- 0:26Speaker 1: Good morning. Welcome to your Wednesday. It's not just any Wednesday.
- 0:29Speaker 1: It's a big Wednesday. It's a big, fat Wednesday. Ooh, yeah,
- 0:33Speaker 1: fat Wednesday.
- 0:33Speaker 2: How fun.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Fat Wednesday. It's Mix 102.9. Bailey the Kid, Candace Lopez
- 0:36Speaker 1: is here. Producer Pooh is here. We present Pooh with
- 0:39Speaker 1: his brand-new car today.
- 0:41Speaker 6: Yay!
- 0:42Speaker 1: At Grapevine Honda, which I'm excited about, and you should be, too.
- 0:45Speaker 1: People are guessing, like, well, if there's another surprise, what's
- 0:47Speaker 1: that surprise going to be? Yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 7: People are guessing, but you haven't guessed it yet. Actually,
- 0:51Speaker 7: one person did.
- 0:53Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 0:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And I'm not going to say who in case you
- 0:55Speaker 1: DM Pooh, but either way. Nobody DM me. Okay, I'm
- 1:00Speaker 1: not going to say anything, but we'll do it on Instagram.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think around 11 o'clock or so at Mix 1029 FM.
- 1:05Speaker 1: But I'm excited about that. Candice Lopez, what is going on?
- 1:08Speaker 8: I just was on Instagram posting a video, you know,
- 1:10Speaker 8: so I can post a link so people can listen
- 1:11Speaker 8: to us on the app, right?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 8: Totally realized I forgot to finish my makeup this morning.
- 1:15Speaker 8: I just threw the rest of my purse because I
- 1:17Speaker 8: ran out of time. And I was like, oh, I
- 1:19Speaker 8: look like the skeleton I bought yesterday.
- 1:21Speaker 1: No, you did not. You don't wear a lot of
- 1:24Speaker 1: makeup either. Even when you wear makeup, you don't have
- 1:25Speaker 1: a lot of makeup on.
- 1:26Speaker 8: Well, it's when you don't do your eyes, when you
- 1:28Speaker 8: don't finish your eyelashes. And that's like a thing that
- 1:31Speaker 8: just like changes your whole face, I feel like.
- 1:33Speaker 7: Guys are so bad. We wouldn't know what you did
- 1:35Speaker 7: and what you didn't right now.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's great. But for me, I know. But
- 1:38Speaker 3: I just thought like, is there.
- 1:39Speaker 8: Something you guys could forget and it would change.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Your whole face? Your whole appearance for a day?
- 1:45Speaker 2: No.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Well, I mean, sometimes I do like to put on lotion.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I moisturize.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Okay. So that's what it would be for you guys?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Well, I don't know about most guys, but if I
- 1:54Speaker 1: leave the house and I forget to kind of like
- 1:56Speaker 1: put on my lotion that I use every day.
- 1:57Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:58Speaker 7: It kind of makes me feel weird.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 3: That makes sense.
- 2:01Speaker 9: I don't know about poo. Do you have something weird
- 2:03Speaker 9: like that? No, I just sea breeze before I go
- 2:05Speaker 9: to bed. That's it.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Sea breeze.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You can set that sea breeze on there. I don't
- 2:08Speaker 1: even know what sea breeze is.
- 2:09Speaker 3: It's what I use in middle school.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It's like.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yeah. No, for sure. All the kids did. Or all
- 2:15Speaker 3: the girls.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Doesn't it exfoliate? It makes, yeah. I don't know. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: just feel a tingling.
- 2:18Speaker 3: It's an astringent.
- 2:19Speaker 1: There we go. Astringent.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Okay, thank you.
- 2:20Speaker 3: You put it on a cotton ball and then you
- 2:22Speaker 3: just like go on your face. It's like a blue.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Is it blue?
- 2:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 9: You should know what you're putting on your face, Pooh.
- 2:27Speaker 9: I've just been using it for a long time and
- 2:28Speaker 9: it helps my face. I don't get pimples.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Is it like alcohol?
- 2:32Speaker 3: I can see.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 3: His skin looks good.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It smells like alcohol.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Kind of. It's pretty strong.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Okay, cool. I didn't know that. See, you learn something
- 2:38Speaker 1: new every day. Mine's just some kind of weird stuff
- 2:40Speaker 1: that Some ex-girlfriend used to use it. I liked it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I always used it.
- 2:43Speaker 7: And then I had to text her one day because
- 2:44Speaker 7: they changed the packaging.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 2:47Speaker 3: What a weird reason.
- 2:48Speaker 1: To have to text your ex. How you been? Hey,
- 2:51Speaker 1: by the way, what's the name of that? I didn't
- 2:53Speaker 1: even say how you been.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Send me the link to the face cream.
- 2:55Speaker 6: No, you didn't.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I didn't even say how you been. I was like, hey,
- 2:58Speaker 1: we used to use this face stuff.
- 3:00Speaker 4: No.
- 3:01Speaker 7: I can't find it anymore. And she's like, they changed
- 3:03Speaker 7: the packaging. Here's a new picture.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I miss you, too.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Oof.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I was like, cool, thanks.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I'll be over here.
- 3:11Speaker 1: All right, bye.
- 3:12Speaker 7: Yeah, that was kind of weird. It was kind of weird. Hey,
- 3:14Speaker 7: you know what? Today's National Bathtub Day.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Is it?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Isn't that a weird day?
- 3:20Speaker 3: You're not a bath guy, though. Pooh is, right?
- 3:22Speaker 1: No, uh-oh.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Oh, you're not a bath guy.
- 3:23Speaker 1: No, I don't like baths.
- 3:25Speaker 2: What?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Are you a bath guy?
- 3:26Speaker 1: No. I've soaked before. You are the bath guy.
- 3:29Speaker 9: I've taken a bath for, like, put some Epsom salt
- 3:31Speaker 9: for my back, but I don't take regular baths.
- 3:33Speaker 1: God, Grandpa.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I did.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Well, yeah, my back was hurting a while back.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I hate baths, so you're the one who always said
- 3:39Speaker 1: you liked baths. That's what I thought.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I've done it before.
- 3:42Speaker 7: You're such a flip-flopper. It's also National Inner Beauty Day.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Oh, I love that.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:48Speaker 3: That's why I forgot my eye makeup today.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I feel beautiful on the inside.
- 3:51Speaker 7: It's also National Pumpkin Seed Day.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Okay. I do like pumpkin seeds.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 3:57Speaker 7: I do too, but I'm going to stop eating them.
- 3:58Speaker 7: I didn't realize they were so high in fat.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah, well, all like nuts and seeds are.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Candace is trying to fatten me up.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I didn't move to you. You always give me some
- 4:07Speaker 1: kind of almonds. Are you want some almonds? And I'm like, no.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Well, to be fair, yesterday you gave me almonds. The soy,
- 4:12Speaker 3: whatever they were.
- 4:13Speaker 7: Yeah, you want those, the rest of them? What were they?
- 4:15Speaker 1: They were soy wasabi almonds.
- 4:18Speaker 3: They were okay.
- 4:19Speaker 7: They're pretty good, but yeah.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to eat good, so keep that away from me.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Producer Poo, what's up with you?
- 4:24Speaker 9: Oh, yesterday I had to go to my 14-year-old's school.
- 4:28Speaker 9: to go retrieve his phone.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 4:30Speaker 9: Yeah, because he went to a dentist appointment or whatever
- 4:35Speaker 9: and didn't turn back his phone, left it in his backpack.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So I was trying to be serious.
- 4:39Speaker 7: I thought that's all they had to do is leave
- 4:41Speaker 7: it in their backpack.
- 4:41Speaker 9: Yeah, well, not at Wiley High School. They turn it
- 4:45Speaker 9: in in some classes. Every kid turns it in?
- 4:47Speaker 1: In some classes they have to.
- 4:48Speaker 3: In the pouch?
- 4:50Speaker 1: That seems so crazy to me. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 4:53Speaker 9: So I'm trying to be serious or whatever it is
- 4:55Speaker 9: for advanced science. So she's like, yeah, he had some
- 5:00Speaker 9: kind of alarm. It had some weird song. I go,
- 5:02Speaker 9: weird song? She goes, boom shalaka laka la la la.
- 5:07Speaker 1: What?
- 5:08Speaker 9: She was trying to sing that song that's like big
- 5:11Speaker 9: on TikTok and Instagram.
- 5:13Speaker 1: He likes my boom shalaka la na na na na. Oh,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I know what song you're talking about.
- 5:18Speaker 9: Yeah, but to see the teacher try to repeat the song,
- 5:21Speaker 9: I was trying to hold him in my lap.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was like, I'm sorry, I'll make sure he.
- 5:26Speaker 3: So his phone was ringing, basically?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it had an alarm. Playing that song. Yeah, playing
- 5:30Speaker 1: that song. Do you got to buy or pay to
- 5:32Speaker 1: get the phone back? No, no.
- 5:35Speaker 9: She said if they do it again, if she turned
- 5:36Speaker 9: it into the office, it'd be a $ 15 charge.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I was like, y'all ain't doing that no more. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: told him.
- 5:42Speaker 9: Wow.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I was like, dude, why didn't you just put it up?
- 5:44Speaker 1: He goes, I forgot, Dad. I was like, well, yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Why is he having an alarm in the middle of
- 5:47Speaker 3: the day?
- 5:47Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 5:49Speaker 7: It's Pooh's kid, so it's a reminder to skip school.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Reminder to turn his phone off.
- 5:57Speaker 2: The new Mix 102.9.
- 5:59Speaker 4: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 6:01Speaker 4: Kid in the Morning.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 6:04Speaker 1: We've got a chance to go to Disneyland. Coming up next,
- 6:07Speaker 1: we do it all day on the 10s. Get that
- 6:09Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app ready. Open us. While you're there, put us
- 6:11Speaker 1: on your presets if you don't mind. I would love that.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 6:15Speaker 8: Well, a Gordita vendor is being called a hero after
- 6:18Speaker 8: acting quickly to report that electrical fire at the State
- 6:21Speaker 8: Fair of Texas yesterday. So she's been a vendor for
- 6:24Speaker 8: 30 years. She was prepping her stand right about this
- 6:26Speaker 8: time yesterday. It's Lupita's Gorditas. Yeah, she's the one that
- 6:31Speaker 8: noticed the small fire on the midway. She called 911,
- 6:35Speaker 8: said Dallas Fire Rescue was quick to respond, but that she's.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Not a hero. She was just in the right place
- 6:40Speaker 3: at the right time.
- 6:41Speaker 1: No, you're a hero.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you're a hero, Lupita.
- 6:43Speaker 7: You say big text if you ask me.
- 6:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, no one was injured, thankfully. The fair
- 6:47Speaker 8: was able to open on time yesterday. Some of the
- 6:50Speaker 8: prizes on the midway were lost, but I just love
- 6:52Speaker 8: how the fair played along yesterday, posting, you know, big text,
- 6:56Speaker 8: mark safe.
- 6:56Speaker 5: I know.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I saw that. I was like.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yeah, in case anyone was wondering.
- 7:01Speaker 7: They have, like, the best PR team.
- 7:03Speaker 3: They do, yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Everything they do is... No, but I was glad that...
- 7:06Speaker 1: I mean, that could have gotten nasty quick. If somebody
- 7:08Speaker 1: wouldn't have reported it, that fire could have spread faster.
- 7:10Speaker 1: and ruin the entire Midway, and who knows what would
- 7:12Speaker 1: have happened.
- 7:13Speaker 3: No, absolutely.
- 7:14Speaker 8: So shout out to Lupita. Check her out in her
- 7:16Speaker 8: gorditas when you go to the State Fair of Texas. Guys,
- 7:19Speaker 8: Starbucks is looking forward to the holidays, already announcing their
- 7:23Speaker 8: seasonal menu launch date.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It is coming November 5th.
- 7:27Speaker 8: The peppermint mocha will be back as well as the
- 7:29Speaker 8: caramel brulee latte. They say they'll also release a new
- 7:33Speaker 8: barista cake pop. Festive merchandise also comes out that day
- 7:37Speaker 8: with another winter collection later this month.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah, holidays coming quick. Galleria lights are up.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Did you see it? Merry Christmas. Yeah. I mean, it's happening.
- 7:48Speaker 2: It is. It is.
- 7:49Speaker 8: Guys, Miley Cyrus's new album made history, not in the
- 7:52Speaker 8: way she probably wanted. So her new album, Bass Persuades,
- 7:56Speaker 8: debuted at number one last week. And then in its
- 7:59Speaker 8: second week, had the biggest drop for an album that
- 8:02Speaker 8: was already at number one, dropping to 157.
- 8:06Speaker 1: What?
- 8:07Speaker 8: Yeah, weird second week drop for Miley.
- 8:10Speaker 1: It's so strange.
- 8:11Speaker 8: Other than the Taylor Swift effect, I don't know what would.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Have caused that.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Oh. Yeah. You think Taylor affected that?
- 8:17Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I mean. You know, still at the same time, she
- 8:20Speaker 1: was still number one. I'm going to focus on the
- 8:22Speaker 1: positive here.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:23Speaker 8: Yeah, she's got those headlining shows at the Hollywood Bowl
- 8:26Speaker 8: in a few weeks. People are getting ready, you know,
- 8:28Speaker 8: love seeing her perform live. But some people are saying,
- 8:31Speaker 8: is this going to affect the possibility of her being
- 8:33Speaker 8: the Super Bowl halftime performer with the, you know, this
- 8:36Speaker 8: album just dropping so quickly?
- 8:37Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Maybe it could. I still
- 8:40Speaker 1: think usually by now they announced the Super Bowl.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's usually in September.
- 8:46Speaker 8: So I don't know what the delay is, if there's
- 8:48Speaker 8: contract negotiations holding things up or what's going on, you know,
- 8:52Speaker 8: with the Super Bowl. It's coming up on Valentine's Day.
- 8:54Speaker 7: Who do you want to see your dream halftime performer
- 8:56Speaker 7: for the Super Bowl?
