- 0:20Speaker 1: Are you ready to embark on a magical adventure to
- 0:25the snow village. This is a very special village for
- 0:30very special people, just like you.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So let's begin.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Close your eyes and take a big, deep breath in
- 0:42through your nose, feel your tummy expanding, and then gently
- 0:49breathe out through your mouth again, deep breath in through
- 0:56your nose, feeling your tummy expanding just like a balloon,
- 1:02and breathe out one last time, big deep breath in
- 1:13and gently breathe out through your mouth. That's great. Now,
- 1:23imagine a bubble of blowing white light, as white as snow,
- 1:28surrounding your whole body. And this light is so bright,
- 1:34it's just like a mini sun, but it doesn't hurt
- 1:37to look at it, and it's so gentle and so soothing.
- 1:42And this light is like a force field of protection.
- 1:46It will only allow love and positivity to enter whilst
- 1:51you're on your snowy adventures. So imagine yourself walking through
- 1:58a winter scene in the mountains. The snow is falling
- 2:02gently upon your face, and you've wrapped up all snug
- 2:06and warm. Oh, and you feel so safe here, so
- 2:10peaceful and so very relaxed. But even though it's cold,
- 2:17there is a warmth in the air. You've reached the
- 2:22top of a hill and notice a wooden sign and
- 2:26it reads Welcome to the Snow Village, the magical place
- 2:31where the snow never stops. Oh, that sounds so exciting.
- 2:37You've never heard of this place before. You take a
- 2:40look down the hill and at the bottom you see
- 2:44a tapestry of colors in the distance, bizarre looking buildings.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Really, you can hear.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Sounds of laughter and songs of joy. Hmm, you need
- 2:55to take a closer look at this place, you think.
- 3:02You get closer to the village and there seems to
- 3:05be a carnival atmosphere. It's wonderful. There's a small path
- 3:11that leads to the entrance, where someone appears to be
- 3:14awaiting your arrival. You get closer still and realize it's
- 3:20a snow man. Well, it's a snow girl, actually, a
- 3:26real live snow girl.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:31Speaker 1: She's wearing a pink bobble hat with a matching scarf,
- 3:35and her smile could light up an igloom. She runs
- 3:39up to you and wraps her snowy arms around your
- 3:41body and squeezes you so tightly. Oh, what a lovely welcome.
- 3:48She tells you her name is Gracie, and that the
- 3:51Snow Village is run by the snow people, lots of
- 3:55snow men, snow women, and snow children. She had heard
- 4:01her family talking about your rival and tells you she
- 4:04cannot wait to show you around. She's ever so friendly,
- 4:09and you are ever so excited. Grazie tells you it's
- 4:16holiday season in Snow Village and the atmosphere is electric.
- 4:23Walk past a quiet of snow people singing, let it know,
- 4:29Let it know, Let it know. You can't help but
- 4:34sing along yourself. The wonkey houses and shops are so
- 4:39colorful and quirky, and there's a forest behind the village,
- 4:43but all the trees are decorated and lit up. It's
- 4:47quite magical. It's beautiful. In fact, there are huge candy
- 4:53cane sticks dotted around all over the place, and you
- 4:57wonder what they're for. Well, Gracie informs you that the
- 5:01sticks have light in them that light up the village.
- 5:04Speaker 2: When it gets dark.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Sharebreads are boring street lights, doesn't it. It is bustling
- 5:11in the village, and it appears the chosen form of
- 5:15transport for the snow folk seems to be via a
- 5:19sleigh pulled by a pack of snow wolves. Yet, that's right,
- 5:24snow wolves. But they look such friendly, beautiful creatures, and
- 5:30they pull the snow people around the village add some
- 5:33great speed. You look around and see all kinds going on.
- 5:40You see snow men and women playing ten pin bowling,
- 5:44but using giant snowballs as the ball. How strange is
- 5:48that are You see a zip wire through the snow
- 5:52forest in the distance, and you can hear the screams
- 5:55of delight. What a fun place this is? He knows
- 6:00a snowball fly right past your shoulder and Gracie laughs.
