- 0:02Speaker 1: Oh, I just burped. And I'm glad that's on recording forever.
- 0:05Speaker 2: That's the first thing.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Oh, I just burped. Keep it. I'm 46 now. That's
- 0:10Speaker 1: all that happens is I just make noises.
- 0:13Speaker 2: A cold opening.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Ah!
- 0:20Speaker 3: On the Lanai is part of the Oddpods Media Network.
- 0:46Speaker 1: How are you, Mr. Randolph?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Meh.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Why meh?
- 0:52Speaker 5: Meh.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Why meh?
- 0:55Speaker 5: Meh?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Don't know.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, Kristen, I want to say that you are a
- 1:00Speaker 1: thousand percent going to win the quiz today. But if
- 1:03Speaker 1: all Aaron can answer in is meh.
- 1:05Speaker 6: Meh?
- 1:06Speaker 1: You have no competition except Gina. And I don't know
- 1:09Speaker 1: if Gina was prepared to go hard today.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Well. You only pay attention when you... I'm getting... You're
- 1:19Speaker 1: getting what?
- 1:20Speaker 6: Negged?
- 1:21Speaker 1: No, no, no, no.
- 1:22Speaker 2: What? Isn't that the term when somebody tries to, like,
- 1:26Speaker 2: diss you romantically?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Negged? I don't know.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Are you trying to be cool like the kids? Because
- 1:32Speaker 3: I don't know their slang anymore.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah, if you could just, like.
- 1:37Speaker 5: That's like fucking... If.
- 1:38Speaker 1: You could stick to 20-year-old plus slang, that's all I'm
- 1:41Speaker 1: exposed to.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Trying to diss me, homie? Let's go back to the 90s.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Pick up artist bullshit.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Like, I say low-key a lot. Whatever. Talk to the hand.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And perf. It's the other thing they're always saying.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You're all that in a bag of chips.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Clocked that. I clocked that. Did you clock that?
- 1:59Speaker 2: I do say clocked that. For, like, I'm watching a
- 2:02Speaker 2: movie and I'm like, I clocked that. Like, I don't
- 2:04Speaker 2: know what else to say that's better. Like, I noticed that,
- 2:06Speaker 2: I guess.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I used to say I noticed that. But,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you know, on account of my coworkers being between 27
- 2:12Speaker 1: and 31, I now say things like, low-key obsessed you
- 2:18Speaker 1: can't be low-key and obsessed.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You say literally dead is that.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Literally dead no uh they say oh my god dad.
- 2:28Speaker 5: I said uh james you're such oxymorons yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 2: They're just morons yeah i think you're using those words
- 2:37Speaker 2: wrong it's just moron they're oxes and morons yes animals
- 2:44Speaker 2: what are your nieces and nephews gen z a alpha
- 2:51Speaker 2: i don't.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Know sofia is 2012 so she might be gen z
- 2:56Speaker 3: are we doing a show yeah we're recording.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Let's go yeah sorry holy shit all right.
- 3:05Speaker 3: His time is valuable people.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Sorry, fuck. I forgot that it was.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, I have books that I could not
- 3:12Speaker 5: not be writing right now.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Okay, look, first of all, I forgot it was my
- 3:15Speaker 1: birthday weekend, so my apologies. Let's jump into the show,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you dickhead.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 3:21Speaker 2: On the line, listeners, please welcome esteemed author Aaron Randolph.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Hey! Okay, well, don't leave me yelling at our guest in.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm not that much of a monster.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I think we should all yell at him.
- 3:34Speaker 5: It's fine. You can all yell at me.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I would appreciate it. I think he kind of likes it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Henceforth.
- 3:39Speaker 5: It does something for me.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Henceforth. When I start doming, I'll hit you up, all right?
- 3:47Speaker 2: No shame if that's what you do.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Here's the deal.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Tell me my penis is weird.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I like it. Speaking of Tell Me Your Penis is
- 4:02Speaker 1: Weird and other Dom categories, just shout out and hello
- 4:05Speaker 1: to our other Leo birthday gal friend of the show,
- 4:09Speaker 1: Kristen Purtle. It is now like a month or so
- 4:13Speaker 1: past her birthday and I am once again older than you,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but sorry you weren't able to join us. We do
- 4:19Speaker 1: miss you. And she's going to record us some crazy
- 4:23Speaker 1: voicemails and send those in. That should be fun. But
- 4:26Speaker 1: today we.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Have Erin, our our Stan Aaron rest assured audience members
- 4:35Speaker 7: and for those of you guessing to find out what
- 4:37Speaker 7: today's topic is really about these are not Stan episodes
- 4:41Speaker 7: we just wanted some more time with our favorite author
- 4:44Speaker 7: and apparently now submissive.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Book subby I think he called himself once.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Book subby.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Alright where do we go from here I don't know.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Nowhere to go but up at this point.
- 5:01Speaker 2: What have you been watching lately, Aaron?
- 5:05Speaker 5: Star Trek The Next Generation.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Always a solid choice.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 8: This has proven to be the balm for what is
- 5:16Speaker 8: going wrong in the world right now. Is to have
- 5:19Speaker 8: a show that is just so relaxed. And half of
- 5:24Speaker 8: the time it's extremely low stakes. And it's just joyful,
- 5:29Speaker 8: and I can shut my eyes during the opening theme,
- 5:32Speaker 8: and my skin will get all tingly just from the music.
- 5:36Speaker 5: And I'm just like, oof.
- 5:38Speaker 2: An ASMR effect.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Yeah, a little bit. A little bit, not going to lie.
- 5:42Speaker 8: I absolutely adore that show, and I've just kind of
- 5:45Speaker 8: forgotten how much. And so this trip is reminding me.