- 8:57Speaker 8: I mean, I'd love to see basically the TRL reunion
- 9:00Speaker 8: we talked about.
- 9:01Speaker 1: The NSYNC reunion.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that would be good.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It would be so huge if they just showed up
- 9:05Speaker 1: at the Super Bowl. Which one were they at back
- 9:08Speaker 1: in the day? They did something.
- 9:09Speaker 3: They did the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but with who? It was Katy Perry.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I thought it was with Michael.
- 9:14Speaker 1: No.
- 9:14Speaker 3: No, that was MTV's.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Katy Perry.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Was it with Katy?
- 9:18Speaker 2: No.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Was it? NSYNC?
- 9:19Speaker 3: I thought they did.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 3: You're a fan.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You should know this.
- 9:22Speaker 8: Yeah, they did in Tampa, 2001. With who? Yeah, they
- 9:26Speaker 8: did with Aerosmith.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Aerosmith.
- 9:28Speaker 3: That's right. Britney came out.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Mary J.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Blige, Nelly. How did I forget that one? They just
- 9:33Speaker 1: recreate that one. Just redo that Super Bowl halftime show today,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and I would love it.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Can you imagine?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 1: All day. All day. Do it.
- 9:39Speaker 3: All right. I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Heads up, another chance to go to Disneyland. Coming up
- 9:46Speaker 1: at 7-10. We do it on the 10s all day,
- 9:48Speaker 1: so make sure you listen. Get that iHeartRadio app so
- 9:50Speaker 1: you can win, too. It's Mix 102.9. Bill at a Kid,
- 9:53Speaker 1: Candice Lopez, Producer Pooh, Dan and Shay.
- 9:55Speaker 7: Tickets up for grabs right now.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Who's this? Anthony. What's up, Anthony? What's going on? What
- 9:59Speaker 1: you doing?
- 10:00Speaker 6: On the way to work good.
- 10:02Speaker 7: You're also winning too congratulations you're.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Calling number one yes sir i appreciate y'all man yeah
- 10:09Speaker 1: man there you go where are you from uh four
- 10:11Speaker 1: words oh nice represent what do you do yes sir
- 10:14Speaker 1: uh i drive trucks Oh, that's so cool. Like semis,
- 10:18Speaker 1: 18 wheelers or box trucks or what?
- 10:20Speaker 5: Yeah, both.
- 10:22Speaker 10: Right now I'm doing dump trucks, but I drive semis
- 10:25Speaker 10: and box trucks.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You know what I'm kind of oddly obsessed with on
- 10:27Speaker 1: YouTube is watching this one trucker guy just live. Like
- 10:30Speaker 1: I just watched this guy live, how he sleeps, how
- 10:32Speaker 1: he eats. I don't know why. It's kind of fascinating
- 10:34Speaker 1: to me.
- 10:36Speaker 5: It's cool.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm local, but it is pretty cool. Oh, you get
- 10:39Speaker 1: to stay in town. Okay, good. Because I was going
- 10:41Speaker 1: to say my dad was a trucker and he left
- 10:42Speaker 1: and he just never came back.
- 10:45Speaker 10: Oh, God.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Maybe that's why I watch you. He said that's messed.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Maybe that's why I watch the YouTube videos.
- 10:52Speaker 9: Maybe.
- 10:52Speaker 7: Anthony, thank you so much, man.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Be safe on these crazy roads because people will cut
- 10:56Speaker 1: you off in an Elantra even though you're a truck.
- 10:59Speaker 1: They don't care.
- 11:00Speaker 5: Most definitely, guys.
- 11:01Speaker 1: All right. Well, be safe, Anthony. We appreciate you listening.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Stay right there so I can get you these tickets, okay?
- 11:06Speaker 6: Yes, sir.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Truckers make the world go round.
- 11:07Speaker 3: For sure.
- 11:08Speaker 1: They really do. Thank God for our truckers. Although, thank
- 11:11Speaker 1: God my dad wasn't a trucker for long.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Why?
- 11:13Speaker 7: Well, being an alcoholic and a trucker.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Is not a good mix. Oh, no. Definitely not. One
- 11:18Speaker 1: or the other.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Figure it out and stick to it, Dad.
- 11:21Speaker 3: You're right.
- 11:22Speaker 9: Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You're right.
- 11:24Speaker 7: And I think you know which one he's stuck with.
- 11:26Speaker 4: We do.
- 11:27Speaker 6: All right.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Real or fake news. I'm having fun, Candace.
- 11:30Speaker 9: I know.
- 11:30Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Don't be depressed, okay? Just laugh. You got to laugh
- 11:33Speaker 1: at life.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I am.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Sometimes. All right. Three headlines.
- 11:35Speaker 7: You got to tell me which one is fake, okay? Okay.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Because the news is wild. First headline. Two men were
- 11:42Speaker 1: pulled over for driving a couch down a busy road. What?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Two men were pulled over driving a couch down a
- 11:50Speaker 1: busy road. That is headline number one. Headline number two.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Scientists reveal AI-powered computer that can read your mind through
- 11:58Speaker 1: brain scans. Scientists reveal AI-powered computer that can read.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Your mind through brain scans. Headline number three.
- 12:08Speaker 1: HOA board member caught on a doorbell cam measuring grass
- 12:13Speaker 1: with a ruler at 2 a.m. HOA board member caught
- 12:18Speaker 1: on doorbell doorbell cam measuring grass with a ruler at
- 12:23Speaker 1: 2 a.m. OK, which one do you think out of
- 12:27Speaker 1: these three stories is the fake story? We like to
- 12:30Speaker 1: kick it off with Candace Lopez, who can either take
- 12:32Speaker 1: control or pass it.
- 12:34Speaker 7: To La Poo Poo Pants.
- 12:35Speaker 8: All right, I'm going to take control today. Lock me
- 12:37Speaker 8: in for that last story, the HOA story.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You don't think that's real? The HOA people are.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Measuring the grass in the middle of the night?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're crazy.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Not that crazy.
- 12:45Speaker 2: What?
- 12:45Speaker 3: Measuring the grass?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Coming to my neighborhood.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Okay, let's lock it down then. You are officially locked in. Now,
- 12:52Speaker 1: Producer Poo, which one do you think is the fake story?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Lock me in for that first story, driving a couch
- 12:57Speaker 1: down the boulevard.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Oh, you don't think that's real?
- 13:00Speaker 1: No, man.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:01Speaker 6: How?
- 13:02Speaker 7: I mean, there's ways, I guess.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Someone drove a bed once. Didn't they have, like, bed
- 13:05Speaker 3: races or something?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:07Speaker 7: Yes, they did.
- 13:07Speaker 1: That's right.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Okay, let's lock you in.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Lock me in.
- 13:10Speaker 1: And the winner today is... Candace! I can see someone
- 13:20Speaker 1: from the HOA doing this. That is the fake story.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Nobody was caught on camera measuring the grass at 2 a.m.
- 13:26Speaker 2: With a ruler.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Good.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know, just some.
- 13:28Speaker 7: I know the person who is in my neighborhood that
- 13:30Speaker 7: does it.
- 13:31Speaker 2: You do?
- 13:32Speaker 7: Yeah, I can see him walking around and looking at
- 13:33Speaker 7: everybody's yard.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Oh.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I'm like, get a life, loser.
- 13:36Speaker 3: What does the rules say?
- 13:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:38Speaker 7: The rules say everything. Oh, they'll find something.
- 13:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:41Speaker 7: They'll find something to fine you about.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Fair enough.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It has to be a certain height. It's these companies.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that they hired a contractor.
- 13:47Speaker 1: They're being taken over.
- 13:48Speaker 7: By companies now. So the companies would just want to
- 13:50Speaker 7: generate money.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 7: It's a big scam like everything else in this world, Candace.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I get it.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Am I being a curmudgeon?
- 13:56Speaker 8: A little bit, but you're not completely wrong.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Let's get to the real stories. Yes, it is true.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Two men were pulled over for driving a couch down
- 14:03Speaker 1: a busy road. This was in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police
- 14:07Speaker 1: posted a photo showing a small couch straddling two electric scooters.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And two men just cruising down the street.
- 14:14Speaker 6: No.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yes. They said that it was basically two lime scooters,
- 14:19Speaker 1: and these guys figured out a way.
- 14:20Speaker 3: To put a couch on it. Oh, I see it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Do you see it?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:23Speaker 7: These guys figured out a way to put a couch
- 14:25Speaker 7: on it.
- 14:25Speaker 3: It's more like a love seat.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a love seat. Yeah. Love seat couch.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Smallish love seat.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And yeah, they just said, you know what? Let's get creative,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and let's get comfortable. So they decided to do this.
- 14:36Speaker 1: There's a picture, but there's no video, because I looked
- 14:38Speaker 1: for the video. I thought that would have been awesome. Eventually,
- 14:40Speaker 1: somebody can maybe pull their cameras. the police officers cameras
- 14:44Speaker 1: and see but um yeah it's just this seat this
- 14:47Speaker 1: loves couch seat just driving down the street having the
- 14:50Speaker 1: best time ever so i have a feeling that there
- 14:54Speaker 1: was probably some alcohol involved oh yeah i don't know
- 14:57Speaker 1: but then i'm thinking to myself imagine getting a dui
- 14:59Speaker 1: for that couch right I was driving a couch down
- 15:03Speaker 1: the street, officer. Judge, your honor, Candace Court.
- 15:08Speaker 10: Right.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but I guess they weren't.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Creativity points for sure.
- 15:10Speaker 1: They could have been cited, but I think the cops
- 15:12Speaker 1: just laughed and they were like, get this thing off
- 15:13Speaker 1: the road.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Yeah, this officer looks like he's amused for sure.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Yeah, he's just kind of laughing and he's like, whatever.
- 15:19Speaker 1: All right, now scientists reveal, this is the other story.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That AI-powered computer can read your mind through brain scans.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 15:28Speaker 1: See, they built this AI system that can recreate pictures
- 15:32Speaker 1: people are looking at by studying their brain scans. So
- 15:35Speaker 1: they're seeing what they see in these brain IT scans
- 15:38Speaker 1: or whatever. It picks up patterns that different brains share
- 15:41Speaker 1: when they process images. It allows... It's to learn a
- 15:44Speaker 1: new person's patterns because everything has a pattern, they say.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So if they basically go into your brain and they
- 15:50Speaker 1: figure out what you're thinking enough of or when you
- 15:53Speaker 1: see certain things, what you think of, AI can recreate
- 15:56Speaker 1: a pattern and then guess what you're going to think
- 15:57Speaker 1: about soon.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And guess what you're going to do and how you're
- 16:01Speaker 1: going to react. And they figured it out. that it
- 16:04Speaker 1: actually works, which is terrifying. But then I'm trying to
- 16:07Speaker 1: think about, you know, what's good things you can do
- 16:09Speaker 1: with this? Because that's the thing. Like, some of this
- 16:12Speaker 1: AI stuff is good.
- 16:13Speaker 8: Yeah, because you can retrain your brain.
- 16:15Speaker 1: You can retrain your brain and do things, and you can,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know, figure out health. There's health benefits, and, you know,
- 16:22Speaker 1: they can maybe recreate things. But then there's the other
- 16:24Speaker 1: side of this. Imagine if, like, you're dating somebody, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: this girl's like, hey, let me hook you up to
- 16:30Speaker 1: this machine right here.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 7: I just want to see what you would do.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Well, it solves the question of, well, what are you thinking?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Right. Oh, my God. The worst question on the planet.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 16:42Speaker 1: What you thinking? I just want to know, can it
- 16:45Speaker 1: figure out what they want to eat?
- 16:47Speaker 6: No.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Oh, that now does that. Candace, if this computer does that,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'll do my whole retirement savings and I'll buy it
- 16:56Speaker 1: right now.
- 16:56Speaker 9: Seriously.
- 16:59Speaker 1: We got a chance to go to Disneyland on the 10,
- 17:02Speaker 1: so we'll do it again at 710 on Mix 102.9.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's Bailey the Kid, Candace Lopez, producer Pooh. Let me
- 17:07Speaker 1: ask you this. We were just talking about reading people's minds.
- 17:10Speaker 1: If you had an AI computer that could scan your brain. Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 7: Somebody on Reddit was talking about this.
- 17:16Speaker 1: What if you could see one number above every person
- 17:19Speaker 1: you meet, and what would you want it to show?
- 17:24Speaker 1: And then people's answers were hysterical. Like if you just
- 17:26Speaker 1: saw a number above Pooh's head right now. You know,
- 17:29Speaker 1: what would you want that number to show? The answer
- 17:31Speaker 1: is because it's like, hmm, if I thought about this, immediately,
- 17:34Speaker 1: what's the first thing you think of, Candice? First number.
- 17:37Speaker 8: Their actual stress level.
- 17:39Speaker 3: So I know, like, who's being dramatic and who's, like,
- 17:41Speaker 3: actually stressed.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That's actually a good one I didn't think of. Okay.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I immediately went to, like, I want to know. I
- 17:48Speaker 1: want to know how many times they lied that day.
- 17:51Speaker 3: That's good.
- 17:52Speaker 1: How many lies have you told today? Because that tells
- 17:54Speaker 1: me a lot about that person.
- 17:56Speaker 3: If you can trust them.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 7: Like, what number would you want to know?
- 17:59Speaker 9: I want to know about, like, if I see a
- 18:01Speaker 9: girl that I'm interested in, I want to know, like,
- 18:04Speaker 9: if she's shady or not.
- 18:06Speaker 1: You know, her shade in this level.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Her shady score. Okay.
- 18:09Speaker 1: A shady score would be kind of nice. Some of
- 18:12Speaker 1: the other answers cracked me up. They were like, okay,
- 18:14Speaker 1: somebody said I want to know how attractive they find me.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Oh, that'd be funny.
