  But okay, well, I suppose we should start at the beginning,

  well or our reactions. I mark myself not safe after watching it last night,

  I do feel like I'm different as well. And I am now looking

  over my shoulder because, as Ariana said, there are evil people in the

  world, and sometimes they're the ones that are closest to you. If this

  hasn't thrown a ripple through every relationship, every friendship, it has hit a

  nerve the likes of which I don't think we've ever had in our lifetime.

  no. Now, this was interesting to open up with this episode of them,

  like already in their confessionals talking about what happened and the night that it

  On Arianna's appearance on the show, she had said that she had been checking

  his phone lately, which is interesting, hmm. And I found it really

  wild that Tom said in his confessional normally I would delete something like that.

  And I'm like, I know, And so you're calling yourself out that you

  are clearly doing this type of thing all the time, and normally as part

  of your routine when you cheat, you delete all the evidence off of your

  phone, right, Yeah, you know. He had moments of sort of

  plainly saying certain things that I actually like. I I that to me.

  I'll take that every time over the nonsense, you know, whining and the

  lining like when he whinds Amy, and when a man whinds it sends something

  through my goddamn spine. That really when he had when they when Arion and

  you know, so just saying plainly, yeah, I usually delete that

  off my phone. Actually, was that was a winning moment for him?

  we had the first scene with Sandoval and Arion in their home and uh,

  you know, I don't give a fuck about Raquel that scene. Okay,

  we have Sandoval over at Schwartz's with him crying into Schwartz. We have Arianna's

  house with well, it's I'm gonna call it Ariana's house, not Tom's house

  with Sena and Katie where she actually tells them what happens and then they break

  the penis uh whistle flute. And then we have James and Allie's Allie's house

  and with Lala and Katie where he calls Raquel and basically pranks or we have
• 6:44
  Raquel's house with Sandoval. We have Villa Rosa with Arianna, Villa Rosa with

  Sandoval, Katie's place with Schwartz, Kristen and Arianna a. We got the

  girls All Girls Night, All in Black when our anatox with Schwartz, and

  then we have Shena's with Sandoval. I know that's a long list, but

  when you think back on the episode, which scene was the most powerful to

  you? Well, all bangers. Oh god, it's so hard to see.

  Yeah, everyone, I was like banger boom, you know, just

  one hand after another. And you know that they got the cast award for

  they got like a Critics Choice Award for best Cast, did they? Yes,

  they won that recently. Yes, oh wow, and of course yes.

  And they got the Uber one commercial, which I don't know if you've

  seen that, but the I don't think so. Oh my god. So

  they re sang they remastered good as Gold for Uber one and it's Sena and

  it is Lala and Arianna. Okay. I saw somebody tweet about it and

  I didn't have the uh okay, okay, okay, you got to get

  the band. I need to watch because the best part is when Lala is

  back. She's like being the producer and she goes savings and she's oh good.

  Okay. Anyway, I digress to give you a moment to figure out

  which scene I have like the best. Oh, you've got it, okay,

  okay, you have it all right. The one that just you know,

  shook me up, split me open, was Yeah. And I'm so

  happy to get to talk to you about this specifically because I have a specific

  Amy Phillips question that I feel only you can answer the raquel and sand of

  all scene I have. I literally just got chills right now. Oh God,

  I'll tell you first of all, to open on those galaxy lights.

  I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it. Couldn't believe it. I

  like. She did not. Oh, and she did, and she knew

  what she was doing, and producer if she didn't have him on A producer

  I actually heard about the bones she did, because I think those galaxy lights

  Yes, like they do something. They are meaningful and comforting to her in

  a way that is demented. Yeah, and she's done well. So part

  of first of all, just the the forty and misunderstandings that were happening in

  that scene. Tom calling her amazing but saying Arianna tom saying my family loves

  you, and her hearing I love you and her saying I love you,

  yes wild, which that showed us that they've obviously said I love you,

  said it, they've said they were comfortable in it. It wasn't the first

  time. And she was like, oh my god, he's saying it on

  camera. That's why she's her. Fais like, I love you too.

  We're doing like we're doing this. He's like, actually, actually we're not

  doing this, but I do love you. But now it's too late,

  so I guess I got to tell you it. Okay. I mean that's

  waiting with every bated breath, okay. And this is the part where I

  would like you to weigh in because you are a vocal expert, and I

  have the chill. The chills just hit again. What I found most unnerving

  was rock Hel's voice sounded different to me in that scene. It was more

  dropped in, it was more it was deeper. Yeah then her And in

  the you know cut with that scene is her and uh the producers asking her
• 11:09
  and her saying she had the best sex of her life, right like so,

  and that was back to like rock Hell talk you know, yeah,

  like the baby voice and like the giddiness, and in the sad scene with
• 11:22
  him, it just felt like a mask was removed. The real her was
• 11:28
  there. It scared me. It was a more just if. It just

  felt like a mask was removed and I was seeing her for the first markness
• 11:37
  for the last time. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and that

  vocal. That's interesting that you say that. I didn't even notice that.