- 5:48Speaker 8: I'm currently in season two.
- 5:50Speaker 3: It's a good comfort watch.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Not yet to Beverly Crusher's Sex Ghost. That'll be later.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 6:00Speaker 2: How can you forget that one?
- 6:02Speaker 5: Classically bad episode.
- 6:05Speaker 2: You mean the best.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Oof.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I know that's what you meant to say.
- 6:10Speaker 1: That movie, or that series taught me to love romance.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Because I wanted....
- 6:17Speaker 4: Riker?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Riker.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I want him to mount me like one of his chairs.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah. God damn it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Step over me.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He looks a little more crazed the older he gets
- 6:28Speaker 1: at cons and stuff, but he holds up. I would
- 6:31Speaker 1: not turn him away.
- 6:34Speaker 3: He's married to Jeannie Francis, who's Laura from Luke and
- 6:38Speaker 3: Laura at General Hospital.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Fun fact, listeners, if you went back and listened to
- 6:42Speaker 1: every episode where I brought up Jonathan Frakes, you would
- 6:47Speaker 1: also clock that Kristen has said that He is married
- 6:53Speaker 1: to Jeannie Francis from General Hospital.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Hey, he was also the voice of Xanatos in Gargoyles.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But Marina Sirtis is his Amzadi.
- 7:01Speaker 5: He also appeared in one episode and directed several episodes
- 7:06Speaker 5: of Leverage, which is another of my favorite shows.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And the original Roswell, too.
- 7:11Speaker 3: He was an executive producer on that.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Leverage is a show about.
- 7:18Speaker 8: An ex insurance agent who gets hired to mastermind a
- 7:21Speaker 8: team of, uh, like thieves and criminals.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Oh my God.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That's what I want to do. How do I do that?
- 7:27Speaker 5: They get, they get screwed over.
- 7:28Speaker 8: So they decided to take revenge. And then after they
- 7:31Speaker 8: make it big, they're like, well, now what do we
- 7:33Speaker 8: do with all this money? And they're like, well, we
- 7:35Speaker 8: could do the same thing, but just help people. And so, yeah,
- 7:39Speaker 8: whenever the little, whenever the little guy gets screwed over
- 7:41Speaker 8: and there's a rich asshole or a company behind it,
- 7:44Speaker 8: they take him down. In a variety of entertaining ways.
- 7:48Speaker 8: It's one of my favorite shows. And there's a lot
- 7:52Speaker 8: of Star Trek alumnus.
- 7:53Speaker 5: On that show.
- 7:54Speaker 8: I think almost everybody makes an appearance at some point.
- 7:58Speaker 8: Even LeVar Burton was on Leverage Redemption. He has an
- 8:02Speaker 8: episode all to himself. And Wil Wheaton shows up multiple
- 8:06Speaker 8: times as the hacker Chaos.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Probably obnoxiously spelled with a K.
- 8:16Speaker 1: First of all, two things. One, I want to say,
- 8:18Speaker 1: join us for our next season and series of Jonathan
- 8:22Speaker 1: Frakes and Leverage Podcasts. Second of all, I feel like
- 8:27Speaker 1: Will Wheaton probably eats wheat thins.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Man, that poor kid got some hate on that show.
- 8:35Speaker 2: He was just a child.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I love Will Wheaton, man. I even loved his.
- 8:39Speaker 8: Like, You didn't deserve it, to be fair. Even I
- 8:44Speaker 8: didn't like him all that much, and I was his age.
- 8:46Speaker 8: And I think part of it was jealousy.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Oh, jealousy.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Because I wanted to be a space kid.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I wanted to be Jonathan Brandis' girlfriend on Sequest DSV
- 8:58Speaker 1: and live on that ship.
- 9:00Speaker 8: Hearing about all the backstory that he's told about Jonathan
- 9:06Speaker 8: Frakes and Gates McFadden kind of being his space dad
- 9:09Speaker 8: and space mom Yeah. Really kind of filling that role
- 9:12Speaker 8: for him because his real parents were shit, too. So
- 9:15Speaker 8: it's really, really touching whenever they talk about their time
- 9:19Speaker 8: on the show.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Love that.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You know what else I love? You know what else
- 9:25Speaker 1: I love?
- 9:26Speaker 5: What's that?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Golden Girls.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Golden Girls is the best.
- 9:30Speaker 5: I do enjoy some girls made of gold.
- 9:32Speaker 2: We're here to talk about season four, episode eight. It's
- 9:36Speaker 2: called Brother, Can You Spare That Jacket? Original air date,
- 9:41Speaker 2: December 3rd, 1988. Director, Terry Hughes. Writers were Kathy Spear
- 9:47Speaker 2: and Terry Grossman. Kristen and Aaron, what do you think
- 9:50Speaker 2: Brother Can You Spare That Jacket will be about?
- 9:53Speaker 8: I think a jacket's going to be put to death
- 9:55Speaker 8: and the Golden Girls are going to fight to get
- 9:57Speaker 8: it released from execution.
- 9:58Speaker 3: What kind of jacket?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Jacket?
- 10:01Speaker 5: I'm guessing obnoxious?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Hey, I'm a jacket.
- 10:07Speaker 5: What are you doing?
- 10:09Speaker 2: So leather? I don't know.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Hey, how you doing? My name's Murray. I'm a jacket.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It's Murray the Jersey Jacket.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh my god, I love it. I hope that's what happens, Aaron. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 2: that'd be good. Kristen, what do you think?
- 10:24Speaker 5: Me too.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Wow.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Wow what?