- 18:19Speaker 8: Yeah, if you could see someone's immediate reaction to you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, like if it's 1 through 10 and 10, they're
- 18:25Speaker 1: highly attracted to you. I don't know if I'd want
- 18:27Speaker 1: to see that. I don't want to know that kind
- 18:29Speaker 1: of stuff. And that can change. What if it's changing
- 18:32Speaker 1: while you're talking? Whoa.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 3: That'd be weird.
- 18:35Speaker 1: The more you talk, it's just dropping.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Right. Oh, well, I'll be over here.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:41Speaker 7: Somebody else said, I want to know, oh, I want
- 18:43Speaker 7: to know their net worth.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 18:45Speaker 9: Oh.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I want to know. See, I wouldn't want that.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Their credit score?
- 18:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Mine is a single digit. Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Their net worth, that'd be fun.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Somebody's going to ask, poo, is that the temperature or
- 18:56Speaker 7: your credit score?
- 18:57Speaker 6: Oh.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that would be too much for me.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I don't want to know people's net worth. It doesn't
- 19:03Speaker 1: matter to me.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it shouldn't change how you interact.
- 19:06Speaker 7: It shouldn't, but does it?
- 19:08Speaker 3: It would, for sure.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I think it does.
- 19:09Speaker 3: No way, it couldn't.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Somebody said, I want to know how well we'd vibe
- 19:13Speaker 1: together on a 1 through 10 scale.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Okay.
- 19:16Speaker 1: That's fair. Oh, this person. See, this is weird. I
- 19:20Speaker 1: want to know how many days they have till death. Oh!
- 19:23Speaker 2: What?
- 19:23Speaker 1: That's Billie. No. No, it's not.
- 19:27Speaker 3: We don't need to know that.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I would not want to know that. We did work
- 19:30Speaker 1: with someone back in the day, though. She was super old. Mm-hmm.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And every- Oh, God.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I know who's- And what?
- 19:39Speaker 1: Every time. I'm not kidding, Candace. Every Friday- Oh, my God. Every-
- 19:44Speaker 1: Every Friday, she would walk out. I'm like, this might
- 19:47Speaker 1: be it.
- 19:48Speaker 6: No.
- 19:49Speaker 3: What?
- 19:50Speaker 1: I would always see her walk out. I'd be like, hey,
- 19:52Speaker 1: have a good weekend. And then under my breath, I'd mutter,
- 19:55Speaker 1: don't you go dying.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Oh, God. Candace, don't tell me.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I mean, she was
- 20:05Speaker 1: working at like 90-something years old.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Here?
- 20:08Speaker 7: Not here at another station.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 20:10Speaker 9: Like she was around when Jesus wrote the first inscription
- 20:14Speaker 9: in the Bible.
- 20:14Speaker 1: No, she was with Marconi when he invented the radio.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It was something special. All right. Okay.
- 20:22Speaker 7: Someone else said, I want to know how many times
- 20:23Speaker 7: they washed their hands that day.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Oh, that's good.
- 20:26Speaker 7: I'm telling you what, around here, you'd be at a
- 20:28Speaker 7: lot of zeros.
- 20:29Speaker 8: If I see you and your number and then you
- 20:30Speaker 8: leave the room and come back and I know where
- 20:33Speaker 8: you went and.
- 20:33Speaker 3: You got the same number.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah. You're going to say something.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Sanitize immediately.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Poo, your number didn't change.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I washed my hands.
- 20:40Speaker 3: You better get back in there.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what, Candace, you'd be shocked
- 20:44Speaker 1: to hear if you went in the guy's bathroom, how
- 20:45Speaker 1: many dudes flush and leave. I'm just saying.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Y'all wonder why I'm semi-germaphobic.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I get it.
- 20:52Speaker 7: How many people they have in common? I want to
- 20:53Speaker 7: know how many people we have in common.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Oh, like mutual friends?
- 20:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 1: That's fun.
- 20:57Speaker 7: You can see that on Facebook, though.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 21:00Speaker 3: Yeah, but you've got to log in.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'd like to see their controlling number, too. How controlling
- 21:04Speaker 1: they are? Yeah, how controlling. Oh, that's good.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Somebody else said, I want to see where their current
- 21:08Speaker 7: happiness scale is.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Huh.
- 21:10Speaker 3: That's kind of good.
- 21:11Speaker 7: That's kind of good, because then you can kind of see.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Who needs a.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Little more patience or empathy? Right.
- 21:16Speaker 1: That person in front of you that's driving, that's going slow,
- 21:19Speaker 1: you can see, oh, they're at a one. I better just...
- 21:21Speaker 1: Let's just go around.
- 21:22Speaker 9: Right.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Let me give you some space.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah, let me wave at them and whatever.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:26Speaker 7: Now, something else I thought of is.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Is anybody going to want to know how many people they've,
- 21:30Speaker 1: we call it scrapbooking, how many people they've gotten frisky
- 21:34Speaker 1: with their total number? No. I don't want to know that.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Pass.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You sure?
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It would be kind of interesting. Yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 6: No.
- 21:42Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 21:43Speaker 7: Just to see. I wouldn't want it to be the
- 21:45Speaker 7: number I see all the time, but if I had
- 21:46Speaker 7: to pick from a couple.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:48Speaker 1: You know, if I could like rotate, if I had
- 21:49Speaker 1: like a remote and be like, nah, I don't want
- 21:51Speaker 1: to see that number right now. But if you're at
- 21:53Speaker 1: a bar or something, you're not single.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And if I'm looking around and I'm like, ooh.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I don't need anything with a comma.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Oh!
- 22:04Speaker 4: It's Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 22:07Speaker 4: Kid in the morning.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 22:10Speaker 1: If you don't listen on the iHeartRadio app, get it.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Get ready to win. Trip to Disneyland. Shot to win
- 22:16Speaker 1: that next. We do it on the 10s all day,
- 22:18Speaker 1: so make sure you make that happen. Candace Lopez, what
- 22:21Speaker 1: is going on?
- 22:21Speaker 8: Well, Landman is casting extras again for filming in Fort Worth.
- 22:25Speaker 8: They're actually filming today, but they do need extras Friday
- 22:28Speaker 8: and Monday. This pays $ 150 to $ 200 for around 12
- 22:33Speaker 8: hours of work.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I know that depends on the legal. Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 1: $ 100 for 12 hours.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I mean, hopefully you don't work 12 hours, but you might.
- 22:42Speaker 3: You really might.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Long day.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 8: Here's what they need this time. They're looking for college students.
- 22:48Speaker 8: An elderly Latino man.
- 22:50Speaker 7: I was going to say elderly poo, but no, Latino.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Latino party guests. Oh, okay.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Candace, you could be a Latino party guest.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Oh, I totally could. Can I go hang out on
- 23:01Speaker 3: Landman all day?
- 23:02Speaker 1: Yeah, do it for $ 100.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds great.
- 23:04Speaker 7: I'll give you $ 100 to stay here, please.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Okay, perfect.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Please do.
- 23:08Speaker 8: They also need museum guides and museum security.
- 23:12Speaker 3: You can apply online on my casting call.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Could I be any of those?
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys could both be.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Museum security?
- 23:17Speaker 3: Security, yeah. For sure.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Top flight security. Here we are. Let's talk to Bob Thornton.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Let him hook us up.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah, on one of those, like, Power Wheel things.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Yeah, who and I on Segways?
- 23:28Speaker 3: Segways.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Paul Blart.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Yeah, with a flashlight.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 1: We could do that.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Totally.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Sign up, guys. See what happens.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Do you guys want some food news today?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Always.
- 23:38Speaker 8: OK, because Kraft is going viral for their new line
- 23:42Speaker 8: of cheesy ramen.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Oh, yes.
- 23:45Speaker 3: It's coming out next year.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Kraft is making a cheesy ramen.
- 23:48Speaker 6: Yes.
- 23:48Speaker 8: This is going to be their first move into a
- 23:50Speaker 8: new food category in 20 years. So they're going to
- 23:53Speaker 8: have spicy chicken and pork flavors all with Kraft's cheese sauce.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I just I'm trying to eat better. So ramen. I
- 24:01Speaker 1: haven't eaten ramen yet. because just the sodium is so
- 24:04Speaker 1: high and all the weird stuff.
- 24:05Speaker 8: In it so high yeah the last time i had
- 24:07Speaker 8: ramen was because enzo went to a birthday party and
- 24:10Speaker 8: the kid it was like all the theme was sort
- 24:12Speaker 8: of like that vibe and so they gave out ramen
- 24:15Speaker 8: and like the party packs and so.
- 24:17Speaker 3: He had never had it and we had ramen.
- 24:19Speaker 8: Together and he loved it it's just so good it's
- 24:21Speaker 8: not good for you no.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But the spicy ramen i love it but i mean
- 24:24Speaker 1: i still eat it raw every once in.
- 24:26Speaker 3: A while Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Just because I'm a weirdo.
- 24:28Speaker 3: That's your thing.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's cheese. You know I love cheese.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 8: Well, I guess they saw people adding the cheese packets
- 24:34Speaker 8: to the ramen online for extra creaminess, so they just decided.
- 24:37Speaker 3: To make it an actual thing.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You know what I saw somebody do with ramen once
- 24:40Speaker 1: not too long ago online? They were doing ranch packets.
- 24:42Speaker 1: They were adding ranch to it.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Oh, that makes sense.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Like just a powder seasoned ranch.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I could do that.
- 24:47Speaker 7: They were putting it in. Yeah, I mean, how is
- 24:49Speaker 7: that going to make anything bad?
- 24:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I saw somebody adding that to make low-fat ranch. They
- 24:53Speaker 1: were adding it to yogurt, Greek yogurt. A pack at
- 24:57Speaker 1: a ranch, and they were making low-fat. You could eat
- 24:59Speaker 1: like a whole tub of it.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a dip. Put your chips or pretzels
- 25:03Speaker 3: in it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Chips, pretzels, vegetables. Yeah, very smart. That is like an
- 25:07Speaker 1: anti-Big Back hack right there.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. I like it.
- 25:10Speaker 8: Guys, real quick, a new study finds that for the
- 25:13Speaker 8: first time in years, more U.S.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Households are bringing home kittens than puppies.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Whoa, really?
- 25:19Speaker 3: I know, yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 8: They're saying it's not that cat ownership is truly on
- 25:22Speaker 8: the rise, but that dog ownership is actually going down.
- 25:25Speaker 2: What?
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:27Speaker 8: Well, I guess that's the cost.
- 25:29Speaker 3: You know, everything costs more.
- 25:30Speaker 8: The biggest reason there, you know, the average dog owner
- 25:33Speaker 8: spends around thirteen hundred dollars a year for a cat.
- 25:35Speaker 3: It's about half that cost.
- 25:36Speaker 8: But they're saying the number of households with dogs has
- 25:39Speaker 8: gone down over the last five years.
- 25:42Speaker 3: And, you know, that's kind of an issue.
- 25:43Speaker 1: The cost. I always said I'm not a cat guy,
- 25:45Speaker 1: but I really I mean, I don't hate cats. I
- 25:47Speaker 1: like cats.
- 25:48Speaker 7: But I mean, I can see why people like them
- 25:50Speaker 7: because they just do their own thing.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:52Speaker 3: They're very independent.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Whatever. My dog is the exact opposite. My dog needs
- 25:56Speaker 1: attention all the time, has separation anxiety, wants to be
- 25:58Speaker 1: a human. You know, I mean, it's like a lot of.
- 26:01Speaker 1: You got to plan a day around the dog and
- 26:03Speaker 1: make sure he's getting exercise. He is human. What are
- 26:06Speaker 1: you talking about?
- 26:06Speaker 7: He is pretty much human. A cat, they're like pretty
- 26:08Speaker 7: much on their own.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Right.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Can't be bothered.
- 26:10Speaker 7: You're actually annoying them. Like our boss, Zan, her cat,
- 26:13Speaker 7: Big Steve.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Oh, Steve. Big Steve.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 7: Now, he's a little shady, though.
- 26:19Speaker 1: No, he is.
- 26:20Speaker 3: He can turn. He can flip a switch.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Yeah, like he attacks her fiance in the middle of
- 26:24Speaker 7: the night.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He's not Garfield.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Why was he attacking him because he was coughing or sneezing?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, he got annoyed because poor Richard starts coughing. All
- 26:32Speaker 1: of a sudden, Big Steve jumps on the bed and
- 26:34Speaker 1: just jumps him.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:37Speaker 3: You're ruining the vibe.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Like, how are you going to do it?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Like, what?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Steve is a good boy. All right. I'm Candace Lopez.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 26:46Speaker 2: 102.9.
- 26:47Speaker 3: The new Mix 102.9.
- 26:51Speaker 1: About to do the banger. We got Dirty Little Secret
- 26:53Speaker 1: next on Mix 102.9. It's Bailey the Kid, Candace Lopez.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Pooh is here. I'm cracking up because this girl went
- 26:58Speaker 1: viral because she's, well, she goes off on TikTok and
- 27:01Speaker 1: she's like, I'm getting scammed and I just want to
- 27:03Speaker 1: give everybody a heads up. Real quick, because there is
- 27:06Speaker 1: a new scam around and it just got me for
- 27:09Speaker 1: hundreds of dollars.
- 27:10Speaker 7: And I'm like, invested. She goes, yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 1: So I found out basically that the grocery store is
- 27:17Speaker 1: ripping me off. Is that how she talks? Yeah. And
- 27:21Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I'm like, I'm all in.
- 27:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I want to know. I love to know.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I go to the grocery store almost every day.
- 27:26Speaker 7: I was just at Tom Thumb yesterday.
- 27:28Speaker 1: She goes, so there's a new scam going around where
- 27:31Speaker 1: they basically ask you if you want cash back.
- 27:35Speaker 7: And then they take it out of your bank account.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Shut up. No.
- 27:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 7: And she's dead serious in this video.
- 27:46Speaker 3: No.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah. She's like, so basically all the money that we're
- 27:49Speaker 1: saving when it says, you know, you want a coupon?