  But you're right, it's that that fake character that she puts on for the

  camera, right, But also is I think part of her because her excuse

  for sleeping with him is that she was just so curious to see what it

  would be like to be physical with someone you love, which is a very

  strange statement to make when we know that obviously she's she loved James Kennedy,

  or maybe she didn't. She said, I've never had sex like that.

  Uh. I should have removed myself, but I didn't have the willpower to

  not see him. And when she said that, and she obviously has got

  that baby voice going, that was the moment where all of our stomachs turned,

  because you can't believe that someone like this is actually saying like you've you're

  you destroyed your best friend's life by making this choice, you've obviously and you

  have you just were curious. You were just curious to see what it would

  be like. And that's someone who's not tapped into anything. She is in
• 12:52
  a completely different orbit and also, like you said, extremely demented. It's
• 12:58
  so mind bobsuggling to me that she would just be giddy about all this stuff

  and be fine with it. And now she's off the face of the earth.

  I mean, she's she's away now we haven't heard from her, and

  it's probably better. But I don't even know would she even understand like the

  weight of this situationage, I don't know. I don't think that. Yeah,

  I it's it is like watching a made for TV movie about a psychopath

  about a psychopath. Yes, and you can't quite get your arms around it

  because it doesn't add up like you're like, but but she doesn't seem like

  she does. She looks like right, it doesn't you can't put it together

  if no, you know, all of them have had their their cheating,

  and it tracks for every single one of them, you know what I mean.

  Lately, these are some the you know, they are just some Los

  Angeles creatures, you know, what I and Raquel will never be allowed back

  in that town again. I loved when Ariana said she should move out of

  state and change your name back to Rachel. Yeah. I mean, but

  listen, I don't put past a comeback for her. I don't put anything

  past. Let me ask you this. Wow, that is wild. Okay,

  let me ask you this, Deanna, Because I had mentioned earlier,

  I don't know at what point that if there's any hope of us ever knowing

  the real, real truth, it's going to be from Raquel, and I

  think she'll sing like a bird. But do you think there's more to it.

  I think that she and Tom and Tom had a threesome. That's what

  to like explore and find out who I am. And I've just always wanted

  to have a threesome with two guys, and I mean, wouldn't that just

  be great? And I think that what ended up happening was that she and

  Sandabal were already together at that point and then it escalated to getting Schwartz.

  And I do think that Schwartz was coerced to be into the threesome. I

  think that he may may not have been one hundred percent in it first,

  but he probably had a very drunk night and then was involved in some way.

  Whether he finished the act of you know, but I think he was

  involved in some way, and that is why he is so dead set on

  the cover up, right, He's it's not just him looking out for his

  best friend. He's also to blame as well. Well. He strikes me

  first of all, the Toms needed that, they needed a rock hel to

  find their way to one another. So, you know, God bless But

  I'm fine. And I jotted this down watching the episode and and that scene

  with him and with Short's in Sandoval. I'm like, he needs, like

  there is a documentary about the Hasidic community, and there's in Brooklyn, and

  there's an organization called Footsteps, Okay, and they work on helping people get
• 17:15
  out because there is many cult aspects and he needs like a footsteps to pull
• 17:22
  him away from from Sandoval because he is right. So it's so he's so
• 17:29
  twisted up. Yeah, he is. He's got a lot riding on him.

  I mean, his whole career is based on this, this bro friendship,

  this bromance. I mean, that's what made him him. He's gonna.

  I don't think he'll ever have the courage or the guts to pull himself

  away from that. He never will. But unless you say that he gets

  the help that he needs, well and he listen, he could still have
• 17:53
  a working relationship with the guy. But it goes so much deeper than that.

  I think that it even in that scene, you know, Sandoval saved

  all of his emotion for for Tom. Oh my god, all is fake
• 18:08
  emotion. Okay, fake emotion. I mean I think that it's like a
• 18:11
  real actor, it's based on something. There is a kernel of real emotion
• 18:17
  there, and so I give him that. There's I mean, that is
• 18:19
  the technique. That is the technique, and he's using the technique, and
• 18:23
  he is using it. Well, is he doing Oscar winning performances? Absolutely
• 18:30
  not. He can't even he would never even get a daytime emmy him break
• 18:34
  them. I mean, the breakdown with Schwartz was was not it was okay,
• 18:44
  the heaving at Villa Rosa, that was corny as hell. However,
• 18:52
  here's where my most compelling scene was that I thought was the most compelling.

  It was with Sheena. It was the Sena scene because that was where I
• 19:03
  think I saw Sandoval for the first time have one ounce of remorse because it
• 19:11
  was that moment. And you know, as a classically trained actress, I
• 19:15
  throw that out there quite often, actually that I am classically trained, But
• 19:23
  I digress. It's that moment before you begin a scene. Okay, you're
• 19:32
  trained, you're taught to, you know, start to immerse yourself and your
• 19:36
  character all the questions, where are you coming from? Where are you coming
• 19:40
  from? Who are you? All the questions? And you immerse yourself in
• 19:44
  that moment, and now you are present, and now you are present.