- 10:30Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Well, like, the literal, I mean, obviously there's like a
- 10:37Speaker 3: homeless person that they run across and some of the
- 10:40Speaker 3: girls are all snooty about homeless people or unhoused.
- 10:44Speaker 6: And....
- 10:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's going to be a very PSA
- 10:49Speaker 3: informative episode about the housing crisis.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I think Kristen may have cheated because she's a lot closer.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Well, I'm just going off the name of the episode.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I still like mine better.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I do too. We should do animated Golden Girls. I
- 11:09Speaker 2: think Aaron likes that idea. I do.
- 11:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So who's going to be the hardest for Miss Erin
- 11:18Speaker 2: to prove is our villain?
- 11:21Speaker 5: Wait.
- 11:22Speaker 2: He's going to say it in three, two.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Capitalism!
- 11:26Speaker 1: Thank you! And then other than capitalism, who would we pick?
- 11:32Speaker 5: Capitalism. It's always the right answer.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I'm inclined to say Rose or Dorothy for this episode.
- 11:42Speaker 3: But Only because if it is an unhoused person, I
- 11:46Speaker 3: could see Blanche being more flippant and villainous.
- 11:50Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 11:52Speaker 2: How does that sit with you, Aaron?
- 11:56Speaker 5: On the floor, because I don't have another chair. Otherwise,
- 12:00Speaker 5: I don't have an answer.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I just got pregnant because that was a dad joke.
- 12:06Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Don't like it.
- 12:07Speaker 5: And also, I'm sorry.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what the right answer was. Didn't want that.
- 12:13Speaker 1: and no one wants.
- 12:14Speaker 2: That no okay what do you know who are we
- 12:18Speaker 2: picking rose jojo let's go with rose coco rose it
- 12:24Speaker 2: is that okay with you aaron you're our guest couldn't
- 12:27Speaker 2: care less thank you.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Wow yeah thanks for showing up big time.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I remember to do that next time i'm on.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Listen Yeah, next time I'm on BFW. Did I like
- 12:39Speaker 1: share block this story? I don't give a fuck, Aaron.
- 12:42Speaker 2: There you go.
- 12:45Speaker 1: What's the right answer to this question?
- 12:47Speaker 5: That's an acceptable answer.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Fuck off.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Rose is fine.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Pitch me your story in 30 seconds. It's a movie
- 12:57Speaker 1: about fuck you and die.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:58Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 12:59Speaker 5: We're not mad.
- 13:02Speaker 1: At you.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Why'd you stop dying on that clock tower?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Well, we're going to keep beating the shit out of
- 13:07Speaker 1: Aaron for his lack of motivation. You guys listen to
- 13:11Speaker 1: a commercial. Then all of us are going to watch
- 13:13Speaker 1: the show together. Imagine it. We're in your living rooms
- 13:17Speaker 1: while you're watching it, too. And then we'll come back,
- 13:19Speaker 1: play some games, be some silly and hopefully get Aaron
- 13:23Speaker 1: a nap.
- 13:25Speaker 6: I'm Richie, a.k.a. Midnight Agent Raw.
- 13:28Speaker 5: I'm Devin, a.k.a.

- 13:54Speaker 2: Golden Girls, welcome back, let's go! Wake up, everyone!
- 14:00Speaker 1: Sorry, I brought Jason Priestley over here.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It's early for them West Coast girls, I gotta wake
- 14:04Speaker 2: them up.
- 14:04Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 14:06Speaker 3: I'm awake.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Good morning, Golden Girls!
- 14:10Speaker 5: Heyo!
- 14:14Speaker 2: We made you feel feelings this week, Aaron.
- 14:17Speaker 5: You're welcome. Like shit. I mean, Jesus.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You're welcome. You're welcome.
- 14:23Speaker 3: That was our F1.
- 14:25Speaker 2: It started out fun, and then you were like, let's
- 14:28Speaker 2: take a left turn into feelings.
- 14:30Speaker 5: For a multitude of reasons. Yeah, I just didn't feel
- 14:33Speaker 5: like this was a great script either.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 5: There was maybe one funny bit that I laughed at,
- 14:40Speaker 5: and that was it.
- 14:42Speaker 2: They really wanted to tell you something.
- 14:44Speaker 1: The musical interlude as they were walking around really irritated me.
- 14:51Speaker 1: That type of like, slow song it upsets me and
- 14:55Speaker 1: we'll talk about that more later i'm sure either uh twice.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Slow tempos upset me no i just.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I was like uh i don't want to feel like
- 15:04Speaker 1: i'm watching an aspca commercial when i'm watching a sitcom like.
- 15:08Speaker 2: In the arms of the angel god i'm so triggered
- 15:13Speaker 2: by that song so am i the jason channel all
- 15:17Speaker 2: right sweet i don't want to ruin anything in your
- 15:19Speaker 2: quiz but yeah we'll get into it yeah Alright, cool.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Aaron bald, you guys. Boy, Aaron just was sobbing.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I am bald. I don't have any hair.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Oh, this fucking guy.
- 15:31Speaker 2: You get the herpes? Your hair falls out, you get
- 15:35Speaker 2: the herpes?
- 15:36Speaker 5: No. I have enough STDs without adding herpes to the mix.
- 15:42Speaker 2: You heard it here first. Book sobby. Full of diseases.
- 15:49Speaker 2: On the lanai.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Breaking news.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Chock full of disease.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Chock full.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You've heard of chock full of nuts? This is chock
- 15:58Speaker 1: full of diseases.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Because he was chock full of nuts. Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Still applies, by the way.
- 16:06Speaker 2: What are those boys over there doing to you?
- 16:10Speaker 5: There's more F and less Y.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Oh.
- 16:18Speaker 1: More F. Less Y is U.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Shouldn't it be less W?