- 27:52Speaker 1: She thought basically that she was saving money. Right. Listen
- 27:55Speaker 1: to this. She thought she was saving money by using
- 27:57Speaker 1: coupons or doing whatever, getting these deals because she was
- 28:00Speaker 1: a member at that particular store. Right.
- 28:01Speaker 7: So at the end, they're like, hey, how do you
- 28:03Speaker 7: want your money back that you just saved?
- 28:06Speaker 2: Oh.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Rewards. Do you want the rewards? Because we'll just give
- 28:08Speaker 1: you cash. She's like, well, then, of course, I'm going
- 28:11Speaker 1: to take the cash. She goes, and then I noticed
- 28:13Speaker 1: on my bank account, well, $ 50 was out.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 7: And I put the two and two together, so I'm
- 28:19Speaker 7: just letting y'all know.
- 28:20Speaker 6: No.
- 28:21Speaker 2: It's a scam.
- 28:22Speaker 7: That when you hit that cash back button, oh, it
- 28:24Speaker 7: comes out of your bank.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Huh?
- 28:27Speaker 1: People were just roasting her.
- 28:29Speaker 3: What's the saying for this? Bless her heart.
- 28:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Bless her heart. And then I felt bad because I'm
- 28:40Speaker 1: reading the comments and they're like, are you serious? You idiot.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And then she came back online. She was like, it
- 28:46Speaker 1: was just a joke, y'all. I was just kidding.
- 28:49Speaker 7: But were you at that point? Just own it either way. Hey,
- 28:53Speaker 7: before the.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Banger, I had to tell you that before the banger
- 28:56Speaker 1: surprise today. For Producer Pooh, we got him a new
- 28:59Speaker 1: car from Grapevine Honda. Yeah, you did. I'm so excited
- 29:03Speaker 1: because we are going to reveal it today.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 29:08Speaker 7: At 11 o'clock. Why do you say, oh, God?
- 29:11Speaker 6: You know what?
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'm so offended.
- 29:13Speaker 3: We're, like, more excited than you.
- 29:14Speaker 1: It's so weird.
- 29:16Speaker 9: I'm excited, but I got people like Tracy Anderson, Mo
- 29:19Speaker 9: Combs that are DMing me, and they're like, Billy has
- 29:22Speaker 9: to have something up his sleeve.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And I'm like, hmm, what.
- 29:25Speaker 6: Is the catch?
- 29:25Speaker 7: First of all, it depends on what do you mean
- 29:27Speaker 7: by up my sleeve.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 29:29Speaker 1: You know, I've known you for years, so I don't know.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Is it a brand-new car? Yes. Yeah, it's a brand-new car.
- 29:34Speaker 3: The Passport, right?
- 29:35Speaker 1: Beautiful Passport.
- 29:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 29:36Speaker 1: And I will say this. This is the one thing
- 29:38Speaker 1: I will say. It is customized.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Thank you. It is definitely one-on-one.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's perfect.
- 29:45Speaker 7: That's all I'm saying.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You don't want your stuff looking like everybody else's.
- 29:48Speaker 1: And that's what he told me when he was talking about,
- 29:50Speaker 1: I want a new car. I just don't want something
- 29:51Speaker 1: everybody has. When he said that, I'm like, well, then
- 29:54Speaker 1: we got to hook them up. You said, I know you,
- 29:55Speaker 1: so I know what you like. And I was like, okay,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm going to trust you.
- 29:58Speaker 7: Oh, and you definitely like this.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's five seats.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Beautiful. The new passports.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Wireless connectivity for your phone.
- 30:05Speaker 1: That's huge.
- 30:07Speaker 7: Yeah, you're going to have Bluetooth for the first time ever.
- 30:09Speaker 9: And shout out to Evelyn because she said, I can't
- 30:12Speaker 9: wait to see you on the road with your tortas.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Oh, there's room for them.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Passports. It got room. Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 9: Room.
- 30:21Speaker 1: OK.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Car.
- 30:22Speaker 3: It's comfy.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Back room. I'm excited.
- 30:24Speaker 9: I'm just looking at Billy smiling over there.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I'm like, Candace is smiling. Yeah, she is.
- 30:30Speaker 3: I'm excited.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm excited, too.
- 30:31Speaker 3: So huge day.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Huge day. Eleven o'clock today. We're going to do that
- 30:35Speaker 1: on Instagram live so you could see his reaction. Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 1: live on Instagram to see how, I mean, hashtag blessed. Yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 1: thank to y'all and Grapevine Honda. Thank you.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:45Speaker 7: I appreciate it. That's what I like to hear.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm not trying to hear, oh, man, are you serious? Yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 1: you know I appreciate stuff. I appreciate everything y'all.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Do for me.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I know you do. But listen, you're nervous about it.
- 30:58Speaker 1: There's nothing to be nervous about.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it has wheels and tires.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Does it have gas in it?
- 31:02Speaker 6: Yes.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Full tank, matter of fact. Okay.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I filled it up myself yesterday.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 31:08Speaker 7: At Grapevine Honda. I went over there, filled it up.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I washed it, detailed it, and had to check everything out. Good.
- 31:13Speaker 1: It looks good.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Nice.
- 31:15Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Okay. All right.
- 31:17Speaker 7: 11 o'clock at Mix 1029 FM on Instagram.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Get it off your chest. It's Dirty Little Secret with
- 31:24Speaker 4: Billy the Kid in the Morning on Mix 102.9.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 31:28Speaker 7: It's Billy the Kid, Candace Lopez, Poo is here.
- 31:31Speaker 1: We had Dirty Little Secret yesterday, but by the way,
- 31:33Speaker 1: we posted it on our Instagram, and there's some people
- 31:35Speaker 1: guessing because yesterday this girl claims, allegedly, of course, there
- 31:39Speaker 1: was a secret funeral at.
- 31:42Speaker 7: A very famous stadium where our boys play.
- 31:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 31:45Speaker 1: And somebody guessed, an interesting guess yesterday on our Instagram,
- 31:49Speaker 1: they said they think it was Chuck Norris' funeral.
- 31:52Speaker 3: That's wild to me.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Because that, like, could make sense.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they had a secret funeral, like, literally on the star.
- 31:58Speaker 7: The casket was on the star.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Weird.
- 32:00Speaker 1: You just never know what you're going to get with
- 32:02Speaker 1: Dirty Little Secret. But either way, you can check that
- 32:03Speaker 1: out on our Instagram, at Mix1029FM. Now, if you have one, 833-787-1029,
- 32:06Speaker 1: you have a secret. What's going on?
- 32:12Speaker 6: Yeah, it's kind of a heavy one, but I've never
- 32:15Speaker 6: told anybody this, actually. Not even my sister. But a
- 32:18Speaker 6: couple of years ago, I.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Helped cover up our dad's affair.
- 32:22Speaker 6: What?
- 32:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 6: So my parents have been unhappily married, like, for a
- 32:28Speaker 6: long time, as far as I can remember.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Honestly, I.
- 32:31Speaker 6: I can't really think of a time where I looked
- 32:33Speaker 6: at them and thought they really loved each other. It's
- 32:37Speaker 6: been pretty rocky for most of my childhood. And I
- 32:41Speaker 6: hate saying this because she's my mom, but she's always
- 32:44Speaker 6: treated my dad like crap, really, really bad. My sister
- 32:48Speaker 6: and I both saw it growing up, not just me. Obviously,
- 32:51Speaker 6: when we were kids, we didn't really understand or get
- 32:55Speaker 6: what was going on. But as I got older, especially
- 33:00Speaker 6: as an adult now, my dad and I started having
- 33:02Speaker 6: some pretty serious talks. And he's told me more than.
- 33:06Speaker 11: Once that the only reason why he stayed with me.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Our mom was because of the kids, of us, you know?
- 33:12Speaker 6: But my mom is just a very unhappy, you know,
- 33:18Speaker 6: I hate saying this about my mother, but she's kind
- 33:19Speaker 6: of a miserable person. A couple of years ago, I
- 33:23Speaker 6: accidentally found my dad out with another woman.
- 33:26Speaker 10: And that was very, yeah, that was very awkward.
- 33:30Speaker 1: You found out about another or you saw them out?
- 33:32Speaker 6: So I was meeting a friend at this random hotel
- 33:36Speaker 6: bar one night and I walked in and saw my
- 33:39Speaker 6: dad sitting there with a woman.
- 33:41Speaker 5: And you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 6: I was actually, it definitely shocked me because if you
- 33:46Speaker 6: knew my dad, you'd never think this is that he
- 33:49Speaker 6: was the guy to be doing this, you know?
- 33:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 7: You don't, you don't expect that ever, no matter what's
- 33:55Speaker 7: going on.
- 33:55Speaker 6: No, not at all. But so later that night he
- 33:58Speaker 6: called me and basically he came clean to me on
- 34:01Speaker 6: the phone. He broke down and he, and he told
- 34:03Speaker 6: me like, he's been very unhappy for many, many years.
- 34:05Speaker 6: And he apologized to me because he felt like he
- 34:08Speaker 6: was setting a terrible example. And he just, He just
- 34:10Speaker 6: was feeling really guilty. He was completely embarrassed, too, at
- 34:14Speaker 6: the same time. Obviously, I wasn't happy about it, and
- 34:16Speaker 6: I wasn't happy with him, and I told him that.
- 34:19Speaker 6: But I also was way more understanding than I thought
- 34:22Speaker 6: I would be because of the situation at home. Oh, okay.
- 34:27Speaker 6: But then what happened was my mom started getting suspicious.
- 34:30Speaker 6: She was, like, questioning where my dad had been that
- 34:33Speaker 6: one night. And somehow I got dragged into it. Call
- 34:36Speaker 6: it fate or whatnot. But she asked me something about
- 34:40Speaker 6: whether I was with him or not. And it just
- 34:43Speaker 6: came out of me. I automatically lied for him. Wow.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Really?
- 34:48Speaker 3: Man.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 1: You knew what was going on. You knew that your
- 34:51Speaker 1: dad was obviously doing something that was wrong. And you said, no, I,
- 34:56Speaker 1: I know I was with him that night. So I
- 34:57Speaker 1: don't know what you're talking about. Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 6: I told my mom that my dad had been with me.
- 35:03Speaker 6: And even though I knew he wasn't obviously, and my
- 35:06Speaker 6: sister still doesn't even know any of this. As far
- 35:08Speaker 6: as I know, the only two people who really know
- 35:11Speaker 6: I lied were, you know, are me and my dad.
- 35:14Speaker 6: So yeah, Um, eventually my dad told me that, uh,
- 35:18Speaker 6: he ended things with, with that woman. And, um, you know,
- 35:22Speaker 6: I genuinely thought that he was finally going to divorce
- 35:24Speaker 6: my mom at that point and just let her know.
- 35:26Speaker 1: That's what I was going to ask you. I was
- 35:28Speaker 1: going to ask you if they're still together, because if
- 35:29Speaker 1: you said a couple of years ago, did they end
- 35:31Speaker 1: up obviously splitting up or whatever, but they, they're, are
- 35:34Speaker 1: they still together? Yeah.
- 35:35Speaker 5: Well, this is what started happening.
- 35:36Speaker 6: This is even, it got even, you know, more awkward
- 35:39Speaker 6: because my mom, uh, unfortunately started having some really pretty bad,
- 35:44Speaker 6: serious health problems. And now I think my dad just
- 35:48Speaker 6: feels like trapped and all over again, or not really trapped,
- 35:52Speaker 6: but feels guilty if he were to leave her now. And,
- 35:56Speaker 6: you know, this is for a completely different reason. She
- 36:00Speaker 6: really doesn't have anyone else to take care of her.
- 36:02Speaker 6: And there's no way he's going to leave her while
- 36:05Speaker 6: she's sick.
- 36:06Speaker 1: So, Yeah, that's that's see, I don't think anybody should
- 36:11Speaker 1: be cheated on ever.
- 36:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I don't care how miserable they are, how they treat someone. Then,
- 36:16Speaker 1: you know, and I understand at the same time why
- 36:18Speaker 1: a guy would stay in a in a relationship.
- 36:20Speaker 7: For the kids. I think people do it a lot. Yeah,
- 36:23Speaker 7: I think women do it a lot.
- 36:24Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 7: I think it happens, but it just, it never ends well.
- 36:27Speaker 7: Never ends well.
- 36:28Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 11: You know, when I've watched somebody get treated like.
- 36:31Speaker 6: Absolute crap for years and you know the entire story
- 36:34Speaker 6: behind closed doors, you know, things don't always seem as
- 36:37Speaker 6: black and white as you think they're supposed to be.
- 36:39Speaker 5: So I can understand why he did what he did.
- 36:41Speaker 6: I just wish I never saw it or never got
- 36:45Speaker 6: in the middle.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Or put in the position of knowing any of it.
- 36:48Speaker 5: I really didn't.
- 36:49Speaker 6: It builds resentment with, with, with things. And now if
- 36:53Speaker 6: she ever found out, she'd be so mad at me.
- 36:55Speaker 1: You know, do you regret covering up for him?
- 36:57Speaker 6: I do.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 6: I mean, I, I, I, well, it's like, it's like
- 37:00Speaker 6: half and half. I don't because I love my father
- 37:03Speaker 6: and I'm looking out. I want to look out for
- 37:05Speaker 6: him and I want him to be happy, but I
- 37:07Speaker 6: do because I just feel like, you know, it's just
- 37:10Speaker 6: not fair to my mother to, to not know any
- 37:12Speaker 6: of this stuff. And, and just, so I, I, if you,
- 37:15Speaker 6: if I were to pick one, I would say, yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 6: I feel, I regret it.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Yeah. It's a big burden to carry.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Yes, it sure is.
- 37:22Speaker 6: Sure is.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I feel like after two, like if somebody's acting that
- 37:26Speaker 1: miserable and she's that upset and she just seems like
- 37:28Speaker 1: she's always disgruntled, usually there's a reason behind that.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I'm not saying she's right.