- 6:04She tells you the snowball Championship is going ahead at
- 6:09this very moment, and it really is a big deal.
- 6:12In the snow village, in the distance, near where the
- 6:17snow folk are skiing, you observe what appears to be
- 6:21a ginormous roller coaster. Gracie tells you that this is
- 6:27the snow Coaster and it's made totally of ice. She
- 6:33says it's the most amazing ride ever, and she'll take
- 6:37you for a ride if you want to go on
- 6:39it later. Oh, yes, you do, so spend a short
- 6:45while with Gracie as she shows you around the magical
- 6:49snow village, get to know each other a little better.
- 6:54Maybe you can tell her about where you live too,
- 6:56and what it's like there. Gracie may introduce you to
- 7:00her friends and her family. Maybe you can enjoy some
- 7:04of the activities they have it and they seem to
- 7:07have a lot. Or maybe you can visit the shop
- 7:10or go on the snow coaster. It's up to you.
- 7:16Have fun.
- 8:56Speaker 2: A what's a truly amazing place. This is.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Racy, says. You both deserve a treat, so she takes
- 10:31you to a little igloo. She says, this is the
- 10:34ice cream igloo, and they produce the most delicious ice
- 10:39creams in the whole village. So what do you fancy?
- 10:45You can choose any flavor you like. Oh, yummy, that
- 11:08certainly was delicious. Before it gets dark, Gracie is eager
- 11:16for you to meet her friend, the snowbird. She tells
- 11:20you the snowbird is a very rare and mystical creature,
- 11:24but also very funny, and his name is Gerald. You
- 11:31look up at the sky above you, and there he is,
- 11:35flapping his enormous wings, and you are amazed at his
- 11:40beauty and the size of this incredible creature. He's like
- 11:45an eagle, but ten times as big. Gerald the Snowbird
- 11:53lands next to you and does a forward roll and says, helloo,
- 11:57ha doo doo doo, my little love, who have we here,
- 12:01young Gracie. Gracie chuckles and introduces you.
- 12:05Speaker 2: To Gerald splendid.
- 12:09Speaker 1: How about a ride back home before it gets dark.
- 12:11Climb on and hold tight, little cherubs. So you climb
- 12:16on Gerald's back, and before you know it, you are
- 12:20flying through the air at lightning speed. Gerald is even
- 12:24faster than the snowcoaster, and Dad's saying something. You go
- 12:29up and down and even your loop, the loop, Oh
- 12:31that one was a bit scary. Gerald is putting on
- 12:35quite a performance and you and Gracie cannot stop laughing.
- 12:39This is so much fun. You look down and you
- 12:42can see the village all lit up. The lights and
- 12:46the candy canes are all turned on now and it
- 12:48looks majestic. It is so beautiful. Then suddenly, with a
- 12:55little bump, you land on the ground and Gerald doesn't
- 12:59hang around there We go, me little beauties, see you
- 13:02next time, Cheerio.
- 13:05Speaker 2: What a character.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Gerald is, What an amazing day you have had, though
- 13:16you are feeling a little tired now, and Gracie says
- 13:21they have a special snug room for visitors and you're
- 13:25welcome to have a sleepover with her if you like.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Oh, yes, you do like.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You enter the snug room, which is a bright yellow
- 13:37wonkey house, but it's so warm and cozy and so homely.
- 13:44You really like it. Here you notice a snowman's shaped
- 13:49bed with thick fur covers, and you climb on it
- 13:52and lie in it. This feels so good.
- 13:57Speaker 2: You look out of the.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Window at the snow village. The stars sparkling in the
- 14:03sky look so wonderful, and you feel so very blessed.
- 14:11You cannot wait to come back here next year. Gracie
- 14:16tells you you're welcome to come back any time you like.