- 16:23Speaker 5: I was thinking the word Y, but whatever.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Now we're awake. Quiz away, Aaron.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It's almost noon for Aaron and I. Good morning.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Let's get into it.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Time zones. How do they work?
- 16:47Speaker 3: Well.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Magnets.
- 16:49Speaker 2: How do they work?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Question one. Sorry, did you want to finish the magnets thing?
- 16:52Speaker 1: I paused for you.
- 16:54Speaker 2: No, that was just that ICP song everyone mocked.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Magnets.
- 16:57Speaker 1: How do they work? Got it.
- 17:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:00Speaker 1: What's better than a friend that's a lesbian according to Rose?
- 17:07Speaker 1: The right way to write that question would have been
- 17:09Speaker 1: according to Rose, comma. I hit the space bar. What's
- 17:12Speaker 1: better than a lesbian? Well, the only person who buzzed in,
- 17:16Speaker 1: though it seems like Gina's having some job issues with
- 17:19Speaker 1: their buzzer, is Book Clubby.
- 17:22Speaker 2: He probably knows it.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, what's the answer?
- 17:25Speaker 5: I'm taking a stab. Is it the lottery tickets?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah. Oh, good.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Because that was a stab I was going to take.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have been my stab. Because Rose comes
- 17:36Speaker 1: in and says, like, oh, my God, you guys, this
- 17:38Speaker 1: is the best news. I have the best thing. And
- 17:40Speaker 1: she said, a friend that's a lesbian? And Rose goes, no,
- 17:43Speaker 1: lottery tickets.
- 17:47Speaker 2: The moment, are you going to talk about the Italian
- 17:50Speaker 2: names they were discussing?
- 17:52Speaker 1: No, I did not do a question about.
- 17:54Speaker 5: That was so wasted.
- 17:56Speaker 8: I was sitting there waiting for a third or even
- 17:59Speaker 8: a fourth name. that sounded similar.
- 18:02Speaker 5: JP, JP. They could have just kept going.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I was going to say, it's funny, but it's also realistic.
- 18:09Speaker 2: You're like, yup, very, very similar to my names.
- 18:13Speaker 1: You're expecting to keep track of them. Right? And also,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I don't know who this is I'm reading. It was
- 18:18Speaker 1: the letter. I was like, all of this is perfect.
- 18:22Speaker 1: But no, I didn't... I couldn't find a question in
- 18:24Speaker 1: that adorable setup. That's okay. Alright.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Um.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So point on that one went to Book Subby.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Let's go, Book Subby.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah. I got a point.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I'm happy now.
- 18:38Speaker 5: BS has got it. Kristen can have the rest.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Wow. How things have changed since your last arrival. All right.
- 18:46Speaker 5: I literally just need one. That's all I need to
- 18:49Speaker 5: be happy.
- 18:50Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:51Speaker 2: What a romantic.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It's good that you need one. But if you had
- 18:55Speaker 1: three coconuts, it would win you $ 100. How much does
- 18:59Speaker 1: three palm trees win you?
- 19:01Speaker 5: Well, since nobody can buzz in.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And just for good measure, fuck you, thing.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Was that 114 seconds?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Fine. Here's the deal. Let's just try that beautiful segue again. Well,
- 19:21Speaker 1: you have won. But if you had three coconuts, you
- 19:24Speaker 1: would win.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Well, now Kristen can't buzz in.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Why'd you buzz in again? Who did that? Did you
- 19:31Speaker 1: do that? I did.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't us. It was clearly me.
- 19:37Speaker 5: We literally can't do it.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Who did that?
- 19:42Speaker 2: Who busted in for Kristen?
- 19:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I was shaming her.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I can read motherfuckers. I was just shaming her for
- 19:51Speaker 1: buzzing in before I reread the question, which would be
- 19:54Speaker 1: the fair thing to do. Okay. Three coconuts wins you $ 100,
- 20:01Speaker 1: but how much does three palm trees win you? All right. Look,
- 20:05Speaker 1: you still got to buzz in first. Calm your tits. Kristen,
- 20:08Speaker 1: what's the answer?
- 20:09Speaker 3: $ 10, 000. Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Jesus.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Status of tits? Are they calm? Can we get an update?
- 20:18Speaker 2: They're getting there.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Come on. Excite your tits.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Come on.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Christ almighty. Get them in the game.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Get in the game, girls.
- 20:27Speaker 1: What happens to the jacket?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Damn.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Wait, Aaron's having buzzer trouble. I just saw him swearing
- 20:35Speaker 1: at his computer. Are you okay?
- 20:37Speaker 5: I was just like, no, no, go on.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I wasn't ready for the question. I was like, oh, shit. No,
- 20:43Speaker 2: go ahead. Kristen got it. It's fine.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Keep going.
- 20:47Speaker 3: It gets donated.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but where does it get donated to?
- 20:52Speaker 2: Do you want the whole journey?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to know where it gets donated.
- 20:55Speaker 5: That was a really open question. What do you mean?
- 21:00Speaker 5: There's like 15 things that happen to the jacket over
- 21:02Speaker 5: the course of this episode.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it gets donated to the whatever store it's called.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Do you want the name of the store?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I do.
- 21:13Speaker 2: That I do.
- 21:16Speaker 5: I do. Buzz in, buddy.
- 21:20Speaker 1: 49.24. Wait, she said something. What was it?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Are you talking about the Lincoln Hospital?
- 21:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It wasn't a good game.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 1: All right, Kristen gets that point.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah. All right.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Christ, you guys are grumpy today. All right, donating the
- 21:38Speaker 1: jacket was a regular mistake. But what does Sophia say
- 21:42Speaker 1: is a terrible mistake?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Oh.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Book subby.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Forgetting that Different Strokes is on after Cosby Show.