- 37:33Speaker 8: You have to address it though.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And maybe he tried. Maybe there was, you know, some
- 37:37Speaker 1: people are in a mental state that is just not
- 37:39Speaker 1: a good place. So they're acting out or they're acting
- 37:42Speaker 1: like that for a reason. And you got to get
- 37:43Speaker 1: to the real source of the problem.
- 37:45Speaker 3: You can't pick sides just based on the surface.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Yeah. But it is what it is now, and I
- 37:50Speaker 1: don't think you can feel too bad. It's not like
- 37:52Speaker 1: you're going to go back and tell your mom now
- 37:54Speaker 1: while she's dealing with health issues. And I hope she
- 37:56Speaker 1: gets better, and I hope it works out. But either way,
- 37:59Speaker 1: that's powerful. So thank you for your secret and your confession.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Thank you, guys.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I don't think I would. The more I think about it,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't think I would cover up for anyone who's cheating.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Even my own dad.
- 38:08Speaker 2: No.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I can't do it. I just, you know, because it's
- 38:11Speaker 1: never the right. First of all, as a father, you
- 38:13Speaker 1: should never put your kid in that position.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 38:15Speaker 7: That's the worst position to be in.
- 38:18Speaker 1: If you're a kid.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yep.
- 38:19Speaker 1: You love your parents. You don't want to know that.
- 38:23Speaker 9: No.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I know poo would cover up for people. Yeah, I would.
- 38:26Speaker 7: See, that's so weird to me.
- 38:28Speaker 9: I know.
- 38:28Speaker 1: If my mom was mean like that, I'm just, yeah. Yeah,
- 38:31Speaker 1: but your mom might be being quote unquote mean for
- 38:33Speaker 1: a reason. You don't know what's going on.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to deep dive into that.
- 38:36Speaker 7: Nobody deserves to be cheating. That's just my opinion.
- 38:38Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 38:39Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 38:39Speaker 7: You can always let us know on Instagram at Mix1029FM.
- 38:46Speaker 4: It's time for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 38:50Speaker 4: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Thou shall rise for the honorable judge. Candice Lopez.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Hey.
- 38:57Speaker 7: The Mesquite Mamacita.
- 39:00Speaker 1: The Whole Foods Hottie.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Hey, I like that one.
- 39:03Speaker 1: That's a new one.
- 39:04Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:05Speaker 7: The Town East.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Stop there.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Okay, yeah. All right, here we go. If you've got
- 39:11Speaker 1: some kind of problem you want Candice to help you
- 39:12Speaker 1: solve on Mix, let's make it happen. At Candice on
- 39:15Speaker 1: Air on Instagram. At Candice on Air. Now, this is
- 39:17Speaker 1: a good one. Hey, Candice, I need your help with something.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I've been dating this girl for about seven months. Things
- 39:22Speaker 1: were going great. Until I accidentally found out that she
- 39:25Speaker 1: used to have an OnlyFans.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Oh.
- 39:28Speaker 9: Yep.
- 39:29Speaker 1: He goes. I wasn't snooping through her phone or anything.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I just happened to notice the app. And when she
- 39:34Speaker 1: was showing me something. Okay.
- 39:37Speaker 7: So he saw it when he was just looking.
- 39:38Speaker 3: She was showing it.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Got it.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So he wasn't looking through her phone. I
- 39:42Speaker 1: think that's important. When I asked her about it, she
- 39:44Speaker 1: eventually admitted it. And she said she used to make
- 39:46Speaker 1: content before we met. I'm not going to lie. It
- 39:50Speaker 1: really bothered me. She said it was mostly, quote, almost
- 39:54Speaker 1: fully nude pictures and videos.
- 39:58Speaker 4: Oh.
- 39:59Speaker 1: But I didn't want any more details. I said, stop.
- 40:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Look, I'm no angel, and I know everyone has a past,
- 40:05Speaker 1: but I can't help looking at her differently now. And
- 40:09Speaker 1: the fact is that she never told me. Make it
- 40:13Speaker 1: even worse. Makes me think that she's hiding more stuff.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I told her I needed a break to figure out.
- 40:18Speaker 3: How I feel.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Oh, God. Oh.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Oh. Wow.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Hey, no influence from the jury, please. Sorry. Sorry, Judge.
- 40:26Speaker 1: And she keeps reassuring me that she's not that person anymore.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I really care about her, but I don't know if
- 40:33Speaker 1: I can get past knowing that stuff is probably still
- 40:37Speaker 1: out there for people to see. I haven't told my
- 40:40Speaker 1: friends or family because I'm honestly embarrassed. That's how and
- 40:44Speaker 1: why I'm asking y'all because I just don't know what
- 40:46Speaker 1: to do. Am I being unfair for judging her over
- 40:50Speaker 1: something she did before we even met?
- 40:52Speaker 7: Or is this a legitimate reason to end a relationship?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Please help.
- 40:57Speaker 7: OK, Candace, it's Candace Court for a reason.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Your initial thoughts.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just wondering why she did OnlyFans. You know
- 41:04Speaker 3: what I mean? Did she fall on hard times? Was
- 41:06Speaker 3: this easy money? Is she lazy? Well, yeah. Well, you
- 41:11Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 41:11Speaker 8: If she doesn't want to go out and work and
- 41:13Speaker 8: get a job and this is just what she's doing,
- 41:15Speaker 8: it's a different, you know, trait of a person that
- 41:19Speaker 8: you're dating.
- 41:19Speaker 1: So you look at it differently if somebody's like, hey, listen,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I got to raise a child. I got to do something.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I can't find a job.
- 41:25Speaker 8: So I can maybe understand it a little more, but
- 41:27Speaker 8: I do feel like.
- 41:28Speaker 3: It's out there forever.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:30Speaker 8: You know, it doesn't matter, you know, what it means
- 41:33Speaker 8: to her. It matters what it means to you.
- 41:34Speaker 3: And also, why does she still have the app on
- 41:37Speaker 3: her phone?
- 41:38Speaker 7: Well, you got some residuals coming in.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Is that how it works?
- 41:42Speaker 1: I genuinely don't know. Check your paper. I don't know,
- 41:44Speaker 1: but I'm sure there is.
- 41:45Speaker 3: She hasn't done this and this is part of her past.
- 41:47Speaker 3: I mean, I'd get rid of that app.
- 41:49Speaker 7: Well, yeah, I guess so. But sometimes people forget to
- 41:52Speaker 7: delete an app.
- 41:53Speaker 1: It's whatever. I have apps. OnlyFans, though? Well, no, I
- 41:55Speaker 1: don't have OnlyFans on my phone. I'm wondering if someone
- 41:58Speaker 1: else does in.
- 41:58Speaker 2: The room, though.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I don't have OnlyFans on my phone. I think this
- 42:02Speaker 1: dude is being— It's on my iPad. He's being way
- 42:05Speaker 1: too insecure. I mean, she told you she ain't doing
- 42:08Speaker 1: it no more. It's her past.
- 42:10Speaker 9: Like, he's worried about who has seen his girl. Well,
- 42:13Speaker 9: what if she didn't have an OnlyFans? There's probably been
- 42:16Speaker 9: some other guys that have seen your girl before she
- 42:18Speaker 9: was with you, bro.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Well, yeah, but that's different.
- 42:20Speaker 3: A handful or who knows how many. Not like the
- 42:22Speaker 3: whole internet.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it's not like the internet, but don't
- 42:26Speaker 1: block your blessing. Look. Block your blessing?
- 42:28Speaker 9: Yeah, who's blessing? Seven months have been good up until
- 42:32Speaker 9: this point. So why are you tripping?
- 42:34Speaker 3: But that's how relationships go. You learn new stuff about
- 42:37Speaker 3: people and you're like, huh.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And honestly, I don't want surprises.
- 42:41Speaker 7: I hate surprises. And this is one of the surprises
- 42:43Speaker 7: I would hate.
- 42:44Speaker 6: Right.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Can you just tell me before we get into this
- 42:47Speaker 1: that you used to do this? And then I can,
- 42:49Speaker 1: you know, decide for myself whether it's something I can
- 42:51Speaker 1: move past or I can't move past. I mean, I
- 42:54Speaker 1: genuinely think I could move past it. I don't think
- 42:57Speaker 1: Pooh could. I think that he thinks he could. Oh,
- 42:59Speaker 1: I could. I don't know.
- 43:01Speaker 7: Maybe he could.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Maybe he couldn't.
- 43:02Speaker 9: But the old me, probably not. But the new me,
- 43:05Speaker 9: I don't care about the new me.
- 43:06Speaker 1: The new me. Yeah. Brand new me.
- 43:08Speaker 9: Plus, if she did OnlyFans and she looks halfway decent,
- 43:11Speaker 9: she probably sitting on some money.
- 43:13Speaker 1: So you think that matters.
- 43:15Speaker 3: But money's not everything.
- 43:16Speaker 1: It's not everything. Says the people who don't have none. Yeah,
- 43:20Speaker 1: it is everything. It's not. I'm telling you right now.
- 43:23Speaker 1: He's true. And then he says, I need a break.
- 43:25Speaker 7: Well, then date an adult entertainer.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Huh?
- 43:27Speaker 7: Don't go date.
- 43:28Speaker 1: If you're if you're worried about money, you want to
- 43:30Speaker 1: make you really care about a woman.
- 43:32Speaker 7: You want a woman to take care of you.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Is that what you want? it'd be nice for a change.
- 43:36Speaker 1: But Pooh, why can't you.
- 43:37Speaker 7: You always say this, I'm like, why can't you just
- 43:39Speaker 7: find someone that you're happy with?
- 43:40Speaker 3: Yeah, or an equal.
- 43:41Speaker 1: An equal. You don't need to look for some sugar
- 43:45Speaker 1: mama who's going to save you. Find someone you're going
- 43:47Speaker 1: to be genuinely happy with. Money is never going to
- 43:50Speaker 1: be there, going to be the end all be all
- 43:51Speaker 1: to things. It won't be. Even if you have money.
- 43:54Speaker 1: You realize that, oh, wow, it didn't fix everything.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Now what?
- 43:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 43:58Speaker 9: First of all, let me have money and then I'll
- 44:01Speaker 9: make that decision.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you for someone.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Well, is it life-changing money or is it just comfortable money?
- 44:06Speaker 1: If my money can't buy you love, well, let me
- 44:09Speaker 1: find out for myself. Okay, you will. Ask anybody.
- 44:12Speaker 7: I've been broke as can be and I've had money.
- 44:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you the days you'll look back on are
- 44:18Speaker 1: the days where, You had nothing and you just genuinely
- 44:21Speaker 1: were happy.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Because of whatever reason. So I don't know if I
- 44:25Speaker 1: could date. I know I couldn't date an OnlyFans model.
- 44:28Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Who's like currently active on the platform.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Definitely not. You could.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:33Speaker 9: So if I was dating, let me just ask you,
- 44:36Speaker 9: if I was dating a girl and she was on
- 44:37Speaker 9: OnlyFans and I told y'all she was on OnlyFans, would.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Y'all look at me different? I wouldn't judge her at all.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I'm not judging. No, no, no. It's not for me.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't judge you for dating her. You do whatever
- 44:46Speaker 1: you want to do that makes you happy. I don't
- 44:47Speaker 1: care what you do.
- 44:48Speaker 8: If she makes you happy and you guys work well
- 44:50Speaker 8: together and that's a non-issue in your relationship, go on.
- 44:53Speaker 6: Who cares?
- 44:54Speaker 1: Now, if you start dating her and then complain that
- 44:56Speaker 1: she's doing it, I'm going to make fun of you.
- 44:59Speaker 1: If you're insecure about it, if you accept this fact
- 45:02Speaker 1: and then you just go on and you're miserable and
- 45:03Speaker 1: you're like... I don't know if I like this anymore.
- 45:06Speaker 7: No, that's what she was doing when you met her.
- 45:07Speaker 7: I don't want to hear about it.
- 45:08Speaker 8: Yeah, you just have to be prepared for this stuff
- 45:10Speaker 8: to come back around. You never know where she's going
- 45:12Speaker 8: to run into somebody who she's interacted with on there.
- 45:15Speaker 1: All of a sudden, you're like, wait, oh, I'm one
- 45:17Speaker 1: of your VIP subscribers.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Having fans in general in life is weird.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 45:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 45:24Speaker 7: Especially if you've seen that kind of stuff.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:28Speaker 7: It's just not for me.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 45:29Speaker 1: It's not for me. I dated girls who were strippers
- 45:33Speaker 1: in the past, so. You mean adult entertainers? Adult entertainers.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Sorry about that.
- 45:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 45:36Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Yeah, they worked at the, yeah. Put some respect on it. Yeah, exactly.
- 45:41Speaker 1: All right. Well, you did, and you didn't mind it. Yeah,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I didn't mind it. I couldn't do that. Did they
- 45:45Speaker 1: have a lot of money? Oh, yeah. How'd that work out?
- 45:47Speaker 1: It was okay. I'll wait. It didn't last.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Why?
- 45:52Speaker 1: Huh?
- 45:53Speaker 6: Why?
- 45:53Speaker 1: Well, no, it was mainly me.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Because I couldn't take her seriously. I was like, eh,
- 45:57Speaker 1: she out there. Doing her thing. I'm like, no. You
- 46:00Speaker 1: couldn't take her seriously.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I think it was the other way. I don't think
- 46:02Speaker 1: she was like, I'm sick of taking care of someone
- 46:04Speaker 1: who can't take care of themselves. Wholeheartedly, I was cheating
- 46:07Speaker 1: on them. I swear, I was.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Oh.
