- 0:28Speaker 1: Just go to Unleash prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Well, Mark, I'm doing great. Twenty twenty six is off
- 0:39Speaker 2: to a rip roar and start. We've seen amazing gains
- 0:43Speaker 2: in the stock market. We've seen, you know, an incredible
- 0:46Speaker 2: military operation that will go down in the annals of history.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Is one of the most flawless operations ever. We liberated
- 0:53Speaker 2: thirty million people in Venezuela, a very humanitarian mission and
- 1:00Speaker 2: I think in places coming down, jobs are going up.
- 1:03Speaker 2: GDP's going up. It's going to be a blockbuster year.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Venezuela is fascinating. There's no better example
- 1:09Speaker 1: of the uselessness of socialism. He decides to go socialist.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Everybody's starving to death. It's horrible. They're sitting on three
- 1:18Speaker 1: hundred billion barrels of oil there seventeen Yeah, why was
- 1:22Speaker 1: he in these drug things? Why didn't he just become
- 1:24Speaker 1: an oil baron?
- 1:26Speaker 2: You know, we had something in how you mentioned our
- 1:28Speaker 2: hotline thank you and by the way, that's free. Folks
- 1:30Speaker 2: just go to onun least past thirty to kind of
- 1:32Speaker 2: get that for free. But on Monday we had an
- 1:34Speaker 2: item that got a lot of attention which we just
- 1:37Speaker 2: we just walked people through with charts. What had happened
- 1:40Speaker 2: to Venezuela since they went communists back in around two
- 1:44Speaker 2: thousand and This was a country, it was fairly middle
- 1:47Speaker 2: class country. They had, as you said, they have trillion
- 1:49Speaker 2: dollars of oil resources. First of all, they've cut their
- 1:54Speaker 2: oil production by two thirds, the one thing that they
- 1:56Speaker 2: were getting money from they couldn't even run the oil wells.
- 1:59Speaker 2: And so you had you had the poverty rate in
- 2:02Speaker 2: u in Venezuela is seventy five to eighty percent. What
- 2:08Speaker 2: seventy five to eighty percent of people in Venezuela living
- 2:12Speaker 2: in public. This is a country, by the way, that
- 2:13Speaker 2: has as much oil as Saudi Arabia. I don't see
- 2:15Speaker 2: a lot of stop poverty in Saudi Arabia, do you.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Everybody's rich in Saudi Arabia. And so there the eight
- 2:23Speaker 2: million people have left. They lost a quarter of their citizens.
- 2:28Speaker 2: You've seen inflation, you know, it's so funny, Mark, you
- 2:32Speaker 2: know we in I don't know, funny story word, but
- 2:35Speaker 2: you know in the US, will you have three or
- 2:37Speaker 2: four percent in place? Oh? My god, plays out of control.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You know what inflation? Ate wasn't Venezuela five hundred percent?
- 2:43Speaker 2: What five hundred percent inflation? So people stopped using the currency.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You know, the only thing they could trade in was dollars.
- 2:50Speaker 2: So they destroyed their currency. They put everybody in poverty.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Their their homicide ran rate went up by about one
- 2:57Speaker 2: thousand percent. It's one of the most unsafe. It was,
- 3:00Speaker 2: at least until our troops came in, one of the
- 3:02Speaker 2: most unsafe. Caracas was one of the most unsafe cities
- 3:05Speaker 2: in the world. On and on and on they destroyed it.
- 3:07Speaker 2: And now, you know, let's keep our fingers crossed and
- 3:10Speaker 2: pray that they can get those oils bigots going again
- 3:14Speaker 2: and they should be a rich country and if they
- 3:16Speaker 2: do it right, they will, but it requires what Milton
- 3:18Speaker 2: Friedman told us is, you know, free markets are the
- 3:21Speaker 2: way to go. And Vince Nellie Poland, you may have
- 3:24Speaker 2: seen Poland. We had some story on this Poland when exactly,
- 3:28Speaker 2: you know, when they became free and the Berlin Wall
- 3:31Speaker 2: came down. They've had one of the fastest growing economies
- 3:34Speaker 2: over the last thirty years.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I think you pointed out they Polish economy is
- 3:38Speaker 1: now as big as Japan's economy.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Incredible. I mean, it's just unbelievable what's happened there because
- 3:44Speaker 2: of their free So this is not complicated. You know,
- 3:47Speaker 2: a boy, New York could use some free market capitalism.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yeah, good luck.
- 3:53Speaker 2: But I mean the latest I'm reading, Mark is that
- 3:56Speaker 2: they're talking about like putting so many restrictions on rental
- 3:59Speaker 2: properties in New York City. Nobody's going to build another
- 4:04Speaker 2: apartment building for twenty years there.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Now he points this housing director. She took down
- 4:09Speaker 1: her whole Twitter ataunt crazy, she took it down.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 4:12Speaker 1: She had tweeted home ownership as white supremacy.
- 4:16Speaker 2: So yeah, well, you know what you're not gonna have
- 4:19Speaker 2: any homeownership in New York because there's not going to
- 4:22Speaker 2: be any homes to buy. I mean, who would buy
- 4:25Speaker 2: under these kind of conditions? Who would build a new
- 4:27Speaker 2: apartment building in New York? Now? You know?
- 4:31Speaker 1: But you watch this Mondonnie talk. He seems like a
- 4:33Speaker 1: very smart young guy. Very smart. Why is he so?
- 4:36Speaker 1: Why did they get so crazy with this socialism? Why
- 4:39Speaker 1: did they become irrational over it?