- 21:51Speaker 6: Oh.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Sorry, that's not the correct show. I don't know.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Gina. Well, fuck me, then.
- 21:58Speaker 2: We're getting different world is on after Cosby.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Yep.
- 22:02Speaker 1: All right, point, Gina.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Oh, fuck you. God damn it.
- 22:07Speaker 1: What?
- 22:08Speaker 5: Write the script?
- 22:10Speaker 1: You're so mad.
- 22:12Speaker 5: It's another reason why I hate this fucking script. It's
- 22:15Speaker 5: just terrible.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair. All right. Kristen, now seems like a
- 22:20Speaker 1: great time for you to give us a little point breakdown. Okay,
- 22:24Speaker 1: Aaron has zero points. She's like a happy child. Gina
- 22:30Speaker 1: and Book Subby each.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Have one, and I have two.
- 22:33Speaker 1: All right, great.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Coming for you.
- 22:36Speaker 1: All right. Anyone's game now. Who buys the jacket from
- 22:41Speaker 1: the thrift shop? Gina. Michael.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Implied. Jackson.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Uh-huh.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yep, that is correct. Wrong colored gloves with that glove.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like wrong colored glove, but I got
- 22:56Speaker 1: what they were going for.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I only ever saw him with like a silvery glove.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it was that like silvery white glove. That's what
- 23:02Speaker 1: my dog came with. Yeah, probably.
- 23:05Speaker 2: It's what your dog has?
- 23:06Speaker 3: What?
- 23:07Speaker 1: No, I had a Michael Jackson doll in the 80s
- 23:09Speaker 1: and he came with like one little sparkly glove.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I'm sorry, there was a Michael. How did I never
- 23:13Speaker 2: see that?
- 23:14Speaker 1: He was like a Barbie doll sized doll. He might
- 23:17Speaker 1: still be somewhere in like a box of shit in
- 23:21Speaker 1: my storage.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Oh, that's creepy.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:25Speaker 1: He was like middle of the looks Michael Jackson. Sort
- 23:29Speaker 1: of that like starting to try to make himself look
- 23:32Speaker 1: a little more like a white guy, but not quite
- 23:36Speaker 1: what he was prior to his death. Anyway, that's cool.
- 23:42Speaker 2: We're all about learning.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Next question is a no stump bonus. Speaking of thrift shops,
- 23:49Speaker 1: who sang the hit song Thrift Shop? Kristen.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Macklemore.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Featuring Ryan Lewis.
- 24:01Speaker 1: When I initially wrote this, I felt like I was
- 24:04Speaker 1: a little shy on questions. And then somehow by the end,
- 24:06Speaker 1: I ended up with more. And I forgot to take
- 24:08Speaker 1: that out. But that's cool.
- 24:11Speaker 2: He's going to pop some tags.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Only got $ 20 in my pocket. $ 10, 000 lottery ticket in
- 24:16Speaker 1: my pocket.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I got a $ 10, 000 ticket in my pocket.
- 24:23Speaker 1: It smells like R. Kelly sheets. Piss. All right. What's
- 24:31Speaker 1: the difference between Shady Pines and the shelter? Gina.
- 24:38Speaker 2: The lights and the exit sign work at the shelter.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Yep.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Safety first. Shady Pines.
- 24:49Speaker 5: Like those tits.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever seen you jiggle your titties
- 24:55Speaker 1: so many times on camera as today. All right. There
- 24:58Speaker 1: we go.
- 24:59Speaker 2: They're feeling good. They're all.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Guys, if this was a video. Just so you know,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you're missing out.
- 25:04Speaker 2: You feel good.
- 25:06Speaker 1: My bra is not good. I can't even pick them
- 25:09Speaker 1: up high enough to get to where my camera is.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Aaron's shaking his head. He doesn't like doobies, I guess.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Sorry that we offended you with having sexy titties. Oh,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I don't have a butt anymore. All right.
- 25:22Speaker 2: He's into legs.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Maybe he's into feet. What are you into, Subby?
- 25:27Speaker 5: Not feet.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I'm going to start sending you so many feet pictures.
- 25:33Speaker 1: He's into brains.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I cannot wait to block you.
- 25:36Speaker 2: He's a zombie?
- 25:38Speaker 3: Wow.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Guys, we're looking for a new stand for the show.
- 25:41Speaker 2: No, we're not.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Well, if he blocks me, he's not going to be
- 25:46Speaker 1: able to accept my invite to the show. That's all
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 25:49Speaker 5: And what a shame that would be.
- 25:53Speaker 1: That was me burping out how little I cared.
- 25:56Speaker 9: All right.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Next question.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 25:59Speaker 1: What has Blanche not heard a man say in ages? Kristen.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Is this your first time?
- 26:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Moving right along. Who is.
- 26:19Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I can't even read my own typing now at this point.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Who does Sophia see at the shelter?
- 26:27Speaker 3: Kristen. Ida Perkins.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yep. All right. Where does Ben Whedon say that he
- 26:36Speaker 1: worked in Minnesota? Aaron, did you stop playing? No. You
- 26:45Speaker 1: look so sad over there. Okay. I like you. You're cute.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Kristen, what's the answer, please?
- 26:53Speaker 3: The Excelsior Hotel?
- 26:57Speaker 7: No?
- 26:59Speaker 1: I'm going to give it to you because no one
- 27:01Speaker 1: else buzzed in, but it was the Minneapolis Excelsior Hotel. Oh,
- 27:08Speaker 1: fuck off. It's the name of a hotel. What do
- 27:12Speaker 1: you mean, oh, fuck off? Next time I'm like, what's
- 27:16Speaker 1: the name of Biscayne General Hospital? And you guys are like,
- 27:20Speaker 1: general hospital am i supposed to give it.