- 46:10Speaker 1: I couldn't take her seriously. I was like, yeah, she
- 46:12Speaker 1: works there. You couldn't take her seriously, so you cheated
- 46:15Speaker 1: on her. Yeah, it was my bad, yeah. That's not
- 46:17Speaker 1: toxic at all. Yeah, you know, I was bad back
- 46:21Speaker 1: in the day.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Would you get an OnlyFans model seriously?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I could. I could. I just want to get
- 46:26Speaker 1: in Pooh's brain sometimes and try to break it down
- 46:28Speaker 1: because I just don't get it. Sometimes that math don't
- 46:30Speaker 1: be mathed. No, the math does not math. I need
- 46:34Speaker 1: an extra strong calculator to figure it out. That I
- 46:37Speaker 1: don't have it. So, you know what, Candace Lopez? Who
- 46:39Speaker 1: cares what Pooh thinks? Who cares what I think? It's
- 46:41Speaker 1: Candace Court. Yeah, it is.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Either way, look, she's guilty of being a past tense patty.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Oh!
- 46:46Speaker 3: Because she didn't bring this up. And she also has.
- 46:49Speaker 8: The app still on her phone. Like, that makes me
- 46:52Speaker 8: wonder more.
- 46:52Speaker 1: You don't like that.
- 46:53Speaker 3: No, I don't like that at all.
- 46:54Speaker 7: You think she's still selling to pigs.
- 46:56Speaker 3: I think she is. Watch yourself.
- 46:58Speaker 7: I think she's doing a BOGO every once.
- 47:00Speaker 2: In a while.
- 47:01Speaker 4: This is Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the
- 47:04Speaker 4: Kid in the morning.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Got a chance to go to Disneyland. Coming up next,
- 47:09Speaker 1: if you want to have that iHeartRadio app open and ready,
- 47:12Speaker 1: we do it on the 10s. Make sure you do that, okay?
- 47:14Speaker 1: I want you to win this trip.
- 47:15Speaker 7: Candace Lopez, what is going on?
- 47:17Speaker 8: Well, a Gordita vendor is being called a hero after
- 47:20Speaker 8: acting quickly to report that electrical fire at the State
- 47:22Speaker 8: Fair of Texas yesterday. So she's been a vendor for
- 47:25Speaker 8: 30 years. She was prepping her stand when she noticed...
- 47:28Speaker 8: This fire right there, you know, where all the prizing
- 47:31Speaker 8: is on the midway.
- 47:32Speaker 3: So it's Lupita's Gordita's.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I love it.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:35Speaker 8: So she called 911, said Dallas Fire Rescue was very
- 47:39Speaker 8: quick to respond, but she says she's not a hero.
- 47:42Speaker 8: She was just in the right place at the right time.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Thankfully, no one was injured.
- 47:46Speaker 8: The fair was able to open on time yesterday, but
- 47:49Speaker 8: some of those prizes, you know, were lost there at
- 47:51Speaker 8: some of those games.
- 47:52Speaker 7: Was it Lupita herself?
- 47:53Speaker 4: Yes.
- 47:54Speaker 2: It was.
- 47:55Speaker 1: That's a hero. Lupita, thank you for your service, Lupita.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 47:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Go get a Lupita Gordita because guess what? She saved
- 48:02Speaker 1: Big Tex.
- 48:03Speaker 3: She did.
- 48:03Speaker 1: His tighty-whities would have been on fire once again. But
- 48:07Speaker 1: she saved the fair. So thank you, Lupita.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Yeah, she called.
- 48:10Speaker 8: She was videoing, you know, just to make sure so
- 48:12Speaker 8: they could investigate. But, yeah, I love that the state
- 48:15Speaker 8: fair did play along with Big Tex posting, you know.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Big Tex Mark safe yesterday.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Thank God.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Thanks to Lupita.
- 48:22Speaker 8: Guys, Starbucks is looking forward to the holidays, already announcing
- 48:25Speaker 8: when their seasonal menu will launch.
- 48:28Speaker 3: That date is November 5th.
- 48:30Speaker 8: They say they are bringing back the peppermint mocha as
- 48:33Speaker 8: well as the caramel brulee latte. They're also going to
- 48:36Speaker 8: release new barista cake pops. Of course, the barista cup
- 48:39Speaker 8: was a big deal last year or a couple years ago.
- 48:42Speaker 8: Festive merchandise also comes out that same day, and then
- 48:44Speaker 8: they'll have another winter collection.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Later in the month. But, yeah, I don't know what
- 48:49Speaker 3: time of year they usually announce this.
- 48:51Speaker 1: It feels right. really early.
- 48:52Speaker 8: It does feel early, but they were going viral for
- 48:55Speaker 8: that lawsuit against their protein drinks or whatever. I guess
- 48:59Speaker 8: they were saying they were zero sugar and it was
- 49:01Speaker 8: a whole thing.
- 49:02Speaker 3: But so maybe this is just kind of like push
- 49:05Speaker 3: that aside.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Okay. You know what's crazy to me is that there's
- 49:08Speaker 1: people decorating already for Christmas.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Well, the gallery is putting up their lights.
- 49:12Speaker 8: I know those take like weeks to put all the
- 49:14Speaker 8: red lights in those trees.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Let me check the freezer real quick to see if
- 49:17Speaker 1: she's still. Oh, no, she's getting ready. There she is.
- 49:21Speaker 3: No, please don't.
- 49:22Speaker 1: She's getting ready.
- 49:23Speaker 3: It's not even Halloween yet.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Mariah's almost unfrozen.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Chill a little longer.
- 49:28Speaker 7: We're thawing her out right now.
- 49:30Speaker 1: There, Mariah, no.
- 49:34Speaker 8: Miley Cyrus' new album just made history, not in the
- 49:37Speaker 8: way she probably wanted. Her new album, Bass Persuades, debuted
- 49:41Speaker 8: at number one last.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Week, and in its.
- 49:43Speaker 8: Second week had the biggest drop for an album going
- 49:46Speaker 8: from number one to.
- 49:48Speaker 3: One fifty seven.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Dang.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if it has anything to.
- 49:53Speaker 8: Do with the new Taylor music that came out. Of course,
- 49:56Speaker 8: Taylor released her album last week. So, you know, we'll
- 49:59Speaker 8: see what happens. You know, Miley's going to be headlining
- 50:01Speaker 8: these shows at the Hollywood Bowl here in just a
- 50:03Speaker 8: few weeks.
- 50:03Speaker 3: They were selling out super quick.
- 50:05Speaker 7: Yeah, there was like a million requests for tickets.
- 50:07Speaker 3: So, yeah, people were stoked about it.
- 50:08Speaker 1: I mean, good for her. She still had a number
- 50:10Speaker 1: one album. Taylor does affect things like people will move
- 50:13Speaker 1: their release dates. Away from Taylor Swift, like away from
- 50:17Speaker 1: weeks away because they know it affects every sale of music.
- 50:22Speaker 1: So they're like, yeah, just get me away from that.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'll actually just wait till the next quarter. Yeah. Like
- 50:26Speaker 1: imagine being that powerful.
- 50:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Like Taylor Swift.
- 50:29Speaker 7: That's it's incredible.
- 50:30Speaker 3: You got to think ahead when you're doing that stuff
- 50:32Speaker 3: for sure.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:32Speaker 8: I'm Candace Lopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 50:35Speaker 2: The new Mix 102.9. I apologize a million times.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Miss Jackson.
- 50:41Speaker 3: I am gone.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Oh, that's a hot take.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Let us know what you think.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Here's today's hot take.
- 50:50Speaker 7: Mix 102.9, Billy the Kid, Candace Lopez.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Producer Pooh. Hot take. I'm going to go through a
- 50:53Speaker 1: list of new dating trends. I want you to tell
- 50:55Speaker 1: me hot or not. Do you think this is something good?
- 50:57Speaker 1: This is something bad? This is something maybe that you
- 50:59Speaker 1: should think about? I know, Candace, listen, if you're not single...
- 51:03Speaker 1: Just be happy and thankful that when you hear all
- 51:05Speaker 1: this stuff, you go, oh, at least I don't have
- 51:07Speaker 1: to deal with that crap.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Right.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Because I'm going to tell you what, it's weird. There's
- 51:11Speaker 1: some weirdness out here when it comes to.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the case.
- 51:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, Pooh, you know, Pooh, listen, it sucks.
- 51:17Speaker 7: I might just be forever single.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Do it it's.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Rough out there love i don't want to do these
- 51:22Speaker 1: dating trends right okay have you ever been shrek'd.
- 51:25Speaker 9: What is shrek dog okay so.
- 51:28Speaker 1: This can't be good some of these are not very
- 51:31Speaker 1: good things that i think as far as dating trends
- 51:34Speaker 1: go shrekking means dating someone you consider less attractive because
- 51:38Speaker 1: they'll appreciate you more oh god Are people really doing this?
- 51:45Speaker 3: I hope not.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I mean, and be honest, ladies, are you Shrek-ing?
- 51:48Speaker 3: I mean, how someone looks doesn't tell you how they're
- 51:51Speaker 3: going to treat you.
- 51:52Speaker 1: No. Yeah, but I think I've been Shrek-ed before.
- 51:55Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I think I have.
- 51:57Speaker 3: You have?
- 51:58Speaker 1: Were you the Shrek or were you Shrek-ing? Yeah, I
- 52:00Speaker 1: was the Shrek-ed. Oh, no, really? You were the Shrek-ed.
- 52:03Speaker 9: Yeah, because this girl, she didn't really tell me I
- 52:06Speaker 9: look nice. She just said, you have a big personality.
- 52:09Speaker 9: I love your personality.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Well, that's a good thing. That doesn't mean they're ugly. Yeah,
- 52:13Speaker 1: but she never complimented my looks. Now, I will say
- 52:17Speaker 1: some men need that. Sometimes it's good as a man
- 52:20Speaker 1: to just hear like.
- 52:21Speaker 3: To hear that someone likes your personality?
- 52:22Speaker 1: No, no, no. Somebody looks like, you know, I look
- 52:26Speaker 1: good or something like that.
- 52:27Speaker 7: You know, someone like guys need compliments too is what
- 52:29Speaker 7: I'm saying.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, for sure. Everyone does.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Yeah, like, hey, you look good today.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:33Speaker 7: Hey, babe, you look hot today.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I think women need it, but, you know, I mean,
- 52:37Speaker 1: everybody needs it.
- 52:38Speaker 8: Yeah, everybody needs it, for sure.
- 52:40Speaker 7: But it just feels bad.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Don't shrek people.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Don't shrek people.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:43Speaker 1: But I will say that we've definitely had, you know,
- 52:46Speaker 1: people call in before and say that they've dated lower
- 52:51Speaker 1: than what.
- 52:51Speaker 3: They think they can get.
- 52:52Speaker 9: Down.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Dating down.
- 52:53Speaker 7: Down because they know that the.
- 52:55Speaker 1: The person won't leave. The ugly guys work harder.
- 52:59Speaker 6: Oh.
- 52:59Speaker 1: That's what one girl said. Wow. Yeah. So.
- 53:03Speaker 7: Here's another one. You want another trend?
- 53:05Speaker 1: Frankensteining.
- 53:06Speaker 3: What is that?
- 53:09Speaker 1: It's an attempt to mold a romantic partner, their looks
- 53:13Speaker 1: or their personality to bring them up to a desired standard.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Like, you're piecing it together.
- 53:19Speaker 1: We're trying to mold somebody. I mean, we had a
- 53:21Speaker 1: dirty little secret like this that actually went viral online.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 53:25Speaker 1: And you can go see it at Mix 1029 FM.
- 53:26Speaker 3: But he was getting her on GLP-1s and stuff like that.
- 53:29Speaker 1: This guy was literally encouraging her. And he says that
- 53:33Speaker 1: she wanted to and she liked it and she changed
- 53:35Speaker 1: for the better. But he... Basically admitted to us that
- 53:37Speaker 1: he found a six and made her a nine. Right.
- 53:39Speaker 3: He rebuilt her.
- 53:40Speaker 1: He's like a sheep. Whatever. She got passionate about GLP-1s
- 53:45Speaker 1: and she got passionate about peptides and now she went
- 53:48Speaker 1: from a six to a nine. And I'm in heaven.
- 53:49Speaker 3: He called her a fixer-upper. Oh, that's enough.
- 53:53Speaker 1: That was where I drew the line.
- 53:54Speaker 6: Same.
- 53:54Speaker 1: But you should, there's thousands of comments on that dirty
- 53:57Speaker 1: little secret. People still comment about it and saying that,
- 53:59Speaker 1: you know, I mean, one guy said, bro, smart buying
- 54:02Speaker 1: the dip. The comments are great. People arguing in the comments. Okay.
- 54:10Speaker 7: Let's go over another trick. Clear coding.
- 54:12Speaker 1: What's it? Clear coding is when a person shows up
- 54:15Speaker 1: on the first day with a checklist of desired traits,
- 54:18Speaker 1: which is also called dating with intention.
- 54:21Speaker 7: Now, do you think that's a good thing or.
- 54:22Speaker 1: A bad thing?
- 54:23Speaker 3: Showing up with a list?
- 54:24Speaker 6: Right.
- 54:25Speaker 7: I mean, not per se a list necessarily, and you're
- 54:27Speaker 7: going to go over the list.
- 54:28Speaker 3: In their mind.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Well, I heard one girl went viral because she did it.
- 54:31Speaker 1: She's like, let's just go through this checklist, each other's
- 54:34Speaker 1: checklist right away, because let's not waste each other's time.
- 54:37Speaker 1: She was basically like, let's see if you have this,
- 54:39Speaker 1: what I need, and do you have what I need?
- 54:40Speaker 1: If not, no second date.
- 54:42Speaker 8: Yeah, well, she just probably got to a point in
- 54:43Speaker 8: her life where she was like, it's not worth my time,
- 54:46Speaker 8: you know?
- 54:46Speaker 7: But doesn't that seem a little too systematic?
- 54:50Speaker 3: It does. But maybe she'll find success.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Isn't that the point of dating, though? The point of
- 54:54Speaker 1: dating is to get to know someone. Some of the
- 54:57Speaker 1: deal breakers right up front you want to know, but
- 54:59Speaker 1: if you have that many deal breakers.
- 55:01Speaker 8: Sounds like she's got a timeline.
- 55:03Speaker 7: But see, that's the thing.
