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Looking at your goals, it's just focusing on you versus
- 8:42Speaker 1: a dude.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 8:43Speaker 5: And so it's really just like taking all of that
- 8:46Speaker 5: energy that you're putting towards yourself.
- 8:49Speaker 3: You know, making yourself look good.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And here's the thing too.
- 8:52Speaker 5: It's like when you're single and when you're out and about,
- 8:55Speaker 5: like say you're at a bar and you're hanging out
- 8:57Speaker 5: with your friends. Well, if you're in the active state
- 8:59Speaker 5: or looking for a partner, a person, your side glance
- 9:03Speaker 5: is always looking. You're always looking to find something. Your
- 9:07Speaker 5: mind's always scattered and wandered and you could never be
- 9:09Speaker 5: 100% fully present. And so when you take that out
- 9:13Speaker 5: of the equation.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 5: You have so much more energy for your friends, for yourself,
- 9:17Speaker 5: for your current situations, your job.
- 9:20Speaker 2: That's when you usually find someone, right?
- 9:22Speaker 1: It is.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Is when you're not looking. We've heard it a bazillion times.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I mean, that seems to be what everybody says.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You're like, whatever, I'm done. I'm focusing on me, my career,
- 9:29Speaker 1: my health, whatever. And then, boom, you bump into a
- 9:32Speaker 1: dude at the deli and you're.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Like, oh.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Oh.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Look at you with your fried chicken. You know I
- 9:36Speaker 3: like fried chicken.
- 9:37Speaker 2: No, you're focusing on your health.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I know.
- 9:38Speaker 5: I'm focusing on me, not your fried chicken.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Although that is focusing on your happiness.
- 9:43Speaker 3: It is. You know how much I love fried chicken. Okay.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I like it.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Because, again, we've all been there.
- 9:49Speaker 2: It sounds a little harsh to the guys. Well, I
- 9:51Speaker 2: think it can be flipped. I'm sorry.
- 9:52Speaker 3: It can be flipped.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm de-centering men right now.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Or de-centering women.
- 9:57Speaker 5: If you're in the you know camp if you're looking
- 9:59Speaker 5: for a girlfriend but it's taking all of your energy
- 10:02Speaker 5: and your stuff well de-center women and that might help you.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Out a little bit anything in the de-centering like any
- 10:09Speaker 1: sort of uh you're de-centering cigarettes You're de-centering alcohol.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah, because those things.
- 10:16Speaker 2: If you have— That's a cutesy little term to use
- 10:17Speaker 2: all the time.
- 10:18Speaker 5: It is, and if you think about that, if you
- 10:20Speaker 5: have a problem with smoking cigarettes, say you're trying to
- 10:23Speaker 5: quit and you're just smoking a pack and a half
- 10:25Speaker 5: a day, you know what I mean?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Don't I know it.
- 10:27Speaker 3: It really does consume you.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Your life is centered around this want for this thing,
- 10:34Speaker 5: and if you could take that out of the equation—
- 10:37Speaker 5: The peace.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I'm de-centering my coworkers.
- 10:39Speaker 3: The freedom. The peace. The freedom.
- 10:42Speaker 2: The peace and the freedom. I'm de-centering tailgating.
- 10:46Speaker 3: It's definitely.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I'm talking to you BMW drivers.
- 10:48Speaker 3: It's definitely worth looking into. And I love.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I like it.
- 10:52Speaker 4: It's cute.
- 10:52Speaker 5: The story in itself. Like it's got a little, you know, thumbnail, right?
- 10:56Speaker 5: When you see the story on like a Yahoo website
- 10:59Speaker 5: and it says, I decentered men and it worked for me.
- 11:02Speaker 5: And it was a before and after picture. And the
- 11:04Speaker 5: before was her. And then after, I mean, she's wearing
- 11:08Speaker 5: a bikini.
- 11:09Speaker 2: She's like, I love life.
- 11:12Speaker 3: So I guess it works.
- 11:13Speaker 4: All right.
- 11:14Speaker 2: This came in from a guy who I'm changing his
- 11:17Speaker 2: name to Sniff. Here's why.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Sniff wrote in and said, I need some help settling
- 11:23Speaker 1: an argument between me and my parents. I graduated from
- 11:26Speaker 1: high school a couple years ago and decided not to
- 11:28Speaker 1: go to college because I had no idea what I
- 11:30Speaker 1: wanted to do. Two years later, I still don't know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: and now my parents are really putting the pressure on.