- 14:22But your eyelids feel so heavy now, and you're feeling
- 14:27so sleepy because you've had such a wonderful day. But
- 14:31you're so very relaxed and so very peaceful, so very
- 14:36calm to close your eyes and just allow yourself to
- 14:44gently slip into sleep, feeling so content, so safe, so
- 14:52very loved, and so very protected. And when you wake
- 14:57up in the morning, you'll be back and you your
- 15:00own bed, feeling very refreshed and filled with positivity and
- 15:07excited for your next trip to the snow village.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But for now, sweet dreams, nine night.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Now, imagine that you are in a beautiful, lush green meadow,
- 15:27and there are flowers growing all around the edges of
- 15:30this lovely field. Part of it have very long grass,
- 15:35and it's blowing in the gentle breeze. And here you
- 15:40are safe, You are loved, and you are protected. Always
- 15:49look around you, what else can you see? Take a
- 15:53good look around you. You hear rustling in the long grass.
- 16:00I wonder what is it? You peer up ahead of
- 16:04you and say to yourself, No, it can't be, can it.
- 16:10Bounding towards you through the long grass is Simon, the
- 16:14little black pug dog you met last time you were here,
- 16:18But he looks a little bit bigger this time though.
- 16:21He dashes up to you, and he leaps into the
- 16:23air and lands on top of you. He is so
- 16:25excited to see you again. His little tail is waggling
- 16:28like crazy. He is so happy to see you, and
- 16:32you are delighted to see him. He settled down and
- 16:37asks how you are. He tells you that it's nearly
- 16:41Christmas a public palace, and he asks you if you
- 16:45would like to come again. Well, of course you would,
- 16:49he says. All the other puppies remember you from last
- 16:52time you visited them, and they can't stop asking about
- 16:55you and.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Can't wait to see you again.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Just then you hear another voice, and this one you
- 17:02do recognize. It's Simon's mum, Violet, looking for him again.
- 17:08Oh there you are, Simon, she says. She sees you
- 17:12and gives you a great big brain and says, oh,
- 17:15hello again. Have you come to stay with us? You
- 17:20feel something in your pocket and pull it out. It's
- 17:24an invitation to spend Christmas at Puppy Palace with the
- 17:27King and Queen and all of the other puppies and
- 17:29their families. The King and Queen have already spoken to
- 17:34your parents and guardians and they have agreed that you
- 17:37can spend Christmas with them if you wish. You are
- 17:42thrilled at this because you know that a puppy Palace there,
- 17:46Christmas is a week earlier than yours, so you could
- 17:51have two Christmases if you want to. Well, of course
- 17:56you say yes. Who wouldn't want to have two Christmases.
- 18:01In the envelope there is magic puppy dust. It's very
- 18:05silky and very sparkly, and Violet tells you that all
- 18:10you have to do is throw it in the air,
- 18:12and within the blink of an eye you'll be straight
- 18:15back at Puppy Palace. So you grab a great big
- 18:19pinch of the magic puppy dust and sprinkle it all
- 18:21over you, Simon and Violet and puff. You find yourself
- 18:26back in the field with Violet and Simon, but this
- 18:30time there are fairy lights everywhere. They're in the trees,
- 18:35they're in the bushes that are all over the white
- 18:37wooden fence, and on the gate there is a huge
- 18:41sign in twinkling lights saying welcome to Puppy Palace, Winter Wonderland.
- 18:47You're back again. Violet opens the gate and you all
- 18:51trot through it. What you see on the other side
- 18:57is absolutely and made. You see the very large castle
- 19:03with the many turrets, and the whole place is still
- 19:06painted white with big black spots all over it, But
- 19:11this time the palace is covered with thousands of sparkling
- 19:15lights in many different colors, and lots and lots and
- 19:20lots of snow. You once again follow the pathway to
- 19:26the palace up to the most amazingly large doors, the
- 19:31biggest you've ever seen. They are enormous, and again they
- 19:36are still white with black spots, but there is the
- 19:44most amazing wreath hanging on each door. The big doors
- 19:50open up for you as if by magic, and when
- 19:53you step through the other side, you see what looks
- 19:57like a gigantic house of fun. You see a majestic
- 20:01scene of bright colors everywhere. There are lots of dazzling,
- 20:07colorful lights all over the place. Every door that you
- 20:11see has wreaths on them, and each one is different,
- 20:14but they are very shiny and very sparkling. The snow
- 20:20is all around you, and it's still snowing even now.