- 27:21Speaker 2: To you absolutely just because you said minneapolis so i
- 27:25Speaker 2: figured it was okay right it's.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Like if you say different strokes but you mean different world.
- 27:33Speaker 1: No it should no i don't know if that's the
- 27:37Speaker 1: same that's actually different yeah yeah i might.
- 27:41Speaker 8: Add your hotel is different from the minneapolis excelsior.
- 27:44Speaker 1: All right fair enough oh okay well then kristin you
- 27:47Speaker 1: can't have that point yes Sorry.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's what he's into, blocking people.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Okay, I guess I get a point that way. There
- 27:57Speaker 1: you go. Alright, as a reward, Aaron.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Now everyone's a wiener.
- 28:03Speaker 1: As a reward, Aaron, I'm going to add a slap
- 28:05Speaker 1: to your tally.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Hell yes.
- 28:08Speaker 1: We're at seven. Someone write that down, because I always forget. Well,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I obviously don't, or I wouldn't know you're at seven.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Seven slaps in heaven.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's like an entirely different game. Alright, here
- 28:18Speaker 1: we go. Moving right along. Since we've now had some
- 28:21Speaker 1: punitive point situations happening, I'll reset those buzzers. Oh, this
- 28:29Speaker 1: game is wild.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Can we get a score? Sure.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Kristen's winning. That's all you really need to know.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, Kristen is murdering us, so the one
- 28:39Speaker 1: point shouldn't make her that grumpy.
- 28:41Speaker 2: May I please still have the score?
- 28:43Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely. Aaron and BookSubby each have one. Gina has
- 28:47Speaker 3: three and I have five.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Can Aaron, excuse me, can Aaron and I be a team?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Then we have two.
- 28:56Speaker 4: No.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I'm just, okay.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I suppose.
- 28:58Speaker 1: We're not a very good team. We bicker. All right,
- 29:01Speaker 1: let's move along.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Plus you wrote the questions.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Oh, you don't get along. You better get married.
- 29:09Speaker 7: Right? Wow.
- 29:11Speaker 6: Wow.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I think he just doesn't want to get married.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's fine. I didn't make that gross noise.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I'm not thrilled about being married to Aaron Randolph, but
- 29:22Speaker 1: I didn't make that noise.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Why? He's about to be.
- 29:25Speaker 2: A thousand air from books.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Geez, Louise. All right, fine.
- 29:30Speaker 8: I think you mean a 50 air.
- 29:32Speaker 5: That's more accurate.
- 29:33Speaker 3: 50,000 air?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Do I have to make more people buy your book?
- 29:36Speaker 1: Is it not happening?
- 29:38Speaker 5: Oh, it's not selling like- By Rekha. for sure.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Buy Rekha and make her.
- 29:43Speaker 8: Yeah, books is not the way to get rich quickly.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 29:50Speaker 2: It must be podcasts.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it must be podcasts.
- 29:54Speaker 9: I think this show has earned about $ 15.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Someone asked me how much we make we're like because
- 30:02Speaker 1: we advertise and i said i think we got like
- 30:04Speaker 1: 15 last time we got a check and they're like
- 30:07Speaker 1: you have 15 bucks a month that's not bad and i.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Was like a quarter and they were like.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Oh so what's that per if you break that up
- 30:18Speaker 1: that's five dollars each of us so like a dollar
- 30:21Speaker 1: 33 a month we've earned each we're in the we're
- 30:25Speaker 1: in the earning producer abby's cut.
- 30:28Speaker 4: As for me, I actually get $ 2 a month.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yours is in pizza.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Like almost $ 5 a person.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Why did Ida fake angina attacks at dinner? Kristen.
- 30:46Speaker 3: So they could swap out the non-fat yogurt for the
- 30:49Speaker 3: real sour cream.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And that's a smart choice. I stand by that decision
- 30:54Speaker 1: for them.
- 30:55Speaker 5: I wonder what food.
- 30:55Speaker 2: That was for. Like a baked potato? Yeah, it was
- 30:58Speaker 2: a baked potato.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Who puts yogurt on baked potatoes?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Because it's a healthier substitute.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be an unsweetened plain yogurt. That sounds gross. Yeah, no,
- 31:10Speaker 1: they did it at the home.
- 31:11Speaker 5: I'd fake an angina attack too. Jesus.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I'd fake a vagina attack. Yeah, those are terrible.
- 31:22Speaker 5: How?
- 31:24Speaker 2: Once a month, a lady has a special time.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Just start throwing blood everywhere.
- 31:34Speaker 9: I don't... Like the LARPer? Lightning bolt. Lightning bolt.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I don't think Aaron understands, period. Yeah, I.
- 31:50Speaker 8: Next question erin nope i just i just wanted to
- 31:54Speaker 8: hit it because i haven't buzzed in in a long.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Time okay do you want me to leave you there
- 31:59Speaker 1: in case you might get this next one.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Right no i won't but it's all.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Good who sings the depressing song brother can you spare
- 32:08Speaker 1: a dime i.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Did not write that down i know it's from a
- 32:15Speaker 2: musical I think that's a you point, Miss Erin.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Sick.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Boom.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I buzzed in. I did it. It's actually a Peter, Paul,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and Mary song. And the whole song is that slow
- 32:30Speaker 1: and depressing. B-T-dubs. Cool. All right. I don't really need
- 32:35Speaker 1: a point. It doesn't matter.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Give me a point if you want.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I gave it to you. All right.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Write it extra heavy so it's thicker.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Next question. What do the girls do with the lottery
- 32:47Speaker 1: ticket in the end? Kristen.