- 11:35Speaker 1: They keep saying, it's time to make a move. If
- 11:37Speaker 1: you don't go now, you're never going to go.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I get it.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I understand their concern, but I keep hearing horror stories
- 11:44Speaker 1: about people taking on massive college debt and then struggling
- 11:47Speaker 1: to find a good job.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I don't want to spend thousands on a degree. and
- 11:51Speaker 2: I don't even know what career I want. Here's where
- 11:54Speaker 2: they're really mad.
- 11:56Speaker 1: When I graduated, I received a pretty good amount of
- 11:59Speaker 1: money from my grandparents and relatives, family, friends. I saved
- 12:03Speaker 1: most of it, and I even added some money of
- 12:05Speaker 1: my own from working. I want to use that money
- 12:09Speaker 1: now to get a nose job. Oh! I've hated my
- 12:13Speaker 1: nose my entire life. It's been my biggest insecurity. I'm
- 12:17Speaker 1: tired of people telling me, you're.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Beautiful just the way you are. Oh, the just the
- 12:22Speaker 3: way you are. You're beautiful.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Just the way you are, Sniff.
- 12:25Speaker 1: My parents think it's completely irresponsible. They say everyone who
- 12:30Speaker 1: gave me graduation money assumed it would go towards college
- 12:34Speaker 1: or something to help me in my future. My argument
- 12:36Speaker 1: is that nobody told me that money could only be
- 12:38Speaker 1: used for college.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It was a gift. I've saved it for a couple years.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I'm an adult. This is something I want. So who's right?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Is spending graduation money on a nose job completely irresponsible?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Should I listen to my parents and finally go to college,
- 12:53Speaker 1: even though I have no idea what I want to study?
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'd especially love to hear from people who have waited
- 12:58Speaker 1: a few years to go to college or people who've
- 12:59Speaker 1: had plastic surgery.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Because of a lifelong insecurity. Okay, that's fine too. How
- 13:03Speaker 2: did it work out for you guys?
- 13:05Speaker 1: At the very end of this, he does say, please
- 13:07Speaker 1: change my name because if my parents hear this and
- 13:09Speaker 1: figure out it's me, I'm dead.
- 13:12Speaker 2: So one, I did change his name to Sniff. And two, dude, Sniff.
- 13:18Speaker 2: This is a pretty unique situation. If your parents hear it,
- 13:21Speaker 2: they probably know it's going to be you, buddy.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Exactly. I don't know too many other people.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I don't know a lot of people who are wanting
- 13:26Speaker 1: to use their college money on a nose job.
- 13:28Speaker 2: But anyway, there's that sniff.
- 13:31Speaker 1: If you want to call in and sound off, what
- 13:34Speaker 1: should he do with the money? Use it for school.
- 13:38Speaker 1: That's what it was there for. That's what the gifts
- 13:40Speaker 1: were for, allegedly, right? 303-691-1MIX.
- 13:49Speaker 2: 303-691-1649.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Would love to give your thoughts, your opinions. This is
- 13:52Speaker 1: Show Wants to Know, so we open up the phone
- 13:54Speaker 1: lines for you guys. Should Sniff use the money to
- 13:58Speaker 1: get that schnoz.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Rebuilt, or should he use it to go to school?
- 14:01Speaker 1: 303-691-1649.
- 14:01Speaker 2: On the surface, I guess... I'm kind of in Camp
- 14:14Speaker 2: No's job, I think. I think.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Why not do that and go to, like, a trade school,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you know?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I see the text coming in about trade school.
- 14:22Speaker 2: A little bit cheaper.
- 14:22Speaker 1: But, again, he doesn't know what he wants to do.
- 14:25Speaker 1: That might not be in a heap. He's like, I
- 14:26Speaker 1: don't want to go into HVAC.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Well, and that's the thing.
- 14:28Speaker 5: If you don't know what you want to do spending
- 14:31Speaker 5: money to decide, like— Figure out what you want to
- 14:34Speaker 5: do first and then maybe put the money towards it.