- 20:24You see dogs made of snow with big, brightly colored
- 20:28scarves on them. They even have pieces of coal for
- 20:31their noses. Some of them even have hats on, and
- 20:36some of them look as if they are smoking the pipe.
- 20:39They're look ever so funny. There are fireflies in jars
- 20:45hanging in all of the trees. Oh, it looks so wonderful.
- 20:50There are candy canes dangling in the trees with lots
- 20:52of doggy trees too. There are bright red Christmas stockings
- 20:57hanging all over the place. You see many brightly lit
- 21:02reindeer standing in the snow, and they too, shine so
- 21:05brightly with all of the twinkling lights all over them.
- 21:10The Christmas trees are amazing. There are many of them,
- 21:15but there is one that is the biggest of them all.
- 21:20It has a beautiful star shaped lights hanging all over it.
- 21:24There are glass bulbul decorations all shaped.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Like little dogs.
- 21:28Speaker 1: In fact, there is a barble for every kind of
- 21:31dog that there is. It's filled with treats for everyone,
- 21:37and it looks so beautiful with the snow gently falling
- 21:40down on it. Suddenly there is a rush of commotion
- 21:46and many puppies come rushing towards you. The pups recognize you.
- 21:50They jump all over you, giving you hundreds of puppy kisses,
- 21:54and each one of them is wearing their winter outfits
- 21:57and they look ever sup Porsche is to keep them
- 21:59nice on and snuggling, and it's like a riot of
- 22:02color everywhere. Simon introduces you to his best friend who
- 22:10is called Noel. Noel is a huge saint Bernard. He
- 22:16is giannormous and you think it looks kind of funny really,
- 22:21As Simon is a tiny pug dog and his best
- 22:23friend Noel is a giant Saint Bernard, he makes Simon
- 22:28look very small. Indeed, Simon and Noel are wearing matching
- 22:34jumpers with a big doggy Santa Pause on them. They've
- 22:38got little lights on them too, and they sparkle. Santa
- 22:42Paus' is a doggy version of your Santa. Simon tells
- 22:50you that it is winter Wonderland at the palace now,
- 22:53with lots of new things to explore since your last visit.
- 22:57It's Christmas here and they have got on all out
- 23:01to make it fantastic, and you think it really does
- 23:05look fantastic. Simon begins to tell you what new things
- 23:10they have. The Olympic sized swimming pool has been converted
- 23:14into a huge ice rink and they've been playing ice
- 23:19hockey on it. Also, when they were not playing ice hockey,
- 23:23they've been skating, you know, ice skating like tau Valentin,
- 23:28but not quite as good as them, but nearly. He
- 23:32tells you they have a bob sligh that goes all
- 23:36the way around the palace. They have a giant ski
- 23:39slope with dogs on skis, which is very funny to
- 23:42watch as they have two paws on each ski and
- 23:45they wobble a lot and they fall off a lot too.
- 23:49Simon says that you can even join in with the
- 23:52annual Hide and Sneak Championship if you like, and it
- 23:57is just like hide and Seek, but in the snow out.
- 24:00How cool is that sneaking around? Wow, there are so
- 24:09many different things for you all to do, So for
- 24:12a few moments, join in with all the puppies and
- 24:15have some fun. Maybe you can do the bob sleigh
- 24:19or the ice hockey, maybe you can do all of them.
- 24:24So go and have some fun with Simon and his
- 24:27best friend Noel m in Boa.
- 26:04Speaker 3: A a a uh a book book.
- 26:46Speaker 2: It.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Wow, that was such fun. But now it's time to
- 27:25return to the castle for the big Christmas feast. You
- 27:31enter the Great Hall and see the King, Hands the
- 27:34German Shepherd, and Queen Penelope the Poodle sitting on their
- 27:39thrones at the head of the great table. The table
- 27:44is laid with the biggest feast you have ever seen.
- 27:49There is all the food you could ever wish to eat.
- 27:53There is an enormous turkey, a big joint of ham
- 27:57and a piece of roast beef so big looks like
- 28:00a size of a cow. There is every vegetable known
- 28:05to dog, and there are vegetarian and vegan options available too.
- 28:13You wonder what on earth there will be for pudding
- 28:16and if you can even fit it into your belly.