  Okay. And so here he is sitting across from Sheena, who is rot
• 19:51
  with real, raw emotion, more than anyone except for Raquel. And Raquel's
• 19:59
  so full of rage right now she can barely even tap into the sadness.

  are blurred, lines are blurred. I am her. Oh my god,

  I'm turning into Sandival. I'm wearing all black. I'm going to start a

  so filled with rage she can't even really feel the weight of the sadness at

  this point, and she should not be. She needs to be filled with

  rage for a long time. But Sheena is devastated. She is so ripped

  apart, and she is so sad and so disappointed and so disgusted with Tom
• 20:45
  Sandoval and her raw sadness touched him and I saw you could see that it
• 20:51
  touched him in the moment before they even began. Okay, and Tom saw
• 20:55
  it. He looked at her and he was like, this is real,
• 20:56
  Like I feel like I heard her. I know what's going on. And

  then he was like, then he just tapped into he had to tap into
• 21:03
  the acting. But that I saw for a glimpse the realness there, and
• 21:07
  to me, that was the most compelling scene. And when Sheena brought it

  like I've never seen anyone bring it before. I never knew that I could
• 21:15
  fall in love with a woman the way that I fell in love with Sheenanigan's
• 21:19
  in that scene preach, Yeah, that's beautiful, thank you. She was.

  She was unbelievable, unreal and the no makeup, I've done it.

  She looks beautiful, I know, and the best she's ever looked. Yes,

  I had loved you like that right, gorgeous. I just want to

  closing out this scene with I gotta go. I have to go make my

  baby some food. Was also like what a weighted to exit. It's like

  I have to live my real life with my priorities. You have to go

  and you are no longer in my real life, like it was like something

  about it was also like you couldn't write it better? Yeah, you couldn't.

  And she did not write, rehearse and repeat like Raquel in the scene

  with Sandoval and you know, Jax Taylor was on Heather McDonald's Juicy Scoop podcast,

  great interview, and he told her I didn't get a chance to finish

  the whole thing. But he told her that when Raquel entered the scene like

  he was, he noticed that she would be so nervous that she would be

  looking at notes and papers and rehearsing lines. Stop it. Yes, And

  this is a perfect example when she's in the scene with Tom and she says

  to him and they're holding each other so awkwardly, I mean so awkward,

  just like hands on shoulders and it's so weird. And then Raquel's she says,

  it's like I'm going, am I really going to put my life on

  the line for someone that would cheat on someone that they love so much?

  You know, it was again a different Raquel, like you would pointed out

  earlier. That makes me think that you would be capable of doing that to

  me, you think, And also you rehearse this with your galaxy lights on

  and your Etsy sweater. I mean, everyone in this episode is wearing black

  except for Raquel, who's got like a sweater knitted by her grandmother. You

  know, you know what I like to do is like after I destroy lines,

  I just like to get cozy and like my knitted sweater. It's the

  weirdest thing. She's on a completely different level. Him entering her home and

  the dog jumping on him, and you're going, yeah, that dog has

  seen him before a lot. Oh, I didn't even pick up on that.

  That is just it's so messed up. And her giggling and her saying,

  oh, we said, you know, we always said we wouldn't do

  this if it wasn't worth it. But whoa, whoa Like this really is

  so much. I almost wanted to just throw I couldn't believe it. I

  thought to myself, that was the moment where I said I never want to

  see Tom Sandoval on my screen again. She's listen, Amy, are we

  going to get him on the screen? Do you think, like I haven't

  even my mind hasn't even gone to next steps. To be honest, I

  am only in the moment with these people, and maybe we shouldn't even But

  I'm curious, like, do you think they have to bring them? They

  have to. They're they're going to have to do something with the two toms.

  So here's the thing in we have a business, we have we've got

  much writing on it. And then also we're going to have to see Raquel.

  I mean we write just in terms of the ratings of it all.

  Baskin, who's the executive producer of Evolution, and he told Variety that the

  cast needs a break from the cameras all the drama because of the explosive episode,

  these explosive episodes, and he's that I thought we needed to put cameras

  on them right away, but I realize now, oh, we need a

  minute. He also said that the reunion is not just a recap of what

  you know, and it's not just an intense version of the emotions. He

  said, I'll put it this way. There are revelations, and there are

  revelations that not all of them know now, and that's because they separated the

  interviews. So the whole cast is apparently going to learn something new about Sandoval

  and Raquel and perhaps Ariana because those all those interviews were they did a whole

  separate thing as well. Wow, and I'm just going, well, what

  what is that? What exactly what new information could we get out of this?

  He said. I think everyone's wrapping their heads around what what that might

  mean with stars coming back to the show. No one's saying no, I'll