- 14:37Speaker 5: But don't just go to school because you're being pressured
- 14:40Speaker 5: to do so.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So I think there's a lot.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Of moving pieces.
- 14:42Speaker 2: That young, though, you could regret spending that much money
- 14:45Speaker 2: on a nose job.
- 14:47Speaker 3: No, because you've.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Got that nose the rest of your life. You might
- 14:49Speaker 1: spend thousands on that degree and never use it.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Well, but the nose, you might not like it. Right?
- 14:54Speaker 3: You spend thousands on your nose.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And it's a crappy nose. One nostril is bigger than
- 14:59Speaker 1: the other. Well, go to somebody reputable. I think the
- 15:02Speaker 1: text of the day goes to Zach. He wrote in
- 15:05Speaker 1: and said, forget the job. I'm just wondering, how bad.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Is this guy's nose?
- 15:10Speaker 3: Oh, Zach.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Oh, Zach, you funny. All right, 303691 says, 1649. Here
- 15:17Speaker 2: is Phil. Phil made it in. Good morning, sir.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Good morning. How's it going?
- 15:21Speaker 2: Well, we're super dupes. What do you think about this
- 15:25Speaker 2: guy's dilemma?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Are you in team school or team schnoz?
- 15:29Speaker 6: Okay, I have the same question as Zach. Like, how
- 15:32Speaker 6: bad is his nose? Is this like Wicked Witch of
- 15:34Speaker 6: the East kind of nose or like a Groot nose?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Well, let's assume that it might be kind of bad.
- 15:41Speaker 1: He's been insecure about it his whole life.
- 15:44Speaker 6: Okay, so I probably would have been bullied, right, about
- 15:48Speaker 6: it my whole life. I've seen some crazy transformations of noses,
- 15:52Speaker 6: so I am on team nose.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:55Speaker 4: You know, to each their own.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of am too because I feel like, Phil,
- 16:00Speaker 1: we've all kind of got something, right? Something that we're
- 16:03Speaker 1: insecure about that would be nice to fix if we.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Had the money.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Yeah, but if this guy's, like, you know, extreme, like, or, like,
- 16:11Speaker 4: you know those caricatures that people draw of people?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Yeah. If that's the first thing that the artist draws
- 16:17Speaker 6: is this guy's nose, and it's been his whole life, like,
- 16:20Speaker 6: I'm okay with that.
- 16:21Speaker 2: When the guy draws the picture, he just does an
- 16:23Speaker 2: elephant's trunk? Yeah, I know.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Jeremy.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Phil, I got you in camp schnoz. I appreciate you
- 16:30Speaker 1: sounding off this morning, my friend.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Here is Jen. Hi, Jen.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Hi, how are you guys today?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Well, we're super dupes. We're breathing easy in here. What
- 16:41Speaker 1: are your thoughts on this guy's situation?
- 16:44Speaker 4: Okay, so I have a different take on this. We
- 16:47Speaker 4: all have things that we don't like about ourselves, and
- 16:50Speaker 4: I don't know if it was written in stone that
- 16:53Speaker 4: that's what he had to use the money for. I
- 16:55Speaker 4: know that that kind of is that under... the under
- 16:59Speaker 4: stated rule that that's kind of what people think he's
- 17:02Speaker 4: going to use it for, but he's a grown man.
- 17:04Speaker 4: So my take on this is take the money and
- 17:07Speaker 4: go get yourself a new, get yourself a home, get
- 17:10Speaker 4: yourself an apartment, move out of your parents' home. So
- 17:13Speaker 4: there seems to be a little control with that and
- 17:15Speaker 4: then bossing him around and what he wants to do.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I know that they want the best for him, but
- 17:20Speaker 4: sometimes school isn't for everyone. And there's successful people out
- 17:24Speaker 4: there that don't go to school and So get yourself
- 17:28Speaker 4: a condo, get yourself a home, and then whatever's left over.
- 17:31Speaker 4: And obviously he can save money because he said in
- 17:34Speaker 4: the letter that he put money with whatever was given
- 17:38Speaker 4: to him. Save whatever you need for the nose job
- 17:41Speaker 4: after that. But get out from underneath your parents and
- 17:44Speaker 4: live your life.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Well, you got his whole life mapped out for you.