- 28:21There is lots of laughter all around the table as
- 28:24you sit down on your chair. Everyone is having so
- 28:28much fun. There is even a puppy choir singing jingle
- 28:32bells at the top of the room. So enjoy your
- 28:36food and have fun. Wow, that was a lot of
- 29:40food to eat. He didn't think you'd eat that much,
- 29:44did you, But you did. Now it's time for roasting
- 29:49marshmallows on the big open fire. So you and the
- 29:53puppies all sit with your marshmallows on a big silver fork,
- 29:58chatting and having fun watching them roast. And it smells delicious.
- 30:06After you've eaten your marshmallows, Simon says there is a
- 30:10little surprise for you. He tells you that with all
- 30:15the leftover food that no one can eat, you're all
- 30:18going to have a food fight. Oh my goodness, me.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Wow, a food fight. This is so cool.
- 30:29Speaker 1: You all rush the table and grab whatever food you
- 30:32can and start throwing it at each other. You're laughing
- 30:36so much that your sides hearts just a little bit.
- 30:43The food flies backwards and forwards, hits people on the noses,
- 30:48on their ears, and it plops down on the heads.
- 30:53This is so much fun. You, Simon and Noel are
- 31:05covered with gravy, potatoes, peas, and everything else and you
- 31:12just squeal with laughter. You've never had so much fun.
- 31:17This is an amazing place to be. Then Violet steps
- 31:23in to calm you all down and gently tells you
- 31:27that you all have to get cleaned up because it's
- 31:30really time for bed now, So off you all go
- 31:34to have a wash and put on your clean pjs.
- 31:40Violet sees that the three of you are really tired
- 31:43now and leads you into another very large room. This
- 31:48is the room which has the biggest dog bed you
- 31:50have ever seen. It is the size of a small house.
- 31:55Oh my, It's made of the softest fair and has
- 32:00the biggest, squishiest cushions made of feathers for you to
- 32:05lie down on. Just before you climb into bed, Violet
- 32:11says there is a gift for each of you, and
- 32:15then she hands them to you. Your gift has brightly
- 32:20colored wrapping paper and is tired with silver tinsel. Wow,
- 32:25what is it? What is the beautiful gift they've given
- 32:30to you? You feel so very happy now you know
- 32:52you truly have really beautiful and kind friends. You are
- 32:57so grateful for them being in your life, and you
- 33:01give a great, big sigh of happiness.
- 33:06Speaker 2: The three of you.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Try to climb in the big bed with Noel, but
- 33:11because he is so big, there's no room for you
- 33:14and Simon. Besides, Simon whispers to you that although he
- 33:19loves Noel, his best friend, so very much, he does
- 33:23snow really loudly. See you and Simon get into your
- 33:29own smaller bed. You close your eyes and you snuggle
- 33:33down to sleep. You take a big, deep breath and
- 33:39sigh it out because you are so very happy, so
- 33:44happy to be with Simon and his best friend Noel,
- 33:49so happy to be with these beautiful puppies, these wonderful
- 33:54puppies with very big brown eyes, and they're just filled
- 33:57full of love, so happy to have met all of
- 34:03the other lovely puppies. And this has been the best
- 34:08Christmas ever. So snuggle off next to Siren and breathe
- 34:14in gently as you slowly drift into the most peaceful
- 34:20night's sleep. Good night sleep, tid Oh, and Happy Christmas.
- 34:39Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
- 34:44not a creature was staring, not even a mouse. The
- 34:49stockings were hung by the chimney with care and the
- 34:53hope that Santa soon would be there. The children were
- 34:57nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Danced in their heads.
- 35:05Speaker 1: A Mamma in a night dress an I in my
- 35:07cap had just settled our brains for a long winter snap.
- 35:13When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter.
- 35:17I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
- 35:20Away to the window, I flew like a flash, tore
- 35:24open the shutters, and threw up the sash. The moon
- 35:28on the breast of the new fallen snow gave the
- 35:31luster of midday to the objects below. When what, to
- 35:36my wondering eyes should appear but a miniature sleigh and
- 35:40ate tiny reindeer with a little old driver. So lively
- 35:45and quick I knew in a moment it must be
- 35:49Saint Nick. More rapid than eagles his courses They came.