- 55:03Speaker 1: People literally meet on dating apps. They'll meet on Hinge,
- 55:08Speaker 1: and they won't even talk, and they'll just meet and
- 55:09Speaker 1: expect to know each other. Well, you don't know each other.
- 55:12Speaker 1: That's the whole point of dating.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Okay, friend fluence. That's another dating trend. Friend fluence.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:19Speaker 1: What is that?
- 55:19Speaker 7: Is bringing friends along to help assess the prospect.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 55:25Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 55:25Speaker 3: On a date, though?
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, on a date?
- 55:28Speaker 7: Yeah, bringing friends around on a date.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Is the other person bringing friends, too?
- 55:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 55:33Speaker 8: Is this like a group date?
- 55:34Speaker 1: You could, if you want.
- 55:35Speaker 3: I mean, it always helps to have your friends around.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, we just don't call that a hang session. Yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 1: You're just hanging out.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Benching is another trend.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:44Speaker 1: People have been doing this for years. It means keeping
- 55:46Speaker 1: a backup romantic partner on the bench just in case.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Oh, jeez.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I got my starting line up.
- 55:52Speaker 3: I see.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 55:53Speaker 3: In your B team?
- 55:54Speaker 1: Wander love instead of wander lust is a vacation romance,
- 55:59Speaker 1: which is known to lead to love because vacationers think
- 56:01Speaker 1: they'll never see this person again, and they can behave
- 56:04Speaker 1: more like themselves. So you go on vacation, you meet someone,
- 56:08Speaker 1: you just act completely like yourself, good, bad, whatever. I'm
- 56:11Speaker 1: not going to put on a front because I'll never
- 56:12Speaker 1: see you again.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 1: And they say some people end up falling in love
- 56:15Speaker 1: because they love that the person's so real.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Why don't they just do that every date?
- 56:19Speaker 6: Right.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Just do that in real life.
- 56:21Speaker 6: Be real.
- 56:21Speaker 1: How about just being you?
- 56:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 1: But you know what I was shocked at in this story?
- 56:25Speaker 1: The same thing goes around. It talks about how much
- 56:27Speaker 1: the average day costs. Mm-hmm. You wouldn't believe how much
- 56:30Speaker 1: the average date cost in 2026. Just take a guess, Candace.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I mean, you have been together with Eric for a
- 56:36Speaker 1: long time.
- 56:37Speaker 3: But if you had to guess, the.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Average date cost what?
- 56:41Speaker 3: A hundred bucks.
- 56:43Speaker 6: Nope.
- 56:44Speaker 2: What?
- 56:44Speaker 1: Producer Poo. Okay, I'm going to say like 120, 130?
- 56:47Speaker 6: Nope.
- 56:47Speaker 1: The average date, they say, costs $ 225.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Oh!
- 56:48Speaker 1: $ 225. Yes. And that's why they say that people aren't
- 57:03Speaker 1: dating anymore. Girl, you better get down with this Groupon. Yeah. No,
- 57:06Speaker 1: they say guys don't want to date anymore. And they
- 57:08Speaker 1: say girls don't want to split the tab.
- 57:11Speaker 7: The trend right now is women do not want to
- 57:13Speaker 7: split the tab.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Wow.
- 57:14Speaker 1: One woman I saw in the story, she said, I'm
- 57:16Speaker 1: not going to get all dressed up, put on makeup
- 57:19Speaker 1: to go split a coffee. Okay.
- 57:23Speaker 8: I mean, a coffee's one thing, but a $ 200- whatever dinner?
- 57:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Nope.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Not even reaching for their wallet.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Wow.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Where are y'all going? I mean, I think the problem is,
- 57:32Speaker 1: is everything's so expensive. That's why so many people are like,
- 57:34Speaker 1: it's too expensive to date.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 3: We'll go on a coffee date.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Yeah. And I think that's cool.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:40Speaker 1: But a lot of guys are like, I don't want
- 57:41Speaker 1: to go spend.
- 57:42Speaker 7: I can't go on three or four dates a month.
- 57:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I can't afford it.
- 57:45Speaker 3: You can if they're coffee dates.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Yeah. I can't take you to Monarch. We're going to Chili's.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Two for $ 20. Let's go. Let's go. You know what, Pooh?
- 57:53Speaker 1: I'll date you. Okay, I've always thought to myself, is
- 57:57Speaker 1: this such a myth or is it something that really happens?
- 58:00Speaker 7: Because what is like something that I think at least.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Candace says this is on my hates list, and I
- 58:05Speaker 1: can't believe that because I do have a hates list
- 58:06Speaker 1: going on for years now. Yeah, oh yeah.
- 58:08Speaker 7: Leftovers is on my hates list?
- 58:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:10Speaker 3: It was one of the first things we put on there.
- 58:13Speaker 7: Why did I say I hated leftovers?
- 58:15Speaker 3: Because you do.
- 58:16Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 58:16Speaker 3: As far as I know.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I don't hate, but can you take that off?
- 58:18Speaker 8: You used to.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take it off.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I know I do. I don't like leftovers. Why do
- 58:21Speaker 1: you hate leftovers? But here's one thing that I was
- 58:23Speaker 1: saying because science just backed this up is... Leftovers, to me,
- 58:26Speaker 1: there's certain foods that just always taste better when they're leftover.
- 58:30Speaker 6: Yeah. Always.
- 58:31Speaker 7: Like, there's some foods I will order just to eat
- 58:33Speaker 7: the next day as leftovers.
- 58:34Speaker 6: Really?
- 58:35Speaker 1: Like what? Like Chinese food.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I don't care what anybody says. Chinese food, to me,
- 58:40Speaker 1: tastes better the next day. Okay. Chili.
- 58:43Speaker 3: A hundred percent.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Always.
- 58:44Speaker 8: I was actually going to say that, but I didn't
- 58:45Speaker 8: want to get made fun of. But my chili even
- 58:47Speaker 8: tastes better on the second day, if there's any left,
- 58:50Speaker 8: because there's usually not any left.
- 58:53Speaker 7: Because you never make enough of anything, Candace.
- 58:55Speaker 3: I do make enough for my family.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Your chili lasts two days?
- 58:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:00Speaker 7: Because she makes one bowl for the family and everybody
- 59:02Speaker 7: splits it.
- 59:03Speaker 3: I make one crock pot.
- 59:04Speaker 1: You just don't eat like Pooh and I eat. And
- 59:06Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
- 59:08Speaker 3: You're right.
- 59:08Speaker 1: We have a big back to back. I shouldn't.
- 59:10Speaker 2: No.
- 59:11Speaker 7: Yeah, but your family doesn't either. You will literally make
- 59:14Speaker 7: one pound.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Of meat for three, four people. And that's normal.
- 59:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:18Speaker 8: No, it's exactly what we need.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Look at us.
- 59:22Speaker 7: We could eat a pound of meat alone right now.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah. Yes, we could.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Really?
- 59:26Speaker 1: Do you proportion? You must proportion it out for like, Enzo,
- 59:30Speaker 1: you're going to have this. Eric is going to have this.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Well, I know like how many scoops full of chili
- 59:35Speaker 3: each of them are going to eat.
- 59:36Speaker 1: You are treading on thin ice because I'm telling you
- 59:38Speaker 1: the one thing Candace will get mad about is if
- 59:40Speaker 1: you make fun of her chili.
- 59:41Speaker 3: I've gotten mad about it for the last couple of years.
- 59:43Speaker 3: I'm not mad about it anymore. This is a new year,
- 59:46Speaker 3: new me.
- 59:46Speaker 6: Oh.
- 59:47Speaker 3: This fall, I don't care if you hate my chili.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Oh.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Don't care.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Oh. Yay.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Yep, because I like it and my family likes it.
- 59:53Speaker 7: Boy, are you going to make us some, though, or no?
- 59:55Speaker 3: No, why would I make it for you if you
- 59:56Speaker 3: guys don't like it?
- 59:57Speaker 1: First of all, I never said I hated your chili.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I just said it had a lot of beans.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Triple bean.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: I know, but we don't need triple beans. Texas chili,
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: to me, doesn't.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Even have beans.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: I'd like to add the fiber. Everybody needs fiber.
- 1:00:08Speaker 9: I'm not mad at beans. I like beans, so don't
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: get mad at me. But real chili don't have beans.
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: Yeah, don't you have ranch-style beans? I know it doesn't, Pooh,
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: but if you can add fiber somewhere.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Add it.
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: But do you put any seasonings in? Yeah, of course
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: I do.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: What seasonings?
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: All the seasonings.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Like five of them.
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: When you broke it down in the video, I saw
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: a little bit of salt.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Salt, pepper, chili powder.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: If you've never seen that video, give me a minute
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of me and Pooh trying Candace's chili for the first
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: time ever.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: We got it live on a video. I'm going to
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: repost it. Give me a couple minutes.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: But you can find it at Billy on the radio.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: And our reactions just are very genuine. And Pooh's reaction
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: was maybe the best reaction I've ever seen.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: I didn't warm it up enough in the microwave.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: No, I didn't think it was bad at all, though.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't about the warming. No. It wasn't about
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the warming.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: But your chili is better, Pooh. Make it. I love
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: your chili.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Oh, reverse psychology right there. But new research reveals that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: leftovers really do taste better the next day.
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: Certain dishes better than others.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: So... Okay. And they tested it. And I think this
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: kind of stuff is so fascinating. So they tested certain
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: dishes on people. Here's two dishes. I'm not going to
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: tell you which one was the leftovers. You tell me
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: same dish. One's leftover, one's not. And you tell me
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: which one tastes better. Certain dishes. First of all, this
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: dish I think is so good. Butter chicken to me
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: is one of the best things ever. You like butter chicken, Pooh? Yes.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Butter chicken. Hello, it's chicken. The leftovers were the clear winner.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Almost everybody who had to pick between butter chicken leftover
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and just butter chicken made fresh.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: The leftovers to them. Everyone picked the leftovers.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Same with spaghetti, I think.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: See, now when they tested lasagna, because I thought that
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: was one that to me, it was a tie.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: Basically, nobody could tell the difference.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: People could tell the difference between chili. They said they
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: did definitely notice the chili. The leftovers was picked. What
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: else did they test? What about pizza? Is pizza on there? No, no.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: It's got to be better fresh. I like leftover pizza sometimes. See,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I like it cold, though.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't mind it cold.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I love cold pizza. Like, I would rather have cold
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: pizza than warm pizza.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Oh, no. I'd rather have warm.
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: Fresh.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: No, I need that cheese hot where I'm... What would
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you rather have, Pooh? Would you rather have Candace's chili
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: warm or cold?
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: Jeez.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: You're stupid.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: We're getting ready.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Today.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: At 11 o'clock, we reveal the big reveal. Pooh's brand
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: new car from Grapevine Honda. And I'm giving you a
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: heads up because it's going to be super exciting. Candice
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: is excited. I'm excited.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I can't wait.
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: You know, the thing is, Pooh doesn't seem as excited.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Oh, I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm just, you know, I'm
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: leery about things sometimes.
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: That's unfair.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: It's unfair to us. Well, because you set that standard.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? You prank me all the time.
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: You think there's some kind of catch.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I think there's some kind of catch.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: It's not a prank, though.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: It's not a prank. I believe I'm getting a car.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Thanks to Grapevine Honda and you. Now, I know you're legit. Yeah.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Well, we're making it happen, and we.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Work very hard. Everybody online is putting thoughts in my head. Well,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: we're going to stream it live from Grapevine Honda at
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: 11 o'clock, the big reveal. So you will not want
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: to miss that at Mix 1029 FM.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: Will there be a surprise?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: Will you like it?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I will.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: Texas Top Stories on the 10s with Billy the Kid
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: in the morning.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Only on the new Mix 102.9.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Got a chance to go to Disneyland. Coming up next,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: get that iHeartRadio app ready. We do it on the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: 10s all day. A little vacation on us. Make that happen.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Candace Lopez, what is going on over there?
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: Well, if you've been waiting for your chance to be
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: on Landman, they are now casting extras again for filming
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: in Fort Worth. I think they're actually filming today, but
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: they do need extras Friday and Monday. So this is
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: going to pay $ 150 to $ 200 for around 12 hours
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: of work.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: That's a long day for $ 100. It is a long day.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: And your husband's an actor. Yeah. He's not an extra.
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: No, he's not an extra by any means. But I'm
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: saying that's what.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: Is that how you start off in the business, though?
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: I mean, you can. Some people do.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: Just to get your eyes on the set and how
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: production works. There's a lot more that goes into it
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: than people realize. But, yeah, I mean, some people start
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: that way.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: That's a long day.
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: It is, yeah.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: So here's what they need this time. They're looking for
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: college students, an elderly Latino man.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Just one, I guess.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Just one.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Latino party guests.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: That could be you.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: That could totally be me. Yeah. Museum guides and museum security.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: Who and I want to be museum security?
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: So if you're listening... Yeah. We can come out there.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: We can dress up, do what we can, get on
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the segways. We could be absolutely, we would be great security.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: With a flashlight? Yeah, I could do that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Zoom around.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: We couldn't be serious on a set for 12 hours.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: We'd get kicked off.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: But you guys can apply online.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: It's my casting call. You set up an account there.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: That's how you get involved with that.
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: One of our friends has a daughter who's been an
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: extra multiple times, and she keeps getting more gigs.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: And it's awesome. She's learning about the business and what
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: she wants to do in it.
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: No, I think that's smart to do.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I mean, listen, I'm not saying that if you're going to,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it's not about the pay if it's an opportunity.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Where else can you get on the set like that?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Good luck, guys.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: Reese's peanut butter pumpkins now come with a new disclaimer.
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: They now say carving not.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: On actual product.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: This replaces the old one that says decorating suggestion. Of course,
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: this is, you know, that group who sued Hershey's because
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: they said it was deceptive advertising that their Reese's pumpkins
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: didn't have faces like.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: The packages show.
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: That case was thrown out twice now. So I feel
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: like that Hershey's is doing this because of the appeal
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: that keeps continuing to go to court.
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: Who's out here just suing people for ridiculous stuff?