- 17:47Speaker 3: That's really good advice.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Just like if you didn't find yourself a nice girl
- 17:49Speaker 1: and propose at a park and have your wedding in Nashville.
- 17:56Speaker 3: That was good, though, Jen. You had a lot of
- 17:58Speaker 3: really good points.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And then you need 2.3 children and a swing set
- 18:05Speaker 1: in the backyard. Okay, so am I putting you in
- 18:08Speaker 1: Camp Schnaz, then, not Camp School?
- 18:12Speaker 4: I would say, you know what?
- 18:14Speaker 3: In the long run.
- 18:16Speaker 4: You know what? Do it. If it makes you feel...
- 18:18Speaker 4: We all have something that we just don't like about ourselves,
- 18:20Speaker 4: and it'll never be... you'll never feel good about yourself
- 18:24Speaker 4: if you don't do it, you know? So some people.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Jen, really quick. I got to get to one more person,
- 18:29Speaker 2: but what would you, if you had the money, what
- 18:30Speaker 2: would you change about yourself?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh gosh.
- 18:34Speaker 4: If I can make myself taller, that would be great.
- 18:36Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:37Speaker 4: It's not going to happen.
- 18:38Speaker 2: We'll get you some leg implants.
- 18:39Speaker 3: There we go.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Jen, thank you so much for sounding off today. We
- 18:43Speaker 2: can't thank you enough. Here's a Justine. Hi Justine.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Hi, good morning.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Well, hello. All right, what do you think about Mr.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Sniff?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Are you in camp school or schnoz?
- 18:54Speaker 6: I'm actually for camp schnoz. I have two kids, one
- 18:58Speaker 6: when she graduated, got her boobs done, one bought a
- 19:02Speaker 6: car with her money. It was a gift to them.
- 19:07Speaker 6: I told her when she got her breasts done that
- 19:11Speaker 6: it was totally acceptable to spend that money. If she
- 19:14Speaker 6: wants that confidence, if that's going to improve her confidence
- 19:17Speaker 6: in life, that'll be something that she carries with her
- 19:20Speaker 6: for life. So self-confidence is just as important at school.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Literally carries along with her every day.
- 19:26Speaker 3: You're right. Like to feel good.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Cause you may had a good point in the last
- 19:30Speaker 5: call where their whole life, they deal with this kind
- 19:33Speaker 5: of stigmatism. So it's like, clearly it's been a thing
- 19:36Speaker 5: for them for a minute. So it's, You know, if
- 19:38Speaker 5: it gives you that confidence moving forward into the next stage,
- 19:41Speaker 5: I'm all for it.
- 19:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 19:43Speaker 6: Well, and if somebody wanted braces, nobody would think twice
- 19:46Speaker 6: about braces. Exactly. It's the same thing, straining your teeth.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an appearance thing.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I would think twice because I like gummy bears and gum, but..
- 19:56Speaker 3: That's different here.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Justine, we got you in Camp Schnauz. It was unanimous.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Everybody's voting Camp Schnauz for this guy.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Everyone is, yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Mr.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Sniff, if you're listening this morning... They're saying don't worry
- 20:09Speaker 1: about the cash, dude. Your parents will be fine. You're
- 20:13Speaker 1: an adult now. It's your money.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Maybe you don't need to go to college. Go get
- 20:17Speaker 2: that freakishly large nose done.
- 20:20Speaker 1: If anyone else has a dilemma they want to sound
- 20:22Speaker 1: off about, you can always send us a message to Jeremy, Katie,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Josh on Facebook and Instagram.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Really, really quick. I've only got like 30 seconds. Katie,
- 20:32Speaker 2: you had the money. What would you change about yourself?
- 20:35Speaker 5: Oh.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I don't know. I wasn't ready for this.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Josh?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Height.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I want to be shorter. I'm too tall.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Katie? I don't know. Maybe I'd get the old girls done, too.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Okay. That'd be smart.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Shut up, Jeremy. Hey, I would.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Do a certain reduction surgery, actually, because it's just too much.
- 20:54Speaker 3: That big old head on top of your shoulders? Is
- 20:56Speaker 3: that one?
- 20:57Speaker 5: Close.