- 35:54He whistled and shouted and called them by name, Now Dasher,
- 35:59now dancer, now prancer, now vixen on, comet on, cuppered on, Dunder,
- 36:05and blexen. To the top of the porch, to the
- 36:09top of the wall. Now dash away, dash away, dash away,
- 36:12all as dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly. When
- 36:19they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. So
- 36:23up to the housetop the coursers they flew with a
- 36:26sleigh full of toys, and Saint Nicholas too. And then
- 36:31in a twinkling I heard on the roof the prancing
- 36:35and pouring of each tiny hoof. As I drew my
- 36:39head and was turning around down the chimney, Saint Nicholas
- 36:43came with a bound. He was dressed all in fair
- 36:47from his head to his foot, and his clothes were
- 36:50all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of toys
- 36:54he had flung on his back, and he looked like
- 36:57a peddler just opening his pack.
- 37:01Speaker 2: His eyes, how they.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Twinkled, his dimples, how merry, his cheeks were like roses,
- 37:07his nose like a cherry. His droll little mouth was
- 37:11drawn up in a bow, and the beard on his
- 37:14chin was as white as the snow.
- 37:17Speaker 2: The stump of a pipe.
- 37:18Speaker 1: He held tight in his teeth, and the smoke it
- 37:22encircled his head like a wreath. He had a broad
- 37:25face and a little round belly that shook when he laughed,
- 37:30like a bowl full of jelly. He was chubby and plumb,
- 37:34and a right jolly old elf. And I laughed when
- 37:38I saw him, and spite of myself, a wink of
- 37:41his eye and a twist of his head soon gave
- 37:45me to know I had nothing to dread. He spoke
- 37:49not a word, but went straight to his word and
- 37:52filled all the stockings. Then turned with a jerk, and
- 37:57laying his finger the side of his nose, and giving
- 38:00a nod up the chimney, he rose.
- 38:04Speaker 2: He sprang to.
- 38:04Speaker 1: His sleigh, to his team, gave a whistle, and away
- 38:09they all flew like the down of a thistle. But
- 38:13I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight,
- 38:17Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night
- 38:23Merry Christmas everyone, Night, night, sleep night. Now, Imagine that
- 38:34you are standing in a beautiful forest, and it's all
- 38:38covered with clean, fresh white snow, and it's Christmas Eve,
- 38:43and you are very excited. It's been snowing all day
- 38:50in this beautiful forest, and it's still snowing now, and
- 38:55it's covering everything that you can see there, all the
- 39:01tips covered in snow. And it feels cold, but that's
- 39:08okay because you're all wrapped up in your thickest coat
- 39:12and warmest boots and big soft bluffs. You look around you.
- 39:21What can you see? Can you see the tall trees
- 39:25dripping with snowflakes. Can you see the little icicles hanging
- 39:32from their strong, sturdy branches. Can you feel the snowflakes
- 39:39as they land on your face, tickling you? It is
- 39:44cold here, but it's also wonderful, and you feel so
- 39:48excited and so happy. You look ahead of you and
- 39:54you see you can see smoke, and it's rising into
- 39:58the sky from behind yet more trees. So you decide
- 40:03to go and investigate. You walk through the trees and
- 40:09you come out the other side into a lovely clearing
- 40:13and you can see a beautiful little cottage. This is
- 40:18where the smoke is coming from. It's coming from out
- 40:22of a little chimney perched on top of the little cottage.
- 40:27It's kind of a crooked little cottage, but it looks
- 40:29so warm and inviting, especially as it's now freezing cold.