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was a group of people in Florida.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Doesn't that seem a little bit crazy? Like there's so
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: many other things that I feel like we could be doing.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: You're mad at Hershey's because the little chocolate pumpkins didn't
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: have faces on them, like it said on the package.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I'm not buying them for the faces. They're good. They're Reese's.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: If you're a judge, you're like, OK, how did that
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: affect your life?
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: I know you can't false advertise, but I mean, there's
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: levels to this.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, exactly.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: Real quick, guys, a new study finds that for the
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: first time in years, more U.S. households are bringing home
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: kittens than puppies. And they're saying it's not just that
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: cat ownership is truly on the rise, but that dog
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: ownership is actually going down.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: So since 2019, the number of households.
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: With dogs has gone down while cat ownership is staying steady.
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: But the biggest reason they're saying is the cost to
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: have a dog.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I mean, cats pretty much have part-time jobs. They can
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: work and survive on their own. They don't need you. No.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: They don't need you at all.
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: The average dog owner, they say, spends around $ 1, 300 a year.
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: It's about half that for the cat owners. So it
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: makes sense.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: Cats are low maintenance.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I had a cat once. Yeah, it was tough. I
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: adopted this cat named Sam, a black cat, and I
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: thought he was going to be just my best buddy.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: And he kept me up all night. He was screaming
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: for no reason. It was just a lot. And I
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: lived in an apartment at the time, and finally.
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: Somebody's like, I love Sam. I'll take Sam.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, good. Take him. Take him now. Yeah.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: And he roamed around on a farm the rest of
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: his life. And that's what he wanted.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Yeah you know he's been built for an.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Apartment he wasn't built for an apartment i tried but
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: at least i rescued him and he didn't get you
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: know yeah that yes he didn't get for you yeah
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: i think poo needs a cat no i don't need
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: a cat yeah no not a little.
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: Buddy no you can have you know cats get on
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: my nerve i can't do it oh come on no
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: don't be that guy no i can't he doesn't like
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: people with.
- 1:07:41Speaker 7: Cats if you're listening you have a cat poo will not.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Eat your food yeah yeah i I don't trust you
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: at all. That's crazy.
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: So many cat people are offended by this every time.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: They hear it.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I understand that. Not all cat people let their cat
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: on the counter. But the majority of them do. They'd
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: be making cookies and stuff. Our boss, Zan, Big Steve,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: does not get on the counter.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Well, he can't jump up.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: He would if he could.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I think he could. Don't talk about Steve like that.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: We'll ask her when she comes in.
- 1:08:05Speaker 9: First of all, Steve listens. She leaves the radio on
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: for him. Steve just needs a run and jump. Like
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: he can get a run start. Well, let's start at running.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: I'm Candace Lopez.
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: Those are your Texas Top Stories on Mix 102.9.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: Steve is big boned. If you're listening, Steve, it's okay.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: You're husky. I was husky as a kid. I had
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: to shop in the husky section.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: It's okay, Steve.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: It's okay, Steve. You got this.
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: Baby steps.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Start off with just a little lap around the house. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the couch. Maybe little jumps. He already practices UFC with
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: her fiance. He attacks him. That's a good workout, though. Yeah.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Well, that's not good for Richard, though.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: No, that's true.
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: It's Dirty Little Secret with Billy the Kid in the
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: Morning on Mix 102.9.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Brought to you by Mint Dentistry.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: It's Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez, Producer Pooh.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I brought in some vegetables because I'm trying to
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: eat better.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: So I'm just going to bring in some carrots and
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: some cucumbers and stuff like that. That's great. So I
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: don't eat junk and his body is rejecting healthy food.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: The carrot was good. Lightly salted.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: It was good. But that cucumber and then I added
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: that everything bagel seasoning. You see, Pooh can eat three
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: honey butter biscuits from Whataburger.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: And his body's fine.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: If he drinks too much water or anything healthy, his
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: body's like, what is this? What is going on over here?
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: I feel sick.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I feel sick. Yeah, my stomach is... I think it
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: was the cucumber.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: I'm sick.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I can't go out.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: I'm sick.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: All right, Dirty Little Secret, if you got one, bring
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: it 833-787-1029, and you do.
- 1:09:39Speaker 6: Yeah, it's kind of a heavy one, but I've never
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: told anybody this, actually, not even my sister. But a
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: couple of years ago, I helped cover up our dad's affair. What?
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: So my parents have been unhappily married, like, for a
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: long time, as far as I can remember.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: Honestly, I.
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: I can't really think of a time where I looked
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: at them and thought they really loved each other. It's
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: been pretty rocky for most of my childhood. And I
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: hate saying this because she's my mom, but she's always
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: treated my dad like crap, really, really bad. My sister
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: and I both saw it growing up, not just me. Obviously,
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: when we were kids, we didn't really understand or get
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: what was going on. But as I got older, especially
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: as an adult now, my dad and I started having
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: some pretty serious talks. And he's told me more than.
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: Once that the only reason why he stayed with me.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: Our mom was because of the.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: Kids, of us, you know?
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: But my mom is just a very unhappy... You know,
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: I hate saying this about my mother, but she's kind
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: of a miserable person. A couple of years ago, I
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: accidentally found my dad out with another woman.
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: And that was very, yeah, that was very awkward.
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: You found out about another or you saw them out?
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: So I was meeting a friend at this random hotel
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: bar one night and I walked in and saw my
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: dad sitting there with a woman. And you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: I was actually, it definitely shocked me because if you
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: knew my dad, you'd never think this is that he
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: was the guy to be doing this, you know?
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Yeah. You don't, you don't expect that ever, no matter
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: what's going on.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: No, not at all. But so later that night he
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: called me and basically he came clean to me on
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: the phone. He broke down and he, and he told
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: me like, he's been very unhappy for many, many years.
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: And he apologized to me because he felt like he
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: was setting a terrible example.
- 1:11:37Speaker 11: And he just, He just was feeling really guilty.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: He was completely embarrassed too at the same time. Obviously,
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: I wasn't happy about it and I wasn't happy with him.
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: And I told him that. But I also was way
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: more understanding than I thought I would be because of
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: the situation at home.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: But then what happened was my mom started getting suspicious.
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: She was, like, questioning where my dad had been that
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: one night. And somehow I got dragged into it. Call
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: it fate or whatnot. But she asked me something about
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: whether I was with him or not. And it just
- 1:12:11Speaker 6: came out of me.
- 1:12:12Speaker 11: I automatically lied for him.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: You knew what was going on.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: You knew that your dad was obviously doing something that
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: was wrong. And you said, no, I, I know I
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: was with him that night. So I don't know what
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you're talking about. Yeah.
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: I told my mom that my dad had been with me.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: And even though I knew he wasn't obviously, and my
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: sister still doesn't even know any of this. As far
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: as I know, the only two people who really know
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: I lied were.
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: You know, are me and my dad.
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: So yeah, Eventually, my dad told me that he ended
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: things with that woman, and I genuinely thought that he
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: was finally going to divorce my mom at that point
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: and just let her know.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: That's what I was going to ask you. I was
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: going to ask you if they're still together, because if
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: you said a couple years ago, did they end up
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: obviously splitting up or whatever, but are they still together?
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: Yeah, well, this is what started happening. It got even
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: more awkward, because my mom... unfortunately started having some really
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: pretty bad, serious health problems. And now I think my
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: dad just feels like trapped and all over again. We're
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: not really trapped, but feels guilty if he were to
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: leave her now. And, you know, this is for a
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: completely different reason. She really doesn't have anyone else to
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: take care of her. And there's no way he's going
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: to leave her while she's sick.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: So, Yeah, that's that's see, I don't think anybody should
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: be cheated on ever.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I don't care how miserable they are, how they treat someone. Then,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you know, and I understand at the same time why
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: a guy would stay in a in a relationship.
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: For the kids. I think people do it a lot.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I think women do it a lot. I think
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: it happens, but it never ends well. Never ends well.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: When I've watched somebody get treated like absolute crap for years,
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: and you know the entire story behind closed doors, things
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: don't always seem as black and white as you think
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: they're supposed to be.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: So I can understand why he did what he did.
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: I just wish I never saw it or never got.
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: In the middle or put in the position of knowing
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: any of it. I really didn't.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: It builds resentment with things. And now if she ever
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: found out, she'd be so mad at.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Me, you know? Do you regret covering up for him?
- 1:14:25Speaker 6: I do. Yeah, I mean, I, well, it's like half
- 1:14:28Speaker 6: and half. I don't because I love my father and
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: I'm looking out, I want to look.
- 1:14:32Speaker 10: Out for him and I want him to be happy,
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: but I.
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: Do because I just feel like, you know, it's just
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: not fair to my mother to not know any of
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: this stuff. And just, so yeah, if I were to
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: pick one, I would say, yeah, I feel, I regret it. Yeah.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: It's a big burden to carry.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Yeah, it sure is.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: Sure is.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I feel like after, too, like if somebody's acting that
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: miserable and she's that upset and she just seems like
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: she's always disgruntled.
- 1:14:57Speaker 7: Usually there's a reason behind that.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I'm not saying she's right.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: You have to address it, though.
- 1:15:02Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: And maybe he tried. Maybe there was, you know, some
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: people are in a mental state that is just not
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: a good place. So they're acting out or they're acting
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: like that for a reason. And you got to get
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: to the real source of the problem.
- 1:15:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: You can't pick sides just based on the surface.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: But it is what it is now, and I don't
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: think you could feel too bad. It's not like you're
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: going to go back and tell your mom now while
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: she's dealing with health issues, and I hope she gets better,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: and I hope it works out. But either way, that's powerful.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: So thank you for your secret and your confession.
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: Thank you, guys.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: We'll have another Dirty Little Secret tomorrow at 730. Pooh
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: will cover up for anybody.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: I will.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Even if he doesn't know you, you pay Pooh five,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: ten bucks, he'll be like, I'll call you, girl, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: say you're with me.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Oh, I'm getting excited. It's Mix 102.9, Ability Kid. See,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I knew I was going to hiccup as soon as
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I got here.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Candace Lopez.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Is that your name?
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I have the hiccups so bad. I don't know what happened.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: I feel so bad for you. I hate the hiccups.
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: Especially when you talk in the air.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: And you've got to talk. And then I'm about to
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: go to Grapevine Honda.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: And we're going to do this big reveal where Pooh
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: gets his new car. And I'm going to have the
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: hiccups for three hours.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: No, you'll be rid of them by the time we
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: get over there.
- 1:16:08Speaker 7: I just got, I can't. I mean, I've tried everything.
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: I don't know if there's.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Anything I can do to get rid of hiccups.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you take a cup of water.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Drink it upside down.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: No, drink it with your tongue on the outside of
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: the cup.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Oh, okay. You just want to see me drink.
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: No, I used to have bad hiccups.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: And my mom found this cup that had like a
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: tongue suppressor piece on it.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: It worked every time.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Where's the line music?
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: No, I'm serious.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: What in the white?
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: So then when I didn't have the cup, I was like, well,
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: just put your tongue on the outside of the cup.
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: So I have to stick my tongue through a cup.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: Outside of the cup.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: And drink.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Yeah. So it suppresses your tongue.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: So I can go to Grapevine Honda with water all
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: over my shirt.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: What the hell is that?
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Oh, man. You are slobbering all over the place.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Or take 10 tiny sips of water and then hold
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: your breath.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Okay. I'm going to try that first. Okay. Then sticking
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: my tongue out. And then she's going to be like,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: there's no such thing.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I just told you to do it and you did it.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: She's going to think she's so funny.
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I know, Candace. No, I'm not. All right. Well, listen.
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: I'm excited, Candace.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Are you excited?
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: So excited. We were, what, like an hour away?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Producer Poo, we revealed. I'm excited, too. Oh, good.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: Because you haven't really seemed excited. And I want to
- 1:17:11Speaker 7: wish you were.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: No, I'm excited. If you missed it, we surprised him
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: with a brand new car. The fact that he's going
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to get a brand new car from Grapevine Honda. He's
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: worked very hard. And, you know, ever since that day,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: we said that people are coming in with these conspiracies.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Conspiracy theories.
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: You know, about how, oh, well, it's going to be
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: a car with no wheels. Billy's going to trick you.
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: No, it's a brand new passport. No tricks.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Full size. It's not a power wheel.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: It's an actual.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: It's not a model.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because everybody was hitting me up online. Billy's going
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: to give you a model car. No, it has windows.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: It's a real car. You can drive. You can. Yes.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: There's no tricks as far as the car. There's no tricks. Really? Yeah.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Dang it. Give me the cup. I'll stick my tongue out.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: If you're telling the truth, say it without hiccuping. I
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: am telling the truth. Either way, we're going to Grapevine Honda.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: And they've been so awesome to help make this happen.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: So we're going to Instagram live the whole thing so
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: you can see it go down.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you'll want to see it too, for sure.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: And when you do see the big reveal, I know
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you'll be excited. I really think you'll be excited. Just
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: know that this little customization on the car was not
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: just me. It wasn't just me behind this idea. And
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: so you have many people to thank.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I'm thankful for everybody. No, but the specific surprise that
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I think you're... Because there's one more surprise.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Oh, Lord.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Yeah. We might have a big bow on it. We'll see.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Oh, ain't no shame in my game. Yeah. I appreciate everybody.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I'm thankful to everybody.
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: You're going to want to thank Candace, too, because she's
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: been a part.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Of this.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: That helps a little.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: I can't take all the credit.
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: I mean, Grapevine Honda did the majority.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: And of course, Zan. And yeah, everybody at Grapevine Honda.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: They're the truth. heroes. Zan, Amanda. Okay, yeah.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Your whole team here.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Yep.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: So we'll see you there at Mix 102.9 FM. We're
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: going to do it live on Instagram. Yes. The big
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: reveal live from Honda and Grapevine.
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I can't wait. Just wait to see Pooh's face and
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: him cruising around the Metroplex in his new interesting vehicle.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Oh, wait. What?