- 4:42Speaker 2: You know, it's a real indictment of our education system
- 4:45Speaker 2: because Mndonnie is well educated, he's well spoken, he's not
- 4:49Speaker 2: a dummy. He just has really really crazy ideas. And
- 4:52Speaker 2: you ask the question where did they come from? I
- 4:54Speaker 2: think they came from the you know, the faculty lounges
- 4:57Speaker 2: at these crazy universities. I do.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think he can use the phrase well
- 5:02Speaker 1: educated anymore, because if you go to these places you're
- 5:04Speaker 1: not well educated. You come out Yeah exactly.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he has let me say, he's got a
- 5:10Speaker 2: lot of years of education, but I don't think he
- 5:13Speaker 2: has any you know, common sense. And I think we
- 5:15Speaker 2: have to do a real soul search as a country
- 5:18Speaker 2: about what are what are universities and schools teaching kids
- 5:21Speaker 2: because by the way that you know, the people who
- 5:24Speaker 2: were most enamored by Mandami were the young people in
- 5:27Speaker 2: New York.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow, But you point out in the hotline this week,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you look at cities like Dallas or Miami, they're just booming.
- 5:37Speaker 1: They're attracting business like that. Crazy. Why can't everybody see that?
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean in the Dallas mayor. By the way,
- 5:43Speaker 2: they've a new mayor. He's African American. He's an African
- 5:46Speaker 2: American Republican, and he's basically saying, hey, you know Wall Street,
- 5:52Speaker 2: you know, if you're fed up with the high taxes
- 5:54Speaker 2: and high regulations, we're open for business here. We now
- 5:57Speaker 2: have a Texas Stock Exchange. Why not, You're Dallas is
- 6:01Speaker 2: out of one hundred thousand financial service jobs in just
- 6:05Speaker 2: the last ten years. So they are building Wall Street
- 6:08Speaker 2: South and New York better, you know, stop taxing the
- 6:13Speaker 2: people who create the wealth in that city or they're
- 6:15Speaker 2: going to be gone.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah hey all that are you going.
- 6:20Speaker 2: To take the big bull you know in front of
- 6:21Speaker 2: Wall Street and Ukraine and did and you know, transport
- 6:24Speaker 2: that to Dallas. I mean, look, I say this facetiously,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but as you know, I worked for ten years at
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Wall Street Journal. I love New York City. New
- 6:31Speaker 2: York City is the most important city in the world, arguably,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and we cannot allow it to to go.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, the other thing goes on with these socialists.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Money disappears like crazy Somalia fraud. And what about this
- 6:45Speaker 1: green green scheme, this climate green scheme that took billions
- 6:49Speaker 1: and zillions, And will we ever get it back? Can
- 6:51Speaker 1: we ever plot back?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Are you talking about the thing in Washington State?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah? All of it?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, which went? I mean the whole thing. I mean,
- 7:02Speaker 2: we've spent hundreds of billions of dollars on climate change
- 7:06Speaker 2: and none of it has changed the temperature by one
- 7:10Speaker 2: hundredth of a degree, so it has had no impact whatsoever.
- 7:14Speaker 2: But people are getting really, really rich off of this,
- 7:17Speaker 2: and so fortunately Trump is really starting to defund a
- 7:21Speaker 2: lot of the cheap programs because they don't work. And
- 7:25Speaker 2: finally the American people are onto this scam. So the
- 7:28Speaker 2: best way to by the way, the more you know,
- 7:30Speaker 2: we can produce natural gas, which is Venezuela has a
- 7:34Speaker 2: lot of that, Oklahoma has a lot of Texas natural
- 7:37Speaker 2: gas is the best way to reduce carbon emissions. So right,
- 7:41Speaker 2: is the left against natural gas production?
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Also, you know, look at the New York City.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You know, the charge of an extra couple bucks for
- 7:49Speaker 1: congestion pricing. We're sitting on a ton of natural gas,
- 7:52Speaker 1: aren't we here in New York State? That would pay
- 7:53Speaker 1: for everything.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you know, New York should be one of
- 7:57Speaker 2: the major oil and gas produce in the world. You're
- 8:01Speaker 2: right there on the shale formation. And you know, I've
- 8:04Speaker 2: said this many times. In Pennsylvania, they you know, go
- 8:07Speaker 2: down and they go horizontally underneath New York and suck
- 8:10Speaker 2: out your oil. So they you don't that's that's pretty
- 8:13Speaker 2: stupid for New York to outlaw. You know, that'd be
- 8:16Speaker 2: like Texas saying, oh, we're not going to drive for
- 8:18Speaker 2: oil anymore. See, that would be a smart policy.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It's like Maduro, let's not bother with that oil underneath us.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So yeah, we'll speak more great stuff now, the Committee
- 8:29Speaker 1: to Unleashed Prosperity, which you put together. It's a great
- 8:32Speaker 1: organization and every morning the best briefing analysis. I don't

- 8:45Speaker 2: you mentioned I thought you were talking about item today
- 8:48Speaker 2: that they had a program in Washington State that was
- 8:51Speaker 2: supposed to reduce by eight million tons of carbon emissions
- 8:58Speaker 2: and it turned out to only eighty thousand, so they
- 9:01Speaker 2: were off by.

- 9:25Speaker 2: the tax on you know, you're after inflation gain. And
- 9:27Speaker 2: we think that will spurl out of new housing coming
- 9:30Speaker 2: on the market, and so keep stay tuned for that.