- 40:35But you're happy and warm inside your thick coat, with
- 40:39your extra thick wooly socks on under your boots. As
- 40:45you get closer to the cottage, you notice that there
- 40:49are lights on inside it, and you wonder who is
- 40:52in there. So you go up to the door and
- 40:56you knock the door gently open by itself, so you
- 41:01walk inside. There is no one there but you, and
- 41:08you feel so warm, and it feels so very inviting,
- 41:14so cozy with the log fire burning. Oh, and you
- 41:18can hear the crackling, and it smells so nice. There
- 41:24are big squishy sofas and chairs full of soft cushions,
- 41:29and there are candles lit all around the room, making
- 41:33it feel so lovely, so nice, and so warm. There
- 41:39is a giant Christmas tree in the corner of the room,
- 41:42with lots and lots of presents under it, and you
- 41:44wonder who they are for. There is a very winding
- 41:51staircase in another corner of the room. It looks a
- 41:54bit crooked, but it's very strong. You turn back towards
- 42:00the fire and you notice that there is a little
- 42:03table near it. You didn't see it when he first
- 42:06came in, but you do now. And on that table
- 42:11is a letter addressed to you. So you open it
- 42:15and you read what it says. It says that you
- 42:20are very welcome here and you can help yourself to
- 42:24anything that you want. There is hot chocolate steaming away
- 42:28in a cup on the table, and a plate full
- 42:30of mince pies and chocolate marshmallows. The letter says you
- 42:35can even have a sleepover if you want to. How
- 42:40exciting is that? So you spend a few moments having
- 42:45a good look around the little cottage, feeling very excited.
- 42:53So just for a moment, go into all of the
- 42:56little rooms and explore and see what's there. You come
- 44:13back to the fire. Just as you are about to
- 44:17sit down with your hot chocolate and mince pies, you
- 44:21hear a noise outside, so you get up and go
- 44:25to the door to investigate. What you see outside makes
- 44:31you gasp aloud. What you see is Santa. His sleigh
- 44:38is filled with presents, and then you notice there is
- 44:42a very large polar bear standing next to Santa, and
- 44:45on his back is a baby polar bear. Oh my,
- 44:52Santa notices you and turns around. He shouts hello to
- 44:55you and waves at you to come over, so you do.
- 45:00You are even more excited than you were before. And
- 45:04it doesn't get much better than this. Santa introduces you
- 45:14to the polar bear, whose name is Fred. The little
- 45:17one on his back, well, he's called George, and George
- 45:22is very shy and just gives you a little smile.
- 45:27Fred the polar bear is not shy at all. In fact,
- 45:31he's a bit loud, but very friendly. Hm hm, George
- 45:35says in rather a loud voice, and you grin and
- 45:38say hello back. You tell Santa all about the little
- 45:42cottage and what's inside, and Santa informs you that the
- 45:47little cottage is his and it's for very special people,
- 45:51just like you. He says, you must have been extra
- 45:56good this year to be able to find this place.
- 46:00He's very glad you.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Did.
- 46:05Speaker 1: You realize it's very cold standing outside, and the little
- 46:09baby polar bear is shivering a bit, even with its
- 46:12thick fur coat. So Santa says she should all go
- 46:16back inside the cottage and get nice and warm. And
- 46:20once you are inside the cottage, you all take a
- 46:22seat by the fire or it feels so cozy and
- 46:27so nice.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Each of you.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Now has a steaming hot mug of hot chocolate, and
- 46:37the plate of mince pies has gotten very big now
- 46:40with loads of them on it, and a massive mound
- 46:44of chocolate marshmallows too. Santa, sitting in a big chair
- 46:50by the fire, picks up a book that is on
- 46:53the hearth. It's a Christmas story book, but it's a
- 46:58very special book. It's a very big book too. Santa
- 47:04asks you if you would like to hear a story,
- 47:07and you all say, oh, yes, please. So he puts
- 47:12on his glasses, adjusts his beard and begins to read
- 47:17a story to all of you. And it's a great story,
- 47:22full of exciting things and people, and you are really
- 47:26enjoying it. Then something very special happens. You feel yourself
- 47:36being pulled into the book, pulled into the story itself.
- 47:42How wonderful, Fred, George and Santa are also pulled into
- 47:48the book.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Where are you?
- 47:52Speaker 1: Where did you go? What's it like there? So for
- 47:57a few moments, be in the story, find out what
- 48:02it's about, find out where you have gone, and who
- 48:06else is there? This is a very special Christmas story
- 48:12and you are the main character. So go and have
- 48:17some fun for a while and enjoy yourself. You may
- 48:20even come back with a present or two.