- 32:51Speaker 3: They give it to the Padre for the homeless shelter.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Magic.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I like how you called him Padre.
- 32:58Speaker 3: That's what she called him.
- 32:59Speaker 6: I know.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Speaking of last lines, what was the whole last line? Kristen.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Here you go, Padre. Thanks for everything.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Sold.
- 33:12Speaker 4: All right.
- 33:12Speaker 1: What's your total, Kristen?
- 33:14Speaker 3: Sold. Book Subby got his one point. Yeah.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Aaron got two. Oh, shit.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Three.
- 33:23Speaker 3: And I got eight. Would have been nine. But Book
- 33:27Speaker 3: Subby screwed me.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Hey, I've been trying to get Book Subby to screw
- 33:32Speaker 1: me for years. You really you lucked out on that deal.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Look at it. It's so mad at me right now.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm uncomfortable. Hey, want to make out?
- 33:41Speaker 2: No.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Okay. All right, so that's our game, guys.
- 33:44Speaker 5: How do I leave the Zoom call?
- 33:46Speaker 2: There's a little door where the person went out.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You fucking love us. Don't act. Don't act like you
- 33:52Speaker 1: don't love us.
- 33:53Speaker 5: I'm ready.
- 33:54Speaker 1: You love us. All right.
- 33:58Speaker 3: You just had to hit that again.
- 33:59Speaker 1: You really want to hit this, don't you?
- 34:02Speaker 5: That was a wrong buzzer. It was telling you you
- 34:04Speaker 5: were wrong.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Oh, okay. All right.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Cool.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Good to know. Good to know. Your face tells me
- 34:10Speaker 1: I'm wrong all the time. Gina, do we have some
- 34:12Speaker 1: trivia on this episode?
- 34:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Let's see. Carl Wiedergott played Kenny. He was on an
- 34:21Speaker 2: episode of Star Trek Voyager. Matthew Faison was Father Campbell.
- 34:25Speaker 2: He was in Friday the 13th. Herta Ware was Ida.
- 34:30Speaker 2: She was in Cocoon. I love those old people. Teddy

- 34:53Speaker 2: He was in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Stan Wono
- 34:59Speaker 2: was Philip Starr. He was on Lifeline on G.I.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Joe.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I don't remember that G.I.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Joe.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Maybe Aaron does.
- 35:05Speaker 5: A little bit.
- 35:08Speaker 2: So a $ 10, 000 lottery ticket in today money would be $ 27, 494.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Wow.
- 35:12Speaker 2: To put it in perspective.
- 35:14Speaker 4: All right.
- 35:15Speaker 2: That's a lot of money.
- 35:18Speaker 5: I almost buy groceries with that.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Yeah, almost. Give me some eggs. This episode titles from
- 35:23Speaker 2: the song, Brother, Can You Spare a Dime? From the musical,
- 35:26Speaker 2: New Americana, which I don't know that musical.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Earl Aaron probably does. No.
- 35:32Speaker 3: No.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Uh, Terry Hughes, the director of this one got an
- 35:36Speaker 2: Emmy nomination for this episode, of course, because it's heartstrings.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Jesus. But it wasn't even that good. I mean, oh,
- 35:44Speaker 5: all right.
- 35:45Speaker 3: No, I mean, it made a good point.
- 35:48Speaker 5: It had a good message, but I mean, I don't
- 35:50Speaker 5: think it was Emmy worthy. Jesus.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Kenny, the, who I believe was the one laying next
- 35:56Speaker 2: to Blanche is one of the friends David brought home
- 35:59Speaker 2: in season one. If you remember Blanche's, uh, was it
- 36:02Speaker 2: her nephew? Grandson?
- 36:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, his idiot friends, yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 3: And she didn't recognize him?
- 36:09Speaker 2: He was the same actor. Teddy Wilson, who was next
- 36:13Speaker 2: to Rose, was the guy running the diner in season
- 36:16Speaker 2: two Christmas episode, if you remember him.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, okay. When they steal the whipped cream and
- 36:22Speaker 1: chocolate sauce without permission that time?
- 36:25Speaker 6: Yes.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Cool.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Andre Rosie Brown will show up again this season. So
- 36:30Speaker 2: I don't know if they just had him for a
- 36:31Speaker 2: long filming day or what. Different World was a spinoff
- 36:35Speaker 2: where Denise Huxtable went to college. I don't remember watching
- 36:39Speaker 2: any of it. It probably sucked.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I saw a few episodes.
- 36:43Speaker 3: It was okay.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Okay, it was okay. The Concorde that Blanche wants to
- 36:47Speaker 2: fly on was a legendary Anglo-French supersonic passenger airliner that
- 36:53Speaker 2: cruised at Mach 2.04. It would fly from Paris to
- 36:57Speaker 2: New York in about three and a half hours.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:01Speaker 2: And then Dorothy also mentioned Peter Graves, who is an
- 37:04Speaker 2: actor who played Jim Phelps in Mission Impossible. And that
- 37:07Speaker 2: is all I have. I'll now turn it over to
- 37:10Speaker 2: Erin for the trivia. No, not trivia.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Nope.
- 37:14Speaker 2: The villain.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yep.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I did trivia.
- 37:18Speaker 1: This one was a little light on.
- 37:20Speaker 2: What was it?
- 37:21Speaker 7: Rose, right?