- 50:27Speaker 4: At at.
- 51:37Speaker 1: You now find yourself back in the room of the
- 51:40little cottage with Santa, Fred and George, and you feel amazing.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Where did you go in the book? Who did you
- 51:54meet there? Was it fun?
- 51:58Speaker 1: And most important of all, did you bring back a
- 52:02present for yourself? Or did you bring back a present
- 52:06for someone special? You feel a bit sleepy now, a
- 52:12bit tired after being in the story with Santa, Fred
- 52:16and George. So Santa says that you can sleep in
- 52:20the cottage tonight. Fred and George are staying too. Unfortunately,
- 52:26Santa can't stay because it's a very, very busy night
- 52:30for him and he has a lot of places he
- 52:33must go and a lot of presents to deliver, and
- 52:37he really doesn't want to be late. Oh yes, you
- 52:42think to yourself, you forgot it's Christmas. Heave you tell
- 52:47Santa that you really must go home, But Santa says.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Don't worry. Don't you worry about that at all, because
- 52:54when you wake up in the morning, you will be
- 52:57in your very own bed.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Santa can do this because he's a very special, magical being.
- 53:06Santa puts down the book and takes you all up
- 53:09the winding, creaky old staircase to the bedrooms above. You
- 53:15enter the most amazing bedroom with everything you have ever
- 53:20wanted to have inside it. There are even little tiny
- 53:26fireflies dancing around the room, giving it a wonderful soft glow.
- 53:33There are three big soft beds with the fluffiest quilts
- 53:37and pillows on them, and you dive onto yours. You
- 53:41sink down into it and feel so safe. It's like
- 53:45wrapping yourself in massive hooks, so warm and comfy and cozy.
- 53:53You settle yourself down, and so does Fred and George.
- 53:57George is sleeping with his dad because he's only lick
- 54:00and he wants to stay close to him. Santa says,
- 54:04you must go now, and you must sleep. You have
- 54:07a big day ahead of you tomorrow, what with all
- 54:10the unwrapping of the presents you're going to have to do.
- 54:13And you'll also get to see all of your family
- 54:15and your friends too, even the ones you don't really
- 54:19want to. Santa says, you must be extra kind to
- 54:25the ones you don't want to see, because sometimes people
- 54:29are lonely, but they just don't tell anyone. Sometimes people
- 54:33are sad, so you must be kind to them and
- 54:37help them to be happy again. Santa gives you a great,
- 54:42big Santa hug and.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Then leaves the room. You hear him go down the stairs,
- 54:50then out of the big front door of the cottage.
- 54:55You then hear the tinkling of the sleigh bells, and
- 54:59you get up out of your bed and open the
- 55:00window and peek outside, and you can see Santa sitting
- 55:05on his sleigh, and the reindeer have now joined him.
- 55:10You didn't see.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Them before because they were eating their oats and carrots
- 55:13to give them the energy for.
- 55:14Speaker 2: The long night ahead they have.
- 55:17Speaker 1: It's hard working, you know, pulling a sleigh filled full
- 55:20of presents for kids all over the world. Claus, they
- 55:23have a very large Santa to pull to You watch
- 55:29as a sleigh glides through the sky and off into
- 55:33the distance until you can no longer see it, but
- 55:38you can still hear Santa doing.
- 55:39Speaker 2: His ho ho hose, And.
- 55:43Speaker 1: It's still snowing outside, but your room is all warm
- 55:47and cozy.
- 55:50Speaker 2: You close your.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Window and you climb back into bed, and as you
- 55:56close your eyes, you wonder to yourself, did that really happen?
- 56:02Did I really just meet Santa? Well, yes, you did
- 56:09just meet Santa. I'm Fred and George too. You look
- 56:15over at Fred and George and they are already asleep,
- 56:22and you smile happily to yourself, giving a great big
- 56:27sigh of contentment, and slowly but surely you drift off
- 56:34to sleep, thinking about all the presents you will get
- 56:40too open.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Tomorrow at.
- 58:40Speaker 4: A A A A A at