- 37:21Speaker 1: It was Rose. And my first thing was. Yeah. I mean,
- 37:28Speaker 1: they were all so selfish. right like the only one
- 37:31Speaker 1: who wasn't terribly selfish was Sophia but in addition to
- 37:36Speaker 1: just the general selfishness of trying to steal a ticket
- 37:39Speaker 1: from a jacket in a homeless shelter I did say
- 37:42Speaker 1: that when someone asked her if the best thing she
- 37:45Speaker 1: had was a friend that was a lesbian she said
- 37:47Speaker 1: no that a lottery ticket was better than having a
- 37:50Speaker 1: lesbian as a friend so I thought that was pretty
- 37:52Speaker 1: shitty sentiment yeah I'd rather have a lesbian for a
- 37:56Speaker 1: friend than a lottery ticket because you're probably not going
- 37:58Speaker 1: to win.
- 37:59Speaker 5: A thousand percent. And having a lesbian for a friend
- 38:01Speaker 5: is a win.
- 38:03Speaker 1: A hundred percent.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely.
- 38:05Speaker 8: I don't, I don't think I've ever met a lesbian
- 38:08Speaker 8: who wasn't awesome. Um, and I've, I've known a fair amount,
- 38:12Speaker 8: so yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Yeah. I can, I can think of one that was
- 38:15Speaker 1: like a little grumpy sometimes, but like, she still was
- 38:18Speaker 1: like a really nice person. She just wasn't like fun
- 38:23Speaker 1: to be around at parties. Anyway. She was kind of
- 38:27Speaker 1: more introverted, so she got grumpy, and that's fine. Let's
- 38:30Speaker 1: go on. Next thing, and really, here's the biggest thing.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Rose the Prude, right? She's always so judgy about shit.
- 38:37Speaker 1: She asks Blanche two different times to give a man
- 38:42Speaker 1: anything he wants or sleep with him for a ticket.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I thought that was a little, A, out of character, B,
- 38:52Speaker 1: like how much she was wanting the money. Which really,
- 38:57Speaker 1: what I'd like to say is, despite Rose being.
- 38:59Speaker 5: Extraordinarily selfish.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Besides Rose.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Like, I want the money. You sleep with him.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yeah, like, not like... I'll fuck him, right? But, like,
- 39:09Speaker 1: you go have sex. Yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 5: Blanche will do it.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I thought that was the biggest of the selfish moments
- 39:15Speaker 1: of her for the show.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Yeah, that was pretty bad.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 2: That's true.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 1: So, for that reason, I would like to say proudly... that,
- 39:26Speaker 1: of course, capitalism is always the villain. But Rose.
- 39:30Speaker 5: in this big time yeah big time.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Huge yeah yeah as uh especially the nursing home story
- 39:38Speaker 3: oh getting old is not.
- 39:39Speaker 5: God that was that doctors.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Cost money the home costs money the medicine everything yeah
- 39:47Speaker 2: it's We don't take care of our elderly.
- 39:50Speaker 5: It's sad.
- 39:52Speaker 2: We still don't.
- 39:53Speaker 5: No, I know. Yeah, it hasn't improved any at all.
- 39:57Speaker 4: It's not cheap to get old. As I get older,
- 40:00Speaker 4: I'm discovering that more each day.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Sorry, that genuinely sort of depresses me.
- 40:07Speaker 1: But yeah. Yeah. Mr.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Book Daddy.
- 40:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 4: Oh, sorry, Mr. Book Subby.
- 40:13Speaker 5: That's okay. What's up, Abby?
- 40:16Speaker 4: Is there somewhere people could find your beautiful books that
- 40:19Speaker 4: you write or your funny shows that you do?
- 40:22Speaker 5: Oh, everywhere.
- 40:25Speaker 8: My books are available anywhere you can buy books, pretty much. Amazon,
- 40:28Speaker 8: Barnes & Noble, even Thrift Books, you can find copies
- 40:31Speaker 8: of my books on there. Like I said, pretty much
- 40:35Speaker 8: any bookstore you can think of, it's probably there. But
- 40:39Speaker 8: you can also check out my podcast, BFYTW, which is
- 40:42Speaker 8: more F and less Y. Um, you can find that, uh,
- 40:46Speaker 8: anywhere you find podcasts. So we play silly games, much
- 40:49Speaker 8: like the trivia game we had here. And, uh, yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 8: we just generally have a blast and, uh, yeah, we've
- 40:56Speaker 8: started the monthly blood on the clock tower series, which
- 40:58Speaker 8: is actually doing very well. Uh, I'm kind of impressed
- 41:02Speaker 8: and I'm hoping it continues to grow and hopefully it
- 41:05Speaker 8: helps to grow all of our shows, which would be fantastic. Uh,
- 41:09Speaker 8: being part of the odd pods network.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Um, You guys, just as a little plug for myself,
- 41:16Speaker 4: I was on an episode of The Blood on the Clocktower.
- 41:20Speaker 4: You sure were.
- 41:22Speaker 5: Yes!
- 41:22Speaker 3: You were!
- 41:23Speaker 5: And Abby's team won that episode?
- 41:26Speaker 4: Because I'm better than my mom.
- 41:30Speaker 8: Well, your mom has won one, too. So it's even
- 41:35Speaker 8: between you and Abby. Well, Abby and your mom, sorry.
- 41:39Speaker 1: I blur those lines, too, guys. It's fine. Kristen, where
- 41:41Speaker 1: can they find us?
- 41:42Speaker 3: You can find us across all socials at OnTheLenniPod. And
- 41:47Speaker 3: you can also email us at OnTheLenniPod at gmail.com. We
- 41:51Speaker 3: would love to hear from you.

- 41:53Speaker 4: It's time for us to eat our cheesecake, everybody.
- 41:56Speaker 7: Yay!
- 41:58Speaker 4: Okay, bye-bye.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Bye-bye.
